We begin this Thursday morning with breaking news as we are awaiting Tom. Tom Holman, excuse me, the border czar, who will be taking this podium in short order to offer remarks on the Minnesota operations again. The moment he does arrive here at the podium, we, of course, will take it live. This will be his first presser since taking over those operations earlier this week. So we're all looking forward to what he has to say and his thoughts on how things might be a little different in Minneapolis. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David now to offer some more thoughts again as we await Tom Holman. Dr. Gina, what are your expectations in terms of what we'll hear from Tom Holman? And then conversely, what is it that you want to hear from Tom Holman today?
A
Well, I think that the tone will be, of course, very calm. You know, Tom Holman can be a bomb thrower, and I really expected that. But I don't think that's the directive of the administration. I think the administration is in sort of a different mood. And I'll let David speak to that because I know that you pointed out an article, David, that I think you wanted to discuss.
B
Well, it's about some of the divide in maga. And look, there are obviously, if you will say, deport them all. And then there's others that are saying, you know, look, we go after the worst of the worst first. And that's kind of been what's been playing out within the administration. My sources are telling me that Tom Homan has always been, and he said this publicly, Homan's a straight shooter. He's always said we're going after the worst of the worst first yet Kristi Noem and others and Stephen Miller, who have said let's go for the quantity, the big numbers, let's get a lot of illegal immigrants, whether they're the worst of the worst or not out of the country. And there's been this schism between folks in the administration. So this isn't just a MAGA split, if you will. This is an administration split to a degree as to what the best Way forward is here. And so President Trump is making a recalculation here to say let's give this a try. And what is this? Well, we're about to find out what this is exactly, but it seems to me what we're going to hear from Tom Homan today is that the high priority illegal criminal aliens that are in this country will be deported first. In other words, back to basics, the worst of the worst. I understand there's a lot in MAGA that say deport them all, deport them all. I got it, I got that. But I don't think that's where this administration is right now. It's bad look, it's a bad PR look. And you might say they're caving. But the truth of the matter is is that Tom Holman's going to say, look, this is what we've always said from the very beginning, get the worst, the worst. And that is true. I remember on the campaign trail T. Bates that this is exactly the words that came out of President Trump's mouth and of course, Tom Holman, once he became the border czar, which is, we're going for the worst, folks, first and then we'll go from there. Well, we haven't got with them, we'll go from there situation yet. We'll have to see.
A
But I don't necessarily think those two were, those two conversations are mutually exclusive, David. And this may be where America first and MAGA are sort of parting. And that is, I don't think that going for the worst or the worst. They're all criminals. They all need to be deported. I want them to stay strong on this and not back down. So I think I probably stand with a lot of maga, but we'll see, we'll see what happens. We have a congressman to bring in, Andy Harris. Congressman, what are you hearing there on Capitol Hill? There's a little bit of a, at least a narrative difference right now between those hardliners who are saying, get them all out. They're all illegal, they all committed a crime. I don't care if it was 25 years ago or yesterday, we want them all out. And there are those who are saying, oh, but the Democrats are getting really mad and there's all this violence and we have the budget issue, you know, the. So what does your say? What are you hearing?
E
Well, obviously you're right. The people who are in the country illegally are in the country illegally.
C
Now.
E
We should prioritize. We should go after the criminals first. But again, if you're going After a criminal. And there are seven or eight other people there who have entered the country illegally.
D
Yes.
E
You bring them all in, you don't forget about the other seven to eight. And that's the approach I think Tom Homan's gonna take. I think it's gonna be a very reasoned approach, but it's not gonna say it's only criminals, but that's where your priority is gonna be.
A
Excuse me, Congressman, how is that different from what he's been doing? I guess that's. That's what I'm trying to get to. I mean, if we're gonna unmask ICE now and we're gonna make all of these compromises, this is really a different path, and this really feels like folding.
E
No, again, I think the number of detainees and detentions is gonna remain about where it is. But again, you're not gonna go after one lone person for whom you have a deportation order who's been here for 10 or 15 years. You're going after the criminals, then you're going after the 10 to 12 million who have entered during the Biden administration with wide open borders. And again, prioritization is important. I think if the President returns to that which he did say during his campaign, I think then the American people are gonna look at this and say, okay, that's a pretty reasonable reset. And I think Tom Holman's exactly the right person to put in charge of that.
B
Well, I'm glad you said that because that's exactly what the President said. So he'd just be going to what he said all along. I mean, and by the way, I'm glad you said prioritization, because that's what it is. It's not like we're saying don't deport them all at some point, but you've got to start with first things first. And I felt like that got away from the congressman. What about. I know the President's hearing from a lot of business leaders, a lot of folks that are running agricultural areas and farms and stuff, and they're concerned about some of the big, massive roundups, that that's hurting their bottom line. And that's gotta be a calculation as well. I know it shouldn't be, but it is.
E
I think you're absolutely right. I think now that we've closed the border and we've turned to deporting or self deporting now perhaps 3 million people, we have to think of a way that we are going to replace those people in the workforce. Perhaps it's through some very tight immigration changes in immigration law that allow temporary workers to come in. But we do have to address that manpower shortage that is occurring and do it in a way that doesn't encourage people from entering the country illegal and staying here illegally.
A
I mean, why can't we pay fair wages for Americans to take those jobs? I don't understand.
E
Look, all the temporary visa programs, for instance, have a stipulation that you have to offer the jobs to Americans first and you have to pay American wages for those jobs. So again, our unemployment rate is pretty low right now. There aren't Americans who will do those jobs. So we have to decide whether we want to keep those things like agriculture in the economy or are we going to again, tighten the immigration laws, make sure that we enforce immigration laws, and if we need some foreign workers to come in, bring them in, but under very tight conditions and not allowing overstays and not allowing people to stay here illegally.
A
We sure have a lot of people on welfare. I don't understand why they can't be taking some of these jobs. Terrence I'm sorry.
C
Oh, you're fine. Dr. Gina and we should, we should.
E
Put in work requirements for every one of our welfare programs should have work requirements for able bodied people. There's no question about it. We started that in one big, beautiful bill. We put in work requirements for snap, we put in work requirements for Medicaid. We should go right down the line of all the federal welfare benefits and make work requirements a standard part of it. Because you're right, that will bring people into the workforce who should have been in the workforce all along.
C
Congressman Harris, we continue to show the podium where Tom Holman is expected to speak here at any moment. I want to apologize to you in advance. If he happens to come to the podium, we're obviously going to end our conversation and listen in on what he has to say as we wait. Congressman, what's the tone going to be of the remarks or what's your expectation in terms of the tones of Tom Holman's remarks? And I asked that in light of the ongoing budget funding fight there in Congress or really specifically in the Senate, Right now we are hearing that a deal is being worked out between President Trump and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. But I suspect that they're going to be listening to Tom Holman, Democrats in particular. And if the tone isn't what they consider appropriate, they may pull back again because let's just be honest, they are holding the government hostage over funding for ice. That's what it all comes down to, for Democrats at this point, that's absolutely.
E
True that they, they're saying that's what they're going to do. But look, Tom Homan is a seasoned professional who's worked for presidents of both parties. He was actually hired by a Democrat president to do the job. So the bottom line is I think he probably has credibility on both sides of the aisle. Again, he's, he's, he understands exactly what this job is all about. He's exactly the right person to put in this role. And if anyone can get us out of this situation, I think it's going to be Tom Homan.
B
All right, looks like I can't, I don't have my glasses on, so I don't know who's coming in. Who knows. Let's keep, keep talking. Let me ask you a little bit about what you expect to hear from him regarding the reducing of the protesters in terms of what can be done in terms of rules of engagement on the streets of Minneapolis. You would think he's got to address that somehow, some way, that there's gotta be some procedures in place, that there needs to be some guidelines here and whether or not he's going to get that cooperation from Walz and Fry. I mean, good luck with that. These guys have been a total mess from the very beginning.
E
Look, you're absolutely right. I don't think that anything can happen without at least some buy in from Waltz and Fry. Hopefully they come to their senses. They realize that fomenting protests is not a good idea anywhere in America. It's certainly not a good idea in such a volatile situation. And they have to show some leadership on this. You're absolutely right. It won't come without at least some partial buy in from them.
C
Dr. Gina, can I just follow up on that? Because the protests there in Minneapolis and the face offs, if you will, between protesters and these ICE agents who are simply trying to do their job has become deadly. We know that, but it's also counterproductive. So I would imagine that Tom Homan has got to address that as well and got to send a warning to these protesters that, yeah, it's your right to protest, but stand back and let my guys do their job.
E
That's right. They certainly have the right to protest peaceably. We've seen they haven't been protesting peaceably. And one has to remember that these ICE operations are going on in all 50 states. And the only place we're having problems are where the governor and the mayor are fomenting this. So again, they have to step back. Just do what's happening everywhere else in the country. Again, go to a prioritization policy. Everybody shake hands and say, look, we're going to enforce immigration policy by the federal government, which is what's constitutional. The states don't get a say in enforcing immigration policy. That's a deal made between the states and the federal government at the founding of the country. It still exists. And again, the leaders in Minnesota have to agree to that. At least a partial buy in. At least stop saying go out, put your cameras in the face of ICE agents, because that doesn't end well. It doesn't end with just cameras in the face of agents. It ends up seeing with really what we've seen on the streets of Minneapolis.
