This is America's Voice live. And welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Urick. The pulse of the people. We need somebody that's going to hear the people's voice, the truth the mainstream won't touch. This guy is by definition a globalist. And the stories that matter, Rav's own Ben Berklam. Right up over this hill, we got a little cartel.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
I see him. I see him. I see him.
Steve Urick
Live. Breaking news right now here on Real America's Voice.
Congressman Gabe Evans
Filtered.
Steve Urick
These people are domestic terrorists and unapologetic. We're here to take a stand for God and country. Does feel good. America's Voice Live starts now. Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Gura. It is Wednesday, the 15th of October, in the year of our Lord 2025. Let's go to the day's top stories. As always, thank you for spending time with us here in Real America's Voice. We truly appreciate your patroness. Thanks to the Democrat Party, frustration is mounting among House and Senate Republicans after eight failed attempts now, eight to reopen the government. A ninth attempt coming by the end of the day, we're told. I'll bring Congressman Gabe Evans of Colorado on to discuss the logjam. Also, the Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments today in a case centered around Louisiana, using race as a factor when drawing redistricting maps. Some fear this could weaken protections under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. More details on that today as well. And then later, it's been revealed that congressional investigators had collected and mapped data on 30 million phone lines of conservatives who had ties to the White House. All without consent, of course. What's more is that data was offered to the FBI for the January 6 probe. All that and more coming your way. But first, we start with the Democrats. They said he couldn't make a difference. They said President Trump would be stuck in gridlock, undone by Washington's red tape. They scoffed at his ambition. But here and now, we stand witness to a presidency that is rewriting the expectations. The skeptics are shrinking, the doubters are stuttering, and Trump himself is defying the scripts written for him. The most recent case in point, the 20 point plan for peace in Gaza. After two long years of bloodshed, the left hounded Biden for years to get it done. And they never imagined that Trump, who they call a hothead and worse, could bring about the fabled ceasefire, free hostages and stabilize a region long mired in endless cycles of violence. Yet that is exactly what we're witnessing. A deal painstaking and born not of weakness or appeasement, but of leverage, resolve and a clear eyed strategy. The very shock of seeing Donald Trump historically caricatured as a disruptor, playing the role of peacemaker in the Middle East. This upsets the narrative. Now many who dismissed him as reckless are actually having to admit they were wrong here.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
For example, listen, Bob's a Democrat in Alpine, California.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
Bob.
Sam Mirajofsky
Yeah.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
You know I've been very critical of Donald Trump over both of his presidencies in terms of his policies here domestically. But I have to give him credit for this incredible operation because there's, you can imagine how difficult it is to get all of these countries on the same page. And they even mentioned Indonesia was going to be participating in what they're calling a peace council.
Steve Urick
A peace council. California Democrats praising Donald Trump is pretty much like pigs flying. I never thought I'd see the day. How about you? Even Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton have begrudgingly giving Donald Trump the credit he deserves. You know who didn't? The ever divisive Barack Obama who took to social media to wax on and on about the peace deal without ever mentioning President Trump at all. You know you messed up really badly when even your fans over at CNN can't defend your actions. Listen to this.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
President Obama put out this post talking about the peace deal and the prospects of it and Don Jr responded to it.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
I'll finish it for you.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
The thank you, Donald Trump. Honestly, it's not unfair to say if President Obama is going to write a whole post about a peace deal, maybe he should acknowledge the president that brokered it.
Steve Urick
Maybe you're darn right he should. Hell must have frozen over if CNN was agreeing with Don Jr. Over Barack Obama on anything. But that's just how monumental this presidency has been so far. It's changing even the most. Never Trump dead set minds. Gaza, just the latest example. President Trump has been the key piece to ending over eight wars at this point, the message has broken through. America is pivoting from endless war to negotiated peace. From perpetual missions to purposeful exit strategies. No more being dragged into conflicts without clear endgames in mind. The world is seeing now that Trump, not the career diplomats or the perpetual war faction, is calling the shots. It's why the Prime Minister of Pakistan Pakistan said the world will remember President Trump as a man of peace and is nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize. Here he is today again.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
I would like to nominate this great president for Nobel Peace Prize because I genuinely feel that he is the most genuine and most wonderful candidate for peace prize because he has brought not only peace in South Asia, saved millions of people their lives. And today, here in Sharm El Sheikh, achieving peace in Gaza is saving millions of lives in the Middle East.
