You can see the shooter walk toward.

The victim appearing to briefly glance down as he lay dying on the sidew, turning to cross the street, then starting to run, disappearing down an alley. This week, new evidence is being revealed in court as accused killer Luigi Mangione sits and watches after a shooting, gunshots fired there at the home of Tim Pool, who of course is known as a big political commentator with millions upon millions of fans on different social media platforms.
Harmeet Dhillon
Meanwhile, two new polls show a notable number of young Americans accept some form of political violence, a shift from generations before them. In its biannual youth poll, the Harvard Institute of Politics revealed that 39% of Americans ages 18 to 29 showed some acceptance of political violence, while a poll from Gallup and the Kettering foundation shows 30% of 18 to 29 year olds say political violence is sometimes okay. That's the highest portion of any age group. The Supreme Court says it will hear an expedited appeal of President Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship by executive order. The court did not explain its decision, and the case will likely be heard next spring. For more than 100 years, courts, you know, interpreted the Constitution to give us citizenship to anyone born on American soil, regardless of the legal status of the parents. Now, that may hang in the balance. Should they be allowed to buy Warner Brothers?
Colton Moore
Should?
Jack Posobiec
Well, that's the question. They have a very big market share. And when they have Warner Brothers, you know, that share goes up a lot. So I don't know that's going to.
Colton Moore
Be for some economists to tell.
Jack Posobiec
And also, and I'll be involved in that decision.
They have a very big market share. All right, Jack. We are back live Human Events Daily Real America's voice. Today is December 8, 2025, Anno Domini Ave Maria, folks. President Trump, you just heard him winding in there and stepping in, saying that the Netflix deal with Warner Brothers could have some problems. And this, of course, amid the massive Stranger Things scandal, the Obama scandal that has been coming out over to light over the last couple of weeks, really, since I would say Thanksgiving is when this all rolled out. And what we've done, by the way, here at Human Events Daily is we took that portion of us breaking down how all of this ties together from Thought Crime last week. And we've released that as a special episode so that everyone can go and dig in. If you don't want to listen to the whole episode, that's fine. Just dig in. We've released it as a separate standalone special on. And I'm just calling it out. I'm calling it out for what it Is Netflix put pedo programming in Stranger Things. Now I can't sit here and say that Barack Obama, Michelle Obama ordered that. But what I can also see, and what we can all see, the world can see, is that Barack Obama, Michelle Obama signed a massive deal with Netflix going all the way back to what, 28. Then when Susan Rice left, the Biden administration came back to Netflix. They extended the Obama's deal with Netflix. So do you wonder when did Netflix get so woke? Why did every single thing they do have to turn into gay race communism? Why did every single adaptation have to become racial and lgbt? Why did everything that Netflix did, especially for kids, have to be lgbt? Well, it's interesting because if you track the trajectory of Stranger Things, you say, all right, season one. Amazing, right? So good. And it was a show about small town mystery, throwing a sci fi element, super 1980s nostalgia vibes, instant hit. They even talked about MK Ultra back in the back in them their days. But then all of a sudden the show just got, and I'm going to say it again, the show got gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer. And now season five, you've basically got gay Darth Vader versus gay Luke Skywalker. And they go back and throw in this thing with Will when he was a little kid. So they go back to season one. Completely disgusting, utterly revolting. And anyone who saw this with eyes to see knows exactly what I'm talking about. I don't want to be League of the Point, but they did this. And you can't separate the Obama's influence from what they did and for what is in the number one show around the world. And so we're going to call it out and Netflix, they can do whatever they want. But so Netflix, here's the state of play. So Netflix had the bid in to Warner Brothers and said, well, we don't want all the TV channels, we don't want CNN, we don't want TNT, we'll give you 83 billion. Now Paramount comes out this morning and says, you know what, we'll put in 108 billion. Hostile offer, goes straight to the shareholders, bypasses the board, bypasses all the woke lefties that they have up there who are tight with the Obamas because they know who's on the board. Susan Rice is on the board. Susan Rice, who's Obama's board member on Netflix. That's why Paramount is bypassing them because they know Susan Rice is going to block anything. So they say more money, more, more shareholder value, more dollars per share rate, 30s versus 23 and. And every single aspect of Warner Brothers would be in this deal. And what did President Trump say last night at the Kennedy Center? He said the deal could have big problems because of the antitrust issues going in with too much market share to the streamers. Plus, he even came out today and said he's not too happy with Paramount either because of what they're doing with CBS in 60 Minutes. Folks, we're in the hunt on this thing. We're absolutely in the hunt. And President Trump has everyone exactly where he wants them. Right back. Human Events Daily continues.

