Ahead on American SUNRISE EARLY edition. It's truly a new day in America. After hundreds of thousands came to the massive memorial for Charlie Kirk outside of Phoenix yesterday. Millions more watched on TV and online, and the message was a call for not just a political awakening in America, but a rededication to religious principles as well. But the last speaker was President Trump, of course, and he spoke of continuing Charlie's political and spiritual goals. And he made it clear that much of the White House's future acts were very much approved by Charlie Kirk and those like him. But even now, leftist violence and the suppression of the truth about it rages in America. The latest incident, a mountain shouting Free Palestine. He attacked a wedding at a New Hampshire country club, shooting one man to death. The mainstream news media is ignoring the facts in the story, getting back to the White House's agenda. The Trump administration announces a hefty new fee for on every H1B visa position used by US companies. The goal is to stem the financial incentives employers use to hire foreigners instead of American workers. And British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announces that his government has recognized a Palestinian state. It's a move sure to encourage more terrorism and death. And maybe that's why he did it. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION begins now. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. Your good deeds and bad deeds, that's how we're going to judge you. Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories that matter. We will be letting the public know regularly what we have found. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION with your host, Jake Novak starts now. Welcome to this Monday here on American SUNRISE EARLY edition. And it feels different in America again. It felt different the day after Charlie Kirk was murdered. And it feels different now that I feel like we've been given more than just marching orders, but inspiration from that memorial service yesterday. So, of course, I buried the lead a little bit in that little opening teaser because I really want to start the program with what I know was I know it was the most powerful moment from the Charlie Kirk memorial service. I think you know where I'm going. But if you missed it, here it is. Check it out.
Carol Markowitz
My husband Charlie, he wanted to save.
Jake Novak
Young men just like the one who took his life. That young man, that young man on.
Carol Markowitz
The cross, our Savior said.
Jake Novak
Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do. That man, that young man, I forgive him. Wow. Let's bring in Daily Signal senior news producer and host of the Problematic Women podcast, Virginia Allen. I have to ask you for your reaction to that. No more preamble from me.
Carol Markowitz
Yeah, talk about a powerful moment and one that you recognize. Erica understood the weight of those words. She understood what she was doing in that moment. It wasn't trite. It wasn't just, okay, I'll say this because I think it's what I'm supposed to say, but you saw it on her face, in her body language. That was a decision that she made before her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, that she was going to forgive this man. And it was interesting when she said, said it, you almost see like a weight come off of her. And it. It was, even watching it, you felt like it was this palpable, almost moment of freedom and release of like she's fully releasing this young man who killed her husband back to the Lord. And I, I said it on. In. In responding to that moment on X. But that is the picture of strength, and that's a strength that. That only God can provide. Because in the flesh, of course, you want to respond in anger and you want retribution and you want justice. And yet for Erica Kirk, as a Christian, as a follower of Jesus, her knowledge and the truth of Scripture states very clearly that that justice is something that we surrender to the Lord and that God alone brings about that justice. And so just, I mean, to see that moment and, you know, for literally about three hours, to have speaker after speaker after speaker proclaim the gospel and proclaim truth, I don't think we've ever seen an event on the public stage this large, at least in the history of my life.
Jake Novak
Yeah, listen, we can also talk a lot about how forgiveness from the personal desire for revenge and anger is different from the legal system and justice. Of course, there's no forgiving someone's soul doesn't mean that they shouldn't, don't need to be punished humanely and justly through our legal system. Those are two different things. For anyone who's being confused about that, I don't think any of you watching are. But understand there are malcontents who are trying to say, well, she forgive them, then why are you trying to prosecute? I Mean, honestly, that's not the same thing. I have to ask you, do you think that the murder of Charlie Kirk will spark even more political activism from the right and maybe have a significant impact to try to get to the nitty gritty? Now we've gone from the high spiritual moment. I know I have to get down to the granular level of politics, and I apologize for that. But do you think it'll move from that to having an effect on the elections? Sorry, I have to go there, but that is a question we need to ask. Will this impact first the elections just around the corner in Virginia and New Jersey and. And then, of course, next year in the midterms and going forward, do you think this is going to last? Because we've seen inspirational stuff like this that does peter out at times. And of course, this wasn't all about politics, so it could end up just being more about religious revival and spirituality, which would be fine, I think, for most of us also. But I just wonder if you think that this is going to have that kind of an impact.
