But one thing I learned from there, and it was really, really great to see most of the people there, we had so many listeners, viewers, fans from our show coming over and saying, hey, man, is. Is, Is Damon really that cranky? What's going on with him? And is, Is Delgado really into UFOs? I'm like, yeah, yeah. He lives and breathes that Slick. Can you take a video or. Slick getting dressed in the morning? I'm like, well, I don't know if it'll let me do that. But these are the things everybody wanted to know about folks on the show. It was great. I. I enjoyed every minute of it, as you know.

And all sorts of other things. And it was really funny because there were some big names there at cpac, and one by one, people are coming up and like, you know, hey, Vinnie Mac. Oh, I love 6B. Tell Rick I said hi. Tell Slick this, tell Delgado that. And, you know, it was. It was. It was great to hear because there were so many of them. And, you know, Bannon was there, bowling was there, the morning show. And, you know, we were. We were quite represented, I have to tell you.

And he is a little tired, you know, I said, how are you doing? Four hours sleep. You know, that was Harry. But he. He did a great job. He's such a great guy.

A great job. I mean, it was great coverage all three days. Yeah. I thought CPAC really went heavy into Sunday, but I guess with the president not there, I didn't. They didn't do the big Sunday thing because normally that's when Trump speaks. And the place is wild, obviously, so. But obviously, with Saturday Vice president not there, Saturday was pretty much a wrap, so. All right, very good. Vinnie Mac will have some news. Look, we'll get to sports. So I didn't know where to start tonight because. I don't know, I just didn't know because the president signed his executive order, which seems like a pretty. Which seems like a doozy, quite frankly, and a great idea. Yeah. So we could get to that. But the thing that I think I took the most from his time in the Oval Office today, taking questions, is when he said that he may go to the Supreme Court himself tomorrow to hear the arguments on birthright citizenship. And I thought to myself, boy, that's a great idea. And I think it is a great idea. Honestly, I wish it could be televised. I wish we could do more than just hear it. Normally you can hear these arguments. There is an audio stream, but there's never, obviously any video. And it's too bad, because I think if you're into kind of all this stuff, like I am on a most basic level, because I'm not smart enough to really understand all of it and the way the constitutional scholars do. But I'm into how it all works and the thinking of these nine people. And for the President of the United States to say, I may go down there because that's how important it is, and, you know, maybe listen, you know, him sitting there, I don't know that it. I don't know that it makes any of them think differently about it. But the President has some very strong feelings on birthright citizenship. So I had written this a long time ago on birthright citizenship, and we just never got to the debate. But since the President's going to go there tomorrow and they're going to talk about this, I thought I'd go over some of this the ongoing debate surrounding birthright citizenship and the 14th amendment has sparked passionate discussions across legal, political, and academic circles. Advocates of birthright citizenship often assert that the Constitution unequivocally grants citizenship to anyone born on US soil. However, a closer reading of the 14th Amendment, combined with historical context and legislative intent, reveals that this interpretation is not only flawed, but also unsupported by constitutional text and precedent. At the heart of the debate is the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, which reads, quote, all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. While the phrase born and naturalized in the United States is often emphasized by proponents of automatic birthright citizenship, the critical qualifying language is subject to the jurisdiction thereof. And that, of course, is frequently overlooked or misinterpreted. The key issue here is jurisdiction, and it has little to do with mere geography. Rather than a blanket inclusion of everyone born on US soil, jurisdiction as understood by the framers of the 14th amendment refers to complete political allegiance to the United States. The 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868, was born out of the post Civil War Reconstruction era. Its primary goal was to ensure that newly emancipated black Americans were granted full citizenship, countering Southern states refusal to recognize their legal status. Nowhere in the legislative debates surrounding its adoption was immigration, legal or illegal, a consideration. Nor was the idea of conferring citizenship to the children of foreign nationals. This was further reinforced by the 1866 Civil Rights act, the precursor to the 14th Amendment, which explicitly stated that, quote, all persons born in the United States and not subject to any foreign Power excluding Indians not taxed are hereby declared to be citizens of the United States. The intent here is unambiguous. For someone to be a citizen, they must not owe allegiance to a foreign sovereign. Native Americans living with tribal nations, despite being born on US Soil were explicitly excluded because their allegiance was to their own tribes. This exclusion underscores the Framers understanding of jurisdiction as political loyalty rather than territorial presence. Contrary to popular belief, the Supreme Court has never ruled that the children of illegal immigrants are automatically granted citizenship under the 14th Amendment. The case most often cited by proponents, United States vs Wong Kim Ark, addressed the citizenship of a child born to legal permanent residents, not to those in the country illegally. Even in that case, the ruling was rooted in the unique circumstances of lawful settled immigrants, not individuals subject to partial or temporary jurisdiction with no allegiance to the United States. Supporters often misread the nine non binding commentary from earlier cases like the Slaughterhouse Cases 1873. However, both the majority and dissent in these cases emphasize that the 14th Amendment's citizenship clause was designed to recognize the rights of free slaves, not to establish birthright citizenship for children of foreign nationals. Integral to our US Constitutional framework is the principle of consent based governance. The idea that individuals can unilaterally impose citizenship upon a country without the consent of its people or its representatives flies in the face of this principle. Those who argue that the children of illegal immigrants are automatically entitled to citizenship overlooked this foundational concept. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 of the Constitution grants Congress the authority to establish rules for naturalization. This process underscores that citizenship is not an automatic right, but a privilege granted under specific terms and conditions. Allowing the executive branch's inconsistent enforcement of immigration policies to dictate an interpretation of the 14th Amendment undermines the legislative intent and the exclusive powers granted to Congress. That's just a little bit of. It's just a lot more. But you know, this is going to be a big one and the President decides there tomorrow that he's going to go and listen to this. And I just, I would find it almost impossible to come to any other ruling from these jurors, from the jurists on the Supreme Court than the one that I am outlining here. Vin, what's your thought?

