Breaking news right now here on Real America's Voice. Unfiltered. These people are domestic terrorists and unapologetic. We're here to take a stand for God and country. Does feel good. America's Voice Live starts now. Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Guru. It is Friday 12th December in the year of our Lord 2025. Let's get into these top stories. As always, thank you for joining me here. Unreal America's Voice. I appreciate it. Jerome Powell and the Fed made the third rate cut in a row, which will drive mortgage rates lower and get them squarely below 6% on 30 year fixed mortgages. It means lower prices in other areas as well, showing the economy is in repair mode. More on that today. Also, President Trump has put action first, this time in the form of the Genesis Mission, an executive order that will attempt to revive AI restrictions on the federal level. Relieve that is this would ensure that developers in the US could tap into all the capabilities this new frontier of technology has to offer. More on that. And then later, I'll bring on an active duty West Virginia National Guardsman to discuss how the recent shooting of two National Guard troops in D.C. could shape the future of the National Guard's presence in the nation's capital. All that and more coming your way on America's Voice Live. But first, I want to start with Venezuela. The Trump administration is taking bold action against Venezuela, announcing the seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker and a clear enforcement of U.S. sanctions. President Trump framed the move as part of a broader strategy to hold Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, the dictator accountable on a leader the US Considers illegitimate and tied to notorious drug cartels like De La Souls and that network. The operation was led by the Coast Guard with Navy support executing a federal court warrant off the coast of Venezuela in international water. Attorney General Pam Bondi stressed the legal foundation of the action, pointing out that the tanker had long been sanctioned for transporting Venezuelan and Iranian oil in support of foreign terrorist organizations. Unlike previous military strikes targeting alleged drug traffickers, this seizure is purely a sanctions enforcement action. Since September, US forces have carried out at least 22 strikes near Venezuela, killing 87 drug traffickers. Officials say the administration is also considering land based strikes to further pressure Maduro's criminal regime and impact his cash flow. No doubt these moves are necessary to protect the United States, uphold the rule of law and send a strong message to rogue governments profiting from illegal oil and drug operations. Not only that, on Thursday, the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced it sanctioning three of Maduro's wife's nephews, a Maduro affiliated businessman and six shipping companies operating in Venezuela's oil sector. Trump administration's approach combines legal precision with decisive action, signaling that the United States will not stand by while Maduro and his criminal networks exploit global markets and threat American interests. Joining me to discuss is retired Air Force Colonel Rob Manus. Colonel, nice to see you again.
Rob Manus
Good to see you, Steve.
Steve Gruber
Let's talk about seizure of that oil tanker. Of course, on the left, they're going crazy on social media. Their hair is on fire. To be frank, they say this is another illegal operation by Donald Trump. But this is not new. This is not something that hasn't been done before. We've done it for, well, as long as I've been around, haven't we?
Rob Manus
Oh, yeah. We've been doing this for decades because there's been sanctions on specific transfers of things like oil to terrorist organizations and adversary organizations. And that's why the Coast Guard was involved and led the operation. It's entirely legal under the rule of law. Now, in this case, military forces, I think Marines were in support mode and they were helping with the boarding and seizure of the vessel itself. But that isn't out of the ordinary either. It's very, very common. We've done this thousands of times in places like the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea and the Mediterranean. So nothing unusual here. As matter of fact, it's even less unusual than destroying the drug boats which we're using under the foreign terrorist organization designation and authorized use of military force.
Steve Gruber
Right. We're also authorized under the Maritime Drug Law enforcement act of 1986. I've discussed this with you before, but I want to point it out again. It was written and co sponsored by Chuck Schumer, who was in the House of Representatives at the time, which gives the United States the authority to blow up drug delivering vessels like the ones we have so far. This is not new either. We did it repeatedly in the 80s, repeatedly in the 90s. This was common practice back then. The only difference now, it's Donald Trump doing it. That's the only distinction I can find. Colonel, your thoughts?
Rob Manus
That is the only distinction. You know, the Democrats and even some Republicans have Trump derangement syndrome and everything he does, they feel obligated and are going to, even though it's insane, oppose it. But this is the right thing to do for the American people. As a matter of fact, I think we should be doing more of it, especially if in the Pacific part of the traffic zone, because that's where a lot of the actual fentanyl is traffic up into the United States through that side, out of Colombia. And you know, these operations should be putting countries like Colombia and Mexico on notice that they better get control of their narco terrorist cartels, because the United States isn't going to put up with this anymore. And Venezuela is probably just the first, because it's the largest threat, has actually sent invaders into our country along with Islamist terrorists that they've supported from Hezbollah and Iran. And that makes them the number one enemy on this. And that's exactly what we should be doing. You know, the only difference this time is that they've been designated a foreign terrorist organization as a narco terrorist cartel, which is another right on the money, right on target methodology to do the right thing in accordance with the laws of armed conflict. So we have two separate pieces of law that we can operate under here and accomplish the same goal using the very same tools.
