America's Voice Live starts now. Welcome to America's Voice Live. I'm Terrence Bates in for Steve Gruber. It is Thursday, the 30th of October. Let's get right into today's top stories. President Trump back home at the White House. He landed within the last hour after securing multiple investments for America during his trip to Asia. Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona standing by to discuss the President's Successful trade mission. Plus, special counsel Jack Smith is in hot water. As recently discovered. Documents show he and his Arctic Frost team spied on over a dozen GOP lawmakers. And not only that, they also allegedly tapped over 30 million phone lines. Illegal or protecting America? We'll ask Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin. And then later, the election to decide the next mayor of New York City is less than a week away. In fact, early voting is underway as we speak. Find out what the polls are saying as many Republicans are sounding the alarm over Democrat frontrunner and socialist Zoran Mondame. All those stories are coming up, but first, let's start things off with Arctic Frost and the scandal involving it. Republican Senators Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin are sounding the alarm over what they call a highly politicized stunt by the Biden era FBI and doj. During a press conference on Wednesday, the senators released nearly 200 subpoenas they say were used by the Biden FBI to target members of the Republican Party as well as GOP organizations and members of Congress during an investigation known as Arctic Frost. It was led by Special counsel Jack Smith. Documents discovered by Cash Patel show that Smith and his team spied on a total of 12 Republican lawmakers. The spying included phone numbers that targeted lawmakers and the phone numbers they called where the calls originated and where the call was received. The investigation also found that Congress tapped into the phone lines of nearly 30 million people with connections to the White House in regards to the Jan. 6 probe. Republicans argue this is further proof that the Biden era FBI and Justice Department was willing to monitor and harass political opponents in order to push their agenda. Joining me now to flesh all of this out is Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson. Senator Johnson, good to see you. Good afternoon.
Senator Ron Johnson
Thanks for having me on, Terrence. Hope you're doing well. Absolutely.
Terrence Bates
This is such an interesting and breathtaking story in terms of overreach, if you will. Let's start here. Where do you see this investigation ultimately going?
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, what I want to do is I want to fully expose the weaponization of the FBI, Department of Justice under the mine administration. I want nothing less than that. I am far more concerned about uncovering and exposing and make it all public as opposed to listen. I want these criminals punished, indicted, whatever penalty. But there's no penalty that will rise to the damage they've done to our democracy. So the first order business is uncover all the information. I'm asking Casp Patel, Pam Bondi, everybody that works for them, a robust internal investigation. I really, at this point, do not want a special counsel or even a criminal investigation. Because my experience, having done this for about a decade, the minute you have a special counsel or criminal investigation, all those records get tied up in the legal process. And what we noticed with John Durham, if they do choose to indict narrowly like they did with the Kleinsmith, that's the only information ever gets released. The rest ends up being sealed. So this first and foremost has to be uncovered and exposed. The American people need to fully understand what President Biden did in weaponizing these agencies against ordinary patriotic Americans.
Terrence Bates
I hear you, Senator Johnson, but the question arises, even once all of this information comes out and it becomes public, if there are no charges, if there's no real teeth in following up on that information, doesn't it basically give license to other people to do the same thing?
Senator Ron Johnson
No. The charges can then be filed. Congress refers for criminal charges all the time, but that's the order the process ought to go. And again, just through experience, I realize if it starts a criminal investigation, the public will probably never know exactly what happened. They'll know on the specific indictment. Look at James Comey. I mean, to me, he's a criminal on multiple counts, but statute of limitations expired. He's being indicted now online to Congress. What's going to be the maximum penalty for that? When you consider the incalculable damage that people like James Comey and Brennan and Clapper and quite honestly, Obama and Biden did to this country, Again, no indictment, no penalty for a conviction is going to even come close to compensating for that massive damage.
Terrence Bates
Talk about personally, how this has all affected you and your colleagues. Obviously, I'm sure you've spoken with some of your colleagues, some of those who were actually spied on. That's got to be a shock to the system, I would imagine.
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, listen, I've been investigating the corruption within the Obama and Biden administrations for a decade now. It didn't surprise me at all. It should shock every American. It is shocking, there's no doubt about it. But these people are brazen partisans. Remember, this is Joe Biden as president States basically accusing half of America of being potential domestic terrorists conducting SWAT raids on grandma and grandpas at their, you know, their homes out in rural districts. I mean, it's unconscionable what they did, you know, pursuing. People just showed up in the Capitol on January 6th, and we all condemned the violence. We all believe that people who committed violence should have been prosecuted and punished. But people just showed up. But again, what we are finding now with the release about 1700 pages, 197 different subpoenas. Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. This was supplied to us by a whistleblower. What we're finding in those documents is a Biden administration enemies list. They were targeting, for example, they targeted 38 Wisconsinites. I know most of those individuals. They are God fearing, country loving law enforcement respecting people who love this country. Just want to make sure that we keep our country. And they were targeted by the Biden administration. They are suspected domestic terrorists. This is sick. And this needs to be fully exposed.
