Just ahead on American Sunrise. A fast and furious day in Trump world as Matt Gates withdraws from consideration to beat ag. But President Trump quickly appoints former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to replace him. Now the pressure moves over to some other Trump nominees, especially Defense Secretary designate Pete Hegg says. But RFK Jr. And Tulsi Gabbit are still highly targeted by Democrats and establishment Republicans as well. And being a liberal Democrat in America means never having to say you're sorry. The Illinois Supreme Court nixes the conviction for race baiting hoaxer Jussie Smollett. Must be nice these stories. So much more as American Sunrise starts this Freedom Friday. This Puppy Friday. Here we go.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Carol Markowitz
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics.

Mary Kathryn Ham
And I'm Dr. Gina.
Carol Markowitz
Good morning, everybody. I'm Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in Bo Davidson. He is in for T. Bates. And David Brody is here with us from Washington D.C. good morning, gentlemen.
Bo Davidson
Good morning, Dr. G. It's a crazy.
Carol Markowitz
Good morning, Dr. G. David, we're freezing here.
David Brody
It's like, what is it, 71?
Carol Markowitz
What is it, 70 degrees? I had my windows open overnight and I was freezing. It's cold, isn't it, Bo?
Bo Davidson
It is. It is actually came in this morning. I was thinking 60s maybe. I think it felt very, very brisk. It felt actually like fall, which is rare for Florida.
Carol Markowitz
Yeah.
David Brody
The struggle is real. The struggle is real. I understand. I feel, I feel horrible for both of you. But wait a minute. Not really. Anyhow, hi, both. It's great to see you both on this Friday.
Bo Davidson
Great to see you. What's the weather like in D.C. david?
David Brody
Well, it's always, I mean, from a spiritual standpoint, it's always cloudy and it's actually very rainy. But actually Today it's about 45 or so. You know, it's just your normal stuff, normal deep state weather.
Hogan Gidley
All right.
David Brody
All right.
Bo Davidson
Well, good to see you, David. Good to see you, Dr. G. Coming up a little later in today's show, we'll look at the rising risk of an escalation war between Russia and Ukraine. The Biden Harris administration seems to be deliberately provoking Russia. We'll have the latest on that story and more just ahead. But now let's toss this over to Dr. G for this morning's Bible verse.
Carol Markowitz
Dr. G. Let's do it. Today's Bible verses, they are Matthew, chapter 28, verses 19 and 20. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even into the end of the world. Amen. Well, listen, we could need some divine companionship considering all of the wild changes in the news over the last 24 hours, but here's where we stand. Matt Gaetz dropped out of consideration for AG and a few hours later, President Trump named Pam Bondi as his choice to replace him. Joining us now to talk about this and more is former deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley. Hogan, a lot to wade through here, but what's your big takeaway from Gates dropping out, Bondi coming in? I personally feel like she's a pretty easy confirmation. I think you could even pull some Democrats. But what are your thoughts?
Hogan Gidley
First things first. David Brody, fake news. It's 30 degrees in Washington, D.C. 45.
David Brody
I don't get out much. I don't get out much.
Hogan Gidley
Anyway, look, I think Donald Trump has had an outstanding run so far, moving very quickly, making some significant strong picks, and you all know them. It's the Marco Rubios, the Stefaniks, Tom Holman, Matt Whitaker, so many. And this Gates pick was going to be a big one. As you know, as you're president of the United States, you have a lot of political capital to expend. And quite frankly, Donald Trump had more than most because he had won all the swing states and won the popular vote. He banked a lot of capital. It appeared as though on Capitol Hill though, this was going to be tougher than most of his picks. And kudos to Matt Gaetz. I mean someone who's very talented, was a great congressman, extremely good on television and in political battles. And he said, listen, I want to step down because I want to give Donald Trump the chance to get off the ground in a smooth way, running headstrong and headlong to that America first agenda, implementing the policies he promised he would. And I don't want to be a hindrance of that. I mean, good for Matt Gaetz for saying so. And I don't think a lot of people in the Senate were going to give him really a fair hearing at all. He saw that, got out of the way and now Donald Trump says I'm going to endorse and put up nominate rather Pam Bondi, someone we all know. She is absolutely amazing. I mean, has anyone checked in on Mark Cuban, by the way? Because last I heard he doesn't describe himself. Smart, strong, powerful women. But here we are, someone like Pam Bondi, not only does she know the law, being Attorney general of the state of Florida, but she's a confidant of the president. She always tells him what he needs to hear, not always what he wants to hear. I've been on boat parades and bus tours with Pam. She's a great person, a great political mind, but also knows the law inside and out. I'm really excited for this pick.
