Breaking news from Real America's Voice.
Terrence
We begin with breaking news as former Vice President Dick Cheney has passed away. He served as second in charge to President George W. Bush and is widely considered to have been the most powerful vice president in the modern era. Cheney is also credited with being one of the main architects of the war on terror following September 11. He died overnight at 84 years old. After serving as multiple levels of government, from chief of staff to President Ford to Secretary of defense to Congress, all the way up to vice president for George W. Bush, Cheney did it all. He suffered several heart attacks and had a heart transplant back in 2012. A statement from his family this morning says his beloved wife of 61 years, Lynn, and his daughters, Liz and Mary and other family members were with him as he passed. The 84 year old died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. Let's bring in Dr. Gina in West Palm Beach. David Brody in Washington, D.C. now to shift this, to break all of this down just a little bit more. Lady and gentleman, good morning. This is a, this is big news this morning. Let's just be honest about it. It is big news. David.
David Brody
Yeah, look, there'll be a time and a place to talk about Dick Cheney's legacy, good and bad. A lot of folks probably would start with the bad if you're MAGA today. Having said that, he's a historical figure, Gina. I mean, there's no doubt about it now, once again, back to good or bad, he's still a historical figure. And so, and there's a lot of reasons for that. From the war on terror, which a Lot of people obviously now say, what in the world were we doing? But at the time, it was much different. So I kind of see this as a two obit situation.
Terrence
Right.
David Brody
There's the post 2009 obit where, you know, he changed significantly from where he was pre 2009. And it's all because of President Trump. And President Trump torched the place, if you will. The Republican Party, and Dick Cheney changed because of it. But there's a lot more to unpack. Anyhow, look, bottom line is, you know, we obviously want to say a prayer to his family, make sure that things are going as best they can in these tough times.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Gina?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it's very interesting. You know, President Trump has really changed so much. I was having a discussion with a friend of mine about this just this morning that, you know, back in the day when he was vice president, he was a giant. He was the one who went. He was the pit bull for the president. He went on the Sunday shows and defended the indefensible. Right. He was the one who took all the hits and the bruises for that presidency and really redefined what a vice president was. And he was absolutely a giant. You're right. If this were 10 or 20 years ago, it would be a whole different sort of a eulogy, and we will get to that in the days to come. Maga's heart is very bruised by some of the actions, and we'll talk about that later. But this isn't the day for that.
Adam Weiss
We.
Dr. Gina
What is so interesting to me is how that role has changed. Now if JD Vance walks the room, this president, President Trump, has been so accessible to the average person. You know, I remember going into the Capitol back in the day and being told that the president and the vice president were only in the Capitol two days a year. And how lucky I was that both the president and the vice president were in the Capitol that day, because they only did it twice a year for security reasons. And this is back when assassinations weren't on the T pretty much every day for political reasons. Today we have a president who is so courageous that he and his vice president and his entire cabinet are out and about every single day meeting people. And it doesn't seem as though they are so untouchable as it used to seem back in the day of Bush and Cheney. And I think that's really just an interesting, almost sociological perspective that I hadn't really thought of until I started talking about it with a friend.
Terrence
And we'll of course, continue to cover this story for you throughout the day and over the next coming weeks. In the meantime, we want to also encourage you. Excuse me. To join the RAV Ambassadors Club. Yes, you can interact with our host. Here's a little preview, in fact, of what you can expect.

David, I don't remember the two of us interviewing you here, but I'm sure it was a scintillating interview there. You guys don't get it. You didn't see the thing. David and I in the head in the middle. Oh, you guys missed that.
Steve Bannon
Okay.
Terrence
All right. Anyway, my Tuesday morning humor. Dr. Gina, would you give us our Bible?
Dr. Gina
Well, I will be happy to do that, but I first want to say on the new ambassador community, first of all, welcome to all of you. Many of you have been unofficial ambassadors for a long, long time. But we are so happy to have you in this official capacity and we invite you if you're new to watching our show. Telling you what, guys, just this weekend I've got all these speaking engagements because I'm on a book tour right now for our children's book that I did with Jim Mosley Kim, Days of Creation. And while I'm out and about, I'm telling you all the people that tell me, I came to this event because I watch the morning show, I watch rav, I keep it on all day and night. I'm hearing that more and more often. And it is just such a great chance for us to enjoy that community on a different level. So I'm so thankful that RAV is doing this and we'll be telling you all more about this in the days to come. I was going to go to our Bible verse. I just simply don't have it in my prompter.
Terrence
Psalm 29. Dr. Gina, I'll take it for you if you don't mind.
Dr. Gina
Psalm 29.
Terrence
You have it?
Adam Weiss
Okay.
Terrence
There you go. You got it there.
Dr. Gina
Psalm 29:11. The Lord will give strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace. And we also, of course, want to send our prayers to, of course, the Cheney family, his friends, after the passing of the former vice president. And short and sweet, but very impactful, as most of the Bible verses that are short and sweet are some of the shortest ones. In fact, the most impactful. Right.
Terrence
All right.
Dr. Gina
Well, New York City voters, as you all know, are headed to the polls today to select the city's next mayor. More than 735,000 people voted early, which ended Sunday. Polls were closed yesterday, but people are back at the polls. Democrat Socialist Zoran Kami Mamdani has been leading the race for a while now. And President Trump had this to say about it.
David Brody
If Mandami becomes mayor, it's going to.
Steve Bannon
Be hard for me as the president.
Terrence
To give a lot of money to.
Steve Bannon
New York because if you have a.
Terrence
Communist running New York, all you're doing.
David Brody
Is wasting the money you're sending there. So I don't know that he's won.
Terrence
And I'm not a fan of Cuomo.
Adam Weiss
One way or the other.
Steve Bannon
But if it's going to be between.
David Brody
A bad Democrat and a Communist, I'm.
Terrence
Going to pick the bad Democrat all.
Steve Bannon
The time, to be honest with you.
Terrence
For more, let's bring in Raf chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn. Brian is actually in New York as I understand it this morning. So, Brian, what's the atmosphere like there in the Big Apple, the soon to be Big Rotten Apple? How is the voting looking there? Give us the, Give us the rundown.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Good morning, everybody. I am on the streets of New York. You've got people, you got traffic, you got construction. I feel like a New Yorker. Plus, you'll have David Zier coming up a little bit later in the hour. But as I went out for dinner last night, kind of doing a man on the street poll, asking people who they thought would win today, 100%. I got Mondame on that. And of course, even getting that late endorsement yesterday for Cuomo from President Trump and come on, saying, you know, that Mandani is not qualified to challenge Trump and thought that he was a better person that would be able to push back on Trump's policies. I thought it was very interesting that Trump actually endorsed Comeau, but we'll Find out if that is even anything that can move the needle in this election. But a lot is on the line, of course. Some say this would be good for a future governor race, that if Mondani was to win the mayor here, that actually would, I guess increase the odds of a Republican governor coming up, whoever that might be. But today is a big day. Already five times as many people have voted early voting for this election than the previous mayor race.
Steve Bannon
Brian.
Dr. Gina
I'm sorry, Brian. I'm totally interrupting. And you think that plays among Donnie's favor?
Brian Glenn
I think it does. I think it's David Zier, who is a New Yorker who knows far more about this race than I do. He says he thinks it's going to be just a landslide, Mondami, a landslide, basically, and that the Como endorsement or the Trump endorsement of Como will not move the needle at all. And I think it's very interesting that Como says, I don't want your endorsement. So. And maybe Trump is right. You know, a bad Democrat is better than a socialist and a communist. But the people of New York and these young people that have come out of five times as many people voting early voting than the previous race shows you a lot. This messaging of just giving stuff away for free rent freezes, free transit on the train and all the, you know, ways to get around New York, that's something that's very enticing to this younger generation.
David Brody
Yeah. City run grocery stores, free child care for anybody under five years old. Yeah, it just goes on and on. Brian, let's go to this just the news headline, switching topics of the government shutdown. It says the Trump administration is announcing partial funding for these SNAP benefits following the court order. So basically they're going to fund half of the SNAP benefits through the end of the month. We understand there are going to be obviously some states that pick up the rest of it. So it looks like SNAP benefits will continue for a little bit. That's going to basically, once that money runs out, then it's done until the shutdown ends. My understanding this morning we're hearing from Senator John Thune, the majority leader, that this shutdown actually could end and it wouldn't surprise me if it ends in a couple days here after the elections. We understand there's some, yeah, there's, there's some Democrats now talking with Republicans about what, what this is going to take. Sounds to me like what's basically going to happen here. And you correct me if I'm wrong, but basically the Democrats are going to be promised some sort of vote that they'll get once they agree to vote to reopen the government. And then at that point there'll be some sort of vote, but that's about it. Bottom line is Democrats are going to cave here because Republicans are not going to do anything until the government reopens.