Terrence Bates
It's unconscionable for sure. The other thing that's unconscionable is Senate Democrats continuing to hold out and not vote to reopen the government. There is potentially talk of a deal that was being brokered behind the scenes. Are you hearing anything about that? There's been some reporting on that issue. Are you hearing anything about a potential deal that could get enough Democrats, excuse me, to cross the aisle in order to reopen the government?
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, the only deal that I'm involved in is trying to come up with how to compensate the people that are working and being forced to work. I've agreed to add furloughed workers onto my shutdown Fairness Act. And so we're polishing off the language. We want to get it just right. We'll probably release that language to Democrats who are interested, to the unions who are highly interested in seeing this thing passed. So I think we can do a deal there and maybe get that done very early next week. Democrats seem to have their heels dug in. I mean, they've had 13 opportunities to just open up the government, do what they did 13 times under the Biden administration. A clean continuing resolution at present, buying spending levels. The House really was kind of like a car dealership. You know, people don't like dickering over the price on cars. They say, you know, our best price up front. You don't have to negotiate with car dealers, car salesmen. That's what the House did. So here's our best offer. It's what you have done 13 times. Let's not close the government down. And Democrats simply wouldn't take yes for an answer.
Terrence Bates
You mentioned that the language of your bill will be out by early next week, which of course brings to mind Election Day. Do you expect that there may be some movement over the weekend in advance of next week's elections?
Senator Ron Johnson
Again, I hope to have the language finalized this afternoon and then give it to Democrat offices, to my colleagues, to the unions and I guess over the weekend, develop the support. I've asked some of the Democrat colleagues to get a whip count so that we know if we bring to the floor, it'll actually succeed. But again, what this does, it pays people who are being forced to work as well as furloughed workers who are going to get paid when all this is said and done anyway. So I include those in the bills as an accommodation of the Democrats to get their votes again. Let's see if they'll take yes for an answer.
Terrence Bates
Right. I imagine that by now you've had some kind of side conversations with Democrat lawmakers. It seems to me to be so irresponsible to know that your constituents, I mean, no matter where you are, you have constituents that are being furloughed for some reason or who aren't working or going to work and not getting paid. Are they at all reticent? Are they at all kind of, you know, saying, all right, yeah, we know this is bad, or are they just so dug in and so tone deaf that there's just, they're lost right now?
Senator Ron Johnson
It appears that more and more of them are approaching leadership or, you know, the people who have best relationships on our side of the aisle and basically saying, we've got to find our way out of here. So I think that's basically true. But let's face it, Chuck Schumer is concerned about a primary by aoc, so he's concerned about his political career. So he's willing to hold our military, federal law enforcement, tsc, air traffic control hostage for his political ambition. It's pretty sick. Hopefully there will be some Democrats who recognize it's really sick, it's indefensible, and we only need about 5 more to reopen the government. So that'd be the best solution. That is the solution. But if they refuse to do that, digging their heels in on the enhanced premium subsidies which just mask the failure of Obamacare, we've got the Shutdown Fairness act that can at least compensate the people that are keeping us safe.
Terrence Bates
Let's hope it gains some traction and those people can get paid. Before I let you go, I'm sure you've heard of this. President Trump recently authorized, really just within the last 24 hours, authorized the testing of U.S. nuclear weapons. That's going to happen for the first time in decades. Should we read anything specifically into this, or is this simply a show of strength?
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, first of all, you have to understand exactly what he may be saying there. I don't know. I mean, we're testing them without blasting them off all the time. You have to keep them modernized. You have to keep make sure that they're going to work. So I don't know exactly what he's saying. I know both Russia and China are saying they want us to maintain the test ban treaty, you know, not actually fire them off like North Korea is the only nation's done that in our most recent history. So again, I don't want to see nuclear, the actual nuclear weapons blasted off, you know, underground testing. But again, we have to keep make sure that our nuclear weapons are in tip top shape and you know, in the horrific instance where they have to be used, they would actually work.
Terrence Bates
So on its face, you're in support then of the idea at least.
Senator Ron Johnson
Again, I'm not exactly sure what he means by testing weapons. I would highly doubt that he's talking about actually doing underground tests.
Terrence Bates
Okay. Well, we'll have to see more about this. Obviously he made the announcement on Truth Social, but we'll continue to ask questions. Senator, always good to see you. We appreciate your time.
