Just ahead on American Sunrise, a former FBI director, the former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed in a broad DOJ investigation out of Florida into alleged misconduct conduct by government officials starting with the 2016 election. Probe advocates say it targets those they claim sought to undermine Donald Trump. And more than 130 subpoenas have been issued who could be served. Next, we're going to take a look. Plus, more firepower for the fight. Secretary of War Pete Hegset says Pentagon is heading back to Congress to ask for more money for the Iran war effort. Will lawmakers back the mission? Missouri Congressman Mark Alford will join us live. Also later, Iran executes a teenage wrestler and the world reacts. A 19 year old put to death after torture, after protests as human rights groups claim forced confessions and unfair trials. Now fears more executions could follow. We have these stories. So much more as American SUNRISE starts right now.
David Brody
Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to AMERICAN sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
David Brody
Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody. I'm terrence.

And I'm Dr. Gina.
Dr. Gina
Happy Friday. Good morning. It's Puppy Friday. It's Freedom Friday. I'm Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Emily Fenn is in studio with me here in the Palm Beaches. And David Brody is in Washington, D.C. good morning, everybody.
Emily Finn
Good morning. Love the pink on you, Gina. That is so bright. That looks awesome.
Dr. Gina
It's very bright. It's like a neon today.
Emily Finn
It's a great color for Friday.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Thank you.
David Brody
I love it. Does it have an on off switch as well?
Dr. Gina
It looks great. Yes. And a flashing one, too, David.
David Brody
No, Very flashing.
Dr. Gina
Okay.
David Brody
Hey, let's get to some news once again. What do we, we always do news, I guess, here and commentary with emphasis on the commentary. All right. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ladies, spoke at a press conference. He is alive, by the way, and he has five fingers. Yesterday he talked about the ongoing conflict with Iran and how Israel didn't push President Trump into this war. However, there was one comment he made that's turning heads this morning. Let's take A look at it also
Benjamin Netanyahu
wrote the Lessons of history, very brief, 100 page book in which he said, well, history proves that unfortunately and unhappily, Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. Because if you are strong enough, ruthless enough, powerful enough, evil will overcome good, aggression will overcome moderation. So you have no choice. If you look at the world as it is today, you have to be blind not to see that the democracies led by the United States have to reassert their will to defend themselves.
David Brody
I defer to the Woman in pink. Dr. G. Your thought?
Dr. Gina
Well, it shows that he has absolutely no concept, and neither does this author, whoever they're talking about, of the sovereign nature of God and, and the omnipotence, omniscience, and absolute vast power of Jesus Christ. But you wouldn't expect him to, you know, he's not a Christian, but this definitely, definitely brought on a lot of fodder out there in social media. Emily.
Emily Finn
Yeah, certainly did. I hear that he said that evil will always conquer good. I mean, it just didn't really make a whole lot of sense what he was saying. Can't say that I would agree with that at all, David. That's pretty, pretty, pretty dumb.
David Brody
So I have a different take, shockingly here. Oh, no. And I can't wait to get to the chat.
Dr. Gina
I can't wait to get to the chat. I'm gonna calm down before you start, David. Hang on.
David Brody
Everybody take a sedative. All right, look, look, here's the thing. Guess what? This just in, and we agree with this as believers. Evil is a problem in this world and it can overcome good in this world I'm talking about.
Dr. Gina
That's not what he said.
David Brody
We see evil all the. Well, hang on, let me give the context, the full context of what he was talking about. He was quoting a book by a very noted historian who was talking about, in this world there will be evil, and many times evil does overcome good. And it's true. I mean, history shows that. And so this idea, of course it's true.
Dr. Gina
That's not true.
David Brody
Absolutely.
Dr. Gina
Evil never overcomes.
David Brody
Well, check with Hitler on that. Check with Hitler on that. And the 6 million Jews have died. I mean, what do you mean?
Dr. Gina
A lot of Christians died too. Evil never overcomes good, David. Never.
David Brody
No, no, the difference is, I think
Dr. Gina
perhaps the problem is the translation.
David Brody
That's not true. That's not true.
Dr. Gina
God overcome. We know he wins in the end. And God can at any moment, he is. God is never powerless to evil. I guess that.
David Brody
But you didn't let me.
Dr. Gina
Okay, go ahead.
David Brody
You didn't let me finish my whole. Of course, in the end, those are the key words. That's what you and I agree on. That's the tie that binds. Agreed. In the end. But here on this world, sometimes evil does win out. There's no doubt about that. But in the end, God wins. You know, I read the last page in the Bible. So did you. So did you, Emily. We know that God wins. Good. Jesus Christ overcomes it all in the end. We know that that's not what he was. He was talking about war. He's talking about evil in this world as it is today. That's the difference. The key context is three words in the end. That's my point.
Dr. Gina
That's my point. It struck me as a little strange for him to comment on Jesus when he doesn't believe in Jesus. And I don't understand contextually where he was even going with this. And generally speaking, when I quote authors, I do it because I really love what they say. Right. You know, when you quote historians, you really. This is. I want to communicate this point by someone that I know was really brilliant on this.
David Brody
That's fair.
Dr. Gina
I don't understand where he was going with this. I think it was not his best moment. Let's just say that. Emily, do you have any final comments on that?
Emily Finn
Yeah, sorry. There were so many times I wanted to jump in there, but I thought I was going to get hit by the flying punches.
Dr. Gina
Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
Emily Finn
No, that was entertaining to listen to. Yeah, I'm with you on that, Gina. Doesn't really seem to make a whole lot of sense to me. I just. The only thing I want to say, I think about the concept of martyrdom, right? A whole lot of people, you know, died in the name of Jesus Christ. A lot of evil happened to them. But that death was good in the end. They did it, you know, to be able to spread the message further. So I think there always is good in the end. Good always does conquer. Truth always does win. So that's kind of my thought on that.
David Brody
In the end, we all agree. In the end, for sure, we can.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, but he left that part out very, very notably. Could be. I know there are lots of good scriptures that we could go to right in this moment, such as, all things work together for the good of those who love God and live according to his precepts. But Ephesians 2, 14, 16 says, for he himself is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the middle Wall of separation. Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed by Justice Department prosecutors as part of a broad Florida based investigation into the government's handling of Russian interference in the 2016 election and alleged conduct by officials. The probe reviewing actions by intelligence and law enforcement figures from Obama and Biden administrations both more than 130 subpoenas so far issued. I want to bring in Missouri Congressman Mark Alford. Congressman, want to ask you about accountability in all of this, but I want to give you a chance to suppose where in the world Netanyahu was going on that comment.
Congressman Mark Alford
Hey, good to see you guys. Look, it doesn't really matter. It was AI, wasn't it? Wasn't that all he said?
David Brody
That's right.
Congressman Mark Alford
You know what?
David Brody
Does it really matter?
Congressman Mark Alford
No, look, if you study the Bible, which I don't do enough time doing, I should do more. But Romans 12 has the answer for this. We're called to leave. You know, Paul was encouraging the Romans to lead a transformed life in Romans 12. And in 1221 he says, do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. That is our responsibility as Christians. We live in a fallen world. It started with Adam and Eve and we've gone downhill ever since. Now we had good. You know, good things happen because of Jesus Christ and his salvation for us, of course. But I think to David's point, we live in a fallen world. We know as Christians how it ends. You know, I pray for Bibi's salvation and maybe he will come to Christ someday and get that concept. But, but until then, we do have to realize that we are dealing with evil. It is our responsibility to be filled with the Holy Spirit through the word of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible and prayer and supplication to arm ourselves. Ephesians 6, put on the full armor of God. And that's what we're called to do, to fight this evil. Because our battle is not against. Our battle necessarily is not against Iran. As Christians, our battle is against the evil principalities that we can't even see here on Earth. It is a battle between good and evil.
David Brody
Wow. Love it. Is this Friday or Sunday? I'm not quite sure now if there's hands.
Congressman Mark Alford
We're going to pass the play here
Perry Johnson
in a little bit.
David Brody
All right. Well, we were going to ask you about Comey. You can weigh in about Comey, but also maybe a twofold thing, Comey and the war, because we got Secretary of War Pete Heck says, I mean, the Pentagon wants basically $200 billion or the White House does for this war. What's your take on that? And Comey and any other Bible verses you want to give us? Whatever you want.
Congressman Mark Alford
Sorry, I did sound a little preachy, didn't I?
Dr. Gina
Hey, look, that's all allowed on this show anytime you want, Congressman.
David Brody
Not on cnn. We knew.
