Ahead on American Sunrise. Early Edition. It's on. President Trump and Chinese President Xi will meet next week in South Korea as part of President Trump's trip through Asia. In the meantime, the trade tensions between our two nations aren't abating. That's because they're at war with us. In Israel, a more cooperative diplomacy is in effect. And despite efforts by some media malcontents, both Washington and Jerusalem continued to move full speed ahead on a post war plan for Gaza. San Francisco may seem like a war zone, but President Trump has been persuaded not to call on the National Guard to the city by the bay just yet. Will the city's leaders take this opportunity to clean things up on their own? In Southern California, the streets or more specifically, the freeways are not safe. We're learning more about the illegal alien with a no name license who killed three other drivers this week. How much longer will the rest of the country have to endure blue states putting illegals behind the wheel? And the stunning FBI gambling bus that snared some of the very biggest names in the NBA still has the pro sports world reeling. Could this result in some new laws to curb sports betting? AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY EDITION begins now.

We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. Welcome to this no tie Friday here in American SUNRISE EARLY edition. We got our lighting improved here yesterday and the day before. There were some people saying, hey, you know, the shadows are covering you, Jake. We can't see your face. Now that the lighting's better, we're getting more texts saying, no, go back to the shadows. I'm just kidding. All right. We have a lot of news to cover and it's all over the globe. So let's start with the Holy Land right now. Joining us right now is Rabbi Yotab Eliak. Yotav is the author of the book. And this is the book you need for your cocktail party attendance for the rest of your life or those annoying chats that you get in online with people who don't know what they're talking about. It's called Judaism, Zionism and the Land of Israel. You can read one chapter a week and you will make some points, use your highlighter and you'll be ready for the morons who come and tell you lies about what's been going on there for the last 500 years. But Rabbi, before we go over to Israel, let's talk about the potential new Gaza that's gonna be built right here on the shores of the United States, here in New York. Coming in the person of Zoran Mamdani. The reason why I wanted to ask you this first is I remember quite well 20 years ago, you and I talking about how London and Paris and some of the other cities in Europe were going to become dangerous places because of this massive migration of people who could not be absorbed into the cultures there. Islamist people coming from all over the Middle East. And sure enough, you were right about that. And they got a mayor, Sadiq Khan, still the mayor in London, who I think is the prototype for Zohar Mamdani. So tell us what we can expect from Zoran Sadiq Khan Mamdani.
Rabbi Yotav Eliak
Well, on one hand, we all hope that he will not be the mayor, but I think the odds are, I don't know, 10 to 1 that he will be. I think the red green alliance is something people need to understand. It's an alliance between people on the extreme left. And the reason the color red has been picked is because communism and green is because that is the flag of jihadism. And Zoran Mandami is a man who believes in the idea of this alliance, even though the alliance itself doesn't make sense, because it's, as we've discussed, like queers for Palestine, that's chickens for kfc. Yet somehow the odds are. By the way, Jake, I checked in the last three elections, 26, 26 and 21% of registered voters actually show up to vote in the New York City election. So it's in the last three that they got de Blasio and then Adams. All you have to do is win 13.1% or 7.1%, and you become mayor of New York. I think it's going to be scary. I think the first thing that's going to happen is one of the things that a lot of people don't talk about is Mondami is going to want to put together, besides being anti police, he's going to want to have a civilian review board of police actions. So instead of if there are complaints against you as a cop, which the number grows in deep blue cities, instead of your peers, your officers judging you, who understand a little bit about what it's like to be a policeman, there'll be a civilian review board, which we know will be made up of people from the extreme left. I almost can almost guarantee that thousands of police will probably resign within the first few days or weeks of his becoming mayor. So besides the fact that he's anti police. There will simply be less and less police. Add to that that you have das like Alvin Bragg who will be purchased by Soros, and you have an ingredients for a real nightmare where criminals are going to feel empowered throughout the city. And unfortunately, I think one of the groups that are going to really feel vulnerable are Jewish communities, especially those who are openly Orthodox, pro Israel. And it's across the board. Now at the debate, I think when one of the candidates said, I think it was Cuomo, that a letter with 650 rabbis signed, I think it's 850 rabbis throughout the country, Reform, Conservative and Orthodox. I think this is one of the few times that all the denominations in Judaism are really understand that Zoran Mandami is a dangerous man. It's, I think Curtis Sliwa said something very simple and correct, you know, because he was talking about fighting anti Semitism as mayor. And Sliwa said it's interesting. You're the arsonist that started the fire and now you're claiming you're going to be the fire commissioner to put it out. But we all know that's not going to happen.
