About 20 minutes ago we heard that the Pakistani government is looking to Trump to see if they can talk him into a two week pause. Not a 45 day pause, not a day pause, not 24. A two week pause. I'll tell you what happened folks. Crude oil, West Texas immediate crude oil was 100, 1600, 15, 16 a barrel. It just shot down 112. Market turned around. We were 4 or 500 lower across the board in both Dow and the Nasdaq and it's going to end up thousand and lower. NASDAQ and S P are going to end up higher on the day. In the last maybe 20 minutes, the news came across the wire. So Pakistan seeking a two week pause before the end of civilization. Inflation in Iran. Crypto, who knows knows what they're doing. Gold again. Taking a breather right now just watching what's happening. But all eyes are on both the oil market and the equity market. When oil goes up and it's been rocketing, equities go down, oil starts to ease. If you get two week pause, you'd probably see a lot lower prices because that leaves room for a negotiation instead of end of Iranian civilization tonight. And you'll see this other stuff trying to turn around. I just, I'm just warning you, it's just going to get all buckle up buttercup. It's going to be a bumpy, wild ride going forward. We just announced less than an hour ago that Pakistan is asking Trump for maybe a two week delay. Markets flipped, oil started to come down, markets went up. Let me have your assessment of how serious that is. And what would your, what would you recommend or advise President Trump and Pete Hegseth to do given what he said already? Go ahead.

Yeah, the escalation has really gotten out of control because the more Trump escalates, the more the terrorists, IRGC are going to escalate. And there are no off ramps. Okay. So, you know, the first one that blinks loses. And that's, that's the problem. No off ramps today. So having Pakistan come in is at least trying to say, hey, let's call let's call at least a pause in this thing, which is good. But Trump has come out so strong that he's going to basically annihilate all the infrastructure tonight. It's very difficult for him to back off of that and say, okay, well, okay, Pakistan came in, and I guess we'll listen to Pakistan. The other problem is you've got China and Russia that are key factors, in fact, bigger factors than Iran right now. China and Russia are helping with intelligence, they're helping with cyber attacks against the US and the rest of the world. In fact, China, on the other side, China's been so strong on Iran that the Hormuz Strait has been choking the oil away from China. China's come off the rhetoric and said, hey, look, guys, please release some of the. Not please, but release the oil. So you're not choking us on that piece of it. But Iran is staying. I'm sorry, Iran and the IRGC are staying steadfast. Remember, we learned a long time ago the United States, you cannot negotiate with terrorists. And that's exactly what Trump is trying to do. So if he goes in and knocks out all the infrastructure, the bridges, the desalinization plants, and the energy, then that puts us in a whole new category of hurt. You can see a tremendous amount of blowback on the United States, the American citizens, and so on, from a terrorist standpoint to other issues, cyber and so on. I would hope that if Trump does move forward, he does it like a third and said, listen, I could have taken out 100%, but I'm only taking out a third. You guys need to get to the bargaining table right now. But remember, we learned a long time ago we're dealing with an entity that has nothing to live for and everything to die for. These terrorists, they want to be martyred. That's their holy grail. So it's like, come on, do it. So it's a very, very precarious situation for everyone involved, no doubt. Unfortunately, the Iranian people.

Well, let's. Yes, yes, A civilization literally could be, you know, looking at existential crisis ending. China and Iran, two of our adversaries, maybe our two greatest adversaries. What is it in it for China besides China gets the oil, they need the oil, we get that. But what are they giving back besides petrodollars to Iran? Are they giving them technology, information, Information about the US Tell us?

