Ahead on American Sunrise EARLY edition, It's morning in America. And with the shutdown over, millions of Americans, the Democrats were happy to sn starve can now return to the grocery stores and get food with their SNAP benefits, much to the chagrin of those Democrats who wanted Americans and America's poor to feel more pain and they said so themselves. But Democrat caused pain is still being felt at the nation's airports. And this weekend's travel will still be pretty dicey for a lot of Americans as we are now less than two weeks away from the busy Thanksgiving week travel. Another skirmish in the new American Civil war. A man who tried to confront New Jersey US Attorney Elena Hava ransacks her office. The FBI is looking for the man who's still on the loose. Thanks a lot, Mickey Mouse. Disney's lousy balance sheets spooked the stock markets into a big sell off, mostly due to the poor performances at woke ESPN and Jimmy Kimmel carrying abc. And liberals pounce as the White House invites FIFA to hold a major World cup soccer selection event at the Kennedy Center. The Washington Post is up in arms. But if Biden had done this, the left would have celebrated it as a wonderful welcome to the beautiful game. Prove me wrong. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY Edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. Your good deeds and bad deeds. That's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks.

Down the stories that matter.
Jake Novak
We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. Hey, everybody, welcome to a no tie Friday here in American Sunrise EARLY edition. Also, as one of our viewers is reminding me, it's also World Diabetes Day. The fight against diabetes is no joke. It's obviously become a bigger problem in this in all countries for a long time. And this is what Maha is all about. And RFK junior Health Secretary is really trying to fight. So again, world of Diabetes Day. Our thoughts with everyone who's fighting that disease and trying to not only fight it personally, but get a cure for it as well, a real cure, not just that maintenance that people on insulin are dealing with every single day. So we have that going on. But speaking of food and nutrition, it's also the day that SNAP benefits will go back into effect for millions of poor Americans. The Democrats have been happy to starve for the last couple of weeks or so. Joining us now is the state director of the Florida Conservative Caucus, David Pollack. David, the Democrats lost the shutdown gambit. I think that's all clear to everyone. Even they're saying that that's not an opinion, that's an objective truth. They've been saying that, including in some of their media allied outlets. But they've been dragged kicking and screaming into allowing the poor in America to eat again. What's the next massive destructive thing that you think that they'll do to try to hurt President Trump? They've been burning down this country since really before COVID It started with the Russia collusion hoax which tore a lot of this country apart, then with the COVID overblowing reaction to that in the hopes of crashing the economy to hurt President Trump. Now starving poor people, I guess. What's next? Are they gonna kick dogs and cats?
David Pollack
Well, look, I think certainly the Democrats lost on this one, but I think the radical leftist communists won. I mean, this was the continuing resolution that Chuck Schumer himself passed in March and they eventually passed it after putting Americans through 40 plus plus days of pain. So but at the end of the day, I don't know what they're going to come up with next. It was successful for I believe what their original objective was. And it wasn't actually to to make sure the subsidies for Obamacare were extended. It was to try to get them leverage over, I think it was two Tuesdays ago's election and they got it. I mean, look at Virginia, look at New Jersey, look at New York. So clearly one of their objectives was satisfied and it didn't matter how much pain it caused the American people, because Democrats holding onto power is the only thing they actually care about. If it's starving American people, if it's putting federal workers at home without paychecks, or even the ones that had to show up, the TSA workers who got a nice bonus, by the way, from the Trump administration or military members, they voted no one paying all of those people because again, this was about punishing people, making them suffer and, and also trying to get leverage in election. So looking forward to 2026, they'll continue to play the same games, but probably worse. So we're gonna have to be on our game here as Republicans and continue to highlight the pain that the Democrats cause. Plus our policy wins. We do need to talk about affordability in America because that is a real issue for Americans and we can't let Democrats win on a narrative they don't have the policies.
Jake Novak
Yeah, well, it's just amazing because of their allies in the mainstream media, the Democrats can cause the pain, that they can be the direct cause of the pain. And they can get away with blaming someone else for it, blaming the Republicans for it. Because if you're over a certain age in America, you still believe that the news comes from the legacy media outlets and from CNN and msnbc. It's just this is how they get away with it. It's so frustrating. David, you mentioned it briefly. A big part of the reason why at least the Democrats said they were shutting down the government is because of Obamacare they wanted to hurt. And Obamacare is one of those things that so many of us warned about when it was in the process of being debated, then when it went implemented, people like us noted that it wasn't working. It doesn't seem to get through to the American people that it's not about propping up this money losing loser, it's about replacing it completely. And thanks to John McCain and other people like that, that is not. That's been a non starter. We can't even talk about replacing it because the Democrats and one or two of their RINO allies keep propping up this loser.
David Pollack
Yeah, we remember the big thumbs up and then the thumbs down with John McCain keeping us from reforming Obamacare. But that's exactly right. What this shutdown did was it exposed the failure of Obamacare which we've been talking about for years. It put reforming Obamacare and Trump the other day said, I like Trumpcare, the sound of Trumpcare better than Obamacare. And I agree it put reforming Obamacare at the forefront of the conversation versus just these subsidies. But it also exposed the fraud and abuse and, and waste in the SNAP program as well. So I believe this is going to backfire big time on Democrats from a policy standpoint. But yeah, I mean the Obamacare subsidies they Democrats themselves set in 2010, this was their bill, not a single Republican vote. They passed it through reconciliation just to push this thing through. And they shut down the country essentially to prevent Obamacare subsidies from falling back to the very subsidies they themselves set. They knew this was doomed from the beginning, but they were hoping that. They were hoping that it would doom health care and you would have no choice but this government option of health care. But unfortunately for them, President Trump won. And now we are going to fix Obamacare once and for all. Because like Trump said, giving money to insurance companies to charge Americans even more money and then also charge Americans tax dollars to. To pay those subsidies, I think a much better option is give the American people money. Let's reform health care. That puts decision making back in the American people, or give it back to the American people like it was designed to do. If you like your doctor, you should be able to keep your doctor. And I believe President Trump is going to make that happen once and for all.
