America's Voice Live starts now.
Steve Gruber
Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Guru. It is Monday 16th February. It's the year of our Lord 2026. Let's get to today's top stories. As always, thank you for being here. We appreciate your support. Thank you. The exiled Iranian crown prince has made a fresh appeal to President Trump, urging a strong US Response against the brutal Ayatollah regime and stop its bloody crackdown on protesters demanding freedom. More on that coming up. Also, another partial US Government shutdown stretched into the week after Congress failed to agree on funding the Department of Homeland Security. For lawmakers left Washington for recess for the next week and a half. Thanks, everybody. More on that coming up. And Then later, I'll bring on David Zier to discuss the first ever airlift of a nuclear reactor. It's really quite something, pointing to a shift in energy deployment for this country. It's a big deal. All that and more coming your way. But first, I want to start with this. There's a moment in history when a civilization either remembers who it is or slowly apologizes itself into irrelevance. And if you're paying attention right now, you can feel that moment building. It's the American people are tired of being told to shrink, to doubt themselves, to act like the greatest force for freedom and good in the world that it's ever known, as somehow something to be ashamed of. That mood is changing. You can feel it in the culture, in the politics, and in the way leaders are starting to talk about America and the west again. I saw it most on display just recently over the weekend, when our Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, delivered one of the very best speeches on preserving Western civilization I've heard in a very, very long time. He encouraged Europe to stand up for the ideals that made it great, hearkening back to the resurrection of Western civilization at the end of World War II. Listen to this.
Marco Rubio
But together, our predecessors recognized that decline was a choice, and it was a choice they refused to make. This is what we did together once before, and this is what President Trump and the United States want to do again, now, together with you. And this is why we do not want our allies to be weak, because that makes us weaker. We want allies who can defend themselves so that no adversary will ever be tempted to test our collective strength. This is why we do not want our allies to be shackled by guilt and shame. We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage, who understand that we are heirs to the same great and noble civilization, and who, together with us, are willing and able to defend it.
Steve Gruber
The Trump administration has taken a bold stance the last year to repeatedly encourage our allies to take responsibility for their own defense, whether from international enemies or from the staggering influx of immigrants who hate the ideals of the countries they're being invited to live in. Marco Rubio says it's time to stop being fearful, man up, stand for what's right, even when it's not popular, because that's how we secure a future for our children.
Marco Rubio
Here's more, for we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West's managed decline. We do not seek to separate, but to revitalize an old friendship and renew the greatest civilization in human history. What we want is a reinvigorated alliance that recognizes that what has ailed our societies is not just a set of bad policies, but a malaise of hopelessness and complacency. The alliance that we want is one that is not paralyzed into inaction by fear, fear of climate change, fear of war, fear of technology. Instead, we. We want an alliance that boldly races into the future, and the only fear we have is the fear of the shame of not leaving our nations prouder, stronger and wealthier for our children.
Steve Gruber
It sounds right, doesn't it? He went on to describe the kind of alliance that we want with our European partners. And it's on the money. We've rightly been criticizing NATO over the last decade, but if our alliances could look more like what Rubio describes, that'd be good not only for America, but for the entire world. Here's one more thing. Listen.
Marco Rubio
An alliance ready to defend our people, to safeguard our interests, and to preserve the freedom of action that allows us to shape our own destiny. Not one that exists to operate a global welfare state and atone for the purported sins of past generations. An alliance that does not allow its power to be outsourced, constrained or subordinated to systems beyond its control. One that does not depend on others for the critical necessities of its national life, and one that does not maintain the polite pretense that our way of life is just one among many and that asks for permission before it acts. And above all, an alliance based on the recognition that we, the west, have inherited together. What we have inherited together is something that is unique, distinctive and irreplaceable. Because this, after all, is the very foundation of the transatlantic bond.