Yeah, I completely agree with you. And it's one of those things where it's typical of how rulings or laws or things in the Constitution that go back to the 1800s or early 1900s get misconstrued into the narrative of today when they were intended for a specific reason. I mean, think of all the bad behavior that this birthright citizenship has created. You're eight months pregnant, you want to, you know, you want to leave your country and become a citizen of this country. Well, you have a kid here, your kid becomes a citizen. Therefore you're there and you can't leave. And then the process all goes from there. Especially we see that happen a lot with people coming from South America. So they've just, they've figured out ways to cheat the system, which is why this, having this thing not clear, having the Supreme Court now finally ruling on it, which hopefully they rule properly. This was made for a specific order reason. Slavery had been abolished. They were not considered citizens at that time. They gave them citizenship and they made sure that their children became citizens. I mean, it was, it's a pretty clear cut law that was made for a specific purpose. And I expect at least five jurors to get this right. I'm definitely going to see, you know, the ones that we always see that are on the lunatic side that are going to rule against this. But I think we'll get at least five. I'm hoping we do. We need to clean this up if we're going to clean up immigration. This is one of the big pieces.

I, I, this is why I love Trump, because if, if you're a business guy, you're running a huge company and there's a major case about your company, you're going to court to see it. That's what I love about Trump. He's hands on, he's in there, he's going to the court and he's, I don't know if he's thinking he's gonna put pressure on the jurors. I don't think that's the case. But I think him going there as a president shows how important this issue really is for our country. So, yeah, I love the fact that he's going and I like all the stuff that he does. He shows up to things. Great, great, great president.

So we'll get to Vin and his news in a second. Delgado, any opening, anything you want to say before I get to sports on the birthright citizenship?

Yeah, I mean, if you've been following some of this stuff, Greg Jarrett over at F writes some great stuff about this. And again, he points to what you were talking about in that article, the subject to the jurisdiction thereof into the 14th amendment. And what does it mean? He points out that the allegiance, like you said, to the United States versus the mere act of setting foot on US Soil doesn't constitute allegiance, especially in the millions of illegals that we've seen because they don't pay taxes, they don't file tax returns, they don't really do anything that contributes to society. You know, they didn't obtain Social Security card. They're not here legally. So of course we don't know the allegiance, so how can you. And plus, they've also identified people who fly in specifically to have a baby, and then they fly back out and think, hey, now my kid's a US Citizen and they can stay. So you've got this citizenship tourism, they call it, which is something that needs to be stopped as well. When people come here specifically in their last trimester, towards the end of a pregnancy to have a child in the United States and therefore think they're going to be granted automatic citizenship for their child, and therefore they can, they can gain entry and stay as well.

Well, that's one of the other. I didn't get to this part, but I said consider the words of Senator Lyman Trumbull, a key figure in drafting the 14th amendment. During the debates, Trumbull made it clear that subject to the jurisdiction meant complete jurisdiction, not where no allegiance was owed to any power. So in just to your point, think about British tourists who would come to the United States, for example, are subject to the laws while they're here, meaning they follow the traffic regulations and other territorial laws, but they remain subjects of the United Kingdom, not political participants in the US System. The idea that they could just come here with temporaries on temporary status and somehow get conferred voting rights, jury service or citizenship is, is crazy. And if you're, and if you're in the country unlawfully, it would be the same exact thing. Just because your physical presence is here does not and should not equate to full, you know, full political jurisdiction or allegiance. So that's kind of the point.

But you would hope it wouldn't, and you would hope it wouldn't be negative. So I, I really have. I, I don't know if that's a great idea or not, but it, it is something. I don't think we've ever seen a president do this.

Woods released the statement after entering a plea of not guilty, waiving his arraignment and demanding a trial for a jury on Tuesday. Tiger Woods. Hopefully he can get himself cleaned up. He's, you know, really gone down a rough path. I don't know. This is the third time now, right, when he's had an issue amongst, I'm sure, others, but. And apparently there was a report that the police had found a couple of white pills, actually two white pills to be exact, that were in his. In his pocket.

