All right, let's kick off this Friday. Welcome to America's Voice Live. I am Brian Glenn, filling in for the great Steve Gruber. Today is Friday, the 20th of March in the year of our Lord 2026. Let's get into today's top stories. As always, thank you for tuning in to real America's Voice. We do appreciate that. U.S. secretary of War Pete Hexthe says U.S. military is escalating its air campaign against Iran with larger strike packages as Operation Epic Fury continues in full force. More details on that coming up a little bit later today. Also, as oil and gas prices continue continue to rise, President Trump issued a warning in a true social post that Iranian oil and gas bills could be placed in the crosshairs of US Military action as the IRGC continues targeting energy assets. More on that as well. Then later, an explosive undercover investigation by Accuracy and media caught a Western Kentucky University administrator admitting the school is still still teaching DEI and anti racism and inequity because of an accredited requirement loophole. I'll have more details on that later on. But first, I want to start with the war in Iran. That's our top story going into today. Under President Trump's leadership, Operation Epic Fury has emerged as a stunning demonstration of America's restored strength and resolve. In just weeks, US Forces has crippled Iranian military terrorist infrastructure, earning broad approval from Republicans and a growing share of American public alike. However, while this operation is still for our national security and peace purposes, there are other Americans, including Republicans, who want this war to end soon without putting boots on the ground. Concerns that terror attacks are on the rise ever since the recent attacks we saw at a Michigan Synagogue and Old Dominion University involving Iranian linked individuals not only, but concerns on, however, this will affect the GOP midterms. Belinger as well, as I said, it's important to address the threat, and it could come at a cost. Joining me to unpack all of this is Congressman Gabe Evans of Colorado, 8th District DHS being left unfunded, leading concerns over potential terror attacks. So we're going to talk about. Let's first unpack the war, all that's going on right now. Congressman, where do you, where do you assess where we're at right now in terms of pushing back and destroying this Iranian regime?
Jim Oberweis
Yeah.
Congressman Gabe Evans
Well, great to be on with you. You can see 22 years of my resume behind me. I was a cop for 10 years. I was a soldier for 12 years. I deployed to the Middle east, specifically to this region, to counter Iranian aggression in the Persian Gulf, or as we called it when we were over there, the Arabian Gulf. And so this is something that I'm very, very familiar with, both as a, uh, 60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot and also my battalion's intelligence officer. This was a decade overdue. We know the Iranian regime preaches daily death to America. They're the global sponsor, global leading sponsor of terrorism. You mentioned some of the terrorist attacks that occurred in the United States, and they were showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, in negotiations just a couple of months ago with the administration, they bragged about having 1,000 pounds of 60% enriched uranium, in addition to massively increasing their ballistic missile and their drone capability, by which they would be able to hold that entire region and U.S. interest and allied interests in the region at risk by being able to unleash swarms of ballistic missiles and drones, and then behind that, continuing to work on their nuclear ambitions. So it was high time that Iran in particular understood that there is no better friend and no worse enemy than the United States. And so I'm very glad to see this operation moving quickly. I think it's going well based on my experiences over there, because this shows that the US Is willing to take that decisive action and, and project peace through strength by dismantling the terrorist capability of the Iranian regime.
Brian Glenn
Absolutely. Pushing back on that is definitely a task. Now, the other is opening up the straight of Hormuz, which a large percentage of the world's oil goes through that. Now, I think we use about 2 to 3% of that oil. I wish we didn't use any of it, to be quite honest with you. I'd rather have energy independence here in this country, not rely on anything happening over there. But where are we at as far as bringing our allies in to help us secure that region so we can open it up and get a little bit more activity going through there?
Congressman Gabe Evans
Well, you hit the nail on the head, which is that even though 20% of the world's oil goes through the Straits of Hormuz, a very, very small percentage of that actually comes back to the United States. So if you go look at oil prices, US oil, the WTI West Texas Index, is actually below $100 a barrel, whereas the Merban index, which is Middle Eastern oil, that's almost $50 higher. And that oil, who'd sanctioned Iranian oil, sanctioned by the United States Congress and enforced by the administration, well, enforced by Republican administrations. That was oftentimes going to some of our leading global competitors, places like China and other communist or nefarious regimes. And so what we're seeing right now with the Straits of Hormuz is not only the military operation to dismantle Iran's ability to project terrorism beyond their borders, but it's also putting America's allies, and it's putting America's adversaries in a difficult position where they get to decide are they going to actually pony up and in the case of our allies, do what they say they're going to do, meet that 2 to 5% NATO obligation of spending of their GDP towards spending. And then in the case of China, is China going to exert any pressure to try to turn the lifeline that the Straits of Hormuz are on back on for the Chinese? And so it really is, as you said, it's a global flashpoint. It's a global flashpoint that is having some impact on American oil prices, but not nearly the same impact that it's having on regimes like the Chinese communist regime. And so this just goes back to basically that Reagan concept of free market economies are stronger than oppressive, tyrannical communist economies. And so while there's a little bit of a pain at the pump right now for Americans, that pain is exponentially magnified for a lot of our competitors who have been taking advantage of the United States and the, the free trade that we've provided through the U.S. navy. And now that that is somewhat being impacted through the Straits of Hormuz, you've got these, these other countries that have to decide are they going to pony up and help, or are they going to watch their oil prices and their fuel prices skyrocket significantly more than what's happening in America?
