She started putting a portion of her marketing dollars in podcasting back in June.

Businesses booming.
Jake Novak
That's why I'm working on a Saturday. Want to be like Jim and Sarah. It's easy. All you have to do is own or manage a business and reach out to iHeart. Get started today at 844 iHeart or iHeartadvertising.com ahead on American Sunrise. Early edition. It's over. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats lose the shutdown battle as the Senate votes to reopen the government. With no significant concessions from the Republicans. The House will vote for it today as well. But now Schumer will have to face the rage of the far left in his party and they want to oust him as minority leader. But it will take a while for things to get back to normal on, well, whatever we call normal at our major airports. President Trump is ordering air traffic controllers to get back to work now. Chicago has become the hottest battleground in the new American Civil War as attacks on ICE agents in the Windy City get even more coordinated, sophisticated and deadly. One illegal alien has now been arrested after someone fired a gun at ICE agents in Chicago over the weekend. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case against one of the fishiest election practices in America. The fact that some states count mail in ballots that come in days after Election Day. How is that allowed? If it rules correctly, the court could do a lot with this case to restore election integrity. And speaking of fishy elections, the very suspicious vote totals for Mikey Cheryl in New Jersey last week are getting a closer look, something Republicans must do if they want to have a chance in the 2026 midterms. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center st. Your good deeds and bad deeds, that's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. Welcome and happy Veterans Day on this Tuesday here in American Sunrise EARLY Edition. And emphasis and underline the word happy. This is a day that we honor all of our veterans. As you might see on other news programs or in maybe your social media, people continue to conflate this Veterans Day with with Memorial Day. Now, of course, it's fine to honor the veterans who have passed or have died in line of serving their country today. Of course that's allowed. But this is a day that we honor all veterans and it is a joyous day. So please remember that. It's one of my pet peeves. People think that Veterans Day is a mournful day or a sad day. It's not. It should be fun. We should be smiling. We should be thanking our veterans alive and dead and thinking of them fondly and, and Memorial Day is the more somber or serious day, and that's fine. But again, this is Veterans Day, and we're gonna start with a smile. And one of the things I'm smiling about as I bring in Mike Crispie, host of Last Call and Real America's Voice and New Jersey Guy, is the fact that not only have the Democrats lost this shutdown battle and really taking away all the momentum they had from those election victories last week, let's face it, but they're admitting it. I'm seeing all these Democrats go. I thought they were gonna try to spin this Mic and pretend like they won. They're not. I'm seeing Senator after senator, other Democrats going on social media, and they look very much like they've lost. They're very angry, they're very sad. This is an utter failure. But as much as I want to spike the ball on the Democrats here and be happy about it, let's face it, Mike, the whole country lost. This was totally unnecessary and we all felt the pain. I guess I'm just glad that the icing on some of this cake, which we had to swallow, was that at least the Democrats realized that they lost.
Mike Crispie
Yeah. And I think they just wanted to drive the country to chaos under Trump for as long as they can. I mean, let's take a look at what these Democrats are doing. They're just trying to run out the clock every single day that President Trump is in office. They're trying to make every day as painful as possible for the American people. They're not trying to collaborate with President Trump to help him or find common ground. No, they're to trying. These are obstructionists. President Trump called their bluff and said, if you're going to act like this, then I'm just going to shut it down. People will suffer, your voters will suffer, and I'm not going to break on this. They were relying on him breaking. They thought they would. Trump knows their playbook by now, obviously being in his second term in the White House. And they folded because they knew that nothing would happen if they didn't do that. So the snap benefits are coming back. The airline travel is going to open back up here soon. The left wing cities who've been affected by this, they're going to go back to normal. But they thought that Trump would cave on stuff. He did not cave. And they knew that they had no path to end this thing, and that is why they are admitting defeat for now. Hopefully it's a stream of consciousness that they will not soon forget.
Jake Novak
Jake, I like your use of the word chaos, because this is something that people take as a given. Well, there's a bunch of Trump chaos. You know, if I could put this into a little bit of a metaphor. This is like Trump coming to sitting at the table with the Democrats. Yes, he says stuff that provokes them. Yes. He says stuff that maybe insults them a little bit. Of course, that's politics. That's been going on for a long time. They do it, too. I'm sorry. And then their response to it is to flip over the table, destroy the dinner, destroy the dining room, and then they say look what you made me do. I mean, this is like a domestic abuse situation where the husband beats up the wife and said, like, why did you make me beat you up? You know, I mean, that's really what we're seeing. And I'm just so sick of it. The Democrats have had a lot and forget. And by the way, not only do they not have to be so disruptive, but the Democrats are completely just. They're so short sighted, they could work with this guy. They have no idea what they could have gotten for their own constituents had they worked with President Trump in the beginning instead of deciding to flip over that table. Believe me, he would have worked with them. I think we could all agree no one thinks that President Trump would have just decided to stand aside and not helped the Democrats get some of the things they want. But they've decided to play this game and they've got most of the people in this country duped into thinking, even the ones who like President Trump, they think, oh yeah, it is a bunch of chaos. It is their chaos. The Democrats caused this. Now, Mike, there's another potential big win for the Republicans yesterday. This is the Supreme Court deciding that it will look at this case challenging states like Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is the big one that actually still count in mail in ballots that come in sometimes days, days after election Day. This is insane, by the way. I don't know how anyone can justify this. I don't like mail in ballots at all, Mike, because mail in ballots by definition are not secret ballots. I don't know who's filling it out. Speaking of abusive husbands, I don't know if there's an abusive husband standing over a wife, making her fill it out. It's not a secret ballot, but days after the election. Boy, the court could really help election integrity here, couldn't they? If they rule correctly.
