Witnesses report stores ransacked, pharmacies burned down and guests locked down at the airport. Americans trapped there as well. We have the latest ahead. Also, President Trump hikes US global tariffs from 10 to 15% immediately calling the Supreme Court decision anti American markets. Trading partners reacting fast to the bold move. What does it mean for your wallet? We'll explore. And later, the clock ticking. President Trump's given Iran 10 to 15 days to reach a nuclear deal or face serious consequences. So are we going to war and what does it look like? Those stories and more is American Sunrise starts on a Monday right now. Good morning America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family. The American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Good Monday morning to you and welcome to American Sunrise. It's always good to see you. Always nice to have you start your work week with us here on American Sunrise. I'm Terrence Bates coming to you from our Denver newsroom. Let's bring in Emily Finn. She's in for Dr. Gina this morning in our West Palm newsroom. And David Brody coming to us from the Nation's capital, Washington, D.C. lady and gentleman, good morning to both of you. Well, good morning to you, Terrence. Good morning. Good morning. Thank you. Thank you. So, David, I've got to ask you, how's the weather looking there? Because it is becoming one of the bigger stories, particularly in the upper Northeast. We're talking New York, New Jersey on north. They're dealing with about 11 inches of snow there. Some 59 million people are under weather warnings. That weather warning, though, would include your neck of the woods, the D.C. area. How are things looking for you guys? There's a big difference between a warning and a waterfall. Oh, no, Terrence, it looks like it got a little too cold. So we're not. Your computer froze, David. Go ahead. Can you hear me now? Testing. Yeah, I didn't got you Down. Can you hear me? Okay. I don't know why I said Houston. I don't know. And, oh, I think I know why. But anyhow, three to five inches here. Where, where I am a little north of D.C. not too far north, but in D.C. about two and a half inches. So the State of the Union, or as we like to say here on Real America's Voice, the real State of the Union coverage that begins 7 p pm tomorrow that will take place shouldn't go off without any hitches. Two inches of snow. Even D.C. can deal with two inches of snow. Barely, Emily, but they can deal with it barely. I would be really, really scared if West Palm had any snow, David, because walking around this morning, I was so grumpy. It was so cold. But listening to everything that you got to deal with there up north, I'm feeling a little blessed to be in West Palm this morning. Right. No doubt. I'm glad, though. It's not going to be too bad. But the challenge will be for some of those Congress members and senators who may be coming back into town, particular from the Massachusetts area, New York, New Jersey, might be a bit challenging for them to get back into the nation's capital for tomorrow's State of the Union, but we, of course will have more coverage on that. Another story we're watching, guys, the violence happening in Mexico after the death of cartel kingpin El Mencho. He, of course, was killed by Mexican military officials. The United States, the White House, saying that it provided some intel to help find him and ultimately kill him. This is just crazy, though. Some of the video we're seeing, I mean, we're talking about pharmacies being burned down. We're talking about gas stations being ransacked by some of these cartel members. Frightening situation there, Emily. Certainly a frightening situation, Terrence, and a lot of prayers for all of the people being negatively impacted by all of this. I think that's a good transition to our Bible verse for today. It comes from Psalm 89, verse 15 through 16, and reads, Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound. They walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance. In your name they rejoice all day long, and in your righteousness they are exalted. Beautiful way to start the day. President Donald Trump announced that he is increasing US global tariffs from 10% to 15%, effective immediately following a Supreme Court ruling that struck down his earlier tariff program. Trump blasted the court's decision as anti American and said the higher tariff rate is legally permissible under different trade laws. The move is expected to heighten global trade tensions and draw strong reactions from U.S. trading partners as markets adjust to the broader 15% import tax. Let's now bring in Florida Congressman Randy Fine. Congressman, what do you make of all of this? Well, I think it's disappointing that the Supreme Court acted in the way that they did. The tariff policy was working. It was protecting American industry. It was resetting our trade terms with other nations around the world. Inflation was staying low. Economic growth was booming. So I don't know why they had to break what wasn't broken. But what's clear is the president has tariff authority under other statutes and he's going to use it. And hopefully people will understand that this is a core policy of this president and we've got to do what we need to do to help him. Look, if we need to pass a law to let him do whatever he needs to do on tariffs, I'm all in tomorrow night at the State of the Union on Tuesday, when those Supreme Court justices will be sitting front row for that State of the Union address by the president. By the way, Congressman, Here is what J.D. vance, the Vice president, had to say, gave a little preview. Take a look. You're going to hear a lot about the importance of bringing jobs back into our country, of reshoring manufacturing, of all these great factories that are being built. But when they turn on and you're hiring thousands of American worker per factory, that's when the real Trump boom, I think, starts. I think he's going to talk about regulatory change, the importance of lowering energy prices for American citizens. Because, you know, if you lower person's gas bill or you lower a person's electricity bill, yeah, that's good because they're paying less money for gas and electricity. But it also means the farmer who has taken the food to the grocery store, that price goes down because the farmer is paying less for gas and electricity, too. So you'll hear a lot about the Trump energy boom, which is very powerful. We've got record low energy prices, and that's a very good thing to point to. Congressman, what do you want to hear? And by the way, Adam Schiff won't be attending. Are you in therapy? Are you sad about that? No, no. Look, Democrats are going to be with the people they actually care about, which is illegal immigrants, not Americans. So I think that that's where a lot of them are going to be. And that's good. That leaves more seats for the hockey team and the rest of us. So I'm not sad about that. Look, I want the President to talk about the things that he has done. The working families tax cut, the moves that we've made to make America more affordable for people. Bringing down the cost of food, the massive tax refunds people are getting. No tax on tips, no tax on Social Security. But I also want them to let us know about the threats that lie ahead. The threat of mass migration from people who don't share our values. The fraud that we have seen in blue states that are horribly run. Talking about the fact that places like the city of New York have budgets for 8 million people larger than the state of Florida that has a smaller budget for with 23 million people. Making Americans understand that blue style governance just doesn't work and that that is at risk on this year's ballot. Congressman, I'd love to get your reaction to your Democrat colleagues calling to censure you for saying that America is going to choose pet dogs over Muslim supremacy. In short, the Democrats also accusing you of racism. Your reaction to that, and do you at all regret having made those comments? No, not. Not in the least. Look, a major Muslim leader in New York said that dogs should be banned in New York because under Islamic law they are unclean. People should not have them as indoor pets. And I simply said if I have the choice between my dog and living next to people who don't want me to have a dog, then the choice is easy. And I don't regret that at all. In fact, I've filed a bill protecting the puppies from Sharia act to make sure that people have the right to own dogs. But what I want Democrats to talk about today is that Gavin Newsom said that he's like a black person because he can't read and he got a bad SAT score. So we're gonna see if this is just opportunistic or if Democrats really do care about racism. When one of their own made probably the most racist comment I've ever heard in my entire life. Gavin Newsom actually did say that. Congressman, I was shocked seeing that video on social media over the weekend. That was. That was really, really horrible. You know, do you think that he actually has a chance looking way forward to the 2028 election? Do you think he actually has a chance with the American people? Yeah, I think he does. Well for. To win a Democrat primary. But you know what's funny about that video is I spent about 20 minutes searching around because I couldn't believe it was real. Like, I mean, who would say something like that? I mean, it's just unbelievable. It made me nauseous. And so, unfortunately, look, I see this sort of insane stuff the Democrats believe. Keep in mind, when I fly to Washington today, I'll have to go through a TSA where the workers aren't being paid because Democrats want to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants. So they'll stop paying our TSA workers, our Coast Guard, our Secret Service, who just saved President Trump's life again. So I deal with people who just aren't that bright. And unfortunately, in the Democratic