Good evening, America. Welcome to the latest edition of John Just THE News. No noise. I'm your host, John Solomon. I'm not in Washington today. I'm used to you always saying that. I'm here in Grapevine, Texas, where we are toasting the next cpac, the Conservative Political Action Conference. A huge audience around here, right around the Real America booth. We've got incredible coverage all day. Senator Ron Johnson is going to join us in a second. But I want to get to some breaking news. We just mentioned it on War Room a second ago. People have been clamoring for accountability for a long time. They've been waiting for a real sign that maybe someone who did something wrong will actually pay a consequence. Today, two criminal referrals against New York Attorney General Letitia James. They accuse her of defrauding two home insurance companies, insurance fraud. The first referral was sent to the US Attorney in Chicago. The second was sent to the US Attorney in Miami and Florida. Both accused her of acquiring mortgage insurance and homeowners insurance for her home under false pretenses, claiming the home was only going to be a vacation home when her family was living in it full time. These referrals mean that they now go to a federal prosecutor and at least in the case of Florida, a red state, and there's a good chance that there could be indictments in the weeks ahead. Go check out all the details over@justnews.com we just got the referrals. You can actually go read them yourselves and see what the federal government says about Letitia James. Now, while that was going on today, Senator Ron Johnson, the chairman of the permanent subcommittee on investigations in the Senate, released 2,000 pages of extraordinary documents once again confirming that the United States government under Joe Biden, under President Joe Biden, kept from the American people clear evidence that there were signals that the vaccine, the COVID vaccine, was harming people, in this case creating a high risk of ischemic stroke. A clear signal is what the document showed. I'm going to bring in my amazing co host Amanda Head. Amanda, we knew that this stuff was hidden for a long time. Senator Johnson has now got it to the forefront. We now know our government didn't put safety first on this vaccine. I know a lot of people buzzing about this in Washington.
Amanda Head
You know what I think is incredible is that Senator Johnson from start to finish, and I know I've brought this up on the show before, Senator Johnson on Capitol Hill at the beginning of COVID was one of the very first people to say let's have a second opinion panel, let's ask some questions, let's try to get some wisdom from experts. And here he is still seeking out answers. And it's phenomenal because there is, there was a lot that was hidden from the American public. I think a lot that was even hidden within the medical community. And now as a result, you have a devastation among trust for people's health care practitioners. So it's important that we get this information out. And I am delighted that we're going to have Senator Ron Johnson in just one moment. But I do have some other headlines that I do want to get to. Tonight. Reports from the White House indicate that Iran may be prepared to negotiate an end to the current war. As we mentioned the other day, Iran presented President Trump with a prize that has yet to be revealed, signaling a willingness for peace talks with the United States. So here is what Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said on Iran. Here's her update.
Caroline Levitt
The United States military continues to decimate the terrorist Iranian regime's offensive and defensive capabilities. Just over three weeks in, it's abundantly clear that Operation Epic Fury has been a resounding military triumph. More than 9,000 enemy targets have been struck to date. Compared to the start of the operation, Iran's ballistic missile attacks and drone attacks are down by roughly 90%. The United States is also annihilating the Iranian regime's navy. We have destroyed more than 140, 40 of their naval vessels, including almost 50 mine layers. This is the largest elimination of a Navy over a three week period since World War II.
Amanda Head
Taking out an entire navy within a matter of weeks truly highlights the success of Operation Epic Fury. However, reports indicate that Iran has actually rejected a cease fire offer and sent a counter proposal to the United States which includes the payment of reparations to the regime. So I don't know if we're going to see a cease fire anytime soon, but it has been clearly stated before that the objective is regime change. And it appears that the Trump administration is at least one step closer to achieving that goal. But if Iran refuses to reach agreements, Caroline Levitt issued a very serious warning. Listen.
Caroline Levitt
But if Iran fails to accept the reality of the current moment, if they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily and will continue to be President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before. President Trump does not bluff, and he is prepared to unleash hell. Iran should not miscalculate again. Their last miscalculation cost them their senior leadership, their navy, their air force and their air defense system. Any violence beyond this point will be because the Iranian regime refused to understand they have already been defeated and refused to come to a deal.
Amanda Head
And while troops continue to be deployed in the Middle East, I'm hopeful that the war will soon end. But as Caroline said, it is up to Iran to make that decision. So, John, does it seem to you like the progression is getting faster? Maybe we're getting closer and closer to the end?
John Solomon
Yeah, we're in close air combat now, which means that the military has complete control over the ocean, over the skies, over part of the land in Iran. And that's allowing them to go after smaller but dangerous targets, mobile missile launchers, armored vehicles and things like that that could be used against the Iranian people if they decide to come out soon and seek freedom. And so I think that is a major milestone in the war. And I think Carolyn nailed it on the head. We're going to get to Senator Johnson. I just got another piece of breaking news. I just learned a few minutes ago that the United States government has settled with General Mike Flynn. Remember, Mike Flynn was improperly prosecuted and pursued by the government. A million dollars and $1.25 million settlement with Mike Flynn and his for the improper pursuit of him. A three star general who did nothing wrong but was put through the ringer in that weaponization system. That just coming across my phone right now. We'll have more on that on just the news in a little bit. But a good day for accountability, right? Someone who's harbor gets made. Right. And someone who may have done wrong about the faith, the music with prosecutors in Florida and Chicago with that somebody who's done a lot right. In fact, for a long time they silenced him because he dared to question the efficacy and the safety of the COVID vaccine. Today we know as he was on so many other things, Hunter Biden, many other things. Russia collusion. Senator Ron Johnson has given us more bombshell evidence. Senator, a great honor to have you
Medicare Advocate
on the show today.
