Just ahead on American Sunrise, President Trump's former National Security adviser, John Bolton, indicted for allegedly sharing and keeping classified information. We have reaction throughout the show. Plus, President Trump is meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today. Also slated to meet with Vladimir Putin. Could we soon see an end to that war? Make it number nine later. Another day in the swamp and the government remains closed. Democrats refuse to give up on their health care demands during this Schumer shutdown. Could it go all the way to Thanksgiving? Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne here to give us an update. We have those stories. So much more. American Sunrise, you guys. This Freedom Friday starts right now.
David Brody
Good morning America.
Emily Finn
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.
Emily Finn
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Emily Finn
And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning. I'm still Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. I wanna bring in Emily Finn in West Palm with me. And also David Brody in for David Brody is. Okay. No, Emily is in for David Brody. And I'm bringing in my co host, Terrence Bates from Denver. Terrence, good morning. Good morning, Good morning. Happy Freedom Friday to you. Happy puppy Friday to everyone. Doesn't feel like a Friday to me because I have to, you know, it's one of those weekends where I have to work all weekend.
Terrence Bates
Same, same. I was on my way back to the studio and got a phone call and I was like, okay, all right, I'll make my plans to be here. So. But you know what? It's a blessing to have a job and it's also a blessing to be able to cover all the news that's coming out of Washington D.C. and really around the world. One of the biggest headlines, arguably one of the more concerning headlines involving John Bolton. You teased it just a little while ago. Dr. Gina he's now been indicted on 18 counts. Those counts include sharing government doc or sharing classified documents, also keeping classified information. You probably remember that we were on the air covering his home being raided back in August. And so now the next step, as David and I predicted that there would be charges. And so now we officially have those charges. Dr. Gina this really is a huge developing story. John Bolton of course, argues, oh, this is political retribution, but it's hard to argue retribution when you've got classified documents in your home.
Emily Finn
No, the political retribution was what he did. It's what he did. So he only understands acting politically because that's what he did. He undermined, he was a traitor to President Trump. He undermined the American people's will. And he then spent four years basically going around swimming in the glory of that and taking big paychecks for it. And, you know, now the chickens have come home to roost. Emily.
Jake Novak
It sounds like it. You know, I think there's going to be some more information that comes out about this, but we will be standing by for all of those details.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. And I'm waiting, I'm waiting with bated breath because I'm sure some of the details, Dr. Gina, are going to be pretty juicy. Would you give us our Bible verse, though, please?
Emily Finn
Love to. Today's Bible verse is from Ephesians 3, verses 20 and 21. And actually this is from my favorite, which is Ephesians 3:6 through 21. So I start kind of a little earlier on this, but we don't have time for that because it's a show. But now I talked as much that I could have done it anyway. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us to him be the glory in the church by Jesus Christ to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. I encourage you, look up Ephesians 3:16. You can remember from John 3:16, right? Ephesians 3:16 through verse 21. It's a great blessing and I wish it to all of you. This Friday, President Trump says he will meet with Russian President Putin soon in Hungary. He posted on Truth Social. At the conclusion of the call, we agreed that there will be a meeting of our high level advisers next week. The United States initial meetings will be led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio together with various people to be designated a meeting location is to be determined. President Putin and I will then meet in an agreed upon location, Budapest. Hungry to see if we can bring this inglorious war between Russia and Ukraine to an end. He is still set to meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky today. All right, for more, let's bring in Texas Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne. Congresswoman, these meetings, very high level. If he can pull this off. He already said yesterday in his press conference he wants to end his number nine war as he sees it. How do you see it?
Dr. Gina
Look, I think he's. I've never seen more transparency, by the way, in an administration talking about exactly what they've talked about on the phone, what they're going to be meeting about, when they're going to be meeting, where they're going to be meeting. I think it shows incredible amount of transparency, but I also think it shows this willingness of this president to go after peace deal after peace deal after peace deal. And it's incredible to listen to the Democrats be so critical of this man when he has already been able to achieve eight different peace deals overlooked for the Nobel Peace Prize. But anybody who underestimates him really has another thing coming. And those who, people who think that he's being too flowery with Putin need to understand this is part of negotiating. You don't want to so offend the people that you bring to the table that you're not able to reach a negotiation. But look, I don't think you can trust Putin as far as you can throw him. I know that the president understands that as well. But they are going to come to an. If anybody can come to an agreement and get a peace deal, it's going to be President Trump.
Terrence Bates
Congresswoman, there's probably a fair argument to be made that President Trump can't trust Schumer. Chuck Schumer over in the Senate either in terms of getting a deal done on reopening the government. House Speaker Mike Johnson actually speaking on that very issue with Raz very own John Solomon last night. Here's some of what he had to say.
David Brody
It's the exact same measure that Chuck Schumer himself voted for in March, the continued resolution. He gave an impassioned speech on the floor saying it was so important. And now you have 44 Senate Democrats who are holding it up, refusing to vote for it because they want to shut the government down for political purposes. The why is very simple. Chuck Schumer is afraid that he is going to be the next victim of the rise of Marxism in the Democratic Party. As we all know, a Marxist. Mamdani is likely to be elected mayor of New York City.
Dr. Gina
As shocking as that is, and it.
David Brody
Shocks Chuck Schumer too, because while he is a very leftist progressive politician, he's not fully a communist. And so he's not the flavor of the day. And he is afraid that he's going to get a challenge in his next Senate reelect. And, and that's what this entire charade is about.
Dr. Gina
They have picked a fight with Trump and Republicans so that Chuck Schumer can.
David Brody
Show that he's tough somehow.
Terrence Bates
Congressman, I've got a two part question. One part is via Gina. First of all, do you see any sign of this ending or is this thing going to drag on potentially through November when this continuing resolution would ultimately fund the government? The second question, and this I think is probably the more interesting one, is this shutdown showing us that there is so much inefficiency and that government can continue to work and the people can continue to be served even without some of these agencies open. And it really sets the stage potentially for larger cuts to make our government more efficient.
Dr. Gina
So how long is it going to last? It cannot obviously cannot go on indefinitely. I think that the Democrats right now are playing a game. I think you're going to have the no, you know, no Kings rally, they are working up to that and then they're going to come to the table and negotiate. But I think why we're not feeling it more is because you've got Donald Trump in the administration and his administration is working to make sure that the American public doesn't feel the pain of this. Now they can only do that for so long. There's only so much money that they've got before we actually have to have a budget agreement. But you are seeing this man, you know, in his administration go through hoops to make sure that our troops are getting paid to make sure that, you know, people in our most vulnerable positions, you know, young women who are pregnant who are on WIC benefits, are going to maintain those benefits. And this is because this administration is actually prioritizing those most in need to get those dollars. Now, you know, you also have to think about what is happening with Russ Vote and you know, continuing the doge efforts while, while the, the Senate Democrats continue to keep the government shut down, you're going to see a lot more people, I think, you know, losing jobs in whether or not you're having more agencies that are going to get shut down. But to your point, were these agencies, were these people who were not essential, non essential workers ever really needed? And I think as time goes on, Democrats are going to be very Upset that they've kept the government closed because it's going to cost those folks who most need it. But it's also, I think, showing that Republicans can do their job. Where Republicans pass this out of the House first vote, Senate has now said it. Democrats have now turned it down. Continued to vote 10 times now to keep the government shut down. But the Trump administration is doing its best to make sure that the public doesn't feel the heat of it and does not feel as if the government has shut down. They're doing their job.
Jake Novak
Congresswoman, we do want to get your reaction to this Wall Street Journal headline. It says, trump team plans IRS overhaul to enable pursuit of left leaning groups. The plan they want to probe groups that the admin believes could be funding left wing protests. You know, you just brought up those no Kings protests that are going to be happening all throughout the weekend. What do you think accountability looks like in these probes?
Dr. Gina
Well, look, I have a bill, the Stop Funders act that's looking exactly to do this. It's increasing the reach of the RICO act, which would allow our federal law enforcement to go after these people who are continuously funding, organizing these violent riots. These are not protests. These are violent riots. You're seeing cities that are being burned down. You are seeing ICE detention facilities that are being shot at, including in North Texas where I represent by organizing terrorists in going after their funding source. Going after these organizations is exactly what we need to do. You know, Cash Patel was act, was asked, you know, would this type of enforcement help? And he said absolutely, yes. We've got the means to be able to do it. We've got the backbone now to be able to do it. We've got to be able to find and shut down these people that are continuing to fund terrorist attacks against our law enforcement and against our cities.
Emily Finn
So what is your prediction in terms of midterms? How is it looking to you? What are you hearing? I think as we start to look ahead, we've got to start taking midterms into consideration. And I know that we had MTG on the show earlier in the week. She's warning about possible increased health care costs that could be put back on Republicans if they're not aware of it. What is your take on what's going to happen in the midterms? And if you want to comment on the health care care issue, the Obamacare, sure, sure.
