Donald Trump
End of it it has to do with basically the price that the seller is selling for their shareholders and the buyers willing to pay for it. This has nothing to do with ftc.
Jack Posobiec
Has nothing to anything else.
Donald Trump
Is that a similar product to what we're talking about?

With many, many other players as well. So it's the next generations of products.

Mr. President, Zoran Mongome. You said that, you know, you called him a communist. You said that if he won you would take drastic action against New York City. What kind of actions are you looking at? And will the ICE deportations continue?
Donald Trump
Well, I think you have to look, if he is a communist, you know, there's not going to be a lot of activity. So you wouldn't need bridges and tunnels and all the different things that were being planned for New York, I think. And look, I hope, I hope New York does well. That's all I can say. I love New York. I grew up in New York. I did well, in New York, always did well. And I hope New York does well.
Marty O'Donnell
In the ICE raids.
Jack Posobiec
In the ICE raids. Will they continue ICE raids?
Donald Trump
Well, you want to get criminals out. If they're criminals, we want to get them out. Ideally, we wouldn't have to do them because he'll send the criminals out himself, but that seems to be unlikely. No, we have to get criminals out. You know, millions of people were let into our country from prisons and from mental institutions and drug dealers, a lot of drug dealers and murderers. 11,888 murders, 50% of them committed more than one murder. And we want to get them out. So whether they're in New York or anywhere else, we want to get them out. We've created a great place in Washington. All of you know, you see the difference between what it was now and what it was a year ago under Biden. It was a death trap. And now it's people walk down the street, they have dinner, the restaurants are booming. Washington, D.C. is great. I will tell you, Memphis is doing really well, too. You're hearing those reports. It's companies we're going to move out. They're not going to move out anymore. We've done a great job. And we've only been there for four weeks, so we've done a great job with that. But they have killers in New York. We want to get them out. If they have murderers, if they have people from jails that they allowed out of their jails in order to save a lot of money, we want them out of here. We want to put them back in their jails, not our jails.
Jack Posobiec
Mr. President, my question in regards to TSA, would you ever consider privatizing TSA?
Marty O'Donnell
That question comes to us from our viewers all the time.
Donald Trump
And I told them I would ask you, I think of privatizing a lot of things, but generally speaking, you know, you have government and a lot of people don't like privatizing. But some things that they really do, they work out better privatized. But it is government. And sometimes government can be better. It's something a lot of people talk about. I've heard the government, as far as.
Marty O'Donnell
Air traffic controllers, is two thumbs up on that.
Donald Trump
I've heard from dozens of pilots who.
Marty O'Donnell
Have flown the last 90 days, particularly.
Donald Trump
Under all the stress, the government. They tell me, Brian, that is the one thing the government does right, is air traffic controls. Well, we're going to do it a lot better too, because we're going to buy a new system. It's under bid right now. Bid about four different companies, all top of the line, like these two great companies, except, you know, in a different, slightly different field. And the air traffic control equipment is 45 years old. Buttigieg spent billions of dollars trying to fix it and didn't even use the right wire. You're hooking up glass into copper and you can't do that. You know, most, if they went to a reasonably good school, they'd find out you can't outclass into copper. And they spent billions of dollars. It was actually made the system much worse. We're going to get rid of the entire system, put a brand new system in. It'll be expensive, but we'll have the best air control system, meaning, you know, the control towers, they'll be stripped down, down to the. Down to the bone. And brand new equipment is being installed. And we'll give out that. It's a big contract. We'll give out that contract over the next six weeks.
Jack Posobiec
That the FAA is.
Libby Emmons
Going to have to cut about 10%.
Jack Posobiec
Of flights at the top 40 airports because of the government shutdown. Are you at all concerned that it.
Libby Emmons
Might not be safe to fly right now?
Jack Posobiec
And what do you tell people who are going to.
Donald Trump
That's why they're cutting. Yeah, fair question. As Sean Duffy announced, they're cutting in certain areas 10% and they want to make sure it's 100% safe. That's why they're doing it.
Jack Posobiec
Mr. President, given these modifications that are being made to air travel, the other disruptions with the government shutdown, do you think it's time for Republicans in Congress to change their negotiating position at all?
Donald Trump
In what way?
