Good evening America, Happy Monday and welcome to the latest edition of Just the News. No noise. I'm your host John Solomon reporting to you as always from a somewhat snowy nation's capital. Yeah, we got a little snow here this weekend. Rare this time of year. We have more news of deep state corruption to report to you tonight. Just the News has learned via a new memo how the corruption probe into the Clinton foundation was killed at the highest levels of the FBI. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassi provided us with a timeline written by FBI investigators laying out the repeated political obstruction those agents faced from their own bosses and the justice department during the 2016 election and beyond as they probed whether Hillary Clinton engaged in a pay to play corruption scheme involving her family foundation and a decision she made as Secretary of State under Barack Obama. Here's a couple major quotes from that timeline with one note saying, quote, field agents were frustrated, but headquarters would not let it go forward, meaning the investigation. Another revealed quote, we were trying to explore the Clinton foundation and we were told no by FBI hq. Remember another quote that we gave you not that long ago? That from the former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, who told the Justice Department to tell the FBI shut it down. That's another quote that was from federal prosecutors. These latest revelations follow FBI Director Cash Patel's unearthing of a shorter timeline written in 2017, which chronicled the more stone mauling the bureau investigators faced in three cities, Washington, D.C. little Rock, Arkansas and New York during the Obama era, DOJ and FBI. But today's new documents show that that stonewalling, that foot dragging, continued into the Trump administration in 17 and 18. One key player in it, the former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who insisted that any decision to move forward on the Clinton foundation would have to get his approval. Then of course, he said no, according to these documents. You can read the documents as well as Jerry Dunleave's and my story by heading over to justinews.com tomorrow or programming note. We have day two of this. You know who had a Russia collusion problem? No, it wasn't Donald Trump. It was Hillary Clinton. The FBI did in fact have the Uranium One investigation, a criminal investigation. We're going to break all that down for you tomorrow. But until then, I want to turn to one more headline, and that is Attorney General Pam Bondi announced earlier today that the FBI and DOJ had thwarted a planned terrorist attack in California by a far left, pro Palestine group who was supposed to occur on the New Year's weekend. Attorney General Bondi also named the group allegedly responsible, the Turtle Island Liberation Fund. There's one you probably never heard before. She described it as a far left, pro Palestine, anti government and anti capitalist group and was preparing to conduct a series of bombings against multiple targets in Southern California. Beginning on New Year's Eve. I'll have much more on that tonight. But first, let's get to my amazing co host, Amanda Head, who always has some great headlines. A new weapon of mass destruction I believe we heard about today.
B
Indeed.
E
And I believe it qualifies. And you will see that in the numbers that President Trump laid out in the Oval Office earlier. But yes, John, President Trump took another step today to help keep our border secure as well as stop the scourge of drug related deaths here in our country with an executive order tackling fentanyl. I'm going to let you hear what the President said in his own words today.
F
I'm taking one more step to protect Americans from the scourge of deadly fentanyl flooding into our country with this historic executive order I will sign today. We're formally classifying fentanyl as a weapon of mass destroyed destruction, which is what it is. No bomb does what this is doing. 200 to 300,000 people die every year.
D
That we know of.
E
And those numbers that President Trump repeated were pretty shocking. 200,000 to 300,000 people die every year because of fentanyl poisoning. So I think that most people would say, yes, that qualifies as a weapon of mass destruction. So what does that mean in practice? It is another way under the law that the government can go after fentanyl dealers and traffickers. So the DOJ can offer enhanced sentences and criminal charges. It also allows the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Treasury to go after relevant assets of those involved in supporting the fentanyl trade. And also according to the order, it also allows Homeland Security to identify fentanyl smuggling networks using weapons of mass destruction and non proliferation related threat intelligence. So John, another way that President Trump is trying to fix the border, this isn't specifically the border, but definitely a border related issue.
D
He's also trying to fix the narrative. We're really at war in America. It's not the same traditional war as World War II, but we're seeing casualties larger than World War II when it comes to fentanyl. Calling this a weapon of mass destruction I think informs the public that we are at war with enemies abroad and internally who poison and traffic this stuff around our country. So earlier today, while that press conference was going on and Amanda was working hard, I had a chance to sit down with a congresswoman from Texas, Beth Van Dyne. She's always really interesting. She's on the front lines of border, on the front lines of a lot of other important issues. We had a Great conversation. Take a watch. All right, folks, we're very lucky to kick off the show today with somebody who's on the front lines of all of the great history happening in Washington right now. She represents the great and very common sense state of Texas, Congresswoman Beth Bendine. Congresswoman, great to have you back on the show.
