All right, David. And Dr. Gina, I'd like to get your perspective. David, I'm going to start with you since you sent us this video.
David Brody
Well, the question in my mind this morning is, was Lindsey Graham in an edit bay putting that together? I mean, I think that's the first question. I mean, look, look. I mean, can I just say,
Robert Charles
let
David Brody
Me, Let me go on the record. As you probably all know by now, I am totally for what we're doing in Iran. Let me be crystal clear. Having said that, that's a little bit too much testosterone right now in the process that we're in. This thing could go sideways. The folks that are inside MAGA that are concerned about forever wars, endless wars, they have a point. And I think this is possibly getting ahead of the game here. I think we need to be very careful. This feels a little bit like George W. Bush back in the day when he put the Mission Accomplished banner there on the ship and said, okay, we're done. Let's slow our roll. Dr. G. Even though I must say it's extremely creative.
Dr. Gina
Well, I'm just gonna give a little peek back behind the curtain. So we have a chat, you know, a thread in our phones, in our, you know, that we text, you know, and we send ideas for stories and everything like that. So this morning there's. This comes across and all the guys are going bonkers in the chat for planning the show. And I'm watching, I watch it again, I watch it again. I'm like, is there a new movie out? But this looks like a bunch of movies I've already seen. I'm trying to figure out what the heck all the excitement is about. That is so funny, because I completely do not get it. I guess being a chick, you know, I recognize great movie scenes. I didn't understand what that has to do with politics or this show today at all. And they were like, let's put it at the top of the show. I'm like, the top of the show?
Donna Fiducia
Yes.
Dr. Gina
What is it? So anyway, that might tell you the disconnect between genders. Just saying.
Terrence Bates
I mean, it's Gizmo at its highest.
David Brody
Yes, exactly.
Dr. Gina
And our control room is still back there going through all of the things they just saw in whatever this is. Yeah, they're still back there yelling lines from it. So, yeah, it's a. It definitely feels like a Friday around here. Should we get to the Bible verse, please?
David Brody
Sure, why not?
Dr. Gina
Let's have a Friday style Bible verse. This 1's from Psalm 37, verses 3 and 4. Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on his faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart. I love the concept of feeding on faithfulness because I always tell people, people say, did you have a big conversion moment? I'm like, no, I have no choice but to be a Christian. Because God has shown me too many times in my life who he is. I have no choice. Feeding on faithfulness, President Trump is replacing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem with Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullen. Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, saying Mullen will take over at DHS on March 31. Noem will move into a new role, as is a created role as special envoy for the Shield of the Americas. This is part of the regional security Initiative expected to be announced this weekend. Coming up in Florida. Now let's bring in former Assistant Deputy Secretary of State and Maine gooby candidate. Hearing good things about you out there, Robert Charles, but every time you're on, I just want a lobster roll. What are your thoughts on Kristi Noem?
Terrence Bates
I just want a lobster roll.
David Brody
That's quite a load there.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah.
Robert Charles
Look, let's start with Noemi. I think the president needs absolute faith and confidence in the people that serve him in the cabinet in particular, when they have that responsibility. And that was her responsibility. Senator John Kennedy and I watched it, did a really extraordinary job of pointing out that whether it was a lapse in judgment or something else, there was major contracting done and a representation about that contracting that obviously did not sit well with the President. And so a president has the prerogative, as a governor does, to remove people, and he removed her.
David Brody
Yeah. Bobby, let me move to Iran for a moment. You're a former Assistant Secretary of State. Give me your overall views on what we're seeing in Iran. We haven't talked to you since it all went down and specifically the concerns about this going sideways. So far it's going well, but the old what's next is where it always kind of gets bogged down and the word quagmire comes into play.
Robert Charles
Yeah, I mean, I guess if history teaches us anything, it's that we, we would like to have short wars and they don't end up being short. So at this moment, I think. Let me, let me, as you did at the top of the hour, David, say this was a decisive blow to a country that is essentially a radical religious tyranny that had two things going that we needed to stop. One was a nuclear program and the other was long range ballistic and hypersonic missiles. They had just tested a hypersonic missile, a cruise missile perhaps at the ground level going incredibly fast, and a ballistic missile into space and back down. We could not allow that country to get to that point. Given that they are the state sponsor, the leading state sponsor of terror and that they have horrible, they had horrible aspirations for Europe and for the rest of the Middle east and for Israel and for us. So what the president did was necessary. The problem is, whenever you take down an organization like that, and the country has done that before, it has ripple effects, it has cascade effects. Many of those are not predictable. We know right now, for example, that we did not expect Iran to hit Jordan with missiles and UAE and Saudi Arabia and some of our friends in the region. That was not something that was predicted that they'd launch out at a lot of Arab countries. But it's happened, and that has left a lot of Americans right now trying to figure out how to get home. And the bottom line is the minute wars begin, the plan is thrown out the window, and you're going to have to work and react and be nimble and respond to the efforts on the ground. What we would love to see is the Iranian people who had poured out by the millions and were killed by the tens of thousands, finally take control of their own destiny. There were. There were protests all over the world in favor of that. President Trump both, I think, helped cede them and then reacted properly to them.
David Brody
But at the end of the day,
Robert Charles
the hard work is left ahead of us.
Terrence Bates
All right, Bobby, want to continue to tap into your State Department experience. To quote you, we want to see the Iranian people take control of their own destiny. That statement coming is President Trump saying that he wants to be involved in selecting the next leader of Iran. Can we leave it up to Iran to choose its next, its own destiny? Or should the United States be involved so that we're not back here 5, 10, 15 years down the road?
Robert Charles
Well, in the normal course of business, as any historian knows, even after World War II, whether we were talking about the Philippines and MacArthur or we were talking about Germany, there's a provisional or interim period when a country that was at war with us or is decimated in the process of having tried to go to war with us and ultimately been silenced or forced to change their leadership. At the end of the day, there is an interim period that's very difficult. I mean, pick any country where the United States has historically, or the Allies in World War I, World War II, have had to make a transition to a peaceful government in a place that was at war with us. It will take time. Having said that, the ultimate sovereignty belongs to the Iranian people. So I think President Trump is exactly right. We will need to help stabilize, make an evolution. Same thing that's happening in Venezuela, same thing that happened under MacArthur in the Philippines. You have to have a period of time when you actually organize a vote and get people back to the idea that they're not going to be killed to go out on the streets in Iraq, you remember in Afghanistan, the purple thumbs people have to have some trust that there really is a new future, a new government, and that they won't continue to be killed on the streets. But once that's established, and that should be a relatively short period of time. Unfortunately, it's not always a short period of time. At that point, the people become in charge of their own destiny. And that's what you want. You want the Iranian people. Just like after the Soviet Union fell, you wanted the Russian people to step up and take control of their own destiny. It does not always work out as quickly or as smoothly as we anticipate, but we just have to keep fighting the good fight and then ultimately let them take control of the country.
Dr. Gina
Real quick, Robert, tell people where they can find out about your amazing campaign, which, by the way, you are up in the polls by a landmark lead, actually. So now it's yours for them to steal from you. And so that's what you have to do is prevent it, because that's what our country has become, sadly. But you will win this if everything is fair and square.
Robert Charles
You're absolutely right. We have four polls that have been done in the last six months. Every one of them has us up by double digits between 14 points and 24 points. The main people are speaking out. They are sick and tired of what the Democrats have delivered. And so they're. They're basically saying, this is the moment of change. This is an inflection point. The first time in decades we could actually get a House, a Senate, a Republican governor by a majority and then switch out the Supreme Court in Maine and have constitutional officers, the whole nine yards. What do you do? You go to bobby4maine.com if you want to see a conservative get into office. And I am kind of the Jimmy Stewart guy in this mix. No, no big money behind me. Basically just three or four thousand Mainers who poured out already to put their life savings on the line and to get our state back. And to your point about elections, we will have to obviously have secure elections because this is a state in which one of the Democrat candidates, the current Secretary of State, has said we do have illegal aliens on our rolls and she's not even willing to give those rolls up to the Department of Justice. So we're up against it here. We're truly up against it.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Yeah. Well, best of luck. We'll be praying for rightful results and we appreciate you being on this morning. Robert Charles, thank you.
Terrence Bates
Thanks, Bobby.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Thank you both, all three.
Dr. Gina
All right. Coming up, I'm still craving lobster rolls and Bobby's doing nothing about that. I think he should send us all lobster rolls after he wins his big victory. We're going to check out the hottest headlines from the RAV newsroom with Terrance Bates. Also later, potential concern concerns. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly worried the US could be communicating with Iran about a possible ceasefire. What could this mean for the war? We have expert analysis ahead on American Sunrise.

