This is an iHeart podcast. All right. Live from Studio 6B on a Tuesday, September 30th, Real America's Voice. Glad you're in On a Tuesday night, eight o', clock, Vinnie Mac sitting right there in our West Palm beach studio. And if you joined me earlier from my early stream, you know, it's going to be a quick night here on live from Studio 6B because Turning Point USA has a big event tonight that Real America's Voice will be covering at around, we think around 8:15, 8:20 or so. So we'll take you right up. Till then. Vinnie's in our West Palm studio down in Florida. Vinnie Mac, how are you?
Vinnie Mac
I'm doing well. Dam. Every time I come down here, it's an adventure. The line of people getting on the plane that have disabilities, it gets longer and longer and longer. So there's about 16 people I counted getting on the plane and I tell them, hey, fake a limp, do something, because they look normal. They're walking like regular, and there's no way they're disabled. If you're disabled, fine, I'm all good. But there's just regular people walking in, eating a hero, you know, having a Coke. I'm like, well, what's that all about?
Damon
Well, as we know, there's many things about a plane that bother Vinnie, especially when people who have their luggage, who put their luggage in the overhead compartments and they put it in 3C and you say, well, wait a minute, that's my spot. Where are you in there? I said, well, I'm in 14D.
Vinnie Mac
That's my row. Yeah, that's my space up there.
Damon
Yeah. While you put your luggage up here, pal, move it back to where you're sitting. Yeah. So, yeah, yeah, so we'll get into all that. It's going to be a short night because Real America's Voice is going to cover the Turning Point event out in Utah, Utah State, which I, I thought at first when I heard that they were going back to where Charlie, this whole unfortunate disaster incident of his assassination. But I guess it's not the same place. Somewhere different. This is Utah State. Although they've already had an incident out there. They've had the bomb squad there to look at a device that they found. So it's. There's already extra precaution and I mean, just, you know, I don't know, it's just unbelievable. Here they are back in Utah and already they're having problems there. So I'm sure, obviously everyone's gonna, you know, whoever the security is gonna it's probably the safest place to be in the world tonight, is there and they're gonna be on top of it. But they've already had, you know, quite a day in making sure that everybody there is safe. Mike Lee's gonna be there, is scheduled to be there. Andy Biggs is scheduled to be there. So it's gonna be a great panel. And so I'm sure Secret Service or whoever else is there, whatever security is there, is gonna make sure it's safe. But they've already already had issues today there. So we'll keep an eye on that. We're going to go to that as soon as it's live again. We think about 8:15, 8:20. But in the meantime, let's, let's jump into tonight's first word. And for tonight's first word, we're diving headfirst into the swamp of Washington D.C. where of course, as you know, radical Democrats led by Schmucky Schumer and Akeem Jeffries are going to hold you, the American people, Hostage as of 12:01 tonight. That's right.
Vinnie Mac
Right.
Damon
Hostage. They're threatening to shut down the government. It looks like they're going to your government. All because they can't get their way with a laundry list of far left special interest demands. This is a disgrace, folks, an absolute disgrace. Let's set the stage. The Republicans semi unified for at least once a miracle of miracles have put Forward a clean seven week continuing resolution to keep the government funded through November 21st. Simple, straightforward, no nonsense. Let's just keep the lights on, protect the American people and oh by the way, add some security funding for all three branches of government after the horrific Charlie Kirk assassination attempt. Sounds semi reasonable, right? Wrong. Not to the Democrats, it doesn't. Schumer and his progressive pals are spoiling for a fight, itching to slam the brakes on the country because they didn't get their way back in the spring. That's really what this is about. They're still crying over that one. When Schumer caved, then to avoid a shutdown and then has been getting blasted an earful from his socialist base. Now listen to this. The Trump administration isn't playing games. Russ Vogt, the OMB director, sent a memo to agency heads warning them to brace for mass firings of federal employees if the Democrats don't get on board with the House pass. CR that's right, mass firings. The memo says, and I quote, programs that did not benefit from an infusion of mandatory appropriations will bear the brunt Of. Of the shutdown. Translation, Democrats. If you want to play hardball, that's fine. You're going to feel the heat and so will your bloated bureaucracies. And that's exactly what's going to happen tonight. But what are the Democrats demanding? Well, you're going to love this. They want a permanent extension of the temporary Affordable Care act subsidies from the COVID days because apparently nothing screams emergency like locking in more government handouts