Breaking news right now here on Real America's Voice. Unfiltered, these people are domestic terrorists and unapologetic. We're here to take a stand for God and country. Does feel good. America's Voice Live starts now. Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Steve Gura. It is Thursday 16th October, year of our Lord 2025. Let's get to the day's top stories. Thank you for joining me here on Real America's Voice today. I always appreciate you stopping in. Chicago continues to be a battleground for ICE agents as they continue their efforts to arrest and deport illegal aliens. And they just arrested an illegal alien working as a police officer in the suburbs of Chicago. I'll bring on Rav correspondent Ben Berkwam with this exclusive. It's unbelievable. Also, the G6 Unselect committee reportedly accessed data from over 30 million American phones, mapping calls between conservatives and the White House. Will there be any accountability? We'll talk about that today and then later. Liberty University is hosting its CEO summit, where faith driven students meet top executives, learn from leaders and build connections. A powerful example of faith and leadership coming together. Those details all coming your way, as well as an announcement from President Trump that could happen here during this hour. We'll go there live if it happens, of course. In the meantime, I want to begin with American energy dominance. President Trump is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the end of this month in South Korea for what will be the first time they've been together since 2019. And thanks to President Trump, we're making huge strides toward being less reliant on the communist regime than, well, than ever before. America roaring back to energy dominance under Trump's leadership. It's about time. We've got the greatest resources on the planet and now we're finally unleashing them without all the red tape and woke nonsense holding us back. Take that unleashing American energy executive order Trump signed on day one back in January 2025. Boom. It slashed those burdensome regulations, opened up federal lands for Drilling and put America first in producing affordable, reliable energy. The one big beautiful act has accomplished much of the same. Streamlining permits, funding pipelines, and getting rid of the green energy initiatives that wasted taxpayer dollars, billions of them. Your money. For example, General Motors currently nursing a $1.6 billion loss after the EV subsidy got chopped. Why? Because the electric vehicle market was completely created by government policy and propped up by your dollars once again. Now GM is significantly reducing manufacturing EVs, which is a huge about face from 2021, when General Motors said they were preparing to phase out gas burning vehicles altogether by 2035. I told you then if General Motors went down that road, they would be bankrupt by 2035. I was right. Trump has practically dismantled the Green New Deal. That's how the former EPA chief of staff sees it. Listen to this. $3.7 billion worth of funding cuts to clean energy operations. We're told that climate startups are pausing operations. Some are going bankrupt. Mandy, has Trump completely dismantled the green agenda?
Health Expert/Commentator
Yeah, absolutely. And he said he was going to. And you have to think about these startups. It's not like they were bringing some great new technology to the energy market that was going to change life for the everyday Americans, for the government subsidized ideas that really did little in the way of making electricity affordable and reliable, which is the priority of President Trump. And he understood getting rid of the Green New scam and all of the affiliated interest alongside that was really important for getting back to the business of developing the resources of which we've been abundantly blessed, investing in new technologies that are actually going to deliver more energy at an affordable rate. And that's what he's doing.
Steve Guru
And that's exactly what he's doing. Now compare that to Sammy Joe Biden's disaster of an energy policy. Under Biden, it was all about appeasing the radical left with their electric car fantasies and windmill obsessions. While shutting down pipelines and banning new leases on federal lands. He drove up gas prices and inflation, made us beg OPEC for oil and left us vulnerable to foreign dictators. And he was proud of it. Remember? Watch this. Are you ready to commit to the.
Spinquest/Mint Mobile/Public Rec Advertiser
Responsible phase out of fossil fuel production.
Leon Neyfak
As part of your administration?
Field Reporter/Correspondent
We gotta go to zero emissions, man. Zero emissions. Zero emissions. And we can.
Ben Berkwam
It's within our wheelhouse.
Spinquest/Mint Mobile/Public Rec Advertiser
The answer is yes. The answer is yes.