David Brody
And here's the thing. The liberals, I thought the liberals were telling us that it was going to be make misogyny great again. Wasn't that the deal? I mean, and then we got Pam Bondi, we got Linda McMahon at education, Tulsi Gabbard, and the list will continue to go on. So give me a I believe in New York we say freakin break, but actually in morning TV it's freakin break. It's something different after hours. All right, Hogan, by the way, 38 today. So let's split the difference if we could. Now the pressure appears to be on. Defense Secretary Pete Hegset, you mentioned him here. He did recently admit to paying a woman after he said that they had a consensual account encounter. She claimed otherwise. Anyhow, here's what he said. He was confronted by reporters yesterday on the Hill. Take a look.
Mary Kathryn Ham
Did you Sexually call women in Monterrey, California.
David Brody
I have. As far as the media is concerned, I'll keep this very simple. The matter was fully investigated and I was completely clear. And that's probably.
Mary Kathryn Ham
Thank you very much.
David Brody
He said he was completely clear and he went on to talk about that. Give us your thoughts on this. It seems to me like out of everybody, this could be the next potential problematic situation. What do you think?
Hogan Gidley
Yeah, it could be. And listen, Pete's right. It was investigated. No charges were brought. He was exonerated from this matter. But the fact is the Department of Defense, as we know, is necessary for this country's defense. But it is extremely bloated and it does have a lot of problems and it has a lot of rot at the top. This is a department, remember, that allowed a Chinese spy balloon to traverse the entire width of our country starting in the Pacific Northwest, stopping and pausing, mind you, over the military installations and nuclear sites just to get a little extra tidbit of data and info for the Chinese communist government. Then going across our country, ending up, of course, in South Carolina where it had to be shot down. Leave it to the south to take care of everything, but that's fine. Also drones flying back and forth over Langley, the CIA headquarters, unmanned drones, and it took them weeks to even figure out it was happening. The Afghanistan withdrawal that led to the unnecessary deaths of 13American servicemembers. And these are the failures from top to bottom inside the dod. You want someone in there who understands combat, which of course Pete Hagseth does. We know he's a two time Bronze Star winner, et cetera. The media is just going to say, oh yeah, he's just a TV host. The guy went to Harvard and to Princeton in addition to that, served our nation extremely well and has been heralded and praised for his service in combat. So he's got experience for, from all corners of the political universe, from the policy universe. I think this is a good pick too. And what I'm hearing on Capitol Hill is that he's actually going to get confirmed since ready for this one. So we'll see what happens, as Donald Trump likes to say. But the fact is the DoD has got some problems, as do all of these agencies. The American people voted for change. That's what they got.
Bo Davidson
Well, Hogan, you know, Joe Biden's mental decline was the worst kept secret in America for the last four years. And some say the weak covering up of his condition is the biggest political scandal ever of all time. But now suddenly Democrats are willing to talk about it as The New York Post is reporting pollster Nate Silver calls on Biden to resign after claiming he isn't competent. Let Harris serve. Hogan, there's a lot wrong with all of this, and I'll just let you tell us what you think is the worst part.
Hogan Gidley
The worst part is the COVID up is the lie. The American people writ large didn't really pay attention too much to Biden, but us on the conserv of right understood this. Every time he spoke, it was a problem. You saw the cognitive decline. You saw the mental and physical problems Joe Biden had. And the media writ large covered this up. And then after that debate, what it exposed was not just how bad Joe Biden really was, was it showed to the American people. Wait a minute. This didn't just happen overnight. When did this decline start? And then you realize the media would release stories about how cabinet secretaries years ago would say, joe Biden's lost it. I'm not sure he's doing in this meeting. He kind of looks off into the distance. He rambles. He tells the story, same story multiple times to the same people in the same meeting. Problem after problem after problem. They knew this. The COVID up was the big issue. And remember, this race for president went from the longest presidential race in history to the shortest presidential race in history because it started two years ago. And then we had a sprint to the finish once they changed and got rid of him and pushed in Kamala Harris. I will say, though, Joe Biden was in the catbird seat, in my opinion, because had Kamala won, he could have easily said, see, I saw her as the future. I plucked her out of the Senate because I knew she had this potential. And here we are, the first female vice president of the United States. And if she lost, which she did, he can say, see, I told you I was the better candidate. But as we all know, the Kamala Harris people hate the Joe Biden people, hate the Obama people hate the Kamala Harris people. It's a big circle. They all hate each other. So stories like this are gonna keep coming out over and over again. But spare me the media saying all of a sudden that he should step down and let Kamala Harris be the first female president in this country's history. You could have had that a long time ago, and you didn't push for it. You try to let them split the baby by saying he's not fit to run, but he is fit to serve, which is insane. And I think that was part and parcel as to why Donald Trump won the White House. And Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lost it.