The shakeup in the president's cabinet still has the nation's Capitol buzzing this morning. Now, former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is off the job after being fired. And Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Wallen appears to be President Trump's pick to replace her. The move to pink slip Noem comes after she faced two days of intense grilling before House and Senate Judiciary committees. It's not all bad news for the former North Dakota Dakota governor, though. AS47 has tapped her to be a special envoy for the Shield of the Americas. It's a new security initiative that's focused on the Western Hemisphere. On her way out the door, Noem touted what she described as historic accomplishments at the Department of Homeland Security in order to make America safe again. In the meantime, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt says the administration will work to get Senator Mullen confirmed. She describes him as, quote, extraordinarily qualified. The U.S. house joined the Senate in rejecting a war powers resolution that would have stopped President Trump's authority to continue attacks on Iran. The measure failed by a close 212 to 219 margin. In the meantime, the US embassy in Kuwait is now the second American diplomatic mission in the Middle east to shut down over Iranian attacks. Iranian attacks on the country have already claimed the lives of six, six American soldiers. Their bodies are scheduled to be returned to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware tomorrow. President Trump is expected to attend the Dignified Transfer Service along with their families. And speaking of the president, he's on record this morning saying he wants to be involved in picking Iran's next leader, 47 told Axios that the son of the late Ayatollah Motaba Khamenei, who at the moment is being considered as a successor to his former supreme leader, is, quote, unacceptable and a lightweight. A federal judge in New York says that companies that paid tariffs that were ultimately struck down by the Supreme Court last month are due refunds. In his ruling, the judge writes that all importers of record are entitled to benefit from the high court's ruling because the justices rule that the tariffs are unconstitutional constitutional. The federal government reportedly collected more than $130 billion in tariffs through mid December. By the time the Supreme Court ruled on the taxes, that number is believed to have ballooned to about 175 billion, which is the amount that some analysts believe the federal government may ultimately have to pay. It appears that U.S. customs and Border Protection will process any refunds that are in fact due. However, the Horizon Agency has a quite has quite a task in front of it as its system isn't designed for a mass refund. The administrative process and likelihood of continued legal challenges from the feds is expected to prolong the process. That's a quick check of your headlines. I'll have more headlines coming your way in just a little bit. But now let's get a quick check of your forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. By the way, just want to remind you to go to our various social media pages, platforms, be it getter, rumble, YouTube, let us know where you're hanging out. And Tracy might hook you up with the hometown forecast in our next hour. But right now we are talking severe weather over the next several days. Is that right, Tracy?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, really into the start of the weekend too. So today, tomorrow, this is kind of the first multi day severe weather outbreak. Terrence want to show everyone this video. This is from major county, Oklahoma yesterday. You can see lots of lightning but look off on the horizon. As that lightning lights up up the sky, you can just make out this wedge tornado that impacted the town of Fairview. This is from Fairview Emergency Management, but just a very massive, massive tornado. And this scenes like this will be likely once again throughout the afternoon hours today. So this is where that severe weather threat is. It stretches from the Great Lakes all the way down through Central Texas and then into Saturday, the Great Lakes all the way down through to the Gulf Coast. So it's going to be a very active couple of days. And Terrence, strong tornadoes could be possible once again.
Terrence Bates
All right, good information once again, folks. Also a reminder to download our Weather Nation app. That way you can stay in touch with our folks over at Weather Nation and get the forecast for your community at your fingertips. Always good to see you, Tracey. We'll have you next hour for our hometown forecast.
Dr. Gina
See you then.
Terrence Bates
All right, see you then. Up next, Iran's next leader, President Trump says he wants to say he wants a say in the succession. What could that mean for the region though? We'll break it all down for you. First, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this day, 190 years ago in 1836, that the walls of a small San Antonio mission were stained with the blood of the heroes William B. Travis, Jim Bowie and the legendary David Crockett. Davy Crockett, excuse me, didn't just fight for a piece of land. They fought for the eternal principle of self governance. Against all odds and a tyrannical dictator, these brave volunteers chose victory or death. They lost the battle, but their sacrifice ignited a fire for freedom that could never be extinguished. Today we remember the Alamo. More American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes.

That's a live look at Tel Aviv, Israel right now. Missile Alert clearly it happens daily. Multiple times daily. Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. You know President Trump is urging Israeli President Isaac Herzog to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump says Netanyahu should focus on Iran and not be distracted by what's going on. From a legal perspective, Trump called Herzog a disgrace for not granting the pardon. Herzog has not issued a pardon, says any decision must follow Israeli law. Let's bring in Jerusalem Post writer, chairman of the Judaism 3.0 think tank, and our good friend Gal Kalev. Gal, you can feel free to address that issue, but clearly the more pressing issue is missiles going or potentially raining down there in Jerusalem and other places. Tell us about where, if not where you are specifically. If you don't feel security wise, you want to tell us, but at least tell us what's going on in the ground there. Good morning.
Gal Kalev
Good morning. Well, what's going on is that we're witnessing God's miracles. I mean, we a lot of time read the Bible and say, I wonder what it's like to be back then when those miracles happen. And we see all the time we have missiles coming in that can take out neighborhoods. And sadly they have, they hit a shelter and killed a family. But the vast majority of them, over 99%, are being intercepted midair. We're seeing a host of other miracles. And I think all Israelis on the left and on the right are thanking God and are thanking President Trump for his leadership, for making not just Israel and America, but the whole world safer.
Terrence Bates
Has this headline which reads, exclusive, Trump says he must be involved in picking Iran's next leader. President Trump told Axios that Khomeini's son is not acceptable. Of course, at this point, it looks like favorite until there's a real uprising among the people. Your thoughts on President Trump and even potentially Mr. Netanyahu being part of the decision for leadership moving forward there in Iran?
Gal Kalev
Yeah, there is, I think first of all, we got to look at the big picture. We're in a turning point of world history. What President Trump is doing is ending this concept of forever war. Because if you think about it, until now, for the last 2000 years, wars ended through some sort of appeasement settlement, some sort of an arrangement that would give short term relief. And then three years later, after the enemies that were scaled down is building back again this war again. And this has been Europe going from 1871 to World War I to World War II. This has been the Middle East. What the president is doing is changing that by having a totally different paradigm. So to have another Iranian leader come in, the son of the current leader, and just basically lick his wounds and a few years build up and then create another stockpile that will threaten the United States, Israel and the Western world will just lead to another war that is forever war. And that is what President Trump is moving away from and delivering a very decisive hit. We're going to have peace through strength, but you need to have this enormous strength in order to have peace.
Dr. Gina
Gal. Of course, there's tremendous pressure from America and even inside maga, honestly, for this to not be a prolonged war, for this war not to widen and broaden, etc. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu contacted the White House after reports that the Trump administration may be communicating with Iran about a ceasefire. And Israeli officials said they are concerned that the US Push for a ceasefire before Israel achieves its objectives could be detrimental in the long term. White House told Netanyahu it's not holding secret talks with Iran. Officials say Iran has sent messages through third countries, but the US has not engaged. So, Gaul, what are the concerns on behalf of Israel if this is brought to a close too soon?
Gal Kalev
I don't think there's concerns. I think President Trump made it clear that he's calling the shots. He's leading this. And Israel is very, very comfortable with this, because this is not just about Israel. This is a broader war. If anybody had any doubt, this is about Israel. You can see where the missiles are heading. In the last few days, a minority of them came to Israel and created a lot of damage, sadly. But the majority of the missiles go to other places, to Arab countries, to the outskirts of Europe, to Cyprus. And the reason they're going to Europe is because previous presidents were asleep at the switch and they didn't handle. They didn't treat the Iran threat seriously. So Iran was able to recently have missile capabilities that reach Cyprus and the outskirts of Europe. If President Trump does not act, did not act, then they would have it within, within weeks or months, missiles that will reach Western Europe, Paris, London. And within a few years, missiles could. Or earlier missiles could reach the United States. So I think this is ultimately, Gina, this is the MAGA war. This is the MAGA war. I know there's concerns within maga, but this is the most prolific expression of maga. Because if you think about it, America, as we spoke in the past, was an ideological exodus from Europe and European dogmas. People that said, okay, there's famine in Europe, we'll just wait. Or somebody's trying to kill our village, we'll just wait. People came to America because they wanted to take charge of their destiny. They wanted to preempt threats. They created this society of exceptionalism, and this is maga. This is President Trump. He's not just waiting for the Iran threat to mushroom and to make it be worse and worse. He's doing what previous presidents perhaps should have done. He's handling this threat. So those missiles that now reach Cyprus will not reach London and New York. And also that the nuclear capabilities they're building cannot be in a suitcase that will go into a football game anywhere in America. President Trump is saving America, is saving the world. And I think, as you know, you've been here, we all here in Israel love President Trump. Not just because he's helping us, but because he's making America great. And when America is great and strong, the world is strong and peaceful.