forever. Of course that's what they want to do. They're also pushing to reverse the Republican past crackdowns on Medicaid for illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants. That's right. They're all in on them. Can you believe that? They're holding the entire federal government hostage to push policies that cater to their far left base and their illegal special interests. As Senate Majority Leader John Thune said, and I'm paraphrasing here, he said, the Democrats are taking the American people hostage to ram through their radical agenda. It's truly disgusting. Now, President Trump, Vice President J.D. vance and the Republicans are standing tall saying, well, bring it on. They're confident folks and really they should be. The GOP's got their house somewhat in order this time. Even the fiscal hawks who are usually throwing a fit over CRs, are somewhat on board with this clean CR. Meanwhile, Schumer and Jeffries are out here trying to play Freedom Caucus, attaching a wish list of unrelated left wing garbage to the funding bill. It's truly laughable. Trump canceled the meeting with them last week. He canceled it because the demands are so ridiculous. Yesterday, he gave them one last chance at the White House to come to their senses. And one last chance that Chuck Schumer didn't want to take, seemingly. Here's the bottom line. The clock is ticking. September 30th, midnight tonight. That's in four hours. If Schumer doesn't help Thune clear the filibuster on the clean cr, the government shuts down. And mark my words, the American people will know who to blame. And it's not the Republicans. They've done their job, but the Democrats who are so desperate to appease their radical base, they're willing to grind the country to a halt. J.D. vance said it best. If the Democrats refuse to pass this clean cr, that is exactly what is going to happen. We're going to shut it down and the Democrats will bear the responsibility for it. So, Chuck Schumer, you hear that? The American people are watching. And that's tonight's first word. Vinnie Mac, shut down in four hours. And oh, you know, I said earlier today because of Schumer the last time caving and he's got, he's never, he's never stopped getting an earful. And I don't think people understand the position Russ Vogt is going to be in if this thing goes past 12 o'. Clock. And I want to cover a little bit of that here in the time we have left in this segment. But I can't wait for 1201 tonight. And I say let Russ, let Russ, Russ vote Cook because I think he's ready to use, he knows more about the budget and what he will be able to do tonight than I think most people have any clue about. So. And I don't think the Democrats realize the power. This, this one is different. I even had to read up on this because we talk about these crs closing, the government closing what really happens all the time. This one seems different to me with him at omb.
Vinnie Mac
The, this entire matter is so indicative of just how disconnected and off base the Democratic Party is overall. You know, if you think about Schumer and you know, the hypocrisy that he's, you know, excuse me, you think about the hypocrisy of Schumer from the last CR when they forced or tried to guilt the Republicans all into passing it, which they did, and no one stood in the way. Here's a party that is so out of touch with the American people, with policies, and this is just another major indication of just how out of touch they are. And when you look at the polling, you would think they'd be waking up to some of this stuff. The polling is clear. Trump's on the right side of just about every major issue. And this calculus, which I'm not that upset over this because I feel like every time they make a calculus like this, it helps the Republicans and it's gonna help them in the midterms because this is just atrocious. I was battling with some folks as my usual, you know, on Facebook about this and saying, hey, do you know what they're trying to add here? They wanna fund, you know, illegals and Medicare for illegals and all this other stuff. They're like, no, they don't. That's not in it. I'm like, well, it is. All of this stuff is in what they're asking for, in addition to other stuff that might maybe warrant a progressive left wing support. But the rest of the public, at least on the left, they don't understand that these things are in it. And if they really did, they'd be like, well, geez, just punt. So I think they're just hurting themselves. Let them hurt themselves and bury themselves.
Damon
Yeah. I don't think most people understand the position that Russ Vogt is going to be in at omb tonight at 12:01. But let me just bring you up to speed where we are. So John Thune said he was just going to continue to bring this to the floor, make them vote on it over and over again. And so as of the last vote, Fetterman of Pennsylvania broke with Schumer. He voted yes to keep the government open. Cortez Mastro of Nevada, she did also. And Angus Burger King of Maine, he voted yes. So you have three Democrats who have broken ranks with Schumer to vote yes. But on our side, you have Rand Paul who voted no. So I believe the Last vote was 5545. To keep the government open, they need to get to 60. And.