G
Great to be back. Thank you very much.
D
All right, so more and more, I think we're getting a chance to see some of the liberal policies, how they fall under the weight of their own construction. Obamacare seems to be next up. Americans now learning that Obamacare was fakely subsidized for a long time to make the insurance companies rich, not the American people. And now they're going to find out the difference in price. Is this a learning moment for the American public? And what is going to be the Republican response to the people can get past this moment?
G
Well, look, I think this is definitely a learning moment, but it's something that Republicans have been saying since the day that they had the vote. You know, Obama was claiming that you're going to get to keep your, your own doctor, you're going to have, you know, better health care plans and your premiums are going to go down. And the exact opposite happened. You know, you're stuck in this one size fits all. And all that happened was you saw increases in prices, decreases in quality and decrease in access. And this is continuing. And unfortunately, what they did under Covid was use that as another excuse to give more and more money to insurance companies, insurance companies that were experiencing 230% profits over what American people are feeling. I'm sorry, but, but as somebody who is part of that Obamacare program, it's terrible. And I don't think you're going to find one American who's going to say, oh, yes, please, let's keep doing what we've been doing the last 10, 15 years. It's actually gotten me better health care. It hasn't. What we need to do is actually focus on allowing people to have more choices, to have more competition in the workplace, to allow more opportunities for things like the associated health plans where you can actually gather people together and within the same risk portfolio and they can buy their own insurance and not have to go through an employer or through a big government. And I think when you start seeing those things, people are going to actually see their, their premiums decrease.
D
All right, Congressman, I want to talk about some of the things that are now being discussed among Republicans, really unique ideas like creating super HSAs where people can say Is there any appet for the government put a few, a few bucks into those funds to get them started, to encourage people to use them more wisely?
G
Oh, I think that's exactly what you're saying, is that there's a tremendous appetite to do something with health care other than what we have been doing, which has just been increasing costs. I think you're seeing people want to expand the HSAs and how much you can put into them, what you can use them for, make them more flexible. I've got a couple of bills in that would allow adult children to be able to put their adult parents on their insurance. So when you've got people who have just gotten laid off, you know, later in life or they've gotten divorced, you know, still have health care without having to rely on going on Medicaid, I think there's a tremendous appetite to do something. And I know that the, that the speaker has promised that for the first six months of this year, this coming year, we're going to be focused on health care. I was part of the health Care Task force in the 117th Congress. There's a tremendous number of ideas and it's actually exciting that we're going to have a Senate, hopefully that will pass it and a president that will sign it. But I think there's a lot that you can do that will make it more independent for people to be able to look at their own priorities and make it more competitive. And that's exactly what you need to get the government out of the way.
D
Yeah. And you brought that task force, had a lot of great ideas, and now they just need to hit paper and get it through the Congress because there's a good fix right around the corner. It just seems like it's right around the corner. I want to talk a little bit about the week's tragic weekend of tragedy. We saw a horrific anti Semitic terrorist attack in Australia where anti Semitism has been running rampant for months without any real address to it. A shooting on the Brown campus. Tell us a little bit about what we've learned thus far and where we get some of this hatred under control, because it does seem like we have a hatred problem and an intolerance problem in the world right now.
G
I think you're seeing is just a huge rise of anti Semitic and Islamists that are seemingly much more violent and much more prevalent. And we had an event that happened in my district a few years ago at one of our colleaguesville synagogues where we had somebody who came in from England and took. Took over the four members of the synagogue hostage and ended up with his death. You know, when he tried to come out, he was shot. But it was a terrible thing that happened. But I was sitting there under the Biden FBI when they wouldn't even call it what it was, which was anti Semitism. I think identifying what it is, calling it out and identifying it is with the first. The first step that we have to have. And you saw, I think you've seen Australia now their prime minister. I was very happy to see his comments yesterday, which were supportive of the Jewish people. Called it out for what it was. But we need to do that in the United States. I think the leaders that you have now are doing that and you've got a lot of Democrats who are fighting it. You know, they're talking about gun control. I think you look at Australia. Australia has some of the steepest, most strict gun rules, and yet they have a mass shooting. This is out of hate. This is not out of people having guns. In fact, I would argue that if you had more people had guns in Australia yesterday, you might have been able to prevent some of those additional shootings because people could have been able to protect themselves.
