A
The American dream is still alive.
B
I'm David Brody.
C
I'm terrence.
A
And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning, Everybody. I am Dr. Gina. We are live with you from West Palm Beach. Let's bring in David brody in Washington, D.C. and Terrance Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, guys. I said this, but be very careful. Do not Download the new iOS system to your iPhone, Terrence. It doesn't apply to you unless you have about three hours and a day that you don't need in your life because it takes forever, for one thing. And then once you do it, nothing works the way you thought it works. You can't. Last night I was supposed to be working on the show. I didn't have a phone. No phone. Yeah, for hours. So, yeah, that really happened. So be very careful. I would download it in the middle of the night if that's what you're gonna do when know you won't need your phone anyway. Carrying on.
B
Good to know. Good morning, by the way.
A
Good morning. I'm still a little hot about this. If you can't tell Terrence, I'm glad.
C
You clarified because you mentioned it just a little while ago and I heard irs, and I was like, definitely, like, I haven't even got my tax return yet, Dr. G. But okay. Even though I probably would be hesitant to download that as well since you're in Florida. Dr. Gina, wanna bring your attention to this headline from Fox 13 down there. It reads, governor Desant, Representative Anna Paul Luna pushed to set term limits and insider trading among Congress. I want to focus on the term limits part of that because you've talked in detail about term limits in your stance. So when you See this sort of headline. What immediately comes to your mind, Dr. Gina?
A
Well, I know that Congresswoman Anna Paulina Lumina is well intentioned here. I can absolutely know that because I campaigned for her, helped raise money for her, and she's an outstanding, very qualified congressperson. But here's the thing. People don't realize until you've seen term limits work that it's a little bit like, do you remember when you were in social studies and your Commie teacher in 8th grade or whatever was teaching you how great communism is? And you're like, wow, that sounds so good. So everybody just earns a little, and you all put it toward the greater good, and then everybody gets better. Back a little bit. Nobody's. There's no rich people, there's no poor people. How great does that sound? A little like term limits. It just doesn't work that way. You're voting away your own vote. And as I always try to say, power doesn't go away. It goes to the lobbyists and the staffers who have institutional knowledge. They weaponize against the person that you elected, David Brody.
B
I think you make an articulate argument. You know, I'm against what you're saying in terms of like a debate, but.
C
Sorry, but having said that.
B
But I think you make a very articulate argument for term limits, if you will. Now, having said that, just real quick, I'll be brief, but the way this is gonna change, let's be honest, Congress is not gonna do this, okay? So the way it's gonna have to work is a convention of states, and that's in Article 5 of the Constitution, which means two thirds of state legislatures need to pass this idea of having a convention of states. And once you go there, then you can get term limits potentially as a constitutional amendment. Right. Of 34 states have actually agreed to a constitutional convention under Article 5 of the Constitution. They only need six more. And then we can talk about potentially ratifying a term limits constitutional amendment, which Gina will not like. T. Bates.
C
Well, Dr. Gina and David, you both made articulate arguments. You lost me at articulate arguments, though I didn't really listen much more beyond that. So thanks to both of you, I.
A
Think I threw you off this morning when you thought I said irs. You're like, wait, I'm not being audited.
B
Oh, yeah, the Android guy was lost at iOS. The Android guy was.
C
Nicely played, David. Nicely played. All right, Dr. Gina, would you give us our Bible verse for the day, please?
A
I would love to. Samuel 16, verse 7. But the Lord said to Samuel do not look at his appearance or his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. You know, we need to do more of that. Looking at the heart, I think it's so, so important. I think there are a lot of people, good and bad. Some judge just because they look good on the outside, but their hearts are really rotten and vice versa. Looking more at the heart, I'm trying to see people from the view of the Holy Spirit. House Republicans say they will move to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress after he skipped a deposition in their investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton and Hillary say. Bill and Hillary say that subpoenas were invalid and they deny any wrongdoing. The committee chair says the subpoenas were legal. And a contempt vote is expected next week. Let's now bring in South Carolina Congresswoman Sherry Biggs. Congresswoman, I'll serve this first question straight up, no chaser. Will you vote to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress? Well, good morning and I certainly will vote. I think no one should be above the law and especially the Clinton's. No question about it. How I'll vote.
B
Yeah. Congresswoman, let me move on to President Trump for a moment. He touted the economy. I say for a moment. Well, maybe the rest of the segment. Actually, President Trump touted the economy during his speech in Michigan yesterday. And then he had the special message for sanctuary city officials. Take a look.
C
Additionally, starting February 1st, we're not making any payments to sanctuary cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American citizens. And it breeds fraud and crime and all of the other problems that come. So we're not making any payment to anybody that supports sanctuary service.
B
Well, I'm curious to get your reaction because Trump ain't playing.
A
I think President Trump has done everything that he promised throughout his campaign and before, and I'm excited that he has this vision. And I think the people in the 3rd district of South Carolina that I represent, this is what they expect. They want the tax dollars used for the American people and they want us to be cautious and conservative. They don't want us to be wasteful and definitely using it for fraud and individuals that aren't even American citizens. That's a no brainer.
C
Congresswoman, President Trump posted a truth social yesterday in which he wrote mega M I G A which many, of course, interpret as make Iran great again before we can make Iran great again. How do we at least fund our current government. Those appropriation bills that are working their way through Congress only have about two weeks, if you will, to get passed before there's the possibility of another government shutdown. Before we focus on Iran, I'd like to get your perspective or if you'll update us on what's happening with those appropriation bills and whether we'll be facing another government shutdown in a couple of weeks or if this will all ultimately work out.
A
Well, I know I do not want another government shutdown and I don't think the Republican Party does. You know that that shutdown belongs to the Democrats and no one won at the end. So we are talking, we are having those conversations. And the plan in the Republican Party is to continue to make conservative cuts, to make sure that we take care of the most crucial needs and move forward from that. But we have to stop this wasteful spending. We can't continue on this track.
C
So, Congresswoman, what's the actual plan? Conversations are one thing. Action is completely different. And we're down to the wire now. Two weeks really isn't a lot of time to act.
A
Right. Well, we're having those committee meetings, those discussions and sitting down and the markups and we're making sure that when we come to the table for the vote that we're all on the same page. Here's the thing, just from the guy on the street, and I know you know this because you're very in touch with your district and you get back home every chance you can to listen to them. But, but the man on the street is just saying what happened to Doge? What happened to the cuts? What happened to a balanced budget? What happened to obliterate the Fed? What happened to all those things? Cuz none of that, Congresswoman, is really even up for debate at this point and we have Republicans in every branch, so how do we get there? Well, those discussions are still taking place and it is a priority. But right now we're just taking it one step at a time. We didn't get this way overnight and it's going to take a little time. And the American people just have to put individuals in those positions to make good decisions. Know who you're voting for, number one, and get out and vote.
B
We have 30 seconds or so. Let's jump ahead to the midterms. Are Republicans in trouble?
A
I don't think so. I think the American citizens are clear about what they expect and I think they can see how we work really hard to bring the cost of living down to take care of our workers, to take care of our families and to bring conservative values back into play. All right. Well, she's going to correct me if I say it wrong, but Congresswoman Sherry Biggs from South Carolina got to kind of get it.
B
Go Tigers.
D
Nice.
C
I like it.
A
Go sec. Anyway, right. Thank you so much for being here, Congresswoman. We appreciate your time.
C
Thanks.

The death toll in Iran has now surpassed 2,500 people following weeks of protests. In the meantime, governments across the Middle east are discouraging the Trump administration from getting into a war with Iran, fearing, quote, unprecedented consequences. Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have been in what's being described as constant contact with the Trump administration over the potential of US Strikes in Iran. They believe such attacks could spark a full blown war. President Trump, what say ye? They've got to show humanity they've got a big problem and I hope they're not going to be killing people. And I'm going to have a report very soon. It would seem to me that they have been badly misbehaving and for now, the US Is slapping any country that does business with Iran with tariffs on the ground in the Islamic Republic. Iranian court are signaling fast trials and executions of detained protesters. Some of the detainees are set to be hanged potentially as soon as today. Back here in the United states. Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary are facing the prospect of being held in contempt of Congress. That's the word from the GOP led House Oversight Committee after the former first couple failed to appear for a deposition related to the committee Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The former president was scheduled to appear and testify Tuesday. The former secretary of state scheduled to be deposed today. Committee chair James Comer says the Clintons sent a letter saying they will not be appearing because they believe Comer subpoenas are, quote, legally invalid. The Clintons even appear to be daring Comer and his committee to hold them in contempt, writing and this is a quote, we expect you will direct your committee to seek to hold us in contempt. You will say it is not our decision to make, but we have made it. How you now, excuse me, you have to make yours. A vote on contempt charges against the Clintons is expected to happen next week. And a fairly quiet public schedule is on tap at the White House today as the president is set to participate in a signing ceremony this afternoon. Afternoon Tuesday, the commander in chief spent the day in Detroit, though, touring a Ford plant and later addressing the Detroit Economic Club. His remarks spanned the gamut from business to current political challenges, including the administration's continued crackdown on illegal immigrants in cities and states that seek to protect them starting February 1st. We're not making any payments to sanctuary cities. We're states having sanctuary cities because they do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American citizens. And it breeds fraud and crime and all of the other problems that come. So we're not making any payment to anybody that supports sanctuary cities. We'll have more from the president's trip to Detroit throughout the show. First, though, let's get a quick check of your forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Britney Lockley. Also, we're going to put up a QR code here at the bottom of your screen that will let you know exactly how you can join our friends over at Weather Nation and how you can have constant contact with Brittany as well. Brittany, good morning to you. I'm glad I'm not on the East Coast. Way too cold for my blood.