Carol Markowitz
Hogan Gidley, we have about 20 seconds, but are we going to see Hogan Gidley in President Trump's cabinet somewhere?
David Brody
Please, please, please, please.
Hogan Gidley
I'm here to say I did not get the treasury job. I'm sorry. I know many people were thinking that would be perfect for me, but it's not going to be. My name on the dollar bill was just too much for this country to handle. Look, if Donald Trump asks you to serve, you know, it's humbling beyond measure. It's a blessing to be in that government and try and do something that makes people's lives better, which we did in the first four years. So if he asks, I'm always willing to serve. But you want to be able to do that in the best way that makes him succeed and makes the country succeed. So as Donald Trump likes to say, we'll see what happens.
Carol Markowitz
We'll see what happens.
David Brody
Well, take the kitchen with you. Take the kitchen with you.
Hogan Gidley
That's going to be my bag. That's not even my real kitchen. Now, now it's just a screen, just a picture.
Carol Markowitz
I mean, Elon Musk did walk into Twitter with a sink. So, you know, you could do it. You could do it. All right, Hogan Gidley, thank you for being with us. Coming up.
Hogan Gidley
Thanks.
Carol Markowitz
We check out the hottest headlines from the RAB newsroom with Beau Davidson. And later, the so called International Criminal Court issues an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and gives a shot in the arm to terrorism by doing so. Oh, this is some clubbing music. You know, when I go clubbing every single night, Monday through Friday, this is what I hear. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. By the way, just in case you're wondering about the weather, it's 35 right now in Oklahoma City going up to 61. Thank you very much. I do traffic and weather on the 8th, even though it's the 15s. Welcome back to American Sunrise, everybody. I'm David Brody. Coming up, Russian President Vladimir Putin escalates his threats to Ukraine and Western nations. Putin says Moscow, oh, you know what? Can now strike military targets belonging to countries that enable Ukraine to strike Russia. Hashtag usa. It comes after Biden approved long range missiles and mines to Ukraine. And of course, Russia retaliating with the Ukrainian city of Dnipro with a new medium range ballistic missile. They got an attack. They received an attack yesterday. First, though, Bo Davidson here for T. Bates. He's standing by with the latest headlines from the Real America's Voice newsroom sponsored by amac.
Hogan Gidley
The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older.

Together we can right the course of America. As we've been reporting, the Illinois State Supreme Court overturns Jussie Smollett's conviction for lying about a hate crime. Now Smollett's team argued that a special prosecutor should not have been allowed to intervene in the case after the Cook county state attorney dropped the charges. Smollett claimed two men assaulted him and shouted racist and homophobic slurs at him and put a noose around his neck. Meanwhile, home sales rose in October for the first time in three years. Officials say that existing home sales rose nearly 3% year over year, which is the first time since July of 2021. Home prices also rose for the 16th straight month to a median price of more than $407,000. People are still battling higher than average mortgage rates due to elevated interest rates. And finally, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly leaving the United States after President elect Trump's win. The Wrap reports that DeGeneres is moving to England, and they reportedly bought the property just before the election. Several celebrities vowed to leave the country after Trump won in 2016, but they stayed. Coming up, Congresswoman Nancy Mace is standing firm in her battle to protect women's rights and privacy from men who claim to be women. We'll talk to a young woman who's also fighting back against the new war on women. And up next, the so called International Criminal Court issues an arrest warrant for Israel's democratically elected leader even as Israel fights for its life against terrorist armies. We have the full story coming up. But first, a quick look at today in history.
David Brody
From Dallas, Texas, the flash apparently official President Kennedy died at 1:00pm Central Standard.
David Zier
Time, 2:00 Eastern Standard Time, some 38 minutes ago.
Bo Davidson
It was on this day in 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald while riding in an open topped motorcade in Dallas, Texas, a sad and defining moment in American history whose implications continue to this very day. We'll have more on jfk, the assassination and his legacy later on in the show. American Sunrise returns in just two minutes.

ANNAPOLIS, MD, 59 minutes from my house. Thank you very much. I will not be giving the GPS coordinates of my house, especially if I were ever to appear on msnbc, if you know what I'm saying. Welcome Back everybody to American Sunrise. The so called International Criminal Court, which is connected to the U.N. by the way, has decided to gang up on Israel at this very vulnerable time. These people are a piece of work. As Reuters reported the story as follows. ICC issues arrest warrants for Israel's Netanyahu Gallant and Hamas leader. By the way, don't pay any attention to the Hamas leader. Part of that, that's called moral equivalency. And it's also meaningless. Let's ask threat assessment host Tara et al about all of this. Tara. I mean, this feels like the ICC doing Iran's bidding. They're giving Hamas and Hezbollah a big political shot in the arm here. I mean, they're a joke, quite frankly.
