Good evening America, and welcome to the latest edition of JUST THE News. No Noise. It's your Monday edition and I'm your host as always, John Solomon reporting to you from the nation's capital, where just a few short minutes ago the president did something that has been talked about in Washington for more than a decade. President designated the long known terrorist group of the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization to be dealt that way by the Treasury Department and others all across the country. That story broke on Justin News yesterday. I was at church, believe it or not. The president texted me, said I'm going to do this, gave me an on the record statement and we were able to get out on that. Now why did he text us? Because a few days earlier Justin Hughes did a nice piece by Jerry Dunleavy that explained the whole history of the Muslim Brotherhood destabilizing the world, recruiting young people into terrorism, and yet there had been no action. Lots of promises, but no action for a decade. President Trump took care of that. Also on our Raider today and it is a big deal. It is the a little while ago the Biden appointed judge overseeing the James Comey case and also the Letitia James case. Well, we're going to have to wait a little bit longer for accountability because that judge just dismissed the charges against both Comey and James, saying that the prosecutor, the temporarily appointed prosecutor, was not properly appointed and therefore he threw out the judges. Cameron Curry wrote in the ruling that the appointment of U.S. attorney Lindsey Halligan by Attorney General Pam Fondi wasn't lawful and therefore invalid. She continued by making the point that because Halligan was an invalid appointment, he had no lawful authority to present the indictment. And that ruling affected the case brought against Letitia James as well. Now, Comey, for his part, had this to say after the ruling reminded Americans that a president should use the Department of Justice to prosecute his political shouldn't use the Department of Justice to prosecute his political way. He also expects to be indicted again. Watch this. I'm grateful that the court ended the case against me, which was a prosecution based on malevolence and incompetence and a reflection of what the Department of Justice has become under Donald Trump, which is heartbreaking. This case mattered to me personally, obviously. But it matters most because a message has to be sent that the president of the United States cannot use the Department of Justice to target his political enemies. Hmm. Kind of funny given what happened on James Comey's watch pursuing Donald Trump, the president and presidential candidate for Russia collusion. But we'll get to more of that later. Here's the thing. This case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it can be brought again. The White House also immediately said that the DOJ will appeal this judge's ruling. So a lot more to come. This is going to be a tit for tat for a while. Here is the thing that I would be watching for. See if this case gets transferred to Florida in the grand conspiracy investigation that we believe the Miami US Attorney has been given permission to pursue. We'll get more of that in the days ahead. But one other big news that we're following tonight, the Pentagon announced a while ago that it's investigating Senator Mark Kelly for his part in a video urging troops to defy, quote, illegal orders. The Department of War wrote on X that they'd be looking into the allegations of misconduct against Kelly, that they may recall the senator to active duty to face court martial proceedings. That's right. He used to serve in the military, was an astronaut. That matter would be handled under military law. That's a big deal. Going to keep a close eye on that. Mark Kelly, of course, already upset by that news. All right, let me turn to my amazing co host, Amanda Head. Amanda, you've been watching some news today. What's on your radar?
Amanda Head
Indeed, indeed. On the foreign policy front, actually, of course, the Trump administration has been reporting some progress in its latest round of Russia, Ukraine peace talks. The latest coming from Secretary of State Marco Rubio yesterday in Geneva. Take a look at.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
We arrived here today with one goal.
Spinquest Advertiser
And the goal was to take, you.
John Solomon
Know, what was 28 points or 26 points, depending on which version, as it continued to evolve and try to narrow the ones that were open items. And we have achieved that today in a very substantial way.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Now, obviously, like any final agreement, they'll.
John Solomon
Have to be agreed upon by the presidents.
Spinquest Advertiser
And there are a couple issues that.
John Solomon
We need to continue to work on.
Spinquest Advertiser
But I think the report today is.
John Solomon
That I think today was worthwhile.
Amanda Head
And President Trump has set a deadline of Thanksgiving to wrap up all the negotiations. And the White House has maintained that the president remains hopeful and optimistic for that deal. And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinski also said earlier today that he and President Trump will speak about what he called sensitive issues dealing with this peace plan. And John, I want to quickly turn to the Comey and Letitia James case for just a moment that being dismissed because I have to show you how Ms. Now obviously that is the former msnbc how they are framing what happened today.
Podcast Host
Take a look.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
President being very explicit about what he wants the Justice Department to do.
Spinquest Advertiser
Very explicit about what he people he.
John Solomon
Wants them to target and for the.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Reasons he wants them to target.
John Solomon
It's not, it's not a coincidence that.