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, thanks for having me on,
Amanda Head
sir.
John Solomon
There was a time where they tried to silence you. They tried to make you look like you were some sort of wingding that was making up things and believing in conspiracy theories. You were right from the beginning. How dangerous is it for our government to keep a signal of a harm from a vaccine from patients from the American public?
Senator Ron Johnson
Of course, the reason they kept those harms away from the American public is they didn't want to create vaccine hesitancy. And in line to the American public, they have created a lot of vaccine hesitancy. But, you know, this, what we revealed today is that this came out of the 8 million pages we got from Bobby Kennedy. We've had to sift through those things ourselves. And just like we found that they knew there were safety signals on myocarditis very early on in like January, February, 2021, they knew that they were being told by the Israelis, they hit it. They downplayed it. Now, we also know through documentation that they also were receiving a signal with the bivalent boosters in late 2022 safety signal repeatedly, week after week after week after week for ischemic stroke for people over 65. And again, they downplayed that. You know, instead of a moderate risk, they crossed out and said slight risk. They were reminding themselves that, remember, the administration wants to really push these bivalent boosters. Keep that in mind as we decide what we're going to warn the American public about the dangers of these shots. But just let me go on a little bit longer. That is a headline news breaking item right there. But the most important part of what we're revealing in this letter to Bobby Kennedy is that the cdc, FDA also were fully aware of the phenomenon of masking in their empirical Bayesian analysis. Now, from my standpoint, I was. I was concerned back in October talking to Mike Eden about these injections. But early on in March and April, because I was concerned as I was following Vaers, Vaers was screaming at us. If we were looking at the thousands of Deaths early on, 46% of those deaths were occurring on the day of vaccination. In one or two days, we're up to almost 39,000 deaths. 24% of those deaths occurred on the day of vaccination or within one or two days. Now, this has been available month by month by month since about March, April of 2021. And the federal officials are still not acknowledging it. Instead, they go to these PRR, the proportional reporting ratios or a more sophisticated. When PRRs were showing safety signals. Oh, we're not using those. We're using empirical Bayesian analysis. They set the trigger, they doubled it from one to two. And they also knew that because they're comparing Pfizer with Moderna and other vaccines, and then Moderna with Pfizer and other vaccines, they were masking the serious adverse events. They knew this. And they continue to use these sophisticated, incomprehensible mathematical calculations to reveal safety signals. And even when with the masking, they saw safety signals, they downplayed it. So, again, this is a bombshell. It's difficult to understand, it's difficult to explain, but this literally should be a bombshell to anybody who understands statistics and these analyses and what the federal government hid.
Amanda Head
And the bombshell of the callousness. Because, Senator, I have a friend of mine who's a civil engineer for the government, and she told me one time, she said, when we are doing a cost analysis of, say, the destruction of the Washington Monument against, you know, a thousand lives lost, she said, every time you would be so depressed to know how many lives it would take for the government to value lives over something like the Washington Monument. And I read these documents and I thought about that because I thought to myself how callous, how heartless these people must have been to prioritize not only their messaging, but also their recalcitrant sense and their belligerence on being right at the cost of people. I mean, in a pain to profit ratio, this is literally pain. The pain of someone having a stroke versus the profit of the pharmaceutical industry. And quite frankly, by proxy, members of the government.
Senator Ron Johnson
Remember back with Gerald Ford, the swine flu vaccine? After about three dozen deaths, 400 cases of Guillaume Barre disease, they pulled that vaccine. Three dozen deaths again. By April, we were looking at thousands of deaths worldwide. Now we're up to 39,000. You take a look at a chart of deaths on vaccines, it's completely off the chart. There's obviously something happening. And yet cdc, FDA officials, the Biden administration, kept saying, nothing to see here. We don't see a safety signal. When again, to anybody who just. You didn't have to be a medical researcher, you didn't have to be a FDA scientist. You could take a look at their own VAERS report. And then, of course, they lied about the vaers. They said, oh, that's just a bunch of cranks shown in false reports, when they knew with studies that 67% of those VAERS reports are submitted by medical professionals. So they touted it before they got the emergency use authorization in October of 2020 when it started showing things they didn't want to see. They completely downplayed VAERS as oh, this was. Doesn't really work. You know, hid the fact the signals in these complex calculations and they're, they're still hiding today.