Steve Gruber
It certainly is. It's about damn time somebody said it. And when you see American leaders standing on the world stage talking about defending Western civilization, talking about strength, talking about confidence, signals something bigger than policy. It signals a shift in mindset. For years, we were told America needed to step back, that leadership meant apologizing first and acting second. Now you're seeing a return to the idea that peace and stability actually come from strength, from clarity, from knowing who you are and not being afraid to say it out loud. And when you zoom out and look at the world right now, you can see why this shift matters. Look at Cuba. I'm going to say something that people will call bold, maybe even crazy, but I'm going to say it anyway. Cuba's gonna fall. In the next few weeks, it's gonna fall. That's my prediction. Why? Because Regimes don't collapse when they run out of slogans. They collapse when they run out of fuel, when the lights stop working, when planes can't fly, when daily life becomes impossible. Cuba's out of oil. They have virtually no fuel for aircraft. Electricity in many areas limited to just a couple of hours a day. That is not a stable system. That is a regime hanging on by a thread. History shows us this pattern over and over. Authoritarian governments can look permanent right up until they aren't. The Soviet Union looks permanent. Eastern Bloc regimes look permanent, and then suddenly they weren't. Systems built on control and scarcity always hit the same wall. It's called reality. When that wall hits, collapse can come fast. Big things are coming. That brings us to what really matters politically going forward into the midterms. The five factors that could shape everything. Number one, the economy. Not the abstract economy that economists debate on tv. The real economy, the paycheck economy, the mailbox economy. The economy is going to heat up. And when tax returns start landing in mailboxes, boom. That's when voters feel it personally, like this woman. Here she is. Trump's big, beautiful bill promised no taxes on overtime. My husband works six days a week as a machinist at Anheuser Busch so that I can stay home and raise our three kids that are all under five. Big, beautiful bill just made it so that he did not have to pay taxes on any of that overtime. Our refund is huge this year. Thank you, President Trump. You came through. We just got a fat, fat check coming our way. You see, people don't vote based on policy white papers. They vote based on whether they can pay their bills, buy groceries, fill up the gas tank, and maybe even save a few bucks for the future. When people feel financial momentum, political momentum is soon to follow. Number two, the SAVE Act, I believe it gets across the finish line one way or another. We've got 50 some Republican senators voicing their support now. And I think, I think we could see a reasonable Democrat or do join the ranks, say, like Senator John Fetterman. Reasonable, yes. It's not like a radical idea. It's not something. And there already are many states that.
David Zier
Show basic, basic id. So that's where we are in the Senate. So I do not, I would never refer to the SAVE act as like Jim Crow 2.0 or some kinds of.
Steve Gruber
Mass, Kinds of conspiracy, but mass kinds of conspiracy. He's talking about the Democrats there. Of course, it's not Jim Crow 2.0. And good for John Fetterman for breaking with his party and stating the obvious. Like I said, I think this bill is getting passed. And the reason is simple, overwhelming public support. Americans want election systems they trust. They want clarity, transparency and verification that isn't radical. That's basic democracy. When people believe elections are secure, they participate. More confidence is the foundation of any system that depends on public consent. And number three, the Supreme Court decision on the racial gerrymandering, that case out of Louisiana. I'm going to make a prediction here, a 6:3 ruling coming from the Supreme Court in June. If that happens, by the way, it freezes redistricting efforts in places like California and Virginia, where race has been explicitly used as a primary factor in drawing new maps that would force those states to use existing maps rather than redesigning districts in ways that would dramatically shift power to the Democrats. Meanwhile, Texas stands with its maps because it didn't structure its maps that way. And if Louisiana ends up restructured under stricter constitutional standards, you could see three more additional seats emerge alongside gains expected out of Texas for a total, maybe eight new seats for the Republicans. Congressional math can shift fast when court rulings land properly. Number four, another lawsuit, this one out of Mississippi, targeting election counting beyond election Day. This is massive and doesn't get nearly enough attention. Right now it looks like a 54 decision. If it goes that way, it could dramatically limit prolonged vote counting periods. Many Americans believe elections should produce fast, decisive results, not weeks of uncertainty. Look to Florida as an example. And number five, peace in Ukraine. Tomorrow, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will participate in trilateral talks with representatives from Russia and Ukraine in the afternoon. I think a peace deal is not that far away. Russia is reportedly suffering some staggering losses. That's what chief the NATO chief Mark Rutte said at the Munich Security Conference over the weekend. Here's what he said, but also an understanding on Ukraine that the Russians are reaping up staggering losses day in, day out. 35,000 debt in December, 30,000 debt in January. So where they want to perceive the Russians as a mighty bear, you could argue that they are moving through Ukraine at a stilted speed of a garden snail. And let's not forget that. Let's not fall in the trap of the Russian propaganda. Yeah, nothing stabilizes global politics like the end of a major war. Energy prices stabilize, shipping stabilizes, markets calm down and American voters exhale. When voters feel stability, they reward leadership they associate with strength and resolution. Put all five of these together. Economic acceleration, election integrity, legislation, constitutional clarity on redistricting, faster election results and timelines and moving toward global peace, looking at a political environment that heavily favors strength, messaging and stability, focused leadership. But underneath all of this is something deeper than elections. This is about identity. This is about whether America remembers who she is. Are we still the country that rebuilt the world after World War II? Are we still the country that led the technological revolution? Are we still the country that defeated fascism, pushed back communism, and led the free world through the most dangerous decades in modern history? Or are we going to be a country that second guesses its own success? Because here's the reality. Freedom has never spread by accident. It spreads when strong nations believe in themselves enough to defend it culturally, economically and militarily when necessary. And right now, it feels like something's shifting back toward confidence, back toward clarity, back toward the idea that America doesn't have to shrink to make the world better. And historically, when America is confident and strong, when America believes in itself, the world tends to become more stable, not less. That's the moment we're walking into right now. Don't fall for the lies. Stand up for truth. And if that's true, the next few years aren't going to just be politically important. They're going to be historically important too. For you, for me. For our kids and our grandkids as well. And that's the monologue coming up after the break. Tensions with Iran continue to escalate as the exiled crown prince made a new appeal to President Trump calling for intervention as brutality continues against Iranian citizens. More details straight ahead.