Hogan Gidley
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Good morning. It's great to be with you. And it just goes to show the ICC is completely irrelevant. But this is not the first time that we've seen the ICC go after Israel. And they've also gone after American troops that were serving in Afghanistan. That's why President TRUMP Back in 2000, when he started his first term, 2017, he put sanctions on the ICC. He sanctioned them. Well, then Biden comes in, right? And then he lifts those sanctions. But clearly the ICC needs to be sanctioned. That's just like what Senator Graham has said, as well as the new majority Leader in the Senate, John Thune. They have both said and many others that they need to be sanctioned. And ultimately, guys, it just goes to show that the UN is irrelevant. The UN has become a cesspool of anti Semitic, anti Israel haters and it's just really irrelevant. And I'd like to see a lot of the completely defunding of the U.N. especially since America is the number one funder of them.
Carol Markowitz
Tara, the situation between Russia and Ukraine has deliberately been escalated by the Biden Harris administration ever since President Trump won the election. That's spurring observers like the folks at the Federalist to write things like this. Biden is sabotaging Trump's plan to peacefully end the Russia Ukraine war. Tara, this seems like political partisanship gone completely insane, but is there any other explanation for why the Biden team keeps provoking Russia and escalating this war?
Podcast Host
I think ultimately too, we know that it's not Joe Biden. You know, his health is cognitive, is so in decline that he's walking off into the Amazon, right? We've seen him lately. So it's not Joe Biden making these decisions, which is the scary and dangerous part, because it's people that are unaccountable. No one's being held accountable for the decisions that are making right now to potentially lead us into World War Three. And you had an ex Ukrainian general, the top general come out and say that we have now entered World War Three. When you have North Korean troops fighting on the ground in Russia, you have Iranian drones, you've got the US now the Ukraine using the US missiles into Russia territory, we are heading into a very unprecedented stage that we have not been at yet in this war. But there is no accountability. And I think one thing too, that President Trump to send that strong message to draw those lines right now where they are and say these are the lines, these are the lines that will be held in negotiating where it is in Ukraine and where it is in Russia, because there is a war right now to do advancement in taking territory and that needs to stop.
Bo Davidson
Tara, let's talk about border security and the illegal immigrant crisis. The incoming border czar, Tom Homan, is trying to get ahead of these sanctuary city and sanctuary state mayors and governors who are vowing to obstruct justice. Here's how town hall reports it. They say Trump's border czar issues a warning to Dem politicians pledging to shelter illegal aliens. Tara, what kind of threats can Tom Homan and Trump team use that will work against these law breaking governors and mayors?
Podcast Host
It's already like he said, Tom Holman has said. He brought up Title 8 USC 1324, makes it a felony if you harbor illegal aliens. So these Democrats and these mayors that are threatening to block ICE from coming into their cities, Tom Homan is saying we will send you to jail because under Title 8, 1324, it's illegal and you will go to jail. And he means what he says. You know, I know Tom Homan personally. He means what he says. And he has been in this for 30 years. He has seen the sacrifice of our border patrol. He has seen the loss of migrants. When you listen to Tom Homan, he cares about migrants. Not only does he care about American citizens, number one in our law enforcement, but he cares about the loss of life. He has children of his own. And you hear him talking about the children that are being killed, the 300,000 missing children right now, but also the migrants that he has personally seen dead himself that has impacted him and where all of his passion comes from. So he means business. He's gonna get in there and he's gonna do his job. And if they stand in their way, he's already said, we'll arrest you.
Bo Davidson
And Tara, if I could just follow up on that, this caravan that's coming up right now to the southern border that's trying to sneak in before Trump gets in office. What's to be done about that?
Podcast Host
Well, Mexico doesn't seem to be stopping it. Mexico seems to be allowing it to come in. And just like the Biden administration is doing with the Ukraine and Russia, they're increasing the escalation as much as they can. Now they're loosening the restrictions as well with allowing these to use an app instead of in person check ins with ice. They now are using an app. So they are going to allow as many illegals into our country as possible. You just saw Mayorkas and Ray not show up for a Senate Homeland Security hearing yesterday. When you have all of these different threats, we're literally on the brink of a World War iii. You've got these caravans, mass illegals coming into our country that have criminals, that have terrorists, I'm sure in those caravans, child rapists within those caravans. But yet they don't even show up and they don't even talk to the American people. And so Mexico's not doing anything. But Trump has already warned we'll use tariffs and we'll economically use that to go to be able to stop the border and force the border. But it's gonna come and I'm telling you, we're in some 60 days. It's going to be very unprecedented and it's going to be, I think we're going to face some turmoil here.
