Like always for the ongoing DHS shutdown and the Save America act debate, to the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran. And of course, CPAC starts today. We're here at Real America's Voice. We'll bring you wall to wall coverage shortly. Meanwhile, I want to start with the DHS funding standoff. President Trump says he is on board with a two step solution to do things, fund DHS and more importantly, get several parts of the Save America act enacted. Congress is staring down the barrel of two very important decisions this week. Funding DHS and of course Passing the Save America Act. First, a funding plan that would exclude ICE and get DHS back fully funded. Then through reconciliation, ICE funding and several components of the SAVE Act. Maybe they've got it figured out. Who knows? I'll keep you posted, but let's start with where we are. Start with dhs. What's happening right now in airports all over America is a national disgrace. And it's got one culprit stamped all over it. The radical Democrats in the Senate who are blocking funding time and again for the Department of Homeland Security like it's some kind of political game. And to them, maybe it is. We're talking almost 40 days of this partial shutdown. And every single day, hard working Americans are paying the price. With hours long TSA lines snaking through terminals from JFK to Atlanta to Houston, this isn't just an inconvenience, it's a security nightmare. And the left is trying to gaslight the country into believing it's somehow Republicans fault. Well, I'm not buying it. Neither should you. At Hartsfield Jackson in Atlanta, the world's busiest airport lines were forcing travelers to show up four hours early. Houston's George Bush Intercontinental and Hobby airports have seen wait stretching three to four hours with some checkpoints closing entirely. New Orleans, Philadelphia, New York's major hubs. Everywhere you look, unpaid TSA officers are calling in sick, quitting in droves, or just burning out from working without a paycheck for almost 40 days. This pilot is begging flyers to call their senators and get something done about it. Listen to what he says. I don't really care what your political persuasion is, but you should really call

is costing the airlines millions of dollars. And just think of 30 airplanes with one engine running. It's gonna take us at least 90 minutes to take off. So it's frustrating. It's really frustrating for me because right now it's gonna cost about two hours of our lives on the ground before we even take off. Spend all that gas, all that money, and it just rolls into the rest of this system. So right now we're at a 4% reduction in flight capacity. Next week we go to 10. Last night I had a six hour delay in Houston and the weather was perfect. It's because the air traffic controllers aren't getting paid. But here's the good news. Breaking through the gridlock. President Trump, as you know, has deployed ICE agents out to help. The same agents that Democrats have been demonizing for months are now helping those same Democrats get to their destinations safely and on time along with every other American. With TSA staffing shortages getting worse, the administration sent ICE officers to 14 major airports to help manage crowds, patrol perimeters, guard exit lanes, and relieve pressure on the remaining TSA team so they can focus on screening. Border czar Tom Homan is coordinating the effort and the message is clear. While Democrats dither, ICE is getting results. Of course. What does the opposition do in response? They're screaming bloody murder, calling ICE untrained for airport duties and accusing them of turning terminals into some kind of police state. Oh, my gosh, listen. And so what's happening today in America that should outrage everybody? He's taking the very same agency that has been bursting into our schools, into our churches, into our hospitals, into our courts, and even into the homes of Americans. He's taking that agency that is reckless and out of control and bringing them to our airports under the lie that somehow this is going to help deal with the long lines that he created in the first place. This is an outrage. Senator Booker needs a reality check. Give me a break. This is the same party that spent years letting millions pour across the border unchecked importing crime and fentanyl. While American communities suffered greatly, now they're pearl clutching when law enforcement shows up at home to keep citizens safe. There's also been a ridiculous amount of manufactured outrage over a viral video from San Francisco. airport, freaking people out. They weren't even sure it was in San Francisco airport.

What kind of an interaction was it actually? Do you know the situation? It was an arrest. I don't know.

