Ahead on American Sunrise EARLY edition. Send in the cavalry. The federal appeals court rules President Trump can send the National Guard into Portland, Oregon. Of course, the state's attorney general is appealing the ruling. Trump, the peacemaker, is reportedly working to push Ukraine's President Zelensky to accept the territorial gains Russia has made in the war and call it a day. Colombia pushes back on President Trump's claims that President Gustavo Petro is basically a drug dealer. But will the tough talk eventually lead to a deal to curb the drug flow into this country? Now to the Middle east, where Vice President Vance has arrived to join US Peace negotiators in Israel after President Trump says Hamas will be eradicated unless it really lays down its arms. And as France remains on high alert looking for those Louvre jewel thieves, a new theory about who could be behind the heist is emerging, and it could be good news. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION begins now.

Down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. That's right, everyone. I'm going to say the Louvre because my mother is a French teacher and a French scholar for years. I'm not going to say the Louvre like Hoov. I'm still probably saying it wrong. But, you know, my mom's watching, so I got to be careful. We've got a lot of stories going on right now. I'm going to get right to them with one of our best guests comes and joins us every couple of weeks. Colonel Rob Manus. He's US Air Force retired, also the host of the Rob Manus Show. And Colonel, real quickly, we've talked about this a couple of times before, the use of the National Guard in some of these hot pot hotspot cities where things are just out of hand. And just after we spoke yesterday or texted yesterday, we got the ruling from the federal appeals court that the Trump administration can send troops into Portland, Oregon. Of course, there's going to be more appeals and things like that. But again, what's your feeling about this? You know, I don't think we want to see this all the time, but it sure seems like it's a better priority than sending troops over to someplace 3, 3 or 4,000 miles away or 14,000 miles away to me.
Colonel Rob Manes
Oh, it certainly is a better priority, Jake. And good morning. Look, you know, in a surprise to no one that has taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and read it, the commander in chief has this executive power and the judiciary does not have the power to stop him if the conditions are met. And the conditions have been met. The U.S. military National Guard being used for these types of activities is a long held precedent in this country. Both Democrat and Republican presidents have taken actions like this. And quite frankly, I think the folks that are the average citizens in these blue cities where crime is so rampant have had enough. And most of them are cheering it on. It's only the dumb Democrat politicians that are in office that want to continue to make their millions and millions of dollars. They must be profiting off of this, that want it to continue going so good on President Trump for continuing. And about time one of our courts made a good decision.
Jake Novak
Yeah. Can you imagine being a business owner in downtown Portland? Your business has been ruined, your life is endangered, and your local politicians literally are taking your tax money that you paid in order to stop the government in Washington from protecting you and maybe restoring your business. They're making you pay for your own destruction. That's worse than taxation with no representation. That's taxation for your own destruction. It's just incredible to me. So let's expand our constitutional knowledge down to south of our border and the fact that the United States now, and President Trump definitely putting its eye onto the nation of Colombia. We've been talking a lot about Venezuela, but of course, Colombia is kind of the granddaddy of hardcore drug industry. And in tandem with the government either joining in with it or at least turning a blind eye to it, they're all upset that President Trump has insulted Gustavo Petro, the president of Colombia, and they recalled their ambassador, the whole thing. But you know what this is. We've seen this play before, haven't we, Colonel? President Trump says something that's insulting to somebody, like he did with the NATO countries, and eventually they realized it got a lot of attention to something that's very clear to everyone that needs to be done. I think that that's the scenario that could happen here. We could actually see the Colombian government embarrassed into doing a little bit more of the right thing.
Colonel Rob Manes
Well, and that's the issue here. It's the same issue with Mexico, by the way, and I can't wait till he takes them on. And that is the governments that are in these countries aren't doing anything to stop the drug trafficking to the United States of America. And they live off of billions and billions of our tax dollars that we subsidize them with. So enough is enough. The President has demonstrated this is a very serious issue. We lose nearly 100,000Americans a year just to fentanyl. That is more than we've lost in any of our wars. This is a direct attack on the American people, has been going on for far too long. Even our own government at times has been involved in getting drugs into this country and killing American kids. And it's time to end it. I'm glad to see he's taken guys like Petro on and calling them out and shaming them, hopefully into starting to do the right thing.
Jake Novak
Yeah, and publicly I keep saying this. You know, everyone is getting upset about this. This is, again, the most accountable president we've had in American history. I'm not saying that he wants everyone to scrutinize him, every little thing that he does, but he's so open, and he tells us what he's thinking. And some people think that he shouldn't do that all the time.