Well, exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has made a fresh appeal to President Trump, urging a strong US Response to crush the brutal Ayatollah regime and stop its bloody crackdown on citizens were demanding freedom in that country. Pahlavi laid out specific steps the US could take, from weakening the Revolutionary Guard Corps to supporting Iranian voices for democracy, calling Trump's leadership the key, the key to ending the massacre and restoring human rights in that country. As nuclear talks loom, Tehran insists the ball is in America's court to prove it wants a deal, even as President Trump keeps pressure on both diplomatically and with US Military strength in the region by sending a US Aircraft carrier group to the Middle East. Joining to discuss this, former congressman and executive director of the American Constitutional Rights Union, Lieutenant Colonel Allen West. Colonel, nice to see you today.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
It's always a pleasure to be with you, Steve. Thank you.
Steve Gruber
All right, so we're seeing a lot of things happening on the world stage. And I want to do this in order here. First, Venezuela six weeks later in a much different place than it was when Maduro was there. Right. Number two, Cuba is on the brink of falling. Could happen anytime in the next few weeks. They have no fuel, electricity's a couple hours a day. There's no food, there's no morale. There's no hope there. And then Iran, if you had told me 18 months ago that Donald Trump would free Venezuela from the dictator, that Cuba would fall and Iran would come to the table, you'd have told me I was crazy.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
Yeah. And think about this. I mean, you're really talking about something that has happened pretty much on the first year of this second Trump term. You couldn't have expected that to happen in what, a millennia of Barack Obama or Joe Biden. And again, we are peeling the onion back because one of the most important things is that energy security. And I think that's what you see happening with Venezuela. And now we see more American oil, gas investment going back into Venezuela. We see that oil that is coming to American refineries. We see that they will get the economic benefits thereof. And, and also we see another one of the godfathers or the keepers of Cuba being taken away from that. And a message has been sent to Mexico as well. So we are reestablishing ourselves here in this hemisphere. And now we're looking at how we can, you know, take down this new 21st century axis of evil, which Venezuela Was part of. Along with Russia, China, and Iran.
Steve Gruber
Absolutely true. And it weakens China, Russia, Iran. Look, Darcy Rodriguez, the acting president of Venezuela. I'm going to make an educated guess here. She's playing ball with the Trump administration. That's why she's still there six weeks later. She is playing ball. And you look around the globe and you see all these tankers being confiscated, and you have to wonder, gee, did she give them the coordinates? Did she say, find this ship, this ship and this ship? Because, look, it's become too easy. And because of that, Cuba has no oil. Because of that, Iran is against the wall. Look, the effort to get Maduro out of Venezuela was brilliant tactically, politically, economically. And it's just the first domino to fall. And it is remarkable, as you point out, it's just the first year of the second term of Donald Trump.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
No, I mean, it's, you know, people get hung up on, you know, so many other Mickey Mouse silly things, you know, memes on. On social media. But let's look at the big picture, and let's look at the speech that Marco Rubio, our Secretary of State, gave at the Munich Security Conference. It's clearly sending a message to. To Europe and to the European Union, and again, we are asserting ourselves as a. A superpower, and that's what you have to have. And, you know, when you look at Iran and what is happening there, we have to continue to put the pressure on those mullahs and ayatollahs who have been a thorn in our sides, what, since 1979. Because I think that, again, this is another domino that can topple. And slowly but surely, you're getting to the bigger dominoes, which is Russia and then eventually China, because Russia cannot continue to prosecute their operations in Ukraine if they don't have the Iranian drones. China is going to be hurting if they don't have the oil that is coming out of Iran.
