When I told people I was making a podcast about Benghazi, nine times out of ten they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies. From prologue projects and Pushkin Industries. This is Fiasco Benghazi. What difference at this point does it make? Listen to Fiasco Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Just ahead on American Sunrise, potential peace between Israel and Hamas. Hamas says it has agreed to parts of President Trump's deal, but wants to continue talks on the others. Has there been enough talk, though? Well, it's time for action. So where will this all end up? We have the latest from Israel, plus the crime crackdown. A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from sending National Guard troops to Oregon. Even those from other states will Trump Trump the judge's decision? That's ahead, too. And Elon Musk echoes a message of faith from Charlie Kirk's widow, Eric Erica. Is this yet another example of how, how the Charlie Kirk effect has impacted not just the faith community, but others, including Musk? We'll assess that and so much more as American Sunrise starts right now. Good morning, America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family. American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning, everybody. I'm Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in David Brody. He's in Washington, D.C. and Terrence Bates is in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, guys. Good morning, Gina. Dr. Gina and David, Good morning. Oh, excuse me. I just had to swallow it. Hey, guys. So, look, I'm sure you guys have both been keeping an eye on the situation in Portland or the situation that would be. And then a judge said, oh, no, not so fast, my friend. Fox News headline, it reads, federal Judge blocks Trump's National Guard deployment to Portland amid constitutional challenge. All of this started on Saturday when President Trump initially wanted to send the Oregon National Guard. The judge said no. So the President came up with an alternative plan to send National Guardsmen from California as well as Texas. The judge came back the very next day and said, didn't you hear what I said? The no, it's not going to happen. So now this case ultimately could face a DOJ appeal. David. Dr. Gina, just another mess, another way that President Trump is finding himself in court over trying to do the right thing. David yeah, it's like each judge around the country has a buzzer, you know, I mean, it just continues on. And this is what this president has had to deal with, let's be honest, ever since he glided down the escalator and became president for the first time. Gina, you can make the argument easily that the number one most important thing a president can do is appoint district court, excuse me, district court judges, appeals court judges, circuit court judges to reshape the judiciary. He did a great job, the president did in his first term. Getting stymied by Democrats a bit here in the second term for sure. But this is crucial. You've got to get the judiciary to basically to have these judges start to really do their job and get your agenda, if you will, make sure that these judges understand that this is an originalist view of the Constitution that they need to go by. Yeah, let's remember there's a massive financing behind the scenes to fund the implementation of the most leftist judges that you can possibly imagine throughout the Obama and the Biden term. So that's what he's up against. I want to say one thing quickly though. I got on Reddit this weekend and I was just looking through the comments just to see what the other side is saying. And I'll tell you what, it is so scary. Such a pack of lies. They are honestly comparing this to rounding people up and putting them in death camps. Only they're saying it's worse because if you send them back to their original countries, they're going to be in prison for the rest of their lives. They're going to be killed, they're going to be tortured, all the rest of it. And that many of these people are just innocent grandmothers and grandchildren, by the way, which is absolutely not happening. They just, and it's all based on skin color. So if you are not the whitest of white skinned person, you may be next in the in line to just be rounded up and thrown to another country whether you're completely innocent or not. And this isn't just talking about illegals. They're saying they make this like it could happen to anyone with slightly off White skin. And you know who was saying it the most, I noticed, because they'd always comment what color they were. Mostly the white liberals. It's mostly the white liberals out there seeing this in all of these, propagating this absolute propaganda. These are bots. It is terrible what they're doing. We got to do something about that, too. And the judges. David, you're right. Let's check out today's Bible verse. It's from John 8:12. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. Keeping our attention now on the Holy Land and the fate of the last remaining Israeli hostages kidnapped two years ago tomorrow. Unbelievable. On October 7th. I can't believe they're not home yet. Hamas has come out and said it has accepted parts of President Trump's peace deal. Those parts include releasing the hostages, but other parts of the deal, they still want to negotiate. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had this to say. So no one here is claiming this is done. What we are claiming is that we have moved. We are in a much better place today than we were seven days ago. A lot could happen wrong here, but so much could happen, right? If we can get this done. And we're very dedicated to making that happen. And look, that is not just the United States, although this is an initiative that President Trump deserves a tremendous amount of credit for. But it's Qatar, it's the uae, it's Israel, who's been involved in these talks. It's Saudi Arabia, it's Indonesia, it's countries like Egypt and Jordan and other countries from the region, all of whom are pushing hard and are behind this effort. We all want to see it get done. And I think that collective pressure can make this happen. I'm optimistic it will happen, but it won't be easy. All right, for more, let's bring in former Trump attorney and author of the brand new book Defiant Inside the Mar? A Lago Raid and the left's ongoing lawfare. Christina Bobb. Christina, here we go. We've got these talks. We're really at the past the deadline, right, Aren't we? What is your prediction? Well, I think they are inching towards a resolution. I don't know how long that resolution will last. I hope it lasts several years or decades. But I agree with what Marco Rubio, how he assessed the situation is. You have to go one step at a time. And the most important thing is getting the hostages home, making sure that people are safe and if we have an agreement on that now, all they have to do is work out the logistics for the first part, which is releasing the hostages. So I'm very hopeful and confident that that part will actually be executed. Well, because everybody appears to be in agreement on it. But this is a very, very difficult situation. And I mean, there's so many different ways this could go, for sure. And there's talks in Egypt right now. So we'll be monitoring that this morning and across all the day here on Real America's Voice. Hey, Christina, let's turn to the National Guard deployments by the president. I mean, this is getting harder and harder to keep track. Here's the latest. You got npr, this headline, federal judge again blocks National Guard deployment to Oregon. So that's on hold. So President Trump said, all right, well, then I'll deploy 300 National Guard from California next door to go to Oregon. Then a judge last night said, no, that's not gonna happen. And then this weekend, the White House said it's sending 300 National Guard troops to Illinois. And of course, we got the National Guard down in Memphis and in D.C. as well. So, Christina, the lawsuits, they're flying like a Vin Diesel movie, Fast and Furious. You know, wouldn't the Supreme Court have to ultimately weigh in on all of this in terms of what the president can and cannot do regarding the deployment of the National Guard? I mean, are they going to look more at the Posse Comitatus act or how is this going to shake out Exactly. Yeah. Ultimately, it will be the Supreme Court that decides the issue. And my guess is that's why, or at least part of their rationale in deploying troops into different areas to have different districts weigh in and get as many opinions as possible up to the Supreme Court that might be part of their strategy. Yeah, Posse Comitatus is an issue basically saying you can't use federal military personnel to enforce law, which is what the Democrats are saying, that the Trump administration is overplaying their hand on this. The Trump administration is saying, hey, we're deploying the National Guard to defend ice. We're not trying to enforce, you know, they're not pulling over people for speeding. They're defending people where we have these attacks on ice. And so they're saying it's a little bit different. And that's ultimately what the Supreme Court is going to have to rule. How, how much can the military be used by the president to enforce federal issues on state issues? And it's an interesting kind of twist because of course, conservatives want law and order. Conservatives are very supportive of the president securing these areas and securing these states, but conservatives also want small federal government, and they don't want the federal government infringing. You know, we're very much about the 10th Amendment, states rights. Let state do what states do. And so it's, you know, it's a little bit conflicting. I, I don't know which way the Supreme Court will come down on this. Yeah, good point, Christine. It's interesting that domestically, President Trump and the Trump administration in general, dealing with all these different fights, but abroad, it seems like he is truly the peacemaker in chief. He seemed to be able to make peace in so many different conflicts, and he's really doing well on that end. Which leads me to the question on Friday, the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is going to confer the peace prize. What do you