Live break right now here in Real America's Voice Filtered. These people are domestic terrorists and unapologetic. We're here to take a stand for God and country. Does feel good. America's Voice Live starts now.
Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Gruber. Today is Tuesday, December 9th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Let's get to today's top stories. As always, thank you so much for joining us here on Real America's Voice. We appreciate you being here. Thank you. Congress is advancing a new bill known as the Permit act to rewrite on how waters of the United States are defined under the Clean Water Act. Was expected to hit the floor by Thursday. I'll bring on Congressman Mike Collins of Georgia on that to discuss in just a few minutes. Also, the massive fraud scandal in Minnesota is puzzling to many people, especially the taxpayers of that state. Billions of dollars lost to fraud. Many calling on Tim Walls to be held accountable. He should resign. But he won't, of course. More on that. And then later reports say that ICE has lodged a detainer on an illegal alien charge with attempted murder after a brutal stabbing on the Charlotte light rail system. The same light rail system Marina Zarutska was murdered just a few weeks ago. I'll bring on Congressman Mark Harris to discuss that. All that and more coming up. But first, I want to discuss fraud in the Democrat Party. It's important. You see the Democrats have no moral high ground to stand on, as they so often claim they do for many reasons. One of the biggest, based on recent revelations, is that there is an alarming pattern of fraud among Democrats. An entire party built on fraud. In fact, I'd argue we've been covering the ridiculous amount of fraud to the tune of billions of dollars committed by the Somalian community in Minnesota, all under the nose of Governor Tim Walls, who defends it, by the way, Even other Democrats now acknowledge how bad this looks. They're calling on him and to stay out of the race next year. Ember Young is a former Minnesota Democrat state senator. He told outlets, quote, the governor, I think, has done a very respectable job, a good job in Minnesota for the years that he's been here. But he clearly is vulnerable. And in my view, he's riskier than any Democrat candidate that might run. Now, I am not sure.
How you square the amount of fraud happening in Minnesota with your assessment that Walz has done a very respectable job. Strange but true. But that's just the way it is with the Democratic Party. Any amount of fraud is no big deal as long as it furthers the agenda. That's it. They just avoid talking about the problem by playing the race card. And the Nazi card. Like Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, also from Somalia. She does it all the time. She says expecting immigrants to assimilate to American society and adopt American values reminds her of, you guessed it, the Nazis. Here she is. I want to ask you something else that the architect of the president's immigration policy, Stephen Miller, said on Thanksgiving Day. He posted no magic. Transformation occurs when failed states cross borders at scale. Migrants and their descendants recreate the conditions and terrors of their broken homelands. What do you make of this argument of failure to assimilate and sort of ruining America? How do you understand this?
F
I mean, when I think about Stephen Miller and his white supremacist rhetoric, it reminds me. Yes. It reminds me of the way the Nazis described Jewish people in Germany. And you know, as we know, there have been many immigrants who have tried to come to the United States who've turned back, you know, one of them being Jewish immigrants. We know the way that people were described who were coming from Ireland. Irish immigrants know the way in which people were described back then when they were Italian immigrants. And to me, you know, we're.
A
We're.
F
Yes, of course, ethnically Somali. We are in this country as Americans.
B
Yeah.
F
We are citizens. We are productive.
Part of this nation and we will continue to be.
B
Yeah. CBS's Margaret Brennan could not wait to tear up for that one. This is how they distract from the ruinous policies, but I'm not going to let them get away with it. Not one minute. Neither will the Trump administration. Not according to Dr. Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CMS. He says CMS is giving Walz 60 days. Clean up your act or else. Here he is.
D
When CMS became aware of the housing program situation, Minnesota insisted it could clean up its own mess. A few months ago it admitted it could not. So we stepped in to shut down the fraud infested housing initiative. Today we're taking action on more than a dozen other programs, which I've outlined in the post below. Our message to Waltz is either fix this in 60 days or start looking under your couch for spare change because we are done footing the bill for your incompetence. This administration will never stop fighting to protect the vulnerable Americans who rely on these programs and the taxpayers who fund them. We're going to crush waste, fraud and abuse.