Mike Crispie
This is such an important case. This is, in my opinion, one of the most important cases they'll hear in the next decade. This Supreme Court case right here, everybody says, and it's so true, that if mail in ballots are counted after election day and you don't know the chain of custody of these ballots, what'll happen is if you're counting them for five days after election day, that gives so much time to malfeasance, to bad actors to dump in mail in ballots coming in in those five days, that is a span of that can shift elections, presidential elections, gubernatorial elections, anything. It is such a dangerous precedent. It wasn't supposed to be like that. Election day is election day. That's what the lower court said, they said on election day, we need to know everything by that time. And that's how it is. Thank God this has moved up to the Supreme Court. And I hope and pray that they act appropriately on this, because everybody knows that if you give somebody five days, okay, especially these cheaters, five days after we know, like, 95% of the results from the in person and early votes, then they're gonna take that number and they're gonna know how many ballots they need to dump in through the mail to cheat. It's absurd. Jake, I'm so happy about this. This is one of the most important things, saving and restoring sanity in our country. I cannot wait to see what happens in this case.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And this kind of cheating is very well documented in America. I urge everyone to read all the Robert Caro books about Lyndon B. Johnson. The first one in particular, the Path to Power and also the Means to Ascent. It describes specifically how LBJ won his first Senate race exactly this way, with a ballot box that they suddenly found that just had that just enough votes for him to win. And by the way, every ballot that they pulled out came out in alphabetical order. It was just so obvious. All right, Mike, let's get to what you and I noticed right away from the New Jersey elections last week. And something very odd about the vote totals for Mikey Sherrill in that New Jersey governor's race. Tell us about that.
Mike Crispie
Well, New Jersey, everyone is talking about it now. It has been riddled with fraud and questions and potential malfeasance. You know, first things first, is that Mikey Sheryl won a historic vote total in the inner cities. Pretty reminiscent of Joe Biden in 2020. Mikey Sheryl got as many votes in the inner city. That's Newark, Camden Patterson, those areas, more votes than any gubernatorial candidate since 1995. When Bar Hussein Obama came to Newark to do a rally with Mikey Sheryl a couple days before the election, they could hardly fill a community college gym. So you're telling me that the enthusiasm was so high to go vote, but when Barack Hussein came, nobody showed up? That's kind of interesting. That's kind of weird. So people are wondering how, like, The Sheryl got 450,000 more votes cast for her than Phil Murphy got in 2021. Jack Chiarelli, who got 122,000 more than than last time. We came up short despite the fact that he lost by 84,000 last time. If you look at the trends, every single year since 1985 to now, the population of the State vis a vis the vote total in the general election. You will notice a very strange jump this time around for that total vote. How it went up by a factor of 400,000. It's a very bizarre phenomenon, the way in which the vote totals have got up. It's not something that we've ever seen like this. Usually it follows a little trend on the graph. It jumped up. I'm telling you, Jake, it reminds me of 2020 with Biden. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's one more thing that I talked about that went very viral on social media, very important, was that registered Republicans were getting text messages telling them, go vote for Mikey Sheryl. I guess it was like an automated text and it had a polling location that wasn't their actual polling location. It was like a misdirection. So were they sending that to Republicans, acting like it was a mistake text message and they wanted them to go vote at the wrong location so their vote would only be counted provisionally and not actually counted on election day. Again, provisional ballots may or may not get counted. That's something that multiple people were telling me that they got that text message. Very, very bizarre. The shenanigans, the inner city vote, the anomalies of the total. Jake, there is so much foulness in this gubernatorial election that people need to talk about. I do not believe it was a 15 point defeat. Did Jack Ciarell? I don't know. But was it closer than what they say? I think for sure people need to look into this. I implore the Trump administration, Alina Haba and everybody else to do so.
Jake Novak
I don't know what you're talking about, Mike. Look at Mikey Sheryl. I look at her and I say, man, street cred. She's got street cred written all over. Of course, the inner city. I mean, what a joke. I mean, they came out to vote for this upper middle class, upper middle class, multimillionaire, what did I call it? Rich woman. I mean, this is just. It's just a joke. There's something funny going on here. Yeah, I agree with you. I don't know if Jack Chitterelli won or not. This is not about being a sore loser. This is about making sure that the next election, which is coming soon, is a little bit. Has a little bit more integrity to it and we can't just wait for the Supreme Court to do this work for us. There's something funny going on with those vote totals. I don't know if it's ballot harvesting or what. Or maybe they're getting into the illegal alien community. I don't know what they're doing, but we need to find this out. And I think if we stay off the top, hey, we're not looking necessarily to overturn the election. We're just looking to make sure that the next election has some integrity. Mike Crispie, thank you so much for joining us as usual and getting up early again. Last call here on Real America's Voice. You gotta check it out. You can get this guy all the time. Thank you. Thank you so much, Mike.