Spinquest Advertiser
All the people targeted by the Justice.
John Solomon
Department are people that he doesn't like.
Spinquest Advertiser
Right.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
It's not like this Justice Department has.
John Solomon
Gone after Trump allies or Republicans who might have done something wrong. Remember the Biden Department, Justice Department actually prosecuted Democratic Senator, the Democratic mayor of.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
New York, even the president's own son.
Amanda Head
Oh, boy, oh, boy. John, in your long storied career, I know you have done a lot of reporting on DOJ abuses and of course, we talked about it throughout the Biden administration. What do you make of his statements?
John Solomon
It sounds like MSNBC with a new name now. I mean, listen, they've been carrying the Democratic National Committee talking points for a long time. I didn't see MSNBC be very upset when they went after Donald Trump or his family or all of his supporters. They seemed to think that was a righteous cause. But the second the same Justice Department is turned against a member of Congress, let's remember he just talked about a Democratic member of Congress being indicted. That member of Congress is alleged to have stolen $5 million from people who are impacted by disaster. Not exactly a frivolous, politically motivated case. So I think when you see this, you know, it is what it is. It's a network that utters the talking points and doesn't really get into the facts that much. I don't think NBC or now NBC, a different organization, but I don't think they really covered the facts of these cases very much. People need to know the facts of why James Comey and Letitia James are charged or why Adam Schiff might be charged. We'll see if those facts ever get out in the mainstream media.
Amanda Head
Yeah, absolutely. Unbelievable. I'm excited to talk to our first guest today, though, John, because as we see the Democrat Party moving in the direction of what weaponizing the system of justice and also moving in the direction of socialism politically. And I know he wants to nail on this topic, so let's bring him in.
John Solomon
All right. Yeah, we're Very lucky to be joined by Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grossman to kick off the show today. Congressman, great to have you back on the show.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Glad to be on the show as always.
John Solomon
All right. I want to turn to that seminal vote late last week where Democrats had to say they couldn't reject socialism. Before we get to that, I just want to get to the two big stories. A long awaited designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization in the Comey case being thrown out. Just your quick reaction to the two big headlines today on the Muslim Brotherhood.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Thing one more time. President Trump doing something that I think the public would overwhelmingly be in favor of. And the big question is why for four years did Joe Biden sit there and not designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization? It's something that's no question. We should be monitoring them more and more. It's more relevant all the time. More relevant because of all the people were allowed across the southern border during the Biden administration. Very important to monitor what's going on there. And if some horrific thing would happen in this country in the next three or four or five years, it wouldn't surprise anybody if it was the Muslim Brotherhood that didn't do it.
Amanda Head
Yeah. And it seems like this is a long time coming. But is this something that comes across to you as bipartisan? It seems to me that everyone would be on board with limiting an organization, not only limiting the organization, but also just opening up a whole tool chest of investigative weapons to go after them.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Well, the problem is the Democrats are really for any immigrant groups that are different than the Native Americans. So that's why I think it wasn't done under President Biden. He considered anybody coming here who would permanently change America as being his friend. And obviously, anytime somebody from the Muslim Brotherhood is recruited or moves into this country, you're changing America for the worse. And sadly, changing America for the worst is what President Biden was all about.
John Solomon
Yeah. All right, sir. I want to turn to a very important vote that occurred last week. More than 100 Democrats being unable to repudiate socialism. For those who fled socialism in Cuba or the Soviet Republic or communism, this has to be a shocker to know that at least 100 members of one of the ruling parties in America doesn't think there's a problem with socialism. Your thoughts on why this is perhaps a more meaningful vote than just a symbolism?
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Well, first of all, a huge change. You know, we took this vote a couple of years ago. We were at 86 Democrats. Now we're at 109 Democrats. It's almost, if you listen, real are real still in the House chambers, you can watch the Democrats one by one becoming more socialist oriented. I mean, that's a huge shift in a two year period, 86 to 109. Then you have to say, what does socialism mean? Socialism means the government runs everything. You've got to rent from the government, you got to be hired by the government. You've got to determine what you can buy by the government. Socialism is the end of freedom. And I would hope that anybody reading about what happens when the government has absolute power, everything sees the horrific places it winds up, be it in Cambodia, be it in Cuba. Talk to some of your friends if they'd ever been to Cuba. Wow, what a mess. You read about what's going on in the Soviet Union, Red China, what have you. So it's scary that, that many Democrats are shifting to wanting the government to run everybody's life, to want the government to run or almost employ everybody for the government to do almost, almost all of the production in the country. Very scary. But like I said, 109, 86 was a shock two years ago. Now we're at 109. People have to wake up and see what this Democrat Party is about. And socialism is the opposite of freedom. Socialism means the government employs everybody, which is of course what the Democrats want. As it is in our current system, they're trying to get more and more people working for the government. Under socialism, everybody works for the government.