A
So, Congressman, are we seeing any shifts in terms of what you know, from folks who are really. I really. This just makes so much sense to the average MAGA mind that isn't sitting in Congress trying to deal with votes and policy and whipping and all the rest of makes so much sense that we say, all right, look, we are getting rid of the illegals. There aren't going to be as many illegal workers and we're going to. Instead, we're going to have welfare programs. Now people are going to work for those tax dollars. That makes a lot of sense to the average American. Doesn't seem to even be. I mean, you definitely addressed it and I hear your sincerity in it and I believe you, but it doesn't even seem to be a conversation that Congress wants to have. And it doesn't seem to be a conversation that even we're hearing really from the administration. Are there any actual shifts in people coming off of welfare and going in to take over those jobs that illegals once held?
E
Yeah. Look, again, the SNAP provisions and the Medicaid provisions both kick in. They don't kick in, unfortunately, until later this year and next year. But when they kick in, the Congressional Budget Office has said that there will be several million people who will have to leave the welfare rolls because they're unwilling. They don't want to work. Now, I think that CBO is wrong. I think that what you're going to see is you're going to see those people actually go and find jobs because they're going to want to keep those, the Medicaid coverage. They want to keep their food stamp benefits. So I do think they will enter the marketplace. I'm not sure. Again, it's on the order of magnitude. That's necessary because remember, we had millions and millions of people enter the country illegally under the Biden administration who are working in this economy. Now, we do have to adjust to the fact that many of them are going to leave. Three million of them probably have left either voluntarily or been deported. Many more are going to leave voluntarily or be deported. So we do have to pay some attention to that and we have to remind people that in this country, you are expected to work for a living. If you can work, you're expected to work. The government's not gonna support you.
B
Congressman Harris, you're maga, obviously. You're the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. What's your message to maga, to those that say deport them all? I know you said get the worst of the worst first, but what is your message to soothe or at least explain to MAGA the ones I mean, Gina's mentioned? You know, deport them all. What's the message to folks that believe that, in other words, right here, right now, they want all of them deported? Forget the worst of the worst at the beginning, just deport them all?
E
Well, first of all, ICE doesn't have the manpower to deport everyone right now. Again, we're talking about millions and millions of people, so it just makes sense to prioritize. But eventually, you will get to everyone who's here illegally, but you can't do it all up front. So again, in this moment in time, it's not unreasonable to say right now we're going to prioritize. We're going to use all our ICE agents. We're going to use them to the fullest extent of what we can do. But we are going to concentrate on the people who are here who have committed crimes or accused of crimes or again, the worst of the worst. But we will get through all of them by the end. But again, at this moment in time, it's probably the best idea to just say we're going to prioritize right now. But that doesn't mean that you are not going to deport everyone who's here illegally. You'll get to them, but it's. But again, not at this moment because we have to prioritize.
B
Congressman Harris, thanks for being here. Really appreciate the extra time you gave us, Congressman.
F
Thank you.
E
Thank you.
B
All right, we're continuing live coverage here, waiting for Tom Holman to speak any moment. Let's bring in now the founder of the American Cornerstone Institute, also the national nutritional advisor for the Department of Agriculture. You know him and we all love him. Dr. Ben Carson with us on this breaking news here on American Sunrise. Dr. Carson, always great to see You, David Brody here. What do you think in terms of what Tom Holman's gonna say today? What does he need to say today? Good morning to you, sir.
F
Well, good morning. It's always good to be with you. I hope he can do some things that will turn the temperature down a little bit. You know, the left has done everything they can to inflame the situation. And I think it should be pointed out vigorously that this is only going on in Minnesota. I think they had expected it to be a George Floyd type thing and to spread all over the country, but it's not doing that. And why is it only in Minnesota? Because there you have a governor and a mayor who don't want to cooperate. If they were truly interested in getting the dangerous criminals out, they would be cooperating. They're not cooperating. So obviously they have another goal in mind. And, you know, Tom Homan is a very reasonable guy, but he's tough. I mean, he. Tough love would be a good way to explain it. He loves our country, but he recognizes that the rules and the laws that we have are there for a purpose. They're not just to be followed when you agree with them.
A
You know, I. Dr. Carson, you ran HUD in the last administration. I know that you have a distinct interest in the people who struggle to have housing in our country. I also know now that you are part of what Bobby Kennedy, Secretary Kennedy is doing to reform the sorts of food, especially that those who struggle financially are ingesting. Put the two of those things together and tell us what kind of difference this administration is going to make. In particular, the things that Secretary Kennedy and you are working on. For folks who may not have the educational background to know all of the details of what's good for them or their children and what's not may not have the time because they're working a couple of jobs, et cetera, et cetera. Tell us what is really going to change foundationally for poor children in this country because of the differences, the changes being made?
F
Well, you've probably noticed that this administration is moving very, very rapidly. President Trump had an opportunity during the four year hiatus to study the situation and to learn from what needed to be learned. Both triumphs and failures in the first administration. And it's kind of ironic. There were these two professors in Columbia in the 30s, Cloward and Pippin, and they were radical leftist. And they said the way you change a society is you hit them with so many new, different policies, they can't react. That seems to be what's going on now. But it's very good. He knows the people who are in administration now. Before he just took people's word for it. So I think there's a lot more cohesion in the way that things are being done and working across different agencies. It's not just HHS when it comes to food, nutrition and maha, but FDA is also involved. CMS is involved. A number of other organizations are involved consistently with a real goal in mind and using science as their goal as opposed to opinions. And, you know, our life expectancy have been going down over the last five years. Others are going up. Right. And we're looking at why is that?
C
Dr. Carson, Terrence Bates here. I apologize for interrupting you, but borders are. Tom Holman is taking the podium. We wanted to listen in. Always good to see you, sir. Let's listen into Tom Holman later, ladies and gentlemen.
F
Thank you. Look, I've been given talking points and I don't like reading speeches, never have. But my chief of staff did put some stuff down here in writing just to make sure I don't miss anything. So I'm gonna be reading a little bit and then we're going to open up for questions. We've. I've been on the ground less than three full days. I got in here Monday. President of the United States called me Monday morning and asked me to deploy here. Got here Monday evening and I'm staying. So the problem's gone. But we've made a lot of progress, a lot of progress in the last three days. Marcos Charles, he's running ice operations here. Rodney Scott, Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, stand here beside me. Good morning. I'm Tom Holman. I'm the border czar for President Trump. I'm here on behalf of the president along with US Commissioners, Commissioner for US Customers Border Protection, Rodney Scott and Marcos Charles, who's leading the enforcement effort here right now. I've been on the ground since Monday to regain law and order and the city beloved by many and work together to remove threats from the community. During the past administration, we all remember, more than 10 million illegal aliens entered this nation. Many were national security threats, public safety threats. We can't remember where. 2 million. 2 million known gotaways. 2 million people have paid more than get away. Why that should scare the hell out of everybody. President Trump promised American people, including their residents in Minnesota, that he would work to ensure our communities are safe. And with that, this administration is absolutely focused on identifying removal aliens that pose a public safety threat and national security threats. And the numbers prove it. The data proves it. In the past few days, I've met with Governor Waltz, Attorney General Ellison, Mayor Fry, numerous police chiefs and sheriffs and I have more to meet. I'll also be continuing the dialogue with business and religious leaders in partnership in Minnesota. Your communities. I'll be meeting with them too. I want to hear what they have to say. In my meetings with folks so far, and most importantly the governor and the ag, the Mayor Fry, we didn't agree on everything. I didn't expect to agree on anything. I've heard many people want to know why we're talking to people who they don't consider friends. Administration. Bottom line is you can't fix problems if you don't have discussions. I didn't come to Minnesota for photo ops or headlines. You haven't seen me. I came here to seek solutions and that's what we're going to do. And we come a long way and we got some good wins for the people of Minnesota, I think, and for the administration and for the safety security of this city. One thing we did agree on, though everybody I talked to agreed on was that community safety is paramount. One thing we all agreed on was U.S. immigration Customs Enforcement is a legitimate law enforcement agency that has a duty to enforce the laws enacted by Congress and keep the security safe. Like I've said many times for last several years, even before this administration, jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities are sanctuaries for criminals. Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals and endangers the residents of the community. To be clear, we did not agree with Minnesota state local officials that they would be involved in immigration enforcement. I didn't ask them to be immigration officers. I'm asking them to be cops working with the cops to help us take criminal aliens off the street. What we did agree upon is not to release public safety arrest back in the community and it could be lawfully transferred ice. I'll speak more about that. I will highlight that the Minnesota State prison system under the Department of Corrections have been honoring ICE detainers and we appreciate that important collaboration and we're going to expand upon that. That decision has made Minnesota safer not only for residents of Minnesota, but the men and women law enforcement, not just SAIs, all law enforcement. Rather than arresting the same public safety threat, significant public safety threat, over and over again, they agree to work with us to identify those people and remove them. I'm also pleased to announce I had a very good meeting with Attorney General Ellison and he has clarified for me the county jails may Notify ICE of the release dates of criminal public safety risks so ICE can take custody of them upon their release from the jail. Let me tell you why that's important. I know people are a lot of concern, but the manpower has been sent in law enforcement manpower. Look, I've said this many times before. I've said it for the last several years. Give us access to the illegal alien public safety threat and the safety and security of a jail. It's common sense. It's safer for the community, it's safer for the agent and it's safer for the alien because anything can happen on a street arrest. It just made common sense. And for the people that argue, well, we're a welcoming community. We want victims and witnesses of crime that are here illegally to feel safe, to come to police without fear. They're working with ice. We're not going to talk to the victim, witness a crime. There's no problem there. They should feel safe to come to the police and ask for help. All we want is to talk to the person that local and state law enforcement authorities locked in a jail cell. They chose to lock this person up. That's who we want to talk to, the public safety threat. So the argument is that protects victim witnesses of crime. Bunch of crap. Victims and witnesses of crime don't want the bad guy back in their neighborhood either. So great progress with there with the attorney general and local sheriff. And one thing, when we have these agreements, it takes less law enforcement agents to do the job. One agent can arrest one bad guy in the safety and security of a jail where he's behind the wire. We know we don't have weapons, but when you normally release that public safety threat illegal alien back in the community, we have a job to do. We're going to arrest them. So we're going to find them. And what happens is now we got to arrest somebody on his turf. He has access to who knows what weapons. Now we got to send the whole team out, cover the back door, cover the front door officer safety reason. Then because of the hateful rhetoric and the attacks on ISIS officers, now we got to send a security team behind the arrest team. So what could have been done with one person in a safety and security jail, now we got 15, 16 people out there doing it. I know that causes stress in the community. So if we get these agreements in place, that means less agents on the street. More agents in the jail means less agents in the street. This is common sense. Cooperation that allows to draw down on the number of people we have here. Yes, I said it. Draw down the number of people here, Staff from CBP and from ICE working on a drawdown plan. What does that look like based on the cooperation? What does that look like based on how many targets we have less to find? In my meetings with Governor Walts, AG Ellison and Mayor Fry, as well as state and local law enforcement, again, I appreciate the all acknowledge that we do have federal immigration laws in this country that have been passed by Congress and that ICE is in fact, a legitimate law enforcement agency charged with enforcing those laws. We're not making this up, folks. ICE is enforcing laws enacted by Congress. They're a federal statute. That said, I'm not here because the federal government has carried this mission out perfectly. First thing I said to senior staff when I walked in here is what I told you earlier. I didn't come here looking for photo ops or headlines. I come here looking for solutions. I do not want to hear that everything that's been done here has been perfect. Nothing's ever perfect. Anything can be improved on. And what we've been working on is making this operation safer, more efficient, by the book. The mission is going to improve because of the changes we're making internally. No agency, organization is perfect. President Trump and I, along with others in the administration, have recognized that certain improvements could and should be made. That's exactly what I'm doing here. As such, in meetings I've had with federal law enforcement managers, including ICE and CBP and other federal partners, as well as state and local officials, I have conveyed the President's expectations with regard to federal immigration enforcement efforts. We will conduct targeted enforcement operations. Targeted. What we've done for decades, we hit the streets, we know exactly who we're looking for. Good idea where we may find them. You have a criminal history, you have their immigration history. A lot of information about this person that we get from numerous databases out.