They're absolutely giving them everything. They're giving them any sanctions that we put forth. China is deleting those. You know, covering those sanctions. They've Given them all types of technology. In fact, China is. China's building 10,000 of these Shahed drones every single day. I mean, 10 days, that's 100,000amonth. That's a million of these drones against our older technology, you know, firing off $3 million missiles against a $30,000 drone. And they're meant to exhaust our military capability. So we've got to learn to fight much more efficiently in this drone warfare piece of it. But make no mistake, China and Russia are completely behind Iran to weaken the United States. And that's been part of the CCP's plan, is to embroil the United States in three wars, which is Ukraine, which is the Middle east, and potentially North Korea going into South Korea, and then underneath Iran managing the terrorist organizations to keep Americans back in the homeland on their heels. So, so China continue their global aggression, namely going after Taiwan, other things in the South China Sea, and so on. This is a I, I. My message is, Dorothy, you're no longer in Kansas. The world is a tinderbox now.

So the straight of Hormuz for China needs to be open. That's how they, they're getting their shipments of oil. They, it's been choking them as well. So, but, but yet Iran, that's their, literally their only, only playing card right now. Their trump card, so to speak. No pun intended. Maybe pun intended. How's that their trump card exactly? Do they give that up for in any sort of deal?

That's honestly, that's their only lever left is to. Is Hormuz and to negotiate Hormuz. The problem is it doesn't hurt the United States other than our markets. It completely hurts China because China gets virtually all of their oil from Hormuz. 90% of their oil comes out of Hormuz. So the IRGC is really

Dumb question, Kasey. Dumb question. We don't. Very little of our oil goes through the strait. We get it other places and whatnot. Trump has made that one of the precursors to any sort of deal is that they open the straight of Hormuz. I will tell you, I've done this a long time. Oil is fungible to a certain extent the way money is. So if, if a Brent crude goes up or Amani crude goes up, eventually it'll drag up West Texas Intermediate, because at some point the difference differential is way more than transportation. And you flip your refineries. Look, it's a long process, but it still moves both things up at the Same time. But if we're not getting a lot of that oil, why is is the Strait of Hormuz such a. Such a thing for the United States?

Well, because Japan, also Asia gets their oil from Hormuz, and Japan and the rest of our allies need that oil. So we are painted into a corner. We do not want the boots on the ground. American people do not want boots on the ground. But if Hormuz does not open up in the near term, there's going to have to be boots on the ground, even Israel.

very well could be. Well, that plus remember Iraq, Iran, basically for. For decades they've said that America is the great Satan and America needs to be destroyed. The little Satan is Israel. So this regime and this ideology is anti American to its core. So they can never have the nuclear capability. So that is absolutely on the table. Secondarily is the whole oil piece of it because of Hormuz and Iran presenting and producing most of the oil for actually all of the oil for the Asian continent.

Let's bring in this guy, I think you know him from around here, the CEO and editor in chief of Just News, no Noise, my good friend, Mr. John Solomon. John, we had a little, little brief discussion offline. You really summed up something I think people aren't seeing, especially with this new news that Pakistan is looking for offering Trump a two week cease button delay is an off ramp. Tell us what you know.

Yes. So the latest news is that the Pakistani foreign minister who's been one of our primary intermediaries with Iran during these negotiations is asking for a two week reprieve from the 8pm bomb Iran to the stone ages deadline that President Trump has declared. That's his words. I get a kick when I hear that. And that is a sign that there is some movement that is substantial. What I picked up in my reporting in the last five to six days is that there's a growing schism between the remainder of the civilian leadership of the Iranian government and the irgc, its most feared military component. The IRGC last week was advocating let's go all in. We can withstand these attacks. We want to fight for death. And the Iranian civilian leadership beginning to look at the vast devastation that we have really reaped, realizes there is no military, 40,000 guys are not going to defeat the United States. That's about what the IRGC has. And so that schism began developing. And then when the pilot got shot down and the IRGC couldn't capture the American pilot even though he was on the ground for two days, they got suckered by a head fake from the CIA. The IRGC lost a little bit of street cred in Iran. And then Donald Trump hit them on Easter morning with a devastating attack that killed 50 to 70 of their top leadership again. And so I think in the balance of power inside Iran, it's been shifting over the last 72 hours towards the civilians who are more likely to make a deal than the military that would like to have a fight until death. And I think that may be what's behind the Pakistani minister's request in the dynamic that our own negotiators are seeing. I've talked to some folks close to the negotiating team. There's really constructive ideas going back and forth, not the sort of silliness and rhetoric that Iran typically offers in a negotiation. Now we have 47 years of history with Iran. Their track record is not very good, but they've never been this decimated. And it may have brought them to a sense of realistic humility and to the possibility, at least on the civilian side, that they want to make a reasonable deal. We could all live with. The IRGC still doesn't, but it's probably a little bit more diminished than it was a week ago.