D
Yeah, we see too many. We see often here in America, a good guy or good gal with a gun stops a tragedy before it gets further along. So it does work. But today, obviously, Australia doubled down, so they want more gun control. I guess they haven't learned that lesson yet. It'll be interesting to see. I want to turn to the issue of corruption in government. We continue to get these extraordinary bombshell revelations from Cash Patel, Pam Bondi, Senator Grassley, Jim Jordan in the House. The latest, a long set of documents showing that the FBI had serious concerns that Hillary Clinton was using her foundation to do a pay to play scheme, trade decisions at the State Department for foreign donations. They had names of companies, names of foreigners. They had all the details. And then when it came time to escalate towards charges, the FBI leadership told them to shut it down. No, you can't go forward. Is one of the lines in the document the idea that the FBI would shut down a legitimate criminal investigation of that type of corruption. Love to get your reaction to it.
G
Look, this is reminiscent of exactly what they did with Hunter Biden and with Joe Biden when they were being investigated. I read, you know, I read the depositions where you had inside government officials who were whistleblowers who came to the table and he said, this is happening now. We were told we could not further investigate. We couldn't ask certain questions. We weren't able to get information that we needed documents, investigations were told to stop. We were taken off of cases. This is prevalent in the FBI. They have this deep interstate that is protecting folks like Clintons, folks like the Bidens. And I think what you're seeing under the Trump administration is they're saying enough is enough. We're going to expose it. So, you know, thanks B to Cash Patel, to Pam Bondi for looking at it and for what Jim Jordan and James Comey continue to do by asking these questions. And for my own chairman, Jason Smith, who's going after and asking these questions, we need to have more whistleblowers that feel safe that they can come out and tell us exactly what's happening within this deep state. But let's not ignore that it's happening and it's, this is just the tip of the iceberg. You're going to see more and more of these horrible examples of corruption come out as we investigate it further.
D
Yeah, that's so important. Getting the truth out is the beginning process of correcting it. Before we let you go, I was in Connecticut this past weekend. Gas was below $3 in one of the highest gas taxes states in the country. In many places it's below 275 or even 250 in some states. Now. The Trump energy revolution back in action. Texas a big part of that. How low can it go, you think?
G
Under $2 in Texas right now in many, many areas. This is what happens in policies that don't the energy industry and they start taking off the $1.8 trillion of additional regulations that the Biden administration put out. So we are focused on these deals that are looking at affordability, that are looking at decreasing costs, increasing wages, whether or not that's, you know, horrible trade policies that we've had with China that has just pushed our manufacturing off of our shores. We're going after new trade deals. When we're looking at regulatory, we're going after the regulatory market. When you look at the 20 million people that came over into our country illegally, that has a lot to do with increasing costs. When the government's paying for things like their health care, their education, their housing, taking them back to where they came from is step one. So we are doing these things now. Having a solid tax policy that is focused on incentivizing more manufacturing here, having jobs that are paying well, you're already seeing this pay off. The example of gas prices being low is one example. But you also look at the five months now Straight of rents being down, of mortgage rates being down, of, of. Of prices that people are paying going down, but also in the amount of wages are increasing. This is going to be a trend. This is going to continue. I think that is at the end of the day, what people are going to be looking at when they're looking at midterm votes is do we have more money in our pockets? Do we feel more safe in our, in our, in our backyards? Do we feel that around the world that we have a better regard and we are stronger? And I think that's exactly what you are seeing. Both Republicans in Congress are working with the Trump administration on doing and performing for the American people.
D
Yeah. It feels like there is an economic boom right around the corner. Do you feel that way and will that have a big impact on the 26 election?
G
I do. I mean, look, you're seeing, you're seeing trillions of dollars of investments, foreign investments being made into our country. You're seeing the increase in number of people who are being hired and the number of jobs. But these are for American jobs. And you know, under the Biden administration, we saw a bunch of foreign workers that were getting jobs here and American workers were getting kicked out. That is a reversal in that trend. So we're trying to get money in people's pockets, allowing more tax cuts, working for seniors, working folks are law enforcement and at the same time making sure that we are concentrating on increasing our economy and tax policies matter, regulatory policies matter. We're trying to shave both. I mean, I just got a bill passed this last week from our Small Business Administration saying that for every regulation that you've got to be able to detail exactly what the cost is and then make sure that you are decreasing any of these budget negative or budget neutral. Meaning that we're not going to keep adding additional regulate regulatory burdens on our small businesses. That's step one. I would love to see that in every agency.