Jake Novak
No, it won't. Well, now let's talk about peaceful and lovely places like Gaza. That's why I came to Beirut, to get some peace. No, just kidding. But seriously, there are reports, there are reports that the US wants to split Gaza into another kind of a two state solution. One part of Gaza would be controlled by the Israelis and another would be controlled by Hamas. I think we know which part will implode immediately. Now this is, again, these are the reports right now. But you know, I have to take a 30,000 foot view of all this and just think to myself that look, the atrocities of October 7th and the war that also caused so many casualties on the Israeli side, all of that is just so, so difficult for everyone to process, especially if you've seen the videos. On the other hand, though, this was a problem that needed to be solved all along, even well before October 7th. And the fact that we're even talking about redistricting, remapping Gaza in the first place, without a Hamas that's anywhere near as strong as it was, without a Hezbollah or Houthis that are anywhere strong as they were, I consider that a positive. I don't think, I don't know if it was worth October 7th. I don't want to get into that moral argument, but I do want to say it's great to hear that there are talks about planning this thing, remapping.
Rabbi Yotav Eliak
It what concerns me, Jake, is that the game plan seems to change too often. President Trump, when he issued his, I think, 21 point or 20 point program, there was no Hamas of any sort. And just the other day, he kept talking about the fact that they cannot exist in Gaza. They have to be lay down their arms and they have to cease existing as an organization. And suddenly the tune is changing. I'm not sure what that's all about. I personally feel that the Qataris in particular, who have become very well entrenched in the United States and spend an enormous amount of money lobbying and buying up university chair positions and corporations and spokesmen have been trying to explain to the administration that, you know, we can handle Hamas. Hamas is something that we can take care of and, you know, let us handle it. I'm concerned about that. Hamas cannot exist from an Israeli perspective. All my friends who fought in the war and are officers, that's not why they had their arms blown off or legs blown off or buried. A lot of friends, Hamas is isis. I don't think the United States would ever negotiate a deal that says ISIS somehow could stay or Al Qaeda can stay. They can just be. They just have to be knocked down to size. They don't have to be knocked down to size. They need to be obliterated. So I'm not sure where this is going. I wait every day to hear the next version. Like, for example, even the way your show began, J.D. vance's visit was not the type of visit I think that the Israelis had expected. And then you have Marco Rubio show up, and suddenly we're getting closer to the original type of discussions when President Trump came and spoke to the Knesset. So I honestly don't know what's going to be the version tomorrow and what's going to be the version a week from now. Right now, Gaza is split into two. Israel has 50, the IDF has 50%, and Hamas really has the other 50%, which was not where this war ended. Jake, just to remind you, the war ended with the IDF having about 75 to 80% and Hamas. The only reason they agreed to anything, because there was literally a sword to their throat. They felt the tip literally pinching, you know, their skin and the blood beginning to come out. And they knew the end is near. And that is obviously that together with American pressure. And suddenly Israel pulls back. 50% of Gaza is back, and all their spokesmen say, we're not going to disarm. And we never agreed that we're not going to be part of the Process. I don't know. I'm concerned. I don't know where this is going, but I know Israel cannot allow the United States and the Western world should not allow Hamas in any shape or form to exist in Gaza or anywhere else.
Jake Novak
Rabbi, I'm sorry, I only have about 30 seconds for this last question because I know we could go on for a long time about it. But just real quick, this discussion about the west bank annexation vote, the Israeli Knesset voting to make it officially part of the actual Israel proper, this seems to me like something that was overhyped by radical groups on both the left and the right and the media types. This is really nothing to make a big deal out of, is it?