David Brody
Yeah. By the way, you mentioned Tom Homan before on illegal immigration. He said just recently, just actually overnight, we learned that he says that Texas, that they'll take Texas's offer up as it relates to that land that they're promising to give to the federal government so they can have a detention center down there because they need that time to process folks out of the country. That's what he's saying. So they definitely are going to take Texas up on that. But let me ask you a little bit about that detention center. So, so eventually, let's say, you know, it's built and everything, but either way, what about actually extraditing these criminals and others that we're going to deport? We can't just deport them back to the country. Doesn't the country, many of these countries have to actually accept them back, Right. I mean, it's not like we can just say here you go, we're going to drop you off somewhere in El Salvador and that's the end of it. They've got to accept these folks back Isn't that part of the issue here or part of what could be an issue here?
Podcast Host
Yeah, absolutely. And that's why you need the detention centers and that's why the Texas ranch, that 1400 acres, is going to be very helpful. But you're going to need. Congress is going to have to pass a budget that allows for many more detention centers because like you just said, David, they can't just put them on a plane and send them back to that country. They need to hold them for a couple days to a couple weeks, then notify that country, get in touch with that country, get the permission to send them back and then get the paperwork to process that. So that takes time. And then you look at Venezuela. Well, Venezuela and other countries don't want them back. Mexico is saying we'll only take Mexican citizens back to Mexico. So you're going to have a lot of problems with where you're going to send these illegals to and what country. But that will have to all work that be worked out.
Carol Markowitz
So they can come into our country illegally, but we have to make sure we legally send them back to their own countries. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. But you know, David, to your point, don't we give all of these countries some sort of aid, buy some goods from them, something? I feel like President Trump will find a way to leverage whatever capital we have on our end to make sure that these countries fall in line and take all of their illegals back. Don't you, Tara?
Podcast Host
Yeah, absolutely. He will definitely leverage that. And then you could look at other, like, you know, other countries that are just safe countries that you could send them back to as well. But like you just said, they came in illegally, so why should we have to follow the legal process to deport them? But there'll be other countries, you've heard Rwanda, you know, come up and other nations that the European maybe countries have been talked about, the UK Talked about, they dismissed it, but other countries are looking at it. So he'll make a way to find a nation that they can send it back to or deploy or put pressure on the countries and say, you know what, we don't care what you say, we're going, going to send them back to you or we'll sanction you.
David Brody
Yeah. The art of the deal. Tara Dahl, great to have you here. By the way, Happy Thanksgiving. I will probably see you next week. But anyhow, happy Thanksgiving. Just in case.
Podcast Host
I just wanted to get Thanksgiving week next week.
David Brody
Oh, that's right. All right. My stomach is looking forward to it. Thank you so much, Tara. Appreciate it.
Podcast Host
Thanks, guys. Have a good weekend.
David Brody
You bet. Coming up, the allegations against Pete Hegsett coming from forces that don't want him to make real changes at the Pentagon. We're going to talk about that agenda and whether he or someone else will get the chance to implement it. But first, we're going to talk to a female teen patriot about what she thinks about the trans activist attack on Congresswoman Nancy Mace. The real war on women and girls is our focus. It's coming up next.

And Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen. All right. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us today. Time now for today's health news, sponsored by the Wellness Company. And I am just the person to deliver that with my awful voice today. Sorry, audience again. Anyway, under the microscope today disputing a hospital bill, study after study shows that a very high percentage of medical bills contain errors that could cost you big bucks. So how do you dispute those mistakes? Well, tip number one, get an itemized bill. Often the first bill you receive from a health care provider has just one big number showing what you owe. Ask, though instead for an itemized bill. This shows which services were provided and how they were coded. Then look for duplicate fees, charges for services you didn't receive, or other errors. Also, remember that a lot of times if they think the bill is going straight to an insurance company, it's going to be a lot higher than if they think you're private paying. Tip number two, delay before you pay. Sometimes health providers send you a bill before they've actually even filed with your insurer. And it's very difficult to get your money back once it's already in the hands of a hospital or a debt collector. So if you have debt already in collections, send a letter to the debt collector and dispute the validity of the debt, asking for documentation to verify it. Tip number three, consider posting a