What makes you you? Welcome to Media Exposed. This week we're going to take a look at the President and how he was heckled while visiting a plant. Why was that and what was the repercussion of that? We're going to look at our own David Zier. He was highlighted. He was was he was it funny. Did late night comments finally have something funny? We take a look at that. What's going to Tony to Cupolo. First week and a half on the job. How's the media covering him? CBS Evening News. We're going to take a look at that. We're thinking Minnesota and all these agitators and what kind of new agitator is on the scene and causing all sorts of trouble that more coming up on Media Exposed.

That's how devious the media has become. They're full force activists now. They colluded. Trump folks were in on it. Sways elections, sways policy. We need to expose them. Republicans trash the country. I've been doing this since I was 18. I've had hit jobs done against me. I've been attacked by media reporters. Am I afraid no truth will prevail? Fake news media, we're here to call you out.

Media Exposed with Adam Wise starts now.
Adam Wise
Welcome back to Media Exposed. It was our own David Zier who was in Minnesota and getting heckled non stop by the agitators in the brutal cold. I want to welcome David in. David, our first guest exposed. David, thanks for joining us.
David Zier
Thanks for having me. Adam. Exciting week on the ground in Minneapolis. Let me tell you that for sure.
Adam Wise
David. All things said and done. Yeah, we've done a lot of segments over the last year and a half. Two years or more on late night comics. I think this was the first time I've seen Jimmy Kimmel. Funny. You tell me. And who was the superstar in this? Let's go to your cut. One here old nut is rambling about. But the protests in Minneapolis are real enough for the Magaverse media to descend upon them. This Fox wannabe channel called Real America's Voice sent a reporter to the scene. Now stick with this because she's the woman's kind of annoying at first but it gets very funny as it goes along.
David Zier
I'm just trying to have an intelligent conversation. We're just trying to have an intelligent conversation.
Adam Wise
Tall man. I'm a big and tall man.
David Zier
I don't act this way.
Adam Wise
I'm a big tall man.
David Zier
You want to engage an intelligent conversation.
Adam Wise
A big and tall.
David Zier
This is what we're dealing with on the ground.
Adam Wise
Yep.
David Zier
All over.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
That's right.
David Zier
Actually I'm very respectful and you're not respectful at all in any way. I just want to ask do you believe in illegal immigration? Do you think U. S. Taxpayers should be funding housing to illegals and medical care.
Adam Wise
Man. He's so intelligent. This man. He's got nothing to say back to you, Jeff. I think that's the only time I've lived I've laughed at Jimmy Kimmel in a decade. So she's going off when you big and tall, man. She's got nothing to say. But you didn't even say anything. You're just trying to say. I want to be respectful, man. Was there something early? Is there something early we missed? But I'm glad.
David Zier
Yeah.
Adam Wise
And look, we. Rav Rav has our own character. We're not the wannabe Foxes. Fox. Right? Jimmy, get that right.
David Zier
No, listen. P.T. barnum said any press is good press as long as they get your name right. But let me tell you, this could have been a public service announcement for mental illness. That's what was funny about it. And Kimmel wasn't funny. But I will say I messed up. I should have asked her if she was flirting with me. These people were crazy. But it's part of a broader network of people who interrupt you and have to cut you off anytime you have to ask a relevant question. Just like I interviewed three women and the other two were pretty dumb and couldn't answer the questions. And I was being really respectful. And she had to jump in front of us and call off the interview, blow her ice whistle. Radioed ahead for help. And a thousand people descended upon us and it got violent and we had to escape. We're lucky we were able to because security was ready to pull their weapons out. It was really rough. These people are crazy.
Adam Wise
You know, David, everything the President does, obviously, is newsworthy. He goes in to talk about economic message, goes to Ford and it gets overdrawn. Overdrawn by the middle finger. Somebody, Somebody. He gave somebody the middle finger. I want to show you the clip first and tell you what happened after. Let's go to cut two here. So what happened? David? Screaming. That guy was screaming pedophile protector. He's a worker down in Ford. Calling the president pedal. The President is who? He is getting the middle finger back. And the media jumped right up. And this guy. Now this guy has a GoFundMe page. David. I think he's close to 400,000 that he's raised because he was suspended. And the New York Times says Trump heckles worker and the President. And a defiant Subula. That was his name. Who suspended. Told the Washington Post that he has no regrets about embarrassing the President. But things are looking up because the Guy's already got about $400,000 or more as we're, you know, filming here, taping here. It's ridiculous, our society. Shouldn't it be some decorum there? What do you think of that?
Public Sponsor
He shouldn't.