Carol Markowitz
No, I think it will certainly have that kind of an impact. And I actually think that those two, the spiritual revival, the spiritual awakening, and that political impact in this case might end up being very, very deeply connected. Because this was the message of Charlie Kirk that, you know, he. He was someone who is first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ, but his political views stemmed from his biblically founded views on. On faith and his deeply held Christian values. And I think that if. If as the American people, and specifically for young people, who all of a sudden are maybe already kind of new, of Charlie Kirk had heard of his message, but now are even more so. Okay, wait. I want to figure out what this man was about, what was his life message, or going back and watching some of those videos, I think they're going to recognize, all right, if I'm going to kind of walk this walk in faith and then go a step further and say, all right, if I'm a follower of Christ, what does that mean for my political views and my political values? And recognizing one really stems from the other can stem from the other, if you allow your faith to influence how you believe about politics. So I am very optimistic that I think the biggest shift we're going to see here again is among young people, which makes sense because that was Charlie's target audience. And so while, as far as, you know, we might see some. Some shift among older voters, but I think the biggest probably influence is going to be the new young voters. Young People who maybe never voted before or saying, you know what? Someone died because of their faith values, because of their political values. If it's worth dying for, gosh, the least I can do is get out and vote. So I do think we're going to see real movement in the political space that continues for years to come to stem from Charlie Kirk's life and legacy.
Jake Novak
You know, I want to combine the next two questions together because Charlie did, of course, talk a lot about immigration and immigration policy. And a lot of you I know missed it over the weekend because we were so focused on the memorial service. But first, we had this major announcement from President Trump slapping a $100,000 fee on every H1B visa position that a company is opening up for their for workers coming from foreign countries. At the same time, from another angle, on the immigration front, you have a new piece out in the Daily Signal talking about how criminal gangs in many cases sponsored the immigration of, I guess, unaccompanied, but definitely children coming from foreign countries also, for God knows what. I know you know some of the details of that, but here you have a case where, again, and I'm just preempting this. This is a big part of what you have to do now on our side of the fence. You can't just respond to what the left is going to say. You have to preempt it. I put out a little video last night about I know what a lot of rabbis in my community are going to do, unfortunately, in their sermons for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in the coming days. They're going to talk about how they were made uncomfortable by the Christianity on display. Not a lot of them, but some will do this. And I preempted that. I told them how that's not the right position to take for a lot of reasons. So I want you to preempt that. People are going to say, like, oh, how can you be a Christian? How can you be an open and welcoming person if you're not letting people in to take American jobs and you're not allowing criminal gangs to bring in unaccompanied children? So I'm going to let you give us some of the details on that.
Carol Markowitz
Yeah, certainly. Well, I think the number one thing to keep in mind is that the borders being open is a gift to criminal organizations, to cartels, to gangs, to those who are literally professionals at exploiting people. And that's what we saw for four years, borders under the Biden administration. Anyone who crossed that border illegally, they were not doing that alone. They were doing that after paying the cartels a fee. And then the cartels worked to smuggle those individuals across. And this goes for both families, children, and individuals who sought to exploit and take advantage of an open border. This is a business model that was run by the cartels. And President Trump has shut that business model down as it relates to specifically that. That whistleblower and who I talked to, Aaron Stevenson In 2021, he was working for USCIS, and in his own words, as an analyst, as an intelligence analyst, he was looking for bad guys. He was looking for people who were illegally in the country or who had crossed the border and who were claiming asylum and trying to discern, okay, who is maybe a legitimate coin here versus who is someone who is a criminal threat or a true terrorist threat to the United States. And he began, starting in February 2021, to see a pattern that there were gang members. Started with the 18th street gang, then a member of, you know, a gang from the Baltics. And so it's very different gang members, but they were. They had applied to be sponsors for unaccompanied alien children. And he began asking this question of why would a gang member, someone with an affiliation to a gang, want to sponsor a child? And you said, you know, the light bulb went off when you sort of asked that question out loud. Okay, there's real danger here of this child being sexually exploited. Free labor. And this was before there was real reporting out on this. And, of course, in the years that followed, they were more and more whistleblowers that came out and raised concerns over the exploitation of children, specifically these children that arrived unaccompanied at the southern border, who then, when they didn't have family, they were placed with a sponsor, and often a very poorly vetted sponsor. But it was just, there were so many people coming across, and there was so much movement, and the federal government didn't have a good structure. Okay, how do we ensure that these kids are safe? And so it just became an assembly line of moving these kids through, getting them with a sponsor. And. And unfortunately, many of those people had very, very poor intentions. And to this day, we still don't know where many of those children are.
