Ahead on American Sunrise EARLY edition. Israel's army pulls out and Hamas comes right in to start mass public executions of their own people. And they did it in public. Look at this. But President Trump says Hamas will disarm Hamas or it will be disarmed. The U.S. china trade wars are blowing up again and the latest weapon is, wait for it, cooking oil. Laugh all you want, but just try living without it. Living is a lot easier when you're related to a crooked state attorney general. It appears one of the properties New York AG Letitia James, misrepresented on her many mortgage applications is home to not one, but two of her fugitive from justice relatives. Is this the news or a sitcom premise? Here's a story that will likely go national any minute now. A female security guard has been arrested after she allegedly shot a homeless man who spat on her and maybe even attacked her while she escorted him out of a downtown Philadelphia ihop. Is this an assault or another Daniel Penny situation? Stay tuned. And on what would have been his 32nd birthday, Charlie Kirk is honored by President Trump at the White House with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Meanwhile, the case to punish Kirk's assassin continues. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION starts now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY Edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. Your good deeds and bad deeds. That's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise Early EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. Good morning. I'M Jake Novak. Welcome to this Wednesday edition of American Sunrise. Early Edition. I think I have the name for the sitcom about Letitia James and that whole crew. They could call it the Shady Bunch. And they all live in that family, that house together, and they avoid parole officers and law enforcement. Anyway, welcome to again. Joining us now is Daily Signal columnist Jarrett Stetman. Jarrett, in all seriousness, we're seeing Hamas commit some pretty awful atrocities. They're not ashamed of it. Not only are they executing their own people in Gaza en masse, they're doing it in public. Then they're parading around with the dead bodies. You know, Jarrett, when I saw the videos yesterday, I thought, oh, here are some old videos of October 7th from a couple of years ago. Isn't it great now that that's over? But it actually was a new video of them driving around in Jeeps with bodies and parading them around. Hamas is about murder. And I'm wondering, Jarrett, where are all those people who were worried about the genocide of the Palestinian people? I guess they really don't care about them. Is that a leap of faith?
Jarrett Stetman
For me, no, that would not be a leap of faith. The protests have disappeared overnight. It's amazing that suddenly the UN has decided not to comment on, on this, this, this attacks on their own people. But I mean, this, this kind of behavior is, frankly, what we expect from Hamas. I mean, the original action that they took on October 7th was a barbaric act, and it's no surprise that they act the same way toward their own people. This is why, really, Gaza can't be an actual state. I think there's a reason why they, they have not been granted statehood and that President Trump was very firm in not allowing that, even though Democrats and liberals around the world have wanted that for a very long time. So I think they're just showing themselves for what they are. It's very clear that they've been a barbaric actor from the beginning, and they're just showing that. Now comes to the conclusion.
Jake Novak
Yeah, yeah. I don't want to interrupt, but let's, let's listen to President Trump, what he had to say when he was told about all this executions and shootings. Well, they're going to disarm and because.
David Brody
They said they were going to disarm, and if they don't disarm, we will disarm them.
Emily Finn
How will you do that?
Jake Novak
I don't have to explain that to you, but if they don't disarm, we will disarm them. Yeah. You know, and he's not going to tell you how they're going to do it. Well, they're being pretty obvious. I mean, they're driving around in the street. I got a feeling that drone strikes might happen the next time they drive around the street with a bunch of dead bodies of Palestinian people that they've killed. And somehow I don't think there's going to be any protests at Columbia or Harvard about this.
Jarrett Stetman
No, I certainly don't think so. It's, you know, again, it's, you know, this, this deal just came to a conclusion a few days ago, and it seems like they're. They're maybe even breaking some of the terms of it. They obviously, you know, can't abide by that. It does suggest maybe some trouble long term for this deal. If they can't even control themselves for just a few days after this thing, how can they be trusted in the future? So we'll see going forward. Obviously, there's a lot riding on this peace deal that President Trump has been very much a part of. And I do think, as you said, there will potentially be drone strikes. I mean, I don't think they're just going to let this go. And it could keep happening as the world watches. So the UN and other actors throughout the world who are so aggressive about this may stay silent, but I don't think President Trump will.