Dr. Gina
On the midterms, I think it's going to depend on what's happening with the economy. I think, you know, again, Republicans have passed this One big beautiful bill, this working families tax cut bill to ensure that businesses and working families can be able to keep more money in their pockets. It had something in it for everyone. I think when people start seeing the effects of that bill which was just passed, the economy is definitely on its way up. You're seeing all sorts of private and foreign investment in the US Economy that will help on, on healthcare. What we have found is as the Affordable Care act was supposed to make health care affordable, it did anything. But you've seen increases by 86% in people's premiums, all while health insurance companies have been able to profit 230% while still denying a third of all claims. You know, health care is one thing, health insurance is not providing health care. But what we are seeing is skyrocket costs that are involved. What we have also seen is the more money that the government pumps into the health care system, the worst outcomes we're getting, the less quality, more, more cost. So I think we need to completely overhaul it. I think just continuing to fund it at the levels is simply putting more money into health insurance companies pockets and taking more money out of family's pockets that need that health care. So I agree that we do. You know, we have a health care crisis now, but what we have seen is the affordable health. You know, the Affordable Care act did anything but help and it actually made it increasingly worse.
Emily Finn
All right, Congressman Beth Van Dyne, thank you so much for being with us today.
Terrence Bates
Thanks Congresswoman.
Dr. Gina

I'm Terrence Bates. As always, we appreciate having you with us. So look, we're following a story that's somewhat flying under the radar, Texas prosecutors are now pursuing the first ever terrorism charges against alleged members of Antifa. The case has to do with the shooting at an ICE detention facility over the summer. All of this, of course, comes after President Trump recently designated Antifa a terrorist organization. We'll have much more on that developing story later on in the show. First though, Dr. Gina standing by with our next guest. And it's all brought to you by our friends over at amac.
David Brody

Now let's bring in the co founder of Moms for Liberty, Tina Daskovich. Tina, tell us more about the event and what we can expect for the remainder of it.
Dr. Gina
We are kicking it off in just a few minutes here in sunny Orlando, Florida. We are so excited to have Florida leaders here today. The Lieutenant Governor will open us up. Florida Jay Collins will have our Attorney General James Utmyer, Dr. Latipo, who just recently removed vaccine mandates for children in schools here in Florida will be here this morning. Also this afternoon we'll have a special message from Ashley Moody. She is our US Senator who couldn't get out of DC because of all the voting going on. And so we're very excited. Tomorrow we have a jam packed day with Benny Johnson and James o', Keefe, tpusa tribute and students for Charlie Kirk. It's really going to be a great event this weekend.
Emily Finn
What would you say, Tina, is the number one issue that moms are hot about right now? Is it still the gender issue or do people feel like now that President Trump is there, some of that has been resolved. What's on their minds and what's on their hearts? As we look ahead to midterms.
Dr. Gina
There is so much still going on in education in America. Only one third of kids can read on grade level. Woke ideologies are still in classrooms across the country. Whole states and school districts are pushing back against President Trump's executive orders to protect girls sports. And there's just so much work to still do on the ground. And then there's new initiatives like AI in education. Moms for Liberty joined the White House task force on that. There's policies that need to be developed to protect children and make sure we are first in education and education in the, in the world.
Emily Finn
What do you hope comes out of this shutdown, Tina, in terms of perhaps, maybe, I don't know, illuminating the fact that the Department of Education, since its inception, rather, has taken us from first in the world to last in the world. Why are we still paying federal bureaucrats to be in our business? Tina, what are you hearing from moms on that?
Dr. Gina
Moms are frustrated with their tax dollars being wasted with bureaucracy that just gets in the way of the things that are important to us. Our children are important to us. We want them well educated. America has the ability to do that. As you just said, we've only declined since the Department of education in 1979 was created. Our reading scores are the lowest they've been since that year. And our math was scores are lower than they've ever been in the history of America. And so we want our tax dollars to be spent locally on our children and have no need for the US Department of Education.
Emily Finn
All right, Tina Deskovich, have a great event. Thanks for your time. Thank you so much. All right, let's send it over to Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony for today's forecast. Good morning, Tracy.
Dr. Gina
Hey, good morning, Gina.
Emily Finn
We are tracking some showers and some.
Dr. Gina
Storm potential over the next.
Emily Finn
All right, girl. We had technical difficulties. Tracey Anthony, thank you for that great effort. We'll be right back, you guys. Coming up, New York mayoral candidate Zoram Mamdani refuses to provide his opinion as to whether Hamas terrorists should give up their weapons. How are New Yorkers reacting? Find out next on American Sunrise.
David Brody

Terrence Bates
Welcome back. My hometown, Chicago, Illinois. Yes, I still claim it. Despite all of its problems, it surely is still a beautiful city and there are very good people in that city including all my aunts and uncles. Anyway, welcome back to American Sunrise everyone. President Trump reportedly planning to move anti terror money from Democratic led states to GOP states. Reuters is reporting that this is all part of a restructuring of a billion dollar program created after 911 states that saw the biggest increase are reportedly Wisconsin, North Carolina and Ohio. Meantime, places who saw the biggest cuts are Illinois, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. those states and those cities even seem to be more likely terror targets. For more, let's bring in former FBI special agent and former Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam. Jonathan, welcome to the show. You're in an undisclosed location. I'm not going to tell everyone your business, but I wish I was there with you. Let's talk a bit more about more about these cuts, if you don't mind. When you hear this sort of news, what immediately comes to your mind?
David Brody
Well, first let me just say one thing about where I'm at. I will say this. I'm in a country where at night after you eat dinner, you can't go for a walk because you would be robbed. So you can't go drink the water. I have to have bottled water everywhere. I am. So think about that and think about what we're facing the United States and who wants to bring this upon the United States, which is socialists, which have ruined where I'm at in many of these places down in central South America. So but let's talk about this defense spending and, or excuse me, this particular spending that we're talking about when it comes to the terrorism. I think if my opinion on this, having worked in the FBI and seen how a lot of this money was spent, I would say that most likely in these larger cities they got vast amounts of money for homeland security, for terrorism, for these types of things. And a lot of that money, like the COVID money was wasted. And I believe that when you look at the reality of what cities and states did not get as much money, those cities and states, many of them people are not just a Commodity. It's also nuclear weapons are there. They have very important training bases and bases where special forces deploy from things that, that terrorist targeters will be looking at to attack. So there are reasons why these, these monies are moved around in particular places at particular times. And if you understand President Trump and you understand the reality of these threats, you're most likely going to also understand that as these states have not gotten what they needed in the past, the states that got too much money were predominantly blue states. And they spent it like they spent everything else frivolously, and it ends up.
Emily Finn
In the coffers of Democrats is how that ends up happening. Ironically. Jonathan, President Trump says he approved CIA action in Venezuela. Take a look.
David Brody
I authorized for two reasons, really. Number one, they have emptied their prisons into the United States of America.
Ben Berkram
They came in through the, well, they came in through the border.
David Brody
They came in because we had an open border policy. And as soon as I heard that.
Terrence Bates
I said a lot of these countries.
David Brody
They'Re not the only country, but they're the worst abuser.
Ben Berkram
And they've entered their, They've, they've allowed.
David Brody
Thousands and thousands of prisoners, mental institution people from mental institutions, insane asylums emptied out into the United States. We're bringing them back.
Terrence Bates
But that's a really bad.
David Brody
And they did it at a level.
Ben Berkram
That probably many, many countries have done.
David Brody
It, but not like Venezuela. They were down and dirty. And the other thing are drugs. We have a lot of drugs coming in from Venezuela.
Emily Finn
What does he expect to find? Jonathan? I mean, is, are they, if they turning CIA loose, are they going to find the person who made the decision, who unlocked the door to the mental institution and ushered the people over the border here? What are they going to find?
David Brody
Well, I think, Dr. G, they're not looking to find a particular person, although I guess that would probably be good as well. But they're looking at the system. So to understand how this happened, how these things occur and how they're carried out, we have to investigate the system that is Venezuela. And when we say that we're allowing the CIA to operate within Venezuela, we're not just talking about within the country using sources and methods. We're talking about from the sky, from the sea. The CIA is synonymous with intelligence. And so gathering intelligence leads to carrying out operations. It's the first and continuing part of any military operation, is that you gather intelligence. And Venezuela, the things that President Trump pointed out, those are after effects or those are the things that they, that that happened because this system exists. And ultimately I Think what they're going to find is that it's socialism and. But it has a structure, and that's what they're going to be looking at to disrupt that structure. And Venezuela, I was down there, excuse me, about 10 years ago, on a protection detail, and it was a disaster, like a socialist country. Free gas, free health care, can't afford toilet paper, can't afford a roof over your house or shoes. So that's the great lie of socialism. And they have led that nation into a disaster that has now poured into the United States, and it has to be stopped.
Jake Novak
Jonathan, we only have a couple minutes left with you here, but we do want to get your reaction to this sound bite. New York City mayoral candidate Zoran Mamdani refuses to answer this question. Should Hamas terrorists lay down their weapons? Take a look at this into one.
Terrence Bates
That'S affordable for each and every New Yorker.
Emily Finn
Okay.
Dr. Gina
And I want to get to that.
Emily Finn
Absolutely.
