Good evening America and welcome to the Thursday edition of Just the News. No noise. I'm your host John Solomon reporting to you as always from the nation's capital here in Washington D.C. while we're in D.C. all our eyes are on Minnesota where a second day of protests are underway. Snowballs, other items being thrown at ICE agents. A lot of hostilities, but thus far mostly peaceful protests. Beyond those activities, the big issue today, it occurred here at Just the News. It was the FBI Director Kash Patel telling the Just the News exclusively that he will be and is investigating the organizers and the funders. Not just the participants, but those who organize and give logistical support and those who give their money to these. Anti immigration enforcement protests in Minneapolis are being investigated for obstruction, injustice. In other words, they're impeding law enforcement activities and, and endangering public safety. That means if you pull a car in front of a ICE agent to stop them from arresting someone, you've engaged in obstruction. The person who rented that car might have engaged obstruction. The people who organized and sent you to that location could be charged. This is the first time in 39 years of covering the FBI that an FBI boss has ever made such a promise to investigate the organizers and funders of protests for obstruction of justice. It's a big deal. It happened just a few minutes after we broke another story. A few hours after we broke another story involving how much Chinese state run propaganda outlets and their friends in America are behind these left wing protests. Those protests started with Venezuelan dictator Maduro's arrest and continued with the Minnesota story. We have enemies, foreign and domestic that are collaborating together and, and cash. Patel today promised to get to the bottom. Now let me stay in Minnesota for a second. The Trump administration is continuing to respond to the explosive allegations around the Somali fraud scandal. And every day we learn a little bit more. As you know, yesterday the $700 million that we said went on the Minneapolis airport. Today, President Trump responded to that. What did he say? He said we're going to arrest them all. Anyone who brought money out of the country that was stolen will be brought to justice. And Finally, Vice President J.T. vance announced a new way. The administration and the Department of Justice will be handling the concerns around massive welfare fraud in Minnesota, California and other blue states. Announcing that the Justice Department has created a new position, an Assistant Attorney General for fighting fraud. It's the first time that's ever happened in American history. Big, big impact from the things we talk about in the show, from the things we report. Every day on justthenews.com and with that, let me bring in my amazing co host Amanda Head, who's always at the White House next getting us big news. Amanda, all eyes in Minnesota, but I think a lot of the action today was in Washington.
A
Indeed it was. It was in the briefing room where the vice president was and sticking on the Somali fraud situation in Minnesota. He had a few words to say about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and his potential role in the scandal. You'll want to listen to this because the vice president does not mince words at all. He really didn't throughout the entire briefing. Check it out.
C
I think Tim Walsh should resign because it's very clear either that he knew about the fraud in Minneapolis, he knew about the welfare fraud, or at the very least he looked the other way. I mean, this is not.
D
This is.
C
Not like Lex Luthor, right? This is not movie villain fraud. This is the lowest IQ possible fraud. This is we're going to take kids or, sorry, we're going to take the absence of kids and set up a daycare center where there are no children. And we're going to call our early childhood education center the Quality Leering Center.
A
And you can't hear it in the clip, but there was a bit of a chuckle in the room when he called it low IQ fraud. And look, if you can't spell correctly, maybe you are in the wrong business. Now, there are some serious things that the investigation into this fraud needs to look into, especially with those at the top of Minnesota's politics. And we have more from the vice president because he was on a tear today. He also discussed the narrative surrounding the ICE shooting in Minneapolis. And it looks like liberal media headlines are taking a stance against Kristi Noem and the Trump administration on this incident. For example, circumstances. CNN published this headline, outrage After ICE Officer Kills US Citizen in Minneapolis. Here is what the vice president had to say specifically about that headline.
C
The way that the media by and large has reported this story has been an absolute disgrace and it puts our law enforcement officers at risk every single day. What that headline leaves out is the fact that that very often ICE officer nearly had his life ended, dragged by a car six months ago, 33 stitches in his leg. So you think maybe he's a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile. What that headline leaves out is that that woman was there to interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation in the United States of America. What that headline leaves out is that that woman has is part of a broader left wing network to attack, to dox, to assault, and to make it impossible for our ICE officers to do their job.
A
Vance was, I mean, his tone today was, was quite pointed. He is not taking this narrative lightly at all. And he seems to really be fired up about it. ICE agents are trying to make our streets safe while the left constantly tries to sabotage their efforts. And the media's narrative surrounding this does not help the situation in Minneapolis. And John, before the vice president left, he closed and said, look, the president and I are trying to lower the temperature. But when you have Democrats out there who continue saying things like Governor Walz is saying, like Mayor Fry, the things that they are saying, like Jimmy Kimmel last night on his own TV show saying that Trump is ordering ICE to kill people in the streets. And then he held up a T shirt that said, donald Trump is going to kill you or Donald Trump is trying to kill you. That is what inflames this type of garbage.
