America. CPAC USA 2026 is underway in the Lone Star State and real America's voice is bringing you wall to wall coverage. Live shows from the convention floor, exclusive interviews, powerful panels, music, entertainment and more featuring Dr. Gina Louden, Jack Vasobic, plus Steve Bannon and others presented by Birch Gold Group and patriot mobile. CPAC USA 2026 starts right now.
John Fredericks
Good evening, America. Happy Thursday. Welcome. We're at the Justin News Noise booth here at Real America's Voice at CPAC 2026 in Grapevine, Texas, the beautiful Gaylord Resort Hotel. In a few seconds, the man who made this all possible is going to join us, Matt Schlapp, who's been putting these things together. They get bigger and better every year. He's sitting right next on me. We're going to get him in here in a second. I want to turn to one news story, by the way. Amanda's up in Washington. She's in the pool with President Trump right now. So we're not going to get her on the show tonight, but we're going to cover one thing we broke overnight. A lot of you probably heard about it over the course of the day. The United States government, the National Security Agency, intercepted conversations of President Zelensky's government in Ukraine in 2022, late 2022, conspiring with federal workers at the USAID to come up with a plan to take $200 million of USAID money. That is your money, folks, taxpayer money, route it through a series of transactions, move it into the United States and launder it into Joe Biden's 2024 campaign and the Democratic National Committee. We have the intercepts. For the first time, Tulsi Gabbard's team was willing to declassify them. There is now an investigation underway, beginning with USAID to look at who was involved, whether any crimes were committed, and if that is the case, to refer that to the FBI in the next few days. Those declassified documents up atjust the news.com you can go check about it today. Members of Congress have been clamoring all day to get their hands on the documents. I expect Tulsi Gabbard to make a statement later tonight and where things are evolving in her investigation. But we've gone from the era of weaponization, where the primary tool was using prosecutors and FBI agents to disable Donald Trump and his followers and all the good people around him to now potentially conspiring with foreign powers to have an impact on our elections. We have the Ukraine stuff this morning. And remember what we told you three weeks ago? Proof from the FBI that China sent thousands, tens of thousands of driver's licenses to the United States with fake names to get fake ballots to vote for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. Those aren't my words. Those are the words of the FBI informant in the FBI documents that we made public a few months ago. So China possibly conspiring with Joe Biden and the Democrats, and now possibly Ukraine. Two investigations underway. We're going to keep you apprised of that right now. Meanwhile, an incredible day here in Grapevine, Texas at cpac. The energy in this room is off the charts. People are energized. People say now the Republicans are complacent. Not any of them are here. I'll tell you, the complacent ones aren't here. This is a get it done crowd. Joining us right now, the man who makes this event possible every year, plus all the CPACs around the world, the chairman of CPAC, Matt Schlatt. Matt, great to have you on, John, thank you. Look at that.
Matt Schlapp
Great to have you back at cpac.
John Fredericks
We love it.
Matt Schlapp
You just keep breaking news.
John Fredericks
There's a lot of truth. Wow.
Matt Schlapp
Journalism is a lie.
John Fredericks
It is. It is. Yeah. Sean and I disagree. I think it's still alive a little bit. Yeah. We've been here about 24, 36 hours now. Lots of energy, lots of ideas. I keep hearing, get it done. People don't want to talk about things. They want to get action. That's the whole theme of this conference, right? Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
Action over words. I mean, we've all sat back and see how people in the conservative movement maybe sometimes make it about themselves instead of about what we all have to get done together. You know, there's a lot of people speaking on the stage who maybe aren't my favorite conservative.
John Fredericks
Right.
Matt Schlapp
But they're part of this, and that's what a coalition is all about. It doesn't mean you agree with them on every issue or you like them at every moment. It means that they're an important voice in sketching this thing together. I think we got a little overconfident when Donald Trump won that we could start doing pot shots at each other if we do that.
John Fredericks
When you're giving the enemy the Playbook. That's what you're doing. There's a lot of frustration that the Save America act hasn't gotten through. It looks like the Senate might bail for a couple of weeks. It seems like the plan right now might be to get that into the omnibus bill, slip it under and get it through. Are you confident the American people will get the election and ticker they want but in time for 20, 26?
Matt Schlapp
I'm not confident that the Senate process, the Senate parliamentarian will let that.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
Say that's a problem survive. And I. We've had Lucy in the football with the Senate parliamentarian which is really just means the Senate.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Matt Schlapp
Republicans.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Matt Schlapp
We want to do it, but we can't because of the law. Y so we have to pass this the old fashioned way. We got to make those old octogenarian enfeebled senators who say that it's racist to have voter id, make them hold it in their bladder, let them stand on the floor of the Senate, make them take a nap on a cot. I don't think they can do it. I don't think they can hold their forces together.
John Fredericks
No, I don't think they can. That's why they fear it. What's the key to doing that? You've made a lot of powerful movements over the years that got things through Congress, got things to the American people. What do people here need to do to start to apply that pressure?
Matt Schlapp
Well, on the Save America act everyone's got to call their Senate offices and you got to tell them that you expect a filibuster comes from either the Greek or Latin. John's more educated me he'll know but it means literally talk a bill to death.
John Fredericks
Right.
Gordon Chang
And.