Party, you never know what's going to happen. Does the guy have a chance of being president? Absolutely not. And again, I think he's going to take a lot of heat today for the comments that he made. Congressman, do you want to set the record straight about MAGA as it relates to the fact that most of MAGA is actually very conservative and behind President Trump, when it comes to surgical strikes in certain areas around the globe, whether it be Iran and other places, we have an isolationist wing of maga, but that is not MAGA writ large. And I'm curious to kind of get your reaction to that and what you think President Trump will do on Iran. Because if we're not going to strike Iran now, then there might be an opportunity lost here. I'm curious to get your take on it. Yeah, I don't know that we have an isolationist wing so much as we have a paid for by foreign nations wing. I mean, I think some of the arguments that you see from people are simply insane. Look, the fact of the matter as it relates to Iran is Iran, excuse me, is spending billions of dollars to do two things. One is to try to create a nuclear weapon, and two is to try to create an intercontinental ballistic missile. Now, why do they need an intercontinental ballistic missile? It's not so they can attack the Middle east or Israel. They have all the missiles they need to do that. We saw that before. It's not even so they can attack Europe. They have missiles that can reach Europe. There's only one reason they want an intercontinental ballistic missile. So that is they can deliver a missile to hit the United States because their missiles currently can't fly that far. That is a clear and present threat to the United States, particularly in a country that is run by Muslim terrorists. So we don't have a choice. Iran cannot have intercontinental ballistic missiles. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. And either they give them up the easy way or. Or we're going to take them away the hard way. Congressman Randy Fine. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Always appreciate you being on the show. Thanks for having me. Thanks, Congressman. Coming up, we check out the hottest headlines from the RAV newsroom with T. Bates and more on American Sunrise. We'll be right back. This news break is brought to you by amac, association of Mature Americans. Citizen, That's a snowy Statue of Liberty, the nor'. Easter. Oh, if you're in New York and north of New York. Oh, gosh. Praying for you guys this morning for sure. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. Let's get right to the weather. Tracy Anthony, T. Bates, all of it coming to your way. Sponsored by amac, the association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can right the course of America. So look, David, just previewed in New York and New Jersey hoping to reopen today after a major blizzard forced airlines to cancel thousands of flights Sunday. Broadway shows even closed Sunday night. Blizzard warnings are in effect from Maryland north to Massachusetts. The National Weather Service is projecting up to 2ft of snow in some areas. Visibility in others expected to be limited. Let's bring in Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony for the very latest. Tracy, good morning. I know you happen to be in West Palm and not north, not north, not up north on 95 there. New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, any of those areas. Yeah, you know, I'm definitely enjoying the sun down here because they're going to be shoveling snow for a little while and it's that heavy, wet snow. And we've already had snowfall reports of up to about 20 inches. So this is a massive system. It when you compare the central pressure of this system to the hurricane scale, it would be about a Category 2 hurricane. Now, there's differences in these different types of lows, but this is a cold corn low. But as it works up the coast, you can just see it's massive and it is packing a punch with the snow and the wind. We have 20 inch snowfall reports from this morning. They are still getting more snow. So these numbers are going to go up here throughout the day today. And you can see just the big impacts. And this moisture as it gets pushed on shore is meeting the cold air. So you can see right along the coast we have 40 million people under blizzard warnings. So the northeast coast hasn't had these widespread blizzard warnings in several years. So they're no stranger to them. But definitely this is a widespread, massive system. We have onshore winds at about 50 miles per hour that is going to cause some concern when it comes to flooding. So look at this. Boston, 56 mile per hour winds here throughout the start of the day. That's kicking up the stairs. Snow visibility on the low side. We have snowfall rates 1 to 3 inches an hour. So it is just dumping here. And the wave heights are going to get aggressive. So about the next three tide cycles, we could have some coastal flooding as we're expecting about 1 to 2ft of coastal inundation. So the big thing is really going to be power outages now. So especially with the cold air in place. So, Terrence, hopefully everyone kind of prepared before this storm system is it didn't look this aggressive until this weekend. The models definitely took a turn. So not as much time to prepare if you weren't paying close attention. So I hope everyone you know stays safe and has a plan. Hunker down. Kids are going to be very happy though, because they'll be out of school. The work though, unfortunately, will still be there when they get return. Okay, Tracy, always good to see you. Yes, go ahead. I was thinking about that. I was going to ask you, do they have to do virtual school now? You know, some schools do do virtual school even when they're out. And I only know this because I've got school aged kids. So even when there's a snow day, that kind of thing, you know, their assignments still come online and they have to do that. It depends on the school district, of course. But the work has to get done. I can tell you that one way or another, the work is going to get done, which is a good thing. Kids got to get their work done. All right, Tracy, we'll check in with you next hour for our hometown forecast. Always good to see you. Thank you, ma'. Am. In other headlines this morning, a man is dead after the Secret. The Secret Service says the 21 year old had a gas can and a shotgun on him when he was ultimately shot and killed. Investigators tell us the suspect is from North Carolina and bought that shotgun, they believe while heading south to Florida. There's still no word on a motive at this point. While President Trump often spends weekends at his Palm beach resort, he happened to be at the White House this weekend when the breach happened. FBI Director Cash Patel says the bureau is dedicating all necessary resources to the investigation. Sunday's breach follows two assassination attempts against the president. Both of them happened during the campaign. The death of the leader of Mexico's Jalisco New Generation cartel at the hands of the Mexican military has set off a deadly and brutal rampage from Cartel members. The group is said to be Mexico's most powerful drug cartel. Cartel members are blamed for burning cars, blocking roads in more than 20 Mexican states and storming at least one airport, setting a plane ablaze. At last check, at least 14 people were dead. El Mencho, as the deceased cartel member is known, was a top target of the Mexican and US Governments. This because he was one of the top fentanyl traffickers into the United States. Last year, President Trump named the Jalisco New Generation Cartel a foreign terrorist organization. The White House says it provided intelligence support to the Mexican government in order to help find El Mencho. That's a quick check of your headlines. We'll have more headlines coming your way in just a little bit. But up next, President Trump versus Iran. The president warning the Islamic regime to make a deal or face consequences. So what can we ultimately expect? We've got expert analysis right now though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this day in 1836 that Mexican forces under General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana began a 13 day siege of the Alamo in San Antonio. Fewer than 200 Texan defenders, including Davy Crockett and William B. Travis, held out against thousands. It was on March 6 that the mission fell and the entire garrison was killed, sparking a rallying cry. Remember the hour. We're back in a minute. Center of the universe, not my ego, but Times Square is what you're looking at. Everybody New York trying to dig out, but they're still getting snowed on. So we'll have to monitor that. What a huge story today. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. Speaking of huge stories, President Trump says if Iran refuses to give up its nuclear program, guess what? He may order military strikes. Okay, can we change the word may to you know what's going to happen? But that's all right. We'll wait and see. U.S. and Iranian officials are meeting in Geneva for high stakes talks. They're still meeting. Trump is considering an initial targeted attack on Iran's nuclear or military sites. And if that fails, he could pursue a much larger strike later this year. That's according to the reporting in that article. All right, let's bring in former CIA senior operations officer Rick de La Torre. Rick. Well, Willie or Woanee, what's your best guess at this point? Oh, he will. Yeah. Thank you. Iran is in its weakest position since 1979. Right. It's Air defenses have been gutted. All their proxy networks have been fractured. Their leadership has been thinned and cold. His 10 to 15 day clock is in some sort of impulsive deadline. Right. It's what it's doing. It's, it's leveraging, it's leverage applied with precision. Prior administrations, they've chased endless talks with Iran, and all it did is just give Tehran the opportunity to continue to enrich uranium and defund terrorism at the same time. And his goals here in terms are from, you know, are from a position of strength. And they're very clear. Right. You know, no, no new nuclear weapons, no ballistic missiles, no proxies, no internal repression. You know, if Iran steps to the table, hopefully, we'll see, you know, we'll see, you know, we'll see the deal that he is looking for actually materialize and happen. But the clock keeps ticking louder, and it's certainly ticking much louder than any of the threats that they're able to push out. Well, the clock has run out for El Mencho, the cartel leader in Mexico. He, of course, and I, I didn't mean that to be funny. He, he was killed by the Mexican military. So, yes, his clock has ticked out. How do you Trump continuing to push forward and to. Continuing to support the Mexican military, Mexico in general, in their fight against cartels, particularly since the president has named the Jalisco cartel that Edmontro led, a foreign terrorist organization. Right. So the head of the federal military Police down in Mexico, Omar Harfouch, knows these guys firsthand. He lost his, he lost his brother and some of his family members when they, When Jalisco tried to do an attack on him a few years ago and left him in the hospital. So this is, this is really a payback moment for him. He's one of those guys in Mexico that is beyond reproach and stands up to the narcos, and guys like him are few and far between. I think what we saw yesterday, what we may see going into the future is, you know, Trump's obviously put a lot of pressure on the shine. On the Shine Bomb Moreno party to, to. To make things happen, to, to stop the, the illicit drug flow and illicit finance, especially related to fentanyl. What we saw yesterday was when you decapitate the organization, but you don't have plans in place to deal with the captains, the lieutenants and all the others. Well, you turn into violence in the streets there, and sadly, I think that might. We've been here before, but what we need to do is to double down and continue that push. And this administration is providing them the necessary tools and resources and cover to make that happen. Rick, I want to get Your take on this headline from just the news. It reads, republican mayor doesn't want ICE facility in his town. It's Lebanon, Tennessee Mayor Rick Bell. He says he doesn't want it. ICE is possibly looking at adding a facility there. You know, this is kind of surprising coming from a Republican. I read a little bit deeper in this article and he said that he does support border security, obviously, but doesn't think that his town is right for this. I want to get your take on all of this. Shouldn't everyone be welcoming setting up ICE facilities to ensure safety? Well, yeah, I. Look, Mayor Bell is a solid conservative Republican, but sovereignty isn't local. Right. It's a national task. It's an all hands sort of responsibility. And ICE detention isn't a correction facility in the abstract. Right. It's an operational facility. It's the backbone of detaining and deporting criminal illegals who shouldn't be here in the first place. Look, he's a good Republican, but blocking ice, you know, blocking ICE from, from building beds is, is like demanding a secure border while, you know, hiding the keys or not building the wall. Enforcement is an optional and sovereignty and we need to focus on that. I think, I suspect and hope that there'll be some sort of accommodation and something will be, you know, will come up all this and they'll reach some sort of deal that allows ICE to continue to do the work that they're doing. Rick, let me go back to El Mencho there. US Intelligence, we're understanding, helped Mexico kill this guy. Helped. What do you think? I mean, in other words, do you think that El Mencho would still be alive today if it weren't for U.S. intelligence? How much did that U.S. intelligence effort seal the deal in his death? What's your take? Right, so I won't comment on anything that's either active or that I was either directly involved in in the past or anything like that. What I can say is that the United States has excellent relationships with the government, especially with this government of Mexico when it to a very narrowly focused thing and that is counternarcotics operations. The rest I do criticize the Marino party on. But when it comes to counter narcotics operations, the military men and the men of the police forces within Mexico do have a strong working relationship with the United States on different levels. And also this is a testament to our leadership at the embassy down in Mexico too. Ron Johnson, a former colleague of mine in the agency, later turned diplomat, is doing an amazing job as US Ambassador in Mexico because he understands, he understands the capabilities of the United States. He understands the Mexican government and he's able to do the hard work and actually going after these guys, these narco terrorists that all they do is export death to our country. All right, do you think this sort of thing is going to be a one off? I'm sorry, David, just really quickly, do you think this sort of thing will be a one off or will we see more operations like this in the near future? What is your, your insider knowledge? Yeah, we will continue to see more and more of these kinds of operations as they play out. This is the hardest we've been hitting them, I think, ever, honestly. And it's all because of this administration's laser, like, focus on this stuff. The, these narco terrorists have grown from, you know, from, you know, people think that we're talking about the hundreds of millions of dollars. Don't know we're talking about the hundreds of billions of dollars. These aren't, you know, yes, they are at the heart, very much thugs. But these are complete criminal enterprises with, you know, armed to the teeth with the latest technologies with intelligence agencies embedded within them. It's like fighting little nations. Rick, really appreciate your time here today. Thanks so much. Thanks. All right, guys, good talking to you again. All right, coming up, could brushing your teeth daily help protect your brain? Huh? The Supreme Court ruled six, three, as everybody knows by now that President Trump's emergency tariffs were unlawful, saying that the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers act does not give him authority to impose import taxes without the approval of Congress. Trump called the ruling a disgrace and announced new tariffs under a different law, including a global 15% tariff. All right, let's bring in constitutional attorney Chris Ann hall to sort all of this out for us. Chris. Hannah. Yeah. Good luck. I have dinner plans like I say, tonight at 6:00pm so if you could be brief. Just kidding. What do you. What do you think? I mean, did the Supreme Court get this right? What's your take? Good morning. Yes, I think the Supreme Court. I know the Supreme Court got this right. I think the reaction of President Trump actually confirms that they got it right. Because the reality is IEEE but doesn't give this kind of blanket power. And if just as a recommendation, if anybody really wants the sort of cliff Notes and the most important part of the Supreme Court opinion, go read Gorsuch's concurrence because he does an amazing job of pointing out everybody's perspective and showing how IPA doesn't have any kind of autonomous unlimited power like this. The fact that there are other congressional ways for the President to issue tariffs is why IEBA is not the real go to because tariffs have to be reserved to the Congress under Article 1, Section 8. And if Congress is under the major doctrine rule is going to allow the President to exercise some of that power has to be in a very constrained way and that's the way those other statutes are written. The President has basically come out and while he doesn't like the ruling, he seems to be making lemonade out of lemons here and still moving forward with his tariff policy. Do you see challenges coming to the way the President is proceeding? Well, it really depends on how he proceeds. I sort of kind of ask myself. We have these areas that Congress has carved out and I'll just be totally honest with you. I am a constitutionalist, so I don't agree with the Supreme Court that Congress can delegate its power to the President absent an amendment to the Constitution. But this is the reality in the postmodern way that we view these things. But the reality is it always depends on how the President is going to act, exercise those powers. Because when you have the executive exercising a power that has been constitutionally reserved to the legislative branch, it has to be done in a really reserved, really tight way so that you don't, as Gorsuch puts out, obliterate separation of powers, which our founders said was absolutely essential to the preservation of the rights and the liberties of the people. Chrisann. I was reading through Gorsuch's concurrence opinion. So I'm trying to sum it up and kind of dumbing it down in layman's terms, you know, for a non constitutional scholar, which is basically what he was saying is hey Congress, get your act together, you got an important role and you better figure it out because grow a backbone and don't let one man or one entity have this much power. Did I get that right? Yeah. I think that's the crux of one of his major points I love. And I think that Gorsuch actually makes his opinions easy for the layman to understand. He's a brilliant writer. He's actually one of my most favorites. And he's arguably the most constitutional one that we have on the bench at the moment. Chrisann, we appreciate your time as always. We have 15 more questions between the two of us, I'm sure, but unfortunately no more time to ask them, so we'll have to leave it there. Good to see you. Thank you so much for having me. Thanks, Chris. Thank you. Coming up, American tourists in the popular