David Brody
I'll tell you what, Gal, what you just said, there is a pretty provocative statement. This is the MAGA war.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, that's provocative.
David Brody
There's going to be folks in MAGA that are not going to agree with that statement, you realize, bring them on.
Gal Kalev
And I'm happy to speak to them because I understand that this is a boots on the ground war. This is maybe counter maga. But President Trump has changed. He's changing the concept of war and peace. I mean, this is Venezuela, Iran. This is not an isolated thing. This is part, we saw his national security strategy. He's aware of the physical threats, the ideological threats. This is a very, in the previous wars, Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan, previous presidents committed troops. He's gaining victory in Venezuela, in Iran, through different mechanisms, through very sophisticated mechanism in partnership with Israel. And this is something that is very, you know, we spoke many times how Israel and America are rooted in sister ideologies, Zionism and Americanism that are about faith, that are about, you know, taking charge about nationalism. And what we're seeing now is that enormous amount of strength of this partnership. And David, this strength is going to lead to peace. Peace that is based on a completely different frameworks of the, of the past until now with peace through appeasement, you know, two state solution and all that kind of stuff that just leads to more and more war. This is the two state solution for every war, one and the same. President Trump is completely changing the frameworks here. And that's why it is the mega war, because he's exerting America's strength to prevent forever wars. And he's doing that without having troops on the ground. Maybe he has a Gucci, Gucci shoes of CIA agents or Adidas sneakers of Mossad agents, but this is a totally different warfare, revolutionizing warfare, changing history. And we're all grateful to the President.
David Brody
All right, Gol. To be continued. We really appreciate your time. Stay safe over there.
Terrence Bates
Thanks, Gol. Stay safe, brother.

All right. Coming up, pandemic learning loss. Years after school shutdowns, test scores and reading and math are still falling behind. How long could it take for students to catch up? We're going to break down the latest data when we come back.

Ooh, Lakeway, Texas. It looks like some good skiing could happen there. Looks like a lot of fun. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. It is time now for today's health news. I love seeing development on lakes. I don't like lakes that are just like there's no development anywhere because the environmentalists have said, oh, you can't build on lakes. And ever been to lake the Ozarks? So much fun. All right, today's health news. Sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope, a new study shows American students still paying the price for Covid school shutdowns. The new national data confirms the academic damage from COVID shutdowns is immense. The National Assessment of Educational Progress, often called the nation's report card, says that reading and math dropped sharply after Covid shutdowns, with the steepest declines in decades recorded. Researchers say many students are at least half a grade behind in core subject areas. Here's the bigger issue though. US Scores were already at an all time low before schools closed. Don't forget we were number one in the entire world when the Department of Education was opened. Right. President needs to follow through on his campaign promise to abolish the Department of Education and give parents privacy and choice to truly restore American education. Trump administration has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system, though the reality is that there's only so much time government, only so much the government can actually do. And that if we really want to make America healthy again, it's going to start at home with each of us. And that's where the wellness company comes in. You know them, you see and hear from their doctors all the time on this network. You know their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping your family safe. The wellness company gives you a chance to make sure you're prepared for whatever happens with their prescription medical kits. These kits contain an assortment of life saving medications and guidebooks to assist in the proper use of the meds in the kits. Additionally, the wellness company offers a variety of products. Parasite cleanses, Methylene blue. Weight loss. So much more. These can help you stay healthy and live a longer life. Make America healthy again starts at home. Do your part. Protect the health of yourself and your family. Go to TWC slab. Here we go. TWC health slash rap today. Give it an order. That's TWC health slash RAV. Use the promo code RAB. That'll save you 10%. Right, David? 10%. See you listen to Usher on the way to work and you start saying bzint the whole time.
David Brody
It's so, so good. You're so hip, you're so cool. Yeah, you're so rad.
Dr. Gina
That's what my kids. Yeah, they don't call me a boomer. Yeah, every day.
David Brody
No way.
Dr. Gina
No, literally.
David Brody
No. You're like Gen Z at this point.
Dr. Gina
Oh, yeah, Well, I am actually Gen X, but my mom was a boomer. So when they call me a boomer, I'm always like, you're not really hurting my feelings cuz I love my mom in that generation, so leave me alone. Yeah, that's right.
David Brody
All right, well from one Gen X to another, here we go. President Trump. That's right. President Trump slamming some European allies over their response to the conflict with Iran in an interview with the New York Post. Trump called Spain a loser after the country refused to allow US Forces to use its military bases during the Iran strikes. President also said UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer should have backed America without question, adding he was very disappointed by Britain's initial refusal to allow the US or, excuse me, to allow the US to use some of its bases. And here, by the way, is what Starmer had a say about the operations in Iran. Take a look at this.

strength to protect our people. And it means having the strength to
David Brody
stand firm by our values and our principles, no matter the pressure to do otherwise. All right, for more, let's bring in political commentator and former adviser Boris Johnson. That would be Thomas Corbett Dillon. Thomas, my goodness. All right, it sounds nice. He's got the accent and everything, you know, knock yourself out on that. But you know what? Stop being a coward. Say President Trump's name. That's who he's talking about. Give me a break. Good morning.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Good morning. Yeah, I mean, it really is embarrassing to listen to him. I mean, he just is so uninspiring when you guys have got such a cool leader. We've got the boring guy giving awful speeches. So, yeah, it is. It's a sad state for England, but that's okay.
Dr. Gina
Well, I mean, in a way, so British like, so British. Right, Right.
David Brody
Such chaos. Such chaos.
Dr. Gina
Always, always proper, if perhaps sometimes boring. All right, Thomas. The global economy could face new shocks as the conflict with Iran escalates. The Guardian reports globalization itself could be under threat as attacks and blockades disrupt key trade routes, including, of course, the Strait of Hormuz. The report says Britain is especially vulnerable here now because its economy relies so much on imports for energy, food and fertilizer. Fertilizer is a new one that we're hearing a lot about. This also warns rising energy prices and supply disruptions could send costs higher, expose major weaknesses in global supply chains. We don't need that again, Thomas.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah, no, exactly right. And of course it's once again the UK has put itself into this position because of course, you know, we sit on massive oil reserves in the North Sea that, you know, the environmentalists won't let us use them. So, you know, the UK has put itself into this situation but is already seeing knock on effects. The petrol price, gasoline price in the UK has has rocketed just since the Iran war started already. Whereas actually, I don't think there's Been too much effect here in the US you guys are much better isolating yourselves and preparing for these things. The UK is not in a good situation anymore. So, yeah, the, the knock on effects are definitely being hit much harder in the UK than they are being felt in the US but you know, that's just because you guys are better at using your own resources. Apparently we're not allowed to use our own resources in the UK anymore.
David Brody
Yeah. What do you make of this going forward? I mean, I'm assuming Starmer is going to try and just have some sort of. I mean, I don't know what's his plan? I mean, I mean, like, how is he going to handle the Iran war going forward on all of this? And what kind of constituency does he have to kind of deal with back home.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Is currently made up of crazy leftists and Muslims. So, you know, he has a tougher situation on his hands. And of course you can see that why he keeps going out and you know, telling everyone that the UK wasn't involved in this at all. You know, we would never attack Iran. You know, we love the Muslims. And this is exactly what he's trying to do because they. That is his base in the uk, which is really sad, but that's who he's trying to appease to. But you know, the question. Yeah, what is his plan? I don't think he even knows. None of us know what his plan is. But what he is doing above everything is alienating our greatest ally, the United States, which just makes no sense whatsoever. And I heard him in his little statement there about he's going to deploy the British military to defend our bases. Well, we don't have anything to deploy because they've cut all the funding to our military. All of our ships are in dockyards being repaired right now. So, yes, it's come down that for once the French are having to defend British bases in Cyprus. So it really is just an embarrassing situation for the uk.
Dr. Gina
Thomas, we're completely out of time, but I want to give you 10 seconds to comment. Any updates on the whole Epstein fallout there in the uk we have no fallout in the US it's like Epstein files never even dropped. Go ahead.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah, it seems the only people getting arrested are the Brits, which, you know, I'm happy they're getting arrested. They deserve it. But I'd love to see some Americans getting arrested too. You know, I think some of the Andrew stuff, I think Bill Clinton did just as bad things, if not worse than old Andrew. So we got to get him in front of some legal situation, I'd hope.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, some investigations would be a nice place to start. Thomas Corbett, thank you so much. Thomas Corbett Dillon. Can't forget that third name because he's a Brit. Thank you for your time. All right, coming up, some military families say woke policies are taking over the Pentagon and the run schools by them and President Trump says he's ready to step in. New reports claim leftist ideology is influencing the classroom and parents don't have much say. Is change coming for military kids? We're going to assess that next on American Sunrise.