Steve Gruber
That's right. Yeah. All true. I'm glad you brought up the Munich Security Conference. Marco Rubio, dare I say, sounded presidential, all right, and the Democrats have got to look at that hopeful, powerful speech that he gave about Western civilization and who we are. Remarkable speech. Best I've heard in quite some time, by the way. But on the other side of the coin, the leading contender for the Democrat nominee for president, at least in my opinion it is. And I believe this is aoc. She's gonna get a boatload of money. She is gonna get a pile of money, and she could very well be the nominee for the Democrats. She was asked an important question about Taiwan, speaking of international relations and so forth, clearly not quite prepared. Listen to this. Would and should the US Actually commit US Troops to defend Taiwan if China were to move? You know, I think that this is such a, you know, I think that this is a, this is, of course, a very long standing policy of the United States. And I think what we are hoping for is that we want to make sure that we never get to that point and we want to make sure that we are moving in all of our economic research and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise. Colonel, quite clearly, this is pegball for you. Let's see. Marco Rubio, AOC And I do believe she's gonna get a boatload of money. She's certainly gonna run for president. She'll get piles of money from the fringe left. This is embarrassing, what she did. Last word to you.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
It's beyond embarrassing. What AOC actually did was make Kamala Harris look like Socrates. And when you think about here, you're there and you're going to the Munich Security conference and you're not prepared to answer any foreign policy, any global security questions. Maybe the person should have said, should we tax the rich? And I'm sure she would have been able to go on and wax ad infinitum. So they don't have anyone. Gretchen Whitmer, your governor up there in Michigan, she also embarrassed herself just the same as Gavin Newsom.
Steve Gruber
She sure did. It was shameful. These Democrats go over there to show their prowess on the world stage and boy, it came up snake eyes for them. Colonel, always a pleasure, my friend. Thank you.
Lieutenant Colonel Allen West
And congratulations to the number one team in college basketball, men's college basketball, the University of Michigan.
Steve Gruber
There you go. You see a man with some class. Colonel, I appreciate it. Thank you very much. All right, well, it's just about time for a break. But before that, we'd like to let you know that Real America's Voice has a new edition on the inside with James o'. Keefe. Air every Saturday at noon Eastern. Show. Take the deep dive into the stories that the mainstream media simply will not touch. To uncover hidden truth through investigation and conversation. Be sure to tune in this Saturday at Noon to view RAV's newest edition. America's Voice Live will continue after a brief commercial break. Break. You know, Allen west just mentioned this. Governor Gretchen Whitmer embarrassing herself at the Munich Security Conference. Well, that's not the only time recently. She'll soon be announcing her run for president. Make no mistake. Right after the midterms. And she's out there arguing against the SAVE act to protect our elections. I can tell you, when the truth comes out very soon about Chinese involvement in fraudulent mail in ballots, she's going to look pretty foolish. That is, unless she can keep what happened in Michigan a secret even longer. By the way, here she is. Yesterday, President Trump suggested unconstitutionally federalizing Michigan's elections. He talked about sending federal agents in to take control away from local clerks. Let me be very clear. Elections will continue to be run at the state level in Michigan. Any attempt by the federal government to take over Michigan elections should be seen for what it is, an attempt to take away your constitutional right to vote. Now, it's not going to happen on my watch. Our nation has a long, proud history of running decentralized federal elections. It's a system that was designed by our founding fathers to protect us against those who would try to take and hold power illegitimately or by force. Yeah, funny, because Michigan has voter id. It's part of what we do. Anyhow, good luck with your run for president. A Czech politician, meanwhile, took a wrecking ball to Hillary Clinton's comments at the Munich Security Conference on Western Civilization over the weekend. The former Secretary of State kept interrupting him until she was told to let him talk. Listen to this about Trump. Well, first, I think you really don't like him. You know, that is absolutely true, but I really. Not only do I not like him, I don't like him because of what he's doing to the United States and the world. And I think you should take a hard look at it if you think that there is something good that will come out of it. Peter, what I think, what I think Trump is doing in America, I think it is reaction, reaction, reaction for something that, for some policies that really went too far, too far from the regular people, too far from reality. So, you know, we saw the cancel culture, we saw the woke