This is an iHeart podcast. Just ahead on American Sunrise, peace in the Middle East. President Trump says this deal between Israel and Hamas will bring Middle east peace finally and that the war is over. How will the rest of the negotiations go? We have breaking reaction throughout the show. Plus, the Schumer shutdown is a showdown at this point. It's about to enter its second week. How long could this last? We are headed to the Capitol for insider perspective with Congressmember Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. And a little later, a bittersweet moment. Charlie Kirk set to posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom tonight. We have the details on this honor. So much more as American Sunrise gets started right now.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
David Brody
Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody. I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina. Apparently, it's Taco Tuesday and apparently the guys in the control room are very excited about that notion. Good morning. I'm Dr. Gina. I'm always excited about Taco Tuesday, too. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in David Brody. He's in Washington, D.C. and Terence Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, gentlemen. I got to go to Pennsylvania with one of our amazing J6 team this weekend. Got to meet family. It was so beautiful and the leaves were falling. You don't realize when you live in Florida and you don't ever get to see that. It is such a God thing. It's just so beautiful. And we prayed together and it was just, it was really. And we karaoke.
David Brody
Of course you did.
Dr. Gina
Yes, of course.
David Brody
I was waiting for that. Yes, of course. It was beautiful. Well, Dr. Gina, welcome back. By the way, falling leaves is beautiful until you have to rake them up out of your front lawn. Then they become less correct. Trust me.
Dr. Gina
I remember.
David Brody
Trust me. I'm three, four bags in already here. I'm trying to get ahead of it.
Dr. Gina
That's what kids are for, Terrence. That's why you have them.
David Brody
You know what? There's nothing to be said about that, Dr. Jean, I'm actually with you on that one. A lot of people talking about this Trump Time magazine cover. It is probably the most well deserved cover ever. And they, of course, make him look bad, as you can see here. Dr. Gina, you actually sent us this yesterday and you Called it on President Trump's reaction. You said, he's not gonna be happy with this. And taking the Truth Social. The president, writing Time magazine, wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the worst of all time. They, quote, disappeared my hair and then something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird. I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture and deserves to be called out. What are they doing and why? He asked. Dr. G. And I'm gonna give you first crack at this one because you put this on our radar. About 18 hours ago, you were the first on record here on the show to talk about this.
Dr. Gina
It's so funny because I just, I just know his heart and I just knew he was going to hate that picture. It didn't matter what they said. It didn't matter how much he deserved that cover and how right it was. But I mean, why Time, really, really, you had to make the guy look bald. They knew this was going to upset him. Nobody looks good from that angle. Not one of us looks good from that angle. 20 year olds don't look good from that angle, but especially not a man his age. And I just thought it was, it was a jab. Let's be honest, David, it's a job.
David Brody
Listen, the beauty of President Trump is he's got the DNA of a regular guy, right? He looks at the picture and goes, really? You're kidding me. And then if you look at the timestamp on the Truth Social, it came at as I did the calculation, about 2:15am, 2:30am he's getting back to D.C. he just got back from the Middle East. Oh, he did something like with Israel or Egypt or something like that. That's what I heard. And then he does this and he says, look, I really hate this picture. I mean, this guy, he never sleeps. And it's just like, unbelievable. Fantastic. By the way, on a separate note, the New York Times once did a profile of me. It was above the fold in the New York Times and they took a profile picture of me and my goodness, I'm like, please, not the profile picture. But they did it. But I didn't have Truth Social back then and I wasn't president. Well, I've never been president.
Dr. Gina
I mean.
David Brody
But your hair has always been great.
Dr. Gina
That's true. You've got great hair.
David Brody
I appreciate that.
Dr. Gina
You know, he has great hair for a guy his age, and he is very proud of his hair and he's very particular about it. I knew this wasn't going to go over well. But look, none of us like to be depicted falsely, you know, and it isn't, it isn't right. You Google pictures, I'm sure, of any of the three of us, especially I know, David and I because we've been doing this so long and they pick the worst pictures to give the strongest algorithms. Make sure that they put those up in our, you know, in the places that people are going to see first. It's, it's, we're all used to this, but I love that he calls him out. I just love it.
David Brody
No doubt the other big story happening at the White House, Charlie Kirk is going to be remembered there. He's going to get the, the Medal of Freedom. And of course, today is Charlie Kirk is a national day of remembrance for Charlie Kirk. This FOX News headline really lays it out. Trump plans whirlwind trip to Israel and Egypt before rushing back to White House for, for Charlie Kirk honor. It is a big honor on what would be, I think his 32nd birthday. Is that right? Yeah, 32nd birthday. And Erica, Erica will be there tonight. It'll be in this evening in the East Room. It's going to be a big celebration is what it'll be. Absolutely phenomenal.
Dr. Gina
Love that. Let's check out today's Bible verse because we've got a great guest coming up. Psalm 107, 21, 22. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men. Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and, and declare his works with rejoicing. Let's do it. Let's just rejoice in the Lord in an unusual way all day today. That's going to be my challenge to myself. You can join me if you want. All right. For more, let's bring in Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. This girl, I'm telling you what, this girl, the stuff she's made of, I don't know. I don't know if it's the powerlifting or it's just the good people she hangs around with. Some of them we know pretty well. But she is fearless. Congresswoman, I wanted to first ask you your reaction to the event tonight. We'll get to some of the other stuff. But I do want to ask you your event tonight at the White House honoring our good friend Charlie Kirk. Oh, I think it's wonderful. I think the entire country, whether they knew Charlie personally like I did or didn't even never met him.
David Brody
Maybe never even watched him speak before.
Dr. Gina
People are still mourning our great loss of Charlie Kirk. And no one deserves this award more than Charlie. And we continue to pray for Erica.
David Brody
And her children and everyone at Turning Point usa.
Dr. Gina
It's been a hard road for them, so it'll be a joyous celebration tonight. But still, our hearts definitely grieve. Yeah, no doubt about it. I wanted to get into asking you a little bit about this whole insurance thing because you, not in a clairvoyant way, just in an educated way, are warning your colleagues that with this shutdown, with the moves that they're making, however good they sound, perhaps on the surface, we've got to end Obamacare. We've got to just end it. I want to ask you about the health insurance, how Obamacare plays into this, how evil and awful Obamacare has been because they never talk about that.
David Brody
And.
Dr. Gina
And the warning you have for your Republican colleagues going into the midterms, if they do this the way they're thinking about doing this regarding health care. Thank you, Dr. Gina. This is extremely important. The Democrats passed Obamacare in 2010, and then they made it worse in 2021, extending the tax credits pretty much to everyone. So that means our government, your tax dollars, subsidize health insurance and they pay the health insurance companies on the front end. What that has done is it has destroyed many Americans health insurance premiums. They have skyrocketed, going to about $2,000 a month with deductibles from anywhere from seven to $10,000.
David Brody
And it's not sustainable.
Dr. Gina
It's literally crushing the middle class. I experienced that after Obamacare was passed. My family's health insurance premium went from $800 a month to $2,400 a month. And we had to drop that policy. And it was more than our mortgage. And so here's what, There's a fiscal cliff coming that people just aren't aware of.
David Brody
And it's okay, you can't know everything.
Dr. Gina
These tax credits that the Democrats, Nancy Pelosi, by the way, put in place in 2021, they expire at the end of this year, just in a few months. And health insurance premiums will double for many people starting on January 1, 2026. I think Republicans have to step in and, and take responsibility of leadership. We are in charge. We are supposed to govern this country. And we have to finally do something about Obamacare. And so I've been willing to talk.
David Brody
To anyone and everyone.
Dr. Gina
I have been seeking out the best advice in the country, some great conservative groups on health insurance with solutions and asking questions. But my big warning is we have to take this very seriously because if Republicans are responsible for, for doing nothing about this and regular innocent Americans health insurance premiums double, they're not going to.
David Brody
Be able to pay their rent.
Dr. Gina
They're already getting crushed with the cost of living expenses that the Biden administration created but have not come back down. Food prices have gone up this year. Even the Department of Agriculture put out a report on that in August. And there's many other problems, even potentially that we could see a slowdown in the economy next year and I pray to God not a recession. So this is extremely serious. Dr. Gina Everyone should be talking about it. And here's where I'm upset. Republicans are doing nothing. The House is not in session, which I think is inexcusable. Mike Johnson should be calling us back because we should be working not only on our appropriations, but building an off ramp off of Obamacare for the American.
David Brody
People, opening up a free market for.
Dr. Gina
For all kinds of health care and price transparency. We should be doing committee work and we should be passing President Trump's agenda and executive orders. That's what the House can be doing right now, even though the government is shut down and we're waiting on the Senate to reopen the government.
David Brody
Congresswoman, I have a question about the peace plan. But before I get to that, those comments, CNN hears it. And then all of a sudden I see you on CNN in the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and, and the next thing I know, I'm on the floor looking for smelling salts because I have to be revived. What has that been? What is that?