Terrence Bates
Foreign.

Coffee pods are made easy, but most of them are just caffeine and nothing else. Rejuvenate Pods are built differently though. They're clean Arabica pods infused with caakg, which is a compound that links that's linked, excuse me, to longevity, metabolism and deep cellular energy. It's the easiest way to get better focus, smoother energy and long term benefits without changing your routine. Hold on, let me indulge. Ah yes. Here at Real America's Voice, we choose them because they match our lifestyle. More energy, more clarity and more intention in how we start our day. If you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually supports the life that you're building. Head over to 1775 coffee.com rav and try rejuvenate Pods today. Don't just drink Coffee Rejuvenate. Yeah, I'm sorry, that probably is too much for the commercial. For the commercial read. But I do need some caffeine. Now that we're caffeinated, it is time to stay awake, not woke, as some of our most treasured patriots and their children are under woke patrol. And it looks like President Trump is on his way to their rescue. The President is taking aim at leftist ideology, infiltrating the Department of Defense schools that serve military families. In fact, I am a product of what's called Dodds or today Dodius Schools. They are schools that currently lack elected boards and leave parents with little say in their children's education. According to a new analysis, progressive material on race, gender identity and ideological affirmed names has creeped into classrooms and service members say that they've been shut out of the decision making process. Supporters argue that President Trump and the defense leadership can fix this by restoring parental voice, encouraging school choice for military kids, and pushing back against Wokeism in Dodea. That's Dodea. Remember I said Dodds or Dodea classrooms. It's all part of a broader push to defend. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to talk a bit more about this. Dr. Gina and David these schools, Dodea schools, Dodd schools, they are typically nicknamed the President Schools. They are considered or at least hold themselves to high esteem. But the reality is they don't necessarily have a governing body. They are run by the government, if you will. And so that creates a bit of a rift, if you will, for parents who want more insight and more say in their children's schools.
Dr. Gina
Dr. Gina yeah, well, I graduated with someone in my PhD class. I've told this story who his job was to go in and impart DEA on every single element of military. That was what he was hired to do. So that is something that has been, it's not accidental, these things. These schools haven't just magically liberalized these schools. It was planned, it was orchestrated and it was implemented. And there's no mistake. I mean, our soldiers, as recently as just before President Trump was elected, reelected, were still being taught that sensitivity to Sharia law was something that they should be very aware of, along with a lot of other things. So, yeah, there's just, there are a lot of problems, David, but this is, this is very orchestrated. We need to realize that the only way to fight that kind of planning and orchestration that's been going on since the 1960s is to fight back and be sure that it's our plans and our orchestrations that go into our education system or completely privatize them, as I say all the time. And abolish the Department of Education entirely.
David Brody
DAVID yeah, for sure. But you know, it's interesting because the administration has been fighting back. I mean, there was an executive order done in January when President Trump took office last year specifically calling for parental or school choice for parents there in these Defense Department schools. So Pete Hegseth was supposed to give this report to the administration about what's going to be done. We'll have to follow up on that because I mean, clearly there are still some issues there. And by the way, Congress has introduced bills to kind of make sure the woke stuff is taken out and giving parental school choice to these kids and to the parents there specifically. But once again, it's a bill in Congress. So all they care about is like naming post offices. That's all they do in Congress anyhow. So that's not going anywhere anyhow. The point is there needs to be some serious follow up here to see okay, so what's going on because you talk a good game, but where's the action? T. BATES Right.
Terrence Bates
And one of the challenges is particularly abroad, it's the only American option for many of these schools. There aren't really school choices. It's a school that's on a base. Either you go to the American school on the base or maybe if you're lucky, you live in a community that has an international school which typically are British and you may not necessarily want to send your kid there or you send your kid to what's called the school on the economy or the school that's outside the base, the local school. So there's not really school choice, if you will, as we know it here in the United States. Abroad. Here in the United States, it's a little different. You're still school may be on the base, but there are other schools that are American schools, public schools off the base. Go ahead.
David Brody
Dr.
Dr. Gina
There's a big push right now for the little red schoolhouse concept on bases all across America where families are getting together who are conservative, perhaps probably Christian, and they are forming their own little one room schoolhouses with all the grades where they all teach each other. Just going back to the Little House on the Prairie concept, which worked a lot better than our institutionalized education that we have now. So maybe they work for Melissa Gilbert, families who don't know. I always thought schooling is an option as well. Yeah.
Terrence Bates
Good night, John Boy. Good night, Clara. Right show wrong. I don't know. That's the one. The Wrong show. Okay, well, I tried it. I tried it. Coming up, religion in Texas schools. A new state law allows districts to create time for voluntary prayer or religious reading. Most school districts, though, voting no after being required to consider the policy. So why are they turning it down? We'll have some analysis next here on American Sunrise.
David Brody
God bless the USA
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
in the beginning,
David Brody
God created the heaven and the earth.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
All right.
Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is time now for our moment of faith brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. And in focus today, a new Texas law sparking debate over religion in public schools. The law requires school boards to decide by March, actually the first, whether to offer a daily period for voluntary prayer or reading religious text. But most districts across the state have voted against adopting the practice. Only about 15 districts are moving forward with that optional prayer time. Let's bring in evangelist, pastor and the founder of Revival today, Jonathan Shuttlesworth. Jonathan, what the heck?
David Brody
I mean, I'm not surprised because the school boards were the ones challenging whether to have it.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
And the ruling is just now they have the option to have it. So the fact that they hate prayer didn't change.
David Brody
But for me, you know, the victory is, if you think back five years ago, you were getting, I mean, I'm a pastor. You would have a kid that wanted
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
to start a Bible club and they
David Brody
would be told they can't.
Terrence Bates
So those days are over.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Or not being able to pray at graduation.
David Brody
So it at least swung where the students or a youth pastor can organize something at the school without.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Without there being some kind of heavy repercussion.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it is a dilemma, I'll tell you, because, you know, as a homeschool mother and private school parents I know reckon with this as well. If we take all of our kids out of the public schools, they're left with people who would never vote in having prayer in schools or prayer meetings, things like that.
David Brody
That's right.
Dr. Gina
But then again, we can't sacrifice our kids to not. So it really does present a dilemma unless something radical is done. What's your suggestion? If you had 30 seconds with President Trump, what would you say to him about this?
David Brody
I don't think President Trump can do any more.
Public Sponsor/Announcer
You cleared the way.
David Brody
At some point, the church has to get involved. You can't expect some blue hair, Kamala voting Subaru driving teacher to suddenly get interested in prayer. I don't even know if you'd want them leading prayer. The church has an open door here to change positively the fabric of the country. They can't sit back and expect Trump
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
to do any more than he's doing.
David Brody
Pastors and youth pastors should take this open door, particularly in Texas, and get involved in their local school district.
Dr. Gina
Well, and we definitely, though, do need the abolition of the Department of Education. But somebody in the chat pointed out, my goodness, you know, you offer school choice and what happens? The Islamists take advantage of it and start using it for military style training camps for their youth. So that's a scary thing as well. We have to think this through because revolution is coming. People are sick of the failure of public education and it's going to have to be fixed. We need the DOE to be abolished. And we need some good choices out there for parents. Jonathan Shuttlesworth, thank you so much for being with us.
David Brody
Thanks, Dr. Gina.
Terrence Bates
All right.
Dr. Gina
Be sure to tune in to Revival TODAY with Jonathan at 9:00am this Sunday morning right here on Real America's Voice. Back with the second hour of American Sunrise in two minutes.
David Brody
Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, President Trump dismisses Kristi Noem and picks Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullen to head the Department of Homeland Security. We're going to talk about the political fallout as Democrats, by the way, continue to refuse funding the department. Plus, attorneys with Jeanine Pirro's U.S. attorney's office have dropped their probe into former President Joe Biden's use of the auto pen to make executive decisions. We're going to have the details on that later on. Also ahead, new polling data revealing Republican voters overwhelmingly back President Trump's combat operations in Iran, contrasting greatly with the general public. We're going to break down those numbers later in the hour. Those stories, so much more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts on a Puppy Friday, a Freedom Friday, a Freaky Friday right now. Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise on this Freaky Friday. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G, who's in West Palm T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Gina, you were cruising through to Usher this morning, I understand. Is that the rumor on the street that you are so hip, so trendy, so cool?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, not really. But you know what is cool? We are up on Rav Espanol, and they translate our words into Spanish for that audience. And it is amazing you guys are so fluent.
