My name is Caitlin, and I have had severe hearing loss since I was 5 years old. I am almost 42 years old, and I came into this week to serve on altar and to bless others. And I had no intention of trying to receive for myself, but I felt the Lord start to stir in me that what I never thought was possible was within my grasp on Tuesday night. And every night that I've come since, I've just been reaching for the hem of his garment, believing in faith that the impossible for me, which is complete restoration of my hearing, could happen. And I sat in service tonight, and Pastor Jonathan Shuttlesworth was like, lift your hands all over this place. And the whole message was about faith and about just believing what the Lord can do and the power of his word and the power of our belief partnering with him. And I just felt hot all over. And I just felt the Lord's presence come upon me. And I just believed that he could heal me, that he was wanted to heal me, that he wanted to reward the love that I had for him in my heart. And it was such a beautiful, intimate moment with me and the Lord. And I pulled out my hearing aids, and I could hear every single word of everything that Pastor Jonathan was saying. Everybody whispering around me, sounds that I have never heard my whole life. I was able to hear clearly. And I just am so thankful for the Lord and his power and the complete healing and restoration. And I can't wait to share this with others.

We are raising up a family in this church. We're raising up a family in Pittsburgh. We're raising up a family in Texas that don't just know about God. They know God. They've handled his power. They've seen his power flow through him. You're coming out of here today carrying fresh fire, fresh anointing, never to take another backward step. Praise God. I want to show you something in Isaiah 58. Isaiah 58:6 new living now. You do, King James. Glad to have you, Texas. Look forward to seeing you soon. Is not this the fast? By the way, if you're here for the first time I'm not mentally insane. We have a second church in Texas. We watching right now by screen. Is not this the fast that I have chosen to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry and that they'll bring the poor that are cast out of the house? So this is kind of a rebuke to Israel because they were fasting food, but they weren't helping poor people or anything. So you can't substitute the one thing for the other. Giving to the poor, helping people that are in need is not a substitute for prayer and fasting. And prayer and fasting doesn't alleviate your responsibility to do the other things Christ commanded you to do. Then he's going to tell you when you add all these things together, what happens when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shalt thy light. When you fast and pray properly, then shall your light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily. Father, give brother Tony agility back there. Don't let the stage take him out. Don't let that stage push you around, brother Tony. And thine health shall spring forth speedily and thy righteousness shall go before thee. And the glory of the Lord shall be your. It says here rearward. That's rear guard like God's. God's glory will be what protects you wherever you go. So look at that. Then shalt thy light break forth as the morning and thy health shall spring forth speedily and your righteousness shall go before you. Fasting and prayer causes a supernatural breaking out of God's power. In your life you have a division needlessly in the body of Christ where people, they like eating, so they knock fasting and prayer like it's something that doesn't need to be done. It's all through the Bible. Then if they do it, they say you don't have to do it more than three days. People went on long fasts in the Bible. Daniel went on a 21 day fast. Put up Daniel chapter 10, verse 7 NLT. Let me see if I'm close. Daniel 10:7 NLT Only I, Daniel, saw this vision. The men with me saw nothing, but they were suddenly terrified and ran away to hide. Verse 8. So I was left there all alone to see this amazing vision. My strength left me, my face grew deathly pale and I felt very weak. Then I heard the man speak. And when I heard the sound of his voice, I fainted and lay there with my face to the ground. Just then a hand touched me and lifted me, still trembling, to my hands and knees. And the man said to me, daniel, you are very precious to God. Now, unless your name is Daniel, I don't want you to say Daniel, but I want you to say your name. Go ahead, everybody at once say, I'm very precious to God. If you have a view that God's looking over the balcony of heaven and he's ticked off at you. And you know they'll help fortify that at many churches. How many know we all sin every day. We all displease God. You're going to find there's lots of people that God talked to from heaven that he wasn't displeased with them. He said, have you noticed my servant Job? That he's a perfect man, upright in all his ways, that he hates what's evil and does what's good? So I