Steve Guru
Yeah. Think how much farther along we could have been if it hadn't been those terrible policies under Joe Biden. But Trump, he flipped the script. Drill, baby, drill. We're seeing an uptick in drilling in the Gulf of Mexico like never before, with production set to climb in 2025 and 2026, adding hundreds of thousands of barrels a day. And look at Alaska's new LNG pipeline construction kicking off next year. In 2026, folks, this beast will ship liquefied natural gas from the North Slope to the tune of 3.5 billion cubic feet of gas every single day. Pretty remarkable. It's going to do good for more than just the United States. This pipeline will contribute to global security. Listen, the Biden administration. 68 executive orders against energy production in Alaska just completely handcuffing America. And at the same time, of course, the Biden administration put a ban on production and the construction of LNG export facilities. These kinds of activities clearly helped our adversaries, helped Iran, helped Russia, helped them fund wars against us, hurt the American consumer. It's part of the policies that cost, cost that party the election. But under President Trump, he believes in innovation, not in regulation. And right now we've got, we're unleashing American energy. President Trump signing this historic trade deal with Europe. They're agreeing to buy $250 billion of energy a year from America. And again just this morning on the phone, speaking with the Minister of Energy from Italy. These folks are now buying zero Russian gas. The US Is going to be the number one provider of LNG to the country of Italy. More good news, more. Under Trump, we are reducing reliance on foreign suppliers. And the EPA's new renewable fuel standard rule proposal is supercharging all of that announced in June of 2025. It's boosting biofuel volumes for 26 and 27, mandating more suppliers to cut ties with overseas oil. Biden would never have done that. Never. He was too busy killing the Keystone XL pipeline and pandering to the green lobby. It was a socialist fever dream that crippled our economy. And more trillions of dollars spent to ban fossil fuels, kill cows and remake the energy sector to some sort of utopian nightmare that would have bankrupted us just like General Motors. Those setbacks cost us years. Higher energy bills for families lost jobs in coal country and a weaker position on the world stage. If we'd stuck with Trump's first term playbook without the Biden interruption, we would be fully energy independent by now. Exporting like crazy and telling the Middle east take a hike. And let's talk about the fear mongers propping up all of this green hysteria. People like John Kerry and Al Gore. Kerry jets around the world in his private jet, lecturing us about carbon footprints while cozying up to China, the biggest polluter on Earth in 2009. 2009, this is what he predicted. In five years, scientists predict we will have the first ice free Arctic summer that exposes more ocean to sunlight. Ocean is dark. It consumes more of the heat from the sunlight, which then accelerates the rate of the melting. Of course it didn't happen. And how about Al Gore? This guy's been predicting an apocalypse since I can remember. Ice caps melting, polar bears dying, the end of civilization in 10 years. Let's go all the way back into the archive here. Al Gore appears in a 1982. 1982 CBS report that predicted 25% of Florida was going to be underwater. He said it was inevitable, it was going to happen. Listen to this. If these scientists are correct, about 25% of Florida would be flooded along with low lying areas all over the world. Climate changes could produce widespread disruption of agriculture. The American farm belt might be too dry, and the wheat and corn crops would have to move to Canada. Scientists blame the odorless, colorless carbon dioxide gas for these potentially dangerous changes around the planet. Yeah, well, here we are in 2025 and guess what? The world's still spinning and America's thriving because Trump ignores their alarmist bunk. Their so called climate crisis is just a Trojan horse for more government control, higher taxes and killing American industry. Trump's approach, real solutions, drilling and mining and yes, renewables, but when it makes sense and not at the expense of our national security. Which brings me back to China. Beijing just tightened their rare earth export control, slapping restrictions on key metals that we need for everything from EVs to military tech. It's a blatant power play, folks. China controls 80% of the global supply right now and they're weaponizing it to kneecap us, nobody else. They're coming after us. Well, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant says it's China versus the world at this point. Here he is. If some in the Chinese government want to slow down the global economy through disappointing actions and through economic coercion, the Chinese economy will be hurt the most. And make no mistake, this is China versus the world. They have put these unacceptable export controls on the entire world. China is a command and control economy and we and our allies will neither be commanded nor controlled. They are a state economy. And we are not going to let a group of bureaucrats in Beijing try to manage the global supply chains. Right. Obviously negotiations are going to be a big part of that. But Trump's not sitting idle. In the wake of these controls, the US Is ramping up domestic mining in places like California, where one rare earth mine was able to supply almost 16%, 16% of the world's rare earth production in just one year. And now we're building another, as we should. We're also investing in places like Wyoming, where rare earth minerals exist in abundance. Here's more. The United states uses about 10,000 tons a year of rare earth. North, we've got 1.7 million. So just on the math, that's north of 150 years worth of supply just at this mine. So this mine will basically be America's answer to China. Domestic production is key, but it's not Trump's only tool. We're forging alliances with allies like Australia and Canada to shore up our rare earth minerals and products. We're investing in recycling tech and new extraction methods to break free from Xi's grip. Trump's critics have argued that Trump's tariffs got him into a mess. But let's be clear. China is the aggressor here. Trump's not just going to be willing to get stepped on. Even CBS News admits that. Now. Here's their report.