Now it's time for everyone to understand what America first truly welcome to the second American Revolution.
All right, Jack Paso, we are back live here, Human Events Daily. Real America's voice, folks, if you use Gmail, ChatGPT @&t DoorDash, or Comcast, you are now at a critically elevated risk level. And it's just the last few months, there have been.
There have been confirmed major security breaches at each of these companies. The leaks exposed names, emails, addresses, phone numbers and Behavioral patterns that scammers rely on to target who you. Data brokers publish detailed profiles on every single American adult. Your home, your family, your habits, your age, your income, your online footprint. Everything. Scammers need to calculate whether you're a profitable target. Don't believe it. Google your name and address and you'll see hundreds of websites publishing your intimate details of your life. That's unless you use Patriot Protect. And Patriot Protect removes your personal data from the Internet, wiping it from Google and every major site where scammers, cyber criminals and stalkers hunt for victims. You'll never agree. You never agreed to share this info. Now you can take it back. Patriot Protect scans and deletes your personal information from 100/plus people, search engines and data brokers. These are the exact sites scammers use to case you before they strike. Once your profile is eliminated, their search and destroy protocol runs continuous monitoring. So every new exposure is detected and wiped immediately. It's the peace of mind from having your own security team. All for the cost of keeping your porch lights on. Because the only thing worse than getting hacked is knowing you could have stopped it. So use promo code POSO for 15% off the yearly subscription. Again, that's promo code POSO for 15% OFF. Very excited now to welcome on our next guest, the assistant Attorney General for civil rights, Harmeet Dhillon. Harmeet, how are you?
Harmeet Dhillon
I'm great. Thanks for having me, Jack.
Jack Posobiec
Thank you. And I must, I must say right off the top, that is a lovely sweater.
Harmeet Dhillon
Thank you very much. Vintage 2021. Knit it myself. It's the holiday season. Festive.
Jack Posobiec
That's what I was going with with the flannel today. And here I thought I would be the only one. So I'm glad that we were of the same mind on that.
Harmeet Dhillon
Y. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Jack Posobiec
We're all. We're all kicking back. I wanted to get in. You've put forward an incredible. This. There's this new case and you're really at the head of it regarding the states and regarding voter rolls. Give us an update on that because I understand it's expanding, right?
Harmeet Dhillon
Well, you know, it's a tedious process because each of these states has to be contacted, negotiated with under our deadlines and rules and then sued individually. So we started this project months ago. We have demanded the voter rolls from 50 states. Some of them stepped up and immediately or with a little bit of pushing, complied. So that's four states. We sued one and one a settlement. That's North Carolina. We are close to reaching resolution with a dozen states. And we will be getting their data and helping them clean up their voter rolls very shortly. And then finally, we've sued 14 states in 15 lawsuits. California got sued twice, once Orange county and once statewide. And they're fighting our lawsuits. These are mainly blue states. These are blue states routinely and freely share their voter data with groups like ERIC and other organizations. But they somehow claim that the DOJ and the United States government doesn't have a secure system for maintaining this data, even though much of the important data we're requesting comes from the federal government, like Social Security numbers. And we have databases that we run this information through and we found some pretty shocking things. So I'm glad that this project is moving along now.
Jack Posobiec
Well, that's actually, that's absolutely incredible. And it's something that's, that's needed. Obviously, President Trump made that a key point and a key plank of the 2024 election. And for so many people saying, oh, you know, where's the results? Well, obviously you're sitting there, you're getting them. I also wanted to call out because I hadn't even seen this really reported beyond what you had had said already just on Twitter, the new two a section of the Civil Rights Department, a new second Amendment section. Walk us through that.
