Maduro is running out of options. Maduro begs OPEC for help as Trump ramps up the pressure. And I heard that China and Russia have just bailed on him, which that's gonna suck. That's gonna suck to make a deal with China and Russia that, hey, obviously I'm close to America. They don't like me. If they do anything, do you have my back? Yes, we do. And then now, now Trump's making moves and you text them and then it's just on read or read video. Let's bring in retired four star general Jack Keane, former Army Vice Chief of Staff, the chairman of the Institute for the Study of War and Fox News Senior Strategic Analyst. General, it's great to have you with us and I do want to get your thoughts on what we Just heard about that strike. But I really want to begin with what we're doing. We just showed everyone at home the amassing of naval ships in the region. We've got 15,000 troops in the region as well right now, you know. President Trump, according to reporting in Reuters and the Miami Herald, offered Maduro on a phone call safe passage if he resigns immediately. They reported that Trump rejected Maduro's request for global amnesty and that he rejected Maduro's request to retain military control in return for free elections. The pressure is. Is on him. What's your assessment of this situation right now, General?

Yeah, well, strategically, what I think is occurring here, the President has made up his mind looking at South America and Latin America in general, which is the source of so much of the narco trafficking. The poison that's coming into our country to include fentanyl, which has horrific death rates in the country, to take a very comprehensive approach to it. So for fentanyl, they've gone to China and told China to stop it. They did it in the first administration too, but China did it anyway. China has agreed to stop it. And that goes into Mexico and to manufacturing centers there and produces the fentanyl drug that's killed so many Americans. That is part of the plan here. The other plan is pressure on Colombia, pressure on other countries to shut down their narco trafficking. And we're putting more military presence to interfere with it. What we're seeing here is a very visible problem with one country and its leader, because the government and Maduro and narco trafficking are one and the same. And that is the reality here. And so that's what you see here. This show of force, this military there is not there, not there to kill speedboats. It's there to demonstrate to Maduro that it's in your best interest to voluntary leave. The President has already made up his mind. I believe that regime change is what is. Is called for here. And so our Viewers understand, in 1989, President George H.W. bush directed a regime change in Panama of Noriega. He was indicted in this country for narco trafficking and for human trafficking. He felt completely justified in physically removing him from power by conducting an invasion to do that regime change. In 94, just a few years later, President Clinton did much the same thing dealing with Haiti when a military dictator took over and removed a democratically elected president. The mission was to restore that democratically elected president to power. That was Aristide. Presidents have acted strongly in the Western hemisphere dealing with the regime change because they know if they don't take it. It affects the security of the American people and that's what people got to get their heads around here. This, this president is dead serious about making certain that the poison that is coming in and killing us. He's conducting a comprehensive campaign. The ships, the airplanes and the rest of it is focused on Maduro principally, but the campaign is much, much larger than that. Yeah, well, I applaud the efforts. I mean, we've been wringing our hands about this for years, Martha. Not doing much about it. No, I think, and you're so right. Clearly we want Maduro to voluntarily get out of there. But the president has a lot of options. Options. And certainly Maduro is much aware of what those options are. Yeah. Much of what happens here is likely more in Maduro's hands than anybody else's. And Maria Machado, who is an opposition leader, said exactly as much. Let's play this quickly. This is from an appearance that she had the other day. Watch. We have asked for years international community to cut these sources that come from drug trafficking and other criminal activities. Finally this is happening and he has been warned what not to do. These deaths are the responsibility of Nicolas Maduro. So that's Machado putting these deaths in these boat strikes squarely on Maduro because I think Jack may have lost to Jack Lew's audio the general.

He'S got to hear you faintly, but go ahead, make it out. All right. So we just played Machado saying all of these deaths in these boat strikes fall squarely on the shoulders of Maduro. In her opinion. She's the Nobel prize winning opposition leader. I just want to ask you quickly on the way out here, General, if you can hear me, ok, your thoughts on this issue of the strike. Jackie Heinrich just got us up to speed on the reporting there with regard to the Secretary of War's decision and the Admiral who made the decision in the moment on those broad strikes on September 2nd.

Yeah. Well, first of all, I think we should just hold our fire here a little bit and let's get on with an investigation. I think the Pentagon should do the investigation. They do a lot of these things in the past and they're very good at getting the facts out with all the variables and complexities that are involved here. And things are flying around by people that just don't know what they're talking about. A couple of examples, if you have an operation on the ground and you have wounded soldiers as a result of it, of course we don't kill those wounded soldiers because we're in control. Actually the obligation is to take them prisoner and after our wounded is treated, treat those as wounded and evacuate them. But these are isolated events, airstrikes done sometimes on the ground or sometimes at sea and there's nobody there in control of the situation. This is Biden talking border and drugs in 1989. Roll it. Every president for the past two decades, Democrat and Republican alike, has declared war on drugs. And each of them has lost that war and lost it miserably. They lost because they attempted to deal with only part of the drug problem. They lost because their initiatives were pulled apart by bureaucratic squabbling among their advisors. They lost because they always did too little and they did it too late. We don't oppose the president's plan. All we want to do is strengthen it. We don't doubt his resolve. All we want to do is stiffen it. The trouble is that the president's proposals are not big enough to deal with the problem. We think we should do more to stem the flow of drugs across our borders. And we think we should go one step further. Let's go after the drug lords where they live with an international strike force. There must be no safe haven for these narco terrorists, and they must know it. We have to lock up the dealers for a long, long time, and we have to attack the source from which the drugs come. And we have to do that not a piece at a time, but all at once. And we have to do it now. And there's not any reason why we can't do that. We have the power, we have the money, and we have the knowledge. So there's Biden calling for the exact same policies of Trump next.

That's government regulation. So they have to add in this thing that nobody wants that shuts your car off. I mean I hate that sound. It's like it like turns your car gay in a way. And so you have to, you have to hit that button. So you take that out. That's. Let's say it costs $2,000 to put that feature in a car for Ford. Well, if you make it where they don't have to do it now, that's $2,000 off the price. And you keep taking stuff away that nobody wanted and the price is lowered. Continue.

You understand that she sent a text message to a friend calling A guy who assaulted her, a faggot, and 11 cops came in for a private text message. That's where you're at in the UK right now.
