Ahead on American Sunrise EARLY edition. It's the last day before Election Day and the nation is watching three races that could be going down to the wire. The closest contest is apparently in New Jersey, where most polls show a dead heat between Republican Jack Cittarelli and Democrat Mikey Sherrill in the race for governor. New Jersey hasn't voted for a Republican for president since 1988, so a win for Cittarelli would be groundbreaking. Now, Virginia hasn't voted for a Republican for president since 2004. And the race for governor there is also very close in both of these races. Barack Obama came to campaign for the Democrat candidates, raising questions as to why he's working so hard to block the black woman running for governor, winsome Earl Sears. And then there's the race in New York City, the mayor's race. Communist Islamist Zoran Mamdani is still favored to win, but there has been a growing shift towards Andrew Cuomo in recent days. And now there are open questions being asked about whether someone is bankrolling Curtis Sliwa's decision to stay in the race. And of course, off the campaign trail, the government shutdown is still dragging on. That includes the freezing of SNAP food stamp benefits for millions of people. But there's no movement yet from the Democrats, who are still hoping that the shutdown they've caused and maintained will be blamed on the Republicans. And in a Sweeping interview with 60 Minutes, President Trump defends ICE raids and scores of other policies, all while the CBS interviewer tried to interrupt him at every moment. She wouldn't have done that to a Democrat. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. Your good deeds and bad deeds, that's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION with your host, Jake Novak starts now. Welcome to this big week here, beginning here on Monday, here on American Sunrise EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Thank you so much for joining Us again. This is the day before Election Day in America. And for those of you who know about how elections run, even with the early voting and some states that have mail in voting, I know we hate that. It's still the biggest day, really of the campaign. This is the day where everything is thrown out onto the field. We do all the work we can possibly do. So joining us right now, let's get some RAV All Stars. Let's get a RAV All Star team going. So right now, here's a familiar face, Mike Crispy, the host of the Last Call. His on Real America's Voice. He's also a Trump surrogate in New Jersey. I think we need to give you a better title like Trump's man in New Jersey, the Jersey boy. I know you're more than a boy, so I don't want to call you a Jersey boy, Mike. Let's get right to it, though. This New Jersey race, which I think is the best chance for the Republicans to pick up a win in a state that hasn't voted for a Republican for President since 1988. What can you tell us about what's going on there? I think this is our best shot to win something tomorrow.
C
Well, New Jersey is a very interesting state because nobody, Jake, was paying attention to it before President Trump brought this thing within 5 points in the 2024 election. In 2021, Jack Cittarelli was our nominee for governor against then incumbent Phil Murphy. And Jack came within three points of securing that victory. Not a lot of people were talking about New Jersey at the time, and people weren't even noticing that result. That was with no fanfare. He came within three. President Trump in 2020, they say, lost the state by 16 points. He brought it to five. Jack lost it by three in 2021. Now Jack has the wind at his back. He has President Trump on his team. They're working together in lockstep. There's obviously so much national attention around the state. So there really is a perfect storm brewing here in New Jersey where there's so much outside attention, so much focus on it that we don't normally have. And Jack has a lot of un benefits in the election that are shaping up well for him. A lot of enthusiasm, a lot of key endorsements, a lot of key Democrat leaders in the state actually flipping over to endorse him. We talked about Jake in another program. He got the endorsement of the Lakewood vod, which is a council of the top rabbis in the Orthodox Jewish community. That's worth tens of thousands of votes alone. So I think things, Jake, are gonna look really, really good on election night. I think it's gonna be a nail biter. But Jack Cittarelli has every piece of momentum that you could want. And he' in gubernatorial elections for the last 10 years, the third time that he's run. They say third time's the charm. I think he's got this.
A
Yeah, you know what, you made a good point there about the work that was being done. You know, before we talk about New York City just across the river from New Jersey, that, to me, is the key there. He did the work between the loss in 2021 and 2025, I don't think that the Republican Party or some of the candidates in New York City did anywhere near as much of the work as Jack Cittarelli did. You know, he took a loss. He learned from it. He didn't just shrink away from the public eye, and he tried to make up the differences. And the big difference is getting some of those endorsements he didn't have last time. So I want to go to New York, where, you know, you had a Republican candidate in 2021, and Curtis Lewa, who lost, didn't seem to really learn anything from that. Reemerged just at the end as a candidate one more time. But the polls are tightening, showing that Andrew Cuomo is now maybe only six or seven points behind Zohra Mamdani. I don't know if the gap can be tightened here. I'm not betting sadly on Mamdani losing, but it's possible. I mean, you know, we have to really remember that these mayoral elections in New York City usually turn out 26, 27% of the registered voters. So, I mean, if there is a huge influx of new voters who have been registered but haven't voted before, we could see an upset here. Right, Mike?
C
Well, I gotta say, Jake, it's very unfortunate. I don't want to be doom and gloom on this beautiful morning, but I think Zoran has this election in the bag. I mean, it's really sad to say. I don't like saying it. New York City's right behind me. I'm from New York. I love New York. It's my homeland. But unfortunately, this city is about to implode because they are about to elect a radical communist. Trump said it last night on 60 Minutes. Not a socialist, a radical communist Communist with deep, dark ideologies that are the opposite, the antithesis of everything that New Yorkers stand for. His nice guy act with the smiles and the Selfie videos. It's all an act. He is a very, very hateful, radical person. And it's really unfortunate that New Yorkers are about to go through with this. I mean, it's a lot of people, Jake, I think, have moved from other places that came into New York that live in the outer boroughs, Brooklyn and stuff like that that are voting for this guy Zoran. And unfortunately, I think all of the native New Yorkers, the longtime New Yorkers, who would want anybody but Zoran, whether it be Cuomo or Curtis Lewis or anybody, they're outnumbered now. And unfortunately, I think Zoran's going to win and New York is going to have to learn to listen the hard way and it's going to get worse before it gets better.