Health Expert/Commentator
I do want to highlight that a lot of the analysts that I talk to do not put the blame on the President here, that it was really China going back to last week, that reignited this tit for tat trade war. When they put those export controls on those very important rare earth minerals. I know everyone's at home is probably like, what is that? It's important for everything from your car to your cell phone to your semiconductor chips. It's really an important piece for a lot of companies, especially tech companies in this country in order to make their products. And China owns 70% of the global reach resource. So, yes, now we're seeing this back and forth. But a lot of analysts I'm talking to said, look, the President needed to.
Steve Guru
Do something, and do something he did. As I pointed out, Trump's done a lot more than just institute tariffs and pursue negotiations. He's put America back in a position to even bring China to the table. It's good news. I remember waiting along gas lines at the gas station as a kid in the 1970s thanks to the Arab oil embargo. You might remember that, too. I remember the fear and helplessness that we all felt. It was enough to completely change our energy policy at the time, as it should. We cannot forget that. We cannot. And we have to keep pushing forward to using the abundance of natural resources we have right here at home. Energy security isn't just about lights and gas. It's national security, economic power and freedom from foreign meddling. It is important. It is critical. It is mission critical. And thank you to Donald Trump for being on that mission. Coming up after the break, we'll have more here on Real America's Voice from Chicago where a police officer has been identified as an illegal alien. More straight ahead.

Well, as ICE agents continue to round up and deport illegal aliens from multiple Democrat led c, one city that keeps coming to mind is Chicago, Illinois. ICE agents are facing violent protests and attacks, all while radical rogue judges try everything they can to thwart the crackdown by the federal government and the Trump administration on these illegals. In response to these efforts, U.S. district Judge Sarah Ellis has mandated that ICE and CBP agents in Chicago wear body cameras while on duty. Not only that, but the top county judge in the Chicago area signed an order barring ICE from arresting people at courthouses. And then there's this. ICE has arrested an illegal alien who was serving as a local police officer in suburban Chicago. You heard me right. The Hanover Park Police authorized an illegal alien to carry a firearm. It's completely in violation of federal law. You're in the country illegally. If you're not a citizen, you can't own a gun. The individual has been identified as Rajul Bojevic. He overstayed his visitor's visa since 2015. Join me now to discuss this. Real America's Voice correspondent Ben Berkwam, who broke that story. He went on a ride along with the Chicago ICE patrol. Ben, good to have you here. I mean, seriously. They gave a guy a badge and a gun who's not a citizen to enforce the law against citizens? It's nuts.
Ben Berkwam
Yeah, it's absolutely nuts. And beyond. So the, you know, this whole thing is he claims that he had work authorization. One big question we have to, to get to the bottom of is how did he get work authorization from USCIS if he wasn't authorized to be here? He didn't have immigration status. He claims that he's requested asylum and never heard back from the attorneys and he's waiting for his court date and all this stuff. Bottom line is, and again, I told you this off air. Steve Guy was a nice guy, seems like a nice guy, said he loved America. But you can't own a gun, you haven't sworn allegiance to our country. How could you possibly be a cop in our nation which is supposed to uphold our Constitution? The citizens of this nation, to uphold the Constitution. And that begs the question, how many more. We saw it in Maine, how many more across America are not just non citizens, are illegal aliens as well?
Steve Guru
Well, and you pointed that out. It's not the first time we've heard that there's a police officer in this country carrying a gun and a badge who's not a citizen. How can you be a police officer when your first act is to break the law and to continue to break the law every single day as you carry that gun on duty? I guess it's completely unacceptable. It's completely insane. And I have to say, look, the governor of Illinois, J.B. pritzker, he's got to be culpable for this too. I mean, he is in a place where he's fighting back against the federal government. This is all part of the problem.
Ben Berkwam
Yeah, these guys, these leftist activist cities and states have created these policies where they. I mean, think about the insanity of this, Steve. They don't allow their law enforcement to work with their federal law enforcement partners. In some cases, they're actively obstructing them. You've got Aurora, Illinois just down the road from us, whose mayor is ordering his police to actively interfere in ICE operations. But yet those same police departments can then hire. They can create laws to say we're going to hire non citizens to be in our police departments. I just.
Field Reporter/Correspondent
This is.
Ben Berkwam
If this is not anti American, if this is not the intentional destruction of our country, I don't know what is. And you look at Illinois as an example, but California, hold on, Massachusetts, all over the country.
Steve Guru
Take it to the next logical step. The police officer in Hanover park could have been told as a non citizen to interfere with federal police officers to prevent them from enforcing the law. That's the next logical step here, right?