Vinnie Mac
Rand Paul.
Damon
Rand Paul voted no. Well, because Rand Paul doesn't like any spending, he stays. You know, I mean, I would, you know, this is only in the Senate, so that's all we're talking about. So Massie doesn't come into play here. But Reno, Rand Paul doesn't vote for any of these. He doesn't like CRS. He wants to have 12 appropriations bills. He wants to cut government. He wants to do do what they're supposed to do. He doesn't like cr. And by the way, we shouldn't like crs. This one, though, is a little different. Number one, it's only seven weeks. It's clean. And so I read this article today. I don't have time to go through the whole thing, but this is in something called the Government Executive and it's entitled the Ultra Risks of a Routine Shutdown. And that's what I think people are thinking. We're used to these shutdowns and people think, okay, we know how this goes. But according to Donald Kettle, who wrote this article, he says if Democrats risk a government shutdown this week, they might, they may unwittingly play into the most dramatic shift of power to the executive branch in recent history. And he says it's easy to think about the prospects of this government shutdown as the next act in an old, tired play that we all know about. But what's looming this time is far, far different. With incalculable stakes. For the Democrats, it could amount to the most dramatic shift in separation of powers. In living memory, that might sound raving, but consider this without a new budget passed on this not so happy fiscal new year, only accepted parts of the government can operate. The Anti Deficiency act prevents spending on anything else, he says. Here's what the looming shutdown this time will be far, far different from the previous ones we had in 95, 2013, 2018. According to reports first published in Politico, OMB Director Russ Vogt instructed agencies to prepare RIFs for all employees without separate funding and whose work, quote is not consistent with the president's priorities. The IRFS could apply even to employees working in accepted programs, just a momentary lapse in appropriations. A shutdown that lasts even minutes or hours would give Vote the power to tell agency leaders to move past the usual furloughs, temporary non duty, non pay status right directly to RIFs being permanently fired. Vote could choose the programs that the administration has been wanting to eliminate and give a very big haircut to others. I'll tell you what else he could do when we get back. Live from Studio 6 waiting for Turning Point USA. This is the Turning Point live from Utah State. We will go there as soon as it's live and we will bring it to you in its entirety. We're back right after this. Welcome to Real America's Voice. Real Minute, your quick look at the powerful stories of faith and freedom inspiring audiences across the nation. Angel Studios presents a Kennedy curse that.
Narrator/Announcer
Is the theme of Angel Studios newest documentary, RFK Legacy. It comes from acclaimed filmmaker Oliver Stone, director of the hit movie jfk, and his son Sean Stone. In a profile of the Kennedy legacy that you've never seen before, I want.
Vinnie Mac
To ask you about your father's assassination.
Damon
Anybody who reads that report will understand that Sir Hent could not have killed my father. It's a dirty story.
Narrator/Announcer
It explores the Kennedy legacy as told through the eyes of Bobby Kennedy Jr. Who reflects upon his life and memories his time on Cape Cod, his uncle's assassination, his own father's assassination, and his early interest in nature and the environment.
Vinnie Mac
This time you have a drug addiction. How does that play out?
Damon
I wanted to be working, working with nature. He was appalled at what he saw. This is how he became the leading environmental lawyer in the United States. There's no right to pollute. The polluter pays. My views are constantly misrepresented.
Narrator/Announcer
This compelling documentary profiles our current Secretary of Health and Human Services and dives deep into why Bobby Kennedy is who he is, why he cares so much about health in this country, and how his family legacy continues even after family members pass on far too soon.
Damon
I Don't know if there's a curse. We do what we're supposed to do. The outcome's in God's hands.

All right, 18 past the hour, live from Studio 6B on a Tuesday night. Boy, that looks. That looks really good. That looks interesting. Vin, what's. What's the deal with Angel Studios? I know they've put out great stuff in the last couple years. I actually saw one of their screeners. I don't remember what the name of the movie was, but I actually saw one of their screeners. Man, they, they shoot some beautiful looking things.