Mike Crispie
Thank you, sir.
Jake Novak
Hey, coming up, there's another angle to the midterms and that's the new media and new technology angle. We'll talk later this hour with a man devoting big effort to, to getting Republicans up to date on that because we're behind. But first, we could be close to saving the Olympic Games before they even start. And yes, this is about trans athletes. American Sunrise early edition will be right back.

It's a live look at the Capitol building right now as the House is set to vote pretty soon to reopen the government formally. Of course, the Senate's done it already. The House is voted for it all the time because they have that slim Republican majority and you don't need a filibuster proof majority in the House. So we know that this is going to pass. And the Democrats really admitting that they lost this whole shutdown battle, I mean, don't take my word for it. They're saying it themselves on their social media posts. Even I saw CNN is acknowledging that the Senate Senate Democrats lost. Kind of interesting to see where that goes. And I'm going to talk to David Brody later in the program about how there could be a bad result for that to the fact that they lost this shutdown in the long run because if they get a more radical leader and you know, sometimes they can even win elections that could be bad. So we'll look at that. But I'm glad this morning that the shutdown's ending and that the Senate Democrats are actually admitting defeat, at least in some way. Now here's another thing I'm happy about as I welcome you all back to American Sunrise, early edition on this Veterans Day. Hey, perhaps some sanity is creeping back into the Olympics. Several reports say the IOC is about to issue a clear ban, clear ban on biological men competing in women events. I'm gonna bring in now former high school athlete and still eligible for the Olympics, Emily Finn. Emily, I think that the incident that really changed everybody's minds about this was just, you know, just a little bit more than a year ago, the Summer Olympics in Paris, 2024, when that Algerian male boxer, the boxer claims is not a man, but he is, not only won the gold medal in Paris last year, but almost really severely injured the woman he was fighting against in one of the, one of the medal rounds. I think that's really what changed everyone's thinking and sad that that's what it took. But sometimes you got to get common sense, literally knocked India literally knocked into you.
Emily Finn
I would say this is a w, this is a win for common sense that the Olympics is finally seeing the light on the safety risks of letting men compete in women's sports. I mean, it is just mind boggling to me, as you mentioned, I was a former high school athlete. I played basketball for 12 years when I was growing up. And I literally cannot imagine what it would have been like to have to compete against men. And of course, we're talking about this high profile case at the Paris Olympics, but that trickles down into all parts of society. I know even just in my hometown in Michigan, the neighboring suburbs, the neighboring areas, that they're dealing with stuff like this as well. And young women are deciding, nope, I'm not going to play. I'm going to forfeit this game. And honestly, Jake, team sports as a young woman, as a young person in general, is so beneficial to your development as a human being. And you do not need to be worried about political issues like this when you're just trying to go out there and shoot some hoops and have fun with your friends and learn how to interact in a team setting.
Jake Novak
Yeah, and it's amazing how these controversies make people stupid. Emily, do you know that the IOC is going to make this decision, but not before they basically paid for a study that showed that, yes, biological males have some advantages when they take on against women in sports. I don't know how much they paid for that study. I promise you, I would have charged them less. They could have got it cheaper for me. I mean, this is, again, it's just so silly, Jake.
Emily Finn
We could have conducted that study for free for them. As a man and a woman, I guarantee that you are stronger than me.
Jake Novak
Well, I don't know. I heard that you have some serious elbows when you do rebounding in basketball and that there's a whole string of female basketball players in Michigan who are still very much scarred by your aggressive play. In the pain.
Emily Finn
They knew the name Emily Finn.
Jake Novak
That's right. They're very worried about it. But anyway, this is a great sign. And you know what? It's great news for Comcast, NBC. Honestly, they're gonna probably get a lot more people watching the Olympics, the Summer Olympics in 2026, the Winter Olympics. We haven't seen too much of this controversy, but there is a little bit of it there. So they should be happy about this and it would be smart. I'm looking at you, Brian Roberts, CEO of Comcast. It would be smart if you celebrated this and really embraced women's sports in a PSA or whatever else you want to do before the Olympics start, because the Winter Olympics are coming soon anyway. Emily, we'll see you soon again in the 8 to 10am hours on American Sunrise. Keep those elbows padded. Please keep it clean, Emily, and we'll see you. We'll see you then.
Emily Finn
No boxing anyone out.
Jake Novak
I got it.
Emily Finn
I got it. No, no promises.
Jake Novak
Boxing out. It's boxing out, not elbowing out.
Emily Finn
That's okay.
Jake Novak
Playing like Kareem over there. Okay. All right. Thank you so much. Hey. The government needs more money. Your money. But he can't fool me. I'll explain when American Sunrise early edition comes right back. Welcome back to American Sunrise.