A
Yeah, that's, that's a good dose of realism there. You know, let's just make something very, very clear, Mike. And to all the viewers here, all three of these elections, for those of you who know a tennis analogy for the Democrats would just be holding serve. New York City, we know is incredibly far left. Democrat, hasn't voted for a Republican, especially for president or on the national stage for a very long time. Same thing with New Jersey and Virginia. So I noticed something, Mike. First of all, I knew the mainstream media was gonna try to portray any victory tomorrow by a Democrat as some kind of major change in the waves against. I mean, none of that would be true. These are three. Three areas in three states. Two states in one city that went heavily for, or at least clearly for, not so much in New Jersey, but clearly for Kamala Harris. Second, I noticed something else, Mike. Now that the Virginia and New Jersey races are very close, certainly New Jersey is very winnable for Jack, and Virginia is potentially winnable as well. I notice now that CNN and the other mainstream media are focusing even more on the New York City race, because that's the one, like you say that they think that they have in the bag. I mean, for any sane thinking person to think that voting for the left wing candidate in New York City is some kind of a rebuke to Trump is incredibly laughable. I mean, they're getting away. I mean, we can't let them get away with this. Any victory for the Republicans tomorrow will be a huge move. The other direction, not the other way around. Holding serve. That's all it is.
C
It's a phenomenal observation. And you're 100% right. New York City is a Democrat city. It's been a Democrat since Rudy Giuliani was the mayor. And then you had mayor Bloomberg, who was an independent. So the they're going to elect the Democrat nominee. Who is Zoran, who won this thing against Cuomo in the primary to become the Democrat nominee? Him winning this election, although very sad and alarming, it's not a surprise, it's not a rebuke, it's not a move for the Democrat Party. He's the nominee because Cuomo ran a lazy campaign in the primary, because he didn't even know who Zorant was. That's just obvious. Now you make another great point. They're going to say, oh, Virginia, if winsome Sears doesn't win in Virginia and Spamberger wins the race, they're going to say, oh, there was a big flip in Virginia. Hold on a minute. Virginia always goes, goes blue in the presidential year. So where would the gain, where would the pickup really be? That wouldn't be a rebuke on Trump? Democrats in Virginia, Republicans in Virginia, you could only be the governor for four years. So, Youngkin, if he was running for reelection, obviously he would get reelected. The incumbent always has an advantage. That is not going to happen because he's term limited. So that's not exactly a marquee win. And then in New Jersey, again, nobody even thought New Jersey would ever be on the map. The fact that it's this close shows that President Trump's policies, that his message, that his platform resonates. They used to say that Trump's MAGA message was too radical for purple places like New Jersey and swing states. I think Trump is proving that it's 100% possible because this message, the MAGA message, is what's being talked about in this campaign. And it's this close that proves that Trump's message can win anywhere.
A
Yeah, let's. I want to, I want to talk about a little bit of a touchy subject for our last topic, and that's going back to Virginia here. And I'm saying this with full recognition and disclosure that this is two white guys talking about this. But I want everyone to understand something that really, I think is the elephant in the room when it comes to Barack Obama and the people that he's been campaigning for, not just in this election, but ever since he was elected. You know, love or hate Barack Obama, and I didn't like any of his policies, save one or two. It was to some Americans, maybe even millions of Americans, gratifying to see that, oh, we finally have a black man who got elected president. It should be noted that there hasn't been one significant black male candidate for Any office in America. And don't give me Cory Booker, please. He's a joke. Since Barack Obama. And here he is going not only campaigning for Mikey Sherrill, another white woman, rich white woman in New Jersey, but then he goes to Virginia and campaigns for Abigail Spamberger, another white woman, against a black woman who if she wins, would be the first black woman elected governor in America. I'm sorry, that's the elephant in the room. Couldn't he have just sat that one out and said, hey, look, Winston Sears, he's not such a bad person. I don't agree with, but it's just so obvious this. I think he likes the fact that he's still the most successful black candidate, period, in American history. And again, I understand it's two white guys talking about it, but let's not ignore the elephant in the room, Mike.
C
You know, you make a great point, Jake, because I was watching MSNBC the other day and it was Al Sharpton, the race hustler himself, who was talking about the race in Virginia. And I was listening to the segment, I was listening to the segment and the segment was over. And I'm like, do they edit something out? Do they cut something out? Because Al Sharpton didn't say anything about the race of the Republican nominee in the election, a black woman. So it's kind of amazing how Al Sharpton, you can kind of show what a fraud he is, what a fraud MSNBC is, what a fraud Barack Hussein Obama is when they have a major party candidate in a winnable race. It was a black woman. If that's they actually care about, maybe celebrated a little bit, maybe pay a little respect and deference to that. Not at all. They're campaigning for Abigail Spamberger in that race, who is a former Deep State asset. Mikey Sherrill and Abigail Spamberger, I think, were college roommates. So privileged elite Virginians, Winsome Sears, I believe, ran a nonprofit and picked herself up by her bootstraps and is self made. So it's kind of amazing how Winsome Sears is. Everything that somebody would celebrate in a major party candidacy by both sides should be celebrated by both side. But we haven't heard one word of that. And Barack Obama, it's like he came here to New Jersey this past weekend to do a rally for Mikey Sherrill. And they did it in the gymnasium in Essex County Community College. And that gymnasium, he couldn't even fill it up. So maybe there was like, you know, two, three thousand people there for Barack Obama when President Trump came to New Jersey. He had over 100,000 people on the beach in Wildwood. So you tell me, who's more popular? Barack Hussein Obama's time is running out. He needs go away. Nobody cares anymore about him, Jake.
