Good evening, America. Happy Friday and welcome to the latest edition of JUST THE news. No noise. I'm your host John Solomon reporting to you as always from the Nation's capital, Washington, D.C. where tonight we're keeping a close eye on a potential development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. WCCO tv, the CBS affiliate in Minneapolis, is reporting that the Justice Department is now investigating Minnesota Governor Tim Walls and the mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Fry, for possible obstruction of law enforcement proceedings, that is those ICE raids. We don't have this independently confirmed yet, but the report is now out and about in Minnesota. We're keeping a close eye on it. If we get any developments or any confirmation, we'll come back to you over the course of the newscast. Meanwhile, we're going to take a look at something that was the big news in the world today. CIA Director John Radcliffe made a surprising visit to meet Venezuelan's acting President Delsey Rodriguez Thursday. They confirmed this this morning, in fact, Justin News got the very first photos of the CIA director meeting with the interim Venezuelan president. Now this visit opens a new era of relations after many frosty decades of years of relations between the two. But John Ratcliffe also delivered a blunt warning that the Latin American country can no longer consort with drug cartels or drug gangs like Trend Agua or America's adversaries like Iran or Cuba or China. Now, Justin News obtained three CIA photos of Radcliffe's visit with Rodriguez. Look at this one. You see the spy chief shaking hands. The Venezuelan president's wearing a very olive green, light green outfit. She's wearing sneakers, kind of unusual for a formal visit. And they shake hands because the Venezuelan leader reaches out with her left hand. Now, sometimes things are just organic, sometimes they're intentional. We don't know yet. We've been trying to figure that out. But the fact of the matter is the meeting occurred, it came just 12 days after President Trump authorized that mission that arrested and extradited former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, an avowed socialist enemy of the United States, to face drug trafficking charges. Here it is, a reboot. There's been about two hours of conversation that occurred in that time. There was talk about economic cooperation. There was some warmness. There was also some candor. As I mentioned, the real warning is about those drug cartels and those foreign enemies. They've got to be hands off in Venezuela, Director Ratcliffe told the leader if things are going to proceed forward positively with the United States. We'll talk more about this in just a minute with our first guest. But first I want to turn to Amanda Head for some other amazing headlines. A lot of other things going on today in the world.
Maria Corinne Machado
Yeah, John, there was something that caught my eye the middle of this week and it continues to make the rounds on social media. And if you missed it or if our audience missed it, I want to show you guys this. But I'm asking if you know how to or if you know how men can get pregnant. Apparently this is a topic of debate right now. It has not been settled in the medical community apparently because as the Supreme Court will be ruling on whether to uphold state bans of transgender athletes, AKA men participating in women's sports. So let's take a listen to what a board certified OB GYN and medical school professor Dr. Nisha Verma has to say to Senator Josh Hawley. When asked the same question during a congressional hearing Wednesday about chemical abortion drugs. She's asked if men can get pregnant. Take a listen to her answer.
Tommy Tuberville
You just said a moment ago that science and evidence should control, not politics. So let's just test that proposition. Can men get pregnant?
Maria Corinne Machado
I take care of people with many identities, but can men get pregnant? Many women that can get pregnant, I do take care of people that don't identify as women that can.
Tommy Tuberville
Can men get pregnant?
Maria Corinne Machado
People cannot get pregnant. Women get pregnant. Now, I don't know how she could keep a straight face with those answers. If I didn't know better, I would assume that this was an SNL skip. But unfortunately this drags on even longer as Senator Hawley keeps repeating himself over and over again just trying to get an answer. Take a listen again, as I'm saying.
Tommy Tuberville
Let me just, let me just remind you, you testified to a moment ago, science and evidence should control, not politics. So should can men get pregnant? You're a doctor. I agree.
Maria Corinne Machado
Science and evidence should guide medicine.
Tommy Tuberville
Do science and evidence tell us that men can get pregnant? Biological men, can they get pregnant?
Maria Corinne Machado
I also think yes, no questions like this are a political tool. Oh, yes, no questions are political. Can you imagine the kind of responses she gives her patients if they ask her if they should lose weight? As Senator Hawley rightly points out later in the video, there are serious consequences surrounding this discussion and it's depressing to see a medical expert struggle to provide a clear answer. And John, you know, it's not just that she's a medical expert and that she has patients under her care who are looking to her for advice. She's also a professor, so she's passing this idiocy onto her students.
John Solomon
Spoiler alert. Men cannot get pregnant. I can just tell you right now, it doesn't happen.
Maria Corinne Machado
So such a bold declaration, John.