Matt Schlapp
And instead what happens in our United States Senate is someone just has to say, I think I might do a filibuster. And our side says, oh, we're, we're doomed. I guess we just have to get in.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
And we have to make them earn it. And part of earning it is show us why you're so opposed to voter ID. By the way. Something like 168 countries have voter ID.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
Every other country we have a CPAC in in all these continents has voter ID.
John Fredericks
No, there's no doubt it's. It's such a common sense thing. 8590 popular here. I think the conservative movement's to going to get two giant wins in the Supreme Court. It feels like the Missouri and Louisiana cases are going to go the way of a true constitutional government that Means Democrats can't run ballots in 3, 4, 7, 10, 21 days after the election in Washington. And gerrymandered districts, racially gerrymandered districts disappear. How consequential is that for the 26 election?
Matt Schlapp
That's a big deal because Democrats were always the ones that initially did gerrymandering because they didn't want. They didn't want blacks to vote. Right. They didn't want blacks to be in Congress. Right. All the early elected blacks in Congress in the Senate were Republicans. And now you have Democrats using race again to try to rig it.
Gordon Chang
Right.
Matt Schlapp
I think the more egregious one is the idea that you can vote after election day. So this is practically figure out what this means. What this means is they get to figure out the votes they need to steal.
John Fredericks
Right.
Matt Schlapp
To make up the difference on election night. This happens over and over and over again in Europe. They have almost 30 elections all throughout Europe. They know who won their election by about 10pm yeah, it's over. And by the way, they're not all conservative countries, but there's no disagreement that it's racist to have a voter idea. And there's no disagreement that you could have paper ballots and count them by the time the dishes are done for dinner.
John Fredericks
Yeah, there's no doubt. It's simple. They just don't want to do it because that's the ambiguity gives them that chance to win. I want to turn to the agenda. What does the Republican Party need to do to get more of the Trump agenda done before November? What's your highest priority things?
Matt Schlapp
I mean, we lose the November election, we're done. You know, this thing is going to get stopped.
Podcast Host Intro
So this is critical.
Matt Schlapp
The second thing is we have to keep ultimately pressure on the Senate. Now look, Mike Johnson, I just want to say, has the toughest job there is.
John Fredericks
You ain't kidding.
Matt Schlapp
I think he's got essentially a 11 vote majority.
John Fredericks
Yeah. Right.
Matt Schlapp
And. And he's gotten everything done that we care about.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
And. And so I think we have to help Mike Johnson keep that one seat majority doing the right thing. And then we just have to keep the pressure on the Senate. It's what we've always had to do. The Senate has always been weak.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Matt Schlapp
The Senate always stinks. The bottom line is if you have a primary and you have a chance to send a more conservative person to the Senate. Right. How about you do it? How about Texas does that?
John Fredericks
Yeah, exactly. Perfect. Exactly. All right, Let me ask about cpac. It has grown beyond anyone's wildest imagination. Multiple countries. People look to this conference for inspiration in a place where maybe conservatives are pinned down in their country and then they get a seat back going and all of a sudden conservative comes up. Where's your next expansion is going to be? Where are you going to go next?
Matt Schlapp
Germany in the uk. Now, some people say that that's a waste of time because Western Europe is lost. Maybe this is the last gasp, but America had a last gas.
John Fredericks
We did.
Matt Schlapp
Donald Trump came around and changed history. There's a chance this could happen in those countries as well. You know, Europe isn't dead, it's just that its heartbeat has moved to the central and Eastern Europe. Poland is making great strides.
John Fredericks
Hungary.
Matt Schlapp
Hungary has made great strides. I think Romania is ready to bust our way. We had a big victory in the Czech Republic. There's some other countries in Eastern Europe. So I would say don't give up on Europe. Matter of fact, we're running an ad throughout CPAC that shows all these election victories we've had in Central America, South America and in Europe. We're actually winning more than we're losing.
John Fredericks
No, conservatism is reviving all around the globe and, and Donald Trump was really that flashpoint, I think, where it began. All right, the election. I think there's a little bit of what we would call Trump hangover. People know they got the job done in 24. It's not uncommon to be complacent in the 25 off term elections, special elections. But getting people out to vote in the fall, how important is it and what are some of the tools that maybe we need to turn the volume up on in the next few months?
Matt Schlapp
Well, the coalition that elected Trump needs to be held together.
John Fredericks
Yep.
Matt Schlapp
So that meant it was some atypical people. We did really well with this Hispanics, we did really well with black men. We had this new maha coalition.
John Fredericks
Right.
Matt Schlapp
We had non extremist Muslims in states like Michigan who said, you know what, I like Trump. He's pro family, he's pro life. And, and we don't like the regime in Iran, but we're still proud of our heritage, our Arab heritage. So we stitched this all together. We've got to do that to win. So what CPAC will do? Last cycle everyone said, oh, we got to make it too big to rig. We got to have all this early voting. I saw everybody going, I would say we almost overfunded early voting. Everyone said, went out, told their donors, hey, give us money, we'll get the early voting done. CPAC did something different. We decided to watch ballot boxes that were unprotected and we stopped the hanky panky in states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. We did Hispanic outreach because. Because of my wonderful bride who has a passion for that. We did some Muslim and Arab outreach and we'll be looking to do those kind of offbeat things.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
We can't all do the same strategy.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Matt Schlapp
Let the Trump campaign apparatus do what it needs to do. Let the RNC do what it needs to do. Conservatives like at CPAC will also do it. What they need to do.