A
Yeah. And you know, by the way, there were black Republicans when Obama ran in 2008 who crossed the line. Again, I didn't agree with it, but most notably Colin Powell, who decided to endorse Barack. And it was clear because he just felt there should be a black male candidate winning in an election like that. Again, I don't really agree with that reasoning, but I can understand it. Not one black Democrat has crossed the line to support winsome Earl Sears. These people, our ideologues to the end. And again, they have the right to be that way. But then they just can't lecture us about diversity and DEI and all that kind of stuff if they're not willing to do it themselves. Mike Crispy, the host of Last Call here on Raft. Thank you so much for joining us. Getting up early. Thank you.
C
Yes, sir.
A
All right. Coming up, the shutdown is still going on. And now the Democrats are hoping to help more Americans lose weight than Ozempic. Just kidding. But will Senate Republicans take President Trump's advice and use the nuclear option? And what's the real reason why everyone on the left, from Hillary Clinton to Kamala Harris, are so bent out of shape about the White House ballroom construction? It's not just because of their usual Trump derangement syndrome. I'll reveal that later this hour as American Sunrise EARLY EDITION continues.
D
What's that sound? That's the sound of Downy unstoppable scent beads going into your washing machine and giving your clothes freshness that lasts all day long. There it is again. It's like music to your ears or more like music to your nose. That freshness is irresistible. Let's get a Downy Unstoppables bottle shake. And now a sniff solo. Nice. With Downy Unstoppables, you just toss wash. Wow. For all day freshness.

That's a live look at Columbus Circle in New York City. You know, that's a little bit of traffic. All of a sudden, the traffic came into the shot. I was saying, oh, my God, there's no traffic. A lot of you saw Columbus Circle a shot similar to this yesterday as a New York City marathon. New York City Marathon ends in Central park. And this is a great place to check out the marathon next next year in Columbus Circle, one of the few streets in Manhattan that's still kind of geographically put Together the same way it was almost 100 years ago. Obviously, there's more cars now. Welcome back to American Sunrise, EARLY Edition. I'm Jake Novak. It's a Monday. And a special welcome to those of you on the getter and the rumble chats, Many of you commenting also on X and on substack. I appreciate it. Hey, this, the shutdown is dragging on. I don't know, what is it, day 39. I'm not really sure anymore. Obviously it's very, very long. And joining us right now to talk about it is Emily Finn. And Emily, you know, over the, a lot of us thought that over the weekend with the suspension of or the freezing of SNAP or food stamp benefits, whatever you want to call it, this would end. You know, now you can say that the Democrats are enjoying starving some Americans. I guess that's what's going on. Maybe they should do a new commercial and say that they're cheaper than Ozempic. Emily, you don't need Ozempic. But I mean, honestly, this is one of those things where you thought, well, maybe now they would do something about it. President Trump is more than willing to go the extra mile to open this government again. He's now telling the Republicans in the Senate go ahead and use the nuclear option. His reasoning is, yeah, we know the Democrats will use it against us when they get the majority in the Senate. But he's thinking, interesting, more like a normal American. He's saying, so what, we do something good now, we maybe give up something later? Why not? I mean, it's an interesting thought.
E
Jig. At the end of the day, the fact of the matter is Senate democrats have voted 13 times to not reopen the government. And now we're 40 days into this. And like you said, no one needs Ozempic anymore because they're not getting their SNAP benefits. I mean, this is having real impacts. This is having real effects on Americans. You know, government workers are not able to cash their paychecks. I mean, this is just going to continue to have more and more problems for us. And at the end of the day, Jake, this is the only job of our politicians, is to keep the government open and functioning. And it is extremely disappointing to see this from the Democrats. Like I said, 13 times that they voted to not reopen our government. They're not doing the job that the American people elected them to do.
A
Yeah. And I think that the impact that they think the shutdown is going to have, this is what happens when you're in a bubble, when all you do is think about government stuff and politics stuff. And you live in D.C. and things like that. You think that this is the be all and end all. And we both complained about it. We're not saying it's nothing and we're angry that this is happening. But the idea that a shutdown of any length of time will really, really impact people at the polls in a big way is a tremendous misunderstanding that people in a bubble have. These are people who think that they're more important than they really are. These are people who think that people think about politics 24 7. Hey, I do a political show on TV, Emily, and I don't think about politics 24 7. I really don't have other things to think about. And it's just incredible. They just have to be focused on this all the time to think that people really care. But there are people getting hurt from this. But not because they're politically obsessed.
E
Not because they're politically obsessed. But like I said, if this continues to go on and they continue to not do their job, it's going to have even more negative impacts on the American people. So at the end of the day, you know, this is what America is. We have to vote these people out. If they are not going to be able to negotiate and come to the table and actually get something done here, then we need people that are going to have those conversations. I'm thinking of Senator Fetterman right now. At least he comes to the table and he actually talks to the other side and has a little bit of common sense. I don't necessarily agree with everything that he says. I don't think everyone does. But at least he's some guy that can, that can actually have those conversations and, and try to get this figured out.