Vinnie Mac
Yeah, the Angel Studios has up their game big time, especially for the faith and family oriented community. And it's an amazing thing that we have this partnership with them. It's not your typical partnership, folks. We're really trying to, but to help move forward and get into the public domain. This type of content, very good faith and family content. This documentary on rfk. I mean, I'm a big fan of rfk. I read his book. He wrote about Fauci. I followed him for years and I love what he's doing. If you do too, I would check out this documentary, but one of the amazing things we're doing with Angel Studios is we're trying to help them increase their guild membership, which are members of Angel Studios, and you get to see all this content and so on. So we've partnered with them to help. We've all joined. It's an amazing opportunity to see some great movies because they are making movies. It seems like they're making them every week. Damon. And that's AngelStudios.com Rav if you want to check that out. And I would really recommend to everybody, if you want to see some great content and some good movies that are meaningful, go to angelstudios.com Rav Rrav and there's the QR code.
Damon
Yeah, you can just scan the QR code right there. Yeah, that's interesting, Vin. They shoot beautiful. It looks really nice on screen. That's one of the things I really like about what they do is they. And actually, production wise, it really looks good. So because some of these docks, you know, you see people, these do these docs and it's just like, it's painful to watch. Well, that's not the case here. It's. I mean, it looks good, like they know what they're doing. So.
Vinnie Mac
No, that's Oliver Stone.
Damon
Yeah.
Vinnie Mac
I mean, he did the JFK movie. He does a documentary on RFK Jr. Fantastic.
Damon
Yeah. All right. Angelstudios.com Rav or you can scan the QR code that we just had up. So getting back to the budget before I don't know how much longer we have here before this event starts, but I just again, I want to go over this because I don't think people understand at 1201 what's going to happen tonight. Again from this governmentexec.com article, just a momentary lapse in appropriations. The shutdown that could last minutes or even just hours is going to give Russ Vote the power to tell agency leaders to move past the usual furloughs directly to IRFs being permanently fired. Vote could choose the programs that the administration has been wanting to eliminate and give a very big haircut to others. The result would be a dramatic instantaneous shift in the separation of powers while the purse is empty, meaning we don't pass the obviously the appropriations bills ombuds would seize the power of the purse from Congress. The administration could choose to prolong a shutdown for as long as it liked through poison pills in the negotiations with congressional Democrats and comb through the government to flatted programs that it's been trying to cut. With this prospect looming, the administration has little incentive to do more than shed crocodile tears over a shutdown. And it looks like that's exactly where we're headed. Again, Last vote was 55 45. Three Democrats have broken ranks with Schumer, Fetterman, Cortez, Mastro and Angus Burger King of Maine. And Rand Paul on our side obviously voted no as he always does on these CRs. Now last thing and then we'll get to some news that Vin has Russ Vote has already put out a memo tonight about eight minutes ago, memorandum to the heads of Executive departments and agencies. Status of agency operations Appropriations provided under the full year Continuing Appropriations and Extension act expire at 11:59 tonight on September 19th the House of Representatives passed a clean continuing resolution that would fund the government through November 21st. Unfortunately, Democrats senators are blocking passage of HR 5371 in the Senate due to Democrats insane policy demands which include 1 trillion in new spending. President Trump supports passage of HR 5371 but is it is now clear that Democrats will prevent passage of the clean CR prior to 11:59 tonight and force a government shutdown as such affected agencies should now execute their plans for an orderly shutdown. It is unclear how long Democrats will maintain their untenable posture, making the duration of the shutdown difficult to predict. Regardless, employees should report to work for their next regularly scheduled tour of duty to undertake orderly shutdown activities. We will issue another memorandum indicating that government functions should resume once the president has signed a bill providing for appropriations. Agencies should continue to closely monitor developments and OMB will provide further guidance as appropriate. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in the work you're in agencies on behalf of the American people. So that out from Russ Vote tonight around like I said, 15, 20 minutes ago. So at 12 o' clock then it's going to be a whole new world for the federal government if they choose, if they choose to go that route.