Steve Urick
Saving millions of lives in the Middle East. I'd like to send that one out to all the critics who claim that Trump is in Bibi Netanyahu's back pocket. Doesn't look like it now, does it? But I digress. Barack Obama dropped over 26,000 bombs in a single year, in one year on Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan, all without congressional approval. Donald Trump, meanwhile, ended eight wars in nine months. You tell me who deserves a Nobel Peace Prize? The world stage has been changed for the better. But here at home, America is no less transformed. Washington, D.C. a city once infamous for parts of the Capitol becoming lawless war zones. Now feeling the presence of law and order again. Trump has re established law and order there, restoring authority in the shadow of our monuments. Memphis, too, once emblematic of urban decline and crime, has seen a reset. The crackdowns, the pushbacks, the reassertion of law enforcement. These are not photo ops. They are the spine of a president determined that the United States cities must be safe again, that American citizens deserve peace in their streets, that the decay of civic order stops and reverses now. It's just too hard to be a hater these days. That's what this Memphis resident is finding out. Listen to this.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
I ain't gonna lie, bro. I think it's true. Time I was against all. Pretty much everything that was coming to. I was against his National Guard, all these different police units, all this military, all this. I was against all this, right? But I would be lying if I ain't just read them numbers and say, damn, that's a good thing for Memphis. So I'm out of this, y'.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
All.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
I ain't got no more commentary on this national being here.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
The police over police.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
I ain't got say to that, bro. Because it's kind of hard for me to say they doing us wrong when they really getting convicted murderers.
Sam Mirajofsky
Ed.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
Fellas with guns off the street, bro.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
I don't.
Steve Urick
You got it, bruh. Whether it's crime in Memphis or D.C. or calling Antifa for what it is, a terrorist organization, people are coming back to common sense when they can take a deep breath of relief over public safety. Very basic. This reporter says it's completely cured her. Trump Derangement Syndrome, or tds. Listen to this comment I'm going to.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
Tell too, anyway, because it's relevant to.
Steve Urick
What we're talking about.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
I'm living proof that you can recover from tds. I had strong Trump derangement syndrome for probably eight years. It's the one. This is one of the reasons I recovered from it.
Steve Urick
And by the way, it's much better.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
To not have tds. I'm happier, I'm healthier, more successful. I even think I got a little.
Steve Urick
More attractive after I got rid of.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
My Trump derangement suit.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
Yes.
Steve Urick
It'S good stuff, isn't it? The pundits and left wing politicians have lost the battle. You just can't convince anyone of a sound mind that taking murderers and criminals off the streets is a bad thing. How could they even argue that? It's the same with our southern border. Decades of debates, talk after talk, bill after bill, plan after plan. And yet the southern border remained porous, a symbol of lost control for this great country. But under Trump's renewed presidency, that barrier becomes a frontier again. Walls, manpower, surveillance, zero tolerance, decisive deportations were needed. These aren't gestures. They are policy with teeth. The moment when migrants, smugglers, drug cartels all learn that the era of negligent borders is over. Well, that's a huge shift. And it changes how voters see safety, sovereignty and trust in executive power. Mainstream outlets are just now realizing what a difference strong leadership actually makes. This NBC News reporter utterly shocked when she finds out after hours of on the border herself. Well, there's nobody coming across. Here she is.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
We've been out here half the day now. Haven't seen a soul. We patrolled the river, haven't seen anyone there either. What we're seeing and what we're hearing from the Border Patrol chief and the agents on the ground here is that.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
Anyone who crosses now is arrested, prosecuted.
Unidentified Commentator/Caller
And turned back over into Mexico. You simply cannot cross through here anymore and claim asylum. No matter what your claim is.
Steve Urick
What your claim? I guess some people got to see it, to believe it. And they're all believing it now. At least the ones that are not blinded by TDS any longer. Trump does not rest only on defense. He also redefines what American strength looks like in the modern world, including through green energy and clean energy. Yes, believe it or not. Take this new solar pant, a brand new solar plant in New Iberia, Louisiana. Green New Dealers should applaud President Trump for delivering American made green energy. Here it is.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
First Solar, an American.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
Company busily finishing a build out of.
Unidentified Caller/Participant
Its newest solar panel plant.
Steve Urick
All 2.4 million square feet of it. Truly an American made product.
Unidentified Listener/Caller
100% American made product. This is American innovation, American technology, American manufacturing, American labor, American supply chain.
