Ahead on American Sunrise, Jeffrey Epstein's victims speak out later this morning. They're going to hold a press conference where there'll be new details, more on that and new Epstein files released this morning. Details ahead. Plus, the BBB part two. President Trump has already signed the one big beautiful bill, but is another one coming soon? It's in the works. Details ahead. And see you later, Jerry. New York Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler says he's leaving Congress. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. FYI, the heartland of America devastated this morning. And that is called sarcasm. More on why the Trump nemesis is calling it quits as American Sunrise starts. Jerry, right now. Good morning, America.

Emily Finn
Good morning, everyone. Thank you so much for tuning in to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn filling in today for Dr. Gina live from West Palm Beach. Let's bring in David brody in Washington, D.C. and Terrance Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, you guys. A lot of big news to get to this morning, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
Oh, lots of huge news. Of course, a lot of it is going to focus on the Jeffrey Epstein case and the release of files related to that. There's a news conference set for just a couple of hours. About 10 victims we're hearing are going to be speaking during that news conference conference. But David, all of this comes amid this Axios headline which says House oversight releases redacted batch of Epstein files. Those files were hearing about 33,000 pages or so released yesterday. Do you see this as being preemptive in advance of what we're expecting to hear today during that news conference?
David Brody
David, that's exactly what it is. It's all about the timing. The Jeffrey Epstein accusers, victims, I should say, excuse me, victims are coming out this morning. And so of course, this is going to be a document dump right before it. Because look, the truth of the matter is Republican leadership in the House doesn't want this discharge petition by Ro Khanna and Tom Massie to go forward. It's just that simple. So they're trying to prevent certain Republicans. They need six Republicans. They as in Ro Khanna and Massie, they need six Republicans to sign on to this thing. And they're trying to blunt that with saying, hey, we're releasing documents. DOJ is releasing documents. Yeah, there's about 33,000 that were released. But get ready for the whomp because most of it is already in the public domain. Exactly. You got about, you know, maybe a couple percent. A couple percent of it is some new logs regarding customs and immigration enforcement that's looking at where Jeffrey Epstein's plane was between 2000 and 2014. Other than that, it's a big womp, womp. But this is what Mike Johnson and honestly, President Trump and others are going to just say, which is like, look, we're releasing the documents. And my understanding it's going to be a trickle, trickle, trickle situation to say, look, no need for the discharge petition, they are releasing the documents. But there doesn't seem to be a lot of there there this morning.
Terrence Bates
Emily, doesn't this all raise more questions, though?
Emily Finn
Certainly I think there's been a ton of unanswered questions this whole time and that's why there's been such a demand from the American people for file releases and so much pressure on lawmakers to get this done. But, David, like you said, it was a major womp, womp this morning. I was reading only 3% is actually new information and nothing too significant. And I really don't think we're going to learn anything that new from the victims today. I think it's going to be really difficult and really hard to hear, you know, what they had to go through. But I don't know if anything new is going to come out because it's really just that accountability, Terrence, that people want at this point. They feel as though that there were wrongs that need to be righted in some way. There needs to be some justice.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, I want answers. I think many in the many American voters and many in our public just want answers. We want to know who was involved, you know, and we want justice to be served. Anyway, we'll be talking more about that over the next couple of hours, but in the meantime, let's talk about something positive, guys. Emily, would you give us our Bible verse?
Emily Finn
Absolutely. Let's check it out. Today's Bible verse is from Psalm 46:10. It says, Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth. A very comforting verse to start this morning. All right, in roughly two hours, as we were just talking about, we will hear from some of the Jeffrey Epstein victims during a press conference that is slated to take place at 10:30am Eastern Time. California Congressman Ro Khanna said these accounts will force lawmakers to vote on a bill making the Justice Department release the Epstein files. Many of these victims have reportedly never spoken out. And late last night, Congress released the first batch of the Epstein files as part of the Oversight Committee subpoena to the Justice Department. For more, let's bring in Rav chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn. Brian, what more can you tell us about all of this? Give us a preview of what we can expect to hear today.
Brian Glenn
Yes, good morning. A little bit later, about 10:30 at the Triangle just off the steps of the Capitol is where you'll have these survivors, these victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his, I guess spiderweb of people that sexually assaulted some of these individuals as young as 14 to 17 years old. And not just Jeffrey Epstein that you will find out that was involved with this, but his whole staff, people that worked for him, drivers, accountants, chefs, personal assistants, all provided assistance to sexual assaulting these young girls. And you're going to here's some heartbreaking stories. And this will be the first time that these women have spoken out and been public about this. And I, you know, I know Republicans, I know they are looking to have six more people sign on to this to be able to get this discharge petition. I know that Marjorie Taylor Greene has added her name to the list. I think Nancy Mace has done so as well. Some have spoken out about they met with the families and some of the survivors yesterday. They spoken out about their concern, but they have not confirmed that they will be on that signature list. So some people are just waiting to maybe go through the oversight and some of the other things that will take place. But you're going to hear some stories. And I think that's one part of this story, Terrence and David, that we have not heard yet. We've always heard things about Jeffrey Epstein and perhaps who was involved, but we haven't really heard from the victims. And this will be a very eye opening, I think, experience today around 10:30. And we'll have from what I understand from a programming note, we're going to dip in on that as soon as it starts.
David Brody
Yeah, a lot of public pressure coming against Speaker Johnson and quite frankly, the White House as well. All right, so time for the broken record portion of the show, Brian. The judges are up to it yet again, these liberal judges. Here is the Associated Press. Trump's use of the National Guard during the LA immigration protests is illegal. Of course, a judge is now saying that, of course, it's not stopping President Trump from going into other cities. He said at the White House yesterday, as you know, you were there, we're going in. Regarding Chicago, any sense of when that might happen? What's the latest?
Brian Glenn
Brian, that's a great question. I didn't really say when, but that is kind of classic Trump style, if you will. Tomorrow, could be next week, could be next month. And it's interesting to note that if, you know, he always likes to use Los Angeles as an example, that if he would not have sent the National Guard into Los Angeles, that city might have, quote, burned a lot of it. And of course, you've got the Olympics coming up. I think that's a big part of deploying the National Guard around cities that have you got World cup, you got FIFA coming up. So don't stop at Chicago. I think you could go to other cities as well that is experiencing an uptick in crime. And you've got these rogue judges. And he commented on it yesterday in the Oval Office that are making these decisions. But if you ask the public court of opinion, David, people that live in these cities want the National Guard there. There is no if, ands or buts about it.
Terrence Bates
Brian, I told you yesterday that we could play my, my question to you every single day until we finally get an answer. Congress obviously going back to work and they've got this government shutdown deadline looming. But the Hill has this headline which reads, Trump GOP faced tough choices for second tax bill. They obviously could use the reconciliation process again, but there's a lot on the line when it comes to not only funding our government, but also trying to for the American people. And the second tax bill would be one of the many things on Congress's plate.
Brian Glenn
It would be. And that's one of the biggest wins, I think, in the big beautiful bill, even when that was passed, of the Trump tax breaks. They do have a lot of work to be done. And there's a lot of things that we've got to point out in this previous budget that many Trump supporters voted against. There's a lot of things that are still in this budget that need to be taken out. And I think they need to, you know, sit down, look at those things, carve it out, make sure we fund the things in our government that need to be funded, but obviously take out some of the green New Deal things. And there's other items that are in that budget that simply weren't a part of the MAGA agenda. But you know, David, you pointed this out yesterday. I thought it was an excellent observation when this has been going on for years, kicking the can down the road. And I think eventually, I think the road ends. I think there is no pavement in front of the can. And you have to deal with it. You have to pick up the can and deal with it instead of kicking it down the road. It's going to be September. And we said this yesterday, September is loaded with news stories, everything from starting today at 10:30 all the way up to September 30th and all the things that happen here at the White House. I mean, President Trump is still heavily involved in the tariff situation. You've got the China, Russia, India, North Korean alliance. You've got this huge Chinese military parade yesterday that we saw. There's so many stories going on and so many important decisions that have to be made on the Hill and here in the White House. So buckle up, get the popcorn. Terrence, we talked about it. September is going to be the month. But keep an eye on, on that budget. And I'm with you. I think the American people are tired of just Congress just kicking the can down the road. I think they are. And I think that it's time for someone to be bold and stand up and go, we need to stop it. And if the government shut down, I know that's a very unpopular thing to say, but we said it before, I don't think the American people care that much if you shut them at the government down. I just don't from what I'm hearing from people. We see people all the time. They don't care.
Emily Finn
Well, Brian, thank you so much for breaking this all down for us this morning. Really appreciate your time.
Terrence Bates
Thanks, Brian.
Brian Glenn
All right, Emily.
Emily Finn
Coming up, we check out the hottest headlines from the RAV newsroom with T. Bates. And later, Iran is calling out the US on nuclear talks, trying to end uranium enrichment. But where is this all going to go? We analyze soon on American Sunrise.
Steve Gruber

That's the US Capitol, if I'm not mistaken. I've seen that building. I know it pretty well. Anyhow, another Beautiful day in D.C. by the way, 75 degrees and sunny or so. It's been like this for like two straight weeks. It's been great. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. Coming up, fun in the sun at the Gaza Strip. Wait, what? Look at this video. This is what President Trump and others envision as the new Gaza Strip Riviera, if you will, of the Middle East. Okay, we're going to discuss that because there are some new developments, including U.S. ownership of the area. Hello? Red flag. First, though, T. Bates standing by with the latest headlines from the real America's Voice newsroom, sponsored by amac.