Brian Glenn
All right, let's transition a little bit Closer to home with DHS funding or being left unfunded, I should say, does that open up any additional potential risk for terror attacks here on our soil?
Congressman Gabe Evans
Massively so. Again, switching now from my military experience to my law enforcement experience, I worked some of these cases. We know that there's a couple of different plays that foreign terrorist organizations engage in. They will either try to inspire homegrown terrorist attacks. And when we don't have the Department of Homeland Security funded because Democrats refuse to fund it because they have never moved on from their open borders and defund the police ways, when we don't have the federal Department of Homeland Security available to interact and share information with state and local law enforcement, then we can see, as you mentioned at the beginning of this hour, we can see some of those terrorist attacks that happen either from lone wolf actors inspired by terrorist propaganda or you also have coordinated and organized attacks via a variety of mechanisms. A major US company, Stryker, which does medical, they build medical things, multibillion dollar company, was recently hacked by Iranian aligned hackers. One of the components within the Department of Homeland Security that protects American infrastructure in American businesses from foreign nation state actors is cisa. It's the cyber, the cyber folks that partner with American companies and the American free market to keep them safe from Iranian hackers. They're defunded right now. We saw reporting just a couple of days ago from our partners to the north, the Canadians. They've identified over 700 IRGC Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp agents in Canada. We have the longest international border in the world shared with Canada. And so when the Department of Homeland Security is not funded, you have the risk that some of those 700 known IRGC Iranian revolutionary activists in Canada can just migrate south across our border. So it's absolutely imperative that Democrats stop playing games with national security, with the security of the American homeland, and allow the Department of Homeland Security to be funded again. And a reminder for everyone, it takes 60 votes to pass something through the Senate. Republicans only have 53 votes. We need the Democrats to join and turn on the Department of Homeland Security.
Brian Glenn
And it's amazing how the Save America act and having voter ID proof of citizenship to vote. Congressman, these are very basic elements that overwhelmingly are supported by the American people. Why don't Democrats understand that and listen to their constituents and the people that they're polling saying, hey, this is common sense approach. What is their end goal by not having. I think I know the answer to your question. What's the end goal of them not having to provide citizenship and proof of citizenship and photo ID to vote.
Congressman Gabe Evans
Well, it's because the Democrat party right now is fully in the grip of their far left communist Marxist base and they don't even hide it anymore. Look at no further than the, the mayor of New York. Or look here in Colorado where we're seeing long term pretty far left radical Democrats being yelled at, screamed at, booed by their own base because they're not far enough left. All of the Democrats right now are under tremendous pressure from their far left Marxist base and they're running scared of it. It's the tail wagging the dog. And so you mentioned the Save America act, the very simple concept that in order to register to vote you need to show proof of citizenship and then to cast your vote you need to include some sort of photo ID that shows that you are in fact that citizen who is registered to vote. 80% of Americans support this. A super majority of Democrats support this. Independents support this by a 3/4 margin. So it's an incredibly simple and incredibly common sense proposal that only citizens can register to vote and you have to show that you are who you say you are when you cast that ballot. And Democrats can't do it because they're terrified of their Marxist base and because, you know, I think that they are okay with non citizens voting.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, that's their end goal. Congressman, thank you so much. First of all, thank you for your services country, both on a military level and your local and regional state for the American people. Thank you so much for that and hope you have a fantastic weekend and we look forward to seeing you again. Thank you.

All right, happy Friday, Brian Glenn filling in for the great Steve Gruber. He'll be back on Monday. All right. Continuing the discussion of operation epic fury. Now u. S. Secretary of war Pete Hexseth says the US Military is escalating its air campaign against Iran with larger strike packages aiming to cripple Iran's missile and drone capabilities. Reports indicated about 2,500 Marines accompanying the amphibious ships are being deployed to form a part of a second marine expediting unit headed towards the region. Now, while officially ordered discussions or preparatory movements suggest that ground operations, especially around strategic points like Cargob island, remain in planners consideration. Breaking all of this down to discuss is scholar and speaker and author Dr. Steve Turley. Now, there's a lot of moving parts on this war, and I told you in the break, I've got a PhD in common sense, but I do not have a PhD in war maneuvers. But let's talk a little bit about what's happening now. Obviously, the US Being very dominant in the air Campaign. We've sunk in all of their ships. They're basically on the bottom of the ocean. Now we're focused on the Strait of Hormuz. Doctor, break it down for me. Where are we at right now?