Now you're bringing it up. I'm saying. All right, so the lefty doesn't know. Let me tell you what actually happened in the situation. In the video, ICE agents are arresting an illegal alien, a woman who's had a final order of removal since 2019. She was already being processed for removal when she attempted to run to flee. ICE agents made sure that didn't happen. Here's the truth they don't want you to hear. That incident happened before ICE was even deployed to airports. For this tca, tsa, that is backup mission. DHS officials confirmed it outright. It was a routine enforcement action on a Prior removal order completely unrelated to the shutdown response or the new airport assistance. But Democrats and their media allies are running with it anyway, blasting the footage everywhere to paint ICE as villains and scare families. Why? Because they're desperate to distract from the real cause of the pain, their own blockade of full DHS funding. Now, let's talk about the funding fight, because this is where the hypocrisy really grinds my gears. Here's how Hakeem Jeffries paints the picture. We should be able to get this done today. All Speaker Johnson needs to do is bring the legislation to the floor that will pay TSA agents and reopen the parts of the Department of Homeland Security that have nothing to do with ICE and have nothing to do with Trump's extreme and violent mass deportation machine. That's all that needs to happen. And yet House Republicans and Senate Republicans have consistently rejected paying TSA agents. Why? It's because they don't support getting ICE under control. Well, he just lies with ease, doesn't he? Here are the facts. House Republicans have passed a clean, full year bill to fund the entire Department of Homeland Security, not once, but at least twice. It pays the TSA agents, keeps ICE and CBP operational, funds the Coast Guard, fema, cisa, and everything else. It even included bipartisan reforms like expanded body cameras and de escalation training. None of it good enough. The legislation advanced with some support from both sides of the aisle. And what happens in the Senate? Well, Senate Democrats, led by the feeble Chuck Schumer, have blocked it every time. They even forced weekend sessions just to grandstand and offer piecemeal bills that fund TSA but strip out ICE and CBP entirely. Republicans rightly rejected those because you don't defund border enforcement in the middle of a security crisis. This isn't complicated. Republicans passed the bill to pay TSA and fully fund dhs. Twice. Democrats killed it twice. Yet here come the Democrats on every cable news show blaming Republicans for the shutdown and the chaos at airports. Schumer stands up and claims he wants to fund tsa, but then ties it to handcuffing ICE after a couple tragic enforcement incidents. News flash. Secure borders aren't a bargaining chip. They're not. They're essential to a functioning nation. The left let the southern border become a sieve for years. And now, now they're outraged that ICE is actually doing its job, both at the border and stepping in to help at our airports. And the lying and hypocrisy obviously doesn't stop with dhs. They're doing the same thing on the Save America act, which is in its second week of debate. Senator John Thune has come under a tremendous amount of criticism for not getting this bill passed after House Republicans have already done that twice too. But Senate Democrats definitely are not helping the matter. They're lying about that, too. I know you're shocked. Here it is to suggest that in

fact Democrats actually support photo id. It's just the rest of the SAVE Act. Save America Act, I should say that they're concerned about.

So on Thursday, the junior Republican senator from Ohio decided to give them an

And he offered a clean photo ID bill. No other provisions, just a measure to

which could be a driver's license or state ID card, a passport, a military ID, a tribal ID. And Democrats, Mr. President,

Democrats, the party that the Democrat leader said does not object to photo id.

Well, Democrats blocked it. Well, Kamala Harris won every state. Think about this. Kamala Harris won every state that does not require photo id. So of course the Democrats won't support that. They've actually even gone even further than just refusing to support it. They're trying to outright ban it. Id, that is, even though the majority of states have already passed their own laws requiring it, 36 in all. Look, this isn't about left versus right anymore. It's about common sense versus chaos. Americans are fed up with politicians who prioritize open border ideology and political theater over paying federal workers and securing our elections. Call your senators. United States continues to reinforce its military presence in Iran, sending 5,000 Marines and 1,000 paratroopers to the region in preparation for potential escalation, even as diplomatic talks, we're told, remain active. The Trump administration's proposed 15 point peace plan requiring nuclear dismantlement, missile limitations, and the halt of supporting militant groups in exchange for sanctions relief. Iran has since publicly rejected the proposal and issued its own counter demands, including reparations and authority over the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iranian officials are still reportedly reviewing the proposal, leaving the possibility open maybe that we can find a deal. Join me to discuss is retired Navy SEAL and chief talent officer at Overwatch Mission Critical, Mike C. Mike, thank you for being here, Steve.