Dr. Gina
J.D. vance goes on CNN, Marco Rubio goes on CNN. Everyone goes on CNN. It's important to tell the Republican side and raise those issues on the left wing media.
David Brody
For sure. I do want to ask that. I agree with you. And I, by the way, I've been actually back in the day I was a CNN contributor. We need to have voices conserv on those platforms. Absolutely. Hey, I want to get to the peace plan in the Middle East. Of course, he is the president touting phase one of this peace deal. He says it's now bringing peace to the Middle East. So take a look at this real quick. This is the day that people across the region and around the world have been working, striving, hoping and praying for. They have done things over the last month that I think were really unthinkable. Nobody thought this could happen. With the historic agreement we've just signed, those prayers of millions have finally Been answered. As you know, the hostages have been returned and further work goes on having to do with the, sadly to say, bodies together. We've achieved what everybody said was impossible. At long last, we have peace in the Middle East. And it's a very simple expression, peace in the Middle east. And we've heard it for many years, but nobody thought it could ever get there. And now we're there. So, Congresswoman, the President got buy in from all these Arab leaders. That obviously was the key here. But going forward, I mean, the President's peace plan has calls for him to be the chairman of a new international body called the Board of Peace. He plans to develop a new international stabilization force to immediately deploy in Gaza with US assistance. And now we have these 200 US troops over in Israel helping to monitor the ceasefire deal and help with logistics. So are you supportive of these moves? I mean, this seems a bit. This doesn't feel maga. What's your sense?
Dr. Gina
Well, first of all, I praise God in the name of Jesus that President Trump has been so tenacious on working towards world peace. And we have to just thank Donald.
David Brody
Trump for his efforts there.
Dr. Gina
You know, you know where I stand unapologetically, I'm America first to the point where I'm, I'm, at this point, I'm America only. I would love to see our great.
David Brody
President that we have.
Dr. Gina
I've supported the man for years, worked my tail off and spent millions of.
David Brody
Dollars to get him reelected.
Dr. Gina
I would love to see him in the White House telling the world, you know, world, I've got to, I've got to work on America right now because we have serious problems. My heart goes out to all the countries in the world and the Middle east and everyone. And I pray for peace and success for all of them. But what I want to see for America is I want to see us to have really great trade deals so that we can have a strong economy. And I want to see this administration that campaigned on America first, sticking to America first because it's the American people's turn. We need to stop seeing the revolving door in the White House of world leaders. And we need to have the doors open to the American people, for the American people to solve our problems and putting America first.
David Brody
That's where I stand.
Dr. Gina
Amen, sister. Well, we appreciate you coming on the show and talking to us about all this. Stay on that warpath. We're counting on you. A lot of us out there really appreciate what you're doing. Thanks for being here. Thank you, Dr. Chan. Thank you. Everyone, May God bless you. All right, now that phase one of the Israel Hamas peace deal has been carried out, how will phase two shake out? Former Israeli government spokesman here with predictions right after this.
David Brody
This news break is brought to you by amac, association of Mature American Citizen. Foreign music. But no one's dancing in Washington. The government's still shut down. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. We got a lot to unpack. Let's get to T. Bates in Denver first. It's all sponsored by amac. The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can write the course of America. Phase one of the Israel Hamas peace deal is done and President Trump says phase two negotiations are already underway. For more, let's bring in former Israeli government spokesman Ellen Levy Levy to talk more about this. Good morning, sir. Hello. And excellent money to you. So let's start here. I'm going to just jump right into it. How optimistic are you about a lasting ceasefire slash peace between Israel and Hamas? Well, you know, peace is going to depend on Hamas being pressured to do what it doesn't want to do, give up its weapons and demilitarize. We have no doubt in Israel we are fighting an enemy that is pure evil. Hamas would do October 7th all over again if given half a chance. And it's trying to rebuild its war machine. So what we need now is pressure on Hamas from its patrons, from the countries that have been supporting it all along to lay down its arms and to allow the destruction of its tunnels so that the Middle east can really move forward towards the future of peace that President Trump has been talking about and that Hamas cannot drag us back into another war. Israelis are tired of war. They want this to be the last Gaza war. We don't want an ex Gaza war. So to your point, laying down weapons, I don't think any reasonable person thinks that Hamas is willing to do that. And then there's the ideological war that's probably going to take generations to end. It's not something that you just do with an agreement. Hamas doesn't want to lay down its arms. But you know what else Hamas didn't want to do? Give up the hostages. But thanks to amazing American leadership, we saw the standing ovation, really the hero's welcome that President Trump received in the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament yesterday. Thanks to that American leadership, Hamas was forced to give up the hostages. And now Hamas needs to be forced to demilitarize because if it doesn't do that, Israel will have no choice but to finish the job so that Hamas cannot invade again, take more hostages and commit those satanic atrocities like it did on October 7th. Israel wants to give the diplomatic option a path to give it a chance. And thanks to real American leadership from President Trump, there's a plan to do that. That plan needs to be implemented in full 20 seconds. How important is the Arab and Muslim world in pushing Hamas to truly seeing this agreement through? The Arab world is absolutely critical. Hamas is not just Israel's problem. It's a thorn in the side for the whole region and countries like Qatar and Turkey that were cheering on Hamas every step of the way in the war. They need to pressure Hamas now to demilitarize so we can have that permanent peace President Trump wants and they can't drag us into another war. Elon Levy, we'll have to leave the conversation there. We appreciate you joining us, appreciate your insight. All right, folks, let's get a quick check of your forecast now. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by. Tracy, good to see you. Good Tuesday morning to you. Hey, good Tuesday morning.
Dr. Gina
You know, it was a busy weekend across the Northeast. Now that coastal low is pushing farther.
David Brody
Away from the coast, but out west.
Dr. Gina
We'Re talking about another low pressure center working on shore and it's bringing some very active weather to LA and all.
David Brody
The way up to San Francisco.
Dr. Gina
So we're talking hefty amounts of moisture, a good amount of snow and severe thunderstorms. So we haven't had a severe thunderstorm watch for the LA Metro area since 2008, but they are currently this morning under a severe thunderstorm watch. So we are going to have a.
David Brody
Lot of activity and flash flooding going.
Dr. Gina
To be a big concern for the area. If you remember, earlier in the year around the LA metro, they dealt with some major wildfires and now those burn scars are susceptible to landslides and flooding.
David Brody
Across the rest of the nation.
Dr. Gina
We're still very warm across the south central Dallas, 90 degrees, but we're starting to cool down across the northern tier of the country.
David Brody
So, Terrence, that's what's going on from coast to coast. Thanks so much, Tracy. We'll talk to you next hour. Up next, though, President Trump threatening more tariffs against China. So how is this playing on the world stage? We'll analyze next. St. Louis, Missouri if I were Gina, I'd be saying they've got the best pizza in America. But I'm not Gina and they don't. I'm from New York. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. We know who has the best pizza in America. Please get in the chat on YouTube. Let us know. All right. After getting phase one of the peace deal between Israel and Hamas done, President Trump said that the war is now over and the rebuilding can begin. Take a look. These are great leaders. After years of suffering and bloodshed, the war in Gaza is over. Humanitarian aid is now pouring in, including hundreds of truckloads of food, medical equipment and other supplies, much of it paid for by people in this room. Civilians are returning to their homes. The hostages are reuniting. I mean, it's beautiful. I'm just watching it backstage. The level of love and sorrow. I've never seen anything like it. It's amazing when you see, they haven't seen their mother, their father, they haven't seen them in such a long time. And they lived in a tunnel, very little tunnel, very deep. And the level of love is just incredible. It's a beautiful thing to see. In one sense, it's so horrible that it could have taken place. But in another sense, it's so beautiful to see. A new and beautiful day is rising and now the rebuilding begins. The rebuilding is maybe going to be the easiest part. I think we've done a lot of the hardest part because the rest comes together. We all know how to rebuild and we know how to build better than anybody in the world. All right, well, for insight, let's bring in the founder of the Defense of Democracies. That would be Cliff May. Cliff, good to have you here on the show. So phase two now begins. You wonder how this is going to be pulled off. Hamas has said they're not going to disarm. So I'm curious about that. I'm also curious about what is Qatar getting here? I mean, is this a quid pro quo situation? I mean, they have received an executive order, in essence backing them militarily if we need to. And now we know about this, these buildings, now we won't call it a base, but buildings that are being constructed in Idaho to handle training and maintenance for their pilots. Help me through the Qatar angle. But also what about phase two and how you see this planning are playing out? Good morning. Good morning, David. Good to see you. Listen, phase two is going to be very challenging. I give enormous credit to President Trump because he brought about, he brought about the end of a terrible two year battle. He did it very cleverly. Happy to discuss all the ways he did, did that. The maneuvers he made that others wouldn't make, that's really important. But what we're seeing right now on the streets of Gaza, we're seeing Hamas. Now, suddenly, they're not disguised as civilians. They're wearing their uniforms again, they're carrying their weapons, light weapons, AK47s, that sort of thing. And by the way, and this is not getting much attention in, in much in the major media, they are summarily executing in the streets, on telephone cameras that we're seeing this happen, their opponents, their rivals and their dissidents. That's what they're doing. They're saying, we're back in, in charge. And I want you to understand that. So even if the people of Gaza think, wouldn't it be wonderful to have peaceful coexistence, they are still ruled by Hamas. There will be no elections. I don't believe they haven't had an election since 2006. And taking their weapons away will not be easy. I don't think the Israelis want to go in and do that. I don't know who else is going to do that. So that gets us to the second part of your question. This came about very much because President Trump is smart enough to say, okay, if I'm going to have a plan, I need behind me, for sure. Egypt for sure. Jordan, absolutely. The Saudis, the Emiratis, but also the Qataris and the Turks. Why the Qataris and the Turks? Because they have been supporters and funders of Hamas for years and years, and he made it clear to them that they needed to be on board for this. Now, it helped, actually, and kind of ironically, was the fact that the Israelis bombed the headquarters of Hamas in Qatar, in the capital in Doha. They didn't hit their targets. Everyone thought it was a failure, but it concentrated the attention of the Hamas leaders in that city. They recognized they were in danger. And the Qatari leaders said, too, I didn't know Israel was going to hit me. I thought they saw us as honest brokers, which they have never been. President Trump went to them and said, look, I can see to it that you won't get hit again by the Israelis. I can do that and I can do a lot of things to make sure you're not hit by anybody. I'll protect you. I'll be a good friend to you, but you're going to be on board with me on this. You're going to tell Hamas they have no choice. They are going to release those hostages, including American hostages. That should have been said to the Qatari leaders a couple of years ago. It should have been said by the Biden administration, but it wasn't but this is what happened now, how much pressure Qatar and Turkey will put on Hamas to lay down their weapons. I got to tell you, David, I'm a little bit skeptical.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Well, this morning Democrats are actually taking credit for the release of the hostages, which is pretty much nothing short of amazing. Cliff, new developments coming out of the war between Russia and Ukraine. President Trump is reportedly considering sending Tomahawks to Ukraine if Russia keeps the war going. He's also reportedly weighing speaking to Putin first before that decision is made. Cliff, what are your thoughts on where this goes? I mean, if he could pull off really true peace between Russia and Ukraine, that would be just next level. I don't even know what to think of that possibility.