D
There.
F
Targeted strategic enforcement operations. That's traditionally been the case. And that's where we're going. That's where we're going to continue to do and improve upon that with a prioritization on public safety threats. I want to be clear. I don't read a lot of social media. I don't read a lot of media. I don't believe half what I see. We are not surrendering the President's mission in immigration enforcement. Let's make that clear. Prioritization of criminal ambulance doesn't mean we forget about everybody else. That's just simply ridiculous. But when you have a criminal standing here and a non criminal standing there, that criminal always should be targeted for it because he's a significant concern to the safety and security, security of the min of the community by at large. For decades, licensed CBP have carried out their duties with integrity, professionalism and compassion. That remains the expectation under President Trump. And we will. I will hold our agents and officers to that standard. I'm almost done and Tom can be time as far as the agitators. That said, I want to reiterate and make very clear. I want to make it clear ICE and CBP officers are performing their duties in a challenging environment under tremendous circumstances, but they're trying to do it with professionalism. If they don't, they'll be dealt with like any other federal agency. We have standards of conduct. They are sworn law enforcement officers working tirelessly to enforce our country's border security immigration laws, protecting the interests of our country and preventing dangerous people from walking the streets of this nation when they're not supposed to be here to begin with. Men and women of ICE. I was a border legal agent. I was an ICE agent. I was the first ICE director came up through the ranks. I spent over 40 years doing this. These men and women that carry that badge and gun are American patriots. They put theirselves on the line for this nation every day. I want you to remember, they don't hang their badge, they don't hang their heart on the hook. Every day they come to work. They're mothers and fathers too. They're sons and daughters too. They've seen a fraction of the tragedies I've seen in my career. They take a lot of damage home to it every day. The things they've seen, especially on the border with border collisions, people drowning in the river, women being raped by criminal cartels, giving CPR to a baby that was thrown in the river by the cartels because Boer Patrol came too close. So let's throw the baby in the river that way. The Border Patrol was concentrated on that so I can get away. These men and women see some terrible things. But I want you to remember there are mothers and fathers too. Many of them are members of this community. God bless every one of them. The hostile rhetoric and dangerous threats and hate must stop. And we all agreed to that. All everybody met here today. We got to stop the rhetoric, the hateful rhetoric that has caused an increase in assaults that it caused because of that having to send security teams out with arrest teams, which serves the city with additional resources because of the Reddit, because of the threats, because of the assaults, again with the agreements We've achieved in following through these agreements with the Reddit dropping down. That allows us to pull more agents out once we feel the environment safer. I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March if the rhetoric didn't stop, there was going to be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die. Not officers, not members of the community, and not the targets of our operations. For the people out there don't like what ISIS is doing. If you want certain laws reformed, then take it up with Congress. Again, ISIS making this up. They're enforcing laws enacted by Congress and signed by President. The same laws have been on the books for the last six presidents I worked for. I started with President Reagan and ending with President Trump. Every administration, we enforce the same laws. If you don't like what isa's doing, instead of protesting this building, go protest Congress. Tell me one changes. You have your First Amendment rights. I support that. You have the right to protest. I'm just asking to keep it peaceful. But threatening law enforcement officers, engaging in impeding and obstruction and assault is never okay. And there will be zero tolerance. You interfere, impede assault and ISIS officers, you will be arrested. Like I said a bit earlier, my meetings with Governor Waltson, Ellison and Frey, as well as state and local law enforcement, I appreciate they acknowledge this, that public safety should be paramount. The chiefs I've talked to committed to responding to 911 calls. When protesters turn violent, agents are in a dangerous situation and there's assaults. They have committed to upholding public safety and responding to the needs not to enforce immigration law, but to keep the peace. With that, I call upon those officials stand shoulder to shoulder with us to tone down the dangerous rhetoric and condemn all unlawful actions against law enforcement in the community. There are many ways your voice can be heard, express your feelings and affect change in the country, all crossing that line. Political and other disagreements in this realm should not be expensed on public safety or the safety of federal law enforcement officers. In closing, I want to thank the state and local officials here in Minnesota that I met with and the many I'm going to meet with. We've had meaning meaningful dialogue. And look, again, I didn't. We didn't agree on everything, but we agreed on the things I just talked about. There's much more we can do and I'm going to continue those dialogues. I got many more community leaders to talk to. I got many more shares to me, President Trump wants this fixed. And I'm going to fix it with your help. I want to thank President Trump for his unwavering commitment to public safety and prosperity. Every American under president's leadership. We have the most secure border in the history of this nation, which means less women are being raped, less children are dying crossing that border. Less fentanyl is getting this country to kill Americans. Less known as spectators. Terrorists are causing the country. And we don't have two men unknown God only we don't know who the hell they are. A secure bordering restraint. We have stronger national security. A secure border saves lives. When 96% less people come in. How many women are being sucked. She has totally been members of the cartel. How many people aren't dying making that journey? How many Americans aren't dying of fentanyl overdoses? How many women and children aren't being sex trafficked in this nation? The data proves it. Anybody can find that data. So God bless this great nation. God bless Minnesota. We can do better. And I thank the local and state leaders meeting with me. We made some significant gains, significant coordination and cooperation. And you're going to see some massive changes occurring here in this city. Thank you.
A
Thank you so much. Mr. Holman.
G
Giovanna DeLorto with the Associated Press.
F
Based on how you have described these changes in the mission, can you be more specific about the objectives operation?
C
If what you have described changes the.
F
Parameters for interior enforcement?
A
Only in Minnesota or also in Maine and other places.
B
And finally, when would you consider that those objectives will be achieved and this operation will end? Is it in terms of agents on.
F
The ground, in terms of who you are targeting for arrests? The withdrawal of law enforcement resources here is dependent upon cooperation. Like I said, one agent rests on one bad guy in jail means less agents on the street. We have some agreements. We got more to talk about how we're going to implement these agreements. But as we see that cooperation happen, then the redeployment will happen. Look, target enforcement operations should happen across the nation. That's what we've done for decades. And with target enforcement operations, I've done many, many of them. It just makes it safer for everybody when we know exactly what we're looking for. What is his criminal history? What is his immigration history? Where does he live? Is he an apartment complex? Versus the house? Has got a known record for having weapons. Is safer for everybody. Then we know what type of resources we need to go and, you know, it just makes his operation cleaner, more efficient. Efficient. And it's proven less violence when we know exactly what we're getting into. And we can take the necessary precautions to keep everybody safe. You know, some of the operations that I've been involved in. We know there's children in the house based on surveillance. So we know you got to be a little bit different when you go into the house because there's going to be children present. So target enforcement operations, way we've always done it, I think we got away from a little bit and we're going. We'll make sure we do target enforcement operations. And look, I will say it again. You know, we are not surrendering our mission at all. We're just doing smarter. Shimon Prokopes from CNN.
B
Mr. Homan, how did we get here in terms of. You had Greg Bevino, who was the.
C
Face of this immigration operation, mission, as.