Vinnie Mac
Yeah, you know, I've been laughing while you're reading that because it's just, it's just amazing. Like all the effort that Trump has made and Doge has made to shut things down that are horribly wasteful and they got some of it done, but they didn't get all of it, obviously. And here are the Democrats not maybe they realize this, maybe they don't, that they're playing right into our hands. And I love it because if it gives us a path to actually shut those things down and permanently fire people from agencies that we know are either still all woke or a waste of time, a waste of money and all that kind of stuff. Well, I'm laughing because this is funny. Like they just keep stubbing their toe and doing things to appease a fringe group and they don't realize the amount of damage they're doing to themselves. And you know, it's like, let's be quiet. Let's not even talk about it. Let's just let them do it. They're just taking themselves down.
Damon
Yeah, well, we're gonna see. I mean, there's nobody who knows more about how the budget works than he does. So it's going to be very interesting to see if they actually take care what's been granted to them. I mean, and we, we've talked about cotton spending, we've talked about Doge, we've talked about Doge 2.0. Well, this is like Doge 2.0 without Doge having to be there and Elon Musk having to be there. Russ Vogt could do it single handedly, seemingly on his own. Now, he was on with Fox Business before and he said up to 300,000 bureaucrats could be fired overnight tonight as a start. So we'll see where it goes from there. So. All right, let's take the break. We're still waiting for Utah. I believe it's Utah State. This is the Turning Point that's going to happen. Turning Point USA's event tonight. And as soon as they go live, we will take you there live. In the meantime, when we get back, if we have many more time, Vince will do a couple stories that has his interest today. Live from Studio 6B on a Tuesday night.
Vinnie Mac
It.
Damon
All right. 30 minutes past the hour. Live from Studio 6 beat going to take you live to Utah State, Turning Point. This is the Turning Point event tonight and it's going to be a great panel. Senator Mike Lee from Utah, who else is on the panel that we've. I can't. I don't have the list in front of me, but it doesn't matter. It's going to be great. Just watch it. Senator Mike Lee, the governor of Utah, who I know many people do not like, Spencer Cox, he'll be on the panel. And of course, he was obviously pretty central to everything that happened at Utah Valley State, obviously in the Charlie Kirk assassination. So he'll be there. And I believe a couple other of your Arizona, your Utah representatives or maybe a couple Arizona representatives as well, will be there with Andy Biggs, I think, is going to be there. So it's going to be a good panel. We'll bring it to you live as soon as it gets going, which should be any second, if it's two.
Vinnie Mac
Right. I'm Jason Chaffetz, too.
Damon
Yeah, it's Jason Chaffetz. Thank you. Jason Chaffetz will be there as well, obviously, who was extremely close to Charlie, who was broadcasting all throughout that day, and obviously it was extremely tough for him. He'll be there. I would think this will be a very inspiring and emotional night on this panel. So what's caught your attention today, Vin? While we have a few moments here to do some news, Trump had quite a day speaking to military leaders along with Pete Hegseth and the president in that speech. Man, he was really into that speech. I mean, he talked for a long time. He had story after story after story after story. And then he was back in the White House and he made a big announcement with Pfizer. Tell me a little bit about what you saw today.
Vinnie Mac
I mean, he's been talking to the pharmaceutical companies in general because I think part of the agenda is to lower pharmaceutical costs. And he's gotten Pfizer to agree and they should, by the way, to agree to lowering the cost of many of the major drugs that they have, sort of using the idea that if it's available in Europe for X amount of dollars, it should be available here for the same amount. And we know a lot of people need to go overseas to get good drugs, good prices on drugs at least. So he's gotten Pfizer to do that, and I think he's gotten other pharmaceutical companies in the past. So. So slowly but surely he is making an impact. It seems every day, but certainly every week something really major comes through. And this pharmacide is a major, major deal when you're taking pharmaceuticals and reducing the cost. So that caught my eye big time. A few of the things caught my eye and I'm laughing. Damon, about this whole thing with the government shutdown and our ability to force permanent fire firing permanently, people, employees or divisions and all these group, so much of our money, you know, the Hamas deal or the deal for Palestine, or however you want to phrase it, I think it's the same thing. Trump has created this platform for peace, you know, in Palestine with all the things that he put down there. But he's telling Hamas, you got three to four days to agree. It's almost like, and it seems like same thing with this shutdown, Trump is saying to himself, I don't know, I kind of win either way. If they don't agree to it now, I just tell Israel, fine, now finally go finish it and kill all the leaders and wipe them out and then we'll go do this anyhow. Or you can agree to this now and we won't do that and you guys will save your butts and you'll live a few more days. And I feel like it's the same thing with this shutdown. That is amazing. And I think he uses the same tactics with these pharmaceutical companies where he's going to lay the hammer down. No more, everybody's on your payroll, pharmaceutical company. He's going to be using the tools that he has to inflict the changes that he wants. There's such a common thread in how he's dealing because if he loses something, you really find out he actually wins. If Hamas says they're not going to agree, which, who cares at this point, they're just a short period of time away from wiping them out anyhow. So I think that's the position he's taken. And you can see the same thing with this budget deal. What do you think about that?