Ammon Blair
And.
Jake Novak
But this is all out in the open. This is not some kind of covert operation, a black opera. I mean, it's really very open to the American people. And that, to me, is the key difference in all this. Okay, we're jumping all over the globe now. Let's go to the Middle East. Vice President Vance has just arrived in Israel. He's joining that negotiating team of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. And that comes right after President Trump made this threat to the Hamas holdouts. Listen to this. When you say we are going to eradicate Hamas, who is we?
Emily Finn
Does that include American boots on the ground?
Jake Novak
No, it won't be on the ground at all. Need to, because we have many countries.
Colonel Rob Manes
As you know, signed on to this deal. The way I view it, 59 countries and unanimous. There's never been. Nobody ever believed those countries that four.
Jake Novak
Months ago didn't like each other and now they're all aligned together. I mean, we've had countries calling me.
Colonel Rob Manes
When they saw the. Some of the killing with Hamas, saying.
Jake Novak
We'D love to go in and take.
Colonel Rob Manes
Care of the situation ourselves.
Jake Novak
And in addition, you have Israel would go in in two minutes.
Colonel Rob Manes
If I asked him to go in.
Jake Novak
I could tell him go in and take care of it.
Colonel Rob Manes
But right now, we haven't said that.
Jake Novak
We'Re going to give it a little.
Colonel Rob Manes
Chance, and hopefully there will be A little less violence.
Jake Novak
Colonel, you know my favorite part of that comment? No U.S. troops going to do it. It's amazing that there's people volunteering, other nations volunteering to do this. That to me could really be the most exciting development. I mean, can you imagine, Colonel, troops from Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world by population, going in and showing these Arab Muslims how to do it, how to be a little bit more sane. That that to me would be a heck of a development and a good one.
Colonel Rob Manes
Now that would make this unique and and outlier event which is going to be is why is successful is all these Arab countries and other Muslim countries have weighed in and signed up to support this peace deal. And apparently more than one of them have signed up to use force, if necessary, against Hamas. And I think that is what is the most uniquely successful part of this agreement that President Trump and his team have managed to put together beyond once the miracle of getting the live hostages back. This is the best part of it because the United States doesn't need boots on the ground there. We have long standing intelligence sharing relationships and training, relationship and equipment relationships with the military forces in the Arab nations right around there. And it's a great opening for countries like Indonesia. I think that's a brilliant idea. Have the Indonesians come in to support. Look, I went to the Navy War College and one of my classmates was an Indonesian naval fighter pilot, was a great guy. They're highly professional. Would love to see them come in and take Hamas out completely. So Israel and the United States aren't forced to do that. And I think that's what's going to make this ultimately successful. They're going to see that if they have any sense left whatsoever in the Hamas Nazi crowd and say, we don't have an option to continue to win this.
Jake Novak
Yeah, the Nazi influence on groups like Hamas, which is very direct and very well documented, when people call them Islamo Nazis, they're absolutely right on target. Well, that didn't spread to countries like Indonesia 100 years ago. And that's really good news. Let's talk about the Russia, Ukraine war, because reports say that President Trump has told Zelensky, look, the territory that Russia's captured, you're not getting it back. And we're not going to sacrifice more billions and lives of other people to try to get it back for you. Take this deal as it is now, take the map as it is now and call it a day. I have a feeling that Zelensky at the end of the day might accept that. But I don't know if Putin can be pacified in this way. But I don't know what are our chances that this would work, because I don't have a lot of hope on this one.
Colonel Rob Manes
I think this is the exact path and nobody should be surprised by it. We've been talking about this for over a year now. That President Trump telling Zelensky and telling Putin it's time to end it is one thing that. But getting them both to get their ink on the document and stop shooting at each other and stabilize their forces positions is another. It's going to take personal intervention by the President of the United States with Vladimir Putin especially. And then in this case, it was with Zelensky. Again, nobody should be surprised. I think there was the Europeans and Zelensky thought they had an opening to return back to the regular US Way of doing business, where we're just going to support you because we love freedom, that kind of stuff. But really the reality is, is that it's not going to stop until Zelinsky gives up and says, okay, you can have the land that you've already taken. Let's talk about this small piece in the Donetsk area and see if we can find a way to give you that and then we'll settle and we'll have some type of monitoring agreement.