Dr. Steve Turley
Yeah, that was a great framing. I think a really helpful way of understanding what's happening is we're watching a fifth dimensional warfare defeating a third dimensional military. So third dimensional warfare operates across the three classical domains of land, sea and air. Right? So you build tanks, ships, fighter jets, you harden your bunkers, you train your soldiers, you buy your missiles. Iran did all of that in spades and did it seriously over decades with Russian and Chinese help. That's third dimensional warfare. Land, sea, and era. It's defined warfare for thousands of thousands of years. Fifth dimensional warfare adds two more domains on top of the three, cyberspace and space itself. Right, Space force. But more importantly, it doesn't just add those domains, it fuses them. So real time satellite intelligence feeds directly into targeting algorithms. Cyber operations blind enemy radar before single aircraft crosses the border. Space command denies the enemy GPs while preserving their own electronic warfare. Aircraft cut the nervous system of an integrated air defense network, all the while Stealth bombers fly through it under undetected. Every domain talks to every other domain simultaneously in literally milliseconds, compressing what used to take days of planning into a kill chain, measured again in literally seconds. And so the result of what we're seeing is not just, it's, it's not just, it's not a fair fight in the traditional sense, Brian. It's a category mismatch. It's like pitting a medieval castle against a precision drone strike. It's not that the castle was weak. The castle's just simply operating with a different physics. Iran's air defense was formidable, but against another comparable third dimensional threat. But against a fifth dimensional threat, it turns out that it was rendered totally irrelevant. That's what we're seeing playing out in this war. What Operation Epic Fury has revealed in real time, in the most visceral possible way, is that we have now entered a categorically different era. One in which the decisive variable power is no longer how much military hardware a state possesses, but instead what technological generation it operates in.
Brian Glenn
Now. One of the things that we're waiting for, Doctor, is the people, the Iranian people, to, quote, rise up and take control of their government. And what, what that looks like, I have no idea. President Trump has often said that these people face a lot of dangers in doing that, because obviously the government still, for the most part, is in control. And there's a lot of violence towards the people. So how do they take control of this government and gives us an exit plan to get out?
Dr. Steve Turley
Yeah, it seems like it's a multivariable outworking there. It could be just a matter of the inability for the regime to project power. I'm, I'm. I know I'm a little goofy here, but I like using the abominable snow monster example from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Sam Romain
Okay.
Dr. Steve Turley
Everybody feared him. He was really scary. And then what did he lose? He loses his first fangs. And then nobody's scared of him anymore and they start calling him the Bumble. And he becomes compliant and neighborly and the like. That's what they're trying to do. The regime completely defang it. Remove any fear. Because that's how they've operated as a autocracy for these 47 years through the realm of fear. Remove any fear that the people would have, and then the people would spontaneously rise. Another scenario is that the Mossad already has a couple of generals, turncoats inside, and they're the ones who are gonna help lead a rebellion from within. From within? Maybe just the civilian army as opposed to the irgc, Possibly somebody inside the irgc. What's key, it seems to me, is all the evidence is pointing in the direction that this regime's days are over, at least in terms of how it operated for the last 47 years. Because they just. Their. Their ability to project power has been decimated. And you'll notice too, Brian, it's. It's the fact that there's no mass Islamic uprisings going on in the Middle East. There are no protests filling the streets of Egypt or Jordan or Syria. In fact, every GCC country issued a joint statement with Israel, with Israel condemning Iran in no uncertain terms. Even the Europeans are now issuing statements denouncing Iran and agreeing to some kind of Hormuz coalition to help police the waters. But make no mistake, the Europeans would never have done that. They would never have brought their fleets anywhere near Iran unless they believed the tide had turned. Unless they thought that we were winning. So that's the key. Iran needs to look like that abominable snowman. Like the Bumble. No teeth. And no one will fear them anymore. And then they become, ironically, somewhat irrelevant in the region.
Brian Glenn
Understandable. Thank you so much for analysis. Where can people find you on social media to follow your coverage of this as well?