I do have sort of a little rant here. Something that kind of bothered me. And it started actually in cpac. You know, in cpac, the Zed master got up and actually got on TV during one of the segments and started talking about how all of us, you know, from Bolling to Bannon to 6B to Sitchfield, everybody, we all report on things that we view important. We don't have. We have producers and people like that. We don't have these news directors that are telling us what to say. What we say is what we want to say, which is quite unique in the business. And I wanted to point that out, because as I'm watching the coverage today, I wake up this morning, I turn. I turn on the news, I flip around to as many channels as I can because I like to see how everybody's covering things. And we had the big, big Big, big explosions going on, the missiles and so on. Breaking up these bunkers that have the nuclear, apparently some nuclear dust in there or whatever out of Iran. That's probably the biggest story you have. And then some other nonsense about, about Trump with secondhand information, usually so on and so forth. So the news directors on most of these networks, they actually drive the content that the anchors talk about. We get on all the anchors, you know, cases, especially these liberal ones, and we don't like them. And I know for good reason. But think about the news directors, the people behind them, they're actually feeding the teleprompter and giving them what to say. They're writing the stories all day, they're preparing the news and they're preparing the type of coverage that they want to talk about. So what did they do? They had two choices. The major bombing in Iran, taking that war, taking it to the Iranians even more, or some secondhand half baked story about Trump. And what they cover, the secondhand half baked coverage of Trump. I saw that on network after network after network, and it's amazing to me that we are in a war and that's the coverage they chose. And then as I think back of what the Zen master said at cpac, I was like, you know what? It's just another thing that makes us so unique because we're sort of like podcasters in a sense. We get on and we talk about what we want to talk about and how we feel about issues. And people either like that or they don't like that. But no one's in our ear telling us, no, you need to cover this story, not that one, that is not happening. But the rest of the news organizations out there work just the opposite. They have news directors that pump that in. So when you get upset about the coverage from these liberal networks, msnbc, cnn, all the crazies that are out there, remember the people behind them are feeding that content into it. And this morning was just another glaring example of how outrageous that is when there's a major bombing going on in Iran, trying to settle this thing and then some stupid story about nonsense that's not even verified, you know, is what they choose to cover. So I just thought it was worth pointing out. It got me into a little bit of a rant, but it also, you know, makes me feel really, really good about being a part of this network, which I obviously did at cpac, because I know I speak for everybody here. We come up with our stuff and so does every other host on this network. We're sincere.

All right. Well, Damon, the Iran war update, your daily update as more key US allies are attempting to block military flights as Iran's war rift widens with President Trump. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has called out the Royal Navy while Trump told European allies to build up some delayed courage and secure the Strait of Hormuz for themselves. And this was something we had touched upon yesterday as more key allies, like I said, are restricting the US Military's access as the Trump administration presses ahead with its war against Iran. With both now France and Spain moving to block US Linked aircraft from using their airspace or bases. France has refused over flight for planes carrying US Military supplies to Israel, according to President Trump, making a rail disruption to routine military coordination between Washington and key European air allies. Their refusals carry operational weight because US Bases in Europe are essential for supporting Middle east operations, acting as critical staging and transit hubs for military aircraft. And as a matter of fact, President Trump even put out a truth directed at all these countries and it reads something like this. All of those countries that can't get jet fuel because the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran. I have a suggestion for you. Number one, buy from the U.S. we have plenty. And number two, build up some delayed courage, go to the strait and just take it. You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself. The USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us. Iran has been essentially decimated. The hard part is done, get your own oil. President Trump and you know, pretty harsh statement from the president, but one, you know, let's face it, when it comes to finding out who your friends are, you find out in times like this and he's finding out that the people that depend on us for their defense against everything related to Russia, well, they seem to have their panties on a little too tight to get involved with this when it comes to Iran.

Well, I said this last night and I meant it and I thought about it more today. The, the whole America, you know, America first crowd, anti war America first crowd who's all upset at Trump that he said he wouldn't do this, took us to war, all this, you know, all America first. America first. Now that I mean, I wonder what they think of this move. The president basically saying, hey, we don't need the straight open for us because we have our own. So I'm just thinking about us so the rest of you can go, you know, pound sand and if you need it, yeah, go figure it out for yourself. So I wonder what the anti war, he should only be focused on America think of, of this move. Vin.

Yeah, yeah, I agree with that. And by the way, I heard a lot of mixed things obviously about the Iran more at cpac. Here's my view of it. Use those bases anyhow. Go try and shoot us down. We're coming in, we're landing there and we're taking off. What are you going to do about it? We're going to use those bases anyhow. And I agree with Trump, like we have the ability to be totally self sufficient in our own oil. We don't need anybody else. So we can go do that. Screw you. We're trying to protect the rest of the world and we have interest in making sure the rest of the world gets oil. Let's not be foolish here. But Trump's right. This is like saying screw you. But if I were Trump, I just use those bases anyhow. I'd use that airspace anyhow. Screw you. What do you do? You're trying to shoot us down. Go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, give it a shot.