Ben Berkwam
That's right. And then. Yeah. And then the question is, who's actually in charge of our country? I mean, you've got, you've got Democrats wanting illegal aliens to vote. You've got Democrats pushing for illegal aliens to have jobs, even up into government positions and law enforcement. At that point, who owns the country? Is it the citizens or is it anybody? Is it the open borders? Is it the globalist left? We are no longer a country if these laws are allowed to stand. And this is really pushing to a fight the federal supremacy fight in our Supreme Court. A lot of this needs to be handled there. A lot of these cities need. And not just defunded. These cities need to be defunded, but these politicians need to be prosecuted for aiding and abetting the undermining of this nation.
Steve Guru
I could not possibly agree with you more. Look, you're allowing illegals. I mean, I can't get past this. I don't think our viewers can get past this. They allowed an illegal alien to get a gun. Look, if I buy a gun, I go through the NIC system. If I have a check on my background, I can't get a gun. How in the world could a gun be issued to an illegal alien along with a badge? I mean, I'm stuck on this bed. I'm sorry, but this is. This is mind blowing.
Ben Berkwam
Yeah, no, it doesn't. It absolutely doesn't make any sense. And again, the only question is, again, what he told me in the car while I was sitting next to him, which was pretty incredible, actually, that opportunity to do that. He said he had work authorization. How did he get work authorization? How did the uscis give him work authorization if he didn't have immigration status to be in the country? I don't know that. Again, it's just the beginning of many questions, but we broke it, and God bless ICE for doing it. And by the way, one last thing. The reason that ICE is going into these communities, doing these targeted enforcement and catching guys like this now is because of the very sanctuary policies Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson have enacted where they can't go into the jails and get the really bad guys. So they're having to go back out into the community and do targeted enforcement. They're catching the really bad guys, but they're also getting everybody else in between. And I say God bless them, take them all.
Steve Guru
I agree, but you know, there's no way they're doing background checks here. So I want to go back to what you suggest. This is not the first time in the last couple of weeks. We've seen it a couple of times now. Illegal aliens that have become police officers, how that happens, do they not do background checks? Do they not run them through the NIC system? That's required for everybody. That is the law. And so now the question is, how many more and how do you find them? How do you determine there might be 10, 2100, 1000, nobody knows. Ben, how do you figure it out?
Ben Berkwam
And you think about, you think about. Look, imagine that you follow again, you follow it to the logical conclusion. Imagine a foreign actor that wants to do harm to America that realizes how stupid these liberal states are. And they say I can get people into police departments and then I can have them act out on command. You know that you think about all the terrorists that are in our nation right now that were let in under Joe Biden. I mean, why wouldn't they take advantage of these insane laws? And, you know, the answer is, obviously they would. That's what scares me.
Steve Guru
Yeah. The last thing that comes to mind here is, and I'll let this be the last question to you, what happens if a police officer that has a gun illegally because he's an illegal alien is involved with an officer involved shooting and kills somebody? Then what? Yeah, last answer to you.
Field Reporter/Correspondent
Yeah.
Ben Berkwam
Well, I mean, unfortunately, if it's a Democrat sanctuary community, more than likely you'll never know about it. It's only because we've chased down these stories. It's just like this lie that illegal aliens commit less crimes than American citizens. The reality is most of the time they either don't get prosecuted or they cover up their legal status. So if it, you know, sad truth is, they'll try to cover that up as well. No doubt.
Steve Guru
Ben, as always, great work. Great story that you broke there. Fascinating. But it has a lot of people, me included, watching today, very concerned about who are on the streets wearing badges that have no business being here. Ben Berklam, thank you.
Ben Berkwam
My pleasure. Thanks, Steve.
Steve Guru
All right. I mean, what a story. It's all I'm going to be talking about for the next couple of days, I'm sure. Anyhow, don't go anywhere. America's Voice live will continue. After a quick break.

All right. During a CNN town hall, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez dodged the big question about whether she believes the illegal should receive health care. Instead she claimed it's a Republican lie. Is it?
Health Expert/Commentator
Listen, this is a common lie that Republicans have been repeating, that this shutdown is about Democrats trying to provide health care to the undocumented. I believe in a single payer health care system where if you go in and you need a doctor, you can get the medical attention that you need.

Steve Guru
Uh huh. Well, Democrats feeling the pressure, that's for sure. It's if they have no platform, no, no agenda except Get Trump. They're spending their energy protesting and spinning their wheels while Republicans push forward with policies that strengthen the United States. And Democrats have no idea what to do about it. Even Nancy Pelosi is feeling the pressure. Yes, she is. As the Democrat anger is getting worse. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, when asked by Lindell TV's Allison Steinberg Wednesday if she was concerned the new J6 committee would find that she was liable for not sending the National Guard. Well, her response, not particularly polite. Roll it.

But Republicans stood strong. Their frustration is apparent with Hakeem's sombreros. Nancy's shut ups. Even the mayoral candidate in New York City is feeling the pressure. Yes, he is. They all are.