think? Does President Trump have a chance? Given all that he's done abroad, all of the conflicts that he's been able to put down, does he have a chance? What are your thoughts? He absolutely should. I mean, he's done more internationally for peace, probably than anybody in this generation alive today. He's been not just very influential in bringing about peace, but it seems to be a strong motivation for him intrinsically. Like, he wants peace. He's trying to bring peace in the Middle east, where, quite honestly, very few presidents have even tried. Certainly, we didn't see anything coming out of the Biden administration. So I think he should. I think he absolutely is in the running and should be nominated. But, you know, it's also very political, and who knows what they're going to do? No, agreed. Agreed. I had to ask, though, Christina, congratulations on the new book. I want to just recount that we heard about the raid on Mar a Lago. Sitting right here. I got in the car, went seven minutes over to Mar a Lago, and we were the very first on the scene. The police were brutal outside of Mar a Lago. That's a whole other story. Wouldn't let me anywhere near. And I'm a member. I could walk in the door, they wouldn't let me anywhere near. I wanted to go straight in and see what they were doing. Unbelievable. What don't we know what's uncovered in your book that we have not read in media? The. The story that the media has told everybody about how it developed and how it came about is a complete lie. They never had probable cause. They should never have been there in the first place. They were trying to hide it. The only reason they had the lights and sirens and flashing lights at the end was because President Trump had announced, he had announced the raid himself. The FBI didn't do it. DOJ didn't do it. And then the Biden White House fumbled for three days going, oh, wait, oh, my gosh. Who knew that Mar A Lago got raided? That's so weird. We had no idea. And they were, they were faking because they were not prepared for the public to know that they had raided Mar A Lago. And I give you text messages and emails and the whole backstory, and you will be absolutely appalled at what they did. Christina, real quick, just before you get out of here, James Comey indicted by that grand jury. Got to get your reaction. Obviously, you wrote a book that goes, speaks right to this matter. Well, I think it's important that people have who have been abusing the process are prosecuted. I'm currently a criminal defendant as we speak. I do not believe in using the process to go after your political opponents. My case hopefully is very soon to be dismissed. But it's a terrible, terrible thing to have to endure when you didn't do anything wrong. And so the fact that they're going after Comey for lying to Congress and abusing the process, I think is a very good thing. These people need to be held accountable because they've told us, they have demonstrated to us that they are not going to say, stop targeting innocent Americans until they're stopped. And I think this is how you stop them. So I think it's a good development. Yeah, really tired of their moral equivalency all the time, though, because it isn't the same. The way they went after us is not what Trump's doing. But anyway, we appreciate you and your work and your book. I want a copy of it. I'm excited to get it and read it. Thanks for being with us. Thank you. Thanks, Christina. Thanks, Christina. Right, coming up, Rav is on the ground for the celebration of the Navy's 250th birthday. We have some highlights from that. But now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony joining us right now with a quick look at how things are looking coast to coast. Tracy, good morning. Good Monday morning to see you on this start of the workweek. Yeah, you too, Terrence. You know, from coast to coast, we have the tale of, you know, two different sides of the coin. Out east, we are talking millions feeling more like summer with temperatures getting into the 80s and we potentially could be breaking records out across the Northeast. But out west, we've had a powerful cold front work across the region. It's funneling in some cooler air. So daytime highs are going to struggle. We're only going to be in the 50s and low 60s. So a lot of us going to feel a big change as this front continues to make its way to the east. So Chicago, 15 degrees above average, where Omaha, you're 13 degrees below average. So a huge temperature gradient across the central parts of the country. And we're talking more records for New England as northern Maine getting into the mid-80s this time. Here it's not really heard of too often. So big changes. We also have some tropics to check in on. We have an area out in the Atlantic we are watching could have development in the next 48 hours. And then there's an area out in the eastern Pacific. We have Hurricane Priscilla that this tropical moisture could be impacting us across the desert Southwest, Terrence, by the end of the week. So quite a few different big weather headlines across the country. Yeah, a lot happening weather wise Tracy, always good to see you. We'll check back with you next hour. Sounds good. All right. All right, folks, we're going to take a quick break. When we come back, some of the activists arrested in the Gaza flotilla claim they were mistreated. Their claims are significant. The big question, are they truthful? We're taking a closer look. The US Electric grid is approaching a breaking point. All right, President Trump now reportedly saying Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Ned Netanyahu has been, quote, negative about the potential peace deal with Hamas. Take a look at the headline here. Axios reporting that Trump told Netanyahu that this was his chance for victory. But initially Netanyahu viewed Hamas, Hamas's response to the deal as a rejection, which sparked a least one four letter word. Hamas agreed to release the hostages in exchange for prisoners, but continue negotiating on other aspects. All right. We'll see if that actually comes to fruition. For more, let's bring in Jerusalem Post writer, chairman of the Judaism 3.0 think tank and author of the Assault on Judaism. The existential threat is coming from the West. That would be our good friend Gol. Thanks for being here. Appreciate it. Look, there are big talks right, going on right now in Egypt to try and figure out the next steps here. So I guess the question is, is this any sort of agreement by Hamas or not? I mean, maybe on the hostages, but what about everything else in Trump's plan? How do you see this this morning? Good morning. Good morning. And exactly this is the big question. Is Hamas going to follow through? And a lot of people are very skeptical about it because the hostages release is just the first part. The other part is the disarmament of Hamas and making sure that Gaza is no longer a threat to Israel and they haven't committed to that. So we don't know. We'll see the next days. We'll tell. President Trump was very, very clear. If Hamas doesn't follow through, whether it's in the first stage of releasing the hostages or later on in disarming and ending its rule in Gaza, then Israel must go in militarily and do the job militarily. And Prime Minister Netanyahu is correct to be skeptical about that because I'm concerned that Hamas is playing here into this sort of like Western war fatigue because we're going to make all those concessions. We're going to withdraw out of Gaza City into what's known as the yellow line. Hamas is once again going to come in, once again going to rearm, once again, it's going to strengthen. And then they might find some excuse, whether it's not to release the hostages or later not to disarm. And when it's going to be time for us to go in, as President Trump says, and continue the war, people are going to tell us war again. As you know, David, I spend time in the United States, I've noticed firsthand this war fatigue, including amongst my friends. We spoke here on the show where you told me a lot of people are saying, just finish your job already. So it's possible that Hamas is doing exactly what they've done October 7, assuming that once we go in, the west will stop us and then they get back to Gaza, they get back into power and commit more terrorism and October 7th against us. Wow, this is so complicated. I just keep thinking, just please get those hostages out of there. Just please get those. Was that part of the strategy though, Gaul, wrapping that all together? Because for me, I just, I want those hostages out so badly. I feel like this could have been a two part deal, a two part negotiation, instead of it's all or none. Because if the, if the back end of this falls down, which I understand is super important to world security, but if the back part of this falls down, those people have been there two years and I'm just thinking about the mamas. Exactly. We want the hostages out, but we also want to make sure that there's not another hundreds of hostages taken in a few months. And if Hamas is in Gaza, that's the plan and we have to make known, we have to be clear eyed about it. So exactly as Trump says, exactly as the plan suggests. We need to have the ability to either Hamas does it itself and disarm itself, or we got to go in and do the job for them. So again, I'm very concerned about this war fatigue that, you know, I described it in my book. And if you remember, after October 7th, two years ago, on October 8th, 9th and 10th, we spoke about. Exactly. This is the Hamas strategy there. You know, they just committed this horrific, you know, murdering 1200 Jews and they're hoping that the west now sooner or later will tell Israel ceasefire now. And this is exactly what we're concerned. So I actually think Prime Minister Netanyahu is correct in being a little bit negative and skeptic about Hamas. That's his job description. And I think our job description is to pray that God bestows good advice to President Trump and to Prime Minister Netanyahu. Amen, Gaul. What you term war fatigue, I think is very appropriate in terms of how many Americans are feeling about the ongoing conflict there in Gaza specifically. Another thing you said is that there are a Lot of Americans who just want to get the job done, you say just go ahead and finish the job. That's