David Brody
Oh, muchos gracias, senorita. Me appreciate mioco.
Terrence Bates
I just hope my super underneath is Papi Terrence. That's what I want it to be in Spanish. Papi Terrence or Papichulo. Yes. There you go. There's an actual.
David Brody
That's what we're gonna call you from now on. We're calling you that from now on. No, we're not.
Terrence Bates
Papulo.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
There you go.
Dr. Gina
I just want to be Sanchez.
Terrence Bates
Oh, my goodness. All right, guys, so look, before I get into this story, I'm sorry. Now you guys just have me thinking. Can you guys bring back up Dr. Gina? Because. And, David, I want to ask a question before we get into this story. We're calling it a firing for Christine. We're going to talk more about it, but she's got a new job. She's been reassigned. Is it technically a firing, or is it a reassignment? Your thoughts? And I guess, you know. Yeah, but because I'm really struggling. Like, should I call it a firing, or should she simply be reassigned? Dr. Gina, your thoughts?
Dr. Gina
Well, I think the President called it a firing. I'm not exactly sure, but I've seen that word used quite by many credible sources. They did give her something else, which I think was a good thing. You know, I knew the day before when I saw Kennedy ask her that question. Did the President tell you? Did he authorize that $220 million to go into that commercial with you on horseback? And I knew then that was at least going to be put before the President for review. David?
David Brody
Yeah. In answer to your question, Terrence, yes, technically, it's a reassignment. What it really is, is a firing. There you have it. Okay.
Terrence Bates
Okay. All right. Thank you. Because I've literally been waffling. I'm like, technically, it is kind of a reassignment. She's got a new job. Okay.
Robert Charles
All right.
Terrence Bates
Well, anyway, to that point, the shakeup in the President's cabinet still has the nation's capital buzzing this morning, whether it's a firing or reassignment. But what we do know is that now former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is off the job. Oklahoma Senator Mark Wainwright Mullen appears to be President Trump's pick to replace her. He has pretty much said that the move to pink slip Noem comes after she faced two days of intense grilling before House and Senate Judiciary Committees. It's not all bad news for the former South Dakota governor, as 47 has tapped her to be a special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, which is a new security initiative that's focused on the Western Hemisphere. The US House joined the Senate in rejecting a war powers resolution that would have stopped President Trump's authority to continue attacks on Iran. The measure failed by a close 212 to 219 margin. In the meantime, the US embassy in Kuwait is now the second American diplomatic mission in the Middle east to shut down over Iranian strikes. Iranian attacks on the country have already claimed the lives of six American soldiers there. Their bodies are scheduled to to be returned to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware tomorrow. President Trump will be on hand for the Dignified Transfer Service along with their families. And a federal judge in New York says the companies that paid tariffs that were ultimately struck down by the US Supreme Court last month are due refunds. The federal government reportedly collected more than $130 billion in tariffs through the December time frame. By the time the Supreme Court ruled on the taxes, that number is believed to have ballooned to about 175 billion, which is the amount that some analysts believe the federal government may ultimately have to repay. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your hometown forecast with Tracy Anthony from Weather Nation. Tracy, good morning to you.
Dr. Gina
Hey, good morning. We've got a couple hometown casts that are kind of right in the path of the severe thunderstorm threat for the daytime. So Fort Worth, Texas, this from YouTube Winston on YouTube, 79 degrees today. So we're still in that heat, 68 tomorrow. But look at the stormy forecast into the weekend. So the big key with these strong storms is going to be the threat overnight. So you definitely want to have a way to get alerts to wake you up if those storms knock on your doorstep. This from Elizabeth on Getter, Kansas City, Missouri. You also are kind of right in the heart of the strong to severe thunderstorms throughout the overnight tonight. And this is that level three severe weather threat. So we are in the middle of a multi day severe weather outbreak. And the reason we're up to that enhanced risk level is for the threat of tornadoes. And we will have the threat for powerful EF2 or stronger tornadoes. We are also expecting the chance to for 2 inch diameter hail and Terrance winds up to 75 miles per hour. So the next couple of days across the Central Plains, it's very important to stay weather aware.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. You can always Download the Weather Nation app to stay aware in your particular neighborhood as well. Tracy, always good to see you. Have a great weekend.
David Brody
You, too.
Terrence Bates
Thank you so much. All right, let's shift things over to David Brody now. David, good morning, sir.
David Brody
Good morning, tbasey.
Terrence Bates
Let's see more. Good morning, sir.
David Brody
Well, top of the morning to you. Let's have a little, I don't know what kind of breakfast. What do they have over there?
Terrence Bates
I have no idea.
David Brody
Yes, let's do that. All right, we're continuing to follow that shakeup in President Trump's cabinet, so let's get more on that. Joining us now with a reaction is Florida Congressman Jimmy Petronas. Congressman, always good to see you and good morning to you. So we've got Mark Wayne Mullen, the senator. He is in pending confirmation, that is Noem is out. What do you make of the transition? What do you think Mark Wayne Mullen will bring to the job? Good morning.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Good morning. Thank you for having me. Look, I'm excited for Mark Wayne. Mark Wayne's a great guy. He's got a great following. He used to be a former member of the House. Now he's in the Senate. There should be, in my opinion, no hitches with his confirmation. But look, I think every one of these agencies, there's so much that's being consumed at them. Every once in a while, you need to have an opportunity to bring some, some fresh set of eyes. And Christy will do a great job for this new initiative. She, she's a loyalist to the president. And I think Mark Wayne's ability to manage what we need to do at dhs, we've got to get the agency back up and running. We've got to get it funded. That sitting over the Senate, we voted a new funding package again yesterday. So, I mean, I think this probably could have been all of a part of to try to take temperatures down.
Terrence Bates
I think you must have been reading my mind because I was going to ask you about that vote. You guys passed the new DHS funding. Now it heads to the Senate. Will it go anywhere or will it be dead on arrival again, based on the Democrats resistance?
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Yeah. Look, Leader Thune is going to work this. And as you had the president enter himself into the discussion, into the negotiation directly with the Democrats. This is all part of what the president was able to negotiate with Schumer in order to get them to come back to the table. So a number of those concessions that they had asked for, we've already done. Christy and Noem jumped out quick when they Wanted body cams. Body cams are in place. But then, you know, we also changed things up and bringing Tom Homan into Minneapolis. I've already gotten feedback from folks in Minneapolis that just talk about Tom Homan's just bedside manner when it comes to managing the immigration criminal selection process. To bring these guys to, to, to the court system or get them out is, Is just, he's good at it. You know, this is the same guy that got the Presidential Medal of Freedom for this type of job under Obama. He's a pro, he's a public servant. And whether it's Republican or Democrat, he is going to uphold federal law. And that's exactly what he's doing. I think right now. That's what our country needs as we start to get our arms around the criminal activity and immigration and get them out of our country from hurting our kids.
Dr. Gina
Congressman, one piece of very unfinished business right now seems to be Tina Peters. A lot of people don't understand why she's still there. A lot of people that can relate very strongly to what Tina Peters is going through are J6 prisoners. And J6 prisoners took my heart right from the beginning because I was wrongly sort of persecuted during that time as well. Never put in jail, but for the same reasons. And so I guess one of the things that was going around last night among some of the J6 threads that I'm in is that Mark Wayne Mullen had made a comment. Not just a comment, rather a series of comments commending the slime that killed Ashley Babbitt that day on January 6th. Did he ever walk any of that back? Has there been any apology? And do you believe if he wants to be confirmed, he'll address that with those who are empathic to our J6ers?
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
I think there's a number of. Mark, remember Mark Wayne Mullen was in the house chamber when January 6th took place. I think there was a lot of comments made that were probably out of the emotions of the time. So, I mean, I would not be surprised if you don't see a different tone again. The President stood in after and made sure he did everything as much as he could to do right by those J6ers. So, you know, again, emotions get flaring at a time, you know, I was not there with, with the members of Congress on January 6th to understand what type of things they were, were hearing and seeing. And I'm sure Mark Wayne's response was strictly because of the moment and the time and place that he was in.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, if you see him I think it would be great to suggest that maybe he addressed this with the J6ers anyway.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up. You know, and there's a little bit of a misunderstanding people brought up about, about Ms. Peters the other day on social media. And they said, well, you know, the President hasn't done anything. The president can't pardon a woman who has been convicted under state law. So, I mean, this is, this is a problem you got. And you're not going to get any movement out of a Democratic governor out of Colorado on this because these guys have Trump derangement syndrome. They're just not going to do it.