Dr. Gina
But do you believe that Hamas should.
Emily Finn
Lay down their weapons and leave the leadership in Gaza?
Donna Feduccia
I believe that any future here in.
David Brody
New York City is one that we.
Terrence Bates
Have to make sure that's affordable for all.
Donna Feduccia
And as it pertains to Israel and Palestine, that we have to ensure that there is peace, and that is the.
David Brody
Future that we have to fight for.
Dr. Gina
But you won't say that Hamas should.
Emily Finn
Lay down their arms and give up leadership in Gaza?
Donna Feduccia
I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas and Israel beyond the.
David Brody
Question of justice and safety and the fact that anything has to abide by international law. And that applies to Hamas, that applies.
Terrence Bates
To the Israeli military, applies to anyone.
David Brody
You could ask me about.
Dr. Gina
Okay, one last thought on that. You have said that you would arrest Netanyahu if he came to the United States.
Emily Finn
You've been very outspoken, Jonathan.
Jake Novak
He really needs some more media training on how to dodge questions. What is your reaction to that?
David Brody
Well, he's a psychopath. So psychopaths. And. And you can really. That's not just me calling him names. You can look at the qualities of the psychopath, and you can see them in this individual. He doesn't care whether or not Martha McClellan or anybody hates him or loves him. He just wants control because he's like a predator animal. And many of these politicians and activists, that's the way that they are. This individual is very dangerous. He's. He is trained, and he is trained by people who want and wish destruction on this country. And that is what people have to realize. Everything I've told you about where I am is what he wants to bring and everywhere I've been, that brings destruction to wherever it goes. And Mandami knows this. But that's how you control the masses, not by making them great again. President Trump wants to free the people to be great people like Mandami. They want to enslave people by putting them under oppression. And that's what this lie of socialism is. And that guy is a lot takes in riddles and circles and he smiles, which is very dangerous. He smiles when in fact he is wishing destruction.
Terrence Bates
Jonathan Gilliam, once again proving that bald is beautiful. Always good to talk to you, my friend. Thanks so much for joining us.
David Brody
You gotta be safe.
Terrence Bates
All right, talk to you soon. Coming out. President Trump is set to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today at the White House with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Not necessarily at the White House, but at another location abroad. So what can we expect from both of those meetings? We'll take you to the White House for insight next here on American Sunrise.
David Brody

Looks like a pretty sunny day there. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. It is time now for today's health News sponsored by the Wellness Company and under the microscope today, so many exciting advances in cancer. You guys, I have a dog that has cancer right now. Just ordered something totally brand new. They are claiming it cures it. I'm going to let you know. But could a vaccine really stop cancer in humans? This groundbreaking new vaccine showing promise in stopping the spread of certain cancers. Researchers say they've developed a nanoparticle based vaccine that can prevent melanoma, pancreatic and triple negative breast cancer in mice. The study on these mice showed approximately 88% of them showed they were tumor free, but that depended on the type of cancer in others. The spread was lowered or completely stopped. Now, this vaccine has not gone through human trials yet, so we're waiting to see that. But I want to draw your attention to something. I want to make sure you go and watch it. The Megyn Kelly Interview with an oncologist. If you just put in your Google machine, as my dad used to call it, the Megyn Kelly M, E G Y N Megyn Kelly oncologist. Watch that about this oncologist who says that he has not only the prevention but the cure for cancer in general, not even specific cancers. It is fascinating. He says he can't get in to see President Trump about it. So if anybody can get him in to see President Trump about it, it might be a really good time for that. New administration in Washington, D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality, though, there's only so much the government can do if we really want to make America healthy again. It starts at home with each and every one of us. The same oncologist, by the way, interviewed with Tucker Carlson and, and Megyn Kelly. Not just the cure for cancer, he says, the actual prevention of cancer across the board and can't get in to see President Trump. So I'm hoping that we can talk about it and maybe he will.
Terrence Bates
No, absolutely. The moment you said it, I was like, okay, that's on my list of interviews to go seek out because I'm definitely curious about it.
David Brody
And it's short.
Terrence Bates
Most people. Is it short? Okay, that's cool. Like most people, I'm a little hesitant because in my lifetime, obviously that's been something that we've been taught, oh, there's no cure. But I'm curious to hear it. If he in fact does have the cure and prevention, I'm all ears.
Emily Finn
Yeah. But Terrence, do you know how much pharmaceutical money is in cancer treatment?
Terrence Bates
Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. And I know the pharmaceutical companies don't want us to have a cure, don't want us to have that information. Dr. Gina, stick around because we are going to come back to you. President Trump says that he is going to soon meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Hungary. Posting on Truth Social, the President writing at the conclusion of the call, he of course had a call with with Vladimir Putin yesterday. We agreed that there will be a meeting of our high level advisers next week. The United States initial meetings will be led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio together with various other people to be designated a meeting location is to be determined. President Putin and I will then meet in an agreed upon location, Budapest, Hungary in order to see if we can bring this inglorious war between Russia and Ukraine to an end. President Trump by the way, still set to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today at the White House. Another story we're following though is the indictment of President Trump's former National Security Adviser, John Bolton. Bolton is now facing 18 counts for keeping and sharing classified documents and information. Bolton's home, you may remember, was raided back in August. He also says he is a victim of the Trump Justice Department. For more, let's bring back Dr. Gina. And welcome in RAV Chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn. Brian, there is so much happening there at the White House. I typically would say I would love to be you. Not today because there's way too much to try to keep up with. Brian.
David Brody
Yeah, earlier that meeting with Zelensky was scheduled to around 11 o'. Clock. That has got been pushed to a 1 o', clock, kind of a working lunch. And I think Zelinsky is hoping to be served up a large plate of that mama's meatloaf that you get down at Mar a Lago with the side of tomahawk. Exactly what that conversation will. That is, that is really good stuff there.
Terrence Bates
Get it?
David Brody
But that's what he's playing on. That's what these talks. Yeah, go ahead.
Emily Finn
Sorry, I'm really hungry.
David Brody
But that's what this is about.
Emily Finn
No ketchup on Mary's meatloaf. I'm so sorry, Brian.
David Brody
You talk about you could throw tomahawks in there.
Emily Finn
Go ahead. Yes.
David Brody
No, I agree. Now this conversation is all about the Tomahawk missiles. And of course, just before you mentioned President Trump had that call with Putin, Putin had launched probably one of the largest attacks on Ukraine, launching ballistic missiles and drones. So that came right before he spoke with Trump. But I think what's really interesting is when you think about what helped. Putin has phrased and praised President Trump as achieving peace in the Middle East. And it's something that's been a long time coming. It seems like he's not necessarily the one that's putting the best foot forward to achieving peace with Ukraine with the continuation of launching these missiles. But big meeting today at one o' clock there in the Cabinet Room. It's been moved from the Oval into the Cabinet.
Emily Finn
Brian, you know, every single day I ask you about the shutdown and I ask you if you think this might mean that the TSA might go away. But today I'm going to pivot from talking about food and how much I'd like the TSA to be privatized. And I'm going to ask you about this interview I watched with Megyn Kelly with this oncologist who was also, by the way, interviewed with Tucker Carlson. He says he did meet with Trump in his first term and Trump was very excited about his technology to end cancer, literally end cancer in this country. It would take a lot of guts to go on those two very high profile shows make such claims that you could end cancer, you could prevent cancer if you didn't believe you could. He also says that he talked to President Trump a few months ago. President Trump did want to meet with him. I'm just hoping that that can happen. Are you familiar with this story at all? Bright? I know I'm dropping it on you, but I just found out about it as well. And I'm just wondering, do you, have you heard anything about this? Do you know, can you mention if you happen to see a guy?
David Brody
I haven't heard anything about this, but I will certainly bring it up. And if you remember, maybe two weeks ago he launched kind of initiative to cure cancer, childhood cancer, through the use of AI and all this artificial intelligence and the benefits of using that. So it's certainly on the forefront, I think, of the president's mind. And I did see bits and I saw clips from that interview that you're referring to. And it's remarkable and it's life changing, obviously. And I think that's one of the things that really fits the MAHA agenda, without a doubt, 100%.
Terrence Bates
Hey, Brian, just really quickly before we let you go, sorry, Dr. Gina, but you mentioned the Tomahawk missiles and it took a minute. I was thinking Tomahawk state, not Tomahawk missiles, but, but yes, Tomahawk missiles. That's going to be a key part of the conversation today. President Trump, just a couple of weeks ago seemed to be pretty, pretty focused on sending or at least selling Ukraine those Tomahawk missiles. But this morning there's reporting that maybe he's a little bit more hesitant. What are you hearing from the White House in terms of how the White House and how President Trump may ultimately move forward?
David Brody
Two days ago, he mentioned that Terrence in the Oval Office that he was a little reluctant to just send those Tomahawk missiles, saying that we need those missiles as well for inventory. So, so that is the other side of this. But we'll see how it all plays out. That goes down at one o' clock here. Like I said, it's a working lunch. Now. Went from an Oval Office to a working lunch, but we'll find out as those thoughts continue. Of course, President Trump announcing that he will meet with President Putin in the coming weeks in Budapest.