John Solomon
Senator, it's clearly put public health at risk. When you have 39,000 potential deaths surrounding a vaccine, what is the consequence? What consequence should occur for those at FDC, FDA, CDC, NIH, Dr. Fauci, what are the consequences? Consequences? Now that this data is front and
Senator Ron Johnson
center, first of all, exposure is the first level of accountability. But I also have to point out a Pilgrim study conducted by Harvard, commissioned by the CDC to figure out how they could do a better job of eliciting information from Veirs. The Pilgrim study showed that only 1% of adverse events are actually reported to VEIRs. So 39,000 would be a whole lot more when you consider the underreporting. Other people say underreported by about 30 times. So take 39,000 times 30 is probably a more reliable figure or divided by 0.1 or by 1% and you'll see a much larger number which comports with what we see in the real world experience. But unfortunately, the people who were injection injured, they're still being gaslit because the federal government has been covering this up since day one. Doctors don't recognize these serious injuries. They think it's, they tell the patients it's all in your head. It's psychological. It's, you know, you're being hypochondriac. And so patients still to this day are not getting treatment because they're not being taken seriously because the FDA CDC are not acknowledging the adverse events, the serious adverse events, including death from the COVID injection.
Amanda Head
Sir, before we let you go, if, if there is no accountability when it comes to this, either at the agency level or even on the individual level, do these folks, you know, doctors, pharmaceutical companies, people at hhs, people at fda, do they have any right to demand faith or trust in the government from the American people ever again?
Senator Ron Johnson
No, they don't. There's right now an outbreak of supposedly meningitis in England. They're going through the exact same playbook. Signals are similar, quite honestly on a university to hangovers. And they're using a piece of PCR test which overstates people actually have it that when they finally downgrade it, not for meningitis, they realize there's really not an outbreak, but they're still getting all these college kids got to get vaccinated. The only thing to protect yourself. So they're still using the exact same playbook and they'll use it again in the future if we don't have a reckoning, if the American people don't understand the truth. But the truth is not going to be coming out of these federal health agencies.
John Solomon
Senator, what's your next step? Are you going to make referrals to the Justice Department or to other medical societies? What's your next move on this?
Senator Ron Johnson
I wrote a very long letter to Bobby Kennedy asking for a lot more information. Again, we did not get all the information, even the 8 million pages that we've ferreted out this information out of. Now there's much more detailed information, more targeted information. I've asked to do interviews with the people who are involved in this, you know, the Tom Shim, other people who were in charge of doing the safety surveillance, who knew about masking who again and then completely ignored it. So, no, I want, I want to talk to those individuals. I want to have very in depth interviews. And I want, you know, Bobby Kennedy to make these individuals available to me. And I hope I don't have to subpoena them, but I will if I have to.
John Solomon
Yeah, they're on notice tonight. Senator, I'm surrounded by a room full of patriots. All of them appreciate the fight that you've done to get the American people truth that they were denied. It's a great honor to have you

on the show today.
John Solomon
And you're right, today was a bombshell. Thank you for joining us.
Senator Ron Johnson
Enjoy your time at cpac. Take care.
John Solomon
Yeah, thank you, sir. All right, folks, how about that? Let's hear from Ron Johnson. Senator Ron Johnson, the guy that got you the truth you were denied for five years. All right, we're gonna take a quick commercial break. A whole lot ahead, right after these messages.
Medicare Advocate
Hey, folks, I want to take a minute to talk about something that affects almost every single person watching the show. Medicare. And I'll be honest with you, Medicare is confusing. Part A, part B, part C, Part D, Advantage plans, supplements. It's a maze, right? And I don't think that's an accident. Washington doesn't make things simple. Simple means you're in control and they don't want that. That's exactly why I want to tell you about a Mac, the association of Mature American Citizens. Over 2 million members strong, myself included. They're the conservative alternative to aarp. They fight for the values we talk about on this program every day. Limited government personal freedom, fiscal responsibility, and here's what makes them different. On Medicare, AMAC has licensed advisors who will get on the phone with you, walk you through every option and help you find the plan that actually fits your life. Real simple. No pressure, no sales pitch, just straight answers from people who share your values. So go to a Mac US/Smart or call 800-901-8893. It's free. You've earned the right to get this decision right. Let a Mac help you do it.

Welcome back everybody. Time to get back out to CPAC in Grapevine Texas now where we have a very special guest on set with John. Joining us now, former White House strategic senior adviser for President Trump and the host of CPAC now America UNCancel of Mercedes Schlatt. Mercedes, welcome and I guess welcome to both of you because you guys are there together. I'm the one out on an island.
Mercedes Schlapp
I know we need you here, Amanda. I mean, come on, get, get over here. Over in Grapevine, Texas, there's such good energy.
Amanda Head
It is definitely where things are happening. Talk to us about the crowd because in years past I have seen the demographic expand and it has definitely gone towards younger folks and they are starting to build out the largest demographic. As far as the showing there at cpac, is it looking the same this year?
Mercedes Schlapp
It's going to be remarkable. I mean we're not even on. I would say this is like a mini day, one where we held our international faith summit and then our international summit with three former prime ministers who attended. We had representation from Australia, from Asia, from Europe, both western and Eastern Europe, from Latin America. All because they stand for freedom, all because they stand for fighting against the communists, standing for pro family values and really honing in on the issues that matter the most in terms of the conservative movement of faith, family and sovereignty of their nations. And so for the young people here, it's going to be remarkable. I mean, we've got a lot coming from the College Republicans. As you know, this is a family affair. So many people come from different ages, different backgrounds, from all over the globe. They're ascending here in Grapevine, Texas, because they know that there's a call to action. And that call to action is you fight against the left, you stand up for conservative principles. And this is, as our theme is, actions over words. Enough with the bitter fighting back and forth of trying to name, call each other. Hone in on the actions of people doing the work to win these elections, especially these upcoming midterm elections that are going to be the most critical, I believe, for our country.