Senator Ron Johnson
Have a great day.
Terrence Bates
You as well. Coming up after the break, Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs joins us with his thoughts on the president's trip to Asia, plus what he's doing while Senate Democrats hold out on funding for the government. All of that's ahead. Stick around.

Phoenix, Arizona, looking good. It's probably a little warmer there than it is here in the Denver newsroom. In the Denver area, President Trump is back from Asia, where he secured hundreds of billions of dollars worth of investments in the United States. Those deals include rare earth minerals deals with Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. He also secured new funding for US Industry from Japan, along with boosting defense ties and countering China's influence in the region. The tour ended with a high stakes meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. China, by the way, making an about face and once again purchasing American soybeans, among other things. Congressman and candidate for governor in the great state of Arizona, Andy Biggs, joining me now to discuss the success of the trade mission. Congressman, it's good to see you. It's been way too long. Let's just dispense with the niceties and get right to President Trump's trip to Asia. What do you make of it? How successful was it in your estimation?
Congressman Andy Biggs
Well, I'm going to give him an A plus grade. I started. We could talk specific. I will in just a second. But what needed to happen and what really happened here was a reinvigoration of every, from Southeast Asia up to Northeast Asia, which is necessary to balance against mainland communist China right now. And so ultimately, you want to bring India into that swath to balance against China. And this really did it because it reinvigorated our relationship as Americans. So here's the way to think of it. One of the most important things which didn't get much play was he attended a session of the Asian Pacific Economic Council, apec, and that was in Busan in South Korea. So as he's going from Malaysia and you had the Cambodian, Thailand peace treaty signed and then you move on up to, to, to Northeast Asia in Japan. And they talked about, they talked about our military presence there, but they also secured some trade deals there. They secured trade deals in, in Seoul when he was there Then he went to. Back to. To meet with Xi Jinping. And that was necessary because they are our global adversary. They. They're not just an economic competitor. They view us as an enemy, and they want to displace us as the global hegemon. And I just thought it was a terrific diplomatic and economic success for President Trump.
Terrence Bates
To your point, one of the things that struck me between the meeting of President Trump and Xi Jinping is that Xi Jinping was praising President Trump for having brought peace to so many different regions around the world. Xi Jinping going on to say that, you know, together, China and the United States can continue to work together to bring peace globally. And I find that so interesting, being that Xi Jinping and China in general are the biggest threat to peace in the Indo Pacific region. Am I off base here somehow? Am I missing something, Congressman?
Dr. Ian Tolberg
No, no.
Congressman Andy Biggs
I was struck by that as well, because I look at it and I say, well, this is the Chinese way. This is the Xi Jinping's way. And he's going to basically say, look, we can work with you, et cetera.
Senator Ron Johnson
But what he really.
Congressman Andy Biggs
His ambition is to actually displace us. And you look at the issues that. I mean, if you were to go meet with Japanese diplomats and political leaders like Prime Minister Takechi, you're going to find out that one of their biggest concerns is China, South Korea, the same Taiwan, Southeast Asia. They're all concerned about the elephant in the room, which is Chinese irredentism. Their. Their desire to actually expand and control that region completely on their way to becoming the global hegemon. So I just took it. That is some kind of.
Terrence Bates
Kind of a.
Congressman Andy Biggs
Let's just say, a flourish on the part of Xi Jinping.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, it was a lot of rhetoric, but it had me scratching my head thinking, okay, am I hearing this right? Whatever. All right, so let's get local. One of the big takeaways, if you will, from the trade deal was President Xi promising tougher enforcement on fentanyl and its precursors. Let's talk specifically about Arizona, because fentanyl is often trafficked through your state as well. Talk about how significant that part of the trade deal is specifically for Arizona.
Congressman Andy Biggs
Well, I'll believe it when I see it, Terrence. I mean, because let's admit that the number one human and drug trafficking corridor in the United States is through Arizona. And reports I have is that many of the cartels, the people who are actually mixing the drugs, the fentanyl, creating it down in Mexico, for instance, they actually have Chinese chemists on hand. So we continue to see problems with the, with the Chinese exportation of the precursor chemicals to create fentanyl. So I will believe that when I see it. I hope it. I hope it's true. And I hope art. Our administration will continue to try to squeeze that out. But there's so much money to be had that it's hard to believe that the Chinese are going to stop it completely. And I. But that's what it's necessary. We need them to domestically take control of it. But they haven't done it so far. We've been. We've been asking for years.
Senator Ron Johnson
All right.
Terrence Bates
The proof will be in the pudding. Also domestically, SNAP benefits expiring today. More Americans starting to feel the pinch of the government shutdown. What are your biggest concerns specific for specifically. Excuse me, for Arizonans?