And again, when you talk about the US being self sufficient, this guy on, on X, Tim Pool did a great, great segment on this a couple days ago from this guy, 10 Delta. You can check out my X and check it out for yourself. I put the link up there from Tim pool and this 10 Delta guy breaking down this whole Middle east conflict. It's a, it's a long read. But it's interesting how, you know, again they go through, and they take you through the steps of how President Trump is securing, you know, the America first agenda with energy when it comes to taking control of the oil, coming out of Venezuela, looking to do the same, coming out of Iran and basically making sure that we're self sufficient and that the Petrodollar is stronger than ever. So we'll see what happens with that. Here is Secretary Hegseth talking about the war efforts going on with Iran and dealing with the question regarding troops on the ground. Here is cut number one. Secretary Hegseth, check this out.

We're not going to foreclose any option. You can't fight and win a war if you tell your adversary what you are willing to do or what you are not willing to do to include boots on the ground. Our adversary right now thinks there are 15 different ways we could come at them with boots on the ground. And guess what? There are. So if we needed to, we could execute those options on behalf of the President of the United States and this department. Or maybe we don't have to use them at all. Maybe negotiations work or maybe there's a different approach. The point is to be unpredictable in that. Certainly not let anybody know what you're willing to do or not do. But if anybody has internalized the lessons of Iraq and Afghanistan as the first one, President Trump to call them out

for what they are.

He's not going to repeat those lessons. And I think I've been very clear about that from the podium.

Yeah. So there he is talking about that also when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz, this is what the Secretary of war, Pete Hegseth had to say about that. Cut number two, check this one out.

On the Strait of Hormuz, there are many more vessels flowing through today than there were, as the president has arranged. The president's been clear to Iran, open it for business or we have options, and we certainly do. And when you look at what the chairman laid out with the Navy, with the Navy industrial base, with coastal Cruise missiles, with UAVs with counter mine capabilities, we've been focused from the beginning on attrition and defeating those capabilities and limiting their options. There's lots we're doing as well, some of which is known, some of which is not known to set the conditions. And I think the president was clear this morning in his truth that there are countries around the world who ought to be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well. It's not just the United States Navy.

So he's making a great point there in terms of, you know, having others step up because let's face it, it's more important to them than it is to us. We barely get anything out of it. And the fact that we're going to have to secure everyone else's oil, oil shipments is a little, a little comical when you stop and think about.

Well, the problem though, is oil, as we know, is a global market and we can talk about that kind of stuff. But in the gorilla in the room is still that oil. We're looking at the gas pump now in the fours. If you're filling your, if you have oil to heat your house, you're now you're ordering 50 gallons instead of 150 gallons because you don't want to spend, spend $900. You can only spend $400 because the diesel that heats your home is now creeping towards over five.

So you can keep, we can keep talking about all the, you know, 4D 5D chess that's going on, but a lot of Americans who don't pay attention to this stuff as closely as we do who stop at the gas tank on their way home from their second job. It's, I mean, I don't know when it becomes a, an irreversible problem, but it's, it's Going to be there pretty soon.

Well, they think it's going to be over pretty quickly. They're not putting a date on it. Of course, when it comes to peace negotiations with Iran, the president talked about it. Iran keeps saying it's not happening, but it is happening. Nobody seems to be sure, but here's what Secretary Hagseth had to say about the negotiations that are going on with Iran. Cut number three. Check this out.

So on the talks, I can tell you, having been with Steve and Jared and the vice president and Marco and many others yesterday, they are very real. They are ongoing, they're active and I think gaining strength. And we appreciate that. As I said in my remarks, we would much prefer to get a deal if Iran was willing to relinquish material they have and ambitions they have. Open this. Great. That's the goal. We don't want to have to do more militarily than we have to to. But I didn't mean it flippantly when I said in the meantime, we'll negotiate with bombs. Our job is to ensure that we compel Iran to realize that this new regime, this regime in charge is in a better place if they make that deal.

And it's definitely. It's definitely better to negotiate with talking than, as he said, we can negotiate with bombs as well. So pretty strong words from the secretary. Secretary Hegseth, when it comes to what's going on with the peace talks taking place between the US And Iran, backdoor peace talks, whatever's going on. Pakistan says it wants to host the U. S. Iran talks after diplomats have met in Islamabad and hoping that it'll happen soon. But there is no word from Washington or Tehran if this is going to be happening. So we'll see what happens with that.