revolution. I don't agree with the gender revolution. The climate alarmism, gender, women having their rights. No, Peter, go on. I think there are two genders. So. But. But some of us can be. Some of us think that there is more than one or more than two. Sorry, more than two. Gender. I think there is male and female, and the rest probably is a social construct. So this is something that went too far. But does that justify selling out the people of Ukraine who are on the front lines dying to save their freedom and their two genders? If that's what you're worried about. Can I please Finish my points. I'm, I'm sorry that it makes you, makes you nervous. I'm really sorry for that. Make me nervous. It makes me. What an embarrassing beat down from a Czech politician. Nice job, Hillary. You look like a complete idiot, but we're kind of used to it. By the way, speaking of that, Democrats are finally admitting Biden's border failure. Even that same Hillary Clinton openly admits that open borders destabilize the world. Here she is again. I think we need to call it for what it is. There is a legitimate reason to have a debate about things like migration. It went too far. It's been disruptive and destabilizing and it needs to be fixed in a humane way with security, cure borders that don't torture and kill people. Here's a nice factoid for you on President's Day, by the way, as an aside to that the Democrats posted about President's Day on social media today, but they left one president out, her husband, Bill Clinton, somehow ignored by the Democrats. Now why do you think that is? Maybe it's 1200 mentions in the Epstein files. I don't know. Maybe you let me know before we move on if you're 64 or older. This is important. Every year too many seniors realize their Medicare plan doesn't cover the doctors they trust. Suddenly you're stuck finding new doctors or overpaying. That's Medicare. You can spend hours researching, doing everything right and still end up on a plan that costs you thousands of dollars. That's why I partnered with chapter. CHAPTER is the only national advisor that compares every Medicare plan. On average, they save people over $1,100 a year. One caller, Jill, said her Chapter advisor showed her options she didn't even see on Medicare's own website. That's how broken this system is. CHAPTER is a free resource for this audience and you can review all your options in just about 20 minutes. If you're on Medicare or will be soon, call my friends at 814. Chapter. It's help you can trust. Coming up after the break. We are in yet another partial government shutdown, as you know, all thanks to the Democrats efforts to defund the Department of Homeland Security. This, of course, nothing new. Democrats have played this game for years. I'll talk about it coming up next. Well, another partial United States government shutdown is at hand. It stretched into this week after Congress failed to agree on funding the Department of Homeland Security. That before lawmakers left Washington for a 10 day recess. Nice. Do you wish you could do that? At the heart of the impasse are demands from Senate Democrats led by Chuck Schumer for sweeping reforms targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including judicial warrants and limits on agents. Use of face coverings in response to recent fatal shootings in Minneapolis involving federal agents. Meanwhile, core border security and agency operations continue under existing funds, and negotiations remain stalled as both sides dig in, keeping the shutdown unresolved. For now. Join me to discuss. This is constitutional lawyer and a candidate for the U.S. senate seat for the great state of North Carolina, Don Brown. Don, nice to see you. ICE is funded through 2029. $75 billion. So all of this is noise and nonsense. Maybe they know something about the three and a half million Epstein filed documents that got dumped and they don't want to talk about it. I don't know what it is, Dom, but there's. There's defunding of the TSA agents again. These guys must really be fed up with this. Fema, the Coast Guard. And you just have to ask yourself, what is this political stunt all about?
Don Brown
Well, the political stunt is to reinforce what the Democrats goal has been on all along. That basically is to bring illegals in the United States and get them into the voter roll so that they can vote without having proved proof of citizenship. You know, the ICE incidents, the two in. In Minneapolis that were widely publicized, although we regret the loss of life, were instigated by agitators. Both of those folks that got shot, that lady punched the accelerator on the van with an ICE agent standing in front of her. And the other guy that Pocahontas was saying, the poor nursing was such a. Such a trusting, sweet soul. And we see video of him kicking out the back of a vehicle. So we know that those were agitated. And so what we're seeing now by the stunts pulled by the Democrats in the Senate is just consistent with their desire to defund. You know, they. They're the masters of the defund movement. First defund the police to destabilize, now defund ice. They're seeking to destabilize as part of the entire grand strategy that they've been engaged in all along. And I think the American people are starting to see through it now.