Edition on this Veterans Day, a day where we celebrate all of our veterans, living and dead. We celebrate them. This is not Memorial Day. Remember. This is a happy day, a joyful day in America and a day of honor. As you can see on the flag pole behind the White House there, they also have the POW MIA flag going. Of course, there are some solemn aspects to this day, but it's not all bad. So there you have it. Let's take a look at where the markets are going to open today. This morning. As you can see, very, very flat there, a little bit of a downward trend there for the Nasdaq, a third of a percent lower. We had a big rally yesterday, especially in the Nasdaq, massive rally in the NASDAQ yesterday, but all the market indices were higher. And that was because the markets were celebrating the end of the government shutdown. The airlines, by the way, all up about 2% each yesterday as the shutdown has been hurting them in particular very badly. So we're going to have that going on. And you can see oil is up a little bit still at the $60 a barrel handle. So not, not that bad. Let's take a look at bitcoin right now because bitcoin also making a well, it's just not really getting much traction. It's over the $100,000 mark, but it's just not quite there. So there you have your look at where the market's going to open today. Again, good numbers yesterday, and they're pretty much holding them this morning. Hey, the Florida attorney general is looking into J.P. morgan Chase bank right now. J.P. morgan Chase Bank. There is evidence, according to the Florida attorney general, that the bank worked with the Biden administration The DOJ under Merrick Garland in that whole Operation Arctic Frost scam, as I like to call it. This is where people who supported President Trump, people connected to President Trump and President Trump himself and his businesses were shut out of certain banking business. Now, this was particularly true of the Trump media, which of course became Truth Social. And the Florida attorney general wants to see if Chase bank illegally stopped Trump and his businesses from getting loans and doing business with that bank. Now, J.P. morgan, Chase shares were up just a little bit yesterday while the rest of the market really soared because there's definitely some worry among shareholders about where this might lead. I don't think Chase is going to be alone on this, but you know Jamie Dimon, who's the CEO of Chase bank, who speaks much more favorably of President Trump these days, and he's been doing that for a couple of years now. There he is. I wonder if maybe he saw this coming and decided to try to get a more friendly tone going before this case erupted. We shall see. That is an interesting story right now. Now, hey, the weight loss wars are over. Well, they're not over, but at least one of the battles is over right now. There was a real bidding war going on for a company called Metsera. Now, Pfizer. And I know when a lot of you hear the word Pfizer, your heads explode when you. And believe me, I understand why. Pfizer doesn't really have a really big weight loss drug on the market like Ozempic or Zepbound or Wegovy. They want one. So they were bidding to buy a company called Medcera Novo Nordisk, which created Ozempic and some of those other drugs, was bidding against them. And investors love a bidding war. Well, the bidding war ended yesterday. Medcera agreed to be bought by Pfizer for $10 billion. And that really disappointed a lot of investors. They're bummed. They wanted this thing to go a lot longer. So Metsra shares dropped 15% on that truncated bidding war. They wanted it to go a lot longer. Pfizer shares are up because they won the bidding war. And Novo Nordisk shares are up because their investors didn't want them to spend too much on Med. Sarah. So everyone wins except for medsara, people who invested in it a couple of days ago. If you invested a couple of months ago, you made money, too. But they were hoping for that bidding war to go on and on. All right, now, folks, listen, I talk a lot about Warren Buffett on this program, and I first want to say something nice about the man he's been one of the greatest, if not the greatest individual investor in modern history. So I'll say that about him. He's certainly a smart person. He's no dope. And one of the things that a really smart person does is he gets people to believe baloney about you. Warren Buffett is the kindly old gentleman who wouldn't hurt his soul and is really, really a nice guy and cares more about America than his own pocket. Is one of the biggest lies that Americans believe all the time. All the financial news operations, cnbc, the Wall Street Journal sometimes, and certainly Bloomberg, they are kissing this guy's butt 24 7. And the mainstream media, the regular channel, CNN, ABC News, I mean, they all do it too. And one of the biggest ways they kiss his butt is they all swallow, hook, line and sinker. This line that Warren Buffet is a very generous man. He's given so much money to charity. Well, you gotta put an asterisk on that. He actually hasn't given any money or time to any charity. He's just promised in writings and in papers to give a lot of his shares of his company to the foundations that his children have run and his friend Bill Gates have run. Now, there's nothing wrong with that. It's not illegal, and there's nothing wrong with that. But this is someone who's done nothing actually directly for any charities. He could have opened a university, he could have opened a hospital. He could have really dedicated his time to that. Again, there's no law against not doing that. But calling him a very big generous man just simply for signing over money to go in the future, shares of a company that he owns to go to a foundation, and that may or may not be actively really spending its money properly and really making an impact is not really. Does not make you the philanthropist of the year. And for those of you who think I'm being too hard on him, read Ron Chernow's book Titan, about John D. Rockefeller, who was not the nicest man in the world, but worked very hard for specific charities while he was alive. Places like Rockefeller University and saving people in the south who were dealing with all kinds of diseases as well. Read about Andrew Carnegie and what he did to set up the library system in America. But those of you who think the public libraries in America are some kind of socialist policy, the reason why we have branch libraries in this country is because of Andrew Carnegie. He donated the money for them. Yes, they are publicly run now, but it's not an example of socialism success. It's an Example of a rich person donating and being hands on in a particular charity. Warren Buffett has never been hands on with anything. Okay, coming up, we're going to be taking a look at technology. Do people like Zoran Mamdani and other people like that get into the office because they use technology? I'm going to talk about that in just a minute. But first, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Moving America. Sponsored by artilleryt.com artillerytco.com and that's where you can go and get use America and get 25 off of your first order. Artillerytea.com rav that's where you get all of these discounts and you can buy it right here. We love Artillery Tea. Again, special because they are veteran owned and operated and a portion of their proceeds go to veteran and