John Solomon
Well, it's. It's scientifically and factually true. How about that has the benefit of that. Yeah. What an exchange. And it does kind of help us understand this Alice in Wonderland world that we sometimes find ourselves in, where reality and political ideology are completely divorced from each other. Well, where that can't ever happen is in foreign and national security policy. That's why the very big decisions on the desk of President Trump when it comes to Iran, Venezuela, they have enormous consequences for the future. And we've got one of the best security analysts in the country here to help us bring break it down at the start of the show today. She is Lexington Institute's vice president. She's a great friend of the show. We're always lucky when we get around. Dr. Rebecca Grant. Rebecca, great to have you back on the show. Thanks for joining us.
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Oh, glad to talk with you, as always.
John Solomon
All right. There is a lot of intrigue, palace intrigue in the photo. Why the left hand? Why the sneakers? But at the end of the day, it's hard to miss the point that that handshake that occurred Thursday in Venezuela and made public today was a pretty significant historic moment.
Dr. Rebecca Grant
This is a stunning photograph. And aside from the key lime pantsuit, it tells you two big things. One, the US Is in the driver's seat. And second, the US Is playing the long game by working with Delsey Rodriguez, which has been planned out for weeks. This tells you that a big goal here is to have stability as Venezuela prepares to make a transition to democracy. This is important for the oil companies that Trump wants to invest. They've got to have a stable business client. And that's why this really canny decision to go ahead and use Delsey Rodriguez. Sure, she's been associated with Maduro, with Chavez, etc. But the plan is that she can keep Venezuela together as changes begin.
John Solomon
And if I can interject just on the breaking news, we have the top of the show. I just talked to a senior U.S. official. They are confirming that both Governor Walts and Mayor Fry are being investigated for possible obstruction of justice for their conduct in encouraging the public to resist the ICE arrest. There, Todd, off the presses. That is a confirmed report now, not just in wcco. So sorry to interrupt. I want to get that news out. I promise we get it out quickly.
Maria Corinne Machado
Absolutely, yeah. I'm starting to regret my verdigris shade this morning when I saw those pictures of her. Not a great day for ladies in green. Rebecca, I want to ask you what the next process looks like for Venezuela. Obviously, there's going to be this interim government and then the Venezuelan people will have much more of a choice than they have had in quite a while when it comes to their country's leadership. It might be kind of rickety, though. What do you anticipate? Is it going to be a smooth road to democracy or whatever form of government they want?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Well, Maria Corinne Machado was at the Heritage Institute and talked about this being a transition to democracy, and I thought that really captured it just. Exactly. But short term, there are a bunch of things that are going to go on. One, we're going to continue to apprehend any oil tankers that are violating the sanctioned blockade. To quote DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, we just grabbed an oil tanker called the Veronica and the USS Gerald R. Ford Marines and sailors from our aircraft carrier helped participate in that. So it's pretty stunning. The next thing that we're going to see is, of course, continued pressure against the cartels. This really was a big driver to try to break up these cartels that have done so much in illegal migration, drug flows, etc. And then you got to break the power of the cartels in order to start turning Venezuela towards a more normal economy. But it is going to be quite a process. What I like here is President Trump's pre planning and his persistence in playing the long game.
John Solomon
Yeah, and that really is the key, is having a sort of strategic line. What is the American interest? The American interest is having a stable transition till you get to elections, getting the economy roaring in Venezuela so that the people feel more comfortable after years of deprivation and economic failure. What are the next big steps that we should be watching for? Is it. Are there some strikes that the military might make on trend agua or other cartels to test the Venezuela will let us eradicate them or do what other are some of the other options that could be on the president's menu right now?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Well, I think the military options are always on the table. We have that exquisite maritime surveillance, of course, that reaches over land as well. So if there's something like a return to the drug boats that we saw, then we will see more strikes. But I think we're going to be looking inside Venezuela, too. You know, in Venezuela, the schools are only open two days a week. There's malnutrition among the Kids, there's got to start to be a change there as well. I'm very encouraged to see that Director Ratcliffe felt good enough, secure enough in this policy choice to go to Venezuela. And I think if we continue to see more meetings and then investment by the oil companies, we've already got some Venezuelan oil coming to the U.S. that's in process. Will we see more, you know, oil executives going in there and starting to put some of the infrastructure investment into boosting Venezuela's oil production?
Maria Corinne Machado
I want to ask you about something that took place when Machado was here in the United States. She has had a lot of good things to say about President Trump. Very, very high regard for what he has done in speaking out for the people of Venezuela. And obviously, the most recent events, she gave him her Nobel Prize medal. Do you think that that infuriated the Nobel Peace Prize Committee?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Well, maybe. But look, it's hers to give. And she did that as a mark of gratitude for the actions by the United States, led by President Trump, masterminded by Secretary Rubio, with the intent to give Venezuela a chance at a new day and a new beginning, which is very important for US national security. Got to get China out of there. Got to push back on Russia. I don't want to hear any Iranian Hezbollah going on in Venezuela. But this was her gratitude for giving her country at least a chance to throw off the yoke of socialism. I loved it.