Thanks for having me on.

[Steve Urick]

Let's go ahead and apply your experience here in the military. I don't see that Iran has won anything anywhere on the battlefield that including its air force, its navy. You've got more than 20 countries now crowding 30, I guess that are coming to help keep the state of Hormuz protected and oil flowing again. What is your take this at this point in the war in Iran?

[Mike C.]

Well, Steve, this is not going to end well for Iran. You just hit it. If you look at the scoreboard, it's about 5,000 to zero. They've been losing this. And the US military and Israel have done a just phenomenal job in the prosecution of this air campaign to blow them back to the 20th or 19th century. So the cards are not in their favor. And the demands, the recent demands they made are borderline ludicrous. But in keeping with classic Tehran style

[Steve Urick]

negotiations, correct me if I'm wrong, but no war has ever been won solely by by air power. And one of the concerns many Americans have is the idea of putting boots on the ground. Now you've got Marines and paratroopers coming in. They say, look, we're going in. What are your thoughts? Do we have to go in to finish this thing or can it be finished the way we started it from the air with massive bombardment and missile launches?

[Mike C.]

So, Steve, for us to force a regime change, personally, yes, we would have to put troops on the ground. You're 100% correct. You can't replace a regime from the air. However, can you decimate them and continue to remove leaders, continue to move their internal security apparatus in the hope that the people of Iran will rise up? That's another way of doing it. That is the less likely way. But what you see with President Trump in the activation of the 82nd Airborne Moving Thousands of Marines into the region is additional leverage within these new negotiations. But you said it earlier in your segment, the fact that we now have 30 countries that are finally raising their hand to assist with the security of the Strait of Hormuz, the cards continue to stack against Iran, these negotiations. Ultimately, what is Iran doing? They're buying more time.

[Steve Urick]

Midnight Hammer, the big operation last June obliterated much of the Iranian ability to produce Nuclear weapons. But now we're learning it was about 75% destroyed. So they still have some uranium in their possession. How do we take control of that, Mike? How do we get that material under the control of the United States or one of our allies without going in directly?

[Mike C.]

Steve? I don't think there's a possibility without going in directly. Now that's one of the key negotiation points within this 15 point plan is turning over the enriched uranium that they currently have, which I believe is around 440 kilograms. And then additionally they have to end or dismantle any enrichment facilities or machinery. But you know, unless we send special operations in, unlimited operations to gain physical custody and then get out of Iran, it's going to be very difficult to get this regime to turn that over.

[Steve Urick]

All right, so how do you see it playing out then? Look, predicting war is very difficult. These things take on a life of their own. Changes on the battlefield, logistics, intelligence, all of these things can change on a moment to moment basis. You well know that. So where do we go from here? What do you think the timeline is? Obviously Donald Trump does not want this to linger on. He campaigned on no forever wars. I don't see that happening here. I don't think there's going to be a forever war, but I don't think it's going to be another week or two. It seems to me, you know, it's in the details. The devil is always in the details. It might be 440 kg of enriched uranium. It might be the fact that in 2009 the Iranian Republican or Revolutionary Guard, I should say decentralized, they have one central place in all 31 provinces. That also makes it a bit more difficult to isolate that group. And where are those fighters? 600,000 strong, we were told at one time. Where have they dispersed to?

[Mike C.]