D
Yeah, that is, that is a game changer. And that regulatory relief gives, gives a more consistent future. Businesses start to build up when they know exactly what the regulatory regime is going to look like. A smaller regime always yields a better economy. Congresswoman, always great to have you on the show. Lots of great common sense going through the Congress and yeah, we love all the work.
G
Thanks so much for if I don't see you before, I want you to have a very, very merry Christmas back.
D
To you as well. Merry Christmas to you and thank you for all you do for your country and your great state. Good to have you on? All right, folks, what a great conversation. Always enjoy having the congresswoman. All right. Up next, the FBI thwarted a terror plot that targeted Los Angeles. We'll discuss how law enforcement deals with threats with an FBI counterterrorism expert, as well as JTN's reporting on the FBI squashing the Clinton foundation probes. Help me just talk to the copy. Well have that and it'll be returning right after this quick break. Hey, America. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud on the rise called home title theft. And your equity is the target. Here's how it works. Criminals ford your signature on a single document, use a fake notary stamp and file it with the county. And just like that, boom, they're on record as owning your home using your ownership. They then take out loans against your record or even sell your property. And you're not going to know about it until you get a foreclosure or collection notice in the mail. And that's not going to be a good moment. That's why I partnered with Home Title Lock so you can protect your equity. Welcome back, everybody. Since President Trump took office earlier this year, the administration has been successfully cracking down on illegal immigration, illicit drugs and suspected terror attacks to keep our homeland safe. However, with the tragic shooting at Bondi beach and the alleged New Year's Eve bomb plot that was stopped, thankfully by the FBI in California, terrorism continues to be a very serious threat to us and our allies around the world. We also have some new deep state corruption reports to go over, too. So joining us now, he is a retired unit chief in the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Counterterrorism Division, Bassem Yousef, a treasure to our country. Thank you so much for being here, sir.
F
Thank you, Amanda. It's always good to see you.
E
And John, likewise, Basim. We were talking at the top of the show about the stonewalling with FBI agents from their superiors when they were trying to probe the Clinton Foundation. And I know that you know a thing or two about stonewalling and blackballing within that organization. Were you surprised to hear this timeline that came out of Senator Chuck Grassley's office?
F
Not at all. As a matter of fact, that when I heard the news that took me back to as far as 2009, 2010, with several events that took place.
D
Where.
F
You could, where you could see obviously, that FBI at the highest levels, you know, assistant directors, even the director himself, not just stonewalling, but actually throwing a wrench in the works to make sure that the investigation doesn't come to fruition. And I will be happy to discuss several of those examples with you. What I think is going on here that we are beginning to find out, the public is beginning to realize, is that the FBI was not Politicized just during Comey's regime or during the Biden administration. But it started, I believe, as far back as the then Director.
D
Mueller.
F
And how this actually came to be to sort of corrupt the FBI is that there has been a very, very aggressive effort to groom and recruit at the highest levels in the FBI. And to give you an example of that, if you think about McCabe, Andrew McCabe and the deputy Assistant Director, I can't think of his name now, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who I knew at the time and could sense that there is something amiss here with these folks. But they were definitely recruited. And the one thing they had in common is that they hated Donald Trump. And so this was not just a haphazard thing or a coincidence. This was an actual recruitment from within the ranks of the FBI at the highest level. One particular example that I think of specifically related to Andy McCabe, if you recall in September 11, 2012, when we had our ambassador in Benghazi killed and two contractors, CIA contractors killed, within a week we were having daily meetings at the highest levels, FBI, CIA, nsa, Diplomatic Security. And I represented the FBI at those meetings because of the communications analysis work that was done to attempt to identify who the leader was of this, of this terrorist attack. And I can tell you, John and Amanda, that within hours of the communications analysis that my team conducted, we had terrorist connections all over the place with the number that we actually nabbed from the satellites. And so our reports on a daily basis were coming out showing that, and not just ours, but NSAs and other agencies that were involved, that this was terrorism all over the place. The connections were with Al Qaeda, known Al Qaeda leaders all over the world. And so that was what we were reporting on a daily basis within a week, the very next morning, when I believe at that time, then Secretary Clinton as well as then President Obama gave a press release saying that at this point we don't know that this is terrorist related. We can't come to that conclusion yet. And that they alluded to the fact that this is related to the offense of the video of the prophet that was going on at the time that incited the Arab Spring in many countries. But we had other information. And so I remember on that day, that afternoon when Andy McCabe came in to join the meeting, he basically issued an order that we would instruct all our supervisory agents and analysts to cease and desist in making any mention in any reports that this is terrorist related.