Steve Gruber
I put together the top of this program, Don. I want to see how you feel about this. Five points to win the election and win the midterms. Number one is the economy, all right? Number two is the SAVE act, which is really important, and I do believe they'll get it across the finish line. Number three, three and four, two important Supreme Court decisions. One out of Louisiana on using race to determine congressional districts. If that passes 6, 3, which I believe it will, it will also freeze California and Virginia. They won't be able to redistrict because they specifically talked about Hispanic districts. Number four, the lawsuit out of Mississippi that says you can't continue counting ballots for weeks on end. You have to have ballots written by election Day. And then number five, a bit of a wild card, but peace in Ukraine, I think, number one, the economy. Number two, the SAVE Act. You come through with just those two items, you're in real good shape for the midterms. Look, it's February. I've got. I hear these people all were worried about losing the midterms. It's February, Don. Why are they worried now?
Don Brown
It's too early. You're right on, Mark. The economy is always front and center. And to say that people want election integrity, sort of a. Besides, funny story, the guy that I'm going to be facing in November, the former governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, who will be my Democrat opponent, was caught coming out of the election booth the other day. They snapped a picture of him showing his id, and his team put it up on social media. And the Democrats got so upset that they had to take that picture down. I thought was kind of hilarious. And when I, we voted, of course, I held my, my North Carolina voter's license, driver's license up front and center. But it's not just about having an id. The SAVE act also is guaranteeing that when you present an id, there's sufficient evidence that you are a United States citizen. And I can tell you, 77% of Americans believe that only United States citizens should vote in elections. And so the entire country favors the SAVE act, even if Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats are looking for every excuse they can to fight it. And I'm hoping that John Thune is going to push the issue, even if it means doing some modifications to the filibuster rule to get us back to some sort of modified speaking filibuster. We need to. We need to push this thing forward and make people put their cards on the table so the American people can see where they stand.
Steve Gruber
Absolutely true. Look, the filibuster is not constitutional. It was created in the early 1970s, but it was not designed so that the minority party could hold the country hostage, which is exactly what's happening right now. It's not the way it's supposed to work, Don. Not at all, is it? That's right.
Don Brown
It is not a constitutional provision. It is a Local Senate Rule Rule 22 of the US Senate Constitution gives the houses of Congress the right to set their rules. But what's happening has been abused. And we've gone from what used to be what we called a speaking filigo buster back in the day, Jesse Helms and others would stand up and speak and hold the Senate back to basically a silent filibuster. It's gotten too easy. So the Democrats can simply signal their intent to filibuster so that you don't get to the 60 votes and that's it, and might leave saying, hey, at least move it back to a speaking filibuster. I will be in favor of that. And the filibuster, by the way, has been eliminated on some things, such as judicial appointments. So it isn't mandatory for every issue. But when it comes to something as important as proving United States citizenship in a federal election or even state elections, that is something that is more important than the preservation of the filibuster, Steve. And I'm hoping John Thune will come to the realization on that. We got to get this thing passed sooner rather than later.
Steve Gruber
I agree with that. So do 83% of American voters, 71% of Democrats, 95% of Republicans, 75% of Hispanic voters, higher numbers for black voters. Look, the idea that women who get married can't figure out how to vote after that, or the people of color can't figure out how to vote, I mean, really, this is what you're going with 83% support. They are on the very wrong side of this. To call it misogynist or racist or anything else is just silly. Last word to you.
Don Brown
Well, here's the thing. As you pointed out, the overwhelming majority of the American public wants proof of citizenship as prerequisite. Devoted. The small minority of Democrats holding this hostage in the United States Congress, they don't want it. Why? Because they want to continue to cheat. And if you can't prove proof of citizenship, they can bring any tongues they can hear from across the border and figure out a way to get them an ID and allow them to vote. And that is a direct threat to our constitutional republic. And it's going to backfire on, like you said up front, the economy and the SAVE act going to be issues one and two going into the midterms. And the Democrats do not want to be on the wrong side of the SAVE Act. And right now they are absolutely true.
Steve Gruber
And like I said, that Supreme Court decision that would freeze California's districts the way they are and Virginia too. And suddenly they're like, wait a second, Texas didn't do that, they get to keep their five. Louisiana didn't do that, they get to keep their three. So that's plus eight. So that's a pretty good place to start. And if Florida plays ball, which it looks like they're going to in April, they could add two or three more seats as well. Don Brown, always a pleasure. Real quickly, your website, thank you.