Jake Novak
You know, I don't know why I asked. What's the next horrible thing the Democrats are going to do to hurt the country and then try to blame on Trump? Because we know what it is. And I left out a big one. And that is the opening of our borders, the accepting of tens of millions of illegal aliens, many of them criminals. And now that the Trump administration has done a good job of starting to apprehend and discourage these people from coming here in the first place, you have judges, like this federal judge in Chicago earlier this week who was trying to release all 300 and so illegal immigrants who were brought in, illegal aliens who were rounded up by ICE in Operation Midway Blitz. So that's another part of their release. The pain on America. They know a lot of these people are criminals. They know a lot of these people cause major strains on city budgets, but that's what they want. Because as they get away with. It's another thing. They get away with causing the pain on the city budget or causing crime on the streets, and then they can say, well, that's President Trump's fault. I mean, they literally do this. They've done it already.
David Pollack
Yeah. I mean, it's even worse than just crime, right? I mean, these are murders, these are illegal aliens, most of them criminals who have come to the United States and consistently not only broke our laws entering the country, but broke our laws once they got here. Dangerous gang members, drug dealers. This one ICE raid operation Midway, was inspired by a DUI murder of an innocent American at the beginning of the year. I mean, these are not just your friendly neighborhood of Rago Garcia's. I mean, these are bad guys. And the government in Illinois has just decided, hey, we're just gonna let these people stay here. Not only let them stay, but protect them. So ICE has had to take extraordinary measures in order to apprehend some of these guys because of the interference by local and state government. And I don't believe this consent decree is going to release the 600 plus people. There's 13 that immediately have to be released according to this judge's order. But the rest of the 600 or so, it has to go through this process to see whether or not these, this consent decree was violated. But by the way, this consent decree, this is an Obama or, I'm sorry, a Biden era consent decree. I don't think Trump is going to have to be bound by it. I think there's some extenuating circumstances and superseding laws that inevitably are going to, I think, prove that this, this consent decree is not valid in causing these people to be released. That's what I'm hoping for. But the bottom line is, and you're exactly right, the Democrats, in order to create a narrative that they can campaign on because they actually have no policy, is to create this controversy surrounding enforcing our borders and enforcing our immigration law and removing criminal aliens. This is what the Democrats stand for, not Americans. They stand for power and winning. And everything we talked about this morning shows that Americans need to highlight that Americans need to see that Democrats are not working for them, but working for themselves. And I think if the Republicans stick to the messaging that our policies are superior, that we're going to fix affordability, we're going to bring down inflation, we're going to going to enforce our border, we're going to get rid of these criminal aliens, we're going to fix health care. I think Republicans win in 26 regardless of the games that Democrats play.
Jake Novak
All right, well, but wait, there's more because the Democrats also, their chaos merchandising efforts also are part of the dishonest spin in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Nasty and intellectually challenged Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett didn't know her facts and, and she got really embarrassed when she tried to talk about them on CNN. Check this out.
TJ Maxx Announcer
This is an email from April 2, 2011. Republicans were saying that that victim is Virginia Giuffre. As you know, she died by suicide. She's been very outspoken, very outspoken victim of Jeffrey Epstein. Here's the email right here on your screen.
Anabe Sofas Advertiser
She wrote a book, as you know.
TJ Maxx Announcer
And she did not accuse him of any wrongdoing. What do you make of that? And can you confirm that?
Anabe Sofas Advertiser
Yeah, I don't know.
TJ Maxx Announcer
Obviously it's redacted who the victim is. So, so I won't necessarily take The.
Anabe Sofas Advertiser
Republicans word on who it is.
TJ Maxx Announcer
That's redacted. And I don't know why they would.
Anabe Sofas Advertiser
Necessarily redact someone's name who is deceased at this point.
TJ Maxx Announcer
The Democrats did that, though. The Democrats were.
Jake Novak
No, no, no, I understand, but I'm.
TJ Maxx Announcer
Just saying, like, our biggest concern is.
Anabe Sofas Advertiser
To actually make sure that we are protecting victims.
TJ Maxx Announcer
And obviously she wrote a book. She told her truth.
Jake Novak
David. That was what this whole baloney thing in the news media earlier this week was all about. President Trump spent hours with one of the victims. Ooh, the innuendo, the guesswork, the smearing. It turns out it was Virginia Giuffre who already said that Donald Trump didn't do anything with her. Wasn't, didn't, wasn't guilty of anything, at least with her. So they deliberately took her name out of those emails and out of those headlines so that no one would know. Wait a minute. This is someone who's already cleared President Trump. I mean, this is really sick. These people are absolutely. And they're getting away with murder. I don't know. That CNN woman who's probably going to get fired for fact checking Jasmine Crockett on the air. I mean, just incredible. And they don't, they don't care. They'll just continue to do this.