public complaint. Some patients report that sharing a complaint on social media or public review site like Yelp or Google reviews can be the nudge a hospital system needs to take concerns seriously. I found this to be true with airlines and even clothing manufacturers as well. So there you go. Finally though, if you don't have the time or energy to fight a big complicated bill, consider getting help from a patient advocate. Some employers offer patient advocacy services as a staff benefit and some of those advocates are often willing to take these cases to court. So there you go. But everybody knows the next medical crisis could be just around the corner. Whether it would come in the form of a pandemic or something more mundane, you want to be prepared. So that's where the Wellness Company comes in. They and their doctors are medical professionals you can trust. Their medical emergency kits are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you healthy. Healthy. Be ready for anything. This medical emergency kit has an assortment of life saving medications that'll help keep you safe. It also has a guidebook that will aid you in the safe use of the meds in the kit. The Wellness Company's medical emergency kit is exactly what you want to have on hand to be prepared. So do this. Go to TWC Health RAV today. Give it an order. That's TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV to save 10%. You don't want to leave home for the holidays without it. All right, over to the last two days we've been following Congresswoman Nancy Mace's battle to keep a man who identifies as a woman out of the ladies restroom for female members of the House of Representatives. As a survivor of sexual assault, Mace is taking this threat very personally. But what about but what means the most to young women in America? Well, that's what we want to discuss. So joining us now to talk about that, Hannah Faulkner. Hannah's a 17 year old student and the author of the new book Last Chance to Save Our Republic. Hannah, you have some thoughts about what the trans movement is doing to young women like you. I know you know, even in the movie theaters now you'll have maybe separate men and women's restrooms, but we're all washing hands in a room. And I was washing my hands last night in the, in the like sink room at a movie theater with a very scary looking individual and I thought, wow, I'm glad this is not my daughter in here washing her hands in this closed off room with this scary looking individual. This is real, isn't it?
Mary Kathryn Ham
Absolutely. And I'll say this right now. If you are confused on whether you are male or female, like Mr. Tim McBride, a congressman who identifies as Sarah, if you are confused on your identity of whether or not you're male or female, you are not qualified to lead anyone, much less an entire country. And we've got a Supreme Court justice right now, Ketanji Brown Jackson, who still to this day can't even define what a woman is. I mean, we are fighting a mental health crisis. This is mental illness at its finest. This is a spiritual war that we're in. I agree with Nancy Mace. This is a common sense issue. Men should not be in women's spaces, should not be in our locker rooms, in our sport. And to all of those calling us extreme or bigoted for fighting back against this issue, for fighting for common sense, what's actually extreme? What's actually bigoted is that you think it's okay for grown men to use the bathroom besides women to undress in front of little girls. That's what's extreme, that's what's hateful and that's what's bigoted. So I mean, this issue as a whole, I've been faced several times walking into the bathroom, seeing a grown man. My siblings and I a couple years ago were swimming at a local community. We walk into the bathroom and there is a grown man undressing in the women's locker room. This has become an a. I mean, this is the erasure of women is what we're seeing. It's disgusting. We are on the brink of World War three right now. And what are our leaders at Capitol Hill debating on? Well, whether or not a congressman should be entering into the women's bathroom. It's pathetic. This is a common sense issue we should not even be talking about, frankly.
Carol Markowitz
Gosh, I'll tell you, David, I'll let you go here, but I just seeing you, this beautiful, precious 17 year old woman with such a head on her shoulders, even having to talk about this is so degrading to our. To women. To women, but especially to our children. It just, the whole thought makes me sick. David, I'm sorry.
David Brody
Well, no, you're right, Gina. It's degrading. But it's so optimistic to have folks like Hannah out there who have not only a great head on their shoulders, but they're active, and that's the most important thing. Hannah, I'm glad you mentioned that. Sarah McBride is not Sarah McBride, it's Tim McBride. And that's important. And we need to see the visual right there. And we have it. You won't see this on MSNBC and cnn, but we've got to show this because that drives home the point that what in the world, or as we like to say, New York, what the freaking heck is going on around here? And we've got to call it out. We have. And you are doing that, by the way. Talk to us a little bit about what the. Oh, gosh, I'm gonna use an old time, old person term. The scuttlebutt, you know, is when it comes to you and your friends talking about this type of stuff like, like how much of this is like a talk about how this is just utterly ridiculous and what can be done to kind of start solving these type of problems out there.
