Sunrise, the Trump administration versus Iran. U.S. officials are reportedly moving more military assets into the region as President Trump weighs his response against the Islamic regime. We've got the very latest. Plus, President Trump lays out his new health care plan. How is Congress feeling about it, though? South Carolina Congressman and gubernatorial hopeful in South Carolina, Ralph Norman, giving us some insight coming up. And then later, German and Canadian troops are among those in Greenland for military exercises. So how is the White House responding to that, given President Trump's intention to control the island? Those stories and so much more right now on American Sunrise.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina. All right. Good morning, everybody. I'm Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in David Brody. He's in Washington, D.C. and T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, gentlemen.
David Brody
Happy Friday.
Terrence Bates
Dr. G. Brady. Good morning.
Dr. Gina
It is Friday. I'm equipped. I'm armed here with happiness.
David Brody
We knew that was coming. We knew that was coming.
Terrence Bates
I think she Likes that dog better than she likes us. David, I'm just gonna put it out.
David Brody
Oh, that's corre.
Dr. Gina
Move on. There's lots of news this morning.
David Brody
Nicely played.
Terrence Bates
Very nicely played, Dr. Gina. All right, well, to your point, President Trump, of course, threatening the use of the Insurrection act in Minnesota. All this amid the ongoing protests and incidents involving ICE Agency. We told you about this yesterday. But from separate ICE involved shootings in Minneapolis to viral videos of ICE interactions with the public, the situation is really devolving. We want to show you this video. David, thank you for bringing this to our attention earlier this week. It shows a woman being forcibly removed from her car after ICE agents claimed that she was blocking the road. It's one of many videos that Americans are using to pretty much shape their opinions about what's really going on there in Minneapolis. So, David and Gina, I want to get your perspective on all of this, because, admittedly, I'm kind of waffling on this. Are these videos really holding law enforcement accountable and allowing the public to be watchdogs, or are they actually endangering law enforcement based on people seeing these sorts of videos and drawing conclusions without. Without necessarily having the full picture? David, we'll start with you. Since you sent the video, I'll be honest with you.
David Brody
I'm not trying to cop out on an answer to this, but I don't even see it that way. The way I see it is get out of the dang car. Get out of the dang car. Look, if you watch the video, after two minutes or so, two and a half minutes, they're telling her to, first of all, move forward. They actually tell her to move the car. There's no one in front of her. They say, move the car out of the way. She was blocking ICE from doing their job, so they just asked her to please move your car out of the way. So you know what she should do? Probably. Let me think. Hold on. Oh, move her car out of the way.
Terrence Bates
Move her car.
David Brody
You know, it's not that. It's not that hard, number one. Number two, you know, the liberals see this, and they go, oh, my gosh, this is horrible. Look at what the Trump administration is doing to those. You know, that's all you see in that video, right? It looks dramatic. Her name is Aaliyah Rahman, who. She says she was going to a medical appointment. She just wanted to get to a medical appointment. No timeout. A couple of things. She's been involved with the Black Lives Matter movement for over 10 years. She has been dealing with Code for Progress. Another liberal group as well. She, by the way, identifies as genderqueer. We should point that out as well. And by the way. Oh, there it is on the list too. She is one of a big supporter of the pro Palestinian causes. So you put it all together. You're telling me she was just out for a stroll to kind of head over to a doctor's appointment? Give me a freaking break, Dr. G.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, they just lie. Like, they said that the woman who was killed beforehand in the whole ICE situation, where the ICE agent was actually incurred internal injuries. They said that she was just on her way to take her children to daycare. Like presenting this beautiful picture of this non militant person who's just trying to get their child to daycare, you know, and they report it like this on, of course, all the Alphabet statements, soup news. And then the general public goes, my gosh. So no, I don't think that the videos are responsible for anything because I like transparency, Terrence. I like transparency. No matter what. No matter what. Just get it all out there and let's decide from there. But I think that not only are the folks who are leading these protests, who are funding these protests, they need to be held accountable. And also all of the politicians out there and all of the media who continue to propagate the lies and who continue to incite violence, they are responsible for this. And the horrible thing about this, you know, are protesters going to get. Listen, I've been a protester. I spent years in the Tea Party out there by myself on a corner with a street sign. I didn't bring my children to those things. I'll tell you why I knew my life was in danger. If you're going to go stand out on a street corner today and yell about anything, your life is in danger. Now listen, I wouldn't have resisted the way these folks do in terms of. I would have been, you know, when the police showed up, we welcomed him, we brought him cookies. There's the difference in conservative protesters and leftist militant commie protesters, which is what these are inside of our politicians, 100%.
David Brody
And by the way, last word. You like how I just say we're gonna have the last word? I think that's kind of interesting. But, you know, leave it to me to date myself and say, this is not the Leave it to Beaver crowd. Okay? So let's just leave it at that.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, but we were the Tea Party. We were.
David Brody
You guys were.
Terrence Bates
All right, guys, let's get to the Bible verse.
Dr. Gina
Oh, yeah, that's me. Hello, yes, Today's Bible verse. It's been one of those mornings I'm on my way to work, I spill a whole thing of coffee all down the front of me in a white suit.
Terrence Bates
It's Friday.
Dr. Gina
Had to go back and change. Matthew 11, 28, 30. You know, we've all had days like that. But Jesus says this about all of that. Come to me, all of you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and my burden. That's how you know when it's the Holy Spirit. That's discernment for you. All his yoke is easy and light. Remember that. Because sometimes you're trying to discern, is this an evil spirit or a holy spirit? That's how you know that one verse right there. White House Press Secretary. I'm not a pastor. That's just what I think. That's just how I do my own life. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt slammed a reporter at the briefing yesterday after he questioned ICE tactics. Take a look.
David Brody
Earlier you were just defending ICE agents generally. And earlier on, Secretary Noem spoke to the media and she said, among other things, that they are doing everything correctly. 32 people died in ICE custody last year. 170 US citizens were detained by ICE and Renee Goode was shot in the head and killed by an ICE agent. How does that equate to them doing everything critically?
Tracy Anthony
Why was Renee Goode unfortunately and tragically killed?
David Brody
Are you asking me my opinion? Because an ICE age and acted recklessly until they're unjustifiable.
Tracy Anthony
Oh, okay.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
So you're a biased reporter with a left wing opinion.
Terrence Bates
What do you want me to do?
Tracy Anthony
Yeah, because you're a left wing hack. You're not a reporter. You're posing in this room as a journalist. And it's so clear by the premise of your question. And you and the people in the media who have such biases, but fake like you're a journalist, you shouldn't even be sitting in that seat. But you're pretending like you're a journalist, but you're a left wing activist. And the question that you just raised and your answer proves your bias.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
You should be reporting on the facts. You should be reporting on the cases.
Tracy Anthony
Do you have the numbers of how many American citizens were killed at the hands of illegal aliens who ICE is trying to remove from this country? I bet you don't. I bet you didn't even read up on those stories. I bet you never even read about Lake and Riley or Jocelyn Nungre or all of the innocent Americans who were killed at the hands of illegal aliens in this country. And the brave men and women of ICE are doing everything in their power to remove those heinous individuals and make our communities safer. And shame on people like you in.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
The media who have a crooked view.
Tracy Anthony
And have a bias from view and pretend like you're a real honest journalist.
Dr. Gina
Now, that was a mic drop. Let's bring in South Carolina Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Ralph Norman. Congressman, you know, she's right. And I think conservatives need to spend more time talking about these kinds of facts so that the general public understands and is armed with facts. Because news media, like that dude sitting in the audience, like that liar, that fake, that fraud, who's an activist, not a journalist, he's sitting there and he's going out and he's the one who's going to form the opinions of the useful idiots out there. What do we do about this, Congressman?
David Brody
Well, first of all, you got to love Caroline Levitt. You know, what she said to that fake reporter was spot on. You know, this country is at a crossroad now. And it's fake reporters, like that is fake news media. It's fake politicians like Tim Walton, the mayor, who inciting violence. Everybody has a right to peacefully protest, but you can't disobey the police. And you got to remember, ICE is doing their job. They're taking criminals off the street. And for them to do what they're doing, inciting riots, throwing things at the ICE officers, I saw even one ICE officer been arrested by the police, shame on them. They'll be thrown out of office. And what President Trump is doing is spot on. He's protecting citizens. And it's unbelievable and unpatriotic what the politicians are doing. And I'm glad President Trump is doing what he's doing. And I think Caroline Levitt, it's just a great day that she is calling them out like she sees it. Yeah, these liberals are a piece of work. You have Tim Walls telling President Trump to lower the temperature when he's calling ICE Gestapo. What in the world is going on here? And by the way, I'm curious about your view on the Insurrection act, the fact that President Trump is thinking about doing it. Do you support that? Absolutely. Look, if the politicians aren't going to do it, which apparently they're not, all they can do is what Tim Walsh has done is lose $9 billion of the taxpayers money. He ought to be back in everything the ICE agents are doing and to concentrate on doing his job. And he just is not doing it. And other presidents have exercised the Insurrection act and if they're not going to take responsibility for it, then he has every right to do it. It couldn't come quick enough. How many times are the ICE agents going to be shot at or have things thrown at them? You cannot put up with that.
Terrence Bates
That's right, Congressman. You know, you and I have talked so many times. You know me as a dollars and cents S E N S E not C E N T. So let's talk a bit about these appropriation bills. It's my understanding that at this point about six of them have passed. Is that right? And how do you expect the rest of this to play out before we hit this January 30th deadline for the potential of another government shutdown?
