Steve Gruber
And welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Guerre. It is Monday 6th April, the year of our Lord 2026. Let's get to today's top stories. As always, thank you for joining me here on Real America's Voice. Now, President Trump has warned Tehran that if it doesn't agree to terms including reopening the strategic Strait of Hormuz, American forces could target Iranian infrastructure from power plants to bridges. More on that coming up today. Also, oil surging to $112 a barrel now after Iran rejected President Trump's recent ceasefire deal. President Trump has stated that this will only be temporary. More on that coming up. And then later, the wellness company says it has completed what it calls a first of its kind human observational study looking at the use of two well known medications, Ivermectin and mebendazole to treat cancer. I'll bring on a doctor from the wellness company to discuss this. But first, I want to start with Iran. The deadline is coming. The deadline is coming. The president has promised massive military strikes if Iran does not back down and open the Strait of Hormuz. That is not likely in my book. So something big is coming. But what is it? President Trump took to social media just yesterday to warn Tuesday will be power plant day and bridge day all wrapped up in one in Iran, there'll be nothing like it. Open the effing straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell. Just watch. Praise be to Allah. That takes guts. By the way, the American military is fully prepared to target strategic sites like Iran's power plants and bridges if the strait remains closed. President Trump had to say this earlier at the White House Easter Egg roll when asked about the deadline for Iran. Listen to this.
President Donald Trump
The war is about one thing. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Had we not broken the Barack Hussein Obama agreement, you know that, you know what I'm talking about, the Iran nuclear deal. This is years ago, my first term. You would have had a total. Israel would have been gone, extinguished. Israel would be, would have been wiped off the face of the earth and the entire Middle east would have been, at a minimum, in big trouble. But I did it. That was phase one. We killed Soleimani. Without Soleimani, if they had Solomon, it would be a whole different thing. Maybe would still be winning, but it would have been harder because we are obliterating that country. And I hate to do it, but we're obliterating. And they just don't want to stay. Uncle. They don't want to cry, as the expression goes, Uncle. But they will. And if they don't, they'll have no bridges, they'll have no power plants, they'll have no anything. I want to. I won't go further because there are other things that are worse than those two. And we might have. Well, the thing. If I had my choice, what would I like to do? Take the oil because it's there for the taking. There's not a thing they can do about it.
Steve Gruber
Now you can see President Trump's resolve clear as day, laying out strategic consequences for any obstruction in the Strait of Hormuz, making clear that America is ready to decisively act to protect global energy flows and our national security, too. And notice the confidence. This isn't an empty warning. It's backed by military capabilities that Iran cannot overlook or even contend with, for that matter. Before the program today, President Trump spoke to the media regarding the daring rescue of that second airman was shot down in Iranian airspace and was on the ground for 48 hours. Look at what he had to say.
President Donald Trump
We immediately mobilized a massive operation to retrieve him from the mountain holdout. And he kept going higher and higher. The mountain kept getting rougher and rougher and really very, very hard to find. The second rescue mission involved 155 aircraft, including four bombers, 64 fighters, 48 refueling tankers, 13 rescue aircraft and more. We were bringing them all over and a lot of it was subterfuge. We wanted to have them think he was in a different location because they had a vast military force out there. Thousands of thousands of people were looking. So we wanted them to look in different areas. So we were scattered all over like we were right on top of them.
Steve Gruber
Can you imagine ejecting from that cockpit and then knowing that every move you make counts? Making up that mountain to 7,000ft while injured and tending to your own wounds. That's not just skill, that's nerves of steel. Staying calm and focusing on the mission at hand to get to safety. Here's the thing. It's textbook bravery, but also it's smart. He does. He didn't just wing it. He followed training to the letter. They train on this stuff all the time. That's why these guys are the very best. And those searching for them, also the very best. Can't help but feel proud. That kind of courage under pressure, it doesn't come around every day. Hats off to him and the entire team, dozens of aircraft and others that brought him home safely. Secretary of War Pete Hagseth also spoke where he gave the first message that the pilot sent out to U.S. forces. Look at this.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth
His first message was simple and it was powerful. He sent a message. God is good. In that moment of isolation and danger, his faith and fighting spirit shone through.