Mary Kathryn Ham
Hannah. Well, I mean, what we saw this past couple days at Capitol Hill, I believe that's one of the reasons why women came out for President Trump more than they did in the last election for President Trump and for Joe Biden. And it's because women are fed up. I mean, they keep pushing this notion of women's rights. What about women's rights as it comes to our spaces, when it comes to protecting our privacy and our dignity? Peyton McNabb, a volleyball high school athlete, has partial paralysis because of the Democratic Party, because of the NCAA powering down to men's feelings over women's safety and dignity. I know so many young girls that were. I mean, Paula Scanlon, the teammate to William Thomas, had to watch him undress every single day as she was competing at 6 foot 4. He's a man undressing in their locker room. I mean, they were faced with this, and now this ideology is leading to young girls being raped in their school bathrooms. I mean, this is just permeating all of society. And so young girls are fed up. And that's why I believe they came out for President Trump this election. Because this is just about a common sense principle of having our spaces, our privacy, our safe spaces, as the left wants to refer to it as. And I'll say this, too. A lot of the left will say, well, what about our rights as quote, unquote, trans individuals? What about our rights? Well, what about the 95% of women that don't want to undress next to a man? What about the 95% of women that want to have privacy in their locker rooms and bathrooms? And I'll say this too, because I know a lot of people will be watching this and say, well, you just dead named William Thomas, you just dead named, you know, Mr. Tim McBride. And they'll tell me, you know, isn't that insulting to him? Don't you think that you're insulting them for saying that? Well, what I think is more insulting is that when I walk into the bathroom, I see a man undressing in front of me. What I think is more insulting is when a little girl walks into the bathroom, there she sees a grown man undressing, and in her. In her space, that's what I believe is insulting. But if we really want to solve this issue, if we really want to take back women's spaces, we're gonna have to go to the root of the issue. Because so often I see people in Congress and conservatives talk about how the feminist movement is, what is protecting women's spaces. The problem is that the feminist movement is the reason why we have men in our spaces today. In the 70s and 80s, they were pushing this notion that there's no difference between male and female. It's just a social construct. So if there's no difference between men and women, then why does it matter that they're in our spaces today? So we've got to go to the problem, and that's the feminist movement.
David Brody

Coming up, what's the proper response to the fact the Americans of faith played such a big role in President Trump's election victory? We're going to explore some options, but first we'll look at just what next needs to be reformed at the Pentagon and what Pete Hegseth has long called for when it comes to those changes. We'll be right back.

Bo Davidson
Welcome back to American Sunrise on this beautiful Friday morning. It's time now to stay awake, not woke. And helping us to do that this morning is the host of Breaking Point here on rav, David Zier. David, thank for you. Thank you for being with us.
David Zier
Hey, Bo, Good morning. How are you?
Bo Davidson
I'm great. It's 55 degrees in palm Beach. Little chilly. Well, David, you know, we know that Pete Hegseth is under fire right now as President Trump's choice for defense secretary. But we also know that if he got the job, there's a clear challenge he wants to take on. As this editorial in the Telegram puts it, the woke left's takeover of the US Military is a real and present danger. So, David, what do you think are the most galling and dangerous examples of the woke military under the Biden Harris regime?
David Zier
Okay, well, there's so many things that bother me about it, but social imperatives should not include transgender surgeries. And as Newsweek said, even Newsweek, you know, army officials released a memo saying gender transition makes a troop non deployable for almost a year. We have readiness concerns. Our recruitment levels are down. Like Huckabee is saying, it's a disaster. And such a concession to ideology is absurd. The military should not be in the business beau of accommodating social ideology in place of deployability. That's the most egregious thing, I think Haig says first order of business should be get rid of woke top brass and dismantle the DEI office. And even guys like Mike Waltz have been calling for this, the military to get back to the basics.
Bo Davidson
Well, David, that's 100% true. You know, I know a lot of people think that President Trump's victory has spelled the end of the woke movement, but the traditional religious magazine First Things warns otherwise. This new article makes it clear that, quote, woke ideology is not dead and buried. You know, David, what are some of the old and new challenges that we can expect from the woke world now, even as President Trump takes office in January?
David Zier
They're going to double down. They are going to double down on their rhetoric, and it's going to be a roller coaster ride for the next four years. But there's a stopgap. There's a plug in the dike refer now, and we can make those changes internally that may be lasting for some time. And I think that Pete Hegseth is a guy who can do that. You know, with potential war on the horizon, we can't be distracted with this. And the recruitment levels have taken, you know, massive hits. And shame on the New York Times for the misrepresentation of Hegseth. I just wanted to add one thing, Bo. I spent a lot of time around Hegseth at the rallies. He got out in the crowd, he demanded on the streets like our crews do. And he's a man of the people. He definitely is. I interviewed him when his first book came, and he is a small unit type mentality. Maybe it'll be great to get in front of the brass that needs to be, you know, maybe rotated out.
Bo Davidson
I mean, clearly he's got the right aptitude for it. But I gotta ask, David, what are the chances you think he gets confirmed? Because we've seen the attention shift now from Matt Gaetz, who was obviously, I guess, a liability for the president. That's why he stepped back to Now, Hegseth, who faces, I want to say, similar accusations because he's saying he was cleared of it, but it seems like it could dog him in this process. What do you think his chances are actually to get confirmed?