David Brody
Yeah, also very challenging. Also, I understand Zelenskyy is coming to town to see, to see Trump. I think I've been invited to the embassy to talk with him, among some other people as well. Look, what I, what, what I think has been reinforced for President Trump is the concept of peace through strength. It's not a choice between diplomacy and military force. You need military force for diplomacy to work. That's the only way it happens. Certainly long range missiles, Tomahawks among them. There are other long range missiles that could be supplied. Maybe some that are even better are very important because there's no way to end this war so long as the, the Russian troops know that they're safe until they cross the border into Ukraine. The long range missiles will allow Zelensky, will allow the Ukrainians to hit military targets, not civilian targets every day. Putin is hitting civilian targets in Ukraine every day, but military targets inside Russia. It has to become for Putin clear that the costs of this war are not worth the benefits. At that point he might say, okay, let's see if we can figure something out where. And I think realistically he holds on to the lands he's conquered. That's like roughly 20% of the country, mostly the eastern part, obviously Crimea, which he took in 2014, a land bridge maybe. Again, nobody recognizes that, but it doesn't change hands so long as Putin is alive. But he stops the war to conquer and subjugate Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, to deprive them of their independence and of their freedom, to make them kowtow to him, the czar in the Kremlin. That requires force and it's going to require heavier sanctions on the Russian economy and it's going to require missiles, which again, you know, I don't think Trump is wrong. We can sell to NATO. Very good for American workers. We want to expand our defense industrial base and then they transfer those weapons to Ukraine to defend themselves and against against Putin and make it clear to Putin that Ukraine is not going to be conquered by him. Yeah. Yet another version of peace through strength. Another version of peace strength. That's right. And those Tomahawks could hit those energy infrastructure facilities in Russia, which they're going to need to do. Cliff, got to run. Really appreciate your time. Thank you, sir. Anytime. Thanks, Cliff.
Dr. Gina
Thanks for.
David Brody
Thanks, guys. All right. Coming up, so a nice cold bottle of water is water is always enjoyable on a hot day. There are some health risks involved. We're going to take a deeper dive into the danger of microplastics when American Sunrise return. All right.
Dr. Gina
Well, I think there's a Columbia in just about every state, but here is Columbia, Maryland. I know Columbia, Missouri, but that's not it. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thanks for joining us this morning. It's time now for today's health news sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope. Today, in a story we wanted to expand. Last week we reported on the dangers of bottled water because the bottled water containing the dangerous levels of microplastic that lodge in vital organs and raise your cancer risk. Today, we want to take a little bit of a deeper dive. Bottled water could contain some dangerous levels of microplastics, which can reportedly increase your risk of cancer. Researchers in Canada found that people consume between 39,000 to 52,000 microplastic particles per year. And people who drink bottled water regularly take in up to 90,000 more of those particles each year. They cite these issues can bring with them respiratory and reproductive issues, but researchers say the full long term side effects are poorly understood due to a lack of standardized testing. Maybe some of that will change during this administration. To further expand on this, let's bring in the CEO of the wellness company, Peter Gillooli. Peter Microplastics have been a topic in the news for years. They've been discovered in our blood, in our liver, lungs, even our brains. And I guess we'll continue to see a staggering number of microplastic injuries and studies that estimate the average person consumes between 39,000 and 52,000 plastic particles each year through food and water and up to 121,000 when exposure, exposure to air is included. So how big of a problem is this and how can we prevent this?
David Brody
It's a major problem, Gina, and if you think about it, it's like eating a credit card worth of plastic every single year. And yes, there's been sporadic research about it. There's been no large federally funded trials. But legitimate institutions around the United States have done research on microplastics. On the other hand, we've seen many chemical companies, surprise, surprise, come out and fund research against microplastics. The problem, I think, is much bigger than we know and we've heard for years and years and years, since we were practically children, about the problem of plastics in the environment because animals eat them. But only recently did we ever stop to think about how much plastics we're actually consuming. To your point, whether it's from bottled water, whether it's from nonstick frying pans, plastic cutting boards, black containers that they serve delivery food in that you reheated up, all of these things are sources of microplastics, and we're probably consuming it every single day.
Dr. Gina
What are the medical conditions linked to the presence of microplastics in the body? And I guess, more importantly, Peter, how can people tell if maybe they have too much and they need to actually do something about it?
David Brody
So right now they're actually starting to develop microplastic tests, both blood and urine tests to actually see the levels of microplastics in your body. The symptoms are many. They can be neurological, gastroenterological, so affecting your GI tract. One of the most pronounced and researched issues that microplastics have caused is reproductive. Microplastics are well known endocrine disruptors. They especially affect the female reproductive organs, but as well as males. And that's really a concern, especially as we have noticed over the past ten years strange things happening to children. They're entering puberty earlier. I don't think it's all a coincidence, Gina. I think that all these contaminants in our environment are really starting to affect people's hormones in unnatural ways.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I agree with you and the use of soy in everything. We were at some place yesterday, we were going to grab a burger, and the waitress whispered to me, I couldn't believe this. She goes, there's soy in that burger. I'm like, well, then forget it, because why would they put that in a burger? You know, I really try to avoid it. And soy is one of the things that is also a hormone disruptor, as you mentioned, and that's why I brought that up. But one of the things the average American can do. I know I got rid of my Teflon pans a long time ago. I don't drink water out of plastic bottles. I just don't. I drink tea out of a cup all day, every day. But there are things we can do and some of them we're not quite aware of yet. Talk to us about some of that. You mentioned the plastic containers that are a lot, a lot of carry out is cardboard. But what's the best carryout container?
David Brody
So it's less about the carryout and more about what you do with the carryout. So anytime you're using mechanical force on these microplastics, so like for instance, cutting with a knife and fork onto a plastic container, you're breaking up the plastic into very small particles and releasing it. Same with cutting boards. Same with having liquids. In long term exposure of plastics, the liquids over time will leach and absorb some of the plastics from the container. So really you want to eliminate all of those activities and use, you know, use your plate to heat the food, get a cast iron cooking pan. We've invented a microplastic detox product. Dr. McCall has been working on it for months now that actually has research ingredients that can dissolve and degrade microplastics in vitro. So we're hoping to do more research on that next year and actually publish some articles about the effects. And we think that there's a lot that needs to be done here to really help people rid themselves of microplastics.
Dr. Gina
Because they're everywhere and microwaves exacerbate all of this, do they not?
David Brody
Yeah, 100%. Anytime you're heating a plastic, you're making the problem 10 times worse.
Dr. Gina
Peter Gillooly, Enlightening. I bet there's a lot of things we could change to really decrease our ingestion of microplastics and we won't let up on this topic. Thank you so much for joining us today and thanks for all the Wellness Company does.