President Trump is gearing up for battle. The war of words between him and Illinois Governor J.D. pritzker already underway following president's announcement on Tuesday that he's prepared to order federal authorities to move into Chicago as well as Baltimore.
David Brody
Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hell hole right now.
Terrence Bates
I would love to have him call.
David Brody
I would love the governor of Illinois. I'd be honored to take his call. All he has to do is say, sir, we need help. It's out of control and everyone knows it is. He's not kidding anyone.
Steve Gruber
No, I will not call the president.
David Brody
Asking him to send troops to Chicago. I've made that clear already.
Terrence Bates
None of this is about fighting crime.
David Brody
Or making Chicago safer.
Terrence Bates
None of it.
David Brody
For Trump, it's about testing his power and producing a political drama to cover up for his corruption.
Terrence Bates
The verbal jousting comes on the heels of a federal judge in California saying 47's deployment of national Guard troops in Los Angeles earlier this summer was illegal. You may remember National Guardsmen were sent into LA back in June in order to help put down violent protests over the ice. Illegal immigration protests. Well, we're just a couple of hours away from hearing from 10 alleged Jeffrey Epstein victims. They'll be speaking during a news conference this morning hosted by Republican Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie and California Democrat Ro Khanna. The lawmakers are pushing a measure to require the Justice Department to release all of its unclassified Epstein records. Today's photo op comes as House Republicans just released 33,000 pages of files on the disgraced financier. The material's release on Tuesday reportedly includes at least eight videos of police interviews, which with victims. Excuse me. From the 2005 and 2006. There are also audio recordings from various Epstein investigations. In the meantime, the House Oversight Committee is waiting for the Department of Justice to respond to its subpoena for documents. In fact, the Department of Justice has already turned over some of those. But the House Oversight Committee also looking for Delaine Maxwell's recent deposition with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. House Speaker Mike Johnson says anything beyond the efforts of the House Oversight Committee are superfluous at this point. Well, the fifth largest prize in Powerball history is up for grabs tonight. We're talking $1.3 billion. That's what's on the line. After no one has matched all six winning numbers in the lottery since May 31, Powerball officials say ticket sales have spiked in the face of such a rich jackpot. Powerball is played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. By the way, the largest ever powerball jackpot was 2.04 billion. That was back in 2022. The odds of matching all six numbers this time around are 1 in 292.2 million. That means you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning. Well, with that in mind, let's bring in Tracy Anthony from Weather Nation. She's got a quick check of our coast to coast forecast. Tracy. So look, if you happen to buy a ticket and if you happen to win, all I ask for is 1% of your winnings. Just 1%. Hook a brother up.
Nicole Kiprilov
You know what, my husband has been buying tickets the last few weeks. Now. It all makes sense. But I think you're right. You probably have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice.
Terrence Bates
Well, let's hope neither of the. Let's hope I get the ticket, the winning ticket and don't get struck by lightning. I'll go there. Good morning, Tracy.
Nicole Kiprilov
Yeah, we got to do the same back and forth, but want to jump into the forecast here. Across the country, the Central Plains and the eastern US all feeling temperatures a little more like October. So a push of fall air as temperatures trend below average for this time of year. So areas like the Twin Cities 15 degrees below normal. This is a powerful cold front that's going to continue to soak sweep across the eastern half of the country. So overnight temperatures are going to be dropping down into the 40s as well. So daytime highs are going to be in the 60s and 70s, overnight lows in the 50s and 40s. But that cold front will spark up the chance for some strong to severe thunderstorms between today and tomorrow. But other than that, relatively calm and quiet out across the eastern U.S. but as we head out west, we have heat alerts, we have fire alerts and red flag warnings and also some flooding concerns. So we're expecting several rounds of thunderstorm activity and that monsoonal moisture finally kicking into gear because it's been extremely dry out west. So we do have some moisture that's likely going to stack up. And Terrence here in Florida, south Florida in particular, we're expecting about 5 inches of rain over the next couple of days. So it's going to be soggy here.
Armin Curtian
All right.
Terrence Bates
Well, you guys stay safe and try to stay as dry as possible. Tracy, good to see you. We'll talk to you next hour. Up next, new details are emerging on the Trump administration's plan should it rebuild Gaza. So what exactly would a rebuilt and westernized Gaza look like? We'll show you. First, though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this day in 1929 that the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached an all time high at 381.17. The high was short lived though, as it was followed by the Great Wall street crash of 1929 that began on October 4th and it culminated on October 29th. We're back at a moment.
David Brody
Welcome back everybody to American sunrise. There's the U.S. capitol on a another beautiful day in Washington, D.C. at least beautiful from a weather perspective. President Trump's cleaning up. The inside details, by the way of President Trump's plan to rebuild Gaza are coming out now. The Washington Post reporting this morning the new proposal would give Palestinians cash to leave for 10 years, get out along with food as well. Among other things, the US would administer the area for at least 10 years during the rebuild. What did I just say? Administer the area for 10 years? I did. The first steps would be clearing debris. That's a good idea, among other measures. Yeah, a lot of debris over there right now. For more, let's bring in retired Navy captain and GOP strategist Armin Curtian. Armin, thanks for getting up early with us there on the West Coast. Look, I have no doubt that President Trump could rebuild the Gaza Strip. He's a builder at heart. But do we really want to get embroiled in a Gaza Strip rebuilding project from an America first perspective? I got a lot of issues with this morning, David.
Armin Curtian
Well, two things can be true at the same time. You remember Beirut was the beautiful area for so long, which is the Riviera of the Middle East. So it is true that coastal area is very, very pretty. It is also true that it is not a piece of territory that the US Wants to administer as part of its government. So if Israel is going to go in and take over that area, which I'm not necessarily sure is necessarily the best idea for Israel either, then maybe at some point in the future you bring in a lot of American companies there and they could build their resorts. But for the US to administer this Territory, It's a really bad idea. Plus the appearance of us, for lack of a better term, colonialism or imperialism, which I don't necessarily agree with, but that perception could be there for a lot of the Arab League or other nations in the Middle East. It's like, why is the US gaining a foothold in the Middle East? And the long term consequences of that I think are going to be quite negative.
David Brody
And let me just quickly say this is ridiculous because to, to me, first of all, the Palestinians think that's their land. Oh, this just in. It's not. But whatever, they think it's their land. So I get what Trump is trying to do here. You know, hey, give him some cash and they'll get out. Well, I don't think so. Unless I'm missing that they're dying over this land, I don't think they're going to just say, hey, you give me some money and I'm out of here. I don't know, I don't see it. Go ahead, guys. I know we have other questions, but.
Terrence Bates
No, I just wanted to add to that really quickly. I mean, if I can. It seems to me as an outsider looking in, that if this were to happen, it also would make it a target for terrorists. Given the sentiment of Palestinians and of other Arabs, it seems to me that this would be an easy and a close target for them.
Armin Curtian
No, you're absolutely right. For any excuse, for any reason, or just the fact that there's Americans there, you are putting folks in danger. It is a beautiful area. And if you can come up to some kind of cooperative agreement that all sides agree to as to how this lands will be administered going forward peacefully, without Hamas, without a terrorist presence, perhaps some sort of international governance, you know, similar to what was done with maybe Shanghai a long time ago, then perhaps this could be an area for great economic power and influence for the Palestinians. It could be a lot of money for them. It could really help invigorate the area. But absolutely, I agree with you. This is not an area or piece of land that the US Wants to be necessarily in control of or administering from a government perspective.
Emily Finn
Well, that video that Trump released certainly got a lot of attention. But I do want to move on to other headlines here. Armen Iran is calling out President Trump on nuclear talks. Officials argue that joint US Israel strikes have already damaged Tehran's program. European nations have backed Washington with sanctions, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the goal remains clear. No nuclear weapons for Iran ever. But diplomacy is still on the table. So the question is, can this approach deliver real stability in the Middle east, or does Iran's response signal more trouble ahead?
Armin Curtian
Well, let's take a look. What's going to happen today? Iran is going to be appearing along with the, you know, the leaders of China, North Korea, Russia, India and Myanmar as part of a military parade, as part of this new, as what's been called axis of upheaval, or basically a new axis or alignment against the west and specifically against the United States. Once again, I'll say that Iran is not going to give up its nuclear weapons program peacefully. I never believed it, and I always believed it had to be taken out militarily. However it was going to happen, Iran is going to continue to try to use its influence along with its new neighbors. Say maybe we don't necessarily need the West. Maybe we can operate internally between us and bring other nations in that are perhaps tired of seeing the US Trying to have its way around the rest of the world. You know, Iran wants to call out the US on nuclear talks. You know, they can do whatever. President Trump genuinely does want to have a peaceful resolution to Iran's nuclear program. And, you know, if anybody can do it, it's him. But I'm not so sure that Iran is willing to give it because it's basically all that they have right now at this point that is, that is a sort of a bulwark or is their chip, their get out of jail free card in a sense of their position as more than just another nation with a lot of oil. This nuclear program is very serious. Frankly, I'm more concerned about Israel or, excuse me, Iran exporting their nuclear technology, exporting nuclear materials to other nations or perhaps terrorist organizations by using it for themselves.
Terrence Bates
That's an interesting point. So what nations, what groups would you see as potential buyers for, for any Iranian nuclear technology? And I assume kind of the underlying premise is that whoever it is would probably target the United States.