Vin, before Delgado moves on to the next story, any thoughts on what I just said about gas prices and when it becomes the only thing that people focus on and not all this intricate stuff that we focus on doing this for a living.
Vinnie Mac
Yeah. I mean, I have felt this way from the day this war was being talked about as possibly happening to the day it happened. And I feel the same way now regarding gas prices, the war, etc. This is going to be a short war. I gave it. I gave it four to six weeks. I believe it's going to be over in six weeks, which would be mid April. Number two, I believe oil prices are gonna be at the lowest they might ever have been in the last 15, 20 years. After this war is over, there's gonna be a real reduction in those costs. This is gonna been a short term problem. It's a real problem for a lot of people, a lot of real Americans. I totally get that. And it's at the prices are at a level they were during the Biden administration. So they were high during the Biden administration. Trump got them lower. But it's not like it's at seven or eight dollars a gallon. So I think it's temporary. What I really think is going to happen here is the summer. A lot of things are going to be resolved. Lower prices and everything, lower gas prices, the war is over. All of these things that Trump's doing, I think they all crush into one major end of summer movement. And the midterms hit after that. I believe that's what all of this is going to. So I'm very optimistic about low gas prices in the summer. As a matter of fact, I'll go be as bold as to say by May 15, we'll be seeing much lower gas prices. So I'm not as troubled about it. I think the strategy's spot on and I stick to that six week, four to six week timeline. I think we're right there. And the President just announced he's addressing the nation tomorrow night. So we'll see what he has to say.

Yes, I did not know it has to do with. It's actually good news as TSA workers have started getting paychecks after President Trump's executive order from last Friday has kicked in. The TSA officer started receiving those paychecks yesterday for Back pay missed during the shutdown of the Department of homeland security that DHS, which first lapped way back February 14th. So it's been more than two months. It's almost two and a half months since they've gotten paid, but they've got two full paychecks. They're just missing the first, I guess week and a half of the shutdown where they have not gotten paid. But that's a big chunk of money that came their way. After Congress failed to secure a deal last week to reopen dhs, which includes TSA and other agencies, President Trump signed an executive order Friday to make sure these officers get paid in hopes of easing the hour long wait times and rising absences at major airports throughout the country. Those paychecks began hitting employees bank accounts yesterday even as officials caution there might be some delays in paying some of the TSA officers back in full. But I think 80 or 90% of the total for a one shot deal is a good way to get things started. Here is Aaron Barker, the president of TSA union in Georgia, talking about the pay that the TSA workers and saying that's a huge plus cut. Number four, check this out.

I mean, let's be clear. We are grateful to have some funds going to our overdrawn accounts. You know, so we're happy to hear that there is some sort of relief that is coming. But this does not solve the issue of, you know, properly funding us through the end of the fiscal year.

Aaron Barker, president of the local TSA union here in Georgia says the executive order by President Trump on Friday to pay TSA workers missed income is huge. But they're still waiting on Congress to now return from recess and stop the government shutdown, guaranteeing all future paychecks for these federal employees.

Yeah, and as noted, I guess cross you could look all over social media, all those lines have seemed to be dissipated as these guys, these men and women have rushed back to work making sure now that they're getting paid. The union representing approximately 47 through 51,000 TSA workers. The American Federation of Government Employees confirmed that many TSA officers began receiving their back pay yesterday for periods 4 and 5, but not for the outstanding partial payment of period 3. I guess that's how they get paid in periods. House Republicans of course rejected a bipartisan Senate deal. They tried to sneak in overnight to reopen much of dhs, including tsa, but of course they didn't and ran for the airports themselves to make sure that they got their flights to take their two week Easter recess. You gotta love Congress. Do nothing. Congress.

Yeah, that takes two weeks off to do nothing while they expect everybody else to work and not get paid. It's terrible.

Yeah, the story really struck me. I never really like to talk about what the people at the View talk about and so on, but it did spark and a story for me, and that is one of the things I've been just greatly concerned about, probably going back at least 15, maybe 20 years, is the decay of our society. Just the basic family values and the basic cornerstones of our lives and how it's breaking down now in demonstrable ways and how it's being divided and all these simple things that we all kind of grew up with and many of us have experienced with our own families and the dynamic. Lots of people aren't experiencing that. And it comes down to family stuff, you know, the infrastructure of, you know, a mother, father having kids and all that kind of stuff. And I'm not saying that everybody's got to get married, everybody's got to have kids, but there's a. There's a common thread to this. And this is what happened at the View. There was someone at cpac, I think it was someone on the Daily Wire was on a panel, Isabel Brown, and she basically talked about the fact that it's time that people, young people, started thinking about, you know, marriage and having a family and restoring some of those values. And we've seen what's happened in the inner city communities, especially the African American community or the black community, where there's, you know, fatherless children all over the place, and people are having seven or eight kids, but there's no father. And you see the effect of that on these kids and the fact that they lack some of that discipline, they lack that consistency. We know how difficult it is to bring a child up, and all of us, I think, who have kids just try and do the right and bring our kids up to learn the right values and what's right and wrong and just learn about life. Well, it's hard to do that when you don't have an infrastructure to do it. And I think that's what she's talking about. And the people at the View went berserk. They went berserk over one of the most common elements in our entire society. I think it's. Delgado and Paul talk often about the deliberate process to break down our country and our society and our freedoms. And a lot of it has to do with the breaking down of the family unit. And amongst other things, you guys have talked about a lot of these elements that are put in by people who really don't want to see us succeed and want to divide our country, and they're putting these things out there. But one of the core elements that keep us together are family values. Again, it doesn't mean you have to get married and do all that stuff, but there is a lot of evidence around the fact that when you have a secure and solid infrastructure and you have an upbringing that provides that, you know, you just have a better view or a more disciplined view of the world and it's more stable for you and all these types of things, you don't resort to some of the things that a lot of these communities that don't have that resort to. The stats are there. So when I watch the people in the View go berserk over this, it just confirms for me once again that these liberal media hosts, they're poisoning our country and our people because their view of this being like, you know, wow, they're preaching to ourselves, family values and get married. We don't need that. I mean, I don't know how you can get it so wrong. It seems so obvious to me how things break down. And so when the View started talking about it, I'm like, man, I hate those girls. I hate those ladies. I won't watch that show. But you know what? It did bring out what I see happening in society. I'm not sure what you guys think about that. You know, I don't want to stand here and start preaching about, hey, you get married and have kids, but there is an infrastructure that works. And part of it is that, what do you think?

