And the Trump administration is set to answer a judge's order related to food aid for millions of Americans. The question this morning, however, how much longer can this go on? We'll take you to Washington, D.C. for answers. Plus, the Trump administration extends the National Guard deployment in Washington, D.C. so could we see more troops on the ground there? And then later, President Trump has a new message for New York City Mayor elect Zoran Mandami. Be respectful to Washington, he says. So is the message falling on deaf ears? We'll have those stories and so much more right now on American Sunrise. Good morning, America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family. The American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning, everyone. Thank you so much for tuning in to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn filling in briefly here for Dr. Gina. She will be with us in just a few minutes. Let's bring in David brody in Washington, D.C. and Terrence Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to all. Good morning. Good morning, Emily. Good morning, David. Good morning. What a Friday. So if either of you are going to be traveling, well, there are a couple of cautionary things. First of all, flight delays are going into effect and cancellations across the country. That's one thing. Sorry to poke the bear there, David. I know you're gonna be traveling today, but the other thing is, particularly for folks who are traveling internationally, check your passport. CBS News has this headline which reads, supreme Court Lets Trump Enforce new policy on Passport Sex Designations Removing X gender Marker. Basically. Long story short here, this freezes a lower court order keeping the ex gender on passports. It also requires documents to reflect a Holder's biological gender at birth. The only exit should be on a passport in my mind. Is the X where supposed to sign your name, David. Exactly. You know what? A revolution of common sense. Isn't that what Donald Trump talked about? And here we go from the Supreme Court. Hey, so liberals, hold on to your granola this morning, Male and female. That's it, folks. Good night. Have a wonderful evening. That's it. And here's the thing. This whole transgender non binary thing. All right, let's play that out. Emily. So say you go with the transgender non binary on the passport, which you can't now, but let's say you did. Okay, so my passport now says what exactly? Transgender. But then one day I'm male, one day I'm female, one day I'm binary. When next I'm non binary, next day I'm carry the one plus the four. What am I? So you're gonna have to do so many different passport changes because, you know, you don't know who you're. Who you are from day to day, week to week, month to month. The point is, the whole thing's ridiculous. Stop. Yeah, this is. And have some granola while you're at it. This is certainly a win for common sen. I mean, even if you do identify as transgender, you were still assigned a gender at birth, and that needs to go on your passport. I mean, it's as simple as that. Not. And by the way, this just in. That ain't hate speech. By the way. That ain't hate speech. So don't bring it. Don't bring that. And to me, it really comes down to the bottom line of safety. When you're flying abroad or when you're at an airport or identifying yourself via passport, the idea is that whoever is looking or whoever is controlling the passport be able to identify you with some degree of certainty. And part of that identification process is one's gender. Even if you're a man and you're dressed up like a woman, at least there should be something within that passport that gives a person an idea of who they're trying to identify. It seems just that basic to me when you break it all down. But. And by the way, can I just say something? I'm so glad you said that. And that took courage and boldness to say that, but that's right. A man dressed up as a woman. Thank you. Thank you, Terrence, for saying that, because that's the truth. Some people are actually having body parts removed and replaced. I get that. But what you just said there, overall is exactly what's going on. And we had a name for that back in the 1970s. I won't use it today because it might be a little crude, but that is exactly right. T. Bates. That's all I want to say. Emily, please. I'm sorry. I digress. I always digress. I do want to quote the great Shania Twain here, man, I feel like a woman and I am thanking God every day for being a woman. I think that's a good transition to our Bible verse for today. It comes from Psalm 29:2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to his name. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Beautiful way to start the day. The longest shutdown in history does continue today and we are now seeing a report that Democrats are feeling more confident in their position. The Hill reports that Democrats are feeling more emboldened after Tuesday's election wins and they do not expect a deal this week. Senate Majority Leader John Thune is calling on Democrats to do the right thing. Take a Look at this, Mr. President. Democrats have a choice to make. Are they going to continue to bow to pressure from voices on the far left telling them to keep up their opposition or are they going to stop the American people's suffering and end this shutdown? I hope enough of them are willing to do the right thing and I hope they do it soon. The American people can't wait for events to play out. For more, let's bring in RAV chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn. Brian, what more can you tell us about where things stand on the shutdown? Well, as far as any future negotiations, from what I understand, the Senate is out next week from what I've been told. So unless it happens today, it's certainly not going to happen next week. Mike Johnson is not calling the back into session to at least go over some of the appropriations and maybe pass some bills. So none of that's going to take place. But the only wait that's going to happen right now, Emily, are people waiting at the airport to find out if their flight is going to take off. I mean, as we've been talking about all morning in kind of the back chat there, about 40 plus airports planning to scale back thousands of flights, about 780 flights to be exact, were canceled proactively yesterday for the weekend. Now, I know, David, you mentioned you're about to get on a plane. I'm about to get on a plane a little bit later this afternoon. We'll see if those planes take off on time. But major, major ramping down so far Scaling down on air traffic controllers midway through this month. November 14th will go down to about, I believe, a 10% reduction there. So great wait times. Look ahead for those that are traveling. And if you're looking at packages as well, Kentucky and Memphis both are impacted with FedEx and UPS. So perhaps your packages shipping for the holidays may take a little bit longer to get there. Absolutely. And talk about political malpractice. I mean, my goodness, people, you know, a pox on all your houses. Get it done and get me to my destination on time, by the way, on a narcissistic level. All right, Brian, let's talk about this New York Post headline. Well, it's everywhere. It's a headline everywhere. Trump Relishes Evil, Corrupt Nancy Pelosi's retirement. Great thing for America. He's so classic. Anyhow, he said, look, you know, you impeach me twice. And that was ridiculous. Of course, the speaker was, or excuse me, Pelosi was there and speaker when Obamacare was passed. So what a track record. You know, San Francisco, you can have her. She's not necessarily the San Francisco treatment, but good luck. Brian, your take. That's good. That's good. I never liked the San Francisco treat anyway. Hey, remember Nancy Pelosi also ripped up that speech at the State of the Union. That was a highlight in her career as well. Yeah. Remember that? Now, I can say I do not agree with her at all politically. I probably wouldn't have voted for anything that she ever submitted. But I will say this. She was really good at keeping her party together and keep them organized and keep them in step and bringing in people like aoc, people that might have gotten way far left or kind of bring them all in to vote, vote together and keep them on the same page. Now, I can't say that for other GOP speakers that we've had in the past. They have not been able to maintain complete control of their conference like Nancy Pelosi did. So from a job standpoint, she was good at what she did. We just all can disagree 100% of what she was actually supporting. But Nancy Pelosi stepping aside and going back to Northern California to enjoy perhaps a San Francisco treat. David? Hey, Brian, this is a perfect question for you because I know sometimes you decide to walk to work to the White House. You're on the streets there of Washington, D.C. aBC News has this new headline out which reads, D.C. national Guard Deployment in the nation's capital ordered by Trump is extended until February 28th. That order, of course, was originally started back in August as part of a crime fighting mission. First of all, talk about kind of the optics. Are you still seeing National Guard troops pretty prevalently on the streets there, the nation's capital? And beyond that, what are your thoughts in terms of this extension and its impact? President Trump, of course, has said that he's been able to turn around the crime situation there in Washington, D.C. moving forward through the new year. This seems like it will be a continuation thereof. Yeah, President Trump has done an excellent job curving the crime here in D.C. we can all admit that. I don't see him as much as I did initially. Now, I know we have around 2,000 troops that are in this D.C. area. Perhaps they're just in areas that I just don't no longer travel to or just don't go to. So I don't see them, which is a good thing. Maybe they're spreading themselves around the area now. That's been extended to February 28th. So perhaps from that point I do anticipate it going a little bit further and I do anticipate. He's always talked about going to additional cities. Now, some of these officers, which is really interesting, Terrence, some of them actually have weapons on them and some of them don't. Some of them been doing more like what you could describe as yard work, trash cleanup, things like that. They picked up thousands of bags of trash, mulch, spread mulch in certain park areas. So they are being very productive on the ground. But the presence of them on the streets of any city here in America is a good thing. I think it does detract or deter people from, you know, committing violent crime or just random assaults in public. I think it's a good thing. But, you