B
You say, to having border patrol agents in the interior of this country, stopping US Citizens, asking them for id, creating this fear in places like Chicago and now here. And then finally it took really the death of Alex Petty for us to get here.
F
How did that happen?
B
Who made the decision decisions to allow.
H
This kind of operation to proceed in.
B
This way and to create such fear?
F
Well, like the Borbatrol last four years under Joe Biden, we have an open border where 10, 12,000 people a day are coming across the border. Border got overwhelmed, which means we sent thousands of ICE agents down there to help deal with that humanitarian crisis, help secure the border. Now we have millions of people released in this nation, many unvetted. Now we got to find them. Before the big beautiful bill, we had a total just under 5,000 deportation officers to look for millions of people, many in public safety threats. So, yes, we needed border patrol to come and help on our mission now. And reason for the massive deployment is because of the threats, because of the violence, our officers need to be protected. If I'm on operation arrest team, I'm going to a house, I gotta be busy with that guy, the dangerous guy. And I can't keep looking over my shoulder at what's happening outside the house. So we brought extra resources in to provide that security. And as I said, as we drill down on these great agreements, we got this great understanding. We have means less so we can draw down those resources. When the violence decreases, we can draw down those resources. But based on the discussions I've had with the governor and the ag, we can start drawing down those resources. As far as those looking for public safety threats, being released and doing it in the jail with much less people. So the drawdown is going to happen based on these agreements. But the drawdown can happen even more if the hateful rhetoric and the impediment interference will stop. So border patrol, I was a border patrol agent. The men and women patriots, God bless, God bless them. They're here to help us. And the drawdown will come soon depending on when this actually I see this in play. But the agreements to have alone is going to cause a significant drawdown. So you're going to see a drawdown just on a personal justice.
B
You've been doing this for 40 years.
H
First off, Ben Berkbaum, Real America's Voice News. On behalf of the American people, I just want to say thank you to you and to all of the agents that are putting their lives on the line to go after the people that were allowed in in the last administration. We watched that happen in the media, the honest media covered up by many of the media that are behind me. We want to say thank you and to all the men and women that are out there, can you talk to us about what's being done with the leadership on these signal chats, on these WhatsApp chats that are organizing the attacks against you, the obstructing obstruction against you are there, are we going to be arresting those individuals as well? And to the folks out there in America that voted for this, that want mass deportations because they saw a mass invasion under Joe Biden, what would you say to them? How are we going to get to that point?
F
Well, first of all, about the, the organization and the funding of the attacks on ice. I'm not going to answer a lot about that because I'm not going to show our hand. But they'll be held accountable. Justice is coming again. We got to all remember the questions we've seen and why we're here. What started this four years of an open border where millions of people are letting this country unvetted remember, let's not forget for four years we were told the border is secure. Four years we were told the border secure and we all knew it wasn't. I want this to be a positive thing we're doing here today. I also want to remember the politicians are continually attacking us. Where were they the last four years when the number of women, children, sex trafficking went all time high? Where were they when a quarter million Americans died from fentanyl come across the border? Where were they when women and children are dying making that journey? Where were they? Over 4,000 aliens making that journey died. Historic record. Where were they? Not a word. Now we're just trying to respond to what happened last four years and keeping this country safe. And we're arresting a lot of public safety threats, take them off the streets, which make this country safer. President Trump promised to make this country safe again, and that's what we're doing. But my three two and a half days up here, we made a lot of progress. I think everybody agrees on the criminal and public safety threats. They agree it's much safer and easier to arrest an alien in a facility than send a whole team out in the field. That's going to draw anger because now we got to send a bunch of people, do something that could have been done by one or two people. And I've said this for years, I have no ill will to anybody in Minnesota. All the people I talk to, we're never going to agree on everything. We have different philosophies and different opinions on immigration, but we all agree this is the way to go to reduce safety. Reduce crime. Not reduce safety. Reduce crime and increase safety for our operations. More people in the jail means less people on the street. Simple math.
A
Lana Zak, CBS News. Everybody I've spoken with agrees that if somebody has a violent criminal history and is a fugitive, they don't want them as their neighbor. But when you're talking about a targeted operation, are you talking about targeting people whose crime is coming to this country, or is it a more specific definition now?
F
All operations will be targeted, but the prioritization are going to be criminal aliens, public safety threats, and national security threats. I met with Marcos and his staff. We got a lot of, we got a lot of them to keep us busy. So that would be our focus.
A
That is enough.
F
That.
A
That's what. There is not going to be a focus on people who have no other crimes except for their status.
F
If you're in the country legally, you're not. You're never off the table. You know, but privatization doesn't mean you forget about everybody. So let me, let me say, say this. If the message we send is you can enter this country legally, it's a crime, don't worry about it. You can have your due process. Show up in court. Not show up in court, get ordered, move, don't worry about it. Unless you commit a serious crime, you're good to go. If that's the message we send to the world, you're never going to fix this problem. The most vulnerable people in the world will make that dangerous journey like they did under Joe Biden administration. Over 4,000 aliens died back in that journey. And again, a significant increase in sex Trafficking. Because when they did that and opened those borders up saying, we're not going to detain you, we're going to give you free health care, we're going to fly to the city of your choice, put you in a free hotel room, give you three meals a day and give you work authorization. We're just going to bring you in. And when they did that, they sent a message to the whole world, you can come and do this. And what happened? They overwhelmed the men and women of the border patrol, where many days 70% of agents were pulled off that line. 70%. You don't think the criminal cars had a field day with that? They created gaps for the cartels do their activity. And that's why you've seen the rise in fentanyl overdose. That's why you saw the rise in sex trafficking, the 2 million plus known gotaways. Why did they pay more to get away? Why didn't they pay less? Turn yourself in, get released. Within 24 hours, you get a free airline ticket to the city of your choice. We're going to give you a free hotel room and we'll give you free food and free medical care and you'll get work authorization in six months. Why did 2 million people choose to pay more not to take advantage of that giveaway program? They didn't want to be vetted. They didn't want to be fingerprinted. That scares the hell out of me, and it does. Still, the Trump administration with ICE and Secretary Noem and Marco Rubio and the intelligence community, Tulsi Gabbard, we're all working together to try to identify who these people are. And we've already found many of them, but it's hard work to do. But there are national security threats walking this nation because the last administration, and they are one of our main priorities too. Thank you. Can you please be specific about how many ICE and how many border patrol agents are currently operating in the state? I think we're near three. There's been some rotations. Another thing I witnessed when I came here. I'll share this with you. I met with a lot of people. A lot of the agents, they've been in theater. Some of these people have been in theater for eight months. So there's going to be rotations of personnel, hopefully less now that we have some agreements, maybe we can make it more efficient and safe. But they've been in theater a long time. And so, you know, there's rotations happen all the time to get people out here and go home, get some rest and see their families day after day, can't eat the restaurants day after day. Having people spit on you and blow whistles at you day after day, having all these threats at you day after day, having people trying to interfere with you day after day. You know they're human. So, you know, we've got to rotate these people and we've already rotated some. But my main focus now is drawdown based upon the great conversations I've had with your state and local leaders. Again, I'm not a fool. I'm not walking away without seeing this put in place. But I take the word of the people I met with. I think they're honest. I think they're good brokers, that they want public safety protected and they also want what's happening in the city to go away. And that's what we're that's my goal. Last question in the back. Mueller, Newsmax.
B
The new video of Alex Preddy is now circulating.
H
Your reaction to that, and do you.
F
Think law enforcement could have played a role if, like let's say Minneapolis police were able to respond to that? Have those top law enforcement officials said.
B
They'Ll help or do anything to help.
F
These agents around here? I'm not going to comment on any of these shootings. I said from day one, from day one, I said on any of these shootings as a career law enforcement officer, we'll let investigation roll out, let the investigation play out and let it go where it goes. I'm not going to come out making any comments I think is right, wrong. Do I have an opinion? Yeah, my personal opinion, but I'm not going to share that with you. I'm going to tell you, let the investigation play out and see where it goes. But again, the president, one of the words he said to me when I came up here, he said he didn't want to see anybody die. The less interference, the less rhetoric, the less. You know, I have buried Border Patrol agents and I buried ICE agents throughout my career. And the saddest thing I've ever done is hand a folded flag to a wife or child. I don't want to see anybody die, even the people we're looking for. I don't want to see anybody die. And despite what people think of Tom Homan, I say a prayer every night that everybody goes home safe. This isn't good, but I think my conversations last two and a half days are leading us to a safer community, letting ICE officers operate in the safety and security of a jail more than on the street. I think anybody Here with common sense would say it's safer to arrest a public safety threat and the safety and security of a jail. And let me tell you what, is that going to result in less collateral arrests when we go find that bad guy? When we find that bad guy, many times it's with others. Well, guess what, they're in the country illegally. We're going to enforce immigration law. They're coming, too. You want less collateral arrest, less in the jail. But we're going to enforce immigration law. For the people that are saying we're here to surrender our authority and the mission of enforcing immigration law, you are wrong. We're going to do target enforcement operations and we're going to prioritize the public safety threats and national security threats that is we're here to do.
C
The microphone is being cut and borders our Tom Holman making his way back into the building and away from the microphone after just addressing the media there for the first time since we arriving in Minneapolis. And after taking over operations in Minneapolis, he arrived Monday. And today was the first opportunity we've had to hear from him. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to kind of figure out what all we heard and to kind of break down what all we heard. David, it seems to me the big takeaway here from Tom Holman and what he said repeatedly is asking the local sheriffs to allow his agents in, be they CBP agents or ICE agents, allow them into the jails in order to arrest them, the people, and deport the people who are already in jails. Otherwise, his agents have to be exposed to the public as they're fighting crime and trying to make these arrests and deportations in neighborhoods, which puts them again at risk. You were saying? Well, yes.