Amanda Head
Congressman, help me understand, because the 2024 election for a lot of people came down to the system of govern, the level of freedom. And folks looked at President Trump as the capitalist, the free market guy, the guy who wanted to expand freedoms rather than contract them. And look no further than places like Miami, where you have so many Cuban immigrants or children of immigrants who came from, from that type of Marxist background. And then look at what happened in the election. How did Democrats see that and then double down in the other direction?
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Well, when I look at the election, I know everybody's happy about the election, man. We're grateful President Trump won. But you look at Kamala Harris getting 48%, that is scary. That means 48% of the public voted for somebody who's almost promising to permanently fundamentally change America. We want a bunch of smart college professors in Washington deciding how our economy operates, what we're going to produce, how much people are going to make. We want a situation which you have to work for the government. And therefore your promotion or demotion or whatever is determined by your Political feelings, which is what happens under socialism. Even now. Now I look at my career as a politician. I get a call from, say, the Department of Natural Resources when I was a state legislator. Get a call from somebody who works for a school district and they'll say, glenn, never let them find out what my name is or I'd be trouble. That's what happens in our system. If you're working for the government or working for a university or working for a K 12 school district, can you imagine what it'd be like in socialism if everybody had to work for the government? The end of freedom.
John Solomon
So I want to ask about something that happened over the weekend. Six Democrat members of Congress encouraging members of the military to resist or to refuse to follow the order of the President if they're deemed illegal. The suggestion is that maybe what the President's already done is illegal, though not a single one of them could name an illegal act. What do you think? The Democrat senators, those Democrat members of Congress, what were they trying to do and how concerned are you by their conduct?
Congressman Glenn Grothman
They want to get out in front and make sure we don't enforce our immigration laws. It's that simple. We've got a situation about four times as many people every year are becoming new citizens compared to when you and I were children. I mean, way more people becoming citizens legally. But the Democrat Party, and this is a sign, they want to destroy America. They want our immigration laws not enforced and they want to make sure that our National Guard, whatever, does not enforce them. The problem goes beyond just these few politicians. It goes to governors, it goes to mayors, all the people with sanctuary cities saying we want to do all we can to encourage illegal immigration in this country. That is what this is about. And again, if the Democrats take over again, go back to this idea of 2, 3 million dollars or 3 million people a year crossing the border, it's end of the United States. But again, look at all the high profile Democrats, in essence saying we do not want our immigration laws enforced. It would be the end of America. And don't let anybody tell you that we have to let more people in this country. Every year in this country, about 850,000 people are legally sworn in as new citizens.
John Solomon
So real quickly, mark the Pentagon's decision to look at Senator Kelly, a former military man under the military code. Your thoughts on that?
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Well, I think it's entirely appropriate. I mean, he is probably breaking the law and we've got to do something to stop every Democrat, be it a former military person or not. So many Democrats doing all they can to make sure immigration laws are not enforced. And that is what Senator Kelly is about. Right. That's what it comes down to. What are we going to do when we have, you know, so many sitting Democrats trying to have our immigration laws unenforced?
John Solomon
Pretty extraordinary moment in history. One thing I do know, you intend on making sure they're enforced. That's one of the good things why people in Wisconsin are so proud to call you their congressman. Congressman Glenn Grothman, great to have you on the show today. Thank you so much.
Congressman Glenn Grothman
Thank you very much.
John Solomon
Yeah. What a great conversation as always. All right, folks, we're gonna take a quick commercial break. When we come back, that U.S. district Judge dismissed those indictments again against James Comey and Letitia James. Welcome back everybody. As I know you have heard and as John was talking at the top of the show, U.S. district Judge appointed by former President Bill Clinton has dismissed those indictments against James Comey And Letitia James finding that the prosecutor, Lindsay Halligan, was not lawfully appointed. Is that something that has ever happened before? Well, that's exactly what happened. Earlier today, allegations of false statements and bank fraud were dismissed, not necessarily because of the merits of the case, but because of a rarely seen procedural issue. So here to discuss that further, retired FBI Executive assistant director and the author of the book that Wanted the FBI. I once knew one of our favorites over here at Just the News Credit Pihota. Chris, thanks so much for being here.