Rabbi Yotav Eliak
I agree with you. I think I'll tell you what I understand to really be what's happening. The people who know the Oslo Accords, Judea and Samaria were divided into three areas, A, B and C. C is the area that Israel controlled and that's where all the Jewish towns are and that's where all Jewish population lives and that's where all Israeli army bases are, etc. That is about 57% of Judea and Samaria. Area A, I'm skipping over B for a reason. Area A was the heartland of the Palestinian Authority state. Those are all the large cities in Judea and Samaria where they were the government, they collected the taxes, they gave out the permits, they have a massive police force. And originally the IDF never entered their area. And that's about 2, 3% of the territory, but about 95% of the population, the Arab population of Judea and Samaria. Area B, which makes up about, I don't know, like 40% is where all the small villages, towns, quote, suburbs are, which was supposed to be PA political control, but Israeli military control. Once we had the suicide bombing war in the early 2000s and all bets were off and everything changed about Oslo. It's clear that the pa, if you just go to Palestine media watch website and just see what they say every single day, it's no different than Hamas, what Israel is saying. Area C is off the table. Area C, we've been, remember this has been going on 30 years already. The PA is not a partner. The PA pays for slave, they still continue to pay. If you kill or murder, there's a chart. If you murder this amount of people, you and your family get this much. If you only blew somebody's arm off, you get this much. So Israel is talking about Area C is off the table and they want to extend Israeli law which in reality is what's going on in areas C anyway. So I think this is a tempest and a teapot to a great extent. The question is going to be what's going to be in areas A and B.
Jake Novak
All right. I thank you for that. That's a good, it's a good explanation. This is why you have to get the book and find out the realities of the situation and not listen to the mainstream media or the crazy on all sides. Rabbi Yotsav Eliof, thank you so much for joining us. Have a great weekend.

Let's be honest. Building wealth doesn't look the same for everyone. It's not just about saving. It's about investing. It's about navigating systems that weren't built for you, embracing your hustle and relying on your community to create something bigger.
Travis Holloway
And that's exactly why we created the Wealth Break. We made something different, something more human. It's not just another financial podcast. It's a conversation about real life, real struggles and real wins.

We're here to talk about the journey. You're hearing from people who've broken barriers, found creative ways to succeed and learn to build wealth on their terms. Whether it's the first time homeowner, a gig worker, or someone turning a side hustle into a six figure business, we're bringing you their stories.
Travis Holloway
And we're not stopping at success stories. We're breaking down the realities like what it means to take risk, how to navigate failure, and why resilience matters. Because wealth isn't about money. It's about creating a life where you can thrive and help others to do the same.

Oh, I'm gonna win this game of try to stump Jake. They thought I wouldn't know this town. This is Ruidoso, New Mexico. I do know it. I worked with the guy who grew up there and he was best friends with Neil Patrick Harris, the actor who also grew up there. Ruidoso, New Mexico. It's very early in the morning there right now. They got some kind of flashing light there. I hope that isn't in someone's eyes trying to sleep. Very beautiful apartment part of the country. New Mexico. It's very spread out. You won't have to deal with any traffic jams. But Ruidoso, New Mexico, good morning to you in that lovely state. Welcome back to American Sunrise EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. It is a no tie Friday, and I would say special thanks to everyone on the Getter and the Rumble chats X and substack who are commenting because I actually read those comments and most of them are nice. A lot of people happy that we have better lighting this morning. And then some people who see me in this outfit and they wish that we had bad lighting again. Welcome back. Listen, that mean old king and dictator in the White House, he's such a fascist that he lets some people talk him out of something. Oh, wait, that's not like being a fascist at all. I'm talking about Big Tech CEO Mark Benioff and San Francisco Mayor Laurie calling President Trump yesterday and convincing him not not to send the National Guard troops to the city. They basically made a couple of promises. Laurie made a promise that the cops would do better. And Marc Benioff, it's not official, but I have a feeling he promised some money for the efforts in San Francisco. He and his big tech buddies. That's what's probably happening. Emily Finn joins us now. Hey, Emily, I don't presume you have visited skid row in San Francisco lately. It doesn't look like you've been there recently. But I'm not so sure this is actually good news for San Francisco. But I also know one thing. The people who are at those no Kings rallies probably don't know about this story because they watch mainstream news media, which is telling them that President Trump is a king and a dictator. But this isn't. Doesn't sound like what a dictator would do, does it?