David Brody
Thanks Gina.
Dr. Gina

Their latest hire sending signals that the company's woke era may finally be coming to an end. Details ahead, when American Sunrise continues.
David Brody
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time to stay awake, not woke. And who's awake today, you ask? Well, it would be the top brass at Disney who apparently realized that being woke and bowing to DEI had gone way too far. And it looks like they have seen the light. Check out this headline from the Daily Mail, which is reporting that Disney is set to hire a white actress to star in its latest reboot after dumping DEI amid woke fury. In fact, the Daily Mail's headline reads specifically, Disney set to hire a white actress to star in its latest reboot. After dumping that DEI amid woe fury. Disney restarting production of the liveaction remake of the movie Tangled, which, by the way, I happen to know by heart because when my kids were young, they watched it several times a day. Actress Scarlett Johansson reportedly being looked at to play Mother Gothel in that film. The production of the live action Tangled was halted after the live action Snow White didn't do so well at the box office. So let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to talk a bit more about this one. Dr. Gina, we'll start with you because your hair is so long and it looks so luscious since you get the Tangled reference there. Your thoughts on this?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, actually, I think my daughter looks like my daughter, my oldest daughter Lyda looks just like that movie, but because she has really long hair. But I'll tell you, I want to believe this tea. I want to believe David. You know, I just, I feel like they're saying this to try to fit in, to try to bring back in some of the money perhaps they've lost because the world has woken up to the wokeness. Right. And I just, it feels insincere to me. I feel like maybe Disney's a little too far gone. I don't know. David Brody, I'm curious your take.
David Brody
Well, a couple of things. First of all, Disney is not saying officially one way or the other whether or not what they're gonna do Here. So we don't know whether or not they're set to hire a white actress, a black actress, a Hispanic actor. But here's the thing. Let's go back to Snow White, right? The whole thing with Snow White and the controversy. We did a lot of stories about that. Well, the numbers are in. It made $205 million worldwide. And you go, wow, 205 million? Yeah, the budget was 270 million. So you do the research. Da, da, da, carry the one. And that's about a minus $65 million that they lost on their woke Snow White. So Disney doesn't care about morals, but they do care about money. And that is what will determine this next move, guys, I believe. Well, I'll just add this. If Scarlett Johansson is going to play Mother Gothel, who of course would be the main character's mother in all of this, then it would seem to make sense that the child, the daughter, the main character would to some degree look like Scarlett Johansson. So that would make sense. I think it would be even weirder if she didn't at least resemble.
Dr. Gina
They don't care.
David Brody
Scarlett Johansson.
Dr. Gina
They don't care.
David Brody
I think you get where I'm going, David, without saying it. You don't think they care?
Dr. Gina
Okay, I'll tell you, I went to. This has nothing to do with Disney. But it does. I went to a Broadway play, Les Mis, and they actually had the dad and the daughter, different races, so they could do their DEI thing. And I just thought, this is hard to do. We look stupid. I don't know. I just. Yeah, I don't think they care, Terrence. I know that makes sense to you and me. It's about that carrying the one, I think that David was talking about earlier.
David Brody
Well, here's the thing. I was never good at math, Dr. Gina, so that's probably why it didn't add up to me. It does not equate. I had to carry the one. I mean, I was struggling myself, by the way. So look, by the way, speaking of Broadway shows, I'm sorry, I had a little squirrel moment there for a second squirrel. Speaking of Broadway shows, I'm going to a Broadway show this weekend. I just want to say that, yes, I'm going to New York with my grandkids and my family. We're going to see Aladdin on Broadway. And yeah, I just want to say we're going p.m. new York. In other words, pre momdani. Because, you know, after November, I ain't gonna set foot in New York. I know. I'm digressing but anyhow, there's my Broadway.
Dr. Gina
I actually don't know that you are digressing, because his whole. The possibility that he could even be elected, David, has everything to do with this GEI Equity baloney that the liberals have glorified to such a point that they're delusional.
David Brody
Maybe he'll be in the movie. I don't know. Maybe Ramdani tangle. I mean, he's going to tangle New York up. That's for sure.
Dr. Gina
That's for sure.
David Brody
Well, I. I hope he's not Flynn Rider. Let's just put it that way. Wait, Flynn. Flynn Rider. He's this. He's the protagonist. Okay. All right. Oh, is he. Is he the evil guy? Is he the evil. No, he's. He's the boyfriend who kind of rescues Tangled and. And they go off. He starts eagle and becomes good. Come on, you guys. You guys are gonna have to really get up on your tangled knowledge. Like I said, I watched it for probably a good year, at least three times a day. Like, my kids knew that movie inside out, and it was on our TV every day. Sorry. Like, repeatedly. Oh, I'm too busy watching videos of myself. I'm sorry. I could probably even sing you most of the songs on that. That may be true.
Dr. Gina
Go ahead, we're listening.
David Brody
No, let's not take us out. Let's not do that. I will take us out, but with. Coming up, how the power of faith can heal the wounds in the Middle East. We'll talk about that next here on American Sunrise. And no, I will not be singing. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our moment of faith, which is brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. In focus. Today, how faith leaders can help heal the wounds of war. After two years of bloodshed, hostages are returning, bombs have fallen silent. And a new peace plan led by President Trump is changing the course of faith history, even as the fighting is stopping. The scars remain, though, in Gaza and Israel and quite literally around the world. And that's where faith comes in. From temples to churches to mosques, spiritual leaders are being called on to restore hope, to rebuild trust, and to show the world that God's love doesn't disappear in war, but rises in the ashes. So let's bring in C.L. bryant. He is a pastor filmmaker authority to share how faith leaders can help heal the wounds of war in places like Gaza and why this moment calls for spiritual leadership like never before. Pastor, good to see you, sir. Always good to be with you, Terrence. So I have to say, as I was thinking over this segment, one of the things that comes to mind is that a lot of the forgiveness, a lot of the process of moving forward is incumbent on the Palestinian people and Hamas, who are already in this ideological war and whose faith leaders are practicing a flawed form of Islam. Yes. And the president pointed to the disruption that has been going on in that region of the world for the last 3,000 years. And until we as faith leaders are dedicated to telling the truth about that particular region of the world instead of buying into the politics of it, which of course, we all must applaud the president for what he has done. It is an absolute phenomenal feat. But it reminds you of the strong man of Gaza, Samson. In fact, he was from Gaza, which meant that the Hebrews were there in Gaza 3,000 years ago. When Samson was there, the Philistines that blinded him and robbed him of his strength after deceiving him are now the modern day Palestinians. The Romans called the region Palestine to poke in the eye of the Hebrews there. And so. So the truth has to be laid out by faith leaders and let the political spectators and spectrum take care of that. But there's a certain truth that goes all the way back into scripture, the Book of Judges. Matter of fact, when we talk about Samson, and you want to check my result, my figures on that, Samson was from Gaza and Samson was the strong man of Gaza. And so the truth about how all of this came about, I think faith leaders would do a great justice to all of us if in fact, we were to tell the biblical story and the scriptural story of how that all came to be. And while I applaud your biblical references, unfortunately, at the heart of this centuries long war is people turning a blind eye to the biblical truth that you just alluded to. And once you know, if you can't get people to. To internalize that biblical truth, then how can you get them to turn around from their wicked ways? Exactly right. And that has been the challenge of the church over the last 2000 years. 25, 25 years, is to get that truth formulated inside of the character of the individual. And the only way that happens truly is for the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, as we as Christians refer to it, to reside in you. And that's the acceptance of Jesus Christ. Oh my. We could go on for a long time about it. But back to the essence of your question of what must faith leaders do? Faith leaders must continue to lead by faith and understanding that the God that we serve is the God of Abraham or as the president would say, Abram, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And he is still the God that we must, in fact, uphold that banner for. Even though we're talking about three different religions, but we're also looking at the land where those three different religions came from. And so there has to be an engagement in how all of this actually transpired from its inception. And when we go to scripture and when we look at scripture, I think there is a certain conflict that will certain come in, certainly come in. But there will also be a pathway to dialogue and discussion. And if we can bring in dialogue and discussion and discuss our differences as well as the things that makes us alike, I think there is where the healing process truly becomes. And I pray you are right. And I will continue to pray for people across that region. Pastor, it's always good to see you, my friend. God bless you. Terrence, bless you as well. We're going to take a quick break, folks. We're back with more American Sunrise after this.
Dr. Gina
All right. Coming up in the second hour of American Sunrise, peace in the Middle East. Did you ever think you'd hear those words? Yesterday's historic truce agreement went into effect. Will it hold? We have reaction that could be a new path forward between sworn enemies unlike one seen in decades. Those details just ahead. Plus, the Qatari Air Force gets the green light to go build an Air Force based facility on American soil. The response from those not in the know, anger and dissent. In moments, we're going to clear up some confusion about what is actually happening there. Also later, President Trump said to posthumously award Rav family Charlie Kirk the prestigious Medal of Freedom. This evening, President said he would be rushing back to the United States from his trip to the Middle east to attend this ceremony. Those details much more ahead. It's going to be a busy news week. All coming up in the second hour of American Sunrise. We start right now.