We're not scripted. We're not told what to say. We can have a diversity of opinions. But. And this is what's so critical. We can profess our faith as often and as freely as we would like to. But that comes from the source. That comes from top down. I don't know many organizations you could work in, other than maybe Dave Ramsey, where your profession of faith is actually very important to your job, in which case it's not. Hey, you know, maybe you shouldn't say that to. We want you to say it if you feel led, if you want to pray on your Ben Bergquam. I believe when we were in Turning Point usa, we were praying for people. Prayer is important. You have to live those values. And so from the top down, in the real America's voice structure are people who lead by example and who have this outer profession of faith. It's not inward. It is truly outward. We want to inspire audiences. And that's obviously what angel has tried to do, too. So you're right, Vinny. It's not just some propitious business relationship that's going on.

It's really about a synchronicity that's important, and it's top down. When I say top down, I don't mean just from the ownership. I'm talking from the man upstairs, if we're being honest. So we're dialed into that. You know what I mean? And I think we try to bring what's here outward to you, the audience. You know, a year or two ago, angel was putting out a couple of movies and doing, doing their thing and trying to try to inspire and having these faith driven family movies. But, but man, they've upped their game. I think. You were at an event not too long ago, you met Kevin James. They have so many new movies coming out. Like there's a real inventory now. Like you could spend an entire weekend or an entire week just watching Angel. Tell us, tell us about that. You got your finger on the pulse of a lot of their new content.

Well, yeah, you're right, Vinnie. Just a couple months ago, I was down in Miami for the premiere of Solo Meal. That is Angel's first rom com. Now again, when you think of rom com, okay, is it G rated, is it pg? Everything about it was clean. That what, that's what's amazing. And Kevin James is a devout cast. I didn't even know that coming into it, but just goes to show you that even when you're amplifying light with the type of catalog that they have, it doesn't necessarily mean that every single project has to be necessarily faith centered or faith driven. But it does come from a perspective of amplifying light in people's lives, which I think is so important in a dark world. So you're right, Vinny. There are so many titles. There's so many titles that angel has in its library. And that's why this 8.99amonth value is incredible. Because I think it was like $12 a month before. But you think about what people spend to that entertainment and let's be honest, bad entertainment, dark entertainment, things that would lead you down a poor path. You can watch this entertainment with your family and be totally okay with what you're seeing. Absolutely okay with it. And be inspired. So angel, you're right. Ever since Sound of Freedom and the Chosen has just continued to build and build and build and create an incredible library of material. And it's just going to continue. You look at Animal Farm coming up, which I think is going to be a. They call it a cautionary tale. It should be an interesting take on that book, but also young Washington. This is gonna be coming out for America's 250th anniversary. It's obviously about a younger George Washington and what led him to the stakes and the president that he became. It's historical, it's inspiring. We know George Washington, but we don't know young George Washington. And that's directed by John Irwin. Of course, the Irwin brothers have been amazing. I just interviewed his brother Andrew for I can only imagine too, that's the kind of content that you're seeing and it's just not going to stop. And Vinny, most importantly, which I think you said too, they are competing at a level that Hollywood studios could not have imagined. You know, we've heard we just need to take over the industry. I don't think you can do that. What I can think you can do is in a democratic and capitalistic world, create an alternative where there can be great content and give people that option.