Steve Gruber
So when critics scream loudly, this is a war crime. This is a violation of international law. They're not just wrong, they're very wrong about this. We have got the legislation. I've got it right here in front of me from Chuck Schumer. Thank you, Senator. You authored this, you sponsored this, you endorsed this. And then in 1989, Joe Biden went out and basically complained to George H.W. bush, the president, that we were not strong enough in the war on drugs that we needed to hit them where they live. Joe Biden said in 1989, We've got the tape, of course. And he was right. We should hit them where they live, Rob. We should nail them right where they are and stop the flow of drugs here and the flow of money there.
Rob Manus
I completely agree with you. And I, and I fully expect and voted for this type of use for our, especially our military forces, Steve, and that is to target and destroy the narco terrorist drug cartels everywhere we find them. And that includes ground targets. If these countries will not get control of their own territory, we not only have a right, we have an obligation. And we are following the law, both of armed conflict and international law and US law, as you just so rightly pointed out, in order to get this job done. And it's saving thousands and thousands of American lives. I think the President said just not long ago that for each drug boat we destroy, it saves about 25,000American lives because we lose almost 100,000Americans to this fentanyl every year. And let's talk about that for a second, just to touch on this. Look, they say that the stuff coming out of Venezuela is just cocaine, while fentanyl is sprinkled all over that cocaine and many, many other drugs. Then it's that kind of stuff that kills people, especially like the fake prescription drugs like Xanax and everything. They end up with fentanyl on them and kids die from every single day, which. Exactly right. We need to be doing this.
Steve Gruber
Here's the next part, Rob, and this is really important. Donald Trump has alluded to the idea of not just being in the water and taking out these boats, but being on land. I don't know if that looks like it's not gonna be an invasion like we saw in Panama. It's not gonna be that, but it's gonna be something. And then you talked about the designation of these drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. All true, but eight were designated. Two are in Venezuela, six are in Mexico. Claudia Sheinbaum, the President of Mexico, said absolutely not. You're not allowed to come into our country. You're not allowed to touch our drug cartels. I don't know if that holds or not. Look, the biggest and most dangerous drug cartels, because of their proximity to our border, to our country, they're all in Mexico and their routes have been disrupted by a secure border. But this has to be an all or nothing war on drugs. Look, it's time to get serious. Just like Joe Biden said in 1989, hit them where they live. What is the next step?
Rob Manus
The next step is special Operations forces raid type activity. To precisely get on the ground and destroy these cartels capability, root and branch and pull it out, zero it out, Steve. Because if we don't do that, this will continue and they'll continue to kill thousands of Americans every year. And that's the wrong thing to do. I have advocated for using our special ops forces. They from, from taking them from places like the Ukraine, Russia border, which doesn't matter where that's located, to the United States and bringing them home, putting them in the southern part of the United States and getting control of this issue by doing these targeted, very precise raids, using those forces. And we can and should do that. You know what? The United States armed forces has had to go into Mexico without permission before. And I expect that we're going to do it again. And this is the context that you're going to see it happen.
Steve Gruber
It's funny you should mention that. Only five times in American history have we actually declared war. Of course the Democrats screaming, you have to declare war five times total in American history. The War of 1812, the Mexican American War of 1846, the Spanish American War of 1898, World War I and World War II. That's the only time. And you're right, we have declared war in Mexico before. I hope we don't go there again, but I hope, you know, Mexico, they've arrested 37,000 people involved in the drug trade. 37,000 criminals. Mexico is rounded up. They're listening, they're getting the message. I don't know what happens next. And the southern border more secure than it's been in my lifetime or yours. So maybe we're making steps in the right direction and can find other solutions. Your thoughts on that?
Rob Manus
We may be making steps in the right direction, but the equipment, the infrastructure, the lines of communication, the, the logistics tale that comes in from China with the precursors to the fentanyl, all still exist. And until that is completely restored, destroyed and gotten out of there and nobody is in control of it except for the government, then we got to keep going and we got to keep pressure on and we, and we have to use our own special operations forces to get it done. And keep in mind the government of Mexico is completely and thoroughly infested with cartel operatives that are there to enforce the cartel's desires.