David Pollack
Yeah, CNN has been pushing back a little bit, I think, since the shutdown started. I don't know, maybe it's been good for the ratings. I don't know. I don't watch cnn. But, but that being said, I think maybe, you know, Jake, because you were talking about it early on, I mean, before we went on air, you were talking about, you know what, gloves are off. We're going, we're just going to say it how it is with respect to the shutdown and expose the Democrats lies. But after seeing Jasmine Crockett and Elon, Omar and Aoc and some of these people get on camera and just lie to the American people, I'm thinking maybe our success in 2026 is just going and finding a bunch of idiots and making them our representatives. Because it seems you don't have to actually have any ideas or tell the truth or, or actually have any really brain cells to put together to say anything intelligent. You could just put morons on TV and let them say whatever you want. But honestly, how many times do we have to show that Trump had nothing to do with Epstein? He's not in any of the documents that show any wrongdoing. All these supposed victims have all denied Trump had any involvement. It's just a giant distraction. But interestingly enough, the other day, Republicans voted to release all of the Epstein files. And guess who blocked it? Democrats. Because at the end of the day, I think the Democrats have more to lose from the exposing the Epstein files than Republicans, and they know it. And it's about time we start flipping it around and start exposing them. So let's shine the light on the Democrats. Let's ask the Clintons how many times they were on Epstein island or how well they know Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, it's time we just have, you know, honest conversations about what's really in those files. But at the end of the day, Trump knows that this is a giant distraction from what the American people need to see. And that's real progress on the economy, real progress on the border, real progress with peace internationally, ending foreign wars. I don't think we need to spend any time with Jeffrey Epstein or worry about it anymore. I think we just need to continue to win and make America great again.
Jake Novak
Yeah. All right. Well, David Pollock, there's a lot more to get to, but thanks for getting to some of it with us. Have a great weekend and we'll see you again soon.
David Pollack
Thanks for having me.
Jake Novak
Coming up, Disney's lousy ESPN and ABC TV divisions really threw the entire stock market into a tailspin yesterday. Thanks a lot, Jimmy Kimmel. And yes, he is somewhat responsible. I'll have that story. And the same leftists who want open borders are suddenly outraged that the Trump team is going to invite the World south soccer, the World cup soccer officials to hold an important ceremony at the Kennedy Center. Well, too bad. I'll have that story as well when American Sunrise Early Edition continues.

Yeah, that is a beautiful shot of an apple in Florida. Hey, you know, there's a monopoly on New Jersey, too. I have a feeling the monopoly in Florida is looking better than the one in New Jersey this morning. It's also on the, on the water. Interesting. That word must mean something water related. Somebody who knows what that word means, let me know. Maybe it's a Native American word. I don't know if it's Spanish. I'd like for us to learn things on this program. Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition. It's a no tie Friday. Hey, the Washington Post is very upset this morning because the White House is inviting FIFA. That's the international body that runs the World cup, by the way. They're corrupt as hell, but we'll talk about that another day. But they're going to be holding a key, important pre World cup ceremony because the World cup is going to be here in the US Next year and they're going to be holding that ceremony at the Kennedy Center. The Trump administration invited them to use the Kennedy center for this event. The Washington Post is upset about it. How dare they use this, this venue that's supposed to be for cultural and high art events for a soccer thing. How dare they do that. Of course, if Biden had done it, as Emily Finn joins us right now, if Biden had done it, it would have been like, look how wonderful it is. The president's bringing in South American and European foreigners in a celebration of the beautiful game. That's what they call it, the beautiful game. A bunch of men crying. I would be okay with soccer, Emily, if it weren't for the fact that every player on the team starts to literally cry and whine when they don't get a call or when they want to call, it's so emasculating. But anyway, that's another issue. But Emily, you know, this is such a double standard. As long as the foreigners are coming in to cut their grass and bust their tables, they're okay. But use our Kennedy center, which isn't really there, as we pay for it. Use our Kennedy center for soccer. How dare you.
TJ Maxx Announcer
You are cracking me up with all of your soccer references here. I played a real sport. I played basketball growing up. And, and in America, football, like real football, not, not soccer, that dominates. Okay, we play real sports here in America. But the rest of the world absolutely loves this sport. It drives me insane that they count up on the clock. I never have any idea what is actually going on. But the rest of the world loves this sport and it's actually growing in popularity in America as well. And so I think this is yet again another example of President Trump being a very, very smart businessman and letting the Kennedy center, you know, host this FIFA World cup event to be able to drum up some more business in America as a whole. For FIFA to be coming here, that is a great thing for America and that is a great thing for the Kennedy center and for the potential of new, new business coming here with the popularity of this sport.
Jake Novak
Well, this is the great deal, though. You talk about the business opportunity. If you're outside the stadiums selling T shirts and snacks, you don't have to watch the game. So it's a win, win. Now, I'm just, I actually like World cup soccer. I don't mind watching it, especially if you're at a pub with fish and chips and a beer. I, I highly recommend that experience. But in all seriousness, the crying that goes on now here in America, we yell at the refs and we get angry at them and we kick dirt on them, but we don't start crying. These people actually start crying. It's one of the reasons why Europeans love Palestinians so much, because they cry over lies. And it's better. I wrote a whole article about this many, many years ago. Emily Finn, thank you so much for joining us. I will join you at the pub. Maybe when we watch the game, we'll just drink and watch and eat the fish and chips and we'll invite a lot of other.