don't. I don't feel it. When I go to those churches, I can't fit in. I mean, we all, even if we don't know it, we're doing things right now that displease God. It's like, buddy, I'm standing here, so if this displeases God, then he should just kill me because I'm not doing anything except breathing. No, there's people in the Bible God was displeased with, but there's also people in the Bible, many of them, that God. The Bible says in Hebrews 11, they received God's approval because of their faith. So you can live in a way that God goes, everybody in the world's not wicked. I like that guy. And then you're going to find when God likes them, he sent an angel. Hey, God wanted me to send you a message, Daniel. He likes you a lot. And then, Daniel, you're very precious to God. Listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I've been sent to you. When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling. Then he said, don't be afraid. Everybody say, don't be afraid, Daniel. Now, if you're driving cartel boats in the Gulf of Mexico, I'd be a little afraid. But if you're living right, you don't have to be afraid. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. When was his request heard? What day? First day so fasting and prayer that we're about to enter into tomorrow is not trying to get God into a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu hold to release an answer. God answers. The Bible says if any man lacks wisdom or Anything else, James 1, ask of God and he'll give you liberally. He won't resent your asking. So God's not the problem. Anytime you go to a church and they talk like you've got some big, dumb, slow God, you know, we're doing all we can. We just don't know about God's timing. No, Daniel, from the first day you began to pray, I with your answer. But 13 for 21 days, the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. See, that's what got me thinking. I was studying on this to preach and I thought I was watching on Twitter or X all the people celebrating. And there's tons of pastors in Venezuelan Christians, but they all had to meet like in burrowed out places under the house. It was completely illegal in communism. Well, I used to watch when communism fell in Russia, basically nobody went. A few people, my dad went. My dad did a stadium crusade in Belarus. Lester Sumrall went. But basically all those eastern bloc European countries went straight back into atheism. And they vote communist because when it opened up, no one came. And I used to think, what a shame. But then now here's my turn. Venezuela is open. Venezuela, you can go. So I called the White House. I said, if you want to do what we did in Houston, but on a bigger scale and bring aid to Venezuela, let's bring aid and piggyback a stadium crusade on the back. How many believe we can see tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans giving their lives to Jesus Christ and baptized? 20, 26 is a year that we make the devil pay back everything that he stole. But for 21 days, the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Daniel's fasting for an answer. God gives him the answer. That angel's going to tell him what he was searching out. And it's going to start the process of the Jews getting free from captivity in Babylon. What blocked the answer to the prayer wasn't God. It's not. I mean, God just has a plan. Sometimes, you know, we think we want something now, but he's saying, wait. Ever notice people that believe like that wait their whole life because they're stupid. Because it's not in the Bible. God is not a slow God. God moves faster than the speed of light. And he said, when you call on me not I might answer you. He never said, sometimes I say yes, sometimes I say no, and sometimes I say wait. He said, call on me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not. Knock and the door will be open. Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. For to everyone that knocks, everybody the doors open. Everyone that asks, they receive. And everybody that seeks out the answer, they get what they're going. So what was the delay? Who blocked it? Spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. These aren't trick questions. I'm not looking to throw people out of the auditorium. The demonic principality that was over Persia, which is Iraq and Iran, that was in charge of making sure God's children stayed bound in that land. When I was set with your answer, he blocked me. But as you continued in fasting and prayer, Michael, the head brass knuckled angel, that's the head of warfare. Lucifer was head of praise and worship. Gabriel, head of messaging and communication. Michael is head of God's army. And when you kept fasting and praying, God didn't send like Gary the angel, he sent the head angel to say, go take care of that spirit principality and make sure my boy Daniel gets his answer. Fasting and prayer is tapping into heaven's power that causes what's delayed to get obliterated by heaven's power. You can spend your life doing two things. You can wait and you come up with