Dr. Steve Turley

Brian Glenn
Yes, sir. All right. Coming up after the break, I'll discuss the prices of oil and gas here in the United States as Operation Epic Fury continues against the Iranian regime over in the Middle East. More on that coming up next. Stick around. The war with Iran enters its 20th day. Oil prices rose to nearly $110 a barrel this morning, and Americans are feeling the squeeze now. Nationwide, gas prices have surged to more than $3.80 a gallon, driving home heating and transportation and everyday goods slightly higher. Now. Overnight, President Trump raised the stakes. Warning in a true social post, Iranian oil and gas fields could be placed in the crosshairs of US Military action if the IRGC continues targeting energy assets. Now, a strike could significantly impact both US and global energy markets. Here to discuss how this could impact the world is chairman of Americans for Energy Dominance, Sam Romain. Sam, thank you so much for joining us. We were talking a little bit in the break about diesel prices in particular, because this is really how we move goods across this country by truck, and that's obviously ending up costing us more.
Sam Romain
Yeah. Thank you for having me on the show. I've been on the show a few times now. It's always a pleasure. There's a lot of things that are taking place right now, and the most important takeaway is that energy infrastructure is a target of war, and energy markets are very sensitive to war. But the bigger question, too, is why are we as Americans so dependent on Middle Eastern oil still to this day? You have gas prices going up. You have diesel prices going up. You have fertilizer and food that are going to be impacted by this. You have liquid natural gas, lng, which powers a large majority of our country affected by this. And the simple answer, the real simple answer is basic supply and demand, right? As the United States as a country actually does not use the Strait of Hormuz as much of other countries do. But when those countries can no longer access these energy commodities, we start to send it to them, which increases the price, Right. That also increases the price on homeowners. And we need to be asking ourselves, why are we making it so incredibly difficult through regulation and red tape and fees to become energy independent? As a nation and especially as a homeowner, we should be protecting our citizens here in America from the overseas whims of the Middle east, and we should be able to project power as the world's superpower. We should be able to project power overseas without directly impacting our everyday citizens at home. That's the real question.
Brian Glenn
I'm so glad you broke that down because as that gets disrupted, more people lean on buying our oil and natural gas, which raises the price. I'm glad you brought that up. But it does bring up that bigger picture. I mean, President Trump ran on drill, baby, drill. We have been drilling. I know that West Texas has more natural gas and oil than we know what to do with. We have so much in oil reserves. But as an American, we look at this and go, why are we risking American lives? Why are we in this war risking American life to what? So the other countries can get their oil? I could give Iraq's, you know, what about any other country other than the US Right now? And it just. When I see the Battle of the Strait of Hormuz and you see so much activity going on right now, I got to ask myself, is it worth risking American lives so that the rest of the world can get their oil? I guess that's another question that I can raise as well.
President Donald Trump
Yeah.
Sam Romain
Look, I'm not as well versed on geopolitical war conflict as your last guest was, but I would say that I, and most people care about American issues and American and these are kitchen issues that are taking this country by storm. If you just look at Virginia, New Jersey, even Nevada, we are have lost or may even be on the edge of losing important governor seats over kitchen table affordability. War is not making that easier. Now, I do believe as the world's superpower, if we want to project power overseas for whatever reason, good or bad, may be we should be able to do that without directly impacting the citizens of America. But that also comes down to permitting and regulation and transportation here at home. I mean, just to build a nuclear plant, for example. I'm 32. Okay. There have been nuclear plants that have been stuck in permitting here in America longer than I've been Alive. It takes 15 to 20 years to build a nuclear facility. I'd love to say that nuclear is the future, but we can't build in this country without regulation just stifling everybody.
Brian Glenn
You're absolutely right. It is one of the cleanest forms. It's most productive. I'm with you on this. I wish we did more of that. I wish we had more time to talk to you as well. Sam Roman, thank you so much for joining us on this Friday. All the best over the weekend. Thank you.
Sam Romain
Thank you so much.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, we need to get that nuclear energy. I'M telling you, it's clean, it's safe. Got to do it. All right, think about this. In 2006, $20,000 equaled roughly 33 ounces of gold at spot prices. Now, today's prices, who's those 33 ounces be worth? About $165,000. So smart Americans diversify a portion of their savings into precious metals. A recent investigation has led to the discovery that a rogue college administrators are undermining the law by continuing to embed DEI into the university curriculums. More on that coming up after the break. Stick around.
President Donald Trump
All right.
Brian Glenn
Welcome back to adl. I am Brian Glenn filling in for the great Steve Gruber. He'll be back here on Monday. And if you want more of Steve and Ivy, you can tune in starting on Monday at 7am Instant as they're taking over. American Sunrise early edition is now going to be with Steve Gruber. All right. Well, Kentucky is in a quagmire after banning DEI and public universities as rogue college administrators undermine the law by embedding DEI into their curriculum. An explosive undercover investigation by Accuracy in Media caught a Western Kentucky University administrator admitting the school is still teaching DEI Anti racism and equity because of an accreditor requirement loophole. Check this out.