Steve Urick
American labor, American energy, American supply chain. This is the kind of energy independence we should all celebrate. Not foreign oil dependence, not vague green promises, but a real built in America answer to carbon jobs exports. When the Rust Belt sees solar panels made in the USA in states like Louisiana, it changes minds. Energy can be patriotic, local, high paying good news. Trump's administration insisted on made in America products, smashing the lie that green must be foreign or weak or un American. Wrong. Trump defies expectations, however you look at it. I look at all his critics, jaws dropping, scrambling to fit their narratives. Is he a hawk or a dove? Is he populist or establishment? Is he bully or statesman? Their confusion reveals their weakness, their inability to imagine a leader who delivers this kind of change without fitting their narrative or their mold. So yes, the Gaza peace deal was the headline, but it's just the latest. Because when the world sees Trump stabilizing a major conflict, American cities returning to order, the border lockdown in energy independence, even some who were sworn opponents must pause and take notice. What does this presidency tell you? That expectations are overrated. That the media narrative can be wrong over and again. That voters, when shown results, can shift. That a leader who promises change can actually deliver on it. Trump is rewriting the playbook. Not just campaigning, but governing. Not just tearing down, but building, not just restoring, but renewing and reinventing. And in doing so, he's coaxing moderate hearts, unsettling skeptics, and proving what many of us always believe, that with resolve, audacity and vision, he can change not only policy, but hearts and minds. Coming up after the break. After multiple failed attempts to reopen the government, the Democrats government shutdown continues as growing concerns linger over the November 21st deadline. I'll bring on Congressman Gabe Evans of Colorado next to discuss. Well, with no end in sight to the government funding stalemate and partial shutdown, frustration growing among House and Senate Republicans who warn time is running out before Washington hits yet another Democrat driven government shutdown, this one more robust Senate Democrats have now blocked the GOP short term funding bill eight times. Eight times. Expected to do it again later today. The Republican proposal would have kept the government open through November 21, buying Congress more time to negotiate a full year budget, which is what a continuing resolution allows for. The Democrats repeated refusals have cut that window down to barely five weeks. All while Americans brace for more uncertainty fueled by partisan obstruction in The United States Senate. There have been hints that the deadline of November 21st could be postponed, but we'll have to wait and see. Hear me today to discuss Congressman Gabe Evans. He represents Colorado's 8th congressional district. Congressman, thank you for being here.
Congressman Gabe Evans
Happy to be on with you.
Steve Urick
All right, so November 21st, if I'm understanding this right, that would be a bigger lockdown, a bigger shutdown. Am I understanding this properly?
Sam Mirajofsky
Yeah.
Congressman Gabe Evans
So that November 21st deadline came about because Congress, when it's functioning the way it should, is supposed to pass 12 separate appropriations bills. And so the Appropriations Committee are negotiating those bills right now. We haven't done that for decades, but it's the way it's supposed to work. And that November 21st deadline was what the appropriators were saying. This is the amount of time that we need to actually go back to regular order, fund the government the way it's supposed to be funded, rather than all of these omnibus packages and continuing resolutions. And so that was where the seven week continuing resolution came from. And make no mistake, this is a clean continuing resolution. So that means no backroom deals, no no, you know, secret programs or partisan anything. This is just continuing the status quo. Democrats voted for this 13 times under Joe Biden. They're not voting for it now. And that's why we're in our third week of a government shutdown.
Steve Urick
So where do we go from here? The Democrats are going to reject it again for the ninth time later today. That's pretty well figured out. And they're arguing over health care. Look, Obamacare has not worked. The Affordable Care act didn't do two things. It didn't create affordability and didn't care for anybody. It was an insurance scheme. That's what it was. It hasn't worked. In fact, I would say it was a bridge to single payer health care in America. That was the intention. And because it's failing without subsidies from the American taxpayer, they're driving us into this corner of a system that really doesn't work well in many countries around the world. Is that accurate?
Congressman Gabe Evans
I think you only have to look around and ask folks whether or not health care costs have gone up or down, whether or not the bureaucracy and the red tape around getting health care has gone up or down. And a huge part of that has been how Democrats run it. This isn't conjecture. They actually put this in writing as their counter proposal to the Republican funding plan. They said they wanted $1.5 trillion of additional deficit spending for a bunch of partisan handouts. To include 192 billion DOL going back to illegal immigrants via taxpayer funds. This isn't conjecture. This is on page 57 of their counterproposal. They propose to undo all of the guardrails and the reforms that Republicans made which again includes $192 billion of taxpayer funds that the Democrats want to go back to illegal immigrants. That's a non starter. These are non serious things that the Democrats are asking for. But unfortunately their far left is the tail wagging the dog right now.
Steve Urick
Well, here's the thing. Anybody who would sit and look at the federal government and believe, well there's nobody's getting, you know, things that they shouldn't get, things they don't deserve, things they're not entitled to. Anybody that would look at the government think that these people are getting things they're not entitled to? Look, it happens every day for citizens and non citizens alike. I mean to believe there's no fraud, that's just a little myopic, isn't it?
Congressman Gabe Evans
Oh, we, we all know that there's fraud, waste and abuse in the government. You know, I spent 12 years working in the, in the US army and I saw things there that just were absolute head scratchers. And I would assert that the, the Department of War is one of the most well run organizations within the federal government. And so we know there's fraud, waste and abuse that occurs in the military, that occurs in other places. And so being able to get rid of that, cut that out, go back to putting Americans first, putting taxpayer first and doing things like cutting $192 billion that we're going to illegal immigrants, taxpayer funds for health care. That's not a, that's a non starting request from the Democrats. We're not going to go back to doing that.
Steve Urick
Yeah. Let me ask you about something else. I see the state of Indiana, the state of North Carolina, others considering redistricting to add more Republican seats. This in response to what's happening in California where Gavin Newsom says he's defending democracy by trying to make it so less than 10% of the state is represented by Republicans. What do you think about that in Indiana, North Carolina, maybe Missouri to try to balance the scales. Right path or wrong?