Field Reporter/Correspondent

An explosive report from just the news earlier this week revealed the J6 committee accessed data from more than 30 million American phone lines, mapping conversations between conservatives, of course, and the White House. My next guest, Alina Bonsell, a longtime New Yorker, born in Ukraine, naturalized American, mother business leader. She's running for City Council in Manhattan's fifth District on a platform of opposing extreme politicians who govern through dangerous litigation. Julie, your platform stresses government accountability. Given the sheer magnitude of this FBI report, what are your thoughts?
Alina Bonsell
Hi, my name is Alina Bonsal. I'm running for Manhattan Upper east side. So I was reading an article that was recently published, and I thought it was a little hyper hypocrisy.
Field Reporter/Correspondent
A little bit.
Alina Bonsell
Because Congress, there was a similar issue with 23andMe when they breached People's data. They did not have permission to do that, and they did it. And now they're being, you know, on the verge of facing bankruptcy for their actions. But then when Congress does it, you know, Congress gets to basically get away with it. Right. So we need to hold up a higher precedent. And it starts with making, you know, systems accountable and fair balance. You can't just get subpoenas without somebody reviewing them. And I think that's sort of been the issue here.
Steve Guru
Well, the incoming mayor of New York. Because I think the Mamdani is going to win at this point. The incoming mayor of New York says that they want to keep the sanctuary cities, spend hundreds of millions of dollars protecting illegals and providing them services. He wants Free bus passes, grocery stores that are run by the government. The list goes on and on. From where I sit. It's insanity defined. What are your thoughts?
Alina Bonsell
It is insanity. And just ask my mother. You know, socialism doesn't work. The way that it actually hurts people is that there becomes a scarcity of our food supply. You know, for example, you want to go buy an avocado and maybe today it's a dollar, you know, and tomorrow if it's a socialist store, it's 25 cents. But then by the time you go get your avocado, it's not there. There's no avocado, there's no bread, there's no milk. And what do you do now? So what happens is a lot of that food supply is going to turn into black markets. People that actually operate government facilities and stores, they will start to organize and sell products like this significantly more than they cost right now. So it's a known thing. Just ask anybody that's lived under this kind of government. But at the end of the day, I'm running for city council. And city council actually is more powerful than a mayor. City council, collectively, 51 people, they make laws, they change laws, they control things that the mayor, especially somebody like Mazami, cannot do if the majority, which is 26 of 51, stop him. So what we really need to focus on is how do we put good people this election into city council, because they are the ones that can actually change, you know, things and protect our city.
Steve Guru
He doesn't have the power to increase tax, he wants to raise taxes. By the way, anybody making a million dollars, 2% tax increase, all businesses, 4 and a half percent tax increases, there won't be anybody left in New York that has a net worth. The companies will leave, the high earners will leave. There won't be anything left. But he can't really do that on his own, can he?
Alina Bonsell
Correct. He can't do that. And you're right, we had a giant exodus, you know, during COVID and we're going to have a second giant exodus. I've already spoken to some high net worth individuals that already have their apartments on the market that have not left yet, like so many did during COVID but are planning to now. But as you said, in order for attacks to increase, first it has to go through City Hall. If City hall approves it, then it goes to state, it goes to assembly, it goes to state senators, and then finally goes to the Governor. Governor. And you know, from last that I read that Kathy Hochul is not going to approve anything like that. But I don't think it's even going to get up to her.
Steve Guru
Well, that's if you trust Kathy Hochul, which maybe I. Last question. How is the campaign going?
Alina Bonsell
It's going better than anybody suspected because my district actually had the highest amount of registered Republicans. We have so many disenfranchised moderate Democrats that are just fed up with the direction of where the city is going. And then we have a lot of Jewish voters that are scared. They know what's at stake. And voter turnout is going to be at an all time high. New registered voters are being signed up every single day. So it is time to take our city back. It is time to elect a balanced city hall. Right now we have only six Republicans out of 51 and it is time to create balance and bring our city back.
Steve Guru
Well, I agree with you on that and I wish you well in your campaign. Thank you for being here.
Alina Bonsell
Thank you so much.
Steve Guru

All right, well, Liberty University has just kicked off its CEO Summit, where top executives and students who share an unwavering belief in their faith can get together and learn as well and network. Pretty important deal. The speaker list is unsurprisingly stacked and includes notable figures from all business sectors such as Lee Zeldin, the 17th administrator of the EPA, even Chick fil A's Dan T. Cathy is there. So cool stuff, right? Liberty University's commitment to provide this opportunity for students who lead their lives by faith is an awe inspiring fact. RAV Correspondent Brick McHenry is at Liberty University covering the event. She was able to get an interview with our former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss. Let's take a look at that.