Don Brown
Welcome everybody. To go to our website, that is brown4nc.com Brown the word f o r n c.com come on board. We've got just a couple of weeks here before the primary. We need all the help we can get. We'll put you to work. We're going to go and take the torch of freedom back to the, to the floor of the United States Senate and the mole of Jesse Helms, the great US Senator from North Carolina. I'll be seeking his seat. We're going to win this election.
Steve Gruber
There you have it. Don Brown, always a pleasure. Thank you, my friend. Now coming up after the break, I'll bring on David Zier to discuss the first ever airlift of a nuclear reactor pointing to a shift in energy deployment for this country. It's really kind of a big deal. We'll talk about it next. Well, Sunday marked a historic moment for American energy and Defense Department of War Under Secretary Michael Duffy and Energy Secretary Chris Wright oversaw the historic transport of the first high temperature gas cooled reactor. It was airlifted by A C17 military aircraft to Utah. Described as the only airlift of a nuclear reactor in history, the next generation modular reactor is designed to power AI data centers, factories, military bases, all independent of the existing grid with a potential deployment in as little as 18 months. Join me with this and details. RAV Correspondent and host of Breaking Point, David Zier. David, I saw this story over the weekend. I thought man, that's really remarkable. They loaded it up. You had a picture there in the back of the C17. I mean this is the ability to power America and not interfere with the existing grid, which is in some ways old and needs to be improved. So this is really remarkable technology. Tell us about this whole transfer.
David Zier
Yes, that's the story, Steve. And we traveled over 6,000 miles yesterday along with my cameraman Will Lawrence, very talented camera operator. We started at Andrews Air force base at 6:30, landed in March Air Force Base in California and then picked up this nuclear reactor. You know, you don't have to check them in these days. It's like a carry on right on the plane. The C17. Incredible payloads. Right. And we got on board with Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and Deputy Department of War Undersecretary Mike Duffy, and we flew to Hill Air Force Base in Utah where that was unloaded. And while we did interviews with them, we'll be airing those throughout the week. We watch them begin to get this thing over to San Rafael testing labs in Utah as well. And it's part of Trump's executive orders, four of them, to increase nuclear production here for strategic energy dominance and for our national security. Because, Steve, you're right. These things can operate independently. Now, this is a 5 megawatt reactor. We haven't developed nuclear reactors for decades. And this is able to be like a self, a an individual unit that can be linked with other 5 megawatt reactors. And we could power like, say, Fort Bragg with it, not be dependent on the grid. We could do them in Europe and Asia, in Africa, maybe a base on the moon at some point. They're really amazing. And it's part of Trump's 250th anniversary. He wanted this done. So they called it was with Valor Atomics. This incredible young guy has run this company. They, they're going to test this thing in time for the 250th anniversary of America and maybe have them operating within 1824 months. But we're going to scale these things by the thousands no other country can come close to. Was just an incredible day to watch it in action. And I've been following the Department of War's CAP Rapid capabilities, the army, the Air Force Space Command. I was with Pete Hegseth and Quonset Point Submarine building and our ironworks in Bath, Maine, kicking out guided missile destroyers. They'll be making the Trump battleships with direct energy weapons. This is all part of that. There's a march in unison towards American security, national security here. And until now, we've been constrained by the grid. We can't accommodate all these AI centers. We can't do increased manufacturing on the scales that we need. In New York, we closed our nuclear power plants down. We may need to rely on this for America's future.
Steve Gruber
Absolutely. Now, David, it just. I'm going to take you back in time. I'm going to take you back to the Future. Remember the Mr. Fusion machine on the back of the DeLorean where they're putting in, you know, banana peels and so forth? How long until we have little tiny nuclear reactors just around our house, you know, about the size of a toaster? I mean, we're not that far away. Truly we're not that far away. Last word to you know, and this.
David Zier
Is part of that smr, small modular reactors. You know, there's one in abilene, Texas, that's 1 megawatt. A typical energy plant for nuclear is 300 to 900 megawatts if not in the gigawatts. These are 1 to 30 megawatt devices as a 30 megawatt one in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. But Valor Atomics is leading the pack with these self contained units, low enriched uranium so terrorists can't get their hands on them, they can't be weaponized. They're helium cooled, gas cooled as opposed to liquid cooled. It's really an exceptional moment in American history and this wouldn't happen without Donald Trump.
