Testimony Speaker / Ministry Leader
I had three months to live. They told us on Wednesday in the medical center that I was going to die and something hit me and I stood up and I said I serve a great big God and I'm going to live and not die. On Friday night we were right here that man standing right there, and he walked down that aisle and he didn't know me from Adam. And I had said, lord, if you're going to take me out, let's do it now. If not, my purpose is not finished in this life. I need a touch. And he stopped by there, didn't know me, and laid his hand right on my chest. He said, lord, don't repair it. Make it brand new. And immediately I could feel heat from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Went back to the medical center and told them what happened. They said, oh, well, hey, you're going across the street to the guy that invented the PET scan and we're going to check your heart. I go back a week later, he walked in this time to get him his clinics. He took the chart, threw it in Florida. And he said, we can't find that heart attack and we can't even find the paperwork.
Pastor Jonathan
Hallelujah. That's been eight years.
Testimony Speaker / Ministry Leader
Yeah, eight years. Yeah. Now I'm in the ministry in Guthrie, Oklahoma, working with Teen Challenge prison ministry and got to Sunday school for the whole church on Sunday morning. And this man started it all right here. And then the good Lord changed my life.

I know guys in Texas don't like hugging other guys, but make an exception for me. Love you. God bless you. We are raising up a family in this church. We're raising up a family in Pittsburgh. We're raising up a family in Texas that don't just know about God, they know God. They've handled his power. They've seen his power flow through him. You're coming out of here today carrying fresh fire, fresh anointing, never to take another backward step. I want you, if you have your Bibles, open it to Isaiah 58. And in the. I'm going to have it up in the King James Bible, Verse six. You can do King James, Isaiah 58, six. So we're starting prayer and fasting. I think they played the promo January 5th, which is tomorrow to the 25th. And if you're new to this church, which may be a few people at 8am are new, many aren't. This is not an annual church tradition or annual church punishment. This is. This is something that I hope now after. What's this? What's this? Our four year anniversary. Right. I hope after four years that. I mean, I know it's a four year anniversary. We didn't have a cake or anything. I've got pairs of socks older than that. So we'll wait till we hit like a 25 year or something. But I hope you'll see after four years from. In fact, we launched this church in 21 days of prayer and fasting. We were at the other property one of the nights in here with about 40 or 60 people. And in four years, this church has exploded to be one of the most impactful churches in the United States of America. One of the most, not the, but one of the most impactful churches that's watched by many people. You know, invitations to the White House, that kind of thing. If you could follow me around, you would find that God is responsible for everything. There's no effort on my part. I couldn't have done any more to not get invited to the White House than to conduct myself the way that I do. But there's doors that God opens and I feel like you have to remind the church that there's a real God. You know, I remember being younger in the ministry in my 20s. I remember I got invited to a television network because I think they, they thought I was good at taking offerings, which I'm not. I just. Again, you sow and you reap. So then we would meet in the back room. All these guys are in their 60s. We're in this month. We're this much behind. We need this much to come in. What do you think we can do to get it to come in? I felt like after, like the third guy talked, like, you do know there's a God, right? You can pray, you can, you can seek heaven and heaven answers. We serve a living God. I've told that story before. Many of you have heard it, that I was in a taxi in New York City and you don't want to assume what religion someone is, but when their name's Muhammad, Muhammad, you can take a guess. And so it was a 17 minute drive. I wasn't going to try to convert a guy in his mid-50s to Christianity in 15 minutes. But I thought, well, I'll just use this trip to learn about the Islamic faith from somebody that practices. So I said, now that you're in America, do you still pray five times a day? He said, I do. I said, what are the times? Because I didn't know. He told me the times. So then I said, have you been in the Islamic faith your whole life? He said, I have. I said very nicely, not combatively. I wasn't like setting it up so I could tell him. I just wanted to hear. I said, now you think five times a day from the time you're four or five, that's A lot of praying. Let's say he's lying and he only did 300 days a year. That's 1500 prayers a year. Times 10 years is 15,000 prayers. Times five is. What's that, 75,000 prayers. You know, one should hit if you buy 75,000 Powerball tickets. It's kind of disappointing if you lose. If arthritis does, you scratch them all off. So I said, I didn't say, has God ever answered your prayer? I said, in all that time, what's the greatest answer to prayer that you've ever seen Allah give you? And he whipped his head around. We were at a red light. He went, you're a Christian, aren't you? I said, what does that have to do with anything? He said, I can tell by the way you phrased the question that you're a Christian, because when we pray, we don't expect answers. I felt like saying, you'd be right at home at most churches, because when they pray, they don't expect an answ. But I'm telling you that, I mean, I see people's eyes not here when I travel on the road. And we play those testimony videos of ladies that were barren going up to 50 years old, having children, and people just like Christians, like that can happen. