This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. All righty, folks, 4 o' clock Wednesday. Markets have closed. Why don't we take a look here across the board. Dow Jones earlier it was down. This morning it was down quite a bit. Trump was in Davos. He started talking about Greenland. And I will tell you, the minute he said that we were not going to use force to take Greenland, it was about 300 lower. In the Dow. It went from down 300 to even. And look at this, right now we're sitting at almost 500, 550 points higher on the Dow. S P decent day, 78 higher. Nasdaq up 270 points. Jumping over to the oil markets, still a little, you know, kind of finding a home at 60. We'd like to see that lower. We may see that soon. And gold, gold was up $150 an ounce earlier still ended the day 80, 80, sorry, $60 an ounce higher. Silver backed off just a touch, just a little bit. Precious metals very, very strong across the board. Crypto, another one. Down most of the down big time yesterday, down most of the morning. Next, you know, Trump was talking about not using force to take Greenland and things turned around. Crypto bounced back up to about unchanged for the day. While President Trump arrived in Davos, Switzerland after his plane had to turned around for a minor electrical issue. He spoke at the World Economic Forum. I'm sure we've seen this all day, but this is really, really good. He spoke for 70 minutes, covered everything from international topics such as Greenland. The big, the big kahuna was Greenland. Talked about Russia and Ukraine to US Issues discussing the Somali invasion in Minnesota, talked about the price of gas. He wants the gas price even lower than it already is. He also talked about how well he's doing in this term versus the first term and how bad it was in between those two terms. He spoke on much of these things, some of the accomplishments, but let's take a look. A little soundbite for you.

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of my inauguration. And today, after 12 months back in the White House, our economy is booming, growth is exploding, productivity is surging, investment is soaring, incomes are rising, inflation has been defeated. Our previously open and dangerous border is closed and virtually impenetrable. And the United States is in the midst of the fastest and most dramatic economic turnaround in our country's history.

And you know, Mark Rev, chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn has been in Davos all week and he joins us right now. Brian, tell us what went on today.
C (2:45)
Thanks, Eric. We are Just outside the USA house here. Oddly enough it is basically a church. Looks like a long time church, but that is along the main strip here in Davos. And there is another USA house that's just down the road. That is where they've had a lot of one on one meetings and various meetings with Trump Admin there as well as we have seen an enormous attendance here@davos 2026. Now let's flip the camera around real quickly. I'll kind of show you. The way it's positioned is up and down this street normally there would be businesses. Well during Davos these businesses kind of switch, remove their, their brand and insert corporate America countries as well. I'll pan off to the left right there. You'll recognize that name right, right there on that building that is in Palantir set up here at Davos. But what makes I guess Davos interesting is it very much as a combination of government and big corporate business coming together to work on policies that they can perhaps put in place to better society. At least that is the main purpose for that. Now if we go towards President Trump's speech today, it started out very much what I would think would be a normal Trump speech. Did talk about the 2020 election, talked about how it was a rigged election and that that will never happen again. Also hinted around and even said it that perhaps he's breaking some news that there will be accountability for that 2020 election and the fraud that took place. So we kind of hit it around with that. But in terms of protesters earlier and I'll flip it back around here so you can give you an idea where they were. They were right out front here. They've got this whole area petitioned off for the crowds to gather. Obviously being in front of the USA House is something that's a lot, drew a lot of attention here. People wanted to stop and see. I just did an interview with Nigel Farage a little bit earlier. Scott Bessant had been there as well. So a lot of people drawn to this USA House as you would think here at Davos. Now as we go into tomorrow, President Trump scheduled to deliver brief remarks tomorrow in regards to, to his attendance here@davos 2026. But this is one of those events, Eric, that, you know, when it was announced, you have to kind of scratch your head for a second and say why is President Trump going to this World Economic Forum? This has quite honestly been one of those events that we used to kind of vilify. We used to kind of blame all the problems in the world on this conference and all of the elite coming together that thinks they know better about how to manage society than we do. But this time, I think President Trump really, in his speech, really hammered down the fact that this is a new era, this is almost a new age of what you would call a new world order. And President Trump kind of bringing America back to the forefront and respect around the world, not only economically, but militarily as well. Cars continue to come down here. If you want to get an idea on the traffic last night leaving this area, going back to a hotel, they to go 0.6 miles, Eric. It took us an hour and a half back to you guys.