It'S happening on our doorstep and it is scary.
Alina Bonsell
Why are no politicians, or rather a lack of politicians in the UK commenting on that when in America? We've been remarking on what you just mentioned, the attack on free speech in the uk.
Health Expert/Commentator
I mean some people are talking about it but it's not getting broadcast on mainstream media.
Emily Maitlis
They're not talking about it so.
Health Expert/Commentator
And it gets very, very quickly suppressed. So they move on to a different story.
Steve Guru
And join me now is Britt McHenry and former Congressman Dave Bratt. Britt, you might not realize this, but all the best people are from Michigan, including Dave himself. Glad to have you here and tell us what this event's all about.
Alina Bonsell
Dave, take it away. I mean there's a lot more events tonight. A great speaker too.
J
I'm going two minutes, I'm going over Steve. I'm going to interview the ambassador from Taiwan and then the speaker that puts in Northern Ireland, Ian Paisley, bunch of other international superstars. Then tonight we've got Doug DeVos from Western Michigan, that's where I went to college. Excited to have him in co chairman of Amway. We have Pat Gelsinger tonight, the inventor of the intel chip way back when leading Silicon Valley right now in the faith. And then we got Brian Westbury, Great Christian leader in the financial sector. And so it's going to be a great night. Tomorrow morning, we're worshiping convocation, 15,000 live kids with Doug DeVos leading it up.
Steve Guru
Well, Dave, you know Liberty University, man, they have come and I know you're there on the faculty. Boy, has that university just blossomed in the last few years, hasn't it?
J
Yeah, no, it's. It's incredible. A lot of people don't know. We have 170,000 current students. 170,000. Not a typo. And so we, our tagline is we train champions for Christ. And very few schools say that anymore. Harvard used to say it back in 1640. They were truth for Christ in church. And for a couple hundred years, every university in the country was. And now they've fallen off and it's not clear what they're all doing. And so we kind of stand uniquely alone in a good way. So it's our kids. You see the kids here, they're just great, highly ethical, spiritual Christian kids.
Alina Bonsell
It's been a recurring thing to hear about faith from all these kids here.
Steve Guru
Yeah, go ahead, Britt. You're gonna be covering it for the rest of the the time to wrap it up for us.
Alina Bonsell
Yeah. As Dave mentioned, there's just been a plethora of speakers. You know, the AI was a big focus this morning, as was women's rights and women's participation in voting. A lot of strong speakers there. A lot of students were happy about that. Females I was speaking to. And like I mentioned or was getting at, there's a strong remembrance of Charlie Kirk as well. Everybody brought up his name and how it inspired each and every one of the people here, from the big CEOs to the AI tech leaders to the students, really eager to learn. And I think that's what's unique in what you are also getting at about Liberty University and hosting this fifth annual summit. So we've had a great time and.

This is very exciting, what we're doing. I want to thank everybody for being here and I want to thank this group of people. They're incredible people. We just had a call, as you know, with President Putin. I thought it was a very good call. So we'll talk about it maybe later. But it went very well. We're here today to announce a historic victory for American women, mothers and families with the actions I will outline this afternoon will dramatically slash the cost of IVF and the treatment and many of the most common fertility drugs for countless millions of Americans. Prices are going way down, way, way down. I want to thank Libby Horne, who is the senior Vice President of Fertility of EMD Serrano. So I want to thank you. Let's see here. That's what I thought. I thought it was you. Thank you, Libby, very much. And let me also thank the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Whose wife destroyed the people on the View yesterday. I have to say that she's, She's. I'm not going to ever get into an argument with her. And you've decided you learned that a long time ago, right? She did a great job, actually. Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick. Thank you, Howard. Secretary of Labor, Lori Chavez Durimer. Thanks, Lori. Howard. Thanks. CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz. Who. Fantastic guy, and he's done really well. FDA Commissioner Marty McCary. Thank you, Marty. Senator Katie Britt, who got me started with this Whole thing when she called up to say there was a bad ruling by a judge. Right. We got to do something, sir. And we did it very quickly. Probably in 24 hours, it was done. Congressman Richard Hudson, a great, great guy, and his wife Renee. Richard. Hi, Richard. And advocate Samantha Bush, who's a very respected person. For years, American couples struggling with infertility have faced crushing costs in their quest to start a family. And IVF is among the most expensive treatments of all. A single round of IVF in the United States can cost up to $25,000, can actually go a lot higher than that, and many couples require multiple rounds for a successful pregnancy. A major reason for these high prices is the excessive cost of the drugs involved. The number one fertility drug used in IVF is currently 700% more expensive in the United States than the rest of the world. And, you know, we're ending all of that. It's called favored nations. And we're ending it, and we're ending it pretty