Public Investing Sponsor
You see.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth
Shot down on a Friday, Good Friday. Hidden in a cave, a crevice all of Saturday. And rescued on Sunday. Flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter Sunday. A pilot reborn. All home and accounted for. A nation rejoicing. God is good.
Steve Gruber
Indeed. God is good. And that right there shows you what kind of people are out there fighting for you right now, fighting for the protection of this nation. Iran should never have a nuclear weapon. And thanks to President Trump and his administration, they hopefully will not. Here's more from Pete Hagseth.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth
The largest volume of strikes since day one of this operation. Tomorrow, even more than today. And then Iran has a choice. Choose wisely, because this president does not play around. You can ask Soleimani, you can ask Maduro, you can ask Khomeini. To those heroes who planned and executed these rescues, your nation stands in awe. I stand in awe. The chairman stands in awe. We all stand in awe of your professionalism and bravery. We serve for you. You embody the very best of America. To the rescued airmen and their families, welcome home. Your courage and endurance, the quiet declaration of faith amid the storm inspires us all. God is good every day. And to our adversaries watching from Tehran, let this be a clear. The United States military will go anywhere at any time to protect our own and complete the mission.
Steve Gruber
As he said, Iran has a decision to make now. Surrender to these United States or suffer hell on earth. Join me to discuss real America's Voice. Chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn. He was packed in the room there, busiest he's ever seated. He said, brian, good morning or good afternoon as it were.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, yeah, good afternoon, Steve. It was the most people I've ever seen in that briefing room. As I've covered the White House, as you can imagine, just about every international outlet, every domestic outlet was in that room. One of my biggest takeaways is just how he raging Cain was able to kind of recap this heroic rescue that by some say, Steve, this is the greatest rescue mission in the history of the military. I heard several people inside talk about that. So for him to recap that and also if I live anywhere, a bridge or a power plant in Iran, you might consider finding somewhere else to stay come Tuesday at 8 o', clock, Steve,
Steve Gruber
you know, it is an American success story. This is a real incredible story of success on Easter Sunday. Brian, you're exactly right. General Kaine is right. Secretary Hegseth is right. The President is right. And yet on the other side of this conversation, you have people on other cable news outlets and other television news outlets openly, it seems, cheering for Iran. I mean, when the pilot was still missing, they're like, well, you know, this will be a big blow to President Trump if they don't give, if they get him as a prisoner. It's like they were rooting for Iran to get a prisoner of war out of this deal. It's disgusting, frankly. And you mentioned power plants and water supplies. You've got Democrats all over the TV now. That'd be a war crime. It's not a war crime. If the military benefits from that power plant, from that water supply, from that, you know, system, whatever it is that the military in that country benefits from that. It is not a war crime by definition. Look, they can read the Geneva Convention same as I can, at least I would think. So your thoughts? Well, yeah.
Brian Glenn
Well, President Trump talked about that in this briefing and said, look, the Iranian people, they want this bombing to continue. They rather endure maybe a few more days, maybe a week of bombing knowing that this evil regime is done. They have been under their control for far too, for decades. So they're willing to withstand more of these bombings. And we know that a lot of it sometimes goes towards perhaps where they might live. And there is a, you know, as a risk involved in that. But Steve, they're, and they're thinking this is worth the freedom of the Iranian people. So we'll see if that happens. Now, if I was a betting man and we've seen some of the messing messaging that's been on social media, and whether or not you can take it with a grain of salt, whether or not it's true or not, I'd be willing to bet that tomorrow by 8pm from 8pm tomorrow eastern till midnight tomorrow Eastern, you're going to see those bridges, those power plants, those water supplies, those deceleration plants destroyed. He mentioned a little bit about that in the, in the briefing room. He did give a timeline on that, Steve. I don't know if he caught that or not. He said, you'll have four hours of basic hell. So if I'm doing the math there, that's, that's, you know, 8 o' clock tomorrow night till midnight. That's when we can, we probably see this go down.