Jack Posobiec
To start making concessions to Democrats?
Donald Trump
Well, I think it's time for them to end the filibuster and just put everybody back to work. Vote in voter id, vote in no mail in voting, except for military, far away military and people that are very sick. No, I'd like to see one day voting. I'd like to see not 65 days of voting from all over the place. No, I'd like to clean up the elections. The border. We've done a great job. We have a great strong border now. I'd like to see new rules on immigration that can be fair and good, you know, but rules that you'll never get. Rules that they're never going to get. There's so many things we could put in, including tax cuts that we could get and we could do it all ourselves. But to do that, you have to end the filibuster. The filibuster is. And they'll do it too. They'll immediately do it. You know, they're going to. What they're going to do is, what the Democrats will do is they're going to make Puerto Rico a state, they're going to make D.C. a state, they're going to pack the court, they're going to end up with more electoral votes, they're going to end up with four senators because of the two states. And they're going to do this 100%. They would have done it except Manchin and Sinema got in their way. They would have done it. So if they're going to do it, I would do it. I would do it before them.
Jack Posobiec
And you think a little like Israel.
Donald Trump
Israel attacked first. That attack was very, very powerful. I was very much in charge of that. When Israel attacked Iran first, that was a great day for Israel because that attack did more damage than the rest of them put together. What I'd like to see is I'd like to see voter id. I'd like to. Who wouldn't approve voter id? The Democrats. Why wouldn't they approve it? Because they cheat. There's only one reason not we don't have voter identification and we should have it if we got rid of the.

Philip, run a business. In not thinking about radio, think again. Because more people are listening to the radio on iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever and iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio where the reach is real. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844 iheart one more time. Just call 844-844, iheart and get radio working for you.

I thought that New Jersey would do better. I didn't think that Virginia was going to do very well. I didn't think the candidate, well, you know, didn't really have my support. The CUOMO situation. It just, he had too many, too many things against him. I'm so torn because I would like to see the new mayor do well because I love New York. For a thousand years, communism has not worked. It just communism or the concept of communism has not worked. I tend to doubt it's going to work this time.
Stephen Gardner
Thousands of flights here in the US.
Jack Posobiec
Are about to be canceled.
Marty O'Donnell
Day 36 now the longest shutdown in.
Jack Posobiec
US history, breaking the record set during the first Trump administration. Because of air traffic controllers not getting paid, air traffic now will be reduced.
Stephen Gardner
By 10% into 40 major airports. Thousands of flights to be canceled as of today.
Jack Posobiec
The government shutdown is now the longest in US History. Several senators are tentatively predicting it could end soon.
Marty O'Donnell
I'm optimistic that we should be getting something done this week.
Jack Posobiec
Multiple sources say a possible deal between.
Libby Emmons
Senators is being negotiated.
Jack Posobiec
It involves some kind of stopgap funding bill and a promise to vote later on rising Obamacare subsidies. Some Democrats say that's not good enough. But two sources say about a dozen.
Libby Emmons
Democratic senators have privately signaled an openness.
Jack Posobiec
To such a plan. If Republicans agree, that would be enough votes for the chamber to pass the bill.
iHeartRadio Announcer
One of the law enforcement guys comes in, he's very sweet. But what do you say to someone whose husband just was assassinated so publicly? Said, you know, I've been doing this for 30 some years. He said, I will never tell you that you cannot see your husband. He said, but I, in my professional opinion think that you should wait to see him once he's at the mortuary because I don't think you want to see him like this. The room got quiet because half the room knew it's probably a good idea. And the other half of the room was like, there is no way she's listening to you right now. And I responded back to him and I said, with all due respect, sir, I said, I want to see what they did to my husband and I want to give him a kiss because I didn't get to give him a kiss this morning.
Jack Posobiec
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, here live on Real America's voice. Today is November 6, 2020 Anno Domini. You just saw there Erica Kirk giving her first sit down interview since the murder of her husband by a crazed leftist. And incredible interview. Heart wrenching, a gut punch, many, many gut punches throughout the entire interview. But important interview at the same time and perhaps the most newsworthy section of it that came out was when Jesse Watters asked her whether or not she supported this ban on cameras in the courtroom. And as you know, here on Human Events Daily, we issued a letter to the courtroom urging them to oppose this ban on cameras. Erica herself also came out in opposition to the ban. She said, let the cameras roll. Let everyone see what true evil is. And so wanted to get on a panel to kind of discuss some of the ins and outs of. We are joined. We're honored to be joined by two illustrious guests today. We've got Libby Emmons, the editor in chief of Human Events and the Post Millennial. What's up, Libby?