Congressman Andy Biggs
Well, there's a lot of things. Small Business Administration. I've got businesses that can't even get their loans that they were almost approved. They relying on it. So that's a problem. Housing closing can't take place. We have 40,000. I've just been working this morning. 40,000 workers that normally come over for five months and help pick our crops, which, by the way, is 90% of winter vegetables in the United States. There's hardly any of them that have been approved. And they can't be approved because of the slowdown and due to the shutdown. So this is gonna. These things are gonna impact the entire country, but they'll also impact Arizona.
Terrence Bates
Before I let you go, gotta talk about your gubernatorial candidacy. Why leave the hallowed halls of Congress and return home to Arizona just to be in the governor's mansion?
Congressman Andy Biggs
Now, come on, Terrence. You and I both know you've been to Congress.
Terrence Bates
You know, that's why I was chuckling.
Congressman Andy Biggs
As I said, this state needs a correction. Course correction. I believe we went from being fourth in job creation in this country. We're now 47th. That's under this current governor. And so we need some leadership here at home as well.
Terrence Bates
All right, so for people who may want to find out more about your candidacy and more about your push to become the next governor of Arizona, where can they find you? Bigsforarizona.com bigsforarizona.com There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Congressman, soon to be governor. It's always good to talk to you.

Thanks, Terrence. Always good. It's been too long.

It has been too long. And it won't be as long next time. Thanks so much. Well, folks, coming up after the break breaking down operation Arctic Frost and its legal ins and outs. That's.

Welcome back everyone. Let's go to North Carolina, why don't we Surveilling American citizens. It really sounds like something from a 1960s East German spy movie, but believe it or not, it happened right here in the United States under the Biden administration. What's even more scandalous is that the spying included sitting members of Congress. Congressional Republicans accused the Biden White House of orchestrating a blatant weaponization of federal power. Here to discuss this bombshell is Republican candidate for Senate in North Carolina and former JAG officer at the Pentagon, Don Brown. Don, welcome to the show.
Don Brown
Thanks for having me, Terrence. Really appreciate it.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely looking forward to this conversation. Let's just start here. How floored were you to hear of this sort of White House sponsored spying on American citizens? Much more sitting members of Congress.
Don Brown
You know, I would really be floored if it weren't for the fact that Obama started at first under a crossfire hurricane. Now with the Democrats during the Biden administration and these unconstitutional prosecutions by the same Jack Smith who seems to be behind this Arctic Frost operation, I'm shocked, I'm disappointed. It's another assault on our Constitution. But unfortunately, we get desensitized to what they're doing. And I'm not as floored as I wish that I were.
Terrence Bates
In general, spying and surveilling American citizens is unheard of. It's not legal, except for under certain conditions. Talk about the legalities or lack thereof in this particular Arctic Frost investigation.
Don Brown
Well, we start with a little thing in the Constitution called the Fourth Amendment. You know, the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, you know, papers and effects shall not be violated. Not be violated. And if you're going to go in and you're going to surveil someone, whether it's a member of Congress or someone who works at McDonald's, it doesn't matter. All members, all American citizens have the right to privacy under the Fourth Amendment. You got to have a search warrant. And what Jack Smith and his prodigy is his folks appear to have done here is they appear to have issued subpoenas and used electronic eavesdropping on members of Congress in their telephone calls. And without going to a judge and getting a warrant, you got to have probable cause that a crime has been violated. And I think Jack Smith himself needs to be prosecuted. And this is the same Jack Smith that went after Governor Bob McDonnell was reverse 8 to 0. He went after President Trump on a frivolous national security case when the President can have all the documents he wants in the Presidential Records Act. He made a mockery of J6 trying to call it an insurrection when it's a Fed's direction. He's abused the courts, attacking the Constitution, and he needs to face the music himself. And I really hope that our new Attorney General, Pam Bondi, is going to take a look at some of his actions pretty hard here.
Terrence Bates
As a layman, it seems the proof is pretty clear. But I'd like to tap into your JAG experience. How do you see the proof and how do you see this case being prosecuted? Is this a difficult case to make?
Don Brown
Well, I don't really think so. The issue is whether or not these search warrants or in the alternative, electronic surveillance. You know, they say they didn't get any conversations from the senators, but they were getting metadata as to who they were calling and who was calling in. And that's, that's a private matter. And I think you made the argument that they tried to use subpoenas in lieu of search warrants. 18 USC 241 and 242 address this. You can prosecute under 242 members of the government who use the color of their office to deprive someone of their constitutional rights. And the right to Privacy under the Fourth Amendment is a right under 18 USC 241. If there's a conspiracy to deprive of constitutional rights, there can be a prosecution. I think there should be definitely a criminal investigation into this. It does appear that this is an attempt to use search warrants to subterfuge to clear requirement under the Fourth Amendment. I apologize. To use subpoenas, I should say, as an attempt to subterfuge to clear requirements under the Fourth Amendment to issue a search warrant, in other words, a backdoor way of violating these members of Congress's constitutional rights to the to for privacy and is being done so for political reasons. And somebody needs to be held accountable. And that starts with Jack Smith and any other agents are involved in this.