TJ Maxx Announcer
We'll just hate on the game the whole time. We'll hate on everybody crying.
Jake Novak
We'll make fun of them crying. We'll make fun of grown crying, crying and writhing in pain. And then all of a sudden they're up and they're fine again. I mean, it's just, you know, they prove how again, lying is rewarded in Europe and that's why they like the Palestinians. All right, thank you so much. We'll see you again in the next in American Sunrise show.
TJ Maxx Announcer
Always fun, Jake.

Visit Apollo I.O. and sign up free. Today it's another pretty sunrise right now we're seeing here in Atlanta, Georgia, Georgia live this morning. Welcome back to AMERICAN sunrise EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Let's get to the markets because yesterday's sell off looks like it's going to continue. We've got down arrows specifically very sharply on the NASDAQ this morning. This was started yesterday and I'll explain it with Disney and I'll explain more about that in a second. But just go down the line. Gold and silver also down, but still gold, clearly over the $4,100 per ounce level. And oil crude oil down below 60 bucks even though it's up a buck this morning. Now let's take a look at bitcoin, wondering if it's breaking below the $100,000 mark, which it could do. And boy, did it ever. Look at that 95,000 now on Bitcoin, down another two and a half percent this morning. So now $30,000 off the all time high, that 125 level. So Bitcoin also selling off right now. So I want to explain that sharp sell off yesterday was almost entirely because of Disney. Disney is what we call a Dow component. There are 30 companies, 30 stocks in the Dow, 30. And when one of them has a bad day, it can drag the whole Dow down and bring the rest of the market down. That's what happened yesterday. So why is ABC having problems? Sorry? Why is Disney having problems? Well, I just gave it away. Abc, they're doing okay. Disney with their streaming, they're doing okay with their theme parks, they're doing okay with their cruise lines, they're not doing okay with ABC and espn. Now some of that is because a lot of people have just had enough with ESPN and the woke politics on their sports network they're trying to get an escape from politics and they don't get it very often when they turn on that network. And ABC has a lot of loser programs, programs that people don't make time to watch. You don't binge watch anything on ABC for the most part. Of course, one of the other things that happened last quarter at ABC was that whole Jimmy Kimmel controversy. A show that's losing money. And what investors on Wall street said to themselves yesterday was, hey, Bob Iger, you're the CEO of Disney. You had a great opportunity to jettison a loser like Jimmy Kimmel without having to make pay him a huge severance package or anything. You could have fired him for cause, for what he said about the Charlie Kirk murder and assassination and gotten away with getting rid of a money loser show without having to pay the star a gazillion dollars to go away. And so I think that that is a big part of the reason why they sent this stock down. ABC is still losing money and they had an opportunity to stop the bleeding there, at least to the Jimmy Kimmel show. They didn't do it. And that is why Wall street was very angry. They seem to be continuing to be angry today. Now, I just talked about how ESPN is also losing money for abc. But sure enough, Comcast NBC wants to not learn from that mistake. They announced yesterday they're going to be starting their own all sports channel. They'll call it NBC SN and it's going to launch next year. Now, it will mostly carry the NBA, Big Ten football games and other sports that are currently available on Peacock. This might have something more to do with the fact that Peacock has been a failure. For the most part, people have not been signing up for that streaming network. And all the money that Comcast NBC is paying to get those sports games on that streaming network is being wasted, or a lot of it is. So they want to put it on another platform so they can milk it for a little bit more advertising money. That's probably what's going on here. We'll see NBC, sn, I don't know, maybe that'll get some more jobs for some of the people who lost their jobs at ESPN because they didn't want to talk politics or support trans athletes. So if that happens, I'll be happy. They say, folks, that the house always wins, but that's apparently not the case for the biggest online gambling company in the world. This is incredible. It's called Flutter Entertainment. It owns a ton of betting websites, the ones that you know here in the United States are FanDuel and Poker Stars, but they own a lot more than that. Its shares were down 14% yesterday. That's after being down 5% on Wednesday because they didn't make that much money in the June through September period. And you know who they're blaming? They're blaming smart gamblers. They're saying gamblers are having a big winning streak on their betting sites. Now, I don't know if that's true. They've got a lot of people coming on their sites. And the law of averages in gambling has always shown that at the end of the day, the house always wins. But that's what they're saying. Now this might also have to do with the fact that you can do some exotic betting. And maybe some people have figured it out and they haven't figured it out how to stop it yet at a place like fanduel. We'll see. Hey, maybe it's because of all the NBA stars who are cheating and shaving points on games. Maybe that's why they're losing money. But it's incredible. It's so rare to see gambling outfits lose money. By the way, that happened here in New York City. Otb, the off track betting racehorse place actually lost money in New York City because the politicians ran it. But other than that, I've never seen casinos lose money like this. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Hey, it's moving America. Sponsored by artillery tea company artilleryteaco.com use promo code LIBERTY for 20% off your order. Artilleryteaco.com promo code LIBERTY for 20% off your order. I told you yesterday that Toyota was really doubling down on hybrids. They are the leader in this country in hybrid sales. They have 51% of the market share. One country, one company owns more than half of the market share. But now they're going to have company. Nissan is going to join in. This Nissan CEO saying yesterday they're also going to go all in on hybrids. Remember, Nissan is the company that's been struggling the most in the auto world right now. They were going to merge with Honda and until Honda looked at the company and said you're too fat. No, they kind of said that. They said you had too much overhead. That's so they sort of said they were too fat. Anyway, they're going to try with hybrids. I don't think it's a bad idea. The question is, have they made this decision in time? This is a decision they should have made five or six