Spinquest Advertiser
Hey, pleasure, Amanda. How are you today?
Amanda Head
We are great. Happy early Thanksgiving to you. As we were discussing before we came into this segment, these dismissals no doubt will be appealed. It will ultimately end up at the Supreme Court, which kind of seems like a well worn pathway for so much that's happening in the judicial system. Should we consider increasing the pay of our Supreme Court justices? Because it sure seems like they're earning it these days.
Spinquest Advertiser
Yeah, I think the Supreme Court has become the final stopping point for most everything in our new environment of lawfare and our new environment of litigation against the current administration.
John Solomon
So, Chris, you've looked at cases, you've done public corruption cases, the two cases that were brought against Letitia James and James Comey. When you look at the evidence, how would you rate the quality of the evidence? Forget the politics for a second. And obviously politics are a big part of everything in Washington. But were these cases solid predicates?
Spinquest Advertiser
The cases were solid. I mean, the circumstances are what they are. I think what we had was a little bit of expediency on the DOJ part to meet some statute of limitation deadlines. And it may have resulted in some, you know, some process shortfalls or maybe some procedural shortfalls that ultimately added to this, the Court's skepticism. But the cases themselves are what they are. I think it was the presentation to the courts where we ran into some trouble.
Amanda Head
The notion that Lindsay Halligan was not appointed lawfully. What process should have happened, what are they alleging should have happened in order for that to be lawful?
Spinquest Advertiser
What you're looking at is the, the confirmation of the. Well, first of all, the appointment by the President and then the confirmation by the Senate. Right. I mean, that's as baseline as it gets. And I think what they found was that her appointment by the Attorney General and her lack of experience and, you know, her background were not commensurate with that of a career prosecutor. And they've. And the Court, again, skepticism in the court. They felt it was maybe more of a manufactured situation than an Actual set of charges brought by a career prosecutor under standard procedure.
John Solomon
Yeah. So as this works its way up the chain, the President runs the executive branch. The President made a decision to make an acting U.S. attorney, and then you have to wait for the Senate for confirmation. The judicial branch has never been given the job before of looking at the credentials of someone normally that's normally not in the judicial review process for a U.S. attorney. In this case, the judge kind of signaled things last week, basically calling Lindsey Halligan in open court a puppet and trying to get Comey's lawyers to agree. Comey's lawyer said, oh, we wouldn't go there, you, Honor. So even they weren't willing to go where the judge was going. Is this the purview of a judge to look at a prosecutor's credentials, or is this something for Congress and the executive branch to sort out?
Spinquest Advertiser
I think a judge can certainly, in a professional, objective manner, speak with the Department of Justice about any doubt or shortfall in confidence in somebody's credentials. But I find that more and more judges are becoming activists from the bench. They're not remaining objective and impartial, at least in some of their private and personal and public discussions. And I think it's a bad trend. And this individual judge who made some of These comments about Ms. Halligan, regardless of her stated professional background, I think were a bit inappropriate.
Amanda Head
So, Chris, if we follow Judge Curry's logic, it seems to me that any indictment brought BY an interim U.S. attorney can now be dismissed. But is that the case in the past? Is this something that has precedent?
John Solomon
It.
Spinquest Advertiser
Well, I, I think we, we've seen it in the past. It's very, very seldom used where the credentials or the credibility of the charging official has been impeached or impugned like, like it has been with, with Ms. Halligan. And I think we also, Alina Haba ran into this same argument in the State of New Jersey regarding her status and her standing as the, you know, interim U.S. attorney there. So I, I think what we're finding is, is that some of these more maybe left leaning judges are going to start using some of these procedural issues to step into and interdict certain acts by the administration that they may not favor. It's a bad trend starting.
John Solomon
So I want to turn to something that you've spent a big part of your career fighting, Islamist terrorism today, something that's been talked about at least for a decade that I can remember as a reporter going back to the mid 2010s. President Trump actually did. He signed an executive Order identifying certain branches of the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations, unleashing the full power of the Treasury Department, War Department, others to fight them. How big a moment was this and how bad a group is the Muslim Brotherhood when you talk about destabilizing the world?
Spinquest Advertiser
Well, if you're looking at the Muslim Brotherhood, they are an umbrella organization that many of the current terrorist groups are part of. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood itself has never been designated as a terrorist group on its own because it has a lot of membership countries and Islamic societies that are not violent. But most of the terror groups that we see today are part of the Muslim Brotherhood. They are more extreme part of that community. And today's decision to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror umbrella group is. Is a major win for the law enforcement, intelligence and military communities in combating acts of terrorism. Terrorism, excuse me. And trying to interdict worldwide networks of support, logistics and military action by the terrorist group. So it was. It was a great victory for the United States in its security partners.