some kind of religious, you know, I'm just waiting on God, you know, in his timing. Let me tell you something, brother. I'm 45 years old. It feels like two days ago I was in high school. And anybody at 60 or 70 would add on to my story. It'll feel like about another two days and I'll be 70. The Bible says life is but a vapor. That's why you know, old me like, or how I was trained in church. When I see Venezuela coming open, we'd make a plan maybe to go next year, you know, raise money. We can have the kids sell sandwiches door to door. I don't have any of that in the budget, but I've been finding out all year, you don't have. You don't have to have your budget. There's a God that wants things done on the earth. And when you decide I'm going to do what God said, God commits all the resources of heaven to back you wherever you Go now. The secret of understanding fasting and prayer is to understand it's not punishment. Daniel was on a fast. If he'd have gave up day 16, things were still being fought out. We see from Scripture the devil has nothing in his arsenal that can withstand 21 days of fasting and prayer. He can't do it. There are things that break loose. Isaiah 58. Then will your light break forth speedily? Light? We can't shut all these lights off in here, right Quickly. No, if you shut all the lights off, it's pitch black. If you turn a light on, the light doesn't struggle to push the darkness out. And then we put a second light on. As soon as light appears, darkness is obliterated for free. And the Bible says there's something. When you constitute yourself fasting and prayer, that there's something that emanates from you. Go to Mark, chapter nine. Mark nine. 14. Hallelujah. I'm excited about Venezuela. It'll be the best meeting in Venezuela because it'll be the only one there. Our choir will be the best one because it's the only choir. When they returned to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd surrounding them. Some teachers of religious law were arguing with them. When the crowd saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with awe and they ran to greet him. What's all this arguing about? Jesus asked. One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He's possessed by an evil spirit that won't let him talk. And whenever the spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. Can you guys up in the media room find that guy whose brother was in the cartel in New Mexico that had seizures and got healed? And then just flash me on the screen when you have it. Whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out this evil spirit, but they could not do it. Now, question. Had Jesus already told the disciples that I give you authority over all sickness and all disease. So you notice at the end. You're going to notice at the end of the chapter, Jesus doesn't say, hey, and by the way, what were you guys thinking? I never told you to do any of that. They actually come up to him quite privately and say, why were we unable to cast out the spirit? You told us we have authority over all the power of the devil. And then go back to verse 14 Mark 9. 14, when Jesus, who was on the mount of Transfiguration, I doubt he was eating pasta or a sandwich. So I say that because even times when the Bible doesn't say they're fasting, if they're in. You know, when Jesus is praying and Elijah appears beside him and his face shines, I don't think he's also like, hey, anybody got like a buffalo chicken sandwich? They're not eating, they're praying. And the fasting's implied. So Jesus is in a special time of consecrated prayer. He comes down the mountain and what's the religious people and his disciples doing? They are. What's the third to last word? Arguing. So when you don't carry power as a minister or a Christian, you spend all your time arguing. You spend your time in other people's YouTube comments, Facebook. I don't think he should have done that. If Jesus was ministering in 2026, there had been comments on his Instagram. Did he really have to spit in the blind man's eye? Kind of disrespectful to the blind community. Isn't had been all that. I bet he walks on water because he can't swim. So when you. Well, that joke went over better than I thought. I thought that one was like a C minus, but you guys liked it. So when you. When you don't carry power, you have to spend your time telling people why they're not healed, why things don't work. We don't understand how many know God has a plan? We don't understand it. Why don't you understand his plan? It's in this leather book, about 1100 pages, and he lays out the whole plan for you right there. Do you know why I have no qualms going to Venezuela or have to, Lord, Would you like me to go? 2nd Peter 3, 9. The Lord is not willing that anyone perish, so he's giving more time for everyone to repent and be saved. So any minister always has the blessing attached to them if they'll go out and find people that are bound by whatever poverty, drugs, suicidal thoughts. And then you go and take that power and set the captive free. Can you say amen?