Terrence Bates
Agreed. Let's hope it gets to that point. Before I let you go, I want to talk about your Senate candidacy. Right now, you are in the Asheville area. That area, of course, was ravaged by the hurricane, what just last year. What have you seen on the ground? What's recovery looking like there right now? And I would imagine that that recovery, whatever was happening, is slowed now given the government shutdown.
Don Brown
Recovery has been slowed. President Trump put one of my opponents, Mr. Whatley, in charge of recovery as a czar. Not too much has happened. And so Asheville needs help, we're estimating. And I'm just talking about Asheville. I'm Talking about the 25 counties in Western North Carolina, Henderson County, Watauga county, you know, Swain County. All these counties up here need help. It's estimated it's going to take about $64 billion to help. I think you got to get FEMA out of the way. I think you got to put that money in a trust fund and get it directly to the counties and to Samaritan's Purse and to maybe one other, a charitable organization, Adam Smith Group perhaps, has been on the ground and has been helping here. We got to get the red tape out of the way so we can help these folks. Hey, and even Hurricane Matthew in the eastern part of our state nine years ago, there are still 5,000 people that are homeless because of Democrat Roy Cooper's ineptitude. And we got to do better. We got to get money directly to the people. We got to cut out the bureaucracy. And that means getting rid of fema. We got to replace it with something that's more workable, effective, and manageable.
Terrence Bates
You mentioned your opponent, Michael Whatley. He's obviously the big fish given his relationship with President Trump. How much of a challenge is it going to be to beat him? You chuckle. So go ahead. I'm interested in this response since you.
Don Brown
Chuckled the big Tuna, the Big Kahuna. Well, listen, some of the mainstream media wants it to be a Whatley vs Cooper race. I actually mentioned my other opponent, Roy Cooper, the Democrat and former governor. Wally is not popular on the ground in North Carolina. And I love President Trump. He is Mount Rushmore worthy. But I think he's gotten some, you know, less than good advice with regard to Mr. Whatley. He is not popular at all within the grassroots of the Republican Party. We're going to take him down in the primary. We're going to pull a huge surprise. And sooner or later, local media is going to realize there's more than one competitor in the Republican primary. They're trying to make it as if he's already been coronated. And what's happening here is the RNC and the North Carolina Republican Party are trying to coordinate Whatley without a debate and without an opponent. Kind of like the Democrats did with Kamala Harris. You know, Terrence, we gotta be better than the Democrats. North Carolina Republicans deserve to hear their candidates debate to see who's the best policy chops and who's the most conservative candidate, and that's me.
Terrence Bates
And it's clear that Don Brown has something to say and we'll have something to say about all of that. We appreciate you being here with us. Thank you so much for taking some time out of your schedule.
Don Brown
Thank you, Terrence. God bless. Hope to see you again soon.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. You always are welcome on this show. Thank you so much. Well, folks, a new administration in Washington, D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality is, however, that there's only so much the government can do. And if we really want to make America healthy again, it starts at our homes with each and every one of us. And that's where the wellness company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time here on this network and you know their products. Welcome back to America's Voice Live. We appreciate you being here with us. The New York mayoral race is coming down to the wire with with the grim possibility of self described Democrat Socialist Zoran Mamdani stealing and steering the ship. The candidates up for election include Andrew Cuomo, Republican Curtis Lewa, and of course, Mamdani himself. Mamdani and Cuomo are considered the front runners and the favorites at the moment, with Mamdani already having beaten Cuomo in the Democratic primary. A recent Quinnipiac poll has Mamdani at 43% favorability in Cuomo trailing with a 33% favorability rating. Various proposals that Mamdani plans to implement include socialized grocery stores. He's even threatened to arrest Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu if he's elected. Joining me to discuss is Cornell law professor and the founder of the Equal Protection Project, William Jacobson. Professor Jacobson, welcome.
William Jacobson
Thank you for having me on.
Terrence Bates
So let's just start the conversation here. How concerned are you that Mamdani actually pulls this thing out and wins?