Armin Curtian
Certainly, you know, look at potential further cooperation between Iran and North Korea. North Korea has really good ballistic missile technology. Iran, you know, has very good, you know, a lot of centrifuges capabilities. Could there be some kind of cooperation between the two? Are you looking at maybe be some of some larger terrorist organizations. You know, Iran trying to basically rebuild its proxies in the Middle east with nuclear material, even if it's just a dirty bomb, not necessarily one that's, you know, can, can destroy a city, but one that can make a large section of a city uninhabitable for a very long period of time, you know, cooperation with Russia, cooperation with perhaps other countries that are, you know, in the Indo Pacom region that might want to align themselves with China, vice the US if there was ever any kind of conflict, Taiwan. So, you know, the possibilities are endless, especially if Iran says, hey, we'll also perhaps sell you some discounted oil from our country. You know, we'll, we'll work some, some kind of deal. So it's something the US Needs to be continuously perpetually worried about so long as this miserable, stinking religious theocracy is still in control of Iran.
Terrence Bates
And by Indo Paycom, you mean Indo Pacific. Correct. Just want to make sure when you said that I was like Indo Pacom, Indo Pacific. Okay, gotcha. Thank you.
David Brody
Thank you, Armin. Appreciate your analysis.
Armin Curtian
All right, thank you. Have a great day.
David Brody
You too. Coming up, a simple at home brainwave test could detect Alzheimer's years early. A potential game changer for the millions affected. We're back in a moment, everybody.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is time now for today's health news sponsored by the Wellness Company under the microscope this morning, a simple at home brainwave test could detect Alzheimer's years before diagnosis. Researchers at the University of Bath have developed a three minute fastball test that records electrical activity in the brain. While patients view images, it's been shown to spot memory problems linked to Alzheimer's and can even be done from home. With millions affected and new drugs most effective when the disease is caught early, this breakthrough could be a game changer for early detection and treatment. Now, a new administration in Washington D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken healthcare system. The reality is, however, that there is only so much the government can do and that if we really want to make America healthy again, that starts at home with each and every one of us. And that's where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from TWC doctors all the time on this network and you know that their products are the gold standard for keeping you and your family safe and healthy. The Wellness Company gives you the opportunity to make sure you are prepared for whatever happens with their series of prescription medical kits. That's TWC Health./RAV and make sure to use the promo code RAV to save 10%. Now let's send it over to David.
David Brody
Thank you very much. All right, Joe SCARBOROUGH over on MSNBC's Morning Joe is calling on Illinois Governor J.B. pritzker to partner with the Trump administration on cracking down on crime in Chicago. Take a look at JB I actually.
Steve Gruber
Think that JB Pritzker should do something radical.
David Brody
I think he should pick up the phone, call the president and say, you know, and I know you don't have.
Terrence Bates
The constitutional authority to deploy the National.
Steve Gruber
Guard here and to police my.
David Brody
You can do that in D.C. you.
Terrence Bates
Can'T do that in Chicago.
David Brody
But let's partner up.
Steve Gruber
These are the most dangerous parts of my state.
Terrence Bates
We would love to figure out how.
Steve Gruber
To have a partnership that's constitutional, that respects the sort of balance of federalism between the federal government and the state government.
David Brody
And let's work together to save lives. Because right now, just, hey, nothing to see here. Moving along. No problem here.
Terrence Bates
Hey, Donald Trump, we don't need you. And you know the mayor talking about we're going to protect people's dignity in our city.
David Brody
We'll protect their lives.
Steve Gruber
That's protecting their dignity.
David Brody
All right, for more, let's bring in Republican strategist and a fellow at the Independent Women's Forum. That would be Nicole Kiprilov. Nicole, good to see you. Look, so here's the problem. Even if Pritzker picked up the phone, the priorities are totally different. I mean, he's going to want more federal money for agencies in Illinois or community grants and programs, things like that. All a waste of time. Trump wants boots on the ground, so to speak. Good morning to you.
Nicole Kiprilov
Your take and more money for illegal immigrants, too. We know Illinois has one of the most expensive programs to give benefits to illegal immigrants, but look, he would never pick up the phone because his Trump derangement syndrome is too strong. And it's sad because the reality is that in Chicago over this past Labor Day weekend, there were eight people who were shot dead. There were over 50 people who were wounded across 37 crime incidents throughout the city. And Pritzker just doesn't care. And in light of these dire circumstances, I can't think of a single cogent argument, David, to be made against President Trump's plan to send the National Guard to Chicago, whether Pritzker likes it or not. Pritzker is one of the worst governors in this country. He said that Chicago doesn't need the National Guard because apparently crime is down by 50%. And my question is, why isn't it down by 100%? Governor Pritzker, no elected officials should rest until crime in their jurisdiction is down by 100%. That should be the mentality. If you're Governor Pritzker or Mayor Johnson, you have the responsibility to keep every single constituent safe, period.
David Brody
Well, I think it's going to be a constitutional fight. You know, I know a lot of folks are saying there's a violation of the Posse Comitatus act, but. But the problem here is. Well, I shouldn't say the problem. I think what's going to end up happening is that Trump is probably, and it's a bold move, is going to invoke the Insurrection Act. I think that's what's probably going to end up happening. And when he does that, the problem for liberals and Democrats is, quite frankly, it is so broadly written back in the day, what was it, 100, almost 200 years ago or more than 200 years ago. So because it's broadly written, he may be able to get away with it. He's itching for a fight at the Supreme Court over this. And until then, I mean, look what happened in Los Angeles with the immigration protests. Even though the judge said, you can't do it, he didn't kick the troops out. He said, okay, the troops can stay. They just have to do it a little bit differently. The point is, is that we're itching for a legal fight here, Nicole.
Nicole Kiprilov
Yeah. And look, I think, you know, you bring up the Insurrection Act, I think there's a reason we. I'm not a lawyer, but I think there's a reason we have federal laws like the Insurrection act in the first place, and that's to intervene when states can't or refuse to protect citizens. And I think if denying help becomes a shield for inaction, then really what's the point of federal responsibility? Protecting liberty? It's not partisan. It's completely, I think, constitutional. And also look at the mockery coming from Pritzker and Johnson, and I think that's just outright disgusting. Pritzker mocked President Trump's actions as a reality game show. He's accusing Trump of staging a drama. But he isn't just mocking Trump here. He's mocking the very real families who are living in fear every day of violent crime, who he refuses to protect. You know, to the families of the people shot dead in Chicago. This isn't reality tv. This is a very real Very devastating crisis. And Trump is, is addressing it. He should address it. He said he has no choice. He used, he needs to do whatever he needs to do within the legal framework of this country to protect the people of this country. That's what he was elected to do. And he's taking that very seriously.
David Brody
Yeah, but we got about a minute or a little less than that. But take a look at this Hill headline. This cracks me up. Trump is saying that the portrait of the Biden auto pen to be unveiled at the White House. So he had this, he had this conversation with the Daily Caller in the Oval Office. He's like, hey, take a look. I'm doing this whole Rose Garden thing with all these portraits and I'm going to put the. A portrait, a portrait of the auto pen in the Rose Garden. And by the way, Nicole, I read through the transcript. I think he's very serious. I mean, this is not like something that he's kidding around with. I think he's serious. Curious to get your take. We got about 20 seconds or so.
Nicole Kiprilov
Well, look, the gravitas, I think, comes in when it's an intentional reminder of the biggest cover up in the history of this country. Right. And how the mainstream media, Democrats in power, media talking heads, everyone, staff members, Harris staff members, Biden staff members, were complicit in gaslighting the American people. This is one of the worst betrayals in the history of this country. And that's where the seriousness of this comes in. We can never forget and we can never allow for anything like this to happen again.
David Brody
No doubt about it. He is a piece of work for sure. I remember in 2016, I was on Morning Joe. Yes, I was on Morning Joe. And he called me after the show and he said, you weren't very nice to me. I said, what are you talking about? I was talking about Marc Rubio. He goes, I know you were saying nice things about Rubio. That's bad for Trump is what he said. And I said, you're a piece of work. And he started laughing. He knows he's a piece of work. All right, Nicole. No one like him for sure. We're not going to see that in our lifetime ever again or for lifetimes, plural. Nicole, great to have you.
Nicole Kiprilov
Thank you for having me.
David Brody
All right, you bet. Coming up, New York Congressman Jerry Nadler speaking about a piece of work in a different way, a large piece of work. He's leaving Congress after this term. Is anybody truly going to miss him? Well, we assess that next on American Sunrise.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. You're already drinking coffee, but is it really doing anything for your body other than giving you a quick caffeine spike? Rejuvenate. Coffee is different. It's clean, infused with caakg, a powerful compound studied for its ability to support longevity, cellular energy and metabolism at the deepest level. That means sharper mornings, no crash, better focus, and long term benefits your body will thank you for. I drink it because I care about my health, my energy, and how I show up for my family, for my work, and for the life that I want to build. So if you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually works as hard as you do. Head to1775coffee.com rav and try rejuvenate coffee today. Don't just wake up, rejuvenate. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it is time to stay awake, not woke. And today we are discussing the soon to be former New York congressman, Democrat Jerry Nadler. Nadler has announced that he is not seeking re election and will retire after his current term expires. Nadler also said he has thought about the need for generational change in the Democratic Party and he will respect that. The New York Democrat added he will not be directly involved in picking a successor. Nadler did play a key role in President Trump's first impeachment in 2019. For more, let's bring in Terrence and David. You know David Brody. I gotta go to you first on this one. I heard you're throwing him a retirement party. You're so sad to hear the news.