D
Why?
F
Because obviously they were told at the NSC and at the White House that you can't say that this is terrorist related. So in other words, changing the narrative and changing the course of the investigation. That was one example. The same thing happened with John Brennan in 2010. There was a. We intercepted. The FBI intercepted a. I believe it was a FedEx, either a FedEx or a UPS package that came in from, from Yemen and it was supposedly filled with explosives. And I remember distinctly that what we found obviously through X ray before we opened it, that there is a printer cartridge that had some kind of Semtex, a white, powdery, Semtex type explosives. When it was brought to. When it was brought to the FBI laboratory, they determined that it was inert. John Brennan, who was then the advisor to then President Obama, in a press release. And I remember we were in my SCIF in my office at the time with everybody in my unit, were huddling over the TV to watch what the press release was about because we knew it was related to something that we were working on. And John Brennan used one twist of words. He said, we have discovered this package and we have rendered it inert, when in fact it was already inert. And to make it sound like there is some kind of a success for the Obama administration in the war. So all of this is not new.
E
I want to pause you. No, absolutely it's not new. And it's happened over and over and over again. And I know that you have more examples of this. So in light of that, would you stay over with us? We do have to go to a break, but can you stick around with us a little longer?
F
Absolutely, sure. Happy to.
E
Okay, great. All right, everybody, we're going to take a very quick break and we'll be back on the other side with Boston Musa.

Welcome back America. We're going to continue our conversation with retired FBI unit chief and whistleblower, good friend of mine, Bassem Yusuf Bassem. Good to have him still with us. You mentioned in that last plaque a gentleman who shows up all over These documents, Andy McCabe, he's the guy when he's Deputy Director, he says, you can't do anything with the Clinton foundation unless I approve it. And he keeps a thumb on that investigation. When you look back at these documents, 2010 was the first time they intercepted information suggesting foreigners were giving money to the foundation for favorable decisions by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And in 2018, they still the FBI still is unable to do the work it wants to do because of interference from DOJ and FBI leadership. Ever seen an instance like that in your career? Eight years where the criminal investigation agents are trying to get it done and they can't get that rock over the hill.
F
Again? Going back to the point of the politicization of the FBI and other agencies for that matter, John, that has been a pattern that was ongoing for years. I even think of the 2013 when the news came out that Edward Snowden who was a contractor at nsa, has uncovered this top secret program where the NSA is spying on Americans. When that, of course, happened, you can imagine the bells and whistles within the FBI, NSA and other agencies that were involved in the program. And actually my unit was the executive agent over that program. So within a very short period of time, there was a lot of pressure put on me to justify the program as a good program, to remain active to the point that when the Director of National Intelligence, the Director of NSA and the Director of the FBI were testifying on the Hill, trying to justify that this is a program that has thwarted many terrorist attacks. And the reality of it was that it wasn't. And so when, when they were asked point blank by lawmakers, can you tell us which terrorist attacks were, were thwarted? And of course, that comes back to me saying, we need to justify this. And they have already known, I'm talking about everybody in the FBI, from the Assistant Director on to the director, that I had always had an issue and that the program was not giving us the best bang for the buck. And so there was a lot of pressure on me to actually write the narrative to give them the responses. And of course I refused. And at the end of the day, they had to, you know, acknowledge that, okay, the program was not what it was supposed to be. So again, the politics gets involved in this to change the course of an investigation or a success of a particular program. And that's been going on for a long time. And I will say, just as a sidebar here with the attack that was thwarted just recently by the FBI, I can't tell you how proud I am of the men and women of the FBI, because the FBI has always done good work. Sadly, the fly in the ointment has been when politics gets involved in it.
E
Absolutely, Bassem. And to that end, and tying in the Los Angeles terror attack, that could have been. When you take resources away from foiling something like this and you put them towards politicizing things, blockading investigations like happened here, is it a zero sum game in that if you are focusing on thwarting investigations, then your focus is not on thwarting things like terror attacks?
F
Precisely. When, when you allocate resources away from what they are intended to do, obviously you're going to have failures.