Libby Emmons
Not much. Doing well. Thanks for having me.
Jack Posobiec
And of course, Stephen Gardner. The Stephen Gardner Show. How are you, my friend?
Stephen Gardner
I'm doing well. Thank you for having me on. Thank you for having me on.
Jack Posobiec
Well, Libby, just. Just right off the bat, you were such a driving force behind that issue and that letter about the cameras. How important is it that Erica came out in favor of this?
Libby Emmons
I thought it was very important. I was really glad to see her take that position. She had a similar view that we had at Human Events, which is that the assassination of Charlie Kirk was public. Everyone could see it. It was right there on Livestream. And I think the justice in the wake of that assassination should be public as well. The trial of the suspected killer should be public. The entire process of this trial should be transparent so that there are no questions left unturned and no question as to whether or not justice was served.
Jack Posobiec
And now I want to turn over to Steven. Steven, I know you've gone to the UVU campus itself. I know you've done some great videos and have worked with people as well on the ground there that have dug into this. What's your sense of this going into the trial? Because I know there's, you know, been questions. People say, oh, the affidavit and Erica herself got asked yet last night, do you think they got the right guy? She replied that she had trust in the team. She had trust in their team. What's your sense of this as it goes to. And we don't have a trial date yet, but I believe the next hearing is set for January. Yes.
Stephen Gardner
So my understanding is, based on recent court documents where Tyler Robinson's legal team was involved, they have a very strong case. There is an entire folder full of evidence from GEO fencing to his car to DNA on the roof, on the gun, on a screwdriver. So there's a lot that the defense is going to have to overcome. At the same time, I can see how an attorney who is advocating on behalf of their client wants to put as much in their favor as possible, getting them out of the suicide vest, having come in in regular closing clothing. But as Erica Kirk said, he was assassinated in public. He should be tried in public. There's already so much doubt around whether the FBI is doing enough, whether the Utah police are doing enough, whether the Utah County Attorney General is doing enough. Let us just see the court case, and we will be able to decide whether enough is being done. But lots of. Lots of trial data and evidence has been handed over in discovery. We're going to learn a lot more starting around January 16th.
Jack Posobiec
I think that's right. And, yeah, I just pulled it up as you were chatting. So it's January 16th is the next preliminary hearing, and then an arraignment on January 13th. So we're already pushed out two months into next year. Libby, I want to get you back in on this, because there was a clip of me. So I was on the Charlie Kirk show the other day, and I was having a discussion about how I, you know, just as a father, how incredible it was to see. And just, just, just, you know, almost unbelievable it was to see Tyler Robinson's parents play a role in turning over their son. And now this has gone viral online. People are saying that's not true, that didn't happen, that, you know, that, you know, somebody else turned him in. And, you know, I went back and pulled up the affidavit, and it's got his mother. That's Amber Denise Robinson, his father, Matt Robinson. Obviously, the. You see the two younger brothers there, Austin and Logan, their faces blurred out. But in the affidavit, it's very clear that the parents were the ones that first identified him and then reached out to a friend of theirs who is retired law enforcement. So, Libby, what's your sense of this? Why are people, you know, do. Do people think that they. They don't know who their own son is? I'm kind of at a loss here, or what the implications of this would be.