A
Yeah, well, he's from a swing state and that's probably why he's that way. We have too many people in Congress who have absolutely no accountability. The Nancy Pelosi's of the world, the Chuck Schumers of this world. Although Chuck might get some accountability from the far left. But when you have no accountability, no good things happen from that. Emily Finn, thanks for being accountable. You're gonna be accountable between the 8 to 10am hours. We'll see you then as well. Thank you so much for joining me.
E
Thanks, Jake.

A
It's B.O.
E
The valet must have had B.O.
D
Can'T be.
A
Nobody has B.O. like this, Jerry. It's B O. But the whole car smells. Hey, sometimes a bad smell on the car is the valet's fault. It's not the valet's fault in some other cases. I got a story for you about a really, really bad SM that once blew out some guy's wallet. I'll tell you that story. When American sunrise and Moving America comes right back.
D
What's that sound? That's the sound of downy, unstoppable scent beads going into your washing machine and giving your clothes freshness that lasts all day long. There it is again. It's like music to your ears. Or more like music to your nose. That freshness is irresistible. Irresistible. Let's get a Downey Unstoppables bottle shake. And now a sniff solo. Nice. With Downey Unstoppables, you just toss wash. Wow. For all day freshness.

It'S a live shot of Covington, Kentucky, going into Cincinnati. A lot of Cincinnati is like a southern city. Ohio is the most amazing state in the United States. It has different cities that represent different parts of the country. You got Cleveland and Akron and Toledo. That's the old rust belt. You got Dayton, Ohio, which is a real military town. It's kind of like a military base. You have Columbus, Ohio, which is a college town but also an upper middle class town. And you got Cincinnati, which might as well be a southern city. And it was the scene of one of the craziest NFL games I've ever seen. Yesterday I Cincinnati ended up losing. Crazy game. Let's take a look at where the markets are going to begin today. We're seeing green arrows especially for the Nasdaq which is really recovering from a bad day the Nasdaq had on Thursday. But it was up again a lot on Friday and looks like that rally is going to continue. The Dow is just going to treading water. Gold and silver also up again. Gold back over that four thousand dollar per ounce level. And take a look at crude oil where it's $60 a barrel but very close to 61, which again really very tame prices on the price of oil. That's despite the fact that OPEC over the weekend said they may delay their production increases. In other words, they may, you know, keep the supply where it is instead of increasing it. That did not really jack oil prices up very much. Let's take a look at Bitcoin because it's been struggling. And yeah, there it is at the $108,000 mark again, of course compared to a year ago, very, very big, big gain. But down from that 125 all time high. All right, now they are saying the quiet part out loud. I'm talking about Amazon and Walmart. We've known for a long time that artificial intelligence was going to eliminate a lot of jobs. No kidding. But Amazon and Walmart now are saying this openly. They're saying that a lot of positions are going to be eliminated. By the way, this comes after years of both of those companies increasing their workforces considerably and they've been doing well with it. By the way, sometimes expansion ends up costing you a lot of money and you have to take some losses in the short term. Not so for Amazon and Walmart. But I want everyone to remember this. When it comes to AI, AI isn't like the old school downsizing where only some types of workers get eliminated or in the case of these kinds of companies, maybe just factory workers or the blue collar workers. AI is coming for everyone. And I want to make a very easy prediction to make. This isn't very courageous on my part. A lot of the people who are making the official announcements for Walmart and Amazon today within their own companies saying hey, AI is going to eliminate a lot of jobs. Their jobs will also be eliminated. And I'm talking about the top, top executives as well. It's already gutted a lot of top executives at places like Google. So folks, AI comes for everyone. You better be ready for the double edged sword of AI I'm not a Luddite. I know we need to have new technology. But if you think that your job's safe from it as you eliminate other people's jobs using AI, you're wrong. It's not going to work that way. Well, it's almost the end of an era for Warren Buffett. For those of you who watch financial news or read the Wall Street Journal, this guy has been lionized in America for about 40 years. He is a great investor. There's absolutely no denying that. He's also a great master of public relations. He's got the whole country thinking he's the kindly grandpa who wants the rich to pay more taxes and yada yada, yada. It's a total farce. And he has every right to create a farce. But time is running out for him. He's in his late 90s. He's about to leave Berkshire Hathaway, which has made a lot of money for investors. There are Berkshire Hathaway investment clubs all over the country where people pool their money to buy a couple of shares. At Berkshire Hathaway, well, they reported over the weekend a 17% rise in profits from the same period a year ago. But the stock is not going to go up today. That's my easy. Another easy prediction. Why? Because investors have been investing in the personality and the mastery of Warren Buffett. Not so much in the companies that he owns. And he's leaving. He's going to be leaving soon. And people aren't going to want to put new money into that stock right now. They might hold it there for a while as a hedge against something else. But Berkshire Hathaway is going to have to prove they can create another Warren Buffett. And I don't think they could do it. Hey, it would be nice if we could go a couple of weeks in America without any talk of Jeffrey Epstein. But here we are. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that JP Morgan Chase flagged many of Epstein's transactions as suspicious. As far back as 2002. He was making a lot of those transactions that are just under $10,000. That's what crooks do because $10,000 sets off automatic alarm bells. So the bank was all over his financial improprieties and telling everybody they could about it. But the facts also show that JPMorgan Chase ignored other evidence that it had of Epstein's human trafficking about that the bank wasn't so talkative if it just figures. Unbelievable about how so many people were touched by this guy's scandal. I have to think that maybe that was the whole point of his entire career to kind of be the man who opened the doors to sin in Wall street and maybe also government. And that's why they didn't blow the whistle on. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Hey, this is moving america. Sponsored by artillerytea company. Artilleryteco.com use promo code liberty for 20% off your order. Artillery Tea is all natural. Holy. The tea bags are chemical free and each tea bag can be used twice. Artillery Tea company is family and veteran, owned and operated and a portion of your purchase goes to help veteran and first responder charities. Artilleryteco.com promo code LIBERTY for 20% off your order. First it was Ford, then it was gm, and now it's Nissan. That terrible aluminum factory fire in Oswego, New York, that's upstate New York. Then I'm pretty sure this was the first program to show you and tell you about in all of America because we care about the car industry. Well, now that aluminum fire is now slowing production on Nissan and their top selling vehicle in America, the Nissan Rogue. This is no joke for Nissan. They have made 7,400 fewer rogues since that fire over the past month. That's the last thing Nissan needs. Remember, the company is still struggling to survive after its planned merger with Honda fell apart late earlier this year. Nissan doesn't need fewer Rogues on the road. This is very bad news for them. This aluminum fire is gonna again, another example of how our supply chain in this country isn't protected enough. We need more of our factories here in the United States and we need them not to burn down. All right, maybe you're not such a fan of some of the companies that get into all this other stuff that's going on in the country. When it comes to being in the stock market. I know the stock market is at an all time high. I know it. But the markets at least have some standards. Remember, there are some laws and rules that you have to follow if you want to stay listed on the major exchanges. That includes the Nasdaq, which is now threatening to delist an electric sports car company called Polestar. Volvo was one of the companies that helped start this and they spun it off. You see, the NASDAQ will kick you off the exchange if your stock stays below a dollar per share for more than a few weeks, sometimes even a few days. Well, Polestar is not at a dollar per share. And it may get kicked off the exchange, which will save a lot of future investors from making the dumb investments in electric vehicles that I've talked about for a long time on this program. Electric vehicles have a place in our society and in our market, but only about 10% of it. People invested way more than 10% of their money in electric vehicles. That was a mistake. And the NASDAQ's going to come to your rescue here. Probably not going to let you put any more money in this loser. All right. Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew. That's the case also at Volvo, where CEO Hakan Samuelson is making a slight revision to his famously stated goal that Volvo. Remember, he promised that Volvo would be 90 to 10 to 100% EVs by 2030. That's only five years from now. Well, he's changing that now. He's saying it'll be 2035. Spoiler alert, he's going to change it again. There is never going to be a 90 to 100% market for electric cars. And again, there are people. This would be funny, and we could just laugh at this guy. But remember, there are people. And in the case of Volvo, an entire nation's economy relies on this. This is just. It's incredible political pandering, but it costs a lot of people money. And that makes me upset. Now, I want to talk about something else that makes me upset. Mechanics who aren't willing to take on a job. This is a case going on right now in the country and going a little bit viral on TikTok and some of the other platforms. There's a Honda salesman named Tyler Weaver, actually owns a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer. He took it in for service. They wouldn't service it because it smelled bad. As simple as that. They said it smelled a little bit like gas, which could mean anything from a fuel problem. It could be simply that his fuel cap was loose, or it could be a serious problem with his H VAC system. This, however, is not an uncommon situation with Chevrolet and the Trailblazer. The good news for him is his video went viral. GM looked at it, and they said they're gonna take care of him in his vehicle. But if he hadn't done that, he might have been stuck with basically a brick that doesn't move. Okay, coming up, is New York doomed to the rule of a communist Islamist mayor? We're gonna have the latest on some of the new polls that may be offering some form of hope. Or maybe it's just a dream. And later, what's the real problem Democrat elites have with the Trump White House ballroom? They're not really telling you the full story, even on Fox. I'm going to break down the real reason for you when American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION comes right back.

It's Monday, November 3rd. Here are this morning's top stories. It's the last day before Election Day and the nation is watching three races that could be going down to the wire. The closest contest is apparently in New Jersey, where most polls show a dead heat between Republican Jack Cittarelli and Democrat Mikey Sherrill in the race for governor. Hey, New Jersey hasn't voted for a Republican for president since 1988, so a win for Cittarelli would be groundbreaking. I call it the Jersey score. Now, Virginia hasn't voted for a Republican for president since 2004. And the race for governor there is also close in both of these races. Barack Obama came to campaign for the Democrat candidates, white women raising questions as to why he's working so hard to block the black woman running for governor in Virginia, winsome Earl Sears. And then there's the New York City's race. Communist Islamist Zoran Mamdani is still favored to win. But there's been a growing shift towards Andrew Cuomo in the polls and then from endorsements. And by the way, there are now open questions about whether someone is bankrolling Curtis Sliwa's decision to stay in the race. It wouldn't surprise me. Off the campaign trail, the government shutdown is still dragging on and that includes the freezing of SNAP food stamp benefits for millions of people. But there's no movement yet from the Democrats who are still hoping that the shutdown they've caused and maintained will be blamed on the Republicans. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION continues now. Hey, everyone, I'm Jake Novak. Welcome back to this Monday here on American Sunrise EARLY edition. Thank you so much for joining us. Hey, I hope most of you got a chance to see maybe on social media, maybe here on maybe on Getter, some of the highlights from President Trump's interview on 60 Minutes. Now, of course, the main highlight to me, just as someone who's been in TV journalism was the incredible number of interruptions that the president had to endure, which you might say, well, that's just aggressive journalism. But of course, if we're talking about Joe Biden or any Democrat, they would not have been interrupted every two seconds like President Trump was. So let's get that out on the table. Also, there was one moment when the interviewer said, like, I looked into this, and it's almost like she was in third grade. I actually did some research, Mr. President, and really quite annoying. But here's what President Trump said during an interesting moment in the interview where they were trying to embarrass him by showing him video of ICE being very aggressive. Selective video, by the way, which you're about to see, are people being taken down by ICE after they physically assaulted the ICE officers first. They do this in Israel all the time. I'm used to this trick, but here's President Trump not backing down. Check it out. More recently, Americans have been watching videos of ICE tackling a young mother, tear gas being used in a Chicago residential neighborhood, and the smashing of car windows. Have some of these raids gone too far? No, I think they haven't gone far enough because we've been been held back by the. By the judges, by the liberal judges that were put in by Biden and by Obama. You're okay with those tactics? Yeah, because you have to get the people out. You know, you have to look at the people. Many of them are murderers. Many of them are people that were thrown out of their countries because they were, you know, criminals. Yeah, nice try. Again, selective editing of the video. The young mother attacked the ICE guy first. Same thing with these other incidents. I've seen this trick for a long time and so have you. This is nothing new, but they're trying to get away with that also. It's just so obvious. This is a person reading a script. Sweetheart, the producers writing you those questions, they're not your friend. Try doing some of your own research and talking normally off camera and don't have written questions out in front of you. When you're talking to the President of the United States, can you at least know what you want to talk about with him and have an organic conversation? This is why TV news in the mainstream media, beyond their political bias, which is a problem, beyond their geographic bias, which is an even bigger problem. It's because these people don't know what they're doing. This is not a normal conversation. This is a person reading a script that someone else gave them. I read Scripts too, but I wrote every word, so I'm giving myself a pass on that one. This is why these things don't work. All right, now I want to talk about the election in New York City because probably the question I get asked the most these days is why are there some Jews supporting Zoran Mamdani for mayor of New York City? One of those Jews is Brad Lander. He's a New York City controller. In addition to being a bad politician, I know some people who work for him. He's not a bad. He's not a good person either. By the way, he could sue me for libel if you want to. I've got the people willing to go on record, so you probably shouldn't do that. Brad, here's the thing. There's probably only 5 to 6% of Jewish voters in New York who are going to vote for Zohar on Mamdani. And they're not voting for him because they believe in anything he says. These are people who are deliberately just trying to kind of leave the team. As you know, that's the way that works. Every group has them. Obviously, Jewish people get more into the spotlight over this. We're seeing a massive number in the last couple of days, especially in boroughs like Brooklyn, of Orthodox Jews coming out in big, big numbers to vote for Andrew Cuomo. School buses filled with them going to the in person voting. So that's one thing I want to make clear to everyone. Now here's another sicker fact. The so called Jews for Mom Donnie organization. It's a real organization. The New York Post found out that it is run by the niece of a Chinese government official. Here's a shocker. Neither the Chinese government official or his niece are Jewish. This is the kind of thing that you can do in America. Listen, you can call yourself anything you want and get yourself officially licensed as a political group. I can call myself Catholics for New York. I can call myself Muslims for New York, even though I'm neither one of those things. So don't be fooled by that. Now the Jewish vote is playing a role in the New Jersey governor's race. Mike Crispy was on at the top of this hour talking to us about it. But I want to get a little bit more of the details for you here. President Trump is talking about it as well. He put out a true social post and he had a lot of them last night. But this is an interesting one here about how he's talking about how in New Jersey, Orthodox Jews supported him in tremendous numbers in 2024. Which we know, and the rabbis in a town called Lakewood, which is almost completely very Orthodox. Jews, schools, housing, communities, the whole nine yards. And they have been coming out in big numbers as well for Jack Ciatarelli. Now, this is why this is significant. While they did vote for President Trump in big numbers in 2024, in 2021, they voted for the Democrat, Phil Murphy, the current governor of New Jersey, in big numbers. So for them to flip over to Trump right now could really change things. And these are not people who are typically polled by the pollsters. A lot of the people in these communities are not allowed to own regular cell phones by their rabbis. They don't answer the door to pollsters and things like that. Kind of like the Amish in some way. In that way. And so this is completely. Is a large group of voters not factored in to the polling numbers. So we have to really consider this. I'm predicting that Jack Cittarelli will win this election. I'm not so sure about Virginia. And I am also like Mike Crispy, I'm a little bit downtrodden about what's going to happen in New York City, but New Jersey, I do think Cittarelli is going to pick it up. Not for the least of this reason that I just mentioned. And President Trump mentioning it as well shows you that this is a major, major factor. Now, let's talk about the shutdown for a second because it's still dragging on and you all need to know about how it's going to. When you think about this exchange between CNN's Jake Tapper and House Democrat Minority Whip Catherine Clark. Now, this clip I'm about to show you is actually one month old, but if you wanna know why the Democrats aren't winning the shutdown argument, this is why. This was again about a month ago, and it's still 100% true. Check it out.
G
You're blaming the Republicans for the shutdown, but in point of fact, it's the Democrats in the Senate who are refusing to vote for the clean continuing resolution to fund the government for seven weeks. I mean, that just, just as a point of fact, the way that we have always covered shutdowns is that the party that is not voting for the cr. The continuing resolution to fund the government is the party that is blocking the government funding and is it is responsible for the shutdown. That's how we did it the last time in 2018, 2019. That's the time we did before that during the Obama administration. I mean, I mean, it's your party that is refusing in the Senate. That is refusing to vote for the continuing resolution.