E
And people die.
D
Really, really important, really remarkable. Real quickly, before we let you go, Bassem, there is a set of information in the Clinton documents that showed that they were concerned that the Uranium One deal, which allowed Russia to get American and Canadian uranium assets, was compromised. By pay to play. And they could never get it investigated. How troubling is that not to look into something of that big a deal? You're talking about a nuclear power, an enemy of the United States, Russia. They couldn't look at it.
F
Yeah, I think we've seen signs of that when then Director Comey insisted that this no reasonable United States attorney would look at the Clinton allegations when they were, when they were, you know, guilty of sin. And I will say that having been in the FBI for 26 and a half years and seen what the FBI can do, we have all the tools. We are a very capable organization with great men and women who work tirelessly to defend the American public. And so when you see that an investigation doesn't come to fruition, it's not because of the lack of resources or because of the lack of. Of talent. It's precisely because of the politics getting involved and actually blocking the investigation from going the way that it should.
D
You blew the whistle on the FBI and you made the FBI better because of it. Possum Yousef, it's such a great honor to have you again on the show. Thanks for joining us and thanks for giving us so many great insights.
F
Thank you, John. Thank you, Amanda.
D
Yeah. What a great guy. And what a. What an American hero. All right, folks, we're gonna take a quick commercial break. We got more Terry Shillings. We're talking a little bit about culture, politics. Rob Reiner next, right after these messages.

Max, run a business and not thinking about podcasting. Think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than ad supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only Iheart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you at iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-84-4, iHeart. One more time, call 844-844, iHeart and get podcasting. Working for you.

Welcome back, everybody. It is a big week here on Capitol Hill for protecting America's children. There's a flurry of child protection bills going on this week, including the Protect Childhood Innocence Act. But we have some Democrats, like California Governor Gavin Newsom, still digging in their heels around the trans issue. So why, when it's not popular? Joining us now, the president of the American Principles Project, Terry Schilling. Terry, great to have you here. Good to see you.
C
Thanks so much for having me. Amanda, you know that I love you and John so dearly, and I hope you guys are having a merry Christmas.
E
We are. And we love having you here. Feelings are mutual. I want to start with something a little off the beaten path of, of these, these pieces of legislation on Capitol Hill to protect children. So we've got the shooting at Bondi beach in Sydney, Australia. We have the shooting at Brown University. We have the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife. And their son has been charged. Yeah. Their son has been charged. And they, it seems like we as a culture, whether it's national or global, are moving in the direction of devaluing life. How on earth do we do an about face and move back in the other direction?
C
Oh, man. Well, that's a heady question. I appreciate you giving it to me. Look, Mother Teresa came to Washington, D.C. i think, about 30 years ago. She spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast. It's very bipartisan. Bill Clinton actually invited her, and she spent the whole time in her speech lecturing these politicians about America's policy on abortion. And she boiled it down to something I've never been able to get in my mind, which is that if a mother can kill her own child, then what's to stop anyone from me killing you? Right. And I think that, you know, there's a lot to that very basic statement, which is going home and loving your own children, I think, is where all this starts. I think so many kids today have been raised in broken homes. They've now become adults. They have very big issues. They're broken, they're hurting. And they feed it with the wrong things.
D
Right.
C
They feed it with drugs. They feed it with alcohol. They feed it with sex. They feed it with whatever is quickest and easiest in front of them. And I think that in America, we've really, really lost that. And so I think that at a bare minimum, we need to start getting back to church. We need to start getting Married, having kids again, prioritizing those families and we can begin to get out of that. But these shootings, these killings, it's not because of the guns, right? I mean, we saw Rob Reiner, it was knives. They can't get guns. They're going to get knives. If they can't get knives, they're going to get bombs. They're going to do whatever they can to kill people because that's what murderers do is they kill. We've got to get back to basics though, and start loving our family members and our neighbors and then grow from there because this is all just so tragic.
D
Yeah. Fighting, hate and intolerance is so important in this moment of our history. So I want to ask a little bit about an important piece of legislation, the Protect Childhood Innocence Act. It would ban children from being forced to go transitions while they're still in their formative years. Important piece of legislation, seems common sense, but a lot of resistance. Tell us its path.