David Brody
I am. Here's a conversation that will not happen over the dinner table tonight. Boy, did you hear about Jerry Nadler? That's tough. That's rough. No, that's not happening. Just so you know yet, no one cares. Literally no one cares. Let me, let me correct that. Jerry Nadler's family cares. He's 78 years old. As they say in the south, bless his heart. I think the best thing he did in Congress was lose £100. I'll be honest with you. I think that might be it. Other than that, I've got nothing. T. Bates. Look, he's from New York, okay? I'm from New York. I'm from the Upper west side. He used to represent the Upper west side. Now he's down in the lower Manhattan. He is the quintessential New Yorker who basically is totally tone deaf when it comes to the machine shed in Iowa and other places across the country. Doesn't understand the heartland. I've been around the heart. I'm from New York, but at least I've traveled and been around and covered politics and seen. I've been to Iowa 41 times. Literally 41 times. I know the people. I'm a resident Iowan at this point. Anyhow, sorry. I digress. I'm talking about myself, which is not uncommon. T. Bates.
Terrence Bates
All right, so I'm gonna probably take some flack for this, for being ageist, but I applaud Jerry Nadler. He said that he sees the need for generational change. Translation. I'm too old for this. Beep. And so I'm leaving. That's the translation for that. But I think there's something good about that because we've seen too many people, Mitch McConnell, who've just stuck around way too long and really have just taken up a seat because they could and they haven't really done much. So kudos to Jerry Nadler for realizing, you know what? My time has passed. I'm out of touch. It's time to go. And, yeah, you may be mad at me, you may call me an ageist. Fine, I'll take that. But I do give him kudos. I think it's the right thing to do. And it's time to go. Jerry.
Emily Finn
Deuces See you, Jerry. Yeah, time to step down and make room for a new generation.
Terrence Bates
See? So I guess I just showed my age, right? Call saying Deuces, I just showed my age. I guess I'm a little younger than Jerry. N. Deuces yeah.
David Brody
Like from 12 years ago, 15 years ago. No, but I. But you make a good point. You make a good point. I mean, you know, at least he understood. Or another way to look at that was the writing was on the wall and he was going to eventually lose. But no, he was in a safe district. He was in a safe district. He could have, he could have retired at 108, but good for him, I guess.
Emily Finn
Goodbye, Jerry. See ya. All right. Coming up on American Sunrise, what can the Bible show us on how to keep our hope high even in the face of evil? We dive into that next on American Sunrise.
Steve Gruber
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is time now for our moment of faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus. Today, in a time when our nation is confronted with evil, chaos and wrongdoing, many ask, how do we respond? Pastor and former professional soccer player Jesse Bradley joins us with a powerful message that even in the darkest days, there is still Hope. Through faith, courage and community, we can push back against the darkness and lift up truth. This moment of faith reminds us that evil does not win. Hope and faith do. Welcome to American Sunrise. Jesse Bradley, so great to have you with us this morning.
Jesse Bradley
Thank you, Emily.
David Brody
Great to be here with you.
Emily Finn
Yeah. So you know the news of what happened in Minneapolis, this recent shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, it was something that hit home for me. I went to Catholic school for nine years growing up, and it's children that were the victims of this. I think about that community and just how much they're struggling. What kind of hope can you have in a moment like that?
Jesse Bradley
I grew up in Minneapolis, so when I heard the news, it hit close to home. And we grieve, right? Because God loves all children. And even in the hardest times, the hope of Jesus is indestructible. You're not less spiritual if you mourn. But evil reminds us that God is good. And even death reminds us that Jesus has overcome death. And ultimately heaven's in our home. But we know this. We need to surround those families with love prayer. We receive love from each other. That's how God works. And then also we turn to God because he's close to the brokenhearted. He's a refuge, strength, an ever present help in trouble. And God never runs out of hope. So we're not going to go into despair, but we're going to lift up our eyes to Jesus and then we're going to become part of the solution as well.
Emily Finn
Wow, that is really, really well said. It's really, you have to be an example to others and really show them that hope, you know, in your community, you know, you said God is good. I have to say something. At my jaja, he recently just passed away a few months ago, he used to say that all the time. God is good. All the time. All the time, God is good. I'm so happy you brought that up. You talk about this in your book as well, about the concept of hope and how important it is. Tell us more.
Jesse Bradley
Well, I was an atheist actually going to Dartmouth College and read the Bible for the first time in a class. It was assigned to us. And then there was one student named Mike who was a Christian. I just hadn't had conversations with Christians before. So I was reading the Bible and reading Mike. And what I learned is that it's all about grace. We don't earn or achieve God's love, we receive it. Jesus died for our sins and he's risen. And this is a personal relationship. The Hope of Jesus is infinite, available to all of us. And I said yes to that relationship and it transformed me. Then I played professional soccer in Africa. There was a tragedy. I was fighting for my life for one year, 10 years to fully recover. And I didn't find hope until I lost it. And in those moments, I learned how to go deep with God and I learned how to study the Bible. And God redirected my life into ministry. And this book is something I look back upon. And we can cultivate hope habits, we can grow in our faith. And this is a relationship to enjoy. It's an eternal relationship. And ultimately God is the source of all hope. God never runs out of hope. The Bible says he's the God of hope. And a lot of times people talk about self help, but really that's limited. And it's the help that comes from God that we truly need. And so receive God's love today. Don't resist it, but instead it will be the greatest decision if you follow Jesus.
Emily Finn
My gosh, you have such an inspiring story that's absolutely incredible to hear. And it sounds like the best self help book is the Bible.
Jesse Bradley
That's right, because you know, we wrote 28 Days of Hope justchoosehope.org and it helps you get in the Bible every day. And it's God's food for our souls. We need food for our stomachs, but this is nourishment. So with your family or friends, just go to justchoosehope.org, it's free. And just start each day. 28 Days of Hope. And there's no limits to what God will do.
Emily Finn
Jesse, thank you so much for being here today and sharing all of this with us. We so appreciate your time this morning.
Jesse Bradley
You're doing a great job leading and this is an excellent studio, so keep up the good work.
Emily Finn
Oh, well, thank you so much. God is good. All the time.
Jesse Bradley
All the time.
Jake Novak
God is good.
Emily Finn
We'll be back with the second hour of American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
David Brody
The second hour of American Sunrise. Epstein files released, but is it a womp? Womp? Last night, House Republicans released the first group of files related to sex offender Epstein. Is there anything new to be found in its pages? Stay tuned to find out. Plus, a new treasury report reveals China and the Mexican cartels are using America's own banks to launder drug money. Details ahead. And how is it possible that squad member and congresswoman Ilhan Omar's net worth has skyrocketed to as much as 30 million bucks just months after denying that she was a millionaire. Find out those stories and more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now. Good morning, America.
Emily Finn
Welcome to American Sunrise.
David Brody
Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Emily Finn
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Nicole Kiprilov
And I'm Dr. Tina.
David Brody
And welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody, coming to you from the deep state protected by the National Guard. Let's bring in Emily Finn in West Palm, filling in today for Dr. G and T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to both of you. And, Emily, I've got to tell you a great interview with Jesse Bradley. I just feel that God is going to use interviews like that because there's someone in our audience watching today that needed to hear those words. Great stuff.
Emily Finn
He was so awesome to talk to. David, what an inspiring story, going from atheist to someone who now, you know, preaches the word in his daily life. Man, he's great. I hope that everyone has a chance to check out his 28 Days of Hope challenge.
David Brody
Sure.
Terrence Bates
And just for the record, he likes me more than he likes David.
David Brody
I like soccer. I know you like soccer. You love soccer. I like soccer. Listen, I'm not going to stick around for a 00 game, okay. You know, 0. 0.
Terrence Bates
Wow. Whomp.
David Brody
Wamp.
Emily Finn
All right, then we. Then we'd watch.
Terrence Bates
That's definitely correct. He is a good guy. Definitely a good guy. And anointed for sure. Hey, guys, look, there's a lot of news to talk about this morning. President Trump putting Big Pharma on notice and demanding that drug companies justify the success of their Covid shots. He says the public deserves to see the data that Pfizer and others are keeping and hiding. Even the push comes as the FDA is limiting vaccine approvals. And the CDC is in a bit of disarray following its director being fired and top officials quitting. While 47 is reminding Americans that Operation Warp Speed delivered vaccines in record time. He now also wants transparency and accountability. His message is very clear. The American people deserve the truth, not cover ups. The crime fighter in chief also moving his agenda forward when it comes to keeping American cities safe. He says America must confront the crime and chaos that's destroying our cities. One of the ways he plans to do that is by reopening insane asylums in order to deal with the serious mental illness that's plaguing the streets in this country. In an interview with the Daily Caller, President Trump saying the country once had these facilities and never faced the level of street violence that we see today. He admits it would be expensive, but argues that it's far more costly to let dangerous people roam free. And making America's streets safer may actually turn out to be a bit of an uphill battle for the president. The war of words between him and Illinois Governor J.D. pritzker already underway following the president's announcement on Tuesday that he is prepared to order federal authorities to move into Chicago as well as Baltimore.
David Brody
Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now.
None of it.
David Brody
For Trump, it's about testing his power.
Steve Gruber
And producing a political drama to cover.
David Brody
Up for his corruption.