Jake Novak
Well, check out Virginia's piece in the Daily Signal. And thank you so much for joining us. We could talk for a long time about all this, but remember, compassion is sometimes misconstrued about where it really is. Where's the compassion for these children? And where's the compassion for the people who are living in the shadow of these gangs all over the country. Amazing how too many people don't talk about that. Virginia Allen, thank you so much for joining us. Have a great week.
Carol Markowitz
Thank you, Jake.

Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition. That's a live look at the White House there. And those flags dead limp this morning. I guess not much of a breeze. But the worst of the summer is certainly over. The summer is actually officially over. It is September 22nd, after all. Welcome back, everyone watching, especially those of you on the Getter Rumble platform scene. You're also commenting there. And you can also watch us and comment live on X and substack. There's so many other places for you to participate. Britain's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer announced yesterday that his nation is now going to recognize a Palestinian state. I don't know where that state is, where its capital is, who its leaders are, what the borders are, who knows? But he's recognizing it. I wonder if he also recognizes unicorns. Not only this, by the way, not only is this breaking a promise that Starmer himself made recently to never recognize a Palestinian state until all the Israeli and other hostages were released and Hamas was out of power. He didn't wait for that. He promised he would. But it's also against the wishes of nine out of ten British voters in a recent survey, according to this report here that I'm showing you. And listen, I've heard of 80, 20 issues like not people who don't want boys and girls bathrooms, but this is a 9010 issue. And finally, and I am going to marry these two stories because I really do think they're related as we bring in Real America's Voice contributor, Emily Finn. This happens pretty much at the same moment that a crazed anti Israel maniac went to a wedding at a country club in New Hampshire and shot it up, killing one person as he yelled free Palestine. And the mainstream media barely covered this story at all because it was a leftist shooter. And in every one of their stories, they leave out the fact that he yelled free Palestine. Emily, we can't get our problems solved in this country if we're gonna suppress the realities of things. And I think that Keir Starmer is suppressing the reality going on in Gaza. Don't know why he would do that. That is in the news every day. And people like this who are, again, more leftist violence that's being suppressed by the news media.
Emily Finn
And Jake, I give you a lot of respect for talking about this on your program. I haven't seen any other news show talk about this story. And this is what we need. We need people to be informed. 90% of the UK doesn't agree with what Keir Starmer is doing, yet he's moving forward. And what are the people there doing? Are they rising up? Are they voting him out? Are they boycotting this decision? That's what needs to happen here. And we need to get these stories out more often. Yes, I think it is Absolutely married. I mean, this guy yells free Palestine before he goes in to this wedding, of all things. I mean, just horrible. Absolutely evil, Jake. But I think something else that we have to address here. This was a 23 year old young man here in America that did this. What happened to Charlie Kirk? That was a 22 year old young man that did that to Charlie. Something is happening to the young men in this country that they're getting radicalized and thinking that resorting to violence is the answer to whatever they're feeling inside. So I think that is something that we need to get down to the bottom of. Where are these people being radicalized? Is it social media? What is it that they're seeing that is making them think that violence is the answer?
Jake Novak
Yeah. And by the way, this wedding in New Hampshire, it wasn't a Jewish wedding. There was nothing connected to Israel in this wedding. It's just this, I think, is actually very telling. This is why it should have been reported. People are pretending to take on some of these political causes. The reality is they're just violent people. They want to shoot, they want to kill. They're confused. I consider this to be the case also with Charlie Kirk. Yes, he was radicalized by left wing influences. I do believe that as well. But at the end of the day, the person wanted to commit violence. The means justified, the means are the end. And we need to understand that. Don't have an argument about politics with people like this. That's for the people who debate Charlie Kirk, who at least had the courage to go in front of a microphone and identify themselves. As much as we may disagree with him, the guy who hid behind on a roof and shot him wasn't interested in being convinced politically. This is a case of mental illness violence and it needs to be punished properly. Emily, I hope that you see that as well as I do.