Well, Steve, you bring up a great point. They use a term called horizontal autonomy and they've dispersed their forces to make it harder for the US to eliminate them in one strike. But if you're asking me, if I was president for a day, here's what I would do with the the ground war. One, I would seize Carg Island. 90% of their oil exports go through that. And that is the financial jugular of this Iranian regime. Take control of it as well as Kesham. Kesham is more strategic in the security with regards to the security of the Straits of Hormuz. And ultimately if you take those two and there is risk in that, continue the bombardment campaign, the air dominance and just give our military forces time to eradicate this regime. And yes, in all this, there's political risk, especially so close to the midterms.

[Steve Urick]

Yeah. Let's focus on Kharg island for a moment. The majority of the Iranian oil goes to China. They need that oil, especially after Venezuela got taken out of the loop for them. They've been pinched not once, but twice in a few weeks when it comes to the oil they would bring into their country at a reduced rate, I might add. So it's impactful to the Chinese economy. Can Beijing potentially play a role here in bringing this to a close in the near future?

[Mike C.]

Well, it is economic survivability for China. Any negotiations pertains to that. But Steve, if we look at the subsequent nature of what President Trump has done here, first Venezuela releasing that oil into the market, now Iran. He's essentially robbed China of discounted sanctioned oil. China is in a hurt locker. They don't have the power or energy to fuel their production and their manufacturing, and they're feeling that pain. So of everyone, this has impacted Russia and China the most.

Well, they May want to slow the roll after they realize just how unpopular they really are. CNN's data analyst Harry Anton reported on a Quinnipiac University poll showing their approval rating lower than the Dead Sea. Yeah, that's what he said. Check it out.

How are voters feeling about Democrats right now?

[Steve Urick]

Yeah, I mean, Democrats in the minds of the American public are lower than the Dead Sea. What are we talking about here? Well, let's take a look. The net approval rating for Democrats in Congress. You said it, Kate Baldwin. The lowest ever. Look at this. Overall, they are 55 points underwater. Their approval rating is south of 20%. It's even worse when you look at independents. Look at this. Negative 61 points. That means that their approval rating is 61 points lower than their disapproval rating. Quinnipiac has been polling this question for the better part of the 21st century. They have never found Democrats, at least those in Congress, in worse shape than they are right now. Wow. How's that victory lap going? The Democrats have such low approval ratings because they try to impose their will and their ideas on the American people. And frankly, I think most people are just kind of sick of it. A good example is this how an animal rights group of activists in Oregon, they're trying to criminalize. Now listen to this. They're trying to criminalize an outlaw. Hunting, fishing, farming, ranching, even pest control. You know, like having a mousetrap. Dead serious. I'm not making this one up. The sad part is that it might actually make the ballot. But what would you expect from deep blue Oregon? Look what they've got there. It's called the Peace act, and it will remove all exemptions for hunting, fishing, farming. So if you raise animals and slaughter animals, that would be a crime. You go hunting in the fall with your kid, that would be a crime. You catch a fish crime. And yes, like I said, setting a mousetrap would be a crime. Only in deep blue Oregon could you possibly see that come to pass. It's unbelievable. We're gonna have a guest on that sometime soon because we've gotta have it figured out. They need 117,000 signatures to get it to the ballot. They have over 100,000 now. It'll probably make the ballot. And in Oregon, well, all bets are off. You wouldn't think that would pass with a sane group of voters. But again, it's Oregon. Now, think about this. I need to be healthy every day to survive it and go through the next chemo round and the next chemo round. So it's important that work was part of that to keep my mind busy for eight, nine hours and then I had to go back and face the reality. I had a goal and the goal is to survive. Well, federal officials say Los Angeles county has become the epicenter of a massive Medicare fraud scheme involving hospice and home health companies. The alarming part is that CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz is estimating losses in the billions. That's right, billions. LA county now has roughly 1800 hospice agencies, far more than expected for its elderly population. And hundreds of them have triggered warning signs for more fraud. State records show 89 hospice companies registered to a single three story office building. 89, one building, many sharing staff or business connections. You know, you can just smell it. It's not right. Joining me to discuss is the CEO for the alliance for IRS Accountability, Chuck Flint. Chuck, we talked about it in the break. It seems all we talk about is fraud anymore. But with so much of it around and some of it, so much of it so appalling, you can't help but say, what is going on here? 89, one building. How is that even possible?