Terrence Bates
The verbal jousting comes on the heels of a federal judge in California saying that 47's deployment of national Guard troops in Los Angeles earlier this summer was illegal. You may remember National Guardsmen were sent into LA back in June in order to help put down protests over ice, illegal immigration. That's a quick check of your headlines. We'll have more headlines coming your way shortly. But first, let's get a quick check of your coast to coast weather with Tracy Anthony from our friends over at Weather Nation. Tracy, Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer and it's already starting to feel like fall in some places around the country.
Nicole Kiprilov
Exactly. And some areas feeling more like October. So we're talking the heart of fall. So temperatures dropping behind this cold front in the Twin Cities down to the 60s and overnight lows going to be down into the 40s. So we have a series of these fronts that will continue to work across the central and the eastern US and that's going to keep us below average for at least the next week or so. Now, with these cold fronts swinging through, we do have a chance for some strong to severe thunderstorms the next couple of afternoons, but a lot of the weather activity is out west areas like Washington under heat advisories. We also have red flag warnings, so fire danger is A big concern with a handful of fires sparking from lightning just over the last 24 hours, but also flood alerts with the thunderstorm activity out west. So, Terrence, the intermountain west. I know you're out in Denver. It's been relatively dry so far this monsoon season, but some of these storms definitely could cause some issues over the next couple of days.
Terrence Bates
All right, we'll be trusting you to watch it for us. Tracy, good to talk to you. See you in a little bit. All right, folks, let's get things over to David Brody now. David, just a reminder for you, our last guest liked me better than he liked you. I'm just going to put that out there. It's on the record. You know, it's no diss to you people. Just like, I'm sorry, David. No, you know, I'm not going to let you live that down.
David Brody
No, no, you won't. And there's going to be an anchor brawl today on American Sunrise. No, no, no anchor brawl. We love each other, T. Bates. We do. I mean, we love each other like in air quotes. Okay. A new treasury report reveals China and the Mexican cartels are using America's own banks to launder drug money. More than $300 billion in just four years, by the way. Officials say the networks fueled fentanyl human trafficking even funneled cash through the US Real estate casinos, assisted living facilities. It ran the gamut and was happening. Oh, by the way, did I mention this? Under Joe Biden's watch, while the left talks climate and pronouns, our enemies are getting rich, strong and deadly. President Trump warned us about China, the cartels and the open border. And this report proves, once again, let's all say it, Trump was right. Joining us now with reaction is the host of America's Voice live. That would be Steve Gruber. Steve, no surprise here. Good morning to you on this hump day.
Steve Gruber
You know, there's no surprise here. Look, that's why a lot of these, look, these big corporations like the open borders for a variety of reasons. Maybe they like it because they can get their money cleaned up nice and tidy and stacked in little, you know, nice little boxes of their cash when it's clean. Look, there's a lot going on with China right now. You look at the headlines, China, India, Russia all coming together. You have to wonder what's going on with India. They're making a deal to get more energy out of Russia at a discount. China doing the same. They continue to buy Russian oil at a discount. Look, if Russia comes back and says we're going to go back to the normal pricing on the world market. Let's say the war ends in Ukraine. That's going to drive the price of oil up from $65 a barrel to about $80 or $85 a barrel. That'll hit the American consumer. They know that, you know, so there's a lot in play here. Plus you've got, you've got North Korea in the mixture. There's just a lot of bad things going on in the world when it comes to China and the concern coming up here shortly, they're going to have the big meeting of the Chinese Communist Party. Some people wonder. Gordon G. Chang, who I spoke to just recently here, said he thinks that Xi Jinping could be pushed out by the military. He doesn't think he has control over the military anymore. China is a wild card right now. But I do not like what I'm seeing here with China lining up with Russia and India. And India. Be careful what you wish for. That would be my warning to them.
Terrence Bates
Steve, to your point, China is one global wild card. There are some other wild cards across Europe. Europe, let's take France for instance, it's preparing for what it's calling a, quote, major engagement by March of 2026. Some see this as a clear warning of possible war there in Europe. The French health ministry, in fact, ordering hospitals to be ready to treat thousands of wounded soldiers within days, even setting up facilities near airports and train stations. It's a stunning admission. And apparently Europe is now on guard for some sort of large scale conflict on the horizon. One would have to imagine it's got to be a fallout from Russia, Ukraine. Your thoughts?
Steve Gruber
My thoughts? Maybe they should have invested in their militaries over the last 50 years instead of relying on the United States to foot the bill for everything. There's one thought that comes to mind. I mean, in fairness, the UK doesn't even have a military. The UK's military is pathetic. France's might be the only one that can field an army, a navy and an air force. That's significant. Germany's okay. But look, NATO has neglected its own defense for decades and those chickens are coming home to roost. Donald Trump was right about that as well as David would say, look, Europe needs to get its act together when it comes to personal defense of its countries. Of course. How can you have personal defense to your country when you're allowing your borders to be overrun? Have you seen pictures from Paris recently? Or London? Good Lord. In Denmark. I saw a video yesterday. Maybe you guys Saw this, a Somalia. A Somalian immigrant screaming at a Danish guy saying, it doesn't matter what you think. We have 10 kids and you have one. Give us about five years, we'll be more of you of us than there are of you. I mean, this is What. There's only 5 million Danes, right? So they're, they're just, they're bragging about how they're taking over Europe. Thankfully, there's some pushback now in places like the UK and France. But look, these militaries are woefully inadequate because they neglected themselves for years and just sent the bill to Washington. Well, that's, that's going to create a problem in Europe. 27 countries. Some can defend themselves, most cannot. And what's going to happen? They're going to drag us back into a world conflict because once again, Europe has failed itself. And who do they, who do they come to in an emergency? You and me in this country? That's what happens, guys. That's my thought.
Emily Finn
Well, Steve, want to get your thoughts on one more headline here this morning? A report revealed a Democrat linked dark money network paying influencers up to $8,000 a month to push leftist propaganda online. The program, called the Chorus Creator Incubator, is funded by the 1630 Fund. It's a major Dem megadonor pipeline. And influencers like Olivia Giuliana. I haven't heard of her. She has a million followers, though, and she was paid to secretly parrot Democrat talking points online. Share your thoughts on this year, Steve. Doesn't seem right.
Steve Gruber
Well, of course they have to pay him. Nobody else would say it in their right mind. Nobody's gonna say it in their right mind at all. Here's a check. Can you say this really dumb thing for me? Here's $8,000 a month. Okay.
Terrence Bates
All right.
Steve Gruber
I'll say this for really dumb thing. You know, Communism is great. Yeah. Do I get my $8,000 as I capitalize on capitalism? There's a reason people 18 to 30 now favor the Republicans. By count them 12 points. There's a reason Republicans have a four and a half, almost 5 million person swing in voter registration over the last couple of years. Why? Can I be blunt, guys? Because Democrat ideas suck, right?
Terrence Bates
They do.
Steve Gruber
And communism sucks. I mean, and everybody knows that. If they would teach these poor little imbeciles about the Great Leap Forward, about the Bolshevik Revolution, about, you know, the Cultural Revolution and the sins of Mao and the sins of Stalin and the sins of, of Cuba and Castro, if they would do that and maybe just throw in some pole pot for flavor.
Terrence Bates
Right.
Steve Gruber
About how bad communism and socialism really is. Maybe we could help these kids. But the fact of the matter is nobody would parrot these incredibly bad ideas unless they're paid to do so. I mean, even those at MSNBC and elsewhere now realize that we have to do better. I mean, I mean, when Joe Scarborough says, you know, maybe Chicago should invite the President and the National Guardian, he's right. He's right.
David Brody
Yeah.
Steve Gruber
You know, it's time to get.
David Brody
And by the way, I've decided the line of the morning is throwing pole pot for flavor. That, that, I mean, that, that's good stuff. That's good stuff. Mr. Gruber. All right. A last, last thing. President Trump, you know, this guy, you got to love him. He's dissing President Xi of China on X, or on truth, I should say, because he was hanging with Putin and Kim Jong Un this week with his big military parade in China. So Trump on truth until and told Xi, quote, please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un as you conspire against the United States of America. This guy, you gotta love him. I have nothing else to say. That's my analysis.
Steve Gruber
I, I love it, too. Look, it's a clear. It's a shadow of the bow. Look, guys, I'm trying to work with you, but I don't have to. We go back to this cheap energy flowing out of Russia, going to China, going to India when that pipeline shuts off or Russia decides to go back to the world prices for oil and natural gas. China's going to get hurt. India's going to get hurt. So is the American consumer. Russia is playing games right now with the world economy. Nobody's paying attention. I am. We should be. Because when the price of oil, it'll shoot the price of oil up to 80, $85 a barrel. That'll mean $4 gas. It'll mean other issues with shipping and grocery prices. Pay attention, folks. China's not our friend. Russia is not our friend. And maybe India isn't much of a friend either.
David Brody
President, our Steve Gruber, thanks so much. As President Trump would say, thank you for attention to these matters. Thank you so much. Great to see you.
Steve Gruber
Thank you, guys.
Terrence Bates
Thanks.