B
I don't expect Wallace to take responsibility for his mess anytime soon or ever, frankly. Do you? That's just not the way the Democrat Party rolls. My guess is that the Trump administration is going to have their hands full of cases like this over the next three years as more and more corruption continues to come out of the woodwork. In fact, a whistleblower from a health company in Maine that some of the same kind of fraud is taking place in their state. Also from Somalian immigrants. And you guessed it, Maine is a blue state run by a Democrat Governor Janet Mills. She by the way, is now running for the Senate seat there. Failing upwards. It's the Democrat way. We'll have to keep our eye on that developing story as authorities look into the whistleblowers claims. I wouldn't be surprised one bit to find out it's all true. And if we do, we'll just hear more of the same from Democrats who accuse Trump of being creepy and obsessed when he demands justice for you, the taxpayers once again.
F
Ilhan Omar it's completely disgusting. These are Americans that he is calling garbage. And we feel like there is an unhealthy obsession that he has on the Somali community and an unhealthy and creepy obsession that he has with me. I think it is also really important for us to remember that this kind of hateful rhetoric and this level of dehumanizing can lead to dangerous actions by people who listen to the President.
B
Yeah, that's a lot of talk about dangerous actions from a party whose rhetoric has motivated mass amounts of violence in America just within the last year. Charlie Kirk's assassination obviously being the biggest example. But they haven't toned down the Nazi name calling one bit now, have they? No. Like I said, there's a pattern here. It's just much bigger than just Minnesota. The Small Business Administration has launched an investigation into money handed out by the government's 8A program which was designed to help small business owners by people who are socially and economically disadvantaged. It's a program that's been around since the 70s, but as you can imagine, it's turned into a DEI slush fund and cesspool that has been predictably exploited by waste, fraud and abuse. Imagine the federal government wants to hand out billions in contracts for things like services in construction or consulting. Normally, companies have to bid and compete, like in a fair race. But in the eight A program run by the Small Business Administration, it's like giving them a head start or even a shortcut to small businesses owned by people who are socially and economically disadvantaged. However they define that now, that usually means minorities like blacks and Hispanics, Native Americans, women or others who've historically faced barriers. The idea is noble. On paper it is help level the playing field so these folks have a fair shot against the giant corporations. They get set aside contracts reserved just for them, no competition needed just because of the color of their skin or their gender. Projects run 5 to 25% higher without real competition, by the way. And here's the real kicker. Biden's team jacked up the goals, aiming for 15% of all federal contracts to go to these disadvantaged groups, up from lower targets before, which poured tens of billions of dollars into the program without fixing any of the risk. This wasn't about helping the little guy. It was about virtue signaling while cronies and fraudsters cashed in, discriminating against qualified non minority businesses and wasting money that could fix roads or cut taxes. And the ugly part is this. Officials getting bribed to steer contracts. In a massive scandal that spanned into Biden's term up to 2022, a USAID bigwig pocketed over a million dollars in cash, NBA tickets, wedding gifts, even jobs for relatives, all to rig $550 million in no bid contracts. One crooked joint venture even snagged an $800 million deal to study to study migration. Trump's SBA headed by Kelly Loeffler has slashed those contracting goals across the federal government and is auditing the program to review every contract over the last 15 years. USAID isn't even allowed as an authority the program anymore. Biden's 8A wasn't empowerment. It was a rig game where race trumped rules, fraudsters raked in the dough, and everyday Americans got stiffed, including those Native Americans who Democrats claim to love and protect. ATI uses the Susanville Indian Rancheria to claim native owned status for their contracts, and tribe members say they're the ones suffering. Here's James o' Keefe on an investigation. Listen.
A
To hear how much money that's coming in is heartbreaking because my grandma has a home on the reservation. There's no insulation in her house. And here you have this millionaire making money off of us, and we're here begging, begging for help. All the things that were created for us, we don't benefit from all this money that you see. We don't benefit a single dime from any of that. Why do we have to suffer? Why do we, our elders, have to, like, not have health care? Why. Why is our people struggling with when we could be, we could be millionaires?
B
You know, my personal opinion is that.
G
They all need to be taken out.