first responders here in America. And I love that. I think we all love that. And that's key. Hey, the government shutdown was actually really good for car rental companies. Car rental companies did really well during the government shutdown, including and perhaps most prominently Hertz. Here's the problem. The government shut down. Everyone knows it's going to end. And we learned about that yesterday. So Hertz shares went down. You know, when your stock goes down and the rest of the market is rallying as hard as it did yesterday, you know, there's something really bad going on there. But listen, not without a bunch of profits for the gains for those stocks that started just a few weeks ago, several weeks ago when the shutdown really hit. Here's why the rental companies did so well. People went to the airports and they found out that their flights were hopelessly delayed or canceled. And then they jumped over to the rental car desk in the other part of the airport and rented cars one way. So let's say they were in Minneapolis and they needed to get to St. Louis and they drove the rental car all the way to St. Louis. They had to get there for business or for a family event. And those one way rentals are really more profitable for the rental car companies than when you rent the car and then return it to the same place. So this was a nice three months or so, or I should say really just a month and a half or so for the rental car companies. It's come to an end. And that's how that, that's how that has ended for them. And I feel sorry for them, I guess, but not too sorry. Hey, Kia is unreal. Unveiling the taking a look here. This is their new Telluride. This is going to be available for sale early next year. So it's officially. I love when car companies do this, when they release a car in one year and they actually say it's another. Officially this will be the 2027 Kia Telluride, but it's actually coming out in 2026. Anyway. This is going to be a big, big car for them. They are a company. I got to give Kia and Hyundai a lot of credit. This is a company that was in deep trouble with all the ways that people were hacking and buying and breaking into this car. The Kia Telluride is a big reason why this company has succeeded. It came out in 2019, the Telluride. So this is the new one. You can see it's bigger. The kia telluride. Now MSRP is $33,000. This new one is going to cost more. And can you guess what they're looking for here? If you guess that they're looking to make the car look like the Range Rover, you'd be right. That's what they're going for right now. All right, got a little bit of a truncated Moving America this morning. We'll get more car stories for you tomorrow. Again, when we come back, we're going to talk to a tech expert who's explaining that people like Zoran Mamdani and AOC may have won their elections because of technology. Things like TikTok. Are the Republicans ready for this? We'll be right back with a guy who's got a plan. Stay with us here on American Sunrise. Early edition on this Veterans Day.

It's Tuesday, November 11th. Here are this morning's top stories. It's over. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats lose the shutdown battle as the Senate votes to reopen the government with no significant concessions from the Republicans. Now Schumer will have to face the rage of the far left in his party, which is just about all of his party. They want to oust him as minority leader now, but it's it will take a while for things to get back to what we call normal at our major airports. President Trump is ordering air traffic controllers to get back to work right away. Chicago has become the hottest battleground in the new American Civil War as attacks on ICE agents in the Windy City get even more core, ordinated, sophisticated and deadly. One illegal alien has been arrested after after someone fired a gun at ICE agents in Chicago over the weekend. And the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case against one of the fishiest election practices in America, the fact that some states actually count mail in ballots that come in days after election Day. How is this allowed? If the court rules correctly, the justices could do a lot with this case to restore election in integrity. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION continues now. Welcome back to AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. It is a Veterans Day Tuesday here in America, celebrating all of our veterans, living, dead, active duty, retired, all that kind of stuff. What a great day this is in America, especially if we observe it properly. It is a joyful day. It is not a day of mourning. Of course, those of you who do have loved ones who fall, who fell on the line of duty, I'm not going to tell you when and how to mourn. But for the rest of us, this is a time for us to be very, very happy and appreciative of our veterans with a smile on our face and not crying all the time. That is not, that's for Memorial Day. And the rest of the news media always conflates it because people in the mainstream news media, not only are they not veterans, they don't know any veterans. They really don't. Maybe they remember their grandpa. Anyway, that's what's going on right there. Also, just wanted to give you a slight update on that Chicago story, which I wasn't able to dig into as much as I'd like to today, but there was an illegal alien from Mexico who had gun charges on his record. They're not telling him us his name, but who has been arrested. There were shots fired towards ICE agents in a neighborhood in Chicago over the weekend while they were rounding up illegal aliens. Again, as you know, the governor of Illinois, J.B. pritzker, and the mayor, Mayor Johnson of Chicago, have been encouraging, and I'm going to say it flat out, they have been encouraging violence against ICE agents and that violence is coordinated. There are people who are mapping the ICE agents movements. They are following them around. This is a very sophisticated attack on the federal government. Chicago is again another Fort Sumter in America. This is like a Confederate attack on our federal people. This is absolutely outrageous. Anyway, thank goodness no ICE agents were hit in that shooting, but they have arrested someone in connection with it, an illegal alien from Mexico with surprise, surprise gun charges on his record. How was this person in this country, but more importantly, how can our elected leaders defend not deporting someone like this, defend people who are blocking the deportation of someone like that? Just incredible. Well, there's a lot of other incredible things going on in the world of technology. And joining us now to help us with that and how that to tell us how that plays a role in our politics is the founder of Freedom Chat. His name is Tanner Haas. Tanner, I want to ask you first, I'm going to go from the top down here and get more granular in a second, but I need to ask you a general question. Here Are some of these radical Democrat candidates, people like Zoran Mamdani, specifically winning elections not because of cheating at the ballot box necessarily, not because there's so many people who have come to this country who don't know what America is all about and they think that we should be socialists? Are they winning because of technologies like TikTok and other social media technologies? Is that a reason why they're getting an edge.