Steve Gruber
Yeah. One of the most corrupt governments on the planet is Mexico. Everybody knows that. Something else we need to be mindful of, and we've only got a short time left here, Rob, but I'd like you to address it, and that is the Northern Border. I'm here in Detroit. Look. The northern border from the state of Washington to the state of Maine, it has also become a transport and transfer point for these illegal drugs. We need to be mindful of that, too, don't we?
Rob Manus
Oh, we absolutely do. Remember, two of the 911 terrorists infiltrated through the northern border before they got on those airplanes. So it's extremely important, not just from the drug trade perspective, but from a national security perspective, to prevent attacks from terrorists. And Joe Kent, the head of the National Counterterrorism center, just testified yesterday that there are more than 2,000 known Afghani jihadi terrorists inside this country, based on the debacle of the withdrawal from Afghanistan that Joe Biden's administration conducted.
Steve Gruber
And yet the members of Congress had the nerve to go after Kristi Noem yesterday on the Hill, calling her everything but a good person because they're locking down and going after these criminals. It is absolutely ridiculous. I'll give you the last word.
Rob Manus
It is ridiculous. And the other ridiculous thing is that one of the congressman from my state of Mississippi, Bennie Thompson, said that the killing of the National Guard soldier was an unfortunate accident. How despicable and destructive can one man be to the United States of America?
Dan Schwartz
He needs.
Steve Gruber
The worst thing I have ever heard, Rob. It was so. It was so horrible. And she corrected him. An unfortunate accident. They got shot in the head with a.357. The young woman is dead. The young man still laying in a hospital. Will he ever fully recover? We don't know. God, we hope he does. But that was a horrible thing from Benny Thompson. I'm glad you brought that up, Rob. I got to leave it there. Thank you for being here today.
Rob Manus
Absolutely, Steve, Thanks.
Steve Gruber
All right, after the break, I'll discuss the recent rate cut by the Fed, the third one this year, as well as the markets which are on pace to set yet another record. Silver's also on fire. Details straight ahead.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again. Cause more people are listening to the radio on iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio. Where the reach is real. Well, Wall street has seen a lot of action this week with the Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 hitting record highs Thursday, fueled by optimism where recent Federal Reserve rate cut and a shift into value stocks. Investors rotating out of tech with the Nasdaq slipping after a disappointing earnings from Oracle and Broadcom Financials and health care led the gains, of course, while consumers favorites like Lululemon and even cannabis stocks saw rallies. Smoke them if you got them. As this week closes, the Dow looks poised for another record while the broader market pulls back slightly. Yet overall weekly gains signal cautious confidence in the economy. I guess that's good news. Not only that, but Jerome Powell and the Fed made that third rate cut which will drive mortgage rates below 6% squarely on those 30 year fixed mortgages. And it means lower prices in other areas as well, showing the economy seems to be repairing itself. Joining me to discuss this, the former treasurer for the state of Nevada. He was there from 2015 to 2019. And the US army veteran, Dan Schwartz. Dan, nice to see you again.
Dan Schwartz
Thanks, Steve, for having me.
Steve Gruber
A pleasure, absolutely. Look, the Dow's down a little bit today, but Wednesday, Thursday it went up more than 1,000 points. It's down a couple hundred points now. Gold just set an all time record for today. Crypto is still in the tank, but it seems to be coming back a little bit. I mean, there's some mixed messages from the economy, but overall most things look positive. What would you say to that?
Dan Schwartz
I agree with that, Steve. I think ultimately you're looking at the economy if you look at the basic parameters, the forces driving it, interest rates are coming down, earnings have held up, employment's a little unemployment, employment, unemployment's a little soft. I think that the stock market is up. People are nervous that it's not quite at its high. But you've had huge gains in the past, well, the past six months. So people are probably taking some profits. I don't see that as a huge negative.
Steve Gruber
So as you look at the overall economy, obviously there's some things that have gotten people's attention, not the least of which gas prices. Gas prices down again today. The national average 293. Several states are at 235 or below. States like Texas and Oklahoma. Cheap energy is the lifeblood of this country, always has been. Vast quantities of cheap energy run the American economy. So as energy prices come down, I expect good things to happen. What do you say to that?
Dan Schwartz
Yeah, Steve? I mean, I'm actually positive. I think there was a conference in New York that just ended a day or so of the Goldman Sachs conference.
Patrick Hedger
You can think of them what you.
Dan Schwartz
Wish, but the tenor there was actually very positive. As I said, there are a lot of good signs. There's momentary blips in the market, but I think under President Trump, he's done a lot of good things and those seem to be coming through. So I think any investor in the stock market just has to, you know, Warren Buffett does it, and I think he's been pretty successful is to just take a long view.