Congressman Gabe Evans
Well, I mean you hit half the statistic I was going to bring up, which is you've got about 40% of the electorate in California that's Republican and the Democrats have already gerrymandered. They've gerrymandered. You look at the Northeast, you look at California, you look at places like Illinois, you have a significant percentage. Minority percentage, but a significant percentage. In California, it's about 40% of the electorate is Republicans. Right now, it's somewhere around only 20%. I think it's slightly less than 20% of California representatives in Congress are Republican, and Gavin's proposing to take that down to 10%. So if we're going to talk about gerrymandering, the Democrats have gerrymandering for decades. That's why you get situations like California where 40% of the Republicans have very little voice. You look at New England, where, I mean, it's hard to find an elected Republican from New England, even though you've got, again, a significant percentage of Republican voters in New England, Democrats have already deprived them of the voice. And now that Republicans are saying, well, if this is how the game is played now, Democrats, of course, are throwing a bit.
Steve Urick
Yeah, and the last thing on voter integrity and so forth. The Supreme Court's going to hear a case from Louisiana on a key Voting Rights act provision and whether or not states will be allowed to continue making congressional districts based on race. My guess is they're going to strike that down. Last word to you. What do you think?
Congressman Gabe Evans
Well, we know that there's a lot of things we need to do to make sure that we actually have confidence in our voting system. Again, look no further than what happened in the state of Colorado where our Secretary of State, who oversees our elections, tried to kick the President off the ballot. We had a unanimous Supreme Court decision reversing that. How often does the Supreme Court rule? Unanimously. They ruled unanimously in this case. Our Secretary of State here in Colorado accidentally sent out tens of thousands of voter registration cards to non citizens. So we have to make sure that we're taking a close look not just at the, you know, the policies, the procedures and the equipment that's used, but we have to look at the people that are running these, these shops because you can have the best policies and procedures in place. But if you've got somebody like our current Secretary of State who is, you know, working overtime to try to skirt around the edges of what the law actually says, you know that's going to drag down voter confidence in elections.
Steve Urick
It certainly is. Congressman, I'm shocked because the Democrats tell me that it's not legal for illegal aliens to vote, it would never happen. I'm wrong about that, too.
Congressman Gabe Evans
They also say they can't get health care funded by the taxpayers. But we have the numbers there. $192 billion. The Republicans said, no, that's not going to go to illegal immigrants and they want it back.
Steve Urick
Congressman, thank you for being here today. Look forward to talking to you again.
Sam Mirajofsky
Thanks.
Steve Urick
All right. Up after the break, the Supreme Court to hear oral arguments today in that case centered around Louisiana's use of race, as we just mentioned. Is it going to be a factor in redrawing maps? Some fear this could weaken the Voting Rights Act. We'll talk about it next. Well, this case is a big deal. And protesters gathered outside the Supreme Court as they heard oral arguments in Louisiana versus Calais wrapping up shortly after 11 o' clock this morning. Focusing on whether Louisiana's redistricting violated the Constitution. The court examined whether mandating a second majority black district under the Voting Rights act violates the 14th or 15th amendments by prioritizing race over equal protection. Louisiana's original map had only one district where black voters were the majority. Black residents make up about one third of the state. The state say drew a new map creating a second majority black district. And Democrats say this ensures black voters have a fair chance to elect Canada they choose. Republicans argue the map was drawn based solely on race, which is unconstitutional racial gerrymandering, it's illegal. The Supreme Court will now decide whether this prioritization of race is legal. Conservatives say it enables unconstitutional racial gerrymandering favoring Democratic seats, while Democrats say it could weaken the Voting Rights Act. Louisiana's two majority black districts could be at risk, potentially changing the 2026 election maps, a decision expected by June of next year. By the way, if this is applied across the country, it could mean Republicans pick up 12 more seats in the House, 12 because other states would be required to follow the law as well. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear Hickox v. Little, a case involving Lindsay Hecox, a former Boise State cross country student and transgender athlete. Hickox sued after Idaho's 2020 fairness and women's Sports act banned him from participating in women's sports. Hickax attempted to withdraw the case after a five year battle that started in 2020, claiming he would no longer be playing in women's sports at Boise State. Therefore, it was moot. But U.S. district Judge David Nye denied the request earlier this week, calling it a manipulative attempt to avoid Supreme Court review, writing that Hickok's mootness argument should not be endorsed. The Supreme Court agreed to hear the case in July. Attorneys general from 27 states in Guam have signed an amicus brief supporting Idaho, arguing for fair competition based on biological reality. SCOTUS will decide whether states can legally exclude transgender women from women's sports. That's men, of course, and how Title 9 of the Constitution apply to transgender athletes. We'll keep an eye on that one as well. The Israeli government is now outraged after a forensic examination revealed that one of the bodies Hamas returned by way of the Red Cross was not an Israeli hostage. Hamas agreed to return the bodies of 28 hostages who died or were murdered in captivity. In addition to the final 20 living hostages, only four bodies were delivered on Monday, four more on Tuesday, one of which was a Gazan. A spokesperson for the Prime Minister's office confirmed the body was not a hostage, reiterating Israel will not compromise on Hamas commitment. Israel accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire by withholding the last of the 21 deceased hostages. This is not the first time Hamas returned the wrong body in February. One was also a Palestinian. Israel has refused to reopen the Rafah crossing to Egypt, blocking aid in response to Hamas's non compliance. President Trump has also warned Hamas the US will forcefully disarm Hamas if it continues to to delay. We'll see what happens there. China has now escalated persecution of underground Christian churches and detained nearly 30 pastors and members over the weekend. More than 20 are still imprisoned. The detained are accused of illegally using information networks and sharing unlicensed religious content online. New regulations introduced in April heavily restrict digital religious activities, banning livestream sermons, using AI for faith related content and engaging with minors online. The CCP you see, is strategically targeting the post Covid growth of unregistered independent house churches. These new rules reflect China's forceful assimilation of Chinese culture, a policy where churches, temples and mosques are controlled and licensed by the CCP and must incorporate Communist Party doctrine into their services, Breitbart reporting this as the most severe CCP religious persecution in 40 years or more. Coming up after the break, I'll discuss the latest revelations from the January 6 probe, this time concerning 30 million conservative phone lines being harvested. More on that after the break.