David Zier
I think they're good. Two bronze stars. This guy is an American hero. He is American apple pie. Now, that may not be suitable for half of America, right, because they're not as patriotic as they used to be or 40% or whatever the number is. But I believe he will get through. And if they turn down a guy like him, you know, a civilian running the Defense Department with military experience without being up there in the Title 10 community forever, you know, spending trillions of dollars on ghost projects, and stuff. Listen, he may be the guy for the job. I think his chances are gonna be, well, good.
Bo Davidson
Well, David, just 30 seconds left before we let you go. What's going on on Breaking Point this weekend?
David Zier
Oh, I got so much. I got Jay Bieber from the National Motorist association about congestion pricing, Big Brother control over your automobile. I got Frank, let's say about Trump's energy policy, what we have to look forward to as far as petroleum and fossil fuel production going Forward out of A.J. rice from the White Privilege album. He's the CEO of Publish PR. It's a riot. You gotta go get that book today. And I'll be on Media Exposed on Sunday night with Adam Weiss, 6pm and I wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. And the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I'll be airing some interviews from the war room and national Pulses Rebels, Rogues and outlaws party in Washington. It was epic. I got great interviews out there with so many great people. Raheem Kassam, Congressman Abe Hamade just got elected. Dave Bossi.
Bo Davidson
Yeah, Dave, it sounds like you've got an amazing lineup coming up. Well, David, happy early Thanksgiving to you. You're such a wealth of information. Thank you so much, David.
David Zier
Great. Have a great one.
Bo Davidson
You too. Well, coming up, our moment of faith. Religious American voters played a big role in bringing President Trump back to office. But what does that mean for policy? We'll explore some answers when we come back. Stay with us.

In the beginning. I want that voice. I covet. Oh, I shouldn't covet. Probably not a good idea. I'll check my Bible. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. Time now for our moment of faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. So in focus today, the crucial role Christians played in getting President Trump back into office. Joining us now to talk about it is Chemain Nugent, the host of the Faith and Freedom show here on Rav Shemaine. Great to see you, but I gotta tell you, before we get to that, please, I do not want to bury the lead. So let's tell everyone about your new book because, my goodness, we've got to do that. Of course. It's called Abundantly well, Bible Based Wisdom for Weight Loss. Oh, hello. You got me at weight loss, increased energy and vibrant health. Chemain, by the way, congratulations on the book and tell us about it. Good morning to you on this Friday.
Mary Kathryn Ham
Well, thank you. Good morning to you, too. I wanted to do a book that really represents what a lot of Americans are struggling with right now. 70% of us are overweight. And I've struggled with my weight all of my life, but I'm going to share all of my tips and tricks with you. I'm not giving up my favorite foods to a certain extent, and I'm going to share those swaps, food swaps that you can do. And I've been in the fitness industry for 44 years, but who's counting, you know, just a few years and I've learned a thing or two. I got sick and almost died from toxic mold. And when you don't have your health, David, you can't continue to do God's good work. So that's why I wrote this book. It is available for presale right now on Amazon.
David Brody
Oh, please, go get this book. Right away, everybody. Hey, I want to ask you a political question, but it's really a faith question. Take a look at a headline from FoxNews.com it says, Bible believing Christians were key to Trump's victory. Says Americans faith leader and many others, by the way. So, Chemain, I'm sure you agree with that. The exit polls show that more evangelical Christians voted for Trump this time around than in 2016 or 2020. And of course, we know that they propelled them to victory in 2016, but it was even better this time. So what do you make of that? And obviously it seems to me that this is going to have to come into play in terms of policy as well. They're voting not. They're voting not so much for Donald Trump specifically, but what he can do and the Judeo Christian principles he stands for.
Mary Kathryn Ham
Well, you know, people are waking up and they're ready to reclaim what matters to them most, faith, family, freedom and the future of this country. And you know, it's not just hope. People took action. And let me tell you, when Americans stand together with that kind of conviction, there is nothing that we can accomplish. But here was the problem, Bible believing Christians and hunters, the backbone of values like God, family and country. They've been sitting out elections for years. In fact, 50% of them. Why? Well, they're disillusioned. They don't trust the government and there's a sense that their vote just didn't matter. But with the 2020 election and the Biden Harris woke DEI agenda and wasteful spending, they got fed up. So this time they showed up at the polls. And you know, when people of faith and conviction rise up, there is no force on earth that can stop them. Because this isn't just political, David. It's a spiritual war of good versus evil. And it's time to pick a side.
David Brody
Jermaine Nugent, great to have you. By the way. Our audience continues to grow in case people, our audience loves you. But those that are new to the program, where do they see you on all of the handle stuff, the social media stuff stuff, you know, that.
Mary Kathryn Ham
