This week we're going to take a look at the Pentagon. It was a big shakeup and they had all sorts of new media in there. Pete Hexent made a visit to our own people at raf. Also we're going to take a look at Trump. The media is pushing him about elf. Is this a scandal? Is this real or just manufactured to try to go after Trump? We're also going to take a look at old Bear. He had the new governor elect on from Jersey, how that was she's treated. We're also going to take a look at some inside the Beltway. Olivia Nuzo from the New Yorker for Vanity Fair, real well known New York journalist, has written a book. It's scandalous. We're going to show you how the media is covering it, however, and that more coming up on Media exposed.
Gabrielle Cacio
Do you dare to follow me down?
Adam Wise
What they do say is fake news.
Head into the unknown. That's how devious the media's become. They're full force activists now. They colluded.
Gabrielle Cacio

Sway's election, Sway's policy. We need to expose them. Republicans trash the country.
I've been doing this since I was 18. I've had hit jobs done against me. I've been attacked by media reporters.
I afraid no truth will prevail. Fake news media, we're here to call you out.

Media Exposed with Adam Wise starts now.
Adam Wise
Welcome back to Media Exposed. This week, early in the week, Stephen Colbert had Mickey, Cheryl, the governor elect of New Jersey on this show and all sorts of praise came from her. But isn't that the likely scenario when a Democrat wins, whether it's a governor, become a new star. Hollywood, the late night talk shows bring them on. We don't see any reference like that when it's a Republican. We're going to take a look at that. There was a big special election in Tennessee. The media wanted so bad. They wanted the narrative. They wanted a Republican to lose but he won. Was it as big as Trump victory last time around in the district? No. We're going to analyze that too. And also that more and we Trump went on a big Trump True Social Spree, 160 True Social Posts in one night. Is that humanly possible with Trump? Probably. Let me bring on my first guest, David Zier, host a Breaking Point on Real America's Voice. David, thanks for joining us as always.
David Zier
How are you, Adam?
Adam Wise
David, you had somewhat some week the new defense media. We'll talk about that later on this show. But you just got back from D.C. you know, so but I also want to talk on this because Stephen Colbert had Mickey Sherrill, the new governor, the new poster child. And you notice the media always does this. They turn the Democratic candidates into stars overnight. Hollywood stars, pop culture stars. We don't get such pleasure. Republicans don't. They turn them into we turn it they turn us into dark soldiers. They turn us into evil boogeymans. But let's take a look at this clip. Colbert presses Mickey Sheryl and he's only got about six months left. But let's go. Stephen Colbert, Mickey Sheryl on his show early in the week, played cup one. Well, you sure did because you won by 56.9% to 42.5%, which is 14.24 points, which.
Which, which like it which, which political experts call have a term for it's called a curb stomping. November 4th was big for you. Abigail Spamberger and Zoran Mandani here in the city. What ideas? What do you think? Do you think there's a commonality between any of those victories?
Gabrielle Cacio
Yeah, I think fighting hard for people, listening to people on the ground and delivering on a different vision than what is being presented by the president in Washington. And people, I think right now, it's these are scary times.
And to navigate these is going to take some real leadership.
Adam Wise
Donald Trump was one of the reasons why you ran for Congress.
You know, you saw the crisis of the moment. And what does resisting his agenda look like to you now that you be a governor of a state?
Gabrielle Cacio
So obviously, there are areas where I really need the federal government to start performing better when it comes to infrastructure, when it comes to SNAP schools, medical care, et cetera, et cetera. So we're going to fight that and work with, with anybody in the administration who we can to deliver on those promises. But that doesn't mean in any way, shape or form hiding or ducking or not standing up against those things that are going on that are so wrong. I mean, you know, I'm glad you're sitting down. You might not know this. Some people are losing their jobs because they're speaking out against the President of the United States?
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
Yeah.
Adam Wise
Are you talking about horrible? I hope you got something to back that up with. No, I think, David, Stephen Bovet was propped up by culture, the media, and he was losing lots of money. I don't think he's losing his job because of Trump, but this really forecasts the media exactly where they play it. The late night comments. He's pushing her. She's on as a guest and he's pushing her to attack Trump. Why does it always have to be about Trump with these late night talk comedians? He's supposed to be a comedian. Late night pleasure. What do you think of that whole clip?
David Zier
I think the show was losing about $40 million. So it wasn't because he spoke out against Trump. It's because the show is awful and he's not funny. And you know, the Chatterelli race with Sheryl really wasn't the bellwether nationwide, even though The Dems are up plus 4 in the last six major polls to take back Congress. And it's a problem. But Chatterelli lost by 14.4 points in this election. He lost by only three in 2021. And there was some fraud, but probably not enough to bridge the gap. And this time he got clobbered. But that was more statement about consultants, the machine, maybe not embracing Magger in certain areas. And so, you know, because Trump cut the lead down from 11 to 6 in the presidential election, 2024 in New Jersey. So Chattarelli should have done better. But yeah, Colbert, not funny.