You know, John, I watched the oil market history with the oil market, 35 years, trading at 15, right in the, in, in the, in the middle of it, literally for the last two weeks or so, the oil market shrugged off all the news. We're killing them, we're destroying them. We're, they're the IRGC saying the opposite. And it's just ticked higher and higher and higher. Jumped up. Last couple of days. Today's the first time I've ever seen we dropped $5 a barrel in about 15 minutes. Based on this. Like, I think they are seeing some, you know, let's call it light at the end of the tunnel. Some people want to see, you know, this, this elimination of the Iranian civilization. This might be the best thing for the world though, if we do get that two week realistic opportunity to negotiate, maybe negotiate a real ceasefire. What are your thoughts on that?

Listen, I think when you get Donald Trump, those of us who studied him and really learned the way he works, when he says he's blasting him to the stone ages, when he says he's going to end their civilization, when he drops an F bomb on them on Easter Sunday, by the way, all calculated. Anyone who suggests that he's losing his marbles, this is all calculated. He's negotiating with the Iranian regime. And most Americans who understand him now realize that, and they give him the latitude. There's always some people in the media that take him at his word on this one. What he really is doing is negotiating. But I think the President has proven time and again that he wants to be pragmatic. He doesn't want war unless it's an absolute last resort. And I think tonight we'll see potentially that side of him. If he takes this deal, maybe he doesn't take two weeks, maybe he says five days, but hey, five days will make the markets go crazy. And it would. And it would also give the Iranians a little bit of hustle to get a real deal done.

You know, five days, you know, make the market. It's like one of those compasses when There's a magnet nearby, be spinning around both ways, which is real. Kind of plays into Trump's hand there. You know, the more confusion that, that the world is feeling when he's got his, like his plan and his idea. That's a really interesting concept in your reporting in what, you know, would Trump be negotiating with the IRGC or some form of civilian makeshift government?

I think what the. And this is probably one of the most important sticking points, which is the civilian leadership's going to have to show that it can control the irgc. And a good example of that is these negotiations started and then the IRGC got one of those Stinger missiles out that they got from Russia and they took down one of our, two of our jets, actually a close in jet and then a fighter jet. And the Trump administration's like, hey, I thought you guys are starting to play nicer with us. What's this? And I think that showed the schism to everybody, the sticking point, the verification point, and some of this will be the civilian leadership being able to show that they have command and control over the IRGC generally and individually. And that's something that will be a difficult thing to do short term, long term, you start to build a track record of trust. But that's one of the many things that are sticking points. The Hormuz and how that will be regulated. It's another. The nuclear energy, will they give up the enriched nuclear materials? Which I think is a real important point for the President. That is something that's going to be a little more thorny. But I think there are some very constructive concepts going back and forth. And if the Iranians can back up their ideas, a deal like this could, could be possible in the offing. But the President also is impatient and he doesn't like to give up on deadlines he set because the deadline means a deadline to him. So he could also unleash alt night. I mean, I think both options are still very much on the table just a few hours from the deadline.

Does this offer of a two week idea of a two week delay or pause, how much does that take Trump off, what his objective is as a total annihilation as of 8:00 Eastern.