Emily Finn
It certainly doesn't. Something I say all the time is make it make sense. I mean, if Trump is king, someone hasn't told him that. He doesn't have to explain his reasoning for his decisions. I was reading this NBC article this morning saying that he posted on Truth Social saying, yeah, a couple of my buddies called me up. I decided not to do it. It's like, can you imagine that transparency from former administrations. You know, at least he's being extraordinarily honest about his decision making. You know, and it's not to say that he wouldn't go into San Francisco for this surge eventually if that is needed. But right now he was convinced by the mayor and by the CEO. He had those conversations and they said that, look, San Francisco is going to try to get this under control ourselves, hold off. And who knows, maybe President Trump will change his mind down the road. But I do respect the, the transparency and the honesty from our president.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And another little inside tip. San Francisco is a small city. You know, people talk about the Bay Area because they include Oakland, they include, there's a lot of surrounding areas. So sure, it's a highly populated area when you throw in all those other parts of it, but San Francisco itself would be the easiest major city in this country really to get under control. And they're just not doing it. And it's really frustrating to me. It's a beautiful city geographically. I love walking the streets there, or at least I used to. What can I tell you? It's been ruined by a lot of things. Believe it or not, it used to be a big Republican city. The entire city used to have a Republican government right on down to the mayor. It feels like a million years ago, but hopefully they'll get their, their act together. Emily, don't go to skid row. No, I won't suggest.
Emily Finn
No, no desire to travel there.
Jake Novak
Yeah, I would suggest you stay in Marin County. I think that that'll be more your speed. But thanks for joining us. We'll see you in the 8 to 10am hour. Thank you so much.

Thank you, Jake.

See mintmobile.com now there you see Washington D.C. oh, look at that. We've got a little bit of color in one of those trees around Capitol Hill. Not exactly leaf watching season. I don't think D.C. really has that. But that's a pretty shot of our capital government shutdown. I think it's day 24. Has anyone noticed yet? Federal workers have noticed. And the federal workers like all vote Democrats. The Democrats are hurting their own people. But what else is new? Look what they do to the cities they control. Let's take a look at where the markets will begin today. We have all green so far on the major indices. Yesterday was a pretty interesting volatile day, up and down, but we ended up closing up on all the and we're really just again very, very close to all time highs. Gold taking again a little bit of a step back, but we're still clearly over the $4,000 per ounce market. Still the hottest trade of the year. Silver also taking a step back almost a dollar down. Crude oil at the $62 a barrel level right now. Remember President Trump imposing those sanctions on Russian oil, new sanctions. So that's driving the price up. But again, we're not even at $65 a barrel. I mean this is a set, really a very low price for, for, for oil right now. Let's take a look at bitcoin again. Bitcoin been struggling all week. It's over the 110 mark right now at 111. So it's doing a little bit better today. Let's see how close it's going to get in the coming weeks. Back to the 125 all time high level of. So let's talk about real estate right now. Sales of previously owned homes, no one ever says used homes, just homes that aren't new construction. They rose to the highest pace in seven months in September. Now that had a lot to do with the average rate on the 30 year fixed mortgage going down right now, by the way, it's at 6.17%. I've said on this program many times, you get us below 6%, I don't care if it's 5.999. It'll be such a psychological hurdle for the market to clear. I'm really rooting for that right now. But at 6.17, that's pretty good. So you had a nice surge in September. Still not the greatest, greatest numbers, but the best in seven months. So that was good news. And again, all it takes is for the price to go down, folks. Simple economics. Hey, President Trump has pardoned Binance founder Changpeng Chao Zhao, who everyone calls CZ. That's what everyone calls him. He pleaded guilty in 2023 to enabling money laundering while he was the CEO of the huge cryptocurrency exchange Binance. That's what it's called. But you know what, the evidence was never really very specific in that case. Leading some to believe his conviction was a little suspect. Listen, Binance did still pay $4.3 billion. That's a heck of a fine. As part of the guilty plea, CZ actually served four months in jail a long time ago. He finished his time in jail. Of course, the Democrats are going crazy about this, saying this is really lenient. Explain this to me. They still paid the $4.3 billion. That's not getting refunded. This guy already had his jail time. So why is the pardon this crime against humanity that Elizabeth Warren wants it to be? It doesn't make any sense. The Trump administration insists it's not, not planning on investing on any of the fledgling quantum computing companies. What's quantum computing, you might ask? This is a new kind of computing that can basically do what computers do now, but hundreds of times faster. And there have been a lot of rumors, I think, well founded rumors that the administration was going to invest in some of the companies working in this technology just to make sure that our national security isn't compromised. If you have one country, let's say China, using quantum computing a lot and we're not, we're going to be in big trouble. But the administration says it's not ready quite yet to invest in these companies. But I promise you they're watching what they're doing very, very closely and I'm glad for that. Quantum computing right now doesn't have a lot of practical uses yet, but as soon as they figure out how to use it for weapons systems and for economic systems, we're going to be behind the eight ball unless our companies continue to get help. Right now, there's probably enough private investors to do that so we can stay libertarian for now. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Moving America. ArtilleryTea Code.com promo code Liberty for 20% off your order. Ford Motor Company came out with its third quarter earnings report. That's the July through September period. And it beat profit expectations and it really beat revenue estimates. That's the money that's coming in. They blew those out of the water. But it did warn investors that its numbers will be weaker than previously expected for this current quarter going through Christmas, because you guessed it, because of that Aluminum fire in upstate New York. That aluminum fire absolutely hurting Ford right now. Getting a lot of delays into the system right now for them, especially on some of their more popular models. But Ford shares are up about 3% in the pre market. Still, investors like what they saw. You have to. I mean, Ford in a, in a period of the year when everyone was buying electric vehicles or not everyone, but a lot of people were because the tax credit was expiring in September. Ford, which has almost no major serious contenders in the EV market, still brought in a lot more money than expected. That's good news. Okay, former Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares is going on a book tour and he has this stunning headline as part of his media message. I'm being sarcastic. Stellantis will probably soon need to be broken up. Hey, you think Captain Obvious, who didn't know even when before this guy was the CEO, that the combination of Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Chrysler minivans didn't exactly make any sense. I think everybody in fifth grade and above understood that. It's this most strange conglomerate of car brands I've ever seen and it's not working. What works here in America is Jeep, still a very popular brand and people love the Dodge muscle cars. And Chrysler has very nice looking minivans. They're not really the most reliable in the world, but okay, that's what's going to work for this company, not some of the other stuff they try to sell. Carlos Savaris is now doing like a Kamala Harris book tour explaining all the stuff that we all knew before he was CEO, let alone after they got rid of him. Don't buy the book. I'm just going to save you the time. I just gave you the whole story. Electric SUV maker, Rivian. They make nice looking SUVs, but they're laying off 600 workers. That's 15% of its workforce. And it will have, it will have to do what it can do to kind of keep where they're going. Rivian shares in the stock market are actually up 28% from a year ago today. But get this, four years ago they were trading at a level 14 times higher than where they are this morning. That is a major haircut. I think those SUVs look kind of cool. You see them in the fancier neighborhoods, but frankly, this company doesn't make a lot of sense. The whole suv, truck and electric thing doesn't work for me and I don't think it works for most Americans. All right, this is my favorite story of the morning. 1064 horsepower, 1064 just isn't for everybody. A new owner of a 2026 Corvette ZR1 found that out. And after just 40 miles on the odometer, he's selling it. No, this is not a flip. He swears it was just too much power for him. Now he wanted to get too upset about this. The car is already getting bids for well over what he paid for it. It should go for about $250,000. He paid under, I think 220,000. So not bad. Still, I'm a little bit wary of the story. This sounds a little bit like when you go to the used car dealer and the guy says, this car was only driven by a sweet old lady to go to church. You know that, that line, I wonder if maybe this is a flip. But he swears, he swears it is, and he swears it was just too powerful. It is faster than a lot of cars that are much more expensive. That's something I've reported on this show. So it's plausible in my opinion. Okay, coming up, the number of teachers at all levels of education who are just showing us right now how deranged and dangerous they are since the Charlie Kirk assassination. It's stunning. I'm gonna have the latest on that with an expert on the education system in this country. American Sunrise early edition. We'll be right.

It's Friday, October 24th. Here are today's top stories. It's on President Trump and Chinese President Xi will meet next week in South Korea as part of President Trump and his trip through Asia that's why the markets are up this morning and ended up yesterday. But the trade tensions between our two countries are not abating. That's because China is at economic and other kinds of war with us. Spoiler alert. Hey, San Francisco may seem like a war zone speaking of wars, but President Trump has been persuaded not to call on the National Guard to the city by the bay just yet. Will the city's leaders take this opportunity to clean things up on their own? I don't know. In Southern California, the streets or more specifically the freeways, they are not safe. We're learning more about the illegal alien with a no name license issued him by California who killed three other drivers this week.