B
Look, this is what happens when the government tries to play favorites, pick winners and losers. Crooks win. Real people like those folks lose, regardless of race, gender or ethnicity. It's criminal. And like I said, it's a pattern. Democrats are totally fine with fraud if it furthers their agenda. Take ActBlue for example, their fundraising platform. It's a perfect example. Congressional investigations have revealed that the fundraising machine has been fudging the rules and turning a blind eye in order to accept millions of in fraudulent donations. Twice during the 2024 election, they quietly loosened their own rules, telling staff, hey, try to find reasons to let the donation go through instead of blocking it. They'd already been skipping the three digit CVV code you find on your credit card. They've been doing that for years. Something every normal website, every normal business requires to stop fraud. And the result? Predictable. Their own internal numbers admit that change alone opened the door to as many as 28 extra fake donations every single month. And it gets worse. Investigators found hundreds of donations coming in from foreign countries, prepaid gift cards, even organized fraud rings, some tied to places like China, Russia and Iran. Bottom line, from the report, ActBlue knew this was happening and basically looked the other way. Federal law is crystal clear. You can go to prison for knowingly accepting money that's funneled through someone else's name. Only Americans, real Americans with real identity, should be deciding American elections. That's a fact. Democrats have been acting as the moral police for the last month, but I don't see them giving that money back, do you? No, of course not. Because say it with me now. Democrats are totally fine with fraud if it furthers their agenda.
Coming up after the break, the Permit act has been introduced within the House of Representatives and is expected to hit the floor Thursday. The bill would narrow which waterways qualify for federal oversight. Congressman Mike Collins of Georgia will join me next to discuss. Don't go anywhere. This is America's Voice Live.

Now. This next conversation means a lot to a lot of people, including myself, by the way. Congress is advancing a new bill known as the Permit Act, a rewrite of how waters of the United States are defined under the Clean Water act, which is expected to hit the floor Thursday. The supporters argue the bill would streamline permitting for infrastructure energy development projects by narrowing which waterways qualify for federal oversight. Under the new definition, certain sites like waste treatment facilities, groundwater, temporary streams created only by rainfall, you know, the mud puddle in your driveway and converted cropland would no longer be federally regulated waterways. They never should have been. Supporters say this will cut red tape, reduce litigation delays, and make it easier to build roads, housing, pipelines, and other needed infrastructure. Joining me now to discuss the Permit act further is the man who introduced the bill, Congressman Mike Collins of Georgia 10. Congressman, thank you for being here.
H
Well, I appreciate you having me on, Steve.
B
Look, I own a small farm. I've got some ponds on it. And when these rules were changed by the Democrats, it went from being navigable water. That was the way it was written, navigable water, rivers, streams, things that, you know, would flow into the next river, into the ocean, into the Great Lakes, whatever. Then they literally reduced it to being swamp land or a place that filled with water only after a heavy rainstorm. It was a ridiculous overreach by the government in my estimation. I'm glad you brought this bill. Tell the folks what it means.
H
Well, you know, and it's not just that, but let's stick with that for just a second. Because when you've got an administration that understands leadership from the top, from President Trump down through Lee Zeldin at the EPA and what they've been able to do to get this federal government off of your back, and you're exactly right, you've got farmers out there that didn't understand whether or not they were going to be charged or sued or fined because the federal government has decided that some mud hole or some dry pond is all of a sudden waters of the US and so to have that, that definition cut and made in stone now is going to put a lot of relief out there. But this bill does a whole lot more than that. It helps out with energy, it helps out with infrastructure, with roads that you were talking about. It's going to in your wastewater treatment facilities out there. All we're doing is making the federal government more efficient and more productive. And in turn, it's going to make life more affordable for the American people.
B
You're doing something kind of rare in Washington. You're applying common sense, Congressman. We don't get a lot of that inside the Beltway, but we did hear, look, we saw people getting fined thousands and thousands of dollars a day because they built a driveway or their watering hole had cattle in it or whatever. I mean, this affects ranches, it affects farms, it affects construction, it affects roads and infrastructure. It affects all these things, doesn't it?
H
Oh, sure it does. And listen, let's just take roads, for instance there that you just mentioned last. The average road project, construction project, from the time that they decide they want the road to the time you put the first car on it is an on average 10 years. And they spend the first seven, seven and a half years out there fighting for permits and fighting for these frivolous lawsuits like what you were talking about with waters of the US and two and a half years on actual construction of the road. That just doesn't make common sense and it certainly doesn't make common sense for the average taxpayer out there. And by us shortening these permit timeframes up, making sure that the federal government does their job, it's going to make things cheaper out there. It's just one of the many pieces of the puzzle that we in Congress that we're putting Together right now. And we're approaching this problem of overreach from very many different sides on this thing, different angles all the time. We one time I'm going to prove.