You know, I think the President always prefers a peaceful solution. He says that all the time. I prefer peace, but I'm not afraid to have the military solution front and center. I think he'll have to calculate what can be accomplished in two weeks. What is it? Does it really take two weeks? Is this real? Is it a head fake? Does it just give them time to resupply, to reattack us? Is there some agreement that Iran won't resupply and won't move assets around to be better positioned to fight America? Those are all be things that the President will be talking to his security team and his negotiators trying to find out. But if he doesn't get the deal he wants and he knows he has the upper hand now, all of the media suggesting he doesn't aside he knows he has the upper hand with Iran, he'll unleash something tonight that'll be pretty spectacular. Maybe the Iranians will be more speedy and more compliant tomorrow. But I also think if he sees verifiable things that can happen, he might do a shorter than two week window and create some opportunity there. So I mean that would be a classic Donald Trump opportunity.

Yeah, I just hope you're right in that this he, if he is going to take some sort of delay or pause that it's legit. Not this stall tactic that they've, they've done for way too long. Too long because it really messes with everything, messes with the Iranian people's lives really and our finance.

What's the going rate for institutional racism, by the way? You know there's something Almost admirable about the confidence here. Did I say almost? Because you have to be deeply committed to an idea or an ideal to watch it fail in real time and then just double down at it like it's a blackjack table. By the way, all they did was cut out DEI from the description because they know that were onto them. They know that the President Trump has said no more to that and that he'll come down hard on such policies. Class, classic leftist move. Just rebrand it, Just call it something else. No one will even notice. Zora Mamdani, that the New York City mayoral rising progressive communist star and now architect of what might be the most aggressively backwards fix to a city's decline. I always say if any of these Marxists say a word, equity, turn the television off. And if they add the word racial to it in front of that word, run. Because we know what's happening to New York. Bleeding decline. The people are leaving, companies are leaving, wealth leaving, you know, pretty much all the signs that a blue city is in charge of things and endless crime and illegals sucking up whatever resources are left. And you've completed the picture. The exodus loud and clear, not subtle. This is a poor, not a trickle. High taxes, overregulation, rising crime, always there, still there. And there's a strong sense that the people running the place don't actually like the people paying for the place. So naturally the solution is more of all of it. And poor man Obama's latest grand Marxist plan, the affordability, housing, cost of living, economic policy to something he calls racial economic equity. Wow. Now don't run away, yell. I only said to run if he says you're safe here with me. Equity. Well, what he should be saying about equity, it's one of those words that's been so thoroughly workshopped, polished, PR'd, that no one even stops to ask what it really means anymore. But here's what it boils down to. More government offices, more bureaucrats, more six figure DEI administrators, more rules, more layers between you and just living your life. In other words, more cost. And here's the part that's most almost impressive at the exact time that people are leaving New York because it's too expensive, too over regulated, too taxed, suffocating under its own bureaucracy. The proposal in New York is to build an entire new system that makes it even more expensive, even more regulated and even more bureaucratic bs. Great idea, Zoran Zobama. It was Obama. You like that? It's like watching someone try to put out a fire with gasoline and then blaming the Fire for not cooperating. Oh, the tax piece. The chef's kiss to the communists who put this all together. He is a communist. I'm sorry. Democratic socialist. What's the difference? There is none. The city is losing high earners. Tax base is shrinking. So what's the move? Tax the people who haven't left even more.

Amidst being in the wealthiest city in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, we already see an exodus of working in middle class New Yorkers. So I don't have a hesitation in asking those who make the most amount of money in the city or the most profits in the city to pay a little bit more so that everyone can actually stay in this city. It's also something not just about justice or, or the ability for working class people to live here. It is also actually, actually about ensuring that corporations can continue to attract the top talent to this city.

Did you hear that word he used? So Ran Mamdani, the lover of all things Islam, used the word exodus in the city with a whole heck of a lot of Jews. Wow. Yep. Because nothing says please stay like shaking down the last people staying. It's like a hostage situation at this point. And there's a magical thinking baked in that if you squeeze a little harder, regulate a little bit more, redistribute more poof, companies will come back running. But why, Zoran? Why would they come back? Nostalgia? Guilt? No. A deep love of paperwork? No. They miss the rats.