our perspective. We're obviously separated from it a little bit. And much of our perspective is coming from what we see in the media. So I'm curious, on the ground in Israel, what is the appetite? I would imagine there's got to be some war fatigue as you describe it there, as well. What is the appetite in terms of how to move forward? Is it just get the job done and wipe out Hamas, or is there a move, a sense for more diplomacy or to give diplomacy another. Another try? I think most people are, first of all, we trust President Trump. And when President Trump said repeatedly that diplomacy doesn't work, you're going to go in and finish a job militarily, Israelis trust Trump and like Trump. So I think the, you know, had there been no hostages, you know, I'm sorry to say this war, the brilliance of Hamas, of taking those hostages, and that's why they're going to do it again. That's why other groups in Europe and the United States might do it again. They took those hostages because they understand that our hands in fighting our tide, you know, if there were no hostages, you know, we would go in very hard at Gaza, we would decimate Hamas, we'll kick them out, and we would win the war probably already a while ago, but we're, you know, fighting very gently and precision way because we're very concerned about the life of the hostages and we want to get them back. So Israelis on the ground, you know, there's no war fatigue because we are, you know, we, you know, there's no survival fatigue, war fatigue. The mirror image is survival fatigue. We are resolute. We're as resolute as we were on October 8th two years ago. We're as resolute today. We want to survive. We're a nation of believers. You know, we are together in this and, you know, there might be disagreements exactly the right way, but I think most Israelis agree now that let's give this deal a chance so we can get our hostages back as long as we're allowed. The other points in Trump's plan, if they don't get fulfilled, then we must be allowed and get the support exactly as Trump says, to finish the job militarily. I mean, we have to be clear. We're taking a step. We're paying months back. The war will last longer because we are giving peace a chance. But we got to do that. We got to give peace a chance. And it's peaceful strength because of the condition that President Trump created. Go, go. We've got 30 seconds or so. But and to be clear, President Trump is the greatest friend Israel's ever had. Let's do the disclaimer there. But let me just run down a quick little timeline. In January 2025, when he was inaugurated, a month before that, he said the hostages aren't back by the time he's inaugurated, they'll be all hell to pay. In March, he said the same thing. Hostages not back, they'll be all hell to pay. Now September of 2025, he says by Sunday, 6:00pm, all hell to pay. And it's past Sunday at 6:00pm Your thoughts? Well, that's what some people are worried that Hamas is looking at this and saying, well, we can, we can play with this. We can, you know, prolong this another week, another month, another, you know, few months, and then Israel's hands will be tied in terms of trying to continue the war militarily. So there's this concern, but you know, there's a, of things we don't know that I said earlier, we got to pray that God bestows President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu with good judgment and advice because the good news here is that the people in Israel have faith in the leadership of President Trump. And I think that we have to give diplomacy a chance, maybe one last chance. But if it doesn't work, we must have a wall to wall consensus that will allow us to fight and defend ourselves by ourselves and go into Gaza and do the job militarily. Great to have you. Thank you, sir. Thanks. All right, coming up, big time controversy. The FDA has approved another generic abortion drug. How is the conservative movement reacting? Well, let's just say not good. And that's an understatement. Details when we come back, everybody. The US Electric grid is approaching a breaking point. It is time now for today's health news, sponsored by the Wellness Company and under the microscope today, a miracle in motion. A Pennsylvania man paralyzed after a mountain biking accident. Proof that science can restore motion and faith can restore hope. You guys look for a lot more of this. I'll tell you what, I'm talking to people doing research with peptides, with exosomes, with all sorts of things. I'm telling you there are real technological miracles coming our way and it is very exciting. There's a new administration in Washington, D.C. they brought a lot of Positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality, though, there's only so much the government can do. And if we really want to make America healthy again, that's going to start at home with each of us. Use the promo code RAV. It'll save you 10%. David Brody, you know it. What do I know? Oh, that. That you can save 10%. That's what I know. 10%. I do know that. Yes. And that's because you tell me every single day. And I thank you for that. I tell you. Yeah, yeah. And you do it with pride. Pride. Yes, you do. With. All right, let's move on. New outrage this morning, by the way. The FDA fast tracking a new abortion drug and pro life groups literally livid. Senator Josh Hawley says the FDA skip safety reviews. That's a direct quote, calling it, quote, a betrayal of science and life. He's demanding answers and action to protect women and the unborn. All right, well, joining us now is Marjorie Dannen Spelzer, president of SBA Pro Life America, a national leader, of course, in defending life and holding Washington accountable. Marjorie, thanks for being here. You know, you called this FDA decision unconscionable. How in the world did this happen under RFK Jr. S watch at HHS and under a Trump administration. I'm scratching my head and that's not good because I have limited follicles. Marjorie, good morning. Well, good morning and thanks for having me. Hey, Gina. Yeah. Just two weeks ago, we were told that women who are pregnant shouldn't be taking Tylenol. And then just last week, we're hearing that a new generic drug has been approved to kill unborn children. This should not be happening under this administration. This administration is never known for. Being powerless is not something that was inevitable. Legally, absolutely. The underlying drug that what the generic was made from has not been studied to the extent that Secretary Kennedy has asked for. So that is exactly what needs to be done. It's truly outrageous that the pre that the pre Trump Biden era Covid era situation with the abortion drug is still underway. We have a Biden era COVID policy that says no in person meeting must be done with a woman who is wanting the abortion drug. It's sent through the mail. She doesn't need a sonogram. Anyone can get these pills, including a mad boyfriend or an ex husband and put them in her drink. This is happening over and over and death. So what is the problem? I think the problem is perhaps the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I pray that that's the case. But in any case, immediately these safeguards need to be reestablished. The same safeguards that were, that were reality under Trump. One I've known you for decades. I know that you are trying to get to the bottom of how this happened and what's going to be done about it and when have you heard anything from the administration, from hhs, from individuals that you just know. And even if you can't talk about it, I just want to know that someone's saying something about it. I'll be perfectly honest with you. Thank you, my friend. On Tuesday I met with five different senators about the, about the possibility that this might be happening. And what happened was during that very day the announcement came out about it. It took almost everyone that I know from, from at the top levels to the bureaucratic levels. It took them almost all by surprise. But one thing I'm sure of is that the Commissioner of the FDA, Dr. McCary, definitely knew. And if Senator Kennedy, if I'm Senator Kennedy, if Secretary Kennedy did not know, there's a real problem. But the good news is all good can come back to those who do well. And just immediately establishing the rules surrounding the dispensing of this drug to being in person and not through the mail anymore. We could at least now take a pause and study the effects of the drugs that have shown to be. At least 11% of women report serious side effects from this drug, not like Tylenol. So there's a big problem and you got part of it and that is political. The rest of it is just pure science that needs to be examined. Marjorie, do you expect this administration to say something, do something here in the next coming days or weeks? I mean silence, the silence is deafening right now. It is deafening. The only thing we have heard is that it was legally inevitable that this is this would happen. This is simply not the type of response that this administration ever gives. I think for an administration that's been able to eliminate entire departments who has no problem doing the right thing and then letting the rest of the rules kind of catch up sometimes making sure they're right. This is an administration not afraid of litigation. I think we've seen that. I think action right now and at least some explanation beyond all this was inevitable, like as if it was some other version of Tylenol, a knockoff of Tylenol, then, then maybe it would be understandable. This is outrageous. It's unconscionable. The REMs have to be reestablished, those rules, and then they need to be just taken off the market after the reality comes to light. Marjorie Daniel Felser, we appreciate your work. I know you'll be on this and you know we'll be on it, too. Thank you so much for your time. Thank you. I look forward to next time. Thank you, Esther. Thanks, Marjorie. All right. Coming up, a new controversy that should alarm every American who has children or grandchildren in school. How did an illegal alien with a long rap sheet for drugs and gun possession become an Iowa school superintendent? And why is the left defending him? Bates, Good morning. Well, thank you. But after this next story, David, you may just walk off the set because it is just that. Unbelievable. All right, you are now caffeinated folks. So it's time to stay awake. Not woke and who's wide awake today? Well, it would be parents in Des Moines, Iowa. Many of them are stunned to learn that their school superintendent is an illegal immigrant with a criminal record. The guy's name is Ian Andre Roberts. That's him right there. He's behind bars. And he had a final deportation order for having a loaded gun. Thousands of dollars in cash. But, yeah, it gets even worse. His rap sheet runs from drugs to fraud. And, yes, he still was able to run a school district as a superintendent. How does that happen? And what does it say about the system meant to protect our kids? Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to talk a bit more about this. Dave, let me give you first crack at this. Since we chit. Chatted a little bit about this moments ago, I will just add this. The entire HR department needs to be fired. I mean, how. How does he get through the cracks? Yeah, so this story absolutely shocked me this morning. I went ahead and read about three or four articles on this just to kind of understand how in the world this could happen. So what happened, apparently, was the Des Moines School Board or the superintendent's office, all of them together, whatever, they hired this JG consult company, and they left it to the consulting company to figure it out to do the background check. And so they're blaming the consulting companies. Matter of fact, they're suing right now, the consulting company, over this. Of course, the consulting company is saying, hey, look, we didn't do anything wrong. The guy lied. And, you know, which sounds ridiculous. Anyhow, the point simply is, is that there's a lot of folks that are actually calling for folks in the Des Moines School Board Society, or whatever they call it over there, the superintendent's office, to be fired over this. This was basically, Gina, a lie for 24. What is it, almost 40 years. He was here since 1994. What is that? That's like 40 years. 40 years. 30 years. I can't remember any 30 years. I mean, he was. He was literally lying left and right. And there were. There were all these charges against him as well, which were dropped. Then he married an American citizen. He competed in the Olympics. The whole thing is bizarre. I can't even fathom how this could have gotten through the cracks, but it did. Perhaps what's most bizarre is that the kids are protesting outside of the schools to have him reinstated. Yeah, he was beloved there, by the way, we should say. Exactly. And the other thing that is, I think, really bizarre is the way the left is trying to paint this as, believe it or not, A race thing. I read all about it, didn't look at the pictures, didn't know what color the guy was. I'm just so tired of the race thing. I just think that part of it's unbelievable too, that they would try to turn this into some sort of race thing. This is not about this. This is about the rule of law in this particular. It's about the rule of law. And in this particular case, it also shows that there are so many failures when it comes to due diligence about a candidate. How does a search firm first of all choose someone or at least bring typically, what happens in these sorts of cases? The search firm gives a school district several candidates to choose from. The school district then typically will interview each candidate and decide based on those interviews. But again, I blame the search firm. How do you bring a candidate to the table without having really done your due diligence and seeing that person's criminal record? And then secondly, there's some culpability in my mind on the school board there in Des Moines, Iowa, not having done its own secondary research and an investigation into the candidate. There's. There's so many failures on so many different levels in my mind, guys. And there's also a policy failure because there is no E Verify system set up there at all. So if there was an E Verify system, they would realize that. Well, hold on for a second. You know, we. There's a lot of issues here, but they wouldn't have. They would have seen it, but they didn't see it. And so, you know, I've been kind of harping on E Verify for a long time. There are certain states that do it, but it's not universal E Verify. So in other words, if it has to do with the public sector, then some states do E Verify, but if it's a private sector, they don't. Now, in this case, it is public, but they're in Iowa. It did not happen. So I don't know. It's terrible. Yeah, it shouldn't have happened. It shouldn't have happened. He shouldn't have gotten through. Through all the safeguards that should be in place to protect kids and institutions from this sort of thing. I think it's a shame. But that's just my two cents, Dr. G. And I guess we'll move on. Coming up, the impact of Charlie Kirk's legacy on faith. How is Elon Musk now getting involved? We'll tell you next here on American Sunrise. Time now for our Moment of Faith. It's brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible In Focus today, Elon Musk reposts a message of faith from Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica Kirk. Erica Kirk posted a very simple message on X saying this, go to church. And Elon reposted it. Musk in the past has said he is not a religious person, but added he does believe the teachings of Jesus Christ are good and added he is a big believer in the principles of Christianity. For more, let's bring in executive director of the Providence Forum. That would be Dr. Jerry Newcombe. Dr. Newcombe, great to see you. Hey, don't get me wrong, going to church, it's great, it's a start. But getting right with Jesus is the point here. Good morning. Good morning. Good to be with you. Yes, Jesus himself said the thief talking about the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly. And of course, in this life he gives us abundant life, but in the next life he gives us eternal life for those who believe in him. Yeah, you know, I'm looking at pictures of Elon Musk here and I, I must tell you, the one word that comes to mind is something that he has preached about and talked about, transhumanism, which is extremely scary. It's a concept that obviously is not biblical at all. If you were in a room with Elon Musk and he was talking to you about transhumanism and living forever, what would be some of what you would impart to him? And quite frankly, some folks that want to take their life into their own hands and not give it to God. Yeah, that's a good point. You know, the whole push lately, you know, for youth and age on the one hand, on some people, and then there are others who basically they want to live forever in this life as opposed to, you know, the day coming when we shuffle off the mortal coil, to use the words from Shakespeare. But the bottom line is it is appointed for man once to live and then to die. And then after that comes the judgment. And I think the moves to try and somehow live in this life forever or for a thousand years or something like that, I think these are ill begotten. We are impacted, all of us, by the fall, you know, the sin of Adam and Eve. And Jesus came to undo the effects of the curse, especially spiritually. You know, God said in the day that you eat from that, that forbidden fruit, you will die. Well, they didn't die physically that day, but they did die spiritually. Jesus came to undo that, that effort. But as far as transhumanism you know, in effect, there's always this temptation. I don't know, we're going back to the Garden of Eden again. There's always this temptation to. For man to try and become God. In fact, Satan even said to Eve, ah, when you eat that forbidden fruit, you shall be as like God, and God is trying to withhold this good thing from you. So I would say to Mr. Musk, that particular idea is. Is not a good one. In the meantime, this tweet that he retweeted from Erica Kirk saying, go to church, that is really true. Did you know, David, I don't know if you knew this, but statistically, in America, if you are faithfully going to church on a regular basis, and you're Caucasian, you're white, on average, according to Dr. Byron Johnson of Baylor University, on average, you will live seven more years, all things being equal. And obviously, there's always exceptions to statistics. And if you're African American, you'll live 14 years longer on average if you regularly go to church. Are you kidding me? That's. That's statistically true. Look at, look at Dr. Johnson, Byron Johnson's research at Baylor University. And then there's. Not only do you live longer, but the quality of life is higher. And there's less of a loneliness factor from going to church. There's. There's a generosity factor that is incurred. There's a Harvard professor, used to be the head of American Enterprise Institute. Oh, I'm sorry, David. Go ahead. You were going to say something. Well, we're up again. We're up against a break. But how about we make a deal and I'll have you back on with all of those statistics because I gotta run. But that. Those were some great stats, the most important we've had today. Thank you, Dr. Newcomb, but I want to get you back on. Thank you again. Sure. Thank you. All right, don't go anywhere, everybody. We're back with the second hour of American Sunrise. Coming up in the second hour of American Sunrise, the government shut down drags into another week, and patience is running thin. In Washington, President Trump warns of vast layoffs as Democrats dig in, blocking another GOP plan to reopen the government. The White House says enough is enough. Plus, a strange moment in Illinois. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem barred from entering a public municipal building just to use the restroom. What was she doing there and why they turned her away? That's coming up as well. Also, new evidence in one of America's biggest mysteries, the decades long disappearance of pilot Amelia Earhart. Researchers say a newly discovered. Something newly discovered could finally reveal what happened to her plane. Those details. So much more just ahead as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now. Good morning, America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family. The American dream is still alive. David. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G and Wes Palm and T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to you guys. You know, Gina, one thing we never say in the show, and here's a quote, boy, it's a slow news day. We never say that. I notice, and this is no exception, the shutdown. We're talking about that we've got the Gaza, Gaza situation, Israel and Hamas and oh, did I mention the National Guard and going into Oregon. Oh, wait, no. Because a judge stopped it. Anyhow, the list goes on. Yeah, I know, exactly right. And this pro life story is still just boggling my mind. I can't believe we don't have any answers on that. So appreciative that you brought that story to our attention, David. But, Terrence, you know better than anybody, we don't have slow news days anymore. We used to when we started out in this business. We don't. I love those slow news days because I would get all, when I did, I did radio back then and I would get all. I would tell stories like some of my favorite stories from old news. That was my fun thing to do, like historical news. But Terrence, no time for that. Ain't nobody got time. Yeah, you know, typically we do headlines right about now, but nothing to report back to you guys. We ain't got time for that. That's a joke. That's a joke. All right, let's start at the White House, where Press Secretary Caroline Levitt is going to start this this week with a press briefing. It's set to get underway later this afternoon. She's expected to address a federal judge's move late Sunday to block the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard to Oregon in general. Portland specific, the legal fight comes after President Trump ordered Californian Texas Guardsmen to Oregon after a judge blocked him from using the Oregon National Guard on Saturday. Portland is burning to the ground. And have a judge like that judge ought to be ashamed of both California and Oregon requested a temporary restraining order leading to the current stalemate over the commander in chief's attempt to deploy troops to Portland to help secure the city following ongoing protests at an immigration processing center there. In the meantime, it's a new week and a new opportunity for lawmakers on Capitol Capitol Hill to come together and end the current government shutdown. The Senate is set to hold a fifth vote today on a stopgap funding bill to reopen the government and keep it funded through late November. President Trump, by the way, reportedly putting mass firings of government employees on hold until after today's vote. That's the word from Trump economic adviser Kevin Hassett. If the president decides that the negotiations are absolutely going down nowhere, that there, you know, there will start to be layoffs. But I think that everybody's still hopeful that when we get a fresh start at the beginning of the week, that we can get the Democrats to see that it's just common sense to avoid layoffs like that, to avoid the $15 billion a week that the Council of Economic Advisers says will harm GDP if we have a shutdown. We'll, of course, be monitoring the happenings on Capitol Hill and we'll of course, let you know how today's vote ultimately goes. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by. Tracy, good morning. Hey, good morning, Terrence. You know, millions of Americans experiencing very warm temperatures to start off this October week. We're talking daytime highs in the 80s and 90s. So feeling quite like summer. But behind this powerful cold front, temperatures are on the cool side for the mountain west. So 50s and 60s and widespread frost and freezes alerts in place. So areas like Chicago, you're going to be impacted by this cold front over the next 24 hours, dropping from daytime highs in the 80s down to the 60s. Now, coastal areas, especially Florida, has an onshore flow and we're going to be battling that onshore flow and the king tides. So coastal flooding going to be a big concern up and down the east coast as we have a supermoon tonight, Terrence. So, Terrence, did you know we have four supermoons in a row the next four months coming up? Really? Okay, so excuse my ignorance, but what is a supermoon? So a supermoon is when the moon is in its orbit and that it's at that part of orbit when it's closest to the Earth. So it seems bigger and it looks bigger. Okay. Yeah. So get your camera ready. I'll be looking up tonight. Mm. Yeah, I'll be looking up tonight. Thanks so much, Tracy. Supermoon things you learn here on Sunrise. Thanks, Tracy. We'll talk soon. All right, let's get over to David. David, am I the only one that was ignorant and had no idea what a supermoon is? Not at all. I would like to know. No, I didn't know and now I know. Okay, I'm smarter. I feel better now because I was like, I probably should know this, but I have no clue what that is. All right, well, now we both know. All right, well, from a super moon to a super shutdown. Actually, not a very super shutdown. It's now entering another week. T. Bates. But despite President Trump's warnings about vast federal layoffs and the possibility of eliminating, eliminating, excuse me, entire agencies, Senate Democrats still refusing to pass this House approved funding extension. They're going to take another vote today. That's going to fail. Democrats are demanding repeals of health care spending cuts and extensions of Obamacare subsidies before they're just going to even lift a finger. With millions of Americans at risk of losing health insurance if Democrats get their way, the pressure clearly is on. And there is the countdown clock, Schumer's shutdown. Here with reaction on the latest is Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany. Congressman, thanks for being here. So paychecks for some federal employees are going to go out Friday, which is interesting, but those that are furloughed won't be receiving one. So you wonder if something like that might kick start a deal. What do you think? Now that the government shutdown is entering another week, who holds the power here to end it? Good morning. Yeah, good morning. You'd sure hope that it would end today. I mean, this is all on Chuck Schumer and the Democrats. They can decide are we going to have our government open or not. One of the things my constituents have said to me regularly, would you just send single issue, single subject bills rather than putting all kinds of add ons on it? That's exactly what we did in the House. We passed a continuing resolution, very simple, to the Senate. They've refused to deal with it. They need to deal with it. They want to add funding for illegal aliens. They want to add what, another trillion or more in debt to the American debt that is led to the inflation that we've had. I mean, they want to take away $50 billion from rural hospitals. A district like mine that has a lot of rural hospitals that need help. We put that in the working families bill and they want to strip it out from There they should just pass a clean continuing resolution and then we'll come back and get to work on all those other crucial issues. Congressman, where we are today is unfortunately epidemic. It's something that we continue to do. It's cyclical, if you will. And it seems to me at the heart of all of this is getting back to funding all of the appropriations bills, which is the constitutional duty of Congress. But we've neglected to do that. How do we get back to that point so we don't end up having to pass continuing resolutions year after year, cycle after cycle? The purpose of the continuing resolution that we just passed was to give us seven more weeks through about Thanksgiving to be able to complete the appropriations process. So that's been short circuited now. I can't remember, Terrence, how many, but I think there's like four or five of the 12 appropriations bills that have been completed by the appropriations people in the House. And they just need another seven weeks to hopefully get all 12 of them done. And we would do the process as it should be done, as you just alluded to. Now Democrats in the Senate are slowing that process down and preventing us from being able to complete it. Congressman. Congressman, I'm sorry, Dr. Gina, I hear you and I'm sensitive to what you're saying, but there are so many Americans and we see it in our chat, in our viewers tell us all the time this should have been done. It seems that we've continued to kick the can down the road. Road. It's not like this is a one off. This has happened for several cycles. No. Am I misunderstanding something, Congressman? So no doubt about it, I've been in Congress for five years and we have not completed the budget process. This has been going on for over a decade. It needs to stop. I remember when I was in the state legislature, we did our work on time when I sat on the Joint Finance Committee. There's no reason the federal government shouldn't do that. Also. Yeah, it was 1997 is the last time. Thank you. Completed. Congressman, before you go, we want to get your take on the latest from the FBI. Director Cash Patel dismissed an agent that displayed a pride flag in a previous workplace. What is your take on that? What are you hearing about that? And what does it signal about the direction of the FBI right now? I think the signal is, and we had Director Patel before us in the Judiciary Committee just a couple of weeks ago. They are singularly focused on fighting crime. They've moved hundreds of agents out of Washington, D.C. where they weren't doing much out into the field to keep Americans safe. That is the sole focus that Director Patel has. Let's keep Americans safe. And all the other stuff that's extraneous, like what flag you want to fly, you just leave that at home when you come to work. Be prepared to help protect the American people. Congressman. Yeah, exactly. Congressman, real quick, before we get out of here, I do want to ask you about the House schedule time for first the this week. My understanding is you'll hear what get a 48 hours heads up from Speaker Johnson. Is that the deal? He's having a press conference in D.C. today on the shutdown at 10am but what are you doing there in the district and, and what are your constituents? How are they reacting to all of this? So. That's correct, David, we are. We have 48 hours notice that leadership will give us if we need to come back to Washington D.C. i sure hope that that