Steve Gruber
And so by 8:01 Eastern Time tomorrow night, Chicken Noodle News and all the others will be in an uproar, hair on fire, defending the Iranians and telling us how awful this country is and so on and so forth. So tired of that. Let me ask you one other thing. Did this come up? The IRGC bunker obliterated during this rescue operation. The United States saying they took out more senior Iranian leadership. Brian that would be another key blow to whatever. I don't know who's left there. I mean, honest question, who the heck's left?
Brian Glenn
It's interesting you say that, Steve, because there's an Iranian correspondent that's here and matter of fact, he asked one of the questions in the, the briefing room. I asked him who is the leader of Iran, and he looked around and he named a couple people, but no one really knows at this point. We've taken them all out, so I don't know how deep their bench is in the Iranian government as far as leadership is concerned, Steve, but we've won. I would, it's, it's, it's easy to say that we have taken out the evil leadership of the Iranian government. So it's now time, I guess, to find who the, you know, who the next man up, if you will, from the right side, not from the evil side to take control of that country. But all eyes will be on Iran tomorrow, starting at 801. Steve?
Steve Gruber
Yeah, I, I don't think, I don't see people saying, hey, pick me. I don't see that inside around, hey, pick me. I want to be in charge. No, you know, because you get a special delivery for lunch and it's the end of the line. Brian Glenn, as always. Thank you sir. Greatly appreciate you.
Brian Glenn
Thank you.
Steve Gruber
Packed house in the Brady Room today with Brian in there. He says as full as he's ever seen it. I've been in there when it's packed. He was pushed all the way to the back and it's not a very big facility to begin with, so if they're packed in their shoulder to shoulder, not particularly comfortable. All right, after the break, I'll discuss the looming deadline for Iran to reach this peace deal before the US targets their energy infrastructure. Also, the airman shot down in airspace rescued. Great news. We'll continue the conversation after the break on America's Voice Live.

As President Trump's ultimatum ticks down, the US Is turning up both diplomatic and military pressure. Of course, as I said, President Trump has warned Tehran that if it doesn't agree to terms, including reopening this strategic Strait of Hormuz, American forces could target Iranian infrastructure, power plants, bridges, water supplies. As Brian Glenn just told us he believes. That's 8 o' clock tomorrow night, Eastern Time. Behind the scenes, Vice President J.D. vance and other envoys have been engaged in indirect negotiations through Pakistani mediators as a possible ceasefire deal floats in the ether. But will we get there? The deadline looming, no agreement yet, inside Washington and Tehran remained locked in a high stakes standoff that could reshape the region for years. Join me to discuss former congressman, executive director at the Constitutional Rights Union, Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, Colonel laced to see today. Let me start, though, with this. The amount of training that it takes to be ejected from your fighter jet, to hide for 48 hours, to stuff yourself into a crevice for a day, all day Saturday, and then to continue to climb up injured to over 7,000ft so you can be the focus of a rescue. And then, of course, the dozens of planes, the hundreds of military personnel no man left behind, the amount of training here to pull this off, I don't like. I mean, maybe it is an Eastern miracle. I don't like to use the word miracle too loosely, but maybe it is, sir.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
Well, this is what happens, Steve, when you get the military focus back on their core competencies and missions, not DEI and gender dysphoria and things of this nature. But many of these fighter pilots, they go down to airborne school at Fort Benning, Georgia, because that's the thing that they had to be prepared for, is to eject and parachute down behind enemy Lines. We saw that with Scott o' Grady many years ago in Bosnia. But they also go through what is called SERE training, which is survival, evasion, resistance and escape training, which again, it puts them in very harsh situations and things of that nature. And so they're ready for this and they're mentally prepared for this. But then also you have the Air Force Special Operations and other ground forces that know that this is a critical thing. And their understanding is they have to get in and provide a security cordon around this area where they believe that pilot is so that no enemy forces can get in. And you saw that executed brilliantly. And even though we had two of our aircraft that was stuck in the sand in that makeshift airfield there in Iran, guess what? No big deal. We just call in, we destroy those aircraft, we bring in backup aircraft, we get everybody out there. No American losses, no Americans wounded, The pilot is back safe. This is an incredible testimony once again to the professionalism and the courage of our men and women in our armed forces.