Libby Emmons
Yeah, I find that really surprising, too, that anyone would push back on that. In the days after Charlie was killed, there was a manhunt. There was an investigation. The FBI had to decide whether or not they wanted to release the surveillance footage. They did release that footage. And after they released that footage, Robinson's parents recognized their son in that footage, tried to contact him. There's text messages that were revealed, Robinson saying that he wasn't answering the phone of his father, that he wasn't wanting to talk to them. But it's all in the affidavit. And not only is it in the affidavit, if you go back to the press conference that was had, the sheriff of Washington county in Utah explained all of this and discussed it at length and took questions and talked about it. It was right there publicly, on camera, on tv, like this entire thing been from the start. And part of the, you know, the parents recognized him. They reached out to him. I'm sure they didn't want to believe that this was their son, but they did believe it. He came over and talked to them and indicated that he had been the one who was responsible for this killing. Imagine how terrible it feels as parents. You don't want to recognize your child as a killer, but parents will recognize their children, you know, how they walk, you know, everything about them. So obviously they, you know, they didn't want this to be true. It turned out to be true. And they dealt with it in the way that. That a person probably should deal with it.
Jack Posobiec
Right.
Libby Emmons
Turn in their child, talk to them, get them to turn themselves in is what happened.
Jack Posobiec
So, you know, I'll cut it over Libby. No, I think that's. I think that's right. I cut it over to Stephen. Stephen, you know, you've read over this as well, and. And I remember at the first, there were questions. The parents reached out to a family friend of theirs that they knew through a church group. Turned out that he retired law enforcement. There were questions about the surrender. Is that your understanding of what went down when it came to the identification?
Stephen Gardner
Yeah, my understanding is the FBI was very reluctant to release any video footage or photos. However, they were in a bind. They needed public assistance, and so they made the decision to release a couple of photos of his body, of his face, and of him after taking the shot, running and. And jumping off the roof. And, you know, you can say whatever you want, but that footage is what triggered the mom to call the dad and say, hey, are you seeing this? This looks like our son. And the father confirming, yeah, you're right. I. I think that is. Now, you know, there was some confusion because as soon as his photo was released, people started trying to use AI to enhance or sharpen the photo. And so the fake AI photo of Tyler Robinson started circulating just as quickly as the real one. But as Libby mentioned, a mom and a dad, they're going to know their son, they're going to know the clothing. They also identified. Hey, I think I remember washing that American flag shirt. And then now we've got video footage of him being Pulled over where he's wearing a very similar hat. He's wearing the glasses. He uses some of the. The language inside of the text messages that people are doubting. So, yeah, I believe the story about his mom and dad.
Jack Posobiec
Pause it right there because I want to get back on this. The attire, the mother recognizing it.

Patriot-protect.com poso I'm gonna throw it back now to Stephen Gardner. Stephen, you were talking about the, the evidence that's going to come through here. And to be clear, all of the evidence is going to present, be presented at trial. That's why we at human events have been pushing so hard that the cameras stay rolling. And I'm just overjoyed at the fact and that Erica is backing this, obviously, as horrible of a situation it is. But her, her voice lending, lending itself to this is obviously going to be a big push. But, Stephen, the, the point here is, of course, that these statements being made in the affidavit, they're not just being made, you know, haphazardly. They're meant to be backed up in court by hard evidence. Isn't that right?
Stephen Gardner
Yes. Everything that is being talked about by you, me, Libby, others, it's all going to be under a massive amount of scrutiny. We're talking about the best of the best lawyers are going to clash on their experts trying to refute the other side's experts. And this is one of the reasons why the court date was pushed back to January 16th. Tyler Robinson's defense attorney, she said there is such an abundance of evidence that we're simply not prepared at this point to make a strong defense. So I think that there is a lot that they're going to be up against. We're going to find out even more about the parents and the story. All of these details are going to come out in trial.
Jack Posobiec
I think that's right. Going back to Libby Emmons now, you know, Libby, when, when you look at this, and I know obviously you've written a lot about transgender shooters here. And while the shooter himself in this case, you know, alleged shooter, was not trans, his boyfriend was, you know. Libby, do you see this as the next in a long line of increasing transgender related violence?