Steve Gruber
So, yeah, Warren Buffett figured things, some things out once or twice. Yeah. And Oxy P, I was his big investment here a couple of years ago. Ox, the petroleum company. Right. Occidental. He went big into Occidental. And you know what? It paid off in spades like always. You know, whatever Warren does, probably a good idea to follow suit. Again, though, it comes back to energy in America. We need to abandon this idea that windmills are going to power America. They're not. We need oil, we need natural gas like it's opening up in Alaska in a big way. We need all of this energy. And when I say all the above, I don't mean windmills and solar panels. I mean real energy density that you get from hydrocarbons. I think it's the foundation for a solid economy. What do you say?
Dan Schwartz
Yeah, I think we're clearly in a hydrocarbon economy now. We're trying these other solar, wind, thermo. Actually, this is maybe somewhat irrelevant. I was in Iceland over the summer and something like 99% of their energy comes from below ground. But they're in a unique situation and I think the US Just has to understand that, at least for the moment.
Steve Gruber
Oil.
Dan Schwartz
I'm not so enthusiastic about gas, but oil and natural gas are really powering the economy and I think we should stay with it.
Steve Gruber
I would agree with that. What other areas do you see that are strong in the economy? Look, the jobs have been weak. I think that's fair to say. Jobs have been fairly weak. Wages have gone up. Inflation on groceries is 1.2% since January when Donald Trump took office. So it's not better, but it's not going up out of control. It's not 9.1% like it was in the summer of 2022. So controlling inflation is incredibly important. Look, the economy today seems to be warming up. It could be a really decent economy six months down the line. By the time we get to the summer, June, July of 2026, it could be pretty decent from all indications I'm seeing. Are you optimistic about that? I am.
Dan Schwartz
I mean, if you look at the major forces powering the economy, interest rates are on the way down for sure. I think that's really important. I think inflation is under control. And I think you've got people have said that the economy is really being powered by the top 2%, the top 10%. I think that's an issue. But as long as people keep spending and they have the means to spend, I think that's a positive sign. And the stock market is up, as I say, it's up so much that probably the conservative investors or those who are a little nervous are taking some profits. And there's nothing wrong with that. But I think overall all the conditions are very positive.
Steve Gruber
Well, I guess you're bullish on 2026, Dan, and I hope you are. You sound positive. I like that. You're out in the Bay State right there. It's beautiful. I'll give you the last word.
Dan Schwartz
Yeah, I think I'll keep it short. I'm optimistic. I think there's certainly going to be some crosswinds and other impediments. But I think if you sit back, you look at the major forces driving the economy, there's no reason why you shouldn't be positive.
Steve Gruber
There you go. Dan Schwartz, greatly appreciate you being here, my friend. Merry Christmas.
Dan Schwartz
Merry Christmas to you, sir. And thank you.
Steve Gruber
There you go. Thank you. All right, after the break, I'll discuss President Trump's efforts to relieve AI restrictions on a federal level so that US Developers can use its benefits to their advantage, not to a foreign advantage. It's an executive order known as the Genesis mission. I'll discuss it next right here on America's Voice Live.
iHeart Advertising Announcer

Well, like it or not, artificial intelligence is shaping its way into becoming part of every facet of your life, every single thing. While we can't agree to disagree on that fact, one thing that does remain true is that President Trump's constant bid to advance AI development, an effort proposed to ensure that the United States, this country, is ahead of other countries, China in particular. Well, President Trump has put action first, this time in the form of the Genesis Mission, a recently signed executive order that will attempt to relieve AI restrictions on a federal level to make sure the developers here who are working on AI can tap into all the capabilities this new frontier of technology has to offer. Furthermore, the Department of Energy will work with President Trump to ensure that the data centers responsible for this proposal get the output they need and the ability to build. Get those roadblocks out of the way. Join me to discuss is NetChoices Director of Policy Patrick Hedger. Patrick, welcome back to the program. This is a big deal. We're gonna get rid of the roadblocks, the permitting processes, so we can get things built in this country. We can get to rare earth elements in Alaska. That will be the backbone of a lot of the things we do. We're gonna have power, actual power, not windmills, so that data centers, like the brand new Samsung data center just built in Austin, Texas, has all the power it needs. As an easy example, Patrick, we're laying the groundwork, the foundation, the infrastructure to make America the dominant player on the planet when it comes to AI. And look, the world's going to change more in the next 10 years than it has in the last 10,000. That's something to say because we are affected and impacted by AI every day. Where do you want to start?