Harmeet Dhillon
Yeah. Well, this is historic. And for some reason the fake news media doesn't like to really amplify what we're doing at the doj. But ever since I got here, I joined other patriots here in this great organization institution, including the Attorney General, trying to figure out ways that we can highlight and expand the work that we're doing. And luckily the Supreme Court has given us some good tools with the Bruin decision three years ago and other decisions that have made it clear that the second Amendment is not a second class right. That's what the Attorney General is very fond of saying about this issue. And so so far I've gone to court and personally argued against Illinois's so called assault weapons ban. I also have helped with the Solicitor General's briefing in the Wolford case in Hawaii challenging their ludicrous restrictions over there. And we have sued Los Angeles county for unreasonable delays in issu concealed carry permits that under Bruin are supposed to be issued very quickly. I got mine here in D.C. in six days. So kudos to them for following the law. And other cases are planned all over the country. There are states that have unreasonable restrictions, not just blue states or some red states with some outdated restrictions on there that are inconsistent with the law. Some states charge Thousands of dollars to even apply for a concealed carry permit. This is not constitutional. And this focus is important. Now, I got some pushback from Democrat members of con Congress about this because we have to float this through Congress before we set up a new section. So there's a lot of hurdles, a lot of paperwork. They're like, why do we need a Second Amendment section? And to ask the question shows you why we need it. Because if you're not aware of how restrictive it is, I may have concealed carry, which I do in D.C. but the minute you cross over a state line, suddenly you're at risk for being arrested because of some dumb rule in a different jurisdiction here in D.C. as a woman, I can't carry that weapon in my purse. I have to carry it on my purse. And so there's some restrictions here that really make us more vulnerable unnecessarily. And so there are a lot of things that we're going to be looking at. I won't tip our hand, but expect a lot of activity from the Second Amendment section and a lot of commitment from this DOJ to eliminating unnecessary state laws that interfere with this fundamental right of law abiding citizens to carry and bear and use arms.
Jack Posobiec
Well, no, I just want to. I'm actually thinking about this as you're saying this, that you're talking about the Department of Justice Second Amendment section. We've had the Second Amendment for as long as we've had the United States. It dates back to 1791 in the original ratification of the Constitution. This isn't the first time we've had a Second Amendment section under the Attorney General, though, is it? Surely can't be.
Harmeet Dhillon
It is. It is. This Attorney general did it and approved it, and I'm so proud to be part of it. The Civil Rights Division is where it's housed because we safeguard America's civil rights, but we work with lawyers from other parts of the government as well. And so, you know, there's a lot of focus on this. A lot of us are weapons owners in the political appointees of the DOJ and of course in other sections of the government. So we personally have experienced the discrimination. I came from California. I have two firearms from California that now California is trying to ban. So it is a constant whack, a mole with these states trying to restrict rights to buy ammo. And a Glock is not safe. And this gun should be designed that way. Suddenly they're gun designers too. So this is insane. I know there's a lot of frustration from our beloved Second Amendment activists out there. My former law firm used to do a lot of work for some of the leading gun organizations. So we hear from them. But it is an important priority of the doj, and I hope people will give us some grace as we get moving on this.
Jack Posobiec
You know, that's, that's so interesting you mentioned this, because.
I can't say anything about this publicly, but I recently also had a pitch for, totally separate from this, but recently had a pitch to a major national conservative organization that I know is undergoing a process of expansion and they are talking about having, adding a pro life section. And I said, guys, you know, I would love to see a Second Amendment vertical because I think it's just something that, for, for a variety of reasons, but really since the Bruins, the Bruin decision I think has kind of taken a second, you know, maybe taken a backseat to a lot of other discussions that are out there and certainly very worthy discussions that have, have all been held. Civil rights on every front need to be upheld. There's no question for every American. But does stand, stand to bring it back forward that the Second Amendment rights that we have won one defense of through a variety of these decisions absolutely need to be upheld. And you're exactly right. When, when you talk about some of the states, are there, are there any in particular that you would consider to be the largest violators?
Harmeet Dhillon
California is really bad. New York, Illinois, you know, the usual what we expect. You would, you would expect and.
Jack Posobiec
Well, actually, I mean, let me, let me rephrase that. Rephrase that. Are there any red states that we wouldn't expect, but actually are?