Libby Emmons
Well, there has been a long line of transgender related violence. We've seen it over the past few years, there's been a number of trans individuals who have committed school shootings, both male and females who have undertaken that. And I do think that deciding that you're that out of touch with reality, that you don't even recognize your own body and self for who you are and what it is, is, you know, going to lead you down a pretty bad path. The evidence about the, the boyfriend has been pretty interesting. There's been some blogs and stuff that have posted discord messages and text messages and other exchanges about what was going on in the home that they shared, that Lance Twigs and Tyler Robinson shared. And it does seem like it was a pretty bizarre relationship that they had going. This roommate, Lance Twigs, was apparently alcoholic and using a lot of drugs, creating nests in the living room, lashing out at people, and seems to be substantially pretty controlling. And if he was giving both masculine and feminine energy, that's definitely a recipe for intense manipulation to be going on in this relationship. So, yeah, I think that trans is hopefully on the decline because it is something that has been a fad. It's been a big trend, and statistics have shown that perhaps that might be starting to decline. I think the Trump administration has perhaps something to do with that, too, in terms of regulating whether or not these kinds of medications are allowed. But, yeah, I think that it's definitely concerning to see leftists with their own leftist ideology. And then when you mix it up with a rejection of reality, you have real problems.
Jack Posobiec
And that's, that's certainly right. Back to you, Stephen Gardner. Now, what, what more are, what key piece? Because I know you've been digging so much on this. What key piece are you looking for next? Is there any sort of, you know, sort of skeleton key or missing link that you think that's out there that you're going to be looking for at this trial?
Stephen Gardner
Now, according to the court hearing in late October, the evidence that they have against him lines up his cell phone data, geo tracking to the UVU video footage that everybody is wanting. Right? I mean, I see dozens and dozens of influencers saying, just give us the, just give us the tapes. Just give us the tapes. Those are the very tapes that they need in order to tie him to this crime and bring justice to Charlie and Erica and the Kirk family. So at this point, I am just waiting for the, the court case to start revealing all of the information that I've shared with my YouTube community. But, you know, they're going to tie him to the gun, they're going to tie his shoes to the location, they're going to get the gunshot residue off of his hands and on the steering wheel of his Dodge Charger. They're going to use the GEO fencing, they're going to line all of that up when the shot's taken there. Again, as, as his own defense attorney who's trying to save him from the death penalty. Said there's such an abundance of evidence, we're simply not prepared to try this case at this time. So there is a lot of evidence. We all wish we could.
Jack Posobiec
That's about all the time we have. Stephen Gardner. Go give him a follow. Stephen Gardner Show Libby Emmons, Human Events Post Millennial. And yes, if there's any other video, images, footage, data, let's get it all. And that's exactly what I'm going to be looking for at this trial. Thank you so much to the panel. Be right back with special guest Human Events Daily.

Jack Posobiec
All right, Jack, what's up? We're back here. Human Events Daily. Real America's voice. Folks, you're a homeowner, America. You need to listen to this. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud on the rise called title theft. And your equity is the target. Here's how it works. Criminals forge your signature on a single document. They use a fake notary stamp and file it with the county. And just like that, on record, they own your home. Using your censorship, your ownership. They can take out loans against your equity or even sell your property. And you won't know about it until foreclosure or collections notices start showing up in the mail. That's why I've partnered with Home Title Lock, so you can protect your equity. And find out today if you're already a victim. Use my promo code poso@hometitlek.com and you'll get a free title history report and a free trial of their million dollar triple lock protection. Thank you, Jack, for having me on the show. And you know what? One of these days we'll be in the studio at the same time so I can actually physically meet you rather than virtually meet you.
Jack Posobiec
We will, we will. And of course, so Marty, there's, you know, there's no question that, that folks out in the audience for people saying scratches. Who's Marty o'? Donnell? Marty o' Donnell is of course the composer of the award winning and best selling video game series, the music for Halo.
Marty O'Donnell
That's right. You know, the other thing is I've actually had two careers because I'm that old. My first career was in doing television scores and jingles. And one of the jingles was we are Flintstones kids, 10 million strong and growing. So that was you, Some people. Yeah, that was me.
Jack Posobiec
Oh, my gosh, you're just, you just unlocked a core memory for me here. So it's your fault.
Marty O'Donnell
It's my fault. Yeah, I put that melody.
Jack Posobiec
I hope those things were actually good because I would beg my mom to get them because I couldn't get the song out of my head.
Marty O'Donnell
That was the, that was the goal. That said that I had the same goal with the Monk chant to get that into people's heads so they would play Halo.
Jack Posobiec
So, I mean, and of course, as a Catholic, right, you know, it's, you know, it's just amazing to see Gregorian chant be put on such a platform like that when you, I gotta ask, you know, before we get into the political side, when, when you were working on the series, did, did you know that it was gonna be as big as it was?