Damon
I mean, it really has been an amazing 24 hours. I was saying to people were talking about his speech at the generals today, the military, and they were saying that he seemed like kind of off his game. And I didn't think he Seemed off his game. He was telling stories. He loves to tell stories. Specifically, I think he loves to get into it when he's in front of these generals and military leaders, number one, I think he thinks he's smarter than all of them, which he probably is, and understands a lot of this better. But he likes to get off into these tangents, and sometimes it's like, okay, come on, let's get refocused. But, I mean, I enjoyed the president this morning. He did sound. He was like a little. Maybe I have a little bit of a cold. And he joked with Bobby Kennedy, who sneezed during the Pfizer announcement and said, bobby, I hope I didn't just catch COVID there. And then, of course, turned to somebody from Pfizer and said, get me a Paxlovid. Which I was thinking, no, Mr. President, no, stop at the Paxlovid. It's terrible. Doesn't work. But my point is, it's been a heck of a 24 hours. When you think about what he's accomplished. Who else could have accomplished it? He gets. He ushers in this major peace deal, or at least a platform for the deal. He has Bibi there. He does this amazing base. You know, he does this amazing press conference and basically said, you know, basically owning it and saying, it's my way or the highway here. You know, he. He's had his differences with him on certain things, but obviously, he's still a huge supporter. He obviously wants to bring priests to the region now. He's taken on drug prices. He's done some AI things this week to protect children. He spoke to the generals this morning. I mean, who else could have a 24 hours like he has had here?
Vinnie Mac
We say this every week. You know, who else. I can't believe the 24 hours. But let's give some kudos to the people running these agencies below him.
Damon
Him.
Vinnie Mac
You know, we've seen Cash Patel step up, trying to get, you know, grilled and lied about and everything you could in front of Congress, and he was just awesome. It's exactly the sort of the vigor you want from your people, especially in this Trump administration. And Pete Hegseth, I mean, Pete basically came out today and said to all the generals and many of them, you know, the ones that were caving with all the stuff that was going on with the Biden administration and, you know, the woke stuff and all the nonsense sense, and I just love what he had to say, because if you think about it in a real sense, as Americans, and if I was sitting around with a bunch of my buddies, I'd be saying the same thing, which is, I feel safer. Why do I feel safer? I feel safer because the guy leading the military is basically saying, wake up, grow up and get tough. You're supposed to protect us, and you need to be in great shape. And we can't have any of this nonsense going on. This is war. It's life and death. So I feel much better hearing his speech, which I thought was. It was tough and it was manly in a sense, and very macho. But he said all the things that I would want for people that are protecting me and protecting you, Damon, and our families and countries and all those types of things. You don't want people in subpar shape because of some WOKE policy to be on the front lines trying to save you. I mean, none of us would want that.
Damon
Hey, fat. Take a walk. Like a lot of walks. Get out.
Vinnie Mac
Exactly. And calling all these generals in and the leaders and calling them on the carpet. And he basically said, do it. And if you don't wanna do it, you're gone. And that's where Trump is taking that position from the top down. That's his leadership style. Kash Patel's doing it. It. We're seeing it with other agencies. And. And Pete Hegseth had his moment today, so good job, Pete. You know, getting in front of everybody and giving them a stern whooping, which is what he did.