John Solomon
Yeah, it's pretty remarkable. I want to turn to another hotspot where there's a lot of intrigue and wondering what could be next. Iran. There are some indications that the protests have slowed down a little bit as the. The crackdown was so bloody the last few days. No yet no intervention by the United States government yet. A lot of menu options again for the president. Do you send the Kurds in and do some of this? Do you come in and attack with our own military hardware? What do you think we should be watching for over the next four or five days in Tehran?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Well, once again, forces poised and to link back to the aircraft carriers, we now have the USS Abraham Lincoln, another aircraft carrier transiting towards the Middle East. U.S. central Command has about 30,000 U.S. forces there now. We've got plenty of air power. They've carried out some anti ISIS strikes just in recent days. On the menu for President Trump is a huge range of options. We know he's going in very strong on the economic piece, but also there are military options, probably to strike missile production, space launch drone factories. Other targets that are key, moneymakers and key to the regime and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. Those options are there in case they are getting out of line and also as potential punishment for that regime that would put more pressure on it. So he continues to have a huge range of options that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kaine and others are giving him. We'll have to wait and see.
Maria Corinne Machado
Rebecca, before we let you go, I want to ask you about something that impacts the entire globe. But as Americans watch, they're watching the gas prices and they're interested in this. When it comes to Venezuela regaining control of those, those oil facilities, what does that mean for countries like Russia and other oil producing countries? Does that bring things down for them? Does that put Russia in a place where they oppose any type of new action in Venezuela? What does that look like?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Well, I have a pickup truck, so I watch those gas prices really closely, too. I think a key here is, you know, Russia has been using a lot of that shadow fleet smuggling, sometimes even the same ships. So they're on notice that their illegal oil transactions are being much more closely watched. The Venezuelan oil, a lot of technical factors. We may see more US refining. They do, of course, have the biggest oil reserves in the world. But what it really tells you right now is that Trump, through sanctions and through going after tankers, does have an ability to crack down on oil. We're already seeing some of that with Russia due to Ukraine. But, hey, who's behind all this? As always, China. China, China. They buy the oil. They were buying Venezuela' by Russia's oil. They remain the big problem in that oil market.
John Solomon
Yeah, you got that right. That's so important to keep in mind. Sometimes we forget all the different parts of where there's always one commonality, that's China. Before we let you go, there are some signs that the White House is going to escalate its efforts to get a Ukraine, Russia peace deal. Ukraine is losing a lot more land, lot more men. There's a lot of defections in the army. One option that's always been on the table, they call it the nuclear a sanction action, which is you go after the 300 billion that Vladimir Putin and his family have spread across the world and the names of oligarchs, you seize it, you take it. All of a sudden, Vladimir Putin's a poor guy. Is that an option that could move up the table soon as Ukraine's losses mount?
Dr. Rebecca Grant
Oh, I'd love to see that. But in practice, the Europeans really dig in their heels when it's about banking. There's about 200 billion in frozen Russian assets sitting in a bank in Belgium. It's still there. So it turns out to be a difficult lever to manipulate. But you're right, John. They've got to find something that will put pressure on Putin personally, whether that's attacks on energy, infrastructure or something else. That's what it's going to take to get us to a cease fire.
John Solomon
Yeah. Such an important set of steps ahead of us and probably going to determine a lot of the more recent history in the next few weeks. I think we're going to see a lot. As always, Rebecca, it's such a great honor to have you on the show. We always learn so much from you, always get straight answers which we, we really appreciate. Good to have you join us today.
Dr. Rebecca Grant
My pleasure. Thanks very much.
John Solomon
Yeah, thanks so much. All right, folks, we had a quick commercial break. First, let me just recap the news at the top of the show. Justin News now has confirmed that WCCO report, it is true that local TV station report that the Justice Department is investigating Governor Tim Walls of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Fry for obstructing ice operations in their city and state. It's pretty significant. DOJ investigating a sitting governor and a sitting mayor. All right, after the commercial break. We had a chance a couple days ago to speak to one of the most colorful members of the Senate, former basketball coach, now leading Republican candidate for Alabama Governor Tommy Tuberville. We talked about everything, including women's sports. We'll have that next right after these messages. Hey, America. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud on the rise called home title theft. And your equity is the target. Here's how it works. Criminals forge your signature on a single document, use a fake notary stamp and file it with the county. And just like that, boom, they're on record as owning your home, using your ownership. Welcome back everybody. The fight to protect women's sports in this country is far from over. It has now made its way, of course, to the Supreme Court, who heard arguments earlier this week about the constitutionality of banning men from women's sports. And there's been a lot of talk about it all here in Washington, D.C. including from Senator Tommy Tuberville, who spoke, spoke outside the Supreme Court at a rally. And let's just say he left absolutely no room for confusion about where he stands on the issue. Check it out.