Marty O'Donnell
Yes, I was completely convinced that this was gonna be a really hot thing and we were gon expectations and people would be Playing that game for maybe an entire year after we released it, that's how successful I thought it was going to be. Which by the way, at the time, if you had a game that was still being played a year after you released it, it was like beyond your wildest dreams. You know, we might sell a million units. You know, that was, that was. We really expected it to be great, but trust me, Nobody anticipated that 25 years later, you know, it would still be popular and they would bring it back almost exactly the way we shipped it for the 25th anniversary next year, or that somebody like President Trump would be using it as memes. It's. None of that stuff was expected.
Jack Posobiec
Well, I was just going to get into that because, you know, here we are and I had done your show earlier this year and so we've kind of been chatting back and forth and then, you know, we were working to get you on, trying to get schedules to sync up and lo and behold, then we have GameStop tweeting out that Trump has ended the console wars. The great, you know, Xbox, PlayStation, etc. Console Wars, Nintendo. And then it just began this sort of meme explosion between GameStop and the White House and DHS of Trump and Halo match up. He's got. I think we have a couple of the memes, right guys?
Stephen Gardner
Sure.
Jack Posobiec
Throw some of those up for people who are watching. I mean, okay, just, just what was it like to have seen something that you worked on so long ago, just kind of taking over the. Taking over the entire Internet like that?
Marty O'Donnell
Well, it was, it was surreal. First of all, we had as a surprise, Microsoft is re releasing Halo 1 pretty much in its entirety. The original music, the original voices, the original story. Just upgraded up res' ed graphics next year. So they announced that. And that's why GameStop came out and said the console wars are over. Because Microsoft also is going to be releasing it on the PlayStation, which nobody would have anticipated. And then immediately when the White House jumped on that and said another war ended by President Trump, it just was hilarious at first because you knew that the left was going to go insane and they wouldn't get the humor. And it just kept going from there. And of course me and my folks, since I'm running for office now, jumped on it and quote, tweeted it and got millions of views and it was great timing. I loved it. Like I said though, it was surreal. Who would have anticipated something like this? I love the idea that Halo is finally being used by the right, even if it's slightly tongue in Cheek. It's, you know, video games have been blamed for so much violence over the years, and it's great to see it mainstreamed by conservatives and the White House.
Jack Posobiec
Well, I think it's great too. And in a sense, you know, not to. Not to get all into it, but there's, you know, there's always been a lot of gamers in the MAGA community because it was. It was gamers who very long time ago, almost 11 years ago now, started calling out the lies of the gaming media. And, you know, not to relitigate all that, but, you know, they started. They were sort of the first ones to say, hey, this. Do you have the word wokeness? Back then we called them SJW social justice warriors and, and said, hey, that, you know, they're trying to inject all of this politically correct nonsense into our games and we just want to play a great game. We just want to be able to play Halo.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah, yeah. And I've always felt like the first, what we called Gamergate was the impetus for the sort of youthful conservative movement. You know, I can't take credit for any of that, but I feel like, you know, in the early 2000s and through the 2000s, most of us who were making video games were making games. And our slogan was, we want to make games that we want to play. Which meant that we were gamers who loved playing games. So we were making games that we felt were cool and fun and, you know, the audience and you kids responded really positive to that. And then at some point in the, you know, 2012, 13, 14, someplace in there, definitely the. The agendas started coming in from the corporate offices and the wokeness and the HR departments, and suddenly DEI started infecting how games were being made and how game studios were being put together. And so you guys noticed, you saw.
Jack Posobiec
It yourself, yourself working in the industry.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah, I saw the beginning of it. Luckily, I. I was. I was, you know, I was fired from Bungee, which is a whole other story in 2014, just before we released Destiny. And that's a whole different subject. I wasn't fired because of Wokeness, and I wasn't fired because of my political beliefs. It was creative differences. But I did start to see it creeping in. I started to see it creeping into how HR worked, how people were being hired as the studios got bigger and bigger. I started my own studio after that with a friend who was in agreement with me about how studios should be run, and we were able to do what we wanted to do, and that was fine, but we did see it happening in some of the really big AAA studios that would have, you know, 800 to 1,000 people that they'd hire, and they were hiring people for the wrong reasons. And we saw it happening and we saw the games starting to be infected with which, you know, the SJW concepts, which turned into what I would call the Woke Mind virus. And it was a shame because it's. It meant that the games were really no longer fun to play. They were preachy.