Emily Finn
Absolutely. I think you're spot on with all of that and I think that is what we need to address the root cause of this problem. At the end of the day, we shouldn't have people in this country that think that violence is the answer ever.
Jake Novak
Yeah. And they're using politics as an excuse for the violence they already want to commit. In other words, they're not turning on TV and saying, oh, look at this thing that's happening. I got to do something about it. It's I got to shoot someone. What can I say to make it sound like it's justified? That is the way you have to make sure you don't put the cart before the horse. Emily, thank you so much for joining us. We're going to see you again between 8 and 10am here on Real America's Voice. Thank you.
Emily Finn
Thank you, Jake.

A look at Phoenix, Arizona, of course, major day yesterday in that metropolitan area for the Charlie Kirk Memorial. Let's take a look at where the markets are going to open today. We have some red arrows, nothing too significant, nothing about a third of a percent down on all the major indices. Gold way up. Look at that, 37.62 per ounce. That's a new all time high. Crude oil down back down to the 62 level. Now I want you to take a look at Bitcoin. Last time I checked it was down pretty significantly. Making a little bit of a comeback. It was down well over 3,000 bucks. It's down 2600 bucks now almost at 113,000. All right, maybe you missed it over the weekend. We're going to talk more about it in a couple of minutes. But again, I want everyone to hear this because you might have missed it. President Trump announcing over the weekend a $100,000 fee that it's going to he's going to slap on all each H1B position that a company uses here in America to bring in a foreigner to work. Now that's is mostly going to hit the tech industry, although the president clarified yesterday, the administration clarified yesterday that for some people who have specific skills that are very specific and not really easily found here in the United States, there may be some exemptions. So stay tuned for that. I'll talk more about that with our next guest in just a few minutes. President Trump is mentioning some big names, by the way, that are apparently going to be part of the American ownership team of TikTok. Now last week we heard about Larry Ellison, the CEO of Oracle and how Oracle is going to have a hand in this in return for some part of the ownership is going to handle some of the back office tech for TikTok and the cloud part of it. President Trump also mentioning now the Murdochs, you might know that Rupert Murdoch, the scion, not the Scion, the lion of that family pretty much hand over the reins to his son Lachlan a couple of weeks ago. So Lachlan Murdoch and that Fox empire will also have a hand in it. Michael Dell as well. We're getting again a little bit more of a complete picture, but we still don't have a 100% complete complete picture about who's going to own and operate the new TikTok. Speaking of media teams, let's get everyone updated on the latest on the Jimmy Kimmel suspension, which again, you may have missed. According to a number of reports, mostly in the New York Post, but also the Hollywood Reporter, ABC Disney is trying to find a way to get Jimmy Kimmel back on the air. Here's the sticking point, and this is annoying, I think, but, but expected. Jimmy Kimmel won't apologize. They're trying to get him to apologize in some way and he's refusing to do it. And this just goes to show exactly how obstinate this person is, what a bubble he's living in. He's going to regret not apologizing, even if it's a fake apology. Honestly, I don't want to hear any fake apology. So we'll see what happens. But that's where we are right now. That is why it's not on the air tonight and for the foreseeable future. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Moving america. Sponsored by artillerytea company. Artilleryteaco.com use promo code liberty for 20% off your order. Artillery Tea Company is family and veteran owned and operated and a portion of your purchase goes to help veteran and first responder charities. Artillerytcode.com promo code LIBERTY for 20% off your order. No hard feelings. I guess that's what's going on right now. Hyundai says it is going to expand its Meta plant in America. That's what it's called, Meta Plant America. I like that name. It's in Georgia. Yes, that's the same plan in Georgia that ICE raided about two weeks ago in the largest single site enforcement operation in ISIS history. Remember, they rounded up hundreds of illegal alien South Carol South Korean workers there. They've been sent home. South Korea's government is upset about it. Well, Hyundai is like, well, okay, we're going to put more money into this. The expansion is going to be bringing in a new amount of money and effort and innovation that they, that Hyundai says will make it possible to make 500,000 cars a year at that plant alone. It's going to create, they say, 3,000 new jobs. And of course that's the sticky thing. Do they mean new jobs for people living here in America now, either American born people or naturalized citizens, or do they mean 3,000 jobs for people who they're going to do their paperwork properly this time and bring them from South Korea? That's something I would like to know. But it's interesting that they're still pouring money into this plant. They must figure this is all worth it. I certainly hope ICE will make sure that everyone working there is illegal alien and it would be nice. Hyundai. Can I just make this request? Why don't you hire some people who are living in America now? They can be legal immigrants. Be nice. Also, if there's some native born Americans that you