B
Well, to be clear, that was the ask and the breaking news this morning. And the huge deal is that that ask has been granted. The attorney general, Keith Ellison in Minnesota says that they will have access to the local jails. When these illegal criminal aliens are up for release, they will notify ICE and say, okay, they're about to be released. Have at it. And Homan and his boys will go in and do the job. Take them away. That's huge, guys. That's a victory, full stop. That's a victory, full stop. Forget everything else that was said and there's a lot to be talk about. But that's the victory here and that's the breaking news because the liberals are going to go berserk when they heard that. They're gonna go berserk.
E
Wait for it.
B
It's coming. The sanctuary city policies that they stick to, don't you dare come into our jails and take our wonderful illegal criminal aliens. That's gone. Ellison just agreed to it to allow Homer to go in. I think we need to understand how significant that is now. We'll see if it actually happens. Okay, but the point is, well, you say there, but, but, but, but Holman's not going to go to the mic home. It ain't going to go to the mic and say that if he didn't get sign off from Ellison on this. So here's what I say.
C
They're just really.
B
It's going to happen. Yeah.
C
Yes. Keith Ellison has said that that's going to be the policy. But local sheriffs still run their own jails. Local sheriffs still, no matter what the attorney general says is the policy local sheriffs still oversee. And so there may be some outlying sheriffs that say, oh, I'm not going to cooperate. Dr. Gina, we're going to come back and get your thoughts on the other side of the break. Sorry we've got to take a quick break but want to hear from you on the other side of the break. Dr. Gina we're back in two minutes.
B
Good morning, America.
A
Welcome to American Sunrise.
D
Welcome.
A
We have breaking news to share with you.
C
Politics.
B
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
F
We've got you covered.
B
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
C
We have to protect the American family.
A
The American dream is still alive.
B
I'm David Brody.
C
I'm terrence.
A
And I'm Dr. Gina.
B
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. Gene West Palm T Bates in Denver. Hey, guys. So, Gina, you were a victim of my ego in the last segment. I decided to, I just decided to continue to bloviate. I went into the bloviating phase. So please, Gina, I'm very curious as to what you have to say. We all are actually about the Tom Holman comments. Good morning by the way, to both of you.
A
Good morning again. And to our audience as well. You know, what you said, I thought was what caught me to a little off guard. In fact, I thought maybe I misunderstood it. So I was really glad to hear you all understand it the same way that I did. The other thing that really struck me, I believe it was when our own Ben Berkwam asked the question about what do you have to say to maga? Basically, and I loved Homan's response of hey, I'm not going to show my hand, but let me just assure you, it's going down. Like, I don't know. Just because I know Tom Holman. I've had a chance to get to know him here when he's here and have had lunches with him and things. And I believe him when he says, I'm not gonna show my hand, but it's going down. Maga's gonna be fine. You all are gonna be happy. If you'll just let us do this. I'll tell you what. That's. As probably one of the staunchest, fieriest, angriest, anti illegal immigrant people in this country, I can tell you. I was like, oh, oh. All right, all right, all right. You go, Tom. You know, I just think he is. I just. I can't help but just adore him. And I like his personality. I think he's so. Such a fit for this position at such a time as this. And I believed him. And we'll see. Terrence, I don't know.
B
Yeah, yeah.
C
I'll just add, one of the things I like about him and that I think makes him charming is that he's not a politician. He's a lawman. He doesn't speak like a politician. His body posture isn't a politician, he's a lawman. And I get the sense, David, that he doesn't even necessarily enjoy being in front of the microphone. He'd rather be in the field getting the work done and deporting the criminals. That would be his preference. That's my impression.
B
Yeah, we saw that at the beginning. Was like, I gotta read these notes. I really don't wanna do it right.
E
You know.
B
Enough with the talking points. And then he's like, you're gonna get Tom here in a moment. Just let me get through this. Which I thought was kind of funny.
A
No desire to be president ever, Right. No desire to run for any other office. Never met a lobbyist. I doubt if he even knows a lobbyist. And if he did, I'm sure he moved on quickly. I just. I feel like he doesn't have any vested interests other than the job that is set before him. This is his life's work. This is his absolute passion. He was born for this in ways that I don't think most people ever get to work a job. They were born for that. Precisely. And I think that's what makes the magic.
B
I do want to say one other piece of news, which I say, piece of news. We knew it was coming, but this is the quote this is Holman speaking. We're going to do a, quote, targeted strategic enforcement operation, and they're gonna prioritize the criminals. This is what we talked about. We knew this was coming, but we just a recap for those who didn't see it. Indeed, they are gonna go after what we thought about the worst. The worst. But I did like the fact that he did the qualifier to say, hey, that doesn't mean we're not going after people that are in this country illegally. Like, in other words, he was saying that, hey, don't think that you can come here illegally, and as long as you don't commit a crime, you're good. I love that he said that because it's true. I mean, that's not what Trump is saying here. And just because we're going after the worst of the worst at the beginning minute doesn't mean that you shouldn't be very careful about being in this country illegally, especially if you came here under the Biden administration.
A
But, David, real quick, I want to ask you, was your perception that maga, America first, will be as appeased by what he said? Were you as comforted by those words as I was? Because you talked about it so much at the top of the show? I was just curious, like, did that strike you the way it struck me, or was I just having my moment?
B
Well, I'll be honest with you. I think the question probably is right back at you whether or not you feel appeased when he said that. When I heard it, I thought that MAGA would be glad that he said that. And I'm glad Ben Berkweim asked that one question about maga, because that is. Yeah. Hat tip for sure. So I'm glad that came up. So I think to a degree, I mean, I mean, is it gonna satisfy Steve Bannon? Is it gonna satisfy folks like that? I don't think so, but at least he said it, which is good. I mean, they, you know, so I don't know. It's hard to say. Hard to say.
A
Yeah.
C
Well, look, guys, we're gonna unpack or continue to unpack what we just heard from Tom Holman throughout the next hour or so. We do want to get a quick check of our forecast, though. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by with more on what you can expect out there. Tracy, good morning.
A
Hey, good morning. You know, a lot of the country's still dealing with the cold air. However, this weekend, it's this coastal low that could be bringing the mid Atlantic some hefty. Hefty snowfall. Totals. So want to talk you through kind of what we're expecting. We're expecting this low to develop Friday into Saturday. And this, this low is expected to get very powerful very quickly as it scoots up the coast. So we already have the cold air in place, and this low is going.
G
To pump in the moisture. So we're talking very impressive snowfall totals.
A
For areas like North Carolina, South Carolina.
G
Even up to Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia.
A
So the, the latest models starting to shift this snowfall track farther down to the south and I a little farther to the east. But we still have winter storm watches.
G
That have been issued for these areas.
A
And expecting up to 8 to 12 inches of snow.
F
So that's one model outlook.
A
There are still some uncertainty in this forecast just because that low hasn't even developed yet.
G
But here's another model that's putting most of the snow out across the Outer.
A
Banks areas like Kill Devil Hills. And you know, this is, is the same area that's been dealing with beach erosion throughout the last year with the tropical system. So this system, yeah, it's a winter.
F
System, but it's going to be no different.
A
And beach erosion going to be a.
G
Big concern as well.
C
Terrence all right, Tracy, we appreciate it. We'll talk to you tomorrow. Let's get back over to David Brody now, though, folks, as we are continuing to unpack what we just heard from border czar Tom Holman, particularly as it relates to the potential government shutdown with tomorrow being the deadline. David, I suspect Democrats were watching what Tom Homan had to say pretty closely.
B
Oh, there's no doubt about that. So let's talk about that. T. Bates. We're gonna bring in Nan Hayworth now, former congresswoman, to talk about what's going on in Congress about the Tom Homan remarks this morning. Boy, there's just, I'm gonna use this word, it's above my vocabulary word list, a plethora of topics this morning. Nan, great to have you with us. What'd you make of Tom Homan's comments? We've got the Senate and the White House maybe working out a deal on DHS speake funding. I don't know. Have at it. And by the way, good morning to you.
G
Yes, good morning. It's a privilege to be with you all, so thank you. Yes, well, as we all know, the Democrats in Congress are perceiving an opportunity, and certainly they have no hesitation. We know this from the shutdown that they prolonged unprecedentedly last fall. They have no compunction whatsoever about causing suffering in America. If they feel they can make political points and arguably they may very well feel empowered because the November election in 2025 did yield some very strong results for Democrats. I think the folks who voted for them are going to come to regret it. I think Virginians may already, but unfortunately this is where we are. So they can't. While funding for Homeland Security, funding for enforcement, funding for Tom Homan and Greg Bevino and all their soldiers and troops out there, not soldiers literally, but all their agents protecting us is solid. But the Democrats are still going to be seeking to make political points based on their, of course. And their, their friends in the propaganda media pumping up stories that somehow this is industrialized and institutionalized cruelty that the Republicans and President Trump are perpetuating. So what they're going to do is now they're going to hold most of the funding's been passed for the year, but they're going to hold FEMA and air traffic control hostage if they decide to shut down the government over their opposition to what ICE enforcement is doing across the country, but especially.
F
In their.
G
Favored powder keg of Minnesota and Minneapolis.