Tommy Tuberville
They want to give the rights of women to a gender group. That is a fantasy. It's a fantasy. It's a dream. It's a thought. We are Christian people. We are a Christian nation. We go by male and female and that's it. If we ever get off of that path, it is over.
Maria Corinne Machado
And joining us now, the man who gave that impassioned speech in that video, Alabama senator and candidate for governor of Alabama, legendary Auburn football head coach Tommy Tuberville. Coach, thanks for being here, War Eagle. This is turning into the Auburn Coach show. I love it.
Tommy Tuberville
Well, hey, thanks for having me on in War Eagle, but that's the first time I've given my halftime voice at a rally. I wanted to get everybody fired up. You know, on the, on, on my right was a bunch of wackos, mentally ill people that are Democrats. And, and then of course, we had, I think we had them outnumbered. The people that really believe that this is absolutely insane. There's no fairness about this. And, and I wanted to make sure everybody knew where I stood because, you know, I've, for, for five years now, I've had three bills on the floor and I'm the only one that had a bill about men and women's sports. And I have not gotten one Democrat to vote for it in five years. And so it just shows you where they stand on this. And I know several of the Democrats, they don't believe in it, but hey, they fall in line and they follow the leader and they don't break stride. And they're going to vote however their leadership wants them to vote, and it's going to get us in trouble.
Maria Corinne Machado
I mean, it's strange credulity to think about someone who doesn't believe in something as biological and scientific and immutable as gender. But at any rate, I know you've probably heard some of the audio of the oral arguments. Does it sound to you like the Supremes are going to weigh in on the side of no men in girl sports?
Tommy Tuberville
Yeah, it kind of sounded like with, with especially the Republicans judges listening and having their, their thoughts put into the discussion that why are we here? You know, we got a lot of more important things to do here than worry about some kind of nonse. That is absolutely common sense. There shouldn't even be any talk about this, but I would imagine you'd get three votes out of the Democrats that's going to vote, you know, for men in women's sports. But I would hope that, you know, even some of the less conservative judges on the, on the Supreme Court would even vote for this because it's a no brainer. It's something that if we ever cross this line, it's not going to just affect sports, it's going to affect a lot of other things, possibly the military, possibly anything to do with the government. And you know, if we destroy the opportunity for women which was fought for for many, many years and we're going to have huge problems up here.
John Solomon
Great point, sir. I want to turn to the national security picture. Venezuela's regime has essentially fallen. We have a more friendly leader and the benefits of that, Iran trying to kill thousands to try to stop freedom loving Iranians from overthrowing the mullahs. The President is leaned in with his shoulder. What do you think the appetite on Capitol Hill is for a solution and what do you think the President might do over the next few days?
Tommy Tuberville
Well, first of all, we're getting ready to vote today on the War Powers Act. We've got a lot of people up here that think they need a say in what goes on when, when we're not fighting a war. You know, this was not, we didn't attack Venezuela. What we did is we went in and arrested a guy that had a subpoena on him and he'd been charged. And then we had Joe Biden himself even put $25 million bounty on him. And we went in and arrested the guy and brought him out and that was it. We're trying to help the Venezuelan people. We did not put boots on the ground. But we got a lot of chicken little Republican senators up here that voted with the Democrats on this nonsense. And they just think, hey, we've got to have this power. They love power up here. Hey, this guy got 77 million votes in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He's done a hell of a lot better job running this country in eight months than we've done in the last four years. So let him go. Let him get something done to save this world, not just this country.
Maria Corinne Machado
Important sir, with you unfortunately leaving the Senate, it seems like the ratio of, as you say, chicken little Republicans versus America for first Republicans that's going to shift a little. Are you concerned about this next class of Congress and how that can go for Republicans?
Tommy Tuberville
Yeah, it's even going to get worse. I can see it in our meetings and stuff. You've got seven or eight now that, that are just basically standing up to the president and doing anything they possibly can just go the opposite direction. I knew this and we all knew, most of us, if we didn't see this coming, we were out of our minds. And then after the midterms next year, it could possibly even get worse. It just depends on what happens in the House. Hopefully we can keep the Senate. Billions of dollars will be spent on races that, you know, that should be very easily won, but they're not. And so I worry about our country, but I'm feeling a lot better shape now than what we were last four years with President Trump at the helm. Because if we can't get anything, we've gotten one thing done here. We did the big beautiful bill because of President Trump. We're not, for some reason, not doing another reconciliation as we speak. We're going to waste it. Waste one. And then, of course, you know, everything that goes along with that. I mean, we're kind of a stalemate and we kind of look at each other going, what are we going to do? We've got to get more, we got to be better organized up here and get more things done for the American people because we have a short period of time left with this president and, and who knows what's going to happen.