A
Way too cold. And we're talking about cold temperatures dipping down into Florida. Terrence, can you believe it? We're going to be waking up into the 30s, even the 40s as you head into tomorrow morning. And how about we're seeing still staying warm over the western half of the country. We're talking about temperatures in the 60s and the 50s. We have a big cold front that's sweeping through the nation today bringing us some winter weather up towards the north, but also some heavy rainfall down towards the south and also the mid south as well. Nashville, Charleston, as you're waking up early this morning now, we're going to see the snowfall totals really pile up across the area. We're talking about one to three inches of snowfall. But when we get into that lake effect snow headed in over the weekend, we'll start to see those totals get up to a foot. Now here's a look at the chilly temperatures of what you're watching out for for today. Minneapolis 20 degrees, Chicago 32. How about Atlanta sitting at 53, 79 in Miami and Denver, what is this winter, 56 degrees. We have record breaking temperatures on tap now through tomorrow across the western half of the country due to that high pressure. But I'm going to move out the way so you can see the chilly temperatures that will be rolling on through Atlanta. High temperatures for tomorrow, 37 degrees while Chicago sits at 27. Chicago 37 on Friday. Atlanta 50 degrees, New York 35. Denver sitting at 48 finally trying to cool off just a little bit. We'll have your hometown forecast coming up next.
C
All right, Brittany, we'll check in with you next hour for that hometown forecast. And once again there at the bottom of your screen, folks, you see the QR code. Go ahead and scan it and join our friends over at Weather Nation. Up next, President Trump says he has canceled all talks with Iranian officials that protests in that country continue and potential hangings of demonstrators are set to begin as soon as today could drive the body count in that country even higher. So what kind of action could the president be contemplating? We'll talk about it. First though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this date in 1973 that the Miami Dolphins completed the only perfect season in NFL history. They won Super Bowl 7147 over the Washington Redskins. The Dolphins went on to a 170 record, becoming the first and still only team to finish a championship season undefeated and untied with backup quarterback Earl Morale stepping in after Bob Griese's injury. Miami survived tight games all season long and stars like Larry Zonka and Mercury Morris led a dominant off offense. This unmatched feat remains one of the greatest achievements in pro football history. More American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes.
B
I see snow flurries. That's Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I just checked the temperature, 24 degrees right now. At what time is it in Milwaukee? Let's look at that. That'd be 7:23am Central Standard Time. It's 8:23am Here on the East Coast. Welcome back, folks, to American Sunrise. All right, President Trump urging the Iranian people to keep protesting and that help is on the way. Here is what Trump said in Michigan. Take a look.
C
To all Iranian patriots, keep protesting, take over your institutions if possible, and save the name of the killers and the abusers that are abusing you. You're being very badly abused if the numbers are right. Now, I hear five different sets of numbers. I hear numbers, look, one death is too much, but I hear much lower numbers. And then I hear much higher numbers. But I say save their names because they'll pay a very big price. Then I've canceled all meetings with the Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters stops. And all I say to them is help is on its way. You saw that. I put tariffs on anybody doing business with Iran. Just went into effect today. And I say, make Iran great again. You know, it was a great country until these monsters came in and took it over.
B
All right, for more, let's bring in retired Navy captain GOP strategist Armin Kurdian. Armen, thanks for being here. You know, I'm curious what you think is going to happen in Iran in the next 24 to 48 hours. We're seeing reports now of some are saying 2,000 protesters killed, some are saying 12,000 protesters killed. We're hearing about potential hangings starting today. It's hard to really get a good sense of what's happening because of the Internet. And I know Starlink is trying to help with Elon Musk and all that. So also, I want you to please respond to the president saying, make Iran great again. I literally keeled over and took extra strength tums when I heard that. I mean, maga. MAGA cannot be happy, Armin, with that. Let's just keep it real here.
E
Good morning, David, Terrence, and Dr. Gina. My biggest concern with those come, first of all, you know, our hearts go out with the people of Iran who had to live under this religious theocracy for decades, suffering. The economy is terrible. You know, they're being brutalized. You know, this, this is just on steroids what's been happening over the last 40 years, this absolute question of dissent. But what struck me from his comments was saying when he says, take over your institutions. Look, Trump has done a lot of great things, but he's boxing himself into a little bit of a corner here. You're not simply going to be able to overthrow the Iranian regime and do it easily. That Religion has metastasized throughout the entire country. And for him to take over institutions, you know, more protesters are probably going to get killed, there's maybe going to be a little bit more violence. And so what's he going to do now if he doesn't want to have a diplomatic negotiation with Iran? He's putting himself to a situation where he may have to do military strikes, which may or may not have that.
B
But he's going to, you take out.
E
The supreme leader, there's, you know, 50, 70, 100 other grand ayatollahs who could take his place. You have the IRGC that's already, you know, controlling the country, 140,000 troops carrying out the will of the religious council. So he needs to be a lot more measured with what he's saying to Iran because he's basically cutting off his own options right now.
B
Yeah, but Armin, why? Because he's gonna strike Iran. Let's not, let's. I mean, we know what's going on. I mean, we've seen this script before. He talks it up and then he pretty much delivers. And he's gonna do that cuz the Iranian regime's not gonna back down. And this thing is, you know, has left the, what's the word I'm trying to think of the expression?
A
Train. Has left the station.
B
Train. Thank you. Than has left the station. He's going to do this, Armen, so that you say he has to be careful, but he knows what he's going to, he knows, he knows what he's going to do.
E
Well, if you go after the military targets, is that really going to make a difference? You know, when he went after Solomon, he went after leadership that had serious impact. You know, obviously say, oh look, well this guy actually means business. But doing some military strikes, remember, if you start striking a lot of the military targets, you're going to be killing a lot of Iranian soldiers. And is that going to, you know, turn people against them? I know it seems like, you know, you're saying one thing and I'm saying, but the fact of the matter is I don't know that military strikes in that conventional sense are going to make any difference or any change. And if he does that, is he going to reignite the war, have Iran start striking Israel again? So it's a much more complex issue at this point. I would love to see the Iranian government toppled. I would love to see a free Iranian government. I would love to see more democracy, more economic freedom in that country. But it's got it. If you're going to go down this road and you start attacking Iran militarily and you don't do it the right way, it could actually backfire and actually make things worse. That's my biggest concern at this point.
A
Amin, I want to ask you about the Muslim Brotherhood. The Trump administration is now designated three branches of the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations, targeting groups in Lebanon, Georgia and Egypt. The State Department labeled the. What did I say?
B
Oh, Georgia. That's okay.
A
Oh, Jordan. Jordan. Sorry, I know you meant Jordan. Can't read. Today, the State Department labeled the Lebanese branch a foreign terrorist organization, while the Treasury Department sanctioned the Jordanian and Egyptian chapters as global terrorists for alleged support of Hamas. Now this, Armen, comes after Trump signed an executive order last November directing the State and Treasury Department to start this designation process. What does this mean for the region and how does it impact the little bit precarious situation around the world for President Trump?
E
Muslim Brotherhood is a completely different animal and this is 100% positive thing. The Jordanian government banned Muslim Brotherhood. In fact, they had a serious crackdown. A lot of the organizations that the Brotherhood has spawned in the last year, remember, the Muslim Brotherhood has spawned terrorist organizations all over the world. Al Qaeda Islamia in Lebanon. So by bringing this kind of executive order to bear and then working with foreign governments to try to strangle them and take away their money, find those connections between Muslim Brotherhood and these so called Muslim charities, which on the surface say they're just there to help Muslims around the world. Funneling money to a lot of these terrorist organizations is absolutely the right move and is necessary. And working with other governments in the Middle east who are no fans of the Muslim Brotherhood either. Remember, the Egyptian military overthrew Amorsi, who was a Muslim Brotherhood president back in 2013, because of what his government was doing. This is the right move and I hope it's very successful.