John Solomon
It's so amazing. Mercedes. I was here 10 minutes, just got a door getting my pass. I met the Moldovan ambassador. I met you people from Australia. I met some folks from Malaysia. I met someone from India, and they came to me and said, I'm so worried about what's going on in Europe. I travel to Europe a lot. What Donald Trump has proven is that the left can be defeated. And you give us hope. When you go around and you have all these international CPACs now, is the rest of the world drawing their inspiration for the turnaround we did here?
Mercedes Schlapp
Absolutely. I mean, they want their version of Donald Trump in their country. And the. The wonderful blessing is that CPAC has been part of so many of these victories. So we held CPAC Poland last year, and President Noski, who is speaking at cpac, basically told us, if it wasn't for cpac, I don't think I could have won that election. We were instrumental in President Javier Milei's victory in Argentina. We just came back from CPAC Hungary, where Viktor Orban is in a very tight race, and so he's honing in on trying to help Victor Oban win. As we know, the President came out endorsing Viktor Orban as well. We have these key leaders that are very Trump like, and what it is is that for them, it's Hungary first or Italy first or Argentina first. And for us, it's maintaining America first, which is what President Trump inspires us to do every single day in ensuring that we're safe and we're a prosperous nation. And we're taking those values, the conservative values, into these other countries. And what they're looking for always is like, what we do at cpac, organize the grassroots, unite the movement and win elections.
John Solomon
Stunning.
Amanda Head
I love that, Mercedes. I love actions over words. And I look back to CPAC two years ago in 2024. And my goodness, the action that was in transpired from that CPAC that propelled President Trump to victory. And now we are looking in 2026 at not a lot of action happening up on Capitol Hill. One of the most important pieces of legislation, the Save America act, and you've got folks, especially on the Senate side, who have a lot of nice things to say about it and how they're going to get it done through reconciliation, but there's not action. Are you seeing a good turnout from senators who are there, who are willing to answer some, some questions from people
Mercedes Schlapp
we will have. Senator Ted Cruz will be joining us. Senator Rick Scott will be joining us. We're hoping Senator Mike Lee can make it, but he's stuck right now in Washington trying to work on getting the SAVE act passed. You know, look, it's going to be an uphill battle, but they got to move on, really moving forward with this talking filibuster, seeing if we can get it to the finish line. It's a, it's a tough. It's going to be a tough uphill battle. But I think at this point, we have to put a lot of pressure on Majority Leader John Thune to, to move forward with the SAVE act in getting it voted on and seeing if we can get it to the finish line. I think even through reconciliation, they'll try to strip it out and say, this is not going to work. But we, we have to use every single tool we have in the toolbox to see if we can get it done. I know here at cpac, based on a resolution we just passed here at CPAC standing for the. Supporting the SAVE Act. It was a big topic, and I know it's going to be a big topic of discussion here during the event.
John Solomon
Yeah, amazing. I think one of the amazing things about Donald Trump's comeback in 2024 is people think, well, we did the job, we got him back in 26 is right around the corner. If we don't want to have 45 impeachments in the next year, what is the key to getting our base back out, to voting, getting them engaged in the fall so that this legacy extends quicker and faster.
Mercedes Schlapp
Yeah. There's no moment to rest from now till November. I really believe CPAC is that kickoff as we're going into the midterm elections. I'm actually concerned that when you're looking at the White House and these other places, they're so focused on the war in Iran, which I think is very important, and They're, They're. They're focused in that area, and we really have to get them to hone in and focus on these midterms. You know, we've got these. We can lose the House so quickly. There's such few seats that are in play there. And then these Senate races where we have these very viable candidates. But at the end of the day, we got to make sure they're going to get the support they need and get the grassroots activated so that we get these voters out. Remember, when it's not, When Trump is not on the ballot, it's always a lot tougher. And so it's up to all of us to ensure. And the Democrats, John, you know this. They are so highly motivated right now. They hate Trump so much, they're going to do everything they can to get the Democrats in power. So we have not one minute to waste. We have to activate our base. We cannot stay home. We have to activate our faith voters. We have to work with our rural voters as well. We are working hard with CPAC Latino and CPAC women to court those voters as well. To say, you cannot stay home. This is about saving our, our republic. It is about ensuring that President Trump can get his job done.
John Solomon
Yeah. So important. So very important.
Amanda Head
Hate is a very strong motivator, and unfortunately, hate is a hot commodity on the left side of the aisle. Mercy, you guys mentioned legacy, and President Trump, obviously, with Iran, if there can be regime change there, that will be a huge part of his legacy. But also, you are Cuban. What would it be like for. For you to see. And also, what would it be like for President Trump's legacy to see a free Cuba during his administration?