John Solomon
The next round for the funding option ahead. It's probably going to have to be a clean CR with no attempts to really shrink or change the government.
Public Investing Sponsor
Right.
John Solomon
It's going to have to be clean to get it done.
Tommy Tuberville
Oh, it's going to have to be clean. And, but they're going, they're going to shut the government down if we don't, you know, we don't get some of these appropriation bills done. We've got three that we're trying to get done before we leave here at the end of this week.
John Solomon
Right.
Tommy Tuberville
Then we'll have three or four more when we get back in the last week. And that will basically fund 88% of the budget. And so there's no really no reason to try to shut it down at that time. So that's the reason we want to do appropriation bills, do it the right way, let the American people know what's in it, and I think we'll be off and running. But I tell you, it is Hard to get anything done up here because the people on the left, the Democrats, they're not going to do anything to help this country. And we've even got some people on the right that have a lot of doubt in their minds whether they want to help President Trump any whatsoever.
Maria Corinne Machado
Absolutely. Senator, before we let you go, I know you are traversing the state of Alabama, state that you know so well, talking to people. You're a governor, governorship, campaign. What's the most important thing that you are hearing from voters?
Tommy Tuberville
Well, right now, what I hear when I go back is we voted for President Trump. Weren't people going to jail? I mean, because with the fraud has been rampant, people have been, I mean, the corruption is just unbelievable. From the Clintons all the way through the Obamas, through the doj, through the CIA, FBI, all the things that were done to Republicans over the years, irs, you know, they're going after all the, the people that had non tax status. It's just unbelievable. But nobody's been arrested yet. Nobody. You know, there's been just a few people that have been pushed at it and where both of y', all, I've listened to y' all for years about the corruption out there from Fauci and everybody else, but people are sick of this. They're sick and tired of nothing getting done. And if we don't get something done, I don't know what's going to happen in the future. You're gonna have a lot of people say, listen, I'm not paying any more taxes. The heck with this. I'm out of this deal. Y' all want to, y' all want to pay for your own stuff, that's fine. But I'm not going to pay for nonsense. It's not going. If you're not going to go after people that have stolen from the American people for the last, you know, 15.
John Solomon
20 years, it's just amazing.
Maria Corinne Machado
I'm with you. I hear it more and more from folks. And that is a scary place to be when the government is spending just willy nilly. Absolutely. Alabama senator and gubernatorial candidate Coach Tommy Tuberville. Thanks so much for being with us, Coach.
Tommy Tuberville
Thank you.
Maria Corinne Machado

Welcome back America. The hotspots across the globe are many, right? We talk about Greenland. Who thought we'd be talking about that? Venezuela, Iran, China, Russia, Ukraine. Gosh, I sound like Billy Joel's who Started the Fire song. But at the end of the day, there is a strategy and it puts America first in the security policy and when it decides the American interest now under President Trump, then the plans flow from it. We want to bring in someone who's done a lot of planning and a lot of advising to Republican presidential candidates and many members of Congress for a long time, as well as the FBI and many others. He he is truly one of the strongest experts when it comes to foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East. He's author of one of my favorite books in Iran. It's called an Imperilous republic in US policy. He's also co Secretary General of the Transatlantic Parliamentary Group. He's our good friend, Dr. Walid Ferris. Dr. Farris, good to have you back on the show, my friend.
Dr. Walid Farris
Thank you so much for having me, both of you. It's wonderful to be back.
John Solomon
It is great to have you. All right, I want to start with the one that could have the greatest consequence to the world. Where is the state? What is the state on the ground in Iran now? Are the mullahs in jeopardy of falling and what could come next?