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's this book you can crack it over. You read all kinds of stories in here. These were not written to help your children go to sleep at night. These are record that we serve a supernatural God. And then God say this out loud, I serve a living God who's a supernatural God. I told a businessman this was, I don't get too many questions like this anymore. People kind of leave me alone. Most people realize you're certifiably insane. They just kind of give you some space. But, you know, we outgrow this building. Reverend, what are you going to do about another building? I said, I didn't do anything about the first building. If you've heard the story, how we got this one, it was a miracle. And I said, God is the head of Jesus is the head of this church. Jesus said, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. He no one's more aware that we're out of space than Jesus. I said, and just like he opened this one up, he'll open another one. He said, well, if you get a building bigger than this, you're looking at minimum $12 million in Pittsburgh. I said, yeah, and you'd be looking at, what's this 5.3 million it doesn't work that there's another way to live life. And that way is engaging prayer and fasting. Because what you're going to hear at most churches is that God has given us all the same grace and God has all the same blessings. And then it's. We don't know why some receive and why some don't. You have to look at it like money in a bank account. Everybody's got the same inheritance laid up, but your ability to work an ATM machine and a debit card to turn. You can starve to death with $3 million in the bank if you don't know how to make a withdrawal on your account. So God gave us actions to take that pull a withdraw on the account. And one of the major ones is prayer. And then fasting gives an acceleration to your prayers. Now, when we started doing this, we used to rent. I rented one of the ballrooms at the Meadowlands. We'd have 40 or 60 people down in Washington County. This is before I had a church. I fasted and prayed. This isn't to get you to fast and pray. It's like, I don't know the best way to get this across. I do these things because really, whoever shows up and whoever gives, that's for your benefit. I have found a way since I've been doing this before we had a church congregation, that I know how to engage God by my faith. Moses getting manna prayer for 3.1 million people every day was not a group effort. You couldn't have met with 12 board members and said, how are we going to feed all these people every day in the desert? Well, Mike has a dairy. Okay, that's going to take care of about 100. Where do we go from there? There's ways to live life. Even in Christianity. There's your way and the ways of the flesh, which are very hard. Fish, fried dinners, you know, that's. That's what. If you don't want to fast and pray, then your church can raise money by having fish dinners every Wednesday. And then your church also owns a piece of the fish place and gives the church a cut of their sails on Wednesday. Everything's of the flesh. Everything. There's no supernatural element. Most Christians, most ministries, most in America. There's zero trace of a supernatural God anywhere in their ministry. There's no miracles. There's no healings. There's no salvations. There's no supernatural money. Everybody, everybody's living like the opposite of what the Bible said. The Bible says the Lord is your shepherd. You'll never lack. You go to most churches, the whole offering is about lack. We know, as many of you know, the roof caved in when it snowed. And so they said it's going to be about $400,000 to repair. We don't have. We told them we're a church. We don't have money like that. So people start developing screwy doctrine and belief because they listen to. No one's actually having what the Bible says you can have. But I want to tell you, you can not only believe what the Bible says you can have exactly what the Bible says belongs to you. But the Bible tells you there's a price to pay. Jesus taught it like this. He told you three covenant responsibilities. When you fast, when you pray, and when you give. Those are three of the responsibilities a Christian has. Fasting. Not if you fast, if you give, if you pray. Now, notice that most churches give all the believers a cop out on all those giving, praying, fasting. What church expects that of any Christian? Now, we're going to have prayer meeting this week. Obviously no one. That's not a mandatory service. And we're going to. It's like three ladies with flags that their cats needed a break from them and their cat gassed up the car and said, please go to the prayer meeting. Prayer meeting. Anybody ever besides me been to a prayer meeting? That's a ghost town. Yeah. No one's there. Pastor's not there. Nobody's praying. Nobody. I wish. Okay. Now it's early Sunday morning, so you can't say I'm preaching against anyone or mocking anyone in particular. But scroll through Livestream today after