Mercedes Schlapp
You know, my father was thrown into jail for seven years fighting against the dictatorship of Fidel Castro. They lost everything. He lost his businesses. He lost his homes. And I think, you know, obviously, the only president I know who is capable of bringing freedom to Cuba is Donald Trump. So I have full trust in him that he's going to do the right thing in ensuring that the right levers of pressure are put on the Cuban government to make significant change. It is about time. It has been 67 years. We need change in Cuba. We know that they've been very effective in what they were able to do, the Trump administration, with Venezuela. And I think that with the right strategy in place, we can see change. So, again, I think it would be a remarkable moment in time. It would be historic. And as we know, we're living in unprecedented times right now. And really, it's Donald Trump, who's I think multitasking in managing what's happening in Iran and in all these different places around the globe.
John Solomon
Before we let you go, just real quickly, you've been doing this a long time now. Did you ever imagine it would be this big?
Mercedes Schlapp
You know, God is great. God is amazing. And we consecrated so CPAC to our Lord. We believe that God is what drives this incredible movement that we're seeing. He knows that we stand for truth. He knows that we stand for what is right. We stand for family, we stand for faith. And I know that whatever all the goodness that comes out of this conference is because of God. So we are just humble servants doing his great work. So it's really humbling and just an honor to be be part of this important movement.
John Solomon
God bless you.
Amanda Head
Amen. Amen. Amen.
John Solomon
Amazing.
Amanda Head
Mercedes Schlapp, thank you so much for being here with us tonight. And John, I'm a little jealous you get to be there with her in person, but we are so excited about CPAC this year. And remember, RAV is going to have wall to wall coverage of CPAC this year tomorrow, all the way through Saturday. So make sure that you tune in now. Speaking of tuning in, make sure you stay tuned in because next is there actually a split within MAGA with the war in Iran? We're going to examine that and more with pollster Jim McLaughlin from CPAC. On the other side.

Is brought to you by Native Path Grass fed collagen for better bones, joint skin, hair and nails. Here's something that genuinely surprised me. Calcium supplements, the ones millions of people take for bone health, may not be doing much at all because bones are 90% collagen, not calcium. Without the collagen scaffold to attach to, calcium has nowhere to go. That's where today's sponsor comes in. After 30, our bodies produce 1 to 2% less collagen every single year. That's a protein that keeps our bones dense, our joints cushioned, and of course our skin firm. By age 60, like me, most people have lost half their collagen and it's nearly impossible to get it back through diet alone. Because it lives in the parts of the animal we don't eat. The bones, the cartilage, the tendons. Native Path grass fed collagen is a clean, grass fed type, 1 in 3 collagen that dissolves completely in coffee or water. No taste, no clumping. Thousands of customers report less joint pain, stronger nails, younger looking skin, better sleep and even improve bone density. Scans to try risk free with a 365 day money back guarantee. Head to getnatapath.com that's getnatapath.com JustNews.

All right folks, welcome back. We're at CPAC here in Grapevine, Texas at the beautiful Gaylord Resort. We're surrounded by patriots all around here. I wish you could see the crowd here. It's just an amazing group of energized, freedom loving Americans. I've known my next guest for a long time. I can't think of anyone that understands the political dynamics better, who understands how to make candidates win, how to get messages that resonate with everyday Americans. He's been doing politics since I think he was about five years old, right?
Jim McLaughlin
Pretty much. Pretty much what it seems like.
John Solomon
One half of the incredible McLaughlin brothers, our good friend Jim McLaughlin. Buddy, good to have you here John.
Jim McLaughlin
It's great to be here. And boy, as soon as you walk in this place, the energy, it's just unbelievable. And by the way, the Democrats and their friends in the media are going to go nuts. See the energy, the passion and the excitement here at cpac they don't have
John Solomon
anything like this either.
Jim McLaughlin
No, not even close together. Not even close.
John Solomon
It's just remarkable. All right, so we're at a recordable moment. You have a president that could in September have Venezuela, Iran and Cuba in his back pocket. Something no one would have ever imagined. $2 gas, a booming economy moving towards 5% GDP. How does that translate? How do you get our voters out to make sure they close the deal in November?
Jim McLaughlin
Oh, there's no question about it. But you know who I think is going to be the best turnout? Who's that effort for us is the Democrats.
John Solomon
Yeah, I agree with you.
Jim McLaughlin
And all these crazy candidates that they are nominating in these Democrats Democratic primaries because they're basically nominating a bunch of these Zoran Mandanis of the world who want open borders, who want to put, just as the President said in the State of the Union address, they want to put criminal illegal aliens over the rights of law abiding Americans. And by the way, don't forget they want to give us the largest tax increase in American history. And that's what's going to help our turnout.
John Solomon
I agree with.
Jim McLaughlin
Because they know our conservative issues work and the Democrats are extreme and they failed.
John Solomon
Yeah, the more they're on there, the better Republicans do.
Jim McLaughlin
Without a doubt. Without a doubt.
John Solomon
Crazy.