Mexican beach destination of Puerto Vallarta are told to shelter in place after cartel violence erupts. Burning vehicles, canceled flights, a warning from US Officials. All of that is part of the story this morning. We'll have an update from on the ground in Mexico next here on American Sunrise. Now that we're caffeinated let's turn to Mexico, where the ongoing cartel violence has erupted into chaos. Tourists in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, have urged to shelter in place as cartel violence erupts following the death of a notorious cartel leader. Burning vehicles and roadblocks have been reported around the popular resort city, and the US State Department has issued warnings to American travelers to remain indoors. Flights to and from the area have been canceled as authorities monitor the situation. Now let's bring in RAV correspondent Oscar Elblue Ramirez. Oscar, what more can you tell us about this? A very shocking situation. Yeah, the violence has escalated not only in the part of Puerto Vallarta, but also in the part of Jalisco in the state of Michigan where Nemesio Oseguera El Mencho, the guy that was gunned down, had a lot of power and a lot of presence. This escalated into the north cities and the north borders that connected the United States of America. One of them, it is the city that I am located in, in Tijuana, where more than 20 incidents have been, you know, noticeable. And that. Incidents. What do I mean by incidents? Burning, not also of automobiles, but also at businesses, pharmacies, and these kind of oxos that they are, you know, they can resemble as a 7 11. Yesterday, I reported on the ground of four vehicles that they were burned. One of them was concerning. They burned, you know, a pickup truck in front of the border wall that is just steps away from the United States authority. I also said this is a national security issue. Why? Because these cartel members, they burned this vehicle in front of the border wall. But they have cameras of the United States government. So they want to let the United States government know that they're actually doing this on the purpose to destabilize, unstabilize the security of the citizens of Mexico and to send a great message to the United States authorities that they still have presence on these communities, in these neighborhoods. Wow, Oscar, this is a very, very scary situation. Obviously, this is orchestrated, right? This is a strategy by the cartels. Where does it end? Where do you think this goes next? Well, the federal government of Mexico is being greatly pushed by the United States government. It's already been. They already came out giving out statements that this mission executing El Mencho was a collaboration with intelligence by the United States authorities to just take him out. The ones that led the operation were the federal government of Mexico. Now, what the federal government of Mexico needs to do is provide the security for the Mexican citizens. Ultimately, also, we have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of American tourists located in the central parts like Puerto Vallarta, also Jalisco, in parts like Morelia, we have hundreds of thousands of American citizens right here in the city of Tijuana who cross daily to the United States of America to go to work to provide the security for those citizens and also ultimately, at the end of the day, to provide security for Mexican citizens. Now, there was a post that it was circulating yesterday late at night in Tijuana that they were threatening Mexican citizens to not go out after 10 o' clock at night because they were going to start shooting civilians. That was a post that they made on social media. We do not know if it is a credible post or if it's not a credible post. But Mexican citizens are scared to go out late at night. And just late at night, they burned more than three vehicles in international roads that they connect from, you know, from the west side into the east side of the city. You know, Oscar, you brought this up about Tijuana. I lived in San Diego for a while and had so many friends that, like you said, commuted across the border every day. So there's a lot of Americans lives that are at risk too. I think about this. You know, there's so many cartel members that have been pouring into the United States under the negligence of the Biden administration, you know, keeping our border wide open. Are you worried that we might see situations like this happen on our soil? That is incredible that you brought that up. Because under the Biden administration, the cartel grew two times bigger, two times stronger on territory, on land, financially and in technology. And we're seeing the result of that because of the negligence of the Biden administration. Who would ever thought in Tijuana that the cartel Jalisco new generation had this enormous presence? You know, a lot of these studies and the intelligence of the intelligence department of Mexico, they thought that the Sinaloa cartel was the one that it was in charge of the state of Baja California. But now we know that it's completely the contrast and the opposite. And this is because of the negligence of the Biden administration that provided this cartel to have this enormous power. You can see it actually on their technology and their weaponry. And they have a lot of presence inside of the United States of America. This is a national security issue on both sides of the aisle inside of the United States of America. They need to start securing their borders and being on the lookout for drone attacks and possibly, you know, some kind of a. Not an attack, but an approach from the organized crime in the cartel to near the border. It is a National security issue. Also at the end of the day for Mexico, they need to provide security for Mexican citizens and for American tourists that they're located on the other side. Yeah. Oscar, thank you so much for being with us this morning and giving us an update on this situation. Look forward to all of your reports. I know that you're staying on it. Thank you, Oscar. Thank you so much for the invitation. Coming up, a Tennessee bill would require public schools to teach the Bible as literature and allow time for prayer or religious reading. Parents can opt out, but schools face legal consequences if they don't comply. Is this right or wrong? How do you, our viewers, feel about this? Stay with us as we assess next on American Sunrise. God bless the usa. In the beginning, God created the heaven. Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our moment of faith, which is brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God bless the USA Bible. In focus. Today, a bill in Tennessee that would require public schools to teach the Bible as literature and allow time for prayer or even reading religious texts during the school day. Parents could opt their children out of the program, but the proposal would also create legal consequences for schools that don't follow the rules. Supporters say it protects religious freedom, while critics question whether it violates church state separation. For more, let's bring in the senior director for TPUSA Faith. That would be Pastor Lucas Miles. Pastor, always good to see you. Hey, good to be with you. All right, so your thoughts on this bill beneficial, or do you have concerns? You know, look, I love it. The Bible is the most influential book in human history. It's shaped so much of our legal tradition here in the United States, our cultural formation, and also our moral vocabulary. You know, ultimately, you cannot understand America without understanding the Bible and the fact that it's not taught as a historical text and as a literature text in this nation. You know, set aside the whole religious component is, is really crime in and of itself. The historical text, I think, is critical because I think perspective is everything. Putting it into historical context and making sure that you don't just understand the words but understand the time during which it was written and the actual meaning, I think is critical in understanding the Bible. Am I off base there? No, you're absolutely right. And look, the Bible is used by even atheistic archeologists to, you know, find locations to determine, you know, historical, you know, references for things. This is, this is a book that is proven accurate time and time again. It would be foolish for us to not include this in a robust education for every single American. It's central to our understanding of our culture, our way of life. And look, this is not about trying to force religion on somebody. I think it's great that parents should opt out in the same way that, you know, kids can opt out with their parents if they don't want them to read Lord of the Flies or something like that. But this is a text that is worth studying and has proven itself time and time again. I think it's imperative. No, agreed. But I think it's also important that the right person teach it because unfortunately, people can bastardize the words. And I hate to be negative, Nancy, but unfortunately, we've seen that time and time again. Look, I'm not qualified to teach trigonometry or calculus. I had it for a couple, maybe semester or two and I didn't do very well. But you want people that are experts on a subject that are going to teach it in the same way. You want somebody that is an expert on, you know, any form of English or literature that's going to teach that course or math or sciences. And so I think there's an obligation to school systems to find people that have a, you know, an expertise in that area. And obviously there's, there's always a chance that deconstructionists are going to work their way through. Hopefully this bill can allow for some provisions to really get qualified people. I think it'd be great to bring pastors in, you know, to be able to teach these segments if that, if that opens up. Absolutely. That's my thoughts as well. Pastor Miles, always good to talk to you. Good to see you. All right. We'll talk soon. We're back with the second hour of American Sunrise right after this. Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, that guy, the most wanted drug lord and met Mexico dead, taken down. With US Intelligence and violence now erupting across tourist hotspots, we're going to talk about the administration's role in that operation. What Americans need to know straight ahead. Plus, oh, yeah, take that. After the Supreme Court says no go on certain tariffs, President Trump announces he's raising the global tariff rate to 15% just one day after the Supreme Court struck down the president's emergency tariffs. We're going to have the details on the upcoming political showdown and fight in just a moment. And later, a royal tantrum. New revelations on how former Prince Andrew reacted to his removal from a royal lodge ahead of his arrest last week. Well, those allegations are coming out. We're going to dig into that story ahead. He invokes the queen. Those stories and so much more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now. Good morning, America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be patriot. We have to protect the American family. The American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise on a Monday. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Emily Finn in for Dr. G down in West Palm today. T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to both of you. I can tell you this, that we dodged a bullet here in D.C. 3 to 5 inches of snow, maybe in D.C. actually, 2. 2 or 3. Not bad. But Emily, in New York, they didn't dodge a bullet. That's called the bullseye right there. It really is. It's been tough seeing all of all of those images of the snow and the cold. And I was grumpy, as I said, walking to work. I was grumpy and cold this morning. But I don't feel so bad now seeing all of these images there, Terrence. Yeah, absolutely. And unfortunately, New York is dealing with this massive weather. That's what happens when you claim that you've got the best pizza. You get snowed under. It's just what it is. Oh, my gosh. I. I had that coming. Please, shall we move on to the weather, teammates? Don't. Don't ask me how I conflated the two, how I worked that in. But I had to get it. Had to get a dig in. Ha. See what I did there? I dig. Oh, they keep on coming. I'm gonna be here all day. So look, let's check the forecast and the weather there in New York, meteorologist Tracey Anthony from Weather Nation joining us right now with the very latest. So look, it's New York. It's New Jersey, it's Pennsylvania. It's all the way up really, to Massachusetts. That's where we're seeing the biggest issues right now. Is that right, Tracy? That's exactly right. And it's the coastal areas. We have 40 million people under blizzard warnings. Terrence. I asked on getter. I said, hey, anyone in the northeast? I said, let's do a little weather roll call. So wanted to show you. This is from Diane. She's in Warwick, Rhode Island. Look at that. Oh, wow. Look at that. I don't think you're leaving for a while, Diane. Send us your address and we'll see. Well, I guess they can't get to you until it all melts away. So we're sending you love and warm wishes, Diane. Ay, ay, ay. Yeah. So she's gonna be under blizzard warnings here through the rest of the day as they still have a little more stuff, snow that is going to stack up. So the good news is with this system after it, we are expecting temperatures to warm. So it's not going to stick around too long. We'll actually have the sun there to start helping that snow melt. But we had another viewer in Clifton, New Jersey. He said they picked up 18 inches of snow and it's the heavy, wet snow. And they said that they were going to wait until the snow completely wrapped up. I don't know what's better, if it's better to shovel at the end of it when you have 18, 20 inches or if you got to do it in little easier, easier paths. But then one last stop here, we're actually going to warm things up a little bit. But Panama City, Florida, now this is actually fresh cool air that has moved on through the cold front associated with this coastal low impacted areas of South Florida throughout the last 24 hours. Obviously, Panama City in the handle, but West Palm beach here, we got to 90 degrees yesterday and we were waking up with temperatures in the low 50s. So we're all doing a little weather whiplash. I've been talking about it for the last couple weeks, but that's pretty typical for this time of year. Want to show one other thing because power outages will be the big concern up north, and we're starting to see those numbers continue to increase, Terrence. So hopefully everyone is safe. And, you know, the weather conditions will slowly start to improve through the second half of the day, but still very impressive snowfall rates this morning. Absolutely. Tracy, thanks so much. And to our friends over in the Northeast, you're in our prayers. Hopefully you get through this unscathed. Thanks so much, Tracy. Yep. All right, let's get you over to David now. David, good morning. And I apologize for being so petty about your New York pizza. I'm sorry. I will do better next time. That is okay. I'm confident in my New York pizza, you know, reviews, if you will. All right. Let's talk about Mexican security forces. They've killed the country's most wanted drug lord, known as El Mencho, after receiving key intelligence from the United States. According to both the Trump administration And the Mexico Defense Ministry. Sunday's operation targeted the leader of the Jalisco New Generational Cartel, a group designated as a terrorist organization by the United States. In a post on X, press Secretary Caroline Levitt wrote the following. She said, president Trump has been very clear the United States will ensure narco terrorists sending deadly drugs to our homeland are forced to face the wrath of justice they have long deserved. All right. Joining us now with the reaction is Rav Chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn with us. Brian, I mean, look, this guy lived in the United States for, I think it was 14, 15 years or so. He was literally arrested multiple times, then released, finally put in a jail in Texas for three years, and then, excuse me, he was arrested, jailed for five years. But they let him go after three years and said, okay, now you gotta get back to Mexico. And then he goes to Mexico in the early 90s. And, well, the rest is drug lord history, if you will. It is. Good morning, everybody. I think this is the war that America actually wants. It's the war against the drug cartels. And that's one of the things that, that President Trump campaigned on, was the fighting, the narcotics coming through Mexico into our country. And as the images on your screen played out, I said this earlier in the early edition, I have a friend in Puerto Vallarta. He is an American businessman with a practice down there in Puerto Ricarda. And he said, hey, it is a scary situation right now. He's got clients that are in town that can't get out, and they've got people that were scheduled to fly in that obviously are canceling their plans. But this is a commitment, I think, from President Trump and the administration that when it comes to dealing with these narco terrorists, and that's exactly what they are, they're going to handle it as swiftly as possible. And of course, now the cartel has resorted to setting cars on fire and kind of as a, you know, kind of a retribution, if you will, for the attack. But, yeah, he's not coming back to the United States, at least not if he does. El Mincho will be in a casket. Absolutely. So, look, Brian, tomorrow is the President's State of the Union address. And I suspect that one of the themes will be tariffs. All of this, of course, after the President announced that he's raising his global tariff to 15%. All of this coming on the heels of the Supreme Court striking down the president's emergency tariffs. Here was the president speaking on this and even slamming the Supreme Court over the weekend. The Supreme Court's ruling on tariffs is deeply disappointing and I'm ashamed of certain members of the court, absolutely ashamed for not having the courage to do what's right for our country. I'd like to thank and congratulate Justices Thomas, Alicia and Kavanaugh for their strength and wisdom and love of our country. So, Brian, one of the other things that he mentioned there is that he felt this ruling from the Supreme Court actually gives him a little bit more leeway as it relates to tariffs. Are you buying that? And walk us through the president's strategy moving forward here. Well, this was initially an option for the president. He did talk about that during this briefing that they did. They were aware of the section 133 that they could actually go, but they decided to go with option A. Well, option B is what's turned out to be what we have to do, and that's for the next 150 days. Now, that new tariff kicks in, I believe, at 1201 tomorrow. So Tuesday morning. Now, what also is in discussion is this $133 billion in tariffs that have been collected with, with the by the US Government. So where does that money go? And if you can think of it as some type of escrow account where it's going to sit there for a while. So at the end of the day, will it be returned to the businesses? Perhaps, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. This is anticipated to be played out in the courts for the next year or two. So that $133 billion that we collected, it's just going to be on hold for just a little bit until we can figure out where it goes. But nevertheless, President Trump seemed very optimistic on the fact that we will continue to collect these tariffs. Yeah, Brian, President Trump was hard at work at the White House all weekend on this, but there was a very scary situation at his club in Palm beach here over the weekend. Secret Service agents shot