Jake Novak
Yeah, someone's have to swallow something real quickly. Colonel, I saw that you posted something on this incredible story about how Gavin Newsom was protesting the military maneuvers that were going over the highways, the freeways, I should say, in California. And it turns out that the LA Times had a story already all ready to go about how a shell exploded over the freeway. It actually didn't happen, but they ran it the day before it actually happened or they were ready to run it. I mean, this is just incredible. There is absolutely no dedication or interest in the truth in the mainstream media anymore. And the LA Times has that new owner who was supposed to get it in line. This is really an egregious thing and the evidence is all there. It's on paper.
Colonel Rob Manes
It's extremely egregious. And you know what the really bad part is, Jake? Is it. Is it, is it messes up the truth? Because there was something that happened and it needs to be investigated. And I think the Marines are investigating it with this piece of metal that hit a police officer's car. Hit is probably the wrong word. It touched it and scratched up the hood and the police officers found this piece of metal on there. So we need to find out what happened there. And if something happened with the Marines operations. But all of this, an artillery shell exploded above the Interstate 5 story is completely a hoax. And that gets people upset because a lot of people see that. They see the LA Times still and they go, oh, credibility. They're telling the truth. And that just grays up the area and makes it even harder to get to the facts so that if something unsafe did actually occur, it can be identified and prevented in the future.
Jake Novak
Yeah, that's right. I mean, you make up stories and then the real problems get ignored as well. Colonel Rob Manes, thank you so much for joining us. We'll speak to you soon. Have a great rest of your week. Thank you, Jay. Okay, coming up, the Amazon Web Services outage has really inconvenienced a lot of people and businesses, us included, by the way. But there's a deeper lesson in this story. Stay tuned for that. And is there a chance that the juuls stolen from the Louvre won't be destroyed? The plot thickens. Oh, I hope they don't get destroyed. Please. American Sunrise, early edition. We'll be right back.

The live look at Chicago, Illinois this morning. Very dark again as we get closer to winter, folks, it's just going to get darker in the morning. I apologize. You know how that goes. And everyone talks about daylight savings and how we might finally get rid of that entire policy, something I've been pushing for for, oh my God, 30 years. I really hope that happens. Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition, especially those of you on the Getter Chats, the Rumble chats. We're back on Rumble this morning. I'll talk a little bit more about the Amazon Web Services outage that caused problems with Rumble yesterday and a lot of other streamers. And thank you for commenting. By now you've heard, speaking of streamers, by now you've heard about how Jimmy Kimmel's ratings have gone right back down, actually lower than they were before the whole controversy where he blamed Charlie Kirk's own supporters for killing him. I mean, just an egregious moment, not funny, obviously, and certainly really, really hurtful at a time of extreme pain for a lot of people across this country. But now it gets worse. It turns out that Disney plus and Hulu suffered twice the number of cancellations that they usually suffer. In September, right when this was going on, people canceled their subscriptions. And by the way, that's what Wall street looks at the most these days when it comes to Disney. How are their streaming subscriptions going? Sometimes that's even more important than their profits or revenues overall. So Emily Finn joins us right now. ABC can talk all they want. They're doubling and tripling down to, by the way, Jimmy Kimmel did something else connected to the no Kings rally That had no humor in it. Also, over the, over the weekend or just before the weekend, this guy is unrepentant and he's costing his company a lot of money.
Emily Finn
Absolutely. At the end of the day, Jake, I don't think we need the clowns to get political. They just need to make us laugh. They don't have to be going there with those kinds of jokes. And it's going to continue to bleed that company money if, if he continues down this path. It's obviously not resonating with his audience. They had a bit of a dramatic moment pulling him off air for a bit and then bringing him back earlier year. So we'll see how this plays out. But really, the future of streaming services, the future of these kinds of platforms, it's. It's kind of like a la carte, right? You get to pick, do I want to subscribe to Disney, Do I want Hulu, Do I want Netflix? So I want these kind of services. And we're seeing this with Netflix right now as well, too, with Elon Musk coming out and trying to boycott some of the content on that platform. So I think that it's really going to come down to the consumer and these platforms might not exist anymore if they continue to. To push the type of content that the people don't want to see.
Jake Novak
Yeah, I'm going to offer a billion dollars worth of advice to all these comedians. Now, of course, you want to make jokes and talk about the politicians and the leaders of the day, but the way that you do that is you make fun of their idiosyncrasies, their hair, the way they dress, the way they speak. Take a look at some old Saturday Night Live episodes from the late 80s. When they did that, they didn't try to make policy comments and they certainly didn't try to attack the voters for those people. It's as simple as that. And also, let me. Here's a headline. Emily, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, even Greg Gutfield. They're not that they're not great political geniuses by far. In fact, some of them are really not that smart at all when it comes to politics. Stick to that kind of. I'm not saying you can't make fun of what the politicians are saying. They're easy to make fun of. But to go after the policies and their voters, you're not only is that not funny, but these people are not equipped mentally and intellectually to do that. I promise you, I've met all of them. They don't have that upstairs to do that kind of humor and it's hurting them, period.