David Brody
Well, first of all, we got to get all the members back. You have a lot of Republicans. One has been in Iraq. You've got some out for medical reasons. And next week's going to be a pivotal week.
Terrence Bates
We've got to get the bills over.
David Brody
I'm not that worried about a shutdown. You know, the Democrats did not work work out too well for them before. And so yes, we've got to get back, we've got to get back to regular order. And you know, the six bills that we, you know, have gone through and have passed, we're going to have to finish the 12, the six more. And I think we can do it. But you know, whether we can do it in time or not, I think we'll probably have to be called back into session the following week because if we can't get it done next week.
Dr. Gina
Congressman Norman, thank you for your time.
David Brody
Thank you.
Dr. Gina
All right.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Coming up.
Terrence Bates
Thank you so much, Congressman.
Dr. Gina
We're going to check out the hottest headlines from the RAV newsroom with T. Bates this Freedom Friday. Also later, who's to blame for no peace deal between Russia and Ukraine? President Trump faults one side more than the other. Yeah, we're going to talk about it. That's next on American Sunrise.

New York, New York. Best pizza in the world right there in Manhattan. Bleecker street pizza go there for sure. Gina's right about 94% of the time, but she's wrong on pizza. I'm sure she'll have a rebuttal later in this show. Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. All right, coming up, the Nobel Peace Prize. It's for Maria Karina Machado. No, it's not. She gave it to Trump. We'll talk about it in a moment. First, though, tbates standing by with the latest headlines from the Real America's Voice newsroom sponsored by amac.
Terrence Bates
The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can right the course of America. President Trump is set to participate in a roundtable on investing in Rural Health this afternoon. The sit down comes after the administration unveiled its health care plan on Thursday. The President's proposal is aimed at lowering drug prices and insurance premiums. The Great Health Care Plan, as it's called, also calls on Congress to codify the President's most favored nation drug price policy, which keeps the US in line with the rest of the of the world when it comes to drug pricing.
Tracy Anthony
This plan, once put into legislative text and passed by Congress and sent to the President's desk, will stop sending big insurance companies billions of an extra taxpayer funded subsidy payments and instead send that money directly to eligible Americans to allow them to buy the health insurance of.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Their choice through you may have heard.
Tracy Anthony
It be referred to as health Savings Accounts. Whether that ends up being the actual name of such a accounts we'll have to see again Congress and the White.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
House are going to work together to.
Tracy Anthony
Put this plan into action.
Terrence Bates
The White House is promising that every American with health care will see costs go down under this proposal. Charlie Kirk's accused assassin is due back in court today. However, overshadowing the hearing is the latest request from the 22 year old suspect's defense team asking the judge to to disqualify the prosecutors in the case. The defense argues that prosecutors in Utah county attorney's office have personal ties to the case, which, which causes serious concern about past and future prosecutorial decision making. They also argue that the rush to seek the death penalty against the 22 year old accused shooter is evidence of, quote, strong emotional reactions by prosecutors which merit disqualifying. At issue are text messages from the child of a deputy county attorney who attended the rally where Kirk was killed. Those messages reportedly describe the chaos that ensued following the shooting. The judge overseeing the trial could rule on the defense's request as soon as today. And Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Maria Karina Machado shares her medal with President Trump during a meeting with the commander in chief at the White House. Here's a picture of the duo together. While President Trump has declined to endorse her to lead her country forward, Machado was still very complimentary of the US President, saying she thinks he deserves the prize. She, of course, points to the president's move to oust former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, saying that his work to depose a man who she calls a tyrant is one of the many reasons he deserves, deserves the honor. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony joining us now with the very latest on what you can expect from coast to coast. We're also going to put up that QR code at the bottom of your screen there you see it? You can scan that QR code and join our friends over at Weather nation. Titi, good morning.
Tracy Anthony
Hey, good morning, Terrence. This video had me wondering, do you still have your Christmas tree up?
Terrence Bates
I do. Hopefully this weekend? Well, nah, but we got a lot going on this weekend, so I'm not going to even fool myself. It probably will be up at least another week.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Yeah.
Tracy Anthony
These animals having fun with the Christmas tree. And, you know, really across the country, it's actually going to finally feel like winter because we've had some very warm air to kind of start off January. But now we're finally feeling that Arctic chill all the way down here to South Florida. So we do have freeze warnings and cold air advisories that are in fact in effect for this morning. When I woke up this morning for work, the feel like temperature was 29 degrees. So we're talking about that wind chill as we have several systems that are going to work across the Central Plains out across the East Coast. Now we're also expecting winds gusting up to 70 miles per hour across the plains. So that's going to bring almost whiteout conditions and kick up fire danger for areas like Colorado, Kansas, all the way down through Central Texas. So it's going to be a very active and very chilly week. But want to give you a preview on next Monday. The wind chill values are pretty cold this morning, but by early next Monday, we are talking about wind chill values 20, 30 below and wind chill values down in the teens as far south as Florida. So we've got another push of this cold air headed our way.
Terrence Bates
Terrence, not looking forward to any of that, Tracy. All right. Appreciate it. You know what I am looking forward to, Tracy?
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
What?
Terrence Bates
You know, our hometown forecast next hour. Can't wait. We'll check back with you then, Tracy, for that home hometown forecast. By the way, you can be one of the recipients of the hometown forecast. Just go to our various social media sites, get a rumble, YouTube, let us know where you're hanging out and maybe you'll be one of the lucky recipients of Tracy's hometown forecast. Up next, though, all eyes are on Iran as President Trump continues to weigh his options there. Expert analysis on what you might be able to expect that's straight ahead right now though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this date in 1919, the 18th Amendment to the US Constitution was officially ratified. It bans the manufacture, sale and transportation of alcohol in the United States. The Prohibition era soon followed with the Volstead act enforcing the ban and America going dry on January 17th of 1920. However, however, the move fueled bootlegging and organized crime and in 1933 prohibition was repealed with the 21st amendment. We've got more American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes.

Joe Biden. What is that? I'll let you know. It's the Statue of Liberty. Joe Biden, clearly a loyal viewer every single morning. Welcome back everybody, to American Sunrise. All right, US Military assets are now moving into the Middle east as President Trump weighs potential action against Iran. Fox News reporting that at least one aircraft carrier is headed to the region and additional air, land and sea forces could soon follow. Missile defense systems may also be deployed to protect US Bases and Israel. Oh, I don't know if everybody in MAGA would like to hear that, but it's true. So let's discuss this with Gina and Terrence as we basically bat around this idea of when in the world T. Bates is Carmen Sandiego. No, that's where in the world. Sorry, when in the world is President Trump gonna do this? Terrence, I'm putting you on the spot. Is President Trump going to somehow some way attack Iran?
Terrence Bates
You know, I think he's taking the posture and he's pretty much said this, that he's waiting to see how all of this continues to play out.
David Brody
I think I'm putting you on the spot. I'm not asking you what he said. I read articles. I want to know what you think. I want to know what you think.
Terrence Bates
I really do think. I think that what he is saying is the truth. I think if we get more information that people are being hanged or that the violence really is. Temperature, as everyone likes to say, does kind of calm down. I think he's going to wait and he won't do anything. However, he is going to make sure that if Iran does attack any US Installation in that region, he's going to bomb the bejesus out of them. I guess I'm kind of on the fence. I still may not have fully answered your question, but that's just How I see it, I think bigger picture. Dr. Gina, he's waiting. I don't think that's necessarily what he wants to do. I don't think he necessarily wants to attack Iran. But in order to make a statement, particularly if they continue to be bad actors, which of course they historically have, then I think absolutely, he's going to drop the payload on them. Dr. Garrett?
Dr. Gina
Yeah. I think Trump often puts things out there sort of to float them and see what the response is, not just from whomever the subject matter is, but also from his base and the media and some of the rest of it. But in this case, I don't think that is true. I think in this case he is very serious and I think he is very willing to do it and I don't even think it will take a lot of to get him there. But I do think, David, something that you've said all the way along, this is going to change a lot if this happens. This will change a lot.
David Brody
And I agree with Eugenia because I think he's dead serious. And here's why. Well, a couple things. First of all, it's the Iranian protesters that are yearning for freedom and there's an opportunity here. And specifically he, President Trump is on record multiple times saying, if protesters are killed, you better watch out. Well, guess what? Protesters have been killed. You want to pick your number. 2,000, 10,000, 12,000. Some are saying upwards of 20,000 they've been killed. So, you know, President Trump is not gonna, I mean, if he doesn't do anything now, it's not gonna look good because he said if they're killed, then he's gonna do something. I think they're just getting in position. I think they're getting positioned to do something. That's obviously what seems to be the case.
Terrence Bates
And I get it. You're absolutely right. He has talked about those protesters being killed. But even more recently he's saying that now he's getting reports that the killing is stopped or is lessening. And so I do believe that he's waiting again. I think he's fully in position, fully ready to pull the trigger if need be. And if we get more reports that in fact the killings are happening. But I think he would rather a diplomatic solution if possible. Then again, having said that, I'm not so sure diplomacy is possible with a terroristic regime like Iran. All right, guys, moving on. President Trump, of course, meeting with Venezuelan opposition leader. Marina. Marina Karina Machado. Say that five times fast. Machado gave the Nobel Peace Prize to President Trump. At that meeting, you see the picture here. She also said the meeting with President Trump was extraordinary and historic. So what did you guys make of this meeting? What do you make of what's coming out of it? Dr. Gary?