Steve Gruber
And the first message from that airman was God is good. That was his first message out to the rest of the world. Pretty remarkable. But here's what, look, Colonel, you and I talk about these things a lot, but all day Saturday into Sunday before we had a confirmation that this pilot had been rescued, it seemed like CNN and Ms. Now and the others, New York Times, you pick your poison. We're rooting for Iran. This would be a major setback for Donald Trump. This would be a big blow to it's one plane in five weeks. First of all, to paint this as some major victory, this comes from a manpad because you know, you've got a single shoulder launched missile that we can't get. Every one of those, the idea this would be. But what I'm getting at, they're rooting for Iran. They hate Donald Trump so much, they will root against a pilot crawling through the rocks at 7,000ft. If they think it would hurt Donald Trump, they would sacrifice that pilot. I truly believe it. And it's damn sad.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
It is incredibly sad. Think about it. If we had a media that was rooting for our forces who landed at Omaha and Utah beach to get pushed back into the sea, basically what you had happening here, it's unconscionable. It's unbelievable. And so that's why when people are sitting around talking about how there's going to be this big blue wave in the midterms, this is something that people are going to remember and I think we should be reminded about that. That we have a Marxist leftist machine along with the Islamists who are cheering against our own men and women who are trying to keep us safe and secure. And also to the global globalists out there, open up the Straits of Hormuz so that we can have a free flow of the sea lanes of commerce and communication. So I can't understand how you could hate one person so much that you would also transit that into hating the entire United States of America and our armed forces.
Steve Gruber
Very true. So, all right, what's the next step here? You've got Donald Trump saying, you know, by, I guess the timetable is 8 o' clock Eastern tomorrow night. And again, I identify the fact that the left is rooting against Donald Trump. Well, that would be a war crime if you go after bridges and power plants and water supplies. No, it's not. I mean, these people can't read. It's not. Because if the military shares those power plants, those bridges and those water supplies, they are legitimate targets. Go look at Dresden, Germany. I mean, go look at some other places in world history that, you know, civilians were part of, caught in the crossfire. But the fact of the matter is, power plants, water supplies, bridges are free game as long as they're used to any extent by military operatives inside the country. They need to know their facts. Last word to you, sir. What's going to happen?
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
You're absolutely right. We saw that in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think it's so important that we make sure that we are striking those targets that supports the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. And I think that without a doubt, President Trump is well within the Geneva Convention and he needs to strike those targets. He's already said he's going to do that. And if he backs away, that will make him seem as a paper tiger. And we know that's not the case. But I will continue to say this. The biggest strategic imperative is to make sure that we open up the Straits of Hormuz. And if that means that we have to isolate that strait from the Iranian side, then so be it. And we can continue to take down the ballistic missiles and that threat. That would affect the Straits of Hormuz. That will put a real pinch on Iran. They cannot be left in control of that very important sea lane of communications.
Steve Gruber
Completely agree, sir. Now, one last thing before I let you go. You'll be up late. I'm going to have no sleep before tomorrow's program. Championship game, Michigan or UConn?
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
I got to go with Michigan. I mean, what they did to my Tennessee Volunteers and Alabama before that I don't think we've seen a team that has scored 90 plus points in three consecutive games in the NCAA tournament like Michigan, I, I think that they will play an up tempo game. They play good defense too.
Steve Gruber
There you go. There's your sports update. You don't normally get that here, but we enjoy today. Colonel. Thank you sir. God bless you. All right, there you have it. right, well, fraud is a word that has certainly become fully exposed. No pun intended here in 2026. Vice President J.D. vance's task force has already suspended 221 California hospice and healthcare providers. Get that 221. New acting Attorney General Todd Blanch says it's just a start. The DOJ isn't going to let fraudsters get away with their crimes. Listen to this.
Todd Blanch
You are right. This is an important and long overdue objective. Just today in Los Angeles, we had a takedown. Eight individuals were arrested for allegedly bilking over $50 million of intended loss from our taxpayer monies. And yes, this includes leadership in state governments, our investigation. Investigations do, because guess what? They are in many ways the actual conduit. They're letting it happen by not doing anything to stop these individuals stealing from the American people. And so you're going to see this Department of Justice pour all of our heart and soul into fraud cases all over this country for the foreseeable future.