Adam Wise
Not at all. And they propped them up to be an attack dog right away. When she needs federal government, she needs help. And I don't know why they have to play that attack mode. And we always just get along once in a while. There was a big election. Matt Van Epps won in Tennessee. These radical woman who like, talk bad about Tennessee, talk bad about Nashville, really bad. It was podcast chaos. She put all the women down there and she still got 77% in Nashville. But it was closer than expected. I think it was about eight points. I want to show you how Matt Van Epps thanking Trump. Let's go to cut to here.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
Tonight we showed running from Trump is how you lose. Running with Trump is how you win.
Ed Woodson
Our victory was powered by supporters of.
Adam Wise
President Trump turning out to vote. The president built the largest, most diverse.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
Coalition to ever elect a Republican. And we leaned in on that. President Trump was all in with us and it made the difference.
Adam Wise
He's got a point because David. He's got a point because if it's not the presidential election and you really need to get people out. But you're like wishy washy about Trump. They're just going to stay home, right? So if you're in, you better be all in to excite people to get them out. And he was. And Jack Shitarella, like you mentioned before, wasn't all in. He was endorsed, but he wasn't. Like he never brought Trump in for a rally, which probably would have helped him.
David Zier
Well, remember Ben, the Democratic candidate foiled herself here. You know, she ripped apart the people of Nashville. Country music and it's also an off year, special election after Thanksgiving. But the GOP didn't do as good as they think here. Trump won that district by 22 last time. He won by 15 there in 2020. So the Dems gained 13 points on the Republicans in this race. If she lost by nine points here against the Republic candidate Matt Van Epps, it's something to worry about for the midterms and. But I don't think it was a surprise that she lost here. Showing contempt for our own constituents in Nashville.
Adam Wise
Some of the districts where we grew up, David, we had the Republicans have much tougher time to win the majority because that's supposed to be a really big GOP district plus and it was closer than a lot closer. The districts where we are around these, they're very, you know, Republicans win their district by slim margin. Suburban, rural district. Dems have a lot easier time. They win the big cities by big numbers. It's a much easier time to get there. You had a big week. David, tell us a little bit about the Defense Department. You were there, you met, you sat down with all sorts of high level officials because they brought in new media. And what was that like? David, tell our audience the new media because they said to the mainstream media, hey, you don't want to sign. Tell the audience what it was like.
David Zier
Well, listen, it was a free for all down there before people roaming the halls, grabbing generals as they walked out of their offices, talking to people in the hallways and reporting it as news. They wanted to get control in the Pentagon here just like any other federal building. You can't do that in the White House. Right? So there was a lot of nonsense going on, I think, and there was a lot of beat reporters who spent years developing relationship there. So I'm not knocking everyone in the legacy media, but the legacy media has also been coming out and blasting the new media that was there, including real America's Voice news that were all a bunch of Trump sycophants and hacks. But I got to tell you, we asked tough questions down there. You know, when are they going to reinstate the troops who refused the vax and get them back their benefits? When a senior official is going to be held accountable for the Afghanistan early withdrawal. And we asked legal questions about the boat strikes and other things, whether they're treated under international law or any treaties and all that other stuff. We really got into it and what was really impressive and I can't talk about the details, we had an off the record briefing with Hegseth. He couldn't have been more genuine and more nicer as per our usual interactions with him over the years. And it was really extraordinary. And I was impressed with the quality of most of the new media that were there. And I think some of the MSM wants back in now. I think they're regretting their attorneys maybe overreacting because all they were asking them to do is the science agreement that they can report unauthorized information coming out of the Pentagon from, from Pentagon officials. And yeah, it was, it was an exceptional week. And the people in the Pentagon are dedicated to our country. And I just want to say they love Trump over there.
Adam Wise
David, thank you for joining us and thank you for covering the Defense Department this week. Up next, we're going to talk about that the Pentagon press shake up the strikes and the boats that More coming up on Media Exposed.