Jake Novak
All right, Jared, I have a confession to make. Now, I've got the jingle to my show in my head called the Shady Bunch about Letitia James. Here's the story of a crooked lady. I got the whole thing going. But honestly, all joking aside, as we learn more and more about this woman, we know that she has signed several fraudulent mortgage applications for years. I don't know what she means when she says she's gonna fight these allegations. It's her signature on phony mortgage applications with lies on them. I really don't know what you're gonna say that someone forced her to sign it. But now we're also finding that some of her relatives were, who are fugitives from justice without standing warrants against them, have been living in at least one of her properties. I mean, this is just incredible. You know, Jared, this is something I've been saying for many years. It's one thing for the political class to say we always can't always live above on a higher standard as everyone else, but she and so many others like them. By the way, Republicans, too, seem to demand to live below expectations of everyone else, seem to have a lower standard and demand a lower Standard. How dare we say that you should uphold the same laws we do. She should probably not have indicted President Trump on anything related to mortgages or actually anything at all. Maybe you should get your own house, or houses, I should say, in her case, in order.
Jarrett Stetman
Yeah, that's one of the remarkable aspects of that. She really decided to go through with this politicized case, given all these skeletons in her closet, or in this case, nieces who were evading the law, staying at a house that she had acquired, likely illegally. I mean, it's really the brazenness of this that's so incredible. Maybe that made sense a few years ago when she thought that there'd be no repercussions for her actions. It's interesting that even she said that when you acquire loans illegally like this, that you hurt working people. I mean, is she spending her career hurting working people? Is she doing that intentionally? I mean, it's really quite incredible. And it's, as I said, it's amazing that somebody with this kind of record wouldn't lay low at the very least. But, no, she decided to step right into this. She thought that she would face no consequences for her actions. And for those who say that this is just, oh, President Trump going after his enemies, well, I mean, one way or another, she made herself a very, very easy target, given what's. What's happening at that house.
Jake Novak
Yeah, I mean, look, folks, maybe she's being a little old school. My dad tells me that in the old days, they used to be personal columns in immigrant newspapers at the turn of the century, believe it or not. And they wouldn't say, hey, I'm this age, I'm attractive, or whatever. They would say something like four apartment houses in the Bronx is looking for a husband. So maybe that's what Letitia James is trying to do, because I know she's single. Maybe she's six houses with some, you know, problematic relatives are looking for a husband. All right, Jarrett. The resistance to President Trump has gone from aggressive to annoying to now it's kind of pathetic. A number of US Cities are not going to run this message I'm about to show you. From Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, explaining why things might be going a little slower at the airports because those airports aren't showing it. I'm going to show it to you now. Check it out. Hi, I'm Kristi Noem, the United States Secretary of Homeland security. It is TSA's top priority to make sure that you have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience as possible. While we Keep you safe. However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government. And because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay. We will continue to do all that we can to avoid delays that will impact your travel. And our hope is that Democrats will soon recognize the importance of opening the government. You know, Jarrett, the mixed messaging on this shutdown from the Democrats is like a paper that someone wrote for a logic class that got an F minus on it. They start their messaging by saying, this is President Trump's shutdown. The shutdown is terrible. And then in the same message, they say, isn't it great that we're shutting down the government to fight down Trump? To fight President Trump? I mean, Chuck Schumer literally put out a video like this. And this is their big resistance. They're not gonna play that message at the airport. Wow. Talk about striking a blow for mankind. These people are pathetic.
Jarrett Stetman
Yeah, I've never really seen the Democrat Party as a whole been in such dysfunctional mode. I mean, usually their messaging is pretty, pretty airtight with these kind of battles. They see these as victor for them, these government shutdowns. But I think this one's really going kind of haywire because they have to feed their own base this message that they're fighting President Trump, they're fighting Republicans. But, you know, at the same time, what exactly are they fighting? I mean, they've really caused this problem themselves. I saw Schumer put out something, say, well, you know, Republicans own Congress, they own the presidency. But as if he doesn't understand that Democrats have the filibuster. You have to get to two thirds to get anything through. It's like he thinks that you're stupid for not understanding the rules of the Senate. So I think their messaging has been bad from the beginning. Obviously, they think that they're going to. They're going to have some benefits going forward. But this, I think, actually just highlights the dysfunction of the modern Democratic Party. They just can't even get their messaging straight on something that used to be an easy win for them in the past. I don't think it is any longer. And I think President Trump and Republicans have very much and very easily turned this back around on them.
Jake Novak
Yeah, and here's the real litmus test. We're in day 14 of the shutdown, and even in the left wing press, the shutdown is very often, for most of those 14 days, hasn't been the top story. So that's another huge fail for them. Most people aren't even talking about this. And that's really, really gotta be bothering them. Jarrett, you have a new piece out in the Daily Signal about Canada and how, of course, they made euthanasia not only legal, but they started to frankly encourage it. And I have personal experience with this. But now you say they're moving from euthanasia into full on organ harvesting territory. Tell us a little bit about that.