C
Yeah, it's one of those things that you really would just think is a no brainer for any normal person. But then, then you remind yourself Congress is pretty abnormal. There's a lot of weirdos there at all levels of government, not just Congress. But look, it's a bill that would protect children from these gender transitions. Your listeners and viewers would know that this is a four and a half billion dollar industry, the Gender Transition Project that they call it. They make four and a half billion dollars and then they take those profits and they put into PR campaigns and lobbying a lot of this. Most of it's taxpayer funded, if you would believe it or not. But this bill is very simple. It bans the procedures for minors and it would do it nationwide, which is absolutely necessary. These doctors in California, they have no right to do these transition procedures. And sterilizing children in California versus the kids in Texas, whose state protects them. We need every child in America to be protected. And the Protecting Childhood Innocence act would go a long way to doing that and stopping these butchers that are ripping these kids apart.
E
Yeah, it's terrifying. And I can't for the life of me figure out why Democrats are not listening to their pollsters. I mean, even Gavin Newsom earlier this year was telling. I can't remember if it was Steve Bannon or the late Charlie Kirk that, you know, he was on the right side of the trans kids issue and now he's saying that, you know, there's no governor that's done more for pro trans legislation than I have. He's not reading the room why on earth are Democrats so dug in on this?
C
Well, look, I mean, I think that there's a lot of weird things once you cross into the political arena. If you do the polling on this. Normal Democrats, believe it or not, there are lots of normal Democrats around. 60% of Democrats are against giving kids these gender transition drugs.
D
Right?
C
60% of Democrats, they're pretty normal. But it's when you get into the political activism space where you stop caring about doing what's right. Instead, you care about the agenda of your party, the agenda of your movement that you're in. And unfortunately for the Democrats like Gavin Newsom, there is a strong, very vocal minority within the Democratic Party that has a lot of money, a lot of power, a lot of influence in the media, and it's the LGBT lobby. And they won't let anyone genuflect before any bit of sanity. They won't let anyone back away. And if they do, they're going to get a primary challenge. They're going to get tens and maybe even hundreds of millions of dollars spent against them. So it's a base problem for the Democratic Party. It's part of their activist base that's just become so radicalized.
D
A little breaking news. Just a few seconds ago, James Comer wrote a letter to Bill and Hillary Clinton saying, we understand you're refusing to testify. Here's your last dates. January 13, January 14, 2026. If you do not accept those dates, you will be moving towards contempt proceedings. A president and a former first lady, senator and secretary would be facing contempt charges from Congress. That just happened 30 seconds ago over@justinews.com all right, Terry, I want to finish up with a question that comes out of Australia. Everywhere in the Western world, we are seeing a dangerous and deep trend towards anti Semitism. But in Australia, the signs were there for months before the heinous attack this weekend. And yet it was not possible, it seems, for the leaders of Australia. They didn't seem to want to engage and knock it down before such a tragedy. What do we need to do to nip this cancer in the, in the bud?
C
Well, John, I want to. I'm going to answer that, but I just got to say, after that breaking news, I really hope, I mean, honestly, I really hope that Bill and Bill and Hillary ignore Comer and they break this because what's good for Steve Bannon is gonna be great for them. I mean, if anyone deserves to spend time in jail, it's them for sure. But look, again, the left is gonna try and say we need to Take everyone else's guns. We need to take more guns. We can't have guns. Guns, guns, guns. The reality is, John, is that these ideologies are being imported. They're not even coming up organically. It's not like it's being bred online, although there are some problems with the online stuff. But they're bringing these people in, people that hate their way of life, people that hate Western culture, that want to destroy it. Right. These ideologies are not peaceful. This is not a religion of peace. This is a religion that has done so many atrocities all across the world and it's atrocious. And now they're organizing in America. They're organizing all across the world on our university campuses and they're using these bits of generosity to give to people. They use the student visas to foment insurrection revolutions on our college campuses and violence and hatred. We've got to stop this stuff, revoke the visas, kick these people out. It's not compatible. These radicals are not compatible.
E
Yeah, we have wolves in our midst. Time to get them out. Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, thanks so much for joining us tonight. Merry Christmas.
C
Merry Christmas. Thank you, guys.
E
You're welcome. All right, everybody, next, could you be eating lead in your food? One study says that if you use protein powders or shakes, you might be taking in high amounts of lead and other toxic metals.
G
Oh, boy.
E
We're going to talk about that right after this break.