Brian Glenn
I agree. That's what I'm hearing as well. When you think about the amount of people this affects, you got 42 million Americans with SNAP or better known as maybe food stamps or 14% of a population is on that type of government assistance. That's a lot of people. And of course we all been talking about the waste, fraud and abuse that's in that system. But there are some very disabled people, elderly people, a lot of poor, a lot of kids that need this money. And if they open, the amount that's in there now is only going to fund about half of it. So it does need to open. I do think after this election I think we'll have a vote perhaps as early as maybe Wednesday or Thursday to open up the government. And once this gets open, we get these people fully funded for these SNAP benefits, which is vitally important for a lot of Americans. And so I think at the end of the day, the Republicans come out the party that was able to basically initiate the funding to get the needs and the food stamps for the people who are truly in need. So I think it's a victory for Republicans. But it does bring up our larger conversation to not only with the health care, we need to start getting some of that off ramp on the Obamacare and that maybe starts a dialogue with that. But it's been a long shutdown. I think many Americans need it back open.
David Brody
By the way, go get a slice of pizza and the best pizza in America here.
Adam Weiss
I did.
David Brody
That's right. That's right.
Brian Glenn
I did it.
David Brody
That's right.
Brian Glenn
Where's the best pizza around here? Where is it?
Dr. Gina
St. Louis.
Brian Glenn
Everywhere. I'm going everywhere.
Terrence
St. Louis but new York.
Brian Glenn
Lombardi. Let's get David's ear. Hang on, hang on. Real quickly, the pizza. You got David's ear coming up a little bit later in the hour. But where's the best pizza around here? Lombardi's right down here.
Terrence
John's Obliqua Street.
Brian Glenn
Coal fired pizza.
Terrence
Best stuff in town.
Brian Glenn
I knew you guys would know keywords.
Dr. Gina
I knew we would know in town. All right, Brian Glenn, David Z, we're going to see both of you a little bit in our next hour. Thanks for being with us. Coming up, we're going to check out the Hottest headlines from the rap newsroom with T Base. And later, President Trump shoots down a reporter's question regarding strikes against Venezuela. Why would he answer that question and give away the plan? Well, in moments, we're going to take a look at the mainstream media meltdown once again as American Sunrise continues right after this.

David just mentioned it. It is election day across the country as polls up and down the east coast and in the Midwest are already open. Today is the first major election day since President Trump took office back in January. Among the contests being watched most closely are gubernatorial elections in Virginia and New Jersey. The GOP candidates in both states have aligned themselves with President Trump and they're hoping to ride the president. President's coattail to victory. New York's mayoral election also has the nation buzzing as self proclaimed Democratic socialist Zoran Mamdani is polling as the frontrunner. Even President Trump jumped into the fray saying if Mamdani wins, it's highly unlikely that he'll send federal funds to New York. He also says the Big Apple has, quote, zero chance of success or even survival under Mamdani's leadership. Former Vice President Dick Cheney has passed away. He served as second in charge to President George W. Bush and is widely considered to have been the most powerful vice president in the modern era. Cheney is also credited with being one of the main architects of the war on terror following the September 11 terror attacks. A statement from his family says his beloved wife of 61 years, Lynn, his daughters Liz and Mary and other family members were with him as he passed. The 84 year old died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. That's a quick check of your headlines. We'll, of course, have more headlines coming your way in just a little bit. But now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation's Tracy Anthony joining us. By the way, scan the code there at the bottom of your screen and join the Weather Nation family. That way you get a chance to have access to Tracy every day, all day and twice on Sunday. Tracy, good morning.
Emily Finn
Hey, good morning. Yeah, you know, I love doing these hometown forecasts. So make sure you're jumping into the conversation. Across the country, the big stories are.
Dr. Gina
Just a few trouble spots.
Emily Finn
The Northeast, we're going to have a storm system that will impact us throughout the day Wednesday, bringing strong winds and potentially some severe weather. And then out across the Northwest, it's this atmospheric river that's going to continue to funnel a parade of low pressure centers onshore. And by Wednesday night into Thursday, we could see some of the worst impacts. Now, on top of rain and flood potential, we have another supermoon.
Dr. Gina
Terrence, I know we talked about this.
Emily Finn
Last month, but it is that time. And that's going to bring some coastal concerns. So this supermoon is going to be the fullest and brightest on Wednesday evening just after sunset.
Steve Bannon
So if you want to check it.
Emily Finn
Out, send a photo, maybe see what you're seeing. But that's also impacting the coast with the King Tide. So, Terrence, like I said last month, the next four full moons are all supermoons. So this one, though, is the biggest and the brightest.
Terrence
Well, the good news for me is I don't have to stay up late because I caught it on the second day. I failed to go and stay up and watch it the first day. I did catch it on the second day. So I've had my fill of the supermoon. Tracy, good to see you. Appreciate you.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, me too.
Terrence
All right. And once again, folks, Tracy mentioned it. Your hometown forecast awaits. All you have to do is head over to the real America's Voice chats on get a rumble and YouTube. And then in our next hour, if you're selected, you'll get a personalized hometown forecast from Tracy Live here on the air. All right, folks, let's take a quick break. When we come back, though, Iran says there can't be any cooperation with the United States as long as it supporting Israel. Expert analysis on the impasse straight ahead. First, though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this day in 1922 that Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Egypt. The riches uncovered were priceless, and King Tut, as he's known, became one of the best known pharaohs after the discovery. Some of the artifacts from his tomb, such as the golden funerary mask, are among the best known artworks from ancient Egypt. More American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes.

You know, we got some upbeat music going on with New York. I kind of feel we need Some depressing music. We gotta to need depressing music in the, in the vault if you will, because Mom, Donnie's gonna get elected today. Well, you know what? Let's do the depressing music tomorrow. Oh, there it is. Oh, so. Thank you, Colin. So spooky. So horrible and sad. Mom, Donnie. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm ad libbing. I need to stop. Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. In the ongoing battles with both the lamestream media and drug cartels in South America, President Trump shot down a reporter's question on potential strikes against Venezuela. He did that recently. Take a look.
Emily Finn
You said that it's not true that.
Terrence
You'Ve made a decision on striking inland Venezuela.
Dr. Gina
Are there actual plans for those rights.
Emily Finn
In the near future?
Adam Weiss
Well, how can I answer a question like that? Are there plans for strike on Venezuela?
Steve Bannon
Who would say that?
Terrence
Supposing there were, Would I say that to you?
Adam Weiss
Very secret lands.
Terrence
Well, let's say that, you know, what.
Adam Weiss
Kind of a question is it?
Terrence
Look, we'll see what happens with Venezuela.
Adam Weiss
Venezuela sent us thousands and thousands, hundreds of thousands of people from prisons, from mental institutions, drug addicts.
Steve Bannon
And so did other countries.
Adam Weiss
That's the bad. I mean, other countries did it too.
Steve Bannon
Because we were run by very stupid people. Very, very stupid people.
Adam Weiss
Biden was the worst president in the.
Terrence
History of our country by far.
Adam Weiss
We had open borders and many countries, the Congo, many countries, they sent their prisoners. They sent prisoners, they sent drug dealers, they sent drug addicts, they sent anybody.
Terrence
Anybody that they didn't want, they sent.
Adam Weiss
Them through our country.
David Brody
Yeah, that's quite the question. Excuse me, what day are we going to war and is it between 8 and noon? 12 and 4? Do I need to wait for the delivery guy? Between four and eight? My goodness gracious. For more, let's bring in former naval intelligence officer and a former Bush administration official. That would be Don Bramer, chairman of the Bramer Group. Don, thanks for being here. So what do you think? I'm sure you can tell us the time and location of when we're going to war, Don, but other than that, if you don't have that information, what do you think? You think we're even going to do this with Maduro? And what that might that look like? Good morning to you?
Adam Weiss
Hey, good morning. You know, so first thing you have to look at Trump's first term. In his first term, yeah, he was known for kind of letting a few cats out of the bag. But he's learned a lot and he's gotten a lot more refined. He understands the process a lot better. And with the strikes that we've been doing and working with Secretary Hegseth, you never give away, you know, your, your training methods, your tactics and your future plans. Are there plans for attacks across the globe? We have thousands of scenarios already in the basket because that's what our leaders, our generals, our admirals, that's what they do. They plan for every contingency. But the media continues to ask these baited questions because they know the president can and likes to go off script sometimes. And they're always looking for that gotcha moment that will give their Twitters and their social media that highlight of the day.
Dr. Gina
Don, I want to talk to you about President Trump's relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump says he plans to be involved with Netanyahu's corruption trial. He says he's going to help him out. Trump urged Israeli President Isaac Herzog to pardon Bibi. Not a popular opinion among some in Gen Z in the US Some base of maga. What do you make of all of this?
Adam Weiss
Well, I think one thing that anyone should know about the president is he's extremely loyal. He's loyal to his friends. And I believe that he believes that Netanyahu is a solid friend of his. And, you know, the president's a friend of Israel. They've worked together over the past few years on trying to bring peace to the Middle east, especially with Gaza. They've had success lately. And I think he's going to stand by and give whatever voice of reason and whatever power that he may have in support of his dear friend.