I had three months to live. They told us on Wednesday in the medical center that I was going to die and something hit me and I stood up and I said, I serve a great big God and I'm going to live and not die. On Friday night, we were right here with that man standing right there and he walked down that aisle, and he didn't know me from Adam. And I had said, lord, if you're going to take me out, let's do it now. If not, my purpose is not finishing this life. I need a touch. And he stopped by there, didn't know me, and laid his hand right on my chest. And he said, lord, don't repair it. Make it brand new. And immediately I could feel heat from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Went back to the medical center and told him what happened. They said, oh, well, hey, you're going across street to the guy that invented the PET scan, and we're going to check your heart. I go back a week later, he walk in. This time, didn't give him his clinics. He took the chart, threw it in Florida. And he said, we can't find that heart attack, and we can't even find the paperwork. Now I'm in the ministry in Guthrie, Oklahoma, working with Teen Challenge Prison ministry. And I got to Sunday school for the whole church on Sunday morning. And this man started it all right here. And then the good Lord changed my life.

I know guys in Texas don't like hugging other guys, but make an exception for me. Love you. And so if you don't do that, you argue. I don't like Joel Osteen. I don't like polite. I don't like Jensen Franklin. I don't like the Pope. I don't like. Who do you like? You live in a house with one dog, and even the dog is, like, in the other room. Like, this guy's a little negative for me. So you turn into a bitter loser when you have religion without the power of God. Read. Read if you want. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And you're going to find everywhere Jesus went to do miracles, there were Pharisees and Sadducees standing there to see if he did it right. You're not allowed to heal on the Sabbath. And then Jesus would. Jesus had, like, no problem with bar owners. It wasn't a bunch of motorcycle gang members, drug dealers that put Jesus on the cross. It was religious people that don't like the power of God. And nothing has changed in 2000 years. If you want to have an uncontroversial ministry, don't cast out devils, don't pray for the sick, don't help anybody that needs help. But if you take the power of God and you start to throw the devil's sorry rear end out of places, all of hell breaks loose to persecute you. Because the devil can't stop you. He can only get you to get discouraged and be ashamed. But when you receive God's power this month of January, you're gonna go out into a dark world with the light of God and drive the devil out. The devil that used to think he was gonna take you out, you're coming back in the power of God to take him out. In Jesus name, if you believe it, can you shout Amen? 18, 9, 18. Whenever the spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit. But they could not do it. So come out of him. I said come out. Nah, I'm good. You see people like that with their four year olds at the stores. You get over here. Come on. Come on, Lilac. Somebody say a word with me. Say authority. Jesus said In Luke chapter 10, behold, I give unto you authority over all the power of the devil so you can have authority. What would happen? Does a police officer have authority over criminals? Yes. If somebody's robbing a 711 and he goes, if the mayor finds out about what you're doing, boy are you in for rude awakening. Then nothing's going to happen. Because the officer that wears a badge as a sign of his authority that he's been deputized by the mayor or whoever, the city council, whatever, to enforce the laws then anyone that won't respect the badge. That's why you have a gun. It's no different in the spirit realm. You have authority over how much of the power of the devil. Jonathan, I heard you're going to Africa. When you go over there, you're going to find there's like greater demons. Great good to know I have authority not over the lesser ones. And then it's a struggle for the great greater. Jesus dethroned the whole kingdom. Then where people get messed up. This is why people start developing insane and stupid theologies about healing. We prayed and they weren't healed. I guess it was their time. No, it's not the time. You don't say that the Lord took someone home when they're nine. You are making that whole family hate God. It's not God that kills. It's the devil that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. But I have come that you might have have it. How more abundant overflow. Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Somebody say, too much life. Hallelujah. That means too much life's. Like wherever the sole of your foot will tread, you're on land that I've given to you. When my wife goes and preaches in the prison, she doesn't get hurt by the prisoners. The prisoners get saved. You overwhelm the atmosphere. The atmosphere doesn't overwhelm you. Can you say amen? I found the picture on my phone. Jeff, that's head of security, wherever he's at. Poor guy has been waiting to kill somebody for, like, four years. And all anybody ever wants to do is hug me. There's a picture of this guy from a motorcycle gang coming up on me and Jeff standing there. And then in the next picture, the guy gives me a big hug, and Jeff goes, is like this. I've never had anybody take a swing at me. I've never had anybody do anything. And I'm talking preaching in Kensington, Philadelphia, open air, not in a church, all that stuff. All there is is a line you've seen on the Newark video. I'm laid down on the stage. Houston people reaching up to hug me. There was a. There was a head of a gang in Houston when we were doing that Christmas crusade out there. And he kind. There were other gang people. You know, we were in. We were in one of the worst parts of Houston, Texas. He, like, surveyed the scene and then walked over by me and went, let me walk with you. In other words, like, this is not a good spot, but I'm with you. And he had three. I never asked. The Lord protects those he loves. Hallelujah. So when you don't understand the power of God, then you start making excuses as to why people don't get healed. That's what led me into prayer and fasting. I got tired when I was 22 and 23 of there being a line of people I prayed for. I didn't really like. I've been coming to your meetings, and nothing's really changed. You know, am I doing something wrong? And I felt like, no, but I got a feeling I am. And so I went to the Lord, and then he took me to Mark nine. Father, I've been preaching for like a year and a half. I've not seen any notable miracle in 18 months. And the Lord took. I felt it in my spirit. Say this out loud. God will always speak to you out of his word. He's not going to come up with some cockamamie thing that if you find three dandelions and throw them eastward, the miracle power will come. So this is the story. He took me to Mark 9, 18. Whenever the spirit seizes him. Notice when that father said that my son is bound by a devil, Jesus didn't say, oh, you ignorant first century people. You think everything's spirit. But you'll find out as medical technology advances that there's no such thing. No Jesus. One out of every three people Jesus healed in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There was a demon that had to be dealt with. And it's no different here. Verse 19. When I brought them to your disciples, they could not do it. What was the problem? Here's one of them. You faithless people. I mean, Jesus would have got voted out of his church if it was run by a board. That's his address to the crowd. You faithless people. Some of these people teach that when you're not healed, it's because you didn't have enough faith. Yes, one of them was Jesus. Everybody's not overflowing in faith. And so I'm not saying if you don't receive something, you don't have enough faith. But there are. There's a reason the Bible gives explicit commands to continually preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because faith comes by and hearing by. How many of you have been coming to this church for at least two years? How many of you feel like you had more, you have more faith now than when you came? Yeah, because you've been an intake. We're already two passages deep and in my mind I'm in the introduction, but I feel like it's starting to turn into the main message. We do word here. It's not just, you know, I was at Sheets today and I saw a hot dog and I was thinking how the bun represents God's life wrapped around our life. No, everybody say the Bible. Jesus said to him, you faithless people. So if faith, faith, if a lack of faith hinders God's power moving, then how do you get more faith? There's only one way scripturally that faith comes. You can't pray for it. You can't. It comes by and hearing. By hearing the Bible makes an actual substance called faith rise up in your spirit. You faithless people. How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me. 20. So they brought the boy to Jesus. But when the evil spirit sought Jesus, I preached on this in the 8am service. And I'm going to try not to get stopped here. But this is powerful. Now think of this. You had the 12 disciples come out of him. Come out of him. Won't come out. The kid still sees him. Then Jesus walks towards the boy and the demon starts packing its suitcase. Before Jesus ever says anything, demon's freaking out. Seizing. When the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. How long has this been happening? Jesus asked the boy's father. He replied, since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire, into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us. If you. Now listen how the guy talks, obviously he doesn't have no faith or he wouldn't have even come to Jesus. He'd have just said, like I've heard about what that guy does. I don't believe in any of that. If he's so good, how come he hasn't come to my house and healed me? He brought his boy to be healed. But he, he's 50. 50. And the Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man expect to receive anything from God. That's why you've never heard statements from this pulpit when we started the church four years ago. Whether this church grows or not, I'm just going to be faithful. No. Anything you're not convinced of out of God's word, it won't work. So if I thought we're rolling dice, maybe the church will grow, maybe it won't. It won't grow. But when you see that Jesus Christ said, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it, then it gives you faith that there's nothing that can happen that can stop the growth of this church.