John Fredericks
Oh, yeah. Well, you got an energized crowd here. When people go into that ballot box and they pull that lever, they fill out that punch card in November, what do you think's the one question that's going to be in the back of their mind when they vote? What's that question that this election turns on?
Matt Schlapp
It needs to be about the Trump agenda. If they think about the Trump agenda. We get the Trump voters turnout again.
John Fredericks
Right.
Matt Schlapp
We're going to win. We're going to be fine.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
If they stay home because they say, yeah, the Republican is good, but he isn't great and I'm not really going to go out of my way to vote for them. We're going to lose these majorities, then we won't get another Antoninskali on the Supreme Court and all we'll have is impeachment hearings.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
One after the other.
John Fredericks
I think 38 them all. Yeah, they will. Yeah. It's crazy. Looking out over the next year, a lot of the people here are younger. You're seeing a new generation. I mean, younger than you and me. Oh, way younger than you. Unless I'm way younger than me, at least. Yeah. There is this incredible new young conservative walking around here and they're engaged in ways that I could imagine in faith, in family, in politics. What's been the key to attracting that audience and what's the key to growing it and activating it so that it's a force in the fall for the young people? Yeah.
Matt Schlapp
You know, I got five kids and my youngest is in eighth grade. And I feel like I spend all my time with young people because I spend a lot of time with my children. And what I noticed about the movement from the Swamp to Texas. Yep. Is it was an organic people reaching out from young people and organizations that have an approach to young people. Look, I think the murder of Charlie Kirk had a very devastating effect on this cause on young people. And you know, for many of Them, they're kind of searching, you know, where's my home? And I think there's several great conservative groups that could be a home for those people. But by and large, all of us need to understand that we've done a crappy job of turning a beautiful country over to the young people. I don't blame them for being mad at us.
John Fredericks
I agree with you.
Matt Schlapp
But we also have done a crappy job of mentoring young people in what builds civilization, what builds virtue, what builds joyfulness. And I think we've woken up to the fact that that must end.
John Fredericks
Oh, yeah, we made a very depressed young generation. And they don't celebrate the greatness of America because they were told it was a bad country. We're reversing.
Matt Schlapp
The world's gonna end next week because of global climate change.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Matt Schlapp
I mean. I mean, you're not really the right gender. I mean, look what you've done to these kids. No wonder they're mad.
John Fredericks
Yeah, I would be mad, too, if I'd been put through all of that. What do you think is the biggest surprise ahead for the Trump agenda? Donald Trump. You know, I think Cuba looks like it may fall. Iran certainly is demolished. Venezuela is in better leadership than it was a few months ago. Where do you think the next big surprise comes in the Trump agenda?
Matt Schlapp
You know, overseas, if Cuba falls, I think it's a matter of time. I don't know. That's so much in a short period of time. It is amazing with that. And my wife is Cuban American, so this is a very special thing that
John Fredericks
spent time in prison there, didn't he?
Matt Schlapp
Yeah, he tried to assassinate Castro, and he was tortured, and most of his friends were killed, and he somehow survived. And he's in his 90s in Miami, and, you know, everyone's in a little state of shock that this is really happening. But what I'd like to see happen more than anything else is for the American people to understand that the Trump policies are making the economy stronger, that we must have strong families in order to. For our country to prosper. And I think the midterms are so critical, because if the midterms turn into a repudiation of all that, that's a problem. It's a big setback.
John Fredericks
Yeah, it's a big setback. And like you said, it'll be impeachment, impeachment and impeachment again. Matt, for all you do to make this possible, not only here, but all across the world, it's such an honor to have you on the show. Thank you for what you do for conservative. I watch you a long time.
Matt Schlapp
You're one heck of a mover taker. Without you.
John Fredericks
That means a lot to me.
Matt Schlapp
Thanks for really doing journalism.
John Fredericks
I love it. It's my therapy. Thanks, everybody. All right, we're going to take a quick commercial break. When we come back, Natasha Owens, another number one hit on her resume. Going to join us right after these messages.
Matt Schlapp
How are you, Sir?

John Fredericks
Hey, folks. President Trump has a plan to correct the greatest financial injustice in our nation's history. 1933, Franklin Delano Roosevelt seized America's gold and artificially set its official value at $35 per ounce. Now, nearly 90 years later, our national gold reserves are still officially valid at just $42.22 per ounce. While gold trades for get a little this over $5,000 in the real world, this math era has undervalued America's gold reserves by over $1.3 trillion. Now, Trump's plan to revalue our gold to market prices could trigger the biggest wealth transfer event in a generation. But here's the urgent part. Central banks worldwide have been quietly stockpiling over 1,000 tons of gold per year since 2023. They know it's coming. Wall street analysts are predicting gold could rise as high as $10,000 an ounce, even $24,000 per ounce. When the Great Gold Reset happens. If you want to protect your retirement from currency devaluation and position for the Great Gold Reset, here's your opportunity. America's Voice live from CPAC USA 2026 in the Lone Star Suite.