hire, please don't bring in thousands of foreigners to do the job and say you've created American jobs. That's really kind of disingenuous. All right. Now I want to update you on a story I first told you about a couple of months ago. This involves the United Auto Workers and a scandal that's been going on in that company, well, that union for quite a while now. You might remember they had a strike in 2023. They won the strike. By all accounts. They won the arguments with the big Detroit automakers. And then there was a question about the hundreds of millions of dollars that the union had left over in strike relief funds. Now this is something no one disputes. That money was not reinvested into the investment accounts that the union has by the bylaws of the uaw. That was where that money was supposed to go, but they didn't do that. And because they didn't reinvest it, they missed out on $80 million worth of stock gains that they had put the money where it was supp. So they're trying to figure out, when I say they, I mean the news media locally in Detroit and some other folks are trying to figure out why that money wasn't put there. There have been other stories that have come out of this thing as well, including Sean Fain, the head of the uaw, basically purging people in the union who asked the same questions, including the controller of the union. The person who's supposed to put the money and be in charge of the money was asking, hey, why didn't we do this? That person was basically frozen out and worse by Sean Faint well, now there's a congressman in Detroit who's also looking into this and a couple of members of Congress are writing letters to the uaw. And basically I think there's going to be some hearings about this. This could become a huge scandal. I want to know why that money wasn't reinvested. I also want to know if it ended up in someone's pocket. We're going to find out. All right, here's some good news with an open question to all of you. Road fatalities are down 8.2% through the first six months of this year. That's good news. That's despite the fact that Americans are driving more this year compared to 2024. So why the drop? Is it because we have better safety tech? It could be that. I wonder though, and this is an open question and you can let me know on Getter and Rumble and X and Substack. Could this also be because of all the illegal alien sweeps in this country? As we know, there are a lot of accidents every year on our highways attributed to illegal alien drivers who aren't insured and may not even be properly licensed. I wonder if that's driving our fatalities down. Let me know what you think. All right. Coming up, you've heard of Operation Arctic Frost, or maybe you haven't heard of it. You should have. And you should also make you mad that you haven't heard about it. We'll discuss the Biden dirty tricks connected to that when American Sunrise. Early EDITION comes right back.

And Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen. It's Monday, September 22nd, here at this Morning's Top Stories. It is truly a new day in America after hundreds of thousands came out to the massive memorial for Charlie Kirk outside of Phoenix yesterday. Millions more watched on TV and online, and the message was a call for not just political awakening in America, but a rededication to religious principles as well. Of course, the last speaker was President Trump, and he spoke of continuing Charlie's political and spiritual goals. And he made it clear that much of the White House's future acts were very much approved by Charlie Kirk and those like him. But even now, leftist violence and the suppression of the truth about it rages in America. The latest incident, a man shouting free Palestine attacked a wedding at a New Hampshire country club. No, it wasn't a Jewish wedding. He shot one man to death. The mainstream news media is completely ignoring the story and getting back to the White House's agenda. The Trump administration announces a hefty new fee on every H1B visa position used by US companies. The goal is to stem the financial incentives employers use to hire foreigners at cheaper prices than American workers. American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION continues now. Welcome back to AMERICAN SUNRISE EARLY edition. I'm Jake Novak. It is a Monday. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you so much for joining the comment boards, even the ones criticizing me on Getter and Rumble and X and Substack. Believe me, I can take it. It's okay. It really does feel like a new day in America. I know we felt that way in a different way a little bit after Charlie Kirk was murdered. But now after that memorial service and that call to action by all those speakers and an incredible moment when Erica Kirk talked about how she forgived at least the soul of the man who killed her husband. I don't know how you can't be fired up this morning to try to bring those principles to the issues that we're talking about. Joining me now to help me do a lot of that is Old Glory bank co founder and CEO Mike Ring. And Mike, I'm sure you were moved by the Charlie Kirk memorial yesterday, but what did it say to you as a person who has been making a business out of serving people? So many of the people that you saw at that stadium yesterday, certainly watching online, are the kind of people who you are. That's your, that's your clientele, that those are the people who make your business, people who have felt marginalized for their beliefs. I just wonder how that made you feel as you saw so many of them gathered together in one place for one purpose. I think we lost Mike's audio. As we test with Mike, I think we lost some of his audio, hopefully. Oh, here we go.