Patrick Hedger
Yeah, I think talking about how the administration is continuing to clear out regulatory hurdles, whether that is state regulations that may influence the development of AI models in a negative way. The Trump administration last night released an executive order to that effect, which is really, really great, putting in place structures that guarantee that AI will be regulated at the federal level, where it should be regulated, because it is fundamentally an interstate technology. But I think you raise an important point about what else the administration is doing in terms of actually making sure that we have the infrastructure necessary to power AI, because it's going to require a lot of electricity, it's going to require those data centers. And it's. What you said is exactly right. Really, really important initiative here from this administration.
Steve Gruber
Patrick, I have to be honest. You know, I'm just some guy out here in farm country, but I say. And here you say regulate AI, and I think that's like trying to tame a wild beast. I mean, it's the wild west out there in AI in many regards. You know, it controls my phone, it controls my computer, it controls my car, it controls my dishwasher. I mean, AI is everywhere. Right. And so when you say regulate, dial it in for us. What do you mean by that? And how much control do we really have?
Patrick Hedger
Yeah, so AI is already subject to all existing consumer protection statutes. So there is a. It's a bit of a myth to say that AI is entirely a wild west. While there are some new regulatory regimes that may be necessary, those need to be done at the federal level, and they need to be focused on going after known harms and known problematic outcomes, not trying to regulate the underlying math and models themselves. That's what we've seen in the European Union, where they have created this structure where you have to go essentially get permission from the government. They have to review your technology before you launch it. Innovation doesn't move at the pace of government. And so if we're going to have regulatory guardrails around AI, they need to be. They need to be such that innovation is still allowed to proceed apace and not be subject to some of the types of regulation that we've seen in the past that we're clearing the way for now. We don't need a National Environmental Policy act, for example, for AI, or else we will never get this technology to its true potential.
Steve Gruber
Some guardrails, some. Some regulation, but not roadblocks is what you're saying. Patrick, I'll give you the last word.
Patrick Hedger
Yeah, I think this is ultimately something that needs to be done at the federal level. Again, AI is fundamentally an interstate service on the back of the Internet, and you don't want to have 50 different laws at the state level that some of which may conflict with one another and also empower radical bureaucrats and other elected officials at the state level that would use these laws to be able to control the outputs of an AI system that I think is really dangerous and needs to be preempted at the federal level.
Steve Gruber
Always appreciate it, Patrick. Thank you for Sharing today.
Patrick Hedger
Thank you.
Steve Gruber
Well, there are a lot of politicians that maybe should get coal in their stocking for Christmas. But Birchgold thinks you as a smart planner, you deserve something much better. You deserve some silver. By the way, silver set an all time record high yesterday. And for every $5,000 you purchase between now and December 22nd, Birchgold will send you an ounce of silver free in this beautiful coin which is up over 100% this year. 110% year over year. See smart people diversify and have a hedge. That's why I encourage you to buy gold from Birch Gould. With the rate cuts from the Fed in 2026, the dollar will be worth less. And what happens if the AI bubble that we just talked about bursts? Diversify. Let Birch Gold Group help you convert an existing IRA or 401 into a tax sheltered IRA and physical gold. And like I said, for every $5,000 you buy, you'll get an ounce of silver in your stocking or for your kids, whatever you'd like. It's a great way to teach them about saving smartly. Just text America to 98-98-98. Claim your eligibility for this offer. Again, text America to the number 989-898 today because Birch Gold's free silver with a qualifying purchase promotion ends on the 22nd of December and then it's gone. Text America to 98. 98 98. Coming up after the break, I'll discuss how the recent shooting of two West Virginia National Guard troops could have a huge impact on what may happen with the national guard in D.C. going forward. That and more next on AVL.

Run a business and not thinking about podcasting. Think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than ads supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? November 26th was the day in which we all learned of the tragic shooting of two National Guards and stationed in Washington D.C. the two Guardsmen affected were Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe and Specialist Sarah Beckstrom. Wolfe said to be making progress in his recovery. But Beckstrom died, of course, shot in the head. While the use of the National Guard in some cities was always subject to debate, no one expected these disagreements to lead to murder. Invoke you want to think about what the administration plans to do next when considering the use of the National Guard in American cities. Join me to discuss is an active duty National Guardman and West Virginia State Representative Tom Willis. Tom, welcome to the program. Glad to have you back.
Tom Willis
Good to see you, Steve. Thanks for having me on.
Steve Gruber
And of course, these two National Guard members, both from West Virginia. This has got to be a personal issue for the folks that you put on the uniform with there at home.