Dr. Walid Farris
It's a very tight, complex, difficult situation and the calls here in Washington are very high and important. So this is a confrontation that we were not ready for. It did happen because of the push by the Iranian population that had enough with that regime. I mean, the long story started at the end of the 12 day war between Israel, Israel and the Islamic regime in Iran, whereby when Israel was about to hit hard, the militias that are in control of the streets in Iran, there was a last minute initiative led by Qatar that said, okay, if we have a ceasefire, meaning if we have Israel to stop the bombing of these militias, we can offer a project to the President that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, for six months, the regime, instead of writing an offer, instead of advancing, what they've done was to buy more weapons, buy more missiles, buy more counter missiles, so on and so forth. So this basically unnerved Israel, which got ready for a strike on Iran or on the regime, but more importantly the regime, the minute they got a ceasefire, what did they do? They arrested thousands and thousands of Iranians. That's the beginning, that's the genesis. And tortured and executed a few, which prompted the population, the Iranian population over the past few weeks to rise. That's it. They have reached a level they're not going to accept that regime. And that prompted the regime to do what everybody does know right now, which is kill 12,000 Iranians. That's the scenario. So in reaction to this, the President said, we're going to stop or I will hit. Either the regime stopped the killing or there will be sanctions, military sanctions actually against the regime. That's where the situation is right now. But the regime has promised that they will not execute more people. It's like hostage taking if we stop attacking, if the United States and Israel stop attacking. And what did they do again yesterday, the day before? They are now occupying Iran's capital, Tehran. They're sending the tanks, they are arresting people. So we go back to the same cycle, you give them a chance, they'll abuse it, and they go back against the population.
Maria Corinne Machado
Dr. Faris, you mentioned the arrests and imprisonments and executions. There seems to be some major discrepancies when it comes to those who are still imprisoned. I've heard figures everywhere, from 4,000 to over 20,000. Do you know what that number is? And also, how much longer can the mullahs hold on with all of this pressure, the pressure economically with the currency being devalued, the sanctions, pressure from outside countries, pressure from their own people. How much longer can they hold on?
Dr. Walid Farris
Let me treat first the first aspect of numbers. Now we are in touch with NGOs, international NGOs, and local NGOs. What they have said, and I have followed this from this little screen that you can see that they were able to determine or to see about 4,000 to 6,000 bodies, dead bodies. It's online, it's on social media and elsewhere. They are in morgues, they are in hospitals. So the first number that was advanced between 4,000 to 6,000 was the number of bodies of cadavers that we've seen. But then NGOs inside Iran have revealed that the real numbers have gone up to 12,000. So that seems to be the credible number. Beyond that, of course, people are putting it up to 15, 16, 18. And God knows, I cannot make a determination because everything is shut down inside Iran, including the Internet, including a lot of other means that the Iranians used to acquire to get the information out. But this is big. In two days, three days, 12,000 people killed. That is the number that Jews were killed in World War II during two or three days in concentration camps. So it's cataclysmic. That's why the challenge in Washington and in other capitals is that what can we do after 12,000 people were murdered, 15 to 20,000 people are in jail. So it seems it's very difficult to go back to square one and say, well, we're going to sit down with the regime and find some new deal. A deal is very difficult. And I'll explain why. Still in 30 seconds, this population, that is shell shock. Now, once they finish the processes of burial and what have you, they have those traditions. They're not going to accept the situation even if we attack or if we don't attack US or Israel, this is a population that is going to oppose and resist. They'll throw cocktail Molotovs on the patrols by the regime. So the choices are this, either the United States and Israel will hit the two militias that are in control of the population and Allow a massive change. We won't have to commit any troops on the ground. The opposition will do it or we refrain and Iran will descend in the path of Syria for 10 years.
John Solomon
Wow, those are pretty significant polar choices. What are the role that the Kurds, which have their own militia sort of forces. Could you see other outside side parties also joining some effort to destabilize and overthrow the mullahs? And would they be hard to overthrow?
Dr. Walid Farris
Very hard to overthrow. But they are weaker than ever before. Remember, Israel has destroyed a large segment of their anti aircraft fleet. They have eliminated a lot of the commanders of the irgc. So the Israeli war against that regime has already sliced a lot of their capabilities. And, and let's all remember that President Trump given the order to our super force, eliminated the entire nuclear program that they have in three hours. So they have nothing to negotiate. When people say in the media or analysts, well we're going to go back to negotiate the Iran deal or the nuclear. Nuclear. What? There is no more nuclear anything for the next five years at least. And second, and that is very important, the population now is more determined than ever. Much larger segments of the population are rising. There are elements of the old army called Artets that are actually, they were the ones organizing the neighborhoods to uprise. It was much better organized and also an important matter. I think the president should also take a look at that. The equivalent of Wall street in Iran, the one that deals with money and deals about money, that is called the bazaar, has shifted. So now the regime is only sitting on two militias. These are the two pillars. So from a cold perspective, the advantage of changing that regime will be enormous. You're going to have an ally of 90 million people equivalent to Israel times 10. You're going to have a control over the energy situation in the world. If that change occurs, there will be our allies and they will enter the Abraham Accord. Actually they have a name for, for their accord as a Cyrus accord.
Tommy Tuberville
So.