Mike Ring
That was an amateur move, and I'm so sorry. Especially on such a great setup. We saw not only one of our founders speak yesterday, but many of our customers were up there speaking. And it is exactly the customer that we serve, people who believe in country and faith and community, who put others ahead of themselves. And it was one of the most moving, most moving experiences I've ever been, been able to watch and think about. They put that together in six days. It shows you how organized and qualified that group is. And that new CEO and Erica Kirk is truly an angel, blessed by God and she is going to do a phenomenal job and just so honored to be in that community.
Jake Novak
That's right. We're not gonna let, we're not gonna let technology silence you. Mike, thank you for so much for saying that, of course, Mike. Not everyone loved Charlie Kirk. And we just learned that as part of something called Operation Arctic Frost. Where did they come up with these names? Anyway? We learned that under that operation, the Biden administration used the FBI and other government assets to target Charlie and Turning Point usa and of course, a lot of other people who were already being attacked by certain elements in the private sector, like banks and other financial institutions. I know this is something you're very fired up about. It actually helped create a clientele for you, but that doesn't make you happy about it.
Mike Ring
Well, the reason why they called Arctic Frost is they wanted to chill pro America conservative groups from actually existing. Not just speaking, but existing. And this is exactly why we started Old Glory Bank. Because not only did we want to push back against the big banks that were debanking honest, legal, conservative, pro America people, but we wanted to stop the overreach by the government of grabbing your data. That's why we preach privacy, security, and liberty. And so what happened? And Senator Grassley with Director Cash Patel is bringing this to the forefront. First started during Director Cash Patel's nomination hearing. And then last week, Senator Grassley released a document. And you need to go online and see it. It's actually an FBI document that summarizes Arctic Frost, where 400 subpoenas were sent to various entities, including 20 banks, to spy on 92 Republican groups. Now, these are not fringe groups. It's groups like Turning Point, as you said, the RNC, Citizens United Foundation. They've been around since 92. The Make America Great foundation, the Save America PAC. And what really is disturbing about this, and I know Senator Grassley and Cash Patel will bring these people to justice if they did something wrong. But what disturbs me is how is it it's now September 2025 and we're just hearing about this? 20 big banks received these subpoenas. Not only do I hope that they told their customer about it, so they knew we're on an investigation. Because unless it's a grand jury subpoena, unless there's a gag order, you can absolutely tell your customer when the FBI is seeking your records, but we need to call these banks out as to why they didn't go public. Banks like Navy Federal, USAA, bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and PNC. Why did you not tell America that 400 subpoenas were sent to 92 Republican groups?
Jake Novak
Yeah, you know, you mentioned, by the way, some people, some banks out there that are heavy sponsors on, for example, the NFL, talking about how patriotic they are and love veterans. I mean, honestly, it's just the scam here is just so infuriating. And again, it's like the fear of having a real discourse in America is just beyond me. This. Well, it goes beyond just Charlie Kirk's story. Mike, I also have to ask you about, I think a huge business story, this H1B visa fee that President Trump is slapping $100,000 on every H1B position. I know that there are some loopholes here and there's some exemptions, but this to me is something that, it's interesting, the response to it, which was thankfully a little bit muted over the weekend because of all the focus on the Charlie Kirk memorial service. But, and by that, I mean the muted response from the left. But all I can tell you is, look, we know that a lot of companies have been abusing this process. We want to bring in great and innovative new minds who may or may not have a unique bit of intelligence that they can bring to our economy here. But we know for sure, and I've seen it in places where I've worked where all of a sudden a massive number of foreign workers come in to do the jobs that were already being done just fine by American citizens. I just wonder where, you know, where you come in on this.