happens. If the Senate Democrats, Democrats come to their senses here and pass that continuing resolution and then we'll be ready to go to work, finish those appropriations bills and be able to deal with other issues that are important to the American people. But yeah, I'm staying out in touch with my constituents and continuing work as usual. Congressman Tom, Tiffany and I'm assuming also a cheesehead, but thank you for being here today. Is that correct? You've got to be a cheese head, obviously. Thank you. Gotta be a cheese head. I grew up on a dairy farm. You gotta be a cheese head. That's right. All right, thanks again. Go Packers. Right. One of history's greatest aviation mysteries may finally be closing in on answers. Newly discovered photos from 1938 taken just a year after Amelia Earhart vanished appear to show a metallic object submerged in a South Pacific lagoon. Earhart A trailblazing pilot and American hero was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and inspired a generation of aviators. Researchers now believe the object could be the remains of the same plane she flew during her attempt attempt to become the first woman to circumnavigate the globe. President Trump recently announced plans to declassify all government records concerning Amelia Earhart's final flight. Here to talk more about what could be a major historic discovery is historian and author Bill Federer. Bill, welcome to the show. He is also the host of American Minute on Radio and Faith in History on tv. So good to see you, Bill. Terrence, great to be with you. So why don't you put in perspective how significant this potential find is historically and otherwise. Right. Well, you have Orville and Wilbur Wright, 1906, developed flight. 1927 is when Charles Lindbergh flew across the ocean Atlantic solo. And it was just five years later that Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Little background. Ann Lindbergh, who is Charles's wife, she also wrote a book called north to the Orient. She was flying over the Alaska and so forth. And then Bessie Coldman, she was the first black female pilot, and she was a contemporary during this time. So just a little background there. Well, Amelia Earhart, she went to Columbia University in New York. Matter of fact, she wrote a letter to her mother while she was a student in 1919. And when there was liberalism, she says, don't think for an instant that I would ever become an atheist or even a doubter, nor lose faith in the Episcopal Church's teachings as a whole. That's impossible. Right, but she was talking about, you know, the different liberal stuff taking place on the campus there. But she was a trailblazer. She set records. She was teaching aeronautical engineering there at Purdue University, but she wanted to fly an equatorial flight around the world. So instead of going up north where it's a little bit shorter, this would be the long route. And she was headed to Howland island, and there was some Japanese controlled areas there, and she was in that South Pacific area. But they think it was radio problems, that there were people waiting on Howland island for communication. But when you're that high up in the air and it's one teeny little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, there could have been weather or clouds, but the most accepted theory is that they ran out of gas and they had to ditch. Whether they survived the landing or not, not this little isolated island. There wasn't food or fresh water there. So they could have died there. It's a big mystery. For several years they thought, well, maybe they landed on a Japanese controlled island. And this was just prior to World War II beginning, so 1937. So just a few years before the 1941 Pearl harbor and Japan was expanding. But that theory has been pretty well debunked. So there now Trump has released records and they're wanting to do Purdue University paid for the plane and so they're helping to pioneer this effort to research around Howland Island. They've seen through satellite images and so forth some anomalies in the lagoon there. So maybe we'll get some answers to this. So Bill, I'm curious, the night at the Museum movie had Amelia Earhart story in there, right? Bill, I'm curious. In 20 seconds or so, how confident are you that this latest information, or at least this latest thought might turn up something that will give us more answers? Yeah, well, beans, it's so remote and it has not been developed. I mean they're finally, they're still finding Japanese planes from World War II and sunken ships. So it's pretty well untouched in that remote area of the Pacific. So I'm hoping that they find something because she is an American hero. Atchison, Kansas, where Benedictine University is, that's where Clarence Thomas went and my son went to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas for a while. But that's where Amelia Earhart was from. And so the whole country looks to this answer for this American woman hero in our history. Yeah, fingers crossed that something comes of it. Bill, always good to see you, my friend. Thanks so much for being here with us. Thank you, Terrence. All right. Well folks, we want to know what you think about all of this as well. Let us know on getter and rumble. Log on. Anyway, we're getting ready for the old opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in about six minutes or so. We'll of course take you to the NYSE for the opening bell. In the meantime, I can tell you that pre market trading looking very good. Look at our board here, all green all the way from top to bottom. Hopefully it stays that way for this day of trading. We'll get you there here momentarily. But now let's get you over to David Brody. David, good morning. Good morning. T. Bates. All right, time for our daily dose of dollars and common cents events. We've got American Sunrise, Early Edition host and the guy behind Jake's take substacks here with us, that would be Jake Novak. All right, Jake, you're on a bitcoin watch, so should the rest of us, I guess. What's going on there and why exactly? Good morning. Yeah, you know, bitcoin's also near all time highs. You know, Terrence just showed that board and included gold, which is getting really close to that $4,000 per ounce level that I predicted last week with you. It's going to hit it in the next few days. I think we're going there. But don't forget bitcoin, which has had a nice big Comeback. Bitcoin hit 125,000 over the weekend. It's almost there again this morning as you see on the board there. Thank you, control room. It was at 107, 106,000 just a couple of weeks ago. It's a big comeback percentage wise. You know, it's important to keep, pay attention to all this kind of stuff. You don't have to be a financial wonk, you don't have to read, watch Bloomberg or anything. I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying, look, you've got all time highs on almost every asset class right now. And so if you've diversified, you haven't lost any of the big gains. Just something to note, that's all. Well, why, why should we, what should we understand about bitcoin exactly? Like why is it going to an all time high? What are some things going on here? I know that the, the Trump folks, what is it? Eric Trump and all these guys, they're really, they're doing a lot there. What, what's happening exactly with bitcoin coin? Well, bitcoin has become an acceptable replacement for gold and gold still going up too, as another type of hedge against other things that are going on in the market. So when things start soaring elsewhere, you might want to say, hey, that might, there might be a bubble there, it might pop. And I want to put more money in something that could either be safer or will go up when the other thing goes down. I think all these asset classes, however, are going up because look, we're getting fed rate cuts, right, David? And that means the value of the dollar likely goes down a little bit. So you need more dollars to buy the other things. So whether it's oil, gold, oil is actually staying a little Bit calm because there's a lot, there's more supply, but gold's going up because you need more dollars to buy the gold. You need more dollars to buy the bitcoin. And it's a great way to hedge against inflation and things like that. That's a great explanation. Okay, so we now have the big beautiful bill that is now the big beautiful law signed by President Trump back on July 4th. The mainstream media, the news media continued to bash it then they, they've continued to bash it, but they've created their own fake narrative. Now there seems to be finally a crack in that facade. Explain that, Jake. Yeah, I mean, look, even if you don't like President Trump, there was some great things that were in the big beautiful bill for the American economy. They suppressed it as much as they could. I talked about this one thing a couple of times with a few of my guests during the whole debate about the bill. Remember, that was a long debate. It wasn't just the signing of the bill. It took a while before it even got to the President's desk. We now have the mainstream news media, financial news media, in one article over the weekend, just one, I used to work there, cnbc, saying, oh, by the way, there's something in the big beautiful law that gives you up to a 100% deduction if you're a small business on the equipment that you buy for your business. So it could be a laptop, it could be a truck, it could be a bunch of things. A 100% deduction? Are you kidding me? The old deduction was 40%. This is a, a huge help. Now only small businesses can can get this. This isn't a giveaway to billionaires. I hate when they say that. This is the Same President who 27, 2017 got the standard deduction doubled for everyone. Like it was the greatest lower middle class tax break in the history of this country. That was repeated and extended with the big beautiful bill. Big beautiful law. It's just amazing to me, even MAGA people don't talk about this enough. They should, we should all start talking about these taxes, tax policies that aren't for billionaires that are making a big difference. Finally a crack in the facade in the mainstream news media. They should have been telling all the American public about that small business deduction. It is a huge deal and it's a game changer. I got 10 