and killed an armed man as they were trying to secure the perimeter of Mar A Lago. The man was able to get his car inside the secure area. He was reportedly in his early 20s and was pronounced dead on the scene. Like I said, President Trump was at the White House when the shooting occurred. But what more can you tell us about this situation, Brian? A very scary situation that someone was able to get that close. Yeah. Emily, as someone who has, you know, been in the motorcade from from Mar a Lago to PBI has been at Mar A Lago several times, I look at the situation and think, how did this guy scale over these Fences to get on the property inside. Now he was to trying shot as soon as he did put the can down. But the officer, the Secret Service agent shot the suspect there when he pulled the shotgun and aimed it in his direction, that's when he was shot. But this is, you know, kind of the third, I guess you could say, assassination attempt. Even though President Trump was not at the White House. I mean he was at the White House, not at Mar a Lago and in fact that we don't know what the shooters intent was there at Mar A Lago, I'm assuming with some kind of flammable liquid maybe perhaps he was planning on set the place on fire investigation kind of will maybe show more of that but certainly a situation that if you're the Secret Service now you've got to be looking at the fact that how can someone get that close not only from the outside of Mar A Lago, but how do they get over that fence on the inside needs to beef up the security there in and around Mar A Lago. But once again that's another example how our political nature has driven what now this individual 21 year old man from North Carolina. What has led him to do something like this? Yeah. Hey Brian, we have got about 30 seconds or so. T. Bates mentioned it just briefly before about the State of the Union. That is of course tomorrow and you can see it right here on Real America's voice starting at 7pm you see we are see that the real State of the Union coverage. Yeah. So I'm curious to kind of get your take on it in 30 seconds. I mean it's gonna be interesting because the Supreme Court justices are gonna be right there in front of him, you know, when he has the address to Congress. By the way, he came out, the President came out just two hours ago on social media saying he's going to now refer to the Supreme Court in all lowercase. He's decided to do that. So yeah, little trolling on truth social. I saw that. And of course David, we talked about this last week. I think there's a lot of emphasis on the economy and the way that he has reduced the, the inflation and the direction of the US economy, the strength of economy bringing manufacturing back this country. I think it stays on that. That's why I did not think any type of preemptive kinetic strike in Iran would happen before the State of the Union because that would obviously be the dominant talking point. But nevertheless, President Trump addressing the State of the Union. We have complete coverage right here in Real America's voice starting at 7pm Eastern. I'll be at the White House, by the way, tomorrow night as well. Okay, that's a really good point about the strike. That's a good point. Brian Glenn, the man, the myth, the legend. Thank you so much, sir. You're the best. Stop it. Thanks be. Thank you, guys. Oh, we won't stop it. We will not stop it. But we have to go to the Birch Gold promotion. We're going to have those details when we come back. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning, we are flushing out massive welfare fraud in Minnesota. Scrutiny is heating up on Capitol Hill over billions in alleged welfare fraud in Minnesota. Now House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan says state officials may have assisted the scheme. As you can see, the dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ are down in terms of the futures, and they're expected to open a little bit lower today, largely on what experts are calling the tariff turmoil. We, of course, will take you to the New York Stock Exchange live here in just a little bit for the opening bell. And we'll let you know how the stocks are looking once that bell rings. First, though, let's get you over to Emily. Emily, good morning. Thank you very much, Terrence. It is so bitter cold everywhere. So I thought that this week we could talk about how cold weather affects your skin and lips and the different ingredients and products that people can use to protect the skin. Joining me now with more is the co founder of Exoceuticals, Dr. Robin L. Smith. Great to be with you this morning, Robin, thanks for joining us. Why when it's cold and snowing, do our lips crack and your skin feels so dry? I mean, this is something that I have had to deal with. I lived in Michigan my whole life. Now down here in West Palm, it's a little bit easier. But what is actually happening to your skin and how can you feel? So when it's cold out there isn't humidity and it pulls all the fluid and the water from your skin so you get dry and cracking and it's very sort of flaky. So it compromises that skin barrier which makes you more susceptible to the environment. That totally makes sense. So what are the ingredients in products that people should be looking out for when they're looking for a lip product or a skin product to help them fight the cold weather? Yeah. So I think there are two really important things for the lip. At Exoceuticals, we have a great product which has Squalane in it and that has natural moisturizing factor. It's light and stable, but it gives a great protective barrier to the lips. So it keeps that hydration in. And as soon as you use it, you feel it immediately. You feel this deep hydration it absorbs. It's gooey but not sticky. So you get this look of soft, smooth, supple lips and it really lasts throughout the day. So it's really it's an incredible product. We can't keep it off the shelves. I mean, it is just flying off the shelves. It's called Exo Lip and it has many ingredients in it, not just the Squalane, but it has different peptides and comes from plants and oils are Exo3 exosomes. So it stimulates the collagen and it really helps your lips stay sort of supple and smooth and not cracked throughout the winter. The other one is ceramides. That's really, really important for our skin because you can use serums like hyaluronic acid that pull the water in, but it will just come right out in that cold, which is just pulling all the fluid. So the ceramides, I think of it like mortar and bricks. It holds the area between the different skin cells and it sort of occludes them so that as you get the hydration in, it holds it into the skin and you get that smooth, hydrated, protected feeling, both for the barrier as well as from the environment. So it's really important to look for these ingredients when you look at products. Our exoceuticals Exoface Perfection Moisturizer has the natural moisturizing factor, has ceramides, it has the hyaluronic acid to bring that hydration in. Vitamins and lipids, different peptides, and the Exo3 exosomes that help stimulate the collagen, the hyaluronic acid, the elastic. So it's really finding that balance in the different weather that's out there to really protect the skin barrier. Keep that hydration in, get your collagen stimulating it to really help the skin barrier and have that smooth complexion with wrinkles going down and just a bright smooth look. Yeah, it really sounds like locking in that hydration, like you said, that is the key to making sure that your skin isn't getting too dry in the this cold weather. I'm going to send some of these exoceutical products up to my mom and sister in Michigan. I think they really, really are in need of it. You know, there's so many companies like chapstick, for example. I've been reading that the ingredients in chapstick are literally, they get you to come back to their company to buy more. So it's not doing anything long term to really help your lips. The ingredients in your products are actually really beneficial and really, really good. So it's something that I hope that my mom and sister and all of our viewers that are watching right now can have a chance to check out. Is there any other tips that you have for making sure that you stay moisturized and you stay hydrated throughout these cold, dry winter months? Yeah, I think it's really important to just protect it. You know, put your scarf around your face, your neck, really stay sort of as warm as you can and protect yourself. One thing that makes things worse, sometimes people will wear tight clothing. Right. You wear that long underwear and then you, you put lots of layers. And if you don't keep that skin barrier protected, it can actually make it sort of redder and more susceptible to the environment. So make sure that circulation is moving through. Don't have too tight clothes. Layers are great. And stay hydrated from the inside and out. Yeah. And our viewers can scan that QR code at the bottom of the screen right now to check out all of the exoceutical products to make sure that you're staying hydrated this winter. And, and just want to ask you really quick before we let you go here, is there one product in particular? We talked about the exo lips, a couple other things that you guys have on the market right now. Is there one thing in particular that you're like, you need to have this right now. You're not going to be able to make it through the winter without this. Yeah. I mean, the two things I think are Exo Phase Perfection Moisturizer. That it's just an incredible moisturizer, but also the hyaluronic acid, you've got to bring that fluid in. You have to to bring the hydration from inside and out and then put that occlusive barrier. So those are my two favorite. But I have to say, people love that exo lip. We just cannot keep it on the shelves. So those are my three favorites for now. And it's just, I hope everyone stays warm. Give it a