Dr. Gina
Well, she wanted something. I mean, I'm not saying it wasn't noble. After all, she did get the Nobel Peace Prize. But I am saying that she really wants his endorsement. You know, she. But the problem with getting his endorsement is that he's already endorsed the vice president that is already acting there. So I don't think she's going to get anything from it except maybe a really nice handshake and friendship. I think probably if he had his druthers, President Trump would rather endorse her, but he is sticking with his word and keeping his former endorsement of her opponent. According to what I've read. Maybe you all have read something different. Part of the reason might also be for President Trump's decision not to change anything over because I guess her numbers aren't that great, even though she's vastly popular. I guess her support and ability to actually. When it's not that great.
David Brody
Yeah. And I think, you know, and Trump likes winners, as we know, and he, you know, he's gonna figure out what the best calculus is there. I mean, look, I don't want to be. Am I, am I gonna sound bad if I say this? I'll just say it. It's a kind of a suck up move. I'm sorry.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, kind of.
Terrence Bates
Kind of.
David Brody
It is. Oh, it's a full suck up move. I said it.
Terrence Bates
I'm with you.
David Brody
Okay, well, I was trying to be nice. Okay, so it's a total suck up move. And guess what? As Gina was alluding to, she's not going to get anything for the suck up move. I mean, if you're going to suck up, get something for it. But she ain't gonna get a darn thing out of this. So womp, womp to her. And by the way, on a separate technical note, the Nobel Peace Prize that she has is for 2025. President Trump took action in Venezuela in 2026. So I know it's a, I get the suck up aspect of it and I get the whole Venezuela, okay, it's all kind of together. But, but just so you know, technically that wouldn't be the case. It's not because of what he did in 2025, it's what he did in 2026 because I think he's gonna get the Nobel Peace Prize in 2026 and now will he get it two years in a row, so to speak. I don't know. I don't know. Just something to think about.
Dr. Gina
I still think she's probably a lovely lady. She really does have a very willing smile and is very sweet. Is she a pragmatist politically? Well, they all are or they wouldn't be where they are. And so, you know, but still, I do, I don't, I don't want to, I don't want to completely deplete her character just by pointing out the obvious that this was a suck up move.
David Brody
And I'm glad you said.
Public Investing Sponsor
So.
Terrence Bates
We all agree. Full suck up move.
Dr. Gina
The technical term we all learned in college journalism school. Suck up move.
David Brody
Right? That's right. And that's why I said it was kind of. I said it was kind of a suck, suck up move because I didn't want to totally trash her. We are trying to get her on this show after all. You know, I don't want my first question to be so tell me about the suck up move anyhow. All right, coming up. I got her. Oh, we're on my single. Hold on. Let me admire that. President Trump is putting whole milk back on the menu for school lunches. So what does that mean for the health of our children? We have an update next on American Sunrise.

Dr. Gina
Such a great riff right there. Even if it isn't country. I'll forgive you this time. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. Time now for today's health news sponsored by the Wellness Company. And under the microscope today, President Trump signed a bill bringing whole milk back into school lunches. This is very exciting for me. This bill that Trump signed overturned Obama era limits that since 2012 required only skim or low fat options which have tons of fillers add to the starches, make milk generally unhealthy. The new law lets schools in the national lunch program serve whole and 2% milk again and also expands non dairy alternatives that meet milk's nutrition standards. Officials say that change could take effect as soon as this fall, impacting about 30 million students nationwide. Even better for you though and what they won't let you do. Still in school lunches because I was at a MAHA event about this in Washington, D.C. with RFK Jr. They won't let farmers bring in milk, Right? Because the government has to pasteurize your milk before you can have it. That's what needs to change. I go to farmer's markets, I buy raw milk. You can actually even buy raw milk for your dog in a lot of feed stores and things like that. Raw cottage cheese, raw creamer, raw sour cream, all the things so healthy because it has all the healthy bacteria in it. For your dog. Yeah, it's for your dog. New administration in Washington, D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. However, there's a lot that you're going to have to do on your own because the government can't do everything. And we want to make America healthy again. So it starts at home with each of us. And that's where the welcome Wellness Company comes in. You hear from their doctors on this network and you know that their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy. The Wellness Company makes sure you are prepared for whatever happens with their series of prescription med kits. These kits have an assortment of life saving medications and guidebooks to assist in the use of these kits. Additionally, the Wellness Company offers a variety of products from parasite cleanses to methylene blue to weight loss and so much more. These can help you stay healthy and live a more satisfying life. Make America Healthy Again starts at home. Do your part. Protect the health of yourself and your family. Go to TWC Health RAV today and give it an order. That's TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV. It'll save you 10%, David.
David Brody
10%. Got it.
Dr. Gina
Do you Drink raw milk at home?
David Brody
No, but my son does.
Dr. Gina
Good for him.
David Brody
I know. Oh, he's on the whole thing. He's got every. And he lays guilt trips on me like every single day.
Dr. Gina
He should. He loves you. But you know what I did last night? I went to Applebee's.
David Brody
What did you do last night?
Dr. Gina
And I had that. I haven't been to Applebee's in 20 years. I'm not even kidding. I couldn't find it. It was like 30 minutes from my house. I went the wrong way. Anyway, I got that dippy cheeseburger. That om cheeseburger. It wasn't all that. I'm not going back anytime soon.
David Brody
Really?
Dr. Gina
No. Interesting. It was like my really bad indulgence for probably the year, but it wasn't that good. Okay, well, that's peanut butter cookies. Yeah, Peanut butter cookie.
David Brody
All right. By the way, Rav's own David Zier recently in Minneapolis. Gina. As we've been showing you this week, he was covering the anti ICE protests. And one clip of a protester that David was interacting with actually made it onto Jimmy Kimmel's late night show. Take a look at this.
Terrence Bates
But the protests in Minneapolis are real enough for the Magaverse media to descend upon them. This Fox wannabe channel called called Real America's Voice sent a reporter to the scene. Now stick with this because she's. The woman's kind of annoying at first, but it gets very funny as it goes along. I'm just trying to have an intelligent conversation. We're just trying to have an intelligent conversation. I don't act this way.
David Brody
You want to engage in intelligent conversation.
Terrence Bates
This is what we're dealing with on the ground, all over.
Trevor Comstock
That's right.
Terrence Bates
Actually, I'm very respectful and you're not respectful at all in any way. I just want to ask, do you.
David Brody
Believe in illegal immigration?
Terrence Bates
Do you think US taxpayers should be funding housing to illegals and medical care?
Dr. Gina
Man, he is so intelligent, this man.
Tracy Anthony
He's got nothing to say.
Dr. Gina
Back to you, Jeff.
David Brody
Where's her blue hair? For more, let's bring in the man himself, rap correspondent and the host of Breaking Point, which of course you can see on weekends here on Real America's Voice. That would be David Zier. David, you clearly have a new bff. Congratulations.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, and Comedy Central's Daily show also aired it the other night. They're doubling down.
David Brody
You know, Jimmy Kimmel and the Daily.
Terrence Bates
Show where only the most intelligent people get their news and they aren't funny. As they feature the coverage of unhinged leftist, angry white women at the Minneapolis Powderhorn park protest. They paint us as white right wing hacks, but all it did was show the rampant mental illness going on in the anti ice movement and on the left. Especially after we were attacked with my camera crew, with Brandon, by a crazed lunatic, unhinged mom in front of our children in a Minneapolis restaurant.
Dr. Gina
You know, I'm just. I'm sorry. You are height shamed, David. I know that is a particularly sensitive thing to you. Like, you know, we don't shame Terrence for his hair, we don't shame David for his need of makeup, and we don't shame you for your height. So I'm very sorry that happened to you, David. President Trump has been texting with New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdami. Despite their power public feud, Trump was calling him a commie. Well, that's original. And Mamdani calling Trump a fascist. Oh, so original, too. Axios reports the two have exchanged messages repeatedly. And Mamdami confirmed they spoke after a December meeting about affordable housing in New York. David. Okay, we love the president, but why does he always cut? You know, I remember when he had the little cuddle up with Newsom. I remember when he's had these. He does this. Why this, this guy is not. He's not worth President Trump's time. And I think Trump is a little busy.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, well, listen, politics makes strange bedfellows, like Shakespeare said. And listen, Trump said starting February 1, no payments will go to these sanctuary cities. And he's opening up an ICE facility just north of Manhattan that can hold 1500 people. That's coming soon. And remember, six and a half percent.
David Brody
Of new York City's budget comes from.
Terrence Bates
The federal, which represents about seven and a half billion a year in the 2026 fiscal year. So Mamdani has to be smart. And he's on the losing end here, potentially. And it's an interesting dynamic going on because Trump hated de Blasio. You know, I covered the Al Smith dinner last year, and he was, he was just ripping apart de Blasio here. But Mamdani's young, he's not as seasoned as Trump. And Mandani can only expose himself as the left wing kind of guy that he is. And you know, his housing commissioner last week, you know, she, she basically said that home ownership is a product of white supremacy, you know, and he's got this incredible administration there, you know, and all the free busing and stuff he wants to fund. He can't do it without that federal money.
Dr. Gina
They're not going to be besties, though. Can we all just agree to agree?
David Brody
Yes.
Dr. Gina
They're not going to be besties, Mr. President. I do love that about him. I love that he is forever hopeful that someone who is obviously a complete idiot might be smart one day. But they won't. David's here. Thanks for your time. And listen, stay away from those rabid white women. I don't know what you want to call them. Stay away from them.
Terrence Bates
It's the SSRIs.
David Brody
It's the SSRIs,. Chemical imbalances.