William Jacobson
Well, it's very concerning. The fact that he's even in the lead and he won the Democrat primary is extremely concerning. How is it we got to a point in this country that an avowed socialist, some would say communist, is likely at this point in time to be the next mayor of our largest city, of our financial center. How does that happen? And I think that's something as a country we need to face that there is an extremely radical element within the Democrat Party that appears to be gaining control of large parts of the party, particularly in large urban centers.
Terrence Bates
Well, not to be coy, but to answer your question, if it does in fact happen, it would happen because the voters of New York would elect him. I guess the beggar question is how does that happen? How do we get to a point where New Yorkers are supporting this sort of candidate?
William Jacobson
Well, I think there you have to look at the last 30 years of our education system. That's something that we have focused on very heavily and do focus on very heavily, that for two generations we have raised people to believe that the US Is the greatest Force for evil in the world, that we are, you know, systemically racist, despite progress, obviously, that we've made, that we can't overcome it. There's something in our system that we are, you know, a colonizer. Everything. If you look at, even Now, K through 12, you look at kindergarten, this is what they're teaching the kids. And so when you raise two generations to think we're the worst country in the world and that capitalism is evil, you get voters like you have in New York City who appear to be on the verge of electing Mamdani through his ridiculous promises that this time we'll do socialism. Right. Okay. You know, everybody always says, you know, oh, no one's tried true socialism. Well, that's what he wants to try, but the history of that is disastrous. So we got here because we ceded the education system in blue states and in large cities to people who hate the country.
Terrence Bates
Rhetoric is one thing. Reality is a completely different thing. Do you foresee being able to implement some of the policies that he's espousing? It seems far fetched to me. Now, maybe I'm just pie in the sky, but it seems so far fetched to me that this would actually gain the some traction. What are you, what are your thoughts? How do you see this?
William Jacobson
Well, it does seem ridiculous to say we're going to have government run food stores. I mean, as of now, the government hands out tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in food stamps and other things like that, but we're actually going to run stores. Does anybody think that's going to work? Where has that ever worked in the world? When I was in college, I studied in the Soviet Union. The government stores were the worst. Nobody shopped there because they had nothing there. Even in the Soviet Union, it never works. And so is he going to try it? I don't know. Is he going to give out free bus passes? Where is he going to get the money for that? You know, is he going to freeze rents? That would be disastrous. He freezes rents and the supply of housing is going to shrink overnight. So none of these things can actually work. But the promise of free stuff has such an allure to voters that that is what he's capturing. People want free stuff and he's offering free stuff, but it's never going to work.
Terrence Bates
If, in fact, Mamdani does win, are you expecting his election to kind of light the fire on a new movement, or do you see it simply as a flash in the pan? And I say, if he's going to win, yes. At this point, we believe he will, but I'm just going to hold out and say if it's not decided yet.
William Jacobson
Well, you know, he's not isolated within the party. Look who's endorsed him. The governor of New York State, Kathy Hochul, has endorsed him. Bernie Sanders has been campaigning with him. I believe several other prominent Democrats have endorsed him. He is not an anomaly. He is an important, I would say the driving force, his wing of the party in the Democrat Party. And Democrats really have ceded the energy in their party to the Democratic socialists, who are just socialists, shouldn't use the word Democratic to the socialists. And that's really dangerous when one of our two major political parties is now on the verge of being controlled by people who hate the country and hate our capitalist system and want to impose socialism on us. So I don't think this is a flash in the pan. I think this is where the Democrat Party is heading.
Terrence Bates
Do you really see the Democrat Party supporting these sorts of policies, or is it an effort to simply hold on to power in hopes of controlling that power?
William Jacobson
Well, I think they will support those sort of proposals. I think that a significant portion, if not a majority, wants to completely federalize the health care system, as if they haven't done enough damage with Obamacare. So I think that this is really telling. This is where the Democratic Party is. This is where the energy is. And, you know, particularly in local races, who shows up matters, and who is showing up are the motivated Democrats, who are the socialist Democrats. And so that's really where the energy is. I think Democrats are gonna have a big problem. A lot of people have said, and I think Trump even made a comment about it, that this could be the best thing for Republicans, you know, to show the disaster that happens in a completely, almost completely Democrat city. And that might be true. I'm not convinced. I think if he destroys so much of New York, people are going to blame Republicans and Trump, et cetera. And also, do we really want to sacrifice our largest city in the country, our financial hub, on a test as to whether how much damage a socialist will do? Apparently, a lot of people in New York think we should take that risk, but I'm not in favor of that. So. So I hope he loses. But the reality is, according to every poll that's been out, is that he's likely to win with about 42 or 43%. So without even a majority, he's very likely to grab control of our largest city.
Terrence Bates
Well, we'll find out on the first Tuesday of November. Professor, good to talk to you. What a great conversation. Love your perspective. Thanks so much for being here.