Emily Finn
All right.
Terrence Bates
All right, Brian.
Emily Finn
Thanks, Brian. Have a great weekend.
David Brody
You, too.
Emily Finn
All right. Thanks. All right. Coming up, NBC getting rid of roughly 7% of its news staff. What woke programs were specifically targeted? You're going to find out because we have the answers for you next here on American Sunrise.
Jake Novak
Welcome back to American Sunrise. You drink coffee for energy, but what if your coffee could do more than just wake you up? Rejuvenate Coffee is infused with caakgirl, a powerful compound studied for its ability to boost cellular energy, support metabolism, and promote healthy aging. Instead of the jitters or the crash you get from most coffee, this gives you steady, clean focus that lasts. I drink it because it doesn't just fuel my morning, it fuels my health long term. If you're already drinking coffee, why not drink one that actually works with your body, not against it. Head to 1775 Coffee.com Rav and try rejuvenate Coffee.
Terrence Bates
Now.
Jake Novak
Don't just wake up, rejuvenate. All right. Now that we are caffeinated, it is time to stay awake, not woke. And who is awake today? NBC. The network's news division is slashing about 7% of its staff, cutting around 150 positions. This comes as NBC prepares to spin off from MSNBC and cnbc. The network says these cuts are necessary to strengthen its focus as an independent news entity. Much of the hit is falling on teams who supported cable affiliates as NBC restructures for a new direction. For conservatives watching media, this is just more proof that mainstream lame stream outlets are fragile when pushed to operate without woke partners. Stay tuned. The real question is whether NBC can survive as a competitive, nonpartisan news source after this purge. For discussion, let's bring in Terrence for more. Terrence I don't know. I think the damage has already been done. Do you think that there is any redemption to be had for NBC? I mean, what is the future forward for them, even despite these, these cuts?
Terrence Bates
It's funny, they're calling it a new direction. And one of the things I can tell you, Emily, is that broadcasting in particular and for a large part, news is still a business. I'm a big journalism guy, I'm a big, big J on my chest kind of person. And I do see it as a public service. But I also realize that much of what we do is rooted in profit, is rooted in being a big business. And so any good big business is going to blow with the wind wherever the political winds happen to lean. That's very likely where many of these corporations are ultimately going to go. And so I suspect we'll see some of these organizations who want to call themselves independent news organizations become a bit more conservative simply because that's where we are as a country and because they see that being a cash cow at the moment, once there's a new administration, if that administration happens to be a bit more liberal or a Democrat administration, they'll move back towards the left, follow the money, as Dr. Gina also always says. And the money tends to guide some of these corporations and how they lean politically and how they report politically.
Jake Novak
Yeah, follow money. Absolutely. And, Terrence, just an observation here. People who are saying, you know, even local stations, right. Saying that they are unbiased, you know, just doing the news, there's not a whole lot of money in that anymore. And we're seeing, you know, just a really, a big shift in the media world today. Great, great discussion there, Jaron.
Terrence Bates
No, you're absolutely right. I mean, that's just where we are as an industry. And any reporter who tells you otherwise isn't really paying attention to how the landscape is really coming across. It's a business. And once you realize it's a business and then you still try to keep your journalistic integrity within the framework of that business, that's just the best way to move forward at this point. But it is a business. That's just what it is.
Jake Novak
Very well said, Terrence. All right, before we go to break, we do have a quick programming note from RAV about some must see TV coming up. We will be on the ground tomorrow for the Marines 250th anniversary celebration. Here's a quick preview.
David Brody
For 250 years, they've stormed beaches, broken lines and made history in blood and valor. From the black sands of Iwachima to.
Terrence Bates
The streets of Fallujah, get ready to move.
David Brody
No enemy too strong, no mission too.
Terrence Bates
Hard, no fight too far.
David Brody
This Saturday, Real America's VOICE takes you to the heart of the Marine Corps legend, hosted by Steve Bannon with Ben Berkhweim and Amanda Head on the ground, joined by battle tested veterans and military experts who live the brotherhood of the Corps. Explosive action, raw power, unshakable pride. This is Marine 250 from sea to shore. Coverage begins this Saturday at noon Eastern only on Real america's Voice. Because freedom wasn't given, it was earned.
Jake Novak
The the boys in the control room are telling me to say hoorah right now. Semper Fi. It does look amazing. Remember, you can catch our coverage tomorrow here on rav. Coming up, what does the Bible say about leaders passing the torch to the next generation? Find out and why it matters today just as much as it did thousands of years ago. As American Sunrise continues. Stick around.
Terrence Bates
God bless the US.
David Brody
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. All right.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to AMERICAN Sunrise. It is now time for our moment of faith. It is brought to us by the great folks over at Lee Greenwood. And the God Bless the USA Bible makes a great Christmas gift by the way. In FOCUS today, passing the torch, Godly leadership nation worth defending. Joining us now with biblical insight is one of our very favorite guests, my co author on our new book, Dr. Jim Moseley. He's the author of the Duke of D.C. also and the appropriately titled Discovering Jesus Disciples. And as I said for full disclosure, also in the spirit of an upcoming Christmas, Jim and I just co wrote a new book, the Days of Creation by heart, Teaching Children How God Made the World and shameless plug. It's at 94 I believe on the children's bestselling list right now. So if you go order from Amazon right now, you might prompt us into higher best selling list and we would sure appreciate that. With all of that said, we simply like to refer to him around here as the Bible History Guy. Dr. Jim, welcome back. You know we are so glad to have you and we are I want you to tell us more about the CEO summit happening this week at its Liberty University. This is the 2025 summit I've gone in years past and really you meet the coolest people. But it kind of is strange in people's heads to think why is Liberty University holding a CEO summit? This is really what you do. This is your valiwick. So tell us.
David Brody
Well yeah, and I think the point can be made by something General Michael.
Terrence Bates
Flynn said that stuck with me this week.
David Brody
He said God chose Israel to be.
Terrence Bates
His nation, but when America became a.
David Brody
Nation, we chose God. That's.
Terrence Bates
That's an interesting thought.
David Brody
And when we did that, that was.
Terrence Bates
A covenantal choice to honor God in public life.
David Brody
And, you know, what we're seeing here is learning how the Bible is also.
Terrence Bates
Full of great leadership handoffs.
David Brody
Moses led a people, but he prepared Joshua. Elijah prepared Elisha, Paul mentored Timothy because they all understood. And that's what the conference is about, that if truth isn't passed on, it's lost. Because great leaders don't just make a.
Terrence Bates
Mark, they make successors.
David Brody
You know, Moses told Joshua, be strong, be courageous.
Terrence Bates
The Lord will go before you and never leave you or forsake you, because.
David Brody
He knew his time was ending, so.
Terrence Bates
He was passing leadership on. And that's what we're seeing here at the summit. We see a lot of seasoned leaders.
David Brody
Very accomplished men and women, investing in the next wave of leaders. You know, judges said a generation arose who did not know the Lord or.
Terrence Bates
The works he'd done. Well, you know, that one verse explains why many nations collapse from ancient Israel to modern empires. If the truth isn't taught, then faith fades, freedom dies.
David Brody
So the summit's a call to remember what our fathers knew.
Terrence Bates
Liberty without virtue can't stand. And a nation that chooses God must.
David Brody
Keep on choosing him. Elijah told Israel, how long will you.
Terrence Bates
Just go and keep limping between two opinions?
David Brody
Well, it's a question we have to answer. Every generation does. So when a Covenant leader stands for.
Terrence Bates
Truth in the public square, that's leadership. And we actually, we see that here at Liberty University.
David Brody
I've got to say, you know, our provost, Dr. Hicks, our president, Dr. Costin, our chancellor, Pastor Falwell. I mean, these are great leaders. Guys like Brian Mentzer and Congressman Dave Bratt, who your audience knows very well because he appears. They're not just mere managers overseeing work.
Terrence Bates
They're true leaders who inspire others to do great work.
David Brody
And that's what the CEO Summit at Liberty is about. Learning to lead again like Joshua, speak like Elijah, and finish like Paul.
Terrence Bates
So you can say, I've fought the good fight.
David Brody
I've finished the race. I've kept the faith. Because when we pass on the torch of truth, darkness never wins.
Emily Finn
Yeah. No, it's really true. I can't help but remember going there with Charlie Kirk when we were establishing the Falkirk, the Christian organization there on campus, and thinking and him talking about how leadership is an absolute. It's not an option In Christianity. We are called to lead, every single one of us. And I think a lot of people don't realize that that's part of a calling. As a Christian.
Terrence Bates
I think we want to use our lives. So the use of our lives outlives our lives.
Emily Finn
Absolutely. Jim Mosley, Dr. Jim Mosley, by the way, sorry. He just got his Ph.D. and I know when you just get your Ph.D. it's really fun to hear. So that's why I, that's why I keep changing the conversation back to that. And congratulations on that. Congratulations on a very successful CEO summit there at Liberty. And congratulations on making the Amazon top selling children's book. We'll hope that our audience can bring it up maybe even a little higher today on that list. Thank you so much, Dr. Jim Bosley.