How much longer will the rest of the country have to endure blue states putting illegals behind the wheel? And the stunning FBI gambling bust that snared some very big names in the NBA still has the pro sports world reeling. Could this result in some new laws to curb sports betting? Don't bet on it. Pun intended. AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY EDITION continues now. Welcome back to this no Tie Friday here in AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Thank you for waking up early with us on this Friday and getting your weekend started with the news and the commentary you need to hear, or we at least think you need to hear. It seems like every single day another public sector worker, often a teacher, is caught publicly celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk. I am not kidding. We just had another instance this week with a teacher in the Chicago public school system doing this. Joining us now to talk about that and more is American Culture Project senior fellow Corey DeAngelis. And Corey, before we specifically talk about any specific case, I'm going to guess that you are not shocked by this trend because you've been uncovering the decay and the rot in our public education system for a long time. You're probably the least shocked guy in America, aren't you?
Corey DeAngelis
Yeah, we have a lot of crazy people in the government school system. They got into the school system so they can influence kids and to shift our country towards a socialist direction. And so, yeah, when we see these no Kings protests, it really shouldn't surprise us that a lot of these people who are celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination happen to be a tie to the school system because the teachers union is a chief sponsor of the no Kings protest. You look at Randi Weingarten. She speaks at these events and her union, the American Federation of Teachers, which funnels basically all of its campaign contributions to Democrat campaign coffers, 99% of their funding goes to the Democrats. It's a money laundering operation for the Democrat Party. Aft her union is listed as a chief sponsor of the no Kings protest. So you know, you had the school systems kind of going into hiding when, when a lot of these videos are going viral right now of teachers mocking the death of Charlie Kirk. One pointing a fake, you know, kind of a gesture of a gun to her, to her neck. As you can see in the video right now, that school district is the Chicago public school system. They have 55 public schools with not a single kid proficient in math. And guess what the principal did. They sent out a statement to parents. They're not answering any of the phone calls. It goes directly to voicemail. They're not answering any emails from media or the public. They've gone into hiding. But they sent out an email to parents basically saying turning the teacher into the victim like they always do. Their perpetual victims and just saying, oh, we're going to have more security presence on campus. But not a single word about the disgusting actions of this teacher. Whether they're on leave or not. They're just basically trying to cover themselves, sweep it under the rug and avoid all accountability whatsoever. This is, this is the nature of the public school monopoly. They have no competition, no incentive to do a better job. Parents can't vote with their feet in Illinois because the teachers unions killed their school choice program a couple of years ago, even for low income kids. So they're, they're stuck, they're trapped. And so if you're a parent and you, you know, don't like what's happening and you don't like people like this in charge of your school system. You should demand school choice and other teachers who are in the system who don't want to be associated with these people need to opt out of the union. Stop funding these monsters at the, at the teachers union who push these political protests and push a far left agenda. If you're conservative in Illinois, guess what? Stacy Davis Gates, the president of the teachers union in Chicago that ruined their school system, she just got a promotion to be got become the statewide teachers union president in all of Illinois. So you need to opt out and join an alternative like the Teacher Freedom alliance and get your personal liability insurance for free and stop funding far left Democrat agendas.