seconds. When do you think we might start seeing some of the effects of that big beautiful bill that's now law Q4, Q1 of next year? What do you think? Yeah, I mean, listen, small businesses where all the hiring is in America, big businesses don't really add anything. So I think we're going to see some help in the jobs report eventually with that. But we need to have this. People should know about it and it's a crime they didn't know about it before because there may have been some small businesses that could have taken advantage of this already and they didn't because the news media suppressed it. The applause is already underway on the podium there at the New York Stock Exchange, which means the bell is going to ring here in short order and the markets will officially open. We just showed you a few minutes ago how the entire board was green from top to bottom. At the moment there's really only one blemish now in pre market trading, but let's see if that blemish remains. So you hear the opening bell there, ladies and gentlemen, markets officially open and the blemish does remain. It's in the nasdaq, which just went back to the green moments ago. That just goes to show you how quickly things can change. So everything looking pretty good. The dow, S P 500 and the NASDAQ are up. Gold, silver, precious metals as well as crude oil and VIX are all in the green as well. For those of you who are investing, hopefully it's going to continue to be in the green and you'll make a little bit of money today. All right folks, let's just be blunt. Gold is up around 40% this year. That's not speculation. It's actually reality. If a portion of your savings isn't diversified into gold, well, you're missing the boat. Here are the facts. Inflation is still way too high and the US Dollar is still too weak. The government debt is also insurmountable. That's why central banks are flocking to gold these days. They are the ones who are driving prices up to record highs. But it's not too late to buy gold from the Birch Gold Group and get in the door. The Jazz Singer. That would be me. No, I'm not the Jazz Singer we're talking about here. It was on this date, 98 years ago in 1927, that the landmark film the Jazz Singer premiered. Ending Hollywood's silent era, it became a box office hit. Hailed as the first feature length talkie, the movie contained only about two minutes of synchronized dialogue with the rest conveyed through traditional titles. It was a major milestone for one of America's favorite pastimes and a game changer for cinema. More American Sunrise coming your way in a moment. Wait a minute. You ain't heard nothing yet. Her team stopped at a village hall just to use the restroom. A man held the door shut. If you can even imagine Illinois officials. And that's not just rude because of her title. That's rude because she's a woman. Like, who does that? Illinois officials say she showed up unannounced, but last we checked, you don't need an appointment to use a restroom. I don't know, guys. And that she has been trusted by the President of United States. Right. To do her job. But the fact that a guy would hold a restroom door access to a restroom closed to any woman, to me, is completely offensive. David. Well, okay. Woman or. Or man, honestly, and quite frankly, a man in his 50s who might have a few issues, if you know what I'm saying. But the point is, is that. Sor. Sorry I went there. All right. A Little Too Close to Home by Frank. David, I'm sorry, You'll have to excuse me. I've got to run real quick. Mother Nature calls. Yeah. Now, let's just quickly transition pivot from what I just said. Hopefully no one will remember. And hopefully the cameras weren't rolling. But. So speaking of the cameras rolling, to me, it's interesting that they had the cameras rolling here for this. So clearly, my guess is they were denied entry. They tried again and said on the try again, we're gonna. We're gonna roll the cameras on this, you know, to document it. And good for them that they document it. It's ridiculous. T. Bates. Yeah. You know, and for me, this comes down to, first of all, it's a public building, so people should be allowed access. If it was after hours, that's something else. But this is also a cabinet secretary. Secretary. No, Dr. Dean, I get your point about chivalry, but I'm gonna set chivalry to the side for a moment and just say this is a cabinet secretary. Right? Is right. You may. Even if the building is closed, if someone is in there, you open up the door for her to let her in and do whatever she needs to do. What if, you know, like, would this person have done the same thing if she were in danger? Say there was someone shooting potentially, or a threat against her? Do you hold the door closed? No. She's a Cabinet secretary. Open up. Let her in. Yeah, I think set this cabinet secretary thing aside and just basic chivalry. But anyway, there's this Nome taking a swing at the NFL over its pick of Bad bunny for the 2026 halftime show, saying ice will be at the super bowl enforcing the law. Take a listen. What is your message? The NFL, what is your message to Bad Bunny? Will there be ice enforcement at the Super Bowl? There will be, because the Department of Homeland Security is responsible for keeping it safe. So I have the responsibility for making sure everybody goes to the super bowl has the opportunity to enjoy it and to leave. And that's what America is about. So, yeah, we'll be all over that place. And I can't. We're going to enforce the law. So I think people should not be coming to the super bowl unless there are law abiding Americans who love this country. And you message the NFL with this decision. It seems like they were trying to send a message to the Trump administration. Well, they suck, and we'll win and God will bless us and we'll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day. And they won't be able to sleep, but they don't know what they believe, and they're so weak. We'll fix it. Thank you. Thank you, Madam Secretary. Whoo. A little strong for the left to take their T. Yeah. You know, I'm like, she's. I almost feel like the deck is stacked against her. Of course, she's. That's. Her job is to help secure the super bowl and any sort of evil. And so what she's saying is, we're going to do our job. We're going to secure it. If there are people who here illegally, then they're going to be arrested. But we're not going there just for that. We're going there to secure this massive event, which is the job they're supposed to be. And I feel like people are making a mountain out of a molehill, David. And just to be clear, so everybody understands the whole Bad Bunny thing, right? So he's from Puerto Rico. He's a big reggaeton superstar down there. And quite frankly, a lot of his music is very popular in America. He will not do concerts in America because he knows, he has said this publicly, that if he does a concert in America, he believes that ICE will be there to round up some of the folks that are going to the concerts. And you know what? He's right. He. Trust me, he's right. And so that. That's the controversy. But, Gina, I know you're devastated that he is not touring the US So I wanted to, you know, lay that down gently for you. So take. Take it. Whatever you need to do to. Here's the deal. I usually try to do homework on issues, you know, if they're a little unfamiliar to me for this show, I haven't even bothered. I still don't know who they are. I still don't care who they are. I'm used to the left doing woke things like this, and I honestly, I just don't care. But you love bunnies. You love bunnies, though, overall, I do love bunnies. Thank you, David. I actually have two rescue bunnies at home. They're Senior bunnies. One is blind. They are so cute. I wish you guys could see my bad bunnies. They're really cute. All right, so, you know, the challenge will be when it comes to the whole immigration thing, I would think that the challenge would be in a crowd like the size that typically goes to the super bowl identifying someone. And so I suspect that the focus will be on general law enforcement. Excuse me. And if that general law enforcement capacity happens to yield or send agents across someone who's in this country illegally, then of course, the law enforcement would move on that as well. But it seems to me, and David, please, if you have more information, do correct me. It seems to me that the primary job of ICE and anybody else who would be deployed to the super bowl would be a public safety function in general, which if it happens to net an illegal immigrant, then of course they will deal with that as well. Yeah, that's part of it. But I'll just be quick on this, which is that they'll have tips. They'll have tips of who's there. They're not, you know, they're not looking for necessarily just people that are showing up random randomly. They're. They're looking for certain people that they'll know that would be there. We got to move. But yeah, yeah. And I do name my rescue bunnies after people in our chat. Just saying. All right, changing gears now. My bad bunnies. Tomorrow marks two years since October 7th attack when Hamas terrorists slaughtered more than 1200 Israelis and took over 240 hostages. Some still remain captive. This is just almost unthinkable. Joining us now is someone who has lived through the personal hell of what it is like for your loved ones to be one of the kidnapped. Liz Hersh Nitfali Rather is the great aunt of released little 3 year old Israeli hostage Abigail Moradan. She is now a hostage advocate and she is author of Saving Abigail. Liz is also the host of the Capital Coffee Connection podcast. Liz, you've been on the front lines of this cause. Your Little great niece, 3 year old Abigail Mouradon, was among those taken and later freed. As this anniversary approaches, what do you want Americans to remember? Well, first, thank you for having me. And I want Americans to remember that October 7th was April terror attack and it did happen in Israel and it happened to my family. My niece and her husband were two of the 1200 who were slaughtered by these Hamas terrorists. And Abigail, three years old, was one of 250 who were kidnapped. But there are thousands of stories and the paragliders that you're showing there actually landed into our kibbutz, into our community. And my son, my nephew, before