Tanner Haas
100%? I mean, they have utilized TikTok and some of these other viral technologies to such a degree, it just proliferates onto itself. The younger generation, they want free things. They want. And he says that. And then it goes viral and it just proliferates into something that takes on a life of its own. And if you take this back into, let's say, 60 years, 50 years, where it's only based on merit, based on actual policies, you would have no chance. So I'd say, without a doubt, technology plays an important role.
Jake Novak
You know, Tanner, I can buy that when it comes to younger candidates like AOC and Zohra mom, Donnie, I can see that that would really work for them. That gets those younger voters out, that's speaking their language. But, you know, last week we had Abigail Spanberger, who looks a lot older than she really is, and Mikey Sherrill, who's a rich woman from, from the fancy suburbs in New Jersey. I mean, are you really. Am I supposed to believe that TikTok and some of this other technology really helps the people who use that technology more frequently want to vote for people like this again? I mean, and this. Listen, there's an old men running in the Republican Party and old women running in the Republican Party too. This isn't just a Democrat thing, but I got to tell you. Cool. And people running for office don't usually jive that well, do they?
Tanner Haas
No, they don't. Trump has brought back the personality of somebody running for office. Most of the time it's been very bland. I, I mean, they have utilized these technologies quite well. This viral three second attention span that everybody has these days, they've utilized that quite well. And that's why you see the rise of the younger Democrats. They're not Democrats. Socialists. Mandani, AOC is because they've been able to connect with these younger voters that don't know anything. They don't know any different. So the first thing that they hear on a platform is, oh, this should be free. You should get this. The world's against you. They grab onto that. It. Their attention span is on that video. And then they're shown more content like that and then they show it to their friends and it really does take on a life of its own. So it's, I mean, they've done a great job of utilizing these. I mean, TikTok is not an American company and it's shown to be incredibly biased towards pro Palestinian views, towards socialist Democratic views. So is that fair play? I am not quite sure, but it's helped them immensely.
Jake Novak
Tanner, our Phones are definitely listening to us. I think we all have stories about how we're having a conversation with someone. We know our phone was in our pocket or on a table somewhere, and then suddenly ads pop up for something that we were talking about in the conversation. Sometimes you don't even have to talk about it. I have a retainer that I use at night, and in the morning I'm just brushing it and I know that my phone is next to it when I'm doing that. And sure enough, ads for retainer cleaners have popped up on my feeds. I know that this is part of the reason why you started Freedom chat, isn't it?
Tanner Haas
100%. It's kind of disgusting. So these, these same companies, whether that's WhatsApp, Snapchat, Telegram, Signal, Facebook, any of these companies, they rely on an immense amount of user data. And the more user data they have, and that's what people like. Data has become this ambiguous term. Well, it's not just data. It quite literally canon is listening to your microphone to better serve you ads. It takes your political affiliation, financial information, who you're talking to and when you're talking to them. And what prompted Freedom Chat was when I dove into the rabbit hole and was, well, why is there an increase to Social Security numbers being hacked? Why are credit card fraud attempts, like, people think these are random? No, it's because your email was leaked somewhere that shouldn't have been leaked. Your, your birthday, your metadata, which includes everything that I've just discussed, Your, your pictures, your images. I mean, it's, it's really a violation of. I believe privacy is a fundamental human right, and what's going on now is a violation of that. So Freedom Chat is the antithesis of all these other companies. We have no commercial use of user data. I believe what I send to you, Jake, is nobody else's business. That's why it's end to end. Encrypted. We remove everything from our servers. Once it's successfully delivered, you can edit, unsend, self destruct, anything. We prevent screenshots and screen recordings. So we're giving people their privacy back. In a world that is trying to really get rid of people's privacy.