Jake Novak
It's amazing how the teachers in the public school systems in so many states are basically just a political arm. They're like all political foot soldiers. And I'm glad you mentioned the unions because the unions as we know them today, the Teachers unions have a long history in this country, but their real history, as they are now, began in the mid-1960s here in New York when there were some parents in places like Brownsville, Brooklyn, who were actually physically attacking teachers. Now, that was deplorable, obviously a horrible thing. But that, when you understand that that's what really caused the beginning of the new leadership of the unions in this country 50, 60 years ago, that's when you can understand why they're so anti parent. They were created at a time when there were parents who were beating them up, literally. That's not the case anymore. But let's talk about a parent who isn't beating anyone up, but is telling us an honest story. I noticed that you posted an amazing video from a parent in another state talking about another teacher who had mocked the Charlie Kirk murder. And in this case, the parent is upset that the teacher who celebrated it is still in her child's classroom. Let's check it out. Let's watch her play her complaint here. I went back up to the school to demand my child be removed from the class, which they still denied, even though I said, hey, I don't feel safe my child being in this lady's classroom. Even more so now because she's receiving a lot of threats. The school has been leaked, yada da da da. Will there be a substitute teacher? I'm not sending my child back to the school until he gets a new class. Or will there be a substitute? Will she continue to teach? They said, why wouldn't she? And you expect me to send my child into a classroom with the lady who's getting threats? Whom. She told me last week that she does not like my child. And if this was a month ago and she knew how he was, she would have had him removed from his. I love that we've given you and then us that we've given this parent a voice. But Corey, she's noting the multiple levels of dangers that these teachers present to the students. Students. I mean, even if someone who's very angry at the teacher comes in and attacks the teacher, which we haven't heard of it, by the way, that puts those kids at risk, too, let alone the whole ideology that's being pushed. This is pretty scary if you're a parent.
Corey DeAngelis
Yeah. And look, the parents tried to push back to the school system. What did the school system do? It didn't want to listen to the parents. It just covered for the teacher and said, why wouldn't she be in the classroom? Well, I don't know. Maybe because she's going viral right now all across the country. You're shutting down the phone lines. You won't provide any statements about what's happening, and people are upset. And, you know, maybe, maybe that's why she shouldn't be in the classroom. Maybe it's because she has a far left agenda she's trying to push on kids. That same parent actually messaged me on Facebook saying that her son told her that the teacher had a sticker on her computer saying like, this sticker kills fascists. Like, so that kind of propaganda. And she also shared a screenshot from that teacher's Facebook before they took their Facebook down, showing kind of this pro trans agenda as well. So this teacher was caught on video in California basically at a no Kings protest on Saturday as well. These far left protests that are pushed by the teachers unions. And students were there basically shouting the name Charlie Kirk. And the teacher was responding with a pro D shirt on, by the way. You got to see the video to believe it. But she's just saying he's dead in a, in a gleeful way. So the kids would say Charlie Kirk. And she would reply, he's dead. Like it's like such a great thing that, that their hero is dead. I mean, it's just crazy. This person should be nowhere near a school, nowhere near young, impressionable minds. Do you think that this person could keep their political bias out of the classroom? I don't think so. And then this teacher, this parent also went on to say in that video that the teacher told her before this incident that she didn't like her kid. So, I mean, it's just, she does it like there's just no accountability. This is California. They don't have school choice. And so I would say this is free advertising for homeschooling. But it is, you know, pretty difficult for some parents to, you know, especially if you're a single parent trying to figure out how to homeschool on the fly. And this is why the money should follow the child. I mean, they spend over 20, $30,000 a kid in some places in California, in the government schools. If they're going to tell you they don't like your kid and that you can't pull your kid out of an unsafe situation, shouldn't you at least get, you know, 10 or 20,000 of that funding? It's your tax money. You should, it's meant for your kid. You should be able to take that to a private school that aligns with your values, that does like your kid, or you should Be able to use that funding for homeschooling. But you shouldn't have to funnel your tax dollars to these monsters in the school system anymore. Which, by the way, not all teachers are like this. But if you're stuck in that situation, if you're that parent on that video, shouldn't you have an escape valve just in case something bad happens? Obviously, you should. Thankfully, I live in Texas, where we have. It's kind of the land of educational freedom. We just passed a pilot voucher program for every family, regardless of income. Florida's been doing this for a while. Arizona has universal school choice, too, and a whole bunch of other red states. Hopefully, at some point, the Democrats start to lose elections over this, like we saw in the last Virginia election with Terry McAuliffe, who said, I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach. Republicans have found that this is a blueprint for political success. To side with parents, not just the teachers unions. We should side with the kids union, the new sheriff in town. There's a parent revolution unfolding right now, and it's up to families to hold politicians accountable at the ballot box at the end of the day.