Harmeet Dhillon
Yeah, I'm not going to comment on that. You know, whenever, before we file a lawsuit against a state, we usually try to reach out and give them a chance to fix things. Sometimes they do. So I think that's the fair and efficient way to do things. We don't just like go quote, unquote, pardon my pun, guns a blazing into federal court. We usually try to work things out first. And why this is so important. I'll just give you one stat. The United States Supreme Court has had seven times the number of decisions on First Amendment cases versus Second Amendment. And so these rights do not defend themselves. It requires constant vigilance from private lawyers and now the United States to help protect this important right. And I'm really proud of it. And look, this is done under President Trump's leadership and Attorney General Bondi's leadership. Who knows what the future holds. But I can promise you that for the balance of this administration. This is going to be a top priority for the Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice.
Jack Posobiec
Well, and there's so much jurisprudence and there's, so there's outlet after outlet for defending the First Amendment as a civil right. And it certainly is. But when it comes to the Second Amendment, we, you know, we get told, oh, that's a conservative thing, but it's not. The founding Fathers certainly didn't see it that way. They saw it as a human right. And something I always say is that it is the right to self defense. And the right to self defense is the expression, is the outward expression of the right to life of the individual, that if you have that right, then you ought to be able to defend it. And that is what the Second Amendment is all about. In addition, by the way, to all of the other elements of the Second Amendment. Coming up on a quick break, but we will have more when we continue after that with Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon. Incredible news. A Second Amendment division section under the Department of Justice for the first time. And well, it's America's 250/2. We're going to just say it. I said in 250 years, Second Amendment Division. God bless America. Thank you to AG Bondi and thank you President Trump right back.

Where's Jack?
All right, Jack. We are back. Live human events daily. Folks, you know, I've been telling you, you have to pay attention to what's happening with the dollar debt, central banks, cryptocurrency, it's all piling up when things get rocky. Gold has always been the safe haven. But now gold is not just defensive, it's an offensive asset. It's already over $4,000 an ounce and analysts are forecasting could go over 5,000. And silver just hit another all time high. That's when I why I've been working with my partners at Allegiance Gold for the past three years. Years. Give them a call. 844-577-7676 or visit protectwithposo.com that's 844-577-7676 or protect with poso.com Protect your future. Stand with me, fighting for America. By the way, they have great gifts for Christmas. All right, back on with assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dhillon. And Harmeet, I wanted to ask you, it's sort of a, sort of a two part question. So number one, which of course they always tell us don't ask two part questions. Number one, we've seen evidence of, oh well, we've seen reporting on this memo of the Department of Justice putting out regarding the national Security Memo, memo seven that came out in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, September 11. I believe it was signed the day after by President Trump. Now new memo coming out in in support of that directing the JTTFS to prioritize domestic political extremism, domestic violence. And we we're now also seeing the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics says that while a strong majority of young Americans reject political violence, some see it as acceptable under certain circumstances with with 28% now of young Americans saying that political violence is acceptable when the government violates individual rights, acceptable when it promotes extreme beliefs, say it is acceptable when someone else encourages violence or say it is acceptable when peaceful protests fail to accomplish their goals. So it seems like we're seeing this number and I Believe Gallup and YouGov have also put out similar polls saying that we're seeing a growing, growing pile of evidence that this is on the upswing. Is that related to the memo, if you can tell us, and just in general, your thoughts on how the Civil Rights Division is responding to all of this.
Harmeet Dhillon
Well, the memo is a reaction to the actual terrorism that we've seen in this country. Number of violent threats, and President Trump has been shot at and shot, and of course, our friend Charlie's murder. And so you see the Luigi situation and so many others. And this does not surprise me. And there are a number of reasons. So, first of all, there has been a trend of Marxism in our schools and in our colleges that has led to this anarchy and nihilism and this belief that our fundamental principles are not important anymore. They don't even know about them. If you were to ask someone, what is the 13th amendment, what does that guarantee? What is equal protection? What is the First Amendment like? People don't even learn anything relevant. They're presented with maps that don't show Israel on them. And there are a lot of other crazy things happening in our schools. And then you have attacks on free speech. So a few years ago, I got concerned when I saw polls that showed that a lot of college students believe that it's okay to shout out or prevent other people from speaking if you don't agree with them. That's fundamentally at odds with the First Amendment, which is such an important part of our nation that founding. You have all of these kids who grew up in the last several years, didn't get to go to school for years, were kept at home in isolation, played video games. And violence is something theoretical to them. And they haven't really experienced it until they do it. They don't know what happens when you do it. And they don't have any particular respect for law enforcement. Law enforcement itself is not particularly present in many of our cities. And people think that there are no consequences for the use of violence to impose your political will on people who disagree with you. They even see that if you were to look at it a little bit in the abstract, in what happened in the prosecution of President Trump four times, all these alternate electors, they couldn't find this pipe bomber for five years, and yet they were somehow able to use the exact same cell phone data and subpoenas and pings and towers to round up hundreds of.