A
Did you see the utter look of shock on Catherine Clark's face? She's like, wait a minute, I came on cnn. They're not supposed to criticize me. What's happening here? You could tell she was absolutely in shock. Now, again, that was one month ago. He has not. Jake Tapper and CNN haven't repeated that much since then. But that was all that needed to happen. The shutdown should have ended on October 9, the day after this clip. If Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries had any brains, they should have huddled up and said, look, Jake Tapper is making it. Not only is he coming out against us, but he's making it really, really clear. Even a CNN viewer can understand what Jake Tapper just said, that the Democrats are the ones who have started the shutdown and have maintained it. And that look of shock on Catherine Clark's face, She'd never been to CNN and been challenged in that way. This is all it takes. All it takes is just some responsible journalism. There's nothing partisan about what Jake Tapper just said. He presented it as an objective fact. I give him credit for it. What I don't give him credit for is that he hasn't repeated this every day. This should be the lead on his show. They call it the lead. This should be the lead on his show. Every time he talks about the shutdown since October 8th, it hasn't. So he's playing games again. He's. He's. One day one thing and another day of the next. It doesn't really seem to have integrity for more than one day in a row. But still, this could have ended the shutdown had he done it a little bit more and had the Democrats actually had some knowledge of this and actually listened to it. All right, I want to be blunt about something else. Gold is up around 40% this year. You saw a couple minutes ago back over 4,000 bucks an ounce. Now, that is not speculation. That's reality that I show you every day on this program. And if a portion of your savings isn't diversified into gold, you're missing the boat. Here are the facts. Inflation is still too high. The US Dollar is still too weak, and the government debt is insurmountable. Have a nice day. This is why central banks are flocking to gold. They're the ones driving prices up to record highs. But it's not too late to buy gold from the Birch Gold Group and get in the door. Now, Birch Gold will help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax sheltered IRA in gold you don't pay a dime out of pocket. Just text America to 9,898,98 and claim your free info kit. There's no obligation, just useful information. The best indicator of the future is the past and gold has been historically a safe haven for millennia or a safe harbor. Grammar Police, I know you're watching. What else can can say that? Nothing. Text America to 98-98-98 right now to claim your free info kit on gold. That's America to 9898 98. Protect your future today with Birch gold. Yeah, they're grammar police who tell me that safe haven is redundant. Should say safe harbor. Okay, I'm sure you all know that. Coming up, the left wing media is bashing President Trump over that big White House ballroom. Most of the right wing media is focusing on the wrong rebuttals. However, David Brody and I will get to the real reason why the Democrats are so angry about it when American Sunrise early edition comes right back.

That's a heads up control remover. About to talk about the White House ballroom and they give me a live shot of the White House. Thanks guys and gals in the control room. Very nice. Getting a little bit of a breeze there in dc. Very nice time of year in Washington dc. The mosquitoes are gone. Some of the. Well unfortunately the people in Congress are still there. Hey, we're going to talk about the White House ballroom. But I got to start with this point. The political class in America, these are the people who are the career federal workers all the way up to people who keep just getting elected. So elected officials all the way down to high level bureaucrats. They've had a good scam going for generations. They live undeservedly like kings on the taxpayers money with all the lavish trappings of aristocracy. You know we don't have an aristocracy in this country like France before the revolution, but we kind of do because they get to live like kings. Now that gets to the heart of the reason in my opinion. But I think I'm right. Why there is so much pushback on President Trump's self funded White House ballroom construction. Some people say, oh, the answer to these Democrats complaining about the demolition of some parts of the White House in the ballroom is to remind them that President Trump's paying for it. No, that's precisely what's making them angry, Because, David Brody, the jig is up. If you have people in government who use their own money to add to the lavishness of a White House or a government building or an Air Force One or something like that, what that does is gets everyone else to ask, hey, wait a minute, how come Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton, who had basically no pennies to their name before they got into politics, suddenly got rich? How come they live so high on the hog? And that's exactly why they're furious. Because you have somebody here who's showing that it isn't their money and you're living as if you are a king. We don't want them carrying their own luggage in the airport, like Jimmy Carter tried to do once, by the way, and we don't want them running around like schleppers. I get it. But to have this sort of white glove treatment all the time that they don't deserve, and President Trump is showing that that's why they're angry, because he's paying for it and they never do.
F
You know, the Democrats, the part who railed against the party of elites have become the party of elites, right? I mean, just kind of interesting how that works out. But look, this is, this is pattern for them, right? I mean, if you look at what the whole Doge situation, right? Let's cut, you know, let's get down and cut some waste. In other words, you know, the taxpayer doesn't need to foot this and foot that. Oh, Democrats.
A
Well, hold on.
F
No, no, no, no. We need free stuff for everybody so we can A, live like elites and B, try to control the masses. I mean, that, you know, it's the same type of situation to me. This whole thing reminds me, honestly of a cartoon. Of course, you know, the famous cartoon Roadrunner. President Trump is in essence roadrunner, and the Democrats are Wile E. Coyote. I mean, that is in essence what this has been about for 10 years. I mean, it all comes down to that beep, beep, he's gone. They're like, wait a min. And then they fall all the way down off a cliff because they're one step behind Trump always. And Trump has always channeled the people. And it's kind of interesting in this coverage of the Ballroom. You look at the media's coverage of this in the media, the elite, the Democrats, one and the same. You look at it, they never talk about how this is not taxpayer funded. They never talk about it. As a matter of fact, quite frankly, it's not even just in CNN and abc, NBC, cbs. It's literally in the washing post articles. Where is the line at all that this will not be taxpayer funded money? Now what they do say is, you know, Trump is paying this with his, you know, you know, they'll get on his case because he's paying it with his golden age or excuse me, Gilded Age and golden age, I guess, billionaires and trillionaires. So they say that. So that's the dig. But they never actually say taxpayer money is not being used for this project. It's just interesting how they spin it, Jake.