Jarrett Stetman
Yeah, it was a story that didn't get a lot of commentary last month of a man in America actually received a heart from somebody who had killed himself. Really state assisted suicide. And the story was celebrated like, wow, look, isn't this a wonderful thing? But you can see obviously the pressure now in that system to start having people who have health problems essentially off themselves to give organs to other healthy people. I think it's a very disturbing thing, especially with the explosion now in assisted suicide in Canada makes up in many areas 5% of total deaths. I mean, it surpasses things like heart disease and other major diseases. So I think that in Canada you see this hurdling towards something that's incredibly disturbing dystopian, especially when you have the state involved in suicide. There's enormous pressure now to put people to essentially all people, especially people who may be considered a liability to the government. Instead of paying their medical bills, they're just going to have them killed and send their organs to other functioning people. It's, I think, an incredibly disturbing thing. We have a little bit of this in the United States, but haven't gone as far as Canada has. And I think it very much serves as a warning to the Western countries that this comes at an incredible cost.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And I can tell you they're pushing certain patients, especially of a certain age, to sign papers for euthanasia. A lot of times when they're not really of sound mind. I can tell you this. It's going on. It's really, really scary. And this is the inevitable end for a lot of people on socialized medicine. Don't fool yourselves. Jared Stetman, thank you so much for joining us. Have a great rest of your week.
Jarrett Stetman
Thank you, Jake.
Jake Novak
Coming up, there's a story out of Philadelphia that you may not have heard, but you will soon. I'll have it for you just ahead. And you do know this is a story you do know about the Charlie Kirk Medal of Freedom ceremony. We'll discuss that as well when American Sunrise EARLY EDITION comes right back.

Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again. Cause more people are listening to the radio on iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio where the reach is real. Jarrett Stetman
Well, well, well.
Jake Novak
Suddenly the straight path back to the super bowl. Not happening for the Eagles necessarily. Although listen, the whole league is up for grabs. It feels like right now they're. Wow, Philadelphia. I think that by now they would have a little bit more traffic. It is after 7:00am welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition. I'm Jake Novak. Special thank you to those of you who are up and commenting. Unlike the people of Philadelphia who are awake and commenting on Getter and Rumble and on Substack and on X. I read all those comments. Thank you so much. Hey, I don't usually do this, but I'm predicting that the following local story in Philadelphia will become a national story pretty soon. A 36 year old security guard named Yahira Melendez has been charged with murder. As she and her fellow security guards were dragging out a belligerent scary, frightening, dangerous homeless man out of an IHOP in Center City city, Philadelphia. By the way, that's, that's the fancy part of town. I mean, granted, it's, it's a downtown, but still, real estate prices there aren't cheap. They were dragging him out and according to some witnesses, the, the man spat at the female security guard, Melendez may have done some other things, may have done something, maybe, probably lunged at her gun. That's another report I'm hearing, not official yet. She shot him and killed him and now they've charged her with murder. Now, whether this is going to turn out as we join. Emily Finn joins us, Real America's Voice contributor. Now, whether they end up finding out that this is a Daniel Penny like situation, maybe this woman saved other lives, or it's just another case of an example of what President Trump and the rest of us have been talking about. These downtown areas have become dangerous no matter how fancy they are, no matter how high rent they are. And this situation should never have been in place in the first place. If you had a city and a police department that was allowed to arrest and keep people like this either in jail or a mental facility.
Emily Finn
Absolutely, Jake. We are so overdue for the crackdown on crime in major cities all over the country. And thank God the Trump administration is doing something to address it. But you know, in this situation, you gotta wait until the full investigation plays out, until you have all the details, until you see, you know, what actually happened. Same thing with Daniel Penny. And I think so many people jumped to conclusions with that one and tried to say that he was in the wrong. But once you actually saw the video and once you actually saw everything that happened, it told a completely different story. So to your point, Jake, Yes. The bigger picture here is the crime problem that we're seeing all over the country. And we do need to address this because security guards, officers should never be in a position where they even feel like this is an option, that they have to use force like this to be able to keep themselves and the people around them safe, which is their job.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And I can tell you something. These private security guards who work at stores and at restaurants, they are not trigger happy. I mean, I can't think of very many cases where there's been a shooting like this in any major city. And believe me, there have been opportunities. People might say, well, I remember this story. That's what I remember. These are cities of millions of people. If you remember even two, it's still a drop in the bucket. I'm telling you that these people are usually very reserved. My bet is that there's going to be something much more to this story. Maybe again, perhaps a lunging at a gun, perhaps something a lot more volatile than just than something that's being reported right now. A bittersweet story, of course, to talk about. Now, many of our viewers I know watched late yesterday afternoon, President Trump hosting the Medal of Freedom ceremony for Charlie Kirk would have been his 32nd birthday yesterday. And you know, Emily, what I'm seeing now is something really interesting, the response to his assassination. To me, it seems like, and I don't think I'm being a Pollyanna about this, it seems that usually when there's an assassination, the response is usually rage or absolute despair. And I'm just not seeing that here. There's sadness for sure. But, you know, yesterday I talked about the tremendous surge in TP USA chapter signups. I'm wondering if you're seeing it on your end also. Like, I'm really not seeing inaction or rage. I'm really seeing action and more motivation.