William Jacobson
Thank you.
Terrence Bates
All right. All right folks, we're going to take another quick break. When we come back, Dr. Ian Tallberg joins me with some tips on staying healthy. You definitely don't want to miss that.

Welcome back everyone. Terrence Bates here. We appreciate you being here here with us for America's Voice Live. Well, let's just face it, none of us are getting any younger and staying healthy is more important than ever. Millions of Americans are looking for ways to feel better, to get in shape and to improve their overall health. Joining me now to discuss is Dr. Ian Tolberg he's here on behalf of Pure Health Research. Doc, always good to see you. So in the break, you and I were talking about biological age versus physical age, and I have to admit, yes, I'm 52 biologically or even physically, but I feel like I'm 25. I'm sure if you stuck me with a needle, it would probably say 72. So talk about the difference.
Dr. Ian Tolberg
Yeah, absolutely. So what I'll say is on our website, thepurehealthresearch.com we've got this calculator that you can go through. It takes about five, 10 minutes. You do have to answer questions truthfully, however, and it's going to give you really, an idea of where your body really is in terms of its biological age. So chronologically, yeah, I'm 49. My wife tells me, though, that I'm 12 and a half. Luckily, biologically, I'm a little older than that. But it really gives you a good place to start to say, okay, well, what do I need to work on? Do I need to lower this, lower that? What supplements do I need to be on to kind of get that biological age as low as possible? And that's really getting us to where we need to be as healthy as possible.
Terrence Bates
What sorts of lifestyles or lifestyle choices tend to advance or speed up our biological age versus our chronological.
Dr. Ian Tolberg
Yeah, you know, there's all kinds of things that just do not go well with the body. Right. I mean, we look at the types of things we ingest, the types of things that we eat, either food or liquid for that matter, and the other type of activities that we do. And unfortunately, those things can just have detrimental effects on your body. So we really need to sit down and pay attention to what we're actually doing with our bodies. So then we can change that, so then we can get feeling better, looking better, and overall living healthier.
Terrence Bates
All right, so note to self, don't eat a pack of Oreos and pound a 2 liter of mountain Dew before I come to work. Noted. So let's talk about pure health research a little bit and some of the wonderful health supplements that they have that could actually be alternatives to me eating Oreos and pounding some Mountain Dew.
Dr. Ian Tolberg
Yeah, absolutely. And here's the sad thing. I love Oreos, but, man, sometimes they get to me. So I'll talk about three major ones, and two of them I actually take daily just myself. So number one is our liver health formula. It's a great one. We've had 2 million bottles of that sold, and it is an Absolute fan favorite. So with that it can help just ignite some of that metabolism. It can really help with some of those fatty deposits in the liver, flushing out some of those toxins to just get you feeling a little bit better, a little bit more energy. Our lymph system support is a really big one. And so those struggling with that extra fluid on your ankles, your feet, you know who you are. This natural formula is going to be really good, so it can help flush out some of that fluid as well. There are other things to add to this, but that's a really great start. And finally the second one that I actually take is our blood sugar formula. This is absolutely huge. So this blood sugar formula, it just really helps to reduce your appetite, crushing some of those sugar cravings. So hopefully those Oreos won't creep into the pantry. Just makes it easier to stay away from some of that. And, and when you look at those blood sugar levels, it is so important because you look at your vision, your kidneys, your heart, your circulation system, all those things can be detrimentally affected by high blood sugar. So keeping that at bay is just a wonderful way to again try to creep down that biological age and make sure that you are living your best life.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, my dad often reminds me that youth is wasted on the young. He typically says that when it comes to a conversation about health, is it ever too early to start, start some of these supplements. Typically, you know, later on in life when we start to get those aches and pains, we say, okay, I'll take the supplements. Is it ever too early though?
Dr. Ian Tolberg
It's not too early now obviously, you know, are you going to stick an 8 year old on 12 different supplements? No, you're really not going to. But that doesn't mean that they don't necessarily need something. It kind of depends on their diet. You know, I used to be 8, I used to be 12, I know what I ate like and I know what my mom did to try to help supplement some of that, you know, so, so I wouldn't say there's everit's not too early, but you also don't want to go too extreme. You want to make sure that you are just having that healthy, well balanced diet and pay attention to how you're feeling, the headaches, just staying hydrated and being able to exercise. Pay attention to your body and let it tell you what you need.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely, Doc, always good to talk to you. For people who are interested in pure health research, where can they go to get more information or even, yeah, head.
Dr. Ian Tolberg
To PureHealthResearch.com that is definitely the best place to go. You certainly do get a nice little discount there. I'll let you plug that one, but PureHealthResearch.com great website.