Jack Posobiec
Well, and we've seen this rise of political violence, and I think we may have little political, or, excuse me, electronic hiccup there with AAG Harmey Dhillon and so work to get her back up. But what I'm reading in this, and it, it's, look, guys, it's no, it's no secret that we've been seeing the rise of political violence in the United States. I wrote an entire book about it last year. And when you write a book on the thesis of the rise of Marxism and the fact that we are in what I called at the time asymmetric civil warfare or an irregular Marxist revolution, an irregular Marxist color revolution, that the question is, and look, we got so much flack for writing that book and saying that was coming out. Well, was it predictive? And unfortunately it was. Do we have harmeet back? Guys.
Harmeet Dhillon
I'm here.
Jack Posobiec
There we go. And I'll give you the final minute to wrap up. Not sure what happened there. A couple. Maybe it was that corrupt data that Steve d' Antonio was working on.
Harmeet Dhillon
Yeah, I don't know what happened. Anyway, the big point is this trend is not surprising. We've seen all the evidence. We've ignored antifa. We've ignored a lack of respect for the First Amendment. We've allowed this type of violence to fester in our country. Law enforcement doesn't do enough in our cities. Prosecutors don't prosecute it. And this sort of lawlessness and anarchy and division, frankly, in our country is concerning. And certainly the DOJ is going to take a look at the law enforcement side of it. But all Americans need to work together to, I think, really agree that political violence is never acceptable in our country, whether you're right or whether you're left and insist on that and enforce that norm.
Jack Posobiec
And it's really as simple as that. And we were there with Erica Kirk just last night, spent the weekend with her in Turning Point usa. And as I'm going through the Christmas holidays with my wife and kids, it's something that really always sticks in the back of my mind that Charlie's kids and his wife will not be able to do that because of leftist political violence. Harmony Dhillon, thank you so much for joining us here on Human Events Daily.
Harmeet Dhillon
Thanks for having me, Jack.

Amen. And congrats again on the new sweater, folks. We write back. Human Events Daily continues. Your microscopics.

But before that, before we introduce our guest, want to tell you guys about another partner that you need to be. Need to be going to this Christmas for all your family, your friends. You need to dig into this. It's very important. So not only will this be a gift that you can give them that makes a great gift, but it'll also be a gift that's very important. Because let's face it, folks, these days, your phone is a tracking device. Go look at all the J6 investigations. We know this. I'm gonna bring him on now. This is huge, big announcement. I believe this is the first televised interview where you've heard this announcement. So we really appreciate being able to get that exclusive. That's big in the business here for Human Events Daily. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the program. Senator Colton Moore, state senator out of the great state of Georgia. Colton, how are you?
Colton Moore
Jack, we're back. And we're back, bigger and better than ever. We are running for Congress in Georgia's 14th congressional district MTG. She's left the seat vacant. That's going to make a vacuum in Washington D.C. and we've taken the fight in Georgia like no one else has. We're 100% pro Trump. Remember, we were the very first to call for a special session to review the fraud in the 2020 election. We were the first to go after Fani Willis to defund investigate her. Our fight was so hard there that the rhinos even kicked us out of the Republican caucus. You know, we've been fighting to lower cost and lower taxes and we want to bring that fight to Washington D.C.
Jack Posobiec
Well, not only did they, they kick you out of the caucus, they, they physically tried to kick you out. And I believe that was, we're coming up on about the one year anniversary of that. Right?
Colton Moore
We are. President Trump and I have a mug shot from the exact same camera at the Fulton County Jail. Both of us for defending freedom of spe.
Jack Posobiec
Oh my goodness. And look, I'll never forget the scenes that day. And you know when that, when that played out and it was just, it was just unbelievable. So when, now this is the MTG seat that we're talking about now. I understand that that's coming up. So can you explain for the audience, will this be a special election or is this going to be later on at the end of the term for a regular 26, 2026 election, how are the mechanics of this looking?