C
Doc. But wasn't what we just heard from Tom Holman somewhat disarming to that idea? I hear you loud and clear.
B
Clear.
C
And I think we've seen it happening. I get the sense, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but what we just heard from Tom Holman disarms all of their concerns or all of what they're publicly saying because he's simply saying, we want to work with you. We want to make this easy. We want to take away face offs between our agents and the public. All you have to do is follow these rules. Let's go about it this way. It seems to me that that was disarming to that whole idea that Democrats are espousing.
G
Oh, Terrence, I agree with you entirely. Yes, Tom Homan gave a virtuoso performance. And as you pointed out, he sounds like every man. He sounds like one of us. So he doesn't sound like a zealot. He's certainly not a politician. He is there to do the job. He's there to solve the problem. That's right in line with President Trump. President Trump is a pragmatist. He is not an ideologue. Nobody is doing what they are doing to enforce our laws because they get a kick out of causing conflict or turmoil. They are doing it because these are the laws of the United States. This is how we protect the people of this country. And it is irrespective of Politics and should be. And the tone that Tom Holman struck was exactly right. And I think for Republicans in general, for those of us who believe in our constitutional republic, which I hope extends beyond the Republican Party, and I know it does, a lot of independents out there agree with us, and there are Democrats too. But it's very important for us to emphasize that what's happening in what has happened in Minneapolis, what has happened in Minnesota is entirely on the hands of the Democrats in power there. Waltz, Ellison, Fry and others. And I think part of the leverage that Tom Homan brings to this discussion on behalf of President Trump, of course, part of his leverage is probably that they have been discovered. The network, the organized, well funded, and Tom Holman referred to it, the well funded network that is setting up, essentially, he did not use this word, but I will use this word. And I'm not the only one setting up an insurrection. This seditious network is now under scrutiny. So to the extent that Waltz, Ellison and Fry and other Democrat politicians and electeds in Minnesota will respond to that pressure because consequences will ensue, that is, I think, going to be leverage against what they're doing because what they're trying to do is protect their own interests, including the massive Somali fraud ring that is a money laundering operation for the Minnesota Democrat Farmer Labor Party.
B
Nan Hay. Yeah, for sure. Nan Hayworth, great to have you today. Thank you. The doctors in the house. Thanks for making a house call, a telehealth call. We appreciate it.
G
Thank you for being here, to be with you.
A
Thank you.
F
Good to see you, Doc.
B
Sounds good. Coming up, Governor Tim Walls says Minnesota cooperates with ice.
D
What?
F
Huh?
B
But the data, by the way, is telling a very different story. Tim Wall's line. Who would have funk it?
H
We're back in a moment.
F
All the kids are leering in fake daycares.
A
That's the Molly world. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. Time now to drain the swamp.
G
And this morning, we are once again.
A
Flushing out Minnesota Governor Tim Walls. New data confirms that counties across Minnesota are frequently refusing to turn over illegal immigrants in custody to ice, contradicting claims from Governor Walz that state prisons cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. Records show that between fiscal year 2023 and early February 2025, more than 800 illegal aliens were released from Minnesota jails instead of being transferred to ice. This comes after Walz previously told President Trump that Minnesota's Department of Corrections honors all detainers. But the facts show the opposite. We want to know what you, our viewers, think. Let US know on rumble or get her. Hop on and let your voice be heard. Coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. St.
F
Minnesota.
C
New York City yes, this is New York City. We are getting ready, getting you ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It is set to ring here in about seven or eight minutes. We'll take you there live momentarily. In the meantime, here's a quick look at how pre market trading is looking. As you can see, the Dow is down. The rest of our board is in the green though, looking pretty decent. Hopefully it stays that way or even increases. We'll take you again to New York for the opening bell shortly. But now let's get you over to David Brody. David, good morning.
B
Good morning. T. Bates.
E
All right.
B
We are following the developing situation in Minnesota. We have border czar Tom Homan speaking to reporters just in the last hour or so. As you know, we've been talking about it all morning. Let's get some more now on that with Ben Berklam who was there and of course course asked Tom Homan a question. He's known Tom for a very long time. And Ben, thanks for being here. I'm so curious as to what you thought of his remarks and also kind of what's been going on here. I have a lot of questions, so I don't even know where to begin, but why don't we just say this. The liberals are going to go apoplectic when they heard him announce that Ellison, the attorney general is going to allow ICE to go basically in the local jails. They'll at least be able to be notified of when these illegal aliens are going to be released. That's a huge victory right there, Ben.
H
Yeah, the question on that end is are they going to just be notified they're being released and they're going to release them out because other jails, like I was in Southern California last week riding with ICE and there are jails down there that call ICE and say, hey, we're releasing this guy but we can't hand them over to you. So what it ends up is a street chase where they let them out the front doors and then ICE is chasing these guys down the street. I've been involved in multiple of those. Or is it going to be a coordinated secure handoff? I hope it's that I'm actually supposed to be getting with Tom, a little bit later and with more of a one on one. So that's one of the questions I'm going to ask along with what you guys have been talking about. The MAGA base, you know, this, the frustration that I had with what happened today is one, one thing, you're right, it shifts the focus. The left is going to lose their mind because they want the people that the base of the Democrat Party want. No borders, no walls, no USA at all. That's one of their chance. And so any cooperation to them is a betrayal. And so, you know, they're already attacking Tim Walls for even saying that. They're attacking Ellison for even meeting with Tom. I just, I just don't believe him. I don't believe Governor Walz, I don't believe Mayor Frey, I don't believe Ellison. I just think that, you know, they are apart, they're coordinated. We know these signal chats and, and WhatsApp chats are coordinated right up through their offices. And so that was part of why I asked the question, because that's where the prosecutions really need to happen. We need to deport every illegal, but we also need to prosecute. The biggest threat in America right now is not even the illegals. It's the traitors in our own country that are working to obstruct federal law enforcement from doing their job. And that's, I think, where the MAGA base is going to have some issues with what was said this morning.
A
Yeah, Ben, I totally hear you. And again, I guess, you know, my question is for just to absorb all of this from somebody looking in, really from the outside to hear them say we're going to concentrate first on the criminal element, which I completely understand, and whatever. But then they say, but we'll get to the regular illegals that aren't necessarily active criminals because they are all criminals. To clarify one more time, they are all criminals because they came here illegally and broke our laws to begin with. And if we don't have laws, we don't have a country. And as you pointed out, that's just fine with the Democrats. That's not fine with maga. So my question to you, Ben, is so we're supposed to believe that later down the road. And I have to say I do believe Tom Holtman has the best of intentions and will do everything in his power to ensure that he goes through with every single thing that he, he said to you in his answer to your astute question, Ben. But from a practical perspective and knowing government, I just, I guess I have Trouble saying, if you can't do it now, what makes you think you're going to be able to do it? After midterms? What makes you think you're going to be able to do it? I just don't. I don't see that long road vision being very accurate in terms of enforcement. Do you, Ben?
H
Well, actually, you had a really great point. One of the biggest wins today is the fact that Tom Holman is running this now. He's one of the guys that I have more respect for than anybody else. He has done this for longer than anybody else. And so if you want somebody in charge that's going to accomplish the mission, Tom Homan's the guy. So that alone is a, you know, should be a relief to MAGA into America. But you're right. The. The whole intent of the obstruction, all of these radical leftists that are out there blowing their whistles and calling the backups and attacking ICE off officers is simply to slow ICE down and create chaos. This is what we see every four years under every election cycle, every two years. We had, you know, in 2020, it was George Floyd. In 2024, it's Palestinians. Now it's illegal aliens, all by design. All of this was set up by the last administration knowing it was going to be this disastrous to undo it and being able to weaponize these groups until we actually prosecute people that are obstructing. And I think that even means blowing a whistle when ICE is doing an operation. If you help a bad guy escape from an operation, you should be charged as an accessory. You know, until that actually starts happening, you're not going to see any of this change. The scary thing is, I've been all over the country. I think Minneapolis is the worst city in America when it comes to this confluence of people that hate America and are working to undermine this country. When you consider the communists, leftists, jihadists, and then just the thug element in the weather that's here, you just have some really hardened, not nice people. And so that's what these guys are having to deal with. I think part of what Tom did today and part of the administration's focus is on deflecting and kind of moving this, kind of lowering the temperature, because the last thing we want is all out civil war. I say we as in, you know, people that want law and order. I think the other side actually does want that. And so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out, if it slows them down at all, if it changes the rhetoric. But you're right. We're not going to fix this. Two things real quick. We're not going to fix this until we actually have that mindset. I loved when ICE was down walking the street and border patrols walking the street, and especially in these communities that are 50, 60, 80% illegals. But you're not going to change that until there is the sense that you can't come to America illegally. And Tom addressed that. But the most important part of this is the midterms until we actually pass things in Congress. Tom said that earlier, if you want to change any of these laws, you have to pass them in Congress. The midterms are the most important strategically. Republicans are looking at that and saying what's best for us. Also, Democrats are looking at it saying what's best for us. And so that's what you're seeing play out here, whether or not, you know, it's the ultra MAGA base of saying we want mass deportations, everyone deported. Like I would like to see. Or you have, you know, the other side who's saying, hey, let's slow it down because I've got to race to win. And so all of these things are happening at the same time.
B
So, Ben, we got 30 seconds. You say we want to see everybody deported. So with Tom Homan now saying targeted enforcement operations, they're not going to be doing that, at least in the time being. And to Gina's point, will it ever get done? What's your sense? 30 seconds.