Congressman Mark Alford
I would love to get on CNN and preach a little bit. Hey, we knew this was going to be coming. We don't know the exact figure yet. 200 billions still kind of a round figure. We've got to get look into this. I think Ken Calvert, our chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee for Defense and our, our chair Tom Cole are going to be talking to the White House in more detail. I don't want to get ahead of them, but we knew this was coming. Look, the chair of the Joint Chief said that our munitions were a concern before we struck Iran. So we know that we have to resupply our munitions and we know that we've got to speed up production of munitions. That's why Pete Hegseth was here in Missouri just a couple of weeks ago talking to folks at Boeing about speeding up production, keeping the quality of work. But we have to re supply our munitions. We, we've sold a lot to foreign nations, we've given a lot to Ukraine and we've got to make sure that we're able to carry out the, the, the mission of the United States of America for our own national security. And that requires replenishing our munitions.
Emily Finn
CONGRESSMAN, Only about 30 seconds before we let you go here, but I want to get your thoughts on this headline from the Hill. It reads, Jim Jordan reverses long held position on spy powers and says he will back Trump extension of FISA. Jordan voted against reauthorization in 2024, now says it's a short term extension of. Your thoughts? 30 seconds here.
Congressman Mark Alford
Well, look, I have not come to a conclusion on how I'm going to vote on the FISA renewal. There have been issues in the past. The last renewal period there were some reforms made. Jim Jordan pointed to that. You know, when you get in these skiffs and you hear exactly what's going on and you have some of the same information that the speaker of the House and the President, United States Secretary of War and those in the intelligence world have, it kind of changes your idea about why, why the FISA courts need this information without warrants. I think as basic Americans though, in my district, we want warrants. We don't want ordinary citizens being caught up in communications that they are intercepting from overseas individuals, foreign nationals. But that sometimes happens and we've got to make sure that American citizens are protected. I'm still looking at this, and we'll
David Brody
see how it goes.
Dr. Gina
Congressman, you know, Bible debates notwithstanding, we appreciate so much you being here and breaking down what's happening for us. And your perspective from Congress is always interesting, especially since you're from the Show Me State.

The top headlines we are following this morning. Ukraine peace talks are stalled as global tensions shift to the Middle East. The Kremlin signals negotiations are on pause as the US Focuses on escalating conflict involving Iran. Officials say that shift has delayed diplomatic efforts with both sides still far apart. Meanwhile, Ukrainian leaders warn the distraction could give Russia an edge on the battlefield. Meanwhile, a gold commemorative coin featuring President Donald Trump is moving closer to reality, the Treasury Department using its authority over commemorative coins after a federal arts panel approved the design. That approval clears the way for the US Mint to move forward as part of plans marking America's 250th anniversary. Supporters call it a fitting tribute, while critics question the process and break with tradition. And Iran has executed a teenage wrestler sparking global outrage over its crackdown on protesters. 19 year old Salah Mohamedi was put to death along with two others after being accused of killing security officers during January's anti government protests. Iranian authorities say the men confessed, but human rights groups claim those confessions were forced to and the trials were unfair. The executions are among the first linked to the latest wave of protests which were met with a deadly crackdown and thousands of arrests. We do want to turn now from our top headlines to our forecast. And joining us for that is Weather Nation's Tracy Anthony. Be sure to leave your name and city in the chats and you might receive a hometown forecast from Tracy. Good morning to you. Great to see you. What can we expect to see in our forecast today? Tracy?
Tracy Anthony
Hey, good morning. Yeah. With the hometown forecast subject. Just want to say I already have one from THE EARLY show so drop it in there now and I'll see it. We are still talking about heat. It's going to be historic. We have had over 500 cities break record high temperatures in the last week. 65 cities in the last week have broken their all time March record. So we are extremely warm. And this heat is going to stick around into the weekend. It's going to cause fire danger across the Central Plains. And then we do have a little moisture with some systems rolling across the northern tier of the country. But it is this heat dome or this ridge of high pressure that's just going to hunker down and stick around. We're talking temperatures 20, 30 degrees above average for this time of year. So it's also melting a lot of snow. Snow. So that's not going to be the best news with all of the snow melting very, very quickly. Areas across the northwest, 1 to 2ft of snow melting with these warm temperatures in just 48 hours. And we're going to have record high temperatures well through the weekend. It stretches all the way up to areas like North Dakota and it will stick around into early next week. But a few of us do have a big cool down into early next week. We are going to have an Arctic blast for the Great Lakes region. So Emily, really it's stay cool this weekend. I know we like the heat. That's why we live in Florida. But areas Bismarck, North Dakota, I don't know if they're going to be so thrilled about 72 degrees.
Emily Finn
Yeah. Like you said, everything in moderation. Right. Too much heat too fast. You know, that can have some negative implications. But it's better than super duper cold. I don't know, Tracy, that like you said, that's why we live in Florida. You are certainly bringing the heat this morning. Appreciate you. We'll check in with you again during the next hour. Yeah. All right. Up next, President Trump says he's not planning to send ground troops into Iran for now, even as the war escalates. What his strategy means and could that change? We have expert analysis ahead, but first, a quick look at today in history. It was on this date in 1854 the Republican Party is founded in Wisconsin. The party was formed by anti slavery activists and it emerged in response to the Kansas Nebraska act, which allowed slavery to expand into new territories. The movement quickly quickly grew, uniting former Whigs and other opposed others opposed to slavery and would soon rise to national power during the Civil War. We have more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick with us.

Mystic, Connecticut, some country music. Gotta love that God, grit and guns, which makes me think of grits, which I'm very hungry right now. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. All right, so did Israel act alone when it came to the strikes against the South Pars gas field in Iran? President Trump said they did. And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did indeed confirm that at a press conference yesterday. So take a look at what he said about that and also the future of the Iranian regime. Here it is.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Fact number one, Israel acted alone against the Slawiya gas compound. Fact number two, President Trump asked us to hold off on future attacks, and we're holding out. What do we see? What happens if the. Are there any signs that the Iranian regime is cracking? A lot of signs. A lot of signs. I wish I could divulge all of them, but I see that. But will I tell you, will I commit right now that it's going to collapse? I can tell you that we're working to create the conditions for it to collapse. But it may survive, it may not. If it survives, it'll be a lot weaker. There's no comparison. It'll be at its weakest point.
David Brody
All right, for analysis, we now have the founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. That would be Dr. Zudi Jasser. Dr. Jasser, thanks for being here. Wondering about the war. Where you think it stands now, where it's going, and it's nice to see that Benjamin Netanyahu is alive. To all the conspiracy theorists out there.
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Yeah, absolutely. There's no doubt that this is war is being waged just masterfully. And not only are they way ahead of schedule, but they've finished with the first stage, which was to eliminate the IRGC's regional capacity with missiles and drone swarms, etcetera, decreasing from the hundreds down to the tens and, and minimal. But actually, now they're beginning stage two, which is in order for the regime, the irgc, to be strangulated. Their economic influx, the ability to have a capacity to pay their soldiers, to pay their. Their henchmen, if you will, needs to be stopped. And that was part of what the strategy was with knocking out their natural gas fields is, listen, as much as they don't want to hurt the infrastructure of Iran so that the people will have a functioning country, there's also the fact that that natural gas field provides a lot of the revenue and production for the capacity of the regime to continue through this sort of massive destruction that they're going through. So ultimately, and that's why Qatar got upset, because Qatar shares some of those gas fields with them. But, you know, looking strategically, the people are already going into the Streets we see if you look at Qatari media, if you look at Qatari media, they have said that we are winning, that the west is destroying Iran and the Qatar Qatari said that they do not have any. They made the Iranian people Persona Iranian, I'm sorry, soldiers Persona non grata. So that is a shift where you have the Islamists that were cozy with Iran now saying we are completely with the west, they are decimating Iran. And there really is now beginning to see some light at the end of this war tunnel, if you will.
Dr. Gina
Also, President Trump says he does not currently plan to send ground troops into Iran. Take a look at this.
Donald Trump
No, I'm not putting troops anywhere. If I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you, but I'm not putting troops and we will do whatever is necessary to keep the price as low. I actually thought when I did this, look, the dow just hit 50,000 a couple of weeks ago. They said that couldn't happen for four years. It wouldn't happen in my term. It's such an outrageous thing because I said it would happen. I didn't know it was going to happen that fast. But just hit 50,000 and we did that in one year, not 4s and P had just hit 7,000. They said that was even more impossible than the Dow hitting 50. And we did that in one year. So it's all done. Everything was going great. The economy was great, oil prices were very low, gasoline was dropping to. I mean, we had $1.99, 85. We had great everything. And I saw what was happening in Iran and I said, I hate to make this excursion, but we're going to
David Brody
have to do it.