Congressman Gabe Evans
Wow.
Steve Urick
More about January 6th. Again today, New details being revealed in which those in power at the time were trying to do everything to get a conviction from those who were present. Well, now it's been revealed that congressional investigators had collected and mapped metadata of 30 million phone lines of conservatives who had any ties to the White House, all without consent, of course. And what's more that this data was offered to the FBI for their January 6 probe, Operation Arctic Frost, headed by Jack Smith, the now infamous Jack Smith saw the direct tapping and tracking of at least eight or more GOP members of Congress. But this latest revelation makes that look like child's play and raises concerns over what Congress can get away with if their power just goes unchecked. Here with me to discuss is the host of the what's Right show, Sam Mirajofsky. Sam, nice to see you today. These numbers are staggering. I look, I think it's a total of 12 members of Congress. Now, it depends on who you ask. It's kind of doesn't matter if it's one senator or two or five or ten. It's too many. And now all of this 30 million lines of phone data collected in this probe, by whom for what purpose and to what end?
Sam Mirajofsky
Well, I mean, Steve, it's starting to seem like they just wanted any kind of excuse to spy on Republicans. I mean, it's only Republicans that got targeted here. And you're right, it is 30 million plus lines of phone data and it's all communications between Trump, Trump's allies, conservatives in the media. This is just scandalous. And the most important thing, of course, it's turning out now it was all based on lies. The predicate for this was, was a, was completely bogus. So I think it's starting to, this is going to start to unravel quick for the Democrats. And I think there's some, some legal problems they're going to find themselves in.
Steve Urick
Now, what about the January 6th committee, the select Committee, as they call it, although there were only two alleged Republicans on that committee, both of whom have, you know, left Congress in disgrace, really, in my estimation, because they they sold themselves, they sold their souls to the Democrats and didn't do anything to balance the scales as they should have done. There was never a balanced investigation. So now we got the investigation of the investigation. Jack Smith. And where does he come down in all of this, do you think?
Sam Mirajofsky
SAM well, I think there was a conspiracy to violate civil rights here by a broad number of people. And that's, you know, that's 18 USC 241. That's a big, big problem for them. The question here will be the people always ask me, what about the pardons, right? Everybody got pardoned here. And the way, you know, the way the pardons will get tested, my opinion is, is is if there are charges filed, then everybody who was covered by one of these supposed pardons going to come forward and say, hey, I got this pardon here, you know, I got pardon. And then the issue of whether those pardons hold muster, if they are considered to be legit, you know, that's going to get legally tested. So this is going to be a long process. Now, not everybody's covered by the pardons, of course. So, you know, there are people outside of the, you know, outside of the pardons that can be that could be charged here. But, you know, I think there's a, you know, deprivation of rights. That's another filing here that could happen. Official misconduct, abuse of office. That's another charge. You know, these are years of jail if you accumulate it. This is 10, 20, 30 years in prison if these people were to get convicted.
Steve Urick
Yeah, look, I don't think that an auto pen has the authority to issue pardons. A few million Americans feel the same way. An auto pen, look, run by the chief of staff, run by the chief of staff's, you know, second in command and a whole host of other people. They were not elected to do anything. They certainly were not elected to decide who got pardons and commutations and all that. I think that's a legal problem. It's a minefield, SAM it really is.
Sam Mirajofsky
Yeah. And you know, what really irritates me is when I hear the left running around talking about, you know, the current, you know, administration being presenting, you know, a minefield of, you know, of constitutional crises. The real constitutional crisis is who the hell was running the Biden administration and sorting that out, because this is unprecedented legal questions that are at play, and it's one of the things that this does is if we do open this can of worms, it's gonna go to the heart of presidential powers, and it puts at risk the presidential powers that our founders intended. And Biden and everybody around him that manipulated him is to blame for it. It's really scandalous, and it makes me mad.