B
I have a whole bunch of knowledge in my head that I don't know how it got here. But here's the thing. During World War II, we built the Alaskan Highway 1700 miles across the worst territory in the world to connect Alaska to the United States by way of British Columbia. It took 8 months and 12 days. It's 1,700 miles. 8 months, 12 days, 1700 miles. We build a road now, it takes 10 years, 12 years, 15 years. That's absolutely unacceptable because of all the roadblocks, the studies, the evaluations, the impact statements, all of that. We've got to clean this act up, don't we?
H
No, you're exactly right. I'll give you another example as well. I was talking with a power company out of Florida and they were telling me they would love to have more natural gas electric generating facilities out across their state and across the country. But in order for them to do that, it would take them over 10 years just to get the permits to lay the pipeline for the natural gas to flow through. There's no way that we can participate in this economic boom that is about to happen when you have a 10 year window for permits.
The federal government for decades has gotten to the point to where they are just bloated, overreaching, out of control and inefficient. Time is up for that. We're going to, we're going to change the way that the federal government works.
B
Well, the climate zealots have increased the time to build anything through lawfare. They drag everything into court. They challenge it, every court, and then they appeal. When they lose, they appeal again and it becomes months, which become years, which becomes a real problem. Here's my question to you, Congressman. Do you have bipartisan support? I know you're not going to get all the Democrats because some of them say, oh, what about this toad over here? And in Mississippi, we might kill this toad. I mean, honestly, I mean, it sounds ridiculous, because it is. But can you get bipartisan support?
H
I feel very confident that we're going to be able to get bipartisan support on this. This is just a good common sense policy. And for anybody that knows me, I'm very old school. I like to get out there. I like to go visit door to door. I like to see people in person and let them know what my bills are. I push policy over politics. And that's one of the main reasons that we were able to get Lake and Riley through the House, out of the Senate and onto the president's desk was by the fact that I went door to door talking to these Democrats and letting them know what kind of policy I'm pushing.
B
Yeah. Congressman, I wish you well with this one. I think it's incredibly important for small farms, for ranches, for infrastructure, for construction, for, as you put it, for the pending booming economy which is coming. All the signs are there. The lights are all green. We need to be full steam ahead. I'll give you the last word.
H
Amen. I'm excited about it. We see it on the horizon. You see very many. The pieces of this puzzle are being put back together, and we're going to hand this economy and this country back to the American people where it belongs.
B
Congressman Mike Collins of Georgia 10, thank you, sir, for being here.
H
Thank you.
B
All right, Coming up after the break, I'll discuss the massive fraud scandal we see happening in Minnesota that has cost that state's taxpayers billions of dollars, perhaps more. Some experts turning toward Tim Walls for accountability. We'll see what happens there. We'll have details coming up.

Well, skews by. Minnesota Somalis have been making headlines for months, perpetrating massive fraud against the state and federal government there by taking money they did not deserve and were not entitled to. Governor Tim Walls refuses to call out the scammers, even as Investigations involve multiple defendants. 87. Last time I checked, at least 28 fraud scandals have surfaced since Walls was elected governor in 2019, most perpetrated by members of the Somali community. There's a common denominator. More than 50 Somalis have pleaded guilty in the Feeding Our Future $250 million fraud scam. Six Somalis indicted in the Housing Stabilization Services program with 77 providers terminated. And Minnesota's autism Medicaid claims have skyrocketed from $3 million in 2018 to $400 million in 2023. The money from these scams is suspected to have gone overseas, by the way, to support the terrorist group Al Shabaab. Here to discuss CEO for the alliance for IRS Accountability, Chuck Flynn. Chuck, welcome back to the program. This is a jaw dropping amount of money. First they said a few hundred million, then they said a billion, now they said several billion. I've heard estimates in the estimates into the hundreds of billions because nobody actually knows. Chuck, this is obscene. If I'm a Minnesota taxpayer, I'm beside myself today.
E
Absolutely. And Tim Walls in the Minnesota government didn't do anything to find this. This was actually discovered by the IRS Criminal Division over the summer.
B
Yep.
E
The fraud right now I've heard estimates obviously from a billion. Could be up to 8 billion. It could be more than that. There's a lot of investigating that needs to go on. It happened here. 87 folks have been charged of those 78 or Somali.