Tom Willis
Well, it is a personal issue. I'm still a member of the West Virginia National Guard Guard. I'm here speaking as a candidate U.S. senate and a state senator today. Not on behalf of the West Virginia National Guard, but it's deeply personal for us. We're in pain over the loss of Sarah Beckstrom. We just had her funeral this past week and we're very angry about what happened. This murder, assassination, and it's something that never should have happened. And we need to take a comprehensive look at our immigration policy. But you're right, the good news is that Andrew Wolf is doing much better. He's recovering. He's still in serious condition. And so he still needs our prayers. The family's asking for our prayers. But we have seen signs of recovery and so we're very encouraged to hear that news.
Steve Gruber
So I don't expect this to change the president's take on the National Guard. Look, I haven't looked recently, but the way it's running is we will be at the lowest murder rate for a 12 month period. If you extrapolate out the murder rate that we have in Washington, D.C. right now to the lowest rate in more than 40 years. Carjackings are down 75%. Sexual assault down 35%. There is no question. I don't care which metric you check. Violent crime in our nation's capital is down to lows that we haven't seen in decades. The results are clear. And I would hope that the president would keep the National Guard in D.C. ongoing. Your thoughts on that?
Tom Willis
Well, you know, when I was a young man, I read the president's book, the Art of the Deal. And I remember him talking about attention to detail in that book. And I think it was an insight into how the President thinks and what's important to him. And he's a person that prioritizes order. And I can't imagine when he's walking down Washington D.C. a year ago, looking at the crime and the homelessness and the danger, it must have driven him crazy. And so I'm not surprised that he took his action. And let's remember DC is a different legal scenario because it's not a state. So when you're talking about the states and the use of the National Guard, that's a different legal paradigm than Washington, DC. In Washington, DC, the President is the commander in chief of the DC National Guard. The DC National Guard reports directly to the President. And so it's a different legal framework than the rest of the country. And I'll tell you, even after Sarah Beckstrom was shot in the head and we lost her to the good Lord, we still had one hundred and fifty, one hundred and sixty West Virginia National Guardsmen that volunteered to continue the mission for a few more weeks and possibly beyond. And so they told us it was very moving. They told leadership, we're not going to back down, we're not going to be deterred, we're not going to give in to terrorism, and we're going to step forward and raise our right hand and we're going to continue this mission and keep DC safe. So we're very proud of our West Virginia national guard in Washington D.C. as.
Steve Gruber
Well you should be. You know, I've been there. I see them walking down the streets. They're always pleasant. Yeah, I saw a video yesterday just being totally heckled ruthlessly by some clown who claimed to have been a veteran. Don't know if he was or wasn't about how they're violating the Constitution. They should be ashamed of themselves. And they just smile and they take it and let it run right off their backs. I'm so proud of those folks. And normally I see them interacting with people, having conversations and so forth. And again, the results, you can't argue with the results of what has happened. It's been a clear victory for this administration. And if other cities like New Orleans and Memphis say, look, we want the National Guard, then they can go in. There is some legal question about whether they can go into other cities. Been a lot of battles in court because apparently Chicago's doing great. They've only had 2,000 people shot this year. They've only had 414 murders this year. So apparently they want to just keep the Things the way they are there in Chicago because it's so lovely for the people that live there. I mean, how ridiculous is that?
Tom Willis
Yeah, it's very sad what the Democrat mayors across the country are doing to their cities and just really holding their citizens hostage to this crime and insecurity. So it's interesting, under the Insurrection Act, a governor can ask the president to send in troops, to send a National Guard help. And the other, the other instance under the Insurrection act that allows for the president to deploy troops is when there's an obstruction of federal laws. And so this is what you see playing out in the courts. Now we saw the court in California, I believe it was today or yesterday, just said that the President has to turn authority over the troops, the National Guard troops in Los Angeles back over to the state National Guard. I haven't read the case, but presumably that judge is reviewing the case and finding that there's no longer an obstruction to justice in Los Angeles. So the federal troop present isn't warranted. The President would have the option then to go to the second clause under the Insurrection act which says if there's an obstruction of justice, then federal troops can go in or if the governor invites you. So you see in Louisiana where the governor has invited the president in, so it's a different scenario. And this is the chess game that the Democrats are playing with the administration right now that we see playing out across the country and in the courts.
Steve Gruber
Tom, good conversation and again, we appreciate what the National Guard from your great state is doing to keep America first everywhere. Sir, thank you and Merry Christmas.
Tom Willis
Merry Christmas, Steve. Thank you.
