But Kimmel has an uphill battle. But the fight to keep Charlie Kirk's memory alive is seeing a lot more success. A massive funeral and memorial service is set for this Sunday. And Kirk's wife, Erica has accepted the role as the new leader of Turning Point usa. In other news. You knew this was going to happen. President Trump is now asking the Supreme Court to take up the Lisa Cook case. He wants the high court to uphold his firing of the Fed governor as soon as possible. They call it the most dangerous call the cops ever get. A domestic violence situation. And that's what prosecutors in York, Pennsylvania say is what led to three officers being shot to death and two others critically wounded. And space age warfare is here. Israel's Iron Beam, which uses laser pulses instead of anti ballistic missiles to shoot down threats, is now fully operational. And wait until you hear how much it costs. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY Edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. Your good deeds and bad deeds, that's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American Sunrise EARLY EDITION with your host Jake Novak starts now. Hey, everybody. Welcome to this no tie Friday here in American Sunrise EARLY edition. Despite what I say in that little intro, I'm not really here to judge you, but if I were, I would judge you on your good deeds and bad deeds. But I'm not very judgy, I promise. It's been again, an interesting couple of days. It's been another very eventful week, a lot of things to discuss, a lot of things still in flux. And helping us to do that right now is American Sunrise Early Edition, legal and political contributor Dr. James Nuzzo. Jim, this Jimmy Kimmel story, I hate to talk about him so much. I only want to talk about him just once right here. I'd rather talk about Charlie Kirk. And we will in a second. But Kimmel attacked Charlie Kirk's mourners. There's this, I think, false narrative going on that Kimmel is off the air now because he attacked President Trump. Listen, that isn't exactly endearing him to millions of Americans either. It does to some. We get that. But, but this is why he's in trouble. He went after his mourners and people who have skin in the game for these programs, the affiliates. This is a business decision they're looking at this and saying, I'm already losing money on this guy cuz his ratings are low. I don't think I can risk here in my local station, here in Indiana or in Minnesota having this guy on my air. And that's what's going on here. Jim, you're exactly right. I'm gonna take actually a position which most Republicans or conservatives don't. I'm actually disappointed that Kimmel's off the air. And the reason I'm disappointed the Kimmel's off the air is because I don't like Disney and I like the fact that we're losing money. I'd like them to lose a lot, lot more money by getting rid of Kimmel. They get rid of a loss leader. No, put Kimmel back, have his readings go into the even the deeper toilet, lose even more money. If I was a Republican, I wouldn't want this guy off. I'd want Disney bankruptcy. That's the way to do it. Yeah, that's a good point. There's a lot of loss leaders in television that have to do with politics, that have to do with things that really don't exist anymore. They use these shows and some of these vehicles. They have to lobby a left wing government that isn't currently in power. And maybe they're figuring that out too. Jim, let's talk about some of the positive results of the fact that the conservatives and I think really the normies, just normal people out there, have now been really ignited by not only this horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, but the response to it. And so I ask you this question because this is something that people have noted. We saw this in 2018, we saw it in 2022. Will this be something that ignites the public to do what they didn't do in those two other midterm elections and show up and vote in huge numbers, maybe even bigger numbers than they did in the presidential elections and make 2026 for Charlie Kirk. One of the problems that Donald Trump has is that he is very bad about turning, doing turnout when he is not on the battle, sorry, on the ballot box. And so 26 was one of those in which they didn't know as to whether they were going to be able to turn out these sort of low propensity voters. The one thing about Turning Point USA's increasing visibility, Charlie Kirk's unfortunate assassination is that you are now energized a whole generation, not just a generation, but a whole movement who is going to want to take revenge. President Trump had talked about Wanting to have a mini convention in 26. This has been tried before, but without much success. I have a sneaking suspicion, one, it will happen, and two, it'll be a Charlie Kirk Love Festival. And the whole thing is going to be do this for Charlie with the not only consent, but the promotion on the people from Turning Point usa. This actually could be exactly what their name suggests, a turning point. They have unleashed a very, very large and angry bear. And I think the Democrats have not a clue as to what this all will mean for them. Jim, you know, getting people motivated to vote because of Charlie Kirk's assassination is one thing. I think that's a very positive development. But let's face it, there are some negative developments. People taking advantage of this horrific incident, as they would with any incident, any horrific incident in human history, There are people who are going to try to take advantage of it. And I really was very, very much interested and intrigued by an interview that our David Brody did with Charlie Kirk's pastor. And one of the things that the pastor talked about was just this scenario, just this phenomenon of people