B
And.
E
And that's a very large population. Minnesota has the largest Somali population in the country, roughly 100,000. And they're also very politically active. But Steve, one other thing I would note is that of that population, approximately 75% are on welfare services. And the three primary ones that were defrauded here were services for the homeless, services that provided housing assistance and also autism related services. So some really bad actors.
B
Yeah, really bad actors. And look, you know what I heard from Ilhan, Omaha? Well, it's white supremacy. I mean, really, that's what she went with. It's white supremacy because it's the Somali community. What'd you say? 78 out of 87 and billions of dollars being shipped out of Minnesota annually to Somalia from the folks that live there. About 80,000, give or take, that have Somali descendancy. This is a big problem. And I think it only gets bigger. In fact, it's so bad there are Democrats now calling on Tim Walls to step aside and not run again for governor. Pretty remarkable, Chuck.
E
Well, Steve, I would drop this into two buckets and it's understandable maybe why some politicians in Minnesota don't want to talk about this. And that's because they have ties to the fraudsters. And in particular, Representative Omar has ties to two people that got $20 million, one of whom was a former campaign staffer of hers who took $3.2 million. He pled guilty in August. And then another one who ran a restaurant that got a $16 million grant. She had her election day victory party there in 2018. Tim Walls has also been connected to some of these individuals. So I would say this. It's either a series of unfortunate coincidences that seem to point to them, or they're perhaps guilty or knowledgeable of some of these activities. The other thing that I would add, Steve, that you brought up, the money has gone overseas. Secretary Bessen has pointed that out. And the way that it was done is through Money Bureau Services. So they were using Western Union. It's not part of the regulated banking system. Very difficult to track.
B
No, they used every tool at their disposal, Chuck. They used every tool at their disposal to take money fraudulently from Minnesota taxpayers and send it overseas. Al Shabaab being the recipient of some of those funds, we're told we're going to stay with it. I got to leave it there for today, Chuck. Appreciate the update. And there'll be more to come, I am sure.
E
Thank you, Steve.
B
There's a lot of politicians that should be getting coal in their stockings for Christmas. But Birchgold thinks as a smart planner, maybe you deserve silver. DHS says ICE has lodged a detainer on an illegal alien charged with attempted murder after a brutal stabbing on the Charlotte light rail train, the same place where Irina Zarudska was murdered. Details coming up.

Well, authorities in Charlotte, North Carolina investigating a deadly stabbing on a light rail train, the same light rail trainer Arena Zarutska was stabbed in the neck and killed. Oscar Gerardo Solarano Garcia, a Honduran national with a lengthy criminal history, has been charged with first degree murder. That's right, an illegal alien. His record includes convictions for robbery and illegal re entry, as well as arrest for aggravated battery, resisting arrest and using a false id. Solarzano Garcia was previously removed from the United States twice, first in 2018 under the Trump administration again in 2021, but returned illegally each time. This case highlights a growing problem with criminal illegal aliens released in communities where sanctuary policies prevent detainers from being enforced. DHS has intensified efforts in North Carolina through Operation Charlotte's Web, aiming to remove dangerous criminal aliens and protect public safety. Charlotte's city council voted to spend $3 million on marketing for the light rail to appear safer, but none was spent on actual safety measures. Join me to discuss this, a congressman from the great state of North Carolina, Mark Harris. Mark, nice to see you again. It looks like they have not cleaned up the crime in Charlotte.
G
Steve, thank you so much for having me today. You're exactly right. They have not cleaned up the situation in Charlotte. This is a serious situation. It was unbelievable. I thought Friday night that here we find ourselves just a few months after all that we went through in. In seeing what happened to Irina Zarutska. And once again, there on the very same line of the light rail in Charlotte, we have an individual who is stabbed. Thankfully, he is still living, or was this morning. And he was a good Samaritan. And God bless him for taking the step that he took. His name's Kenyon Doby. And Kenyon stepped up when he saw this individual that was just going after people, yelling at them, screaming at them, highly intoxicated. And when. When he went over, when Kenyan went over and approached him and told him to leave him alone, he got right up in Kenyan's face. Kenyan pushed him and he fell back. And then he came up and had a knife and just stabbed Kenyon in the chest. And it's been just, again, another situation that is just tragic in the city of Charlotte.