Welcome back to Media Exposed. The Pentagon's big press shakeup this week shows a deepening tension between the mainstream media, the Pentagon leadership and the Defense Secretary. It's about who wants to control the narrative. The targeted removal, while they didn't want to sign on to this form shows how reporters in the press are quietly being decentralized and they brought in this new massive amounts of alternative media. New media they called it, while legacy media is framing it as a review as they're waiting on the sidelines. But the real story is government institutions deciding which journalists get to hold to accountability and which ones don't. If that's the way it's supposed to be in this democracy, this moment may signal a turning point. Does the Pentagon move toward more open transparency in the future or clamp down or does continue this path of selective access? I want to welcome my next guest. Gabriel. I wanted to. Rick. Gabby Cacio was the former, you know, defense spokesperson for One America's news Network. She also a former White House official for two administrations, so can't say she just was for Trump. She also worked for Obama. Gabby, thanks for joining us again.
Gabrielle Cacio
Yeah, thank you, Adam, for having me. Appreciate it.
Adam Wise
Gabby, you know, because you were there at the beginning, you were actually the main, you were actually the reporter and the maintenance and the painter and the professional carpenter at the same time because you were putting together a whole room for like three weeks. And I don't think you got overtime for being the carpenter, did you?
Gabrielle Cacio
No, I did not. But yeah, to answer to that, I was the Pentagon, the chief Pentagon correspondent for One American News at that time. And I was the very first person to come in at the Pentagon as new media. As soon as Hegseth was announcing that there was going to be an exodus of say, the New York Times, cnn, you know, all the likes of those types of typical outlets who traditionally had. They were booths, they were stud booths in which they were able to actually outfit a whole studio, have guests go live, all the works. And so that was a very big deal for a new media outlet to be let into those rooms because a lot of those people have actually been there for at a minimum 20 years. There's people that had been there before I was even born in those suites, in those offices. So I didn't take the job lightly whatsoever. But of course, we do know with a quick sweep of the Googler, I was ousted out of of the Pentagon and had some personal experiences in which the Pentagon officials addressed my media network to let them know that they were frustrated with my questioning and my reporting. So I hope that this new Pentagon press corps that is in there does not experience the same elements that I did. But again, with that new press protocol, yes, of course there's security requirements and a memorandum of understanding when you're in any federal building. But it is quite by and large even one of the line items saying that it can be criminal punishment for revealing to the public unauthorized disclosures. So in simplest terms, right, Anything that the public finds out about breaking news, it doesn't have to be about the DoD, it can be anything else in America that isn't authorized public news. That's why we call them leaks. Right. Or you find them by your own investigative journalist work on your very own. So it's an interesting protocol and I'm hopeful, but we'll have to see what that looks like in real time.
Adam Wise
But I wasn't even sure because there was no press briefings when basically when you were there. I mean, I don't think, I don't think the press secretary had any while you were there.
Gabrielle Cacio
No.
Adam Wise
So I think you would just. I don't even think, I don't even know what they got upset at you about. Something on Substack. But let's, that's for another day. We can discuss that. I wanted to discuss the new meteor in there too because let's go to cut three here and Carolyn speaking here. I want to show you what she says.
Gabrielle Cacio
The strike conducted on September 2nd was conducted in self defense to protect Americans in vital United States interests. The strike was conducted in international waters and in accordance with the law of armed Conflict.
Adam Wise
Well, the law of armed conflict says survivors have to be rescued, they can't be killed. That's very clear. It's in the Uniform Code of Military justice and it's in, it's in federal law. So we'll see where this goes. I think that both houses of Congress are going to investigate it. She goes on to say this. I just wanted to read this. Quote, the President has made it quite clear that if narco terrorists are again trafficking illegal drugs towards the United States, he, meaning the President, has the authority to kill them. That is what this administration is doing.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
End quote, killing 11 in that moment. So you're saying that's not a good defense.
Adam Wise
This is a war crime. That from your. Correct, correct.
David Zier
Even Congress.
Adam Wise
Heavy words, very heavy words.
David Zier
Which is why I prefaced it by.
Adam Wise
Saying it gives me no pleasure to do it. I'm accusing them of crimes that could incarcerate them or even execute them. If this stuff was enforced to the hilt.
David Zier
I wish it hadn't happened and I.
Adam Wise
Wish I didn't have to say it, but I have to be intellectually honest.
David Zier
About what I'm observing here.
Adam Wise
You don't see any other side that. Because you're very well versed in the law.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
We know that you don't see any.
Adam Wise
Other side argument for the administration other.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
Than a war crime is committed.
Adam Wise
There is no other avenue to look at this.
David Zier
Look, narco terrorist is not a.
Adam Wise
Is not a legal term. It's a political term. And using that political term does not justify labeled terrorists by the administration, doesn't that? Indeed, that was, you know, Gabrielle, as you see, that was about the boat strikes. And I'd like to err on the side of life first. And then that one was specifically about one of the boats that was blown up and supposedly two of them got off. And then there's this discrepancy. We don't know if they got back on, but it was. They sent in another missile and they killed them all. I didn't like that from the beginning that they were just firing these, these Venezuelan boats are what, over a thousand miles away? I mean, I just feel like with. There's a mistake. We just killed human life. What do you think? And. And God forbid the Democrats win. Oh, man, these hearings that will go on forever about this. Right? Give me your thoughts on the, the.