Dr. Gina
Dr. Chasser, do you see ground troops being needed?
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Well, listen, you know the previous examples that people refer to as ground troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and this is completely different. This is Iran has an indigenous organic revolution happening. We do not need troops that will go into Iran. But there are certain places we've been sending troops surgically, whether it's to Somalia, what we call an over the horizon strategy to knock out terror groups, etc. There might be need for troops, small deployments to protect the Straits of Hormuz to get them, whether it's to help allow the movement of ships through the straits and also to Kharge island where the predominant distribution of oil comes through. Almost 90% of Iran's oil comes through that. So if we're going to facilitate the transmission of that oil to the people of Iran and not to the irgc, a small deployment to that would be not only safe with all our other troops that are there in ships, etc. It would be simply a facilitating of a strategy to transfer power over the next three to six months or where it might be. But that's different than a ground deployment into Iran which will not be necessary with with really handing over the country. Hopefully post IRGC to the people of Iran.
Emily Finn
We do want to get your your take on this headline as well from npr. It says as overseas terrorists regroup is the Iran war increasing danger in the U.S. incidents in New York Old Dominion University here in the US have occurred. Want to see if you think that that is going to continue happening throughout the US and how can we put a stop to that?
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Yeah, remember that these attacks have been happening domestically even before this war started at a certain amount of periodicity because of the millions of unvetted unfettered migration of radical Islamists into our shores through our border because of the Obama Biden era. Now that's going to uptick a bit because the hive mind is under threat in Tehran but that ultimately we are seeing the beginning of the end of forever wars and the thousands upon thousands of attacks in America and the west that happened have will ultimately decrease after the small spike. It's like treating cancer patient initially will get sicker with chemotherapy but we need to ultimately treat that cancer in Iran and ultimately make our homeland safer with the beginning of the end of forever wars because of the thousands of attacks. Many of these attacks, whether it's synagogues or our troops or wherever it might be have been happening even before the war. So we're dealing with this problem now and it will decrease after a few months of possibly an uptick. So people need to be vigilant and yes, the Islamists on our shores are a threat.

All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thank you for joining us. Time now for today's health news sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope. Today, a major warning about ultra processed foods and your heart health. A new study finds people who eat large amounts of foods like chips, soda and packaged snacks faced a significantly higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Researchers say the more you eat, the higher the risk, with some studies showing a substantially higher rate of major cardiovascular events among heavy consumers. Experts warn these foods, often high in sugar, salt and additives, may drive inflammation and long term heart damage. But remember, salt isn't bad for you. We know that now. It's like so many things that we used to think were bad. Health officials are urging Americans to cut back on processed foods and shift toward whole, fresh foods. All right, the Trump administration has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. But the reality, there's only so much the government can do. With tax season underway, experts say women can boost savings by taking advantage of key credits and deductions. From childcare independent care credits to retirement contributions, strategic planning, these can all lower your tax bills. Financial advisors also urge maximizing health savings accounts and tracking side income. As more women join the gig economy, planning early can help build long term financial security. And that's what it's all about. Let's bring in the host of women, wealth and what matters and the author of Deduct Everything. Hundreds of tax tips, legal write offs, credits and loopholes. Tracy Burns. Tracey, good to have you. What are some of the best tips you have for women this tax season?
Emily Finn
Yeah, so there's a bunch of new things in the one big beautiful bill act. But don't forget the old staples like the child tax credit if you have kids, the dependent care credit if you're taking care of kids, even if you're taking care of elderly parents, which so many women in that sandwich generation are these days. See if you qualify for that. If you are a lower income family, do not forget about that earned income tax credit. That's up to $8,000 you can get back if indeed you qualify. A lot of people leave these things on the table because they're afraid they might do it wrong and they might get audited. Just follow the rules. If you qualify, take it. It's your money. Keep as much of it as you can.
Dr. Gina
Also, Tracy, tell us about your book deduct Everything. What are some of the main takeaways you want readers to have?
Emily Finn
Yeah. So women in particular in hospitality and work on tips, pay attention to now the ability to deduct some of your tip income. You get up to $25,000 deduction on that. Women also are in healthcare. Work overtime. Again, you get a $12,500 deduction. Now, if you qualify on your overtime, and you mentioned the gig economy, a lot of women are like, I'm doing this myself. I'm starting my own business. Female entrepreneurialism is on a high. Make sure you take all the things you qualify. If you're filing a schedule C, deduct what you deserve. If you truly have a home office, don't be afraid. A lot of people are afraid to take a home office. Granted, if your home office is part office, part playroom, it's not a home office. But if you have a legit home office, take the deduction. Again, take what you deserve, dare I say, deduct everything you deserve because it is your hard Money, hard earned money. And you deserve to keep as much of it as you can.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I know a lot of my friends have made their animals, their dogs or cats into business mascots. And then you can deduct the business mascot, your dog or cat, the feeding, the veterinary, all the rest. I don't do that because I've never figured out how. But tell us what your. You know, a lot of people are investing in real estate today. Tell us what your favorite depreciation deductions are.
Emily Finn
Right. So there's a ton of great stuff out there now, especially if you Airbnb. So pay attention to all those rules. As a matter of fact, I did a whole chapter on the book on this because a lot of people are doing this. Make sure it's a business, it's not rental income, it's not a hobby. There's a bunch of distinctions you need. When you buy equipment now, you get full depreciation on certain things. So it's really important that you go armed and prepared with all your facts when you sit down with your tax preparer, if indeed you are not doing it yourself, and give them as much information as possible. Remember, your preparer is only as good as the information he or she receives. So the more you go and give and prepare, the more you have the ability to get stuff back. And again, if you're using the tax software, they walk you through this. Just be patient, take your time, answer every question, and you will get as much money back as possible.
Dr. Gina
Also, boats and cars can be deductible. Tell us about that.
Emily Finn
So depending on what it's for, there's a new. If you buy a new car and you get a loan, you could potentially get up to $10,000 back on that loan. So there's a lot of people that try to put their boats through and say, I entertain on this thing, so I'm going to deduct it. You can't do that. But there are certain rules, I suppose if you are living on it and you can prove that it is your primary residence, be very careful. But again, follow the rules. If you qualify, by all means, take the deduction.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, some of this stuff, my husband, even though it's right there, he won't do it because he's like, that's an audit flag. That's an audit flag. I'm not going to do it. It's just not worth it. So you do have to pay attention. But like you said, talk to your tax preparer and you know, these days you can honestly, you can ask chatgpt questions like how likely am I, how much more likely am I to get audited if I deduct X under these circumstances? And sometimes it'll answer your questions for you too. So, Tracy, sounds like this book is a very valuable one. I'm looking forward to reading it. Thank you so much for being here.
Emily Finn
Thank you for having me.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, absolutely. All right, coming up, Bruce Springsteen sparking controversy. Fans blasting sky high ticket prices with some seats costing thousands of dollars. This from the blue collar guy, right? While others take issue with the tour's political message. Is he out pricing his own audience? We have the details next on American Sunrise.

Welcome back. Coffee pods are easy, but most of them are just caffeine and nothing else. Rejuvenate pods are built differently. They're clean pods infused with caakg, a compound linked to longevity, metabolism and deep cellular energy. It's the easiest way to get better focus, smoother energy and long term benefits without changing your routine. I choose them because they match the lifestyle. I want more energy, more clarity and more intention in how I start my day. If you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually supports the life you're building. Head to 1775 Coffee.com Rav and try rejuvenate pods today. Don't just drink coffee, rejuvenate. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it's time to stay awake, not woke. And today we are discussing Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen is facing backlash from some fans over high ticket prices for his new Land of Hope and Dreams tour, which features political messaging that some say slams President Trump. Some tickets are reportedly costing thousands of dollars, sparking criticism from fans who say the prices clash with his working class image. Some critics also argue the costs undercut the tour's message, with many saying average supporters are being priced in out. Let's now bring in chart topping recording artist and the singer behind the boss, Natasha Owens. Appreciate you being with us this morning, Natasha. Want to get your thoughts on this with. With Springsteen. I mean, some of these ticket prices are just absolutely crazy.
Natasha Owens
You can't make it up. Bruce Springsteen built his entire legacy as a voice for the working man, but a lot of people can't even afford to see him anymore. Recently, he put out a song called Minneapolis Streets, demonizing ice, President Trump, and anyone who really supports law and order. Then he announced a Hopes and Dreams no Kings tour. The seats are costing over $4,000 for the nosebleed sections, and people are really upset about this. Fans are starting to feel like they're not just priced out, but they're being pushed out at these prices. You absolutely need a ticket, hopes, dreams, and a second job in order to afford it. It's unbelievable.