Dr. Gina
Well, you probably know better than I, but apparently there is a way that it's doable by deputizing her as a federal deputy or something, lets her be tried in a federal way. I don't know all the ins and outs. I'm certainly not a lawyer, but whatever we can do, something needs to be done. David, go ahead.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
No, that's. Yeah, thanks for bringing that up.
David Brody
Well, we're going to have more on this, actually. Donna Feducci is coming up in just a little bit to talk more about Tina Peters and everything going on there.
Gal Kalev
Okay.
David Brody
Congressman, speaking of controversial comments, we got less than a minute to go, but President Trump is responding to what Tucker Carlson had recently said. You know, in an interview with ABC News correspondent Jonathan Carl, the president said, tucker, this is a, quote, tucker has lost his way. He added, quote, he's not maga. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first. And Tucker is none of those things. I'd be curious to get your take on this. Look, he's got a huge following. There's a lot of folks that actually do believe in what Tucker is saying. So I'm curious to get your, your take on what the President said.
Jonathan Shuttlesworth
Look, I am a supporter of our president. We're at a time of war right now. We're trying to eliminate weapons of mass destruction and nukes from a country that hates us as they're attacking out against all of the Middle Eastern states. There's been a unity that's come together because of this. Again, understand where Tucker is going. He has been pretty principled about a lot of these positions that he's taken. But again, I think the President is in the right here. We've got to continue to support our troops. We've got to continue to make sure that we have a denuclearized Iran in this country, in this world.
David Brody
Yep. Congressman, thanks for being here. Really appreciate you as always.
Terrence Bates
Thanks.
David Brody
Have a great weekend.
Dr. Gina
Thanks, Congressman.
Terrence Bates
Have a good one. All right.
David Brody
Sounds good. Hey, before we go to break, we want to change gears and talk Medicare. A lot of folks aren't getting the full story. Most Medicare agents push Medicare Advantage plans even when they're not right for you. So why is that? Well, that's because that's where the money is for them. Seniors, though, are paying the price and that's what makes chapter different. They're going to walk you through original Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage and Part D plans, all with the pros and the cons laid out so you can make the right call for your health needs. Donna said her I don't know if she has a last name. It's just Donna. Donna said her chapter advisor walked her through every option and explained everything in a way she could actually understand. Plus, they saved her thousands of dollars. So if you're on Medicare or will be soon, this is what you do. Here's the number to call 814 chapter. That's it, 814 chapter to learn about enrollment options and find ways to save. It is free. It's quick. They can review your options in under 20 minutes. Most people wish they had called sooner. All right. More American Sunrise on the way. Stay with us, everybody. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. Time now to drain the swamp. This morning we're flushing out Joe Biden's auto pen, or at least the people that we're going to possibly prosecute over it. U.S. attorney Jeanine Pirro's office has officially dropped dropped its criminal probe into the auto pen scandal. The investigation sought to determine whether Biden or his aides used the device to approve major executive actions, including pardons and judicial appointments. Now, President Trump had argued that if staffers were using an auto pen without Biden's direct approval, it could raise serious questions about the legality of those actions. But prosecutors have now closed the case, saying they could not find a clear legal basis to move forward with charges. We want to know what you think about that. We'll have a lot more to say about it in coming shows. Let us know on Rumble and get her.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Hop on.
David Brody
Let your voice be heard. All right. Coming up here on American Sunrise on A Friday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis says he's considering granting clemency for pro Trump election worker Tina Peters, who is still serving a nine year prison sentence. And she's in failing health. We'll have the details after the break.
Terrence Bates
Foreign.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Welcome back.

You're looking at Times Square. We're going to take it to New York here in short order for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in about eight minutes or so. We'll of course, have a quick look at your forecast where your stocks and bonds and the markets here momentarily, but also just want to pass along as we look at at the numbers. You can see the very top, the dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ not looking so good. That could change following the latest jobs report that was released by the Labor Department earlier this morning. It shows that the US economy added about 92,000 jobs in February. That's still well below expectations, though. We'll continue to have the very latest developments as they come in. Also, I will monitor the markets to see how those numbers impact this day of trading on this Friday. We'll take you there to the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange here in short order. First, though, let's get you over to Dr. Gina. Dr. G. Good morning.
Dr. Gina
Good morning, Terrence. Thank you. Colorado's Democrat Governor Jared Polis signaling he may be open to granting clemency to Tina Peters, who is still serving ridiculously, unbelievably, a nine year prison sentence over a 2020 election case where she was really just trying to get to the truth. The governor admits the sentence handed down may have been a little harsh. Yeah. Noting Peters has had no prior criminal record. Not only that, she's a gold star mom and she has cancer and she lost her husband through the middle of all of this. President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for Peters to be freed, describing her as a patriot who was targeted for trying to expose possible election fraud. But Democrat leaders in Colorado pushing back, warning that clemency could not be granted should not be granted under political pressure. Joining me now to discuss more is the co host of Cowboy Logic right here on RAV, who has had the backs of our J6ers and Tina Peters from the very beginning. Donna Fiducia, happy Friday to you. Happy Freedom Friday. Happy Puppy Friday to you and to Puppy Bannon. Donna, we've been following this story for a long time. People are saying, as our last guest just said, Congressman Petronas said, there's nothing President Trump can really do about it. But I've seen a lot of patriots having conversations that say that, yes, there is something. What is it?
Donna Fiducia
Well, a lot of people, Dr. Jean, are saying that she could be treated as a federal witness because this was a federal election. And the thing is, now the Colorado governor Paulus is saying, well, if she expresses remorse for what she did, maybe we'll let her out. Remorse for doing her job? Since when do you get nine years for doing your job? The problem is, and I think everybody realizes now that she exposed what was going on in all of these deep blue states that don't want election integrity. This is a slap in the face of justice. As you said, no priors. She's seven years, 70 plus years old now. She did her job. She's a cancer survivor and her husband died. They also went after her early on in this and threw her in prison for one night when they knew her father was in hospice and he died that night. I mean, this is how evil these people are in Colorado. They just don't care. And now the Colorado ag, Phil Weiser, who, whose office prosecuted Tina and he's running for governor because polis is. Has to, you know, I guess it's two terms and you're out. He said she should show remorse too. Well, again, Jenna Griswold, let's look at her. The Colorado Secretary of State now running for ag. She left passcodes out on the Internet for months in 60 counties. I mean, that's multiple elections. That's 60 plus counties. That's a felony, I think, in each count. And Trump's post really tells it all. Instead of protecting Americans and their tax dollars, Dems chose to prosecute anyone that wants to look at safe and secure elections. It all boils down to what's going on nationwide. Look at here in Fulton County. We're outside Atlanta here on cowboy logic. I mean, you've got celebrity lawyers like Norm Eisen fighting tooth and nail to keep the election ballots from being shown. They're trying to get them back because the Democrats know it's the ballots, it's the paper. That's what's really going to prove this election was stolen. And that is what Tina Peters did. She did her job. She needs to get out. Now, I know that her lawyers say they showed cases that were far worse than Tina's. In fact, if anything, her should be a misdemeanor, which I think is 12 to 15 months. She's already almost served all of that. Let her out. This is ridiculous. Even put her on house arrest at this point. But the double standard is so frightening. And we're seeing right now that really DC could care less about us, we the people, and certainly these politicians in all these deep, deep blue states and some of the red states like here in Georgia, just could care less about election integrity.
Dr. Gina
It's so unbelievable, Donna, that we're still battling this most fundamental issues. Turning now, Donna, to the dhs. As you know, President Trump has nominated Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullen to replace Kristi Noem to head the department. But this is the same senator that praised Capitol Police officer that shot and killed Ashley Babbitt during the J6 demonstrations. Don, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't Even know the J6ers on the personal level that I do. But having met her mother, having seen what her mother goes through on a daily basis, meeting Ashley Babbitt, her mother, Mickey. Donna, to my knowledge, there's been no apology from Mullen on this. To my knowledge, there's been no recognition of all of the hell that our J6ers have endured. The horrible abuse and torture in the jails, not to mention them being prosecuted, many of them, for doing absolutely nothing except loving their country. Donna, talk to us about what needs to happen here, because this is a big red flag to a lot of us in maga.
Donna Fiducia
Well, I think a lot of the people that were in D.C. at the time bought the Kool Aid. That's really what it boiled down to.
Gal Kalev
Look at.