B
Stuff that shouldn't be broadcast over our. I'm all for free speech, but that doesn't belong over the public airways when it's just simply not that true, not opinion. That is inflammatory misinformation. You said JD Vance takes it seriously and you can really tell that in the voice. He was really upset about it. Another guy takes it seriously, the chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations in the US Senate, Senator Ron Johnson. We had a chance to speak to him earlier today. Take a watch. A lot of news in this. All right, joining us now, somebody who called this entire Democratic system, from the illegal immigration to the sanctuary cities to the welfare benefits to the welfare fraud and then the money leaving the country. He represents the great state of Wisconsin. He also oversees the most powerful investigative body in the U.S. senate. He is Senator Ron Johnson. Senator, great to have you back on the show.
E
Well, John, hello, Amanda. Happy New Year.
B
Happy New Year. And what a, what a, what a start to the year. I think Minneapolis, in this episode yesterday, feels like the culmination of all the things that Democrats did to the system the last 10 years. Your top line thoughts about what Waltz created in Minnesota and what played out yesterday with the shooting involving that ICE agent when he was hit by a car.
E
Well, first of all, that is a tragedy that never should have happened. Like so many of these murders and rapes perpetrated by illegal immigrants, that shouldn't have happened. We never should have opened the borders. We never should have created this enormous mess that now President Trump is trying to clean up. It's not easy to do, but at a minimum It'd be nice if Democrats and the leftists would just stand back and let Trump clean up the mess. But no, they're inciting their supporters to go out and obstruct lawful enforcement actions. And the result of that incitement, of that encouragement of obstruction, a woman lost her life. And now I'm sure an ICE agent will be going through hell as well, just trying to protect himself. So, again, I hate to be enraged by something like this, but it's enraging. Again, the loss of life is tragic. I feel sorry for her and her family, but I feel sorry for the ICE agent who's gonna have to deal with consequences of just trying to defend himself as well. So, again, it should not have happened. It never should have happened.
B
We heard the rhetoric coming from the Democrats in the last few days that this man is a murderer, this ICE agent who was about to be hit by a car when he discharged his weapon. Your thoughts on the possibility that Minnesota may try to prosecute a federal agent for doing his job?
E
I think the law is pretty clear cut. They can't, and so I don't think that will happen. But again, this is just further incitement, isn't it? Again, the reason these agents are pretty hair trigger is because vehicles have been used to ram ICE agents. ICE agents have been shot at. ICE agents have been doxed, they've been threatened. They have to wear a face cover so that they're protected and their families are protected as well. So, again, the left is assaulting and harassing and endangering ICE law enforcement officials. So, yeah, I mean, they're trying to do their job. They're trying to make these communities safer, including Minneapolis. And all they're getting is, again, resistance and obstruction from the left and results in these kind of tragedies. And they're not backing down, they're just furthering and ramping up the incitement.
B
I want to ask about the obligation that our Justice Department under Donald Trump has. These protests have been going on for a decade. There are two areas that I wonder whether there could be prosecution. Today, Cash Patel told Just the News he has authorized an investigation of the funders and organizers of the current protests in Minneapolis for obstructing justice by blocking the ICE agents. But previously, and even just last night, we heard the Homeland Security secretary say there's 640 people in Governor Waltz's possession for which there are lawful warrants to be arrested and he won't turn them over because of his sanctuary city policies. Should we prosecute a governor for obstruction of justice because he won't turn over people who lawfully should be arrested. He's harboring them.
E
I'm not a lawyer, not a prosecutor, so don't understand the laws as it relates to, you know, what you can do. It'd be nice to be able to do it again. This is outrageous. I mean a woman died because of that leftist attitude, because of what they did, opening up the borders, creating the mess. I mean again, that is why that woman is dead. Okay? It's not because of ice. It's not because of law enforcement officials. It's the conditions set up that forced us to enforce a lot. To send ICE in there to start rounding up these criminals that endanger public safety now. I mean the left is responsible for all of this.
A
Senator, I spoke to a couple last year during the campaign and this couple did not know that Donald Trump, they didn't know the truth of what Donald Trump said in Charlottesville. This is years later after that happened. I am very concerned that there are people out there who will not watch the videos. They won't see the multiple angles that show that this was self defense. And what Democrats are saying, you killed a mother, you orphaned a child. They are going to carry this all the way into the midterms. How do Republicans fight that messaging?