Terrence
Don, want to take you to Iran. Reuters has this headline which says, Iran's supreme leader says cooperation with the United States not possible While it backs Israel at this point, it seems that Iran is the one Arabic and Muslim country that's kind of an outlier. So many others have joined the president in looking for peace in the Middle East. How big is this story that Iran doesn't seem to be willing to talk with the United States or at least to cooperate? And what will be the broader regional impact thereof?
Adam Weiss
Well, there's so much I could take away from your question.
Terrence
Yeah, it was a lot. I know I put a lot in that. I apologize.
Adam Weiss
But look at this. And with the success of the peace deal in Palestine and so many nations in the Middle East, Muslim and non Muslim, coming forward and celebrating the success, you know, Iran looks like that bad influencer that's doing whatever they can because their TikTok viewers are failing. And they just want that One last like or hit. I don't think they're in any place to cause demands. What they should be thinking about, look at what just happened in Palestine. And we have an opportunity to enrich the lives of our citizens just like those in Palestine are going to do, instead of trying to fill our own pockets and, you know, quit calling yourself the supreme leader. Dear God, it's not Star Wars.
Terrence
So if I can just follow up really quickly, then. Does the fact that there are so many countries within that region banding together for peace, does it put potentially more stress, more push on Iran to change its ways or potentially face regime change?
Steve Bannon
I.
Adam Weiss
Well, I think it puts a lot of stress on Iran. They don't have the influence. All their. Their puppets that they've been running for years are a little more, you know, cautious to act because they have the governments of their host countries, you know, on top of them. And, and I think that Iran's in a bad spot right now. And they're just. They're grasping the com. The Ayatollah, he loves headlines, he loves propaganda, and I think he's just grasping for straws right now. They need to rethink themselves or maybe their. Their citizens will.
David Brody
John, we're about. Or. John. Sorry, Don. We're about to head to break here. Got about 20 seconds or so. Obviously, Dick Cheney passing away at the age of 84. Curious to get your reaction to that. You worked in the George H.W. bush administration. Your reaction?
Adam Weiss
You know, it's a. It's a very sad day. You know, Vice President Cheney did a lot of years of service to this country, whether his time on the Hill, as vice president, as Secretary of defense, between he and his daughter. You know, you may not always agree politically, but what a great family. And my thoughts and prayers are with all the Chinese tonight and throughout the next few days.
David Brody
Yeah, our thoughts and prayers as well. It's a complicated legacy. We'll get into it in the coming days. Thank you so much, Don. Appreciate your time.
Adam Weiss
Have a great day.
Emily Finn
Thanks.
David Brody
All right, coming up, new studies show a further link between childhood vaccines and autism. So what's being done about it? Well, we're gonna have some answers next when we come back.
Terrence
Everybody.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us today. Time now for today's health news, sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope. Today. New study finds links between autism and vaccines. Wow. Don't you feel like you've been saying this for three decades and glad somebody finally caught on? Guess who did? The McCollo foundation put out a new study explaining all of this. According to their findings, some of the main causes for autism are older parents, genetics and vaccines. The study examined the 136 examples of childhood vaccines and their excipients and found 29 neutral risks for or no association. But 107 found a possible link between vaccine components and autism spectrum disorder. Now, this study concluded that timing of vaccinating children remains an urgent health risk priority. And also joining us now, the man behind this report, the one who did care, who did listen, after all of the decades of moms like me out there screaming about it, Dr. Peter McCullough, chief scientific officer of the Wellness Company. Dr. McCullough, welcome back to the show. Of course, the McCullough Foundation. This landmark study shows that vaccination is a leading risk and cause for autism. Many, though out there in social media land are still calling people like you and me science deniers.
David Brody
Dr. McCullough, you know, the last time this topic was formally reviewed was 2004 by the Institute of Medicine. And they concluded that this link between vaccination and autism is simply theoretical. Now, the McCullough foundation received a grant, did the independent analysis and 82% new information from the Institute of Medicine reports a lot more studies have weighed in and it looks like the connection is real. So in a susceptible child and the susceptibility factors are having children later at age, premature delivery, some common genetic variants, some prenatal exposures. This is important. Antipsychotics, antiepileptics, antidepressants, not Tylenol, by the way. Tylenol did not shake out the more serious drugs Taken over the full course of pregnancy could increase risk. And then, of course, the trigger appears to be combination vaccines, which cause essentially an encephalitis type of syndrome in some children. Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain. 20 vaccines actually have encephalitis in the warnings in the package insert, and then autism, adhd, tics and seizures. They basically represent a post encephalitic state that the children suffer from. From.
Dr. Gina
And how many millions of children had to suffer, still have to suffer, by the way, because nobody wanted to face this, given the decades, Dr. Mercola, of Rising autism rates. Why? Who is it? I want you to name names. Why is there so little interest in the medical establishment in determining the root causes of these issues?
David Brody
It's a stupendous observation that our CDC has a $9 billion budget, 12,000 employees, many MDs, PhDs, MPHs, and they couldn't generate a report like this. You know, HHS is supposed to, on a biannual basis, submit a vaccine safety report to Congress. This was part of the stipulation of the 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation Act. And to this day, HHS has not submitted a single safety report. So I think what should happen immediately is HHS should do their own analysis. They should replicate what the McCulloch foundation did. There's discussions. We should have Senate hearings on this and that. You know, the action steps should be, I think, rescind the 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation act legislation. Probably companies would take products off the market quickly. We should ban all forms of vaccine requirements and mandates for school employment and the military. I think we should suspend the ACIP schedule. Vaccine should be available, but just simply a medical decision, like any other drug or any other choice between a patient and the family and the doctor and the caregiver. And then lastly, I think we need to get the government out of the vaccine business. Get advertising off of tv. No, more direct to public advertising.
Dr. Gina
Like every other country in the world, right? Like every other country in the world. We are one of, I believe, only two countries that allow that to begin with. I have no idea why the United States. That was a good idea. But there's a lot of money behind this, too. Dr. McColl, I have less than a minute left with you, but I have two questions, so please, as quickly as you can. Number one, are you in conversations with Secretary Kennedy about exactly the measures you said HHS needs to take? And number two, just advise parents best you can, update them as fast as you can. Really? Literally. I have 30 seconds.
David Brody
Yeah, HHS has received the report. Hopefully they're taking it under consideration. And I think parents at this point in time really ought to make choices with their doctors. Healthy child born today 12 studies show remains healthier if they take no vaccines.
Dr. Gina
Whatsoever and change doctors. If your doctor looks at you like you are a frying pan when you say, I don't want 50 vaccines put into my child today, the day they were born. Dr. Mercola, thank you so much for this groundbreaking study. I cannot thank you enough. My heart is full knowing that you are doing things like this. Literally. It's just, it's the joy of my entire career to get to be affiliated in any way with people like you. Thank you so much.
David Brody
Thank you.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's time to stay awake, not woke. And who is woke today? Zoran Kami Mandame, the young Democratic Socialist assemblyman has sweeped to the Democratic nomination for NYC mayor with 56% of the vote, shocking the establishment. He's running on a platform of free city buses, rent freezes and massive tax hikes on the wealthy progressive agenda that many patriotic New Yorkers see as unraveling the city's core. While some in the left cheer his upstart success, many conservatives warn this is a move toward chaos. With crime, anti police rhetoric and radical measures lurking behind his campaign as the general election looms. Excuse me, Pulitzer caliber donors and big real estate interests are already pouring millions into blocking him in desperation. For patriots sometimes feeling silent in the coastal heavyweights, this NYC race is a prelude to the battle for the nation's soul. Bring in David Zier, the host of Breaking Point for us here at rav. David, know you're there in New York today. Give us a bit of a feel of what New Yorkers are saying about the election.
Terrence
I've been on the ground all week here talking to primarily Republican voters on whether they're going to cross the aisle to go and vote for Cuomo against Mamdani here. Early voting numbers are huge in New York City. Outshine stripping the last mayoral race by four and a half to one. But early voting, the neighborhoods that are leading early voting are Mamdanis, Astoria, Little.
Brian Glenn
Bangladesh, up in Washington Heights.
Terrence
Upper west side. The Upper east side, not a good.
Brian Glenn
Indicator for the election today. If you're a Cuomo or Sliwa supporter.
Terrence
Atlas intel has it.
Brian Glenn
Who's the most accurate survey in 2020.
Terrence
And 2024 presidential elections has Cuomo within striking distance, though. But there are key questions here. Did Cuomo do too little, too late and not campaign hard enough? And today is a referendum on what factions of the Democratic Party will be running New York City government for the next four years.
Brian Glenn
Ballot measures.
Terrence
Six ballot measures on the ballot today, one of them to move the mayoral.
Brian Glenn
Race to a presidential year.
Terrence
Last year, in the 2024 race in New York City, 60% showed up. In 2021, in the last mayor's race, only 23% showed up.
Brian Glenn
But this turnout today will probably approach.