Damon
And here's what the. Here's what the woke, pathetic media got out of it. I saw this guy, John Harwood, who really is a total head case. I think he used to be on NBC or CNBC or. He used to be. He used to try to claim he was a, you know, nonpartisan reporter. He tweeted out today, Pete Hexseth makes it clear that if he had his way, the US Military would have had. Would have no blacks in leadership positions and no women at all. That's what he got out of it. So Pete Hexis says, no fat, lazy people in the military. We want the finest of the finest. We want the most in shape, killing machines ready to win and be the most fiercest that we can be. And this moron takes out of that that he wants. No. That he wants no blacks or women. That's what the media heard today.
Vinnie Mac
Well, that's what they do. Look at what they got out of Charlie's assassination. Look at what they get out of everything that happens. They find some ridiculous angle that really is so stupid and off target to talk about. Charlie talked about Hate. And this is only about black people and women. It's ridicul about our safety at the end of the day. Now, I do want to correct one thing that I said. I was talking about this whole thing with Hamas and the fact that it's going to end either way. I want the hostages back. And Trump's making an attempt right now to tell Hamas, look, this is your last chance. Release the hostages and we can figure this thing out. I just don't think Hamas would do that no matter what. And drawing a line in the sand is what he needs to do. But if for some reason they don't do it, I mean, what choice do we have but to wipe them out? And, you know, that would put the hostages at risk, which is why we haven't done that. But something's gotta get done. So I don't wanna disregard the lives of these hostages and why this peace deal is meaningful, because it is. And I just wanted to clarify that because I don't wanna sound like, hey, I don't care about them. I do. I think at some point, though, you just have to draw a bit of a line in the sand. They have tried everything. These people just won't cooperate. They don't care.

Yeah. All right, a couple things to bring you up to speed on. We're waiting. We thought it would have started already, but we're waiting for Utah State, the Turning Point. This is the Turning Point event featuring Speaker Mike Lee, Jason Chavitz and others. We're waiting for that to go live. We'll bring. We'll bring you. Okay. I just got word. We're about five minutes out. We'll bring it to that in that five minutes. Let me tell you a couple things. U.S. senate. Senate will vote tomorrow on reopening the federal government. John Thune confirms tonight. Here's his quote. I'm hoping there are enough reasonable Democrats over there. We picked up three tonight when we voted. We're going to vote on this again tomorrow. Hopefully we'll pick up some more and eventually we'll get enough to pass this thing in the Senate and keep the government open. But this was all unnecessary. This was all done to satisfy their left political base and Schumer's fears. I mean, this guy is somebody who is running scared, obviously, every single day from aoc. And I think he's absolutely right about that. Chuck Schumer's running scared from aoc, and he's running scared from the last time he caved. And he's. He's been getting an ear fill an earful from the radical socialist left ever since then. But the damage will be done and this is what I'm saying. We we let's just hope that OMB decides to as this guy in this article today who I had never read before in Government Executive. His name is Donald Kettle. Let's hope he's right that all Russ vote needs is 1201 tonight to be able to do what he has to do. Whether they vote on this tomorrow at 8am or 9am it doesn't make any difference. The damage will hopefully have been done as far as to them and hopefully for us he can take a, a slashing to the to the government. So one other thing while we have time Vin, because we're talking you were just talking about Hamas. John Spencer is the Chair of War Studies at the Madison Policy Forum and he looked at Trump's plan, 20 point plan yesterday that the White House put out. You know, there was a lot of leaks yesterday early in the morning on Trump caving and Trump giving, you know, Judea and Samaria. There was all these leaks coming on on what this was going to be. Well, John Spencer says, in my view, the 20 point plan is the most comprehensive proposal put forward to date for both ending the war and setting durable conditions for peace. It directly achieves Israel's objectives in the campaign against Hamas, the immediate release of all hostages, the demilitarization and de radicalization of Gaza, the establishment of a Hamas free governing structure and long term security assurances for Israel. What sets Trump's plan apart is that it also offers a genuine path to peace grounded in conditions that actually reflect realities on the ground. It directly addresses the real concerns of the Palestinian people, including assurances against forced displacement, a clear path forward for governance and international support for rebuilding. The plan envisions coexistence tied to tangible steps, an external panel to oversee reconstruction, and the exclusion of the Palestinian Authority until it completes a meaningful reform program. Crucially, the plan secures at least some level of buy in from Arab, Muslim and international partners for the deployment of an international stabilization force in Gaza. This provision removes the burden from the IDF to act as a long term stabilizing presence and more importantly prevents Hamas from employing its central survival strategy of embedding itself within Gazaan's civilian population. Finally, unlike other proposals, the 20 point plan includes an explicit clause addressing the possibility of Hamas refusing all of the terms. This recognition of reality strengthens the plan's credibility and makes it more resilient to the group's well known pattern of obstruction and rejectionism yes. Many questions remain. Who will sit on the proposed Board of Peace? What nations will contribute to the International Stabilization Force? Which regional partners will be tasked with ensuring that Hamas and his factions comply with their obligations? Who's going to validate that the Palestinian Authority has genuinely carried out reforms? These uncertainties are real, but they do not diminish Trump's plan's significance. For all the questions it leaves open, the 20 point plan answers far more than any other proposal to date.