Donna Fiducia
They're inside the velvet ropes. I mean, come on. This is just stupid. You know, look at what has happened in virtually every major Democrat city around the country. They're burning it down practically and getting away with it. But that's okay because that's possibly the Democrats and also antifa and BLM. Well, there were a lot of antifa and BLM in that crowd on January 6th. Remember, the FBI kept stalling, saying, oh, there might have been a few. Then it turned out to be hundreds of people that were in that crowd. That was a peaceful crowd. If anybody watched any of the videos, which, again, is another reason why they don't want them released until police, Capitol police and Metro Police actually fired into the crowd.
Dr. Gina
And I was, like, fighting for the good hearings we were supposed to get under Republican leadership. Real quick. Yes or no, Donna? Because we're completely out of time. We gotta go to Bell. Have you heard from Mickey on this? On Mullen?
Donna Fiducia
No, haven't heard from Mickey.
Dr. Gina
You should have her show this weekend. Yeah, that's me making your show for you, telling you how to do your job. Donna.
Donna Fiducia
Hey, we're gonna have Buzz Patterson, who carried the nuclear football for the Clintons. One wall separated him from Bill and Hillary's bedroom. I can't imagine what he's gonna have to say.
Dr. Gina
All right, that's gonna be good, Donna. Thank you so much for being with us. We'll see you this weekend. Let's get back to Karen's in Denver for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

The final day of trading of this work we getting underway right now in New York. You can see the applause or you'll see it momentarily. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The applause is underway. The opening bell is set to ring here momentarily. And then we'll get an idea of how the markets are looking on this Friday of trading. Right on cue. Here you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The opening bell is going to ring in 3, 2 and 1. There you have it. All right, let's take a quick look at how the markets are looking right now. Not so hot. The Dow is down. The S&P 500 is down. The tech heavy NASDAQ is down as well. The bottom of your screen, though, looking pretty good. Let's see how the rest of the day shapes up. The jobs numbers are out and employment was down from what was expected. So that very well may impact how things look here on the market again. We'll be watching it for you throughout the day here on Real America's Voice. Still to come on American Sunrise, a new poll shows that President Trump's Republican base is strongly supporting US Strikes against Iran, while the broader electorate remains pretty divided on the issue. We'll break down the numbers for you, but you have to stick around to hear what they are

Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on YouTube. Getter and Rumble. Time now to take the political pulse of America. Here's the beat today. An NBC News survey finds President Donald Trump's core Republican base is behind the decision to use military force. It said 90% of voters who identify with the MAGA movement support the strikes, while just 5% say they oppose them. But the picture looks different across the broader electorate. A majority of registered voters say they disapprove of how the situation is being handled, and more than half say the US should not have taken military strikes against Iran. Pollsters say public opinion on military conflicts can shift quickly, though, and I believe it probably already has, especially as the results of the campaign become clear. To discuss, let's bring in David Brody and Terrence Bates. David, I do believe the president has largely support of the base on the initial strikes. I don't think there's any doubt about that. But I think as others have come out, some people, not even traditionally in alignment with President Trump on most things are saying, I'm sorry, rather, people that would not be on the side rather, of Israel, not President Trump. I said that wrong. They have come out and said that would rather be in alignment with on the side of Israel. Here we go. You know who I'm talking about.
David Brody
I know what you're saying.
Dr. Gina
You know exactly what I'm trying to say have come out. In other words, people that wouldn't be the usual suspects coming out and saying they have questions. You've certainly had some strong conservative voices coming out and having some. Some concerns. David Brody, you've been very level on this. You were certainly a big supporter of Israel. But you have some questions, you have some hopes, I guess, for how quickly this all subsides. Go ahead, tell us where we stand on this. Where you think MAGA is on this?
David Brody
Well, I think the polling here is correct. I think overall, as to what you say that largely MAGA is behind President Trump on here. But here's the key word. Initial. You said initial strikes. Okay, initial's fine. But what happens when it's now, what is it? March? What happens when it's September and we're still talking about military involvement? Or in two to three months, even in June or July, Then I think the polling changes, and I'm not really, I don't believe that MAGA will be as much into this in about two to three months, let alone six months. So I think the polling does change now. Yes, but let's wait. I think that's the key. So I've got a lot more to say about it. But T. Bates, where are you at on this?
Terrence Bates
So I tend to agree with you that the longer this thing wages on, the more the polling will change. And I'll just add a caveat to that, David. I suspect that the polling generally will remain pretty consistent if we're continuing to kind of run this campaign as we are basically from the sea, basically just aerial strikes. If there were an occasion where there would be boots on the ground, I suspect the polling would change dramatically and appetite for this war would change dramatically. If in fact there were a situation where there were American boots on the ground, I suspect that would be a game changer. David.
David Brody
Well, let me just say this, that the polling that Gina was talking about, that NBC poll, I looked inside of it, 12% of Americans, just 12% of Americans, support boots on the ground. And I guarantee you that's about 0.00001% of MAGA.
Dr. Gina
But the problem, David, tactically, from what I understand, it's hard to get in and get out without boots on the ground. So we could be in a situation where President Trump, Secretary of War Hegseth, could be facing getting out before the job is really done if they don't put boots on the ground. I am not advocating for boots on the ground. I will be one of the first ones to say I am not advocating for, for that. I'm just saying how do you win a war from an airstrike?
David Brody
Well, exactly. And that's the problem, see, because you're saying get out. How to get out? What does that even mean, get out at this point? Are we talking about getting out after the actual initial war phase, like right now? Like in other words, boots on the ground along with the military? No, no one wants that. But the boots on the ground aspect could come after the strikes. In other words, if there's regime change and you need stability on the ground and you need American troops to go in to kind of keep the peace, if you will. Well, here we go down that dangerous road that MAGA never wanted.
Terrence Bates
That's the concern. And my suspicion would be if that were to happen even in the aftermath of the strikes, if there were to be American troops on the ground there, I suspect the American appetite For that would sour pretty significantly.
David Brody
Absolutely. And Trump's aware of that, so I'm not quite sure it'll come to that. But the problem is, is that if you're gonna win, you gotta win and you gotta win big and you gotta win quick. So Trump's gonna be faced with a PR nightmare situation in terms of boots on the ground. That's a problem. But they also might believe that if they wanna win, this is the best way to do it quickly. So that's going to be a rubber meets the road situation. It'll be interesting to watch. All right, let's turn to the runoff primary, shall we? So, speaking about controversy, here's some more controversy for us. The Senate election in Texas. President Trump reportedly still leaning towards endorsing. Just close your. Just do this. He's thinking about endorsing Senator John Cornyn. His rival, Ken Paxton says he is open to dropping out of the race, actually, but has conditions. Here's what Paxton put on X. He wrote this. The Save America act is the most important bill the US Senate could ever pass, and I'm committed to helping President Trump get it done. I would consider dropping out of the race if Senate leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and pass the Save America Act. Well, isn't that interesting? Let's talk about it. I'm sure, Gina and Terrence, you have a lot to say about that. But let's also bring in Texas State Representative Wes Verdell, who I'm sure has quite a bit to say about this. Representative, good to see you. So, Cornyn, Paxton, where are you on it? Good morning to you.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Good morning. Thanks for having me on. Yeah, it's really. You know, I was with Ken Paxton on the night of the election, and I think it's incredibly shows how smart Ken Paxton is to put that statement out saying, hey, he will sacrifice his future if the Senate will do the right thing. Now, here's the reality. John Cornyn isn't strong enough to even make that happen. Senator Thune is. The pressure is now on him to do that. And so really, what Ken Paxton's doing is calling their bluff. And I think it shows that he's the kind of leader we need in the Senate.