Steve Urick
Yeah. Now, I don't think we should touch the presidential powers, but we should become crystal clear that the president has to sign that in person himself, with, you know, he can have advisors around him. He doesn't have to know the. The chapter and verse of every case. But to have a pretty good idea. You can't just have underlings deciding, well, here's a batch of 2,000. Here's a batch of 500. I mean, that's the obscene and absurd thing about it. It was hundreds at a time sometimes.
Sam Mirajofsky
Right.
Steve Urick
You don't even know who's going through. You don't know anything about any of them, right?
Sam Mirajofsky
No. And there seems to be evidence that Biden had no clue that this stuff was being done and that people were running stuff up to the auto pen across the street. No idea.
Steve Urick
Yeah, There's a lot of evidence that didn't. Joe Biden didn't know much about anything going on. See, I think that's pretty safe to say in retrospect. Anyhow, I'll give you the last word.
Sam Mirajofsky
No, I agree with you on all the. All these points, but, you know, the main issue here, there has to be accountability for what happened, because if there isn't, they'll do it again. And we can't. We can't allow.
Steve Urick
Right. If they get a chance to do it again, they'll do it again because they'll say, well, the president has been set. The precedent is that the auto pen's okay. No, it's really not. Hey, thanks for being here, as always.
Sam Mirajofsky
Pleasure, Steve. Thank you.
Steve Urick
All right, don't go anywhere. America's Voice Live will continue. We'll take a quick break. Be right back. Waiting for President Donald Trump to make an appearance at the White House and step to the microphone. He's doing that now. Let's join him.

The summer months have been a time when violent crime soar, as you know, but not under President Trump. Today we're announcing the results of a sweeping law enforcement effort known as Operation Summer Heat. We were in many cities that people didn't know about. We kept it a little quiet, and it had a big impact. And you'll hear that in a second. But over the past few months, FBI offices in all 50 states made crushing violent crime a top enforcement priority. That's what they did. Rounding up and arresting thousands of the most violent and dangerous criminals. And these are among the most dangerous and violent people in the world. They were allowed in many cases, not in all cases, but in many cases they were allowed in by a very foolish, actually stupid, open border policy. Just anybody could have come in. They emptied out their jails, their prisons, their mental institutions. They emptied them into our country. And the people behind me have done an incredible job, because if we didn't have that administration, it would have been so much easier. They allowed millions of people in this country that shouldn't have been allowed, including over 11,000 murderers, half of whom murdered more than one person. And many of them are gone now or they're put in prison because we don't want to have them come back. So we literally put them in our prison, which we don't want to do, but we bring them back to their countries. Working with state and local partners, the FBI arrested over 8,000 violent criminals during the course of this period. In major cities like in New Orleans, Nashville. We saw a 250% increase in arrests we got, and we really went after the bad ones. These include 725 individuals wanted for violent crimes against children and murderers. These arrests are in addition to the work of our historic federal task forces. That make D.C. safe task force has been unbelievable. I mean, the job they've done, it's incredible. And it's been so nice because so many people, they're going out to dinner and they're having dinners. They wouldn't. They didn't go out for four years, and now they're going out three times a week. Restaurants are opening, restaurants are full, and usually that means a lot of good things. But restaurants that were closed are now opening up, and everybody is happy. It's. Nobody has ever seen anything like it, actually. And everybody feels safe. You can. You can have a child walk right through the middle of Washington, D.C. and nothing is going to happen. We were losing more than one person a week in Washington. They were being killed on an average of over one a week. The Make DC Safe Task Force has been incredible, and the Make Memphis Safe Task Force is having very similar results. It's much earlier, but we've been there for a week and a half. But I'm hearing the results are pretty incredible. And you'll hear about that. They're mobilizing more than 20 federal agencies for the largest law enforcement operation targeting violent criminals in American history. As a result of These efforts, violent Crime declined nearly 20% nationwide compared to the same period last year. And it was the safest and most peaceful summer in two decades. And honestly, we haven't really even gotten going yet. If we didn't have to fight all of these radical left governors, we could have had Chicago taken care of as an example. They had, in a short period of time, 4,000 murders in Chicago. And we have to listen to this man stand up and say that we're bad people. And the people of Chicago are walking around with MAGA hats. You have women, beautiful black women, walking around with MAGA hats. Please let the President in. And we don't care how he does it. They're not interested in National Guard or Army. Navy, bring them in. Marines, bring in the Marines. They just want the crime to stop. And more so because of the success that we had in D.C. i think if we didn't have that success, nobody would even believe it. So I want to congratulate all of the incredible law enforcement professionals joining us today, especially Attorney General Pam Bondi. He's terrific. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who is a fantastic legal talent. He really is. He's a great guy, too. And of course, FBI Director Keshe Patel. They have worked so hard on this and other things. Since the start of the administration, the FBI has arrested over 23,000 violent criminals, more than double the number arrested in the final year of the Biden disaster. The FBI has also destroyed or severely disrupted more than 170 organized criminal enterprises and gangs, 1600 of the most violent gangs, and confiscated over 6,000 illegal firearms. And they've tracked down and arrested four fugitives on the most wanted list. Four of the most wanted. Actually, two of them were the most wanted fugitives in the world. There's still much more work to be done, which is why the FBI continues to work alongside the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of War to defend. And Pete Hegseth has been fantastic, by the way, on this, too. On other things, but on this, too. To defend law and order and combat violent crime, arrest illegal aliens and make American cities the safest in the world. And when I campaigned, I talked about crime, but I never knew that we were going to get into it like we did. You know, I mean, I used to watch these cities with the murders. Chicago recently had one deal where they had 11 murders in one weekend. And they said, well, yeah, but it was a holiday weekend. They actually told me that was the reason. Like, it was okay, because it was a holiday. It was labor Day. These people are the worst. They are. They really have to. They better. I tell you what, the people in Chicago and the people in places like that, that can be fixed. At some point it gets to where you can't fix it anymore. It's too far gone. And we have some cities like that, but these are great cities that can be fixed. I'm going to be strongly recommending, at the request of government officials, which is always nice, that you start looking at San Francisco. I think we can make San Francisco, there's one of our great cities 10 years ago, 15 years ago, and now it's a mess. And we have great support in San Francisco. So I'd like to recommend that for inclusion. Maybe in your next group you'll get great support. Every American deserves to live in a community where they're not afraid of being mugged, murdered, robbed, raped, assaulted or shot. And that's exactly what our administration is working to deliver. I didn't realize I was going to make this such a big factor in the administration. I didn't really campaign. I campaigned on crime. But I never thought we'd go into every city and take a really safe city that we've all been living with for years and make them safe. And now it's like a passion for me and it's a passion for the people behind me. So I didn't get elected. I did get elected for crime, but I didn't get elected for what we're doing. This is many, many steps above. And I want to thank Stephen Miller, who's right back in the audience right there. I'd love to have him. I love watching him on television. I'd love to have him come up and explain his true feelings, but maybe not his truest feelings. That might be going a little bit too far. But, Stephen, thank you for doing an unbelievable job. And the people of this country love you, I tell you, and they love what you say about crime and stopping crime. So now I'd like to ask Director. I'd like to ask Director Patel to say a few words. And then Pam and Todd also, and I just want to congratulate them. This is an amazing thing. And we're just at the start, we're going to go into other cities that we're not talking about purposely. We're getting ready to go in. And when they go in, like Cash, as an example, told me that people didn't even know five months ago, they went into Chicago and they started doing a lot of work in Chicago. And we brought the numbers down a little bit and, but that really was just preparatory work for what we're going to do with the surge. We're going to have a surge of strong, good people, patriots. And they're going to go in, they straighten it all out. So a lot of these cities we're already working on, but we don't do it with a big, a big flavor. But in a little while you're going to see some numbers that you're not going to believe. And I think you'll probably start with Memphis because I'm hearing the numbers are much quicker than we even thought possible. But again, DC is, it speaks for itself. Chicago is going to be okay. We're going to save Chicago. And I told you and I told them, a very respected man, the head of the Union Pacific said, sir, save Chicago, it can be saved. And the way he said it was like, can you believe it? We're trying to save Chicago. But I understood exactly what he wants and that's what we're going to do. We're going to save all of our cities and we're going to make them essentially crime free like other countries have crime free. If you go all over the world, you go to the war, you hear Afghanistan and you hear all these different places, our crime in certain cities is worse than anything they can even imagine. And we're not going to have that any longer. It's going to stop. And it stops right here. Cash, please. Thank you.