Terrence Bates
All right, Doc, good to talk to you. And by the way, you said you're 48. You look 25 all day, brother. Appreciate you, man. I got you. I got you. We got to stick together, Doc. Got to stick together.
Don Brown
We're there.
Terrence Bates
There you go. Thank you so much. All right folks, again, if you're interested in any of the formulas do Dr. Tolberg just mentioned, head on over to PureHealthResearch.com you can find more information about the products. They also have a try them risk free offer there for the next 48 hours. By the way, you'll save 35% on your order with the coupon code voice. Plus will have your answers to our America's Voice question of the day. Here it is. Do you think there will be allocation of any funds into the SNAP benefits program before November 1st? We're back with what makes America Wonderful. We do these stories every single day to try to put a smile on your face before we leave you. Today's story comes to us from Hardy, Arkansas, where a police officer went well above and beyond to help a stranded family. What started as a routine trip from Colorado to Mississippi for Terry Bynum and his family quickly turned into, well, let's just put it this way, it turned on its head, the lug nuts on his family's vehicle came loose and the pyre popped right off. Stranded in the middle of Nowhere, Terry called 911 and Hardy Police Sergeant Dan Gallagher responded to the scene where he assessed the situation and eventually loaded the entire family into his police cruiser and then drove them to a motel. Get this, he didn't just stop there, though. He also paid for the family's room. The sergeant even returned to check on the family before they were able to get the car fixed and get back on the road the very next day. Terry says that he was moved by the generous compassion that he was afforded that day. Helping those in need is always a great trait to practice, but Sergeant Gallagher's generous gesture reminds us of just what makes America wonderful. What a great story. Story there. All right, folks, let's get over to our America's Voice. Question of the day. Here it is. Do you think there will be allocation of any funds into the SNAP benefits program before November 1st? Why or why not? Looking forward to your thoughts here. Kimberly Johnson, we appreciate you chiming in writing. I believe that there will be a solution because Trump does not want people going without food. I like that. And Stumpy writes, no, I don't think funds will be added. The Republicans can't fund it legally, according to Speaker Johnson. And I think the Dems want it to run out, cause pain for the people on it, inciting what they hope to become a civil war. By the way, President Trump and the Trump administration in general have said that they will not add additional funds to that program, even Though Democrats have written the Department of Agriculture and asked for that to happen. Sunshine Joe, we appreciate you chiming in writing. Most who get them don't deserve them. No illegal should get them. I think they should have to get a job and pay their own way. And Sissy Magoo chiming in writing. I would like to believe that one of the President Trump's billionaire friends will step up to make that happen. What Schumer is doing is pathetic, desperate, and he is truly a stain on humanity. Oh, I like that. Strong words there. Kellrocky38 Writing in my heart. I've done a deal of praying on it. I feel as if a midnight hour miracle is going to happen. Playing chicken with millions of people's ability to eat is not going to sit well with our president. I pray this is so. And then there's John Hogan who writes, no, I don't think there will be. Democrat number two said, this is the leverage they need. It will hurt the Democrats more when kids go home. We appreciate each and every one of you for chiming in. Thanks so much for your thoughts. No Dems want to save. Well, you just saw that there. The Dems want to save the best for last or the worst for last in this particular case. All right, let's bring in the host of our next show, Eric Bolling, to chit chat a little bit more about this. So you heard what America's Voice had to say about all of this. Eric, your thoughts? You think the Democrats are going to cave? Or are they going to try to draw a line in the sand and hold on and hurt all those people who are on SNAP benefits? Terrence, good to see you, my friend. Before you answer that, I'm told that there's a rumor running around our control room that you look so nice and put together a beautiful suit, nice tie, crisp shirt, collar popped.
Senator Ron Johnson
But you wear shorts sometimes, or maybe even jeans.
Terrence Bates
Is this true? Is this just a rumor that's floating around West Palm beach or is this actual truth? Don't believe what you hear from the. From the controller room. I'll just put it that way. I will neither confirm nor deny. I'll simply say, don't believe everything you hear from the control room. At the moment, I can confirm that I have on a full suit, pants. Very good, very good. I'll never forget, I was watching that.
Don Brown
That knucklehead Dick Morris.
Terrence Bates
One day he was on air on.
Senator Ron Johnson
Newsmax, whatever, and he literally said, I'm.
Terrence Bates
Getting a call from the President, which was bs and he gets up and he's, he's wearing like boxer shorts. Like not even shorts, underwear, boxer shirt.
Senator Ron Johnson
It was one of the most disturbing.
Terrence Bates
Things I've ever seen on television. And that is a true story, my friend.