know, we'll see if it goes beyond February 28th. I think it will. I think it's a good thing to have them here in our nation's capital. And I think they're an asset when every time I see them, Terrence, I thank them for their service and that they're leaving their families to serve our country. It's a good thing. Hey, Brian, by the way, if I can just add really quickly, and this is for Brian and for David as you guys travel today, also thank those TSA workers. I traveled last week and I tried to make it a point to say thank you because they're working without a paycheck. And I will say my experience was a very good one. They were very professional, very calm, very patient. And I can only imagine how much intestinal fortitude it takes for that sort of thing, particularly when you know you're not getting paid. So just my little sense, guys. Brian, you do that all the time. Yeah, I do that all the time. Real quickly, in the Oval Office yesterday, I asked President Trump about air traffic controllers. I have several pilot friends. They tell me there's one thing the government does and that is air traffic controllers are going to do major upgrades to the system to make it a little bit more efficient for these air traffic controllers, which are one of the reasons why they're scaling back all these flights. So God bless them as well. God bless everyone at tsa. They, they don't want to have you asked after you take off your jacket, your shoes, any more than you want to do it. But they do it with a smile. And I think that's important. So thank you for your service. Wow. I don't know what airports you guys have been going to, but at Chicago o', Hare, they are not this pleasant. I do thank them, but I usually get yelled at. Take off your shoes, take off your backpack. No, it's a tough job for sure. Brian, Glenn, thank you so much for your time. It is. Thank you, Emily. It happened as President Trump was rolling out new cost cutting measures for obesity drugs. Gordon, you okay? The good news is the White House confirming the gentleman you saw pass out is okay. He was there representing a pharmaceutical company. The group was in the Oval Office as President Trump announced significant price cuts. Obesity drugs which he says cost Americans 1400% more than patients in Europe. And this has to do with other pharmaceutical products also. But we're covering this today because it's such a big seller. I guess it's the number one selling thing there is today. These are two companies that behind the groundbreaking weight loss drugs that have helped millions of Americans struggling with obesity live better, longer lives, everything else. The medical experts on hand for that announcement agree that obesity is a gateway to other health issues. They say that's why anti obesity drugs are so important. Well expect longer than normal lines and angry passengers at the airport today as around 800 flights are already canceled across the country. The Federal Aviation Administration is reducing traffic at the nation's busiest airports because of the ongoing government Shutdown. There are 40 airports in more than two dozen states targeted for the 10% reduction in flights. The FAA says it's starting with a 4% cut in flights today and will ramp up to 10% by next Friday. The so called high volume hubs that are affected include Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles airports, Charlotte, all three Washington D.C. area airports as well as both Chicago airports, just to name a few. The flight reductions are meant to maintain safety in the skies as air traffic controllers are dealing with the added stress of having to work without getting paid. The airline industry is continuing to encourage Congress to end the shutdown so the system can get back to normal. Senate Republicans hope that their Democrat colleagues will come to their senses and vote to reopen the government as as well soon as today. Senate Democrats met behind closed doors on Thursday to discuss a deal for a short term funding deal that will allow Congress to address full year appropriations bills. By the way, the current shutdown is now in its 38th day, marking the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. You see 37 there. It's technically 38 days on this 38th day. The Trump administration is also under a federal judge's order to fully fund SNAP benefits by today. The Rhode island judge is blocking the administration's plan to only provide reduced food and benefits during this shutdown and instead requiring that food aid for 42 million low income Americans be fully funded. In his ruling, U.S. district Judge John McConnell writes, and this is a quote, the evidence shows that people will go hungry, food pantries will be overburdened and needless suffering will occur. That's what irreparable harm here means, he says. That's a quick check of your headlines. Time now to get a quick check of your forecast. Let's bring in Weather Nation meteorologist Brittany. Brittany Lockley joins us this morning. Brittany, good to see you. I'm sorry I'm a little tongue tied because I hear it's getting ready to get cold. And you know, I come from a tropical people. I like it warm. You know, I come from Florida, too. So you like it warm, Terrence, but millions of Americans are going to be experiencing that cold weather. It's going to be diving deep down towards the south. We also have a severe weather threat for the south for today. So you've been talking about those airport delays. So we'll be seeing some, not only with the severe weather threat, but how about with the snowfall as well? We have a clipper system that will be moving through the northern tier of the country bringing us some snow, some lake effect snow too for the Great Lakes. So we'll be talking about that as well. Well, but the coldest air of this season, we're getting ready for winter time. So we're going to see those temperatures drop all the way down towards the south. We're talking about temperatures in the 40s for Florida. So it's going to be quite chilly. But this is next week. Let's talk about what's happening right now. We have a couple of clipper systems that will be rolling through, bringing us some showers, some thunderstorms, especially for the Northeast that will be moving down towards the southeast as well with those stormy conditions and then one back to back. But the second one throughout the weekend is going to bring us some snowfall, that much cooler temperature. So we'll be talking about that as we head into your Monday morning. So it's going to be quite chilly across the area, but temperatures right now in Texas, where it's sitting in the 60s for Dallas. How about here in Denver, 31 degrees in the northern tier of the country. We're still still sitting in the 40s for New York, but rain is on the way. Cooler temperatures are going to be on the way as well. We're warming up down towards the South. Los Angeles, we got to talk about you because this weekend you're going to be getting up into the 90s. So here's a look at the next three days. When it comes to the snowfall, we're going to see that snow across areas in the northern tier of the country, especially the Midwest. Maybe 1 to 3 inches of snowfall across this region. It's a pretty decent amount of rain down towards the south. But in terms of the temperatures, Houston, 86 for today, Phoenix 85, Minneapolis, chilly 38 degrees for today. And as we get into your Saturday, we're going to see those cooler temperatures as well. Though Sunday is also going to bring chillier temperatures. Terence, I'm sending things back to you. We got your hometown forecast coming up and going. I'm pretty sure your viewers are gonna love it. All right. Looking forward to it, Brittany. Appreciate it. We'll check in with you next hour. By the way, folks, there at the bottom of your screen, you see that QR code? All right, before we take a break, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatening to resume nuclear testing. So how is the Trump administration going to respond to all of that? Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. All right, we turn now to the president and international commerce. Trump didn't just use tariffs to fix trade. He also used them to protect America, to squeeze our enemies and, of course, secure our border. Now the Supreme Court is stepping in, asking if he ever had that power in the first place. They're skeptical, by the way. Not good for the Trump administration. They're looking at a 1977 emergency law that Trump used to justify the move on tariffs. Critics say that law was never meant to give a president this much control. Well, join us down. Join us now to break it all down as retired Navy captain, California state Senate candidate as well, Armen Curdian. Armin, good to have you here on the west coast coast. So, look, if the court takes that power away, you wonder what it means for national security for the next president. I know they're looking at this as the Supreme Court is saying basically that a tariff is a tax. And so I have a feeling they're going to strike this down or at least curtail it a little bit. What's your take? Good morning to you. Good morning, David. Dr. Gina and Terrence. So the tariff situation in China is less predictable than the weather. In fact, the prime minister gets an hour brief every day, much like a weather forecast, about what tariffs might or may not be over the next few days. Look, the International Economic Powers act is there for a reason, and it's been law for nearly 50 years. So they're not going to strike it down. I think what they're going to do is they're going to strike a balance, and it's probably going to be the right one when it comes to an emergency response, when it comes to, say, somebody who's acting very badly or there is a serious national security issue, I think the president is going to still have that power, power to impose a tariff as a punitive measure. Now, when it comes to simple economic or trade policies, I think they're going to be a lot more narrow minded. And frankly, I think that's probably the right rule because it is, in essence, a tax. It is costing money. Whether it's an American company, whoever is actually going to impose does preserve congressional authority, but the court, I think, should, and rightly so, preserve the President's ability to impose a tariff if there is a serious situation or to compel a type of behavior. Like you said, look, India and Pakistan, if you guys don't come to the table, then I'm going to impose 100% tariff. You're not going to be able to put your goods into the US and say, oh, okay, well, let's come to the table. And I think they're going to be able to prove that just based on the outcomes that he has received by doing that. Armen, during his recent trip to Asia, I guess it was last week President