you get home at some point and listen to the churches that do announce a fast. How many of them? Now, many of you know there's people that like to fast during this time. I'm going to tell you what happened. There's people that. When we started doing these fasting and prayers at the beginning of the year, I watched my father do it. I didn't know anybody else that did it much. I watched my dad do it. I started doing it. There wasn't really the Internet then. It was in the infancy. Jensen Franklin wrote a book in 2004 or five on fasting and prayer. And you could tell a move started in the country where people got hungry for God, started to fast and pray. Well, the pastors weren't the source of it. The pastors almost like found out their people. It's interesting that in people at the beginning of the year, there's a desire to have a Different year. And so if you don't know the Bible, Christian or not Christian, then you just make New Year's resolutions or, you know, I'm going to do something, I'm going to start getting up 20 minutes earlier and stuff like that. Do whatever some guy on a podcast told you to do. But then the Bible, when you read it, told you fasting and prayer is not a punishment. Say this out loud. Fasting and prayer is not a punishment. It's a platform for divine change and divine power. Yeah. So Christians started doing it. Christians started getting hungry. And so they'd watch Jensen Franklin or they'd watch maybe one, maybe just him. I don't know of any other ministers that would facilitate that. Then it's almost like churches didn't want their people having to watch other people. So it was like, okay, we know a lot of you are going to pray and fast, so we're not saying anybody has to do it or anybody find the fast that's right for you. And we're going to lazily post a scripture once every two days on our Instagram from our media team. No prayer. What do pastors think their job is? A pastor's job is to feed the sheep. If you work in the oil field, you don't send other people to the oil field on your behalf. You don't, any job you do, you don't like show up here and there. A pastor should have a church where people can come. My house shall be called a house of prayer. It's supposed to be a place where people come and pray. It's one of the reasons our church has grown. All I did was find out what does the boss actually want a church to look like? Does he want it to be full for 85 minutes once a week and sit empty for six and a half days? Or is it to be a contin? Should Muslims be coming to mosque five times a day to pray and Christians never come? The passion for Christ in the Christian Church of America should trounce the passion for any foreign God in every other house. That's what revival today church is. And that's why God has blessed us and rewarded us with great things. And 2026 is going to be the best year that you and your family have ever had. In Jesus way. Mighty name, if you believe it. Can you say Amen?
Carly Johnson
Hi, my name is Carly Johnson. I'm from Imperial, Pennsylvania and I'm here to tell my my testimony. I was in an 11 year abusive relationship, physically and mentally. I did a lot of drinking, wasn't really living the best life. Did a lot of partying. March 3rd of 2024. I ended up trying to take my life. There was a 4.6 inch blade that went into my chest, punctured a hole in my lung, and I was bleeding out when I ended up at the hospital. My sister actually went to Pastor Jonathan's church that day and he was teaching about you will live and not die. And when she seen me bleeding out on the table when I was getting surged, when they were putting a tube in my lung, she kept praying that prayer over and over again. They end up putting a tube in my lung. They told my dad and my sister, they said if I were to hit an artery that I would be dead by now. So I was in the ICU for two days and I was waiting to get surgery to get the blood clots out. When I went into surgery, they found out that I did hit an artery and I was bleeding out slowly for two days and I was a fourth of a centimeter away from my heart. They told my dad and my sister they have no idea how I'm alive, that it was. The doctors there said it was a miracle. And during the time my grandma was calling revival to get prayers because she didn't know what was going on and she heard I was bleeding out. She ended up going to the office, Patton Drive and ended up Pastor Abraham suddenly was there on a day that he wasn't supposed to be there. And my grandma asked for prayer and he didn't know the situation and he was praying that whatever she's bleeding out, whatever's going on, that it will be stitched up and it'll be healed up in Jesus name. My surgery was a complete success. They cauterized my artery two, three days later. I stopped taking pain medication. They told me that they'd never seen anyone heal that fast. After I got out of the hospital, I went to church. The following Sunday, I got out of my relationship and I found Jesus. Because of that, he saved my life. I have never felt so loved in my entire life. I never knew this I could be the best version of me and who he wanted me to be. I've been sober completely from everything, smoking, drinking for eight and a half months now. And I didn't think it was possible. I really tried everything I could do except for going to Jesus and putting my everything to Him. And I've never been happier in my entire life. I didn't come to Jesus because I had an easy life. I went to Jesus because he showed me that My life was worth living.