Yeah, and they've done that. And what a great way to have a promotion coming into Easter weekend where we want to consume these types of things. We, we really want to get closer to God. Cbs Sports referee downplays contact with UConn's Dan Hurley during dramatic Elite Eight ending Cody Nagle of CBS Sports UConn coach Dan Harrelly was at the center of a late game exchange with referee Roger Ayers in the final seconds of Sunday's dramatic Elite Eight win against Duke, but the official involved said there was nothing to it. After Braylon Mullens knocked down the go ahead shot with 4/10 of a second remaining, officials went to the monitor to confirm how much time was left. As Ayres walked over toward the UConn bench, Hurley, with a smuggish look and his sport coat slipping off his right shoulder, leaned in and made a brief forehead to forehead contact. As Ayers explained the situation, a clip of the sequence quickly spread on social media. Of course we got it there. It's unbelievable. Some argued that any contact with an official in such a moment would normally trigger a penalty, particularly given the stakes of an Elite Eight game. I have a story I want to cover. But first, there is a little news news alert that Trump just signed an executive order overhauling mail in voting and election integrity push. So he's. The executive order calls for a barcode tracking system on all mail in ballots and then directs all federal agencies to compile lists of eligible voters using federal citizenship and using identification data and so on. So he's trying to do something here through executive order, which just came out just as we've been on the air here. So I thought that was worth noting. We'll have to peel that onion back. But the news story that I have, you know, you talk about birthright citizenship, which is what we covered a little earlier. There's a court in Illinois that refused to toss a challenge about the city paying $25,000 cash payments to black citizens for reparations. I just never thought I'd see this. I thought it was a narrative I thought it was a talking point. I thought it was something the left used to get black voters to vote for him. And they went and did it. They went and did it and they're giving people $25,000. Someone challenged it and said, you know, you can't do this. Reparations. Why? What, what is this? I mean, it makes no sense. There's no legal, you know, standard to do this, number one. So they tried to overthrow it. And a typical left wing East US District Court, John F. Knees, who allowed the lawsuit from a conservative group, but it, they tossed it. So there then I feel the challenges to keep paying people. I, I just never thought I'd see in my lifetime something like this. I mean, reparations. What happened in slavery, we all know, was horrible, but what's happened throughout history to a lot of people, you know, is horrible. It's just life. It's history. Like to have reparations for things that happened generations ago that none of us had to do. And our taxpayer dollars are paying it. Our current taxpayer dollars. Not like they had a reparations fund they set up in the 1800s, you know, when all this ended, and then they put all this money away and it stayed in a bank account for generations until they passed it around. No, it's not like that's what happened. They're taking our tax dollars and if you're a citizen of Illinois and they're using your tax dollars dollars to pay reparations to people who had nothing to do with slavery going back two or three generations, I mean, it's outrageous. And I guess here's a precedent. Maybe we're going to see this in other states and when courts allow this and enable it to happen by not doing the sensible thing and just tossing this stuff out and overturning these things and just shutting them down. Heck, Trump gets stopped with court orders left and right on complete nonsense. They put a court order through that. He can't continue to build the ballroom from some stupid frivolous lawsuit by someone in D.C. filed. I mean, they stop him from doing stuff left and right. They can't stop reparations. Seems outrageous. Did you guys hear about this, this reparations thing?

No, of course. We hear about it all the time. This one in particular. What state was it in?

Yeah, yeah. I mean, like, surprise, surprise. I don't know. This is our country is to think this is normal, to think this is acceptable, to think this is good. It says something just so wrong. You wonder how people are thinking the way they are. And I feel bad for what happened to the black people. And it did, you know, have a result over generations. I understand that. But, you know, so it's at the Holocaust. And so, you know, you go back over and over. The Irish were, you know, and the Italians when they came here and almost every minority had a tough time here and was, you know, racially discriminated against. I mean, it's.

Slavery was worse than the white slaves in Northern Africa as well, I hear in Northern Africa.

I mean, it's just happened throughout history. Yeah, I guess the thing that really the underlying piece for me is that tax dollars, current tax dollars, people that pay into the system, are being used to pay these things. And I just think that is outrageous. And just on that premise alone, it should have been thrown out.

This whole discussion takes me back to one of the great, great moments of doing this show and that was the honor that I had to interview the great Walter E. Williams before he unfortunately passed away. The late economist, professor at George Mason University, and of course syndicated columnist. And he maybe more than any other, highlighted the achievement of black Americans in the United States now for decades. And I'll just remind you of a couple of the things he said when he talked about economics and black Americans and where they've come in this country. If black Americans were considered a separate nation based on their collective earnings and spending, treated as, let's say, a gdp, they would rank among the world's wealthiest countries, often cited as the 16th to 20th richest, ahead of many European nations like the Netherlands, Belgium or Switzerland, and comparable to countries like Turkey or Poland. Figures that Mr. Williams referenced included around 271 billion in 1990, 726 billion in 2008. He also talked about high profile achievements in the black community, meaning black Americans serving as mayors or chief executives of major U.S. cities, New York, Chicago, Louisiana, Philly, Washington, D.C. general Colin Powell heading the most powerful military as chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Condoleezza Rice. Obviously people like Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan. Walter E. Williams noted that in 1865, at the end of the Civil War, neither a former slave nor a slave owner could have imagined such advancements in roughly 100 to 150 years. He described the progress during his own lifetime. He was born in 1936 as exceeding anyone's wildest dreams, moving from widespread material poverty and overt discrimination to constitutional equality and vastly improved living standards. By the late 20th, early 21st century, gross poverty and legal discrimination had largely vanished for most black Americans. He emphasized that his success stemmed from hard work, sacrifice, a no nonsense approach to life. And only a place that this could happen is in the United States of America. The only place. And I remember having the honor of interviewing him and what he would. And if he was alive today, he would be on tonight to talk about this and what he would think about this. And he would think it's absolute phooey.