Welcome back everybody. A shocking story for you. Consumer Reports has released their report that tested protein powders and shakes and what they found is going to make you rethink using some of these products. Apparently, high levels of lead as well as other toxic heavy metals were present. So how big of a problem is this? Does it matter? Joining us now to discuss the director of product development at Native Path, Elijah macraine. Elijah, thanks so much for being with us.
H
My pleasure. Thanks for having me.
E
How does this happen? Because a company has to know that people who are using protein shakes and powders are trying to get healthier. And yet I would imagine these same companies know that lead consumption is not healthy.
H
Yes, that's very true. Unfortunately, it's more common than consumers obviously realize. That's why these reports are, you know, they're important because I don't think this is something that was anybody would have ever considered.
C
Really.
H
The issue is twofold. Well, actually we'll say threefold for our purposes. One is that I think people are consuming a lot more plant proteins. And so plant proteins, you know, heavy heavy metals are found in the soil and the water. Plants are grown in soil and use water. So they have actually a higher concentration of these heavy metals, for example, but whey protein, they do have less, but it can still be a risk. Whey protein comes from, comes from cows. However, it still kind of comes down to where sourcing. Like where are you sourcing that whey protein and then testing and that's, and that's kind of those, those two big kind of unknowns when a consumer picks something off the shelf.
D
Yeah. There is a very different approach at Native Path. I love that every step of the way. It's a product I use regularly. Talk about the quality control that Native Path does that some of these other powder companies weren't doing.
H
Yeah, sure. So probably the biggest thing kind of going back to sourcing is that there's different areas in the world that are higher risk. Right. So the more if you're, if you' getting. In our case, we'll use collagen as an example. Collagen comes from cows. Those cows need to be raised and fed. If you're doing getting those cows from like an industrial, you know, kind of like feedlot or kind of a factory farm, they're likely going to have higher amounts of lead or other heavy metals. In native paths case our cows are pasture raised and in parts of the world where they're just allowed to roam, so they're just in this more natural state. They're not consuming grain, they're eating, they're eating grass, what they're meant to do. So naturally they just have lower amounts of these heavy metals and other contaminants.
E
Okay. So let's say that we are consuming a lot of supplements that may or may not have the best quality control that may or may not have a lot of lead and other heavy metals in them. Is how bad is that? I mean, does that, does that. I assume it detrimentally affects our health, but is it noticeable?
F
Yeah. So.
H
Well, the interesting thing, so unfortunately heavy metals, they bioaccumulate in the body, meaning that you don't. It's very hard for the body to remove them. So you're with supplements, a lot of supplements, you take them every day. So you are. There is this kind of accumulation effect. So I think the biggest thing that consumers can do and in our case at Native Path, we provide testing data. We also test every single lot. So for example, a lot of companies may just test at the supplier level, you know, where the ingredient actually kind of comes in from or they may do it periodically. We test every single lot that comes out, meaning every batch that we make and we are transparent, we make it publicly available to our customers on request and we're working on making it even More transparent by allowing it, you know, when they purchase it, you can actually see the. The testing results. And I think. I think consumers just need to. These reports will allow for a little bit more education and then they can just make informed decisions about what they're comfortable with.
A
Yeah.
D
So important. All right, Elijah, I'm going to ask real quickly. I've been taking collagen for a while. I'm in my 50s, so that's the time when your joints get there. I've had really improved joint, low pain anymore, more mobility. I broke an arm and healed really quickly. That's experiential for me. But there's a real science behind collagen. Tell us a little bit about it.
H
Sure. So collagen actually is the most abundant protein in your body. It actually takes up over 30%. It's kind of what we call it. It's kind of the glue that holds you together.
C
Right.
H
So it's everything from the elasticity of your skin. So the way that you look to how you feel your joints, your tendons, your ligaments, the lining of your intestine, it's really. It's everywhere, so to speak. And as you age, you start to kind of, you know, it starts to break down. So in my mind, it's a foundational supplement because. And it's really that perfect definition of that. We're supplementing something that it's really hard to get from our diet nowadays, or at least at a consistent level.
E
Yeah, absolutely. Elijah Magrain, director of product development at Native Path, a company that we absolutely love. Thanks so much for being here.
H
Thank you. Appreciate it.

Well, I wish that was true, but I definitely feel 20 years younger, I'll tell you that. I don't know if I look at it, but I think it's not better.
E
Absolutely. All right, everybody, thanks so much for being with us tonight. We'll be back here tomorrow night at 6pm Eastern. Have a wonderful evening.