Emily Finn
That is pretty funny, Natasha. I know that's something you would never do to your fans. Tell us a little bit more about the music that you've been working on. Everyone loves the song the Boss.
Natasha Owens
Well, that's why we put out the Boss, because he supposedly had built his entire career being the voice of the working man. He took that voice away. Normal Americans who believe in patriotism, freedom, law and order just don't line up with him anymore. So we decided to give a voice back. The Boss is a song about just a former fan who is so disappointed in him and letting him know that we're not following him anymore.
Emily Finn
Well, I think that message was certainly, certainly clear. Tell us, what are going to be the next steps for you in your music career with the success of the Boss? I think there's a lot of fans that want more music from you, Natasha.
Natasha Owens
Well, you know, we've never chased the headlines until recently with the Somali Waltz and then the Boss. There's something about people who just feel helpless and they feel like they don't have a voice, and I want to give that back to them. It's kind of in your face. This is how I feel. It's retribution, and people are loving that. So who knows? The Democrats and Bruce Springsteen are constantly giving us things and topics to talk about and sing about, so you never know what's next. So stay tuned. I know the next song we're putting out is America 250 for the anniversary of our country.
Emily Finn
So exciting. I am hearing from the control room that you're going to be performing at CPAC as well. So a lot of great things happening for Natasha Owens. We so appreciate you joining us this morning and keep fighting the good fight with, with music. We appreciate you. Thank you all right. Coming up, a powerful new book is sparking conversation. Lead with Faith challenges readers to live boldly and put their beliefs into action every day. Why? It's striking a chord. We ask that question next on American Sunrise.
David Brody
God bless the usa. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
Dr. Gina
All right. Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is now time for our moment of faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus today, a new book from Pastor Alan Jackson is gaining attention. Lead with Faith, it's called. It offers biblical insight and practical tools to help people live out their faith and everyday life. The book encourages readers to stand for truth with clarity, courage and purpose right where they are. It also challenges individuals to let faith guide their decisions, their conversations, their actions with the goal of making a lasting impact. Let's bring in the man himself, Pastor Allen Jackson. Pastor, thank you so much for being with us. Tell us a little bit about what the impetus was with the book.
Pastor Alan Jackson
Well, I serve a congregation and I became aware that, you know, the church is filled with people with amazing leadership skills in business, in academia, in all sorts of hobbies. I mean, there are many people who have opinions that others care about, but somehow we didn't have the confidence to take our faith into those same arenas. And so I began encouraging these world class leaders to lead with faith and not just lead with their technical expertise. It's how we change the marketplace. It's how we change our schools, it's how we change our homes. We don't want to leave our faith in the church building. We want to take it with us when we go to work.
Dr. Gina
And what does that look like in real terms? Because, I mean, you can't just go in and start evangelizing if you work at, you know, whatever computer company, whatever, if you're an employee. But if it's your company, what are the parameters there?
Pastor Alan Jackson
Well, I agree you don't want to go stand on your desk and preach a sermon at the workplace, but you do take your passions with you to work and the things that you care about. The NCAA tournament is going on right now and I bet there's a lot of water cooler conversations around your about brackets and your team or your sport and how you're doing with that. And we all understand that's appropriate or in the corporate structure, they can make you, if someone changes their pronouns, they make you respect that. So it's unthinkable to me that we can't go with our God stories and our enthusiasm for our faith We've been told it has to stay inside the church building. That sounds more like Iran than America. And I don't think we should accept that kind of authoritarian attitude towards our faith. We don't have to preach at people, but we can share our enthusiasm about our faith wherever we go.
Dr. Gina
And maybe just also, I think one important part of the whole witness process is just always setting example. As you said, leading with faith, but, you know, really leading with it. I don't mean leading like from a leadership perspective. I mean, like, that's where you start, is just with that love of Jesus that should feel hopefully, hopefully almost contagious in the workplace, right?
Pastor Alan Jackson
Absolutely. I'm not suggesting that you be the dominant influence in the workplace. I'm suggesting that the primary identifier of our person is our faith. Before I identify as a Tennessean or a pastor, you know, I'm a person with a living and vital and vibrant faith. And I want people that know me to know that. And if I hide my faith, I'm not just being quiet, I'm being deceptive. Because the most important part of my life is not on the table. You know, I'm married, and when I leave the house in the morning, if I had the imagination, well, I'm not really married once I leave the house. That's only a commitment I have when I'm at home. Everybody would understand it was an illegitimate marriage. Well, I think if our faith is only a part of what we identify with when we sit in a church building, then it's an illegitimate faith. So we've got to figure out a way to let our God story be a part of who we are everywhere.
Dr. Gina
You know, I never thought of it like that. I think that's an amazing way to think of it. It's almost. I mean, I don't know for sure because I'm not a biblical scholar in any way, but I'm a biblical student, to be sure. It's almost that. It almost makes me wonder if it invokes that one scripture that says, you know, never deny God.
Pastor Alan Jackson
Yeah, no, none of us are scholars. We're all learners. So I'll join you in that. Jesus said if we deny him before men, he'll deny us before the Father. But even more than that, he said, we're salt and light, and light always behaves in the same way. Doesn't have multiple expressions. Light dispels darkness. And so I think we've been given this false notion that we can segment our lives and still flourish. And I don't think that's helpful. You know, if you go to the gym to work out, but the rest of your day you make unhealthy decisions. The gym isn't going to help you be healthy. You've got to incorporate across the breadth of your life those decisions towards a healthier lifestyle. It's the same issue with our faith. You can sit in church, but now we have to figure out how to take those practices and ideas and let them define the breadth of our lives. And I think people will be happier about it. Been told it's inappropriate. I don't believe that's an appropriate message.
Dr. Gina
No. I loved your point about if someone can force me to use certain pronouns, then surely I can tell people the reason for my joy. It's scriptural and it's really it's foundational to who we are as Christians. But I do believe it's spreading. Don't you, Pastor?
Pastor Alan Jackson
I think there is a momentum gaining around I think we realize we believed a lie when they told us that our biblical worldview wasn't welcome in the public square or the corporate boardroom and we withdrew. But then we realized there was very much a worldview at place there that we were being forced to kneel before and it wasn't a godly one. So now we've got to have the courage to come back and say no, my belief systems have a right in the public square. We don't have to be angry. We don't have to be belligerent. We certainly don't have to be violent. But we do have to be determined and we have to persevere. It will make our workplaces better. It's made our country better. And we've got to walk back towards that.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Well, Pastor Alan Jackson, appreciate the book, except thank you so much for being with us.
Pastor Alan Jackson
Thank you. It's my privilege.
Dr. Gina
All right. We'll be back with the second hour of American Sunrise in two minutes. Don't go away.
David Brody
But peace don't come from being weak. I'll lend a hand. I'll say a prayer.
Dr. Gina
All right. Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, the Department of War asking Congress for an additional $200 billion to continue funding ongoing combat operations in Iran. Will lawmakers approve it? We'll get a lawmaker's perspective just ahead. Also ahead, former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent, reportedly under investigation now by the FBI. We're going to talk about when the investigation began as Kent continues to talk about the administration's war efforts. Also Later, Vice President J.D. vance wraps up a visit to the battleground state of Michigan. As midterm elections heat up in the state, we're going to examine how the administration's message is moving the needle in the purple state. Those stories so much more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G and Emily Finn, both in West Palm. Good morning, ladies. This is the favorite. Now, I don't know how to say this because this is not going to sound great, but it's my favorite hour of the entire week because it's the last hour on a Friday. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the show. I love the show, but I want the weekend. I love the weekend. Dr. G, do you not love the weekend?
Dr. Gina
I do love the weekend. And I don't mean to sound ominous or gloomy, but I just want to send prayers out to the family that their son was over, the family from Alabama. You know, I have a soft place in my heart for Alabama to begin with, but, you know, he was over in Spain and they did find his body this morning. And I just wanted to ask our audience if they would join me in praying with them over the weekend for that family. That's all. I'm sorry. And I know you were, like having a fun time and I just brought. But it just feels important. I felt like I needed to say that, so I'm glad you did. Emily, cheer us back up, please.
Emily Finn
Amen to that, though, Gina. I think that definitely remembering that family and your prayers throughout the weekend is great. And David, I'm looking at the clock. We got 57 minutes till the weekend. The countdown is on.