Yeah. Yeah. And you know what you don't see in there? You don't see politics. You know what else you don't see in there? You probably don't see any influence from Western Europe. All these other nannies that, you know, were trying to create, I don't know, this soft landing for Hamas and others. This looks like a well thought out plan based on what's going on in the ground, based on been probably deep consultation with the Israelis and others that actually know what's going on. When's the last time you actually saw a peace plan that's this robust Damon that actually meant something that didn't have all politics attached to it?
Damon
Throw it up there.
Vinnie Mac
Like you can just tell by that.
Damon
All right, Vin. We have a live shot at Utah State turning. This is the turning point. Live from Utah State. We're gonna bring you there now as it's just kicking off. We'll be back when it's done.
Vinnie Mac
I see this empty chair, and it just. It does something to me.
Damon
I know it does something to you.

Main Theme: Looming government shutdown, fallout from recent political events, and a pivotal Turning Point USA event at Utah State.
This episode, broadcast as a shortened special due to live coverage of Turning Point USA’s Utah State event, focuses on the imminent federal government shutdown, political wrangling in Congress, and reactions to recent security incidents. The hosts discuss implications of tonight's funding deadline, the mechanics and politics of continuing resolutions (CRs), and what may transpire if a shutdown occurs. There is also discussion of Trump Administration policy moves, recent international developments, and a look ahead to the Turning Point event.
“It’s probably the safest place to be in the world tonight, is there and they’re going to be on top of it... already had issues today there.” — Damon (02:10)
“They [Democrats] want a permanent extension of the temporary Affordable Care act subsidies from the COVID days because apparently nothing screams emergency like locking in more government handouts forever.” — Damon (05:20)
“Every time they make a calculus like this, it helps the Republicans and it's gonna help them in the midterms because this is just atrocious.” — Vinnie Mac (08:39)
"Mark my words, the American people will know who to blame. And it’s not the Republicans. They’ve done their job, but the Democrats—so desperate to appease their radical base—they’re willing to grind the country to a halt." — Damon (07:13)
"All the effort that Trump has made... to shut things down that are horribly wasteful... if it gives us a path to actually shut those things down and permanently fire people from agencies that we know... are a waste of time, a waste of money and all that kind of stuff. Well, I’m laughing because this is funny." — Vinnie Mac (21:38)
“He’s had his differences with [Bibi Netanyahu] on certain things, but obviously, he’s still a huge supporter... Who else could have a 24 hours like he has had here?” — Damon (29:30)
"What sets Trump’s plan apart is that it also offers a genuine path to peace grounded in conditions that actually reflect realities on the ground...” — Damon (35:55)
This episode presents a highly charged, unapologetically partisan view of the impending government shutdown, centering blame on Democrats for standing in the way of a short-term deal. The hosts enthusiastically support recent Trump Administration actions, both domestic and foreign, and present the imminent OMB authority as a tool to reshape government. The excitement builds toward the Turning Point USA event, with a sense of history unfolding both in Washington and Utah.
Listeners are left with the sense that, should a shutdown occur, it will be used as leverage for sweeping changes—and that Real America’s Voice stands firmly behind this combative approach.