Colton Moore
So ultimately there's could be three elections between now and May 19th because it's like you said, it's going to be a special election. Now, we won't know when those election dates are until Rhino Governor Kemp announces when they are, but they could be as early as February 15th and they could be as late as March 15th. So it's going to be a short run election. That's why we're hitting the ground early today with our announcement.
Jack Posobiec
And so that, so that hasn't yet. That is yet to be set. And I remember this was now folks will remember that when we talked about this recently, there was a case where it looked like it would ended up not happening. But at least Stefanik was about to step down. She was about to enter the Trump administration for a huge variety of issues that ended up not happening, but it looked like there was going to be. Now that's up in New York State. So Kathy Hochul was about to call a special election out there as well. So you're waiting for Governor Kemp to be able to set that schedule, is that right?
Colton Moore
Yeah, that's right. But that doesn't stop us from, from raising money and getting the campaign underway like we announced this morning. We're running headstrong into this race. 100% of my state Senate district is within Marjorie Taylor Greene's congressional district. So that gives us an upper hand right off the bat. You know, it's the same kind of folks, though, from across the district, the people that I represent in the most extreme part of Northwest Georgia, the same kind of folks all throughout the district. You know, these are the most conservative people in the entire United States. And we demand that we have a conservative leader in Washington.
Jack Posobiec
Now, of course, President Trump played a huge role in, I would say, bringing about this current situation for a variety of reasons. President Trump, of course, well loved in the district. Do you know or have you had any conversations with President Trump or his political team as pertains to this race? Yeah.
Colton Moore
So, Jack, last week we went to the White House and met with his team there, spoke for about 45 minutes. You know, we gave him the full timeline, everything that we've done for President Trump from when I first got elected to the state House of Representatives. I mean, obviously they were very impressed. What I took away from that meeting is ultimately, I don't think think that they're going to endorse against us. They'll likely remain neutral in that fact. But we're obviously asking for President Trump's endorsement. Nobody has been a harder fighter for President Trump in Georgia, I mean, in colloquy, state senators even call me Trump's floor leader in the Georgia Senate. Right. For going after Fani Willis the way we did and making sure that President Trump's agenda is reflected at the state level, just as it is at the national level. Remember, I was the one who went into the Atlanta airport and James o' Keefe style busted up in there and what Joe Biden had set up like a construction area and exposed the illegal immigrants that were going through Atlanta. They could either walk out onto the streets of Atlanta or, you know, these NGOs were purchasing tickets and flying them all across the country. You know, Jack, I'm not afraid of the devil like you. I've got the gospel on my side, and we're gonna do whatever it takes to defend freedom, to make sure the next generation gets to experience what we've been blessed with.
Jack Posobiec
And in fact, by the way, I believe the guys have up that video of last year when you showed the entire world just how willing you were to fight for the freedom of the people. For folks who don't know, can you just give us sort of the elevator version of what went down?
Colton Moore
Yeah. So the speaker of the House, anti Trump, John Burns, basically we were having the state, the state address where the governor comes in and gives his remarks on the state of the state. He said, Senator Colton Moore is not allowed on the House floor. Well, constitutionally, you know, we're having a joint session. I have a constitutional obligation to be there. And that guy who you see throwing me down, that's the speaker of the House's attorney. So we do a little bit more investigation. Turns out his name is Keith Williams. He's not even past the bar in Georgia, and he's called the general counsel of the speaker of the House. So he's practicing law without a license. And then it's just straight up mafioso. Let's throw down the senator before we go in there. He had 18 state troopers lined up to take me down. But let me tell you what, Jack. I don't stop for the Constitution. Right. I'm going to continue fighting no matter what it takes. And what it did is it exposed how tyrannical these people are willing to be in order to stop freedom him.
Jack Posobiec
Well, I, I, I couldn't agree more. And the way that people need to understand this is that the situation is actually quite dire. I didn't, we just had, right before you're on, we just had Assistant Attorney General Harmony Dylan on, and she told us that the United States Federal government has not even had a second amendment division over at the DOJ in its entire history. In its entire history for so for all these years that we've been facing the loss of our second amendment rights, of our God given rights to self defense of ourself and our freedoms. We didn't even have a division at the federal government that was looking into this. It's, that's how unbelievable this is.