fast. Nobody thought we'd be able to do it, and we've done it. Drugs are going to come down. Drug prices are coming down. 400%, 200%, 600%, numbers that nobody has ever seen before. Great for Medicare, Medicaid, even Social Security. Great for everything, I think. Dr. Oz. So that's something that's. To me, it's very exciting. I'm bugging him and Bobby all the time. How are we doing with that? And we're doing really good, Bobby. It's really going good. Other countries are agreeing to it, because if they don't, we put them, put tariffs on them, and then they agree. So it's amazing. It's amazing how that worked out. But in. As an example, in London, you'd buy a certain drug for $130, and even less than that, I guess, $88 as of account a month ago. And in New York, you pay $1,300 for the same thing. So now we're going to be paying. Instead of $1,300, you'll be paying about $150. And they'll be paying $150, too. We're going to pay the same thing. Favored nations. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing. And we've been ripped off by the whole world for a long period of time. One of the most popular fertility drugs regimens cost over $5,000 per cycle, as an example. Wow. Largely as a result of these unsustainable prices, 70% of the employers do not offer insurance that covers IVF therefore, most couples with fertility challenges are paying these costs entirely out of their own pockets, which is not really possible to do. Oh, look who we have. Look at that. The great Maria Bartiromo. I didn't know. Did you get put into the regular pool pack? That's very good. That's good. Nice to see you. I'm doing an interview with her a little while. In the Trump administration, we want to make it easier for all couples to have babies, raise children, and start the families they've always dreamed about. That's why today I'm pleased to announce that after extensive negotiations, EMD Serrano, the largest fertility drug manufacturer in the world, has agreed to provide massive discounts to all fertility drugs they sell in the United States, including the most popular drug of all, the IVF drug, Gonol F. So it's Gonol F. Is that a proper pronunciation? Close enough. Right. Gonolef. As part of this agreement, EMD Serrano will list their fertility drugs online at trumprx.gov@very, very heavily reduced prices, prices that you won't even believe. And ultimately, that's because of the favored nations. In addition, the FDA will be working with the company to expedite review and approval of another common fertility IVF drug. And currently it's selling in Europe. It's Pergo Various. Pergo Varus. And that's a sound. Pergo Varis. Why can't you name them? Nice, simple names. Nice, easy names. Doesn't matter if it works. That's all we care about, right? Upon approval, this drug would directly compete against a much more expensive option that currently has a monopoly in the American market. And this will bring down costs very significantly. And the other one is going to have to come down also. Finally, EMD Serrano has agreed that all future drugs and everything that it develops and sells in the United States will be offset at most favored nation prices. I've been after this for a long time, and we started the process in the last administration, and then we had a little thing called Covid that came up. We had to focus on that. Did a good job in that, too. And they'll bring a significant portion of their drug manufacturing back to the United States. So they're going to bring it largely back into the United States, and that's for a lot of reasons, but primarily because of the election result November 5, and maybe most importantly, because of the tariffs, because if they do it here, there are no tariffs. So we have. We're going to be very close. I think by the end of this Year, we're going to be very close to $20 trillion in investment. As an example, the Biden administration had less than $1 trillion, substantially less than 1 trillion for four years. Maria can you imagine four years less than one. We're going to break $20 trillion of investment and we're already over 17 trillion. And that's in eight months. Can you believe that? And he was at less than 1 trillion. And in addition to that, he had open borders allowing millions of people to pour in. What an administration that was worst president in history by far. As a result of these actions, the per cycle cost of drugs used and IVF will fall by an estimated 73% for American consumers. And the numbers are going to actually be very substantially higher as time goes by when it really kicks in for most of the. I mean, think of those numbers. You know, I told the story last time because we were with Pfizer and Pfizer's doing something very similar. But I told them that my first term, I was so proud of myself because I was the first president in 28 years where drug prices went down for the year. And you know what? They went down 1/8 of 1%. But I was so 1/8 of 1%. Now I'm getting them down, Maria 500, 600, 800%. In some cases even more than that. It's hard to believe, but I was proud. I said, oh wow, I'm the first one. 1/8 of 1%. And I was proud of that. Now I realize and I called the news conference, some of you are at that news conference actually. And I said, ladies and gentlemen, congratulations. We've gone down by 1/8th of 1% and now we're going down 56700800%. Richard so that's really something for most administrations and all of the people involved in this kind of thing. This action would be a crowning achievement of their agenda for fertility health. But for us, it's really just the beginning. It's just the start. It's one of many things we're doing today. We're also taking