years ago. But they're trying everything to stay alive at Nissan and this is the latest. They're going to at least follow a winning idea this time. Not EVs but hybrids, which really do have, I think, much more of a long term shelf life in this country. Meanwhile, the company that has been too slow to de emphasize electric cars, those companies are feeling the pain. And that's Subaru this, this morning. Subaru has invested, by the way, $10 billion in the last few years in an effort to massively ramp up EV production. They really wanted to go majority EV production by 2030. Well, of course they're backtracking from that now. They're going to pivot more to also hybrids and keep a lot of their gas powered cars that they thought they were going to get rid of, keep them on the market. The cost of that is another $1.4 billion. So they've had to pay throw good money after bad, frankly. This is a. Listen, a Subaru also makes some great cars. I hope it survives. But this EV craze that they all fell for, they kind of basically they got high on their own supply, right? These companies pushing EVs on us, they must have known that they weren't really that great. And not for a large part of the market. 10% at the most. Anything more than 10% and you spent too much. Subaru finding out that the hard way. Well, we have a Yiddish word, it's called chutzpah and it basically means nerve. And hundreds of South Korean nationals who were working here illegally and got nabbed at that Hyundai plan in Georgia earlier this year actually have the chutzpah to sue ICE for what they say was unfair treatment. Yes, they were working here illegally. They didn't have the paperwork. You know, Hyundai didn't even bother to get the paperwork for these people. It's amazing how much they didn't think they had to follow the law. I snapped them, as you remember in that raid. They eventually got returned home to South Korea in a deal that President Trump made with South Korea. But they're still suing ice. I don't know how far this lawsuit is going to go. I do know something though, that this entire lawsuit and this entire pushback on this is absolutely encouraged by the South Korean government, which by the way, the new government of South Korea, very pro China, I'm sure. That'll work out really well for the people of South Korea to be to have a government that's pro China. But that's what's going on here so far. It's causing things like this to happen. Okay, you know how when you buy things these days, anything at all, all of a sudden you get an email or a text from the retailer asking you to rate your experience. I can't stand that they're asking me to do their customer research work for them. And most of the time they don't even offer me anything in return. Sometimes they do, but I'm supposed to take 20 minutes to do your work for you. Well, I can't wait to see the customer service email response that they get from one New Jersey woman at a from a car dealership in New Jersey. Earlier this week we found out that a woman who traded in her Jeep Wrangler thought that she was going to the whole thing was being processed and everything was going fine. But even after she traded it in, she still was getting easy pass bills. You know, that's that automatic toll collecting device. She was still getting Easy Pass bills from her Jeep Wrangler and other mysterious charges. And then she found out that the salesman at the dealership didn't actually turn it into the dealership or back to the manufacturer. He was living in the car. Now I've heard of bad customer service before, but that's something else. Anyway, he was racking up several hundred dollars of bills by living in the car that she traded in. They're trying to make things right with this woman right now. I hope they do, but this is going to be one of the worst. Can you give somebody negative stars in a customer service review? If so, I hope she does. This is an outrageous story. Anyway, coming up, the shutdown is over, but the Democrats will still fight tooth and nail to pay for that massive money pit called Obamacare Care. I'll talk to one doctor who has a better idea to actually lower lower the cost of healthcare in America. American Sunrise Early Edition will be right back.

It's Friday, November 14th. Here are this morning's top stories. It's Morning in America. And now that the shutdown is over, millions of Americans that the Democrats wanted to feel the pain either at the airport or the grocery store. Well, maybe they'll have less pain this morning. Remember, remember, this is the day that SNAP food benefits go back into effect so the Democrats can stop starving them, much to their chagrin. And also, the airport should be a little bit better as well. I'm praying for all of you traveling and going to the grocery store this morning, another skirmish in the new American Civil War. A man who tried to confront New Jersey US Attorney Alina Haba ransacked her office. The FBI is looking for the man who was still on the loose. Thanks a lot, Mickey Mouse. Disney's lousy balance sheet spooked the markets yesterday into a big sell off, mostly due to the poor performances at Woke ESPN and Jimmy Kimmel carrying abc. Thank you, Jimmy. No, thank you. And liberals pounce as the White House invites FIFA to hold a major World cup soccer selection event at the Kennedy Center. The Washington Post is up in arms. But if Joe Biden had done this, the left would have celebrated as a wonderful. Welcome to the beautiful game and foreigners all over the world. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION continues.

Now.
Jake Novak
Welcome to a no tie Friday here in American Sunrise EARLY Edition special. Thank you to those of you who are watching and commenting on all of our platforms and the Getter platform. You can do that on X and Rumble and, and Substack as well. One of our viewers on the Getter platform came through right away with an answer to my question. What does monopolon stand for? And I was correct in guessing that it's a Native American word. The Lenape Indians, who were the major tribe here in the New York area before the Dutch settled here. And apparently that word means land of the good bread. So there's a monopoly in New Jersey and there's a monopol in Florida. Land of the good bread. Hey, I know you're not supposed to eat a lot of carbs, but I absolutely love bread. I bake it myself. So maybe, you know, that maybe I should move to that town. Joining us right now is Dr. Ahsam Honza. He is the CEO of Rocket, Dr. AI. Dr. Hamza, even with their shutdown loss, the Democrats say they're still going to go full four ahead, full force ahead in trying to get a three year extension of the added, I should underline added added Obamacare subsidies that were put in during the COVID situation. Dr. Before we get into any solutions here, isn't this entire program, as many of us started to warn Everybody back in 2009, isn't the entire Obamacare program a disaster and not good for health care in America?