Emily Finn
Completely agree with you here, Jake. I think that at the end of the day, these comedians need to understand that that is what they are comedians. They're not politicians. They're not here to sway anyone's way of thinking. They're here to make us laugh. And so if they get back to that, I think that comedy will be saved.
Jake Novak
Yeah. Listen, and there were some very smart comedians who could pull that off. Lenny Bruce was one of them. These people are no Lenny Bruce. As simple as that. All right. Emily Finn, thank you so much for joining us. We'll see you in the 8 to 10am hours on American Sunrise. Thank you.
Emily Finn
Always a pleasure. Thanks, Jake.
Jake Novak

That's a live shot of the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Very hard for me to say that, by the way, they're not a good team, let's just put it that way. Now I say that as a Jets fan, of course, I'm not. I'm not throwing stones at living in a glass house. But let's face it, the Raiders are not a good team. All these moves, it just can't get that organization straight. Used to be the best in the NFL at getting something out of nothing, but they don't do it now. Let's take a look at where the markets are going to begin today. And we're taking a look at that. We're starting with bitcoin there. Bitcoin's been really struggling. It's at 108,000. But let's take a look at where the Dow and the NASDAQ and those other indices. Yeah, as you can see, really dead flat. But we had a massive rally Yesterday, more than 500 points on the Dow when the day began, it didn't look like that was going to happen. Right now investors are just absolutely celebrating a number of things, not the least of which being Apple hitting an all time high. Everyone said that the Apple iPhones were, you know, basically going away. People weren't liking them that much, at least overseas, not here. And Apple is doing really well on that. So let's take. And then you see crude oil making a comeback. It was at the $56 level yesterday. It's back at 58, just barely. And gold taking a step back as well. Look at that. That's almost 2% drop on gold. But still, look at this. I mean, really close to the all time high and it's been soaring lately. 4281. Hey. When President Trump announced steel tariffs earlier this year, there were a lot, there was a lot of talk about how well this might help a company or two just a little bit. Well, it helped Cleveland Cliffs, a big steel company in Cleveland, a heck of a lot. Its Stock was up 22% just yesterday after it announced its earnings numbers, its profits and its sales from the June through September quarter of the year. Very, very strong numbers over the last Three months since then, you know, again, because Yesterday was up 22%. Over the last three months the stock is up 52%. And there's an added little bonus in in it for Cleveland Cliffs right now. Now that they don't have to worry so much about maybe the competition coming from overseas with steel, they've been able to expand their rare earths mining. You know, the steel companies have the kind of infrastructure to really get into that kind of mining as well. And as we've been talking about on this program, rare earths are not rare. Those metals and minerals coming out of the ground, there's a lot of it. It's just rare. To get the kind of infrastructure you need the mining equipment you need to get it out of the ground. So Cleveland Cliffs has got the investors really, really happy. Its stock is up again this morning in the pre market another couple of percentage points after that big jump yesterday. So they're going to keep those gains and that's great news for Cleveland Cliffs and the city of Cleveland. By the way, from downtown Cleveland, from the baseball stadium and the football stadium, you can see the Cleveland Cliffs steel mills. It's a big part of the city. It's not somewhere out on the outskirts where they can't be seen and looked at. All right, I am feeling a little bit better now about the fate of those precious jewels that were stolen from the Louvre on Sunday. Now here's the deal. They are now believing that, take a look at that they had a fire fighters like ladder that they used and other really high tech equipment. Now they're believing that maybe those thieves won't melt those jewels down because if they melt it down, they might as well just stolen from a Zales in your, in your local mall. They get the same price for the melted down metals and for the loose diamonds. So you might as well, you know, if they're going to go after these historic jewels. Now it really seems like there's a possibility that maybe a billionaire art collector, a rogue guy or something paid these people to do this. Now the bad news is is that of course they stole them. The good news is that billionaire wouldn't melt them down. That's really the issue right now. President Macron of France is promising that the jewels will be returned, promising that the thieves will be punished. I don't know how much his promises are worth, but let's hope that those are not melted down. And this new theory from criminologists that someone stole these for a private collection has me feeling a little bit better about the fate of these historical objects. All right, that Amazon Web Services outage yesterday, which really disrupted a lot of things. It disrupted the airlines, it disrupted a lot of the streaming services, including Rumble, by the way. So that's taken care of now. It seems to have been fixed. But there are a lot of people who are using this outage in the last 12 hours or so to note that Amazon has suffered what they call a brain drain. When Amazon demanded that all of their workers come back into the office four or even five days a week, a lot of these people who