Dr. Gina
It's true. That is true. David Zier, thanks again. All right, listen. Coming up, Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey is calling to impeach DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. But what does he have to say about ICE funding? We have his comments right here, next on American Sunrise.
Emily Finn
Welcome back. Coffee pods are easy, but most of them are just caffeine and nothing else. Rejuvenate pods are built differently. They're clean pods infused with caakg, a compound linked to longevity, metabolism and deep cellular energy. It's the easiest way to get better focus, smoother energy and long term benefits without changing your routine. I choose them because they match the lifestyle. I want more energy, more clarity and more intention in how I start my day. If you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually supports the life you're building. Head to 1775 Coffee Com Rav and try rejuvenate pods today. Don't just drink coffee, rejuvenate. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it's time to stay awake, not woke. And who is woke today? Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey, who is calling for DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to be impeached and had this to say about ICE funding. Take a look.
David Brody
We, we can't reauthorize, reappropriate funding for ice.
Carefree Largo
We just can't do that. First of all, the funding is coming from cuts in Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care act, the Department of Education, the Environmental Protection Agency. That's where they're getting the funding in order to increase funding for ice. So no funding for ice. We just have to absolutely draw the line and not only say no funding for ice, but we should begin an impeachment proceeding of Kristi Noem, who is right now actually orchestrating on the streets of our country this, this almost vigilantism on the part of ICE agents terrorizing cities all across the country, with right now Minneapolis being the prime example.
Emily Finn
All right, let's now bring in Terrence. Dr. Gina and David. Terrence, want to go to you first on this one. You know, this kind of rhetoric, I think is so dangerous from elected officials and just inspires to see the kind of chaos that we're seeing take place in places like Minnesota. What's your take?
Terrence Bates
Yeah, they're just throwing something against the wall, hoping it will stick. It's become a political issue, not an issue of public policy and public safety more specifically. And I think even he knows he's off base, but he's hoping to appeal to his base, which tends to be against ICE and really any sort of law and order. And so it just doesn't make a whole lot of common sense, but it sounds good rhetorically, and it appeals to his base, even though it's not gonna go anywhere.
David Brody
David, that's pretty much the deal. I mean, it's not going anywhere. Kristi Noem's not gonna get impeached. She's a Democrat, and Democrats don't have control of the House. So womp, womp. Sorry, Edward. So there's that. And then as for the ICE situation, okay, so you're against enforcing federal law. That's basically what you're saying. That's wonderful for a congressman to take that stance. And, Gina, we always hear about open borders. Okay, so open borders, no ice, same thing. A distinction without a difference.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, but God forbid that some patriots want to support free and fair elections and go to their Capitol building in a protest, by all means, bring down the full arm of the law, the hammer, and throw them all in jail for years and torture them and drive them to suicide and all the rest of it. Kill a few along the way, and that's all fine. I mean, it just. Every time I hear them complain about ice, that's all I can think about is how they were just fine with what happened to our J6ers. They were just fine with the murder of Roseanne Boylan. And her name just blanked for me. Somebody help me. Her mother's name is Mickey. I can see your face. Ashley.
David Brody
Ashley Babbitt.
Dr. Gina
Ashley Babbitt. Thank you. And her mother's name, Mickey, always comes to me first. For some reason, I have to get to the Ashley something with my brain. But, you know, God bless Mickey for still standing. God bless all of those families. I think of the families of those who suicided and the rest of it, and it just galls me that, why was that? Why was that police brutality? So fine with the left? We're still not really doing any big investigations on Those people, they still walk free today and they still have jobs. One of them has a daycare that isn't even licensed that he's made tens of millions from. Somebody explain this to me. Somebody explain to me why does no one in the news media when they have them on these Alphabet soup news media, why does no one ask them these questions? I don't understand. I'd love to have them on. I would ask them. I would have the conversation. Maybe there's a good explanation.
Emily Finn
I believe you would get down to the bottom of it, Gina. All right, coming up, God and sovereignty. What can we learn from the Bible about those two words? The Bible history guy Jim Mosley explains next on American Sunrise.
David Brody
In the beginning, God created the heavens.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our moment of faith brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus today. God and sovereignty. Does God control our decisions or could he be in charge of the outcome of human history? Romans 8:29 uses words like foreknew and predestined. And a lot of people take that to mean that God chose winners and losers in advance. To break it all down for us now is one of our favorite guests, Jim Mosley. He of course also is the author of the book Discovering Jesus Disciples. Who they were, what they believed and what they achieved. He also is the co author of a book with our very own Dr. Gina the days of Creation by Heart, which teaches children how God made the world. Around here, though we simply call him the Bible history guy. Jim, good to see you.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
You.
Terrence Bates
Hi, Terence, Good to see you. All right, so look, apparently I missed this. Romans 8:29 in Vacation Bible study in Sunday school, I must have been absent that day. So please break it down for me.
David Brody
Okay, well let's see what it says. It says, whom God foreknew, he also.
Terrence Bates
Predestined to be conformed to the image of his son.
David Brody
So let's take that one piece at a time. Now, who did God for? Know? Was there anyone God didn't foreknow? Well, David answers that in Psalm 139 saying God saw David in his mother's womb. So God imagines each one of us before he creates us. And actually how could he do otherwise? Isaiah says God knows the end from the beginning.
Terrence Bates
So he also knows the beginning before.
David Brody
The end because he's the author of all things that began. So every person created by God is.
Terrence Bates
Created deliberately with foreknowledge, love and purpose.
David Brody
Okay, the next part of Romans 8:29. Predestination. Well, does that mean God fixed everyone's fate? No. The Greek word predestined is pro horizo.
Terrence Bates
Literally to set within limits or to design.
David Brody
So what did God design us to be? Well, Paul goes on to say, to.
Terrence Bates
Be conformed to the image of his son.
David Brody
Genesis says we're created in the image of God. Colossians says that Christ is the image of the invisible God. So in Christ, we see what we're meant to look like when we fully realize their potential. Christ's image is what God designed us to become. Become, but not what he forces us to become. God has free will in being made in his image. So do we. So God urges us to choose to be like Christ, our free will.
Terrence Bates
Choices are the key in the door to eternal life.
David Brody
God told Cain, sin is crouching at your door, but you must rule over it. Well, if Cain weren't free to choose, why would God give him that advice? So Romans 8:29 is about the great plans God has for us. And Jeremiah says the plans he has give us a future and a hope. So the Holy Spirit has infinite power.
Terrence Bates
To help you become all you can be.
David Brody
But the good news is the choice is yours.
Terrence Bates
And in that choice, it's also, I would imagine, about relationship. He wants you to be in his image, but also to let his image dwell within you. And I'm not trying to preach. You are the, you are the expert here. But that's my interpretation.
David Brody
I think that you're exactly right. Because when we become aligned with his image, we become aligned with him. The image isn't just the appearance or a mask.
Terrence Bates
It's the reality going right down into our soul. Very deep there. I should have paid more attention to vacation Bible study, but now, even in my latter years, I will finally get the message. Always good to see you, my friend. Good to see you as well, Terrence. Thanks so much for being here with us. We're back with the second hour of American Sunrise after this. Coming up on this second hour of American Sunrise, President Trump reveals his plan for lowering drug prices and insurance premiums as the debate over health care care once again takes over Capitol Hill. We'll talk about 47's latest affordability pitch for Americans straight ahead. Plus, the Department of Education is launching probes into 18 educational institutions regarding policies that allow biological men to compete in women's sports. This all comes as the Supreme Court considers cases on those policies. We'll have the fact for you. And then later, a new Republican led panel in the House of representatives kicked off its first hearing this week questioning why it took authorities five years to bring the suspected January 6th pipe bomber to justice. Those stories and so much more right now on this second hour of American Sunrise.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. the Swamp.
Tracy Anthony
Ooh.
David Brody
Let's bring in Dr. G and Wes Palm and T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning. My goal this weekend is for no breaking news to happen and to get seven to nine hours of sleep.
Terrence Bates
Gina.
David Brody
And not to spill anything on my white suit. Those are my two goals.
Dr. Gina
Well, I wanted to get up to redneck land in Florida. You go north in Florida to get southern. Just for the record, I know it's really confusing. I didn't understand that till I lived here. But I don't think it's gonna happen. So my goal is just gonna be to get warm. It's so cold here.
Terrence Bates
Okay, so what is cold?
Dr. Gina
Cold is 40 degrees, Terrence. In Florida, that's cold.
David Brody
That's cold.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, cold. That's cold. It's so cold, Terrence. It's so cold that our entire control room is whispering today. Cause their voices are all verklempt. You know this. They're all NPR in there.
Terrence Bates
They're like, oh, yeah.
Dr. Gina
I'm like, you guys, we're going to live through this. It's going to be okay.
David Brody
They need some more red hair.
Terrence Bates
Exactly. Because they definitely have a lot of it. All right. Well, we'll get your forecast here in just a moment, folks. In the meantime, President Trump out with his health care plan. The proposal is aimed at lowering drug prices and insurance premiums. The great health care plan, as it's called, also calls on Congress to codify the president's most favored nation drug price policy, which keeps the United States in line with the rest of the world when it comes to drug pricing. Charlie Kirk's accused assassin is due back in court today. Overshadowing the hearing, though, is the latest request from the 22 year old suspect's defense team asking the judge to disqualify the prosecutors in the case. The defense argues that prosecutors in the Utah county attorney's office have personal ties to the case, which corporate causes serious concern about past and future prosecutorial decision making, including the decision to seek the death penalty. And Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Maria Karina Machado shares her medal with President Trump during a meeting with the commander in chief at the White House. Here's a picture of the duo together. We're going to try to show it to you. There you see them. While President Trump has declined, declined to endorse her to lead her country forward, Machado was still very complimentary of the US President, saying she thinks he deserves the prize. That's a quick check of your headline. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by with your hometown forecast. Tracy, before we get to the hometown forecast, I'm curious, have you seen any falling iguanas yet? Dr. Gina just talked about it being 40 degrees. I don't know. It was what temperature. The iguanas start to fall out of the trees down there in South Florida, but I'm sure we're coming up on it.