Dr. Walid Farris
Yeah, in my strategic view, pushing the issue in Iran will be the advantage of peace of Israel, of the Iranian people and of the United States.
Maria Corinne Machado
Dr. Faris, a curveball before we let you go. President Trump is eyeing Greenland as the 51st state. What say you?
Dr. Walid Farris
I say, look, they're gonna be doing bravado with the Europeans and they're gonna come and at the end of the day they're gonna negotiate. There cannot be a R in the US and the west for strategic reasons. But I came up with an idea as an ex lawyer. We can lease it actually for 100 years like was the case with the Suez Canal and the Panama Canal. What the US Needs really is a presence, a military presence and the resources. What Denmark and other countries want is to preserve their face and say, well, the sovereignty is still ours, but we can share the sovereignty with a lease. I don't know what the president will think about it or the Europeans, but that's a proposal I wanted to throw through your program.
John Solomon
We love it. Every time you come on, we get big ideas, Wally. That's why we bring on the show. It's a really good idea. I bet you we'll create some buzz with that. Great to have you on the show as always. We're going to need you close by over these next few weeks. I think a really extraordinary amount of history about to unfold. But Dr. Farris, thanks for joining us.
Dr. Walid Farris
Thank you both them of you.
John Solomon
Yeah. What a great, what a great interview. Always a little more on the Minnesota before we go to commercial break. U.S. officials telling me they expect that it's possible grand jury subpoenas will be issued soon to Governor Waltz, Jacob Fry and maybe other Democrats in the state suggesting that maybe. This is getting pretty serious pretty quickly. We'll keep you covered. Next we're going to talk a little bit about that food pyramid. It got flipped upside down by our and President Trump historic change in nutrition guidelines for Americans. We're going to tell you what that means for you and me right after these messages.

Welcome back everybody. The start of the new year probably already includes some big changes to yours. My all of our diets. And it's not just from our New Year's resolutions. We now have a new food pyramid that does a much better job at letting us know what is healthy and what is not. And we can thank HHS Secretary Kennedy and President Trump for that. So joining us now to discuss more about it, the Director of Product Development at Main Native Path, Elijah Migraine. Elijah, great to have you here. Happy New Year. What do you think about this new food pyramid? Literally flipped upside down, but it seems like it is a very, very new direction for health in this country.
Elijah Magrain
Yes, yes it is. And thanks for having me. So as you said, it's literally flipped upside down that old pyramid from over 20 years ago. So it's now on its inverse. And yeah, the old model, which really emphasized grains and just a little bit of fat, now it's literally the opposite. So the new models promoting protein, full fat, dairy and healthy, healthy fats and veggies, those are kind of the mainstays. And I think this is right now, about 70% of Americans are overweight and have some form of chronic disease and most of that can be linked to diet. So I think this is very timely.
John Solomon
The decades of the processed food era left us with a lot of ailments. Incredible. Autoimmune disease spread. We see a lot of inflammation in joints and brittle bones, damaged livers from the sugar. One of the things that has become more in vogue in the in the last few months, the last few years as this food pair was about to flip, was a need to focus on collagen to get back and replenish the most plentiful protein in our body. Tell us what happens when someone leans in for a little bit and starts supplementing, particularly at my age in the 50s, with collagen.
Tommy Tuberville
Sure.
Elijah Magrain
And this ties in perfectly to what we kind of talked about, kind of old fashioned cooking. Because people used to consume collagen a lot more frequently, but now because we are having processed, processed foods, people are less likely to do so. So, I mean, collagen takes up, is remarkably abundant in your body. It's about 30% of your total of your total protein in your body is made up of collagen. So we need it from everything from it's kind of the structural lining or the scaffolding of our body. So everything from our bones, joints, tendons, the lining in our gut.
Tommy Tuberville
Gut.
Elijah Magrain
And it also has even. We're now finding a lot of other benefits, just even how it's making specific things for our immune system. And as we're kind of. The research continues, we're finding that it's almost considered a foundational supplement, just how we thought a multivitamin was 20 years ago. The consensus is starting to shift that something like collagen, which comes from whole animals, it's not synthesized in a laboratory, is considered almost a necessary component of our diet.
Maria Corinne Machado
Incredible. So if someone starts taking collagen, and we love yours, it's a powder form, it's very easy. I mix it in my coffee every morning. It seamlessly fits into my routine. But when someone starts using collagen, do they notice it in muscle recovery after workouts? Do they notice it in injuries? What are some of the most glaring improvements people will find?
Tommy Tuberville
Yeah.