are the top people at Amazon, quit. They already had a lot of money. They knew they could get a job elsewhere where they could work from home. And when that happened, a couple of people as they walked out the door predicted that Amazon would suffer these kinds of outages more commonly. Now, they were a little bit late with their predictions. They predicted it would happen in 2024, so they were late. It happened, of course, this year in 2025, but still their predictions are generally accurate. Now, I am a big fan of working in an office and, you know, getting a couple of days here and there at home. I'm okay with that. But the big tech world, if you know any big tech workers, they are really, really, really dead set on not coming into offices. They don't like doing it. Amazon may have pushed that envelope a little too far. Let's see if they come crawling back to some of those folks that they pushed out and promise them an opportunity to work from home as many days as they want because yesterday's outage was ugly. It's taken less than six months for the Indiana Department of Transportation cameras to catch more than 168,000 drivers for supposedly speeding through construction zones. Now, most of the first offenders in this dragnet have been given just a warning, but everyone else gets dinged for anywhere between 75 and $125 per offense, even if they're only five or six or seven miles above a speed limit. And of course, a lot of times, as you know, the work zones aren't active. You know, you go through a speed zone, they're actually not working at that time. And you still get the ticket. On these speed cameras, more than $600,000 have been collected over the last six months alone. That's getting a lot of voters and even politicians in Indiana a little upset about this. This is going a little too far. So they're going to maybe only turn on the cameras when the work zones are active, not when the guys have quit for the day or gone out to lunch. We'll see if this happens again. I'm all in favor of highway safety. I want our highway workers to be safe. But this is going a little too far. And this is a little bit of a shakedown. Let's admit it. Now, the Slate EV truck, which I told you about first on this program months ago, that very, very cheap EV truck pickup truck made by a company that Jeff Bezos owns, that's the one where they don't even have power windows. You have to crank up the windows like the old days. Anyway, it was the big part of that truck was that it was supposed to sell for just $20,000. You might remember that. Well, now that the EV tax credit has been eliminated by the big beautiful bill, it now retails for $27,500. Okay, still pretty cheap. But if you lease the truck, because of some of the issues with leasing EVs, it's about $500 a month. $500 a month for a truck that you have to crank up the windows that's not working. And a number of experts are pointing out now that that is going for that kind of money, you can get the gas powered Ford Maverick, which is their little mini pickup truck for as little as $289 per month for a 36 month lease. So the whole marketing plan for Slate has been blown out of the water. I don't know how they're going to fix this. And even if they give you power windows, I don't think that'll be enough when I can save more than $200 a month by getting a Ford Maverick and not have to worry about we're going to plug it in. This is a marketing fail. They just didn't strike fast enough. And Jeff Bezos has a lot of failures, even though he used to be the richest man in the world. All right, the conventional wisdom since July has been that auto dealers would have a great June through September quarter and Then a big drop off at the end of the year. Not true. Apparently. Right now, the latest surveys of auto dealers, and they don't lie to the survey takers by the way, is that the auto dealers now are very optimistic about the last three months of this year going into the Christmas season. They think that their sales are actually going to increase. Now that's even after the third quarter. The June through September quarter was very good for the auto dealers as well because people were rushing to buy some of those EVs before the tax credit went away. And so that was very good news for dealers that got people into the dealership even if they didn't buy an ev. But the dealers said that they think they're going to even increase from that. So. And they know better, believe me, these people are not people with rose colored glasses. Working in the auto dealership world can be pretty tough. Speaking of auto dealerships, Nick Saban, the former Alabama great head coach, he's been invested heavily. I know he does a lot of commercials for Aflac and for VRBO and places like that, but his real money is in car dealerships. He's been investing in them and he just announced or we're just learning of a new expansion. He's going to buy a Toyota Lexus dealership in Montgomery, Alabama. I mean, the Nick Saban name in Alabama is absolute gold. He should buy as many dealerships in that state as he possibly can. And this just in a couple of top recruits. Five star dealership salesman recruits who are going to work at Honda have now just transferred to Nick Saban. So I'm just kidding. But you get, you get the point. If he's going to run his dealerships like that, a lot of really, really good salespeople are going to work, want to work for him. Just like football players wanted to switch their commitments to LSU or UCLA and switch to Alabama. I think that's what's going to happen here and I'm not kidding. All right, coming up, the no Kings rallies were not as peaceful as some people thought they were. We're going to take a look at that when American Sunrise Early Edition continues.