Terrence Bates
Thank you.
David Brody
You and me both.
Emily Finn
We'll be right back with the second hour of American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stay with us. Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, chaos in the Windy City. Illegal immigrants sparked a full blown riot in Chicago this week after ramming into a Border Patrol suv. The incident led to a dangerous car chase. We have details on that story straight ahead. Plus, former Trump adviser John Bolton indicted prosecutors accusing the Trump ally turned critic of sharing top secret White House files. We have all the details for you later in the hour. Also, new Questions about the J6 investigation. Congressional investigators collected millions of phone records targeting conservatives specifically. We're going to have those facts for you as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now.
David Brody
Good morning America.
Emily Finn
Welcome to American sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.
Emily Finn
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Emily Finn
And I'm Dr. Gina.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this second hour of American Sunrise. I'm Terrence Bates. As always, it's good to have you along for the ride. I'm live here in our Denver newsroom. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and Emily Finn. They are both in our West Palm Studios or the palm beaches, as Dr. Gina likes to say. Ladies, good morning.
Emily Finn
Good morning, Terrence.
Jake Novak
Good morning.
Terrence Bates
So look, there's so much happening right now. I want to get straight to our headlines so that we can get in to our guests in this first half an hour of or the second hour, I guess, if you will, out of Chicago. President Trump will try to take the next step in ending another war today when he hosts Ukrainian President Voldemort Zelensky at the White House. Today's in person talks come just one day after President Trump had a lengthy phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At issue, of course, is a long awaited ceasefire and peace agreement between the two sides. While there have reportedly been agreements to various terms leading to a ceasefire, neither Russia nor Ukraine has been able to take the most critical step and stop the fighting. President Trump has recently shown the willingness, willingness to sell Ukraine long range Tomahawk cruise missiles that could reach deep into Russia. However, it is something that Zelensky will likely talk about during today's meeting. After talking with Vladimir Putin on Thursday though, the president saying, quote, we need Tomahawks for the United States of America, too. We have a lot of them, but we need them. I meant or I mean we can't deplete our country. Stay tuned to Real America's Voice throughout the day for more coverage of the Trump Zelensky meeting. Today. We're hearing that it's now become a lunch work meeting. Former Trump national security adviser turned Trump critic John Bolton charged with storing top secret records at his home. In fact, at the moment, he is at federal court there in Maryland where he is now going to answer to those charges. You may remember the FBI carried out a search warrant at Bolton's home in Maryland back in August. The 18 count indictment alleges that an Iranian hack of Bolton's email account exposed classified and other sensitive material. Bolton calls the charges against him part of an intensive effort by President Trump to intimidate his opponents. Quote, now I have become the latest target in weaponizing the justice system department to charge those he deems to be enemies with charges that were declined before or distort the fact so says bolton. Bolton faces eight counts of transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of retention of national defense information as well. Those amount to 18 counts in the indictment. Federal prosecutors in Texas are pursuing the first terrorism charges targeting Antifa. The case involves the shooting of a police officer at an immigration detention center in Dallas. In all, 10 people are charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses. Of the 10, two are charged with providing support to terrorists for their alleged role in that shooting. Prosecutors say the duo is part of Antifa in an antifa cell that carried out the July 4th attack on an ICE facility there in Alvarado, Texas. By the way, the office officer did survive. The two suspects now charged with antifa related terrorism charges are scheduled to be in court next week where they are expected to also enter a plea of not guilty. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by. Tracy, good morning.
Dr. Gina
Hey, good morning, Terrence.
Jake Novak
We are tracking some showers across the.
Dr. Gina
Great Lakes and the north central tier of the country. But other than that, pretty calm and quiet radar wise. But this system we are going to be talking about through the weekend. So this system is going to continue to sweep across the eastern US and it's going to bring us a chance for severe weather. So I will get back to the lower 48.
Emily Finn
Also want to talk about we've got.
Dr. Gina
Eyes on a cluster of thunderstorms that is making its way into the Caribbean. So we're not done with hurricane season just yet. That's one of our big top headlines that's new there this morning. As this cold front continues to move across the US Temperatures are going to roller coaster and we're talking three days of severe weather. And Terrence, the big thing with the severe weather the next two days is it's going to be an evening threat.
Jake Novak
And that's when it can be the most dangerous.
Terrence Bates
All right. We'll be paying attention and staying tuned. Thanks so much, Tracy. Well, folks, there's a lot of unrest in Chicago and there has been this week. On Wednesday, for instance, two Venezuelan nationals were arrested after ramming a vehicle into a Border Patrol suv. That incident included a dangerous car chase that quickly escalated into a full blown riot with a mob of protesters hurling objects at federal agents. Joining us now from just north of Chicago with the very latest is real America's Voice correspondent Ben Berkram. Ben, good morning to you.
Ben Berkram
Hey, good morning, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
All right. So what can you tell us about this riot and kind of the fallout thereof?
Ben Berkram
Well, that was a Border Patrol response team. They were doing targeted enforcement, going after the worst of the worst, which is what we have. That's what Border Patrol and ice. This is a multi pronged, multi agency approach where they've brought in all of the resources and they're going into some of the worst neighborhoods in Chicago. And when they get there, they're encountering not just the illegals that they're going after, but other illegals in the community who are criminals as well. In this case, it was two Venezuelan criminals. They rammed the car. In fact, I knew some of the Border Patrol agents that were there that have been brought in from all over the country and they had to do what they needed to do to stay safe. The worst part about this entire story is listening to Governor Pritzker afterwards blaming these heroes, these border Patrol agents who are here to assist ICE for having to deploy tear gas as the neighborhood was throwing rocks at them. If you look at the coverage by the mainstream media, WGN here, by the way, who has a terrorist working in their own producing room, who got arrested for throwing rocks at ICE officers as well, if you look at the coverage here, it is.
David Brody
It is.
Ben Berkram
It's not just misinformation, it's outright lies. Their lives, the ICE agents and Border Patrol agents lives are being put on the line every single day to go in and get the worst criminals. And the only reason they're having to do it this way, to go house by house in these communities is because Mayor Johnson and Governor Pritzker released these animals from prison, where they could have handed them over directly to ice, but they chose not to. So if anyone needs to take the blame for this, it's Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, and their sanctuary policies.
Jake Novak
Yeah, absolutely. Ben, you know, we do want to play that clip of from yesterday. You reported on ICE arresting an illegal immigrant who was serving as a police officer. You had a chance to speak to him yesterday. We want to take a look.
Ben Berkram
So they hired you on. You had work authorization.
Terrence Bates
Correct.
Ben Berkram
And you were able to carry a firearm?
David Brody
No.
Ben Berkram
So on duty you could carry a firearm.
David Brody
Instead of Illinois, you need a forward.
Donna Feduccia
And a CCW to carry a weapon.
Ben Berkram
Of duty, but on duty you can.
Terrence Bates
Correct. Wow.
Jake Novak
First of all, Ben, fantastic. Very impressive reporting there. How did this slip through the cracks?
Ben Berkram
That's a great question. So apparently this was news to me. Apparently in Illinois, all you need is work authorization to get a job as a police officer in the agency's city or municipalities across the state. And he says he has work authorization. The problem is he has. He doesn't have immigration status. So from ICE's own information, they say he is a. He had immigration status about 10 years ago that lapsed and he has never restored it. Now he says he's applying for asylum. All of this information is being looked at now. Now he'll have his due process day in court. Every single illegal has that option. They're independent federal judges. So he'll get to see a judge and talk about it. But the big question is, how are law enforcement agencies, not just here in Illinois, but across America, hiring whether they're illegal or not, non citizens. How can you hire a non citizen who most of the time, there's only one case, permanent Resident aliens who can actually get a firearm in America. You're hiring people that cannot have a firearm and you're giving them a firearm. You're hiring people that have not sworn allegiance to our nation and you're having them supposedly uphold the Constitution of the nation. It makes absolutely no sense. But again, in these upside down states where you have law enforcement attacking ice and not working with ice and you're upholding criminals, it's sadly become par for the course.
Emily Finn
Yeah. Well, Ben, before we let you go, we know you'll be hosting at the special Marine250 event this weekend. We're all very excited for that. What can you tell us about the event?
Ben Berkram
Well, look, I finally get to do some good news. You're going to have all these ridiculous no Kings protests across America. And the only reason they get to have no king protests across America is because we don't have a king, thank the Lord. And part of that is because we're a nation of laws. We're a republic. And that republic has been held up and saved countless times over and over and over for the last 250 years by the Marines and by our, all of our branches of military. I get to be out there at Camp Pendleton to celebrate our Marines actually spread some good news. And it'll be an absolute honor. So it'll be all day. We'll be out there, live coverage. Myself, Amanda head, Steve Bannon will have our entire team covering it. It's going to be an amazing, amazing day.
Emily Finn
It will be. Those are some quality hosts right there. Then no queens though. Are they sexist? Why aren't they having any notes? Queens though.
Ben Berkram
No, they love queens. They love queens. You just listen to the left, they love their queens.