Dr. Issam Hamza
Well, you know what? The US spends over what, $5 trillion in health care right now. And the quality of care, I think everybody can agree, is not where it should be. Over 100 million patients are without a primary care doctor. Doctors are overwhelmed. They're retiring early. They're doing, you know, 40% of their time is doing paperwork. So the answer is not pouring more money into the space. It's actually trying to find better, more efficient ways to deliver quality care. Right.
Jake Novak
So we're going to talk about that in a second because I know you have one of those solutions and I'm so glad that we're going to talk solutions. But one more thing I want to say the mainstream Media, at least, at least it's reporting on the fact that the Obamacare subsidies and the cost of Obamacare, not the subsidies, the cost of the Obamacare is going up. The problem is when you look at articles like this that we're showing you right now from the Washington Post, they don't put two and two together. Now, it could be because they're stupid. Never underestimate the stupidity of people in the news media that, myself included, I could be stupid. You got to really fact check me or at least find out I know what I'm talking about. So it's possible they don't know. But there's also deception involved here. Instead of saying, hey, this is a machine that's not working. That's why it's a problem. They basically make it sound like those mean old Republicans aren't funding this money pit enough. And that's the problem, as opposed to saying, maybe we should replace it with something else. It's an incredible lack of erudition on their part. And I know that that's something that must frustrate you as well, 100%.
Dr. Issam Hamza
I mean, I don't think there's anybody who's happy in a system where a lot of the stuff is being spent on things that don't provide the, you know, the quality care to the patient. So everybody's frustrated in the current system. And the solution is to find better ways to spend that money. And there is ways of doing it that's using technology. It's been there and it's coming. It's getting better every day.
Jake Novak
You know, there are two words that should be used and really the big. The basis, the pillars of a discussion about the cost of anything that people want. That's. And you learned this in fifth grade, I'm sure. Supply and demand. If you're having a discussion about lowering health care costs that isn't focused on supply and demand, then whoever is leading that conversation should not be listened to. It's not about politics. It's not about culture. It's not about racism. It's not about any of those things. It's about supply and demand. Now, I know that at Rocket Dr. AI, it seems to me like you're increasing supply. Supply. We're not. Good luck trying to reduce demand for health care. I know there's some people like Ezekiel Emanuel who wants everyone to commit suicide at age 75. He really said that, by the way, he's over 75 and didn't do it. You first, Ezekiel, who's not willing to do it. So you're not going to reduce demand for health care. Let's, let's just stop with that nonsense. But you got to increase supply. So tell us how Rocket Dr. AI increases supply, at least in a virtual way.
Dr. Issam Hamza
Yeah, so it's not only just increasing supply, but it's actually increasing access to the doctors already there. The pharmacists are already there, the nurses are already there. The problem is there's a lot of stuff in the middle that kind of make it a lot more difficult to access that care. So imagine an AI powered nurse like we have that can call you on a Sunday night when you or your kid is sick and talk to you and be able to ask questions, take the history and figure out if you need to go to the hospital or not, or whether you need to connect to a pharmacist or a doctor or a nurse and give that information to the doctor, diagnose you with whatever you might have. We can diagnose over a thousand diseases using our platform and then connect you to that practitioner on the platform. We've created a platform that basically makes the doctors entrepreneurs. They don't have to worry about anything but seeing you as a patient. And all the admin part of it is done for you, for the doctor. So the paperwork, the billing and so on, all they have to do is worry about seeing you. And then imagine that those tools helping the doctor during the visit to make sure they're asking the right questions and diagnosing you the proper way. We can correct a lot of misdiagnosis, which costs the system something like $100 billion a year in misdiagnosis every year in the US and then after calling the you and seeing how you're doing or your kids doing on the antibiotics and, you know, connecting you to the doctors who are there and willing to see you, but are burdened with a lot of paperwork and mid work and billing and insurance and a lot of that stuff they don't want to do.
Jake Novak
Three points I want to make about that and ask you to follow up on. First of all, you mentioned just a few moments ago that we're spending like $5 trillion or $6 trillion on health care in the United States here. The sickest 10% of the public, the sickest, the most injured, the people who are really are responsible for more than 60% of that. And a big part of that is not just the cost of the treatment, the cost of actual surgery or an expensive drug, but also the regular maintenance and checkup on people like that. So this sounds like A great way to cut down on, on that cost. The second thing is you talked about following up with patients, not just the ones who are chronically sick, but also the fact that, look, a big reason for the problems with healthcare in America and it's not talked about enough is very often the patients don't comply with good doctors like you tell them you can go to the doctor, the doctor can tell you what medicines to get, the doctors can tell you what practices and behaviors you should adopt. And a lot of patients just don't do it. And again, I see your service as a way of at least reminding people and maybe they're just being a little forgetful to not be, to not procrastinate and do what the doctor told you. And the third thing I'll say is every. I don't know if I have any truckers out there, but everybody knows that the virtual AI doctor in Star Trek Voyager was the best character on that show. So don't Scoff at all three of these things. Right doctor?