Jake Novak
Yeah, Corey, you mentioned homeschooling, but also some private schools. We've got to get you to visit the schoolhouse here on long Island. Linda McMahon, the education secretary, visited not that long ago. An amazing private school that's just been started. Not that long ago. And there's two rules there, Corey, for all the teachers and administration. No politics, no gossip. I think you'd like that school. Maybe we'll get you to visit. I know the person who founded it. I got an insight. I have an inside trick for you to get in there. Anyway, Corey.
Corey DeAngelis
Yeah, that'd be great.
Jake Novak
Thank you so much. Yeah, always. Always great to hear from you. And thanks for your vigilance on the education system. It's so important. Thank you.
Corey DeAngelis
Yeah, thanks, Jake. Good talking to you.

Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition. That's a live shot of our nation's capital, the Capitol Dome. Boy, it looks beautiful from the outside, doesn't it? It's when you look inside and the people in there that it ruins everything. Folks, it's a no tie Friday here and I got to talk about this huge betting scandal. It broke yesterday just after this program I talked about it in the 9am hour yesterday with David. We have so much more to talk about. Listen, spoil, I don't want to impede on your privacy too much here, David, but you are a sports fan. You go to a lot of sporting events. I know this for a fact. So do I.
David Brody
Yes.
Jake Novak
And so that means that you and I have been subject to about one gazillion billion hours of betting ads. Not, you know, people think, oh, it's on tv when you go to the actual games, it's bet, bet, bet, bet all the time. Listen, I'm not approved. People are going to bet. I get it, I get it, I get it. But it is being shoved down the throats. And just to give a little economics lesson when it comes to for example, the stock market, the stock market is all about what we call making the markets. In other words, bringing as many buyers and sellers to the same place. So to increase the volume, it's called making the markets. There's always been people betting and when it was the back of the barbershop in Bensonhurst, that's one thing. But now on a relatively small wager, you can make a lot of money because these markets are huge, David. And I don't care how much money you're making as an NBA player or coach or whatever it is, it's just too tempting, David. And I think they need to regulate some of this. I hate saying those words, but the one thing I want to say is the prop bets, when you bet in college sports, you can't bet on an individual player's performance because the college players aren't paid all that much. Some of them get a little something from the nil deals and so that helps supposedly stop them from being on the take. They need. I think, I think they're going to have to do this in pro sports too. David. I hate to say it, but I.
David Brody
Think they are the libertarian in you is crying for sure. I know, I know. So a couple of things know. Obviously sports betting has been around for, for like, I don't know, like a long time.
Rodney Williams
Ever.
David Brody
I don't want to say ever, but you know, it's been around forever basically.
Jake Novak
It's mentioned, it's mentioned in the Talmud. It's mentioned in the Talmud, David. And they just found. I did not know that. I did not know that. They just found a 3,000 year old pair of dice in, in Israel. 3,000 years old. So is that right? Yeah.
David Brody
Okay, well it is, right?
Jake Novak
There you go.
David Brody
Well look, okay, so that is forever then. But here's the thing. Now it's obviously just in your face. And what I mean by that is if you watch sports games, forget about attending them, just watching sports games. What is going on with like basically giving you the latest betting line in the third quarter. You know, there's a lot of times these NBA games start. I mean, the third quarter begins and they. And the announcer says, all right everybody, here's the latest betting line. The Oklahoma City Thunder have a 62% chance of winning. Go to FanDuel.it's Are you kidding me? I mean we're like, here, here, please try to get addicted. Let me help you get addicted to gambling. They might as well just say that. And then these prop bets, these individual bets. And look, I've looked at the parlays. Look, I'm not stupid, okay? I've seen it around. Here's the thing, it makes it so easy to cheat. So easy. I mean, one of the parlays for. I say parlay, forget the parlay. Just one just example is a player who you can bet on a player to get the first basket in the game.
Rodney Williams
Basically.
David Brody
I mean, you know that. Well, that's simple enough. You know, you got a couple of players looking at each other going, tonight's your turn. Okay? And I'll talk to Guido down at the block. And that's the end of that. I mean this is, this is not rocket scientist. Now the good news is the FBI can look at patterns. And they saw the patterns and said, wait a minute here. But beyond patterns, you. Could it be a one off to just, you know, for $100,000? Sure could. I mean, if you're not doing this from a pattern standpoint, they're not going to probably catch you anyhow. I got a lot of problems I got. But then again, I've got a lot of problems just personally, so whatever. I'm just moving on.