Emily Finn
I won't, I won't hold my breath for that. For that no queens protest.
Terrence Bates
All right.
Emily Finn
Thank you so much, Ben.
Ben Berkram
Yeah, no, my pleasure.
Terrence Bates
All right, Ben, appreciate it. And we of course will be watching you tomorrow as we celebrate 250 years of the Marine Corps. Coming up, the though right after the break, we're going to be checking in with the Moms for Liberty Joyful warriors event. Stay with us.

Joining us now to tell us more about the event is REV correspondent Bo Davidson. Bo, good morning. Great to see you. What can you tell us about today's event?
David Brody
Good morning.
Terrence Bates
Good morning, Emily.
David Brody
Yes, I'm here in Orlando at the Joyful Warrior Summit for Moms for Liberty. Moms for Liberty was started in 2021, Emily, by two former school board members.
Terrence Bates
And they realized that there was all kinds of problems in our school system, education, parental rights.
Robin L. Smith
And I think everybody knows when we.
David Brody
Look back at the pandemic, how many things we have learned now that we didn't know then.
Robin L. Smith
But their purpose is to unify, to educate and to empower parents.
David Brody
And I think that's so important now.
Terrence Bates
As we think about, you know, I.
David Brody
Just became a dad not that long ago, Emily, and I've got to start.
Terrence Bates
Thinking about some of these things. But it's not just for moms.
David Brody
I got to say, I came here.
Terrence Bates
Thinking, oh, this is just a mom's.
Robin L. Smith
Event, you know, am I going to.
David Brody
Be out of place?
Terrence Bates
No.
Robin L. Smith
There are dads involved here too.
David Brody
In fact, there's a father's panel with Benny Johnson, with Graham Allen, with Pastor John Amanchukwu, who's very familiar to RAV audiences.
Robin L. Smith
So it's really designed to empower and to educate parents of all sorts to.
David Brody
Get involved and be proactive in their kids lives.
Jake Novak
Absolutely. Bo, I know we talk about your son often. You are such a great dad and I think it's awesome that you're there at the event. I can't wait to hear all the things that you, that you learn about while you're there. What do you think needs to happen to be proactive in your child's life as a new father?
Terrence Bates
Well, to be honest with you, Emily.
David Brody
I'm going to take this opportunity here in Orlando as an educational experience because.
Terrence Bates
When I've come to events like this in the past, I wasn't a parent. And so my mom always used to.
David Brody
Say, you know, when I would be on previous TV shows, if you're talking.
Robin L. Smith
About being a parent and you're not.
David Brody
One, it's a little difficult to do that.
Robin L. Smith
So I'm here actually to learn and.
Terrence Bates
You think about some of the themes.
David Brody
That they're going to be talking about. This is actually important. Emily, screen time, Religious liberty, screen addiction.
Robin L. Smith
Family education, free speech, medical freedom.
David Brody
We know that was a big win in Covid.
Terrence Bates
Religious liberty, rights of parents in the digital age, safe classrooms, healing naturally, Girls sports, man.
David Brody
Girl sports is still a big one that we're talking about.
Terrence Bates
So these are all the themes that are going to be discussed at this particular summit. So I'm here, honestly, Emily, not just.
David Brody
To be a correspondent for Rav, but to learn myself and being a brand new dad.
Jake Novak
That is awesome. Bo. I'm so excited you're there. Can't wait to see everything that happens at the event this weekend. Thank you for joining us.
Terrence Bates
Thanks, Emily.
Jake Novak
All right, coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
Terrence Bates
We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's going to be ringing in about seven minutes or so. We of course, will take you there live as we do every day. In the meantime, I can tell you pre market trading is kind of up and down. As you can see, the Dow is up, but the S&P 500, the NASDAQ are down. Just a couple of other blemishes there on the screen. We'll take it to New York for the opening bell, though and see if there are any changes once trading officially starts for the day. That will happen in about seven minutes or so. First though, let's get you over to Emily Finn. Emily, good morning.
Jake Novak
Good morning, Terrence. Thank you. It is time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense with American Sunrise, early EDITION host and the Guy behind the Jake's take substack, Jake Novak. Jake, thanks for being with us. So the markets caught a different chill yesterday and it's still hanging around today. What's putting a new scare on Wall Street?
Robin L. Smith
You know, Emily, yesterday David and I were joking, I was joking with him about how the big banks, Goldman Sachs, bank of America, they're all doing great. They're doing super fantastic. The midsize to smaller banks, not so much. They revealed yesterday that they have got a lot of bad loans, more than expected bad loans. People who aren't paying back their loans on their books. A couple of banks in particular, Zions Bancorp, Western Alliance Bancorp. If this is ringing a bell to any of you folks, two years ago in 2023, these regional banks caused a big scare in the market. A couple of them even collapsed that ended up getting contained. So yesterday we had a 300 point loss on the Dow, which in percentage points is really not much. It's not even 1%. And it's rebounding this morning because both of those banks I just mentioned, Zions and Western alliance, they're rebounding a little bit this morning. Markets are looking at it, getting a nice rest and saying this is bad but it's not the worst thing in the world. We don't think this is going to spread too much. Something to keep your eye on though, because two years ago we had a sell off for a couple of weeks on these banks not doing well. So I'm going to take a look at it. But for now it seems to be contained.
Jake Novak
So Jake, the budget deficit did something that it hasn't done in forever. Explain that for us.
Robin L. Smith
Yeah, it shrank. We learned overnight, late yesterday that the budget deficit for 2025, fiscal 2025 is over and it went down. Now this had a lot to do with tariffs, the money that is coming into the treasury because of tariffs, also because people are doing better and they're paying more in taxes. So that helped reduce the deficit. Also we had a trade surplus in September of billions, almost $300 billion. Between two and $300 billion. That's a lot. So look, we still have a huge debt, we're still spending too much money, et cetera, et cetera. But you can bet that if this were a Democrat president and the deficit shrank during his year in office, first year in office, there would be a parade in every mainstream news media outlet. So let's be happy about this. This is a good trend and hopefully it will continue.
Jake Novak
So Jake, there's a new milestone for car and truck buyers in America, it's a bit of a sticker shock, isn't it?
Robin L. Smith
Yeah, I'm not happy about this. The average price for a new car or truck, just a new vehicle sale in America, has now hit $50,000. I'm still old enough to remember the Ice Cube song where there's, like, how he makes a rap, really lyric about how, oh, my God, this Guy's buying a $50,000 car. Well, we're all buying $50,000 cars now. My goodness. I don't love this trend, but I want to preempt the mainstream news media because you know they're going to try to do this. They're going to try to blame President Trump and the tariffs for this. No sale. Since the tariffs were announced, the price of new cars and trucks in this country is not up even 1%. It's up 0.7%. So it's not the tariffs doing this. This is a trend that started well before then. Everyone calm down. They're gonna do it anyway. Emily. But it's not the tariffs. But still 50 grand for an average. I don't love it, but what can I say? Keep your old car as well. Maintenance. That's all I can advise you to do.
Emily Finn
Yeah.
Jake Novak
So, Jake, before we let you go here, I do want to let our viewers know that we are getting some images of John Bolton arriving at a federal courthouse today. Want to get your thoughts on what you think we are going to see.
Robin L. Smith
Well, you know, there is a financial aspect to this, isn't it? There are these swamp creatures, these people who are career bureaucrats in office, both Republican and Democrat, who think that they have a right to use classified information that they've been able to see over the years, keep it at their house so they can use it to write a book one day. That's what Bolton's charges are really related to. And I'm really, really tired of this, first of all, because hardly anyone actually reads these books, for one thing. Second of all, honestly, you do not have the right to these documents just because you participated in some of these things. It's as simple as that. That's what public service is all about. It's not about you getting notes for a book or your lecture tour. It's really quite annoying. That's what's going on here. There's a financial aspect to this. Both Republicans and Democrats have been guilty of it for years. I would really like to see the Trump administration put an end to it. And this indictment hopefully will. Hopefully this will send A chilling effect to other folks who want to do this down the line.
Jake Novak
So what do you think the Trump administration should do? Like, what does accountability look like here?
Robin L. Smith
Well, you know, it has to go beyond just the administration telling people not to do this. I mean, I'm sure other administrations have done that. I think it's something in a very Trumpian way. I'd love for him to call out some of these book publishers and say, hey, wait a minute, you guys don't make any money on these books. Where are you getting all this money to give John Bolton and Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris all this money for books that no one is buying and reading? This is money laundering. Donors to these particular politicians and ex politicians somehow make an investment in Random House or Hatchet or one of these other companies. And I think the Trump administration could say, we're gonna look into this and see if this is an illegal campaign donation or illegal form of bribery, and that will stop those publishers from doing this nonsense real fast.
Jake Novak
It's so funny that you brought that up, Jake. I can't believe that Kamala Harris actually wrote a book like, who is buying this? Nobody is buying this at all. Jake, we so appreciate you joining us. Thank you so much.
Robin L. Smith
My pleasure.