B
How do we allow this to continue? Congressman, look, you've got your Democrat colleagues blocking ICE agents, blocking the removal of illegals in this country. They apparently want the illegals here. They don't care about the parts of Charlotte or anywhere else that have crime issues already, because this just exacerbates it, makes it worse. It's pretty clear from what we've seen here whether it's the murder of Lake and Riley, the murder of Irina Zyrutska, or a host of others, whether in Georgia or North Carolina. This has got to stop. Don't people that live in neighborhoods that are less wealthy deserve the same amount of protection, the ability to walk down their street as any American?
G
Absolutely. And I think that there is an outcry. There seems to be an outcry that's coming as I've watched interviews through the weekend there in Charlotte. And hearing individuals that were maybe one stop away from where this occurred. Again, ridership on the light rail has dropped significantly since Arena. Zarutska. I don't have the exact numbers. That's just what was reported to me, that they dropped significantly. And you're right, that that is a sad state of affairs when just last night, just last night, the city council voted to spend $3 million on an advertising campaign. Not on security, not on bringing more armed policemen to be on board. Not to bring any confidence to the citizens, but $3 million to try to convince citizens that somehow it's safer for them to be able to ride that train. And we've got to get serious about it. As you'll recall, myself and colleagues reached out to the governor asking that we bring in the National Guard just a few weeks ago to Charlotte because we'd seen a spike in crime uptown. And listen, they've ignored it. They've ignored it in the process. And in fact, to Operation Charlotte's Web, you had elected leaders that were somehow dissing on Border Patrol even being there when the facts are what they are. I mean, the Migrant Policy Institute has reported that there are 100,000 illegal aliens living in Charlotte Mecklenburg county alone. So, I mean, we've had a serious situation here. And then when I stop and think of the way Border Patrol was treated with the protest and people blowing whistles and trying to distract them so folks could run away. I had to wonder if this guy was one of the ones that just ran away when Border Patrol were being harassed by protesters. It's ridiculous. It's got to stop. And we need elected leaders and Charlotte that are willing to step up and say something and do something to make it stop.
B
Yeah, you've got some. And I've got to ask you how this affects the political climate of North Carolina. North Carolina becomes less and less of a swing state and more consistently red, it seems, from where I sit and watch. But you've got big races for US Senate seat, big races for the governor's mansion, all the statewide seats, secretary of state, attorney general. How does this impact the race in 2026?
G
Well, my hope is that it's going to impact the race by continuing to show the difference between the Trump administration, who has been about law and order, and a Trump administration that has made a commitment that they were going to shut the border down. And they've done an incredible job of doing that. Step two was they're going to get these criminal illegal aliens out of our cities and get them deported. And that is a process that we are in that step two right now. And I just hope that the citizens in North Carolina can continue to recognize that there is a vast difference in, in the kind of vision that Democrats versus Republicans have for our state and for our nation. And this is an opportunity that for us to get that messaging out, that's going to be the key thing in 2026. We've got to get our message out and let people know that this administration has been about results. And we've got to continue to give the president a majority in the Senate and a majority in the House to work with as we move forward into his last two years.
B
One last question. I've only got about a minute left here, Congressman. What I want to ask you about this, a lot of headlines and back and forth about hitting these drug boats in the open ocean. I found a number of people here in my home state that have lost children to overdoses, to fentanyl, to other illegal street drugs. And yet I hear the Democrats talking about those poor people just trying to make a living running drugs. What I mean, it's absurd, I realize, but what is the attitude of North Carolinians when it comes to these drug boats and to protecting their own communities from this poison? Last word to you.
G
Well, I believe if you ask people in my district that I've heard from, they certainly support taking out these drug boats. And if they have to hit them a second time, hit them a second time. And, and yes, even if you have to hit it a third time, hit it a third time. We made a commitment that we were going to stop allowing these cartels to get this poison into our systems here in the United States. And the Trump administration has done far more than just talk about it. They've actually done something about it. And God bless them for doing it. And I think the citizens of North Carolina stand with them.
B
There you have it. Congressman, thank you for being here. I think most people do. Democrats find themselves in an odd position of defending drug dealers and cartels. Strange place to be, sir, thank you for being here.
G
Thank you for having me.