trying to take advantage of it. Here's what he had to say. Check it out. Everyone wants to speculate about Charlie, and it's profitable to speculate about Charlie. You can put some assumptions, some innuendo. You can take things out of context. You can fabricate things to build your case and put Charlie on your side. It's exactly what happened with Abraham Lincoln. Everyone wanted a piece of the man when he died. And everyone said I was his best friend and I was this and I was that. And they used it for their benefit to sell something. Well, as everyone was, was texting me and asking, is this true? Is this true? Is this true? Because everyone is. Is putting out stuff about Charlie as though it's. It's the time to do. We haven't even. We haven't even said goodbye to him. His family's still grieving, and everyone's trying to profit from this. And I just simply said, if you're a Christian, stop it. This idea of running around concerning yourself. If Charlie aligns with you, there's an awakening in the country. Instead of talking to man about man, with all of your agendas, talk to God about man. Lord, would you comfort Erica? Lord, would you comfort the kids? Would you comfort his mom and his dad and his sister and all of Turning Point, Jim, what an important message. I mean, you know, and that's one of the things that I like to try to set out when I start talking about this story. First I'm reporting on this story because I think it's very, very important. And I think the American people should know some of the factors about it. And we just want to keep people informed. But, you know, I'm not out there selling Charlie Kirk T shirts or conspiracy theories about he died, but. And I wish there wasn't anyone who was doing that, but there are people doing that, aren't there? It's as long as human history. I mean, first of all, I was never a great fan of the dog collar that priests wear. But after watching the sartorial splendor of the pastor, I long for the days of the black shirt, the dog collar. God, the guy is really needs to have a makeover. But beyond that, the whole idea of capitalizing on tragedy, this goes on thousands of years. If you read ancient Greek history, you see the same thing. If you read. If you read the Bible, you see the same thing. There's nothing new under the sun. This happens all the time. When a major figure dies. There's an old Irish song about, you know, I knew so and so. I mean, this, this is just what happens. And I'm kind of surprised that it's even an issue because this is what happens. This is human nature. Yeah. I think that the difference is we have people like that pastor and shows like this program and others that are really just keeping to the facts. Yes, I do believe there was radicalization of the person who shot Charlie Kirk. I do believe that there may have been more material help given to him. But as far as. But until we have the evidence otherwise, we have a pretty open and shut case, it looks like. Of course, we can't convict this person 100%. We'll see how this goes. But honestly, this is a story that we've seen a million times already in this country. Young, radicalized people acting out violently, increasingly so from the left, in fact almost exclusively so in recent years. And there is a larger conspiracy of this problem in America. But honestly, you don't have to go stretched that far. We. We see who's responsible to this, don't we? Yeah, I mean, look, I'm actually kind of sick and tired of this. Look, Charlie Cook was a wonderful fellow. He was incredibly important. He was profoundly important. Many people have said that for the Generation Z and Generation Alpha that this was their JFK moment, and I have no doubt about that. But when I watch another TV station who runs for three hours in the evening, a three hour. How Charlie Cook was a great guy. And it is now eight days long, later, there are much more important issues that are news. This is important. Yes. It's not news. One of the points that you are going to get to, which has to do with the transformation of warfare, probably the largest transformation of warfare since the Second World War, is in fact, a much bigger story. It has gotten lost. There's a chance you may not get to it tonight. Why? Because we're talking about Charlie Cook. And as important as Charlie Cook is, and has been enough already. Well, it's one of those things where I think Charlie would like us to talk about some of these other issues, including illegal immigration. You told me on the phone last night that you were worried about the story in. About. In North Carolina about the Ukrainian refugee Irina Zarutska and the fact that he was murdered by not an illegal alien, but murdered by someone who had been let go 14 times. These are the things Charlie Kirk fought for. And what's happened to her story, it's been pushed off down on the front page. It's been first off the full section, frankly, for you and me. We aren't going to, unfortunately, thank God, are not going to suffer Charlie Kirk's fate. We very well could suffer the Iranian immigrants fate. And that's the one really, that should be taking a much larger role. And unfortunately, because of Charlie Cook's horrific, disgusting assassination, she's been pushed off again, not just the front page, but the front section, the A section. The A reel, if you will, of television. It may be mentioned in the last 10 minutes of a TV show. And that's just too bad. Well, you know, that's a good point that I think Charlie Kirk wouldn't want us to forget the absolutely important burning issues of the day right now, and that's one of them. He, of course, made fighting back against the lax approach to law and order in America and having that change. That was a huge part of his message. That is a good point. If you really want to honor