Emily Finn
Really. The only rage and the only negative emotions that you're seeing are from the other side, Jake. You're seeing people that are celebrating the violence. You're seeing people that are trying to inspire more of this and trying to say that it was no big deal, that it was ok. That's the problem. You know, I think that it's great to see, as you said, with assassination, assassinations in this country in the past, it has definitely inspired some uprisings, some, some civil unrest. And you're not seeing that at all with Charlie Kirk. And I think that's an ultimate testament to who he was as a human being and what he stood for in his Christian values, his support for Jesus Christ and living biblical values every day. And I think that that is what should be the biggest takeaway from this. And it's great that the White House and President Trump was able to honor him in that way. And I will say we see Erica on the screen right now, Charlie Kirk's wife. I thought she did a phenomenal job and she's been extraordinarily strong keeping everything together since this horrible tragedy.
Jake Novak
Emily Finn, thank you so much for joining us. I really appreciate your comments. Glad to have you back after your whirlwind world tour. You should definitely have like a where in the world is Emily Finn? Account on something like that. I like it.
Emily Finn
That's fun. Thanks, Jake.
Jake Novak
Okay. All right, coming up, when people put real skin in the game, it's More than just talk and a lot of skin is going into a project that could make a lot of economic and political impact. I'll explain when American Sunrise Early Edition comes right back.

It's a live look at a beautiful Brooklyn. That's Coney island, as you can see. The parachute jump, all the fun Adventureland rides there. In Coney island, there's an old joke about how During World War II, there were German submarines that were secretly just off the water in Coney, just off the beach in Coney island, but they sank because of the pollution. Just kidding. All right, let's take a look where the markets will begin today. It has been a volatile few days on the stock exchanges. Big arrows upward this morning. Yesterday we had big arrows downward. Then the markets completely went up and had a big rally, and then they ended up mixed for the day. So we're all over the place. And this is because of the whole tariff battle that's been going back and forth and the fight between the US And China. I'll talk about that a little bit more in a second about the specific area that they're fighting over. But now President Trump is threatening to withhold, have an embargo, not send American cooking oil to China. And they really need cooking oil over there. You can laugh all you want, but cooking without cooking oil really stinks, by the way. So that's the latest, but the markets don't seem to be panicking too much about that. But it has been a seesaw. Make sure you check it out, because as the day goes on, things really shift really wildly. All right, let's talk a little bit about where we are right now. The continuing dispute between the US And China right now is really centered on not really cooking oil. It's centered on rare earths. You know, I had a guest on this program yesterday who reminded us that those minerals and metals actually aren't all that rare. There's nothing really rare about them. It's just that it's really hard to get them out of the earth. There's a lot of them. It's just the mining of it is expensive and takes some time. Now because the President Trump is looking to boost the US Mining projects, mining companies that mine rare earths and get them going faster. Shares in those companies have really been moving higher just in the last few days. In the last five days, I'm going to name three of these companies. So you know about them. One company is called U.S. rare Earth. Its stock ticker symbol is USAR. Its shares are up 33% over the last five days. Energy Fuels, its stock ticker symbol is UU4USE. It's up 49% in the last five days. And MP Materials stock ticker symbol MP is also up 33% over the last 5 days. Don't know if that's going to continue going higher. But these mining companies usually are very cheap. Their stocks don't trade for a lot of money, but they can be volatile, as you can see. But people who put their money into it about a week ago are feeling pretty happy right now. Hey, there's a very encouraging development I want to tell you back about on the energy front.
Mark Lynch
ARM.