Terrence
2 million, which is the highest turnout since Giuliani in 93 and Dinkins before that in 89. And the highest vote totals were John Lindsey in 69 with two and a half million voters.
Brian Glenn
But it will approach about 2 million voters here.
Terrence
And there's so many issues here.
Brian Glenn
High crime in New York City, 65,000 New Yorkers assaulted on the street this year. Felony and misdemeanor assaults, rapes up 19%. Who's going to fix it?
Terrence
And will Cuomo keep his word if.
Brian Glenn
He does get elected to the Republicans who possibly will cross over?
Emily Finn
Yeah. So many questions here today, David. It does look like Mamdani is going to pull this out. And if you look at the polls, voting for why, if you're a Republican, is just throwing away your vote. The numbers just don't even make sense at this point. But looking to the future, mom, dummy or Cuomo, that is going to be really, really tough for New Yorkers. The Republicans that I've been talking to in the city, they're saying that they just want to leap, that they're just going to get out. I mean, talk to us about the future of New York here, David. Does this mean that a lot of people are going to move to red states, move to red cities?
Brian Glenn
Well, when Cuomo was governor, during COVID we lost 800,000 New Yorkers from 2020 on.
Terrence
And now there's a new poll in the Daily Mail that's saying that 9% of New Yorkers may leave if Mamdani gets elected. I don't think it's going to be that high, but it will be a continuation of the drive and the exodus.
Brian Glenn
Out of New York State.
Terrence
New York State for the last like.
Brian Glenn
Eight years or so leads the United.
Terrence
States States in emigration out of the.
Brian Glenn
State with about a 1% loss, I.
Terrence
Think second only to maybe California here.
Brian Glenn
But listen, it's a hard pill to swallow for Republicans. Sliwa got the endorsement of Elise Stefanik.
Terrence
Who'S running for governor. He got the endorsement of former Governor George Pataki. He got the endorsement from Rudy Giuliani.
Brian Glenn
And Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis.
Terrence
And Cuomo made New York state a sanctuary state in 2017. He did bail reform.
Brian Glenn
5,000 people about were victims of crimes because people got out without bail here.
Terrence
He also said he's not going to.
Brian Glenn
Cooperate with ice and he could, you.
Terrence
Know, so it's a hard pill for people to swallow.
Brian Glenn
It probably will make sense for them.
Terrence
To go and vote for Cuomo. I don't know if enough of them will do that. We'll see by the end of the day. Today we're going to know, probably wake up with Mamdani as mayor. If Cuomo does it, it would be an upset for the ages.
Emily Finn
Well, we will be eagerly awaiting those results and looking forward to your coverage throughout the day. David Zier, thank you so much for your time.
Terrence
Thank you, Emily.

In the beginning, God created the heavens. All right.
Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. It is time now for our moment of faith brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. In focus today, faith under fire in Nigeria over the weekend, President Trump threatened to mobilize American troops against Islamist terrorists killing Christians there, blaming Nigeria's leaders for failing to protect them and labeled Nigeria a country of particular concern because of the religious violence. Of course, faith groups worldwide praised this move. They've been asking for it for a while now, saying it's about time America leads on religious freedom. Even halfway around the world, faith isn't silenced. It stands firm, even under fire. Joining us now, Dr. Robert Pacienza, CEO of Coral Ridge Ministries and the founder of the Institute for Faith and Culture. Doctor, what does Christian courage look like in a moment like this?
Adam Weiss
This is an opportunity for Christians in America and Christians all around the world to stand up and applaud the administration for making this designation. In fact, maybe people forget, but the designation was made by Trump in his first term and it was reversed by the Biden administration. And so we need to applaud this for a second time. This is exactly the designation that Nigeria deserves. They deserve to be put into the same category as Iran and Cuba and the People's Republic of China, other nations that for many years have been persecuting people of faith and in particular, Christians everywhere. I think it's also a wake up call for American Christians because we don't face persecution like this. Sometimes we forget that we have brothers and sisters all around the world that are facing persecution, that are they are fearing their lives for standing up and proclaiming Christ as king. And so this is an opportunity to pray, to applaud the administration and to pray that we would be bold in a moment like this and pray for our brothers and sisters that fear the sword simply for proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Gina
Such a great point because, you know, here in the United States, we feel persecuted a lot because we're canceled and all of those kinds of things. But it's not the kind of persecution that they're enduring there where they are literally being killed just for just for proclaiming Jesus Christ and Savior, for owning a Bible, those kinds of things. And they're not going to get any big publicized funerals or martyrdoms or their hero stories won't be told. So it's up to us to try to change that about that country. You probably. I don't know if you know about this. My husband actually sent me this as we were opening the show today. Nicki Minaj had a post on X that surprised a few of us, she said. Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude regarding President Trump's post about Nigeria. We live in a country, she said, where we can freely worship God. No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don't have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other. Numerous countries all around the world are being affected by this horror, and it's dangerous to pretend we don't notice. Thank you to the president and his team for taking this seriously. God bless every persecuted Christian. Let's remember to lift them up in prayer and to put pressure using the United States leverage. Right, doctor. To change the way things are around the world.
Adam Weiss
Well, that's really the design of the state, designed by God. The design of the state, according to God and his word, is to preserve and protect its people and to use the power of the sword to exercise justice and promote the common good. And when the good of all people is being threatened, when people are literally being martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ, it is the right exercise of the government and of the state to exercise justice and to promote the common good. The role of the government throughout redemptive history is to advance good and to diminish evil.
David Brody
And so I think this would be.
Adam Weiss
A right use of government and of the state and the power that the United States has to ensure that religious freedom is observed and promoted everywhere.
Dr. Gina
Very quickly, I literally have 20 seconds. I want to ask you your thoughts on the freedom Ambassador nominee that has yet to be put through in the Senate.
Adam Weiss
I think it needs to happen. We need to remember that this, this country was founded with a foundational freedom, the religious freedom of all people. And so in order to make America great again, we need to remember what made this country great in the first place. It was religious freedom for all people that led to a flourishing nation for the last 250 years.
Dr. Gina
Well, Thune is holding it up. We'll see what happens maybe this week. Dr. Pacienza, thank you so much.
Adam Weiss
Thank you.
Dr. Gina

Breaking news from Real America's Voice.
Terrence
We begin the second hour of American Sunrise with breaking news involving former Vice President Dick Cheney, who has passed away. Cheney was one of the main architects of the war on terror after September 11, the terror attacks of that day. He served at multiple levels of government, from chief of staff to President Ford to Secretary of defense to Congress, all the way up to Vice President for President George W. Bush. Cheney suffered several heart attacks and had a heart transplant back in 2012. A statement from his family says his beloved wife of 61 years, Lynn, his daughters Liz and Mary, and other family members were with him as he passed. The 84 year old died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. Let's bring in Dr. Gina in West Palm Beach, David Brody in Washington, D.C. Dr. Gina, your immediate reaction? Obviously, we were discussing this early this morning after the news broke. Now that you've had a couple of hours to take it all in, your thoughts.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Well, you know, of course, our sympathies to his family, but I don't think that most of us who saw the last 10 years would react to this news the same way we might have 10 years before. Certainly, we've become a lot more educated on the military industrial complex in this country and other things which we will discuss in the coming days. This isn't the day for that, in my opinion. You know, it's grandma's rules today. If you don't have something nice to say, just don't say anything. But I don't think you can deny that he did redefine the office of the vice presidency. He was a pit bull for W. And it was back in a day. We may not want to remember it, but I was one of them saying, get those terrorists.
David Brody
That's right.
Dr. Gina
And we look back and we're smarter. Thank God. Now we know more. We're more critical, I think, David Brody, critical thinkers of our body politic than we were back then. Thank you, Donald Trump, and thank you, Tea Party, and thank you, Andrew Breitbart and others. But that was a different day.
David Brody
Yeah, it's a complicated obit.
Dr. Gina
It is.
David Brody
That's the truth. I mean, there's PT and at pre Trump and after Trump, two different obits. And if you put me back to circa 2004, I'm rah, rah, rah, go, Cheney, go. And the whole waterboarding stuff and the enhanced interrogation techniques and all that. Come on, let's be honest, MAGA boomers, we were all for that. We were all for that. And how times have changed.
Brian Glenn
Right?
David Brody
And we'll talk about the legacy going forward. And when I say tbate's a complicated legacy, let me just say one last thing. Remember, he was vilified by liberals back in the day and he came around in 2024 and voted for Kamala Harris. So that's called a complicated. That's called a complicated obit. That's a complicated obit.
Terrence
No, absolutely.
Dr. Gina
To be sure.