C
Armin, I do want to continue the conversation about Iran, but I also need to move on to Greenland. Denmark and Greenland are pushing back against President Trump's interest in the Arctic Island. Their foreign ministers are actually going to be meeting with. Some are going to be meeting, excuse me, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President J.D. vance. Those talks coming after President Trump renewed calls to acquire Greenland, pretty much saying at all costs. He cited security and strategic needs. How do you think this is ultimately going to work out? Will Greenland be the 51st state or a protectorate or in some way under US control within, let's say, let's just say within the Trump administration. By the end of the Trump administration.
E
My desire to see a stronger strategic partnership with Denmark and Greenland with NATO and a stronger US Military presence with development and investment in that, you know, in that protectorate. Greenland is a little bit of an interesting location because, you know, it's a lot of the northern area is frozen big part of the year. There's, it's kind of hard to find really good deep water ports. But at the same time, additional US Investment, additional US Military presence in cooperation with Danish military presence. I served alongside Danish military when I was at Centcom 20 years ago. Great officers, Very, very proud. They're very good to work with. So I'm hopeful that we'll be able to do this, perhaps even some economic investment. As you know, Greenland is very rich in rare earth minerals and other things which the United States really needs and the rest of the Western economies need. So I want to see some positive movement here. We don't need to take over Greenland militarily. It doesn't need to be 51st state. You know, it's like you don't have to own everything, but you control and be a part of everything. And that's what really matters.
B
Yeah. All right. Armin Kurtin, great to have you on the show. Thanks so much.
C
Thanks, Armin.
E
Thanks, David. Have a great day, everyone.
A
Thank you. You, too.
E
All right.
B
You, too. Coming up, from salsa to pizza sauce, they have one common ingredient, tomatoes. How can tomatoes protect you from gum disease? Well, that's a line that you won't hear anywhere else. You'll hear it here and we'll have information in a moment.
A
See if they don't start playing some country music because I was in Dallas this weekend. You're looking at it right now. The country music stations and bars there are phenomenal. Can't get enough. Even cava shops with no alcohol in Texas play country music. And we can't even get a little country country music on this show. Sad state. Welcome Back to American Sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. Time now for today's health news, sponsored by the wellness company under the microscope today, could tomatoes help your gum health? Well, a new study suggests that what you eat may affect your gum health. Researchers say older adults who get enough lycopene, that's the nutrient found in tomatoes that makes them red. Also, other fruits, much less likely to develop severe gum disease if you eat them. The study looked at more than 1200Americans between the ages of 65 and 79. Nearly half had some form of gum disease and most were low in lycopene so there you go. Experts say more research is needed, but adding tomatoes to your diet could help support better oral health. You can do that in the form of tomato sauce, hot sauce if you like it. Lycopene also linked to prostate health. I've known this for years. For all you men out there, here's what my husband does. He's a total carnivore all the time, Paleo all the time. But he does when they offer him potatoes on the side or french fries on the side or coleslaw, those kinds of things. He says, may I have some cooked tomatoes instead. Keeps his lycopene up. There you go. There you have it. New administration in Washington D.C. brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality, though, there's only so much government can do. And if you really want to make America healthy again, it's going to start at home with each of us. And that is where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time on this network and you know that their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy. The wellness company gives you the opportunity to make sure you're prepared for whatever happens in your life with the series of medical prescription kits. These kits have an assortment of life saving medications and also guidebooks to assist in the proper use of these medications meds. Also, the Wellness Company offers a variety of products from parasite cleanses to methylene blue. Weight loss. So much more. Help you stay healthy. Help you stay out of that er. Wait in those long lines. You don't have to do it anymore. Live a longer and more satisfying life. Make America healthy again. Starts at home. Do your part. Protect the health of yourself and your family. Go to TWC Health RAV today. Give it an order. That's TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAP. That'll save you 10%. David Brody, DBRO. Do you eat your tomatoes? Do you get your lycopene D, bro.
B
I don't know. I'm not monitoring that on a daily basis.
D
You should be.
A
Yeah, it's important for men, especially prostate.
B
Well, okay, yeah, I'm gonna go in the TMI situation, so I won't go there. All right. Gosh, this show is always off the rails, which I kind of like now to the halls of Congress where they have work to do to avert yet another government shutdown at the end of the month. Are we a broken record? It's like government shutdown at the end of the month. We say that every six months, the House has passed six of the 12 necessary funding bills for this fiscal year. They're on track to pass the rest of the two larger measures in the next couple weeks. Good for them. But now the Hill is reporting that it actually could be in jeopardy after the ICE shooting in Minneapolis because the House Democrats are saying that, well, we want more safeguards in place when it comes to ice, really. Let's now bring in Missouri Congressman Bob Onder. Congressman, what do you think? I mean, are we looking at another government shutdown by the end of the month? Because these Democrats, as we like to say New York, they're a piece of work.
D
Well, good morning, David. It's great to be back. And Dr. G. I just make sure to put ketchup on my French fries. That's how I get my life.
A
But you got the sugar in the ketchup, Dr. Oh, it's terrible for you.
D
Just kidding. You know, David, it is extremely disappointing. Remember, not long ago, the Democrats told us that they wanted to enforce immigration law to secure our borders. Just give us amnesty for a few million illegal aliens and we'll work with you. So their war on ICE in particular, and law enforcement in general now is very disappointing. The idea then that they're going to hold the American people hostage again to another Democrat shutdown because they want to defund ICE is appalling. But it looks like that's their angle now. I hope it's not the case. There are some Senate Democrats who are appropriators, who are a little more cautious in what they're saying. But, but you never know with today's Democrat Party.
A
You know, David Brody brought up off the rails, as this show often is. So I'm just gonna, I'm gonna go there. Trains left the station again this morning, David Brody, because Dr. Onder, who is Congressman now, is a congressman from Missouri, served with my husband. He was actually on the other side when my husband freed the midwives. As I talk a lot about on this show, he was there and he witnessed. He's a doctor, so he was on the side of the AMA back in the day. I'm sure he's evolutionized and revolutionized and all those things since then because he's a proper conservative in his heart. And I always knew it. I always knew it, Congressman. But let me say this. As you've watched Maha sort of get her bearings, if you will. How can we properly codify. Where do you stand now with the ama? What they did to my husband was horrendous. It made them my public enemy number one from that day. I fought for Maha and Maga because of what we went through then. But I'd love to hear your story about what you've learned and how you've come into your own medically, especially since you are a medical doctor.
D
Hey, Gina. Yeah, that. Yeah. Well, first of all, I've never been a member of the ama. The AMA is awful. They've been woke ever since I was in med school many years ago. But yes, I am really enthused about Maja and what I've always said about Maja and RFK Jr. Even before we have talked about Maha, is he's asking questions. Do we really need to vaccinate babies to dozens of things? You know, I was vaccinated to hepatitis B in my first week in med school when I was in my 20s because that's when I was going to be exposed to blood products and I might be susceptible to Hep B. You know, Covid. COVID vaccine doesn't seem to be of any use to anyone, but, you know, starting joking about tomatoes, you know, look, much of our health has to do with our own personal health habits. Eating right, getting adequate exercise, getting enough sleep and the, you know, pharmacy industrial complex doesn't make us healthy. It's our own health habits that make us healthy. But at the end of the day, government needs to get out of the way and let us make our own healthcare decisions.
A
How scary is it that we actually have to codify government getting out of our way so that we can make our own health care decisions. Congressman, we're going to count on you to take lead to codify a lot of this Maha stuff so that it doesn't get reversed in the next administration.
D
Amen.
A
God forbid.
B
Thanks for being here.
A
Thanks, Congressman. All right. The Powell prosecution, the Justice Department served the Federal Reserve and its chairman over claims of cost for renovations. How is Powell responding? We have his comments right here, next on American Sunrise.
F
Welcome back. Coffee pods are easy, but most of them are just caffeine and nothing else. Rejuvenate pods are built differently. They're clean pods infused with caakg, a compound linked to longevity, metabolism and deep cellular energy. It's the easiest way to get better focus, smoother energy and long term benefits without changing your routine. I choose them because they match the lifestyle. I want more energy, more clarity and more intention in how I start my day. If you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually supports the life you're building. Head to 1775 Coffee.com Rav and try rejuvenate pods today. Don't just drink coffee, rejuvenate. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it's time to stay awake, not woke. And who is woke today? New York Congressman Dan Goldman. Goldman is claiming President Trump is abusing his power to investigate Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. Powell for not cutting interest rates. Goldman posted on X saying, quote, donald Trump continues to abuse his office by using our criminal justice system as a political cudgel. This time in an effort to extort Fed Chair Powell to cut interest rates for his political benefit. Will any House Republicans join Senator Thom Tillis in standing up for the rule of law? The Justice Department served the Federal Reserve with subpoenas regarding Chairman Powell's testimony over the Fed's building renovations. Powell also responded. Take a look.
B
The threat of criminal charges is a consequence of the Federal Reserve setting interest.
D
Rates based on our best assessment of.
B
What will serve the public, rather than following the preferences of the President. This is about whether the Fed will.
D
Be able to continue to set interest.