Dr. Issam Hamza
100%. You hit it right on. You know, you hit the nail on the head. Basically you want to get to those patients before it's a big problem. You want to get to those patients before they end up in emergency room because that costs a lot more. If you can catch these problems early when you're at home, when it's early in a disease or a problem, before it becomes a heart attack or before it becomes advanced diabetes or whatever it is, that's the way to do it. But the problem is that you don't want to hire more doctors and more nurses and spend more money in the system. But you can use things like the AI powered nurse 247 to call the patients and talk to them in whatever language they want, see how they're doing, answer questions, triage them, pick up if something is something wrong, calling them after between visits. Imagine no one does that right now, but imagine between visits seeing how their diabetic readings are maybe monitoring. Our AI powered solution can monitor their sugar levels and pick up if it's spiking and follow up with them. Those are the ways to reduce the costs, is to get better access to care, not to spend more money. And I think what I always call is the three P's. It's one of the times in life, and this is something I'm passionate about, where you have the buy in from the three Ps. The payer loves it because it's more efficiency and less payments and so on. The practitioner loves it because they don't do the paperwork. They're doing the stuff they love to do and seeing the patients that they need to see. And the patient loves it because they have better access to care whenever they need it. I mean, right now, if you have kids, you're freaking out on a Sunday night if they're sick because you either have to go to emergency or you're going to ChatGPT, which is most of the time scarily wrong or can be hallucinating and so on. So you want something that's trustworthy, dependable and accessible.
Jake Novak
Yeah. Well, I'm going to miss, I mean, if I, if I get a really good AI medical expert to tell me what to do, where am I going to go read the Time magazines and the Newsweeks that are 20 months old waiting in the newsroom? I'm just kidding. This is definitely preferable. Dr. Issam Hamza from Rocket. Dr. AI, thank you so much for joining us and reminding us. And I do think it really is not just access, but supply. You are increasing supply of healthcare and that's how you lower a cost because good luck getting people's demand for health care to go down. That's for sure. Have a great weekend, doctor. Thank you.
Dr. Issam Hamza
Thanks, Jake.
Jake Novak

Jake Novak
It's a live look at the capitol in Washington, D.C. where the Democrats have decided to they're going to stop temporarily trying to starve millions of poor Americans because the snap benefits go back into effect. If you're at the grocery store today, Democrats will hurt the poor again later today with something else that they do. You can, you can bet on that. Hey, I'm Jake Novak. This is the no Tie Friday. We're going to wrap up here, American Sunrise, Early Edition before we get to the big show. And today we have a special guest from the big show. We haven't seen him in a while. On Early Edition, Terrance Bates. And Terence, you know, I want to bounce something off of you because, you know, if you remember, what was it two months ago, we were going crazy just like everyone else was over the whole Jimmy Kimmel thing and how he insulted and deliberately smeared supporters of Charlie Kirk and then he got suspended in the whole thing. And then of course, during that process, Terrence, we learned that ABC and especially the Jimmy Kimmel show is a big money loser for the parent company, Disney. Well, if you didn't know that then, you know it now because the markets as you, you know, you announce the opening bell for us every morning on American sunrise right at 9:30. Boy, the markets got dragged down hard by Disney yesterday. Disney's businesses overall are doing okay, but they're big money losers. ABC and ESPN drag Disney down and then drag the whole stock market down. And so here's what I think Happened, Terrence and I, you know, I know a lot of investors talking about it. They were looking at a show like Jimmy Kimmel, which loses tens of millions of dollars a year, and they were all thinking during the last quarter, great, here's an opportunity to fire this guy, end the show. You won't have to pay him a big severance because you can say we fired him for cause and that's it. And Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, didn't do that. And investors are like, what gives, dude? Do you want to stop the money pit here or don't you? And the answer seemed to be no. And so they're revolting against the stock. Yeah.
Travis Holloway
And it's going to be tough, I.
Jake Novak
Would imagine, for espn. To espn, excuse me, for Disney, excuse me, to rebound, given that it's got all these other entities under its umbrella and unfortunately, some of those entities are losing big money now.
Travis Holloway
I have to admit, Jake, I'm a.
Jake Novak
Bit surprised about espn just because I kind of feel like it's the standard, if you will, for sports reporting and for people to go get their sports. I would have thought that that would.
Travis Holloway
Be more beneficial, if you will, to.
Jake Novak
Disney in general, but apparently it's not. And then, of course, as you mentioned, some of the decisions that have been made internally in ABC and some of.
Travis Holloway
The big contracts that are being paid and all of that, it's obviously not.
Jake Novak
Helping the network in general.
Travis Holloway
And so we're now seeing an impact.
Jake Novak
Financially on the company overall. Yeah, let's. Let's dig into ESPN a little bit because some of their losses are. I knew you were going to go there. See, that's why I say, Jake, that I thought that Disney would be. That ESPN would be bigger because that's.
Travis Holloway
What everybody wants to talk about. It's, it's almost part of idea DNA.