Western Kentucky University Administrator
Five prerequisite courses that are associated with our program like Social Work 101, a psychologist class, a sociology class, a DEI course which is can be from a lot of different choices. Coming from California, I was really worried because at least out there I know like DEI works specifically like anti racism, right? Precisely. So still like allowance out there and I didn't know that coming to contribute with me. But I mean, you guys have it in the program that's what actually this program, the entire Department of Social Work and probably that's what most programs that are offered out in California or at any higher education. We're accredited by the cswe, which is the Council on Social Work Education. Yes. If you go to, let's say you don't even want to go to wku. If you go to a college that has a social work program that's accredited by the cswe. Yeah. It's in their curriculum standards that we teach about age, anti racism, diversity, equity and inclusion. Yeah. And I don't have anything to do always what the government would like us to.
Brian Glenn
Here to discuss that is the president of the Accuracy and Media, Adam Gillette. Adam, welcome to the show.
Adam Gillette
Thank you for having me.
Brian Glenn
All right. Are we surprised this is still taking place? I thought we did away with all the DEI and you know, the Democrats, in my opinion, they, they lost the White House last year because they embraced too much of it under Joe Biden. But obviously they're, they're still doing it.
Adam Gillette
Well, our hidden camera investigators go to red states across the country that have banned dei, supposedly according to legislation within their state. They go to Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Iowa. And we find this stuff everywhere we go. Some of the absolute worst has been in the state of Kentucky. And it's as you saw in that video, the law they passed is weak. It bans DEI offices. Well, they simply just renamed those and changed the job titles. And it doesn't even ban DEI in the curriculum. So now, as they tell us, it's embedded in every facet of education.
Brian Glenn
You know, did you have any kind of whistleblowers? I mean, you see occasional posts on social media with someone who will go to a company or perhaps in an education establishment of saying, I can't believe that they're doing fill in the blank. I mean, do you guys get a lot of tips on this stuff? I can't help but think this is nationwide as well, not just Kentucky.
Adam Gillette
Sure. You know, we don't need tips. We just need a GPS to the nearest university and odds are we're going to find it. You know, as I said in Kentucky, in nearly every state that supposedly banned DEI and they didn't ban it from the curriculum. Now the excuse they use is that the accreditors require it. Now, I have no problem with talking about controversial topics. Communism, fascism, DEI in the appropriate course. You want to discuss that in philosophy or, you know, politics class, knock yourself out. But you shouldn't be discussing it in math class, nor should you be promoting it. Only the Florida DEI ban bans the promotion of identity politics. All of these other states backed the down to the accreditors and allow them to push it in every facet of education. They most commonly brag about promoting these ideas in social work, in criminology and in education. When you wonder why Your K through 12 schools are run by radicals, it's because they were taught by administrators and educators who use a DEI focused curriculum.
Brian Glenn
Now, Adam, as a parent, what can, what, what can we do if all of a sudden you find out that your child's enrolled in university and next thing you know, this garbage comes up? Is there any recourse from a parental standpoint?
Adam Gillette
Well, obviously, it really starts in K through 12 education. We've been undercover in more than 250 school districts in red states across the country. And I would say to any parent with a child in traditional K12 education, take your kid out of that school tomorrow. You know, I've personally been to these deep red schools and deep red districts and, and they brag to me about their curriculum is they brag about all their equity officers.
Brian Glenn
All right, real quickly, Adam, hang on a second. We're going to go out to President Trump. He's in the South Lawn gaggling with reporters. Let's listen in.
Reporter
What?
President Donald Trump
We've been hitting him awfully hard. I mean, I don't know if you can possibly get hit harder, but these are thugs and animals and horrible people. But you can't hit anybody harder than we've hit them. But I'm not surprised. Executed three young people for protesting.
Brian Glenn
And do you plan to escort those ships through the Strait of Hormuz with
President Donald Trump
or without allies very well there? We're doing very well overall. You know, we don't use the strait. We don't. The United States, we don't need it. Europe needs it. Korea, Japan, China, a lot of other people. So they'll have to get involved a little bit on that one
Reporter
to use here. Wanted South Korea. Korea supporting United States.
President Donald Trump
Now, what about it?
Reporter
Do you still want South Korea supporting?
President Donald Trump
Well, I love South Korea. We have a great relationship with South Korea where we're helping South Korea a lot.
Brian Glenn
Mr. President, do you think Israel will
Reynolds Kitchens Advertiser
be ready to end the war when you're ready?