John Fredericks
All right, folks, welcome back. I'm here at cpac. My next guest needs no introduction. Her music has filled halls with extraordinary inspiration, with Celebration of America. But most importantly, when I think of Natasha Owens, I think of this thing. Stand your ground. So many people in the cultural space yielded the ground to the left for a long time. They were told, it's a way to save your career. It's a way to go along and get along. And all we did was let the culture slide. Natasha never did that. And she has proven time and again she can take her music to number one. We're lucky to be joined by her right now. Natasha, great to have you on the show.
Natasha Owens
Thank you so much for having me
John Fredericks
and congratulations on everything. I mean, every time I look around, you got another number one song. It's amazing. What's the biggest lesson? There's so many people in the entertainment industry. They're afraid of their label, they're afraid of their audience, they're afraid of the social media trolls, and they back down. You've proven leaning in is a better strategy, isn't it?
Natasha Owens
It is. People are so hungry for truth.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Natasha Owens
And they want somebody that's courageous and that has backbone and that can give a voice back to them. And so people respect that. When you don't know who you are and you waver.
John Fredericks
Yeah. No, you're right. You don't feel authentic to people. Yeah. You do a lot of your writing of your own songs. You do a lot of telling a story to the American people. And I think of the young people in this generation that grew up in schools, and their teacher told us we're a racist, misogynist, troubled, bad society, and that's all that was fed to them. And then they get to meet one of your songs, and they get to celebrate the people that you celebrate. What's the key? What's the key? Inspiration. When you sit down, say, I'm going to write something right now. I'm doing something.
Natasha Owens
Well, you know, I. There's a topic that always comes up that I think that needs truth. That's something that's being censored. We're not allowed to talk about it. So let's give a song to the people to be able to sing about it.
John Fredericks
Right.
Natasha Owens
And so that's usually the first motivation, but then to see how people are thanking me, not only to standing up, but giving them the words to fight back in this culture war, that they never would have had the opportunity to say. They feel like that they're a part of this movement.
John Fredericks
Yeah, no, you've invited them in. You said to me during the break that you feel like this helps people get their voice back or give them their voice. That seemed to be a big problem the five years before Donald Trump won. There was so much censorship in this country was almost unrecognizable. Do you feel it's easing a little bit that we're winning a little bit of that free speech, that free expression
Natasha Owens
back on one side? Yes, because they're a little bit more afraid and more reserved, but they're still playing the games. For a song of mine, or anyone's, to get to the number one song spot in this conservative movement takes so much more effort.
John Fredericks
Yeah, that's right.
Natasha Owens
Because we're not allowed to advertise. We're not allowed to buy our way to the top. It's just people hitting. If they can see the music, they'll sense that's the key if they can get to it and buy it. So it means the world to us for the support. But just know that it's five times harder for us than anybody else. It shouldn't be that way.
John Fredericks
It shouldn't. And it was not that way for A long time. I mean, the last 20 years, it just has gotten worse and worse. What's been the biggest lesson you've learned? I mean, taking on the music industry, Taking on a left that hates your values, your. Your spirituality. What's been the biggest lesson on this journey?
Natasha Owens
My goodness. I guess just not. You have to have thick skin, right?
John Fredericks
Yeah. That's important, right?
Natasha Owens
Death threats. It's a spiritual warfare. This is not between left and. And right or Democrats and Republicans. This is between good and evil. And you have to know that my God is bigger and that he will protect me. And just do not be afraid. Do not be afraid.
John Fredericks
Faith is so important not only to your songs, but just the way you conduct yourself. When I watch you on stage or I hear one of your songs, there's just a voice of God flowing through you. What. What do you do to keep you. You're on the road, you're chugging at 100 miles an hour, seven days a week. How do you keep connected with your faith when you're that busy?
Natasha Owens
Well, you know, like I said, there's a spiritual warfare that comes with this. And I have to fight my battle every day on my knees. And if prayer is not a part of my foundation, then it just makes me so much weaker.
John Fredericks
Right.
Natasha Owens
It's God that gives me that strength.
John Fredericks
Yeah. Every day. It's an amazing thing. You have a lot coming down the pike. You've had an incredible start to this year. What's the next big project that you got coming down that's going to get everyone excited?
Natasha Owens
Well, now it is America's 250th anniversary. So we are on the 250 tour and I was asked to write the song for America and for that tour. So we're about to launch America 250. We've also got a Charlie Kirk song that we're putting out in September. It's going to be really a good tribute and sentimental to him.
John Fredericks
It's pretty awesome.
Natasha Owens
Yeah.
John Fredericks
Such an amazing moment for our generation to celebrate this country and to reverse some of the false narratives that have been out there for the last few years. And you're doing that as you. You've been on the tour for a little now. What's the biggest surprise when you get out in the field, you meet someone, you have a moment or two that says this is what America's all about.
Natasha Owens
My goodness, there 98% of this country loves freedom, loves God, and loves everything that we are fighting for. And to see people like minded in unity and singing maybe a song that I wrote, and they've got tears streaming down their face.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Natasha Owens
With all the sacrifice, with all the fighting, it's worth that moment. It's worth the sacrifice of what we're doing, what we're trying to do.
John Fredericks
Stunning. It's amazing. All right, before we let you go, there is a lot of young people. They're coming up on YouTube. They're trying to get their voice. They're trying to break into the industry. They probably are more conservative than they've been allowed to be in their circle sphere. What's the best advice we have for some young budding artists out there who wants to break through but doesn't want to lose the authenticity of who they are and where they come from?