H
Not until we get a Congress that actually passes laws to make these executive orders permanent. That's the key. So midterms are the. And you know, that's make or break it for America.
A
Ben, before we let you go, I just want to point everyone to your Twitter and my Twitter, where I retweeted you probably more recently, you had the most interesting interaction. You went to a meeting there in Minnesota. And I will say, I have never seen the level of hatred and just brutal cynicism like you're talking about. I've never seen anything like it. I watched the thing in total. I want everyone to go watch it. The show is over. And when. I don't know, in the middle of the night, when there's no rap programming, I don't know. But, Ben, thank you so much.
H
David, thank you, guys.
A
Yeah, thanks.
H
Appreciate you.

We are seconds away from the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. And then we'll get an idea of how this Thursday of trading ultimately is going to pan out. You hear the applause, which means the bell is going to ring here in short order. And then we'll get the scurrying on the floor as those first sales and buys are actually tendered. So here we go, ladies and gentlemen, the opening bell going to ring here momentarily right on cue. There you have it. The markets are now officially open and let's take a quick look to see how they are looking green from top to bottom. That's a good sign. Hopefully, if you're going to be one of those people who is investing today, it will be a profitable day for you and for the people that you're working with. Still to come here on American Sunrise. Immigration remains a political win for Republicans and new polling shows that voters are still demanding tougher enforcement, fewer taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants, and accountability for employers. The numbers may actually surprise you, though. We'll talk about it next.
D
Minnesota Soda's headlines are getting wild. Tim Walls and Ilhan Omar are being accused of massive fraud and it's so bad, all you can do is laugh at this point. So from Real America's music, the label that brought you the number one hit anthem of the free, comes a brand new song from singer songwriter Natasha Owens, the Somali Waltz. Let's make the music industry mad and run this to number one. Scan the QR code or send search the Somali Waltz on itunes and buy it right now. The Somali Waltz available everywhere.

Just completely lost my IFB there you guys.

All right.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. I am Dr. Gina. We thank you for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on Getter and rumble. It is time now to take the political pulse of America. Here's the beat today. Immigration continues to be a winning issue for conservatives and a pair of recent polls prove it. One poll shows a strong majority of Americans saying it's important to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving taxpayer funded benefits like Medicaid and food stamps, even as many say the federal government is falling short of enforcement. 66% of likely voters stopping illegal immigrants say that stopping illegal immigrants from accessing government benefits really does matter, with nearly half calling it very important now. At the same time, voters are also backing a tougher approach to the job market, targeting the demand that drives illegal immigration in the first place. Nearly 70% of Americans support mandating the use of A federal E VERIFY system requiring employers to confirm that workers are legally authorized to work in the United States. Sounds so simple. Joining us now with more is the host of America's Voice Live and the Steve Gruber Show. Steven. Steve, good morning. Steve. You know, I have to tell you, I'm. I'm very bothered because a lot I obviously here in Palm Beach, a lot of industry moving here, banks moving here, a lot of corporations, lot of family offices, they're all saying the same thing. The whisper campaign here, Steve, and this terrifies me is, you know, we've got to support politicians that have a logical view on illegal immigration. You know, we just can't get Americans to do the work. We have to keep a lot of these people here. So we're going to support politicians. That means bankroll. I'm translating. We're going to support politicians who understand that reality, Steve. I don't understand why that's a reality when we still are paying billions of dollars in welfare benefits to people who are not working. I don't understand why those people can't be filling those jobs right now. And if you really want to know, I think not only do corporations not want to pay for it, but I think that they don't want the trouble. They don't want to have to make the transition from a bunch of illegals that are free, cheap, and easy. It's a form of slavery. Let's just be realistic about this. You want to talk about racism, this is where it is. But also, Steve, I think it's just a laziness. They don't want to go through what it would take to process people who are Americans to fill these jobs.
D
Gina, you seem upset.
A
I am, because I feel like the message isn't getting out there. What Ben Berkhwam said, I think is so key. Until we accept the fact that illegal is illegal, that is a crime. Stop right there. Until we accept that, and that's the narrative in our own party, we're really in trouble, Steve.
D
Well, it's true what you say. Companies want to pad their bottom line. They do. They've got cheap labor, lots of it, in a lot of places. Yes. These are Republican donors, some of them. No question about it. Big money flows in. Let's start, though, with what Donald Trump promised on the campaign trail. Worst of the worst, get them out. Let's start in Minnesota. If Minnesota had cooperated with federal authorities like every other state seems to be doing. Look, I live in Michigan. We've got a Democrat governor, Gretchen Wimmer, for eight years now, you know what? We're not rioting in the streets and attacking ICE officers here. You know why? Because if you get arrested and you're here illegally, you get detained and you get taken out of the country. Same is true all over this country. So let's start with that. Let's make sure we get rid of the people that are here, because something you just mentioned there, the welfare. Why would the people of Minnesota, for example, want to pay for people that are incarcerated in prison for them to stay there? If they're incarcerated in prison, they've been convicted of whatever the crime is, I don't care, whatever it is, send them back to wherever it is they came from. Why would they want to pick up the bill for people in the country only legally that committed crimes in this country against American citizens? Why would we pay for them to eat, sleep and. And hang out in an American prison? Goodbye. That's so simple, it's stupid. Number two, are we going to be able to get out all 20 or 25 million people in this country? Probably not. But we have to create a process so that if those that do stay get vetted. You can't just have run across the board and say, I'm here, I didn't do anything wrong. I get to stay. No, we can't have that. I don't know where this ends up, Gina, but we're not going to evict 25 million people. It's not practical, it's not possible. Barack Obama got rid of five million. I think we're at, what, two and a half million so far under Donald Trump. But we have to agree that federal law enforcement has the ability to go into a city, to a jail, to a. To a prison and say, you out, you out, you out. Be done with it. It's not even worth a discussion. It's not. And these professional agitators and anarchists in Minnesota need to be sat down and educated that you do not bum rush police, you do not spit on police, you don't kick out the taillights of their cars and pretend that you're somehow protesting. These are not mom and pop protesters with a sign they made in their garage the night before. Let's be serious about who we're dealing with. Violent elements. But I agree with you, Gina. We have to have politicians that are on board with protecting this country, making America first. There's the video. There's Alex Preddy, you know, the guy who's the hero nurse. This is a few days before he was shot and killed doing the same Thing. He was a serial agitator. He was a violent man. There it is. Kicking out the taillight of a vehicle, that's violent. He's spitting on police officers. That's violent. We cannot tolerate zero tolerance for that. If you do that, you go to jail. And that's got to be the bottom line in Minneapolis, Memphis, Montana. I don't care where. That's the bottom line. You commit violence, I don't care who you are or who you think you are, you go to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200, go straight to jail. That's where I am today.
F
I'm a little fired up.
D
Sorry, Gina. I just got a little fired up. You got me all fired up. I'll stir it up, Gina.
A
It's contagious.
B
That video we're showing you is the first time. I think we're showing that today, or at least discussing it today. That is like you said, Steve, video from. I want to say it's January 11th. Think about 12 days or so. Was it 12, I don't know, days or so before. Well, go ahead.
D
If he was there on the 11th, and he was there the day that he was in another fight with police and got shot, and he was. He's been there every step of the way, I'm guessing. I was talking to an RNC consultant today. They said there's more videos coming of this guy doing the same things. He was a serial agitator. He was a violent man. Yeah, he may have been a nurse by day, but he was a violent person at other times. And he has a consistent record. It's clear from the video record that this was a guy. And he's not the only one. They're all in this together. This is not a protest. This is an organized movement. This is a pseudo military operation being played out in the streets of Minneapolis. That's what it is. Well organized, well funded, and they are violent. There it is. Fact. This video does not lie.
B
Sure, Terrence.
C
Well, look, Steve, we want to turn now to kind of the State Department, if you don't mind, because there's a lot of news coming as well.
F
Okay.
C
I figured you wouldn't. Only because it's me, Dana. Only because it's me, Steve. And we're. We're cool like that. Earlier this week, the department announced that it's completed the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, which, of course, President Trump ordered last year. In a post on X, the department wrote, and this is a quote here, Steve. The Paris Climate Agreement undercuts American Energy independence, seeks climate finance redistribution and tries to enforce net zero compliance pressure. POTUS also saying no more. Our taxpayers will not be given to countries that do not merit financial assistance. So Steve, what do you make of all of this? And this is something that I would imagine also directly impact your state there in Michigan.
D
You know, I don't know if you guys noticed this. We're celebrating the 20th anniversary of that film called An Inconvenient Truth. Right, an inconvenience. Al Gore 2006 came out at Sundance Film Festival. 20 years of being wrong. He should celebrate. The sea's gonna rise, the glacier is gonna melt. We're all going to die. Run for your lives. How long has it been since AOC said it's going to be 12 years till we're all dead? About seven or eight. Man, we should have a bourbon and a ribeye. Just throwing it out there because we should celebrate before it's all over. These have been the biggest fear mongering lies in the history of the planet. All right, look, Germany went and turned all their coal fired power plants back on in 2023 when it was really cold because they realized, oopsie, we can't provide enough electricity to provide to our citizens because we bulldozed most of our coal fired power plants. We better turn the ones back on that we have. Look, China's building a new coal fired power plant every week, sometimes two a week. They're not even using them, they're just building them and setting them aside for future reference. What does that tell you? China knows what's up. We need AI, we need electricity, we need silver, we need copper, we need infrastructure. They're not playing, they're building for the future and putting it out for reference. And if we don't get our act together, we're going to be sitting in the dark. I mean, my gosh, two years ago in Texas they had that big cold snap and they're all in the dark in Texas. Come on America, you're smarter than that. Build coal fired power plants. Build modular nuclear. Build natural gas fired power plants. Let's get our act together. Goodbye to the Paris Climate Accords and to that stupid diversion into idiocy. Nothing good came from that. Look, China out produces us in CO2 emissions tenfold or whatever it is. Look, China produces more pollution and India combined, those two countries create more pollution than the rest of the world combined. We can sit here and drive EVs all day and they will still create more pollution than the rest of the world combined. Time for America to get its act together. We are the cleanest, greenest, industrialized nation in the history of the world. We produce more stuff in a better way and clean up after ourselves better than anybody in the world, period. So stop it.