Colton Moore
Yeah, no doubt. I mean these freedoms are slipping away and we never get them back, Jack. So if we don't defend now, then the next generation, they're not even going to know what these freedoms were to defend them. You know, tyranny is only one gener away and there's no stopping. We've got to keep fighting.
Jack Posobiec
We certainly do. We've got a quick break coming up but I'd like to hold you over because I do want to talk about some of the issues in the race itself. Talk about what the people of the district are talking about. Talk about what your plans are. So stay tuned. Be right back. State senator Colton Morris just announced here on Human Events Daily that he will be running planning for the MTG seat there in the great state of Georgia. Right back. Human Events Daily. Jack.

Jack is a great guy. He's written a fantastic book. Everybody talking about it. Go get it.
Colton Moore
And he's been my friend right from.
Jack Posobiec
The beginning of this whole beautiful event and we're going to turn it around and make our country. Amen.
All right, Jack Posobic, we are back here. Human Events Daily. We're on with Senator Colton Moore, state senator out of Georgia who just Announced moments ago that he is going to be running for the United States Congress in the district where MTG is now leaving a vacant seat. Senator Moore, I wanted to ask you, when, when you're there in the district which you already represent largely in the state Senate side, what are some of the top issues you're hearing? Because we certainly know that, you know, in Washington, D.C. we keep hearing about war in Ukraine, more war in the Middle East. Is that something that you think that the people of your district want, or are they more focused on on the kitchen table issues, the affordability crisis, cost of living and Bidenflation that seems to be still, unfortunately stuck in parts of our system.
Colton Moore
Jack, it sounds like you could run for Congress in this district. You hit all the nails.
Jack Posobiec
Well, I love what I do, man. I love what I do now.
Colton Moore
You're exactly right. I mean, first and foremost, we're broke. We don't have any more money. And then we see all of this money going overseas to Ukraine and elsewhere, and it's so disheartening, right? I mean, one of the crazy numbers to put in perspective for your audience on how much money we've given to Ukraine, if you just divide that by 50, all 50 states, and you give Georgia that 50%, 150th percentage, we have 159 counties in Georgia, more than any other state besides Texas. So my little home county, we have about 15,000 people, and it would generate nearly $15 million and federal funds we would have for my little home county if we hadn't given that money to Ukraine. So when you put that into perspective, we're absolutely broke. We have to do things that lower the cost for everyday consumers. One of the things that I plan on championing, Jack, is bringing in group health care purchases. So let Costco, let Amazon. You know, this is something that President Trump has talked about for a while and even, you know, the other side of the Republican spectrum, even Rand Paul has talked about this. You know, why is one person having to go to United UnitedHealthcare and negotiate a rate when there could be a big group, you know, Amazon or Costco or even say the Realtors association, you know, they could put together a big group and buy health insurance and all that would be is just one little quick change to the law. It wouldn't cost taxpayers anymore and it would bring in the free enterprise system when it comes to healthcare costs. You know, illegal immigration is another big issue for northwest Georgia. You know, my little home county, we're just talking about here in Dade County. County, when all of those buses were leaving Texas and going to Martha's Vineyard and elsewhere, they had to pass right through my home county and they were driving through. It's a very beautiful place. Many of those buses were letting people go out into the streets. I mean, we had homeless people from all parts of the world walking around our little community. So that has to absolutely stop. It's a security dilemma. I'm going to be backing Trump's efforts 100% to stop illegal immigration, and he's already done a great job. But we obviously have a long way to go. Remember, Atlanta is the world's busiest airport. When I busted up in there and showed what they were doing with the NGOs, you know, thousands of illegal, of immigrants were coming through that airport. What's crazy, you talk to the custodians and the people who were paid the least at that airport. They're the ones who are most concerned about this because they're like, these illegal immigrants will work cheaper than we will, and that'll leave us homeless. It'll put us without a job.
Jack Posobiec
Stop.
Colton Moore
So that's where we are here in northwest Georgia.
Jack Posobiec
Now, speaking of Georgia, this may be more of a state question, but you are a state senator, so I can, I can certainly ask this. Have we seen, we've seen the president send in the National Guard to places like Memphis, where things where they have almost unilaterally reduced homicide rate, violent crime rate overnight. Do you think that there are discussions, or would you support discussions for Governor Kemp to work with President Trump to bring a similar force to Atlanta?