Yeah, those are amazing points, Damon. Because the black community was doing so well. They had family units. They're economically, we're doing so well. And for some reason the Democrats hijacked that community to keep them down, to keep them voting for them. It's one of the things Trump talks about all the time. Like the way out of this. Let me get your cities and everything empowered here to create business and do stuff. Let's get the family unit back. But you can see how sinister the left is because they are solely responsible for that reversal of all those things that were happening that you just noted.

And by the way, he never sat and argued about that. All of these things had disappeared and there wasn't problems and there wasn't some persistent issues to deal with in the black community. He always did some residual discrimination, of course, but he argued that these were no longer the dominant explanatory factors after the civil rights victories of the 1960s. And basically he said, as we've talked about earlier in the show tonight, the number one thing is the sharp rise in single parents in the black community, in the households illegitimacy rates after the 1960s, which he linked then to welfare policies that incentivized family dissolution. Exactly what we were talking about before. I mean, nobody argued these things as well as he did. I mean, it was such an honor to have him on this show. I've actually gone back and listened to that article. I listened to that interview once in a while and it's actually, I'm gonna put that up in the members section of the app tonight. And that's where it should live forever. It's such a good interview. He's so brilliant. So anyways, good point, Vin. Good story. And the great Walter E. Well, I'm probably the least conspiracy theorist of the group in terms of things that happen. Elgato, Paul. I try not to get too conspiracy theorists.

Oh, yeah, thank you. But I did See, a story that just kind of gave me one of those. Huh? And that is that the defense attorneys in the Charlie Kirk assassination are challenging the FBI and the ATF who did a ballistics comparison to the bullet during the autopsy of Charlie Kirk, and it didn't match the rifle that supposedly shot Charlie Kirk. This is. They were unable to match the bullet recovered during the autopsy to the rifle used by this kid Robinson, stating that the recovered weapon was, you know, one standard and the bullet was another. That, that is interesting because the conspiracy theorists have talked about other means in which Charlie was. Was shot, and this might let. Let some credence to it because it doesn't. Doesn't make sense that these things don't match. That's actually a fairly big deal. So I just saw that story.

Yeah, as much as I hate these things, that's not exactly what's going on. That's not at all true, actually. Of course, the defense is, of course, desperate for anything. So what, what my understanding is they're saying here is they're arguing that. That the bullet was not. That the bullet was so fragmented, which any ballistics person will tell you. This is what happens all the time. It's almost impossible to get a bullet like that and somehow then say, oh, yes, we could just put it back. And this is exact. So it's almost like a play on words. It's, it's almost. Right. It's almost like a play on words. They're saying, oh, it doesn't matter. It's. And then the Daily Mail honestly should be. I don't know what the repercussions should be for running that headline that they did, because a lot of people then read it and think exactly what you just said.

Well, it's very misleading, right, because the headline says inconclusive. That doesn't, that's not, doesn't mean the same as not a match. It just means from what they. They've gotten. And again, David makes a point about the, the damage that was done for those. To that, to that bullet fragment. You can't, you can't kind of put that together like that. But it doesn't say it doesn't match. It just says that fragment. It's too fragmented to compare.

Yeah, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're playing, they're trying to play fun games here. Not games, but they're, they're trying to play loose with the facts. And the Daily Mail for pushing this and making it sound like exactly what you tried to say is really the problem because there's a lot of people who thought that.

Right. And what happens then? That becomes the story. Oh, did you hear? They'll only go with the headline, oh, the bullet didn't match. It didn't match. It didn't match. It didn't match. And that's all people will say. And then that'll be the narrative that people will be talking about. And when you're watching the View tomorrow, Vin the fat lesbian will talk about how the bullet didn't match and that the kid is. The gay kid is.

Okay, well, there, there's already clips. Andrew from Turning Point was on Fox today talking about that and just putting that story aside, that's just, you know, not true. And media, media, you know, just taking a story and creating a obscure headline, which they did, which I saw and I fell for because it seemed totally legit. So it's good. We talked about it and we clarified it. And it seems like it's. It's just more just chum for folks to get on conspiracy theories, but not true. So I'm glad we just.

A little more on this. The ATF ran a tool mark analysis on a bullet jacket fragment recovered from Charlie's autopsy. The result was inconclusive, not no match. The jacket was too fragmented to compare, which also partially explains the lack of an exit wound. The bullet shattered on impact. Inconclusive means insufficient evidence to draw any conclusion. It doesn't mean the bullet did not match the rifle like the headline in the Daily Mail said. So the defense wants to use inconclusive as exculpatory evidence. But the prosecution wants to run chemical molecular analysis comparing the jacket alloy to the ammunition recovered with the gun. Unlike tool mark analysis, it doesn't require an intact attacked bullet. The defense is trying to block that testing from happening. That's the nuance of what the real story here is. So that. That's the deal with that. So.

I sat on the Emerging Threats subcommittee that oversaw everything going on in cyberspace. Had access to DARPA and the projects they were working on, had special compartmentalized clearance that is above the clearance of just, you know, a regular congressional briefing. And so I even got to see things that other members of Congress didn't get to see that weren't on the Armed services. Like what?