E
By telling the truth, pushing back as best we can, coming on news outlets like yours that convey the truth.
B
Hopefully we break through.
E
You know, hopefully. The alternate media now is growing in size to eventually outsize the lane street media which really is falling in real disrepute. I mean it is dying on the vine. It can't die quickly enough as far as I'm concerned.
A
Governor Tim Walz has. He's not going to be running. Do you think that that would have happened if this had taken place? If what we are talking about right now had, had taken place last week and had drowned out all of the information about the fraud, do you think he would have sat down?
E
I think he was under such tremendous pressure. I mean the fraud is so egregious. The complicity of people like Governor Walz and people that work under him. You know, go read the office of letter of Legislative Auditor inspection March of 2019. They laid it all out. The lead inspector said that they thought there's probably about 50% of the $217 million spent for this particular program on child care was fraudulent. So this was well known for years. And yet Governor Walz and under his direction other officials in Minnesota just looked the other way. I don't was it strictly for the politics of it, making sure the Somali population voted in block for Democrats. That's certainly part of it. But no, they need to be held accountable. I think there is a real possibility of some of those officials being held criminally culpable because they have a, they've got a duty. I don't see where. I'm not sure where it all goes, but I met with one of the Minnesota legislators just this afternoon. There's a lot more information, I think that's going to come out.
B
Yeah, there's no doubt about it. I want to talk about something that we were able to confirm from the Transportation Security Administration. You sit on Homeland Security committee. That's important. $700 million of cash left in Somali couriers luggage out of the Minneapolis airport the last two years. According to tsa, it is the largest amount of cash out of any airport in America. 99 times larger than the amount of cash that was found in luggage going out of JFK International. 90 times larger than the cash going out of Seattle, 99 times larger than Dallas. The TSA was screaming and yelling and putting a flashlight on this and the Biden administration. And quite frankly, the first few months of the Trump administration, no one thought it to be irregular enough to start investigating. It's now being investigated. But how do we stop a cash exodus that might be tied to fraud or illegal aliens in this country? It seems like it was pretty easy for this cash to leave the country.
E
It should be easy to catch it. My first thought, John, you've worked with me on some of these investigations. The suspicious activity reports that we get in our investigations that clearly showed something pretty nefarious occurring with Hunter Biden. Right. It just saddened Treasury. So again, we have all these laws that law abiding citizens follow that they complete the suspicious activity reports. I mean, the reason we know the sum here is these Somalis, they filled out the custom border protection forms. They were a million dollars. So why don't we have an arm of the IRS that just sifts through suspicious activity reports of treasury or looks through customs of border patrol and they say when they see repeatedly large sums of cash flowing out there, at a minimum, they go audit those individuals again. There's a lot easier ways of transferring large sums of money outside America through legal means of wire transfers to do it in a million dollars in cash or 10,000 or 50,000, $100,000. Obviously they're trying to evade law enforcement in some way, shape or form. But they did illegally. They filled out the form that nobody looked at. So again, I don't think we need a new law. We just need some bureaucrats no longer asleep at the switch and some competent management say, hey guys, we're forcing law abiding citizens to provide us all this information. Let's use it. Let's use our brains. And when we see when somebody says, hey, somebody just transferred a million dollars total, $700 million in cash out of the Minneapolis airport, maybe we ought to send in some auditors.
B
What a good idea. What a common sense idea. One last question. $200 billion of money left the country last year through remittance centers. Mexico, China among the largest recipients. Now, obviously, Somalia, there is grave concern that a lot of that is coming from illegal aliens who came into the country. Is there any appetite in Congress to impose a requirement that a remittance center or one of these couriers who lawfully declared the money ascertain that the money's coming from a lawfully resident person before they allow the transmission?
E
Yeah, I mean, those are some common sense controls that we need to pass. Our problem is you've got the filibuster in the Senate, which I now agree with President Trump, we ought to eliminate if we're going to save this country. We can't be obstructed by Democrats here who will not vote for anything to make sure that our elections are fair, that this kind of fraud is actually clamped down on. You listened to the Colmer hearing yesterday. The Democrats on the other side of the dais, they're just off the wall. Can they not recognize how this just destroys a nation and economy when you tax law abiding citizens then transfer it to a bunch of fraudsters Again, this is so destructive of our social fabric here, of our social contract, and it's got to be stopped. But unfortunately, we don't have Democrats who, not in large enough numbers who are willing to work with us in good faith to repair this damage.