Jake Novak
It's a reflex when we think of sports to go to espn. But go ahead. You were going to make a point, Right? You know, it is, but it isn't. Now, you and I around the same age. I think you're, you're younger than I am. But the thing is, I think I'm pretty sure you're younger than I am. But still, we're about the same age. There was a time when people like you and me made Sports center appointment, appointment tv. Now, I'll admit I still watch of a lot of live sports on espn on all the platforms, on my phone, on my laptop, and of course, on my tv. The live sporting events are the live sporting events. And I want to watch them. And ESPN increasingly is the one that's providing almost all of the sports. But SportsCenter I haven't watched in maybe 20 years, Terrence. I'm not interested in their takes on things. I'm not interested. They used to be funny. They used to be all about sports. They started, of course, they put a lot of politics in there. Some of the people that you see sitting on the set at SportsCenter seem to me like they're, you know, they're not, they don't, they don't seem like they're all there to me. I mean, it's crazy. So I think that's a big reason. It's hard to make money off of live sporting events all the time because it costs so much. Not because people aren't watching, but it costs so much to get those contracts. Sportscenters should be relatively cheap for them, but people aren't watching it like they used to. No, you're right.
Travis Holloway
And then I think also when you.
Jake Novak
Add in the whole streaming element that.
Travis Holloway
You know, people aren't paying for ESPN proper, they're finding other ways to stream those sporting events.
Jake Novak
And so the shows like a SportsCenter and some of the other ESPN exclusive content may not necessarily be as accessible or as palatable to people because they.
Travis Holloway
Don'T want to have to pay for it. I think you can also add that into that mix.
Jake Novak
Yeah, it's just one of those things where, and also there's people who believe, economists who believe that ESPN is just one of those classic monopolies. They own so much of the business that the only way they can make money now is to get into something else. I don't want them to do that. I just wish that they would be fun on SportsCenter again and show the games. And I'll be happy to continue to subscribe. All right, Tara. And will be with you for the next two hours in American Sunrise. I will join you in the 9am hour as well. Early EDITION comes back on Monday. Thanks for watching. Host: Jake Novak
Notable Guests: David Pollack (Florida Conservative Caucus), Dr. Issam Hamza (Rocket Dr. AI), Emily Finn
The November 14th, 2025 episode of American Sunrise Early Edition delves into the aftermath of the recent government shutdown, critiques of Democratic policy maneuvers, perceived media bias, cultural clashes around American institutions, and the state of health care and the economy. Host Jake Novak leads pointed discussions with conservative guests, consistently emphasizing traditional American values, skepticism of progressive policies, and highlighting what the show characterizes as mainstream media double standards.
“...with the shutdown over, millions of Americans the Democrats were happy to starve can now return to the grocery stores and get food with their SNAP benefits...”
– Jake Novak (03:10)
“Democrats holding onto power is the only thing they actually care about. If it’s starving American people, if it’s putting federal workers at home without paychecks... this was about punishing people, making them suffer and, and also trying to get leverage in election.”
– David Pollack (06:41)
“It doesn’t seem to get through to the American people that it’s not about propping up this money losing loser, it’s about replacing it completely.”
– Jake Novak (08:08)
“It put reforming Obamacare at the forefront of the conversation...But it also exposed the fraud and abuse and, and waste in the SNAP program as well.”
– David Pollack (09:13)
“...the opening of our borders, the accepting of tens of millions of illegal aliens, many of them criminals...”
– Jake Novak (10:50)
“This is what the Democrats stand for, not Americans. They stand for power and winning.”
– David Pollack (11:49)
“They deliberately took her [Virginia Giuffre] name out of those emails and out of those headlines so that no one would know. Wait a minute. This is someone who’s already cleared President Trump.”
– Jake Novak (15:03)
“It’s just a giant distraction. But interestingly enough, the other day, Republicans voted to release all of the Epstein files. And guess who blocked it? Democrats.”
– David Pollack (15:46)
“Of course, if Biden had done it...it would have been like, look how wonderful it is. The president’s bringing in...foreigners in a celebration of the beautiful game.”
– Jake Novak (23:39)
“What investors on Wall Street said to themselves yesterday was, hey, Bob Iger...you could have fired him for cause, for what he said about the Charlie Kirk murder...I think...that is a big part of the reason why they sent this stock down.”
– Jake Novak (31:34)
“The answer is not pouring more money into the space. It’s actually trying to find better, more efficient ways to deliver quality care.”
– Dr. Issam Hamza (49:38)
Supply and demand as the crux of reform:
Novak says: “If you’re having a discussion about lowering health care costs that isn’t focused on supply and demand, then whoever is leading that conversation should not be listened to.” (51:32)
Rocket Dr. AI:
Dr. Hamza describes his company’s virtual AI nurse and doctor technology, aiming to increase access, reduce admin burdens, and eventually lower costs.
“Imagine an AI powered nurse like we have that can call you on a Sunday night when you or your kid is sick and talk to you and ... figure out if you need to go to the hospital or not.”
– Dr. Issam Hamza (52:34)

The show maintains a confrontational, sardonic, and often sarcastic tone, heavily critical of Democrats, mainstream media, “wokeness,” and progressive cultural trends. Exchanges are brisk with frequent humorous asides (e.g., mocking soccer, Jimmy Kimmel, politicians) and recurring references to traditional American values, personal responsibility, and economic freedom.
This episode of American Sunrise Early Edition is a spirited critique of perceived left-wing mismanagement in politics, media, and culture. Host Jake Novak and guests dissect the post-shutdown political landscape, health care reform, border policy, and the intersection of entertainment, business, and politics with a right-leaning perspective. If you’re seeking alternative commentary to mainstream media talking points, with an irreverent edge and focus on conservative solutions, this show offers a full dose.