President Donald Trump
I think so, yeah. The relationship's a very good one. I think so. We want more or less similar things. You know what we want? We want victory, both of us. And that's what we've got. How will the, you know, I may have a plan or I may not, but how Would I ever say that to a reporter? If I said that to a reporter, Marco would say, please, sir, let's bring you over to the helicopter immediately. Right. I can't. I can't tell you that. Certainly a place that people are talking about, but I can.
Reporter
Should Operation Epic Fury attack talks with Russia on Ukraine?
President Donald Trump
What about it? Are the talks on back burner right
Reporter
now because of the outbreak?
President Donald Trump
No, we're talking. We're talking about it. I think it'll get done. When do you expect the next round of talks to take place? They take place almost every day. We're making a lot of progress.
Reporter
The war was militarily wanted. Iran. What did you mean by that? He said the, the war was militarily won in Iran. What did you mean by that?
President Donald Trump
Oh, I think we've won. We've knocked out their navy, their air force, we've knocked out their anti aircraft, we've knocked out everything. We're roaming free. From a military standpoint, all they're doing is clogging up the strait. But from a military standpoint, they're finished.
Reporter
So how much longer should the American people expect? You said opening the straight up for wood. The straight. Simple military maneuver.
President Donald Trump
Very simple.
Reporter
Yeah, but what does he mean by that?
President Donald Trump
It's a simple military maneuver. It's relatively safe. But you need a lot of help in the sense of you need ships, you need volume. And NATO could help us, but they so far haven't had the courage to do so. And others could help us, but you know, we don't use it. You know, at a certain point it'll open itself at a certain point. But we've defeated the enemy and they are an enemy. They're a sick group of people. The leadership is gone. The navy is gone. The air force is gone. The anti aircraft equipment that they have, the radar they have is all gone. Everything's gone. The strait itself, the actual strait. How are you? The strait itself is. We're doing a good job job. But it would be nice if the countries, including China, if the countries that use it, China uses it, 90% of their energy. Japan is 95% of the energy. It would be nice if those countries would get involved. I thought she did a good job yesterday.
Reporter
In Europe. Lindsey Graham has asked for you to reconsider the American basis in Spain, in Germany, after what they have done in the Strait of Vermouth.
Adam Gillette
What's your take on.
President Donald Trump
Well, it deserves. He's right about asking that. And I think NATO has gone down a long way because they haven't I mean, they should be helping with the strait. They get much of their energy from the Strait of Hormuz. And if Lindsey Graham said that, and don't forget he was the big NATO guy for a while and now he's not. And a lot of senators and congressmen, they were big. They're very upset with the fact that NATO has done nothing
Jim Oberweis
for a ceasefire
Reporter
to Italy and to reopen dialogue.
President Donald Trump
Well, look, we can have dialogue, but we don't. I don't want to do a ceasefire. You know, you don't do a ceasefire when you're literally obliterating the other side. They don't have a navy, they don't have an air force, they don't have any equipment to. They don't have any spotters, they don't have anti aircraft, they don't have radar. And their leaders have all been killed at every level. We're not looking to do that,
Reporter
Sir. Chuck north, sir. I bet it was a great. Wow, He was a great guy. He was a really good tough cookie. We didn't want to fight him. Great guy and he was a great supporter. Wow, that's good, man. It, You know, the United States might be sending 2500 Marines to the Middle East. Are you concerned that a move like that could potentially change the.
President Donald Trump
I don't know.
Reporter
I think that great support because CNN
President Donald Trump
came out with a poll today that
Reporter
I'm at 100% and they said they've
President Donald Trump
never seen a poll like that.
Reporter
The CNN poll should have been 100%
President Donald Trump
and they've never seen that before, which is an honor.
Reporter
I was, I was impressed that CNN would do that. But as far as groups are concerned, I can't tell you what we're going to do. Mr. President, the President. You forget, Mr. President, you took issue with Australia, Japan and South Korea this week. Yeah, I was very surprised, very surprised about Australia. And what, what would you like them to do?
President Donald Trump
Well, they should get involved and I was a little bit surprised if they said no because we always say yes to them.
Reporter
What did Australia say? This is a very religious.
President Donald Trump
They were really pretty much our first
Reporter
ally all over the world. First ally. And they didn't want us to use the island, the so called island, which
President Donald Trump
for some reason they gave up rights to it.
Reporter
And I was a little surprised at
President Donald Trump
the UK to be honest with you.
Reporter
They should have, they should have acted a lot faster. They should have acted a lot faster. Did you see that your former press secretary, Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant? Like staff who felt threatened by her politics well, her politics are right down the center. She's a good person and that shouldn't have happened. Where did that take place?