Terrence

All right, the big story of the day, voters heading to the polls right now in New York City, where former Governor Andrew Cuomo has been trailing Democratic Socialist Zoran Mamdani. Mamdani is the clear frontrunner to become the city's next mayor, though President Trump jumping into the fray, saying if Mamdani wins, it's highly unlikely that he'll send federal funds to New York. He also says the Big Apple has, quote, zero chance of success or even survival under Mamdani's leadership. Joining me now from New York is RAV's chief White House correspondent, Brian Glenn. Brian, good morning to you. The White House obviously watching what's happening in the president's hometown very closely.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, I was in Oval Office a couple of weeks ago when President Trump made that comment that maybe voting for a bad Democrat is better than having a socialist or communist mayor in office. And perhaps that might be true, but I don't know if that endorsement is going to be enough to push Como across the finish line as early voting indicates. And they've had five times as many people come out already for early voting, majority of them. So we'll see if that Como push from President Trump will be enough. And of course, a lot is on the ballot. There's also some, some props on the other flip side of the ballot, which basically would push this mayor race to coincide with a presidential race and perhaps that gets more of a voter turnout. But already over 700,000 people have already voted in this election. And I think that will continue to break records as today beautiful weather here. New York City. No, no excuses not to get out and vote. Of course, we'll have all the latest polls as we have special election coverage tonight from the warehouse. And we'll have myself, Marjorie Taylor Greene, David Zier and others joining for that coverage.
Terrence
Brian, I'm chuckling because you said there's beautiful weather, but I'm envisioning a dark cloud that slowly but surely getting ready to come over the city there as Zoran Mamdani very likely will be the will win the mayoral race there. You talked a little bit about the fact that President Trump kind of gave this endorsement of Andrew Cuomo. But it's really a half hearted endorsement, particularly at the very late hour after record numbers of early voting kind of coming in on Monday. It seems like it was just a very late endorsement, if that's even what you can call it.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, I think for the most part, I think that's what he'd rather have, an office. Obviously, him and Como do have a relationship. And I think what was really interesting to point out is Como was very critical of Mondani, saying that he did not have what it took to stand up against the Trump policies and that Andrew Cuomo thought that he did. So the fact that Trump endorsed Como, and I think we can all agree that we'd rather have a Democrat in the office rather than a socialist, a communist running this, running this city. But if you look at the bigger scale, some people tell me, Terrence, that if we have a socialist, a communist mayor here in New York, that increases the chances of getting a Republican governor down the road. Could be least the phonic could be some others. Of course, Lee Zeldin, in my opinion, had a great shot in 2022 coming off of the Biden, the COVID lockdowns. There was every reason in the world to elect him. I don't know why he did not get elected. That's more of a question for David Zier. He would know. But I think if we do have a conversation, communist mayor in this city, you're going to see the reaction from that go statewide and you might be able to have a Republican governor come the next election.
Terrence
Hey, Brian, since you're there in the Tri State area, New York, New Jersey specifically, let's talk about the New Jersey gubernatorial race. I would imagine the White House also watching that very closely as there's a good opportunity that a Republican could be leading the state of New Jersey.
Brian Glenn
It could. And last night, President Trump in the Oval Office had a telly rally for both New Jersey and Virginia to kind of push voters across the line. And what's interesting to point out is some say that this election today is a mandate on President Trump. This is a mandate against his policies. And I beg to differ the exact opposite, as Kamala Harris won New Jersey, Kamala Harris won Virginia. And of course, we have Democrat mayor now. So I don't think if anything turns out, it could be a major upset on those races if Republicans would to win New Jersey, which is a very good chance, and also in Virginia as well. So it's going to be interesting to see the media say this is a mandate against Trump's policies. It's not. They already have Democrats in the positions already. It's just time to maybe flip those tables.
Terrence
May even turn around to be a referendum for President Trump after a Democrat or a Republican, excuse me, wins potentially Virginia as well as New Jersey. Brian, always good to talk to you. My friend, don't eat too much pizza. Go to Chicago. It's the better pizza. Anyway, good to talk to you, my friend.
Brian Glenn
Gotcha. Will do.
Terrence
All right. All right, folks, let's get a quick check of our forecast now. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by in our West Palm studios with more on what you can expect. So, Tracy, this is the time of the day. It's one of my favorite times because you give folks a home to town forecast. What do you have for us today?
Emily Finn
We've got a couple hot spots and.
Dr. Gina
Then I've got to look at the weekend as well. So let's dive right into some of those hometown forecasts. Most of us across the Central Plains relatively calm and quiet areas like Boulder.
Emily Finn
Colorado, this town sent in from Joe Schmo, I remember this name from yesterday, 76 degrees will be your daytime high. A mix of sun and clouds. Really a nice week here. But look, We've got some 20s in the forecast for over the weekend.
Dr. Gina
So it's going to be a little chilly. Warwick, Rhode island, this is from Diane on Getter.
Emily Finn
55 degrees today, pretty calm. We're going to have some strong gusty winds, though. So wind advisories in place could have winds up to 50 miles per hour this afternoon. A quiet end to the week. And then we're bracing for a weekend.
Dr. Gina
System as well that's going to impact.
Emily Finn
A good majority of the country, even down to Oakdale, Tennessee.
Steve Bannon
So enjoy the mix of sun and.
Emily Finn
Clouds for the next few days. A few showers on Friday.
Dr. Gina
But look at this Sunday night into.
Emily Finn
Monday, Terrence, we're bracing for the coldest.
Dr. Gina
Air of the season.
Emily Finn
So we're going to get a little.
Dr. Gina
Taste of winter here coming up.
Terrence
Okay. So my personalized forecast isn't going to stay snow in Denver. Please say no. Please say no.
Emily Finn
I don't think so as of yet. You got about a week.
Terrence
All right. I'll take that, by the way. Okay. All right. Let me tune up the Snowblower. Tracy, always good to talk to you. Appreciate it.
Dr. Gina
Yep.

Coming up, we'll have much more about today's elections, of course, all the analysis that you can stand. Plus, it's another round of late night wars as President Trump takes aim at talk show liberal and snl alum Seth Meyers calling the not so funny comedian a deranged lunatic. The details coming up here on American Sunrise.

Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again, because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm American Sunrise contributor Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out late night host Seth Meyers. President Donald Trump is taking aim at the late night host, calling him a deranged lunatic and even suggesting his constant Trump bashing is probably illegal. On Truth Social, Trump slammed the NBC comedian after watching a segment mocking his criticism of electric aircraft catapults, a system that Trump has long called a disaster compared to the old steam powered design. For more, let's welcome the host of Media Exposed on rav, Adam Weiss. Adam, good morning. Always great to see you. I mean, is Seth Meyers even funny anymore? All of these guys in late night comedy have just been falling, you know, to the wayside. I suppose that's true.
Adam Weiss
Let them die on their own. I don't think the president of the United States, Trump, in fact, should be criticizing going after a late night talk show. Go after the whole industry in general, not just criticizing one specific comedian. You know, do it with kindness, do it with elegance, do it with grace, and they'll die on their own. When you, you know, it's Reagan used to, you know, criticize people with a smile, with a laugh. That's why he won the landslide twice. If Trump just did that a little more, he probably would have won 48, 49 states. But people can't get over any attacks. It irritates them too much. You're too, it's like a principal of a school and he goes over the microphone and he goes after one obnoxious kid who's making jokes. It's above the, it's above a level of principal. It's above the level of the president to do it.
Emily Finn
I believe that's really refreshing to hear you say, Adam. You know, President Reagan was the type of candidate that would never make fun of his opponents youth and inexperience. But President Trump has taken a very different approach to politics.
Adam Weiss
But look, I believe nobody's been attacked to give credit Trump credit. Nobody in the history of our country, I feel, has been attacked as much as Trump and his family. So, you know, we don't know. I don't live in his shoes. So he's been a fighter and he's created millions of fighters like himself. So that's another point, too.
Emily Finn
Yeah, absolutely. The Republicans in general have had to fight very, very hard even just to have their voices heard. We know that very well here at Real America's Voice. Adam, I do want to switch gears here. We want to get your reaction to a new whistleblower report on the bias at BBC News. The report found that the BBC doctored video of President Trump's speech ahead of the January 6th demonstrations in a documentary that aired last October. Adam, what is your reaction to all of this?
Adam Weiss
I mean, it's not shocking to me. It's shocking to our viewers. It's shocking to you. I mean, every outlet docked it. I can't keep up with the lawsuits. Trump is winning. Conservatives are winning because adopted editing video that, you know, outlets from the BBC to CBS to ABC have constantly edited to make our side look bad, to make the president look bad. I mean, it's no wonder the BBC is in, you know, was in a bad look right now this morning.
Emily Finn
And this is a perfect example of what we were just talking about, how Republicans have to fight back because it's all these doctored videos, all of these lies. Adam, before we let you go, we only have a couple minutes left here, but I do want to get your take on the election in New York today, the mayoral race. I mean, it is going to be pretty tough for New York moving forward. I was talking with David Zier earlier in the show. Looks like Mamdani is going to pull this off. What are your thoughts on this, this election, Emily?