[Chuck Flint]

Well, Steve, there's actually another report now that says there is 100, there are 197 in one location. But what makes this so bad is that Dr. Oz has said the CMAS administrator that it's three and a half billion in fraud that's under investigation. So it's not total fraud, but that's the total amount of money that's under investigation. But what is really so terrible about this is that people knew In March of 2022, the California State Auditor issued a report to Governor Newsom and the state legislature warning about this exact thing, talking about excessive clustering of hospice organizations at single locations and also listed several other fraud indicators. They've known about it for four years and they've done absolutely nothing.

[Steve Urick]

Well, maybe they need the votes. I mean, let's just get down to it. What is the reason behind it? Are there votes involved? Is there something else happening here? Because no public servant would knowingly sit there and watch us go on year after year. But we saw it in Minneapolis and Minnesota. We're seeing it in California. I mean, what's the real explanation? What's the rest of the story, Chuck?

[Chuck Flint]

That's what we have to find out with the investigation, Steve. And frankly, it doesn't make any sense. Even the most mundane government bureaucrat would notice 197 hospice organizations at the same address. They had 89 at another. You've had a 1500% increase in the number of hospice organizations in LA county alone from 2010 to 2016. It does not make any sense. These people are driving around in expensive sports cars. You look at some of the reporting done by Nick Shirley, which has been excellent. He also did some in Minnesota. People can see it, they don't understand it there. It's not something that is explainable.

[Steve Urick]

Yeah, yeah, here's what comes to mind. I think I'm about right on the math. Somebody can correct me if they want, but if I'm not mistaken, California is roughly seven times the population of Minnesota. Seven times. So when you start looking at fraud in California, it's going to be much larger. And if you go across the country, it's not going to be limited to just Minnesota and California. This is a systemic problem throughout this country and the states. They're a nice mark, they're a nice target, but the federal government a much bigger mark for fraud. So as this continues to roll out, I think that the numbers are going to be staggering. Your thoughts?

[Chuck Flint]

They are. One thing I would say about California though is that the hospice fraud is primarily centralized in just LA County. So LA county is big, but that is a narrow area for them to go ahead and concentrate on. Listen, the way that they're going to get to a better system here, you have to have better guardrails on the front end with vetting that keeps people from getting in the door. Because what they do is they engage in something called stacking is what these fraudsters do. They create multiple entities. If their billing privileges get stripped, well then they simply keep going with some of the others. And then on the back end you have to have the oversight, which in this case actually did happen. As I mentioned, the California state auditor put the state Governor Newsom in the legislature on notice of this, an 87 page report four years ago.

[Steve Urick]

You know, I know obviously you're the CEO of the alliance for IRS Accountability, but one of the ways you can take down criminal operations is by using IRS laws. I mean that's how they brought down the gangsters in Chicago in the 1930s. They went after them with the IRS because they were able to say, look, you're committing tax free fraud. Maybe we can't catch you on the fraud here, but you got all this money you can't account for, right? Here it is, here's all this money. Are there different ways we should be thinking to get to the bottom of this and actually hold people accountable.

[Chuck Flint]

There are. For when you have nonprofits involved, we would always say strip the tax exempt status. They're not legitimate nonprofits. If they're not fulfilling some type of a charitable mission. You can look into money laundering. You can look at tax evasion. There are a number of things that you can look at depending on the facts and circumstances.

[Steve Urick]

And if they're not legit nonprofits, boy, the penalties, the interest, the taxes that have to be paid can be really painful at that point. I'll give you the last word.