Jake Novak
It'S privacy to me is one of those battles that just when you think you've lost it, there's another battle that you've lost. I mean, I remember I worked on a privacy project dating myself here 32 years ago in Washington D.C. at the Woodrow Wilson center for Scholars, which is a think tank, a publicly funded think tank. And there was a scholar there writing a book about privacy and he bemoaning the fact that people who go to the hospital and people who get divorced in America lose their privacy. Boy, that's nothing. I mean, there is no privacy in America right now. And it's not just because people are being too open with their thoughts and things like that. We are really being spied on now. Listen, Tanner, if it were just to sell us stuff, that would be bad enough. It's a little. I feel, I feel intrusive. It feels intrusive. Of course, I also laugh about it because, you know, here's a, here's a news alert. You don't need to spy on Jake Novak to know that I'm interested in ads for grills and Mets tickets. I mean, the billions of dollars of AI and whatever technology they use to find that out, you know, pat yourself on the back, you didn't need the technology to figure that out. But okay, but it's worse than that, right? Because we know now that Google and Meta colluded with the Biden administration to not just spy on us and to report people for posting things, but to silence us. And I was a victim of that. I had video evidence of a ballot that was really not properly filled out, illegally filled out by a computer, pre filled out in a lot of states, that's illegal. You can't sign a pre filled out ballot. You got to do it yourself. I showed video that a few days before election day in 2020 on my social media sites and I mean, I really got slammed for that. I mean, they put it in the newspapers. How terrible. I mean, they literally tried to dox me over this. So I'm sure Freedom Chat also got its inspiration from stuff like that.
Tanner Haas
It absolutely did. It isn't just to better serve people ads like it is a full fledged invasion. What can we do with this person's information? How can it further our agenda? And usually the agenda doesn't align with people that are pro American. And it's very fitting that today we're talking about this on Veterans Day, which thank you to all the veterans out there because they're the reason that we're able to talk about stuff like this first world type problems that I'm able to work at a computer for, for a living. But I believe privacy is a prerequisite for freedom. And you need your privacy. You need to be able to maintain your identity. What you talk about is nobody else's damn business. And that's how you continue a constitutional republic, a real Democracy is not invading people's privacy. And these other companies, it's really been, oh, it's to service ads. No, it is so much deeper than that. There is some nefarious activity going on and what you just shared, the story you just shared is a perfect example of that.
Jake Novak
Yeah, well, you know, remember when the abortion battle goes on, they always talk, the left always talks about the right to privacy. I just wish they believed in that. I think we could actually have a bipartisan right to privacy movement in this country if it weren't for the fact that a huge part of our voting voters in this country actually don't want privacy. They just want to attack the other side. Hatred is the number one motivator, not a belief in the right to privacy in politics right now. And I'm just so sick of it. But Tanner Haas and Freedom Chat are trying to fight for everyone else. I appreciate it, Tanner. Have a great rest of your week. We will check back in with you. You need to be the guy to tell us about these new technologies when they come out. Thank you.
Tanner Haas
Thank you so much, Jake.
Jake Novak
Okay, coming up, by all accounts, it sure seems like the Republicans won the shutdown battle. I don't think there's any denial denying that. But could they lose the war? Thanks to this, David Brody and I will discuss when American Sunrise Early Edition comes right back.

That's a live look at Fort Sumter. I mean Chicago, Illinois, where they are really coordinating and probably with criminal organizations like the Latin Kings groups in Chicago are coordinating their attacks on ICE agents. I just told you at the beginning of this half hour about how shots were fired at ICE agents over the weekend in Chicago. They have arrested an illegal alien, an illegal alien from Mexico with gun charges on his record. Don't have his name yet, at least not officially released in connection with that. But this isn't just a bunch of small anti Fox folks. This, this really feels much more coordinated than that. And if I had to bet they will find a trail back to Brandon Johnson's office or even JB Pritzker's office on all of this tipping off people. This is, this is, this is like a Civil war Confederacy. Radical. Speaking of radicals, look, the Democrats lost the shutdown battle. This is something even they are admitting. Don't take my word for it. Go on social media. Look at that video by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. It looks like he's going to cry. They're all admitting that they lost this and they're angry about it. Tim Kaine admitting it. Listen, again, not my opinion. This is an objective fact. They lost the shutdown battle and boy, taking away all the momentum they tried to gin up after winning those off year elections last week, it's gone for them just like that. But as much as I'm happy about that, happy that they've lost, I don't think they're going to learn their lesson. David Brody's to bring you in. I think they're going to get even more radical. There is now a major push to get rid of Chuck Schumer as the Senate Minority Leader. I can only imagine that they're gonna wanna try to put in place someone even more radical, someone even more dangerous. And because sometimes elections are a coin flip, David, they could win. We could have a much more radical Democrat running the Senate after the midterm elections next year. So we gotta be careful about this. I don't know what the best way to respond to it is, but we can't put our head in the sand. We could get something worse out of this as opposed to better.
David Brody
I think Chuck Schumer could be in a whole lot of trouble as it relates to potential Senate race. But in terms of his leadership position, I don't see it. Jake, I'm not quite sure what sourcing you're seeing this morning, but my source is telling me that Chuck Schumer's job pretty much safe for this point. The last thing the Democrats want right now, and I'm talking about institutional Democrats, I'm talking about the base, but the Institutional Democrats here in Congress, the last thing they want is to have any sort of sideshow with Chuck Schumer going into the 2026 midterm election. Now, the base is angry. The progress progressive base of the party is angry. And I'll be honest with you, the progressive base will always be angry. So, so you can put, let's just say, pie in the sky, never going to happen. Let's say Bernie Sanders, all right, Is the, is the majority leader, minority leader, whatever you want to call it, ultimately it won't matter because they're going to be angry at Bernie Sanders ultimately, because Bernie Sanders, it's all about the position, right? Look at Mike Johnson. It's the same thing, right? Mike Johnson is a solid, a straight up guy who's gonna vote with Republicans all the time. But when you're put into his House speaker role where you actually have to govern, it becomes much different. I'm not trying to get put, give Chuck Schumer a break here at all, But I'm just saying that the position makes it a problem. And so it doesn't matter if Bernie Sanders is in that position. The base will be upset at him somehow, some way. So I don't think ultimately that that's all gonna come out at some point. The bottom line is they'll be frustrated no matter what.