Charlie Kirk, honor those things that he fought for. He doesn't need another T shirt or another memorial necessarily. Although I will say the country does need this national. This national funeral that's going to be on Sunday. And that could be. There's no doubt about it. Again, the national funeral, what we're seeing today, it's no different than the Canterbury Tales. This is as old as human history. We need closure. The funeral on Sunday will be a profoundly important piece of closure. Psychologically, I hope it is not closure. Politically, I hope that the conservatives are able to be able to take Charlie Cook's disgusting death and use it for political capital. And it sounds like Erica is just the person to lead it. I am delighted that TP USA unanimously has made her Charlie's successor. The speech that she gave was among the greatest speeches I've ever heard. And she's a non politician. She's a non pro. There wasn't someone who actually wrote these remarks that she just happened to read straight out. It was a cry from the heart. And if you watch that and you weren't moved, well, you don't have a heart. That's a very good point. All right, Dr. James Nezzo, thank you so much for joining us. Some hard truths, but also some work to do. We have some work to do. All right, coming up, take my Fed Governor, please. President Trump wants to ditch Fed Governor Lisa Cook. You've known that. But now he's directly asking the supreme to take care of this and finally settle the dispute. And later, it's the holy grail of big Pharma, a pill that can do the same things as those injectable weight loss drugs. Are we there yet? Because they've been trying. American Sunrise, early edition. A live shot there of the U.S. capitol Building in Washington D.C. looks like a quiet morning in D.C. it's a Friday. I don't think those people work on Friday, so lucky for them, they beat the traffic. Joining us now is real America's Voice contributor Emily Finn. And Emily, you know I was really captivated. You spoke yesterday with a now former local news anchor about this really interesting moment in her career. Check it out. So if you do one thing today, make it be with passion, with conviction, stand up for your friends, stand up for your beliefs and speak loudly. Even if your voice shakes, your words have meaning, your values have purpose. Never forget that. Thank you, ck. You changed my life. That was Benny Rae Harmony. You spoke to her later yesterday on American Sunrise program. For those of you who don't know, she was a local news anchor. She decided to do that on air moment that on air editorial which she couched as such and she was fired over it. Now look, a lot of us are upset about people saying nasty things about Charlie Kirk unsolicited. And we're happy to see them lose their jobs over because goodness, if you're celebrating a death, I don't know how I can relate to you, but here's someone who was giving a positive message. Even if you don't like Charlie Kirk, she was giving a positive message. She was basically saying positive things to people, and they axed her over it. Tell us a little bit about what she had to say about that and just your overall thoughts. Yeah, you know, Benny was a very, very sweet girl. When we had a chance to talk to her yesterday, I fully believe that she was well intended with this message that she put out. I mean, the death of Charlie Kirk hit a lot of people really, really hard. The manner in which he was assassinated, the videos that were circulating online, I can understand the place that she was at, where her emotions came from here. But, Jake, I think we all know as journalists that if you go to your place of employment and you say, I want to do this tribute, and they tell you, no, there's going to be consequences, you can expect there to be consequences. So I think that she saw that this was coming and she made a decision herself to still put this statement out. You know, I admire that she was staying strong. And how refreshing that we saw someone that, you know, wanted to make a tribute and wanted to honor Charlie as opposed to all of the celebrations and messages of hatred that we've been seeing, you know, circulating from the left. So, again, I think her message was well intended. Was it the right platform to be doing that? Could she have done it on her social media and then not come into an employment situation? I'm not really sure. But when I spoke to her, she is sticking by her decision. She stands very, very strong with what she said. And at the end of the day, it was a beautiful tribute to Charlie. He really, especially for young people, made a tremendous, tremendous impact and continues to. So I think that she is sticking by what she said. Jake. Yeah, you know, again, the points are very well taken. You know, is this the right platform? I mean, after all, it's local news. Aren't they really just doing stories about pets and weather? I get it. I worked in local news for six years in Bangor, Maine, Decatur, Illinois, Cleveland, Ohio, and then back here in New York. I know about the proper setting and the improper settings and all that. However, again, this is a positive message. Had she said something hateful, had she said something off color, you could say something. But also for this local station, maybe they should have tried a way, found a way to capitalize on this. We were just talking about not trying to capitalize on Charlie Kirk's murder. This wouldn't have been that. This would have been capitalizing on someone who got very emotional on the air. People know her, and there's people who might not even like what she did, who will tune in every night just to see what she would do next. That's just the impresario in me, Emily. But again, you spent some time in local news. There weren't a lot of people who. Even at the