Adam Wise
The way the media is covering it.
David Zier
He shouldn't be entitled to a red cent because, you know, you're representing the motor plant, you're not representing yourself in that situation. And was very disrespectful. And listen, Trump is really funny. You know, we covered the, the Al Smith dinner last year, Harry Oates and I, and Trump got up there and said, I never knew men could have periods until I met Tim Walsh. You know, he's very funny. Listen, could he showed a little more decorum probably, but that guy deserved every bit of that.
Adam Wise
But it's wild how the media's framing it as Trump's the bad guy. It's like disrespectful worker gets suspended for total lack of quorum in front of the President of the United States. Anything like that ever would have happened a decade or two again, right away the person would be fired for that behavior. But I saw something else, David. There was a big U haul that this supposedly Muslim extremist drove in. We couldn't figure out the name for a day and a half, as typical with these. And he was rammed into a crowd. And what do you know, the media was writing funny things. But I want to show you just cut three how it happened first, how the crowd mobbed into it, the driver. Let's go to cut three. Do you wanna, You know, you were in Minnesota, on the other coast. Well, in the, all the way west, a lot of Persians, Iranians live and they were, you know, rallying for freedom in Iran, hopefully overthrowing the dictatorship over there. And that's some U Haul Draven. But that's what the media wrote afterwards. David watches ABC said U Haul drives into a crowd of pro freedom protesters. Media seem to bend over backwards always when it's idea Muslim, right? Implying that. How do you imply that a U Haul drove into protesters? You know, AI has not gotten that technologically advanced yet, has it?
David Zier
Yeah. And California has the highest number of Iranians in the United states with about 200,000 making up about half percent of their population there. But this guy, Kaler Madanest, 48, as a Muslim U haul truck driver had the audacity to say, all I wanted is peace. After he ran over several people. He said police invited him.
Adam Wise
They were afraid. I remember going back to 9, 11, you would have that planes flew into the buildings, right? Planes. Planes flew into the World Trade Center.
David Zier
Someone did.
Adam Wise
So it echoes that and echoes that ever since then. We always have the wait and see attitude when it's an extreme Muslim extreme group. But if it's a, you know, obviously a MAGA person, a white dude with a hat on, right away they know who he is. Five seconds, it's Jim Smith. We know where he lives, we know his. We know everything he owns. Right?
David Zier
Well, at the core of it, a banner on the side of his truck gave it away, said, no shah, no regime. USA. Don't repeat 1953. No mullah. I get his point, even though I don't agree with his tactics, because people don't want Pavlovi, the son of the Shah, to take power over there because they overthrew the Shah and that's what led to the 79 revolution. But the Supreme Council and the Iranian mullahs hijacked that movement away from the mek, which are more like socialists, but they're the rightful leaders of Iran and the NCRI and the National Council for the Resistance of Iran. I think the Trump administration and Israel are leading towards Pavlovi, but he doesn't have his boots on the ground over there in Iran and the MEK and the NCRI do. So this guy was on that side. He did not want the shot to return to power who brutalized the people. So it'll be interesting how all this unfolds. But this guy, another nut job.
Adam Wise
David, you seem a lot better. I know that Minnesota chill got you. Oh, it's called a little bit snuffle and a little bit. But you sound great. Thank you for doing what you did in Minnesota. Yeah, we'll see you soon. Coming up next, CBS Evening News was out and ablaze with their new CBS News News anchor, Tony Cupolo. We got to, we got to see how the media is covering. It's only been a week or so and they roll over that and more. Coming up on Media Exposed.

Welcome back to Media Exposed welcome back to media. CBS Evening News entered a new era, a new phase with Tony de Kupo as the evening news anchor. But he's already being slammed. It's like over a week or so by the liberal media after one week on the job. The Guardian called the first week chaotic. The media also found famously always called Trump's presidency chaotic, but chaotic. But it was the most successful in modern times, chaotic seems like anything the media resents are scared of is always chaotic. The media is on the offense because it knows its days of trafficking and fake news with no accountability are numbered. No bizarrely calling major interview with the president that Tony got was chaotic. Come on. I want to in a rough patch. I want to welcome my next guest Emily Rose Finn, host at Real America's Voice News. Emily, that was the New York Times.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
Great to be with you.
Adam Wise
Hey Emily, thanks for joining us. The New York Times bizarrely calls the Copos major interview his first interview get with the president within like his first week or so. Rough patch like you got the biggest scoop. Everybody seems to be on the assault against Tony decoupolo. What's why is that? Give me your thoughts. I I have my own thoughts. But have you noticed this full out assault against the CBS Evening News?