Tracy Anthony
You know, typically the temperatures have to be just under 40 degrees. So that's kind of that tipping point. In West Palm beach, we got down to about 42. Now our temperatures are climbing again, but areas inland definitely a lot cooler. Terence, I did see an iguana fall from the tree earlier this week, but I don't think that was because of the cold weather. And, and the thing ran right back up the tree. So maybe not the brightest bulb in the bunch, but if you're in Florida, you are going to have at least nice warm daytime highs or at least comfortable as we're going to be in the 60s and 70s. We do have a little cool down once again into Monday and Tuesday. So early next week, like to fly braced for some of those cooler temperatures coming back through now. Wilbur, North Carolina, 40 degrees for your daytime high. We're going to warm up into Saturday again. We're also bracing for that big push of cool air early next week. So enjoy the mix of sun and clouds. Tea party girl here for the weekend. And Pittsburgh, this is where we do have several systems that will roll on through. We're also going to have those temperatures dropping down into the single digits. And that means windchill values will be subzero early next week. But also want to get get everyone out the door with a look at your daytime highs because I know a lot of us have started on the chilly side. But at least here across the south, we'll rebound with some comfortable afternoon temperatures and a lot of us will have some sunshine. So that is definitely some good news. And Terrence, you guys are finally feeling a little more seasonable and a little cooler on your end?
Terrence Bates
Yeah, it's starting to get a little cooler, but I was super comfortable last week. Temperatures in the 50s and 60s. I was so happy I was skipping in and out of work. Not so much this weekend, Tracy. Have a great weekend.
David Brody
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
There you go. That was me. Hey, it's so nice outside.
Tracy Anthony
I can picture it now.
Terrence Bates
All right, we'll talk to you next week, Tracy. Have a great weekend. Let's get you over to David now. David, I have to admit, at this age, anytime I skip, my knee tends to flare up and my bursitis and my arthritis into flare up. It ain't pretty. I had fun in the moment and then I paid for it later.
David Brody
Yeah, we gotta get to that Warm weather. West Palm, except not today, apparently. President Trump has announced a new health care affordability framework, promising lower drug prices, lower insurance costs, and relief for families feeling the pinch of rising health care bills. The White House is calling it the Great Health Care Plan ghp. I don't know. I just made that up. As Republicans face growing pressure over soaring premiums and expired ACA tax credits, and with midterm elections fast approaching, the president is urging Congress to act on his plan immediately. And here he is with some of that announcement. Take a look. Instead of putting the needs of big corporations and special interests first, our plan finally puts you first and puts more money in your pockets.
Carefree Largo
The government is going to pay the.
David Brody
Money directly to you.
Terrence Bates
It goes to you, and then you.
Carefree Largo
Take the money and buy your own health care. Nobody's ever heard of that before. And that's the way it is.
David Brody
The big insurance companies lose and the.
Carefree Largo
People of our country win.
David Brody
All right, let's talk about this more. Joining us with reaction is Texas Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne. Congresswoman, always great to see you. I'm curious to get your take on the president's plan. And by the way, I have a priority, our suggestion in Congress, you need to call it the Great American Health Care Act. Gaha. Why not?
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
I think, I think the president is going to name is going to name his own bill. He does not take suggestions like that well. But look, I think he's doing the right things. If you look at it, they're going after the pharmaceutical companies that have been gouged the American people for years. They are trying to cut out the bureaucracy in the middlemen they are looking at giving premiums directly to individuals so that they can purchase their own insurance insurance. And they're adding additional transparency, which has been necessary for so long, adding that clear language so people know what they're buying for. I think we need to take it a step further. I look at these mega associated health care plans that really add more competition, allowing people to go to Costco and purchasing what they want as opposed to having to go through their employer. I think that's going to be really necessary. More competition, decreased cost. And if anything, what we have found through this entire exercise is how unaffordable the Affordable Care act was. How it is just strewn with, with waste, fraud, abuse and continuing to go after that waste, fraud and abuse from the Affordable Care act and making sure that insurance companies aren't getting paid for, for, you know, to have patients that they don't even know that they've got, that they've got coverage. That is another way of being able to decrease costs. So I think, you know, you're seeing the president come out with a great bill right now. I think Congress is going to continue working on this. Speaker Johnson has been very clear. The next six months we're going to be focused on, focused on decreasing the healthcare costs while increasing quality and access and patients rights and their relationship with their doctors. That's what we're going to be focused on.
Terrence Bates
Congresswoman, I realize that it's still early, the bill or the proposal just coming out, but are you able to gauge the sort of appetite that you and your colleagues have for this sort of proposal? And beyond that, what kind of timeframe? I heard you say six months. Is that about how long you think it's going to take for it to really gain some traction and get a vote? Or would it be something even longer? And I realize it, again, this is a pretty significant bill.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
I think we can do it in steps and I think this is a great first start. I think the president is right on. I think what he's brought up is these are various bills that Republican Congress members have introduced over the years. I think they're excited to get started on it. I just said the six months because I just know that the speaker has said the first two quarters of this year year we're going to be coming out with additional health care plans. So whether or not it's going to be one big beautiful health care plan or whether or not it's going to be in steps, that's for leadership to decide. But this is something I came into Congress to work on. I have had a number of different health care bills, including expanding people's ability and flexibility for their health care savings plans. I think that's going to be very important that they're able to put more money away tax free to be able to spend on their health care costs. And these are the bills that we have already introduced. I'm looking forward to working on the president's plan, but also on furthering it.
Dr. Gina
Well, Congresswoman, turning now to the Clintons, sorry about that. I'll apologize ahead of myself here. The House Oversight Committee will vote next week on holding both Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress after both failed to appear to testify in the investigation on Jeffrey Epstein. I have a feeling I know where you stand on this vote, so I'm not going to sound dumb and ask. But you know, I guess what amazes me is the hypocrisy of your colleagues who would gladly vote for patriots like Steve Bannon to stand in contempt. But it's a whole different story when it comes to the Clintons.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
No, you're absolutely right. The hypocrisy is astounding. How many years ago were we hearing no one is above the law. No one's above the law. And you're right, Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, you know, these were all people who, who served in jail time because they did not appear before Congress with a subpoena. That's exactly what the Clintons are threatening to do. And you've got Democrats who are defending them left and right. They've got answer, they've got questions to answer and they should respond just like any other person, you know, would would need to to a subpoena. So we're looking forward to having them come in front of Congress. I think Chairman Comer has been very strong in his directive and we'll see where it goes. But you're right, it's absolutely astounding. Nobody's above the lot unless it's Biden, unless it's Clinton, unless it's one of our friends and then, well, we'll make exceptions, right?
David Brody
Well, but Congresswoman, I was told by the liberal media that the Democrats care a lot about what goes on with Epstein and all of this. They want to get to the bottom of it it so they want full transparency.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Why are you protecting people? Exactly right. Let's, if you were going to hold that standard, then let's hold that standard. It is obvious that Bill Clinton was very good friends with Epstein, had, had traveled with him extensively, whereas at event after event they had a Personal relationship of some sort. Come and answer these questions. If you want transparency, if you want to find out what happened, come and answer these questions. It's, this is a no brainer and hopefully better heads will prevail. But in the five years that I've been in Congress, I haven't seen it all the time.
David Brody
Yeah. By the way, we have 30 seconds. Just real quick. President Trump met with the Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Machado yesterday. She actually presented the President with the Nobel Peace Prize, her Nobel Peace Prize as, quote, a recognition for his unique commitment with our freedom. I'm curious to get your take on, on that.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
I think it's a great, I think she knows exactly what works when talking to this president. You know, I don't know that it's transferable, but I appreciate the effort, I appreciate the thought. And Nobel should really start, you know, that committee should really start thinking about who is achieving peace in this, in this world. I think peace through strength is what the President is showing. He has to had conflict after conflict that he has been able to get involved in and take care of and get peace out of it. I think what he's doing in Venezuela is fantastic. And I think she was, she was smart in the way that she approached working with this president.
David Brody
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
All right, Congresswoman, I'm going to ask the question that nobody else is going to ask, but I'm going to put it out there. Was she sucking up? Yes or no?
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Oh, no. I think she's smart. I mean, you come, you see, you're not going to come in demand. You are in the White House, you're talking to President Trump. And I think she is actually appreciative of the fact that they have this horrible, brutal regime and that the, the, the United States is the one who's come, came in and removed the head of it. I think she's showing legitimate appreciation and for good reason.
Dr. Gina
See that diplomacy is the reason she's in Congress and we're all sitting here on a TV set.
Terrence Bates
Exactly. Because we all agree. We all were like, she was sucking up. She was absolutely sucking up. Yeah. All right.
David Brody
Thanks for being Congresswoman.
Terrence Bates
Thank you.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Stay warm. Stay warm and have a great weekend.
Dr. Gina
You too.
Carefree Largo
All right.
David Brody
You too. Sounds good. Coming up, the Department of Education is launching a massive investigation into multiple schools who have policies that allow biological men to compete in women's sports. Details.