Steve Gruber
Yeah, we need to rip fraud out from the root, whether it's Minnesota, California, the federal government, members of Congress, and you know what? When we're speaking of members of Congress, I'd like to have it all revealed. Who got to dip into that massive amount of money to protect themselves from accusations of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment? Why do members of Congress get to hide behind the veil? Just asking for a few million friends. The hospices and emergency centers, by the way, weren't mom and pop failures. These were operations raking in taxpayer dollars, your money, while delivering substandard care or no care at all. California has been a fraud factory for decades. Licenses handed out like candy. No oversight, no accountability, nobody to answer to. And Assemblyman Bill Aslee says Governor Newsom is the fraud king. Here he is in Response to the
Assemblyman Bill Aslee
governor, not good enough. Not good enough. They've not taken fraud seriously for over a decade here in California. California, they've let people out of prisons, They've decriminalized it. I call him the fraud king for a reason. He has reigned over billions and billions of dollars of fraud. Whether we're investigating homeless fraud, EDD fraud, and now hospice fraud, it's going to be into the hundreds of billions of dollars under his watch. Remember, none of this fraud could happen unless California issued these licenses. California is responsible for administering hospice programs, licensing these doctors. And they are supposed to to have passed regulations by January 1st of this year that were called by the otter in California, said California does not have sufficient regulations to crack down on fraud. He's refusing to implement those regulations because he doesn't want to own the problem. We're going to do our job. You're going to see a lot more fraud. We're going to work hand in hand with this task force. And I think it's going to be in the hundreds of billions, eventually.
Steve Gruber
Hundreds of billions, maybe a trillion. This fraud is the kind of thing that really makes people angry. I, I look forward to see how people in Minnesota vote. Are you guys going to vote for more fraud or for a clean slate? You are like the test subject for all of this, the petri dish of fraud. Yeah, we'll see what happens. Do you owe back taxes? Time's running out. Look at that, it's getting late. Or have unfiled tax returns filed every year but still keep owing? Retired and got hit with a surprise tax bill. Are you a business owner with a tax bill you can't afford? Did you take early money from your 401? And now you're on the hook. However your tax issue started, the result, it's pretty much the same. Your balance is not going down. The penalties are going to grow. Interest is going to compound, and many of you are about to owe again this year with no plan in place. We'll break down what that means for global markets. Only up a couple bucks where it's been for a bit. We'll take a closer look after the break.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
Break.
President Donald Trump
All right.
Steve Gruber
After Iranian officials, whoever's left to be an official in Iran, rejected President Trump's ceasefire proposal through Pakistani offerings, the oil, up to $112 a barrel, is a bit higher than it was yesterday. Experts report the oil markets are racing against time in the state of Hormuz, currently blocking roughly a fifth of the global shipments. But some ships are going through. It's a little confusing. President Trump says the blockage is temporary. Join me to discuss both the long term and short term market implications is Chapwood Investments managing partner Ed Matowski. Ed, nice to see you today. So let's get to the bottom of this. About 20% of the world's oil on a given day. If the Strait of Hormuz was open and operating normally, about 20% would go through there. Right. Some ships are moving now, but I don't know how many. I saw 12 the other day. And so on an average day, it's 20 to 25. So we've cut that in half. And yet the price of oil continues to go up. Gasoline here, where I am, has come down about 20 cents, but it might be temporary. I mean, a lot of confusion in the market. Help us out, Ed.
Ed Matowski
Well, the thing to remember is that oil prices trade in the futures market, and those are run by a lot of people who are just looking to what the future price is going to be, and they exaggerate with other people's money. Usually they're exaggerating the high side and sometimes they exaggerate on the low side. So right now what you're looking at is a manic, or mania, if you want to call it that, of people buying into this idea that oil is going to go to $200 a barrel, which I do not believe it's going to do. But you have to remember again that these prices are decided in the pits in Chicago and in these alternative investment markets. They're not decided by everybody in the world. It's just a very small number of people who are gambling basically on the future price of oil.