B
Rates based on evidence and economic conditions, or whether instead monetary policy will be directed by political pressure or intimidation. I have served at the Federal Reserve under four administrations, Republicans and Democrats alike. In every case, I have carried out my duties without political fear or favor, focused solely on our mandate of price stability and maximum employment. Public service sometimes requires standing firm in the face of threats. I will continue to do the job the Senate confirmed me to do.
F
Let's bring in Terrence, Dr. Gina and David. Terrence, wanna go to you first on this one. The President is kind of distancing himself, saying that he had nothing to do with these subpoenas. But it looks like Powell had a pretty, pretty stern response there.
D
Yeah.
C
And of course, Powell is gonna say, yeah, this is all on President Trump. Here's the thing. We can guess about what motivated the subpoenas, but what we do know is that this is about a two and a half billion dollar project. We do know that the project itself has increased, that the amount that it's going to pay to fund this project has increased pretty steadily. Jerome Powell claims that he's kept Congress abreast all the way through. He says that there were reports that have been filed detailing why the costs are going up. He says that he's been honest and that he's been transparent with Congress about this the entire way. So investigate. Because I think most Americans see the $2.5 billion price tag and it gives us pause. So investigate. And if, in fact, Jerome Powell has Done everything that he says he has. And if he's been above board, then there's nothing to worry about. If not, well, you're gonna f. A f. Oh.
B
Whoa. Hello? Yes, I hear you. Okay, sorry, that jarred me, but I'm smiling. Okay, so a couple things. He's not indicted. He hasn't been indicted. These are subpoenas. So everybody kind of slow their roll, as they said in 1996 or whenever they said that. So that's number one. And number two, I don't believe Trump really knew at all what was going on with Jeanine Pirro's investigation here. As a matter of fact, there's reporting, fresh reporting out this morning by a couple of reliable outlets saying that actually, the White House is pretty frustrated. Jeanine Pirro, for kind of going forward with these subpoenas right now. Because guess what? This just in. As we've been saying, Jerome Powell is, air quote, dead man walking. I mean, he's gone in May, so just let it just all go away, and you're gonna have your new Fed chairman in. And There you go, Dr. G. Yeah.
A
All interesting points. I tell you, this is gonna sound terrible. I mean, really. It's gonna sound really cynical and terrible. But I like this topic, and I'll tell you why. Because it gets President Trump to be President Trump in, like, flying colors or whatever the term is. I just feel like he becomes his most authentic self when he talks about Powell. And it's amusing to me, like, you know, it doesn't matter what they put in his prompter. It doesn't matter what they tell him to say. When he goes out on stage, someone brings up Powell, and you've got Trump, period. Pure, authentic, raw Trump. A little bit like yesterday. And I know we're going to talk about that a little bit more later at the Economic forum when he's walking in and some heckler came up to him. Sometimes I'm just very amused by President Trump and his complete lack of being as fake and artificial as most presidents.
B
Have always been speaking about being amused. I'm always amused when I always think of. I see Jerome Powell, and I always think of him in the hard hat next to Trump. Oh, yeah, that shot.
A
Oh, that was.
B
So there it is. That's how I think of Jerome Powell.
A
And then President Trump's like, but you've.
C
Got to take his facial expressions. When President Trump is like, this project goes bad. You're a terrible builder. And his facial expressions, it's like, I want to say something, but I know I can't it's not.
A
There are times when you can see President Trump and it's like the things he's thinking go across his forehead like a ticker and you can read them. Do you know what I mean? And that was one of those classic moments. I think that's why I love this story. So I sort of hope to breathe life into it, even though it's probably not good for my future goals in terms of Republicans ever winning.
C
Yeah.
F
Quite amusing. Quite amusing. All right. Coming up, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on cases banning biological men from competing in girls sports. Were they receptive to it? We have the updates next on American Sunrise.
B
God bless the USA in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
F
Welcome back to American sunrise. It's time now for our Moment of Faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus. Today, the Supreme Court, the high court, heard oral arguments in two cases challenging state laws that ban transgender girls and women from playing on school sports teams. The court's conservative majority appeared likely to uphold these bans, with justices questioning whether they violate the constitution or Title 9. Opponents of the laws argue the laws discriminate, while supporters say they protect fairness in women's sports. A decision is expected later this term. Let's now bring in the president and CEO of Unified us Timothy Head. Timothy, thank you so much for being with us this morning. You know, do you think that we are going to have a ruling that is positive in regards to women's sports later this term?
D
Yeah, good question. Of course, you know, this is a highly contested issue and, and whether it's positive or not, I guess, depends on your perspective. But I think that, of course, it's a 6:3 court with, with six justices leaning probably on the more conservative or constructionist interpretation of the Constitution. And a couple of those indicated, probably three of them indicated in their question, in their the questioning in oral argument that they are inclined to allow states to restrict participation of trans women participating in women's sports. Obviously, the, the, the three that that lean left are going to, to support it, but I don't think that's going to carry the day here. So more than likely I think that we will see it still be able to see states restrict that kind of participation going forward. We'll probably note and get the actual opinion maybe mid to late June. This is this is obviously a pretty controversial case. The court tends to delay until the very last minute to actually release the opinions on their most kind of highly publicized opinions.
F
It'll certainly be Interesting to read the opinions on this case in particular. Now, what happens? Let's say that, you know, they do rule in favor of common sense, in favor of women's sports, of keeping young women safe. What would that look like throughout the country? Would states have to perhaps change laws moving forward?
D
Well, so right now, a limited number of states have taken this issue on, some proactively to disallow participation and others proactively to allow. And so each of the states, I just expect that you'll see state legislatures take this up. I think we're only like 12 or 15 states that have actually taken on the issue so far. But I think you'll see just across the country, basically every state probably when the next legislative session, which would at that point be in 2027 for most states, would probably pick this up because it's such a volatile issue that it's hard to imagine a legislature is just kind of like sitting silent once the Supreme Court has said it's up to you.
F
Absolutely. It's certainly going to be consequential. Timothy Head, thank you for joining us. Appreciate you breaking this all down, of course.
D
Always. God bless.
F
God bless. We'll be back with the second hour of American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
A
Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, Vice President J.D. vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio set to meet with foreign ministers from Greenland and Denmark today. This meeting comes as President Trump continues to push for the United States to acquire Greenland. We'll have the details in just a moment. Plus, President Trump says anti Semites have no place in the Republican Party or even the wider MAGA movement. These comments come from a recent interview with the New York Times. We're going to talk about what he said and what it means for MAGA and the America first movement. Also later, state officials in Minnesota are suing the Trump administration over the White House's immigration immigration crackdown in the Twin Cities. The move comes as unrest remains following the shooting of a woman by an ICE officer. These stories, so much more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts. But a bump right now.
B
Good morning America.
A
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
C
Politics.
B
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
C
We've got you covered.
B
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
C
We have to protect the American family.
A
The American dream is still alive.
B
I'm David Brody.
C
I'm terrence.
A
And I'm Dr. Gina.
B
And welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I am David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G in West Palm and Tea Bay in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to both of you. Hey. So by the way with Iran, Gina and Terrence, obviously the US Personnel are being told to evacuate the air base in Qatar this morning. They're saying get out by Wednesday evening as in tonight. So, Gina, I'm not a rocket scientist, but I'm not stupid enough to realize that something may be coming very soon.
A
Yeah, well, they don't seek it out for no reason. And you're right, it's an ominous announcement. Terrence, as somebody who has lived on military bases, what's your thought?
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah. It's frightening and obviously it's, I think it's also a prelude to what's likely to come. And that would be some sort of military intervention as it relates to the protests in Iran. It's something that we're going to continue to watch. In fact, Iran reportedly set to hang a 26 year old detained protester as soon as today. It would mark what many watchdog groups are calling the country's first protest related execution. The death toll from weeks of protest in the Islamic Republic has now surpassed some 2,500 people and counting. And while President Trump is continuing to weigh whether to intercede militarily, as we just talked, he did offer this brief message to Iran on Tuesday, additionally, starting February 1st, where they've got to show humanity they've got a big problem and I hope they're not going to be killing people and I'm going to have a report very soon. It would seem to me that they have been badly misbehaving. He also went on to say, basically, stop what you're doing, keeping it short and sweet. And just in this morning, Iran warning its neighboring countries that are hosting U.S. troops that it will retaliate against American bases in that region if the Trump administration intervenes in the protests at the top. You just heard David talk about some of those troops already being told to get out by this evening. Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have been in what's being described as constant contact with the Trump administration over the potential of US Strikes there in Iran. They believe that such attacks could spark a full blown war. Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary are facing the prospect of being held in contempt of Congress. This after the former first couple is refusing to appear for a deposition related to the House Oversight Committee's Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The former president was scheduled to testify on Tuesday. The former secretary of state scheduled to testify and be deployed. Committee chair James Comer says the Clintons sent a letter saying that they will not be appearing because they believe his subpoenas are, quote, legally invalid. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Brittany Lockley, Weather Nation meteorologist, joining us right now with more on what you can expect. She also has your hometown forecast. Brittany, so good to see you on this Wednesday morning morning.