Public Investing Sponsor
Moment.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are fleshing out woke gender ideology. The Department of Education is Launching investigations into nearly two dozen schools and universities over policies that allow biological males to compete in women's athletics. The Education Department's Office for Civil Rights says it is examining whether these policies violate Title ix, the federal law designed to protect women's fairness and equal access in education. The investigations span K12 schools and colleges in 10 states, including California, New York, and Pennsylvania. And just as the Supreme Court considers cases that could redefine the future of trans athlete policies nationwide. For more, let's bring in David Brody, Terrence Bates, and Dr. Gina. David. I think it's about time that we have some more common sense on this topic.
David Brody
Yeah, and it's also about time that parents are going to have to come to decisions about where they want to send their kids to either school or college or, you know, high school, K12, whatever it is, because you're gonna have to think about what state do you want to live in. In other words, if you've got a really good athlete in your family, you know, you're like, wow, that my daughter's got potential. Well, sadly, the next question needs to be, do I need to get out of California? Do I need to go to Florida? Do I need to go to Texas? I mean, for the best shot for my daughter to get a scholarship, potentially play professionally, whatever, or just vitality of life, if you will. I mean, these are real questions that we didn't have to ask X amount of years ago. Gina. And I'll just leave the X as I won't fill in the blank on the X amount of years. Gina.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I still can't get over that hearing where that doctor couldn't answer 12 times in a row whether or not a woman, a man rather, could have a baby. You know, you just look at that and you just think, wow, what have we. What kind. What level of brainwashing is happening in our universe? Universities that a doctor who, by the way, delivers babies doesn't know whether or not.
David Brody
Well, she knows the answer. She knows the answer, but she's willing.
Dr. Gina
To sit there in front of a national audience and lie. David. In front of our. In our nation's cabinet. I mean, it's just the whole thing, Terrence. Just. Just an abomination. Honestly. That's the pit of hell right there.
Terrence Bates
No, absolutely. And back to the point of men and women's sports, I think it's also about time that we, as parents. Parents. Stand up in those situations and band together as parents. Particularly I'm a dad girl, you know, and I'm gonna stand up if a.
Dr. Gina
Boy, my daughter swims. You're a girl dad. Not a dad.
Carefree Largo
Girl.
Dr. Gina
Wasn't gonna say it.
Tracy Anthony
Gina, I'm happy that you did.
Emily Finn
I was like, oh, no.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Oh, no.
Emily Finn
We're gonna have to let him know.
David Brody
Hey, Terrence, here's the good news. At least we pay attention to what you say.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. And I appreciate it. Yes. A girl dad. My daughter. Sway limbs. And if there were a boy to be swimming against my daughter, particularly in a competition in which my daughter were to qualify for something or. Or where there was really something at stake, I would stand up, and I would expect the other fathers and mothers of the girls in that competition to stand up and say, no, we're not going to stand for this. We're not going to allow that. Unfortunately, they won't. But, you know, here's what I say, David. I can't worry about what anybody else does. I can respect for me, and hopefully, if I'm responsible and people see me standing up for what's right, they'll join in.
Emily Finn
Yeah, that's right.
David Brody
Good for you.
Dr. Gina
Listen, and as a former Californian, I'll just say this. You know what? Let the chips fall. Just let them fall. Emily, what you said, you know, people may have to move to other states. We've done it, right?
Emily Finn
Yeah, Exactly. Yeah. And thank God we got out of California. Gina.
Dr. Gina
Yeah.
Emily Finn
Craziness. And, Terrence, I have to say, you are a great girl dad.
Dr. Gina
Yes. A girl dad.
Emily Finn
A girl dad. And I am a dad.
Public Investing Sponsor
Girl.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
A dad.
Emily Finn
Daddy's girl. Love my dad. Yes. We're getting all the terms right.
Dr. Gina
We're getting them all. Ish.
Terrence Bates
All right.
Emily Finn
Coming up on American Sunrise. Country music has fully embraced the maga movement, at least according to Rolling Stone. We'll talk about the cultural shift happening in the country music scene after the break. Stay with us.
Carefree Largo
All right.
David Brody
And it's a great day to be alive I know the sun's still shining.
Dr. Gina
When I close my eyes.
Terrence Bates
Shout out to Nashville, country home. Excuse me. Of country music. Jamming out a little bit for Dr. Gina this morning. We're also getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It is set to ring here. Looking at my clock in about seven minutes. Minutes. And we, of course, will take you there. Here's a quick look at the futures. As you can see, our board is green at the very top. The major indices, dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ. Looking good. Crude oil also looking good. A couple of blemishes, though. We'll of course, get you Updated and let you know how the actual trading day looks once the bell rings. We'll take you there momentarily. First, though, let's get you over to David. David, good morning.
David Brody
Okay. Good morning, Tbates. Country music. Let's keep with that theme. It's striking a very different tune these days, at least according to Rolling Stone. Nationals Music row now openly embracing maga. And it's proving to be good for business. From Chris Jansen's shift from fix a drink to pro Trump anthems, to major stars performing at inaugurations, Mar a Lago events, and conservative rallies, they say country music is no longer hiding from politics. As the culture shifts and conservative audiences grow, more vocal artists and labels are following the market. For more, let's bring in our resident country music expert. That would be Dr. Dr. G. Dr. G. You know, to me, it all makes sense. I mean, of course, conservatives and country music go together. I mean, where's the liberal song? Like, I went to an ice rally and I got arrested. I mean, like, there's no, like, liberal. Like, where's the. You're not hearing that song. I'm sorry.
Dr. Gina
That was literally the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life. Sarah Brody, I adore you. Now, I know you guys give me a lot of trouble about being pro country music. I want to tell you, it wasn't until I much older in my life within the last, really 10 years, that I became a country music fan. I just want you to know that I was all hip hop and, I don't know, pop and hip hop. That was my jam. But I finally realized that my values, just like this article is talking about, my values are in country music. So I actually started paying attention and listening. I rejected it because. Because it's what my parents listened to. It's what my hometown. I'm from the Ozarks. Everyone loved country music. I was not gonna be like I was raised to be. Right. Cause I was a little rebel. But I realized that my values are country music values. And I think all that's happened here about country music embracing MAGA is that that's who they are. It's naturally who they are. It is the fiber of America that is reflected in country music, and that is reflected. Reflected in conservative values. That's all this is simple common sense. This was bound to happen. It's just natural. It all fits together like, you know, hand in glove.
David Brody
Yeah. So country music values. So expand on that a little bit. So patriotism, obviously, America, but does it go beyond that? I mean, it just seems I Mean, that has to be the core. I'm assuming that's where it begins.
Dr. Gina
I love that. What I've realized about country music is. Cause it's story. It's story about Americana. You know, people make fun of, you know, yeah, my dog died and my, you know, whatever, whatever. And that's all true. That's all there. But I think that. And I've tried to talk President Trump into loving country music to the degree I love country music, because I've just fallen in love with country music. So it's a very passionate love. You know, it's like a new love. We're still in the honeymoon phase, country music and me. But I've met the country art here, you know, and that's because they've come here because they love the president. And so what it is, is it's American story. It's the story of, you know, hey, we're all dust. We all came from dust. Well, returned to dust. But for God, it's, hey, Lord, you know, I kind of fell out with my girl, and it's hurting my heart a little bit. I might have a little drink because I'm human, but I'm coming back to you, Jesus. You know, that's kind of some of the themes, you know, and the positivity about it, too. People love to talk about, well, you know, all the sad things country music talks about. But Travis Tritt, It's A Great Day to Be Alive. I remember riding down the street when I was just discovering all this with my son, and he was riding on a bicycle in front of me, and he was waving his hands. It's a Great Day to Be Alive. And we are just driving through the neighborhood loving Travis Tritt. Loving that song. Listen, that's maga.
David Brody
Yeah. Can we pump this up a little bit? What song is this? Is this Travis Tritt?
Dr. Gina
Yes, this is. This is. It's a Great Day to Be Alive. What much more positivity can you have than that? Thank you, Travis Tritt.
David Brody
Yes. You know, and here's the thing, you know, I'm not gonna be able to ask a question. We should just listen to this. The rest of it. Listen, we have about 30, 40 seconds left.
Terrence Bates
What?
David Brody
Let's just listen to it. No, here's my question. Well, it's not really a question, but it's like, okay, so they got the pickup trucks, they got dogs and beer and all that type of stuff. And the thing is, is, like, that's just like America. And yet the liberals go on stage and, you know, Kamala comes out with Beyonce or somebody twerking on stage. It's like, wait, that's. And it doesn't work with voters too, by the way. We got 20 seconds.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
It's the show.
Dr. Gina
What do you got to say about that? It's the weakness of a lot of other music that finally turned me away from it. It's because it's talking about sex and drugs. And listen, you can glorify sex and drugs all you want. It will never fulfill you the way that God and family and country will fill you. And by the way, having a dog and a beer.
David Brody
And a pickup truck.
Dr. Gina
And a pickup. I have a pickup truck.
David Brody
I'm sure you do. All right. And I'm very shallow, by the way. I like Broadway musicals. So there you go.
Dr. Gina
I like that too. But I like the old stuff because that is American fiber. I am so tired of them trying to change our culture by music. And that's what's great about Broadway and country.
David Brody
We gotta go. Who cares about the bell? Let's talk about country music. RIT Bates, over to you.
Terrence Bates
Sponsored by amac, the association of mature American citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can write the course of America. No, the applause isn't for me. It's for the opening bell, which is set to ring here in short order. And then we'll get an idea of how this Friday of trading is going to look. Tech Create is at the podium. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The markets are now officially open and those first sales and the first buys are being put in on this final day of trading of the week.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Week.