B
Well, one thing we do have, we have you. You've shown such an extraordinary spotlight on this insanity. You had it right from the beginning. And I think this moment that we're in will determine what sort of America we live in going forward. It's a great honor, sir, to have you on the show and say thanks for all the great work you're doing.
E
Have a great day. Take care.
B
All right, folks, coming up after the break, another lawmaker who's been pursuing common sense solutions in the sea of INSANITY that Washington, D.C. is Congresswoman Claudia from New York. Up next right after these messages.
A
Welcome back, everybody. As we continue to keep an eye on developments in Minnesota. We're going to turn our attention back to the Somali fraud investigation. Investigation. As we've discussed before, authorities have discovered suitcases containing hundreds of millions of dollars in a Minnesota airport. Now in the meantime, Republicans are working to cut funding for Somali led organizations with alleged ties to the massive fraud scandal. Now, as the FBI pushes forward with its own investigation, one key question arises. What does accountability even look like in this case moving forward? So joining us now to talk about all of this and more is New York Congresswoman Claudia Tenney. Congresswoman, thanks so much for being with us tonight.
F
Great to be on with you too. What a crazy time we're seeing here. Are we?
A
Absolutely insanity. And I know oversight in the House is looking into these fraud allegations, but I wonder if it's even bigger than than we have uncovered thus far, the $700 million in cash going out of the airports there. I have a feeling we are still just scratching the surface.
F
Yeah, it looks really bad and obviously very alarming to see that this US Cash has been legally going through our airports. And of course there is a requirement of reporting if you're going to carry more than $10,000, there's a reporting requirement. But I think a really interesting part about this is if, you know, isn't it going to be a little suspicious when you start seeing 10,000, 100,000 millions and now more, as John reported earlier, more money that goes through jfk, goes through the Minneapolis airport, you know, something's wrong. I think something that's very interesting that we impose on banks is that banks are required under banking law to require and file and keep track of what they call suspicious activity reports. This is something I think we need to do now when we see the large amounts of US Cash and it's always US Cash, I mean, you're not going to see Chinese yen or anything else going through there. And US Cash is king and you're going to. And we need to certainly have this type of cash exchange reported. It's interesting because you see all this illegal immigration had over this time. And by the way, most of those Somalis that are in Minnesota probably came through a refugee program and probably many of them are already legal American citizens. So suspicious activity reports, some kind of accounting for cash I think would really be helpful. I'm looking at ways that we might be able to do this so that we could actually look at what's going on. You know, banks are required to do that. Individuals are not. But I'll tell you, if I'M a TSA agent or anyone else, and I see this kind of cash going through and that you're able to report the amount of cash going through, that it's happening in plain sight. We're seeing corruption in plain sight. Most of the remittances that go back often go to these foreign countries, and there's substantial portions of their economy, whether it's Guatemala and Mexico and other countries, their own workers are sending that money back. But this is at a level that is just unprecedented. And I really think we need to look into a way to track that and to actually show that we can hold them accountable. And that type of suspicious activity leads to fraud, arrest, and what we're seeing unfold every day in Minnesota, which seems to get worse by the day.
B
Yeah, no doubt about it. I want to ask about the two most common way illegal aliens, also legal aliens, by the way, legal residents in the United States, but move money out of the country. Remittance payment centers. And of course, these cash couriers, like the ones that were working out of the Minneapolis airport. Is there any thought in Congress to requiring that a remittance payment business or a cash courier ascertain and make sure that before they move money, the person that they're moving money from out of the United States is a lawful resident or citizen?
F
Yeah, I think that should be a requirement. And also they should have some kind of certification that you are a person that we can trust. Our intelligence forces have already vetted that you can be carrying these huge amounts of cash back and forth to other countries. And I don't think those types of laws are in place. And I think that's a really good way to start having accountability and also tracking where this cash leaving the United States is going. And look what it would have led to had we paid attention to this over the last 10 years. And what you reported earlier on, $700 million. I mean, that's almost a billion dollars going. I think it was 700 million going through an airport in Minneapolis, not JFK. Amazing, right?
B
Yeah, that's exactly right. And that was, in just two years, $350 million a day. Yeah. Million dollars a day going out of the country from Minneapolis.
F
And by the way, where is it going? Where is the cash landing when it's there? Is it going to Boko Haram? Is it going to these terrorist organizations that are involved with, you know, you know, with our enemies? I mean, this is important, too. Where is the cash going? I know people want freedom and cash, and so do I. But like these Amounts of money are just, you know, it is alarming and again, suspicious.