Steve Gruber
And that's what I'm getting at. Speculators, manipulators, profiteering traders. Oil was $67 on the 27th of February, I believe. Now it's $112. So it's gone up $50 a barrel. Close enough. You said $200 a barrel. If the Strait of Hormuz was closed permanently. You do have a pipeline across Saudi Arabia that'll take it across to the Red Sea. That move about 7 million barrels a day. Take that pressure off. Off. There's. There's no mathematical justification to get oil to $200 a barrel. Just not, is there?
Ed Matowski
No speculation.
Steve Gruber
I don't think there's justification to have it at 112, to be honest with you, Ed, but go ahead.
Ed Matowski
No, it truly is. And you use the exact word speculation. That's exactly what's happening. And they're speculating that prices are going to go higher. I mean, who in their right mind would buy oil at $112 a barrel? You know, the only thing you could. I could think of is that they're foolish because oil is going to drop. But then there's some people in there who are shorting oil. I actually have a short position on oil right now, and I believe oil prices are going to come lower. And when they do, I think they're going to come lower very, very quickly. But then there's people who are speculators who I believe are going to push oil prices lower because they've shorted oil. So. So it really is a huge manipulation of oil prices. And this is what they do. They'll do it with corn one day, they'll do it with meat prices. They'll do it with just about any commodity out there when there's volatility or when there's some geopolitical event around it and there's a lot of speculation going on recently.
Steve Gruber
Didn't we just see it recently, Ed, with silver, when they pushed silver to $121 an ounce, and now it's back at $70 and has been for a long time. So they pushed it all the way up to the speculators, took all their profit, and then it drops.
Ed Matowski
Same thing with gold, same thing with copper. So people have to remember. Go ahead.
Steve Gruber
I was gonna say. Let me guess. The oil companies, they're not upset that it says $112 today or $120 or during the Biden administration when I got to $140 a barrel. The oil companies, they're not going broke, are they?
Ed Matowski
No, they don't. They want to see oil, right? At $70, that's where they want to see oil. They don't want it to be too high, and they don't want it to be too low. The numbers that I heard from my friend from ConocoPhillips is that they want oil to be at around $70 a barrel.
Steve Gruber
And so how long does it take us to return to that point, Ed? Because again, the United States doesn't get very much oil at all out of the Middle East, 2 to 4%. So for us, it's not a big deal. But it is a global commodity. I understand that. But once Venezuela starts going full production, when Guyana gets on board and starts going full production in another couple years, which is just north of Venezuela, there, when America starts producing more in a place like California, because the Defense Production act has been invoked by the president, all of this cumulative adds up because we currently still use more oil than we produce domestically. Right. About 13 million barrels. We produce. 20 million barrels. We use. We need about a 7 million barrel fix. Once we get there, we no longer need the Middle East. That changes everything forever. Last word to you?
Dr. James Thorpe
Yeah.
Ed Matowski
I mean, again, you have to remember that the speculation is the key to the oil prices right now. And as long as there's people out there who can make money manipulating and playing around with the price of oil, we're going to see this type of volatility. But I do believe once we get the passage of the straight of vermouth done, we're going to see oil prices drop precipitously.
Steve Gruber
All right. Well, I hope you're right. The problem for gas prices is they'll linger for a while because it's up like a rocket, down like a feather. That's what I have learned, Ed. I'm going to. I'm going to make this prediction one more time. Record profits for the oil companies. I hope you got some stock in the big oil companies. You might do all right. Abatowski. Always appreciate talking to you, my friend. Thank you.
Ed Matowski
Thank you, Steve.
Steve Gruber

Well, good news. The Wellness Company says it has completed what it calls a first of its kind human observational study looking at the use of two well known medications, Ivermectin and Benazole in cancer patients. The early findings are drawing attention with the study reporting that a majority of participants saw some form of positive responsibility. Nearly half who reported cancer regression or no evidence of the disease at all. And others who saw their condition stabilized. That's all good news. The results could open the door to new research into low cost repurposed drugs in the fight against cancer. Joining me to discuss the chief of maternal and prenatal health at The Wellness Company, Dr. James Thorpe. Doctor, thank you for being here.
Dr. James Thorpe
Thanks for having me, Steve.
Steve Gruber
All right, first of all, if you could tell the viewers what is a human observational study and what are we looking at here?