It's Tuesday, October 21st, here at this morning's top story. Send in the cavalry to this place. A federal appeals court rules President Trump can send the National Guard into Portland, Oregon. Of course, the state's attorney general is still going to appeal the ruling and waste the taxpayers money. The nation of Colombia pushes back on President Trump's claims that President Gustavo Petro is basically a drug dealer. But you know, the tough talk could eventually lead to a deal to curb the drug flow into this country. It's happened before. It's day 21 of the government shutdown and reports are flying around that Chuck Schumer has decided to change his mind about allowing the shutdown to end this week. Apparently, it's because the Democrats think they have momentum behind them. After the big turnout for the no Kings rallies on Saturday. And as France remains on high alert looking for those Louvre jewel thieves, a new theory about who could be behind the heist is emerging. And it could be good news. Maybe they won't melt down those priceless historic pieces of jewelry. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome back to AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Again, thank you so much for watching and following us on all the different streaming platforms, on Substack, on Getter, on Rumble on X and of course, commenting. As I often say on this program, the days of passively watching the news are over. People need to be able to weigh in, give us their comments. That's how you learn and that's how you stay out of the mainstream news media bubble. I promise you, the guys at cbs, NBC, cnn, ABC haven't heard a word from a real viewer while their shows were on in ever forever. Never happened. And I get to do that. And I think it's really a good thing. Joining us now is Texas Public Policy foundation senior fellow and former Trump administration official Ammon Blair. Ammon, just have to ask you very quickly about this appeals court decision about Portland and the scenario I want to ask you about. And I just want to make sure that all the viewers are clear about for now. The appeals court has allowed President Trump to send in the National Guard to that mess down in downtown Portland, Oregon. But Portland, of course, has already announced, actually the state of Oregon, their attorney general is going to appeal this. So let me get the scenario straight and I'd love to get your take on it. Oregon is now going to take the taxpayer money of the citizens and Businesses who have been affected by Antifa and other people destroying their lives and their businesses. And they're going to take the victims taxpayer money and use that to fund their appeals to stop the federal government from protecting and fixing the situation for those victims. Do I have that right? Ammon?
Ammon Blair
This is a complete nullification of federal laws by states. We saw the same thing after the Civil War, during the Reconstruction era, where the Southern states were. That's where Paso Comitatus came from, where they didn't want the National Guard mandating that they allow blacks at that time to have the same rights as a citizen. The same thing that we're seeing today in our streets and we're seeing with the states. They are using this to attack ice, to attack Border Patrol, to attack the very ideals of what a citizen is. And they're doing so through whether that's ideological training, through the words and messaging that they're utilizing, or through the court system, through Lawfare. It is 100% a complete nullification of the whole idea and concept of sovereignty and citizenship.
Jake Novak
Yeah, I like the fact that you talked about that era of Reconstruction and after the Civil War. Everyone should read the book about Ulysses Grant by Ron Chernow. He goes into the details of how President, then President Grant sent in the army to get rid of the kkk. And the KKK wasn't a bunch of crazy people just in hoods back then. That was. It was a paramilitary force like Antifa, armed and trained, some of it actually staffed by former Confederate soldiers and officers. And he got rid of them because they were literally burning the cities down again. And that really had to stop. All right, Eamon, let's talk about some of the disturbing imagery coming out of those no Kings rallies Saturday. There's a big dispute going on now about how many people showed up to these national rallies. Whatever it was, it was a decent number, let's face it. But here you see a video here of a child attacking President Trump like a pinata. There was other people who were quoted as saying they wish death on the president. This wasn't just a bunch of old crazy people who didn't know what they were doing. There was an element. There's something that we can't laugh about here. There was clearly an element of violence, or at least the encouragement of violence. And after the Charlie Kirk assassination and the assassination attempts on President Trump, the left is still doing this. They are addicted to violent imagery and messaging, aren't they?