John Fredericks
I knew it.
Natasha Owens
Bruce Springsteen. We received an email from my team or to my team, where he. They did not like the song, and they let us know with very four letter words that they didn't like it.
Matt Schlapp
Wow.
John Fredericks
So classy, huh?
Natasha Owens
That makes me smile. Our response back was, anytime you want us to do a duet, you just let me know.

I danced to Rosalita I shouted out Thunder Road. I used to believe you sang for me in those glory days of old. Where is your song for justice? Where is your song for the working man? I was born in the USA and you spill my promised land. You preach from your mansion but you don't know the cost I thank God you're not the boss. What about Lake and Riley? Is Charlie too? Hard to say. What about when you took your shot and the one you called came? Where is your song Song for justice? Where is your song for working man? I was born USA can you spit on my promised land? You preach from your mansion but you don't know the cross I thank God you're not the boss

in Walmart CPAC USA 2026 in Texas. This is real America's voice.
John Fredericks
All right, folks, welcome back. I've got some great news. Amanda Head is back in the house. She just finished up her pool duty at the White House covering the president. Was in the Oval Office with the President a couple times today. Amanda, good to have you on the show. Wish you were here at cpac. We miss you.
Amanda Head
I sure do. Well, you know, if I have to Ms. CPAC, there she is. If I have to. Can you hear me?
John Fredericks
Yeah, we got you. Go ahead.
Amanda Head
Okay. I was just saying, if I have to Ms. CPAC, it might as well be for something like being at the White House and talking to the President. But it's good to be back. It's good to be here.
John Fredericks
Yeah. We love having you. We miss you. Oh, you have so many people that have been asking about you the whole time I've been walking around here, so. You're very well loved here. All right. Another man who's loved here because he demands accountability, he demands truth, he demands a constitutional republic, just the way we were supposed to be. He is the founder of the Article 3 project, a great friend, one of the smartest legal minds I've ever met in my long career as a journalist. He is the one and only Mike Davis. Mike, good to have you here, brother. Look at that. They love you. They love you. A truth teller. All right. I know a lot of people around here. Like, we're tired of hearing that they're going to be indictments. We want indictments. We want handcuffs. We want some bad people to go to prison. So we have some deterrence. I've been very impressed watching Jason Kanone, his staff down in Miami. It seems like they've got a team killer team down there. The fact that Congress was asked to transmit official transcripts Christmas week of John Brennan, probably a sign that they're moving close to an indictment there, right?
Mike Davis
Yeah. I mean, you know Jason Redding. Kennis is the U.S. attorney down in the Southern District of Florida and Miami. We have a court filing showing that he opened up a special grand jury in Fort Pierce Pierce, Florida. That's where the Mar a Lago raid happens. There has been nearly a decade of, of weaponization by Obama and Biden and the people who work for them against President Trump, his top aides, his allies, his supporters. And I think we're going to start seeing some crucial accountability. And I would say to John Brennan, it looks like there's some pretty damning evidence that you may have perjured yourself before Congress and obstructed a congressional investigation. Investigation, yeah.
John Fredericks
Those are heavy charges, dude. That's something. You're going to face some serious penalty for that, right? Yeah, it's amazing. Amazing.
Amanda Head
And Mike, it wasn't just weaponization within the intelligence community. Of course, it was lawfare. It was within our legal system. And one of the things that President Trump spoke at length about today, and you're one of the people that I thought of when he was talking about this, because you are so savage for the Constitution. President Trump talked about justices and judges in this country and how much they have wrecked the Constitution in many ways. And I wanted to get your thoughts specifically on that.
Mike Davis
Yeah, I mean, we have, we have the Biden administration, the Obama administration, politicizing and weaponizing intel agencies and law enforcement to take out political enemies. This is much bigger than Watergate, much more scandalous than Watergate.
Gordon Chang
And it's.
Mike Davis
There has to be accountability for this, because if there's not, there's not accountability. The next time Democrats. That's right, office is going to get much worse.
John Fredericks
They're going to triple down. They have no fear, no fear at all. The size of the surveillance state. Now, we were always taught that the FBI only investigates you if they have a real predicate, but now we realize most of the predicates didn't exist. They had a. Things called assessments. Hundreds of people around Trump who are always innocent, never charged, got surveilled, their phone records taken. Susie Wiles, Cash Patel. Are you shocked by the size of the surveillance state on this?
Mike Davis
Well, I mean, I should be shocked, yeah, because it's appalling. It's, it's Republican. What these Democrats have done to our law enforcement and intel agencies. This is what you do in the Soviet Union.
John Fredericks
That's right.
Mike Davis
This is what you do in Red China. And it's unacceptable that this is happening in America. We have the campaign manager for President Trump, Susie Wiles. Her phone calls with her attorney were being taxed and they were hiding this. They were covering this up. Not only did they go after Trump his top aides, his allies. It seems like Senate Republicans are starting to care about this for the first time in eight years when they found out that they were also members of Congress.
John Fredericks
Minimum, they need more, at least 14. Now, if.
Mike Davis
Heads, heads, heads must roll. People must be held accountable for this. People must go to prison.
John Fredericks
That's very important, Mike.