David Brody
Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
David Brody
Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This this is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody. I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's go to Dr. G in Wes Palm and T. Bates in our Denver newsroom as we unveil the triple box. Hey, guys. So. So here's the thing. Not to kind of start us off on a depressing note, but it is a realistic note. And, Gina, I was looking at the 20 hostages that were all released yesterday. They were all men, no women. And I think that should tell you everything you need to know about Hamas, about the ideology in the radical Muslim world that those women. And I don't even want to talk about what happened before they were murdered. But the point is, is that it was all men. And it was just something that struck me anyhow. I don't know. But I just think it does need to be pointed out and kind of goes to a bit of the mentality over there, too.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I appreciate you pointing that out. You know, the irony is that it is the women who are so. So often so in America, I mean, liberal women, who unfortunately so often just don't understand the direction their politics, their own politics will put them through if they don't stop not understanding the truth. Right. About what Islamist tendencies do to a country, a culture, and especially to women. I think that it's important to point that out. David Brody. And that hadn't really occurred to me. I don't think, and I think most of us in America, on the MAGA side of things, who are reasonable, normal people, we don't think in terms of man or woman, black or white, what religion you are. We just. We just want the best for America. We just want the best for our families and our children and to be left alone largely after that, with the freedoms that we have to worship God the way we want to. So we want to respect other people. And so it's just. It's so ironic to me that we are where we are. Terrence.
David Brody
No, absolutely. And President Trump, of course, continuing to receive praise for his part in brokering the current ceasefire and peace deal between Israel and Hamas. Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer thanking the commander in chief for securing the release of the Israeli hostages. In the meantime, 47 is back at the White House right now after not only meeting with some of the Israeli hostages and their families, but also for co hosting a regional peace summit in Egypt on Monday while joining other world leaders from across the Middle east and Europe. President Trump was clearly the man of the hour. Egypt's president even taking the opportunity to praise the peacemaker in chief. You are the only one who is able to bring about peace and to achieve peace in this moment. I thank you for support. And what we need to do now is to fixate the ceasefire, make sure that it maintains and sustains that we can deliver all of the remaining bodies of the deceased to their families. This is very important. There's no rest for the weary as President Trump is preparing to meet with yet another world leader today, this time at the White House. After returning home from Egypt early this morning, 47 will host Argentina's President in the Oval Office this afternoon. Trade and tariffs will likely dominate their bilateral talks while heading home overnight. The president talking with reporters on Air Force One about once again focusing on putting America first. One of those agenda items is speaking with Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. pritzker this week. The two continue to face off in court over the deployment of federal troops to Chicago to deal with that city's crime problems. I think he should beg for help because he's running a bad operation and he's letting people be killed in his city because he doesn't want in Chicago. And I love Chicago. Chicago can be a great city again. And very quickly, I would have Chicago cleaned out. The criminals removed. We would remove, remove them. By the way. Today is National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk. President Trump will participate in a Medal of Freedom ceremony at the White House honoring the late Kirk. Today would have been his 32nd birthday. The house of Representatives passed a resolution last month designating today in honor of Kirk. The resolution encourages educational institutions, civic organization organizations and citizens across the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, activities, prayers and ceremonies that promote civic engagement and the principles of faith, liberty and democracy that Charlie Kirk championed. There's also a bill working its way through Congress right now that if passed, would put Charlie's likeness on as many as 400,000 silver dollar coins. However, we're also learning that the Treasury Department doesn't necessarily need congressional approval to put someone's likeness on currency. That means it could happen sooner than later. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast from coast to coast. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony joining us with what to expect. Tracey, I know that the Northeast was dealing with that nor'. Easter. I told you, it's one of my favorite meteorological terms. It seems to me, though, that October is a little early for nor'. Easters. No. Aren't they typically like November, December, early part of the year?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, typically, you know, you associate these coastal systems with heavy snow and extreme low visibility.
David Brody
And we. It's pretty early.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it's warm. You know, we've had a good amount of rain, but we're dealing with it during the high tide cycles and the king tide cycles. So, yes, definitely.
David Brody
It's a fun word to say, Terrence.
Dr. Gina
But yeah, we had some big implications. So winds reported over the last 24 hours up to 62 miles per hour.
David Brody
Across parts of New Jersey.
Dr. Gina
We also have to consider that these winds, those are wind gusts, but we still had steady sustained winds at 20, 30 miles per hour that continued to push onshore waves and high surf. And that's why coastal flooding was so extreme. So we lucked out on the rain side for most of us. But, Terence, it was the coastal flooding that's still going to be a concern.
David Brody
For areas like Cape Cod throughout the day today. All right. Thank you so much for that reporting and I appreciate you allowing me to say Northeastern. Like I said, one of my favorite don't ask me why as many times as you want things. There you go. Thanks, Tracy. We'll talk soon. All right, let's get you over to David now. David, Northeastern. I mean, good morning. Good morning to you, TB. It's all right. President Trump basking in the glowing headlines and praise this morning after striking a peace deal in the Middle East. But now comes phase two. It is not going to be easy at all, obviously. Joining us with the latest on this and so much more, the editor in chief for just the news, that would be John Solomon. John, good morning to you. Good morning. Talk to us here. We've got Hamas who says they're not going to disarm, which doesn't shock anybody. What's going to happen here going forward? This is tough stuff. Yeah. Listen, I think at the end of the day, Hamas will listen to whatever Qatar tells him to do at this point because without Qatar, Hamas doesn't exist. And I think those are the secret weapons that Donald Trump put into place here. I want to just remind people that this is the ultimate execution playbook of what peace through strength looks like. Donald Trump started with military action. He allowed Israel to go on even as the rest of the world was saying, stop Israel. He allowed them to weaken Hamas to a point where they could ultimately be forced into a deal. He struck Iran and took their nuclear weapons off the table, often at criticism, sometimes even on the right about that military. He degraded all of Iran's proxies so that they were impotent in this window. And that brought everybody to the table. And when he wanted to bring people to the table, he built a coalition of the willing. When you looked at who was at that meeting in Egypt, all the Europeans were involved in this, even those who tried to undercut Trump by recognizing the Palestinian state. Before Hamas had made concessions, all of the Arab states were there. Hamas is surrounded by a coalition that will not tolerate deviations and will not support them if they continue to armed conflict. So Trump has the upper hand in this now going forward and the world is aligned around him. And I want to point out one other thing that happened yesterday because Donald Trump is always playing three dimensional chess and he yesterday was already expanding the chessboard, making clear overtures in his various speeches and comments to Iran. Hey, don't be isolated in poor anymore. Make a deal with us and Russia, which is, hey, we're always open for business. When it comes to peace. Donald Trump is on offense and trying to expand the playbook even as others were simply just celebrating the epic accomplishment of yesterday. Now, a lot of work ahead, but that is the state of play that Donald Trump has right now as he gets back to Washington. John, I want to follow up on that last point you just made. There's obviously global enthusiasm about the deal that President Trump was able to achieve in the Middle East. So does that give him some leverage in dealing with some of the other bad actors, if you will, across the world, specifically, as you mentioned, Iran and Russia, specifically Russia and Ukraine. Then, if you will, does he have some extra leverage now after this win in the Middle east to potentially put some more pressure on those other countries to get in line? Yeah, I absolutely think so. And one of the things that was stark about yesterday was that you didn't hear any bad rhetoric out of Iran or Russia. They were very quiet yesterday, very submissive yesterday. Those are the posture of someone who might be mulling making a deal and getting out of this cycle of war in sanctions which has harmed both countries as a result of their aggression. So, and then you see Vladimir Zelensky yesterday, hey, don't forget about me waving his hand. He's coming to Washington on Friday to try to jumpstart the Russia Ukraine talks. I think the table is set if Iran and Russia want to engage on a deal. There've been a lot of backdoor conversations that don't get reported that are moving the ball down the field in little ways, building trust, building ideas. It is very possible that Iran could end up coming back to the table in some form, maybe eventually getting direct access to the U.S. team. And the same thing with Russia. Listen, Russia's been the holdout. There's been great deals on the table for them. Putin just is too stubborn right now. But at some point he might feel like the kid left out on the playing field with no team. And that might lure him into some sort of conversation.
Dr. Gina
John, turning now to the Schumer shutdown, which looks like it will be dragging into another week. Democrats still demanding concessions on health care before they vote to reopen the government. Based on what you're seeing, is there some chance Democrats will break ranks and reopen the government?