B
All right. Don't go anywhere. America's Voice LIVE will continue after a short break, where I'll discuss college students and one in particular who got a zero on her paper for mentioning religion. You might have heard about it. And if you haven't, you will. Next.

Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again. Cause more people are listening to the radio on iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio where the reach is real. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844. Iheart one more time. Just call 844-844-Iheart and get radio working for you.
B
This is not surprising. It is shocking. For some reason or another, college kids who so happen to believe in faith are looked at differently compared to their peers, oftentimes by their professors and their teaching assistants. Samantha Fulnecki is a pre med student at the University of Oklahoma, the recent recipient of such treatment as one of her professors gave her a zero on one of her assignments where students were asked to give their opinion on gender ideology. Fulnacki tackled the question based on her Christian convictions and, well, frankly, biology. While one can argue that the subject the student signed up for requires empirical data, Fulnacki notes that the criteria for the paper was always opinion and reaction based, and that students were never required to look for empirical points. What's more is that her teacher noted her writing to be offensive. Making the decision by the professor seems more like an attempt to suppress Fulnacki's beliefs entirely. Joining to discuss is the president of Summit Ministries, Dr. Jeff Myers. Jeff, nice to see you. I do understand that that professor has been put on leave, so there is hope here. But still, you see too many examples of this. And that's why conservative kids in classrooms, Christians or non Christians, don't say anything anymore. They're afraid of getting punished for it. Your thoughts?
D
Two thirds of college students have said that they have faked a belief in what their professor is saying in order to get by in a class. And this is really the perfect storm of a situation. It was a fairly meaning online class that students are somehow required to take. They were reading a mediocre academic article with an unclear assignment asking students to give their feelings about the topic. And then it was graded by a teaching assistant. And if you've ever been in a class with teaching assistants, that's not the same thing as having a professor look at your work. And you know, I think what it's about is not what it's about. I've seen so much commentary online. Well, it was a bad essay. Well, that's a pointless criticism. The reality is every single college student can understand what it's like to be in a class where the teacher has turned it from an academic exercise into some kind of a Maoist struggle session where you're supposed to share your personal feelings and just get fed up with it.
B
Yeah. And get punished for it academically. And that's the problem. We live in America where the First Amendment of the United States Constitution is foundational. It's the envy of the world. Jeff. I say that on this program a fair amount, but it is. People in other countries wish they had the freedom that we have here to speak openly, to practice our religion openly, to give a redress of grievances, to publicly say, here's my opinion. And she got punished for it. Now, thankfully, like I said, that professor has been put on leave. But that doesn't solve the problem. That just solves that one symptom of the problem. Right.
D
Well, right. That teaching assistant will be back in the classroom as soon as the media furor subsides. But you're exactly right. And I think a lot of people think, oh, the University of Oklahoma, it's a red state. Everybody should be fine. Do not ever believe that parents don't think that even if you're going to a Christian college, that your child is not going to run into things like this. If you are given a reaction paper and you're supposed to talk about your. How you feel about a particular essay.
Don'T fall for it. These things have not been cleared by the institutional review board. The professor has no right to understand or evaluate your feelings about something. There is no informed consent in all of this. It is academic abuse. Classes like this and the fact that they're taught at universities and places, you know, where people know better is just astounding to me.
B
Yeah, let's see here. Let me just give you a quick rundown here. Harvard was founded by Puritans, Princeton by Presbyterians. Brown was a Baptist college. I can go right down this list. And it's long of all of these Christian universities that have long since abandoned their principles and their foundational principles to become, well, I'm sorry to say it this way. God only knows what. Jeff, I'll give you the last word.
D
Yeah, well, I think again, what it's about is not what it's about. This is an issue that came to the surface because everybody is frustrated with the fact that academic exercises are now turned into these feeling sessions that students get worked over for holding certain beliefs when they're asked to express those beliefs. And then, you know, I, I just, it, it's just the whole situation makes me wonder whether these classes in the psychology department at the University of Oklahoma are even worth taking.
B
Yeah, it's a good question. Or if some of those teaching assistants or professors should, you know, maybe see some of the kids that graduated in psychology and psychiatry. Just throwing that out there. Jeff, always good to see you. Thank you, my friend.
D
Great to see you, Steve.