Emily Rose Finn
I think it's just absolutely ridiculous. And if you dive deeper into that New York Times article, it's really a hit piece about Barry Weiss as opposed to this Tony guy who is who's hosting this new show. And good on him to be to give some credit to the President of the United States. I mean I remember, I'm old enough to remember that that was Like a huge win in journalism to have an interview with the sitting president. You know, the article in the New York New York Times definitely tries to attack him. But they must equate chaos to success because he had a lot of very successful interviews with very high level people in the administration. And so I'm not sure how they define chaos at this point. Adam.
Adam Wise
So the basic formula for teaching the audience and you know this, you've been in the business a long time. Anybody gets a scoop with the president, every other outlet watches everything that Tony asked that the president said and that's the news. What did Tony ask? What more info did he get? Not attacking Tony. That's not the news. The news was Tony got the scoop. He's lucky. Get a good job and what did the president say? But no, they're so vested in going after Barry Weiss, going after anything that doesn't fit the overall matter of they've changed the script. That's supposed to be the news of the day. It's very strange what the media is doing, right?
Emily Rose Finn
The sitting president literally drives the news cycle. And the president that we have right now is doing so much every single day he's talking to the press. You know, every time I look up at the tv, there is a whole lot to cover, a whole lot that his administration is accomplishing. And the one thing I will say is that, you know, if this was on the other side, if this was an interview with Joe Biden, everyone would have praised it. Everyone would have said it was amazing, even if he didn't make any sense and he stumbled through the interview the entire time. And so this is just a very clear example of the mainstream media and their just egregious bias.
Adam Wise
But they were very upset because watches the New York Times columnist James Pony Wozak finally exposes her true gripe. The media can no longer get away with their January 6 grift. Right as the Gray lady went out to Copa for his Fair report on January 6th. More for the more troubling was the evidence of what CBS News professed new values look like in a practice. Coppola's brief coverage of the Capitol assault animal simply noted. President Trump today accused Democrats of failing to prevent the attack. The White House Democratic leader Jeffries accused the president of whitewashing it. That's all he did. And the press corps was upset that he didn't go on the attack. More But I want to show you the and Oliver Darcy is the worst going after him time and time again. But I want to show you this first clip let's go to cut. When he interviewed Marco Rubio last week.
Griff Jenkins
Finally tonight, and only in America, the many lives and many jobs of Marco Rubio. The son of Cuban immigrants and a former Florida senator, he's now the face of US Foreign policy and President Trump's point man on Venezuela, all in addition to his roles as Secretary of State, interim national security adviser, and acting national archivist and USAID chief. Whatever you think of his politics, you got to admit it's an impressive resume. And now AI memes have added to that portfolio. Casting Secretary Rubio as the new governor of Minnesota, the new Shah of Iran, the Prime Minister of Greenland, the new manager of Manchester United, the head of Hilton hotels, and highest of high honors of all, the new Michelin Man. Now back in real life, of course, these memes may not add up to much, but for Rubio's hometown fans, which are many around here in Miami, it is a sign of how Florida, once an American punchline, has become a leader on the world stage. Marco Rubio, we salute you. You're the ultimate Florida man.
Adam Wise
So that was him. And then Oliver Darcy, used to be the media reporter for cnn, has his newsletter now substaging. And I get it, just to see what the other side is thinking. But one week on the job, media outlets all over slamming his performance. And Oliver Darcy branded the news veteran the new show a dud. Oliver Taki went totally on the attack. Emily framed the position of responsibility to the legacy and called saying the show matters and he's building a spectacular foundation. And that's all the Cupolo said. But it's, it's, I think they're losing grasp here. What do you think?
Emily Rose Finn
Absolutely. Again, we have to remember this is CBS News, right? And everything that he said was truthful was newsworthy. I mean, I don't remember a time in my life that someone in an administration has had all of those jobs at once. Marco Rubio is very beloved down here. He is making the rounds in memes on social media. And honestly, I think it's a smart move on cbs, his part to be engaging with things like this. As we know, Adam, and we talk about on media exposed all the time, traditional television viewing audiences are just simply not there anymore. People are streaming, people are using social media. And so to have a pulse on what's going on on X and being able to see all of these memes of Marco Rubio getting shared around, that's newsworthy. That is how information is shared these days. So good on for taking a different approach. And I Don't think that the mainstream media attacks are going to stop anytime soon on interviews like this or segments like this that they decide to do, but they're just going to continue to lose viewers in the process.