Steve Gruber
I agree. David, I look forward to your interviews for the rest of the week from your trip, flying all over the country, frequent flyer miles on the C17. I hope you get good service with that. David, appreciate you being here.
David Zier
That was excellent. Thanks, Steve.
Steve Gruber

After the break, we'll have a story that reminds us of just how wonderful America is. Plus your answers to the America's Voice question of the day. In honor of President's Day, who is your favorite US President and more importantly, why? We'll be right Back. All right. What makes America wonderful, We do it every day in the hope we'll take a smile on your face before you go on your way. Today's story comes to us from New York City where a teenager is being hailed as a hero after jumping into action to save a young child who fell through the thin ice of a pond. According to reports, the teen was nearby when he noticed the child struggling in the frigid water. Without hesitation, he ran toward danger. He later said, I just instantly ran to help him. Freezing temperatures and thin ice creating a life threatening situation. Every second mattered. The teen carefully moved across the ice and manager reached the child, pulling him out of the icy pond and getting him to safety. Thanks to his quick thinking bravery. Child survival could have been a tragic, fatal accident. In a moment where fear could have taken over, courage stepped in. Instead, one young man saw someone in need and acted. It is a powerful reminder that everyday heroes walk among us. And sometimes they're just teenagers who refuse to stand by when someone needs help. That's what makes America wonderful today. Courage to do the right thing. All right, question of the day. On this President's day, even though the Democrats forgot Bill Clinton, I didn't think he'd end up in the answers here, guessing I'm right. Who is your favorite president and why? Lisa Cardinal writes President Donald J. Trump because he has balls. All right, Lisa. Amy Beth writes absolutely Donald J. Trump. He is exposing the waste, fraud and abuse prevalent in our beloved country. Securing borders, eliminating illegals. Second is Reagan, but when I was a teen is when he was elected. Dave Lively if we get accountability, it will be Trump. If Jeffrey Jones Reagan for the world. We inherited Jeffrey. He was a hell of a president. Don LeClaire Donald Trump best president ever. Will Hardesty Honorable Donald J. Trump best president United States has ever had. Ronald James writes Trump because he doesn't apologize to the mob. Crystal, you teched President Trump the only one able to stand up to the hate and attacks of the left. He can't be bought. He doesn't need their money or their fame. Steve Cadorette writes Teddy Roosevelt because he had the foresight to preserve the land with the national parks for future generations. And he was a big time hunter. Yeah, he sure was. I love TR by the way we share a birthday. He would have been 107 years old if he had lived to see me join the planet. But he didn't. I will tell you, my two favorite presidents are the two indispensable presidents. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln. Without them, we wouldn't be here to fight another day. But thank God Donald Trump is here to fight another day, every day for this great republic of ours and not back down. That's what I felt when I saw Marco Rubio talk in Munich an extension of the Trump administration declaring, the west is going to rise again. It's a pretty good feeling, got to be honest. I hope you enjoy President's Day. Don't go to the bank. Forget to join me tomorrow morning, 6am to start the Real America's Voice live broadcast. I do it every Monday through Friday, the Steve Gruber show. And of course, follow me on all the social media platforms, including YouTube. All right. And I'll see you tomorrow for America's Voice live as well. Until then, this is an I Heart podcast. Guaranteed human.

“For we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline... We do not seek to separate, but to revitalize an old friendship and renew the greatest civilization in human history.” (04:50)
Gruber interprets this shift as a return to "confidence, strength, and clarity" (07:03).
Prediction: Cuba's communist regime is on the verge of collapse due to resource exhaustion and loss of outside support (07:25).
Steve Gruber outlines five key issues he believes will determine the political landscape:
The Real Economy: The "paycheck economy" is heating up, growing voters’ optimism and benefiting Trump-era policies on taxes and refunds.
"He did not have to pay taxes on any of that overtime. Our refund is huge this year. Thank you, President Trump." (09:12)
Election Integrity (SAVE Act): Growing bipartisan support; predicts passage, citing overwhelming public demand for transparency and ID-based voting.
Supreme Court on Racial Gerrymandering: Predicts a conservative ruling freezing efforts to redraw districts based on race, potentially giving Republicans a significant advantage.
Ballot Counting Lawsuit: Mississippi’s case could bring an end to extended ballot counting, restoring voter confidence through timely results.
Ukraine Peace Talks: Expects potential breakthrough with U.S. involvement, arguing that peace in Ukraine will stabilize global politics and further benefit the party seen as strong leaders.