Jake Novak
Energy ARM is moving forward with a $2.3 billion natural gas pipeline in Southeast Texas. It's a Houston Based company, of course, its financial partner, Pacific Investment Management Co. They are backing, getting together and backing a 236 mile Mustang Express pipeline. That's what it's called. Now the pipeline is projected to Transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas every single day from the Bay City area to the LNG liquefied natural gas export hub in Port Arthur. Why is this important? Because the United States has a lot of natural gas and we do a really good job of turning into the liquefied version of it that can easily be shipped overseas. We can ship it to places like Eastern Europe, hello, Vladimir Putin. We can ship it all over the world. And it's cheaper energy than a lot of these countries are dealing with now. And a lot of these countries not just pay too much for that kind of stuff, but they end up having to give political power to the countries that supply energy to them. This is a really big opportunity for an expanded energy industry here in the United States and one that is relatively much, much cleaner than petroleum and of course cleaner than coal. So all you greenies out there, this is about half of the emissions of those other kinds of fuels. So this should make everybody happy, which is why the Democrats are against it. Remember, Joe Biden basically tried to shut this down. But anyway, this is a great development. A lot of money going into a new pipeline and that would really get things going for us. Speaking of pipelines, Boeing delivered in their Pipeline 55 aircraft in September to their buyers. That's the most in any month for them since 2018. Now this come as production is getting better at Boeing. After a host of safety and production prices. Price problems have been solved. They've gotten over that over there. Now the CEO says that the company is going to increase 737 max production. I told you about that last week. They're going to get the 737 Maxes to 42amonth off the assembly line. That's a lot of planes. So that's going to be about from the end of the year. Boeing shares, by the way, are up 44% from a year ago today. So that's another good investment you could have made a year ago. All right, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Moving America. The company been reporting on this program for months now that gm, Ford, all the European carmakers, they're still going to make EVs, but they're going to cut back. Well, cutting back, it doesn't come for free. They need to repurpose factories. They need to buy different supplies and the whole nine yards. Well, GM told us just now that in their next earnings report, which is coming out next week, there is going to be a $1.6 billion charge against their profits, against their earnings because of this retrenchment. This is all about following trends and not about following the market. They looked at Joe Biden, they looked at the Democrats, and they thought, well, they're gonna make us make electric cars. We might as well do it. We might as well not only spend the money to make them, but spend tons of money with commercials all over the place, which are still running, by the way. I feel like 90% of car ads today are about EVs, which is driving me nuts. You want to make EVs, fine. But stop talking about it like it's the only car you make anyway. That's costing them a lot of money in advertising and in the whole changing of the guard that they're going to have to do now at their own factories. $1.6 billion in this earnings report. There's probably going to be another charge in their next earnings report. This is what happens when you listen to politicians like Joe Biden and not the markets and not your actual customers. All right, now to the continuing fallout at Ford from that terrible aluminum factory fire I showed you last week and the week before, I believe as well in the Novellas plant in Oswego, New York, that was Ford's number one aluminum supplier. Now, I told you a couple of days ago that analysts expect that to cost Ford a billion dollars. I think it's going to cost them a lot more because Ford just told us that production on at least five of their models, including the very popular Lincoln Navigator and the Ford Expedition, is now on hold. They're not making any of those cars for now. This might just be only for a couple of days, but my goodness, I can't believe that they're going to stop production on five of their models, including the Navigator and the Expedition, and it's only going to cost them a billion dollars. This is not good news. And of course Ford shares in the stock market are taking a beating over this. This is not Ford's fault. This is a fire at an aluminum plant. Just, it's one of those things. But some people would say it is a little bit Ford's fault because they went too heavily into Aluminum about 10 years ago. And then if you remember, there was a little bit of protest over that. They did it for fuel efficiency. Aluminum takes is a little bit lighter. And so of course it doesn't take as much gasoline to move an aluminum vehicle. A lot of people were complaining about that. So maybe it is Ford's fault, but it is something that they're paying for right now. Okay, there's more proof now of my prediction that within five years off road vehicles, vehicles with off road capacity and capability are going to outsell EVs within five years. Because there's another, yet another carmaker that's moving in that direction. This time it's Mitsubishi, which now says it will make an even more rugged version of the Outlander. Not the Outback, the Outlander suv. And they're going to give it more off road capabilities. It will not be an ev, by the way. There were some rumors that it would be an ev. Nope. It's just going to be an off road, gas powered vehicle. And like I said, in a few years this is going to be much more dominant than EVs. Will that be something they put in all their commercials? I don't know, but this is where things are going. But speaking of EVs, all the data shows from a number of different organizations coming out recently that men guys are twice as likely to buy a new EV than a woman. Now that's despite the fact that women consistently poll ahead of men on environmental concerns. So you would think that women would buy EVs more than men, but that's not the case.