Jake Novak
All right, let's head back to Terrence in Denver for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Terrence Bates
We're coming up on the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's going to ring here in just over a minute. I can tell you that pre market trading not looking so hot. Here's a current look at how the stock markets are looking. It looks like the Dow just went back to the green, but just barely. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ are down. Just a couple of other bright spots. It looks like gold and crude oil are up, but silver is down right now. So there's still a lot of work to be done, particularly if you're going to be one of the people investing, investing today. Hopefully it ultimately turns out to be a very good day of investing. But at the moment, not a whole lot to be happy about or excited about. But a lot can change quite literally within seconds. So we'll see exactly how things are ultimately looking once the opening bell rings again. We'll get you here momentarily. The bell should be ringing. Let me look at my Clock. Yeah, we're less than a minute away. And then we'll hear the opening bell ringing. We'll get a get, we'll get a good sense, excuse me, of what the markets are looking like on this final day of trading of the week on this Friday of trading. Let's see if we can't get you there to New York for the opening bell. I don't know who's actually at the podium today. We'll find that out momentarily. But you'll ultimately hear the applause and then you'll hear the opening bell. Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. As promised, the applause is underway. People jumping up and down there in the back, which means that the bell is going to ring here in short order. And then we'll get a good sense of how things are looking on this final day of trading for the week. Hopefully it starts off on a much better note than it is right now. All right, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it. The bell is ringing, which means the markets are now officially open and people are running like crazy getting those first trades in. Here's how things are looking on our big board. The Dow again just in the green, but barely. The S P500 and the NASDAQ are down as is gold. A couple of bright spots there at the bottom. Now, it looks like silver, I think that was and crude oil are up. But this board goes to show you that it very well. Okay, that's gold. That's up. Vix is down. Excuse me. But it goes to show you that trading can be topsy turvy. It can go up and down just like that. We'll continue to monitor it for you, though, throughout the day. Still to come here on American Sunrise, new revelations about what really happened with the January 6th 6th investigation. We're learning now that the Biden era FBI collected millions of lines of phone data from GOP lawmakers. First, though, a quick look at this day in history. Well, it was on this date in 1989 that game three was the world Series was cancelled as the Loma Prieta earthquake struck Northern California just 30 minutes before the game was scheduled to begin at Candlestick Park. That, of course, is in San Francisco. That game was eventually played 10 days later. We're back with more American Sun Sam.
Emily Finn
All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to join our conversation on Getter and Rumble. It is time now to take the political pulse of America the beat. Today, new revelations about the House J6 Committee's secret surveillance operation. Congressional investigators collected an astounding 30 million lines of phone data tracking contacts between conservatives and the Trump White House, all under the banner of the January 6 investigation. Documents reviewed by Just the News show former Rep. Adam Kinzinger turned over that data to the FBI ahead of the 2024 election, data that had been gathered without a warrant using congressional subpoenas. The records were assembled by ex Rep. Denver Riggleman, who served as a staffer on the J6 committee and later advised Hunter Biden's legal team. The FBI memo doesn't say whether the bureau accepted the data, but the scale of the collection and the lack of oversight is raising major civil liberty concerns. Joining us now with reaction is the co host of Cowboy Logic here on Real America's Voice, Donna Feduccia. Good morning, Donna. It is still crazy. I'm sure you and I are both on that surveillance list. It's still crazy how we're learning about what really happened with regard to January 6th. I guess just, I wanna hear your first reaction to this.
Donna Feduccia
It's the, I'm starting to call it the four to five year plan. Dr. Gina all this takes four to five years to come out, just like the Russia collusion hoax and Covid and everything else. Meanwhile, the damage is done. But I'd like to know how many Democrats were on that list. I would say that would be a big goose egg, don't you think? 30 million lines of phone data. By the way, chief said he requested to have the, the, the National Guard there starting on January 3rd. And then you see Pelosi recently also talking about an excoriating reporter who asked her about it. Well, because I think it struck a nerve. But that's another thing. We have this massive dragnet at this point. They did bring in the National Guard, but that was like on January 7th. And they did surround the whole Capitol with fencing and everything else that was there for months. People seem to forget about that. This FBI Arctic Frost as they called it. All it really did was target Republican organizations, Turning Point usa, Trump, Republican attorneys, America First Policy Institute, Save America PAC and other Republican and conservative groups. It's so obvious what's going on. And you know, again, you had this January 6th committee that never even talked about Ashley Babbitt who was murdered right there in cold blood on January 6. Meanwhile, 99.9% of the Jan Sixers were found guilty. I mean, the whole darn thing, Kinzinger saying we used lawful subpoenas while he's crying in between whenever he gets attacked. I call BS on that. The J6 committee again never mentioned Ashley Babbitt or Roseanne Boylan or what's going on with all of the. It was a fed direction because it was a mostly peaceful protest. And what really gets Me too, Dr. Gina, is that you had literally, what, three and a half hours of a protest. That's pretty much it. Three and a half hours. And look at Portland, look at Seattle. This is again going on the four to five year plan and oh, antifa doesn't really exist. Right, Right. Well, as my husband always expect us to believe.
Emily Finn
I know as my husband always says, it's hard to imagine someone went to commit an insurrection with no guns. But apparently, apparently we all did that. And Tulsi Gabbard recently said that she was surveilled and put on the terror watch list just as I was under Operation Quiet Skies. So we have all these operations happening, Donna, that there is not much said about in the news. Not many mainstream media operations are covering them. And if they are, it's very briefly. But this is American citizens being surveilled, being added to terror watch lists, unable to fly, unable to do a lot of things that normal Americans enjoy because of their rights to do them, their constitutional rights, I might add, to do them. This is without any warrants, this is without any arrests. And this is common Americans, many of whom don't even know they were under Operation Quiet Skies. Talk to us about this, Donna.
Donna Feduccia
Well, I know Kelly Meigs was also one of those quad esses. And I mean, he was able to fly, but he pretty much got very uncomfortable. Check when he went through the TSA. But you know who was the pipe bomber too? Dr. Gina, all this stuff is found from the left and it comes out almost immediately. But whenever the right gets asked or asks questions, nothing happens. The whole thing is such a double standard. And what really scares me is at this point, quite honestly, nothing is being done as far as getting rid of the deep state players that did this kind of thing. I mean, Jack Smith was in the Criminal Court of the Hague. All right, he's finally being targeted. But we had Patrick Byrne on months ago talking about the fact that Jack Smith did some nefarious things while at the Criminal Court of the Hague and he was kind of pushed into doing what he did against Trump because they were saying, hey, you know, you gotta work with us. So let's see if that even comes out. But to have people like yourself on a Quiet Skies list and Congress, former congresspeople, I mean, to me, the double standard is getting ridiculous. And after eight or nine months of not really seeing some true convictions at this point is getting a lot of people like myself and I'm sure our RAV viewers a little frustrated.
Emily Finn
Well, time is going to tell us all, Donna, because we're gonna find out things about the torture that happened in the jails. You know, I spent the weekend in Pennsylvania with Rob Morris, amazing LEGO man, and his beautiful fiance Olivia and his mother with them telling me all the stories about the actual torture that took place in an American gulag that still exists today. So there's a lot that's going to come out. We have not hit the tip of the iceberg. And by the way, this guy, as you know, Army Ranger, three tours of duty, and then he goes through this in America, Donna. But you and Don brought it up on your show every single. Every single time you did a show.
Donna Feduccia
We've been doing it.
Emily Finn
Yeah, yeah.
Donna Feduccia
For like three years. I mean, that's amazing. Now, talk about LEGO Man. Here we are gonna have Dr. Henry Ely on this week. He's from the Healing for the Ages event that's happening in Dallas. I swear, Dr. Gina, you have to. You guys have to watch. He might be a little older than LEGO man, but I swear it's a misunderstood. What is it? A brother from another mother.
Emily Finn
Right, right.
David Brody
Two of them look like.
Emily Finn
Yes. All right, Jonathan, we will be watching as we always do, and thank you for joining us today.
Donna Feduccia
Okay, thank you, guys. See you this weekend.
Emily Finn
All right, see you this weekend. Bringing back Terrence Bates. He's in our Denver newsroom.
Terrence Bates
T. Hey, Dr. G. You guys were talking about brother from another mother. You are my sister from a similar Mr. And let's go with that one. I like that. That. All right, let's check in with our RAV family chat room. Joining me right now, carefree Largo, the serial chat room. Member care. Good morning, my friend. How are you? Good to see you as always. Good morning.
David Brody
You're my younger brother from another mother.