Colton Moore
Absolutely, 100%, but I don't think Kemp is, is in the mood to do that. I mean, think about this. We just had the largest ICE raid in American history right here in Georgia at the Hyundai plant. Right? This is a plant. That's right.
Jack Posobiec
Yes.
Colton Moore
Taxpayer money. It was subsidized with taxpayer money. I voted against that. Didn't want to, didn't think it was the proper role of government. But this subsidized place that was supposed to be bring jobs to Georgia citizens was actually giving jobs to illegal immigrants. And how embarrassing to have the largest ICE rate in American history in a conservative red state like Georgia.
Jack Posobiec
Well, and you see all this. The national, the National Guard would play a huge role, not only the reduction of crime, but, yes, you're right, also being able to augment those ICE raids, because we've seen this throughout the South. In these cases where people come in from overseas, they'll say, we've got a plant. We want to bring in the workers, but then they don't file the paperwork, they don't follow it, and then you end up having these illegals coming in. And ultimately, at the end of the day, this is not going to stop until There are some CEOs that feel a little bit of this legal pressure as well. Because ultimately we know that they are the ones driving it.
Colton Moore
Yeah, absolutely. And it's living chaos in the streets. I mean, I have to go down to Atlanta and live there the first part of the year. Being a state senator here. I've literally pulled up to red lights before Jack, and there'd be two cars that have crashed into one another and both drivers have left the scene. One can only assume. Why did they leave the scene? Well, they're either violent criminals and they didn't want to get caught by the cops, or they're illegal immigrants and they didn't want to get caught by the cops. But they just left. Their two vehicles crashed in the middle of the street, and people are trying to figure out a way to get around the wreckage. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Jack Posobiec
No, it's, it's horrific. And Atlanta is a city that should be one of the greatest cities, certainly one of the greatest cities in the South. And yet we seem to play this game where crime is just allowed to be rampant in these areas. And look, President Trump, if you look at the results that he has received in Memphis and that nobody's talking about this, I need to do a better job of talking about it myself. But the fact of the matter is that we know how to deal with crime. This is not a new problem. Violence is not a new problem in America or in the world or in any place. Yet we act like it is because we listen to all these woke progressives and all their new criminal justice studies. We have to look at the root cause. No, we don't. No, we don't. You can provide for law and order the old fashioned way. And you know something? It just, just works. And Memphis is a prime example of that. And that really is the issue, isn't it? Because do you think, do you think that there are Republicans that are just too worried about being called names by the media to actually support policies that crack down on crime?
Colton Moore
You know, I think that's part of it, but also I believe there's this new right that's come about and they've, they've completely forgotten what the principles of the Republican Party are. You know, they, they'd rather spend all their time subsidizing a corporation and Things that are not the proper role of government and they've forgotten what the proper role is. And that is protecting the people, protecting public safety. Right. Building infrastructure so we have the opportunity to actually go out and build some businesses. But you can't build a business when you're having to worry about getting all of your stuff stolen. And you don't have any roads to transport and make commerce.
Harmeet Dhillon
No.
Jack Posobiec
And it's really simple. It's really simple people. And we want commerce to play by the rules. We want commerce to play for America. And, and let me ask you that as well since you are running for Congress. This question about expanding illegal alien or excuse me, expanding legal immigration, the H1B visas, the H2B visas, where do you stand on that?
Colton Moore
No, absolutely not. Let me tell you what one of my good friends graduated high school with. He literally spent every dollar he had worked his tail off pressure washing houses so he could be an engineer. And he goes to the local plant and he says look, I'm a mechanical engineer. I've got everything I need to work for this plant. And they said well that's fine but you'll have to be our assistant engineer because we have an individual here from India who is our current head engineer. Now probably six, seven months into this, they needed to apply for a new visa and they went through the process and they said no one else has applied to be the engineer at our company.
iHeartRadio Host
Company.
Colton Moore
And he's showing all of his application. He says I'm applying, I live here locally, I'm an American, I want this position. And anyway they, they completely screwed him over. They ended up granting the visa to this guy who wasn't an American citizen. And here we go, my friend.
Jack Posobiec
We're just, we're almost out of time. There's so many stories like that. Would yes or no, would you ban the program?