Jack Posobiec
Well, and that's. That was the biggest issue. And so it was, you know, it's a, you know, you're right, though. It was 2014, right around that era where, you know, this, this whole thing exploded online. I, you know, had an anonymous account myself at the time and, you know, kind of caught the caught wind of what was happening where, you know, people on Twitter at the time were just firing up these, these journalists and say, you guys are lying. You're totally fake. You're pushing wokeness. You're trying to destroy the things that we love and we're sick of it. And that kind of nucleus and has really turned itself into the maga movement. Now, funny enough, mine, and to be clear, mine was not from video games. Mine. I was actually in kind of the Game of Thrones world back then. But that's a story. That's a story for another day. I'll be right back. We're on with Marty o'. Donnell. Want to get back with the legendary composer of Halo, and he's running for Congress.

All right, Jack Posobic. We are back live and super excited to be on with the legendary composer of not just the Flintstones kids, vitamin song, but also the composer of the Halo series, Marty o'. Donnell. And, and we're actually just talking about how the rise of wokeness in gaming was one of the first places where, you know, where all of this came up. But before you get back to that interview, I just want to tell you folks, you know, I've been telling you, pay attention to what's happening with the dollar debt and central banks. It's all piling up. And when things get rocky, gold has always been the safe haven. But now gold isn't just defensive, it's an offensive asset. It's already around $4,000 an ounce, and analysts are forecasting it could go over 5,000. That's why I've been working with my partners at Allegiance Gold for the past three years. All right, back on with Marty o'. Donnell. And so, Marty, there's people who have said, and you just told us that incredible story about seeing sort of the rise of wokeness in the gaming industry. There's a sense from a lot of people that have said, they said, you know, we passed peak woke, that Hollywood has gone past peak woke. Do you think that we're there yet or do you think it's still kind of lurking around? Where do you think we're at?
Marty O'Donnell
I think it's going underground. I think especially with the repudiation of the WOKE movement by the country voting for Donald Trump and, you know, changing the political climate. It's wonderful to see these DEI programs go away, but I don't think they're completely gone. And I think we have to be pretty vigilant because they're just some of these HR departments are just kind of being renamed. They rename it to something else. So I think we have to keep stomping on this thing. Meritocracy needs to be the rule of the day. And so we have to stay on top of it and watch for when it pops its head up again.
Jack Posobiec
Yeah, and that's. That's always what it used to be. Right? It always used to be just the best man, the best woman, gets the job, whatever it is, don't care what the background is. If we're all here to put together something, then we're just going to take the best of the best and there isn't going to be any question about that. And somewhere along the line, you know, these wokies got in and started saying, oh, no, you got to change your percentages and, you know, you can't have female characters that look like that, etc. Etc. And then, and then inevitably it just ruins the product.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah. And like I said, when, when, when I was making games, it was. Our slogan was, we make games that we want to play. And then after I was gone from Bungie, Bungie changed its slogan to we create worlds that bring people together. Which is. Just has such a wokey sound to it. And I think people notice it. All the companies that are making games because they have some sort of an agenda. The fans go, wait a minute, what happened to the fun? What happened to the coolness? Why am I being told to put my personal pronouns in my character?
Jack Posobiec
Or.
Marty O'Donnell
I mean, one of the worst things is when you, you go to a character creation screen and it says body type 1, body type 2. There's no male and female anymore. And it just. Every one of those little things is just a reminder of the agenda that these corporations.
Jack Posobiec
Oh, it's so annoying. By the way, I love the, the bring worlds together because the entire plot of Halo is worlds that are at war with each other.
Marty O'Donnell
It's a war, you know, and the other thing, one of, one of my favorite little slogans that Bungie had way back in the day was kill your enemies, kill your friends. Enemies, kill your friends.