David Brody
I'm loving that. And I'll be looking at the clock this whole hour. Hey, so, ladies, let's talk about this for a second. Was it funny or was it cringe? That's the question. President Trump hosted the Japanese prime minister at the White House yesterday. He took questions from reporters. Well, just take a look at this.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Why didn't you tell US Allies in
David Brody
Europe and Asia, like Japan, about the war before attacking Us. So we are very confused about we Japanese.
Donald Trump
Well, one thing, you don't want to signal too much, you know, when we go in, we went in very hard, and we didn't tell anybody about it because we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? Okay.
David Brody
Ah, Gina, would you care to opine?
Dr. Gina
I'm not sure my opinion matters that much, but here's what I will say. This morning, when we were on our production call before work, and everybody was kind of saying whether they thought it was funny or whether they thought it was cringe, some people honestly thought it was hilarious and like, classic vintage Trump. And some people thought it was so completely cringe. But the number, Emily, was divided right about down the middle between those that thought it was funny and those who thought it was crazy. So, Emily, you could be the tiebreaker.
Emily Finn
I'm the tiebreaker on this. It was hilarious. This is classic vintage Trump. I mean, look, was it maybe a little bit offensive? Sure. We're talking about Pearl harbor, for God's sake. But come on, the comedic timing of President Trump, you can't take that away from him. And dividing people down the middle, hey, that's classic vintage Trump as well.
David Brody
I stand with Emily on this. I thought it was hilarious. I really did. I thought it was. I mean, it's typical Trump. I get it. But then again, doesn't most. Gina, wouldn't you agree that most of Trump's funny moments are also a little bit cringe?
Dr. Gina
It's kind of like both fair. That is fair, I guess, for me. And here I go, getting all glum again. But I guess I think about those families, and I've been there to Pearl harbor, and it's really. It's a sacred place, and I think about the people who died there and whatever, and it's just hard for me to laugh even this much later. So that's maybe more why I thought it was.
David Brody
That's fair.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Just a little bit sad. Maybe cringe isn't the right word, but,
Emily Finn
yeah, that is super fair. Gene. I've been to Pearl harbor as well, and it's a very moving experience. It's just the timing of Trump. I mean, it's just Trump thinks to say something like that in that moment. I mean, only Trump would do something like that.
David Brody
And how about the Japanese prime minister with the deer in the headlights look
Emily Finn
like what just happened? Yeah.
David Brody
Hashtag too soon anyhow. Okay. All right, well, what do we.
Emily Finn
Yeah, that moment was certainly a little heated in the Oval office. And we do want to check the forecast throughout the rest of the country. It is time now for the weather. And here with our hometown forecast is Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. Tracy, who gets today's forecasts?
Tracy Anthony
Hey, we're heading out to Tallahassee, Florida. So we've got some nice hometown forecasts up to bat. But this is from Katie on Guetter, 77 degrees. Today we're going to continue that warming trend and we're going to be in the 80s. So anyone going to spring break down to the Florida panhandle, it's going to be relatively nice. Now this is a new one. We did have somebody come in from Instagram, so checking out that feed, I'll have to jump on there here in the next couple of days. But Naples, 81 degrees. We're going to have a nice forecast as well. Florida, you can't beat it. Right now the rest of the country is scorching with record heat and we're just kind of calm and comfortable. So it's relatively nice. But one thing I forgot to mention last hour is today is the official start of astronomical spring. So spring begins at 10:46am Eastern Time in the Northern Hemisphere. So basically what that means is over the next couple of days, or, excuse me, over the next month, we are going to start having longer days. So if you're down south, you get about an hour of more daylight each day. And if you're up north, 100 minutes of daylight for the month of March. So that's some good news. And today is actually the equal time with nighttime hours and daytime hours. I didn't really say that correctly, Emily, but it's Friday. You know, you guys have already been talking about the weekend.
Emily Finn
Yes, yes. Well, Tracy, let me check again for the countdown. We've got the countdown going to the weekend, but it sounds like we got some daylight, some sunshine, some heat. We're going in the right direction. I can feel summer already. Tracy, Anthony, thank you. Thank you so much. Appreciate you this morning. Let's get you back over to David Brody. David?
David Brody
Okay, Emily, thank you. Yeah, it's gonna be 80 in D.C. this weekend. Yeah. The Pentagon now asking the White House to approve more than $200 billion in additional funding, but it's already facing resistance on Capitol Hill. Democrats expected to push back hard. Republicans support it, but still haven't laid out a clear path to get it through the Senate. Join us now with reaction is Florida Congressman Jimmy Petronas. Congressman, good morning to you. I'm wondering about what chance you think this request has to pass the House and get over to the Senate and all of that. I know we're getting ahead of ourselves, but what's the scuttlebutt? I just love that word. What's the scuttlebutt on Capitol Hill?
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
Sure. Good morning, David. I feel that we'll still be able to put the votes together if that's going to be the case. In order to get the $200 billion to the Pentagon to continue this effort, the war is needed. We cannot still. We cannot allow Iran to have a nuclear. And as they're disarmed, whether it be their Navy, whether it be their Air Force, whether their missile launchers, this region is going to be stabilized because weaponized Iran is no longer welcome in the world.
Emily Finn
Congressman, I do want to shift gears here for a moment. As you know, senators are continuing to debate this Save America act, which the House has already passed. Now, Louisiana Senator John Kennedy is floating the idea of using reconciliation to get the bill through. What is your take on that?
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
Look, if that can be possible, let's do it right now. As I was, I was thinking this morning, the Save America act, if you think about the most important thing we have in our country for each individual citizens, is their right to vote. And that boat's got to have integrity. And all we're asking is having integrity in the voting system. As simple as that. What is wrong with forcing somebody to, let's clean up the voting rolls. And if you are a citizen and you show your id, then we continue moving forward. We're not creating conflict, we're not creating fights. All we're saying is just prove who you are when it comes time to casting your vote. As simple as that.
Dr. Gina
Congressman, the White House is making a concession to get funding passed for the Department of Homeland Security. In a letter to Senate Republicans, Trump administration officials detailed a plan to expand the use of body cameras for federal agents enforcing immigration policy. How is this. Is this the answer? I mean, I don't know why anybody has a problem with body cams. I have less a problem with that than I do with them removing masks, which seems to be almost a done deal.
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
So the body cams were really. They were really rolled back out back when Kristi Noem was still at Homeland Security. This is something that, that she embraced really, right after the incidents in Minneapolis took place. But the Democrats, again, this is something that they're raising money off of. They're sending emails to their donors saying that we're fighting against Trump. This is all about how much money can they harvest? As soon as they start seeing the money dry up, you'll see that they'll, they'll find the light and they'll decide to come to the table and be supportive of whatever the president puts before them as their, you know, we got our pound of flesh moment from the President, but mint's no words. You know, they, they posture. This is about, you know, wanting to change ice. This is about them lining their pockets in election year and this is their boogeyman. President Trump with ICE as the subject matter in the email.
David Brody
Congressman, let me go back to the Save America act for just a moment. Let me play devil's advocate. Some would say the devil potentially. But let me ask you this regarding the citizenship requirements. So let me understand this. You need to produce a birth certificate or a passport, right? Is that correct? I'm just double checking that because what the Democrats are saying is like, what if you don't have your birth certificate, then you got to go through hoops to go get it? And then a passport costs $165 and all of that type of. So, so what's the response to all of that? And does that mean, like people like you and me, we now would need to show our birth certificate as well?
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
Well, you've already gotten into a posture nationally with real id. So in the states, if you're getting a driver's license right now, it's going to have to be real ID compliant. In that real ID compliance, you already had to produce these documents. So we're already in a place right now nationally where we're not talking about, you know, trying to find out where my birth certificate in Memphis, Tennessee is. In the cases, if you're driving on a US Roadway right now, you're already, you're already real ID compliant.
David Brody
Okay? So if you have a real id, real id, then you're fine is what you're saying.
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
You've already presented those necessary documentations to show who you are. So in my opinion, that is enough to get started.
David Brody
Interesting. Okay, good. Just clear that up.
Donald Trump
All right.
David Brody
Congressman Jimmy Petrono, it's great to have you on a Friday, any day, really,
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
but an amazing weekend.
Dr. Gina
You do the same. You do the same, Congressman.