Leon Neyfak
Why?
Jake Novak
Well, they talked to some psychologists about this and they think the reason why men are more likely to buy EVs is because men are more likely to buy something that is an untested new piece of technology. In other words, we're a little stupid. No, just kidding. I love your adventurous spirit, guys. But listen, folks, EVs are not the way to go for everyone. I think that there's a small niche in the American market that EVs make sense for. But for guys to buy EVs at this higher rate makes no sense. They shouldn't be doing that. Okay, coming up, crime is becoming a bigger issue in America. We've been talking about it already. This morning. And there is something different about it, though. The discussion about crime has changed, even for the left in America right now. We're going to talk to someone about that who's running for office in South Carolina where they've had some mass shootings lately. American Sunrise, early Edition. We'll be right back.

It's Wednesday, October 15th. Here are this morning's top stories. Israel pulls out and Hamas comes right back in and starts mass public executions of their own people. The President Trump says Hamas will disarm or it will be disarmed. I'm thinking drone strikes. How about you? The US China trade wars are blowing up again. They're fighting about rare earths, but the latest weapon the US Is going to use against China is. Wait for it, cooking oil. Hey, laugh all you want, but just try living without cooking oil. I don't want that. Living is a lot easier when you're related to a crooked state attorney general. It appears one of the properties that New York AG Letitia James misrepresented on her many mortgage applications is home to not one, but two of her fugitive from justice relatives. Is this the news or a sitcom premise? By the way, the sitcom title would be the Shady Bunch. And on what would have been his 32nd birthday, Charlie Kirk is honored by President Trump at the White House with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Meanwhile, the case does punish Kirk's assassin continues and so do the rising number of TPUSA chapters in America. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION continues now. Welcome back to American Sunrise EARLY Edition. If you were here at the beginning of the hour, you saw the genesis of the new hit sitcom I just came up with in my mind. I got to get a treatment ready and send it out to all the big networks. It's called the Shady Bunch. It's about Letitia James and all of her extended family members who are fugitives from justice living in her many illegal mortgage obtained homes. I think this is a good chance. I don't know whether we'll need a single camera, whether we're gonna need a laugh track, whether we should shoot this in front of a live audience. Anyway, send me your thoughts on Getter, but the name of the show is the Shady Bunch and I'm gonna trademark that. I wanna spend some time, though, focusing on something a lot more serious when it comes to crime, much more violent crime. And helping us to do that now is US Senate candidate from the great state of South Carolina, Mark Lynch. Sir, you had a mass shooting in your state just this past weekend. Before we get into some of the politics of it, can you tell us a little bit more about it and your reaction to it? I think this is the second one in the last month or so in South Carolina.
Mark Lynch
Yeah, I think these are, you know, individuals, gangs fighting against each other. And, you know, we're cracking down on crime in our state, but it's time to bust these things up and get them arrested and get them off the streets. You know, we've had a problem in our state because our senators and the state house can appoint judges and that's a conflict of interest big time. And, you know, we had a beautiful young lady, Logan Federico, that was murdered by a criminal who had 39 prior arrests, 25 of those were felony charges. And a judge, Bentley Price, let Him back out again, like, you know, catch and releasing small fish or something, letting them right back out. And then this young, beautiful girl was murdered in her apartment. And the judge had knowledge of this, this felony's prior history of arrest. And, you know, he's a lenient judge. And our senators, when they chose and confirmed him, again knew that. And so we've got a problem because these people shouldn't even be out. They should be in prison serving their time for past charges. And we're just allowing these, these shootings and crimes to happen.
Jake Novak
You know, this is incredible. This is a nationwide story, what you just described. Judges letting career criminals out on the streets. You think this is a blue state problem, but as you described, it's also a red state problem. And of course, you're neighbored in the north with that very famous killing now of Irina Zarutska by a guy who had 17 or something like that. More than that arrest, violent arrest. And we just found out, by the way, that the magistrate, the magistrate who let him go wasn't even a North Carolina resident, was illegally basically in that position as a magistrate. She's a legal resident of Michigan or something. An incredible story that I'm going to be continuing to follow. And there's another story I'd love for you to comment on. I know it's not your state, but this is similar to what you're talking about here. This is this story out of Philadelphia. A security guard in an IHOP taking out a violent homeless man. The word homeless to me is really is overused. These are mentally ill people. The fact that they're not living in a permanent residence is incidental. The fact that they're violent, mentally ill people, that's the issue. And she ended up shooting this man. According to witnesses, she's been charged. But this is the whole thing. It's not about what she did in that moment. It's about the fact that there are these people out on the streets and we just walk around thinking like this is normal. In what kind of compassionate society do we say, well, we're not gonna put them in jail. It's better to put them out on the streets. That's not compassion. That's actually less compassionate, Right?