Jake Novak
That's what I'm trying to say. We have to find one of those illegal betting apps that tells us how we can bet on Schumer making or not we can make it. But anyway, American Sunrise, the big show's coming up next. I'll see you tomorrow on early. You know what your customers are doing right this second? The exact same thing. You are listening to me, which, let's be honest, is kind of flattering. But my point Is, ads on iHeartRadio actually get heard in the car, at the gym, or on the couch while people are walking their dogs. Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? You're a good boy.
Mike Crispie
That's right, dude.
Jake Novak
You're a good. So why not make the next ad about you? Get started today. Call 844-844-IHEART or go to iheartadvertising.com. that's 844-844-iheart or iheartadvertising.com this is an iheart podcast.
Host: Jake Novak
Guests: Mike Crispie, Emily Finn, Tanner Haas, David Brody
Date: November 11, 2025
This episode of American Sunrise Early Edition focuses on major current events and controversies impacting American politics, election integrity, and culture—delivered with Real America’s Voice's signature perspective on faith, freedom, and American values. On Veterans Day, Jake Novak and guests analyze the end of the government shutdown, concerns over election security and integrity, mainstream media narratives, technological impacts on elections, and the issue of transgender athletes in women’s sports.
"This is a day that we honor all veterans and it is a joyous day. So please remember that... People think that Veterans Day is a mournful day or a sad day. It’s not. It should be fun. We should be smiling."
Segment Start: 04:00
"I thought they were gonna try to spin this and pretend like they won. They’re not. I’m seeing Senator after senator, other Democrats going on social media, and they look very much like they’ve lost. They’re very angry, they’re very sad. This is an utter failure." (04:53)
"They’re just trying to run out the clock every single day that President Trump is in office... These are obstructionists." (05:59) "Trump knows their playbook by now, obviously being in his second term... He did not cave. And they knew...they are admitting defeat for now." (06:30)
Memorable Metaphor (Jake Novak, 07:16):
“This is like Trump coming to sit at the table with the Democrats... and then their response to it is to flip over the table, destroy the dinner, destroy the dining room, and then they say look what you made me do. I mean, this is like a domestic abuse situation.”
Segment Start: 08:35
Key Supreme Court Case:
Jake and Mike Crispie discuss the Supreme Court’s decision to hear a case on states (notably Pennsylvania) counting mail-in ballots days after Election Day.
"This is insane. I don’t know how anyone can justify this."
"If you’re counting them for five days after election day, that gives so much time to malfeasance, to bad actors to dump in mail-in ballots... It is such a dangerous precedent..."
Historical Context: Jake references Lyndon B. Johnson’s notorious first Senate race for context on election “shenanigans” (10:33).
2025 NJ Gubernatorial Concerns:
Mike Crispie documents bizarre voting trends and tech-based manipulation:
"Mikey Sheryl got as many votes in the inner city... more votes than any gubernatorial candidate since 1995." (11:11)
"When Barack Hussein came [to campaign], nobody showed up. So you’re telling me the enthusiasm was so high to go vote, but when Barack Hussein came, nobody showed up?" (11:40)
"Registered Republicans were getting text messages telling them, ‘Go vote for Mikey Sheryl....’ with the wrong polling location. Was this to get their vote counted only provisionally…?" (12:32)
Segment Start: 17:39
"This is a win for common sense... I literally cannot imagine what it would have been like to have to compete against men."
"We could have conducted that study for free for them... As a man and a woman, I guarantee that you are stronger than me." (20:57)
Segment Start: 25:51
"He actually hasn’t given any money or time to any charity... he’s just promised in writings... to give shares to foundations..." (30:43)
Segment Start: 38:03
Interview: Tanner Haas, Founder of Freedom Chat
Are Democrats Winning with Tech?
"They have utilized TikTok and some of these other viral technologies to such a degree, it just proliferates onto itself."
Tech’s Effect on Down-Ballot Races:
Surveillance and Privacy:
"These same companies... rely on an immense amount of user data. And that's what people like. Data has become this ambiguous term. Well, it's not just data... it canon is listening to your microphone to better serve you ads."
"Privacy to me is one of those battles that just when you think you've lost it, there's another battle that you've lost."
Segment Start: 38:03, revisited at 53:29
"Chicago is again another Fort Sumter in America. This is like a Confederate attack on our federal people. This is absolutely outrageous."
Segment Start: 55:25
"My source is telling me that Chuck Schumer’s job [is] pretty much safe... Institutional Democrats here in Congress... the last thing they want is to have any sort of sideshow with Chuck Schumer going into the 2026 midterm election." (55:25)