Gabrielle Cacio
Oh, yeah.
Adam Wise
On the boats.
Gabrielle Cacio
Yeah. I'm sure you can expect, as we're seeing this week already with Admiral Bradley being called in for questioning in a skiff over at Capitol Hill. So, like that's expected when it comes to these types of moments, especially in the DoD or DoW, in which there has to be an answer from the government when they start going kinetic and it starts to become public information. I would like to point out that the government has been operating within Venezuela for the past at least six years, to my knowledge, just not in a public capacity. So there is this interesting dichotomy happening of things that we do as the United States government in Venezuelan borders, covertly or clandestinely, and then also now we're seeing it being public facing as of just recently. So the US Government hasn't been necessarily transparent in the operations. And I'm sure there might be obvious reasons for that. But then at the same rate, when you talk about the war on terror and Eugene depict terrorists, the rules of Engagement are going to be different on land than they are going to be on sea and also air. Right. And so if we're looking at this as, hey, we need to protect our borders, and this is something that, of course, we've seen during the campaign cycle that it was a huge issue for Americans to get on board with, well, then the question beckons. What other avenues are we going towards controlling the border? This, it seems to be in the name of, okay, there was drugs on this boat, but why not also be looking at, say, the countries like Colombia or any other countries down at the southern border? So there's to be looking at Venezuela. It's not as cut and dry. And I think this is really great that Americans, even you add imposing the question of, like, is this right or is this wrong? We can look at the legality of all of it. The administration looking to depict these individuals and these groups as terrorists, number one. But, but is this genuinely about drugs? We've seen just as of late, it's finally getting some momentum. A lot of reporting about Venezuela and the implications of our electoral voter systems. But we've also have a conversation about, well, is this part of regime change? Because now we've been very explicit on how our sentiment with the United States government versus Maduro is. So there's three separate things happening at the same time. And the administration, you know, when that first came out, there's also that other element of public perception and the fact that the Secretary of War did say that this was not true, and then it turned into, okay, yes, there was a second strike and then it was. It wasn't me who authorized it. Now it's General Bradley and I'm sorry, Admiral Bradley. And I can say from the special warfare community that Admiral Bradley is highly regarded and he's been in his. He's been serving. That man is off the top of my head. I don't know his exact tenure, but. But at least about 30 some odd years that that man has been given his life to this country. So I highly doubt that he made a reckless decision. So there is a little bit of an element too, of the government at the highest level putting maybe pressure on Bradley to answer to this versus the actual administration as well. Adam. So there's a lot of, there's a lot of.
Adam Wise
Thank you for that. I want to play a real quick. I want to go because I want to discuss the new media outlets with you that were all. There was so many of them, 30, 40. Because again, the mainstream legacy, we would call them all decided not to, you know, sign this declaration form, whatever you want to call it. So let's take a look at this question really fast. It was cut forth from Cam Higby. I don't know if he's a reporter or a content creator or what we call him. But let's go to cut one.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
Can you tell me, since you're the press secretary, what was the environment like here with the old press corps?
Ed Woodson
There's a lot of talk online about.
Adam Wise
Us and our level of professionalism. I'm interested to hear what the level.
Ed Woodson
Of professionalism was like before.
Adam Wise
I've heard stories about ambushing people outside.
Ed Woodson
Their offices, making a hostile work environment.
Commercial Voice/Advertiser
For everyone who works in the Dow.
Ed Woodson
What was that like?
Gabrielle Cacio
Oh, it was absolutely crazy. The Pentagon press corps, the former Pentagon press corps, I should say, basically had free reign of the building. They were able to go wherever they wanted. My first weeks here, they just waltzed in my office, office, rang my doorbell literally non stop. My doorbell was going off probably every single second because they were just trying to come in, trying to hang out, would push their way in. If someone else came in for a meeting, would just follow them along real.
Adam Wise
Quick because we, I wanted to go longer in this, but was that true? Did they just wander around everywhere and go and did it? Give me your final 30 seconds on your thoughts on that.
Gabrielle Cacio
Yeah, final 30 seconds is that government building has security protocols mandated in place with cameras, with locks on the doors, with skiffs being identified. I by no means was able to just roam around freely and access classified information. I had tried to speak with administration officials by ringing their doorbell. That was something that's always been encouraged when I've done my reporting in other government entities and other buildings. Is encouraged to try and schedule a meeting or just to hit that doorbell. I honestly was the most quiet and people, actually, most of those reports were pivoting to the State Department because there was no press briefing to include Kingsley Wilson, the press secretary who held her first and only press briefing on record. Got it yesterday.