Elijah Magrain
Actually from our customer testimonials, the thing that most of our customers say that they notice first is actually their hair and nails. Because, you know, hair and nails grow quickly. Collagen supports, you know, the health of actually hair, skin and nails. So that's usually one of the first thing that our customers notice is that their hair, their hair seems more illustrious, shiny their nails, they're not breaking or brittle, they seem healthier. And so that's usually kind of the first thing. Long term though, we even everything from. Of just some joint pain where people thought that they were kind of achy, that seems to be alleviated over time as well as even just feeling fuller more quickly because collagen is a protein and we know that if we consume protein, it helps our satiety or helps us feel full. So there's just kind of this wide array of benefits. They're just all over the map.
Maria Corinne Machado
Yeah. Incredible. Elijah Magrain, director of Product Development at Native Path, we love your products. Thanks so much for being with us with us tonight.

Welcome back, everybody. President Trump has made great strides on the climate agenda and his latest move, pulling out of the 1992 UN climate treaty. Well, it's drawing praise from our next guest. Joining us now is Climate Depot publisher and former senior staff at the U.S. senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Mark Morano. Mark, great to see you. I believe this treaty had near universal membership. I think it was 198 parties. We are the first and only to pull out of it. How is this America First?
Mark Morano
This is true. It is phenomenally. America first. As George Costanza said on Seinfeld, I'm.
John Solomon
Out, baby, I'm out.
Mark Morano
We're out. We are the first nation to pull out of this. And just to give you an idea of how bad this was, this was, was May of 1992. George H.W. bush was floundering, I guess, in the polls, worried about his reelection, which he ultimately lost to Bill Clinton. And he decided they thought it was a great idea to go down to Rio and get the United States into this mess so he would appear more green. And how did that work out for you? President Bush? He of course ended up losing that election. Senate ratified this treaty he signed this. This got us in what was called the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Change, which then got us into annual UN Climate summits. It got us into the Paris Accords, it got us into Copenhagen. It got us into the Net zero. It got us into all these other spiraling things like Agenda 21, sustainable development. It got us into the UN Green Climate Fund. It turned everything that was the opposite of America First. Using another Seinfeld analogy, it was bizarro World for America First. This entire tree treaty, it was the foundation for everything. And by Donald Trump pulling out of this treaty, by the way, I went down to COP30 in Brazil and I looked in the camera and Donald Trump retweeted my segment on cable news where I said, Mr. President, tear up this Rio Earth Summit Treaty. And less than 60 days later, he did it. Now, I'm not taking all the credit now, I don't know, he's probably planning on doing it, but it is phenomenal because it's the bottom foundation of the entire edifice of the house of cards that is the UN climate agenda.
John Solomon
Yeah. And trillions of dollars have been burned underneath its name without really any improvement. Where does the environmental movement reboot the common sense one? The one that just focuses on clean air, clean water, nice places to go and visit. It seems like a common sense dial can be turned and Republicans can take over the environment environmental movement with something that's a lot more popular than climate fear.
Mark Morano
Yes. In fact, you know, I had interviewed a scientist, a left wing scientist who bailed out of the global warming movement a Decade ago named Dr. Dennis Rancourt. He actually said global warming has hijacked the environmental movement from the left wing environmentalists. I mean, so what happened was the money, the time, the attention. Instead of worrying about, you know, East Palestine oil spills or lead in drinking water or a toxic waste cleanup, and pushing for government action, which I think you can get bipartisan support for. They started worrying about polar bears, trace, trace essential gas in the atmosphere, concentrations of that. They were worried about sea level rise and, you know, in Pacific islands. It became an absurd parody of what the environmental movement used to be 50 years ago that was actually worried. And you go back to the first Earth Day, a lot of wackiness and craziness, but at the same time, that brought out middle America for cleaner air, cleaner water. And by the way, the response was amazing. In the last 60 years, nearly 60 years, we've had radical improvements, air, water quality. At the same time, massive economic growth, increase in population. It shows you that technology and being aware of the problem can solve it. And now even the mainstream media admits we've largely solved the problem of air quality as America is one of the among the cleanest air quality in the world according to the World Health Organization. So I think we go back, back to that sensible policy and I think what the left is going to do. We're already seeing this with Davos coming up next week. They want to merge climate change into a public health issue. And the idea here is added to death certificate as a. I'm sorry, add it as, add it as a cause of death and death certificate. Have doctors diagnose you with it. We've already had the first medically diagnosed case in Canada and now you have doctors have climate toolkits, American Cancer Society fretting over the carbon footprint footprint of cancer care. You have hospitals going net zero. You have them worried about that scrubbing time for surgeons because they want to conserve water. All of this nonsense they wanted. The idea is unchecked viruses lead to more unchecked climate change leads to more viruses. So this is one of the reasons the World Health Organization declared climate an existential threat of the 21st century.
Maria Corinne Machado
I love it. Love getting your take on all of this.