Trump announced that he was going to instruct the Department of War to begin nuclear testing. Again, not to be outdone, Vladimir Putin coming out now saying that he also wants to restart nuclear testing. What should we read into this and should we begin to get concerned about this kind of nuclear back and forth, if you will? I think you're going to find that those who are probably least desirous, besides the environmentalists of restarting U.S. nuclear testing, might be the actual folks who actually design our weapons to begin with. You know, these weapons are tested on a regular basis without any fissionable material. Just by looking at the math and very, very heavy detailed analysis and data extraction, they can determine that the explosions of the conventional munitions that essentially set off a nuclear reaction, if they're exploding in the right way, if the pressures are going in the right way, because they know that, you know, by, by math, if they get certain pressures in a correct way, then it causes the uranium to fuse and then, or plutonium to fuse, which then continues on with the chain reaction. And in that sense, we have a major advantage over countries around the rest of the world. So while I understand the President's position and that, you know, you've seen, you know, you saw India and Pakistan do a nuclear test in response to each other, you know, about 20 years ago or so, the North Koreans are doing it as well, I would be careful about actually doing this because it's entirely possible that our adversaries may actually benefit more from their nuclear testing than our own. Armin, you're running for state Senate in, of all places, California. Not exactly easy territory for a conservative. What made you say, I'm in? It's really, really simple. And this is a lesson that should be learned by some of the races that we saw. Audis where Republicans did very poorly on Tuesday. It's all about the kitchen table. It always comes down to, can I put food on the table, can I put gas in my car, Do I have a regular job? Now, if I go out and say, you know, California has the highest unemployment rate in the nation and one and a half million people leaving the state, those are two facts. But how do you relate it to an individual says, look, your gas is a dollar higher than it needs to be and that's food that you're not able to buy. And look at, look, we've driven refiners out of the state. You can't fill up your car, your rent is too high because you got three generations of people living there. We don't have enough housing. It's too expensive to build. You've got to bring it down to something that they can understand. And when Trump won in 16 and again in 24, he was very clear about that kind of message. And Republicans all over the country, doesn't matter what level you're running at, if you can't make that kind of connection to folks, that's what needs to happen. And frankly, for me, it matters because I care about helping people. You know, it's comes back to my time in the Navy. I love solving the big problems. I love bringing people together and doing something for the common good. That's what gets me up in the morning. And there is a tremendous amount of grassroots support for, for my campaign. You know, I've been, been all over the place. I got another event tonight, another one tomorrow night. So a lot of folks are very, very excited about this campaign. And it certainly is not necessarily going to be easy, but it is doable. And you got to show folks that there is a path forward and that we can get Republicans to get out and win with the right message and with the right type of campaign. Because, remember, elections are less about issues in this state a lot of ways than they are the marketing or how you express those issues and you connect with voters. And that's what we're going to do. No doubt about it. Armin Curtin, great to have you. Good luck out there. By the way, say hi to Gavin Newsom for us. Actually, don't do that, but thank you. He'll be gone by the time I get up there. So we'll see what happens. That's right. Yeah. There's a run on hairspray because of him. All right, thank you, sir. Appreciate it. Thanks. Have a good one. Coming up, the Trump administration announces a new deal that's actually going to lower prices on those popular GLP1 drugs for weight loss. I'm sorry, did someone say weight loss? I'm listening. I hope you will, too. Details when we come back. Everybody foreign a business and not thinking about radio. Think again. Yes, Colin would like you to know this is the best bump shot money can buy right there. That is our control room. They do work so hard and do such a good job. Thanks, you guys. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. Time now for today's health news, sponsored by the Wellness Company and under the microscope today, the Trump administration's new deal to cut prices for popular weight loss drugs. President Donald Trump announced a landmark agreement with pharmaceutical giants Novo Nordisk and eli Lilly and company to dramatically slash the prices of their GOP1 weight loss drugs. This includes things drugs like WeGovy and Zepbound. Now, under this deal, cash pay monthly prices will drop from more than $1,000 to around $350. I believe that's per month. This is with a goal of reaching $245 per month within two years. In addition, the agreement expands coverage under centers for Medicare and Medicaid services and and for obesity treatments, with some Medicare enrollees paying as little as $50 copay per month. Now, this move positions weight loss medications not just as a lifestyle choice, but as accessible medical treatments for millions of Americans who struggle with obesity and associated risks. It is a triumph for American patients The president said, promising that millions could soon benefit from lower costs and broader access. For insurers and the industry, this could be a game changer. While the drug makers agree to these lower margin, of course the expectation is volume because right now the number one consumer of these drugs is in, I believe the Upper east side of Manhattan. And they recognize that the greatest density of obese people is in rural areas. So they want to get that broader market access. It will offset the drop in price. Analysts are watching closely how this will play out. Well, there's a new administration in Washington D.C. if you hadn't heard. And a lot of they brought a lot of positive energy, positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality though, there's only so much government can do. That's what my kids tell me all the time. Mom, you're so g. You're so g. Well, you are G and you are so G. So. All right. I think it's goofy, but I'm gonna go for gangster anyway. Yeah, you gangsta. All right, all right. We just need to stop now. Over to New York. Speaking of gangsters. No, I'm just where the fallout from Tuesday's election of communist Zoran Mamdani is starting to appear. In response to the wind, New York City's Fire commissioner Robert Tucker announced he's out. He announced his resignation. Tucker. Robert Tucker, that is, who is Jewish, reportedly said his values defending Israel do not align with the new mayor elect. That's for sure. Tucker has Been on the job for roughly one year and will now go back to running a private security company. All right, for more, let's bring in retired NYPD detective and the co host of the Gold Shields podcast. That would be Tom Smith. Tom, curious to get your thoughts about Robert Tucker. I mean, him and a lot of other folks this morning are really concerned, especially if you're Jewish in the city. Yeah, they're not going to compromise their beliefs and their religion and the way they were brought up. You know, no matter what their position is in their government, you know, they have to stand by their morals and this individual stood by that. And I think this might be the beginning of many more that's going to come down the line. Not just on the religious front, but just an ethical front of what he stands for and other people that aren't going to be behind this administration in what he said in the past and what he's going to stand for. No doubt about that. Hey, let me show you this New York Post headline. And sadly, it has to do with swastikas that were found painted on a Brooklyn yeshiva hours after Zoran Mamdani elected New York City mayor. How much should Jews in New York actually be worried about what Mamdani is either going to do or more importantly and probably more probably kind of start to kind of cause based on some of his supporters maybe getting the a okay from Mamdani that hey, you know what, maybe we need to get a little rambunctious here in the city. Yeah. Dave, listen, we've talked about words mattering and people of influence and politicians mattering what they say and having an influence on the like minded people out there. You know, all these people have an agenda with causing destruction or causing violence. And all they need is a little push from someone in somewhat of a power trip, you know, in, in egging them on to do this. And they'll be backed up by it. And Mandani has shown that he's out there running his mouth about a lot of things that he's done in the past. And it's gonna fire these people up. And that's what the dangerous part lies in New York, not just with swastikas, but what's gonna go on on a violent level once they really get amped up and he gets into office. Hey, Tom, in the past he's called for defunding the New York City Police Department. He's since walked that back and says no, nevermind, I wasn't serious about that. Yeah, right, whatever. But I'm Curious to get your take of what you think that morale is like inside NYPD after Mamdani's election victory. What's your sense of what's going on in there? Yeah, I think there's a nervous level because you don't know, because you can't trust him. That's the whole point in this. He can say he. You know, the words that he said before in the post that he put out, that wasn't me. I didn't really mean it. Yes, he did. You know, your first actions and your first words are your beliefs and what you think of. And just like every other politician, once their name gets on a ballot, they start walking back what they originally said. But I think they're. They're playing this on a cautious level. Do I think there's going to be a dramatic change in the nypd? I don't know if he's going to go that route, but there's a danger out there of him putting into policy these really dangerous things that are going to impact the citizens and cops and these social worker programs that he wants to do that is never going to work. There is no scenario out there in New York City that that policy is going to be achievable or successful. Well, what's for darn sure is the NYPD is going to have their hands full, whether it be increased crime or out of control protests, whatever it is. Tom, appreciate you and everything you've done in your career and your service, not just to New York, but really for the country. So I thank you so much. Thank you so much for that, David. I appreciate it. No, and we really mean it. Appreciate it. And our audience does as well. All right, thanks, Tom. Coming up, more election fallout in New York. President Trump has called on Mayor elect Mamdani to respect Washington. What did Trump say could happen if he doesn't respect Washington? Oh, that answer coming up. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it's time to stay awake, not woke. And in focus is woke New York City Mayor elect Zoran Mamdani. President Trump has a new message for socialists about to take control of the Big Apple. Take a look at this. It'll work this time. Did you see his victory speech? Literally never worked. Yeah, I thought it was a very angry speech. Certainly angry toward me. And I think he should be very nice to me. You know, I'm the one that sort of has to approve a lot of things coming to him. So he's off to a bad start. At one point he says, turn the volume up. So hear me, President Trump, when I say this, to get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us. How do you respond to that? Does that, does that affect anything you're going to do? As a very dangerous statement for him to make, actually. And you know, you talk about danger, I think it's a very dangerous statement for him to make. He has to be a little bit respectful of Washington because if he's not, he doesn't have a chance of succeeding. And I want to make him succeed. I want to make the city succeed. I don't want to make him succeed. I want to make the city succeed. And we'll see what happens. You see reaching out to him, I would say he should reach out to us. The election of Mamdani has New Yorkers reaching their breaking points. And joining us now with Insight is New York resident and the host of the aptly named show Breaking Point here on Real America's Voice, David Zier. David, always great to see you. Your reaction to this week's election? I mean, this is crazy. Well, the Scooby Doo mask has been ripped off. Emily Mamdani's fun guy Persona throughout the campaign and on social media has been transformed into a radical rhetoric during his victory speech. Mamdani thinks he's Tyler Durden in Fight Club up there and he's going to burn it all down and dismantle the system. His speech was like IDI Amin and Che Guevara had a love child and he was speaking to a slave labor camp in a lithium mine in Africa. Absolutely exaggerating so called oppression of immigrants that he supposedly stands for. But they have a better life in any one of the countries of origins that they came from. So it's all a myth. And the young people, over 70% of them in New York City fell for it hook, line and sinker with Mamdani's class warfare message. And you know, just like the commies did in the Soviet Union. And Mamdani's rhetoric is symbolic of Trotsky's permanent revolution, bringing communism to America through the proletariat hipsters of New York City. And they're already ripping down flag flags, American flags in New York City. Trump should throw an invitation Mamdani's way, meet with the DSA gen zers and hear the concerns as the American dream is fleeting for many and Trump's warning is a shot across the bow because New York received about 100 billion in federal funding, which accounted for 38% of the state's total revenue for infrastructure, health care and education, the latter two getting 50 billion alone. And new York is already projected to experience a $16 billion reduction in federal funding primarily due to regulation and border budget cut. Mamdani should be very careful going forward. And with people already leaving New York City, the New York City budget could be really affected. Yeah, there's going to be some serious consequences for this election, David. And I will say I am so disappointed in the young people that was really well said that they fell for it. They absolutely fell for it. I just want to shake them. You are ruining your future. David, what do you have? Coming up on Breaking Point this weekend for us, I have retired Navy Lieutenant Commander Thomas Caldwell, his incredible J6 story, being persecuted by the FBI for years and vindicated in the end. Then I got Stef, the very sharp New York young Republican leader on why the young vote came out from Mamdani and the exploitation of the youth through class warfare and Marxist ideology. Then I got Greg Wrightstone, the director of the CO2 Coalition on Bill Gates and other notable scientists reversing their opinion on climate change. Sounds like it's going to be a great show, David. In all seriousness, stay safe there in New York. Yeah, absolutely. The NYPD is not happy and Houston's recruiting them already, so it's not a good situation. All right, well, we will be tuning in to Breaking Point this Saturday at 8am thank you, David Zier. Coming up, some of the untold stories of the Gospels. Our very own Bible history guy, Jim Moseley is next with incredible information on what you may not know about the good book. That's next on American Sunrise. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. That guy sounds solid, doesn't he? That guy does the heaven and the earth. I like him. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. Time now for our moment of faith brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus today. One thing that most people have never considered. You know, the Gospels show us many moments from Jesus ministry, but most of this time with the disciples actually happened out of sight. The cameras were not rolling. Oh, wait, they didn't have cameras. But they were private, unrecorded times where the apostles had basically everything formed for them and prepared by Jesus to carry the message to the world. And for that backstory, let's turn to our friend Jim Moseley. He is the author of the Duke of dc. He's also the author of the Appropriately Titled Discovering Jesus Disciples. And Jim, of course co wrote a new book with Dr. G out in bookstores now and on Amazon, let's be honest. And it's called the Days of Creation By Teaching Children How God Made the World. Go pick up your copy now. Now. Darn it. Did I just say darn it in the faith segment? Anyhow, here he is, Jim Mosley, the Bible history guy. Hey. So Jim, tell us a little bit of an ins. Give us a little bit of an inside look here at what was going on. Good morning to you, sir. Good morning. Well yeah, when we read the Gospels, it often feels like we're just watching the ministry of Jesus in a continuous movie. So it's one scene flowing right into the next. So you get a healing here, a journey there, a teacher on a hillside, and then you go straight to the next event. But Scripture actually reveals the Gospels only record a portion of what Jesus did. John says in his Gospel that if everything were written down, the world itself could not contain all the books. Now the public scenes are familiar to us. The crowds, the miracles, the sermons. And those moments are important, but they're just the tip of the iceberg. Jesus ministry lasted exactly 1,350 days. And 570 of them, that's 42% happened off camera. And that hidden time mattered because Jesus was not simply preaching to the masses. He was forming leaders. He was shopping. He was shaping 12 men to become apostles who could teach accurately and travel all over the place and hand on his message to the world. And that kind of formation doesn't happen quickly. It doesn't happen by inspiration alone. It takes time spent closely together. In Matthew 13, Jesus referred to his disciples as scribes trained for the kingdom of heaven. A scribe was someone who learned by disciplined attention, repeated recitation. The scribe was responsible for accuracy, clarity, memory. So when Jesus made his disciples into scribes, he's preparing them to remember exactly what he said, what he did and what it meant. And that means that the time we do not see in the Gospels is where the deep work took place. Around the table, along the road, by the fire. At the end of the day, Jesus would teach something to the crowds. And then in the quiet afterward, he would explain it again to his disciples. They'd talk through it, repeat it, write it, correct one another's memory and make sure the message was strong enough to carry. And that's why they were able to fulfill the Great Commission. They weren't repeating rumors, they weren't speaking. They were speaking from rehearsed, examined from Verified memory. The Gospels aren't books of fond recollections. They're trained eyewitness testimony. And there's a lesson in this for every believer, especially for anyone who leads the world, pays attention to the visible work, the speeches, the busy days, the public successes. But it's often the hidden time that matters most. Time in study, time in prayer. Time spent learning quietly with God when no one else is looking. The apostles were shaped in that kind of time. Their character, their understanding, their strength were formed away from the crowds. And the same is true for us. Your off grid hours are not wasted hours. They're the hours that shape who you become. Jim Mosley Wow, that's pretty darn deep. That was great. And by the way, you know we always talk about change, right? We want to change. Well, you can't change if you don't grow. And you've got to grow in those private times, especially with our faith. So, Jim Mosley, thanks for being here. Appreciate it. My pleasure. Wow, that's deep. I'm going to think about it for two minutes. In the meantime, stick around. Back in a moment. Second hour on a Friday. Back in a moment. This follows rumors of the shutdown potentially ending this week. But many Democrats apparently feeling confident that they can score wins on health care. We'll have the very latest straight ahead. Plus, California Democrat and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has confirmed she will not be seeking re election next year. This ends her decades long congressional career where she spent nearly 40 years in the US House. We'll cover the fallout. And then Later, Vice President J.D. vance has a reality check for Republicans. After a series of losses earlier this week in elections, the VP is urging Republicans to refocus on issues like the economy and inflation. All of those stories and so much more right now on this second hour of American Sunrise. Good morning America. And I'm Dr. Gina. And welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G and Wes Palm on a Friday. T. Bates, also on a Friday, I guess, in Denver. Good morning to both of you. Hey, you know, let me just say because as you guys both