David Brody
Dvg, Stevie G, the rapper cvg joining us today on American Sunrise. All right, coming up, the left pushing a sick theory that Trump faked getting shot. Yeah, and we're the conspiracy theorists. Even after it's been debunked, the lies are not stopping. Plus, how did congresswoman and squad member Ilhan Omar give new meaning to the expression get rich quick because how is it possible she went from quote, not a millionaire, her words to a net worth of $30 million in just months. Her family's firms, her family firms exploded in value. So did the questions. We're going to investigate all of that on American Sunrise when I learn to speak. And we're back in a moment.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm American Sunrise contributor Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar because new reports are saying that Omar is now worth as much as $30 million, which is a 3,500% increase in one year. Yes, you heard that correctly. That is reportedly on the heels of her husband's businesses in Washington, D.C. and California. This all comes after the Minnesota Democrat denied that she was a millionaire. I've heard of get rich quick schemes, but just wow. On this one, we want to know what you think. Let us know on Rumble or Get Her. Hop on and let your voice be heard. Speaking of money, coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell. An insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Sam.
Terrence Bates
All right, so I've just been told that this is Mulberry street in New York. The other commentary that came with that information was priceless. I wish you could hear it yourself. Colin, if you can pipe yourself in and give me some more of that, that would be awesome. I'm pretty sure our viewers would appreciate it. I don't know if he can though. Anyway, we're getting you ready for the opening bell here at the New York Stock Exchange. It's going to be ringing here in about seven minutes. I can tell you that the Dow is down right now, but the S P500 and the NASDAQ are both in the green at the moment. That's pre market trading again. We'll take you to the markets live here in just a little bit and let you know how things are looking once that opening bell rings and the markets actually get to trading. But now let's get you over to David Brody. David, can you give me your best New Yorker? You are a New Yorker. So, so take me home real quick. Give me the get out of here.
David Brody
Walking here, get about it, forget about it. Yeah. And by the way, the two I tell you this, I think I've said this before, the Two words that trip me up is can I take your order? And do you want more water? Those are the things that just trip me up every single time. Mulberry street, by the way, the San Geneiro Festival down in Little Italy. Been there many times, had quite a few. Zeppelin. Are they Zeppelies? Zeppelis, yeah. Anyhow. Yeah. Donuts. It's bad for the gut. Oh, I'm sorry. Are we supposed to. Am I supposed to move on? I guess I should.
Terrence Bates
I was cool with it. I. I'm all about food. Oh, and festival talk.
David Brody
That's true. All right, let's move on. Look, they gave me the single shot, which, by the way, my ego appreciates. All right, time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense with American Sunrise, Early Edition host and the guy behind Jake's take, substack. That'd be Jake Novak. Hey, Jake. So let's talk about Warren Buffett. I see Buffett and I think Buffet, by the way, but that's a separate issue for me. He has slipped up in a big way, but his friends all over the news media aren't going to take him to task for it. So you say this is all about the Heinz Kraft merger. Tell us. Explain. Good morning, by the way. Have I said good morning? Good morning to you. Yeah.
Jake Novak
Good morning. You're about to see something you never see on television, and this is the only time you'll probably see it. And that is you're going to have somebody on television who covers financial news who won't be kissing Warren Buffett's feet. Look, the guy has been a great investor over time. Yeah, he's been a great investor over time. I'm not trying to say he's not a great investor, but he really screwed up with the Heinz Kraft merger. Remember, that happened 10 years ago, very much because of pushes from Warren Buffett and that stock since 2015, David, down 60%. So yesterday, Heinz and Kraft decided they're going to have a divorce. They're going to split off their companies once again. And, you know, there were some people in the news media who mentioned, oh, this was Buffett's idea, but they didn't hold. You know, take him to task. They kiss Warren Buffett's feed, especially in financial news media. That includes Fox and Fox Business, of course, CNBC and these other places. It's just outrageous to me. They won't ever say an unkind word about him or criticize him, but I will. Not that I think he's a bad investor. Of course he's successful but he makes a lot of bad choices, and, and his politics are very disingenuous. Remember, he's against things like inheritance taxes because. And he's for inheritance taxes. He's against getting rid of the inheritance tax because he sells annuities. The man is just not a saint. He's fine. I don't think he's a bad dude, but he makes a lot of bad decisions. And here's the only place on TV you're gonna hear someone say, so. So there I go. I said it.
David Brody
Why won't they criticize him? Is it because he's an influential billionaire, that he's one of them? A liberal? I mean, what, what's, what's the deal?
Jake Novak
You know, in the early days of financial news TV, when it really took off in the 90s, the Warren Buffett interview was considered to be the biggest thing. And it did get big ratings. And so you had a bunch of people, people like Becky Quick at cnbc. Wonderful person, by the way. Really not a bad person at all. Liz Clayman. They are absolute. Their entire brand is. They get regular interviews with Warren Buffett and they just, they get down and they. And they kneel at his altar. And it's really scary for anyone to be treated that way, especially in financial news where, you know, you can't say, oh, this person's always right. And people lose money if you tell people those kinds of things. Warren Buffett was really wrong about the Heinz Kraft merger. I'd love to see him issue a public apology about it. It's not going to come, but he should, because people lost money. A 6, 60% loss in a stock over the last 10 years. That's rare, by the way. Most big companies are up a lot over the last 10 years, so that's a big loss.
David Brody
Yeah. Maybe they should change Heinz 57 to Hind 60 with an arrow going down. Yeah. Just something to think about. All right. You found yet another reason not to get an EV. I'm sorry, I'm cracking up because you were the EVs, which I agree with. Don't get me wrong, but this feels like a therapy situation. I may be wrong, but you and EVs do not get along at all.
Jake Novak
It's not my fault. If they would just stop with all the commercials and all the cultural push to get an ev, I would get off of this. But they. It won't leave me alone. So I found yet another thing. We just came out. They just came out with a study of insurance. If you have an EV, your insurance premiums are likely to be 49% higher than everybody else who has a gas powered car. 49% higher. Car insurance is already through the roof. I don't know if flow from Progressive or if the Geico Gecko can help me out on this, but 49% higher to have an EV. I mean, my goodness, the cost to own these things is just not worth it. And that's just another reason. But again, I will stop ranting about EVs if you stop, you know, if the media would stop pushing EVs down my throat, I'm sick of it.
David Brody
All right, I hear you. I feel like you're that guy. Was it, is it network where the guy's like, I won't take it anymore? Yeah, that guy. Okay. Oh, Albert Finney, by the way, I always think of him as Daddy Warbucks and Annie, but sorry, I don't know why I go there. He was also good in Aaron Brockovich. I'm sorry, I'm going into Albert Finney trivia. All right. The $1.3 billion Powerball jackpot, it is tonight. You've got a financial take. You want to know my financial take? I want the money. That's my financial take. Go ahead. What's your finish?
Jake Novak
That would be a good take. Well, first of all, I know who's going to win already. It's going to be Uncle Sam and the state governments who are going to take well over $700 million of this. Actually, well over a billion of it will go to them. If you win this lottery tonight, I hope you do, David, you will go away with maybe 300 million if you. That's plenty of money. But think about the amazing amount of money that's going to be taken away from it. But most importantly, David, I actually hope you don't play. I'd love for you to win, but I hope you don't play. Because as I've been reporting on my show, Early Edition, there is a scam involved in lotteries. These big hedge funds and foreign enemies of this country have figured out a way to print out millions of lottery tickets in a day. They are scammed. We know that for sure. In Texas, they won a lottery that way. Don't tell me they're not doing it here with the national lotteries. I'm telling you, I'm not. I'm not a prude. You want to gamble, go ahead and gamble. So it's not a prudish comment here. I'm telling you from a point of view of a scam, I don't think you can win. And so I advise people not to play these lotteries. Come at me in the getter chat if you want to, but I advise people don't play. It's a scam.
David Brody
All right, you got 30 seconds. Jake, you're not going to play. Got it. But if you, if you did play and you won, A, would you show up to work tomorrow morning, tie or no tie? And B, would you buy an ev? No. Just kidding.
Jake Novak
Yeah. No, I wouldn't buy an ev, but I would buy wonderful presents for everyone on the staff, especially the control room.
David Brody
What about me? We're on twice a day. You and me. Yeah.
Jake Novak
No, no, you're everyone on the staff, everyone on air and also the control room. We'd get really nice cars.
David Brody
Very nice Rolex watches for everybody from Jake Novak. Very nice of you, Jake. Thank you, sir. All right. Business news has never been so entertaining time for debates in Denver. Opening bell sponsored by amac, the association.

We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It is going to ring here in less than a minute. I can tell you that pre market trading on the Dow Jones Industrial Average wasn't looking so hot just moments ago. However, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ were both up. You hear the applause here, which means that the bell is going to ring here in just a moment and then we'll see exactly how the market markets are looking once trading officially gets underway on this Wednesday. It is Wednesday, the middle of the week. So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The markets are now officially open. The bell is ringing and trading is underway. There are people scurrying around, passing notes to each other and making trades, buying and selling, all of that. And here you can see The Dow, S, P500 and the NASDAQ are now all in the red. As I said, in pre market trading, at least the other two, the S&P and the NASDAQ were in the green, but now they are in the red. The rest of the board not looking so great either. As you can see, crude oil at the very bottom is also down. So hopefully there will be a bit of a turnaround at least on the top of the border. For the top of the border. Top of the border. Excuse me. Particularly for those of you who are going to be trading throughout the day, well Here's a question for you. Did you see President Trump call out the big banks for refusing to bank certain Americans? Well, don't reward those big banks. Instead, move your money to Old Glory Bank. Old Glory bank serves customers in all 50 states with the best online banking for both consumers and businesses. Everything that you can do at the big banks and the big woke banks, you can do better at Old Glory Bank. Old Glory bank has always been Pro Freedom, Pro Second Amendment, and Pro Crypto. Visit oldglorybank.com today and join the right side of banking. All right, folks, we're going to take a quick break. When we come back here on American Sunrise, a vile thought from a group of vile people. There are some Democrats out there who are now saying the assassination attempt on President Trump's life was staged. Their premise and its ridiculousness is ahead.