Mike Ring
Well, I'm coming the same side. You do that. This is a great program. Now remember, the H1B visa program is about skilled workers with top college degrees. This has nothing to do with the H2A or the H2B visa, which is about seasonal workers for agriculture and hospitality. So all the rich elite left that are worried about their servants and their ag workers being affected by this, they're not. This is about skilled college workers where we have such an incentive to force our kids to go to college to get a tech degree and then they come out. And recently, now the unemployment rate for IT graduates is higher than the national average. Yet thousands and thousands of the H1 visa programs, these visas are being given to these foreign workers. And now Trump has correctly said, great companies, if you want to bring in a foreign worker that's skilled, that has a college degree, that's fine. But you've got to pay a one time fee of $100,000. This is a brilliant move by President Trump to level the playing fee because it is clear and the president has put out statistics that these foreign workers charge less than American workers doing the same job.
Jake Novak
Now, I want to give everyone a little warning here. If you see any mainstream news media organization, you should be watching Real America's voice and following us on social media all day anyway. But if for some reason you sway to some of the big news news networks out there and they report on the story at all, you'll notice there's a complete conflict of interest. Let me tell you something just from my own experience. These news organizations are abusing the H1B visa themselves. The back office tech aspects of all their news websites are completely dominated by H1B visa workers. I saw this at places I worked. I was at CNBC. And then one day, I think it was 2014, 2015, a massive number of people from South Asia. And I love the people from there. This has got nothing to do about them personally. Just showed up at the CNBC headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey to not do the content part of the news website, which by the way, is much more profitable than the TV channel. But they were there to do the back office tech work. And so if they don't fully disclose whether it's CNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, that, by the way, we're taking advantage of this H1B stuff for this website and for this program that you're watching or reading about, then that's also disingenuous. They are absolutely. The website was running great. Okay, before all of this. They were just doing this to save money. And they don't hire young American workers for the fact that, you know, we told our kids for years, go learn to code, and they have a higher unemployment rate than the rest of the workforce. That's outrageous. Well, let's talk about something just to finish up on something a little bit more positive. Mike. The mortgage market feels like it's moving right now. Maybe more now in the refinance side, but that's great. Listen, you're in the banking business. Mortgage rates have fallen. I'm hoping that they don't creep up again in the next few days, but they have fallen. Are you seeing some positive movement there in that market?
Mike Ring
A hundred percent. We had so many customers actually sitting on the sidelines wanting to buy a home and just could not afford that monthly payment with the interest rates. We've absolutely seen it fall. Listen, I give the open market committee credit for lowering it by 25 basis points. They should have lowered it by 50. They need to lower it by another 100 basis points. And I think we are about to see a boom. If they do that by year end, which many people suggest they will, there's still two more meetings available. We are going to see a boom in home buying. And so if you're looking for a home, get in the queue and get that mortgage teed up.
Jake Novak
You know, Mike, I just wonder if the American people understand that this has been a huge roadblock to fuller economic recovery. And also this is a cultural thing. You have millions of Americans who can't sell their homes even though they want to, because they, they, they, they can't. There isn't a place they can find at a decent mortgage rate. You know, have to downsize to a place. You can't just sell your home and live with that pile of money. How much do you think this could really unleash the economy? If we can get these rates down, really down like below 6% again, that may be down below five and a half, something like that.
Mike Ring
I've always believed that if 3% was a neutral rate, you would have mortgages in the five to six and that will unleash the home buying community. But more importantly, and you've heard me preach about this, one of the challenges with the Federal Reserve is that they care about Wall street and China and not Main Street. What drives supply is more product. And they keep worrying about the cost. You know, during the COVID we had a demand pull, which is why prices went up. Now we have a supply push. The cost, the cost of goods are too expensive. And unless they unleash the small business community, that precious manufacturer, that precision manufacturer, we are never going to create more products which will create more supply, which will drive down prices. And that's Main street, not Wall Street. And the cost of capital for getting a loan to start a business, to grow your business is still too expensive. And the problem is they're not a single person that's on the Federal Reserve that has ever gotten a business loan that has, that even understands Main Street. Most of them have never even had a job. And until they bring in governors who actually understand how Main street works, this is never going to change. So I'm right now, Jake, in a break news I am nominating myself to President Trump to make me the next chairman of the Federal Reserve. And I will be the first Main street banker who puts Main street ahead of Wall Street. And like Cash Patel, I'm going to expose the corruption at the Federal Reserve that's existed for 100 years.