know, you've been doing the show long enough. With me, it is all about me. And as I checked my flight status at the top of the 8am hour, it was a 20 minute delay because of the, you know, the flights are crazy across the country. I'm going on a flight in a few hours here. It's a 20 minute delay. Now it's a 30 minute delay. So, Gina, I know our audience cares about my flight today and you both care about my flight today. So thank you for caring. But I just wanted to give everybody an update because I know people really want to know that at the top of the news. Actually, I do care about your flight because I think it's very sweet if I can say where you're going. Sure, go ahead. He's going to see his mother. Regina, cue your inner Terrence and tell it all. My inner Terrence. And I'll just. I'm a dish now. Okay, guys, listen up. No, he's going to see his mother. And it's important to go and see your mother. And you don't get to see her very often because she's pretty far away from you. I'm not going to give locations like Terrence would. He would give the address, the phone number. Here's the address. Put her license up on TV for all of us. But no, but I do care very much. And I'm actually praying that you make your flight and you get to go see her because I can only imagine how her little mama's heart is going to feel if you don't make it there. Amen. Thank you, Gina. Absolutely. Well, David, here's a warning. Expect some longer than normal lines and some angry passengers as you head to the airport today. Around 800 flights are already canceled across the country. The Federal Aviation Administration reducing traffic at the nation's busiest airports because of the ongoing government Shutdown. There are 40 airports in more than two dozen states targeted for an eventual 10% reduction in flights. The FAA says it's starting with a 4% cut in flights today and then will ramp up to that 10% by next Friday. The so called high volume hub that are affected include Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, the Los Angeles airport, Charlotte, all three Washington, D.C. area airports, as well as both Chicago airports, just to name a few. The flight reductions are meant to maintain safety in the skies as air traffic controllers are dealing with the added stress of having to work without getting paid. The airline industry is continuing to encourage Congress to end the shutdown so the system can can get back to normal. Meantime, Senate Republicans hope that their Democrat colleagues will come to their senses and vote to reopen the government as soon as today. Senate Democrats met behind closed doors on Thursday to discuss a deal for a short term funding agreement that will allow Congress to address full year appropriations bills. By the way, the current shutdown is now in its 38th day, marking the longest government shutdown in US history on this 38th day, 37 by this clock, but it's technically 38 on this day. The Trump administration is also under a federal judge's order to fully fund SNAP benefits by today. The Rhode island judge is blocking the administration's plan to only provide reduced food and benefits during this shutdown and instead requiring that food aid for 42 million low income Americans be fully funded. In his ruling, US District Judge John McConnell Writing the evidence shows that people will go hungry, food pantries will be overburdened and needless suffering will occur. That's what irreparable harm here means, he writes. We of course, will continue to cover all of that for you. It's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. By the way, we're going to put up a QR code here at the bottom of your screen so that you can scan it and then join our friends over at Weather Nation. There you have it, meteorologist Brittany Lockley standing by right now with your hometown forecast. Brittany, if I can just one up, you very quickly want to send a shout out and my own hometown forecast to Flashasaurus. He says that he is watching from the recliner. And so my hometown forecast is warm and cozy with a very slight chance of you taking a shower. That's my hometown forecast for him on the recliner. Good morning. Yeah, he has to get up off the recliner. Good morning to you, Terrence. And good morning to you out there. We have a couple of your viewers and we have your forecast. I know they're really excited for this. Here's Hesperia, Michigan. This is for Impala, 65, 54 degrees, 30% chance of rain for today. It's gonna get chilly as we end the weekend beginning, beginning of next week as well. How about Festus, Missouri, seal the deal number 78? Here's your forecast. It's going to get chilly as we get into Sunday. So enjoy it today, 72 degrees, 70 on Saturday. And this one, I really got a shout out because she said this is the home of the hippos. Hutta, Texas, Hutto, Texas, 90 degrees for today. Extremely hot. That drop, girl, you're gonna need that blanket. As we get into Sunday, headed into Monday, we're going to see those temperatures drop down into the 30s. Now, these all came from Getter, but we also have YouTube. We want to see you and we also have some other areas. So if you want your forecast, we got it for you right here on Weather Nation, actually, real America's Voice, but powered by Weather Nation, right, Terrence? Absolutely. We appreciate it. Brittany, always good to see you. Enjoy your weekend and stay warm. I'm not looking forward to those colder conditions coming down. Thanks so much. All right, folks, and remember, go ahead and scan that QR code right there at the bottom of your screen and join our friends over at Weather Nation, including Brittany. All right, let's get, let's get you over to David. David, good morning. Good morning, T. Bates. All right. Earlier this week, the end seemed to be in sight for the government shutdown, but, but, but maybe not. We're getting conflicting messages here. What a shock. We're learning that several Democrats in the Senate, Senate have signaled that they may accept a GOP offer, which would include a continuing resolution, a package of appropriation bills, three of them, and a promise, a promise to vote on Obamacare subsidies. But then you have Democrat leadership in the Senate saying, hey, hold on for a second. They're actually sending signals that they want President Trump to actually agree on a deal regarding Obamacare subsidies before they vote yes on anything. Anyhow, joining us now with the reaction is Missouri Congressman Mark, Mark Alford, our good friend here on the show Congressman, good morning. So what are you hearing in Washington? Because, I mean, is there really any end in sight? I know in the Senate, the Republican Majority Whip, Tom Barrasso said the upper chamber is going to be in session over the weekend and that's what we're hearing at least. What about you guys in the House? What are you being told? Good morning to you, sir. Well, we were told still to be on 48 hour notice to come back. One of the complications for next week, of course, is Veterans Day on Tuesday and a lot of members are back in their district. I'm back in my district now. Got back from Washington last night because we want to help our veterans and honor them on Veterans Day. So if the Senate were to vote on something today, and I hope that they do, this package that they would do would be the continuing resolution that we put forth on September 19th. Yes, it's been that long ago. As well as three appropriation bills that we passed and sent over to the Senate. Agriculture appropriations, military construction, VA, and then the Legislative branch, which basically funds the legislative part of our government. If the Senate does that and sends it back to us, we will get back to Washington as soon as possible and vote on that. Here's the problem. The Democrats, the crazy Dems, as I call them, Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, those who are fearful of losing reelection if they don't fall in line with the Marxist communist side of their government now led by Mamdani, if they don't hold out and give in to sanity, then they are facing the same angry voters with pitchforks that they faced back in March. And so it's going to be a test of wills. This is the 30th day of the Schumer shutdown. America held hostage. And I think they are very content with. With putting America's head in a vise and they are turning that vice. And we are seeing the misery now at our airports. And I. David, I know you're flying home to see your mother. God bless you for doing that. I am not flying anymore unless I absolutely have to. Yeah, I understand. Oh, okay. So does. Are you basically saying you don't trust the system? You don't think it's a safe system? Is that the reason? Look, I know that these air traffic controllers are very stressed out. They're not getting paid. They're working long, long overtime right now. We had a hot dog feed last week here. I fed the community hot dogs trying to do what I could, but I wanted people to come talk to me. And one of them was an air traffic controller from Olathe, Kansas, which is in our viewing area, not in my district, but just across the state line. And he's very concerned about the staffing shortages right now, about the mental capabilities of his fellow workers. And this is only going to get worse. Look, I know that the Secretary of Transportation has put into this place to start peeling back the number of flights to take off 4% right now, and it could get up to 10%. But I'm just saying. I'm not saying that anyone is in imminent danger. I'm just saying what I'm personally not going to do, and that's. I'm not going to be flying until I absolutely have to. I get it. Well, speaking of not doing things until you absolutely have to. It's the end of the Pelosi era and nearly 40 years of Democrat controlled politics and insider power now coming to a welcomed close. Many Americans see this, though, as a very long overdue changing of the guard. A chance to restore accountability, transparency, and real representation in the people's House. So, Congressman, here's my question with Nancy. Moving on. What do Republicans need to do now to prove this new era will be different? Well, look, I think we are under a new era. We have a speaker who gets it, who listens to people and tries to build consensus. His name is Mike Johnson. A person of integrity. You know, all I could think about are strong women in politics and me growing up. And I think we all remember Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain, known as the Iron Lady. I think the opposite of that is Nancy Pelosi. I call her the Iron Skillet Lady. That's how she ruled, with an iron skillet. She beat people over the head until they fell in line. And who can forget her ripping up the State of the Union address behind President Trump? She was dressed in