A
Boko Haram Al Shabaab I mean, there's a whole plethora of options here. Congresswoman, I want to ask you about what could transpire this year. I am highly concerned about the messaging coming from Democrats about this, about the shooting in Minnesota. They are really, really going to exploit this for their benefit. How do Republicans combat that?
F
Yeah, look, they have been on the floor today in the House talking about, you know, ICE agents murdering people in cold blood and all that. And this is a tragic situation. But you know, this beginning back in 2018 when Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, I give her credit for starting the defund and demoralize the police movement, the anti police movement that has led to so much unrest and violence against our law enforcement officers. It's caused problems with recruitment, it's caused problems with retention and the inability of law officers to do their job. Look, I feel terrible that this tragedy happened. This woman, this woman died. But you cannot get in the middle of a police officer, law enforcement officer doing their job while in a dangerous situation with a crime. These people do not know what those ICE agents were looking for. They were looking for people who are more than likely cartel members, people who have committed violent crimes or dangerous crimes or rape or human trafficking. And why are you in the middle of. It's like going in when a police officer is chasing a bank robber. You don't go in the middle of that crime. You're putting yourself in harm's way. You're also putting our officers in harm's way because you don't know who they're trying to abscond. Maybe they're going after someone who's a multiple time murderer, who's a member of Treande Aragua or MS.13 and that's the person that they're trying to execute a warrant on. This is really dangerous behavior. But the Democrats keep stoking the fire. They're talking about it as murder. They're telling the people that ICE agents are murderers. They're not following the law. These are people who sworn on an oath of office. And guess what I find really hypocritical is now Tim Walls wants to throw ICE out and bring our National Guard. And now remember, they all objected to the National Guard before, but the National Guard have done an amazing job in helping keep D.C. safe. Kathy Hochul objecting to the national guard coming into D.C. but it was okay when she laid off most of the corrections officers in the state of New York. After we had inmates take over prisons in two of New York's prisons. Two prisons were taken over by inmates. She brought in the National Guard. Yes, the National Guard, to bring order. But they weren't trained to do the work that our corrections officers do. This is very highly trained, important work. Same thing with Governor Pritzker during the Democratic Convention. Brought in the National Guard. One police agency isn't better than another. These people have taken an oath. They are really important people. They need to be respected. And when they're doing a very, very dangerous job, putting themselves in harm's way, you don't get in the middle of that. And that's actually a violation of our law as well. So this is a really tough issue. But this is what the Democrats are going to, another sort of George Floyd incident that they're going to just go on and on. They've already started. It'll be every day on the floor. And it's really a disservice to law enforcement. And I know our law enforcement people are looking for us to stand up for them. And certainly I will say this, Amanda and John, we have bad people that serve in every human group, whether it's lawyers, whether it's police, teachers, media, you name it. But when we have good people, they need to be protected and bad people need to be held accountable. This is why we have laws and rules in place for conduct. That's the place to do. It is not to undermine everyone who answers the call to serve. Our military, our police, our first responders, everyone who's doing these really important jobs. They need our support. They need to be held accountable. Of course. But this is just where the Democrats have gone sideways on this. And it could cause real harm to our communities because we cannot have a free, prosperous society without rule of law. And rule of law is critical. And these are the people that have been assigned by our government to maintain rule of law.
A
One thing is patently clear. Donald Trump stands for rule of law. You stand for the rule of law. Republicans on Capitol Hill stand for the rule of law, and we are very, very grateful for that. New York Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, thanks so much for being with us today.
F
Thank you. I appreciate it. Great to see you all.
A
Good to see you. All right, everybody. Coming up, Congressman Andy Biggs is going to be here to discuss more on all of the Minnesota fraud that we are uncovering and what can be done about it. That's going to be on the other side.
B
Hey, folks, I don't say this slightly. Something big is happening with gold. Three billionaires who really agree on anything are all betting on the same thing. Big banks like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan are raising their forecasts. And now there's a serious economist saying the US Government may raise gold's official price on purpose to deal with the debt. Now think about that, not the market pushing it higher, the government that could send gold to $10,000 an ounce or more, American Alternative assets just released a report that breaks this all down. It's called the surprising case for $10,000 gold, and they're giving it away for free. If you're anywhere near which company age you need to read this, go to john likes gold.com or call 855-GOLD-340 to get your free copy. That's johnlikesgold.com or 855-GOLD-340 get ahead of this before it becomes front page news. Welcome back, America. Over the last couple days, as these dramatic events were playing out in Minneapolis, here in Washington, members of Congress were doing their job, doing oversight, getting to the bottom of that scandal that we started writing about in August of 2024 and how billions of dollars were siphoned from American taxpayers to Somali immigrants, some of it at least 700 million in the last two years sent overseas through the Minneapolis airport or to other destinations. Joining us now, one of the lawmakers who was in those hearings between the House Judiciary and House Oversight. He's now the leading Republican candidate for governor in the great state of Arizona, but we know best as Congressman Andy Bakes. Congressman, great to have you back on the show.