Steve Gruber

Welcome back to America's Voice Live. Chronic joint inflammation, whether driven by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or post traumatic injury, it remains one of the most debilitating conditions in modern life. Joining me to discuss the issue is the chief of pediatric medicine at the Wellness Compter Wellness Company. That is Dr. Alejandro Diaz. Doctor, nice to see you today, Steve.
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
Thank you so much for having me on.
Steve Gruber
So how prevalent is this chronic joint inflammation? Chronic joint pain across America, Steve, like.
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
You said, it's very debilitating disease. And approximately in the United states, there are 60 million people, can you imagine that living with chronic pain? And it's worrisome for the medical community because with chronic pain you can have also another chronic diseases. So it's important to take care of that.
Steve Gruber
Chronic pain? Yes. You're hobbled up. I mean, you're not getting around. It's difficult to get in and out of bed, walk up short flights of stairs. I get it. Is it true that most of the treatments available for chronic joint inflammation simply treat the symptoms, dull the pain or whatever, and don't actually tackle the underlying problem?
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
That is correct. Most of the treatments available out there, it will just go and mask the problem, but will not go to the problem or the root itself. So it's important to take care of.
Steve Gruber
That part of the Chronic pain. How is the wellness company's Therablue different from what is normally used to treat chronic joint inflammation?
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
Therablue, it's an amazing product. It's a next generation topical formula designed to deliver fast, targeted and lasting relief for muscle, joint and nerve discomfort. It's a combination of peptides and botanical products, you know, amazing, like methylene blue, arnica, vitamin E and so many other components that they were castor oil, among others, that in combination they will penetrate to deeper tissue and it will relieve immediate that pain that it's so, so hard to live with.
Steve Gruber
Here's a question that comes to mind. I think a lot of people will be asking Therablue, is it safe enough to be used every day? That is correct.
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
You know, it's very safe because it's basically, we're talking about botanical products and natural products. So it's very safe and it's very effective, which is the most important part.
Steve Gruber
Yeah. Finally, why have we seen so much innovation from new health care companies like the Wellness Company and seemingly so few inexpensive and safe innovations coming from the biomedical establishment? Where are they in this? Are they out to lunch? What's going on?
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
After the Covid operation, what happened is that incredible companies like the Wellness Company committed with the American people that we started to develop this amazing product, products because we understood that there's a lot of problems, health problems out there. That with regular, regular medications there, I mean, they were just masking the problem. But we're trying to go to the root of the problem and help as many patients as we can.
Steve Gruber
One more thing I want to ask you about before I let you go are these great kits from the Wellness Company. They're available for the traditional medical emergency kits. You've got emergency first aid kits, you've got kids for kids. You've got all sorts of these great kits. It looks to me like the perfect gift to put under the tree. Dr. Because that way the medications you need, antivirals and so forth, are all here, antibacterials, all of it available right here in one kit. You don't have to run out of the house if you're sick. Things like, well, if you have the flu or whatever might happen, it's all there for you. What great kits. These are real quickly.
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
Basically the emergency kit, the contagion kit. Now with a lot of respiratory problems and infections and so on and so forth, that's an amazing tool for everybody should have it at home so they can use those products when they're needed.
Steve Gruber
Dr. Diaz greatly appreciate you being here, sir. Thank you so much.
Dr. Alejandro Diaz
Thank you so much.
Steve Gruber
All right. Get your products from the wellness company. Look, I use their products. That's why I have the emergency kit right here. Because I have them. It is a perfect gift under the tree. You know, a programming note here. Before we move into what makes America wonderful, we consider the real America's Voice family to be exactly that of family. And at Christmas time, family comes together. And it's just been brought to my attention that an avid viewer of this program, Beef Sloan in Greeley, Colorado, he passed away this week. He was a person who watched this show regularly, sent in notes on occasion. Read his comments here on the program. And so to his family in this Christmas season, we say our condolences. It really is a family here at real America's Voice. And we mean that you matter to us, and that's why we do this every day. So to Beef Sloan, rest in peace, my friend. What makes America wonderful, we do it every day in the hope of putting a smile on your face. We're going to try again today. Today's story comes to us from Alpine County, California where a family opened up a pizza restaurant to include those often overlooked. Pete's abilities owned by the Baker family found its inspiration to open up shop after their 19 year old daughter Grace expressed not being able to find employment because the fact that