white, but I think she put a dark stain on America by doing childish, foolish stunts like that. Look, she did lead, and Democrats respect her. I think it'll be an interesting future for the Democrats. I don't think Hakeem Jeffries will have the votes if they regain majority to become speaker. I think, you know, they're leaning towards people like AOC if she doesn't run for president. And I think that the party has gone so far off the left that there's no coming back for them. Yeah. Congressman, I want to break this news to you gently, but I don't think you're invited to Nancy Pelosi's farewell party. I hope you're okay with that. I hope you're okay. Yeah, I'm good. I. I do want to tell you though that, you know, I know she's made a lot of money off the stock market. God bless her for that. We do have the pelosi act that we filed in the U. S. House of Representatives. Josh Hawley has a companion bill in the senate saying that if you're a sitting member of Congress, you cannot trade individual stocks. You cannot use insider information to gain riches while you're in congress. We should not be doing that. I'm not doing it. And I don't believe any member of Congress should be. Yeah, the rest of them will just cheat. Congressman, Sorry. Go ahead, David. Sorry. Congressman Mark Oliver. Gotta run. Appreciate you. All right, thank you. Thanks, congressman. All right. A new poll shows a majority of Americans want accountability in the Biden auto pen scandal and they're calling for prosecutions. The latest Rasmussen survey finds 52% of voters believe Biden aides linked to the suspect use of the auto pen should face criminal charges. A sign that public trust in the former president's inner circle is eroding fast. This comes after a House oversight report revealed evidence of what it called Biden's shrinking cognitive and physical abilities and a constitutional crisis caused by the COVID up. Joining us now with reaction is the co host of Cowboy Logic, Donna Feduccia. Good morning to you, Donna. Your take on all of this. Are prosecutions actually coming? I mean, I'm not holding my breath anymore, Emily. You know, as I drove around on Halloween, you see all these skeletons. I'm thinking, you know, that's MAGA waiting for something to happen, for somebody to be held accountable. But this poll actually shows 52%. That's not just the MAGA voters, this is voters in general. This is low hanging fruit, okay? We need accountability. This is getting ridiculous. We all saw it. We all saw his cognitive decline, by the way. 81 million votes, my backside. The evidence is overwhelming. Again, this is also creating a constitutional crisis that needs to be rectified. I think they did know because the Hunter Biden pardon was definitely signed by Biden, which means they knew that if they use the auto pen on a lot of these things, it might not hold up in court. So that to me is an admission of guilt right there. And the House Oversight Committee and Government Reform concluded virtually all of Biden's executive actions signed by the auto pen are void. So let me ask you this, does that include judges like Tanji Brown Jackson? I mean, should Donald Trump have the right to appoint another justice to the Supreme Court? And Representative James Comer, chairman of the Oversight Committee, also asked the DOJ to conduct a comprehensive review of all of Biden's actions. Again, here's the skeleton, okay? What's the DOJ going to do? The aides, apparently there were three aides that Biden used that signed all these, all pleaded the fifth when they were brought in for questioning. And AG Pam Bondi, as promised, accountability to the American people. Again, I'm not holding my breath. We've got pardons, proclamations, commutations, executive orders, again with the judgeships. I think that's a huge thing. And victory, Emily, happens when accountability happens. I mean they, they hold Trump's feet to the fire for a stupid phone call and they impeach him over that. And this is low hanging fruit. And you've got the media complicit. Bring back the Smith Mundt act where the media is held accountable. And maybe all these lies won't be said as much on the mainstream media. Cuz a lot of people don't realize the real truth. That is a huge problem. Absolutely, Donna. We gotta pump some life into these MAGA skeletons, actually get some stuff done here. So what is happening at the barn party this weekend? You know, as far as this weekend, Let me ask you this, why hasn't the RNC looked into any election irregularities from 2020 all the way through 24 and 25. Now the RNC is pushing early voting while Donald Trump wants same day voting and again with voter ID and paper ballots. So even the RNC is working against Donald Trump. We want to know what's really going on with the elections. We've got Jovan Hutton Pulitzer on for a full hour. Patrick Robinette, what's going on with the beef industry? That's a biggie and a puppy. Bannon update. We'll see you in the barn. Party Saturday and Sunday, 6am and 9pm and again Sunday afternoon, 4pm Eastern Time, Eastern Standard Time. Ugh. Gets dark too early, doesn't it? It does, it does. My goodness. I keep going to sleep earlier and earlier. Donna Pedusha, thank you so much for joining us. We appreciate you. Love you, too. Coming up, we're headed down to Wall street to ask the burning question of the week. Is Elon Musk going to be a trillionaire or what? We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Run a business and not thinking about podcasting, Think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than ads supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you at iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844-iheart one more time, call 844-844-IHEART and get podcasting working for you. This is about the only thing that's gonna make you happy, particularly if you're flying through Chicago o' Hare Airport. Yes, we haven't even eaten our Thanksgiving meal yet, but we're already, already in the Christmas mood here this Christmas. It will be coming soon. Lots of slowdowns, delays, cancellations around the country as the FAA is cutting up to 10% of flights. Starting today, it's going to be 4%, but eventually it will be up to 10 flights at about 40 airports across the country, including Chicago O' Hare and Chicago Midway. We'll keep you updated on that. We're also getting you ready for the opening bell at the new York Stock Exchange. It is set to ring here in just a few minutes. I can tell you the pre market trading not necessarily looking so hot. The Dow and s P500 are down. Looks like the Nasdaq also down right now. So the top half of our board is in the red, the bottom half is in the green. Hopefully we can get the whole board in the green by the end of the show. All of that will come up here as we take you to the opening bell at the New York Stock Stock Exchange in short order. But now let's get you over to David Brody. David, good morning. Apologies that I'm already in the Christmas mood, but they were playing some music and so I made a request and now we're playing Christmas songs and it's not even halfway through October and halfway through November. I, I, that's good. No, we got to get in the season, got to get in the spirit. Christmas songs. Also Christmas colors, right? Green and red on the board this morning. So we'll see how that goes. You know, hey, I'm always good for pithy stuff. I'm always good for that stuff. All right, time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense. We've got American Sunrise Early Edition host, the guy behind Jake's take, substacks, that would be Jake Novak, a man that is not pithy at all. Jake. So there was a time when Richie Rich's dad, and by the way, Gen Zers, look it up, was the only trillionaire in the world, but now he has a company, apparently. Elon Musk. I'm assuming he didn't win the lotto or at least every game, every lotto game in America. He did it some other way. Good morning to you, sir. Good morning. I, you know, listen, I, I just can't get past the number here. A trillion dollar pay package for Elon Musk, but as I've been explaining for the last few months, you know, the first company in America to have a trillion dollar valuation was actually Microsoft, wasn't that long ago. It was about, about six years ago. And as soon as that happened, the idea popped into my head. You know, CEOs of companies especially, they've been there for a long time, always get the lion's share of that value at some point. So you knew this was going to happen. Now you've got Nvidia, which is worth 5 trillion almost. So you know this was going to happen. And look, David, Elon Musk has delivered a heck of a lot more than a trillion dollars worth of money into the pockets of Tesla shareholders. By the way, Tesla shares are up 55% from where they were a year ago today. So even with all this political upheaval, he's made money for these people. So this is really just his take. So that a lot of people are going to bang the table about this. But I'll tell you one thing, the next time he goes out to dinner, I'm going to make him pick up the check because honestly, I'm not paying any more for it. That's right. Yeah. And we're not going to see Elon Musk at the drive thru through Chick Fil A. I mean, we're not seeing that. No. All right, well, so here's a shocker. Ford is having second thoughts about its EV version of the F150 pickup up. And I know, Jake, I know this is breaking your heart because it's EV related. I know. No, Jake, listen, I've got a therapy appointment scheduled for 1pm Eastern for you today. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm very upset. No, I mean, I mean, come on. Again, as I've said many times, there is a place for EVs in the American market, about 10% of it at the top end. But I think there is no place for EVs in the rugged pickup division. Ford did this as a way to try to placate the, the Democrats in Washington, the Biden administration. They came out with the lightning ev. It was never going to be that popular. It's losing money. Ford has lost $13 billion alone on their EV division just since 2023. This is exactly what they should really teach this in business schools. Don't play politics with your product line. You can do with other things. Go, go, you know, go sponsor something. Could do a charity dinner post. Do all that if you want to, but not with your product line. And Ford's paying for it. They're going to pull this off the market. I think this is going to happen. Wall Street Journal is reporting it. Duh. It doesn't make money and it's not in the brand of what the F150 is all about, period. The folk who does Bud Light. Is that Anheuser Busch? No, I'm sorry, who does? Who owns. Yeah, but. Yeah, yeah, they just heard you and they're on line four. They agree with you, by the way. Yeah. On that. Yeah. I don't know why I said line four. All right, finally, you have five flights. Okay, I have five guys after the show. All right. Microsoft is restructuring some of its AI division, but it's adopting A slogan that you say is straight out of the Twilight Zone. Oh, nice. We've got the Twilight Zone. B roll even, please. Yeah, this is. This is the famous episode of the Twilight Zone when the guy figures out that the book that the aliens have brought to the Americans. To serve. Man. It's a cookbook. It's a cookbook. Oh, my God. Well, Microsoft is restructuring its AI division and they literally adopted the slogan to serve humanity. Oh, no. It's a cookbook. AI will absolutely cook a lot of people. I think it'll make a lot of our lives better as well. But a lot of the folks at Microsoft itself, the people who came up with that slogan, will probably lose their jobs and get eaten up by that alien. By the way. There he is. By the way, that was the guy who ended up playing the. The supervillain in some of the James Bond movies. It's a cookbook. Anyway. To serve humanity. Really? That's the slogan they chose for AI Anyway, that's just bad, bad, bad branding. Bad branding. Yeah. By the way, we have 20 seconds. Yes. I'm going to mention the one in seven jets. Our team. Your team, My team. They play the Browns. It's a home game. Not that it matters. Your prediction in 14 and a half seconds. A lot of no shows for one thing. And they should absolutely pay the fans to go to these games. I told you earlier this week, they sent the invoice for season ticket holders for next year. $800 more than last year. I mean, this is a team that's literally given up on its season. Highway robbery. Can. Can we get Pam Bondi to arrest the entire jets management for grand larceny tomorrow? That's right, yeah. Thank you for your attention to this matter. All right, thank you. Jake. Great to see you, sir. Appreciate you. Okay. All right. Thank you. I've got a paper bag over my head this Sunday and it's not for lunch. It's not a. What am I saying? Let's just get to Terrence. Come on. It's sponsored by amac all. The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today together we can right the course of America. We're less than a minute from the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. You hear the applause? Now you see the applause, which means the bell is going to ring here in short order. And then we'll get an idea of how the markets are looking on this final day of trading. And right on cue. There you have it. The market's now officially open, which means that some of the runners are running across the floor getting those first trades in. Unfortunately, not such a great start on the markets. The Dow, S P 500 and the NASDAQ all in the red. But as you you can see, the bottom of our screen, which includes precious metals, VIX and everything else are up at the moment. We'll of course continue to monitor this for you throughout the day and let you know how things ultimately shake out on this final day of trading. Still to come here on American Sunrise, Tucker Carlson taking heat after a controversial interview this week with avowed white national Nick Fuentes. Some people are saying that it represents a crack in the America first and MAGA movements. First, though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this date in 2000 that the presidential election between George W. Bush and Alex Al Gore went undecided. Florida took center stage in this fight during the recount effort and even had Judge Robert Rosenberg using a magnifying glass to see if there was a dimpled chad on a punch card ballot. The election eventually ended up before the Supreme Court where it ruled to end the Florida recount. Bush ultimately won the Sunshine state by just 537 votes. And Gore then conceded to Bush. More American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes. Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again, because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio where the reach is real. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844-iheart one more time, just call 844-844-Iheart and get radio working for you. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to join the conversation. Get or rumble YouTube. We're in the chat. All right, Time now to take the political pulse of America. The beats a day, the conservative civil war, in a way. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson under fire after an interview with controversial commentator Nick Fuentes, who has slammed both MAGA and the conservative movement at large of being in the pocket of Israel. And he's praised dictators like Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler. In short, let's be honest, the guy's an anti Semite. The president of the huge conservative think tank, the Heritage foundation, that'd be Kevin Roberts initially defended the interview but quickly walked it back after internal uproar and resignations. The fallout continued when you had Republican figures like Florida Congressman Randy Fine. He had commentator Ben Shapiro. There were countless others calling Carlson's interview dangerous and cowardly. Carlson supporters argue that, look, the establishment is using the Israel debate as a weapon to purge dissenting voices from the right. With the former Fox host saying, this isn't about one interview. It's really about what happens after Donald Trump. All right, for more, let's welcome to American Sunrise, the president, founder of Proactive Strategies. That would be our good friend Mark Serrano. Mark Godot, to have you this morning. So, you know, where do you stand on this? And I'm going to be clear, here's where I stand. Tucker Carlson hardly challenged Fuentes on any of his crazy, hateful, anti Semitic rhetoric And that's obviously a huge problem because Tucker is very influential and his relative silence, Mark, was just despicable. Quite frankly. If any of this anti Semitism takes root in the gop, the party is doomed. Curious to get your take. Good morning, David. And that's exactly where I expected you to land on this. And I respect your view on it for sure. Look, there are those who will say that giving a platform to an anti Semite is against our principles. There are those who will say, well, actually the First Amendment doesn't come with exceptions, so conservative principles dictate that we should not block anybody. Look, we're only 10 months past the censorship industrial complex from the Biden regime. And that was where it was dictated by bureaucrats in the deep state and the D.C. elites. Who gets a platform and who doesn't, including the President of the United States. And so, and here's the other irony in all this is I think something insidious is at play. Because every time someone like Tucker Carlson does something like this, the media rushed to other Republicans to hold them accountable for the actions of another conservative or Republican. And the Republicans, every time, David, take the bait, unfortunately, Kevin Roberts took the bait and then he had to back it up because of pressure. And it's this cross fire of pressure that he's under. The reality is I would rather focus more on not deplatforming dissenting voices, but action. Donald Trump has done more than anyone in history to fight anti Semitism in America by holding elitist universities accountable. And he's brought peace to the Middle east, by the way, in support of Israel. That is real action. And I think action is far more powerful than anybody's words. And any platform that a hostile anti Semite might leverage and exploit. Well, I agree with you. I'm sorry, real quick as a follow up, guys, I agree with you obviously with President Trump and the anti Semitism stuff, but that's not really what we're talking about in terms of Tucker Carlson. I mean, on Tucker Carlson, no one's saying that he should not have Fuentes on the show. You can have Fuentes on the show. I'm all for free speech. I'm not saying deep platform. The guy. That's not what I'm saying at all. Have him on your show and then maybe, oh, I don't know, ask a few tough questions. He didn't ask one. He didn't ask one. And when you, when you're Tucker Carlson, the problem is he's not Joe Schmo. That's the problem. Here, Mark, he's Tucker Carlson and his words matter and his silence matters. And when you're not going to challenge Nick Fuentes on all of the hateful stuff that he has said, put him on. I'm not saying don't put him on. That's not what I'm saying. But you got to challenge him and he didn't do it. And that gives rise to people like that. Right. Response to that criticism was buzz off. This is my show. Get your own show. I'd like for Nick Fuentes be interviewed by you, David. That would be holding accountability to an anti Semite. Thank you. And in the absence of that accountability, it's incumbent on networks like ours and reporters like us to also question and to also put in those challenges. We will move on to the next thing, though, because we could be on this for the next 30 minutes or so. So, Mark, I really want to turn your attention to Vice President J.D. vance's takeaways on the elections this week. On Tuesday, specifically in a post on X, the Vice President saying that it's, quote, idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states, referring to Democrat victories in New Jersey, New York City also, well, Virginia's not necessarily Democratic anymore. He ultimately outlined several steps that the GOP needs to take to maintain momentum in the coming years, including boosting voter registration, focusing on the economy at home, and then, of course, ending divisive infighting. Like what we were just talking about. Your thoughts on what the Vice President had to say and what is the path forward, specifically looking forward to next year's midterms? Let's just be honest. That's the big goal. This is a great comment from JD Vance because JD Vance understands intrinsically that winning elections is about addition, not subtraction, that the best way for us to focus is, you know, we can win arguments all day long, but winning elections is about appealing to people on what unites us. What unites us as Americans are really two things that we should focus on. One is restoring our individual liberties, and two is economic populism. We need to continue to support the President and his policies that provides economic opportunity across demographics in America on Election Day. Those MAGA did not turn out. Why? Because Donald Trump wasn't on the ballot. But also because we didn't have a message of economic populism to counter socialists like Mondami or in Virginia and New Jersey, J.D. vance got it right. We've got to appeal to everyone on what you what most commonly unites us, which to me is Economics, let's give opportunity across the