B

What makes America wonderful. We do it every day with the hope of putting a smile on your face. I spoke with David Zier and Benny Ray, Harmony Rav's team here today. Given the opportunity to Participate in the Department of the Navy's Rapid Capability Office Industry Day. Here's what they had to say. And today's story comes to us from Washington D.C. where two of RAV's own have gotten the rare opportunity to participate in the Department of the Navy's Rapid Capability Office Industry Day. Big mouthful, right? The event sees Navy officials introduce the Rapid Capabilities Office to the private sector to discuss persistent challenges and hurdles with the hope of finding collaboration and investment to address issues head on. As I mentioned, two of rav's own are slated to attend the event. None other than real America's Voice correspondent David Zier and Benny Ray Harmony. They both join me. David, let's start with you. What is this event all about?
I
Well, we're here for the new Naval Rapid Capabilities Office, which is brand new under civilian Secretary of the Navy John Phelan. And basically we're at the Washington Navy Yard here. Very historic site. They defended this place, Washington D.C. during the War of 1812, right here on the Anacostia River. But we're gathered here with great private industry people along with the Secretary of the Navy and we also have Admiral Seiko Okano, who's the director of the new Naval Rapid Capabilities Office. And their goal is to cooperate with private industry and sometimes 5050 partnerships to develop new weapons and defense systems and get from instead of PowerPoint to prototype, getting prototypes out, getting production out. And this meshes with President Trump's executive order that may be codified with the National Defense Defense Authorization act that may be passed tomorrow in Congress to basically get stuff in action sooner rather than later. Cutting out red tape. Really great day here for the Navy and they seem to be in concert. Right?
B
So, yeah.
C
And Steve, we were just out in California with Secretary of War Hegseth and this, this meeting stuff that is happening today with these, these private industry leaders. It's very similar to what we did out in California with defense manufacturers as well as defense product creators. And how all of these different departments and how President Trump is working together with his executive orders and with his defense partners to do this throughout every different category. Navy, Marines, all of them.
B
Well, that's pretty exciting stuff, Benny. You're getting all the good assignments. Flying to California with Pete Hegseth and getting to participate. How was that, by the way?
C
Oh, Steve, it was amazing. It was. I honestly, I'm not sure how President Trump does it because I know that was nothing compared to how quickly those people moved. But it was truly exceptional. I mean, we got to see some awesome drones at Andrew. And we actually got to see some of these cameras that they put down on the border that Andrew provides to the Department of War. And I mean, just seeing the behind the scenes and being with Secretary Hegseth, it really gives you a different perspective as to some of our leaders and how they're just normal people, too. So very, very grateful.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
There you have. Benny and David, greatly appreciate you being here. We'll look for a full report coming up in the next couple days. Guys, thank you very much. Greatly appreciate. That's what makes America wonderful. Great correspondence for Rav and great opportunity to see the latest in technology.
Man, they get all the great assignments, don't they? Those two are flying all over the country all the time, doing great stuff for Real America's Voice. Now, I have a special question for you today because I'm curious about these boat strikes. Right. And what you think about them. I want you to send me an email to stevegruber.com I especially want to hear from people that have lost somebody or know somebody who's lost somebody because of the poison on America's streets coming through, whether it comes through the southern border or comes by way of boat. I want to know real stories of loss because we want to talk about it here. The Democrats are spending all of their time talking about these poor people driving the boats. I want to talk about Americans. I want to talk about people who have paid the ultimate price and had to bury a friend, a sister, a brother, a mother, a father, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew. I want to Hear your stories. SteveGruber.com please send me your stories so we can talk about them here on Real America's Voice. Remember to follow me on social media. And if you want to know anything else about what we're doing, stevegruber.com I appreciate it. Eric Bolling on his way next. Don't forget to join me first thing in the morning to start your Real America's Voice broadcast day. This is Jim.

This is an iHeart podcast, Guaranteed Human.
On this episode, Steve Gruber delves into the state of American politics, government fraud, border security, and cultural issues. The show features pointed criticism of Democratic leadership, deep dives into high-profile fraud scandals (especially in Minnesota), border crime and sanctuary policies, regulatory reform with the PERMIT Act, and cultural battles on college campuses. Interviews with Congressman Mike Collins (GA) and Congressman Mark Harris (NC) provide a legislative and local perspective, while guests Chuck Flynn and Dr. Jeff Myers discuss government accountability and academic freedom. The tone is urgent, direct, patriotic, and unapologetically skeptical of Democratic governance.