other employers would often overlook her because she has down syndrome. Rather than accepting reality and letting others dictate Grace's fate, the Bakers decided to open up shop with no prior restaurant experience, all in the name of proving that everyone can be a valuable addition regardless of their situation. The impact of this restaurant went far beyond the Baker family though, as they welcomed even more staff with other challenges, developmental, special needs and besides the wholesome initiative. Customers note that the pizza pretty damn good. Giving someone a chance regardless of their appearance or abilities is what this story highlights today and the efforts from the Bakers passes on that notion, ultimately reminding us and what makes America wonderful. Here's your America's Voice Question of the Day what are your thoughts on a federal judge ordering the release today of Kilmar Abreu Garcia? What do you think of that? Neil Melusi writes, the hatred for one man has changed our country for the worse. Justices shouldn't justify the corruption of justice. I hope they keep tabs on him. We do too. Annette Staggs Strickland. Deport him. Send that judge with him. Well then that some people feel that way. Diggers, girl. Want the judge accountable when he does another violation like an accessory to his crimes. You know that's not a bad idea when you let these people I'm not saying him necessarily, but you let somebody out 10, 15, 20, 50 times and they commit crimes. Yeah. The system should be held accountable. John Hogan writes this. This is the new lawfare went from prosecuting Trump attorneys to stopping his agenda with judges. True to that. Unicorn thug too. I wonder who unicorn thug number one is. He must be number two disgusted. All right uni, well done. Candace 522 says they should have left him rotting in El Salvador. I predicted this when they brought him back to face initial trafficking charges. What happened deporting him to all the other places he was supposed to go? Good question. Mike McLaughlin has this. It's an effort to every on a front that is to every American citizen and the judge knows it. Time to close these courts down, Mr. Johnson. And one more from Janet Nicholson. It's ridiculous. These judges need to be impeached. You know a lot of people feel that way. And if you feel like you'd like to chime in on the question of the day. Easy thing to do. Follow me on social media. Pick the usual suspects. You know, Facebook, Facebook, X Truth, whatever. You'll find the question every day. You can also send me an email to stevegruber.com we appreciate that. And I appreciate you starting your day with me here on Real America's Voice. Monday through Friday at 6am Yeah, I get up early, work all day. I get like 50 cents. I got a raise, so that's pretty cool. Speaking of getting a raise, the next guy, if I had his money, I'd be on a beach somewhere. Derek Bolling, everybody. Here he comes. Super important guy. There he is, everybody. Good looking fellas.
Caller / Listener
We're in West Beach. This is all fake. Actually, I'm not even here. I'm just doing this on the beach. And the ocean group. I have a bigger question. Question of the day. I got a question. What the hell is wrong with the state senate Republicans in Indiana? They rejected the redistricting. Are you kidding me? What's going on? What's happening here?
Steve Gruber
I guess I think it's okay for California to dictate what they get in Indiana. I guess I think it's okay for New Hampshire and Massachusetts and Connecticut to dictate what happened in Indiana. Look, blown away. Democrats, blown away.
Caller / Listener
They should turn in the Republican cards right now. I mean, because you're not. You're Ryan. You're.
Steve Gruber
You're not.
Caller / Listener
You're imposters.
Steve Gruber
I mean, wow, I agree with that. And then, no, it's a horrible mistake. Now the good news is the Supreme Court's going to rule in our favor. June. It's going to give us 12 more Republican seats because they're going to say you cannot gerrymander based on race. That'll mean seats in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and elsewhere. Because the Democrats, they're masters of gerrymandering and they're going to lose that court case. So you pick up the seats in Texas, you pick up a seat in North Carolina, you pick up a couple seats in Ohio. Maybe Florida. Florida's got to do it, Eric. Florida's got to get on the bandwagon. Give us five. And then you get a 20 seat Republican pickup or the.
Caller / Listener
You're gonna hate this.
Rob Manus
Hold your ears, Gruber.
Caller / Listener
The incompetent Howard Lutnick, our Commerce Secretary, should absolutely push through a. A census. Just put it through and you don't count illegals this time. And then, then you want to see the map thing. Then you'll see a different map completely. Then you'll see a red map.
Steve Gruber
Yeah, yeah. You got to do something. That's right. I agree with you. Look, Indiana blew it and I don't even get it. Indiana is like the first state when they close the polls, it's like three seconds later they call Indiana for whoever's running on the Republican ticket like a.
Caller / Listener
Border state to Indiana.

What do you think makes the perfect snack?
Steve Gruber
It's gotta be when I'm really craving it and it's convenient. Could you be more specific? When it's cravinient. Okay. Like a freshly baked cookie made with real butter available right down the street at a.m. p.m. Or a savory breakfast sandwich I can grab in just a the second at ampm. I'm seeing a pattern here. Well yeah, we're talking about what I.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Crave which is anything from ampm.
Steve Gruber
What more could you want? Stop by AMPM where the snacks and drinks are perfectly craveable and convenient. That's cravenience ampm. Too much good stuff.