Terrence Bates
So I'm looking at the dates here. May 26th is the runoff. That's, what, over a month away? A month and a half away. Time is short, particularly at two months. You know, I don't know where I am. I can't. I don't know where my head or my elbow is. David. I couldn't tell you what time it is, but I know it's a ways away, and it really shortens the time for whoever ultimately wins that primary to enter in and really run a strong campaign for the general. And it seems to me that's largely why President Trump is pushing for some sort of resolution sooner than later so that you really can run a solid race against Talarico. That's what this comes down to is beating Talarico.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah. And I think if you look at that, if you take President Trump right now is trying to figure out who can be James Talarico right now. I serve with Talarico. The guy, I mean, if you listen to his sermons, you just think, what in the world is wrong with this guy? He talks about how his whiteness is a disease and everything else, and they're worried that Paxton can't beat Talarico. I think Paxton can smash Talarico in the general election. I think John Cornyn is just another version of Talarico and just a wet blanket, in my opinion.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. You know, I haven't met one person outside of Screen stupid camp, meaning people inside my screen. In other words, people on television who say anything different than what you are saying, Representative, that it will be the motivation of MAGA to get out to support Ken Paxton that will make the difference. Karl Rove doesn't agree with us. Oh, boy, oh, boy. Karl Rove, who gets paid for consulting, whether or not he ever wins a race, along with a lot of other consultants, a lot of other rhinos out there. David Brody is not a rhino. There's a disclaimer, and I just want to say, so who is in the president's ear saying it has to be corny? And I don't understand this at all because I don't agree with that. If I'm MAGA and Cornyon's on the ballot, guess what I'm going to do? I'm probably going to sit home. I mean, I vote in every election. I would probably go vote, but would I be making calls to make sure that all five of my children who are voting age got out and voted no. Would I be running around to pick up friends, go to nursing homes, go to other places, and help to make sure the vote gets out that day? No, not for Corny. And I wouldn't.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah, that's a great point. Small world. I was sitting in a restaurant the other day and I watched Karl Rove walk by and somebody that was with me made a joke. He's like, oh, there he is. Going to Take up for John Cornyn again.
Dr. Gina
Yes. That's what he was doing there.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah. I hope what's happened is President Trump was toying or kind of mentioning putting his foot in the water, saying, hey, here's what I'm considering doing. I'm hoping tons of conservative people are calling him right now and saying, president Trump, please don't do this. Please send us a warrior there instead of a wet blanket. Yes.
David Brody
Yeah, yeah. And you know, here's the thing. I've been yesterday or a couple days on the show or two days ago on the show, I actually said that I think that Trump's going to endorse Cornyn with the strategic, pragmatic play. I still believe that from a political analysis standpoint. Having said that, this could be a colossal misjudgment. A colossal misjudgment. I mean, to Gina's point, to your point, Representative, the base is going to be rabid for Paxton. So you've got that. And then Talarico is going to be under the limelight and exposed like he's never been exposed before. I mean, he's called God non binary. He has said that the actual. Yeah, no, he's called God non binary. Look it up. Just. It's there.
Donna Fiducia
I saw it.
David Brody
He's called the border down in Texas, an open porch for everyone to come on in. I mean, once he gets exposed, you're gonna have not just the base for Paxton, but my guess is you'll have independents and mainstream Republicans say, I can't deal with this. I'm not gonna go with Talarico at all. And maybe they'll either vote for Paxton or just stay home, but it'll suppress Telorico's turnout. Your take.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah, absolutely agree. Talarico is the epitome of how far crazy the Democrat Party has moved away from. They used to be the blue collar, working class, just kind of maybe some different, different positions on things. And now you've got James Talarico. James Talarico serving with him on the floor. Like, he's a nice guy if you talk to him, but you listen to anything he says when he talks about race or gender or abortion or anything like that. And he is off the wall nuts. And when all that stuff starts coming out, people that have. And I watched this, that's all. A lot of Republicans sharing some of his stuff during the school choice debate. When this stuff starts coming out, they're going to be embarrassed they ever posted anything by him.
Terrence Bates
You said you've been with Ken Paxton. Any idea whether he's had conversations with President Trump that you might even want to share any details with us on. I'm hopeful. And what might those conversations have been? He has said, yeah, okay, I'm willing to drop out under these circumstances, but I'm sure he still thinks he is the, he is the one. And as many of us have said, we believe that he is the most America first in MAGA of either candidate.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
You know, I know that there's been conversations. I don't know what those details were, but I do know several of us have been calling Ken Paxton and his people are saying, please don't drop out.
Dr. Gina
We need you there, myself included. Okay. I texted him and told him, you can't, you can't. We do need him there. We need a warrior there, just like you said, not a wet blanket. That is a great, great analogy. Rep. Wes Verdell, thank you so much for being with us. Stay on it. My show.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Thank you all.
Terrence Bates
Thank you so much.

And that would be California Governor Gavin Newsom. California Governor Newsom drawing sharp criticism after making controversial comments about Israel just days after the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran. During a podcast interview while promoting his new memoir, Newsom referenced commentary describing Israel as an apartheid state. He even suggested the United States may need to rethink its military support for the Jewish state.

Terrence Bates
He's got folks the hard line that
David Brody

Terrence Bates
They couldn't even, I mean, we're talking

Let's go. All right. Welcome back to american sunrise. It's Friday, and you know what that means. It's puppy Friday, right? Kobe is a puppy Friday. We are putting the spotlight on real heroes, the team from rescue who work every day to help dogs find loving, forever homes. Joining us now, our good friend Tommy Habib. Are you excited to see Tommy? I know. Me, too. He is host of the rescue. Tommy, we love what you're doing. Tell us about this incredible adoption effort and how the rescue is changing lives one wagging tail at a time.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Oh, my gosh, What a wonderful intro. Thank you so much. And, Kobe, how are you, my buddy? It's so good to see you on this wonderful Friday. Hey, listen, we have our rescue dog of the week. We're so excited to introduce you guys to fiesta. So fiesta. She's looking for this wonderful home. She's playful, active, but she's looking for a little structure because she's young, but a ball of energy. She loves to snuggle. She's. She's also potty trained, you know, but she's got to get acclimated to your home when, when we get her there. So she's been with multiple fosters and it just takes a little while for her to settle in and she loves to just rest in her crate. And Dallas Pets Alive is offering Fiesta. Let's get her, let's get her adopted today. And we're going to pay for all adoption fees and whatever it takes to get Fiesta to your home, no matter where in the country you are.
Dr. Gina
I'm seeing maybe a little boxer in there, but her nose is a little pink, might be a little chow chow,
Thomas Corbett Dillon
but the blue eyes, yes, it's an interesting mix. But she's just beautiful and full of love and she's your, you know, if you want a little buddy to run around with, Fiesta is the one. So make sure you guys, if you like Fiesta, hit that QR code or go to, you know, to the rescue and you can see more about Fiesta and let's get her adopted.
Dr. Gina
I love her ears. I hope they stay floppy like that. Maybe some German shepherd in her as well. All right, Tommy, can you tell us about the pet insurance? Because that is one of the main reasons why people sometimes don't adopt. They're afraid of unexpected expenses.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Right, Tommy, I gotta tell you, they really are. And one of the things, you know, we are the only front facing, mission based pet insurance company in America. And I created this insurance just because of that, of the reason that so many people can't really, you know, they get, they get these bills sprung on them because if your dog eats something like a shoe, a sock or a toy, it's, it's two grand to get that surgery. And so, and it's a shocking thing on you. So but if you prepare and get pet insurance from, you can go to the QR code again or rescue petcare.com Rescue petcare.com We're mission based. So what we do is when you buy a policy, it helps us give a policy away to a veteran that has a puppy dog, a service animal that really can't afford those expensive vet bills. So we help first responders and families that can't afford to keep the pet in the home. That's what we do and that's our mission. So it's so important. We have companies and people all over the country now switching over to rescue petcare.com just because, you know, we support humanity and we help these veterans and first responders and people that, you know, we want to keep those pets in the home and don't have them bring them back to the shelters.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, absolutely. What a great thing you're doing out there, Tommy. So much great work. And I'll tell you, there's just nothing in the world like a dog. I don't know how I ever survived without one. But it's such a great thing to have a constant little companion. And we appreciate the work you're doing so much, Tommy. Thank you so much for being with us today.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
Yeah. And remember, just love your pet. When that little pup comes wagging his tail when you walk in the house, give them 15 seconds, because to them, you're all they have. And so their life is short. So give them that love they deserve.
Dr. Gina
I read that story. They said dogs are a big part of our lives. We are their lives. It's so true, Tommy. Thanks.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
So true. Thank you, Dr. Gina. Have a great Friday, everybody.
Dr. Gina
Thank you. You, too. See you soon. All right, guys, that's going to be a wrap for us today. Colby says it's time to go home and get some snacks and chicken. He likes chicken. You like chicken.
David Brody
Actually, that sounds good to me. I'm gonna go get some snacks and chicken as well,
Terrence Bates
Too. Funny. Yeah, I'm just gonna have snacks like it doesn't matter what's in it. I just want snacks. I didn't forget the Twinkie, but that's a whole nother unsafe and unhealthy thing. Anyway, have a great weekend.
Thomas Corbett Dillon
You, too.
Dr. Gina
You, too. You know it'll be a slow news weekend, right?
David Brody
Oh, yeah. There's nothing going on.
Dr. Gina
We'll see you guys on Monday. Hug your children, love your God, go boldly live the truth. Everybody, have a good one.
David Brody
Bye. Oh, Kobe's waving. That's such a cool trick,
Terrence Bates
Sam.