Amanda Head
I'm concerned that heads will roll, but not in the direction of justice. There are a number of Democrats who have flat out said that if President Trump does not have someone following him up in the America first movement or just a Republican, that they will absolutely seek retrib retribution. Has there been anything done in the law community to prevent against what we once saw to make sure that it doesn't happen again when Trump leaves office?
Mike Davis
Well, I would say this, Amanda. If you put people in prison, they can't prosecute you. So I think it's really important that over the next three years that the Trump Justice Department holds accountable these lawfare Democrats for the most serious crimes imaginable, which is turning our federal governments, our intel agencies and law enforcements into weapons against political enemies. It's unacceptable and they must be held accountable.
John Fredericks
You got that exactly right, Mike, before we let you go, there's been a troubling turn in the weaponization data. So about four months ago, Cash Patel released a document showing that China looked like they were sending some driver's license into the country to file fake registrations to vote for Joe Biden in 2020. Then we learned that China hacked many voter registration databases, maybe ahead of those licenses coming in, suggesting those are connected. That's foreign interference. And if they're sending to the United States, it must have been Democratic that we're going to catch that data. Then today we have an NSA intercept that's been declassified by Tulsi Gabbard that reveals that Ukraine was talking with USAID workers, our workers, federal workers in Ukraine, to concoct a $200 million grant and then distribute that money in a way that would eventually get back to Joe Biden's campaign. Weaponization, going after, sidelining, prosecuting, debilitating someone's reputation, maybe paired with some foreign collaboration. Yeah.
Mike Davis
When we have Ukraine funding Democrat campaigns in China, providing Democrat votes.
Gordon Chang
Yeah.
Mike Davis
This is, this is some very troubling news that we're, we're finding from Tulsi Gabbard in dni. And you know, they talked about the Russian interference in the 2016. 2016 campaign, which was non existent.
John Fredericks
It was made not.
Mike Davis
This is real interference.
John Fredericks
Yeah.
Mike Davis
By, by the Democrats.
John Fredericks
Yeah. I think that that's the thing. I think this thing is going to start to pivot. You have a lot of confidence in Jason Kennedy, don't you?
Mike Davis
I. Jason Reddickini is a good friend of mine. I recommended him to President Trump because he's bold and fearless. He comes from a family of Cuban refugees. He knows very personally what weaponized, politicized and weaponized governments against political enemies, how that turns out, like, like what happened in Cuba. So he's going to deliver justice.
John Fredericks
Yeah, I think that's right. I think you made news at the top of this that everybody wants to hear. Accountability is just a short while away. The first round of it coming pretty soon, probably with John, Brendan, Mike, it's always an honor to have you on the show. I love the work you do and you're always gracious with your time. Thanks for being.
Mike Davis
Thank you, John and Amanda, thank you.
John Fredericks
All right. Only Mike Davis could get Amanda to get back on the show. How about that? That's not much way he's got. All right, we're going to take a quick commercial break. When we come back, one of the greatest experts on China. He's been sounding alarm long before it was fashionable. Gordon Chang here next right after these messages.

Real America's Voice live from CPAC USA 2026 in the lone Star State.
John Fredericks
Welcome back, America. I'm hearing Grapevine Texas at the CPAC 2026 convention. Yep. The conservative political action convention. The crowd has been amazing. It's been gathered around the Real America's Voice studio all day. Lots of great folks here. Lots of great conversations in the everyday media. There are two topics that don't get enough coverage, particularly given the current risk to the world. One of those is China. And we're very lucky to be joined by one of the country's premier experts on China, Gordon Chang. And then Nigeria, there is a persecution of Christians going on of epic proportions in a country that used to once be incredibly, incredibly friendly to Christians. Today there is a holy war going on and many, many people are being killed just because of who they believe in. Joining me is Frank utu. Right? Yeah. And Kyle Apps. And you do an amazing work with a group called Equipping the Persecuted. We're going to turn to that in a second. Let's start with China because we've had a lot of news recently with China, starting with the summit got moved in May. President Trump's going to have an interesting conversation with President Xi today. There was evidence that a Chinese national was involved in an attack on a military base in Florida. We know that China was having conversations about hypersonic missiles. Does the president go right at China and say, hey, you're trying to harm our boys, our women?
Gordon Chang
We should. You know, we know on March 1st that drone that killed six American service members in Kuwait, that drone was 100%, well, maybe 99.99%. First of all, a Chinese shell. But also the components inside virtually every Iranian drone is Chinese. And we also know those, those supersonic anti ship cruise missiles fired at the Abraham Lincoln, those were Chinese, 100%.
John Fredericks
Wow. They're literally part of the war. They're fighting us.
Gordon Chang
Well, they're an enemy. They're an enemy combatant, John. And you know, it was not appropriate for President Trump to go there in the middle of a war.
John Fredericks
Right.
Gordon Chang
If the war is not done by May 14, the announced date for the summit. Then he's got to push it again.
John Fredericks
Yeah, it makes sense. That makes a lot of sense.
Amanda Head
Amanda, can you guys hear me?
John Fredericks
We can.
Amanda Head
Okay, good. All right, Gordon, I wanted to ask you about the FCC announcement this week about foreign manufactured routers. Obviously, the concern is, I think China is probably the number one concern when it comes to any type of malware or something infecting our grid, infecting our technological system. Is it a smart move? Is it too cautious? What do you think,
Matt Schlapp
John?