local news level, it feels like people have already lost their convictions. Right? I mean, they're already just not even. They're already jaded, aren't they? I must admit, I actually never did local news. You know, I went straight out, straight out to San Diego, went straight national after college. You know, I saw that local was dying even five, six years ago when I was graduating. And I feel bad for my friends that took that path and feel bad for Benny too, obviously. You know, like I said, I think she was extraordinarily well intended with the message that she wanted to put out. And I think the real story and where we should be putting the spotlight now is on the local station that she worked at. What has their statement been? What is their response to all of this? And the people in that community, again with the local news station industry across the country kind of dying as it is, they're going to lose viewers because of this. And so they're going to have to do something to be able to reestablish trust of all of the people like Benny, Ray, Harmony were heartbroken and were mourning Charlie's death in that community as well. Well, bottom line is everyone, you've just learned, Emily, Emily Finn was a lot smarter with her career choice. No, no local news for me. Yeah, yeah, just really career choices go with Emily. All right, we'll see you in the 9 to 10 to 10am hour. Thank you so much. Thank you, Jake. And no, I'm not kidding. I have spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh over the last several months. My daughter has moved there. It is an awesome place to live, especially if you're a sports fan. But even if you aren't, it is a beautiful city. It is up and coming and compared to New York, Los Angeles and Chicago and D.C. it's dirt cheap. I don't even tell my New York neighbors what my daughter's paying in rent for a beautiful large apartment. It gives them heart attacks. All right, let's take a look where the markets begin today and hope that doesn't give you a heart attack. And it certainly won't because take a look. Very tame looking market board today. I don't care if you're a bull or a bear, this is not going to give you a heart attack. Flat, flat, flat on pretty much everywhere you look. Even gold only up seven bucks. And crude oil also down, but just a little bit. Let's take a look where bitcoin. Maybe bitcoin will provide some cardio excitement a little bit. It's down 1,000 bucks, but we're at 116, about where it's been for the last 10 days or so. Hey. President Trump has filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court. We knew this was going to happen. I don't know why we have to wait and go through this whole process. But anyway, he's filed this emergency appeal to the Supreme Court to try to get Lisa Cook, the Fed governor he fired. Fired for real. You might remember a federal judge ruled that the administration hadn't satisfied the four cause, quote, for cause, end quote, requirement to fire a Fed governor. Again, this is all stems from Lisa Cook's apparent mortgage fraud. Again, that hasn't been proven yet. On and on down the line, it's one of those weird things about America where suddenly every federal employee believes that they have the right to go to the Supreme Court every time they get fired or not. I don't even think that there needs to be a for cause. It's just one of those things. The president should be able to fire these people who work in the executive branch. These unaccountable bureaucracies really scare me. And they should scare you too. All right, intel, as you know, intel, the company, it's in big trouble. And one of the biggest reasons why is because it didn't make the huge investment and leap into AI chips. AI computer chips. Nvidia did. And you know what that ended up doing? That made Nvidia the richest company in the world. But interestingly enough, Nvidia is now throwing Intel a lifeline. A $5 billion lifeline, by the way. They should throw me a lifeline. They are going to now invest with intel in new data centers, other and some AI projects, but mostly chips for PCs. And they're going to have a partnership. This is, by the way, a very smart move by Nvidia. When you become the big dog, when you become the richest company in the world like they have, you know you're going to breed a lot of resentment. This is a great way to avoid that. Work with the company. Intel is good at some things still, let's be honest. This is a very smart move by Nvidia. I think this is more about PR and survival than it is about making more money. They'll probably make some money from this. But anyway, intel shares were up 23% in one day yesterday because of this news. And you can understand why. All right, there's a company called Novo Nordisk. Every time I see that, I think they make computer disks, but they don't. They're the guys who make all those weight loss injectable drugs like Wegovy and stuff like that. Well, just like all those other pharma companies, they've been looking for the holy grail of big pharma. That is a pill that you can take instead of jabbing yourself that has the same effects as those injectable drugs, which, by the way, aren't that hunky dory. Yes, you lose weight, but there's definitely a lot of side effects. Oh, and by the way, you can never stop doing the injections. You know, that's a party I'm not signing up for. But people are thinking maybe even more people will buy this if they don't have to jab themselves and hurt themselves with a needle. So they announced yesterday Novo Nordisk did that their pill version of WeGovy helps people lose 16.6% of their body weight over 64 weeks. That's about 15 months. And that shot the stock of Novo Nordisk up 6% yesterday. You might remember Eli Lilly is also trying to get a pill to do this, but its results weren't as good. But