Jack Posobiec
Well, and that's what it was. I remember, you know, I remember playing those games and in the early days kind of. And I'm, you know, maybe dating myself a little bit, but even back to the first episode Xbox that, you know, it wasn't the online play that was the, you know, that was really the. At the forefront. It was. It was getting your friends, you know, three, four friends together in one evening and having a party and lighting each other up. Yeah, you're all on the couch and that's what you're doing so. Yes, absolutely. I was, you know, killing my friends in Halo. In Halo.
Marty O'Donnell
And having a blast doing it and knowing that it was serious. There was nothing serious about it. It was just a slightly more adult version of playing, you know, World War II when you were a kid or playing Cowboys and Indians or whatever it was. Your friends.
Jack Posobiec
Cowboys and Indians.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah, I know. I know. Well, that's. You know, it's funny.
Jack Posobiec
It's funny you mentioned that total aside, but my kids, who are seven and four, they were. I. They told me that a while ago now, but I said, what are you guys playing? They said, we're playing Cowboys and Indians. And I said, how do you guys know Cowboys and Indians? And it's just like, that's what we play. We play cowboys. I had never. I had never said it to him. I had never once said it. But it's this. There's a reason that these archetypes. There's a reason that these stories resonate throughout our society, throughout childhood, especially with young men, young women, too, to some extent, but especially with young men, because, you know, even with, you know, you know, a war game like this, military science fiction, because that's what young men have an innate and natural interest in.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah. And I have three grandsons, and I raised two daughters. And by the way, both my daughters were somewhat interested in the games that I made and played, but they never got quite as addicted to it. But my three grandsons are. I can see it already. They are. They're just, they're just different than daughters.
Jack Posobiec
Right.
Marty O'Donnell
And so they're very interested in playing the kind of games that I made and, like. And that's fine. You know, it's just. That's just the way things are. And there's an interesting phenomenon about, you know, things that kids do. Kids pass on what they're doing, their nursery rhymes, their games to other kids, and the parents are not involved. So that just keeps coming down generation after after generation, because the group of kids pass it to the next little group of kids, and you can't stomp this stuff out. It just. That's why they're still playing Cowboys and Indians.
Jack Posobiec
So you're, you're. You're running for Congress. You switched that over. Tell me a little bit about the race. It's Nevada 3. Suzy Lee, the Democrats in there. It's a district that Trump won. She only won by about 10,000 votes. You're running 20, 26. Walk us through it real quick. Two minutes.
Marty O'Donnell
Yeah, sure. I am very interested in flipping this seat. And so Are the Republicans in Washington? Obviously, Susie Lee is just a mouthpiece, a rubber stamp for the Democrat Party. I'm a lifelong conservative. I'm a huge fan of President Trump and voted for him three times. And I'm looking forward to being support in the midterms so that we hold the House and keep the Trump administration going for the full four years. I'm also super interested in working, you know, to make sure that our country can have it so that one good job is enough to raise a family. And we need to get back to the idea that you need one good job and you can raise a family. You can, you know, have a pizza on Friday nights and maybe take a vacation and raise your kids the way you want them to be raised and get them in schools that you want. And we need to get back to that sort of economic situation as soon as possible. And I think President Trump and his administration is the way to do it.
Jack Posobiec
Well, that's incredible. Well, Marty, you've. You've got my support because we know that we absolutely need fighters in there. Someone who has seen wokeness from inside the belly of the beast. Someone who understands what it's like to go up against that industry and, by the way, be able to speak truth to power and someone who just gets it. Someone who just absolutely gets it. Where can people go to get more information to get involved in the race?
Marty O'Donnell
Go to Marty for Congress. You can also go to MartyForCongress vote. Either one will take you to the exact same place and, you know, register. You can contribute, of course, which is we need it because it's a national race and a lot of Democrat money is going to come in against me. But just even just registering so I can keep in touch with you is a wonderful thing. So, Marty4Congress.com all right.
Jack Posobiec

The guests bring strong opinions and personal stories, with notable exchanges on the importance of public scrutiny, the spread (and potential retreat) of “wokeness,” and the shifting boundaries between pop culture and political activism.
Listeners unfamiliar with the episode will find it a revealing intersection of today’s most sharply-contested debates—anchored by personalities unafraid to challenge the mainstream in direct, unscripted ways.