A
It's so good to see you too, Terrence. I hope you're having a lovely day and I hope your viewers are having a lovely day as well. We're going to get into that hometown forecast, especially for areas like Milwaukee. Shout out to Sam vet. He was reaching out to us early this morning from Getter. And here is a look at that seven day forecast for you. Now. We do have that lake effect snow that will be moving through much of the Midwest. So you're going to be impacted in Milwaukee. 80% chance of seeing that snowfall for today, 25 degrees for today. And look at those temperatures as they steadily decline. You're going to be waking up to single digits as we get into your Saturday morning Las Vegas. Different story for you, 73 degrees. And another one of your viewers from Los Angeles looking really sorry. Las Vegas looking really good across this region. Dallas, Texas, we take you out to your seven day forecast. 60 degrees, pretty nice across the area. We are going to cool down just slightly as we get into your Saturday and your Sunday, but plenty of sunshine. And if you want to see your name across the screen, make sure that you are sending us your phone, your hometown forecast, Terence, I'm going to send it back to you.
C
All right, Brittany, appreciate it. We'll talk to you later on. And again there at the bottom of your screen, folks, you see that QR code, go ahead and scan it and join our friends over at Weather Nation. You can have the forecast at your fingertips, quite literally at the touch of a button on your phone. All right, let's get you back over to David. David, I hope you scan that QR code so that you can join our friends over at Weather Nation as well.
B
I need to do that.
C
Actually.
B
I have not done that. I'll be honest with you. So let me go do that now. So can you give me a moment? No, we got to go. Okay. But I'll do it. I promise. The foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland will meet with Vice President J.D. vance and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the White House today as President Trump renews his push for US control of that strategic Arctic island. Denmark and Greenland say the goal is dialogue moving a rapidly escalating dispute into the diplomatic area. Greenland's prime minister said on Tuesday he would rather his country remain part of the Kingdom of Denmark rather than become part of the United States. All right, joining us now with a reaction to that and a whole lot more, South Carolina Congressman William Timmons. Congressman, good morning to you. So President Trump has said the United States will acquire Greenland one way or another.
C
Okay.
B
Do you support it? Do you want Greenland to become a US Territory? Where are you on this?
D
Absolutely. It's in our national security interest, and it's an incredible opportunity. Greenland's three times the size of Texas, has trillions of dollars in natural resour, and there's only 50,000 people that inhabit the entire island. So we're in a position to extract those natural resources. This is a historic opportunity. You know, it's the art of the deal. We're watching it in real time, and I'm optimistic it's going to work out.
C
All right, Congressman, we now have a bipartisan group of lawmakers out there who are pushing a bill that would actually restrict what they call unauthorized military action by the President. Proponents say that this bill comes in response to the President's comments about acquiring Greenland specifically. We've got this here up on our screen. So where do you stand on this? Should Congress have that much oversight over the president? Should they be that involved in terms of what he does initially with the military?
D
It's ridiculous. The President's not going to use the military to take Greenland. He's engaging in the art of the deal. And these members that are trying to restrict his ability to negotiate, it's just unreasonable. So, no, Congress should not do this. It's not our place. The President is the commander in chief and he's going to do everything possible to expand our national security. And that's exactly what Greenland becoming a territory will do. We currently have a space base, Bidoufique, formerly Thule. It's at the northernmost point of Greenland. And it is an incredibly important part of our national security apparatus. And we need to expand our ability to secure our homeland, and that involves Greenland.
A
Congressman, do a lot of people confuse you with Steve that's running for. Running for governor in California? Do a lot of people confuse you for him? Because I've got to say, you look just like him. Attorney now wanted to go to an actual topic. Not talking about that, but you really, really look like that guy. This is the ongoing health care debate in Congress. Earlier this week, President Trump said he may veto an extension of Obamacare subsidies. The House has passed legislation that would restore those expired subsidies, but faces an uncertain future in the Senate. Do you see a possibility for compromise here? Do you see any good coming of this for taxpayers? Because I think this should have been doged.
D
Listen, we're discussing extending Covid era subsidies for a failing healthcare system. It's absolutely ridiculous. You cannot throw trillions of dollars after a failed health care system. Obamacare does not work. So we need to address affordability of healthcare, and that involves starting from the ground up. We need to stop treating sickness and delaying death and start facilitating health and wellness. The American people have to be responsible for their health. And look, I want to help anybody that gets hit by a car or has some genetic defect. But when you earn your sickness, when you eat yourself and refuse to exercise for decades and decades and then you get sick, that is entirely avoidable. And we got to get the American people healthy and they got to be a part of that solution, not throwing taxpayer dollars out there.
B
What is the solution? Because the House has passed this. You had Republican defections. Was it 7 or was it 14? I can't remember. It might have been 14 defections. What are you gonna do here? Because now it's in the Senate's hands and I don't know where Trump's gonna come down on this, cuz this is the art of the deal. And now he's talking about, you gotta be flexible in the Hyde Amendment, which is, I mean, you can't be flexible on the Hyde Amendment.
D
I think the thing to do here is to say, all right, we're going to give Congress six months to act and we can extend some of these subsidies for a few months, not a few years, and then actually address affordability. Because the solution is not throwing taxpayer dollars down a black hole. We have $37 trillion in debt. We run a $2 trillion annual deficit. We are running out of money to give away. And people need to take responsibility for their own healthcare. They need to take a walk, they need to eat a salad, and they need to stop eating Snickers and drinking soda. It's as simple as that. The President and RFK are moving in that direction by getting people to take care of themselves more. But we gotta push in that direction, not subsidize poor decisions.
C
Congressman, I feel triggered because Snickers and soda, that's my breakfast, typically every day. But you're right, I gotta start doing better. I gotta start doing better. So I agree with you all Right, let's get to some actual news. Look, we started the conversation talking about Greenland. Greenland. And it's, you know, President Trump's push to kind of take it over. Obviously, the situation in Iran is making global headlines and there potentially would be U.S. involvement there. You think of Venezuela. That's also an issue the President is addressing. And then there, of course, is the ongoing thorn in our side, which is Russia, Ukraine. There's so much happening abroad. Where do you stand on US Involvement in all of those powder kegs that literally are just one crisis away from blowing up right now?
B
Oh, did he not hear us?
C
Congressman, are you hearing me?
A
Looks like we're having a little bit of a technical issue. We'll have to come back to him.
B
I think he.
C
I guess I should have started with. I shouldn't have started with soda. And.
A
You shut it down. You and President Trump. What are we gonna do with you two?
B
On a separate note, he looked like chairman of the board. Did he not? With that chair. That was an impressive chair behind him. He looked like he was, like, doing the Apprentice or something.
A
What's Steve's last name that's running for governor of California. Why can't I think of it?
B
Oh, yeah, the guy with the accent. Right.
C
Hold on. Right. The British.
B
The British guy looks Jack. Yeah, the British guy.
A
Like him. I'm not kidding. And I bet Terry and he, unlike you and President Trump, that he eats healthy.
C
Yes, And I'm going to do better.
A
But better than Snickers and soda for breakfast?
C
Terrence, that's not saying it's not difficult.
B
Right.
C
It's a pretty low bar. I know. Dr. Judy.
A
You know what?
C
Go ahead. Steve Hilton.
F
Hilton.
B
Steve Hilton.
A
That's it. How can you.
B
Steve Hilton.
A
Yes.
B
All right. We gotta go.
A
We do.
B
We gotta go.
A
Yeah.
B
Congressman Timmons, wherever you are, thank you. Appreciate it.
A
Appreciate it. Thank you, sir.
C
Bald is beautiful. Congressman. I love you.
B
That he's gone to Skype heaven. All right, coming up, a major court laws for satanic abortion activists. A federal appeals court just tossed out the Satanic Temple's challenge to Indiana's abortion law. They ruled the group didn't even have the right to bring the case in the first place. Sorry, Satanists, that story after the break. Don't go anywhere.
F
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning, we are flushing out satanic abortion activists, Literally. A federal appeals court has unanimously thrown out a lawsuit from the Satanic Temple Challenging Indiana's abortion law ruling the group doesn't even have the legal right to be in court in the first place. The seventh circuit court of appeals upheld a lower court decision saying the satanic temple lacks standing, meaning their claim never got off the ground. Despite the group's argument that abortion is part of a so called satanic abortion ritual, the group noted that the group does not operate an abortion clinic in Indiana and that plans, ideas or telehealth hopes are not enough to overturn state law. In other words, the judges weren't buying what the satanic temple was selling. For more, let's bring in David, Terrence and Gina. Gina, I had a difficult time even trying to read this story. I mean, I mean abortion ritual. What kind of disgusting nonsense is this?