again, it still comes with the side effects and still comes with the fact that you can never get off of it. Very, very strange. All right, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. I told you earlier this week about how you can get trapped inside of electric cars when an electric car completely fails and the power goes out. There are some electric cars that have only electrically, electrical powered, touch powered handles like you see right there in the Tesla. That's a problem if you're stuck inside a burning car and you can't get out. This is really an alarming story. There have been some people who have been caught this way. So Tesla is now looking to fix that in light of some of the scary videos that have been getting out there lately on social media. So Tesla now says it is going to soon install an intuitive tool, a manual tool that people inside of cars and even outside of cars can, some can use to get those doors open. Really, really scary situation. I love automation. I love push button stuff. I used to ride in elevators when I was a kid just to push the buttons. But this is going too far. All right. Now that ICE raid that we've been telling you about for weeks at the Hyundai plant in Georgia where ICE went in there and found hundreds, hundreds of illegal alien South Korean workers, this story is a story that just keeps on giving. Well, as you might remember, the 300 or so south Korean workers who were here illegally when jobs were promised to Americans, they got back to South Korea. They weren't abused in any way. They got a nice flight back to South Korea. They're back there. But the South Korean government now says they are going to look in to see if any human rights violations were committed by ICE when they got busted doing this. I mean, this is just incredible. They promise American jobs, they don't deliver them. They don't bother to even get the paperwork for the foreigners that they're bringing in to do the jobs Correct. And they're illegal here. And now they're complaining that there's a human rights violation. It's just incredible. Just incredible. This is not, by the way, going to be isolated to Hyundai. Mark my words, they are going to find other companies doing this. So if you're one of those companies, get your papers in order. Or better yet, hire the Americans that you promised to hire. End of story. An icon of the Detroit and auto industry landscape is going away. It's called the Glass House. It has been Ford's corporate headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, since 1956. Ford says it's a new world, and they're going to move to an HQ in a different part of Detroit area that will be able to hold twice as many employees as the old one. I don't know. Ford has a lot fewer employees than it did in 1956. I'm not quite understanding that. But okay, I'll take their word for it. They say that they'll help create a more collaborative workspace where the engineers, the executives and designers all are working in one place. The move begins in November, and the Glass House will be demolished. An absolute icon of history when this was. You know, think about this and think about the year 1956 and how futuristic that building must have looked like all those years ago. Almost 70 years ago. All right, finally, do not try this at home, kids, but Kia should be proud of this viral video of a man trying to damage the Kia's headlights with a sledgehammer. This is a real video. Look at him go. Nothing doing. It turns out that they make the headlights with a very strong material. That's great news for those of you who have a Kia, and maybe you get into a little fender bender. But this reminds me of the 1980s standup joke. I think it was Jerry Seinfeld's joke about the black boxes and planes that are indestructible. And he would get on stage and say, why don't they make the whole plane out of what they make the black box out of? I know engineering wise, it's not possible, but it's a good point. That's what people are saying about this video. Why don't they make the engine and the rest of this car as indestructible as the headlights? It's a good question. All right, ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back with the rest of American Sunrise early edition. Gonna come back and talk about those space lasers in the sky. It's a change in warfare. Fighting for his job, Jimmy Kimmel is meeting with lawyers and plotting strategies to get back on the air after he smeared Charlie Kirk's most bereaved mourners. That's why who he attacked. Kimmel has an uphill battle because he's not going up against Trump, he's going against ordinary Americans. But the fight to keep Charlie Kirk's memory alive is seeing more success. A massive funeral is set for this Sunday. President Trump's going to be there. And Kirk's wife Erica has accepted the role as new leader of Turning Point usa. In other news, you knew this was going to happen. President Trump is now asking the Supreme Court in an emergency appeal to take up the Lisa Cook case. He wants the high court to uphold his firing of the Fed governor as soon as possible. And space age warfare is here. Israel's Iron Beam, which uses laser pulses instead of anti ballistic missiles to shoot down threats, is now fully operational. And wait until you hear how much it costs. You're going to be surprise. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION continues now. Welcome back to a no tie Friday here on American Sunrise EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Thank you to all of you on the getter and rumble chats who are participating in the program with your comments. We're also live on Substack right now. That's one of your favorite platforms. We've always been live on X. And you can comment on all of those platforms I just mentioned and, and make fun of me and do things like that. That's allowed. I can take it. Otherwise I would hide in my closet. Joining us now is the former chair of the Trump 47 National Women's Leadership Coalition, Irene Trat. And Irene, I know Charlie Kirk meant a lot to you personally. And as we prepare for this big funeral service for him coming up on Sunday, which, by the way, we're going to have coverage of throughout the day here on Real America's Voice. Stay with us for that. There's going to be a lot more details. We'll let you know about it during the course of the day and the weekend. But anyway, just wanted to make sure people knew that. But Iri, can you share your thoughts on specifically why Charlie Kirk meant so much to you and people in your general circle? Sure. I mean What a terrible week this has been. Charlie Kirk, he embodied everything that was great about America that's great about America. Freedom, faith and family. And as a Jewish conservative, I actually wrote a piece in the Algemeiner this week called what Charlie Kirk meant to Jewish Conservatives. He was just a wonderful friend to us. He spoke out against anti Semitism when it came from the far right, when it came from the far left. And he understood that a society that turns on its Jews is a society that is rotting at its core. And he now spoke. He thought what Candace Owens was doing was demonic. He was constantly speaking up against the Jew hatred that was bubbling up in far right corners. And now that he's gone, we really do. We feel his absence, and there will never be another Charlie Kirk. And he understood that when anti Semitism is allowed to take root in a society, that's when the Judeo Christian character of the country starts to fray. So that's one of the really important things that he did for Jewish conservatives. Another thing that he did is he gave us the courage and the inspiration to talk about issues that were often taboo in our own communities. For instance, immigration. Right. A lot of the mainstream Jewish organizations refused to talk about this. Right. Because it's a delicate issue. It's not so comfortable to talk about. We want to be thought of as a tolerant society, and we are tolerant. But if a country, a country can have great tax policy, education reform, but if it has open borders, doesn't matter. Right. It will unravel from within. So he gave us the inspiration to talk about immigration and what was happening in this country, specifically Muslim immigration, Muslims immigrating with radical ideologies. And now we see. He talked what was happening in Western Europe. We see elements of that playing out here in America. For instance, in Dearborn, Michigan, where the police department was having Arabic writing on their patches, or Sharia law trying to be imposed in Texas, and Imam was going around saying, you can't sell pork. You can't sell items that were haram in Islam. So Charlie Kirk talked about these issues, and he said, jewish conservatives, sharpen your arguments. He gave us the strength to talk about these issues in our own communities, and we're going to take his lessons and move forward. He really set the path forward for us, gave us a blueprint on what issues were important to us and underscored the importance of a strong Judeo Christian alliance. And I think that's what we need to take away from this, is that we need to double down on our relationship with our Christian allies. The future of America, future pro Israel support in America is going to rely on committed Jews, committed Catholics and evangelical Christians. And that's something also I think Israeli officials can learn more about. After Charlie's death, instead of going to New York, maybe start going to the heartland of America, start meeting with more Christian leaders. Yoav Gallant, the former defense minister, I think it was last year he had a speech canceled on him in D.C. a D.C. conservative synagogue canceled the speech. They said it was out of an abundance of caution, security concerns, but we all know politically it had to do with politics. So my first thought was that, wow, it's too bad that they're not having Gallant speak. My second thought was like Galant should be speaking at churches across the country. And that's what we need to be doing, is strengthening our relationship with our non Jewish allies. Charlie Kirk did a phenomenal job highlighting the importance of this. Speaking of churches, we've heard some wild conspiracy theories about the death of Charlie Kirk. And here's what Charlie Kirk's personal pastor, Pastor Rob McCoy, had to say about that in an interview with our David Brody. Listen to this. You know, there's discussion about his views on Israel. What I can tell you is that Charlie believed, and I was with him in Korea, just it was the last trip we took, it was last week. And he was wanting me to go to Israel to start a work there. That was his request of me, and I know this, that he believed the Jews had an ancestral right to the land. He believed that Jews are God's chosen people. He believed in the sovereignty of Israel. That's an important point. One of the lies that people are trying to peddle is that when they say that they want Americans to support Israel because of Christian teaching and the fact that we believe that there is still a chosen people aspect going on here, that that means that we're, oh, we, we're telling you to support Benjamin Netanyahu or a particular government. That is not the case. That is absolutely untrue. Nobody says that. Nobody serious says that. People saying that are telling basically are lying. It's just about a case of not wanting people to die, innocent people to die. And in the case of Christian rights and freedoms in the land of Israel, good luck getting that from anywhere other than the, than this, than the people that are there