Amanda Head
So, Chris, I want to ask you about the FBI's responsibility in now looking at the Muslim or these branches of Muslim Brotherhood under this new designation. Does it contract the work of the FBI because it clarifies and codifies the mission when it comes to that, or does it increase the work because now there are all these new tools? With the new designation, it actually increases.
Spinquest Advertiser
The scope of the mission activity that the FBI has. The FBI right now looks at specific groups of Islamic or any other terrorist outfit. By looking at the Muslim Brotherhood now, you've opened up a much broader operating environment where greater investigative work has to be done to characterize and clarify that environment, where before the FBI wasn't allowed under its authorities to look at the Muslim Brotherhood in that way, and working with its partners and treasury and DHS and other organizations across the community, law enforcement and intelligence, they've got a lot more work cut out for them now. Where before they weren't able to look at these groups in that fashion.
John Solomon
Important stuff. Before we go, Chris, I want to just get a sense of where we are in the fight against weaponization. Your book, I think, is a roadmap for anyone who wants to fix the FBI, the Justice Department, the legal system. There's been a lot more investigation, a lot more documents. Are you shocked at just how much politicization had creeped into the agency you once served?
Spinquest Advertiser
It's disappointing, but not surprising given the past so many years of, I would say, more ideologically driven leadership. It's not surprising. What I find, though, is that there are still elements both at the Department of Justice and FBI and other agencies across the government where you have people who are sympathetic to the previous administration's ideologies. They're still in place. And I think that we might have a little bit of insurgency left to root out and to, I guess you can say, counter inside the government to make sure that we're not allowing certain things to fall by the wayside, certain processes to be slowed down. And again, looking at procedural shortfalls as a means of resisting the current administration's wishes. So they've got their work cut out for them. And I really hope that they are putting leaders in place who can either recruit people back into the right thing to do or help excuse people from the government channels who no longer want to work for the mission of the government.
Amanda Head

Thanks for having me.
John Solomon
All right, so we got a failing Chicago public school system and its administrators and teachers are out spending millions going on travel, kind of taking those junkets that we all got to know in Washington. Your thoughts about what this says to the people of Chicago?
Podcast Host
Well, the travel spending at Chicago Public schools went from 3.6 million to over 7 and a half million dollars a year, including safaris and hot air balloon rides and hotel rooms. Over $400 blowing past any caps that were in place. No accountability. And this is as they have entire schools that have no students with proficiency in them. So it's no wonder that Chicago Public Schools is spending over $20,000 per student still without getting the outcomes that those families deserve. It's absolutely outrageous.
Amanda Head
U.S. erica, were there not cost caps or some type of guard rails for these district leaders when it comes to these expenditures? $400 for a hotel room is insane.
Podcast Host
There were in fact caps. But this shows the deeper issue. It's the fox guarding the hen house, right? You have union members who are out spending on this travel blowing past those caps. And you have former union members, in many cases school board members like they were when I was on the school board that are supposed to be holding their friends accountable. Instead, taxpayers are the ones left on the hook because the union members and their former allies are negotiating with one another with taxpayers money and supposedly holding one another accountable. When we see from this explosion of expenses that is not taking place, you.
John Solomon
Brought up a really important alliance and that is the alliance between the administrators and the teachers unions. Teachers unions have driven so much of the woke agenda and so much of the frustration that parents have when they show up at a school board meeting. Has there been any progress in de radicalizing or deemphasizing the teacher union's influence over so much that happens in the education system?
Podcast Host
Well, in some states like in Florida, where we pass paycheck protection, where districts can no longer use taxpayer funds to subsidize the deduction of union dues out of teachers paychecks, unions have to go directly to those teachers just like every other vendor and get the money. And that is putting decertification on the table for some of these unions in the counties in Florida. We want to see more states Pass paycheck protection. We also, of course, in dismantling the federal Department of Education, are taking a big chip off the table for the unions because they have been using that for decades now to exert federal control by the unions to local states and school districts.
Amanda Head
So, Erica, we've, we've had you on many times, and I love that you are such an advocate of school choice. And I have a feeling that there are going to be public schools out there that are forced to make some tough decisions lately. Because when you have a competitive market and you have so many options out there, you have failing teachers, you have failing test grades, you have failing district leaders all failing up and down the spectrum, then that's going to drive people elsewhere. Do you anticipate that those hard decisions will be made in the interest of the students at the public schools, will get better, or will they just fall?