President Donald Trump
Here or in Arkansas?
Reporter
In Arkansas. Arkansas. Wow.
President Donald Trump
In Arkansas.
Reporter
That's very surprising.
President Donald Trump
I love Arkansas.
Reporter
I won that sage by so much. I think that Sarah's going to be just fine. But it's too bad. She's a good woman. Sarah is way up. We're not giving a nuclear weapon to terrorist st and we're, we're knocking the hell out of them. Their Navy's gone, their air force is gone, their leaders are gone, their anti aircraft is gone. Everything's gone. And no, I expect it worse. I really thought, I thought that oil prices would go much higher when I did this. We just set every record, every record in the book with Dow, with the S and p, Dow with 50,000s and P at 8,000, 7,000 at levels at
President Donald Trump
speed like nobody's ever seen before.
Reporter
But I should have to go off from that path and I have to take a little journey. We have to get deep. And he would agree, but he's not going to say it. And this is not St. Patrick's Day, by the way. What are you doing with that guy? But we had to go off on a circuitous path and take care of business. And we have, we are in the
President Donald Trump
process of doing it.
Reporter
And I'll tell you, I think we're weeks ahead of schedule. My Secretary of state is very happy. Do you have a question for Marco? Yes. How soon? President Trump said this week that he would take you. How soon? And what are you guys hearing from your Senate colleagues about the changes of the state of America? Seems to be doing okay. Voter id, citizenship to vote. And I'm hearing very good things.
President Donald Trump
I mean, I was hearing negative things
Reporter
because the Democrats are all against voter
President Donald Trump
id, they're all against citizenship to vote.
Reporter
They're against transgender. You know, they have, they like the transgender thing with feudalization, with your children. All of the things we talked about, you know, we added to, you know, we added to no men and women's voice. Right. You know that. We added that. And when you add them all up, whether you take 4 or 5, I think they're all 95 to 99 percentages. I hear it showing, it should be an easy pass. But we need Democrat votes.
President Donald Trump
They don't want to approve voter ID because they cheat. They don't want to approve citizenship.
Reporter
In other words, you want to have citizenship in order to vote, you have
President Donald Trump
to approve your citizenship.
Reporter
The Democrats don't want to do that you know why? You know why? Because they want to cheat.
President Donald Trump
Peter.
Reporter
Now, speaking of something that's more pleasant, do that be the greatest ballroom anywhere in the world. Nothing like it. And they just started today, one of the biggest boards of concrete that's ever been seen in Washington. When they're doing the construction, does it ever wake you up? It makes me happy when I hear those pile drivers. My wife doesn't love it, but I love the sound. I love the sound of concrete.
President Donald Trump
I love the sound of pile drivers.
Reporter
How are you? You one question. How are you?
Brian Glenn
Well, that was a classic South Lawn briefing with President Trump going from everything from the death of Chuck Norris to the progression of securing the straight of her moose to oil prices even to Ed reporter's tie. Good stuff there. All right. Thanks for hanging with us. We got about three and a half minutes left. Now let's go to the outcome of the 2026 midterm elections will shape our country's directions for years to come. Seats in both the House and the Senate are up for election, making this cycle a crucial moment for leadership and policy decisions that affect all Americans. For voters, the focus isn't on politics as usual. It's on real life issues from the cost of living to the economy and to the day to day challenges facing American families. Joining me now to discuss that congressional candidate running to replace Byron Donald's open seat in Florida, 19 is Jim Oberweis. Jim, thanks for hanging with us. As President Trump was on the South Lawn. Real quickly, when do you think as far as what is your prediction of the midterms? Amongst we're in a war which politically, if you go by the playbook, it's not the most, it's not number one thing you do is get into a war. In a political season, we are rebounding from the economy. What's your take on the midterms coming up and what is important to Americans?
Jim Oberweis
Brian? Look, it's always difficult for the team that is out of power. Excuse me, is in power, out of power team usually picks up some seats. This I think it's too early to say. I think we'll know more in September and I think it's going to depend a lot on what happens in Iran. Hopefully the president's got a plan that will work. He has more information than I do. If in fact he can pull it off and we can get a favorable regime in Iran, we're going to do very, very well. I will tell you one thing for sure, we're going to do very well in the 19th congressional district in Florida and I think all across Florida will come home very strong.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Let me ask a question. You've been talking to your potential voters. What's on their mind right now?