G
Thank you, John. Thanks, Amanda.
B
Good to be with you. Watching these hearings the last few days, listening to these Minnesota whistleblowers talk about being intimidated, even being threatened about their homes and their children and their livelihoods if they blew the whistle on this massive fraud scheme, hearing the TSA agents saying no one would listen to us when we flagged $700 million in suitcases going out of Minneapolis from Somali couriers, it seems as though the Democrats built an intentional system of fraud. What do you think after listening and working through these hearings the last few days?
G
Well, one thing that the whistleblowers made very clear and the lawmakers, we had lawmakers testifying yesterday in oversight. They made very clear that they believe and they had the receipts that Tim Waltz, the governor, and Ellison, who is the attorney general, Keith Ellison, that they actually not they didn't just turn a blind eye, they didn't just facilitate it, but they were active participants in this grifting scheme for political purposes. And that's, that's just despicable. But when, when you look at it, it didn't just. This just didn't happen organically. This, this developed and became a full on enterprise and we don't even know how many spokes that are out there to this day.
A
That's terrifying. Congressman. We know how long the Democrat tentacles extend and whether you're talking about local and state Democrat parties or organizations that lean Democrat. I know we've talked about some other states that probably have this, Ohio, California. But I can't imagine that there's a single state in this country that has a single Democrat in the state where this is not happening.
G
Well, let me, let me for an example. First of all, on the Somali front, Ohio and Washington are the next places that you're going to see this break. And then when you look at just the overall magnitude of, of trillions of dollars that go out for these social welfare programs with very little oversight, very little vetting and it is everywhere. So I'll just give you my home state. In my home state, the, the attorney general who is a Democrat said shortly after she took office a couple years ago, she said the Medicaid fraud in Arizona is more than two and a half billion dollars and that it's the biggest scandal in state history. Since then, a study has come out saying that, that the, in one program alone, it could be as high as $6 billion in Arizona, another program $1.2 billion. I'm just telling you, John and Amanda, if we could just bring the fraud under control, you might save literally $500 billion a year, maybe even as much as a trillion dollars a year in spending. The bottom line is you have got to get after it and go for it as quickly as we can. And the Democrats won't even acknowledge it.
B
It's really stunning. Earlier today, the FBI director Cash Patel told Justin News that he's authorized an investigation into the funders and organizers of these anti ice protests for criminal behavior, meaning they were facilitating the obstruction of lawful law enforcement activities with cars and rocks and other things. It's been a long time. Most times FBI directors of the past all First Amendment protected Cash Patel to first say that First Amendment ends when you block someone with your car, when you throw something at them and harm them. How important a moment is it that we have an FBI director for the first time saying the funding and organizing of those sort of activities are criminal?
G
That is, that is a game changer and it has to be because First Amendment doesn't mean you get to Say or do anything you want. I mean, there's always been parameters on it. That's why you can't commit fraud, because that would involve speech that is, you know, deceitful. That is why you can't use slander or defamation or all of these. So when you are actually engaged in conduct that is obstructing, you know, lawful police conduct, what you have done is you've obstructed justice. And you cannot say, we were just exercising our freedom to speak because you were no longer exercising your freedom to speak. You were engaged in criminal conduct. That doesn't making, that doesn't mean you can't protest. Of course you can protest. But when you get into an active police scenario where the police have a warrant, and believe me, ICE is not going into these places just saying, hey, let's try that house and see what they have, they've got warrants that they have obtained, usually because a whistleblower, maybe even from the illegal immigrant community itself, has given them information. They've gone to a court, they get the warrant. If they're exercising that warrant and you're interfering, guess what, you should be arrested next. But if you want to stand at a distance and you want to protest and you're staying out of the way, that's protected speech.
A
Congressman, before we let you go, for Republicans going into midterms, affordability is king or queen. And I think that Obamacare fixing that is going to be one of those really influential issues when it comes to that. Talk to us about how Republicans can keep a grip on the majority.