Podcast Host
Well, we're certainly seeing that competitive pressure in places where school choice is enacted. And polling now, we just received some new polling where over 80% of both Democrats and Republicans support a parent's ability to make decisions about where and how their children are educated. This is now an 8020 issue with the federal tax credit scholarship coming online in 2020, which should be available in all 50 states. If governors agree that's private money, that's going to allow parents to be able to choose where their children go to school, whether that be homeschool, private school, charter school, et cetera. So I think more and more of these options are going to put pressure on the public schools to retain students and therefore funding, but they're going to continue to fight it tooth and nail, especially where the teachers unions are so strong, including the city of Chicago.
John Solomon
Real quick, we got about 30 seconds. Erica, I just want to ask about the plan to dismantle the Education Department. They delivered it. President Trump, Secretary McMahon delivered your thoughts on what it looks like?
iHeart Advertising Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host
According to the Wall street journal, Secretary McMahon, the most effective Cabinet secretary, she's down to less than half of the number of employees since she took over, including all these interagency agreements that are offloading a lot of the responsibilities that belong elsewhere in her mission to dismantle the Department of Education, put herself out of a job. I think she's doing an amazing job. President Trump is happy. The American people are happy returning education.
John Solomon

You know, this is a personal passion of mine and that is to make sure that nobody loses their house to a home title theft scammer. A lot of people are. And it isn't just homes. It was a baseball stadium once. It was Graceland. The improbable home or the extraordinary home of Elvis Presley. We have a new story to tell you about. This one was a church. Yes. Some scammer stole a church from a pastor. We're going to get you that story with our good friend. She's a consumer protection advocate at home Tadaloc, our partners here. And she is Natalie Dominguez. Natalie, it's always great to have you on the show. Although I have to admit this story out of Dallas makes me kind of sad.
iHeart Advertising Representative
It's very, very sad. I mean, especially, I'm not sure if we have any of the footage to show. But for those of you who are getting a little caught up, a Pastor and his congregation were outside of the church for a little bit for some, some updates to the church and some renovation. And in that very short amount of time, a different pastor, who I will refer to now as the criminal, actually went in and took the church over and moved his congregation into the church. So I don't know personally for me, I don't know what kind of pastor that is, but we're. That steals from another pastor. Doesn't sound like a very good pastor to me.
John Solomon
Sounds like there's a judge up above that might be pretty harsh on this one. It's so amazing, but it's so simple to do. I mean, that's what this case shows, which is that, you know, a pastor could pull it off a guy sitting on his couch or had a wi fi at a coffee shop. A criminal overseas. It's not that hard in the digital era to pull this off, is it?
iHeart Advertising Representative
No, absolutely not. And a lot of the times, I mean, we see it being, you know, it can definitely be strangers, but family members, caretakers, people in the industry, I know at one point we've covered the director of the nonprofit that took advantage of their constituents. The thing is, with this crime, because it's white collar and because it's something that happens so easily under your nose, it could literally be anyone walking past you in the street, anyone.
John Solomon
And it may take them a short period of time to pull off the scam. If your victim demise and you find out months later, you lost your home, you lost your equity, your time is going to be months or years before this is resolved. Right. This is a long resolution once you become a victim.
iHeart Advertising Representative
Absolutely. I mean, I know, you know, there are some people that say, oh, well, my county has their own notification service. Right. And it's true there's a little bit less than 10% of the counties in the US which is not that much, that do have some of their own notification system in place. But what's going to happen is, let's say that you're a homeowner and this happens to you, and you do get a notification system from the county. You're going to walk into the county and go, hey, this wasn't me. We talk about this all the time, right? And they're not just going to go rip up something that's been legally recorded. Their job is to record, not to authenticate. Once it's on the record, the only recourse you have as a homeowner is to go and hire a lawyer and get the scene before a judge. And this is exactly what happens when in the situation with this pastor. Right. This pastor literally talked about in an interview with the news that he did not have the resources to be able to pursue this and get the criminal kicked out and the congregation kicked out. And because it was all legally on record and he didn't have the recourse to go and get this taken care of and the funds it has now been. This was in 2017. It's now eight years later years that criminal had done it to three other churches, is now in prison for it. But the original pastor still does not have the church back because it's a completely separate process.