A
Yeah. You know, and also the other angle that they're trying to pretend that they care about is like, oh, this is, this is defiling the White House for Hillary Clinton, whose husband defiled the White House with having a lurid affair with a woman less than half his age in the private presidential anti. You know, the kind of holy of holies of the White House. Not, not even the Oval Office, but that private room had the, had the chutzpah to say this is defiling the White House. It's just incredible. These people think that we're stupid and have short memories. Look, I don't need Prevagen yet. I can remember what happened with Bill Clinton in the White House. Anyway, we got American.
F
That was a hazmat situation, if you know what I'm saying.
A
Yeah. My goodness. All right, well anyway, we got American Sunrise, a big show coming up the next couple hours. I'll join you at around 9:20 there. American Sunrise, early edition on election Day, comes back tomorrow. Join us then. This is an iHeart podcast.
Episode Title: November 3, 2025
Host: Jake Novak | Guests: Mike Crispy, Emily Finn, David Brody
Date: November 3, 2025
This episode of American Sunrise Early Edition zooms in on the political battlegrounds ahead of Election Day, focusing on close governor races in New Jersey and Virginia, as well as the mayoral contest in New York City. It critically analyzes mainstream media narratives, explores the ongoing government shutdown and its impacts, and delves into stories about political elites, economic news, and cultural flashpoints—all through the Real America’s Voice ethos of "real news, honest views."
(00:35–12:18, 32:43–37:56)
“New Jersey is a very interesting state because nobody, Jake, was paying attention to it before President Trump brought this thing within 5 points in the 2024 election...Now Jack has the wind at his back. He has President Trump on his team. They're working together in lockstep.” (Mike Crispy, 03:50)
“Unfortunately, this city is about to implode because they are about to elect a radical communist...His nice guy act with the smiles and the selfie videos—it's all an act.”
“…that’s the elephant in the room when it comes to Barack Obama...here he is...campaigning...against a black woman who if she wins, would be the first black woman elected governor in America.”
(08:01, 09:21, 41:01)
“New York City is a Democrat city…Him [Zoran] winning this election, although very sad and alarming, it's not a surprise, it's not a rebuke, it's not a move for the Democrat Party.”
(10:59–14:43)
“It’s kind of amazing how Al Sharpton...what a fraud MSNBC is, what a fraud Barack Hussein Obama is...When they have a major party candidate in a winnable race...a black woman…it’s everything that somebody would celebrate…But we haven’t heard one word of that.”
(15:59–19:41; 37:56–41:01)
“Senate Democrats have voted 13 times to not reopen the government…It is extremely disappointing to see this from the Democrats.”
"It's your party that is refusing in the Senate...to vote for the continuing resolution." (Jake Tapper, 40:18)
(22:52–30:00, selected)
"AI isn’t like the old school downsizing...AI is coming for everyone. You better be ready for the double-edged sword of AI." (Jake Novak, 22:52)
(37:56–41:01)
Interviewer: "Have some of these raids gone too far?"
Trump: "No, I think they haven't gone far enough because we've been held back by...the liberal judges...You have to get the people out…Many of them are murderers." (Jake Novak reenacts, 37:56)
(44:41–49:15)
Novak and guest David Brody claim political elites—especially Democrats—are upset that Trump is self-funding White House upgrades, fearing it highlights how public funds usually bankroll their privileges.
Jake Novak (46:44):
"They live undeservedly like kings on the taxpayers' money...Trump is showing that that's why they're angry, because he's paying for it and they never do."
David Brody (47:07):
“Trump is in essence Roadrunner, and the Democrats are Wile E. Coyote...and Trump has always channeled the people.”
Media is accused of omitting the key point that no taxpayer money funds the ballroom construction, while the Democrats protest on dubious grounds.
Humorous jabs at Clinton-era scandals:
"For Hillary Clinton, whose husband defiled the White House… to say this is defiling the White House—it’s just incredible." (Jake Novak, 48:40)
On New York Mayoral Race:
"This city is about to implode because they are about to elect a radical communist...It’s really unfortunate that New Yorkers are about to go through with this."
— Mike Crispy (06:43)
On AI and Workforce Disruption:
"AI is coming for everyone. And...the people making the official announcements...at Amazon and Walmart...their jobs will also be eliminated."
— Jake Novak (22:52)
On Democratic Elites and Trump's Ballroom:
"If you have people in government who use their own money...it gets everyone else to ask, 'Hey, wait a minute, how come Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton...suddenly got rich?'"
— Jake Novak (46:44)
The episode is direct, combative, and irreverent—featuring pointed satire, frequent jabs at the media and political elites, and a clear populist-conservative lens. The mood mixes urgency about the electoral moment with humor and skepticism about both political and media establishments.
This American Sunrise Early Edition delivers a high-energy account of the coming Election Day, the perennial government shutdown drama, cultural battles, and inside takes on both political class optics and mainstream media. Jake Novak and his guests critique elite hypocrisy, warn of AI’s impact, and root for Republican upsets while emphasizing skepticism toward dominant narratives.