Jake Novak
We can start by putting cameras on the Federal Open Market Committee meetings every couple of months. That should be done live. Mike Ring, Old Glory bank co founder and CEO, thanks. Always great to have you on. Thank you so much for joining us.
Mike Ring
Thanks, Jake.
Jake Novak
All right, coming up, David Brody's gonna Join us, of course, he was one of our anchors at that amazing memorial service yesterday. Can't move on for the week without getting his impressions of what went on there outside of Phoenix. He'll join us when American Sunrise Early EDITION comes right back. Another live look, another live look at the White House there here as we come back to a Monday here in American Sunrise early edition. I know so many of you, like I was watching all day, I felt like all day yesterday, but I really, really, really was moved by it. The Charlie Kirk memorial service outside of Phoenix. David Brody was there. Yes. It's not a, not a miracle we got him back here, back onto the east coast in time to do this program. Feels like you just wrapped your broadcast of the memorial service in Glendale, just outside of Phoenix. Look, so you're the first person I've had on the program who was actually there.
Mike Ring
Of course.
Jake Novak
So I really need to ask you what are some of the main points you take away? I certainly have to take advantage of that opportunity to ask you that.
David Brody
No exaggeration, no hyperbole, here was the most powerful event I've ever covered in my 35 what it's almost 40 years in journalism. There's not even a question about it. We came for a memorial service and we got revival instead. And I know you, you may have heard that line, obviously we've heard a lot about revival. But I mean it, Jake. I mean this, this was straight up the beginnings, the rumblings of revival. God is stirring. I don't know what the dot, dot, dot of all of this is. I, I know that God gives us free will. I know that action has to be behind this. So a lot of people hear revival and they go, wait, hold on for a second. Revival, that, that's like a spiritual thing. What evangelical you people, you know the whole thing. Let me just very simply not even get into all the particulars of revival. We don't have much time here. But I'll just simply say this revival means getting serious with God and not turning away from him, turning towards him and having a personal relationship with him. When you do that, your life changes. When your life changes, you go to church, your church changes. When your church changes, your community changes. When your community changes, your nation change ages. That's the idea behind revival. We've seen spiritual awakenings in this country in the 1740s. We know about that during the Revolutionary War period. Look, what happened were America, we saw it in the 1800s, in the 1840s, also in 1857 versus 1847. And of course, that led to the end of the Civil War. And then we had others as well, the Jesus movement. And now I believe we are on the cusp of a revival in this country and it's coming from Gen Z. I don't think there's any question about it. They are the revival generation, the way I see it. And it makes sense because remember of all of the stirrings going on in college campuses across the country, whether it be at. I'm trying to remember that in Texas, what was the. Now I can't think of the college, but there's. I'll come, I'll come with it in a moment. Oh, University of what was Alabama, I think, anyhow, I'll have to think about it. But there's so many different colleges that it's happened at. We saw that. Now we see what's going on with Charlie Kirk. Then we saw what happened in that hall yesterday. Jake, God is giving us a spiritual two by four and we need to understand what's happening here. This is not, this is not kind of like, hey, let's say revival for clicks. It's not that. And let me just say one last thing. It's exactly the way Charlie would have wanted it. Yesterday. Charlie was second. You know, there's a campaign called I Am Second because God is first. Jesus is first. In Charlie's world, what he would have wanted is Jesus gets top billing, which he did. Then Charlie Erica Kirk, and President Trump was fourth. When is President Trump ever fourth billing at an event that he's at? Think about that for a second. And that should tell you everything you need to know about yesterday's event. Extremely powerful. Sorry, I know I hogged the time. I want to apologize.
Jake Novak
I want to repent for that.
David Brody
I want to repent for that.
Jake Novak
I just want everyone to understand, though, that because leftism is also a religion, a religious response to what happened was entirely, entirely appropriate. I've said that many times.
NFL Shop Announcer
Yes.
Jake Novak
All right, stay with us for the next two hours. Real America's Voice, American Sunrise is coming up. I'll see you on Early Edition tomorrow.