Jim Oberweis
Well, certainly the economy is one of the issues and I've been talking about the dangers of our uncontrollable, unsustainable growth in our national debt. This to me, you know, my, my business, running a mutual fund portfolio, starting a mutual fund business. And I'm very aware of the dangers and the risks that we have if we get a sudden surprise in our financial markets. This could lead to much higher inflation and much higher interest rates, neither of which would be good for most people in their pocketbooks. So I'm running to Congress to try to help bring control of that. In fact, I have proposed a no budget, no pay. It's Congress job to pass a budget. They don't pass a budget, Congress should not get paid, period. End of discussion and no retroactive pay. If we do that, that would end continuing resolutions, it would end government shutdown. So I think that's a crucial idea. And Senator Rick Scott, our senator here in Florida has already proposed that.
Brian Glenn
John, let me tell you something. I hope our viewers are paying attention right now if they live in that district because that is an excellent point. I've heard other members of Congress talk about this for years, but it's going to be tough to pass. I'll just say that, because look, when everyone talks about protecting taxpayers dollars, but we're 36, 37 trillion dollars in debt, they've done a really crappy job of that over the last 20 years or so. That's, that's a great approach to that. All right, so you got an amazing resume. Why not just retire, relax, enjoy your life?
Congressman Gabe Evans
I did.
Jim Oberweis
Well, I did exactly that. But when Byron announced that he was going to be running for governor, I literally had eight or nine people in the first week come up to me and say, Jim, we need your financial background, we need your financial experience and legislative experience in Washington D.C. because of this, this concern that I've had for a long time over the national debt and I've had a long time concern over illegal immigration. And quite frankly, I proposed a solution there too. And we think this could basically says cut off all government payments to illegal aliens. No more unemployment, no more SNAP benefits, no Social Security, no Medicare. If we do that, it's going to save a lot of money. It also will very likely make a lot of illegal aliens decide to self deport, go back to their home country because there's no longer the financial incentives to be here. Win, win for everybody.
Brian Glenn
Hey, real quick, about a minute and a half left. I'm up against a hard break. Give me the timeline here of the Florida primary, obviously the general in November. What is the primary there in Florida?
Jim Oberweis
It's August 18th, so a little less than five months.
Brian Glenn
Okay, so you're out on the campaign trail. How can people get more information about your campaign if they want to learn more about you, perhaps donate? I know it takes money, even though I know you're probably self financing a lot of it, which is great, but money always helps as well. How can people get more information about you, sir?
Jim Oberweis
Absolutely. Our website is votejimo.com we would love to have you take a look. And by the way, on the website there is a press release that we just did on the SAVE act, which I think is crucial to assuring fair elections going forward. And it's interesting that many Democrats, including Chuck Schumer, voted for something very similar in 2002. Now, how they could vote favorably for a voter registration with ID in 2002 and now oppose it makes no logical sense to me whatsoever.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Jim, thank you so much for joining us on this Friday. Good luck to you and we'll, we'll speak to you.
Jim Oberweis
Thanks, Brian. Have a great weekend.
Brian Glenn
Thank you. And thank you to our viewers who tuned in today. As a reminder, we'll be back here next week. All CPAC coverage will continue midnight Wednesday through Saturday as well, right here on Real America's Voice. You can follow me at Brian Glenn TV across social media until next time. Good.

“When we don’t have the Department of Homeland Security funded... we can see some of those terrorist attacks that happen... inspired by terrorist propaganda.”
(11:10, Rep. Evans)
“80% of Americans support this. A super majority of Democrats support this. Independents support this by a 3/4 margin.”
(14:09, Rep. Evans)
“Remove any fear... and the people would spontaneously rise.”
(25:32, Dr. Steve Turley)
“They simply just renamed those and changed the job titles... it’s embedded in every facet of education.”

(54:14, Jim Oberweis)
“It was high time that Iran in particular understood that there is no better friend and no worse enemy than the United States.”
(08:03, Rep. Gabe Evans)
“This is a category mismatch. It’s like pitting a medieval castle against a precision drone strike.”
(23:19, Dr. Steve Turley)
“Only the Florida DEI ban bans the promotion of identity politics... All of these other states backed down to the accreditors and allow them to push it in every facet of education.”
(38:32, Adam Gillette)
“We don’t use the Strait [of Hormuz], Europe needs it, Korea, Japan, China, a lot of other people. So they'll have to get involved.”

The episode maintains a brisk, urgent tone with a focus on “real news” and direct analysis. Guests and the host speak with frankness and occasionally dramatic emphasis on threats and policy failures. Political topics are frequently framed in populist-conservative language.
“America’s Voice Live” delivers a pointed conservative analysis of U.S. military strategy in Iran, the pitfalls of energy dependency, vulnerabilities in domestic security, and cultural battles over DEI in education. The episode features insider perspectives, policy suggestions, and a lengthy unfiltered media moment with President Trump, making it a comprehensive dispatch for listeners invested in America’s current and future direction.