Adam Wise
Gabby, thanks for joining us. Good luck and thank you soon. And thank you. Coming up next, we're going to talk about Trump's mri. How's the media treating House health and how did they treat Biden's health reports that more coming up.

Welcome back to Media Exposed. It was the week of the mri. Gavin Newsom mocked Trump over his perfectly normal MRI by claiming he's relieved Trump's brain isn't more damaged than expected. Kind of rude. The left treats Trump and the media's medical disclose as comedy fodder while avoiding any real discussions of Biden's health for five years. Isn't this silly? Fox News noted. Even Fox News noted the press is suddenly obsessed with Trump's mri, even asking doctors to analyze it. When do we get into the weeds of MRIs and people's personal medical records? Not with Biden. Can't talk about it, right? The same outlets have spent years dismissing downplaying Biden's very real health concerns. Contrast is blatant. When it's Trump, every scrape, every mark is analyzed or scammed becomes a national crisis. When it's Biden, the media immediately calls it misinformation, a deep fake, all these weird words they came up with or a right wing narrative. I want to welcome my next guest. Edward Woodson, a political commentator would join. Thanks for the first time joining us on Media Exposed.
Ed, for like years we had a guy who was like half brain dead, half dead to the world would go to sleep. Well, you know, check out at 2:00'. Clock. You know, with, with Trump it's, you know, as my friend told me, this psychiatrist friend, he says chiropractor's definition of, of health is how they function like their body functions. Right. That's how chiropractors look at age and grooming. Trump's physical body and how he functions is still unbelievable. How he moves, right? But like the press was so worried last week about his mri. I want to go to his cut here, which Trump was talking about. It's Going to cut five. Watch this. But you always find something new, like, is he in good health? Biden was great, but I, he's Trump in good health.
I sit here, I do news, four news conferences a day. I ask questions from very intelligent lunatics, you people.
I give the right answers. There's never a scandal, there's never a problem. I give you answers that solve your little problems. You go back and you can't find anything, but you do stories about Biden was in wonderful health. The guy didn't do a news conference for eight months. If I go one day, I had one day where I didn't do a news conference, there's something wrong with the president.
You people are crazy. I'll let you know when there's something wrong. There will be someday that's going to happen to all of us. But right now I think I'm sharper than I was 25 years ago. But who the hell does, you know? I saw Ed, I saw Scott Besson on a New York Times panel yesterday and they were like, he went right back at it. It was in the city. And he was like, you people tell me Trump is losing his. And he's texting me at two in the morning over and over again and calling me at 2 in the morning like, wow, he's up 2 in the morning and gets up at 6. This guy has unbelievable energy. But did you notice last week they were all hyped up about this MRI and his health, Trump, anything to get him. What do you think of that?
Ed Woodson
Well, what I think it's amazing how, remember we heard for years during the first Trump administration how 24th Amendment, remember that? 24th Amendment, 24th Amendment. And then interestingly enough, we didn't hear anything about the 24th Amendment during the Biden administration. Remember, not a peep from the media by the 24th Amendment. And now again, we're talking about the veracity of this guy. This guy just sat through a three hour cabinet meeting. Think about that for a second. Did Joe Biden ever have a three hour cabinet meeting? I think not. And I saw what you were referring to with the Scott Bessett interview with, I think it was with Ross Sorkin where he basically demolished him in under a minute. Again, he kind of referenced the 24th amendment. And I just think it's interesting how the media talked about that with the first Trump administration, but never said a word during the Biden administration.
Adam Wise
And that's very important because Trump's energy for a man his age is unbelievable. I remember during the 2020 election Ed. I turned around it was the day two days before the election in 2020 he lands. It was a Miami private airport. He always used to do these rallies at private airports so he can land right in do it. He landed at 12:30 at night. He spoke for off the cuff for an hour. I turned around over 20,000 people there and it was fourth, fourth stop of the day. I said oh my God, he's never going to lose. Look at all these people. And I knew from all different industries, yet they probably stole it from him. And he did lose that one. But his energy has always been like that. It's unbelievable. But I want to show you. Let's go to cut six. Liddy Moynihan, she was on CDN and for the New York Post. Watch how she answered this critique.
Gabrielle Cacio
The mainstream media has no credibility on the issue. The same people who are not totally agree with you that Biden, they weren't the one saying that Biden was doing a whole 100% fine. After tripping. Biden is declared healthy and vigorous.