David Brody
I don't think so. I think what Mike Johnson said yesterday, this is likely to be the longest shutdown in American history, is probably on course for that. I think the more likely scenario is that Republicans in the House will get wobbly, Senate Republicans get wobbly, and they'll begin to make more concessions. Remember, they already made one or two concessions in trying to get Democrats to the table. I think think Republicans will try to make some form of a concession that if you open the government without, without demands, we will engage on a health care bill as one of the first things that come out and when the Congress reopens. And so I'd be watching for an overture from Republicans, not Democrats. Now the posturing will be, no, no deal, nothing in the clean cr. It's got to be a clean cr. But after the clean cr, we'll let you have a vote or two on your bills and see where we go. I think that that is one thing. The other thing that's going on behind the scenes, Republicans are secretly rewriting Obamacare and trying to come up with some significant fixes to things that have long been a problem to union workers and to others. You see their rates go up year after year after year. So their money is used to pay for uninsured Americans. So I'd be watching for that to be put on the table in the next few days as well. John Solomon, great to have you. And by the way, what's kind of interesting here is by the time they figure out the government shutdown, that November 7th cr deadline will be right here. They'll have like a week. Absolutely. Classic collision in Washington. That's right. Yeah. They solved the government shutdown on November 6th, and then the continuing resolution runs out on November 7th.
Dr. Gina
Great.
David Brody
Just the way we would like to see it. All right, thanks, John. Awesome. Good to have you. Take care, guys. Bye bye. Thanks, John. Back in a moment, everybody. More American Sunrise after the break. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Terence Bates. Always good to have you along for the ride. It's now time to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out George Soros. That feels so good. Here's the headline. New financial records show that mega donors including Soros have poured over $20 million into groups who are backing protests against President Trump's crime crackdown in the nation's capital. At the center of this is Free DC which is a project funded by Community Change and other dark money organizations. They staged demonstrations near the White House opposing President Trump's move to deploy the National Guard and to federalize the city's police force. The president says his goal is restore safety and take back the streets. But these groups are mobilizing to resist. They're training protesters, coordinating demonstrations and even pushing radical tactics like nightly noise protests in order to disrupt the city. You can see some of the protesters being pulled away by law enforcement and National Guard troops here. We'd love to hear what you think about all of this. Go to YouTube, rumble getter, jump in our chat rooms there. Let us know what you are thinking about all of this. Can't wait to hear what you have to say. Coming up though, we are headed down to Wall street for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Also for insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars and cents. That's next here on American Sunrise, New York City. Yes, we are going to take you there for the opening, Bella, up to New York Stock Exchange here in short order. We appreciate you being here with us. I can tell you that pre market trading not looking so hot at the moment. Look at our entire board. Everything is in the red as we speak. Hopefully there will be a rebound here in short order again. We'll take you to the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange here in just a little bit and let you know how things are looking on this opening day of trading or once trading opens on this. What is today? Today Tuesday. All right, let's get you over to David. David, good morning. I'm almost shook in it this morning. David. I can't get it straight. I don't know what day it is. How are you? You've been doing too many Israel stories. Meshugana. All right, you're gonna, you're soon, you're gonna freeze your took us off but all right. I said that the other day to someone. Oh my goodness. We're literally speaking Yiddish here on the show. Which is, I don't know, kind of a weird spot we've gone to. All right, teammates, time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense. I can't believe I said took us on the air. That would be American Early Sunrise Early Edition host. I'm all, I'm all. I don't know, discombobulated. Oh, he's also the guy behind Jake's Take substacks. That'd be Jake Novak. Jake, I said, took us on the air. What do you think of that? Yeah, listen, we need to have a Yiddish. A Yiddish lesson here. Meshuggahna means crazy. Terence, you're not crazy. You're verklempt, meaning you're kind of. You're just out of it. You know, you're all over the place. So. But. But we got three words in tuchus, which means. I think we all know what that means. Verklemp means you're sort of all over the place. And meshugeta means you're crazy. You're not crazy, Terrence. So there we go. All right. Well, there it is. There is our Yiddish Update today at 9:20 or whatever it is. Okay. That's right. Jay, let's break down. What's going on with this rare earths dispute with China. Help me out. And I thought, is the earth rare? I'm sor. That's a separate issue. Go ahead. What's going on with the rare earths dispute here? Yeah, you know, actually, the reason why we're in a sea of red that Terence just showed us with all the stock market is because of us, China, tensions over a lot of things, but it is because of this rare earth thing. Look, we made a deal with China not that long ago for them to continue to give us the rare earths that we need for a lot of big tech items. Lithium, things like that. It's actually not rare. I had a guest on my program this morning explain. It's actually not rare in. It's just that it's hard to get out of the earth. You got to have a good mining operation to do it. There's a lot of it. You just got to work hard to get it. And the US under previous administrations and previous not so smart economic policy allowed for that kind of mining to lapse here in this country. Now the Trump administration's really ramping it up, but it's going to take a while before we can get the output we need. And China had promised to continue giving us a certain amount of supply. They're now playing games with that. That has started this whole trade war talk again. It started on Friday. It picked up again overnight. China and the US Are charging each other more money now to bring their container ships to each other's ports. So that's how they're responding to this right now. The markets don't like that. That's why it's down. And so we'll keep our ears open. Listen, I mean, how many times do we have to say this? China's not our friend. Sorry, Joe Biden, Remember Joe Biden, 2020. China's not our enemy, man. Every time he says man, he thinks it sounds like he sounds cool. They are our enemy. They are our enemy. And this is really serious stuff. And hopefully we'll be able to get this resolved. And he's not being facetious, by the way. That, too. All right. Meanwhile, Paramount's new chief, David Ellison, has been trying to buy CNN's apparent Warner Brothers. He's going, though it seems to have to increase his offer here. Jake, tell us more. Yeah, he's offering $20 a share for Warner Brothers, which is trading around 17 right now. Last time I checked, that's a nice premium because I think $17 a chair is also overpriced. But Warner Brothers wants more. David Zaslav, it's the battle of the two Davids. David Zaslav is a CEO there. He wants more money and he's every right to ask for more. As you know, I've been calling for the end of CNN as we know it. Not just rooting for it, but predicting it for some time. If this deal goes through, that's exactly what's going to happen. Paramount is not going to own CBS News and CNN and all that duplicity. They're going to fold them into each other. And that's what Ellison wants to do. He wants to do a bunch of other things, too. He wants his hands on Warner Brothers studios for other things that they can use. But he's going to have to pay more than 20 bucks a share. And of course, the markets like that, nothing like a good old bidding war to get the markets and investors happy. So watch for that. Well, I'm very anxious to see what the next offer is going to be. But whatever he pays for it, it's more than it's worth. But, you know, that's another discussion. Jake, you said something there that kind of piqued my interest, which had to do with this potential merger. If it happens between CBS and cnn, what would that look like? Do you think that would happen? And I'm just trying to kind of get my mind around something like that. Absolutely. I mean, CBS has a streaming network. CBS News has a streaming network as well. In addition to all of their properties there. There's just no way they're going to keep. They will merge them together. CNN will become a shell of what it already Is it's already, by the way, much reduced from what it was 10, 20 years ago. Anyway, I think CNN will now become the documentary unit. All of this has been planned out for years. CBS and CNN had talked about merging for years and years and years. It just never happened. Now it looks like it might happen, but again, Ellison's going to have to pay a little bit more money for it and we'll see what happens. But maybe if there's a market downturn in the next couple of days or weeks, maybe Zaslav will say, hey, you know that $20 offer, I'll take it now and maybe you'll get it. All right, now don't kill the messenger because I'm going to speak about EVs for a second. We know you are not the biggest fan of EVs, but here's a question. Would you go for how about a hydrogen fuel cell car? Going once, going twice, or do we have a. Are you sold? Let me see. No, I'm not. There's only 61. There's only 61 hydrogen fuel cell stations in the whole country. And GM announced a couple of days ago, yeah, they're gonna scrap that too. They had been looking into this, but this was President George W. Bush's favorite technology of the future. You might remember he was loving the hydrogen cars. And maybe one day, maybe one day. Look, but this is my long way of saying, you know what, it's been more than a hundred years that gasoline has been powering our cars and a lot of other things. But of course, cars in this country, that's a really long run for an energy source. For those of you who know your history, energy sources usually change. The reason why is not any great conspiracy. It's because it's just a really, really good fuel. It's very efficient. It's hard to get out of the ground, by the way, and out of the sea. But once you get it out, it really works really well. I'm not saying I don't want a better technology that comes around that it will be especially cheaper. I'm more interested in a cheaper technology one day. But honestly, it's the king. It's going to be the king for some time until someone comes up with some other space age technology. Somebody will. But it's not EVs and it's not hydrogen. Needs something better than that. Jake Novak, good to see you. By the way, some good news. Over the weekend, the jets lost. That makes them 06. So we are on the on. We are on Track for 01 17. So there's, there's good news and I had potential. I'm still draft eligible. They can pick me with that first pick. David, I'm still, I have not lost my amateur status. You can draft me. I know it's been a long time since I graduated, but I'm ready. How much worse can they do? Seriously? That's my, that's my pitch. They can't lose any with the first, with the first, first pick in the draft they choose. Okay, gotta, gotta go. Draft, draft, gotta go. Sponsored by amac, the stock market. Here it is. The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can write the course of America. The applause is already underway at the New York Stock Exchange which means the markets are going to open here in short order. And we'll get an idea of how things are looking on this Tuesday of trading. Right on cue, there you have it. Etsy is on the podium and the markets are now officially open. As you hear the bell ringing, let's take a look at our board. In general, not really looking so great right now. There's a whole lot of red all up and down the board right now. You can see the major indices, the dow, S P 500 and the NASDAQ are all down. As you heard Jake say. A lot of this very likely having to do with the continuing terror fight between the United States and China. We of course will continue to monitor it for you throughout the day and keep you updated on how things ultimately turn out. Well, folks, if you buy some gold and you can get a free silver coin. That's right. I know you probably can't really see it this well. And then on the other side it says birch gold. So this is what you can get right here. And it's probably worth a pretty little penny anyway. Still to come here on American Sunrise, President Trump getting rare praise on the heels of his historic trip to the Middle east this time from the last person that anyone may have expected. And we'll tell you who it is coming up. First, though, a quick check of our day in history. It was on this date in 1947 that US Air Force Captain Chuck Yeager became the first person to break the sound barrier flying the rocket powered Bell X1 over California at more than 700 miles an hour. Many believe the sound barrier was an impassable physical wall. But Jaeger's flight proved them wrong and ushered in a new era of of aviation. We're back.