A
Yeah, well, Paul Ehrlich, I agree with.
D
Leaving, by the way.
A
Paul Ehrlich started these lies back in the 70s and was warning that life, he knew it would be over in 10 years, remember? And wow. I think it's all. I think we've all outlived him. I'm not even sure. I think he's. I'm pretty sure he's gone now anyway, Steve, I want to turn now to.
D
I think he's feeding the earth.
A
Yes. Probably still warning Big a bunch of lies that he probably actually believes from the grave. Our national parks. Right on topic here. The Trump administration has ordered the removal of dozens of signs from national parks media which refer to climate change and America's supposed evil treatment of Native Americans and other groups. This includes signs at the Grand Canyon, Big Bend and others. You know, it was fascinating. I was at the Kennedy Center Awards Honors, and I met the guy who's in charge of this, and I asked him to come on the show. He said, I'm working so hard right now, I honestly can't. But he was telling me before I knew any of this, before it was published, that he's going around not just to state parks, but to, you know, places like Mount Vernon and places like Monticello and some of the others, you know, where they're saying, you know, oh, well, yeah, well, you know, so and so was a good president, but he did own slaves and did, you know, and all of the gossip in innuendo about that instead of focusing on what they did do. Well, so this is an exciting time. This is one of the great things that I don't even think the left has seen coming yet. But they've been infiltrating our parks and monuments for so long. This is a restoration. Yeah.
D
Let me give you one more example. I'm going to tie climate change together with this. The Jackson Glacier, Glacier National Park, Montana. They had signs there until about three or four years ago that climate change would eliminate this glacier within five years. Guess what? Jackson Glacier is still there today. Surprise. It hasn't left yet. Now, are we in climate change?
B
Yes.
D
Is there global warming? Yes. It's been going on for about 12,000 years. And are we living on stolen land? Apparently, the whole world lives on stolen land. All right? There have been wars and boundaries recently drawn, and things move and things change. Stop it. This is America 2026. Think about what's next. Not living in the past. Stop it. We have a country to save. And being distracted by that nonsense is no good for any of us. I'm glad they're taking those signs down. I'm glad. About time.
A
Yeah. It's a good message to the world. And so thank you so much, Steve Gruber. They are the old archaic ones. You know, the word progressive really applies a lot more to the people doing things that cause progress. Steve, thanks a lot.
D
Thank you.
A
All right, we're only a few weeks into winter and already brutal. Cold, huge snowstorms, and of course, power outages. Think about this. If the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm? This is a real problem. As Steve just talked about in our last block, winter power outages can even be life threatening, like in Texas. As you mentioned just a few years ago, that's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off grid heater from my Patriot supply. It's a space heater that doesn't use electricity or propane. It runs on something called canned heat, which is an indoor safe fuel with a vista stashed in your closet. You know you're gonna have a way to keep warm no matter what, even if it doubles as a stove to cook your food. And that's pretty cool. You can cook your food with a too. The best part right now, you can get the Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts. When you order the winter survival kit from my Patreon supply, just go to my patriotsupply.com rav to see everything included. This offer won't last long, so go to my patriotsupply.com rav today. That's my patriotsupply.com Rav get all those free goodies and be sure you're going to stay warm. I'll tell you, with the temperatures dropping even here in Florida, I'm carrying blankets and coats around with me. Got to make sure we stay warm. All right. Still more to come on American Sunrise. Rav's own David Zier. It's going to be in the 30s, you guys. Don't laugh. He was at the Spacecom conference in Orlando. He's going to join us after the break for a full breakdown of all the cool tech gadgets and things happening with space. Stay with us.
D
Let's spill some tea.

And we're talking about rav's very own David Zier, who is in Orlando right now for the spacecom conference. In fact, he had an opportunity to sit down with the the commander of Space Command, General Stephen Whiting. Here is part of his interview.
H
I have to start by talking about the U.S. space Force.
F
I'm a Space Force officer and we get the lion's share of our capability.
B
From the Space Force and they're an incredibly important partner. But the army, the Navy, the Air.
F
Force and the Marines also give me.
D
Forces and people and all of that.
B
Together we use to defend American interests in space.
F
And it really does take all of us and the expertises of all the.
B
Services and to achieve this outcome.
F
And so, you know, I'm very privileged.
B
To get to work with members from.
F
All of those branches and I see.
B
Their strengths, each and every.
C
David Zier joining us live now. David, I'm invoking my inner Trekkie. It says that, you know, space is the final frontier. And really this administration kind of sees space as kind of the next frontier, if you will. There's no doubt, Terrence. And a part of Trump's defense acquisition executive order codified by the NDAA is.
B
To get get stuff out at speed.
C
And scale in partnership with private industry, spacecom, civilian and military applications on display.
B
Here at Orange County Convention Center.
C
It's really incredible. Robot arms, space armor for a satellite reps from spaceports around the world, you know, but I spoke with NASA reps yesterday. 40 miles away is Cape Kennedy, Cape Canaveral here. And they're going to do a launch for the Artemis 2 mission. It's one of the largest launches ever. That's going to probably be next week.
F
They're doing a wet dress rehearsal in.
C
A few days and then a manned mission to the moon trying to beat.
B
The Chinese back there. Big threats.
C
The Chinese are trying to secure 100,000 orbits for satellites.
F
To give you an idea that scale.
C
Starlink has about 10,000 satellites or less so. And they also have direct energy weapons that can take down our satellites.
B
Space is the new theater of combat.
C
I sat down with the commander of Space Command here. Why space is so important. Other countries have anti satellite missiles, terrestrial based direct energy laser weapons, forcing us.
F
To put product deeper into space.
C
Munitions that can be shot from killer satellites, robotic arms attached that could damage our equipment. And new report that Russia may have.
F
A nuclear WMD in space.
C
A big threat to all of our satellites. It's game over if something like that happened.
F
By the way, I'm waiting for Billy Howell, carefree Largo to join me on.
B
The ground here today for some fun at Spacecom 2026.
C
All right, so I think you just made it very clear this is all about fun. You're not really working, you're just cloaking your work in fun. David, always good to see you, my friend. I actually envy you today because I would love to be there. Very interesting stuff. David's here on the ground there in Orlando. We appreciate you being here with us. More American Sunrise coming your way right after this.
A
All right, welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Chi. Thanks for being with us today. It is now time for the one to watch. And David, we want to know what are you keeping an eye on today?
B
Yeah, well, so much for lowering the rhetoric. Guys, this is a truly insane story. There's a Democrat candidate in Ohio. It's the Ohio Attorney general candidate, one of them. He's under fire after posting a stunning message on social media claiming he plans to. This is a quote, kill Donald Trump Elliott forum. A former state representative said the comment was met in a legal context. He was describing a hypothetical criminal conviction and capital punishment for the sitting president. Take a look. You tell me what you think when you hear him talk. Here, look at this.
D
Hi, this is Elliot Forhan, candidate for Ohio Attorney General.
E
I want to tell you what I.
D
Mean when I say that I am going to kill Donald Trump.
C
I mean I'm going to obtain a.
D
Conviction rendered by a jury of his.
F
Peers at a standard of proof beyond.
E
A reasonable doubt based on evidence presented at a trial conducted in accordance with.
F
The requirements of due process, resulting in.
D
A sentence duly executed of capital punishment. That is what I mean when I say that I'm going to kill Donald Trump.
B
You know, it's one thing to be dangerous. It's another thing to be stupid and dangerous. Gina. Terence, really? This is where we're at. An Ohio State attorney general candidate saying that. Gina, care to comment?
A
Well, he wanted national news attention, and he's getting it all over the place.
B
Darn it.
A
He's all over social.
F
I gave it to him.
A
He's all over social media. By the way, I was so thrown by his. Let's just say, his outfit. He's very Billy Bob. I'm trying to understand why he looks, I don't know, a little more down to earth than he sounds. He sounds like he's a little lost. Probably a little mental. Needs to wash his hair. Terrence. I don't know. I think he's an idiot. I don't know.
C
You think he's an idiot? I confirm he's an idiot. Dr. Gene. I'll just go all in. I'm going head first. He's an absolute idiot. And that response we just heard is a cya because he basically threatened a president, which, last I looked, is a crime that. That could land you behind bars. And so what you just heard is him trying to cya, and you know what that means, and he was trying to be provocative and appeal to a base in order to get elected. He is an idiot. I'm just gonna go.
B
What does it mean exactly? Oh, I'm sorry.
F
No, never mind.
A
Look, I.
H
He was.
C
He was trying to cover his hind parts.
A
That might. That might work in. In some states. I don't know about Ohio, though. Anyway, you guys, thanks for joining us today. War Room is up next with the great Steve Bannon. Hug your children, love God, go boldly. Tomorrow's Friday, you guys.
F
Hey.
C
Yes.