Mr. President. What I'd like to do is just highlight some of the outstanding work that the men and women of the FBI have been doing. And thanks to your brave leadership and the mandate you were given by the American people, not only defend the homeland, but crush violent crime. You tasked us with our great partners at the Department of Justice and the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General to start making arrests and bring prosecutions and safeguard our cities. And you said it. This is just the beginning. In just seven months, I hope the media takes look at every one of these charts because these are the best numbers for fighting crime in U.S. history. And it's only seven months in. And to do that, our vehicle to do it of choice was Operation Summer Heat, which the FBI architected to go after violent criminals. And in just a three month span, you had 8,700 arrests of violent criminals. You had 2200 firearms seized off the streets permanently to safeguard our country communities. You had 421 kilograms of fentanyl seized. Just to put that in perspective, that's enough to kill 55 million Americans alone. You had 45,000 kilograms of cocaine seized. And thanks to our Department of Justice partners, you had 2100 indictments in three months from June to September alone. Mr. President, that in and of itself would be historic for a four year presidency. You did that in seven months because you let good cops be cops. And you partnered us with the right people, the Department of Justice, to put the handcuffs on and bring them to court and put them in prison. And if that weren't enough, when you look at the year for the entire seven month period that we're talking about here, if you look at the past four years of the Biden administration. 16,000. 17,000. 15,000. 15,000. That's the number of arrests year over year of violent felons in this country for the Biden administration. Administration, administration. Mr. President, in seven months you have 27, 28,600 arrests of violent feminine in just seven months alone. Because of your leadership and the dedication of the men and women at the FBI who want to go out there and do the job they were prevented from doing because that department used to be weaponized and politicized. And this is what happens when you take out the fangs of weaponization. This number is historic. By every metric, 28 point thousand people have been arrested violent felons alone. And then when you go over there and look at some of these charts, if you don't mind, I'll just hop over here. Look at the metrics for not just violent crime, but the homeland. Mr. President, during your administration, the FBI has found and located 5,400 children. That is a 30% increase year to date over the last administration. Violent crimes against children arrest alone are up 10%. Gang arrests are up 210% in the last seven months alone. And transnational organized crime, which Stephen Miller has been a great partner in, is up over 12% alone. These numbers are historic. Just as a snapshot, but just so people don't think we're focusing on violent crime alone. The national security mission, Mr. President, or your leadership has never been stronger. We have gone after espionage activities against our main counterparts in China, Russia and Iran. In China alone, we've had over a 50% increase in espionage arrests alone and prosecutions. In Iran, we have had a 50% increase again in espionage cases. And in Russia, we've had a 33% increase in espionage cases alone. When it comes to counterterrorism, year to date, we have 125 arrests this year versus 100 last year, year to date alone. And when it comes to the cyber criminal activities which are some of the largest enterprises plaguing everyday Americans. We at the FBI have put out a mission to go after cyber criminals like never before. Last year they had in total 191. This year you already have 252 arrests. 52 arrests of violent cybercriminals who are still stealing from senior citizens, who are violating our children's rights and freedoms, and who are violating everyday Americans. These programs are record. And some of the two of the things I'll finish with, that I'm Most proud of, Mr. President, this FBI fentanyl. As you know, it's a scourge that is killing our youth. 100,000 plus a year to date, the FBI has seized 1,900 kilograms of fentanyl. That's enough lethal doses to kill 127 million Americans alone to date. And if that weren't enough, Mr. President, you said we have to go after the worst of the worst. And you empowered our Department of Justice, our Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and the Deputy Director at the FBI led the charge not just on Summer heat, but he also led the charge at the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. These people have been on the run for years. And in seven months, you captured not one, not two, not three, but four of the FBI's most top 10 fugitives. Four. And just to put that in perspective, Mr. President, the Biden administration captured four in all of four years. You're on seven. And we're going to get to 10. We're going to get to 10 of 10. This includes a lady who murdered her six year old handicapped child and fled to India. We got her in two months. This includes a narco trafficker. This includes a sex trafficker. This includes another first degree murderer and gang banger. These people were on the run because of the prior administration. Administration's reckless policies that destroyed our communities. And you came in and with a mandate said, go after the worst of the worst. This is just the beginning. This is what happens when you let good cops be good cops at the FBI. Mr. President, I just want to thank you for your incredible leadership, our brave partnership with prosecutors who know how to bring cases and make sure these arrests stick. And that's what the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General have led the charge across this country. Because arrests without prosecutions are meaningless. We are deterring criminals from doing this activity. We are preventing criminals from coming into America and we are absolutely crushing violent crime like never before. And defending this homeland, Sir. And not to mention, I almost forgot this one. It took you sir, two weeks to get the Abbey Gate bomber. Joe Biden had four years to look for him. You got him in two weeks thanks to the interagency effort by the FBI and the CIA went to Pakistan. And now 13 brave warriors who are were senselessly murdered because of disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. They have justice. Their families have a peace of mind. And we're going to continue to find the others. Mr. President, on behalf of the FBI, sir, I just want to thank you.

President Trump. The men and women of law enforcement say two things to me repeatedly. First, you have taken the handcuffs off them and let them do their jobs and you let cops be cops. That's why all this is happening. The director, the Deputy Director are working around the clock. All of these great men and women in the FBI, they have think about, they have families at home and they are working during a government shutdown right now. Many of them have small children. Many of them, I was talking to an agent this morning, many of them have babies at home and they are working around the clock to not only keep our country but, but our world safe. And that's what Operation Summer Heat did. Thank you, Director, and to the Deputy Director for everything you did on behalf of the Department of Justice. And you're going to continue to keep doing. And they set the stage for what we're doing in Memphis. You're going to hear a lot more about that. Our joint task force next week, but they set the stage for Memphis. And last night alone in Memphis, There were almost 70 arrests. There were 12 gun seized and there was a 70 year old man arrested as a result of our operation in Memphis who raped a child under the age of three. That one case makes everything we're doing worthwhile.