Ammon Blair
100% communism. And that's what they are. They're communists. It is a religion of the malcontent. The communist is a religious zealot who only understands fear, violence, pain and destruction. And you're not going to be able to change his ways because that is his moral code. And it's the same indoctrination that the communists are using on our children that you saw in those videos. The same thing that ISIS does to their children, or where they call the Cubs of the caliphate, or whether the Mexican cartels like the Zetas, how they utilize young American boys to indoctrinate them to become sicarios or hitmen for them. And it's all through the same thing, whether that's through training or whether that's through the dehumanization of what people is known as the others, which is everyone else other than their group identity. It's the same psychological evolution to get someone to go from a regular child, an innocent child, to one that sees others as the complete enemy and worthy of their destruction.
Jake Novak
You know, there were people who saw these videos that we're showing and they immediately said, this reminds me of some of the videos they show of Gaza, of the children in the schools learning how to having little play acting sessions where they kill Jews and things like that. And I have to say, yeah, you know, it does look like that. It's really scary. And to do this to a child, this is child abuse. What you're looking at right now is child abuse having a child do this. It's, you know, there's no candy in that. If there were candy in there, maybe we could talk. But there's no candy in that sort of mock up of President Trump. And it's just done to cultivate resentment. And now there's people like Don Lemon. I was talking about how there are comedians a couple of minutes ago who aren't really smart at all and really aren't qualified to talk about politics. Don Lemon isn't a comedian, but he is just as mentally challenged as many of them. And he's actually openly saying, talk about cultivating violence. He's saying that Americans should arm up and we're all for Second Amendment rights, but not for this reason. He wants them all to be armed so they can threaten and maybe even kill ICE agents. When they come to, all they're doing is rounding up illegal aliens, many of whom are violent criminals on top of that. And then you have geniuses like Don Lemon who's willing to go on record and tell everyone to arm up. I mean, he's not even smart enough to keep it quiet. But here you go, I mean, this guy loses his job at cnn, which he didn't deserve. I worked there with him briefly. I don't know how he got that job. But anyway. And this is his resentment. You talked about resentment. He's got a personal resentment and he wants everyone else to get violent over it. Incredible.
Ammon Blair
Yeah. What's interesting and what's sad is nothing is actually being done. Those who are inciting violence publicly, whether that's elected officials or whether it's like Don Lemon or anyone else, they're completely inciting violence to go after ice, Border Patrol. And those that actually believe in America, believe in citizenship, believe in the whole idea and concept of individual, state and national sovereignty. Yet we're seeing this time and time again where public officials go out and completely demonize ICE and our law enforcement, go out there and actually tell people to arm up and go after law enforcement once again, if there is not going to be any rule of law against those that are inciting this, this is only going to continue to grow this movement when they feel that they're completely justified by the inaction of our federal government to go after them.
Colonel Rob Manes
Yeah.
Jake Novak
And also the resentment isn't justified also. I mean, if there were a lot of innocent people who had been deported by now or abused by ice, we would have heard their stories by now. The best that the mainstream media can come up with, and let us come up with it, is Kilmer Alberrego Garcia, who may have been a human trafficker of children, who definitely was a wife beater and definitely was here illegally. That's the best they can do. I mean, I'm waiting for the mistake. Oh, the 100 year family of legal citizens who somehow one of their children got deported and was maybe beaten and cut. None of those stories have come out. You think the mainstream media isn't dying to find a story like this? They haven't found one because it's not happening. Believe me, if it were happening, you would have heard about it by now. And that is why this is really scary, because they're trying to create a resentment and an anger and violence over something that isn't really happening. Now. Something that is happening, Eamonn, is that we've had a 21 day. This is day 21 of the government shutdown. And because of those no Kings rallies with all that disturbing imagery that we just showed you, apparently there are reports that Chuck Schumer is now not going to let the government shut down. And apparently there were reports that he was going to tell his fellow Democrat senators Go ahead and vote to end the shutdown. After the no Kings rallies are over, we'll get that out of the way and we'll have made our point. But now, apparently he's backtracking because he liked the turnout at the no Kings rally. He figures now they have some momentum behind them. I don't think they have momentum for this shutdown to continue. I think they have momentum for violence and resentment. That's what I think they have momentum for. And that's not gonna. They're not gonna be happy with the shutdown. They wanna see some real violence, don't they?