Emily Finn
All right, welcome back to American Sunrise. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. We invite you to join the conversation on Getter and Rumble. Time now to take the political pulse of America. Though in the beat today, the left's most insane conspiracy theory is still circulating online. The claim that the assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, was staged despite being debunked even by mainstream media. Millions of impressions on X have spread the lie that Trump faked his own shooting to win. Sympathy posts claim his ear wound was a rubber bullet or that the Secret Service was in on it. This is the double standard. When the right questions an election, it's called dangerous. But when the left pushes crazed lies about Trump being shot, it's ignored or even amplified. The reality is simple. Trump survived a real attempt on his life and Americans are standing with him. Let's bring in David Brody and Terrence Bates to discuss this a little further. I mean, this is just one of the craziest things I have ever heard, you guys. It's disrespectful. It's awful.
Terrence Bates
And the point is to. I'm sorry, David, I can just say, and I definitely want to hear your perspective, but the point here really is for the left to try to draw away from all of President Trump's success. They want to bring up any and everything things that really have nothing to do with the price of rice in China in order to redirect and blind people from all the success President Trump is having. What do you say all the time, David? We're not tired of winning just yet. There's no way we're going to get tired of winning. Well, that's what it is. We're winning so much that the Democrats are going to try to come up with any sort of narrative to try to blind people and to try to cover up all of those wins. Go ahead, David. I'm done. That's all I wanted to say.
David Brody
No, I hear you. And so much for conservatives being the conspiracy theorists. You know, these are the conspiracy theorists. These people are crazy. Literally. This morning. Can I read you the New York Times headline? Here it is, the New York Times headline. This is about how the. Let me just preface this. This is about how Trump wasn't seen for like, four days or something over the Labor Day weekend, or it was before that. Like, he hadn't. He hadn't, like, been in front of the cameras for like, four days. Here's the headline from the New York Times this morning. President Trump is alive. The Internet was convinced otherwise, literally. That's the New York Times headline, President Trump is alive. And then you would think, oh, yucky, yuck. Ha ha, ha. Let's read on New York Times, shall we? Okay, you're going to get. You're going to rip the conspiracy theorists on the left for believing that President Trump was literally dead. Because that's what they've been talking about in the last, you know, week or so, that President Trump is actually dead because we haven't seen him. No, no, it wasn't that. That at all. It was basically a defense of the conspiracy theorists to say, well, of course they would probably think something like that because, you know, President Trump has lied about what's going on with his hand and lied about this and lied about that. This was their article, guys. I mean, so this is what we're dealing with. And listen, I. I don't know.
Emily Finn
It was only for a couple of days to David, and they thought he was dead. We had a president for the past four years that never came out in public, and the left didn't have any conspiracy theories about that. For more discussion, let's welcome to American Sunrise. Tony Kinette, investigative columnist at the Daily Signal.
Terrence Bates
David said. Can I just.
Emily Finn
David, can I just say a couple. We gotta get Tony's thoughts. I mean, this is just craziness.
Tony Kinette
I mean, I absolutely understand Terrence and David's aggravation here because again, as someone whose entire job these days is to keep track of the media narrative, you would see no headlines at all from the New York Times to David's point, or the Washington Post or the LA Times, or. Or the myriad number of other publications and media outlets at all about Joe Biden calling lids at 11:30 in the morning. And being gone, I mean, you know, his own Secretary of defense took an impromptu prostate surgery.
Steve Gruber
What?
Tony Kinette
And then you had Pete Buttigieg gone for breastfeeding. Biden gone again. Biden gone yet a third time. And that's only in one week, ladies and gentlemen. So at the end of the day, when you look at their coverage now, Trump didn't do a press conference for the first time in his administration again. Also, presidents not holding a press conference was normal up until about five minutes ago. Trump talks to the media every single ding dong dang day. Still stuffed in a Daily Caller 90 minute interview with Reagan Reese and then played golf with his granddaughter. All of a sudden it's call every aluminum foil hat wearing uncle, you know, because we've got a dead president on our hands. It's not just disingenuous, it's malicious.
David Brody
Ding dong dang day. Yes, that's good.
Tony Kinette
Do you like that?
Emily Finn
That was a fantastic interview with Regan Reese as well. She's a good friend of mine. It was great to see the President give her an opportunity.
Tony Kinette
We're having her on tonight for that exact reason.
David Brody
Well said.
Emily Finn
Go Reagan.
David Brody
I just wanted to say one thing about the hand that they keep talking about, Trump's hand, which is like, first of all, this is all they have. The hand. This is what they're talking about. Do they? Not ever. And, and I'm saying this rhetorically. The guy, the, the guy, the dude, President POTUS 47, he plays golf every weekend. If he had an issue with his hand, don't you think maybe golf would be potentially an issue? No, of course, they never ask these type of questions. I, I'm just so sick and tired of it. I'm just so glad real America's voice is here.
Tony Kinette
David, you have standards. What do you do? And having standards, man. I mean, you're asking him, what about a hand? They asked Joe Biden what his favorite flavor of ice cream was, and they were serious. I mean, you have foreign policy experts yesterday sending out tweets like, well, he's clearly very high. And they're already deleting the tweets because they're more embarrassed than bringing your cousin to a family function. It's ridiculous.
David Brody
What cousin are you referring to? No, I'm sorry, nevermind. All right, so Victor Davis Hansen, can we go there? No, we better not. Let's quickly move on. Victor Davis Hanson, one of America's most prominent historians, says the Democrats have no agenda except to destroy President Trump. And I think you would know this because he was on your podcast There, Hanson said the chaos in Minneapolis is just the latest sign of a radical base that now controls the entire party. He noted that Democrats are losing it on most issues. They're polling in the 30s. They have turned to hysterian antics, to master failures. Anyhow, he warned, I'm telling you all this, but of course, you know, all this, but he warned that the strategy is going to backfire, that Americans want order, not destruction. And in the end, Trump's America first message is what will prevail. I mean, it really is just fascinating to watch the Democrats self employed. We talk about immigration. Remember, immigration was the whole thing where, you know, they were in essence against protecting the border, and now here they are against protecting public safety. Boy, what winning positions, Democrats. Congrats.
Tony Kinette
There's one question every single American, I believe, had after the 2024 election. I have continued to ask it time and time again, right? We know that if there's one thing that you can count on, like death and taxes, it's Democrats coalescing around one message, right? Every one of their media outlets says the exact same sentence verbatim, quite literally verbatim, if you remember, during the COVID misinformation campaign that was spread all across the, you know, legacy media. So the question many Americans have had is, well, what's gonna be the next thing? All right, what is the next thing Democrats are all gonna unite around? And I have never seen in any of the elections I've been alive for in any of the prior elections that I've studied media coverage, open coverage of what Democrats are possibly gonna go through to get to what that core message is. Guys, we are in the midterm campaign. It has started. That's why you're seeing all the retirements and announcements that people aren't gonna run for reelection. It's time to get a message two months ago, and they have nothing at all to bring to the table. Hakeem is fighting with Schumer, who's fighting with Omar, who's fighting with her husband, and definitely not also her brother, who's fighting with the people in Minneapolis. We're fighting with the people in Virginia, who's fighting with anyone they can get their hands on. No one knows what to do in the party. And so Victor Davis Hansen made the excellent point at this.
David Brody
What do you do?
Tony Kinette
Pete Buttigieg is pulling 0% in every black community that is polled in the country. No matter how crazy Jasmine Crockett's accent is getting, it's not going to be enough to unify the old Obama Coalition. So what do they have? Screaming at the moon. Yeah, that worked great in 24.
David Brody
Best of luck, Tony.
Terrence Bates
That was classic.
Tony Kinette
I'm never going to be allowed back on that.
Terrence Bates
Oh, my goodness. That was some of the best TV I've seen. Hey, look, in about an hour or so, there's going to be this news coming conference on the steps of the Capitol. Basically the Jeffrey Epstein thing. Of course. House leadership released about 33,000 pages yesterday. The bigger issue here is that Republicans are fighting Republicans on this. When you've got a handful of Republicans that are pushing for more releases, you've got a handful of Republicans who are saying, no, you know, we've released enough. Just, just kind of simmer down. Is this ultimately in your mind going to be an Achilles heel for Republicans, this sort of infighting over this Epstein issue? No.
Tony Kinette
And the reason I say no, to make it a little bit longer and nicer for tv, is that according to every piece of polling data, and I'm not even talking about the good polling data, I'm talking about the weird snot blowing strategies from Hathaway up in Chicago who give people really bad advice. Even those polls are suggesting that Americans just simply don't care. Seriously, there is no political ramification on this. That walks away with Republican infighting. Americans expect Republicans to fight in the open. It's a day ending in why Democrats argue in secret normally, and then come out with a unifying message. Republicans are essentially five or six different political parties holding a WWE match to decide which way we're gonna go on cultural, on fiscal, on foreign policy. And then when it comes to the Epstein issue and Republicans are arguing about how to go about this, Americans understand this. As far as the idea that, that people are suddenly gonna rally to the defense of MTG or Thomas Massie. MTG changes her story every time you interview her about this. And Thomas Massie can't really hold up a gallant flag of defiance because he stood against Trump on everything for the sake of standing against Trump on everything, which is a bad strategy if you wanna come in and convince us all. So the idea that there was gonna be a chance. I'll put it this way. Nancy Pelosi thinks this is the effective strategy to hit on right now. How's that going for him?