Dr. James Thorpe
Right. An observational study is simply a study that observes prospectively patients outcomes. So it's very simple. It's not a scientific randomized study where you allocate patients to treatment.
Steve Gruber
All right, so when we go from this study, what did we learn? You've got Ivermectin, one of the most, one of the safest, most used drugs on the planet. Millions of doses a year. Right. It's used for parasites. And my understanding, if I'm reading this right, parasitic infections feed similar to the way a cancer tumor feeds and that's the relationship that's being studied, Is that correct?
Dr. James Thorpe
I think that's in part that's correct. Absolutely. So this is really important. This is the first study of its kind in the world. And of course there's nobody to fund this because repurposed drugs aren't able to be patented and you can't make billions of dollars off them. So this study was funded by the Wellness company and what we did was we observed patients, voluntarily participated and gave a follow up survey. And the Results are stunning, Steve. 84% clinical benefit ratio. 84%. A third of the patients had no evidence of cancer. Some might consider it a cure, almost a third after six months of therapy. So this is something that needs to be studied more thoroughly and proven and we intend to do that at the Wellness Company.
Steve Gruber
Yeah. The vast majority of people that took these medications had a positive outcome or at least a status quo. And look, if you have a tumor, if you have a tumor that just stays status quo and doesn't metastasize and doesn't get bigger, that's a win most days, isn't it?
Dr. James Thorpe
That's absolutely correct. This was a heterogeneous group of cancers. So this is, you know, we, we've seen, you've seen, many people have seen all over the world, anecdotal cases up in Canada from some doctors here in the United States, from doctors, but nobody has studied them ever before like we have studied them in a formal fashion. Now this is a gold standard. It doesn't prove that there's benefit. What it does prove is that we need to do further study and we need to look into this. The downside is very little. These are very safe drugs as you pointed out. And from a mechanistic perspective, there's over a dozen different actual mechanisms by which ivermectin itself treats a cancer, at least in the test tube or in animal studies. There's certainly a basis for using this therapy and our results seem to be
Steve Gruber
consistent with that, that's for sure. The reality is however, that there is only so much the government can actually do and that if we really want to make America healthy again, that starts at home with you and me. All right. What makes America wonderful? We try to do it every day to put a smile on your face before you head on out the door. How about the story that comes to us from NASA, where the Artemis 2 mission has reached a historic milestone. The crew now arriving at the location of the moon and approaching a record breaking distance from Earth. The four astronauts, Reed Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, have entered the moon's gravitational sphere as their Orion spacecraft continues its journey through space. They're on track to complete a flyby of the moon's far side, a phase of the mission that lasts several hours and brings a unique view of the lunar surface. During this time, the crew will lose communication with earth for about 40 minutes as the Orion Ryan spacecraft passes behind the moon. Oh, the dark side of the moon. By 7:05, the crew is expected to reach the mission's maximum distance from Earth, about 252,757 miles, which is 4,102 miles beyond the record held by the Apollo 13 crew for 56 years. This will make them the farthest humans have traveled from our planet in more than half a century, too. During the flyby, the spacecraft will pass about 4,000 miles above the moon's far side. This will give them a window, the astronauts, at a rare opportunity to capture photos and observations, including a stunning view of Earth rising above the lunar horizon. What makes America wonderful is the drive to explore and innovate and be Americans, for God's sake. The power of courage and determination, pushing the boundaries of human achievement, inspiring generations to dream big and reach for the stars. You know why? Because America does big things. That's why. Be proud of it. I'm gonna skip the question of the day today. I'm just gonna feel good about being in America. Is that all right with you? I feel good about being in America when I see us do big things and good things. And I felt really good about finding that pilot 7,000ft up in Iran while they scrambled to put a price on his head and drag him down to be humiliated in front of the world, our people kicked open the doors of hell and said, hey, he's going with us. That makes me feel good, too, by the way. God bless America. Let that go with you today. We do big things in America. We always have. Stop apologizing. Stop listening to the noise. Stand up for this great country you live in. That's what makes America great. I feel better. You feel better? I feel a little bit better. Tomorrow morning, 6am The Steve grew show, the Steve Gruber Show. Kicking off live programming here in real America's Voice. I'll see you then. Don't miss a minute.