G
Well, what we have got to do is we have to start reminding people of how much better things are. First of all, the growth, GDP growth's coming back a record 4.3%. It's going to be even higher next quarter. But moreover, we have to remind people, do you want to go back to $5 gas? Do you want to go back to $10 dozen eggs? Do you want to go back to the inflation caused by Joe Biden? Do you want the idiocy of putting men in women's sports? Do you want the craziness of an open border? Do you like it when you hear Democrats today say that an ICE officer defending himself from a car that is being driven at him is murder, cold blooded murder. At the same time, they're saying, but we can't form any opinions about this until you've investigated. Do you like that kind of idiocy? When people compare the old question of are you better off today than you were under Joe Biden? And the Democrats, I think people say, yeah, things can be better for me now. But man, please don't make me go back to the Democrats.
B
I think that is the question upon which this next election will turn. Congressman, always a great honor. We're watching closely all the great work you're doing in Arizona running for governor. A lot of big contrasts between Democrats and Republicans. That's that you're making them very clear. Great to have you on the show.
G

Us.
D
Thanks for having me.
A
All right, so I know that you work very closely with pure health research, and they make a lot of really great supplements. We've talked about many of them here. What can you tell us about them? What are your favorites?
D
Absolutely. So the first thing I love is their commitment to quality. They only use premium natural ingredients in all their nutritional formulas. Every ingredient used is proven effective by clinical studies. So you're taking something that actually works as advertised. Their formulas are non gmo. They don't use any artificial chemicals, fillers, or preservatives. They also manufacture the supplements right here in America, so you know you're getting top quality. They offer 45 different premium supplements that are crafted to support a wide range of health needs and wellness goals. It's like having a natural pharmacy right at your fingertips.
B
That'd be amazing. As we focus more on our health, the Maha movement has really made Americans more health conscious, maybe for the first time in a quarter century, this much focus. What are some of the supplements that are most popular and having the most impact right now?
D
Well, right now there's a few. The top one, I would say is Liver Health Formula. They've sold over 2 million bottles of this particular one. As the name implies, this formula supports thriving liver health. It could reduce fatty deposits in the liver, ignite metabolism to trim belly fat, and flush out harmful toxins to give you a nice boost in energy. The next one that is very popular is lymph system Support. For anyone who's struggling with swelling or fluid retention in their extremities, especially their legs, ankles, or feet, they're going to love this natural formula. It helps flush out that extra fluid to alleviate uncomfortable swelling or tightness that often happens as we age. It could even restore more shapely legs. Lymph system support works by promoting a healthy lymphatic system, which helps flush extra fluids, fats and and toxins. And the third one is a big one right now because as Maha is trying to get us off sugar, this one helps to regulate your blood sugar. It's called Blood Sugar Formula. And as you can probably guess, this formula helps support healthy blood sugar levels. It could also reduce appetite and fresh sugar cravings, making it easier to stay away from those tempting sweets. Maintaining healthy blood sugar has so many advantages, from dropping extra pounds to shrinking belly fat to boosting your energy levels. And of Course, keeping your blood sugar in check can help keep your vision, kidneys, heart and circulation healthy too. But remember, they have 45 different products so everyone will find something they actually need. And the best part is just for the next 48 hours, you'll save 35% on your order with coupon code. Just news. When you shop@PureHealthResearch.com that's a big savings.
A
Dr. Clark, before I let you go, I have to get your take on the food pyramid that just, just yesterday was flipped on its head. It is glorious. It prioritizes nutrient dense foods. Tell us your thoughts.
D
Well, I mean, this is a long time coming. Special interest infiltrated, I think the FDA and made us as a country, the sickest country probably in the history of the world because we are eating these fast sugars that were easy to get to the consumer but terrible for the consumer's health. And I can't, I can't say enough about what they've done to make people aware of what their body actually needs.
A
I'm just glad butter's back in style. Dr. Clark, thank you so much for joining us today, sharing these great health supplements with us.
D
Thanks for having me. You guys have a great night.
A
Abs, you too.

John, I want to get into something that you probably are not familiar with. I doubt you even know who this person is, but Spencer Pratt, any idea?
B
Actor.
A
Well, I guess you could possibly call him that. He was a reality star on the show the Hills. You've probably heard of the Hills.
G
No.
A
Heidi Montag? Any of them?
G
No.
A
Okay. All right. Well, anyway, it was a huge show for my millennial generation. And Spencer Pratt was the villain on the show. He and his now wife, Heidi Montag, they were the villains on the show together. And they were hated and they were smeared. And for good reason, because they pulled a lot of pretty dirty shenanigans on that show. Well, Spencer Pratt has come out as a hero in Los Angeles because he is one of the. The few people who has been absolutely banging and banging and banging on the door of Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass about the fires. Well, he yesterday declared his candidacy for mayor of Los Angeles, and Steve Hilton has already thrown his support behind him. And it's just. He has not said that yet, I would imagine independent. But it just goes to show, I mean, this is a guy who really doesn't have much of a background in this, but he's speaking to the people of Los Angeles who lost homes and know people. Everybody in LA knows someone who lost something.