Dr. Gina
All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to join our conversation on YouTube. Getter and Rumble. It's time now to take the political pulse of America the beat today. Well, hell may have just frozen over as Hillary Clinton offered some rare praise for the president's efforts to bring peace to the Mideast. In a lengthy interview this weekend with CBS News, Clinton actually commended the administration's efforts and extended praise to Arab leaders involved in the process as well. Here's what she said, a really significant first step.
David Brody
And I really commend President Trump and.
Dr. Gina
His administration as well as Arab leaders in the region for making the commitment.
David Brody
To the 20 point plan and seeing.
Dr. Gina
A path forward for what's often called the day after. Well, boy, all right, Sorry, I bleach. Hamas agreed to some of President Trump's 20 point peace plan, which called for a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and for the release of all remaining hostages. Now, Israel received all 20 living hostages yesterday morning after two years of captivity. They were all men. Terrence and David, we're going to bring you back in. And in Washington D.C. we have David Brody, Terrence Bates in Denver, and the host of AVL Live. That would be Steven Gruber, the one and only. Yeah, I'll get you all in here. I don't know.
David Brody
Steve, you're in trouble. You're Steven, you're in trouble, bro. You're going to the Prince principal's office. And the middle name is coming next.
Dr. Gina
Steve, hell may have frozen over, although I'm seeing Democrats this morning on some. I was flipping around when I got up this morning to some of the legacy media and they were saying, well, you know, Joe Biden freed a lot of hostages, too. So both parties have done their part in hostage freeing. I'll just turn you loose with that one.
David Brody
Well, look, I did see that it's Joe Biden we have to thank for the deal in Gaza and Anthony Blinken, apparently they did all the hard work and they made this happen. I must have been mistaken. Yeah, apparently Hillary Clinton was mistaken and Bill as well. And the people on msnbc, believe it or not, Morning Joe and those folks all went out and said, good job. You know who we haven't heard from? I haven't heard from Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar or some of the others that, you know, were in a rage. And now they've gone completely quiet. They're in a rage about ending the war on Gaza, in a rage with their anti Semitic comments. And now they're just silent. Where have they gone? Where has Rashida Tlaib gone? She's the only Palestinian in Congress I'm aware of. Shouldn't she be celebrating this? Or is this her success, too? You know, it's bizarre to me to watch these people take, you know, back long ago. Anthony Blinken, we were warned about him as being a person who was not good for the United States. That's true. And here's Hillary Clinton, who has attacked Donald Trump every which way from Sunday, giving Donald Trump the credit he deserves. It's Blinken and Biden that have the gall, and I think the word is gall, to actually think that they did this and somehow are responsible for ending the war in Gaza. Please. This is Donald Trump. He pushed this with the Abraham Accords beginning when he went into his first term, early 2017, he began working toward the Abraham Accords, which came together in the late summer and fall of 2020. And he put four Arab nations into normalized relations with Israel. This is an extension of that. And we've seen these countries come together. The wild card continues to be Iran. The wild card continues to Be. Can the peace hold? I don't know. Look, terrorists are going to do what terrorists do. Are we going to hold the peace here? I'm hopeful. I think that Donald Trump has done tremendous work here to get us to this point. And look at what he did. I mean, if you missed it yesterday, folks, live coverage on Real America's voice began at 2:00am Eastern time. Yeah. And then ran all the way through my morning show and all the way through Jake's morning program and into your show. And Donald Trump flies there, meets and greets, does a presentation to the Knesset and then he goes over to Egypt and he's there for the signing. I mean, does the man ever sleep? I mean, Big Macs and Diet Cokes are powering the future, apparently. Seriously. Yeah, that is for sure. And here's the thing. It's such a tour de force, right? Just a personality. And he works the room. I mean, my goodness. And you know, he's authentic when he does it, because he doesn't, he's not beholden to, and I don't mean this in a negative way, but he's not beholden to a strict ideology, in other words. And once again, that doesn't sound exactly right, but you know what I'm trying to say. In other words, he's, he's flexible. He's able to kind of just kind of get the deal done no matter what. And, and the fact that he was there in the Knesset and it was a love fest, and then he goes to Egypt, which quite frankly it was more of a solemn fest, if you will, because you know, they were drag, kicking and screaming, these Arab nations, but he got him there. Sure. And then they come, then they come one by one to greet the peacemaker. I mean, are you kidding me that no one else in this world would be able to do that? And that is not an understatement. It is not an understatement. In fact, that is spot on. This is what war number eight. Azerbaijan, Armenia, I've lost track. Sudan, Rwanda, India, Pakistan, the list goes on and on. The 12 day war between Israel and Iran, it just goes on and on. The relentless pursuit of peace. That's who this president is. Now, having said that, I do think that we have the possibility that we could have some open hostilities with Venezuela and the narco drug terrorist organizations. And I think most Americans support that as well. The idea that destroying drug running boats is somehow, I mean, I've seen the left flipping out about this online on social media, blowing out these drug dealer boats out of the water is somehow a bad thing. I don't think most Americans think it's a bad thing when 100,000Americans will die from overdoses in this country this year from fentanyl and all other things, and you have open air drug dens where people are just spaced out and look like zombies. I think most Americans think, hey, you know what, maybe we should take on the cartels as terrorist organizations. That's the one place that Donald Trump's going to get the green light to be aggressive, to use the tools that we have in our arsenal to stop this from happening, destroy these cartels, but otherwise allies. It's the pursuit of peace, which leaves one card on the table. Obviously, it's a big one, and that is the war between Russia and Ukraine. Can he get it done? Can he help manipulate this? I, look, I don't trust Putin as far as I can throw him. I don't feel much better about Zelensky. I think that they both have motives to keep the war going for different reasons, which makes it a very difficult needle to thread for Donald Trump. But will he continue trying? Of course he will. That's who he is. He wants to bring peace to the region, and maybe it's for a variety of reasons. He likes doing it. He likes getting credit for it. That's fine. He should get credit for it. And absolutely, come this time next year, we should be calling him the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. There simply is no other way around it. There is no other way around it. He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for the efforts that he's put forth to the far corners of this world. To the far corners of this world. And he's gone everywhere, from Africa to Asia to the Middle east, stopping wars. And in a place, I might add this, where the United nations has been an abject failure from from its inception through today. The United nations had two jobs, stop wars and genocide. Have they ever stopped a war that you're aware of? The United nations ever stopped a genocide that you're aware of? None that I'm aware of. Their score is perfectly a perfect record of failure. Donald Trump is doing things the United nations was supposed to do and is incapable of doing because you put. You put rogue nations on the Human Rights Commission and so forth. The United nations, just silly things. You put rogue nations on the Security Council for temporary stays. It's remarkably poor in its concept and worse in its delivery. So Donald Trump, doing what the United nations is incapable of, clearly incapable of doing, delivering peace, prosperity and hope. Hope, hope for a Better day. Steve. I want to turn our attention to the home front really quickly. President Trump's crackdown on crime and left wing violence still being met with resistance from Democratic leaders really across the country. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison comes to mind saying that antifa isn't even a real thing. In case you missed it, here's what he had to say specifically. Because if there really is no antifa as an institution organization that anybody who's associated with antifa, like ideas, you know, couldn't, can be persecuted. All you have to do is say, prove you're not antifa. Well, how can you prove a negative? And suddenly they're just going to be able to use that to justify suppressing speech, arresting people, deploying ice, deploying National Guard, deploying military. So the fact that there is no what is, nobody even knows what it is. To quote my. I know what it is, bruh. Bruh. Come on. Let me give you a number here. I've shared this with you guys over the last few weeks. The National Guard he mentioned there. I want to pick up on that point. Since the 11th of August this year, there have been exactly 13 homicides in the District of Columbia. 13. You annualize that, it brings you down into the mid-70s. We haven't had a year with 75 homicides in D.C. in my entire life. It's usually well over 100, sometimes a crowded 400. So you look at the re the reduction of crime in Washington, D.C. it's undeniable. You look at the reduction in crime in the city of Memphis, Tennessee. It is undeniable. It's also going to happen in New Orleans. It should happen in Chicago. You know, Chicago, the last time I looked, had 1,800 people shot so far this year, 1,800 shot. And they want to tell you, oh, we don't need the National Guard here. We're doing well. You know, crime is down. No, the reporting of crime is down because the city of Chicago is 600 police officers short of what it should be. The city of New York's 1300 police officers short of where it should be. D.C. is down 400 police officers. Because who would want to be a police officer today? So you can get spit on, kicked at, yelled at, punched, called names, doxed so they can come to your house and attack you and your family. Who wants that job? Right?