John Solomon
It's hard to hear that, but it is, it is very real. And that's the reality we all live in in this digital scam era that we all are. And everything's sending us links. Everybody's trying to steal your home title lock or your home title really quickly. And if you don't have it locked down, it's a big. A big issue. All right, so I want to turn to the solution because over the last month we've highlighted some big cases. We had the case in Detroit, I think 30 victims with a nonprofit out there. Then hundreds in.
iHeart Advertising Representative
Oh, yes, sorry, the nonprofit.
John Solomon
Yeah, yeah. And then Arizona, I think several hundred victims. I think when we're all done with that case, the scale and scope is speeding up. And once you're in this dragnet of, of a fraudster, you get a long haul in front of you. Also, you may not be able to find a lawyer that specializes this. What makes home title lock so remarkable is you do this for a living. You know, every trick of the trade to get someone's house back. And that's where that triple lock protection becomes so valuable, Right?
iHeart Advertising Representative
Absolutely. So we're, you know, our triple lock protection is 247 monitoring urgent alerts and then restoration. I always love to focus on the restoration because we're the only company that does this. We were the primary company to ever start monitoring in the first place. There are a couple companies that will say, hey, we have it as an add on or something. But again, you're stuck at the same place this past would be. They're going to tell you, go hire a lawyer. There's nothing we can do. The way that home title lock was built and founded was for the victims. We're not just monitoring alerts. That's just step one. The real thing that you bank on here is the restoration. Is that the moment that you call us and you say, hey, this looks a little Funky. I don't think I did this. We're going to step in, we're going to take over the whole process. We walk you through, you know, doing a police report if that hasn't been done. And then we take over all of the legal aspect of things. And we have a network of legal experts that we have cultivated across the US because every state is different, every municipality has different rules and ways you need to go about the, this, you know, we take all of the pressure off the homeowner, both emotion like emotionally time wise and financially. So let's talk about the pastor again. Hypothetically, if he had home title lock, not only would he have found out about this paperwork problem before just walking into a congregation that was in his church, but immediately we would have taken over the process and gotten everything fixed and fixed the fraud and he would have his church back. And it wouldn't have been eight years later still without a church.
John Solomon
Such an amazing story. There are so many myths about this. So let me just go through a couple of the myths that I've heard people say since I started doing these segments a few years ago. I've got title, title insurance. I'm okay. Title insurance doesn't cover this, does it?
iHeart Advertising Representative
Title insurance? No, there, there are very, very rare instances where you get a very, very expensive, expensive homeowner policy. But again, super rare, your average homeowner insurance. What it does is as a buyer, it guarantees a clean title. So you might be covered if you purchased a home from a scammer that, that might cover you. But as the victim of this crime, it absolutely does not cover you at all.
John Solomon
We touched on one of them, which is, oh, my county has alert, I'll find out about it. But you might find out about it for them. But you've got no recourse from the county. They're not going to help you after they alert you. Right?
iHeart Advertising Representative
No recourse. And let's be real, when we talk about, you know, government things, you ever been to a dmv? You know, slow everything is great. Example of this was last year, I believe in Shelby County, Tennessee where they have an alert system. This is where the Graceland thing happened and there was a glitch in the system and it ended up sending out notifications to every homeowner who signed up for wrong property properties that weren't even theirs. So we know, we know that these, these things aren't super, super good to rely on. And then, you know, just additionally the, a lot of these times that you have to opt in for Them as well. They're not automatic.
John Solomon
Yeah, and I'll take one more of the the force false lore out there. Cops are going to. Don't worry, I'll report to the cops. I'll get my house back like they. When they return my car when it's stolen. That's not how the cops work on this, right?
iHeart Advertising Representative
Absolutely not. So you can again you can see the this from the example we just talked about. So if you are in a state where this is something that even can be criminally prosecuted, which often that is not the case. New York last year just passed a law for New York City making this something that is counted as grand larceny in most states. It is simply a civil matter. So if you can prove the fraud, the burden is completely on you. The most thing that you do is you file the police report and then the rest is all in the home owner. You have to go through a civil process. You have to prove that it was fraud in the first place. It's a very long, tedious, expensive process to handle. And let's say hypothetically, this criminal took out a loan against your house and the bank's coming after you. Do you think that you're going to have a better lawyer than let's say a bank or a development company?
John Solomon
Not unless you're spending a lot of money. No. You can't tap your equity because that's already been stolen. So. Well, that's what makes home title lock and it's triple lock protection. So great you're willing to spend up to a million bucks to help someone like us get our home back. That's an amazing thing. Natalie Dominguez I love this partnership. I love the ability to tell people how bad this crime is and how they can protect theirselves. Thanks for joining us. You're such a good friend.