Mark Lynch
And you know, and we've got, from our invasion, we've had with our borders open all through the years, terrorists and illegal aliens are everywhere. And I'm so thankful Tom Homan's, you know, deporting these people. And it's going to take years and millions, trillions of dollars to get our country Cleaned up from all the massive invasion of people that shouldn't be here. They're the dregs of society from Mexico and other countries that we've allowed to come in here and drug cartels and terrorists and that's who's out here increasing our homeless population. They're desperate people, they're thugs, they're violent criminals that we've let in our country. And you know, Biden and his regime by not closing the border wall are to blame for this. And that's a treasonous thing. You know, they signed an oath to protect our country against foreign or domestic enemies. And we've let them walk in here. And so we've got a massive cleanup operation going on. And I applaud Trump, who in cities that have been taken over and they're sanctuary cities of antifa and Black Lives Matter leaders that are communist Islamic cooperatively organizations working together to destroy our country. I applaud him for sending federal troops in to get peace restored for the citizens that are true Americans.
Jake Novak
You know, it's interesting that you mentioned troops because I want to get to your race in South Carolina against Lindsey Graham, the incumbent Republican senator there, who is of course always all about foreign policy and the military in foreign wars and things like that. I haven't heard him comment too extensively about not only what you talked about there, the National Guard troops in some of our crime ridden areas in America, but also, by the way, this new battle that's going on against the drug cartels. The United States blew up yet another drug boat the other day, actually yesterday, or at least the video was released yesterday. And we're learning more about that. Look, the idea that the US Military can't be used to protect our borders, this is, this is not an episode of Miami Vice. These, these aren't drug dealers who are looking to get a Ferrari and go to a nightclub in my on south beach and make a lot of money. These are fentanyl and other types of groups coming from China. The ingredients coming from China. This is actually being done to kill. This is not to create a clientele. They're trying to kill people, literally. This is an invasion of a lethal substance and it's not a lot of money to be made from it. By the way, this isn't like the cocaine trade. So I'd love for you to talk about how that can become an issue in your race and how Lindsey needs to look a little bit closer to his borders instead of what's going on in Ukraine and things like that.
Mark Lynch
Yeah, you know, that's definitely a form of war and an attack on America. You know, back in the 80s, there was a documentary that Jacques Cousteau put out called the Snowfall in the Jungle. You know, he had an underwater exploration TV show, and it was awesome. They had their boats off the coast of South America back then, and they started getting harassed by drug trafficking boats, saying, you're in our waters and you need to get the calypso out of here. The ship that they were on doing their underwater exploration. And they. They took a break and studied history. And they brought up the fact that, you know, a thousand years ago, or whatever, the British were importing opium into China to take their country over. It was a method of warfare. And the President of China realized what had happened, and he spoke to his people and said, our country's asleep. And they've made it a mandatory penalty of death if any of their citizens were caught with drugs because their country was being taken over slowly with heroin and opiates. And they interviewed the cocaine growers down in South America, and they said, yep, the war is on. Our cultural drug, cocaine, we're shipping into America on purpose to overthrow it, because America is destroying our country with their imperialism, and we're going to destroy theirs with our. Our cultural drug, cocaine. The war is on. And so, you know, but fentanyl is different. Absolutely. They're not making a lot of money with it. It's just. It's just a method of warfare to kill Americans. And, you know, our. Our President Trump understands that, and he's stopping that the way he is, and we. We need to. We need to stop it. Our. Our children are our greatest assets in this country. And it's just. They're all about killing the children. It's not about having fun or partying. It's about killing our people. And so we got to bring it back to them, and we've got to stop it and resist this at whatever level it takes.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And I have to underline something that I've been saying for many weeks now. The fact is that we're also being incredibly open and transparent about this. You know, Tom Clancy wrote a famous book, Clear and Present Danger, Fictional Situation, about a president who was doing all these things against the drug cartels in South America, but secretly and illegally, because it wasn't told to the American public. This is already the most accountable and transparent president of all time. He tells. Not only does he tell us what he's doing, he tells us what he's thinking all the time. And some people think he should stop doing that. But all joking aside, this is incredibly transparent, sir. This is absolutely something that the president is telling us. And as long as that's the case, I'm fine with that. Wanted to ask you one more question, though, about Lindsey Graham, because this is an interesting issue that a lot of people don't talk about enough. When there's a campaign against an incumbent, the argument for an incumbent, however bad they might be sometimes, is like, well, he or she has a lot of seniority. They can get a lot more things for our state. Maybe we'll swallow this guy for another few years. But you know what? I'm noticing that Lindsey Graham, who seemed to be a much more influential senator during President Trump's first term, he seems to be much more like a backbencher right now. I don't know if you're getting your money's worth out of this guy anymore.