David Brody
I will. Don't you worry. We will have an amazing weekend. I don't know what that means. That sounds cryptic. Thank you. I appreciate it. I really have a very boring weekend ahead. By the way, let's talk Medicare. A lot of folks aren't getting the full story, so let's give it to you here. Most Medicare Agents push Medicare Advantage plans even when they're not right for you. So why is that? Well, because that's where the money is for them. But of course, seniors are paying the price, and that's what makes chapter different. We talk about chapter a lot. They're going to walk you through original Medicare Medigap, Medicare Advantage, Joe Biden, are you listening? And part D with the pros and the cons all laid out so you can make the right call for your health needs. And Jo, you've got a few health needs. Donna, by the way, said her chapter advisor walked her through every option and explained everything in a way she could actually understand. In other words, they're dumbing it down. And as you know, guys, I'm a big fan of dumbing it down. Plus, they saved her thousands of dollars. All right, if you're on Medicare or will be soon, I will call 843-MED-STEP to learn about enrollment options and find ways to save. It's free quick. They can review your options in under 20 minutes. I mean, it takes longer to order a pizza. Most people wish they had called sooner. All right, back in a moment with the rest of the show. We're counting down to the weekend. Stick around.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are fleshing out Joe Kent. Former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent is now reportedly under FBI investigation for allegedly leaking classified information, according to multiple sources. The administration sources go on to claim the investigation began before Kent resigned from his post, citing his opposition to the US War with Iran. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard was asked about this during a hearing with lawmakers yesterday. Here's what she had to say.
Do you agree or disagree with what
Dr. Gina
this letter was put out by former Director Kent.
David Brody
He said a lot of things in that letter.
Dr. Gina
Ultimately, we have provided the president with
David Brody
the intelligence assessments, and the president is
Emily Finn
elected by the American people and makes
David Brody
his own decisions based on the information that's available to him. But do you agree with does that
Dr. Gina
statement he made blaming Israel concern you?
Emily Finn
Yes. For discussion, let's bring in David Brody and Dr. Gina. David, want to go to you first on this one. Tulsi Gabbard really didn't have. She didn't throw her support behind Joe there. It was kind of interesting to see her deflect.
David Brody
Well, yeah, I mean, Tulsi's in a tough spot. And I like Tulsi Gabbard, actually. And so, you know, I kind of feel for her I mean, she's toeing the company line, if you will, in terms of what the administration is trying to do here. But, you know, personally, she doesn't believe in what's going on here in Iran. As for Joe Kent, we say we're flushing him out, and there's no doubt there's a lot of people that want to flush out Joe Kent. But Gina, I don't think everybody wants to flush out Joe Kent. I know there's a contingent out there that believe that, you know, he's got a lot of important things to say. I'm not one of them, by the way. I think I appreciate his service to the country. We always have to do that. Disclaimer. But yeah, I've got a lot of issues with Joe Kent, and quite frankly, the fact that I tried at 6pm Eastern last night to go watch the Joe Kent big interview with tucker carlson@tuckercarlson.com and they wanted me to pay six bucks for it. Yeah, not gonna happen. So I had a waste.
Dr. Gina
I watched it and I didn't have to pay anything.
David Brody
Well, because, well, you watched it because you watched it on X, right? I'm assuming.
Dr. Gina
No, I watched it on YouTube.
David Brody
Okay. Well, if you go to Tucker Carlson.com there was a paywall there, so that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And once again, the clips came up for free later on. But anyhow, go ahead, Gina, what do you got?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, you know, this is a man who served 11 tours of duty to our country battle. And this is the guy whose wife died serving Syria in a war that I still have no idea why we were ever in Syria. What did that accomplish? Even if he's completely wrong about Iran, one could understand why he'd be a little leery about going into war. I don't think that makes him a bad person. I don't understand why he's investigation. I don't under investigation. I don't know the details, but I certainly hope we're not getting into investigating people in our own, on our own side of the aisle who are patriots simply because they speak out against a war. David, I mostly am in support of this war. I'm still leery if it lingers, if it goes on. But at this point, I feel like most of what we've done, I understand, I think, but I am listening to both sides and I'm watching closely because certainly had I lost a loved one or a spouse in a war, I can imagine that I would want to make really sure that I thought the war was of the Purest motives and of the purest outcomes. It's understandable that he might be a little. A little bothered.
Emily Finn
Yeah, certainly. Yeah. He is standing by his values, that's for sure. All right. Coming up on American Sunrise, an independent journalist has found that welfare fraud in California may be even worse than it is in Minnesota. We'll have the facts after the break. Don't miss it.
David Brody
Think and pray to know the cause before they say I don't scare easy, I don't scare fast.
Congressman Jimmy Petronas
It's God gridden guns, no fear.
David Brody
If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on earth, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation. And we will kill you. Don't hate nobody. I just won't kneel I don't chase headlines I live what's real I race my kids to think and pray to know the cause before they say.
Emily Finn
Because of you.

David Brody
All right, welcome back, everybody, to the show. The bell of the New York Stock Exchange is going to ring in a few minutes. Let's a look, take, take a look at the future. I can see into the future and I see red. The Dow Jones down a little bit. The S and P down a little bit. And I have my glasses on, so who the heck knows? All I know is that there's a lot of red and very little green. There's my analysis of the stock market this morning. Thank you very much. All right, we're going to get back to the numbers here in a moment. A new investigation is raising serious questions about how taxpayer money is being spent in California. Wow. Taxpayer money being spent in California in terms of fraud. What a shock. Independent investigator Nick Shirley actually released a video alleging $170 million in fraud inside the state's daycare system, including so called ghost facilities registered to empty lots and unrelated businesses. Here's a preview of what he found. This is the sound of hospice money. Could you just answer the question? What's the need for a thousand percent increase in hospice care here in Sanibel? Do you have the Paperwork to enroll a little boy by the name of Joey.
Dr. Gina
You don't know what's going on.
David Brody
Well, it says there's 14 children enrolled here on the state of California. That there is $6,000 per beneficiary. Can you give us any explanation?
Donna Fiducia
Where can we open a hospice at?
David Brody
He's a Maybach, just like you. All right, joining us now with a reaction is the co host of Cowboy Logic, with emphasis on logic here on rad, that would be Donna Fiducia. Donna, good morning. All right, so Nick Shirley is saying this could be even worse than what we saw in Minnesota with that infamous learning center. What do you think? Good morning.
Donna Fiducia
Well, I've got my learning center shirt on right now, David. And what does Gavin Newsom say?
Dr. Gina
David?
Donna Fiducia
Together.
David Brody
It's racist.
Donna Fiducia
Yes, it's getting so predictable. $170 million. But Dr. Oz actually found 3.5 billion. So what Nick was doing is he's going around, he's knocking on these doors and he's saying, hey, can I enroll my son Joey in there? And this woman actually yelled at him in Somali. Can't make this stuff up. $32,000 per hospice beneficiary. 38 registered and none were found in this one parking lot area. Apparently the parking lot, as you saw, was loaded with luxury cars. Mercedes Benzes, BMWs, Teslas. 206,000, apparently. Maybach car. I don't even know what that is. A Maybach car. Did I pronounce it right? $206,000 car. Anyhow, it's all over money. And you know what's amazing, David, is that everyone seems to live that signed up for hospice. None of them died. It sounds like the voter rolls if you ask me. So they are grouped together in this Van Nuys three story building, 89 licensed hospice companies, and there's like a handful of people there. But he found it to be $170 million in fraud. I really think what you said is California is a lot bigger than what happened in Minnesota. Medi Cal, which is California's Medicare doubled since 2022. The real big excuse was Covid. All this money seemed to come from COVID It went from 108 billion to 222 billion just this year. Hospice is 10% of all U.S. home health care. But you know, it seems like none of these people die when they go into hospice. It's unbelievable. They identified ghost centers, as you saw, empty lots, empty businesses, shopping centers. And Dr. Oz found it was actually more like 3.5 billion. But Nick Shirley found 170 million. Just in that little enclave that he went to in California. This is huge. This is going to make Minnesota look like small change. And I think it's everywhere. It's probably in every state. And I don't know what is taking so long for the DOJ to move on this, because it's so in your face now and they don't care and they get away with it.
David Brody
Yeah, we'll see if J.D. vance is the fraud czar, or whatever you wanna call him. We'll kind of get to the bottom of a lot of this. But. Yeah, this is Gavin Newsom, by the way. He wants to run for president. And this is on his LinkedIn profile, so to speak, along with the fact that they wanted to recall him and he barely survived that. Hey, Donna, we got about 30 seconds or so. What do you got on Cowboy Logic this weekend?
Donna Fiducia
Well, we have something that I would like Mark Wayne Mullen to watch. It's a documentary that we've played before. We're going to play it again. J6, a true timeline put out by StopHate.com's Dave Sumrall again. Maybe Mark Wayne Mullen will watch it and see what really happened on J6 because he thinks Michael Byrd, the guy that shot Ashley Babbitt, is a hero. I think not. Again, 6am and 9pm on Saturday and again at 4pm Sunday afternoon, all times Eastern. We will see you in the barn party. And make sure you bring your drums.