Terrence Bates
Tony, what kind of coffee you're drinking? I need some of that in my life.
Tony Kinette
You are cafe Cuban crack made incarnate in my cup of coffee.
David Brody
Well, I can say though, maga. MAGA cares. MAGA cares about Epstein. You say Republican. I mean, so we have to drill down on that. Well, you don't think MAGA cares about this?
Tony Kinette
According to the polling, even MAGA Republicans only care about this at about 5 to 6, 6% of 5 to 6%, only like 1% overall see it as their number one issue, if at all.
David Brody
I, I think we're splitting hair. I mean, I hear what you're saying, but I think the 5 to 6% is the hill to die on MAGA folks that, that are going to die on this hill. I, I agree with you on that in that sense. But let me just say this is just such a ridiculous situation. Republicans have them in to be, have themselves in to begin with. This was their issue. This was their issue. And I say, I hate to call an issue because it's more than an issue, but you know what I'm saying? I mean, politically, this was their thing and now it's turned against them and it's their own fault. Tony Kennett, great to have you with us. Appreciate you. Thanks, guys.
Tony Kinette
Always enjoy joining you.
Terrence Bates
Good to talk to you, brother.
David Brody
Doing two shows nightly as well. Tony Kennett here on American Sunrise two mornings nightly. That doesn't make any sense. Coming up, Trump wants a wall of fame in the Rose Garden. And for Biden, well, he's got a special portrait in mind. You're going to want to see this. It's ahead as American Sunrise continues in just a moment. Hang on, everybody.
Steve Gruber
Let's spill some tea.
Terrence Bates
Let's Spill Some Tea is fueled by Artillery Tea Company. It's the only America first veteran owned tea brand out there. And their mission is to maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. No junk here, just real tea. The tactical advantage, you ask? Well, it's that each bag brews twice. All you have to do to order is go to artillerytco.com and use the code payload for 15% off. That's artillerytco.com and it's premium tea. That's mission driven, brewed for the brave.
David Brody
All right.
Terrence Bates
Let's get you over to Emily now. Emily, good morning.
Emily Finn
Good morning. Thank you so much. Terrence. It is time to spill some tea. And in the cup today, Joe Biden and a lot of laughter. President Trump is putting his mark on the White House Rose Garden once again, this time with a new presidential wall of fame. Trump unveiled his plans, complete with gold framed portraits of past leaders. But when asked about Joe Biden, Trump had a sharp response. A portrait of the auto pen, the device Biden staff uses to sign documents for him. Trump called it Very controversial and funny. It's a reminder of what Republicans say was Biden's inability to lead while Trump puts America first and exposes the farce that is Washington power. All right, for more, we're going to bring in David Brody and Terrence Bates to talk about this. You know, guys, I must admit, it's funny. It's really funny. You know, it's the legacy that Biden left behind, but really, we're going to put that up in the White House. Do you see any way that this could be a little bit. I mean, he still was the president at the time.
Terrence Bates
I don't see him doing it. I don't think so. It's definitely would be a shot across the bow, but I think he's got so much respect for the office of the presidency, no matter who may have occupied that office, that I just can't imagine he would do it. I can't imagine that his advisors wouldn't push back and say, if you are really thinking about that, let's reconsider that. David, you know him a little bit better. I just can't imagine it. But it's definitely funny and it's definitely something to get us talking. I just can't imagine that he would follow through with something like that.
David Brody
Yeah, I don't think so. I mean, I think you're right. I think you're both right. Emily, I think you make a good point. I wouldn't do it. You know, come on. I mean, let's just not be, you know, ridiculous about it. Now, having said that, it would be hard for Trump to see a portrait of Biden in the, in the Rose Garden as President of the United States when he doesn't believe that he was a legitimate president. But I think this feels petty. I mean, I think that goes beyond that. That's an understatement. It's petty and it's. It's beneath him, honestly. He doesn't need to do it. There's no reason. I mean, but, but, you know, the thing with Trump, though, is that you just don't know, right? I mean, that's the thing. He's a wild card. I mean, you think he's not going to do it, but wait for it. He's Trump.
Terrence Bates
He could.
David Brody
Who knows? He might. And, you know, is he going to lose some votes over. No. Are people going to look at the. Emily, for example, your reaction right this morning, you're like, shouldn't do it. But, but, but does that mean people are going to like, well, they can't vote for him anymore. But are people just gonna be like, okay, that's it, I'm done with Trump? No, they're not gonna be done. It's just gonna leave a bad taste in their mouth. But I think there's. I bet you, our audience, you know, I'm going to the chat. I bet you our audience would absolutely love it. I'm not saying, you know, that, that, that, therefore, that's the end of it. Just because our chat audience says it, though. We love you in the chat, but I am curious to see what you all think.
Emily Finn
Me, too. So I'm excited to see.
David Brody
Can I just say, I'm going there now. Let me go there in real time.
Emily Finn
Yeah. And I just think he's taking the high road on this. It's just classless. And whoever comes in office next is going to replace it, you know, with an actual portrait anyway. So, I don't know. I just.
David Brody
I don't think it's going to replace Trump's portrait. They could replace Trump's portrait, too. And then, like David, to your point.
Terrence Bates
It would be petty. It would be petty. But here is a way to get around the pettiness. What you can do is put up portraits and have larger portraits for those presidents you think were more significant, and then smaller portraits, more insignificant portraits. It still would be petty, still would be petty, but I think that's the way that you get around it. So you don't like it, or did somebody say something in the chat?
David Brody
No, no, I think it's funny. I could just see 8 and a half by 11. 8 and a half by 11, 8 and a half, 4 by 6.
Emily Finn
It's like a giant Trump portrait in the middle and all the other presidents around it.
Terrence Bates
It would still be petty, but it may not be quite as disrespectful, if you will. And it might be a way to get around it. Just. Just an idea. President Trump, if you're watching and listening, that would be my suggestion. Not that you would necessarily take it, but maybe that's a way to get around it.
Emily Finn
If he's watching, just don't do it. It's not worth it.
David Brody
I'm not worth it. It's not worth it. You're. You're getting your just rewards and they're just desserts and all that stuff by the policy you're implementing and just, Just do it that way. We're in agreement. A triple box agreement.
Emily Finn
Triple box agreement. I'm taking the high road.
Terrence Bates
Look at you guys being, being the adults in the room. I'm like, nah, just be petty. If you got to be petty, then just make it smaller.
Emily Finn
Emily and I are the adults in the room.
David Brody
Yeah, we're the adults. Emily and Terrence was like, yo, go for the. Go with the four by six. All right.
Terrence Bates
But if you gonna be petty, here's another way of being petty. Oh, my goodness. I'm sorry I put myself in timeout. I'm sorry, Mom. I know you taught me better, Mom.
Emily Finn
All right, all right. The adult says, we gotta go to break here, guys. There is a whole lot more on American Sunrise. Get this. He was paralyzed for decades. Now he's fighting to walk his daughter down the aisle. A story of family, faith and miracles in motion. Next, as American Sunrise continues.
Steve Gruber
Breaking news from real America's Voice.
Emily Finn
We do want to take you live to Washington D.C. where the Jeffrey Epstein victims are speaking out at a press conference. Let's listen in. Knowing what was waiting for me.
David Brody
Galen Maxwell, you are the system.
Emily Finn
And now you are but a part of another system.
David Brody
One that you've earned through your very own.
Nicole Kiprilov
Your very own choices and actions. A prison system where you deserve to live for every moment of your 20 year sentence.
David Brody
And that alone is not enough. Systems require support. There are others that are complicit, that have caused harm to women and children, that have benefited from that harm and as it stands in this moment, have enjoyed impunity and dodged accountability. We've heard her voice. Now hear ours loud and clear.
Nicole Kiprilov
Systems built with a root of corruption.
David Brody
Violence and deceit always crumble. That time is coming.
Nicole Kiprilov
Your pseudo power has diminished.
David Brody
It is our time in the power of justice, of common sense.
Nicole Kiprilov
It's our system now.
David Brody
This is a call to action.
Nicole Kiprilov
Now is the time to sift through and get rid of the perpetrators and bad actors. This eminent shift is how our country operates.
David Brody

The episode maintains an energetic, conversational, and irreverent tone, blending breaking news, political analysis, and cultural commentary with both humor and indignation. The hosts oscillate between sincerity (particularly on faith and victim advocacy) and sarcastic banter, with a through-line of skepticism toward establishment media, government institutions, and progressive policies. Frequent jokes and pop culture references lighten the mood, but don’t detract from the pointed critique of political events and elites.
This American Sunrise episode encapsulates Real America’s Voice’s approach: challenging conventional narratives, elevating stories of accountability and justice (Epstein investigation), advocating Trump-aligned policies on crime and national security, and maintaining a strong undercurrent of faith and hope. Key moments include the examination of the underwhelming Epstein document release, hard questions about federal intervention in cities, discussion of international crises, and a heartfelt spotlight on cultivating hope through spirituality. The episode is dense with both original reporting and pointed political commentary, offering plenty of context for listeners who missed the live broadcast.