A
I mean abortion is a satanic ritual and this is absolutely well known. This is the way they get us to. It's so funny. I was having a conversation. Oh, I know who it was. It was with former producer friend of mine and he was saying how he cannot believe that the evil big pharma medical industrial complex that RFK Jr fights every day to save this country from is now killing our dogs cuz they give us such pleasure. So they've taken it upon themselves to over vaccinate them, put chemicals in all of their stuff, use the mRNA, all the rest of it. We're supposed to be doing to them what we've been doing to our children for years. And I said back to him, you know, this is. They're not satisfied. The appetite of evil is voracious and endless and merciless. And they weren't satisfied with the fact that we were killing our babies. Now they want us killing our dogs as well. It's truly evil and this is never going to stop. I spoke with a group of young people just last night and they were asking me what can they do to stop this hideous abortion industry. And I said, you know, evil is always going to persist. You have to keep your faith where it belongs, keep your nose in the Bible, keep your heart in prayer and realize that this is not our home. I don't know what else to say. I'm not saying give up the fight, but I'm saying don't be discouraged or cynical. Don't be made cynical by it.
D
David.
B
Get in the word, get into the Bible. Literally read the Bible. That's where truth resides and everybody's searching for truth nowadays and you're not gonna find it out there, you just won't. Because everybody is a free thinker.
D
Great.
B
Don't get me wrong. Free thinking, great. But you know what? That's an opinion, okay? And your opinion may be right, your opinion may be wrong, but God doesn't have an opinion. It's actual fact. It's in the Bible. People have been trying to prove the Bible wrong since, oh, I don't know, the beginning of time. And they haven't been able to do so. You know, to me, this satanic stuff is low hanging fruit, right? You know, if you go around saying, I'm a Satanist, okay, you're crazy. That's weird. But it's the people that don't go around saying they're a Satanist, but they do evil things. And more importantly, it's not even. Doesn't even look evil. It actually looks righteous.
A
And don't forget Satan knows every word.
B
Of scripture a hundred percent. He's a. He's a bi. He went to, what's it called, Seminary. He went to seminary. There's no doubt about it. He knows every single word of the Bible. And look, you're either following God or you're following Satan. And that's the hard truth this morning.
F
Terrence, any thoughts?
C
I'll just quickly say I rebuke Satan. I rebuke Satanists, I rebuke what's evil and I stand with God in the name of Jesus.
F
That's right. Amen. Coming up, we are headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.

Welcome back, everyone. We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in about six minutes or so. We, of course, will take you there live. I can tell you you that the futures are kind of up and down. Here's a look at our futures board. You can see the top is all in red. That will be the dow S P500 and the NASDAQ. Those, of course, are the major indices. They are not looking so hot in pre market trading. But again, we'll take you to the New York Stock Exchange for the opening bell and let you know exactly how things are looking once that happens. Now let's get you over to David Brody. And David, I have to say I'm getting ready to give into an urge that I've had for the last week and a half since you're the only grandfather on the show. Dr. Gina doesn't have any grandkids. I don't have any grandkids. I'm gonna call you Pawpaw. That's your new nickname. Hey, Papa.
B
I've been waiting for the whole week.
C
I was like, for. I'm gonna do this. No, I'm not. And today I was just like, you know what? I'm going for it.
B
Pawpaw.
D
Hey, Papa. Oh, my goodness.
B
Well, thank you, T. Bates. I don't know what to call you now. All I know is when you said you had an urge, I thought, I thought you were gonna talk about another Snickers bar. But anyhow.
C
Nicely played. I like it.
B
Well, thank you, sir. All right, time now for our dollar.
C
Oh, my.
B
Ipawpaw. Time now for a dollar. You've thrown me a dose of dollars in common sense. Joining us now, what you need to know about keeping your hard earned money is in your wallet. By the way, is the Republican strategist and host of the 13 Minute NewsHour, Bobby. Bobby, great to have you. The burning question is, why is it the 13 minute NewsHour? Why is it not the 17 minute or the 11 minute News Hour? That's really the burning question.
D
I know, right? That's what everybody wants to know. And I was born on the 13th, turned 13 on Friday the 13th, so it kind of just stuck with me. And in sports, that's always my number, so figured it was good for the show.
B
Well, that is news you can use. I had no idea about that. By the way, I was also born on the 13th. February 13th.
D
All right. Hey, I like it.
B
Bobby, let me ask you this. We're gonna talk about money in a moment. I gotta get your reaction to President Trump's recent interview with the New York Times. So he was asked if there was any room for antisemitism in the gop. Finally, someone asked him that question, and he responded by saying, quote, I don't think we need them. I don't think we like them. What's your reaction to this?
D
Well, I tend to, when we're talking about discrimination or speech that really tries to diminish any person, I tend to look at it in the larger picture. It's like, we don't want antisemitism. I mean, the left is. Their primary attack in recent years has been white Christian males. I don't like that either. And so there's no room in our party for anyone that wants to discriminate against, you know, black, white, men, women. And so President Trump calling that out, I think, is a good thing. I think we need to stand by and have that philosophy that we need to bring people together and if we can rally around our message, our America first agenda, that's what we need to do. But when we go out and we disparage any particular person for their religion or any kind of organization or, you know, just being a man or a woman, I'm against that 100%.
B
Yeah, for sure. All right, so let's talk about the banks. They are not happy with President Trump's proposal to cap credit card interest rates at 10% for a year. Of course, the President really hasn't specified exactly how he's gonna implement this. And it's unclear if he can even do this. Actually, more than unclear, Bobby, he can't do this.
D
No, I don't think he can do it.
B
He can't do this.
D
But what's going on, what's so interesting now is that the credit card companies and the electronic processing have gotten so ahead of this as far as their data and their reasons, you know, why the sky would be falling. And they can't do it. I mean, according to them, some of these reports, 90%, 90% of all credit card users would have their accounts closed because they deem those as non profitable if you went to a 10% interest rate and they're not going to do a losing venture. So they are out in force as far as their studies and their talking points and their messaging. And so. Right. That's going to be a big hill to climb if 90% of all users would be cut, and then those that still would remain with a credit card would have some of their perks, you know, their travel bonuses, cash back and everything cut. So the credit card companies are out in force. I don't think the President can do this. But there's not the messaging on the other side on how it can be done either.
B
I got 15, 20 seconds. Real quick. The Fed chair, Jerome Powell, these subpoenas. What do you make of what's going on here? You got 18 and a half seconds, Bobby.
D
All right, two different issues. You know, you've got the subpoenas for failure to respond to Congress. And then you've got the overall inability to lower those interest rates as the President wants. He needs to go. I don't think it'll be until May when his term is up, but good riddance to him. Bobby.
E
Ever.
D
Really great to have you.
B
Thank you. The consummate TV professional keeping it to 18 and a half seconds. Thank you, sir. Appreciate it.
D
Thanks a lot.
B
All right, let's go to Terrence and Denver. The opening bell, sponsored by amac, the.

C
All right, we're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in less than a minute. And then we'll get an idea of how the markets are going to shape up on this Wednesday of trading. There's the applause. You hear it, which means the bell is going to follow here in short order. Looks like black space. That's what it says there. Black spade. Excuse me? Black spade. I'm getting glasses soon, so I will be able to see this small TV screen in front of you. Black spade is at the podium. And again, the bell is going to ring here in short order. In fact, market just rang, which means the markets are now open and trading is underway. That guy in the front, I think he seems pretty happy. He was a little boisterous there to hear. Look at him. He's still going. Yeah, pump your fist, buddy. All right, here's a quick look at the markets. The Dow, S P 500 and the NASDAQ, all in the red. The rest, though, the bottom half of our screen is in the green. Which means that there are some indices and some trade values that are looking up right now. We, of course, will continue to monitor it for you throughout the day. In the meantime, a new year means new financial goals, like making sure that your savings are secure and diversified. Will this be the year that you finally Listen to us here on RAV and talk to someone over at the Birch Gold Group. They really are good people and we appreciate their educational approach and their understanding of macroeconomics. There are forces out there pushing the dollar lower and gold higher. And that's why the Birch Gold Group believes that every American should own physical gold until January 30th. If you're a first time gold buyer, the Birch Gold Group is offering a rebate of up to $10,000 on qualifying purchases. If you'd like to claim eligibility and start the process, simply text the word America to the number 989-898. The Birch Gold Group can help you roll an exhibit, existing IRA or 401k into an IRA in gold and you're still eligible for a rebate of up to $10,000. Make right now your first time to buy gold and take advantage of a rebate of up to 10 grand when you buy by January 30th. Text the word America to the number 9,898.98 and claim your eligibility today. Again, it's all as simple as texting the word America to the number 9,898. All right, let's take a quick break. When we come back here on American Sunrise. Minnesota and the Twin Cities are suing the Trump administration calling a massive IPA ICE operation there a federal invasion and demanding that it stopped. We'll break it on down in the looming legal fight after this break. Dr. Gina and Papa, they'll be back as well. Stick around.