Gordon Chang
Could you. I didn't quite.
John Fredericks
Yes. What Amanda said is the FC see this week move to ban some of the Chinese technology routers. Yeah. How important is that and how severe is that threat? How pervasive is that threat?
Gordon Chang
It's really important because when you have the Chinese in your network backbone, it means that they can filch information, and it could very well mean that they could manipulate that backbone as well, which is an even greater threat. So I'm glad that the fcc, Brendan Carr chairman, has moved to get China out of our riders, and we also need to get them out of our rural networks. That is a rule, but it's also a rule which is being delayed because it takes some time to do that. But we don't have very much more time left. Amanda.
John Fredericks
That's a really extraordinary vulnerability we allowed to grow for a long time in our networks. We have evidence now that China makes the precursors that kills people who take chat. And in this country, we have evidence that they were complicit today in an attack on a military base, that they provided military gear to our enemy in Iran. Over the last few weeks, we've been developing evidence here at just the news that the intelligence community has known that China won access large numbers of voter registration databases. Well, that happened in Great Britain. It was a national crisis in 24. Here, the intelligence community kept quiet. How significant is that of an escalation of Chinese behavior if they're starting to hack our voter databases, put themselves in a position to influence or change an election outcome?
Gordon Chang
Essentially, the Chinese voted in 2020, and
Mike Davis
they had the only vote counted.
Gordon Chang
But it's not only just being in our networks. We know that China. This is New York Times reporting.
John Fredericks
Yeah, that's right.
Gordon Chang
2020 was involved in sending out text messages intended to disrupt the Trump campaign. And they had a very active social media campaign on the main platforms, Twitter now X Facebook. And so it's really important to get them out of that, because otherwise we just might as well have Xi Jinping pick the next president.
John Fredericks
That's right. Yeah. He'll get elected Chinese style. Yeah. That's amazing.
Amanda Head
Amanda Gordon. Yeah, Absolutely. Thank you. John Gordon. This makes me think of the myriad items that China is allowed to do to us and we are not allowed to do to them. And it makes me think of the organized protests and the riots that take place here that are organized. We see that they have Chinese backing. Would. Would that ever fly in China? Would we be able to do that? And what should we do in response?
Gordon Chang
Sorry, John, could you.
John Fredericks
Yeah. So Amanda was talking about all the things that China is allowed to do on our soil to destabilize us. The collaboration with the Singham network and fomenting violence and protests on our street. We don't do any of that against them right now. What should be the consequence for Chinese intervention on that?
Gordon Chang
Well, there's a number of things that we can do because we know they need access to our markets. We have all sorts of things that they absolutely determine on. And although we hold the high cards in the trade talks, President Trump has not used many of our cards, cards against China. Xi Jinping has used all of his cards but one, and one that he hasn't used is pharmaceuticals. So, you know, just pick from the menu. But clearly, you know, with China involved in all of these things, including killing Americans with fentanyl, I mean, the consequences absolutely have to be severe. Otherwise the Chinese will feel they can just do it again and again and again.
John Fredericks
Very tragic. We have for too long been an excuse maker for China. I think we finally have someone who doesn't make excuses anymore. The question is, what's that path to escalation? What do you expect to be the biggest thing President Trump can potentially achieve with Beijing in the summit?
Gordon Chang
I imagine it must be trade. And I suspect that what they'll do is they will extend the one year trade truce that was negotiated last October in South Korea. But, you know, we have so many issues of disagreement and concern and worse with the Chinese. So it's going to be a very contentious summit because Xi Jinping, I believe, sees a closing window of opportunity. He thinks he's got to move against us fast. And he realizes that President Trump is close to midterms, so they're going to really press the advantage. And one more thing. We see some very belligerent Chinese activity in the South China Sea against the Philippines this very hour.
Mike Davis
Yeah.
John Fredericks
No, it's scary stuff, Amanda. I want to just slip in one thing real quickly with Gordon, and then I want to turn to Nigeria which is just as an important issue when you look at the last four months of achievements in foreign policy by President Trump. Venezuela off the map. Iran severely disabled. Cuba maybe about to fall. China could very well have an energy crisis and need us to get bailed out. How much leverage does that give the president?
Gordon Chang
Well, that certainly gives the president more leverage. Now, of course, the Chinese, they have that very large strategic petroleum reserve, perhaps 1.2 billion barrels, which if that's true, has 140 days of import cover, plus they can buy a lot of stuff from the Russians. Nonetheless, it's one more knock on an already fragile Chinese economy. So that's why it's important. It may not be big in itself, but it's the proverbial straw on the camel's back.
John Fredericks
It's funny how much the dynamics change in a very short period of time. Trump has a lot more cards to play than he did a while ago. I'm sorry, I didn't want to cut in on you there.
Amanda Head
All good. No important conversation. I know that you wanted to switch over to U2, the gentleman from Nigeria. You two, I'll start with you. I think that a lot of Americans, they see what's happening in Nigeria and they don't necessarily grasp the horror that is taking place there. How bad has it gotten?
John Fredericks
How bad has it gotten in Nigeria?