Amanda Head
Jim, you mentioned some of these issues that the, that the Republican people can run on that will really, really drive turnout. One of them major 8020, maybe even 8515. Is the trans issue. Trans and women's bathroom, Trans. Trans and women's sports. How much are you seeing regarding polling? Because this is kind of a residual issue. President Trump signed executive order regarding this. A lot of states are moving on it. But is there still residual fervor in this category that will also drive turnout?
Jim McLaughlin
Yep. Because, you know, it's funny, after the election, the Democrats told us, yeah, we got the message. People like Tom Suozzi told us they got the message. Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton and even Gavin Newsom. But then what did they do after the election? They double down on extreme and they think it's okay for biological men to compete against young girls in sports. And I'm telling you, President Trump talks about it. You know, people say it's an 8010 issue. I think President Trump is right. It's a 9010 issue. And the Democrats haven't learn their lesson. And they're keep, they keep on going to the extreme.
John Solomon
Yeah, it's amazing. All right. I think the Republican Party has a little bit of Trump hangover. 24 was such a remarkable comeback. And everybody think, well, we did our job. Donald Trump and Donald Trump scoring. There's been a string of losses in places where Republicans don't normally lose. I'm not that panicked about it. But what's that moment where you flip that in and we're done with realizing 24 is over and 26 is.
Jim McLaughlin
We're all in on it starts yesterday, yesterday. And we need to get it going. We've got, you know, I'm working on a lot of different campaigns across the country. We're already in these campaigns iding our voters ID in the folks that we have to persuade as we're going along here. We need to get on offense right away. We need to let them know. And look, you know, people talk about it, you know, being conservatism works and whatnot.
John Solomon
Right.
Jim McLaughlin
Conservatism now is common sense.
John Solomon
It is.
Jim McLaughlin
The Democrats are the extreme, all the crazy things that they support right now. And look, we used to win campaigns by calling them liberals, right. They've gone way past. And you think about it, you've got these Democrats, you saw it in that New Jersey 11 primary, who another Democratic socialist won. Now you have a bunch of these other primaries across the country where you have these Democratic social media socialists winning. And just as we were talking about it before, they want all this extremist. They want to take away your health care. They want government run health care. They Want the open borders. They want to literally let criminal illegal aliens not just stay in the country, but also to be able to vote once we get into that contrast mode and we got to do it sooner rather than later. And to your point, John, we can't be complacent.
John Solomon
Oh, I think that's the key because turn that engine on.
Jim McLaughlin
The Democrats are scared to death of Donald Trump. They are scared to death of Donald Trump's political skills. They are going to do everything in their power to try to win, cheat, claw back power.
John Solomon
Oh yeah, it's the hail maritime for them.
Jim McLaughlin
Without a doubt. Without a doubt.
Amanda Head
Jim, before we let you go, since you mentioned illegals voting in election, how badly does it hurt Republicans if they don't pass the Save America Act?
Jim McLaughlin
It scares the death out of me because they didn't cheat as much in 2024 as they normally do. Why? Because guys like Chris La Civita and Michael Watley did a great job at the RNC and we were looking for it. But the other reason was the Democrats were complacent. They didn't think Donald Trump was going to beat him. And obviously we were tell. We knew from our polls we were going to win that election. They are going to pull out all the stops in this election. You see what they're doing now? They want to be counting votes like weeks after election day. They want illegals to be able to vote. So we can't take any of this stuff for granted. We got to get out there and work. And that's why passing the Save America act is so darn important. And by the way, the support on that thing, having to have a voter ID, it's 85% plus it's 70% of Democrats. It's over 70% of black voters. They the support for the Save America act is overwhelming.
John Solomon
When I checked in today, a guy came up to me from North Carolina and he said, my message to anyone who wants to support Michael Whatley is vote like Irena's life matters.
Medicare Advocate
On it.
John Solomon
The young woman who was stabbed to death on that train by a guy who was let out 20, 30 times, probably by Roy Cooper. How big is that violent crime and legal alien crime? The fact that new tragic examples are coming on TV every day now.
Jim McLaughlin
Yep. And look, I am seeing the immigration issue come back because a few months there, you know, folks were looking at over the last year and they said, God bless Donald Trump.
John Solomon
Yeah.
Jim McLaughlin
You know, you thought it would take him about a month or two maybe to close the border.
John Solomon
Yep.
Jim McLaughlin
It seemed like he did it within about 10 minutes of getting sworn in. I mean, I mean, it was totally incredible.
John Solomon
Yeah, it is.
Jim McLaughlin
But the problem is what happened during the Biden years.
John Solomon
Yeah.
Jim McLaughlin
How many illegals got into this country? How many terrorists? How many criminals? Depending upon who you talk to, some people say it's 10 million, some people say it's 15 million, some people say it's 20 million. And the Democrats are doing everything in their power to demonize our poor ICE law enforcement officers. They're trying to stop it. We got to keep it going and we've got to keep being vigilant, especially when it comes to getting criminal illegals out of the country.
John Solomon
It's a winning issue. It's the 21st century of Willie Horton, the famous ad from 1988. We just got to lay in it. No doubt about it. Jim, it's always a great honor to have you on. You are one of the brightest political minds I've ever met in my career.
Jim McLaughlin
Thank you, John. Pleasure's all mine. You already broke news. Now you'll break at least two or three other things stories by the time C pack's over.