Terrence Bates
Excuse me. Here's a quick look at how things are shaping up. The Dow S P 500 and the NASDAQ are all up right now. The rest of the board, kind of a mixed bag with oil being also in the green right now. We'll of course continue to monitor all of this for you throughout the day. In the meantime, we're only a few weeks into winter and already brutal cold, huge snowstorms and of course power outages aren't a thing. Think about this. The though if the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm? This is a real problem for so many Americans. Winter power outages can even be life threatening like in Texas just a few years ago. That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta. Are getting a Vesta off grid heater from my Patriot Supply. It's a space heater that doesn't use electricity or propane. It actually runs on something called K and Heat, which is an indoor safe fuel. With a Vesta stashed in your closet, you know that you can keep warm no matter what happens. It even doubles as a stove to cook your food, which, of course, is really cool. The best part is right now you can get the Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts. When you order the winter survival kit from my Patriot Supply, go to my patriotsupply.com and see everything that's included in this deal. This offer won't last long, so go to my patriotsupply.com rav today that's mypatriotsupply.com rav all right. Let's take a quick break. When we come back, though, a new GOP led House panel holds its first hearing and reopens the pipe bomb case and reignites debate over the events of January 6th. We've got that story after the break.
Dr. Gina
Well, pay attention to the show, Gina, because you have a job to do and you shouldn't be in there reading in the chat, but you, you should be there watching the show in the chat with us because we love to chat with you. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation, as I said on YouTube, getter and rumble and of course, our RAV ambassador site as well. Time now to take the political pulse of America. Here's The Beat Today, five years after the events of January 6, the political fight over what really happened, it's far from over, guys. And now it's moving back into the hearing room. A new Republican led House subcommittee has held its first hearing, promising to reexamine January 6 questions, the FBI investigation and revisit the pipe bomb case. Remember that? With lawmakers questioning why it took half a decade to bring the suspect in for questioning, Chairman Barry Loudermilk says the goal is truth without political bias. But Democrats claim the panel risks rewriting history, actually rewriting their laws and shifting blame away from the former President Donald Trump, who, of course, is the current President Trump. But anyway, the hearing, who's counting, right? The hearing quickly turned into a broader debate over demonstration at the Capitol itself, with lawmakers, former Federal prosecutors and January 6 figures in the audience reigniting a national argument that shows no signs of cooling down. Because, you know, hey, they're wrong. That's the problem. Joining us now with reaction is the host of Cowboy Logic here on rav. The woman behind so much of what has made this argument public to begin with from her show. Good morning, Donna. Donna, I had dinner with Rob Morse last night at Applebee's. Yeah. With a. What is it?
Terrence Bates
Did you get riblets?
Dr. Gina
No, I got that dippy cheeseburger thing. The OM cheeseburger. A little overrated. I didn't love it. But he had the Chicken Fiesta something something that was also a special two for $25, by the way. And he loved it, Donna. You know, it is you.
Terrence Bates
You get what you pay for, Donna.
Dr. Gina
No, he loved it. He's like, I'm sure this is the most unhealthy thing I've eaten this year. The guy is, you know, he's not an outsider.
Donna
I'm sure it's the best meal he's had given the four years he spent in food.
Dr. Gina
That's what he said. That's another point. Great point, Donna. He said, you know what? For four years, I sat there and I ate food that I didn't want to eat that tasted horrible. And I am so thankful that he is one of the most Christ inspired people I've ever known.
Donna
Lego Man. Lego Man. We have our Legos right here on the set.
Dr. Gina
That's right. Okay, Donna, with this whole thing, just real quick, thank you. Just thank you for what you have done to keep national attention on this issue. Go ahead.
Donna
Well, we try. And I'm wearing this because, you know, 78%, I think, of the folks that were arrested on January 6th were military or first responders. So I just thought I'd be kind of a little casual Friday. And we do love our first responders, especially those of us who were there on 9 11. But here's the thing that they're trying to do, guys, is they're trying to divert attention from Donald Trump now and they're blaming the 14 people that were commuted and not pardoned. Mostly proud boys and Oath Keepers. And this is so wrong. Troy Nels got up there and said, well, they all left early and went over to the Capitol to start that riot. You know, I hate to say it, Congressman Nels went to the D.C. gulag and the guys knew something was going to happen because. Because all of a sudden everything got cleaned up. This is some behind the scenes stuff that we've talked about on our show. So when he got there, he said, oh, you know, these conditions aren't all that bad. And he kind of left in a huff. And he's had it in, in my opinion, for the Jan sixers I don't know why he's on this committee, but the bottom line is I kind of wrote him an email that afternoon saying that he was mistaken. It was cleaned up first. And he went on John Solomon's show that afternoon and said, well, you know, it did kind of of smell like Clorox and it had been cleaned up. So he backtracked things. But the double standard is crazy. I honestly, guys don't even care about the pipe bomber. But now you have the CIA saying we need four years to look into January 6th. I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think the CIA is supposed to do anything on American soil. And remember Shawnee Kirchhoff, the first pipe bomber? The first pipe bomber. She was a Capitol police officer on January 6th. There's video of her firing down on the crowd, which is, again, I'm not a police officer, but I know that's not what you do. You don't fire down on the heads of people and injure them. And apparently now she has a job at the CIA. So there's just too much phoniness going on here. Now, Harriet Hageman, God bless her, she took Liz Cheney's place in Congress. She was not really there on January 6th. So in my opinion, she had the best overall view of what was going on. And I'm just wondering, though, with what we've seen the last couple of weeks and how the mainstream media is basically praising all of the unrest and the rioting going on in Minnesota, Did Tim Walls get up there and say, let's peacefully and patriotically march? I don't think so.
David Brody
Exactly.
Donna
I don't think so.
David Brody
Great point.
Donna
I don't know, but they're trying to pin this on the Oath Keepers. The Oath Keepers were there to protect. They were there protecting Roger Stone among other people. And I think you yourself, Dr. Gina.
Dr. Gina
Yes.
Donna
They did not leave and go up there and incite a riot. The riot was incited because the police, the Metro Police, the Capitol Police, were shooting rubber bullets and tear gas down on the crowd. It was windy, and they were too stupid to figure out where the wind was blowing. It blew back in their faces. So they got hit by the same stuff they were throwing in there. And that, to me, is the reason that they don't want to release those 44,000 hours. They don't want to show that they were wrong. And the scenario for five years of these people drinking the Kool Aid that live in D.C. still want the same scenario to continue, they're not going to right this wrong, in my opinion. They got to get more forceful.
Dr. Gina
I will never forget, Donna was walking back to the Trump Hotel after giving my speech with Roger Stone. Exactly what you're talking about. And Antifa was closing in on the crosswalk and they were going to attack us. And I had one or two of my children with me and the proud boys came up and intervened and literally saved us. And that was that same week. So, Donna, you're absolutely right about that and it's disgusting. And I know that on your show you'll be talking about this, but that fraud that has to be taking place with the daycare center, with the killer of Ashley Babbitt, that is so disgusting. And I hope that you'll be talking about that this weekend. We're out of time, Donna.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
I'm so sorry.
Donna
Well, yeah, unfortunately, Michael Byrd is still a free man, but there is no statute of limitations on murder. So, yes, we will be discussing J6, definitely on cowboy logic this Saturday and Sunday.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
See you then.
Dr. Gina
Thanks, Donna.
David Brody
All right.
Dr. Gina

Joining us with more is the CEO of Sacred Human, Trevor Comstock. Good morning.
Trevor Comstock
Hey, Dr. Gina, how you doing?
Dr. Gina
I'm doing well, thanks. Tell us more.
Trevor Comstock
Yeah, so I just wanted to come on today and mention that we did just launch our newest product, which is our, our sacred healing salve. And it's already been selling super fast and we're doing our best to make sure that it stays in stock. But again, the feedback we've been getting already has been amazing. So I'm very happy about it and it's quite a, quite a new product. But for those who don't know, it is handmade with in small batches and organic ingredients. And like all of our other products, there's no artificial additives or anything unnatural within it. So again, a little background. What really makes the product so effective is due to the organic comfrey which is the main ingredient. And comfrey has been around for centuries to support things like pain relief, inflammation, bruising and even tissue repair. So it essentially helps your body repair and recover as opposed to just masking the discomfort. And a lot of people love to use it on things like if you have sore muscles or joint pain, sprains, swelling as well as arthritis support. So you essentially it's like a balm. So you just take a little bit, you rub it onto any area of your body that needs relief. And then we also paired the comfrey with other nourishing herbs to help spray soothe things like cuts, scrapes and also burns. And also if you have insect bites, it works great in that scenario as well.
Dr. Gina
So, so good to have around the house.
Trevor Comstock
What's that?
Dr. Gina
So good to have around the house?
David Brody
Yeah.