D
All right.
A
Welcome back to America's sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thank you for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on getter rumble and YouTube. I feel like I should mention RAV ambassadors there, but I guess we have commercials for that. Anyway, it is time now to take the political pulse of America the beat. Today. Minnesota and the Twin Cities are taking the Trump administration to court, suing to halt what they call an unprecedented and unconstitutional federal immigration crackdown in that state. The lawsuit filed Monday argues that Operation Metro Surge, which has flooded the Twin Cities with thousands of federal agents, amounts to a federal invasion that violates the 10th Amendment and targets Democrat led sanctuary jurisdictions. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison says the operation is not legitimate law enforcement but political retaliation, pointing to President Trump's criticism of state and local leaders and the timing of the development. Here was Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey speaking on this just yesterday. Take a look.
B
If the goal were simply to look.
D
For people that are undocumented, Minneapolis and St. Paul would not be the place.
B
Where you would go. There are countless more people that are undocumented in Florida and Texas and Utah. The answer is very clear. It is politics. Florida and Texas and Utah are Republican states. The reason that Minnesota and Minneapolis are.
D
Being targeted is because you've got a.
B
Democratic governor, a Democratic attorney general, and you got Democratic mayors.
A
Okay, look, the name is spelled F R, E, Y. That's like Fray. Fray is what is ancillary and doesn't matter. So free Fry. Fro from. I'm just going to say Fray. The Trump administration is firing back on the things he said with dhs, accusing state and city leaders of failing to do their job in defending the operation as necessary to root out fraud and crime. David Terrence Frey.
B
Yes.
A
Or Fry. That's the question.
C
It is fry. It's fry.
A
No, but it's spelled like Frey because.
C
You know, I eat enough. Frey. It's spelled like Frey. Agreed, but it's pronounced Fry. And I only know this because I'm the fat guy on the show, and I like French fries and Snickers and Coke in the morning. So that's the only reason I know it's Fry.
D
Dave.
A
Call me mom, Donnie, and Frey. And I'll say it however I want. David Brody.
B
Well, so nanny.
E
Nanny.
C
Boo.
B
Boo. Yeah, I agree. Call me mom, Donnie. I like that one for sure. All right, so can we just have, like, a real discussion? The cameras aren't rolling, right? It's just real.
A
It's just us. It's just us. It's like a therapy session. Lay down on the couch.
B
Oh, good. Oh, well, if it's therapy session, I do love Broadway musicals, but I told you that yesterday. So here's the thing. My view on this is like. Like the Trump administration. Now, hear me out and don't beat me up in the chat. Oh, they're gonna beat me up in the chat. They're gonna beat you up, so they're gonna beat me up. I already know it. But here's the thing. The Trump administration said they're going after the criminals. They always said they were going after the criminals. That was clear. Now, they obviously said anybody here that overstayed their visa and is here illegally and shouldn't have even been in the country? Yes, we heard that, too. But, Gina, Terrence, tell me if I'm wrong. Did we hear from this administration that pretty much they were going after the criminals first? Did we hear that? I think we heard that, yeah. Anyhow, so therefore, if you look at who's been arrested, 73% of folks that have been arrested are non criminals. So they are criminals in the sense that they came here illegally. I'm not saying that.
A
Okay, okay, okay, David, let's go here. Because I'll tell you something, this reminds me of Gaza. I get it. I think I get it. At least I think I do. But then again, I don't know how to pronounce fry, so this reminds me of Gaza. And here's why. Because everyone's like, they're killing all these civilians. It's because the non criminals there are harboring the criminals, and the politicians are telling them to do it.
B
Time out, time out. Time out, time out.
A
Wait, what?
B
No, if they're harboring. If the non criminals are harboring the criminals. Yeah. They should be rounded up.
A
Of course.
B
So that's my question, and it's really more a question. I'm not coming down on the side of the liberal mumbo jumbo stuff. I'm asking.
A
You kind of are.
B
No, I'm not, though. Because here's the question.
A
Yeah, because here's the actual precedent, David. The actual preface of this entire conversation is the fact that if you came here illegally, ever, you're breaking the law. Criminal act.
B
Okay, so are you saying. Are you saying that.
D
That.
B
Terrence, help me out. Are you saying that someone's been here 25, 30 years because Congress didn't do their job? You're saying if they're at a 7 11, not 7 11, that's probably a bad example. If they're at Walmart and they just not overstayed their visa, they just came here illegally 30 years ago, you just want them gone no matter what? Is that what you're saying?
A
Let me tell you this, David. If someone. If someone broke into your house 25 years ago and they find them now, would you like them to be prosecuted? Yes or no?
B
Yes, I would.
A
Case in point.
B
Okay, but I don't know if that necessarily solves my. That doesn't answer my question. I asked you a question. Whether or not we got to bring the guests and don't we. I'm. Terrence, I got to hear you. I got to hear you on this.
C
I'm simply going to say there's. There's the rule of law. And I. I get your point from a humanitarian standpoint, but there's still the rule of law. And if you.
B
Okay, so wait a minute. Hold on for a second. Roll, quick. So if you're saying the rule of law. Wait, T. Bates. But if you're saying the rule of law, then you are saying you're agreeing with Gina here. You are saying that anybody that is in this country illegally, that's been. I'm talking about people that have been here 25, 30, 35 years. I'm talking about those people. I'm not talking about people that come in during the Biden administration. I'm talking about people that have been here forever and had kids here and the whole thing. You're saying that all those people need to be kicked out of the country. That's what you're saying.
C
I think if you get swept up. First of all, if you're here illegally, no matter. Just let me make my point. If you're here illegally, no matter the circumstances. Circumstances. If you get caught in any sort of sweep and you've had 25, 30 to your point. Years.
B
I agree with that.
C
Your situation straight. Or to straighten out your situation. And you haven't. Well, you've put yourself in a situation to be deported. It's unfortunate in some cases, but there.
B
Is the rule of law.
C
Why. And that. That would be my only point. But guys, we do need to get to our guys because we could have this conversation for, for. Okay, cool topic.
A
Because our producers are to going. Going to put us. Us. They're going to come for us. They're going to send ice if we don't get to our guests.
B
But I agree with that. I just want to say. I agree with that. I do agree with that. If you're caught up in the sweep, you got to go.
A
Yeah, you got to go. Anyway, I agree from. With Terrence. All right. For more, we want to bring in Daily Signal, author of the book the War on History, Jerry. Jared Stuttman. I'm apparently just not pronouncing names right today and forgetting them all together. So you get to weigh in. Now you go. Are you with Terry?
C
Actually, Jared, forget what you got to say. Another thing. I got another. No, I'm sorry, Jared, go ahead.
A
Where do you stand?
D
No, I think it's a very interesting. It's a good conversation. I do think that there's a reason why in cases like in Minnesota, why there are a lot of people who, let's say, were not necessarily criminals on top of the fact of the original act being swept up in these raids, it's in part because the governments in these states are not cooperating with authorities. I think that there's a reason they're doing. Doing these raids. They don't know who they're going to get in many cases. And so that ends up a lot of people who haven't done other criminal acts. So I can see why the numbers are skewed in this case. I think this is the problem with the general sanctuary policies. You don't have local governments cooperating with the federal government. So now you have to send in agents. You have the scenes like what we've seen in Minneapolis and other places. And I think it's sort of intentional. I mean, in the cases of Minnesota, they want to create a scene because they don't believe in any of the enforcement. So they're trying to make it seem as if the administration is acting improperly and out of control. And so I think this has very much been orchestrated by politicians in Minnesota, California, you name it. Blue states, they want this because they don't like the policies. They don't like any of the deportations. They would like to go back to how things were under President Joe Biden. I think that's just a reality. And they will bring those policies back, back if they take back power at the federal government. So I think this is in many ways been orchestrated. You could say that in many cases some of these scenes look very bad, but I think they've been orchestrated to be that way by the people in charge in a lot of these states.
B
Yeah, I mean, listen, listen, I just want to be very clear. If you've been here, did you just.
C
Have a papa moment?
B
I did. I'm about to have a pow, pow moment here in a second in terms of all the stuff I'm gonna get on the chat. But look, if you've been here 25, 30 years and you're hanging around some of these nefarious characters gone goodbye 100%. So I'm agreeing with you on that. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm talking about is the Trump and Jared, maybe you can answer this. I mean, do you believe the Trump administration is going and looking beyond the criminal aspect of this and just going willy nilly into neighborhoods to just try to find people that have been either overstayed their visas or came here illegally like that. In other words, administrative warrants, not judicial warrants is my point. It's an important distinction.
D
I think they have generally, at least in the past, at least initially, they were targeting people who, who had committed other crimes, were connected to gangs, who had done other things besides, again, the initial illegal act, which is crossing the border. I think that they are now stepping into the territory of, well, we need to broaden that to other groups. In fact, many people who simply just broke the laws initially, they think that they have somewhat of a mandate to do that. They feel that that is what the American people have called for.