Donald Trump made an issue about Donald Trump. Use your eyes. That's violent. You could use your eyes with Biden and see he was trailing offensive. But you should also say that was your eyes with Donald Trump and see. You could also say that he's done dozens of press conferences this month. People are.
Raising borders. People are struggle to keep up with. People are raising the point.
David Zier
I think.
Gabrielle Cacio
There should probably be for.
David Zier
The people who were defending Joe Biden.
Gabrielle Cacio
They should probably have a seat in this conversation.
David Zier
I don't know that anybody at this.
Gabrielle Cacio
Particular table comes back at him. I think that that's exactly my point. Thirteen countries.
But we're missing. Let me just say this again. We're missing the point. You have a 79 year old man and we should be having.
Thomas English
I.
Anyway.
Adam Wise
And I don't want to. I don't want to.
Well, maybe choose my words. I was just thinking.
Thomas English
Anyway, I just look I mean.
Adam Wise
Putin's kleptocracy.
Yeah.
It was in.
January after being elected.
Ed Woodson
The late January, early February.
Adam Wise
He said it's not. We need.
Not just. Well, I won't go into it. Here's what drives the driver in the states that are affected. Here's what you can do the drivers.
Thomas English
I.
Adam Wise
For two reasons. One to Ed, I you know, we can keep going ed for, for 10 hours for Biden clips like that. But the stories were never written. You notice from the media. They hit it. They hit his prostate cancer. Probably nobody ever digged into that. I Mean, Biden and his doctor hid it from the American people, which is another scandal in its. But what a difference Biden compared to Trump and how the media cover it. Right, sure.
Ed Woodson
Look, and that video is very telling. And by the way, that video is very representative of the entire Biden administration years, I should say the Biden years, where he was pretty much incapacitated the whole time. And you're right, you look at the energy level of Donald Trump, you know, here's a guy, he's 79 years old and he's got much more vigor and I would say than you and I put together. You know, this guy, he hardly sleeps. It's amazing. You know, he's, he's up at all hours of the night, he's up early in the morning. And in terms of the, you know, the vigor of this guy, you gotta, you gotta give him props for that, first of all. And then secondly, again, the video is worth a thousand words because you can just see it. And remember, we were told by the media always, you know, don't believe your lion eyes. Remember that. Don't believe your lion eyes. He's as sharp as attack. And that was obviously a lie.
Adam Wise
I can remember back in. Was it 7 2017, they had like hundreds of psychiatrists, psychologists, pen a letter about Trump's mental capacity. None of them were as a doctor, but they were so fixated on saying he's out of control, he has mental problems. Anything to get Trump from. Did you, do you remember any letters about Biden? Do you remember any doctors coming on about Biden's health? All they did was say it was conspiracy, it was right wing, you know, hit pieces, and it was deep fakes. And it was also deep fakes. Who even know what deep fakes were? They came up with all sorts of these justifications that people will call, would, wanted to investigate, look at the Biden's health, and they would attack them. But that's the media game. Right. Instead of saying, let's look at Biden's health, they would attack the people that asked to look at Biden itself in the media. And that was a scale in itself, the way the media covered Biden. And it should go down as a sad state in history. Right. Ed, what do you think of that? The way they was so ridiculous.
Ed Woodson
Absolutely. In fact, if you think about the media was just an arm of the administration, the Biden administration, they were an arm of the DNC and they did everything they could to cover up this guy's mental capacity. They kept telling us, hey, you Know, don't believe your lion eyes. Don't believe what you see. He's as sharp as attack. I know for a fact, I've been in meetings with the guy and you know, we could see what was going on. We could see and they tried to gaslight us by telling us, oh no, no, that's not what's going on. Where we could see it plainly. And they tried to, you know, tell us that he was fine the whole time he was fine and we knew he wasn't fine. And he was exposed in that first debate where, you know, he had to essentially, basically give it up at that point. And then they brought in Kamala Harris, which was another debacle in and of itself. But that's for another time.
Adam Wise
Right? And then Trump. Have you ever seen a profile of Trump's amazing stamina, his amazing functional abilities? Never. Have you give me your final thoughts on, on have you ever seen delightful about Trump? Give me a final 20 seconds.
Again.
Ed Woodson
It's amazing that this guy does the things he does like you say, I mean the rallies, the fact that he can sit there and have pretty much almost daily press conferences. Think about Biden, how he was shielded from the media and he never gave any press conferences at all. This guy's constantly, constantly in the media, in the eye of the media, answering questions, doing these, these, these cabinet meetings, these impromptu press conferences. I mean it really is, it's an incredible testament to his stamina and the vigor of this guy, a 79 year old man.