historic steps to vastly expand access to insurance coverage for fertility care, including ivf, something that, that, as you know, was not covered. Effective immediately, for the first time ever, we will make it legal for companies to offer supplemental insurance plans specifically for fertility. That's never been done before. We're signing it in today. With what we sign, Americans will be able to opt in to specialized coverage. Just as they get vision and dental insurance, they're going to get fertility insurance for the first time. So I don't know, you know, I don't know how well these things are covered. You know, I see the Democrats like to take credit for all of the things we do. We do the things and they take the credit. But I figure if you do enough of these, eventually people are going to figure it out. The Democrats have done nothing. This will make all fertility care, including ivf, far more affordable and accessible. And by providing coverage at every step of the way, it will reduce the number of people who ultimately need to resort to ivf because couples will be able to identify and address problems early. The result will be healthier pregnancies, healthier babies, and many more beautiful American children. It's a big factor. It's a big deal. I'm asking all employers to make these new fertility benefit options available to their employees immediately. The initiatives I've just announced are the boldest and most significant actions ever taken by any president to bring the miracle of life into more American homes. And I will say Katie was, as you know, she's a great senator from Alabama. She's the first one that told me about this. I had not known too much about it, and we worked very rapidly together. Didn't we, though? We had everything passed, and Alabama then took care of it and passed it. Within a week, everything was done. Really, it was something. So I want to thank Katie Britt. There's no deeper happiness and joy of raising children. And now millions of Americans struggling with infertility will have a new chance to share the greatest experience of them all. So I'd like to thank all of the people that are here, and I think we'll start with Dr. Oz and Ms. Horne. We'll go through the list and we'll listen. And yesterday I did this, and I stood for about an hour and a half as people spoke, and I said, this time, I'm sitting right there and I'm going to watch you. I stood for an hour and a half like this. I said, you got to be kidding. Here we go. It was one after another, and it was wonderful listening to him. But I said, if I have to do this every day. Bobby, should I stand or sit? Thank you, Bobby, please. Dr. Oz.
Health Expert/Commentator
Mr. President, I'm going to jump in here real quick. I want to start by thanking President Trump. Sir, from the very first phone call we ever had, your support was strong, it was steadfast, it was unwavering. And because of you, millions of Americans are going to have a greater opportunity to bring the greatest gift, in my opinion, life, into this world, your support, your administration support, it's a game changer. All of us here today are aligned. This is a celebration of life, it's a celebration of parents, it's a celebration of families and it's a celebration for those people who want to one day be parents themselves. I think every parent can attest, and I certainly do myself, that the greatest gift that God has ever given me is the ability to be a mom. We want more people to have that opportunity. We want to make that easier and more affordable. IVF is what makes the difference for so many families that are facing infertility. So you've seen the numbers. It's either 1 in 8 couples or some people say as much as 1 in 6 are actually experiencing issues with fertility. It's 9% of males and at least 11% of females that are facing these challenges as they work to build their family. The recommendations today that President Trump has set forth are going to expand IVF coverage to nearly a million more families and they're going to drive down cost significantly. Mr. President, this is take a deep.

Steve Gruber (Energy Policy, 03:48):
“Take that unleashing American energy executive order Trump signed on day one…Boom. It slashed those burdensome regulations, opened up federal lands for drilling and put America first.”
Mandy, former EPA Chief of Staff (On Clean Energy, 06:12):
“It’s not like they were bringing some great new technology… they were government subsidized ideas that really did little in the way of making electricity affordable and reliable…”
Steve Gruber (04:56):
“Trump has practically dismantled the Green New Deal.”
Steve Gruber (On Chicago police scandal, 20:33):
“They gave a guy a badge and a gun who’s not a citizen to enforce the law against citizens? It’s nuts.”
Ben Berkwam (20:46):
“You can’t own a gun, you haven’t sworn allegiance to our country. How could you possibly be a cop in our nation which is supposed to uphold our Constitution?”
Ben Berkwam (On security risks, 25:43):
“Imagine a foreign actor that wants to do harm to America… They can get people into police departments and then act out on command…”
Steve Gruber (J6 data scandal, 32:05):
“The J6 committee accessed data from more than 30 million American phone lines, mapping conversations between conservatives and the White House.”
Alina Bonsell (32:57):
“When Congress does it, Congress gets to basically get away with it… We need to hold up a higher precedent.”
Donald Trump (IVF/Drug Prices, 50:37):
“We’re here today to announce a historic victory for American women, mothers and families… will dramatically slash the cost of IVF and fertility drugs for countless millions.”