[Chuck Flint]

Oh, absolutely. And they have to have an all of the above approach. This problem is industrial scale fraud. And taxpayers, rightfully so, are just so upset because there's been no accountability. We saw no accountability in Minnesota. We've seen none in California. And I would argue that California is worse because they've known. Gavin Newsom has known about this problem for four years. Four years they did nothing about it. It's just completely unacceptable. Americans, they have. It's just not something that people can comprehend. It's at such a large scale.

Yeah. Industrial scale fraud. I think it's a good way to put it. Chuck, always nice to see you. Thank you for stopping in.

Larry Roden of South Dakota requires public schools there and the health classes to teach how a baby develops in the womb. Thank you. Yes, Baby Olivia is a beautiful animated view of a baby growing in their mother's womb. It shows the beauty of fetal development. And it's so important because young people are deceived today into thinking that a baby in the womb, a preborn child, is nothing more than A clump of cells or tissue. Even today, I had someone on social media tell me that a preborn baby is nothing more than a parasite. And that is so disturbing to think of the ways in which people dehumanize human beings. So Baby Olivia is going to be shown to students all across South Dakota, as well as six other states. And this is going to make a strong impression upon them.

Now, look, parents know children don't become true parasites until they're teenagers, all right? So let's just dispel that myth. All right? So get that right off the table. But this has got to be impactful to the students when they see this and they see the development. And then it's not just a clump of cells anymore. They see it for what it is. A human being, right?

[Christina Marie Bennett]

Absolutely. A human being with a heartbeat. A human being who is growing every day and changing and developing, and a human being that is worthy of protection. And I think it's so important that young people are getting this message. This is not something that I got. Growing up in Connecticut, we didn't have this type of information presented to us. And so I'm grateful that the governor signed into law this legislation that Baby Olivia videos are going to be seen by so many students.

So you mentioned you get pushback on social media and elsewhere. I can only imagine you get some other spiteful emails as well, because people don't want you out there with Baby Olivia saying, look, of the beauty of life, of God's creation. They don't want you to share that because all of a sudden, you've blown their myth away. So what is the pushback you get?

[Christina Marie Bennett]

You're absolutely right. We continually get pushback. People saying that we manipulated the video or that it's not accurate science. And I want people to know that they can go take a look, take a look themselves. Go to liveaction.org go to our YouTube channel. Look at Baby Olivia. You will see the names of medical professionals and doctors OB GYNs listed who helped us to put together this wonderful informational video. But of course, people are threatened because they don't want people to know the reality of human life, that it's a human being in the womb. That hurts Planned Parenthood's business, that hurts the abortion industry's business, because they profit off of people's ignorance, and they profit off of deception and manipulation. And so it hurts them when we share the truth.

Yeah. Do you provide this video to schools anywhere in the country? And do you charge for it? Is it free?

[Christina Marie Bennett]

It's free of charge, and any schools can see it. But now there's seven states that have actually made it a part of their law into legislation that their students are going to see as a part of their health curriculum. But in addition to that, anyone can go on YouTube and see it. Pregnancy resource centers use it. Sidewalk counselors in front of abortion clinics use it. Teachers use this in private and Christian Catholic schools. So it's really available to the public. People can go and watch it Today on our YouTube channel.

All right, seven states. What's your vision? What's your goal? What are you looking for? You've got seven. That's a good start. 43 that are not on board. How do you get there?

Well, we don't despise the day of small beginnings like the scriptures say. And we, we don't quit. We just keep on going. I know that some states, like my state of Connecticut, are harder because they're more pro abortion. So they're threatened by, unfortunately, the beauty of fetal development. But we keep on trying. We, we have a lawmaker summit where we work with lawmaker across the country, pro life legislators. And they come and we educate them, we talk to them about Baby Olivia and we help them to have the courage to put forth legislation that would allow it to come into their schools.