Adam Wise
Ed, thanks for joining us on media expos. I'll see you soon. Thanks again, Ed. Coming up, we're going to take a look at this Olivia Nuzo book coming out that's being celebrated by the media. A lot of scandals within this book book we take a look history, a book and how the media is covered that more coming up on Media exposure.
Welcome back to Media Exposed. I want to take a look at this book, a book out by Elizabeth Olivia Nuzo. She was a well known, you know, establishment journalist who started a career the Daily Beast, then went to the New Yorker, then went to Bloomberg and now is the Vanity Affair west coast editor, but supposedly Shannon Fair was married to Ryan Lizzo, was dating Keith Olbermann, supposedly had some sort of affair with, with RFK Jr. So it's very scandalous. The book, I don't even know if it's officially out yet. But you know, I've been wanting to deep into this because it really holds a piece of the culture media and how they look at themselves and cover themselves. And I and who came up questioning yesterday and I saw him online talking about this was Thomas English. He's editor at the Daily Caller. Thomas, thanks for joining us. The first time on Media Exposed.
Thomas English
Thank you so much for having me. Adam. This really is as I excuse me.
Adam Wise
As I let me say Thomas, as I I wanted to cover this right. For a while and you just, and you know, somehow maybe I manifested it and then you popped up with your video all about it. And I said this is a sign we have to talk about this because the mainstream media, we talk about media, we talk about media buyers, but they're so into this this and so far it hasn't resulted into good book sales. At the end of the day, that's what matters about this because the big book publishing gave her a big book deal and made her wealthy. These little scandals here. Give me your thoughts what we're going to tell me but I just want to cover how this all came about and how we're covering a good times.
Thomas English
Absolutely. You know, it really is one of the more obscene things in media going on right now. I the book is out American Canto. I've had had the misfortune of reading probably 20 to 40 pages of it already and it is the most purple prose onanistic self congratulatory nonsense that you have ever read. I'm not sure what the point is. Maybe I'll have to read the other 260 pages, but it seems to be an attempt to salvage a disgraced career and it's only digging herself deeper in whatever hole she is in. But you know, throughout this book she alleges that she had this online digital relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. While working at the New Yorker and while she had been assigned to profile him and you know, they fell in love, one thing went to let one thing led to another and they have this entire amorous sexting relationship. A lot of it gets quite explicit, but the entire book is filled with this allegory and metaphor that never quite goes anywhere. You're never really sure what it represents. It's the markings of a good writer who has been told she's good too many times. It's just overengineered. But I will say that what kind of offends me the most about this entire saga is that after getting canned from the New Yorker magazine, she immediately takes on a high post at Vanity Fair as the west coast senator. It's a really big position and it really speaks to how seriously the legacy media takes the ethics that they're always talking so much about that she can immediately leapfrog into an arguably more prestigious job after. After a flagrant violation of journalistic ethics that she performed just months prior. So I just, I find it ridiculous.
Adam Wise
If you're retired, Tim, if you reverse the situation. It was a conservative journalist fooling around with men, sexting them, a high level official. They'd be kicked into the curb so fast into the garbage pits of history and be denigrated. But somehow the legacy media celebrates behavior. Wrong. Because one of their own, they celebrate. And that's part of, you know, the culture that we live in. When you're part of the liberal establishment elite, they celebrate you. What do you mean they celebrate you? They get book deals. And just like you said, there's nothing that interesting probably in this book. But yes, you probably got a big advance and it's another shot at the stupid publishing houses that give them the book deals. And they're not, they don't result in sales. Right. Because it's too much in the weeds. You know, we're going to make it interesting here, you and I, because we're going to show how this bubble takes themselves so seriously. They get the book deals. They keep talking about our mediaite, which is me. For folks out there, media is their own little circle. It's like the bible of media. They cover it every day, but it hasn't resulted into pop. Large enough pop culture to get book sales. Here, I want to take show you this clip here. Tim Miller, who used to be actually a Republican, he was, she was on his podcast and he kind of hammers about rfk. Let's go to cut eight. Watch this.
Interviewer
You're also writing about what happened after, right? Like after he betrays you, after he leaks about you, after he ghosts you. And at that point, like if you look back on a campaign where at some points you were like giving him advice and running down information for him, do you feel like he was using, like, was it just he was using you and you sacrificed?
Gabrielle Cacio
Possibly, but I, But I reveal those things, right? Like that's. I guess maybe we just have different styles. Like, that's my way of.
Telling you what I think.
Interviewer
Yeah, well, we don't. We certainly have different styles and that's good because we're supposed to be different. But I'm like mad. I'm madder at him than you are. I'm mad at him. I'm like, you rfk the way you treated Olivia and what you're doing right now, honestly. And like when I'm in the book, like, you are hard on yourself, you're hard on some other people.