Pastor Jonathan
That's what revival today church is. And that's why God has blessed us and rewarded us with great things. And 2026 is going to be the best year that you and your family have ever had. In Jesus mighty name, if you believe it, can you see, say Amen. So now you'll hear it. I guarantee if you flip through church live streams, there's going to be where, you know, you don't want everybody watching somebody else's live stream because then they might give their offerings to that ministry. So we're going to. If you want to, if you feel to fast, it doesn't say if you feel to pray, it doesn't say if you feel to give and it doesn't say if you feel to fast. We read it. I read it yesterday on that broadcast that I did. The the disciples of John the Baptist came to Jesus and said, our disciples, John the Baptist disciples are always fasting. Yours are always feasting. Peter had like a big mouthful of fish, you guys are always eating. And John the Baptist disciples were always fasting. Jesus said, do the groomsmen mourn while they're with the groom? No, but one day the groom will be taken from them and then they will fast. Then Jesus said, no student is greater than his teacher and no servant is greater than the master. But then the servant will do what he sees the master do and will become like the master. So no one can ever be greater than Jesus, though Jesus told us we will do greater works than him. We're under Christ. But Christ said, you can't just claim my promises, you have to follow. Paul told Timothy, follow the pattern of right living that you saw for me. Jesus said, you can't be greater than me, but if you'll live like I role modeled living, then you'll live like I live. Well, what does the Bible give record of Jesus often slept until late in the day, would wake up and have an egg sandwich and check the news, call in the 937 and argue about the Steelers offensive. Jesus often woke up when later early and went out to do what? Pray. So prayer is not something you do because you don't have a good grasp on the Bible. Some of these people think you got to pray. Bible already says I have these things. That's right. But there's an accessing of them through prayer and fasting. Did Jesus fast or not? So if Jesus, with no earthly father and no stain of sin, often fasted and prayed, he was fasting and praying. In Mark 9 he began his ministry with a 40 day fast, I don't think anyone should ever have to fast more than three days. Well, invent a time machine and go back and correct Jesus. There's long fasts all through the Bible and so we do this one here. Does anyone know the times. 6am to 6pm now, we took questions yesterday. This happens every year. What about what can I do after six? You can eat the fast over at six. Put judges 2026 up on the screen. Judges 2026. Judges chapter 20, verse 26. Then all the children of Israel and the people went up. Put in the NLT, if you would. Then all the Israelites went up to Bethel and wept in the presence of the Lord and fasted until when they also brought burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord. Verse 35. 35. So the Lord helped Israel defeat. They were fasting till evening and the Lord helped Israel defeat Benjamin. They had lost before that time. They went back and The Israelites killed 25,100 of Benjamin's warriors, all of whom were experienced swordsmen. You know, when you read these Old Testament stories, these people were like cousins. And I used to read that and think, why were these people going to war against their other family members? But now that I'm 45, I kind of get it. How many of you have a family that's pretty close to arming themselves and going after one of the other households? So they lost the first time. The Bible says they fasted until evening. Then they went out and this time God gave them the victory. So I said this yesterday when I was. And I would encourage you to watch the broadcast I did yesterday because I took questions on practical questions on fasting. Okay, so we're doing 6am to 6pm what does fasting mean? It means can you grab my tweet from yesterday that I had put up fasting? The reason you're not going to hear me say what you hear a lot of churches say on Livestream today. Find the fast that's right for you. Maybe you don't want to fast food. Maybe you want to fast television. Unless you're deep frying TVs and eating them. It's not a fast. Fasting, that's it in the Hebrew ts U with a thingy over it and M meaning to fast. That's what it's called in Hebrew thingy. To fast, to abstain from food literally carries the idea of closing the mouth from eating. That word tsum in the Hebrew means to close the mouth from food. So there are no fasts in the Bible that didn't involve not eating. There's nowhere where it says, and Peter loved to fish, but decided to