John Solomon
Yeah, maybe. But I'm for tonight. All right, Amanda, we're going to send it off to commercial break, folks. We'll be right back right after these messages.
Amanda Head
Welcome back, everybody. Every January, millions of people resolve to lose weight and many turn to weight loss injections or the new pill versions. And the. That's a great call for some. But for many, weight loss injections can cause some very serious side effects. So what measures can we take to ensure our health is maintained while also resolving to lose that pesky weight? So joining us now to discuss this is Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Dr. Greg Cinnamon. Doctor, thanks so much for being with us tonight.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
Good to be with you. Thanks.
John Solomon
Good to have.
Amanda Head
You know, the more I hear about these Medicaid or these weight loss injections, the GLP ones, it seems like we are really just now getting to the place where we're learning some of the devastating side effects. What are they?
Researcher on Cancer and Work
Yeah, you know, a lot is coming out and we all jumped into this really quickly and we saw so many patients jump into the injection world. And it is a great solution for a number of people. It's a tough solution for many others. The side effects are significant. A lot of it has to do with your body's ability to metabolize the injection. A lot of side effects we don't want to talk about on TV that wouldn't be particularly enjoyable. But really one of the most difficult Things about the weight loss injections is the people who end up going off of them. Yes, they're expensive, but also with the side effects, a lot of people will stop. And roughly 80% is the last number I saw. Put the weight on immediately the hunger comes back roaring back. And all of the benefits that you saw with the weight loss injections and the pills we're seeing tend to go away. And so, yeah, great short term solution, but people aren't thinking through, is this something I'm going to be taking for the next 10 or 15 years of my life or am I willing to do this? But I'm going to put the weight right back on. Plus.
Medicare Advocate
Yeah, yeah, it's an expensive 10 year
John Solomon
commitment, at least at current prices.
Medicare Advocate
It's very expensive. So that rebound effect is very real. We're starting to see studies of people saying that they put all the way back on the second the injection stop. Tell us about the work that you guys have done at Breakout Nutrition to create a weight loss solution that has less side effects, less expense and a pretty good track record of success thus far.
Senator Ron Johnson
Yeah.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
So the science is what's, what's really interesting about this and if you look at what's effective about the GLP1 injections and the ingestibles is that they regulate your blood sugar so your glucose levels start to stabilize. When that happens, the cravings start to go away, you're not as hungry, you don't have the spikes and the falls in your blood sugar glucose levels. So that's really healthy about them. Secondly, they really kind of knock your appetite down and that's how it really functions. So what really was the missing piece of this is how do we mirror some of those effects with a supplement? Right. So if you don't want to take an injection, you don't want to get a prescription, you don't want to go through the cost of this. Is there a way of mimicking, if you will, some of the benefits that they have, but do it in a supplement, in a healthy supplement. And that's what the scientists here at Brick House did. One of the researchers out of a major university out here in the west coast was the one that kind of figured this out. Brilliant guy. So what Lean is, it's a daily supplement, really healthy to do, but it does that, that real similar thing. So. But it adds one really interesting factor. So not only does it kind of manage your air, help your glucose levels and your blood sugar, so you're stable throughout the day, so you don't have the Peaks and the valleys that cause you to eat all day. It helps suppress your appetite. So you're not hungry all day. Which is one of the biggest problems when people are trying to lose weight is they're just hungry all the time.
Jim McLaughlin
Right.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
So blood sugar helps suppress your appetite. And then a really important third thing, and this is where a speed element comes in, people want to lose weight quickly and one of the reasons they don't stay on diets is it doesn't happen fast enough. So what Lean does is it has a thermogenic effect which helps you burn fat by converting it into usable calories.
Medicare Advocate
So you mentioned the science before we let you go. There is a lot of great research that Brickhouse Nutrition is doing. It's backing its scientists with scientific studies. So we know exactly what's going on. Tell us about some of that exciting research.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
Yeah, and this is what separates Brickhouse and really a lot of the products that you see out there. One of the questions consumers always have to ask is, where's the studies behind this? Brick House did an Auburn University study on some products. And this is remarkable because when Lean comes out of studies and Lean comes out, it's not just anecdotal stuff. Right. Where you hear most commercials and somebody's pushing a weight loss product and you're going, it worked for me and I lost 20 pounds. It worked for me and I lost 50 pounds. How do you know? Right. And so when you look at what's behind a company, you have to look at who's doing the research behind it and is it independent? And so when a company like Brickhouse says, look, Lean works, this is a great product for losing weight, it's because there are remarkably good studies behind it. And you can have that confidence that I'm buying something that actually is going to work and I'm not just taking somebody's third party anecdotal work for it.
John Solomon
What a great idea.
Amanda Head
Another Auburn mention tonight. I love it.
Medicare Advocate
Doctor, our Auburn alumnus right here, Dr.
Amanda Head
Greg C. Yeah, absolutely. Always proud to mention that. Doctor of Clinical Psychology. Thanks so much for joining us tonight.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
Could I mention quick where people can get it if they're interested in taking the product?
Amanda Head
Oh, yeah, sure. And we're gonna do a call to action too.