Mark Lynch
No. And Jake, he's. He's a senior imposter. He's a senior at treason. He's a. He's a senior authority at doing everything that's opposite of what I would do. And he's. He's a senior at being good at everything, Lindsay first instead of America first. And so he's really too entrenched in the network of evil in our country. And he's coming back to the right now like he's a good Republican and he's going to honor his oath and defend America and all these things. He's talking all the right stuff, but he doesn't do it. And everybody knows that. And our polling showed that 60% of South Carolinians are ready for a businessman, not a career politician, and definitely not another attorney. And 57% of South Carolinians said they would never vote for him again because they're onto his games. They've seen the patterns. They know he's lying, and he's just moving to the right now that he's got a viable challenger to take him out. And they're tired of that. And the biggest thing we hear all the time is we need term limits. And I'm for that because he's been in there over 30 years. And if that alone was all there was, it's time to change them out and get somebody fresh that comes in with new ideas and a new vision for the state and for America. That'll be America first and be a true conservative Republican. That's what our state demands, and that's what they're going to get with me.
Jake Novak
All right, Mark lynch from South Carolina running for US Senate we're going to check back in with you in a few more weeks. Thank you so much for joining us.
Mark Lynch
Thank you. Thank you, Jake.
Jake Novak

Oh, we never get this look at the White House in the morning. This is a nice shot with a little sun, a little shade, side view of the White House. Nice. Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition. During the break, I've been singing the theme to the Shady Bunch about Tish. James. Full disclosure. There are three separate studies that have just come out in recent months and weeks and days showing that the number of young people in the United States identifying as transgender is in an absolute free fall, which isn't something that should happen. If this is just a natural thing. A certain percentage of people who believe that they were born into the wrong body, that shouldn't have anything to do with trends or fads. It shouldn't go up or down in crazy numbers. But it is, because as I bring in David Brody right now, because as I think a lot of people understand, this was a fad that was pushed on our youth in America by politicians, certainly by celebrities, including some of the celebrities who suddenly had three or four transgender children in one family. I mean, it was just obviously something that they were pushing on these children. It was a form of child sacrifice, David, which I still say is in our DNA from our pagan era as humans. And I'm happy to see it's going down a little bit because you are. You don't have a president who's pushing transgenderism. And it's a little bit less in the TV and cultural media right now. A little bit less. And I think that's. That's the only reason it's got Nothing to do with biology or anything else. Yeah.
David Brody
And who's doing the sacrificing? Let's be honest, it's the administrators, it's the teachers. Some of the teachers.
Jake Novak
It's.
David Brody
I say some, got to say some, of course, can't say all, obviously. And you've got selective parents as well. And so you're right. Let's be clear. We want these folks that are struggling with this and I say struggling with this. What is this exactly? You're talking about? It being a fad. I mean, you know, the struggle for over confusion is really what it is. They're being confused. Look, I mean, you know, you've obviously had high school kids, I've had high school kids. We know that many high school kids kind of like to kind of go along with the crowd. And that is a big part of this. And so I think part of the big problem here is that you can't make the case that this is scientific when. Wait for it, Jake. It's not scientific. I mean, the science here does not back any of this up. At best, the science is inconclusive. And that's at best, by the way. The point is, is that there is none of this going on. This is all just made up. And if you had scientific evidence to back it up, then you wouldn't see the dramatic drop. But the scientific evidence is just not there.
Jake Novak
Yeah, look, kids are anxious. Kids have issues. It's a way. Some of them felt like they were taking control of something by taking control of their gender. It wasn't any of those things. All right, the big show's coming up. American sunrise from 8 to 10. I'll join you in the 9am hour early edition comes back tomorrow. You know what your customers are doing right this second?