he was murdered, took photos of them. And so I just want people to understand this is real. These are true stories. And we've been so focused, and rightfully so, on bringing home all of the hostages. There are still 48. But what I want people to know is that tomorrow marks. It's not even an anniversary because it's so sad and it marks a terror attack in Israel. And people need to know this could happen anywhere if we allow it to happen one place. Yeah, there's no doubt about that. So, Liz, what about some of what's recently been going on? President Trump saying Sunday, 6pm that's come and gone, that deadline, but they're in Egypt now discussing all of this. How do you make sense of this all and what do you hope comes from this? I mean, do you really think. I can't imagine Hamas, excuse me, Hamas is going to agree to all of these 21 points. Look, the first thing we have to do is get the hostages home, and there's 20 points. But I think that the focus and I believe that President Trump, since January 20th, when we as hostage families, stood on stage at the inaugural rally, confirmed and kept repeating his commitment to bringing home the hostages with Steve Witkoff and others in his administration. And here we are now. And since March, there hasn't been a release of hostages. What is good about this one is that he has the support of the European nations and the Gulf nations that are all saying that the hostages have to be released and Hamas has to go. And what we also see is that he has put pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu to get to a place where he has the political will and he has the ability to get the Qataris and other Gulf nations to put pressure on Hamas and the other pieces, there are 48. All of them will come out and there will be prisoners, prisoners with blood on their hands. That will come out, too. But that at this moment, President Trump is 100% committed. And that is the thing that we need in order to get this deal to go forward. How confident are you that this deal will be lasting? I'm not going to lie, and I don't want to put my perspective on you, but I have very little faith in anything that Hamas says. I suspect you have a similar perspective, but please, I don't want to speak for you. Yeah, no, listen. When Abigail's release took place, there was a ceasefire, and on the first day, she did not get released. But Other women and children did. So you were like, okay, great, we're moving. Second day, she wasn't released, but we also saw women and children being released. She was released on the third day. But until you see your loved one in the arms of family and in the arms, I didn't see until I saw Abigail and my niece and my sister in law's arms, I didn't believe it was true. But then it broke down after five or six days. Hamas broke down, Israel broke down, and there were no hostage releases for a year and a half. And then again, at the end of March of 2025, it stopped. And so what I know is that, yes, we are dealing with a terrorist organization. But what I also can just keep reminding people is that we have President Trump working day in and day out with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and Marco Rubio and that team. And they are focused on bringing home 48 people to end this war and stop the fight. Liz, we only have about 15 seconds, but I have to ask how your little sweet niece is doing? And how's your family? Yes, thank you for asking. Look, my family, one day at a time. It's a trauma, it's a tragedy. These parents are not coming back, but they're being raised by my niece and nephew and their kids. And it's a family of six beautiful children. Abigail started first grade. She's a beautiful child. All of these cousins that are now siblings have been through trauma, but you know what? They are loved. And we are giving them everything they can to be able to have a future that we want for all of our children. So thank you, Liz. Thank you. Love to your family. Prayers for the remaining hostages. The day of terror tomorrow, not an anniversary of any sort. Great reminder, Liz. Thank you so much. Thanks, Liz. Trevor, we love hearing about Sacred Human and all the innovative things you're doing. One of your products, you just can't even keep in long enough to send some to me. I'm teasing, I'm teasing. But it is your tallow products. These are going fast and you're still in development on new products. Tell us. Yeah, great to see you, Dr. Gina. And I will send you a jar soon. So, as you had mentioned, our new towel moisturizer keeps selling out. Luckily, we're back in stock and our team is all hands on deck. So we don't plan on, on selling out in the near future again. So we should be all set there. But also we get a lot, a lot of questions just in regards to how it compares to other moisturizers on the market. So I thought I would just touch on it real quick. But for anyone that doesn't know, just a little background on the moisturizer, it's made with two ingredients, which is the 100, 100% American grass fed and finished beef tallow. And then we pair it with the Ramenuka honey from New Zealand. So that's it. There's no preservatives, there's no food dyes, no seed oils or synthetic junk. And tallow is really amazing because it's almost identical to the natural oils that your skin produces and absorbs much more deeply and actually nourishes the skin as opposed to just sitting on top of it, which unfortunately is the case with a lot of other moisturizers on the market. It. But then to take it a step further, tallow is also loaded with vitamins like vitamin A, D, E, K, which your skin needs to stay healthy and radiant. And then as I had mentioned, we just pair it with the Ramenuka honey, which is a naturally occurring antibacterial, anti inflammatory and healing remedy. So it's pretty powerful. But it'll also do things like help with eczema for anyone that has that also helps reduce redness and just lock in moisturizer overall without clogging your pores, which is pretty amazing. And if you want to compare it to other moisturizers on the Market. The issue with those tends to be that they can be effective in their own right. But they're usually full of synthetic ingredients and things like alcohols and fragrances, which can unfortunately damage your skin barrier over time. So again, we just give you the raw natural ingredients. And what's amazing about the tallow too is that it's intended for both men and women and you can use it pretty much anywhere on your body. So a lot of people like to use on their face. That's where I use it as well. But you can put on your hands, your neck, your body, wherever you see fit. But as I had mentioned, it's just a great product overall. You can go through some of our reviews and people have been leaving some great feedback about it and it goes on super easily. So I encourage people to check it out. Yeah, absolutely. And in just the 10 seconds we have remaining, what I love about your company is that you are a family. You can't fill my order because you're so busy filling customers orders because you really are a family and friends run company. Speak to that very quickly, please. Yeah, yeah, definitely. We're still very small. And as a, as you had mentioned too, our tallow is handmade. We have a small team in Idaho that hand produces every jar. So that's why we tend to sell quite often is because it takes some time to actually put the jars together, formulate it and then package it off. So we're, we're always happy to work as hard as we can to fulfill the orders, but it does sell fast and we do our best to keep it in stock. But also, as I forgot to mention, use code Sunrise at checkout if you do want to place an order for 10% off. And speaking of sunrise, more to come on American Sunrise. Thank you so much, Trevor. It is time now for our Sunny side Up and in the Pan. Today in Cornelius, North Carolina, a local steakhouse is breaking new ground by becoming autism friendly. Peninsula prime, owned by Jim Gordon, created the program inspired by his own daughter who has autism. To make dining out less stressful, the restaurant provides families with sensory bags containing items like stress balls, fidget spinners, poppet toys, and ear plugs. The restaurant also offers picture menus allowing guests with autism to point to the food they want. Promoting independence, families can keep the sensory kits, making every visit easier and more comfortable. Now experts and parents say this effort makes a huge difference. Nancy Popkin from the Autism Society of North Carolina says it means that families finally have a place where they can enjoy a meal without fear of meltdowns or stress. I'll tell you what, as a mom of a son with down syndrome, I'll not only tell you this is super cool from a customer perspective, but I hope they'll consider hiring some of them. My son makes breakfast every single day in a public place and does a great job. And then he comes home, guys, and guess what? He can cook, he can clean, he could do all the things that he's learned at his job. So it's really an amazing all around thing. But I am so happy they're doing this tea. Absolutely. I think that's awesome. Your idea of helping give some of the young people who are dealing with various challenges a job, I think that's a great idea. And it's just an inclusive environment because you're probably sitting there with other families who may have similar challenges that you're dealing with, and no one's sitting there judging you. We all understand. And I would argue that there are probably some people who are a little bit more sensitive to those challenges, to what may be happening around you. David. Yeah. Love these type of stories. Community to the rescue. Gina, you talk about it all the time. Community is pitching in. Yeah. And it's also, I bet it's a place where moms and dads can meet and talk to other moms and dads who are going through some of the main challenges, but perhaps even more importantly, where people feel like they have a friendship. Community. So that's really cool. I hope someone will do that here in Florida. I'm going to North Carolina on a book tour pretty soon. I think I'm going to go try to check this place out. Yes, it's on the lake, so you'll like it. Cornelius is on the lake. You'll love it. Terrence, you get me on a lake and I love it. It's that easy.