Researcher on Cancer and Work
Okay, thank you. So takelean.com and they, they love you guys so much, they offered a special discount to your, to your viewers. So go to takelean.com yeah. And enter Just news and you're going to get a special discount.
Amanda Head
I love it. I love it. Dr. Greg Cinnamon thanks so much for being with us. And as he said, if you're looking to maintain your health while losing weight and you don't want to deal with the dangerous side effects of those weight loss injections, consider the new supplement Lean Not a Drop. It is a daily supplement that helps you control your appetite and cravings while converting stubborn fat into energy. It also helps you maintain a healthy blood sugar level. So visit, as he said, takelean.com justnews and use the promo code just news to get 20% off. Again, that's just news. Takelean.com just news. And the promo code is just news for 20% off. We'll be right back. Welcome back, everybody. It is our final segment of the night. This is the first night of cpac. And my amazing co host John Solomon is there on the ground in Grapevine, Texas at the Gaylord Hotel where this is all taking place. And remember, we're going to have coverage all throughout the rest of the week until the ending day, which is Saturday. That's the last day of SeaPac. So we're going to have top to bottom coverage. I'm here in Washington. John is there at sepac. So we're, we've absolutely got you covered, John. I wanted to ask you something about what Mercy Schlatt mentioned. She said that the event that took place today, she said it was a really big event. I think it was called the International Faith Summit. And I was thinking about how, how important faith is to this movement. And of course, during President Trump's first term, he did so much for faithful, believing Americans. Obviously the pro life work that he did. Are you seeing an emphasis on the faith side of the conservative movement at CPAC this year similar to other years?
John Solomon
Oh, no doubt about it. And by the way, even with the international folks here, everybody talking how important faith is that the last four years of the Biden administration before Donald Trump came back into power was kind of like being Moses in the desert, wandering about, not knowing if you'd ever get back to a good destination. And then the miracle of Donald Trump's win. So what people are saying, I was out in the commercial break, we were talking to people out on the stage here. It was a miracle. And I think people have taken the last year as a return to call the faith and to, to family. I had a lot of people come up to me today and say, you know, I spent just a little bit more time with my family since Charlie was killed or I pray a little bit more often since the day President Trump moved his head Just a centimeter. And that bullet only nicked his ear. The sense of faith and the fact that it's a bedrock now of the conservative movement, very palpable right here in this room today.
Amanda Head
Yeah, listen, I got to say, thank God it was only four years of Joe Biden and not 40 years like the Israelites dealt with time after time after time. John, I want to show something on the, the screen and hopefully, John, you can see it as well. Guys, if you want to skip down to the other asset of Gavin Newsom, a very interesting comparison. Gavin Newsom, of course, Governor of California, tweeted out a picture of himself and Patrick Bateman from the character from American Psycho. And he said, for so many years, people have been saying that Patrick Bateman and I look alike. Now, this pick has been going all over the place. What do you think? Patrick Bateman, of course, played by Christian Bale. John, I don't know about you, but I don't think I would want ever want to compare myself to someone like the character of Jason Bateman.
John Solomon
Yeah, we could have gone for Freddy Krueger because the way he's killed the state's budget, he might as well take Patrick. I don't get these Democrats. It's so weird the way that they, they obsess over themselves. Most people really don't care about your vanity options. They want to know how they're going to get their food on table, how they're going to make gas more affordable. And Gavin Newson can't talk about that because he doesn't have a policy to address that. And so he spends a lot of time on idle, meaningless things. He'd rather spend more time with the elitist in Davos than with his own people. Because the Gavin Newsom so socialism, experience experiment in California has created such pain that people are leaving by the millions. And I, I had some people say we're talking about, like, I think our state could turn red because all the Democrats are fleeing their own experiment.
Amanda Head
Yeah.
John Solomon
And I found that interesting. But, yeah, Gavin News and stuff. Now, Amanda, I just want to say
Amanda Head
one thing before you say something I have to correct. Poor. Please, I had to correct myself. Poor Jason Bateman. Not Jason Bateman. Bateman. Patrick Bateman. Okay, John, go ahead.
John Solomon
Patrick Bateman.
Senator Ron Johnson
Okay.
John Solomon
I couldn't correct you because I'm culturally illiterate. So if I had a dollar for every time someone has come up to me since 2 o' clock when I got here saying, where's Amanda? I'd be a millionaire already. Everybody misses you here. We miss you dearly. But we have a lot of fun ahead for the next few days. A lot of breaking stories and big news ahead. What was your big takeaway in Washington today?
Amanda Head
You know, Caroline Levitt was very, very stern from the podium today. She, you know, she always is comes very, very, very, very prepared to that podium. But she, she seems like she's had it up to here with the false rhetoric, I guess we should say, and the needling rhetoric from the media in the briefing room today. She was having none of it. And, and she issued a number of stern warnings and corrected the media on a few different stories. And it was great to see. You know, we're used to seeing some press secretaries from the last administration who didn't know their stuff. Yes, absolutely. All right, everybody, that's all the time we have for tonight, but we're going to be back here tomorrow night at 6pm Eastern. John at CPAC. Everybody have a great one. We'll see you tomorrow.