fast fishing so he could be closer to the master. You can walk away from other things to consecrate yourself to God. You know, it's like, say you like to golf. Like, I like to play video games. So say somebody liked to golf. And they said, you know what? I golf every day after work. But for this next week, I'm going to. Instead of golfing those nine holes, I'm going to go and pray and read my Bible for an hour and a half. That's not a good thing. That's not a bad thing. That's a good thing. But it's not fasting. Just like giving to the poor is good, it's not fasting. Everything has its place. And so fasting literally means to close the mouth. Can I see the tweet again? To close the mouth from food usage. In scripture, they fasted that day until evening. Everywhere fasting is used, it's closing the mouth from food. Finis Dake said, since man lost his original place with God through food, wouldn't it make sense that something is only gained back when he pushes food away to drop back to God? So literally, when you fast, you're reversing what Adam did. Adam. And then Esau. How did Esau. It was not supposed to be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was supposed to be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Esau. But Esau wanted food. And his brother said, oh, you want food? No problem. Will you give me your birthright, your spiritual blessing, and I'll make you soup again? If it was me, it'd never happen, because I don't want soup. I like chewing food. And so he said, yeah, I want food. So Esau. And the Bible brings it out other places. Esau lost his birthright for a morsel of meat or for the stew that Jacob made. And how did Jacob get in? Jacob understood there is power. When Abraham laid hands on my father, it did something to him. And I want him to lay hands on me. And I want to be the one that's next in line for the inheritance that God has. I'm telling you this. You can see I'm in, like, a good mood, unlike yesterday afternoon when I was doing that broadcast. But this is not condemning. I'm not even going to be here. Adonis. We're launching our Christian television network tomorrow, America's Faith and Family, run by the CEO of Real America's Voice and the man that's in charge of developing it is the man that turned Sephora from one guy's makeup store to a nationwide makeup store. This is going to be a serious television channel and we're going to be on live. So think of this now. Seven o', clock, east coast here, ten o' clock on the West Coast, east coast time. And there'll be, not that Adonis will go three hours or four hours, but it'll be about eight hours of programming live every night and then the teaching in the morning. This is going to be something that has an effect not just in your life, not just in this church. It has always been a driving force for me in fasting and prayer that the nation be different when we leave it than when we found it. And I want to tell you we are making those changes together. When I was born, abortion was the law of the land. Abortion is being shut down at the most rapid pace that it's ever been shut down. America is going in the right direction. The tide has turned. But when the tide turns, it's not time to take your foot off the the gas. It's time to put your second foot on the gas and step on the pedal and make this year the greatest year that you've ever had. I tell you a second time today. Get ready. You're not going to wait to see what 2026 brings you. Fasting and prayer is telling the year what it's going to bring you. And it's going to bring you blessing after blessing, victory after victory, from now through December, in Jesus name, if you receive it, can you say aloud, amen? So you want to press in to God. I'm telling you, I'm trying to share my testimony without sounding arrogant. And there's no arrogance in it because it's not. None of it's me. All of it's God, including the TV network who has a CEO of a television station, call him and say, hey, I own another channel, but I haven't had a chance to develop it yet. So it just plays infomercials. Would you be interested in doing a Christian channel? I've always wanted to do that. And then I'll make you a partial owner, give you a percentage of it. The opposite of paying to be on something and develop it. And you know, without going into it, if there was ever a time to launch a Christian television network, it's right now. There's a major move of God going on and it's completely ignored by Christian television. How hard would it be to live stream what's going on at the universities or or show the baptisms that are taking place at Pitt. There's a big revival going on and if you don't go looking for it, you don't even see it. We're going to carry the move of God into televisions and homes all over America. Can you say amen?