There are more things that I think that you could reveal about him. I would assume that you've chosen not to. And if he betrayed you.
Why not reveal the truth about him?
Adam Wise
I think I did. I mean, the fact that you had.
Gabrielle Cacio
That reaction tells me that.
I gave you enough information.
Interviewer
But have you given us enough information? That is in the public interest, I guess, is my question. Right.
Adam Wise
Like, I think so.
Interviewer
The New York Times asked you if you, if he had text you, if you had, if you had released them. Like, shouldn't you, like, shouldn't you just empty the clip is what I'm saying. Like, shouldn't you give people everything that you have so that we're not left to kind of like, like wonder?
Adam Wise
I think people have taken from me.
Gabrielle Cacio
Quite a lot over this process.
Adam Wise
Right.
Gabrielle Cacio
It's like, how much more do I have to violate myself?
Adam Wise
I find that. I find that basically silly, maybe from a different generation. They actually did. They actually texted. That's all they did. And they're going deep in this conversation. Like they. The way they're having that conversation is like they slept together, they had a relationship for a year, he was cheating on his wife, they texted at the end of the day, right?
Thomas English
Yeah.
Adam Wise
And this is what he's badgering about. It's so bizarre that they're trying to make this a scandal when maybe I'm a different culture, a different generation. What's your thoughts on that clip?
Thomas English
Well, I mean, what's very funny about this clip is that he's looking very clearly for some way to get an rfk, and by proxy, the Trump administration generally. And he's a left wing journalist. He used to be on the jet Boat Roche campaign. So I get that. But what's very funny is that he can't do that. He's like, well, why didn't you go after RFK in this book? Well, because the entire book is about herself. Like, the most interesting part of the book is, are the people she's having these pseudo sexual relationships with. But the entire book is about her own. It's about the wallpaper having mushrooms on it. It's about a cockroach she saw on the ground. It's about the Malibu fires and how it's representative of her life burning down. It's the most pseudo intellectual drivel that you have ever read. And it has nothing interesting to say, positive or negative, about the actually important people who are involved in this book.
I think what's Most upsetting to me about this saga. Well, also another thing I wanted to mention is that this is something Olivia Nuzzi allegedly has a pattern of doing. Her ex fiance, Ryan Lizza, who was unfortunately caught in the middle of all of this.
Wrote many exposes about her over the past couple of weeks and alleged that he she had a physical sexual relationship with former congressman from South Carolina, Mark Sanford. There's even a picture, a drawing that Olivia Nussi did of him in 2020. And this is something a girl does when she likes you, right? But yeah, I mean it's. It's just. It's so obscene.
Adam Wise
Isn't that the same Sam Thomas? Isn't that the same Sam. Isn't that the same Thomas Sanford that took off with his mistress and they couldn't find him for a couple of days. So that might be believable too. But then she criticized many such cases. Our great ug, right, a great old Keith Olbermann she had. She also lived with him for a while and then she went after him in the book too, at other places that he was kind of her sugar daddy. And he shot back at her too. So this whole saga seems bizarre. It seems really inside the beltway. But like I said earlier, you think, let me ask you, will you think it will lead to any sort of sales at the end of the day? What do you think?
David Zier
Honestly?
Thomas English
Yeah, I think it probably will because people are morbidly curious about it. Even the ladies in my office, they're treating this as though it's like a politico political Bravo TV of sorts. It's juicy, it's salacious. So yeah, I probably will, you know, if it bleeds, it leads type type of thing.
Adam Wise
I guess we can call this the Real Housewives of Olivia Nuzo's own saga within our own circle because. And then look where she started off, right? It follows the path to Delhi Beast, one of the most offenders of liberal trash going after conservatives. But like Olivia is what you think and you think after all this to be the Vanity Fair west coast editor they were. How do they reward. These are most. One of the most elite publications in the country. Vanity Fair, very elite. Hollywood likes it, pop culture likes it. And they reward behavior like this. It's silly that the media does that, but that's what they do. Give me your thoughts. That should she actually hold positions like that after this book comes out, after these interviews? What do you think? Give me a final thought.
Thomas English
She should be. Final thoughts. She should be unemployable after this. But the fact is that the left protects its own and it also elevates mediocrity. She's a mediocre wr. She's not particularly interesting. She's not that bright. And it's just, there's nothing excellent about it. There's nothing impressive. And this is sort of, I think, a good exemplar of the entire leftist ideology is that it elevates mediocrity and.
Adam Wise
It protects its own and it celebrates mediocre and celebrates bad behavior and they get deals out of it. Thomas, thanks for joining us. First time Media Exposed. Thank you again.