Adam Weiss
If you told me two days ago, I'd say 100% Mandani. But you know, the numbers are tremendous, astonishing. Massive numbers out there. Seven times greater than 2020 when the turnout already, I don't know a person Business leader, demonstration, you know, moderate, damn, regular, damn Republican that's voting for Mandani or even voting for Sliwa, they're all going for Cuomo. So this turnout might help Cuomo. It's very close in the polls right now. He might pull this off. But what Cuomo did wrong, really wrong, he hasn't reached out to the right. He hasn't reached out to conservatives. He hasn't denounced no cash bail. He hasn't reached out to ICE officials or illegal immigrants. So the people that are true conservatives, they're going to go with Saliba, and that might cost them. On the other hand, Mandani hasn't reached out to people either. He's let the criticism flow through him.
Terrence
Flow through him.
Adam Weiss
Flow through him. And that's a bad thing, because if you really aren't so the devil that they're characterizing you as, reach out to people and say, this is not who I am. But he hasn't done that either. So you have a really fractured electorate here. And tonight it's probably around Donnie. But I wouldn't be shocked if Cuomo pulls us out.
Emily Finn
Yeah, it'll be interesting. There's certainly a huge turnout today, and this election is going to be so consequential for New Yorkers. So I'm not surprised to. To see that at all. I just saw Cuomo on Fox News a couple minutes ago. It's a little bit too late to be trying to appeal to Republicans at this point.
Adam Weiss
The morning of you're trying to reach out to conservatives and sleep with others, you should have done that. I texted him. I texted the governor many times. He never texted me back. And he used to text me back last year before he renounced and we had a good caucus about how bad the left treated him, how bad the Democratic Party treated him. But when I reached out numerous times, not a whisper back, you know, well.
Emily Finn
I guess we'll know after today is over if he should have texted you. Adam Weiss, thank you so much for waking up and being on the show with us this morning.
Adam Weiss
Not that I'm that important, but I do have one vote.
Emily Finn
All right, coming up, a question. Do you know what happens when a company overpays for a competitor in a big merger deal? Investors kick that company in the face. That's what's happening on Wall street right now. And we're headed down there for the opening bell and more when America, American Sunrise comes back in just two minutes.

Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. Kind of a solemn groove. In fact, let me let my voice go a little deeper and talk to you as we look over New York City, which is probably about to change very significantly. Zoran Mandani very likely will be the next mayor of the greatest city on earth. And yes, there are a lot of sad people in New York itself and even abroad. We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, though that is going to ring here in short order. And as you can see, we can see from our board, not a good start to this day of trading, at least in pre market trading, red from top to bottom. Hopefully all of that will change though the moment the market's officially open. We'll take it to New York in the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange here in short order. But first, let's get you over to David Brody. David, good morning.
David Brody
Good morning, T. Bates.
Adam Weiss
All right.
David Brody
Time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense. We've got American Sunrise Early Edition host and the guy behind Jake's Take substack, that would be Jake Novak joining us in his regular slot here at what time? 9:24am Eastern Time. All right, Jake, Wall street really thinks they found a new sucker for this week. It's all connected to a big consumer products merger. So tell us more. Good morning.
Jake Novak
Yeah, morning yesterday, Kimberly Clark, they make Huggies and Kleenex. They get you on different ends of your life span there. They bought Ken View. You never heard of Ken View that? Don't be bad, don't feel bad about that. That's the company that Johnson and Johnson created a couple of years ago to spin off, put Tylenol in there, some of their other products like Band Aid and Wall street thinks that Kimberly Clark overpaid for this sucker. Probably like they paid about $50 billion. They think they paid maybe $10 billion too much. And they are kicking Kimberly Clark in the face. Its shares were down 14% on this. Now, usually, David, when a company buys another company, the acquirer, the buyer, yeah, they do see their shares go down, usually like 1% or something, but 14%. They are really upset about this. And I think it has a lot to do with what you're seeing right there, Tylenol. And Tylenol is really, really controversial right now with all these studies coming out about what effects it might have. By the way, study or no study, it's the number one abused drug in America. Morons take like 15 Tylenols a day when they're in pain, and they end up the emergency room. So investors don't like this. And they're not. They're not being shy about it, but they sure think Ken View got away with murder. Their shares went up like 18% on the news. You know, they're getting out while the getting's good. And so that's what happened on Wall street, and that's what's continuing today, this trend.
David Brody
You said moron. I thought you said Zoran Mamdani. Same thing. All right. Well, all right, Jake, we haven't talked about Lisa Cook in a while. I know people around the dinner table in America going, hey, what's the latest on Lisa Cook? However, the Fed governor accused of mortgage fraud there is speaking out now. So what does she have to say? Because clearly America is weighted with waiting. With bated breath.
Jake Novak
Yeah, well, full disclosure, as you know, I don't think we even need Fed governors. Your job isn't even necessary. By the way, David, you live down in D.C. that's a word you should be a term you should be using regularly, like, hi, nice to meet you. I don't think your job is necessary. But anyway, Lisa Cook. Lisa Cook, she's speaking out. This is what Fed governors do. There's really no need for them. One person can decide the interest rate decision in a computer. We don't need five or six of these people.
Terrence
People.
Jake Novak
But she's going around giving speeches. That's what Fed governors do. They get paid to do it. People like the markets, for some reason, move on it. And surprise, surprise, she's speaking out and talking about how she's not so sure the Fed should cut interest rates in December, which is exactly the opposite of what most Americans want and President Trump wants. So, of course, she's become completely politicized herself if she wasn't already. Instead of making this about Lisa Cook and her alleged mortgage fraud, let's just make it about all these positions. We don't need Fed governors. Do we need more people giving speeches written for them by. I just don't think so. And let's just get rid of them in the first place. They don't really help. They're not necessary. And I'm sure she could do something very, very positive somewhere else.
David Brody
Here's a kind of a wild 30,000 foot view question about Fed governors. You say we don't need them. You think they'll ever be a push to actually remake the Fed or basically eliminate the Fed? I know a lot of people want to do that, but I mean, how would that even, like, take shape? Exactly. I mean, what would have to happen?
Jake Novak
You just set up the compromise very well. You know, you get people who are going to go crazy if you end the Fed completely and say, okay, then let's just talk about paring it down. That was redundant. Let's just talk about pairing the Fed. We don't need to have four or five, six Fed governors. It's not necessary. Let's streamline what the Fed is and what it's all about. Wall street won't care. Wall street just wants the Fed to do what it wants, what it wants. They don't need to have a large infrastructure there to do it. They just want rates taken care of it. And they also want the Fed to be paying attention when there might be a meltdown in the markets. And actually in some cases, fewer people at the Fed will make that easier to have. So Wall Street's not going to push back on it. Maybe some people at the Wall Street Journal and the CNBC will be upset because they won't have as many speeches to cover, which no one cares about anyway. People don't read the speeches or listen to them. So I think that there's your compromise. Let's just cut it down and see how that works. No one will be upset about that. Not really. No real people, for sure.
David Brody
Hey, I got about 30 seconds here, but you, the Democrats and their mainstream media allies have decided to really talk down the economy. And now there's a big problem with that, isn't there, Jake? Tell us more. Got 27 seconds.
Jake Novak
Yes. Yeah, I'll be real quick. You know, I'm really big on preemptive pushback on Democrat messaging. They are really talking down the economy. The problem with that is if the economy isn't bad, then you telling people that it is isn't going to work. If the economy is bad, you don't need anyone to tell you that it's bad. It's one of those really fraught things the Democrats are doing. And it's coming out. You're seeing it in all the mainstream media outlets and their lemmings on social media talking about how bad the economy is. It's a clear message that they're trying to push. It's not true. It's a mixed economy at worst. And if the economy is bad, I don't need someone to tell me I'm hungry or I'm having a hard time. I don't need you to tell me. Nancy.
Adam Weiss
Crazy.
David Brody
Jake Novak, great to have you. Thanks so much. Appreciate it. Time to go back to Denver. Maybe he's using his. Terence Bates is using his NPR voice that he used at the beginning of the segment. We'll find out in a second. It's sponsored by amac.

Well, David, thank you so much. You're looking at the applause happening at Wall Street. Here's the New York Stock Exchange. Beta is at the podium. The applause is underway. And momentarily you will hear the opening bell. There you hear it, ladies and gentlemen, the man in the front trying to gavel the actual podium itself. The markets are now officially open. And just like that, ladies and gentlemen, we have one bright spot there in the middle of our board. But the markets are all in the red. As you can see, the dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ. I just couldn't keep that up. Sorry. All in the red right now, down over a full percentage point. Hopefully that will change throughout the day. Really, the only bright spot there, right in the middle of your board. We, of course, will continue to monitor all of this for you throughout the day and let you know how things ultimately shape up as we start this Tuesday of trading. Steve Bannon
I love that. Who was that guy?
Dr. Gina
Right. I know what a rock star.
Brian Glenn
Is.