B
Influencer background. So that's something. He's got, indeed got a following.
A
So what do you think?
B
Well, listen, he probably has fewer influencers that are Marxists and Cubans, like McCarran Bastas. Remember her twisted history with the Marxist movement? So it'll be interesting to see. That's great. I don't know much about the guy. Don't know anything about the show, but competition is good.
A
All right, so update you on something that just broke before the show. Renee Nicole Good, the woman who was shot yesterday, she was a Minneapolis ICE Watch warrior who trained to resist feds. This is according to the New York Post. They reported that Good worked to document and resist ICE in Minnesota. She reportedly moved to Minneapolis last year and quickly connected with anti ICE activists through her son charter school. The charter school says it put social justice first and involving kids in political and social activism. According to the article, she was a warrior. She died doing what was right. A parent whose child goes to school with the outlet. I struggle to understand. And the vice president brought this up today, John. I struggle to understand how someone who has children is willing to put her life on the line. She had to have at least known that she was going to get arrested. That would still take her. That would still separate her from her child for at least short term. But now she's permanently separated from her children. Fighting on behalf of Somali immigrants in this country, a community that I don't know if she has any connection to, but she's got kids. And that's how much she was brainwashed, is that she was willing to do this.
B
I had a great conversation with Bill O'Reilly today. Bad choices. This whole episode yesterday is a series of 10 years of bad choices, starting with Obama popularizing the idea that open borders were good. Joe Biden executing it, letting all the bad guys in, Tim Waltz making a sanctuary state and keeping ICE from doing its job. Lots of Democrats demonizing law enforcement. And then this young lady going out and deciding that even though we were all trained when we went to driving school, when a red or blue light comes by, you pull over and she's trying to get and block it. Bad choices led to a bad outcome.
A
Yeah, absolutely, John. We spoke to three members of Congress tonight, two from the House side, one from the Senate side. And moving forward, I mean, you know, Congressman Andy Biggs talked about this the most when it comes to affordability and stressing the wins for American Americans. Do you really want to go back to in my case in California was $8 for a gallon of gas. Gas prices, because of what President Trump is doing in the agricultural sector, grocery prices are likely doing going to start falling.
B
That's right.
A
People are really going to start feeling the effects of what was done in year one. So I think a lot of people are going to say, yeah, I am better off.
B
Contrast is going to be really strong. And I think this time, unlike 2020, people aren't going to buy the personality argument anymore, which is how Democrats won. Yeah, listen, this should be a pocketbook election is what Scott Rasmussen and other people have said to us over the last few and I don't know if you saw Scott's polling yesterday, but for the first time since the shutdown, economic confidence is back to pre shutdown levels. That is a good sign for President Trump. The today, if you're in Michigan or Pennsylvania where the trade deficit has for years taken your jobs and your economy away, the lowest trade deficit since 2009, that's like 16, 17 years ago. It's really impressive. There are economic indicators and those economic indicators are soon are going to result in better economic reality on the ground. The Democrats are going to have a hard time running on an economic agenda. And so this is where I think the President now today, 17 Republicans defied the president and voted to give those insurance subsidies away. Again, you've got Republicans, 17 of them who decided to vote for corporate welfare. That's supposed to be a Republican blank, but apparently it is for those 17 or 19, whatever the number was.
A
Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so let's finish up with the health. The news yesterday of the food pyramid being flipped upside down. And since then, do you know who Andrew Huberman is? He's a biohacker. So he's one of these folks. He has a major, major podcast where he talks about different ways to keep yourself healthy. And not a lot of times it's not the things that you would actually think are obvious. I think he was actually the first person who said, eat as much better as you can, not as much as you can, but, you know. Anyway, he has come out in support of the food pyramid flipping. And, John, the reason I bring this up is because I've seen a number of headlines from organizations like the New York Times who are praising this move.
B
Oh, yeah, this is a historic move, and it's based in science. That's why all the. Think of all the people that have been telling us about protein, butter, and good saturated fats on this show. It's been sitting in front of us. It took the government a little time to catch up to the science, but.
A
It has pro tip. If you want to eat or consume less caffeine, start your day with a little bit of protein. And then have a cup of coffee, and I guarantee you won't need a second cup. I learned that from Andrew Huberman. All right, everybody, have a great night, and we will see you tomorrow. This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human.