David Brody
Oh, you're bringing props. You brought the receipts on fraud and now you got props. You are, you know, props to you, Donna. All right, thanks. Thanks for being here. Great to see you. Have a great goodness. That's great. Imagine me in a cowboy hat. I couldn't pull it off. Donna, please. Every single day. All right, time for the opening bell. I'm back. Look at that. I tossed to myself. All right, the opening bell. They're clapping. That means something. Shall we listen? Let's listen. Oh, eventually the ding, ding, ding's coming. I just know. I just know it. I've been here before. Let's listen. No, we're not gonna do it. Are they?
Trenda7
Come on.
David Brody
Anyhow, maybe it already happened. I don't know. Thank you very much. I'm glad they're listening to me this morning. All right, we're open at the New York Stock Exchange. I Say we like. I don't own any of the New York stock exchange specifically, even though I do own some stocks. Let's take a look at the now, not the future, but the present. The dow still down and oil down a little bit. So that's, I guess, good news down under $100 a barrel. We'll see as we move through the day. All right, so think about this, folks. In 26, 2006, excuse me, $20,000 equaled roughly 33 ounces of gold at spot price. At today's prices, those 33 ounces would be worth about $165,000. Smart Americans diversify a portion of their savings into precious metals. That's why you need to consider buying gold from our friends over at the birch gold group. For thousands of years, gold has been a store of wealth. Really it has been. And today it's a crucial part of any balanced strategy. Now, even better, birch gold can help you convert an existing IRA or a 401k into a tax sheltered retirement account in gold. So here's what you do. You text America to the number 989-898 to receive your free info kit on gold. No obligation, by the way, just some useful information. They've got an a plus rating with the better business bureau. Tens of thousands of happy customers, not hundreds, tens of thousands. Let birch gold help you diversify with gold that is called peace of mind. Once again, text America to 989-898. Once again for Joe biden. We'll say it again. Text America to the number 989-898. I'm going slow, Joe. And do the that today. All right. Still to come on american sunrise, Vice President J.D. vance in Michigan. This week as the midterm election season picking up steam, we're going to talk about how the administration's message is resonating in the battleground state of Michigan. Straight ahead. Let's go. All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop on in our conversation on YouTube. Getter and Rumble. It is time now to take the political pulse of America. Here's the beat today. Vice President J.D. vance recently wrapped a high profile trip to the battleground state of Michigan. Vance met with workers, local leaders, business owners focusing on manufacturing, job creation and the economy, all key issues as the White House looks to build momentum heading into the midterms. The trip also comes as Michigan shapes up to be a pretty major political flashpoint with a crucial Senate race and both parties fighting hard for working class voters. Here was the vice president earlier, the
David Brody
Democrats threatened to take us straight back to where we were just a few short years ago. And we all know the economic statistics. We all know the fact that we felt it in our pockets that everything from groceries to our home electricity bill was going up at a level that it hadn't gone up in 40 years under Joe Biden. But it's not just that, because the American dream, my friends, as you all know, it's not just about going out and be able to buy something, as important as that is. It's not just about the economics, the dollars and cents, though, of course, we demand that our citizens become more, more prosperous. It's also about peace and security. It's about being safe in your own home.
Congressman Mark Alford
All right.
Dr. Gina
Joining us now with reaction, Michigan gubernatorial candidate and business executive Perry Johnson. Perry, good morning.
Perry Johnson
Well, good morning. And how are you this morning?
Dr. Gina
Doing? Well, Perry, thank you for being here. How do you think the administration's message is resonating with Michigan voters?
Perry Johnson
Well, very, very well, because we have to understand that in Michigan here we're particularly concerned because people are hurting and affordability is a huge issue right here. That's why in my particular case, I have been running on that very issue that we have to eliminate the income tax, we have to reform the property tax. And the way to do that is to pay attention to what we're spending over here in Michigan. I've spent my entire life bringing quality and efficiency to companies. That's effectively what I Do. I'm considered the quality and efficiency guru, literally, of the world. And I've done this in 67 countries. And right now, I want to give that skill set to Michigan so that we can have a much better life for our people. You talk about spending. I don't know that there's a single state in the union that spends money more ridiculously than our state. When she took office, our budget was $49 billion. Now her current proposal is 88.1 billion. If it had gone up at the rate of inflation, we'd now be spending 59 billion. But she needs almost $30 billion more. And I want to eliminate this state income tax. And I think that's something that can easily be done if we audit what's going on, if we pay attention to not throwing the money away in ridiculous ways. In one year alone, we overpaid unemployment and Medicaid by $11 billion. In that particular year, we only collected $11.3 billion in income taxes. We spent almost a billion dollars trying to improve the quality of education for the kids, fourth grade and under. And at the time that she started this program, we were, I think, 26th in the country. Now we are 44th in the country. We got worse. We spent almost a billion dollars trying to improve the speed of the Amtrak train by 10 miles an hour. And we didn't succeed. We then have money that we spend these daycare centers. We noticed that there were 77 of these daycare centers in Dearborn. We looked like, okay, maybe these are illegal. So we went to check into them. The very next day. When we asked about them, they were suddenly removed from the website. All we wanted to do was to check and see what was going on. We have a situation in Michigan where we spend money in some of the nuttiest ways. We spent millions of dollars on a study to measure the effectiveness of studies. So right now, I say we give the money back to the people. And we are in a situation right now where we can do that. And that is what my message has been. In fact, I even wrote a song that is going to be aired on the radio now that talks about my entire theme. And my theme is very simple. The average person will get. That is, the average family will get back $4,747 every year if we just eliminate the income tax. If we do that, it will ignite Michigan. Every single state in the union that has eliminated the income tax has done better. In fact, it ignited their state. Look at what happened with Tennessee. Like Michigan, they were losing population year after year, like Michigan, they had people moving out. And like Michigan, they would have young people going to school there and they would move out and suddenly they eliminate the income tax and they're booming.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, there's no question that eliminating the income tax definitely does a lot for states. Perry Johnson, best of luck to you. Thank you so much for being with us.
Perry Johnson
Well, and thank you for having me. And I wish you the best. Enjoy life.
Dr. Gina
You as well. All right, let's get back over to David Brody.
David Brody
Enjoy life. That's just such a nice way of just ending that interview, Gina. Enjoy life. I'll see you next week. All right.
Martha Stewart
Sounds good.
David Brody
All right. The Stay Awake America tour is launching across the country. Built around faith, freedom and action, it's aimed at energizing everyday Americans through music, speakers and community events. The tour builds on the momentum of the Reawaken America events. Of course, those were led by Clay Clark, Michael Flynn and Eric Trump. But organizers say this next phase is really about taking things local and turning energy into action. So joining us now to tell us more about all of this is the host for the Case for America here on rather it would be trenda7. Trent, good morning to you. Tell us more about this and I hope you're enjoying life, by the way,
Trenda7
David, you know, good morning to you and that was beautiful. I am enjoying life. So, you know, particularly this weekend, I think a lot of great people are going to be able to come together and enjoy life. Like minded individuals that are interested in saving the country, protecting people from a wayward government. These are the things that are happening and the topics going on at the Stay Awake America tour in Port St. Lucie, Florida. They're doing such a fantastic job putting these events together. Beautiful venues, very safe, held at churches, et cetera. But David, it's really a place where patriotism, the truth and faith combine and it enables people to be aware and take these actions local to help correct this wayward path that we've been on.
David Brody
Yeah. And you know, you mentioned local. We've talked about local. To me, it reminds me of a pastor that I'm close friends with who I'll never forget what he said. He said, you know what, just take care of your own bean patch right there in your front yard. And it's really a good point because I think a lot of people get frustrated and maybe overwhelmed looking at everything that's going on nationally and looking at what the liberals are doing here and liberals are doing there. But it all starts at the local level. So if you can get involved and just kind of like get here a little bit more tunnel focused on what's happening in your own backyard and your own bean patch. I think that's really the key here. What say you?
Trenda7
You know, David, I'm in 100% agreement with the theory. I think General Flynn says it best. I like the pastor's bean patch scenario, but local action creates national impact. And, you know, many of us look at this and go, gosh, what do we do about Washington? What do we do about this? And the issues really may be just kind of out of reach for most of us, but if we control it locally, we control who's on the library and the school board and any of these other things, we can protect our children. We can protect future generations from the insanity that's the left. You know, you guys so well cover here on your show.
David Brody
So tell us a little bit about what's happening on Case for America this week. I've decided that if you were a liberal, it would be called Mental Case for America, but you're not. So tell us about the Case for America.