now. In other words, take a look what's happened to the Christian communities of Gaza. There used to be one. The Christian communities of places even like Bethlehem, there used to be one. They've been driven out by the radical Islamists just like they do to the Jews. It's the same thing. And I think that's the argument that needs to be made. It's not about, hey, support this political party or this government or this particular aspect of a war. That's not what anyone's asking for. They're asking for basic human and religious rights. Right. You're absolutely right. If we can highlight this point, I think support for Israel will come about organically. And you see what people like Candace Owens is doing her, I guess Benjamin Netanyahu coming out and saying that Charlie Kirk was a lionhearted friend of Israel was too much for her unhinged antisemitism to just veer out of control. She's completely, you see where she was in 2018 versus now. And frankly, I'm far more concerned about diminished support for Israel among Christians in this country than I am about diminished support for Israel among Jewish progressives. And I think President Trump, if you noticed a week ago, he released a picture of Charlie Kirk and President Trump embracing in front of, against the backdrop of an Israeli and American flag and under the caption, everybody loved Charlie. To me, that was a signal from President Trump to the far right voices like Candace Owens saying, hey, back off. This is, this is an alliance. This is an important alliance. And it was an alliance that was important to Charlie Kirk. You know, I want to jump in now because one of those things that that alliance produces is technology that helps both of our countries. I've been talking about this throughout the program. Israel now says that their Iron Beam, that uses lasers instead of anti ballistic missiles to knock down threats, is now fully operational. I've been teasing folks about how much they think this costs. Each one of the pulses that you see here costs about $2. That's it. As opposed to about the $50,000 that each iron Dome rocket costs. Now, of course, the development of the Iron Beam cost a lot of money, although also probably a lot less than you might expect. But remember, when Israel unveils this, this now becomes available to the United States not only because they backed, with loans and other funding, this kind of technology that Israel develops, but Israel develops it with US Defense contractors. This now belongs to the United States as well. And this is a change in the way warfare is going to go on, not just for Israel, but for countries like Taiwan, Poland, all those Eastern European countries that are threatened by Russia on and on down the line. This is an example of what you're talking about. Absolutely. It's nice to get a piece of good news for a change. This week you mentioned the cost of this new laser defense system is A couple dollars versus the Iron Dome which Israel has been using is $50,000 a pop. Every time they have to deploy, deploy that to intercept a rocket. So this is a huge cost saver. It's also an opportunity for more defense partnerships between the US And Israel. And it's just unbelievable to me. This is a country, Israel, that's been engaged in a multi front war for a couple years, yet they keep developing, they keep inventing. It's just incredible what continues to come out of that country. This along with I just read that a new spinal cord implant may be produced by Israel. It's going to get operational a couple months. They're going to test it out. This is just incredible. And these are, we forget the reservists. They've been in the army sometimes for hundreds of days. They're leaving their jobs, they're leaving their families. And in the midst of all this, this is a country that's still able to produce cutting edge technology that's going to help the world. I'm curious if countries like Spain or others that want to recognize a Palestinian state that speak out against Israel at the UN are they going to be beneficiaries of all of these new technologies that Israel is producing? I don't know. But it's important too. Going back to Charlie Kirk, he convened a circle of conservative young turning point activists and the subject of security assistance came up. And the Democrats have done a great job of manipulating the narrative to compare security assistance to Israel versus foreign aid to Ukraine. Or they're completely different. Right. 70% of assistance to Israel comes back to help the United States. But whatever you think of assistance to Israel, this new invention is an opportunity for America and Israel to move forward as strategic partners and I think to sign more defense and technology pacts together. Yeah, I want this technology in the United States. And by the way, there are two Iron Dome batteries deployed in the United States. Their exact locations are of course not disclosed to the public, but we need Iron Beam here as well. And again, that can make us all feel a lot safer. Eritrea, thank you so much for joining us. Have a great weekend and hopefully this will be a better week coming up. Thank you. Thanks. President Trump has announced he will be attending the funeral for Charlie Kirk in Phoenix this Sunday. Welcome back to AMERICAN Sunrise EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. Many of you may have seen some of those traditional funerals they do in New Orleans. They do a procession down the street with the marching band. And while it's somber at first, then they decide to celebrate the life of the deceased and they start playing happier music. I don't know. And I think that there will be some joy, David Brody, this weekend on Sunday at Charlie Kirk's funeral, I think there will be some joy and celebration of his life, but it's going