B
And that's my point. Yeah. And that I'm surgery. But that's my point. But that's my point. My point is, is that they sold. They sold us that we're going after the criminals. They didn't sell. If they had said during the campaign, we're going with. We're going against every or. We're going to round up everybody. That's not what they said. They didn't say that.
A
Deport illegal. That's what I voted for. I didn't say you might have voted for.
B
But that's not what they said. But that's not what they said.
A
What they said at certain points. Yes, David. I think. I think it's both. And what is it?
C
Hey, guys. We can argue that to ad nauseam, but I do wanna bring your attention to Joe Rogan. He's kind of weighing in on the situation as well. On his podcast Tuesday, he even appeared to compare the ICE agents to Nazi. I can't even say the word. Cause I hate it that much. Nazi Gestapo. I want you to listen to this and then we'll talk on the other side.
D
You don't want militarized people in the streets just roaming around, snatching people up, many of which turn out to actually be US Citizen. They just don't have their papers on them. Are we really going to be the Gestapo? Where's your papers? Is that what we've come to?
F
They're not.
C
Jarrett, your response?
A
They're not citizens. I don't understand even.
C
Dr. Gina, can we argument?
A
Yes, please.
F
Please go.
C
I hear you, Dr. Gina. Jarrett, you are our guest. Would you give us your reaction?
D
I'm sure Rogan is echoing a sentiment that. That many people have. Again, I think this situation has been created by many of the politicians in the states that they're in. They've created a situation where how else are they going to go after people? I mean, there was another incident that took place in Portland very shortly after the one that took place in Minnesota where a Border Patrol agent actually had to ended up shooting two individuals who were in a vehicle who tried to hit him, who tried to run him over. However, a lot of these agents are in very difficult situations with some people who are actually very much hardened criminals who are targeting enforcement officials. And many have been put in very difficult situations where they have a literal mob that's trying to impede their operations. So that many of this looks bad, it looks wild, it looks out of control. I think to a certain extent has been orchestrated. Unfortunately, a lot of these agents have been putting in harm's way. I don't think this was even the case a few years ago. I think there was more or less broad support for some of the things that ICE has done. But now the country is in a very different place. There are a lot of people who want to resist the federal government. They want to resist immigration enforcement. And that's I think creating the scenes that we see across the country.
A
Well, Jarrett Stepman, you're doing yeoman's work, stepping into this family fight and not explaining to David Brody in any uncertain terms, Papa Brody why exactly it is if someone broke in your house 25 years ago, you would still want them prosecuted. Thank you so much for being with us today.
B
Thank you very much.
C
That was the most boisterous segment we've had in a while. Yeah, Popsicle energy.
A
I love you guys. What's really in the tea you're drinking every day? Well, after the break, we're going to show you the brew that flips, focuses both on your body and your mind. We're spilling tea when American Sunrise Beach. I don't know what we've been doing, but I guess we're going to keep doing it. Two minutes. Stay with us.
C
Let's spill some tea. Let's spill some tea is fueled by Artillery Tea Company. It's the only America for first veteran owned tea brand out there. Their mission is to maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. There's no junk here, just real tea. And here's the tactical advantage. Each bag brews twice. Just go over to artillerytco.com use the code RAV for 10% off of your first order. Again, that's artilleryteco.com it's premium tea that's mission driven and brewed for the brave. All right folks, let's get right into what's in the cup today. And that will be Artillery Tea Company co founder Mike Britton. I don't know how he found his way into the cup, but he is there and he's joining us for the conversation. Mike, always good to see you, brother. How are you?
D
Good, Terence. Thanks for having me again.
C
Absolutely. So look, I want to talk about the subscription service momentarily, but in that intro I read and we talk about this all the, all the time and I think it's important to point out, point out we say that, you know, it's real tea. It's not that fake stuff, but it's Real tea. What specifically does that mean? And compare kind of your product with the real tea to what one might normally get, say in the grocery store.
D
Yeah, Terence, Normally tea comes in the form of something called tea dust or tea fennels. It's literally the byproduct of what they, what happens when they produce rt, which is wholly beef. And so you're getting like a tea that has lost its nutritional value, that is substantially more bitter than what natural tea tastes like. It doesn't taste like natural tea at all. If you've ever had whole leaf tea, you can tell the taste difference quite, quite easily. Another reason why our bags can be brewed twice. When you go to the grocery store and you, and you buy their tea bags that are filled with, you know, bleach and, and chemicals, ech, that's used in insect fumigation, all kinds of kinds of stuff that they use to hold that bag together that can only be brewed once because it's tea dust. So you're getting the, the nasty chemicals. You're getting the, the lowest grade tea that you can get. With ours, our tea bags are made out of plant based materials that are biodegradable. And our, our tea leaves themselves are the highest grade that you can get versus the lowest grade. It'll be a full leaf. It'll expand in the bag and give you that natural flavor nutritional profile.
C
So it's high quality, high grade tea that you'd be getting. And people now have an opportunity to subscribe and get a subscription so they can try all of your products. How does this work?
D
Yeah, Terrence, we're wanting to announce the creation of a new subscription program today. A lot of infrastructure went behind this. This took for, frankly forever for me to put together a lot of headaches with like the it and the in the back end setup and all this kind of thing. But today we're finally ready to, to announce the creation of the Patriots Brew Club. It's only been around for about a month or so. This is a brand new subscription program offering from us.
C
All right, so how does it work? Obviously people can go to the website, I would imagine, and sign up, but how does this brew club work?
D
Yeah, it's different from our previous program. Our previous program was just a simple, you know, subscribe and save 10%. This program now offers free shipping on all orders, which is new. New. And it also offers tiered discounts. And so if you have two items in your car, it's 10 off three items on your subscription, 15 off four items, 20% you know, plus. And also we offer this in every month delivery, every two month delivery, or every three month delivery. So a lot of variety there to fit everybody's, you know, budget and, and tea consumption rates and all, all this kind of thing. So we wanted to make it maximally flexible. You can also switch out flavors at any time. You can cancel at any time. There, there's no commitments.
C
And all of this is accessible on your website, artillerytco.com correct?
D
Yeah, that's right. We had one extra feature that we put in there too, Terence, and that's something called milestone rewards. And so this is new too, from the previous program. Every, I think your second shipment, your fourth shipment, your sixth, and your 12th, you'll get a free milestone reward along the way that you unlock as you stay subscribed.
C
Oh, that is awesome. All right, Mike, always good to talk to you, my friend. You see the website there at the bottom of your screen, folks. ArtilleryTC or artillerytco.com, whichever way you want to pronounce it. Log on and go ahead and get your subscription. Well, coming up, our very own Dr. Gina standing by with the stories that she's keeping her eye on. The One to Watch is next here on American Sunrise.
A
All right, welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thanks so much for joining us today. Time now for the One to Watch. Here's what I'm following today. President Trump says the United States will take very strong action if Iran moves forward with executing demonstrators. As human rights groups report that more than 2400 protesters have been killed in just weeks. One case drawing international alarm. 26 year old Irfan Sultani. Detention, a death sentence and an execution date, all planned, all moving at breakneck speed, according to the human rights monitors. The Trump administration says it is reviewing the death toll and weighing next steps as Iran defends its actions and blames what it calls terrorists. Now the President is showing support, support for Iran with a new slogan. Take a look.
C
And I've canceled all meetings with the Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters stops. And all I say to them is help is on its way. You saw that. I put tariffs on anybody doing business with Iran. Just went into effect today. And I say make Iran great again.
B
You know, it was a great country.
C
Until these monsters came in and took it over.
A
David Brody, I know you have a lot to say about this. I'm just gonna shut up and let you talk.
B
I'll be 20 seconds. Make Iran great again. Not what we signed up for, number one. He's the acting president in Venezuela. He is going to be the chancellor of Greenland soon, I'm assuming. And beyond all of that, he is the chairman, literally, of the Gaza Board of Peace. That's what it's called, the Gaza Board of Peace. He also put his name on the Institute of peace building in D.C. it's called the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. He loves being the peace president. Tbates.
C
Well, to your point, he is kind of heading up this Gaza Institute of Peace, and in doing so, he's enlisted the support of regional neighbors of other neighbors throughout the Middle East. I'd like to see something similar happen when it comes to Iran. I know we don't necessarily see eye to eye on the reality of that, but I'd like to see the president exact same, some sort of leverage on the Egypt, the Saudi Arabia, some of those other Arab countries to do something to step in in Iran. That's what I'd like to see.
A
Well, Kristi Noem said voluntarily self deport or take a free trip home, face arrest. That is the last word that I want to say regarding deportation. I don't care if it was 25 years ago or when. Deport them all you guys. War room is up next.
D
Hi.
C
Bet papa.
A
I bet the gate.
C
Take papa.
F
Take that.
A