Steve Bannon
This company evolves. And I've been here for a bit. I came in 2019, February. I think we were not the same company then. We are today. So I tip my hat to Rob Sig, to Parker Sig, to the people that make this possible. They started with an idea, like many Americans do, and they pushed forward through a lot of obstacles, a lot of big hills they had to climb. And here we are. Look, this network continues to grow and to thrive because we try to do one thing, tell the truth. It's another way for us to interact with those people that are America's Voice. The people across the great 50 states and the territories of this nation and around the world that are involved in making America great. It's a chance for us to take the next step forward. Look, we did the deal with iHeartRadio so we can get out there. We did the deal. RAV Ambassadors. Every step forward is a step forward for the people that are participating. Because, look, we do this all. Not for me, not for you guys, but the folks watching right now and listening right now, that's who we do this for, to make sure that they are engaged and have a different perspective. Look, if you only had MSNBC or Chicken Noodle News, what a sad world that would be, right? And so this is all part of the mission. And the mission is America with faith, family and country. I mean, I think that's what rav's mission is, in that order. And I'm proud to be part of it. And so I'm glad to be part of this next step. I'll be honest. It's a. It's another Great testament to where this company is going. And I'm, like I said, I'm proud to be part of RAV have been since 2019 and hope to be for years to come. Yeah.
David Brody
I mean, because we're a family and it's bottom up. Right. I mean, you know, we're like literally at cnn, you know, hello, we're the anchors. We're going to tell you what to think today. And like, we're not those people. We're like, hello, you know, let's just get in the chat and let's have a conversation. We're all in this together. I mean, you don't see the CNN Ambassador program, by the way. Where's that? I haven't seen that anywhere to be found. Hey, all right, Steve, we gotta move on. It's off your election day across America, whatever. It's Virginia, New Jersey, California pretty much in terms of Prop 50. And of course, as Gina says, Kami Mamdani, which I love. You really got to go to the trademark office on that. Gina, really? Seriously, you got to do that. What do you think, Steve? What are some of your thoughts today? It looks Mamdani is going to win. Come on. I mean, this idea that the.
Steve Bannon
They're all going to win.
David Brody
Let me just leave any of that.
Steve Bannon
Let me just hit you with a cold fish. I'm just going to hit you with the cold fish. They're going to pull it out in New Jersey, they're going to pull it out in Virginia. They're going to pass Prop 50. All those things are going to happen. It's a setback. But look, that was the point of the government shutdown. The point of the government shutdown was to create anger in this country, to blame Republicans for the failures of the Democrat policy known as the Obamacare aca. It was always designed to fail. That's what they're pushing. The fact that Democrats voted not to pay the tsa, not to pay air traffic controllers, not to pay the military, not to fund SNAP benefits, and then blame the Republicans. Look, this is simple math for anybody scoring at home. There are 53 Republicans in the United States Senate. They need 60 votes to get through. Now they can pull the nuclear option. Donald Trump pushing for that. Republicans say we don't want to do that. But I think that he's right about this. Democrats are going to get rid of the filibuster first chance they get so they can ram any idea they want down the throats of Americans that don't want anything to do with it. And the redistricting in California, another example of gerrymandering. For those of you keeping track of this, I want you to understand, here's a number for you. 155 million Americans today have zero Republican representation in the United States House. 155 million. Conversely, there are 55 million Americans that have no Democrat representation in the House of Representatives. The point is, Democrats have gerrymandered this country three to one. And now they're complaining about Republicans in Texas. But here's what's going to happen. Republicans are going to win some new seats in North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, Texas. And that Supreme Court decision that's coming down about whether you can use race as a foundational principle to create districts for Congress will be thrown out six to three. It will be. That'll mean 12 Republican seats in places like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana. The map is going to shift, but not the way that Gavin Newsom is hoping for with his scheme to re, you know, recalibrate California. That's what's going to happen. Today's not going to be a great day as you're gonna see these fringe candidates. It's gonna be a terrible day for New York City. He wants to raise taxes on the wealthiest. He wants to raise taxes on business. Does. Would you call him Mamdani the Commie? Okay, I, I kind of like Zoron the. But hey, whatever works. But you're gonna see things play out. Yeah. Minneapolis and you haven't even talked about Seattle. They got some, you know, a person has no experience at all running in Seattle, is a hard left candidate, probably going to win there too. I don't know what happens with Fatah in Minneapolis because it's a 13 or 14 person race, big field, it's ranked choice voting. So who knows? That could be weeks before we know what happens there. But I would expect that he would come out on top. And so these are gonna be terrible hard left turns for several major cities in America.
David Brody
I think Cittarelli can win in New Jersey. He can.
Steve Bannon
I think he can. But it's really going to take a huge surge. Look, the numbers are the numbers. And you know, do I believe in polling? Not generally, but here's the other part that is true. Whether you like it or not, Donald Trump's numbers right now are not strong in a lot of places. He's a little weaker than he was six weeks ago. Six, eight weeks ago, he was up five points. And Rasmussen is really the one that I watched the most because they were the ones that got it right in November. You Know when CNN comes out and says, you know, he's only got 37% approval rate, that's nonsense. The same people that told you that Kamala Harris was going to be president.
Adam Weiss
President.
Steve Bannon
All right, so don't try. There's certain polls you don't even look at or trust, but the Democrats will parrot them. But in the Rasmussen poll today, I think Trump's minus eight. He's in a bit of a weak position on polling. That's a fact. It's not a great day.
Dr. Gina
Because of the shutdown, Steve.
Steve Bannon
In part, sure. I mean, when you get pummeled, Donald Trump shut down the government. You know, when you see post after poster post, you know they have the House, the Senate, the White House, it's up to Republicans. No, it's not. 53 Republicans do not get it passed. We need five more Democrats. Fetterman and Angus King have been voting with the Republicans to reopen government. You need five more. I think the two in Georgia are two of the folks that will probably come across because they know they're facing some uphill battles going forward in the state of Georgia. You need to get some Democrats and after today, Ted Cruz predicting the government reopen maybe tomorrow, the next day, sometime the next few days. I think that's probably true. I think it was all a game about these off year elections to stir up anger and fear by saying, well, people aren't going to eat, which is they've accomplished that. They've cut off SNAP benefits. But I think another thing we need to concern ourselves with, 12 to 15% of Americans are on food stamps. Really, that's a frightening number. We need to do something about, we need people in good jobs. We need people that can support their families. We need policies that don't, you know, stifle economic development. And yet here we are.
Terrence
Steve, you kind of, you scooped me there because I was going to follow up with you on the whole idea that this shutdown was truly all about impacting today's elections. But you kind of went on in on that and saying that you think the government is going to ultimately reopen this week. Let's hope you're right there. Really quickly, before I let you go, wanna turn your attention to a new poll that's out by political and public first. It basically says a majority of Americans, we're talking 50, 65%, according to this poll, expect political violence to increase, with many believing that it's likely that political candidates will be assassinated in the next few years. The polling itself is frightening. This, of course, follows the assassination of Charlie Kirk and of course, the attempt on President Trump's life in 2024. Your reaction to all of this really quickly, Steve?
Steve Bannon
Well, look, I don't have to look very far right now to Dearborn, Michigan, where two terrorists were arrested for plotting to kill people in nearby Ferndale, that suburban Detroit. They plan to do the killing on Halloween. They hope to get hundreds of victims in the LGBTQ communities of Ferndale, Michigan, and out in, in suburban Detroit. Look, there are dangerous people in this country, and a lot of it is because we let 20 million people into this country illegally. How many millions of got aways? We don't even know who these people are, what their intentions are. Remember the videotape of the guy saying at the Texas border, they said, who are you? You don't know who I am. You'll know soon enough who I am. And he was a known terrorist who just then walked on out. Nobody knows where he is. Nobody knows where a lot of these people are. Thank God for the FBI and stopping this potential attack in Michigan. But none of us, sadly, would be surprised to wake up tomorrow to hear about a terrorist attack based on ISIS or antifa or anything else. We're in a dangerous place. And yes, I think that political candidates and political figures are going to be the focus of some of these attacks. It's sad, but that's where we find ourselves today.
Dr. Gina
Steve Gruber, thank you so much for joining us. We'll talk to you on the other side of all of this.
David Brody
Thanks, Steve.
Steve Bannon
Thanks, guys.
Dr. Gina

Let's SPILL SOME Tea.
Terrence
Let's Spill Some Tea is fueled by Artillery Tea Company. It's the only America first veteran owned tea brand out there. Their mission is to maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. No junk, just real tea here. And the tactical advantage is that each bag brews not just once but twice. All you have to do is go to artillerytco.com and use the code liberty for 20% off of your first order. That's artillerytco.com it's premium tea that's mission driven and brewed for the brave. All right folks, we are continuing our coverage of today's highly watched off year elections. Let's check in now with the Citizens alliance in Pennsylvania. Chase hq. That would be Cliff Maloney. He's actually been hitting the streets already early this morning trying to drum up support.
Steve Bannon
We got a Superior Court and a Commonwealth Court race that are both statewide with the Democrat and Republicans on the ballot. Those are the key races to watch in Pennsylvania. We're building the red wall congressional district 7, 8 and 10, another big one in PA and we got tons of House seats in Jersey. We're trying to flip.