to be a pretty, a pretty heavy day. And by the way, the coverage of it will be here on real America's voice, I believe, starting at 10am Eastern time. So it's going to be and President Trump's going to be there. And one of the pastors who maybe I guess he's going to be the lead presiding pastor of it is going to be Rob McCoy, the guy that we've been playing your sound bites all morning. By the way, David, of the interview you had with him, what are you looking for at this service? I assume President Trump will be speaking as well. Yes, President Trump will be there, a whole host of dignitaries. What's going to happen is just, you know, we'll be there, of course, Rav will be there on the ground. I'll be there. Dr. G. Will be there. Steve Bannon, all three of us hosting coverage before and after and many others from RAV will be there as well in the crowd. There's a lot to unpack here. First of all, this is exactly what Charlie would want, not a memorial to himself, by the way, let me be clear about that, but that he's going to get second billing at this memorial. And what I mean by that is that this is going to be all about his faith and about Jesus and about what he was preaching. And there's going to be a lot of faith and praise and worship music going on. So it's going to be kind of a bit like a kind of like old town old school revival, if you will. That, that that's the I say expectation. Who knows what God's going to do on Sunday. But I know there's a lot of folks that are will be there with an expectant heart. You know, to me, it reminds me a little bit of what could happen Sunday, like old school Revolutionary War times, you know, where we were talking about America or the forming of America at the time, the Constitution, the forming of the Constitution and biblical principles, all fused into one back in those late 1700s and of course before as well. And here they are on display yet again at Charlie Kirk's memorial service. So it's going to be emotional. There is going to be joy, I think once again, not obviously for joy of what happened, but the expectant joy that what will come out of this? You know, as you know, Jake and I'll be brief, my, my daughter had cancer. I say had past tense. She's now in remission. And the minute we got the diagnosis on Christmas Eve, by the way, we started a book of blessings. What good can come out of this? And we've seen about 30 pages of blessings that have come out of this. So the same thing with Charlie Kirk. What are the blessings that are going to come out of this? That's the, that only God can provide. And we look forward to it. You know, you made an interesting point about religious revival. We've had religious revival movements in this country that have been very strong. I sit right now in a town on Long island that exists today because of religious revival in the 1860s here in Merrick, a tent city came up because of a preacher and, and the people who were following and them. And that's why this town exists. Otherwise it would just be farmland. A lot of things like that in America. Remember that. See you again next. This emotional and eventful episode centers on the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, its massive impact on the conservative movement, and the broader news landscape of the day. The episode dives into reactions to Kirk’s legacy, the controversy swirling around late-night host Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension, issues of media bias, ongoing political developments (including Trump’s Supreme Court gambit), significant advances in military technology, and tributes to Kirk’s influence—especially on Jewish conservatives and young activists. The tone moves between passionate, mournful, and defiant, emphasizing a call to action for listeners who share the show’s values.
Segment: [07:30–15:10]
“I’m actually disappointed that Kimmel’s off the air… I’d like [Disney] to lose a lot more money by getting rid of Kimmel. They get rid of a loss leader. No, put Kimmel back, have his ratings go into the even deeper toilet, lose even more money. If I was a Republican, I wouldn’t want this guy off. I’d want Disney bankruptcy.” — Dr. James Nuzzo, [08:40] – Jake Novak notes networks frequently use political programming as lobbying tools, even if not currently effective. – Kimmel’s controversy puts the business side of media of front and center.
Segment: [15:10–27:35]
“They have unleashed a very, very large and angry bear. And I think the Democrats have not a clue as to what this all will mean for them.” — Dr. James Nuzzo, [19:30] – Comparison to past tragedies and the way major figures’ deaths have historically been used and misused. – Grieving processes and the importance of respecting families and not exploiting tragedy noted by both hosts and by Kirk’s pastor: “If you’re a Christian, stop it. … Instead of talking to man about man, with all of your agendas, talk to God about man. Lord, would you comfort Erica? …” — Pastor Rob McCoy, via David Brody, [23:10]
Segment: [21:50–28:55]
“Unfortunately, because of Charlie Cook’s horrific, disgusting assassination, she’s been pushed off … the front section.” — Jake Novak, [26:45] – The importance of honoring Kirk by continuing work on the issues he championed (such as law and order and accountability on immigration policy).
Segment: [29:10–31:20]
“If you watch that and you weren’t moved, well, you don’t have a heart.” — Dr. James Nuzzo, [31:10] – Hope that the national funeral will bring both closure and renewed political energy.
Segment: [33:15–41:20]
“She was extraordinarily well intended with the message that she wanted to put out. … The real story … is on the local station that she worked at. What has their statement been? What is their response?” — Emily Finn, [39:20]

That is not the case.” — Jake Novak, [1:07:25]