try. We're giving big discounts for buying it on the show and we hope you'll try the products. Fantastic. Dr. Robin L. Smith, we so appreciate you. Again, that QR code is at the bottom of our screen for all of our viewers to check out these products and make sure that your skin is looking plump and moisturized and hydrated all throughout the winter. We so appreciate you being with us this morning and sharing all of those tips for these winter months. We're getting down to the end here. Only a few months left and then we'll be having some spring and some warm weather again. Really appreciate you being with us today. I hope your mom and sister enjoy the products. I'm sure they will. Next time you're on the show, I'll give you the full review of what they say. All right. Stay protected, everyone. It's cold out there. Yes, it certainly is. Thank you again for being with us. And again, that QR code for everything exoceuticals has to offer Right there on the bottom of your screen. Scan it right now. Pull out your phone. Now let's head back over to Terrence in Denver for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It is all sponsored by amac. The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can write the course of America. Welcome back, everyone. We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here momentarily. You hear the applause there in the background, which means the bell is going to ring here in short order. And then we'll get an idea of how the markets are opening on this first day of trading of the week. The expectation for many insiders is that the tariff policy in the Supreme Court's ruling on President Trump's tariffs will have an impact on the markets. So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. You hear the opening bell. The markets are now officially open. And as you can see, top to bottom, not looking so hot, necessarily. The Dow and S&P 500 are in the red, it looks like. Looks like the Nasdaq is up in the green right now in the bottom half of our bracket. The bottom half, excuse me, of, of this board is in the green and looks like the Nasdaq actually just dipped into the red. That was the expectation that markets would open a little bit lower today as a result of the turmoil that's related to the tariffs. We'll, of course, continue to monitor all of this for you throughout the day and keep you updated in the meantime. Still to come here on American Sunrise, the DOJ says that all of its files on Jeffrey Epstein have now been unsealed. But a new Rasmussen report survey shows that most likely voters still see drama and cover up. We'll break down the numbers when American Sunrise continues. Join our conversation and let us know what you're thinking and what's on your mind. Time now to take the political pulse of America and the beat. Today, you ask? Well, it would be. Even after the release of millions of newly unsealed documents tied to the late Jeffrey Epstein, a new Rasmussen Report survey finds that a majority of likely voters still see drama, secrecy and unanswered questions. According to the poll, 54% of respondents say that they believe there's a cover up by government officials to hide President Trump's alleged involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. This includes 40% of likely voters who believe a cover up is very likely. However, another 40% do not believe the Trump administration and Trump administration officials are involved in a cover up. 26% say a cover up is not likely at all. All of this follows a massive release of files related to the disgraced sex trafficker by the Department of Justice. Despite that release, though, many voters remain skeptical, with many believing they are still being lied to. Joining us now with reaction is the managing editor for the Daily Signal and the author of the book the Woke to Puss, Tyler o' Neill joining us this morning. Tyler, good to see you as always, my friend. Do these respondents have a point there? And is the administration to some degree responsible for this reaction given the way it handled the releases of these documents? Yeah. Good morning, Terrence. I think that what we're seeing with the Epstein scandal here is that we've known for forever that Epstein was horrible news. And the interesting aspect here is that Trump knew and Trump distanced himself from Epstein long ago. So there are, you know, there was some involvement that the perform that at the time he was not the president had. And, you know, I think it has been, we have seen a tremendous amount of transparency from this administration regarding all of these files that they've been releasing. But there are so many different issues at play here. So right now, you know, as we're talking, we also have a lot of drama with the Clintons testifying about these same issues. And the Epstein scandal has pulled down a lot of very famous and influential people. And if you look at what has, what the involvement with Trump was, it's a very limited thing compared to when you're looking at situations like Prince Andrew, when you're looking at Bill Clinton. And there are questions that need to be answered across the political spectrum. I think this Department of Justice has been taking tremendous strides to reveal the truth that the American people have been wanting for a long time. I also think there are a lot of people whose names had to be redacted because there isn't wrongdoing in association with them. And so, you know, you have, you have to balance these two competing interests. I think it would have been better from the beginning if we had heard from the, from the Justice Department and the Trump administration that we have competing interests here. And instead we had this almost kicking the ball. You know, it was like Lucy with the football. And this, this is a scandal that, that we had previously. It is very interesting. I always go back to the fact that if there were a tremendous smoking gun with Trump and Epstein, I find it very hard to believe that the previous administration would not have revealed it. Tyler, I can guarantee you we're not going to hear about the Epstein files at the State of the Union speech tomorrow. That's for sure. And speaking of that, of course, he is set to deliver it at 7pm Excuse me, it's at 9pm but we'll start our coverage here, by the way, at 7pm Called the real State of the Union. We have Vice President J.D. vance talking about it, kind of previewing it. Take a look at what he had to say. Because, you know, if you lower a person's gas bill or you lower a person's electricity bill, yeah, that's good because they're paying less money for gas and electricity. But it also means the farmer who has taken the food to the grocery store, that price goes down because the farmer's paying less for gas and electricity, too. So you'll hear a lot about the Trump energy boom, which is very powerful, record low energy prices. And that's a very good thing to point to. So, Tyler, here's the problem. I think for Trump, he's a really positive guy. And, you know, I've done, I've written books about, or a book about him. And he talks about a lot about the power of positive thinking from Norman Vincent Peale, his former pastor. This is what he thinks about all the time. He always has a way of figuring things out and getting to yes. And he refuses to be Negative. The problem is, is that if you've got certain voters out there, certain folks that are not feeling what he is saying, there becomes a disconnect. And I think that's his biggest challenge because, you know, he's always like, it's fine, it's great, it's gonna be wonderful. But you know what? If people aren't feeling it, that can be a problem. Tyler? Yeah, I agree. I think what we have on the ground in the economic situation in our country right now is actually many positives, indicators. Inflation has cooled substantially. And if you look at real wages, they're outpacing inflation, which means that, thank goodness, Americans finally have more money in our wallets. That goes further than it did during those horrible Biden years with the inflation that we had from over government overspending. Also, that deregulation piece is huge. The president or President Trump just took a wrecking ball to the worst of the EPA's decisions. That was called the it's a greenhouse gas rule, and it effectively said it was called the endangerment finding. This was the centerpiece of the EPA's regulation on greenhouse gases. And now that has been removed, which means that we are looking at a very, very likely energy boom in this country with declining gas prices. And that's going to bring the prices of all sorts of goods and services down as our economy is unshackled from these regulations. But I also agree with you. I think America is very divided right now. You have a great movement of hatred against ICE and against law enforcement, this constant demonization in some of these blue states. You have neo Confederate rhetoric. And I think President Trump needs to address the rising scourge of leftist violence. I mean, we saw the assassination of Charlie Kirk last year, this year. And I wrote this story before we had that gunman who got shot at Mar A Lago over the weekend. There had been at least 10 people arrested or charged for threatening members of the Trump administration in the first less than two months of this year alone. And so that includes, you know, the man who showed up to Vice President Pence's house and the man who is casing the house of OMB Director Russ Vogt. And there, these threats are significant. That's why you're facing, why these people are facing charges for them. So, on the one hand, yes, Americans are feeling better, and I think there is positive news on the economy that we can look forward to this year. But Trump also has to address the many concerns that Americans have, concerns about what's happening with Iran, concerns about his immigration Strategy. I think he needs to continue the mass deportations. But what we saw from Minneapolis, we have to figure out what the plan is going forward. And I think President Trump needs to address those issues, needs to provide the roadmap, and needs to really address this specter of leftist violence. Tyler, I do want to change gears here. Minnesota pastor Jonathan Parnell, who was attempting to read from the Bible when agitators disrupted his service, is speaking out about the incident now. The pastor described the event as a flash mob, recalling that several individuals broke in, shouting, hands up, don't shoot. Leading many worshipers to flee, believing it was an active shooter situation. Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has pled not guilty for his involvement with the incident. Want to get your thoughts on this? I mean, this is America, and we're seeing situations like this happen. It's unbelievable. Yeah, this invasion of a church service was extremely egregious. I think it is very. It's a very positive development that the Justice Department has filed charges to protect the First Amendment rights of those who gathered at their church to worship on a Sunday morning. And we've heard a lot of defenses of Don Lemon saying he was a journalist, he was protected by the First Amendment. But I think the lawyer for the church made an excellent point when she said that the First Amendment does not, you know, the freedom of the press does not give you carte blanche to disrupt a church service and to accost people in the middle of it. It. And what we saw from Don Lemon, from the beginning, he was strategizing with the organizers of this invasion. He knew the location of the church. He knew that they were going to disrupt business as usual. And if you ask me, that's a clear intent to interfere with someone's First Amendment rights. Now, this situation, you know, the pastor has finally opened his mouth on this, and he said that Don Lemon was in on the terror. Those are his words. And I think if you look at the videos, you can't but come to the realization that this was effectively terror unleashed in a church. Absolutely. And it's going to be decided now in the courts. Tyler o', Neill, always good to talk to you, my friend. Thanks so much for being here with us. Thanks again for having me. Absolutely. All right, folks, it's now time to spill some tea. Coming up on American Sunrise, a royal meltdown and a stunning fall from great Andrew Mountbatten. Windsor, stripped of his titles and reputation, reportedly made a desperate plea as he was evicted from his 30 room Windsor mansion and moved to an estate earlier this month. Insiders have stated that Andrew refused to leave, shouting, I'm the queen's second son. You can't do this to me. Invoking Queen Elizabeth II as he fought the move. The revelation follows his arrest on suspicion of sharing confidential trade documents while serving as a British trade envoy. If convicted, he could face life in prison. That's upstate upstate New York. 12 inches or so of snow on the ground there and still snowing a little bit. Anyhow, we'll see what the final total is when. Welcome back, everybody. All right, so look, when someone starts choking, every second obviously counts. And knowing what to do could be the difference between life and death. Well, this morning we're looking at why understanding choking hazards and recognizing the signs and learning basic life saving Skills matter more than ever. From children to adults, choking emergencies can strike anyone, anywhere. Too many people really don't know how to help themselves or others. So joining us now with information on that and what we should know is life at CEO Arthur Lee. Arthur, good morning to you. I'm curious for you to share with our audience things that are important and what they need to know. Good morning. Hey, good morning. Thank you. This will save lives. You know what people don't realize and believe is over 5,000 people a year choked to death. It's the fourth leading cause of accidental death. And it happens all the time. You know, about 16 people a day choked to death. And you know, the way to fend it off is, you know, being aware that it happens all the time. Getting trained, being able to do backflows and abdominal thrust and having a fail safe mechanism like LifeVac to seal the deal and make sure that the person survives. Tell us more about that, that device that you just held up there, explain it and so people understand what they can do with it. Well, about 13 years ago, I heard of a 7 year old that choked to death. My daughter was 7. I had taken the class. But I found out it doesn't always work. It's just the way it is. No matter how well you're trained, it just doesn't always work. So I came up with a simple mechanism. It's a little sink plunger basically, right? You compress it, when you push it down, the air shoots out the side and then you pull it up and you hear that pop. Sucks the object out. And you know, just this morning, some police officers in Illinois saved a life. We save about five to seven a day now. Over 3,000 children, over 5,000 lives. So the real solution is to be aware, to be conscious, look out for things and get trained and hopefully have a life back. And help me out a little bit about this. So that LifeVac, how portable is it? I mean, I take it you can bring it like, I mean, to restaurants and stuff like that, right? I mean, how's that work? Well, luckily a lot of places are now carrying it. You know, the state of Texas just requires it in every school. Numerous other states are pending. But yeah, I mean, I carry one. We carry one in our car, keep one at home. And we've had numerous good Samaritans save someone else, which is a lovely thing in this day and age that we're out there helping each other. But it's, you know, it's so common, particularly for children and the elderly. You can save Yourself, if you live alone. So, you know, it's a simple thing, it's inexpensive, it lasts forever. And, you know, we just hope that, you know, it's such a tragedy. You know, life changes like that, particularly painful with the children. Right? So it's a simple thing. And this raises awareness and will save a life. All right, ten seconds or so. Where do people go to get more information? Where? If they want to buy it, where do they go? Best place to go to lifevac.net and there's full training, full information, like I said, lasts forever. So it's a one time purchase. If you use it, we'll give you a free one and protect your whole family and yourself. So, you know, you got a fire extinguisher, well, you're more likely to choke to death, so. So consider that, Arthur. Really appreciate it. Really the most important information we had on the show all day and really appreciate your time. Thanks again. Appreciate you. It's gonna save a life. Thank you very much. All right, good. Coming up, I'm actually standing by. I'm actually sitting by with the top story that I'm keeping my eye on today. That One to Watch is next after the break. Everybody. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. Thank you so much for being with us this morning. Time now for the One to watch. And David, what are you keeping your eye on today? Well, this video, Emily. So the FBI is standing by Director Cash Patel this morning after this new video showed him celebrating Team USA's Olympic hockey gold in Milan even as he continued overseeing multiple national security crises from aboard. Let's listen. Let's listen to some of this. He's like, let's go, let's go. Patel was invited into the locker room. He was invited there by the players themselves, sharing a moment of American pride with gold medalist Dylan Larkin. His team says the director was in Italy for pre scheduled security meetings and received briefings on Iran, Mar A Lago, and the search for Nancy Guthrie throughout the weekend. So he was remaining fully engaged. But, you know, I have to say, guys, Emily, I'll start with you. When I first saw this video, it was kind of weird. And then I ultimately came to a conclusion of like, yeah, I'm okay with it. I mean, it's, you know, usa. But just to see the FBI director in the locker room, I don't know, kind of jarred me for a moment. I will say, David, that's exactly what I looked like yesterday playing Free Bird, the guitar solo, you know, partying for the US hockey. But I Am not running the FBI. You know, with so many problems happening in the US Right now, I don't think he was looking for Nancy Guthrie in Milan. I don't think any of the Epstein documents. He wasn't working on any progress there. So I was a little disappointed to see this video. I mean, obviously, enjoy that. He loves the U.S. hockey team, loves America. That's awesome. But get back to work. Cash, what are you doing? Terrence? That's just my thought. I get both sides. I like the patriotic nature of. Of him celebrating with Team usa particularly. I've given kind of the historic nature, if you will, of the U.S. hockey team beating Canada, which, of course, is the chief rival. And this is a great achievement. I get that. And I also understand the criticism that there's so much work that needs to be done, and people want Cash to be fully focused on that. And not to say that he's not. I think he can do two things at once. The reality is, as the FBI director, he's not directly involved in all of the investigations. That's what he's got rank and file for. So I get it. I would say, just in terms of the visibility, the public visibility, that may be an issue. Go ahead, David. Not a good look. He deserves. He deserves a personal life. I mean, look. And he's having a moment. Let him have it. Also, he's a former hockey player, so he's really into hockey. Whatever. I don't know. I. I was celebrated like that. Two with him. That was an awesome win for the US Hockey team. All right, thank you. Thank you so much to all of our viewers for tuning in today. We have War Room up next. We'll be back with more American Sunrise tomorrow. Go boldly now. This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human.