Dr. Gina
Yeah.
David Brody
So you have less police officers than you should have. We need to make being a police officer great again. And I think that the president from his bully pulpit has the ability. He increased recruiting in the military. I think Donald Trump has the ability to increase recruiting for local police departments as well. It would be a critical thing to do for all of these major cities. And then maybe you wouldn't need the National Guard if these terrible Democrat policies were laid to rest. So you had a full staffing in Boston and Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. If you had a full complication of officers, it'd be different out there.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. Steve, President Trump scheduled to award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously today. Your thoughts on this honor for our fallen Rav family member, about 20 seconds.
David Brody
Well, today would have been his 32nd birthday. Of course. This is Charlie's birthday, October 14th. He would have been 32 today, except that he was murdered in public by a radical left leftist on 10 September. I think it's deserving. Look, he's a guy who stood up for America. He stood up for free speech. He stood up for Jesus Christ. And those things cannot be overlooked as to who he is. I applaud the president for doing this. Too bad we were robbed of Charlie in all the years ahead that he would have done great things, I believe. And in awakening America to the Constitution, to freedom, to our Judeo Christian roots and values. It's due, it's appropriate. It's just sad that we have to do it in this fashion.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, no doubt about it. Steve Gruber, thank you for joining us today.
David Brody
Thank you, Steve.
Dr. Gina
All right, coming up, a pop princess, a political has been and a yacht full of irony. Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau making the headlines for all of the wrong reasons. We're going to show you why. Just ahead is American Sunrise continues.
David Brody
Let's spill some tea. All right.
Dr. Gina
Let's spill some tea. Fueled by Artillery Tea Company, the only America first veteran owned tea brand. Their mission, maximize flavor with whole leaf blends in chemical free teabags. That matters a lot. No junk, just real tea. Here's the tactical advantage. Each bag brews twice. Two times that is. Just go to artilleryteaco.com, use the code Liberty. That'll give you 20% off your first order. That's artillery TV premium tea, mission driven, brewed for the brave. That's you. All right, it's time now to spill some tea. And in the cup today. Did I just whisper? Like Joe Biden, pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau put their romance on full display off the coast of California on a yacht in photos now blowing up all over social media. Perry and Trudeau were spotted sharing a little PDA aboard Perry's yacht, the Caravelle. This is near Santa Barbara. This is last week. The relationship rumors began back in July when the pair were first spotted dining together in Montreal. Dinner, cocktails, and even a little lobster. And yes, security guards standing by as the two thanked the kitchen staff before heading out. Then, just days later, Trudeau turned up at Perry's sold out concert in Canada. For more, let's bring in the rest of the American Sunrise team. I cannot tell you how much I don't care. I do love that classic yacht, though. I am so into classic yachts. You guys. That's like a 60s vintage yacht.
David Brody
I really.
Dr. Gina
I don't like Katie. I wouldn't go aboard. She's too into all the Satan stuff. It's weird. But honestly, I would kill for a tour of that yacht. Not literally, but yeah. Terrence, your thoughts?
David Brody
Well, I guess Justin Trudeau has a lot of time on his hands these days. So he's spending time with Katy Perry, you know. Okay, okay. It's a nothing burger to me. I could. Similar to you, Dr. Gina. I couldn't care less. I'm not so much into the yacht, but he's got a lot of time on his hands, and as long as he stays with her and stays out of public life, then I think Canada and all of us will be a little bit better off for it. David, I'd like to now complete the trifecta of Couldn't care less. Couldn't care less. We're going to be so much trouble. We are going to be in so much trouble. But look, let me just say this. I wish them nothing but happiness. The real question is, is it going to be Justin Perry or Katie Trudeau? I think is really the question. And that's all I have to say about that. Let me say Forrest Gump would say.
Dr. Gina
What is interesting about that? You don't climb up on the flybridge of a vintage yacht that age because it's not easy to do. Like, you're. You're. This is a ladder. This is not like the sexy staircases have to climb up. They wanted to be seen. This was a pronouncement. Right. Of their pda, Right. They wanted the world to see. All right, you guys, let them have it. Yeah, I'll take the yacht. They can have each other. Perfect. Still to come on American Sunrise, Charlie Kirk set to receive the prestigious Medal of Freedom on his birthday from President Trump posthumously today. We have the details when we come back. Stay. Stay with us, please. Okay, you guys, I know you care about this. That Yacht is a 1965 steel motor yacht Caravelle. It's not. They don't know if she owns it or if they rented it for the day. But you know what that means. We could rent it for the day and do the show for it.
David Brody
How much?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I don't know. I'm sure it's cheap. All right. But 1965, I said 60s or 70s. It was right in the middle. I tell you what I love, love old classic boats like that.
David Brody
Anyway. All right.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thank you. We are so happy that you joined us today. It is time now for our Sunnyside up. And in the Panda day, a president's promise and a life well lived. Cut, cut too short and too soon. Later today, President Trump will posthumously award Presidential Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 32nd birthday. It's a powerful tribute to a man who stood for truth, faith, and the next generation. His widow Erica posted on Instagram. Love doesn't ask to be healed. Love asks to be remembered. And today, America remembers as President Trump returns home to honor his friend Terrence. To you.
David Brody
Yeah, it's going to be a big day, obviously, at the White House. Charlie Kirk will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. But even bigger nationwide, as the country is remembering Charlie Kirk, it is obviously a national day of remembrance after he was assassinated here. And there are people who are going to be remembering him, but more importantly, hopefully, people who are going to be honoring him with their good deeds today, not just remembering a life lost, but hopefully honoring a life lived by living it in the best possible American way. David? Yeah, it's going to be a big ceremony in the East Room today or tonight. I should say. Erica will be there. Erica Kirk will be there along with many others. You know, there's not a day that goes by since Charlie was murdered that I don't think about him. And when I say him, I want to be clear what I mean by that. Not just about Charlie and what he stood for, but what came out of that. So, for example, you know, the other day I was on Spotify and I wanted to listen to some praise and worship music. But I love that praise and worship music, Gina, that when you and I were out in Glendale, California, and I just said, you know what? I'm going to see if anybody's made a Spotify list of Charlie Kirk's memorial tribute music. And indeed, someone had. And so all of the songs were there. And it just made me kind of relive some of those moments. When just, you know, you just saw God's presence. So, you know, it's that type of stuff. And I'm that I've been ever since then, I've been listening to that music every single day. And it really has been extremely uplifting.
Dr. Gina
You know, this is more than a medal being presented. This is a statement from our president. There are others I would love to see him do. I would love to see him do. The people who were murdered on January 6th, I think that Ashley Babbitt, Roseanne Boylan, Tina Peters, obviously not murdered, but still sitting in jail. I would love to see a medal of freedom for her while she's in jail. How poetic would that be? I love that the president is thinking along these lines. And it wouldn't surprise me if all three of those people, and perhaps some more, the police officer murdered that day and others that died that day, rather, it wasn't murder died that day. And a lot of our J6ers, I think, deserve those awards as well. So we'll see. Anyway, you guys will all be watching tonight in memory of our friend Charlie and happy birthday to him. War Room is up next. Hug your children, Love God, go boldly live the truth. This is an I Heart podcast.

Greene’s warning:
“My family's health insurance… went from $800 a month to $2,400 a month. And we had to drop that policy... These tax credits... expire at the end of this year... Premiums will double for many people starting on January 1, 2026.” ([08:52])
Solomon predicts a protracted shutdown unless GOP concedes on healthcare votes:

The tone is proudly populist, combative, often lighthearted, sometimes deeply emotional, and consistently aligned with conservative American values. The episode celebrates President Trump’s role as a global peace broker, mourns and honors fallen conservative voice Charlie Kirk, heavily critiques current Democratic policies, and commiserates over the cultural battlegrounds of media and health. For listeners seeking an energetic, unapologetically right-leaning review of politics, world events, and culture, this episode provides both breadth and detail.