Trenda7
Okay, buddy, you got me.
David Brody
You got me there.
Pastor Alan Jackson
David.
Trenda7
Listen, that on the Case for America, you know, this week you're about to see some stuff upcoming. We have some of the Trump attorneys. We have Peter Tickton, of course, we have features on Tina Peters that we represent her case, et cetera. But we have Tim Schindler. It's very interesting. People are understanding and becoming aware of what's happening. How the inspectors general operated really is an apparatchik and control what's happening in the country. Awareness is key.
Tommy Habib
Right.
Trenda7
We're talking about the filibuster next week. There's so many things here that we really break down in the lawfare going on in America on the Case for America. So we get to see that at a. You know, we really break it down and educate people because we hear these things, we see them on social media, we see the quick hit on shows, but we really break it down and get into and let people see what's happened for themselves.
David Brody
Yeah. By the way, we have less than a minute left, about 30 seconds. But you mentioned Tina Peters. Any update there? I mean, we've heard Jared Polis is thinking about maybe doing something to. To alleviate that sentence or do some clemency or something along those lines. You heard anything? The latest?
Trenda7
Yeah. So, yeah, let me give you this. So we broke the story on our show last two weeks ago that she was found not guilty on the assault matter that was going on there. Which was good because we feared that that could have an impact on the clemency decision of Jared Paulus, President Trump. Obviously. You know, I wrote a strategy plan in 24 and that strategy plan is what you're seeing play out the pardon, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Now here we are. Now I Jared Polis has spoken about pardoning her. He had said that she needs to be remorseful, etc. Etc. But I didn't see a remorseful statement from that state senator that we just saw convicted on the same charges. They got probation, literally probation and some community service when Tina Peters was sentenced to nine years for free speech. We're going to be there, though. We're going to see this thing through.
David Brody
Trying to 7 it's great to have you always. Thanks for everything you're doing. All right.
Trenda7
Thanks, David. Good to see you.

So regular tea that you buy in the grocery store, this will be the Liptons, the Yogi teas, and that sort of thing are the lowest grade of tea that you can possibly get. It's called tea dust or tea fennels. And so when they produce whole leaf tea, like the kind we use, the stuff that literally falls through the cracks is what they kind of like sweep up and throw into these tea bags and mass produce it. That way it's going to be have less flavor, less nutritional profile. It's going to be way more bitter than tea is supposed to be. And the difference with ours is that we use the whole leaf tea. That's the highest possible grade of tea that you can get. And so you're going to have the better flavor, better nutritional profile too. And the other thing is that the tea bags we use are different. So when they sweep up this tea dust and put it in these tea bags, those tea bags are made of bleach paper and plastic and harsh chemicals and glue to hold them together. And that all ends up steeping into your cup. One study found that there's up to 11 billion nanoparticles of plastic that end up in a single cup of tea with those tea bags. And so we don't do that. We use something made out of co cornstarch. It's called polylactic acid teabags. It's a naturally occurring substance and so you don't get any of those nasty chemicals in your drink.
David Brody
My goodness, that many plastic particles in my tea. Listen, I gotta tell you, not a big fan of Lipton. Love your tea. Drink it often. And it seems like, Mike, that the tea aligns with the make America healthy again mantra. So kind of take us through. You mentioned the cornstarch. Take us through that a little bit.
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Yeah, definitely. Just in general with the Maha movement, I think we're getting sick of all these, like, harsh chemicals and synthetic processed foods that were being given. And tea, I don't think is any exception to that rule. And so this cornstarch is just an example of something that we use to try to reverse that trend. And Also, I know RFK Jr. His mantra is to. To summarize, the new food pyramid, it's eat real food. And so that's why we don't do the tea dust either, because it's not real food, it's not real tea. And so we do the whole leaves. That's the actual real tea.
David Brody
Love that. Hey, by the way, we got about a minute, a little less than a minute. What's the best way for customers to get the best deals? Lay it out for everybody here.
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Yeah, definitely. The Patriots brew Club. We just launched that a couple months ago. And that'll be where the most savings are at. You can get discounts up to 20%. The only way you can get free shipping on every order. If you're not in the brew club, you can get free shipping on orders over $59. With the Brew Club, that threshold is zero. And we're running a couple of sales right now. Also, we only have a handful, maybe a few dozen units left of our loose leaf tea. We have some Gadsden green left for that. We're going to do a little clearance sale here and give 40% off of the remaining loose leaf products until those are gone. And we weren't going to announce this sale either until next week, but we have a pumpkin payload blend that's very popular in the fall season. We still have it going on right now, but we're going to shut that off at the end of this month. But before we do, we, we're gonna offer one last discount, one last sale on that. You can use the code. Last call. No spaces. Just L, A, S T, C a L, L for 20 off any of our pumpkin payload products as well. And again, those will be shut off at the end of this month.
David Brody
Very nice. Mike Britton. By the way, you're not from Britain, are you're a patriot. Just confirm.
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Yeah, I mean, personally, no, but my family, yeah, we are from England. You know, we came over in the 1600s, so it goes all the way back. Yeah.
David Brody
Mike Britton, originally the family from England and of course, a patriot. Sorry, Brits. We're patriots. We won the war. Thanks for being here, Mike. Appreciate it.
Dr. Zudi Jasser
Thank you. Thank you, sir.
David Brody
All right, coming up, our last segment, and we saved the best for last. It's Puppy Friday. Our own Dr. G standing by with Tommy Habib with the adoption of the week. What you need to know about head insurance.
Donna Fiducia
Ooh.
David Brody
Stick around.
Dr. Gina
All right, got A view of the Washington Monument there. All restored and crime free. Thank you, Donald Trump. Back to American Sunrise. It is Friday, and you know what that means? That means, Kobe, you have to wake up. He's absolutely sound asleep. Look at him. He's like, oh, this dog is only three years old, you guys. I know he acts like he's 2011, but he's actually only three years old. All right, we are putting the spotlight today on some real heroes. This is the team from to the Rescue who work every day to help little monkeys like you find their forever homes. Joining us now is our friend Tommy Habib. He is the host of to the Rescue. Tommy, we just love what you're doing. Tell us about your incredible adoption effort and how the rescue is changing lives one wagging tail at a time.
Tommy Habib
Happy puppy Friday.
Dr. Gina
Happy puppy Friday.
Tommy Habib
Oh, my gosh. And sweet Kobe, don't wake the sweet puppy up. Actually, wake him up. You gotta enjoy the day, like, with all of us. There are millions of people watching you, Kobe.
Dr. Gina
He's exhausted from being adored, just like everyone else's pets out there. I'm sure that's right.
Tommy Habib
Hey, listen, you know what? Easter is coming, whether we like it or not. Spring is here. Actually, we love spring. And we have to be careful, you know, of our pups and our cats, because, you know, you don't think about it. But those Easter baskets can be dangerous, you know, for dogs. If they get into those plastic eggs, those can heal. They'll fragment. And if they swallow them, you know, as they're chewing them up, because they're trying to get to that chocolate inside. And chocolate is very toxic for puppy dogs. So make sure you guys keep those baskets up high, away from your dogs. But for cats, too, because they love that little green grass.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, no problem.
Tommy Habib
Yeah, it's a real problem. And if they eat it, we're talking about a surgery. We're talking about a $2,500, $3,000 surgery. And so that's one of the reasons we talk about pet insurance.
Dr. Gina
Yep. Gotta talk about it. Tommy, I don't wanna forget to ask you. Who is the rescue dog of the week?
Tommy Habib
Well, this is so exciting for us because sweet Harry, you know, here's the thing. Harry's a senior dog and just wants to be with a family that wants to love him. Doesn't. You know, he's not into, like, running and going crazy. He's a puppy dog that will just hang with.
Dr. Gina
Just wants his cuddles. That's right.
Tommy Habib
That's it.
Dr. Gina
Yeah.
Tommy Habib
And so, yes, we need to find, and it's hard for senior dogs.
Donna Fiducia
Yeah.
Tommy Habib
But I have to tell you, if you've never adopted before and you think you want a puppy, it's the best thing.
Dr. Gina
It's the best thing. Tommy, I'm so sorry. We're totally out of time. We love you. Get your pet insurance from Tommy. You got this. You got the QR code right there. War room is up next. And where's the guys? Girls? Guy and girl? We're not going to them.
Natasha Owens
Okay.
Dr. Gina
Well, I just have to tell you goodbye all on my own. You guys have a wonderful weekend. War room, up next. Go boldly now. Say goodbye. Colby, wake up. Say goodbye. Happy Puppy Friday. Happy Freedom Friday. We'll see you Monday.