Amanda Head
Welcome back, everybody. Our final segment of the show. And John, I want to get your take on something, a story that was over on just the news.com about this. I mean, almost seemingly historic numbers of folks who are resigning from Congress, more Republicans than Democrats. I think it's what, 23 Republicans in the House, House, 16 Democrats in the House, and then four and four for Republicans and Democrats in the Senate. I think the Senate is likely still secure for Republicans, but on the House side, this makes things a little wonky heading into midterms.
John Solomon
Yeah, listen, I don't think we're done. I think you could see 30, 35 Republicans ultimately hanging up before it is. I think you're going to see people frustrated because they can't appropriate more budget deficits, want to step out. I think some of the appropriators are frustrated. It the American people were serious about what they wanted done and they haven't seen enough of it from Congress. And I think the pressure from the president on Congress is beginning to make more and more people chafe, particularly those who want the status quo when that's not what the American public voted for. So I would not be surprised. Marjorie Taylor Greene falls into a different category, but it would not be surprising to me to see some of the more traditional Republicans bail out and tap out in the next month or two.
Elevate Health Advertiser
Yeah.
Amanda Head
All right. I want to hit on California and some really, really devastating Democrat policies. John, as you know, electricity and gas prices in that state are absolutely through the roof. And you've got a pipeline, the San Pablo Bay pipeline, that is risking shutting down, which would be absolutely devastating to the state. Meanwhile, earlier this month, Gavin Newsom scoots off to Brazil. People in his state are suffering, and yet he, he is still, I mean, he is full bore ahead when it comes to green energy, even though you've got these major facilities in his state that could really alleviate the prices in that state. And he's not even worried about them getting close to shutting down.
John Solomon
He's never been worried about the consumers in California and what comes out of their wallet. I mean, you pay, as you know, because you live in California, an enormous penalty for the policies that Newsom and his team and Democrats in California have imposed. And what they're so disconnected from is the dinner table. They don't understand that paying $5 gas or paying electric rates to go up 10% a year, 12% a year isn't affordable when you're in the working class or you're in the middle class, and they don't care. Their elitist view of the world allows them to just keep pursuing these policies, regardless of their impact on everyday mom and pop. And meanwhile, they're fine letting China open up 10, 20 new coal power plants a year, polluting more than we could ever save in our pollution fight. So it's not only full of hypocrisy, it's full of insensitivity. They don't care about the people they purport to represent.
Amanda Head
All right, I want to move to a couple different China topics, one of which is this new Arctic discovery. It is off the Seward Peninsula, off of Alaska. So this is US Territory. These are our resources. It can deal a major, major blow to Chinese dominance when it comes to rare earth minerals. John, President Trump just had a conversation with President Xi Jinping. And I know that this was likely something they discussed. I'm sure they discussed tariffs, they discussed Taiwan and Ukraine, but maybe a little bit tense when it comes to rare minerals, because we know that's something that Xi Jinping has been using to. To kind of put his knee on the necks of other countries.
John Solomon
Yeah. She has used rare minerals like Putin uses gas in Eastern Europe as a political geopolitical weapon. And President Trump, in just a few short months, has freed America from that monopolization. First with the deals on the Asia trip, all of those places that opened up. And now with this find in Alaska and also the mining reforms that Elise Zeldin's doing, we're going to be able to mine rare earths on America before President Trump leaves office. Something that wasn't thinkable during the Biden eras. That is a national security issue. It isn't just an economic issue. And I think that that's why these big developments the last few months are so ground changing. And China is a little nervous right now.
Amanda Head
I think so, too. As they should be. John, before we go, the first lady received the Christmas tree at the White House this morning, and she wore an adorable pair of plaid Manolos. Do you have any idea what that is?
John Solomon
I have no idea. Sorry. That's what I challenge once again.
Amanda Head
All right, I'll send you a picture. All right, everybody, thanks so much for being here with us on this Monday. We will be back here at 6pM Eastern tomorrow night. Have a great evening.

This episode underscores the hosts’ central themes: skepticism toward government and media institutions, valorization of bold executive action (especially Trump’s), wariness about socialism and immigration, and advocacy for parent choice in education. The guest interviews add expert insight and first-hand accounts to these positions, while real-life stories about church theft and legal fights highlight the consequences of institutional failures and digital-era crime.
Listeners come away with a sense of urgency about political, social, and economic threats framed as imminent and escalating—reinforced by memorable sound-bites, vivid examples, and a blend of investigative detail and partisan rhetoric.