Ammon Blair
No. 100%. When you look at this, really what's happening is a color revolution. Those that you saw in the streets were just the street level Communists or activists or anarchists. And there's a whole society approach to eradicate, really our country, our constitutional republic. And Chuck Schumer now saw how many people, though the levels of the amount or the people that were out there again, were lower than what they thought that were going to come. But still, it is quite a massive movement. And when they see that there really was no action against them, they are now charged to go forward with their continued plan of complete destruction. Blame it on President Trump. Look, they're doing the same thing that the Russians did back in the day, the ussr, and that is reflexive control. They want to continue to make it so. That way the federal government is seen as what they portray them as fascists, as quote, unquote, Nazis. They're going to continue to allow chaos and destruction through our streets and throughout this nation and without pay and without government pay to then force Trump to play his cards in a certain manner that shows that, quote, unquote, they are correct, he is a fascist, and that all their actions are justified. It's a complete playbook from the ussr. It's a complete playbook from all of our past color revolutions as well.
Jake Novak
And it's a long history of resentment, but it's gone way too far. This has gone beyond flipping the chessboard over when it looks like you're going to be mated. They're more than flipping the chessboard over. They're dousing it in gasoline and setting it on fire. Ammon Blaine Blair, thank you so much for joining us. Ammon Blair, I appreciate it. Have a great rest of your week and let's hope for better times. And let's hope we get over this push to make us all violent in this country. I think people just need to really see the longer view and realize that they're being manipulated. Thank you so much.
Ammon Blair
Thank you for having me.

We're gonna keep showing you this video of the this live shot of the Raiders stadium until either the Raiders win another game or the jets winter win a game. This is going to be a very long shot. I don't know. I think it's good for football when the Oakland Raiders are called. The Oakland Raiders play in Oakland and they're a relatively good or at least tough team when the Raiders are irrelevant. I don't think it's great for football anyway. That's just my opinion. I'm not even a Raiders fan. Hey, welcome back, everyone. I want to make it clear I've been spending some time this hour trashing the intelligence of some of the on air people I've worked with. I want to make it clear I have worked with some very smart people and currently I'm doing that right now with David Brody, which is why we talk to him every day at the end of this program. And David, we got the news yesterday in the Wall Street Journal, no less. This wasn't some kind of church bulletin or religious publication. The Wall Street Journal publishing a story about how Bible sales surged like crazy in September. Basically like the best month they've ever had since they've been recording this kind of thing. And of course, good on the Wall Street Journal. They have been going off the reservation lately. But they're correct in their assessment that this probably has something to do with the Charlie Kirk assassination and how so many young people, people who don't already have a Bible in their home or don't already have a Bible that they keep with them all the time, decided to buy one based on some of the things that Charlie stood for. And I think that's really an interesting thing. Even if you're not a religious person or you don't know about, it's nice to see people buying an actual book again. And I think that that's really a good thing. I mean really, it's as simple as that. But I think it is. I think it does say something better than just that.
David Brody
No doubt. First of all, let's just start with the low hanging kind of moral fruit. Even if you're not a religious person, you know, hey, this just in, it's a pretty good moral book to live by, number one. But beyond all of that, the fact that there are actual Bibles that have increased, or the Bible increase, if you will, is good. But there's an asterisk to this, Jake. And look, that's kind of like if I go and buy, you know, some healthy food and I put it in my refrigerator and then it just sits there, right? I mean, you know, don't get me wrong, I don't want to be. Boy, I sound like Negative Nancy. And by the way, I'm not having a gender crisis. I'm not Nancy, I'm Negative Nick. But you know, it's a good idea, obviously to get the Bible. You got to get it. And then here's a suggestion, try not to accumulate dust on it. But look, at least it's a good first step for sure. And of course it's directly related to the Charlie Kirk tragic assassination or heinous, I really should say assassination. And the good news is, is that we are seeing what we're calling now. Many folks in evangelical circles are calling this Gen Z movement the revival generation. And I think there is some truth to that. We'll see if it finally kind of ends up being a full on spiritual revival a la Billy Graham, or you can go back to George Whitefield and others back in the Revolutionary War days. But the point is, is that there's something going on with this generation and that's a good thing, Jake.
Jake Novak
Well, they have been given nothing and eventually they're going to search it out. Part of it makes me sad, again, not to be negative either, but it makes me sad that there are so many people who from birth don't have some kind of a Bible education because it's great that they're picking it up at some point. Again, even if you're not religious, you can't understand Western civilization without understanding the Bible. I don't know how you play Jeopardy. Without all that kind of stuff, but it's great that they're getting it at some point. But here's why I need a new Bible all the time, because here's one of mine. The print is too small and I'm getting, you know, I'm getting older. I need a bigger one. So that's, let's be honest, it's not all about revival. It's also about getting old.
David Brody
And it's also a great history book, by the way, beyond the actual biblical truth.
Ammon Blair
It's.
David Brody
It's a great history book too.
Jake Novak