Trevor Comstock
100 and yeah, it's a very powerful and versatile product and like I mentioned, it's just great if you do have things like, or if you need it for like muscle recovery, joint stiffness, if you have bruising, it works to bring that down pretty fast. Chest itching and then the minor cuts and a little bit definitely goes a long way. I had a sore neck because I slept on it the wrong way and I rubbed it on and within a day my neck felt so much better. So I can't say enough about it. And if you do want to compare it to like a lot of other pain creams on the market, those are usually petroleum based and just have a ton of synthetic ingredients, whereas ours is just clean and organic and just and designed to support real healing and not just temporary relief. So. So it's made by the same folks that help us make the grass fed tallow moisturizer and they do a great job. And again they're working around the clock to make sure that we can keep both those products in stock as obviously our tallow moisturizer has become one of our number one products. So like I said, if you have any questions, just let us know. There's no reviews yet on the new comfrey just because it's such a new product. We just started selling it last week. But of course if you have any questions you can just shoot us an email.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. And you know the great thing about these products is that your body immediately knows how to use them. It's not like chemicals where your body has to kind of try to figure out like what am I supposed to do with this? These are things that feel natural to our bodies. So they're gonna absorb better, they're gonna absorb more deeply. Right. Isn't that sort of the motive behind all of this?
Trevor Comstock
Yeah, 100%. And that goes for all of our products. I mean, our whole mission is to make sure that not only everything's produced right here in the USA and not outsource everything to China like a lot of other companies do. But we only use natural ingredients that your body can actually recognize. And of course, we never add any preservatives or anything unnatural to our products. So we stand by that. That's our mission, is to give you like the raw natural ingredients at the best price possible.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Well, Trevor Comstock, thank you so much for being with us.
Trevor Comstock
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Dr. Gina
Have a good weekend. Coming up, we're checking in with you. That's you, our audience, the RAV Chat raptors. And also speaking of country music, if I can just go a little farther on this from our last block, there's a lot of great stuff coming out from real America's music. Here's some of what that sounds like.
Terrence Bates
Let's spill some tea. Tea.
Emily Finn
Alright.
Dr. Gina
Let's spill some tea.
Emily Finn
Fueled by Artillery Tea company, the only America first veteran owned tea brand. And their mission, maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. No junk, just real tea. And here's the tactical each bag brews twice. Just go to artilleryteaco.com and use the code RAV for 10% off your first order. Again that website is artilleryteaco.com premium tea, mission driven and brewed for the brave. It is time now to spill some tea. And in the cup today our RAV Chat family. Joining us now with what you've all been talking about is RAV family member and chat room dweller, carefree Largo Carefree. Good morning. Always so excited to see you on the show. Tell us what's been happening in the chat.
Carefree Largo
Well, good morning. It's been an incredible week in the chat, mainly starting with Iran giving direct, direct threats against President Trump's life. There were so many people that responded in the RAV ambassadors and the chats to this that we kind of surmised it all down to one person in particular that we made our ambassador spotlight this week and that Stacey Crandall. Stacey had a salient thought that was shared throughout the chats that said they should solemn the mullahs in Iran. And so many people agreed with her. It was unbelievable. The other side of that story was that many people wanted the people of Iran to rise up, take control of their own situation, and set themselves on a path forward before the United States got too much further involved in that. So you can see that there's big interest on both sides of the story, mainly, I think, because of what's going on in Minneapolis right now. I think you'd have to agree that it's affecting things around the world right now.
Emily Finn
Certainly Carefree. And this video that we're showing on our screen right now, what happened to our very own David Zier? I mean, that was crazy.
Carefree Largo
It is absolutely insane that somebody like David Zier and the whole RAV crew would go out, put themselves on the line, you know, put themselves really out there for no other reason than to report the truth and to report what other people had to say. And you can see they were physically accosted. They were on. He was on Jimmy Kimmel the other night. He was on Comedy Central, I believe, last night. So real America's voice and David's ear is feeling the hand of God get the word out there, even though this lady tried to shut him down.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, this was.
Emily Finn
This was such a. Such a disturbing moment to see this woman kind of lose her mind. But another woman that loses her mind often is Ilhan Omar.
Carefree Largo
Careful free ill Han I am my brother's keeper. Omar has been out there calling for more and more violence every single day. Our RAV Chat family had one thing to say, and that was get a water cannon. If you get a water cannon, a lot of these problems will go away awfully quickly in that cold. And I gotta tell you, it sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
Emily Finn
Sounds like a good idea to me, too. They need to do. Do something out there.
Dr. Gina
Carefree, you know, the other big thing.
Carefree Largo
That was in the chat this week, all week long, has been the idea of Greenland, which I gotta tell you, is really actually absolutely nothing new. President Andrew Johnson, back in the 1860s, after they did the purchase of Alaska, very much was advised to try to purchase not only Iceland, but Greenland as well. Harry S. Truman made a secret offer to buy Greenland from Denmark for $100 million in pure gold, which they turned down, but he did offer it. Dwight David eisenhower in the 1950s, was advised by the Joint Chiefs of Staff again to buy Greenland because of its mineral and strategic place in the world. Of course, our very favorite president has advocated the strategic importance of Greenland since 2019. And in my humble opinion, the Monroe Doctrine is as sound today, or the Don Row Doctrine as some people call it, as it was back in, what was it, 1823 when it was introduced to Congress. And it's because it keeps the best interest of the American people first. And that does include a strategic interest in Greenland, but it also includes what we're doing down in Venezuela as well. It means that this hemisphere belongs to the United States. Well, maybe not belongs to it, but it's under our care, custody and control and everybody else needs to stay out. In fact, One of our RAV ambassadors, our spotlight of the week, Ms. Crandall, also said that if they want to continue to govern their country freely, keeping Russia and China in mind, then they may want to have America as their partner, which, again, a salient thought, makes a lot of sense from any direction that you look at it.
Emily Finn
Absolutely. Carefree, I thought that Canada was going to be our 51st state, but it sounds like maybe Greenland. They might be. They might be coming in, coming in next. Carefree, we always appreciate seeing you. Thanks for giving us the update on the RAV Chat, Emily Rose fan.
Carefree Largo
I hope you have a fantastic birthday tomorrow. You are our Irish Rose and we love you to death.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Thank you.
Emily Finn
Carefree. I really, really appreciate it. That's so sweet. You got me blushing over here. All right, coming up, Terence Bates is standing by with the stories he's following today. The One to Watch is next after the break. Don't go anywhere.
Dr. Gina
All right. Happy freedom Friday. Happy puppy Friday. Yes, Colby's giving me love only because I have treats in my hand. Welcome back to American Sunrise. Thanks so much for being with us this morning. It is now time for the One to Watch. Terrence, what story are you keeping an eye on today?
Terrence Bates
Well, the one story I'm really watching is the ongoing situation in Gaza. Some major developments just in. President Trump backing a new Palestinian technocratic government to temporarily run Gaza. The United States saying all of this is part of the second phase of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Hamas taking to Truth Social 47 writing as the chairman of the Board of Peace, I'm backing a newly appointed Palestinian technocratic government, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, supported by the board's high representative to govern Gaza during its transition. This plan, by the way, puts a 15 member Palestinian administrative body in charge of Gaza's day to day governance and it will be overseen by an International Board of Peace of which President Trump will be the chair. I think this is going to be an interesting development. I'm wondering how it holds. David, I'd like to get your perspective. I suspect that this is something that you've been watching pretty closely as well. Do you believe that this board will hold and truly have the best interest of Gaza at heart as it relates to Israel and the relationship between Palestine and Israel? And then, of course, the larger region, the larger Middle east region? I know that's a lot to put on your plate.
David Brody
It's a horrible idea. That's just bottom line, it's terrible. It's absolutely horrible. Seriously, it's really bad. And Turkey needs to stay far away from this plan. And they're not. Tony Blair is probably going to be there. Tony Blair? Oh, my gosh. No. Not Tony Blair. Seriously, guys, not Tony Blair.
Dr. Gina
But explain why you think it's such a horrible idea.
David Brody
So many different reasons. So many different reasons. Why don't we just start with bad actors in a dangerous zone that don't have Israel's best intentions and definitely don't have America's best intentions? So you put that together and that's a cauldron for disaster. And if anybody thinks this is gonna work, sounds great, right? Peace, Gaza, you know, Kumbaya. I'm telling you, this is a disaster. I got more to say, but we gotta run.
Dr. Gina
Well, and we have good news to talk about. That is happiest birthday to our own Emily Finn and American Sunrise editor Colton as well. And we want to tell you birthday buddies there that we look at Colton on the screen. I love them.
Emily Finn
I had no idea we were birthday twins.
Dr. Gina
Now, you know we're gonna have to go celebrate. And Emily's whole family, her parents are here to celebrate with her and Colby's in the house to celebrate with her as well. So we wish all of you a wonderful weekend. Weekend as well. War room is up next. Hug your children. Love God. Pet your puppies.
Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne
Go.
Dr. Gina
Boldly now, live the truth about.
Terrence Bates
Happy birthday, Amy Rose.
Dr. Gina
Happy birthday. We'll see you on Monday.
David Brody
That's a five box right there.
Dr. Gina
This is an I heart podcast. Guaranteed human.

The hosts discuss President Trump’s escalating posture on Iran, new health care proposals, ICE controversy amidst Minneapolis protests, the political fallout from January 6th, and the intersection of country music and conservative values. Noteworthy interviews include discussions with Congressman Ralph Norman on border policy and the Insurrection Act, and Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne on health care and Clinton subpoenas. The episode maintains a lively, populist tone—framing news through the lens of “American values and freedom,” with frequent asides on faith, culture, and day-to-day life.
This American Sunrise episode delivers a confrontational, populist take on leading news—centered around support for law enforcement, skepticism of media narratives, and celebration of conservative culture. With interviews and panel discussion, the show weaves together domestic issues (health care, immigration, education) and international developments (Iran, Venezuela, Greenland) through a lens emphasizing faith, patriotism, and skepticism towards the mainstream press and political establishment. Listeners are continually encouraged to stay informed, resist “woke” ideology, and take pride in American values.