Terrence
Cliff joining us now with that Philadelphia Eagles cap. We won't talk too much about that. We'll really get down to business. Hey, Cliff. So look, let's just be honest here. I would imagine that a lot of the focus has got to be on the gubernatorial race there in New Jersey. It's my understanding you guys are knocking on doors. We're trying to get up to a million doors.
Steve Bannon
Yeah. So this year we pledged at Citizens.
David Brody
Alliance to run not just the New.
Steve Bannon
Jersey Chase program but to double down on pa.
David Brody
So I'm happy to announce here on.
Steve Bannon
Your show we are on Track to.
David Brody
Knock 500,000 doors in New Jersey to.
Steve Bannon
Support Jack Cittarelli as well as knocking 500,000 doors this year in Pennsylvania to try to build that red wall. But I got to tell you, the excitement right now and a lot of the numbers we're looking at, New Jersey is going to be razor, razor sharp. But we're hoping we can pull it out.
Terrence
What is it going to take to pull it out? Obviously there's so much happening politically and let's just be honest here about this as well. New Jersey tends to typically go Democrat. What can turn it around?
Steve Bannon
Yeah, look, the fact that we're even saying New Jersey is in play, the fact that it's competitive is a huge win right if you would have told me this six months ago, I would have thought you were crazy. But let me give you some of the numbers to answer your question as directly as I possibly can. First, there are still 57,000 Republicans, registered Republicans in the state of New Jersey that requested a mail in ballot and never sent it back. Those folks must take their ballot in and deliver it today. That's number one. Number two, we've already increased early vote by five percentage points. If you compare four years ago until today, that's done with early voting is now over. So the final piece is really simple. We need every Republican in New Jersey to show up and win today.
Jake Novak
And here's my prediction.
Steve Bannon
Jack Chittarro is going to have to win by 290,000 votes. The margin of victory on election day with election day voters to pull this off. Is it possible? Yes. But it's going to take every Republican not sitting at home to get out there and vote in New Jersey. There is a path here. We just need folks to vote.
Terrence
Cliff, I've got so many questions. The one thing that comes to mind is what's happening in New York. Obviously everyone just expects Mondomini to win, but since New Jersey is right across the water, take a couple of bridges and you're in New Jersey and people are seeing that craziness, could that potentially impact what happens in New Jersey? Could people say, you know what, I traditionally might go for a Democrat, but I need someone to offset what's happening across the river?
Steve Bannon
Yeah, look, I think when you look at North Jersey, I'm not rooting for Mamdani, but this is probably the best thing that's ever happened to not just Jack Cittarelli, but to any Republican that's running for office. New York City is about to elect a socialist. Right. I hope that doesn't happen, but the odds are it does. So talk about a dichotomy of having somebody like Jack Cittarelli in a blue state flipping to red.
David Brody
Doesn't that just prove that the blue.
Steve Bannon
Collar party is now the Republican, that the working class party is now firmly the Republicans, while meanwhile the elitist bubble of New York City now has a socialist mayor.
David Brody
If that doesn't paint a picture for.
Steve Bannon
You about what the future of politics looks like in America, I don't know what will. But it's another reason Jack has to win. And your question is such a great.
David Brody
One because yes, it is motivating folks.
Steve Bannon
In North Jersey to say, listen, we need some sanity. We need rational thought. And that's Jack Cittarelli.
Terrence
I should end while I'm ahead since you said my question is such a great one. But I've got one more talk about what you've been hearing from the folks you've been door knocking. Obviously 500,000 homes. But I would imagine in those conversations you're really getting a perspective of what's impacting everyday New Jerseyans. Let's just keep it at New Jersey, what's impacting them and what they're voting on. So what are you hearing?
Steve Bannon
Yeah, the number one issue is affordability.
Brian Glenn
Right.
Steve Bannon
When you look at energy costs, electric bills, it is out of control in New Jersey.
David Brody
And Mikey Sherrill, the Democrat, you know, her whole message is, well, we need.
Steve Bannon
To bring about change.
David Brody
Well, listen, your party's been in charge.
Steve Bannon
For the last eight years, right?
Terrence
What are you changing?
David Brody
You won't disagree with any of their.
Steve Bannon
Policies, but you say you want different outcomes.
David Brody
Jack Cittarelli is connecting with voters at.
Steve Bannon
Every event that I go to. People love Jack. I mean, the guy looks like a governor of New Jersey, right? He fits the part perfectly. And I actually think Mikey Sheryl, she's.
David Brody
The Kamala Harris of New Jersey.
Steve Bannon
The more time voters spend with her, the more they don't like her, the more she is losing votes.
David Brody
And so this whole thing is just about turnout today.
Steve Bannon
But it's about electric bills.
David Brody
It's obviously about protecting American citizens over illegal immigrants, ending all the woke stuff like all these men trying to get into girls sports. These are a lot of the same issues from 2024, but it's about how.
Steve Bannon
Much is the America first movement ready to double down and try to swing.
Jake Novak
A huge blue state like New Jersey.
Steve Bannon
The fact that New Jersey is in play is a huge win. And if Republicans show up today, we.
David Brody
Can pull it off.
Terrence
It's going to be an interesting day across the tri state cliff. Always good to talk to you, my friend. Appreciate you joining us this morning. Fly, eagles, fly.
Steve Bannon
Go birds. We'll see you.
Terrence
There you go. Talk to you soon. Still to come here on American Sunrise. New York City is in the spotlight today as New Yorkers appear very likely to elect an admitted socialist with almost no job experience of any kind. We'll look at what the future may hold for the Big Apple after the break. Stay with us.

And we can have conversations, even agree to disagree, but we do so in a way that I think makes the conversation and elevates the conversation in general.

“He was the one who took all the hits and the bruises for that presidency and really redefined what a vice president was. And he was absolutely a giant.” — Dr. Gina [03:31]
“There’ll be a time and a place to talk about Dick Cheney’s legacy, good and bad. A lot of folks probably would start with the bad if you’re MAGA today… But he’s a historical figure, Gina. I mean, there’s no doubt about it.” [02:25]
“It’s grandma’s rules today. If you don’t have something nice to say, just don’t say anything. But I don’t think you can deny that he did redefine the office of the vice presidency.” — Dr. Gina [56:13]
Segment: [08:29–14:42, 16:36–20:41, 41:31–46:32, 60:12–66:05, 85:19–94:06, 98:03–104:09]
“If Mandami becomes mayor, it’s going to be hard for me as the president to give a lot of money to New York, because if you have a communist running New York, all you’re doing is wasting the money you’re sending there.” — President Trump, as quoted by the hosts [08:54]
“100% I got Mondame on that [as projected winner]... A lot is on the line, of course. Some say this would be good for a future governor race... But today is a big day.” — Brian Glenn [09:41]
“The fact that we’re even saying New Jersey is in play, the fact that it’s competitive is a huge win... Jack Cittarelli is going to have to win by 290,000 votes on election day to pull this off. Is it possible? Yes.” [100:48]
Segment: [11:42–14:11, 92:45–94:06]
“Democrats are going to cave here because Republicans are not going to do anything until the government reopens.” — David Brody [12:57]
“The media continues to ask these baited questions because they know the president can and likes to go off script sometimes. They’re always looking for that gotcha moment.” — Don Bramer [25:42]
“Iran looks like that bad influencer that’s doing whatever they can because their TikTok viewers are failing.” — Don Bramer [28:10]
“This is exactly the designation that Nigeria deserves. They deserve to be put into the same category as Iran and Cuba and the People’s Republic of China... I think it’s also a wake up call for American Christians because we don’t face persecution like this.” — Dr. Robert Pacienza [49:11]
“Vaccination is a leading risk and cause for autism. Many though out there in social media land are still calling people like you and me science deniers.” — Dr. Gina [31:59]
“CDC has a $9 billion budget... and they couldn’t generate a report like this... I think what should happen immediately is HHS should do their own analysis.” — Dr. McCullough [35:11]
Segment: [05:36, 58:27, 85:19]
“This isn’t just about watching. It’s about doing. Joining campaigns, volunteering locally, standing for truth. This isn’t just a fan platform. It’s a movement. One voice at a time.” — Steve Bannon promo [05:36, 39:21, etc.]
“If you only had MSNBC or Chicken Noodle News, what a sad world that would be, right?... The mission is America with faith, family and country.” — Steve Bannon [87:02]
“If Trump just did that [criticize with grace], he probably would have won 48, 49 states. But people can’t get over any attacks. It irritates them too much.” — Adam Weiss [68:57]
“Wall Street thinks Kimberly Clark overpaid for this sucker... They are kicking Kimberly Clark in the face.” — Jake Novak [76:16]
On Cheney’s legacy:
“If this were 10 or 20 years ago, it would be a whole different sort of a eulogy, and we will get to that in the days to come. Maga’s heart is very bruised by some of the actions, and we’ll talk about that later. But this isn’t the day for that.”