M
Nigeria has become a failed state. It's corrupt from the presidential administration down to local politics. We need to have more eyes, more attention on it. And that's what the US Government has done when Trump enacted this country particular concern, a designation from the United States, international religious freedom. And they were, now they have to respond to that accusation or sorry, that designation. And now we'll see what happens. But it's gotten bad. It's probably one of the worst countries to be a Christian in the world.
John Fredericks
Yeah, it's really scary, Frank. Someone here as a group like, equipping the persecution, like, oh, this is a job for you, but for you, this is personal. Your own home community is right in the center of all of this persecution and killing, Right?
Podcast Host Intro
Correct. So my community of Yorata and the entirety of the middle belt of Nigeria is the center of gravity of the killings by the Islamists in Nigeria today. 70% of the killings of Christians anywhere in the world because of their faith is committed in Nigeria. 70%, an average of 34% Christians are killed every day in Nigeria because of their fate. And this has been going on for the past 12 years. So the case in Nigeria is a slow motion genocide. Unfortunately, the world Is not quite aware of it. Maybe primarily because of the fact that we are from a forgotten corner of the world. And again, because of the fact that the people killing the Christians in Nigeria are not the Jews, because if they were the Jews, they could have made the news. But the Islamists are responsible for killing Christians in Nigeria. And today, by the latest global terrorism index released two days ago, Nigeria is placed as the fourth most terrorized country in the whole world.
John Fredericks
World.
Podcast Host Intro
The fourth most terrorized country in the whole world. And Nigeria is housing the fifth largest terrorist organizations in the world. Only in Nigeria, we have the Boko Haram, which is operating in the northeast, and the Ice Swap, which is operating in the northeast and the northwest. Then you have the Ansaru, which is operating in the northwest and the middle belt. And then you have the Lakurawa, which is operating in the middle belt and the south. South. And then you have the most dangerous, the most vicious, the most evil of all these terrorist organizations. It is known as the militia. That is a militia that was designated by the bill that was recently passed in the congress, recently introduced in the congress by representative Riley Mo and Representative Chris Meads.
John Fredericks
We had him on the show talking about it. Yeah.
Podcast Host Intro
Correct. So that was a bill where they designated this particular group, the Fulani ethnic militia, as a global terrorist organization. That any militia is more dangerous than even Hamas and Hezbollah. Unfortunately, the world is not aware because it is happening in Nigeria.
John Fredericks
It's a blackout. No coverage. See the coverage, Frank.
Amanda Head
For believers and. Yeah. Thank you. For believers in Nigeria, are they at a place or do they feel like they're at a place where they could rise up if they had proper support from other nations? And if so, what do they need?
John Fredericks
Can believers rise up if they had proper support in Nigeria to resist this movement?
Mike Davis
Yeah.
John Fredericks
I mean, they can.
M
The evidence is Trump first time, when he had Buhari, the former president, in the office he accused, he confronted himself. What's happening in Nigeria Here they're killing our Christians. That's got to stop. I was in Nigeria the next day in the governor's office of his state, and he says, all hell's breaking loose because of what your president said yesterday. And Christmas, December 25th last year was the best day for Christians in Nigeria
John Fredericks
ever in the last 20 years. Sorry.
M
Because when Trump sent missiles in.
John Fredericks
Yep.
M
The person, the terrorists started to shy away, flee. So we know when Trump speaks, when. When the US Speaks, things happen.
John Fredericks
Gordon, we got about a minute left. This has been a vexing problem. You have a problem of killing Christians in Syria, difficult thing there because we're trying to keep the Middle east calm. And then you've got this incredible onslaught in Nigeria. In a country that used to be western friendly, wealthy, and friendly to Christians, what are the best policy prescriptions that President Trump and his team have right now?
Gordon Chang
Yeah, it's as described. President Trump has to use force because, you know, it's unfortunate, but there is no other way to stop the persecution of Christians. We have tried everything up to the use of force and has only failed. And the terrorists have gotten worse and worse over time.
John Fredericks
Yeah. Before we let you go, guys, we got about 10 seconds. What's the best way? If someone wants to get involved in what you're doing, how can they get involved and help?
Podcast Host Intro
All right, so equipping the persecuted has been standing as the gap has been standing in the gap for Nigerian persecuted Christians. Because at all times, there is no intervention from government. There's no intervention from any agency. So equipping the persecuted has always been the first to respond. To respond. So, of course, the best is to go to our site, equipping the persecuted.org and you can see where you can make your modest contribution. Whatever you give goes to the Christians who are persecuted in my community in Nigeria.
John Fredericks
We're going to go, folks. Go check out the site. We'll be back here at CPAC tomorrow. God bless. Have a great time.

The episode is charged, unsparing, and steeped in conservative populist urgency. There’s a palpable sense of coalition, grievance, and the need for action. Commentary is bold—sometimes conspiratorial, always direct. Guests speak candidly, as insiders who know the stakes are high and feel emboldened to name names, call out allies for complacency, and outline global threats without sugarcoating.
From breaking news on election interference to cultural and faith-based battles, the episode shapes a portrait of a movement at a crossroads, looking abroad for both inspiration and dangers. Listeners come away with a sense of the mood at CPAC 2026—defiant, urgent, emboldened—and the podcast’s belief that both political victories and cultural authenticity are necessary for conservatism’s future.