Terrence Bates
How about that? There you go. Much younger Terrence would say good morning and hello to all you Ravagers out there. It's been an incredible and an emotional week. And to top it all off, I wanted to mention that of course, everybody in the chat, Terrence was extremely emotional over the Medal of Freedom service for Charlie Kirk. As a matter of fact, AMC Javelin in the getter chat said that it was an absolutely beautiful service. Everyone that watched genuinely was moved by the words of President Trump. And of course, Charlie's wife, my brother's keeper Also mentioned that he believed that Charlie Kirk would have absolutely loved that service. And I have a feeling that you're absolutely right. I know from the chat's perspective, we're all looking forward to all the incredible things that this administration, along with TP USA is going to be doing in the future. And I think there's an awful lot to be excited about there. Absolutely. You know, there are so many different chats out there. You, of course, mentioned the Getter chat. I've been spending a lot of time lately in our YouTube chat, which is also very interesting. Interesting. Not that I'm neglecting any chat. Love all of our averagers, but there's so many different chats out there, and it's wonderful just to see the kind of community that we've built. That's. That's the best way I can find to describe it. It truly is a community. It is a great community that Rab has brought together. Next week, as a matter of fact, I'll be spending most of my time in the YouTube chat, so I would invite everybody to join me over there in YouTube and we'll be talking back and forth and maybe you'll see your name pop up here on the screen next week. Absolutely. That will be awesome. By the way, in the YouTube chat, somehow I've come up as Terrence Bates, 9610. Just yesterday, it was funny, someone said something about 9610, and I was like, I don't get it. Like, maybe I'm ignorant. What is 9610? Only to go back and realize, oh, he's making reference to. To how my name is, and I have no idea where the 9610 came from. Anyway, that's part of the kind of uniqueness of the chat that. Let's talk a bit about Israel. Why don't we? Absolutely. You know, this week could not be complete without talking about President Trump's triumphant Middle east peace accomplishments. After all, this is a story that is as old as Isaac and Ishmael. It goes back 3,000 years, just like the President said. And I can tell you that from the chat's point of view, we've heard a lot of different things. We've heard this described as a peace deal between Israel and Hamas. We've heard this described as a peace deal between Palestine and Israel, even between Israel and Gazans. So I thought maybe you could take about 15 seconds here, Terrence, and explain it all to us and just put a bow on it for us. Oh, wow. Okay. So I get to do some biblical history as well as some real history. Obviously you mentioned Isaac and the fact that there's biblical context, if you will, as it relates to who are God's people and who should inhabit that land. That's ultimately where the argument, if you will, where the disconnect started. And of course, that disconnect now continues thousands of years later. And now we're at the point where we're trying to end the world, end a war, but it's a war that basically stems from who should ultimately be here, who are God's people. I think that's probably the best or the easiest way to give some context to where we stand today. I'd probably spend a whole 15 minute or actually probably an hour trying to discuss the entire historical context. But that's probably the most brief explanation I can give.
David Brody
Care.
Terrence Bates
Always good to see you. I never call you carefree. I always just call you care. It's easier. Plus, I care about you. You call me anything you want, sir. I love you to death. And remember, you're never completely dressed until you put on a smile. And here I'm putting on my big smile for you right here. Kara, always good to talk to you, my brother. Thank you so much, my friend. Have a great weekend. A new breakthrough. You as well, my friend. Coming up, a new breakthrough that's going to revolutionize your skin care routine and the secret ingredient that makes it all possible. Find out what that is. It's next here on American Sunrise.
Emily Finn
All right. Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's South Carolina. You always recognize those long bogs or whatever. What are those called there? Is it a bog? I don't know. No, not the trees. MD Thanks. I know what a tree is. I talk about the. Those long things that are always in front of the ocean when you're in the Carolinas. All right, anyway, we'll figure it out. Someone in the chat is gonna know. Thanks for joining us today. Taking care of your skin isn't just about how you look. It's about your health. Your skin is your body's largest organ. I think I learned that when I was like 30. And I was just amazed. I didn't know I didn't learn that in biology. It's your first line of defense, though, for your internal organs against things like pollution, germs, contaminants, toxins, and the sun. So that's why we're excited to partner with our new sponsor. I am more excited about this new sponsor. You don't even want to know how excited I am. Their name Is Exoceuticals. Joining us now with more is the co founder of Exoceuticals, Robin L. Smith. Robin, good morning.
Dr. Gina
Good morning.
Emily Finn
Robin. I cannot even tell you that. Okay, so you and I met a few weeks back. I'm just going to tell our audience because I'm full disclosure. And you were like, this product is going to make such a difference in your skin. Gina, you're not going to believe it. I'm like, I have people send me stuff all the time, Robin, that they tell me is going to change my life. All right, so then about two, three weeks into it, I go to an event this weekend, Club 47. If one person came up to me and asked me if I had work done, which I have not, or if what I'm doing, what I'm eating, what have I changed? It was everyone who saw me. It was amazing. This stuff is like. And I'm not exaggerating, you guys know, I just don't do that on this show. I'm very actually usually cynical about claims, but tell us exactly what exosomes are because I don't think most people really understand.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, so I'm excited. You love the products. It really is like almost a facelift in a bottle. It's an exciting time now. So exosomes are the way cells communicate. They're these little vesicles, these vehicles, if you will, that have all kinds of ingredients in them, like lipids and proteins and peptides and nucleic acids, but they also have instructions. So when they go to the target cell, they tell the cell what it should be doing and gives the ingredients that will help it. So, for example, as you get older, you get less collagen and you make less elastin. And this tells your cell you need to be making more, which, as you know, can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Same with hyaluronic acid. You're not making the same that you do year after year. And therefore it tells the cells you need to make more, which will bring hydration and improve that skin barrier. And as we look in the mirror and all of a sudden we see a dark spot, it's because our body is, is responding to environmental damage, for example, UV light and other things that were making melanin. And then you're getting the dark spots so it can help the body signal to make less. So it's really a miracle ingredient. That's very exciting.
Emily Finn
And we figured it out because doctors have been using it for a while, for example, in spinal regeneration and things like that. And then we started questioning will it work in other areas. And that's how you ended up forming this company and this formulation. So it's not like the claims you hear from. I don't want to name any brands, but the brands on TV that say, oh, da, da, da, da. It's not like that at all. This is actually at the cellular level. This is very different from anything else. Tell us.
Dr. Gina
It is. And, you know, what we learned over these many years of stem cells is that you don't always need the cell. It's the exosomes that are doing the work. It's the signaling. So it's really exciting. Not all exosomes are alike, so where they come from matters. We particularly like stem cells from human fat because that's the lower layer of the skin. So it speaks skin because it comes from skin. But they also can come from plant. We have exosomes from the aloe vera plant. And it's just.
David Brody
It's.
Dr. Gina
There's a lot of sources. All cells make exosomes, but they're not all alike. So where they come from affects what's in that cargo, what's in that vesicle. So that's what's giving the instructions and the ingredients to the cells.
Emily Finn
Yeah. And I want to say, just because our audience, I know they probably came to know stem cells about the same time I did. And these are exhumed from adults. This doesn't have anything to do, or I think in some cases, placentas, things like that. Right. But not babies. Certainly not important. Right. I definitely wanted to make that really clear because I know our audience cares about that. What's your favorite product, Robin? I can't even pick. I love them all.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, they're great products. I think my favorite is After Sun. Not so much for the name, because I'm never in the. But really, it's a restorative product. I'll use it on my face. I use it on my body. I can use it when I feel dry. When I have itchy skin, it really helps hydrate, and it's soothing, and it's just amazing for creepiness, for wrinkles. It brings hydration and really feels nurtured. So I love that. But, you know, obviously we have other products that focus on different things, and people love the products, as you've said.
Emily Finn
Yeah, they're all really great. I especially love the serum I put on in the morning and the skin. Skin cream that I use. Yeah, I love.
Dr. Gina
You can put makeup over it. You can put sunscreen. So they're great products.
Emily Finn
I will tell you this because this does matter to viewers. I put it on and sometimes if I forget, I can put it on even after I put on makeup and I can still reapply makeup and it doesn't interfere at all, which a lot of things do. You can tell it's just really natural. It integrates into your skin. Robin Smith, thank you so much. Everybody has got to go go get their exoceuticals. You see it at the bottom of your television screen right now. Don't miss your opportunity and call me in three weeks because you're going to love it. Did you get that taken? NASA, thanks for having us.
Dr. Gina
It looks great.
Emily Finn
Thank you. All right. Coming up, the US Marine Corps turned 250RAV celebrating this historic milestone this weekend. We're going to show you how after the break that we are doing that because there's, there's more American Sunrise to come in two.
Dr. Gina
All right.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks so much for joining us today. Since it since I will get this sentence out. Since 1775, the United States Marine Corps has embodied the American spirit, charging to the front lines to defend our freedom values all over the world. They are celebrating their 250th birthday this weekend and Real America's Voice will be there. Let's take a look.
David Brody
For 250 years, they've stormed beaches, broken lines and made history in blood and valor. From the black sands of Iwo Jima to the streets the of Fallujah.
Terrence Bates
Get ready to move.
David Brody

There you go. All right. It's going to be amazing to celebrate that. I think we should celebrate every milestone in our nation right now and we should be so proud to be Americans and look what America has done.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. And I've been called into duty tomorrow to co host the event late tomorrow afternoon. So I'm really looking forward to it. It is definitely going to be a celebration of our marine but also I think a celebration of America and that fighting spirit that makes us what we are today.

You guys have a great weekend, and God bless you and hug your children. Love God. Go boldly now. Live the truth. Celebrate America. A little extra this weekend.