board. And Donald Trump's tax cuts, by the way, will do that. But within months, we're going to see GDP at 5%. And the Democrats biggest problem for us is going to be prosperity. But we've got to make sure it's all the way across the board. All right, Mark. Turning our attention now to the Big Apple and the fallout from the election of Zoran Mamdami as mayor. Just hours after that election was called, New York City Fire Department Commissioner Robert Tucker submitted his resignation. The department didn't immediately report his reasoning, but his exit comes as Mamdani correct say he has failed to adequately condemn anti Semitism. Mark, can we expect more of an exodus from New York City? Well, I'll tell you what, any leader in New York City, such as Robert Tucker, who I believe is Jewish, better get out while the getting's good. I think Robert Tucker is a very smart guy and made a great career move because he got out before he could get fired by their virulent anti Semite Mamdani. Look, this guy is going to bring wreckage to New York City. He's going to destroy the culture. In his victory speech, which was very harsh and angry, he appealed to Jews. But I don't think people like Robert Tucker believed it for a minute. Tucker comes from the private sector. He was actually not a firefighter. He's in the security industry. He's returning to the security industry. And looks look hats off to him. He's a smart guy. He got out with really good timing before he's swimming in a toxic cesspool of anti Semitism and DEI and economic calamity. Yeah. Hey, Mark, before we let you go, the shutdown, curious to get your take of how this ends? Do you think it'll end by the time you retire at the age of 94? That's really the question. My prediction is the shutdown will end the day before Thanksgiving because no one in America will be paying attention heading into Thanksgiving Day. And that way, the Democrats just tuck their tail between their legs and hide at what they've done to destroy America over several weeks. Because it's all about blocking Trump and the America first agenda. Absolutely. And by the way, Chuck Schumer helped us design that graphic. We thank you, Chuck. Chuck, for doing that. Chuck Schumer shut down. Thank you, Chuck. Hey, Mark, great to have you as always. Thank you, brother. Thanks, team. Have a great day. Thank you. All right, the tax extension deadline, you know, it may have passed, but for millions of Americans, the real trouble is just beginning. Now I'm all choked up emotionally. Every day you want, you wait. You waiting. What am I trying to say? Only makes things worse. So here's the harsh reality. The IRS can charge a penalty of 5% per month. That's up to 25% of your total tax bill just for not filing. That's an addition to what you already owe. Here's some good news. Q Still to come on American Sunrise, New York City has elected its first anti Zionist mayor. We've talked about mayor Mayor, soon to be Mayor elect Zamdami. By the way, the nation's largest Jewish community is in New York and it's on edge. Why his win is being called a political earthquake and what it could mean for the city's future. Again, that's artilleryteaco.com, premium tea, mission driven and brewed for the brave. It is time now to spill some tea and this cup's coming straight out of New York City. A political earthquake is rocking New York City as the nation's largest Jewish community confronts its first ever anti Zionist mayor. Zoran Mamdami, a self described anti Zionist and longtime supporter of the BDS movement, swept to power this week, and many Jewish New Yorkers say his rise marks a dangerous turn. Rabbis and community leaders warn his rhetoric from defending globalized the Intifada to calling Israel a genocidal state could embolden anti Semitism in the city. Major Jewish organizations including the Anti Defamation League are holding back congratulations instead promising to monitor Mamdani closely. But many see his alliance with far left figures like Jeremy Corbyn and his past praise for activists convicted of supporting Hamas as a clear warning sign. Let's bring in Dr. Gina, David and Terrence for a quick discussion on all of this. Terrence, I will go to you first here. It looks like this is going to be really, really tough for New York. Yeah, it's going to be very difficult. And I think that many of the concerns that our Jewish brothers and sisters in New York have raised are absolutely valid. And I can only imagine some of the angst, if you will, that they're dealing with, knowing that over the next several years they'll have to deal with this sort of leadership, a leadership that has publicly said that it is against the values and it is against the Jewish community. I would be frightened, quite honestly. It wouldn't surprise me if many of those people decide to move out of New York City as a result. David, I want to yield to you though, being that you kind of grew up in a Jewish household and I think that your perspective is going to be even a bit more unique than mine and definitely a bit more informed culturally. I grew up as A New York Jew, I mean, gave my life to Christ in 1988, but I was one of them, if you will, Upper west side, New York Jew. That was me growing up in a reformed Jewish household. In other words, liberals can be. And secular. Secularism ruled the day. And so there are a couple things to note. First of all, Mamdani. In his victory, 100,000 Jewish New Yorkers voted for Mamdani. 100,000. That's a lot. And basically it was 2 million votes total. But that's a lot of New Yorkers. New York, Jewish, Jewish New Yorkers. Excuse me. And a lot of people trying to understand why in the world, if you're Jewish, would you vote for Mamdani? Well, here, it's a very, very simple reason. I understand it clear as day. It's not about Judaism for reformed Jews. It just isn't. They don't know what's in the Old Testament. They don't. And listen, I'm not trying to slam reformed Jews. I grew up as one. I know, okay? They don't know, really. They're just doing the high holy days. They're going through the whole, you know, yada yada thing, but they don't really know what's going on biblically. They just don't. Different with the conservative Jews, different with the Orthodox Jews. And so their, their religion, if you will, let's be honest, is secularism. They're, they, they buy into the socialist, communists, whatever you want to call it. Some. He'll call himself a Democrat socialist. They buy into that. They like that. That's. That's what they want to do. So that's why they vote for someone like Mamdani. Anyhow, there you have it. All right. Still to come on American Sunrise, a tale, a turnaround, and a second chance. Tommy, we love what you're doing. Tell us about this incredible adoption effort and how to the resources rescue is changing lives one little wagging tail at a time. Right, Cobes? Oh, my gosh, that little sweet puppy yours. And so I enjoy so much coming on on Fridays because I get to see that sweet puppy yours. Not only you, Dr. Gina, but that pup is just so darn sweet. Listen, we have a wonderful pup that we're. We're getting adopted today. That's Lily, and she is a smart, active, fun puppy that loves to play. She's about a year and a half old. I'm sorry, not even quite a year old. Oh, look at her. Oh, she's so sweet. And if anybody wants to adopt Lily today, I'm going to pay for all the adoption fees and whatever it takes to get Lily to your front door and be part of your family. And if you scan that QR code right there at the bottom of the screen, you can adopt Lily today. And please, let's find Lily that. That wonderful forever family. Absolutely. Scan that QR code to go home, too. Yes. And Colby whispered in my ear while you were talking, he wants to offer that whoever adopts Lily, we're going to send a care package for Lily of some healthy dog treats and things, too, Tommy. So you'll have to get back with me on how Colby and I can do that, Tommy. Oh, my gosh. Of course, of course. What else? Oh, okay. Colby also wants to know if you'll tell us about pet insurance efforts you're offering and how this is helping new pet owners give these rescues their best start possible. Truly. And not only, you know, rescues, but. But everybody's family pet. And I got a letter this week from a family out of San Antonio, Texas, and they have wood floors, and so many of us have wood floors in our homes, and dogs slip around and their pup, you know, they had for four years, and he slipped and hurt his shoulder. They took him to the vet. And it was sad because the vet that said it's going to be $2,500 to, to do surgery on this pup. And they had to make some important, you know, decisions, but they, of course they had to do it because it's their, their family, part of the furry family, you know. So I spent the last four years developing to the Rescue Pet Care just because of this scenario. And this kind of scenario happens a thousand times a day to families. And so we created to the Rescue Pet Care a pet insurance company. We are a mission based company, you know, one of the only ones in America that's face forward, you know, taking care of our pets and giving back to rescue dogs all over the country. And so not only do you get pet insurance, but one of the important perks that we give you is televet service so you don't have to rush your pet straight to the vet. Whenever you have a question that can cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars, get on the phone, FaceTime that veterinarian, and he'll answer all the questions. And it's completely free with the package. So it's so important to know that you do that. That is so cool. I think I told you. Probably. Our audience knows Colby's big brother, Olaf. He's a six year old rescue pit bull Great Dane and he was diagnosed with lymphoma. And Tommy, the costs for caring for a dog with cancer, lymphoma is almost always fatal. So you can, you're doing the best you can to give them all the comfort measures you can, but it's been traumatic on our family, Tommy, enough trauma without having to worry about how in the world without having to make decisions based on finances. Right? And that's what that pet insurance does. So everybody please go there and click on that QR code and get your pets all insured so that you never have to make decisions based on money. Tommy, thank you. God bless you for everything you're doing. We appreciate you. You're so sweet. Dr. Gina, thank you so much. And we have special discounts too, for veterans, first responders, and anybody part of America's real voice. Of course you do, because you think of everything. Tommy, thank you so much. All right, you guys, war room. Coming up next. Hug your children. Love God. Pet your puppies. Get your pet insurance right there on the QR code. Go boldly now. Have a great weekend.