Adam Wise
Dan, there was his first interview. Let's work within the. After the first week, he got the big one, the President of the United States. And let's take a look at his cut. He was talking about jobs because they were at the Ford factory plant. Let's go watch cut five.
Griff Jenkins
President, I'm just trying to be fair here, just trying to do my job. And I want to talk about this assembly line here. To me it's vibrant.
Johnny Belsario
Listen to the sound.
Griff Jenkins
It's incredible, right?
Johnny Belsario
I love the sound of an assembly line.
Griff Jenkins
It's incredible. But they've got one not far from here. They just idled the electric vehicle plant.
Johnny Belsario
Well, yeah, but it's going to. It's going to gasoline vehicles.
Griff Jenkins
Yeah, it's going to go to gasoline.
Johnny Belsario
But why don't you say that, Tony? You can't say.
Adam Wise
You give me a chance.
Griff Jenkins
I'm coming there, I'm coming around.
Johnny Belsario
I agree. I said I want electric and I want gasoline and I want hybrids. I want everything. But you are going to be forced under the mandate to buy an electric car in a very short period of time. I didn't want that and I ended that. Now people can have electric, they can have gas, they can have hybrid, but.
Griff Jenkins
Are they going to have people to build these cars? The CEO of Ford said not long ago he's got 5,000 open mechanic jobs. He can't find people willing and able to think.
Johnny Belsario
Tony, that means it's vibrant. You could also have things where you have so many people and they can't get jobs.
Adam Wise
It's true.
Johnny Belsario
We are doing so well. It's hard. Now what's going to happen is people are being trained rapidly and you're going to have a thing called robots. And robots are going to be a big factor, I predict.
Griff Jenkins
Let's talk about that.
Johnny Belsario
Robots are going to be a big factor in the future and it's going to help out. But you have, you have a situation now where our economy is doing so well that is not that easy to get people.
Adam Wise
I find it refreshing. It was just a straight, fair interview that he had with the president and the vision on the other side. And this is what Oliver Darcy wrote again, despite wall to wall promotion, a splashy cross country tour and interviews with top Trump official Trump don't need Koopa CV they debuted has delivered a ratings done and perhaps exposed him the limits of Barry Weiss's magnification of the network. That's the real culprit, right? It's not Tony. It's not the CBS TV news. It's. He says it because oh, he's not hiding. He says it's the Barry magnification of these cbs. How was that interview magnification at all? Tell me. I don't see it.
Emily Rose Finn
Did you magnification. That is such an interesting word. And again we're talking about the sitting president who drives the news cycles. And I like you said, I thought it was refreshing as well that he was actually respectful to President Trump. Actually my only critique after watching that clip with you, Adam, the president seemed like, you know, like he was kind of on guard and he's been abused by the mainstream media for so long. And so, you know, and Tony kept saying I'm going to circle back, I'm going to get there, I'm going to get there. I appreciate the respect. And to call that anywhere near close to magnification is laughable.
Adam Wise
And this is what he said in the latter part of me said this one. It was a clear opportunity for the newly minted anchor who also told viewers not to trust it but to make him earn it to demonstrate that he is not a shill for the new MAGA friendly owner of CBS News, David Ellison or his new MAGA friendly boss, Barry Weiss. I find it refreshing to have an anchor that's not a battle royale with President Trump. For eight, nine years all we've seen is this back and forth fights with the media. Isn't that kind of refreshing?
Emily Rose Finn
Again, absolutely refreshing. And again, it's so sad that the media has gotten to the point that we're refreshed by basic respect for the most powerful man in the world. I do give Tony a whole lot of credit for the way that he handled that interview. I give CBS and Barry Wise credit for allowing that interview to happen and getting that all together. I mean we're talking about it right now. So obviously there is an audience for this and a reason why people want to watch the sitting president and want to watch other people that could considered magification. I still can't get over that word. It's hilarious.
Adam Wise
I don't mean to get in the case, but Barry Weiss was a columnist for the New York Times. She saw how radical they became. Is married to a woman, is not no conservative, has never been a champion of Trump and all CBS did was buy the free press and made the editor in chief. But they had but the legacy media don't have control the whole narrative and that pisses them off. Emily, thanks again for joining us. Great insight. I'll see you soon. Coming up next, thank you. Minnesota's on the brink over there with ICE agent shoots in Minnesota and a married mom and DHS age. Where to cover that and how the media is covering it. That coming up on Media Exposal.

Welcome back to Media Exposed. It seems like all eyes have been on Minnesota after the shooting of a mom of three, what looked like an individual was going to run over an agent. Half the side said she was it, half the side said she was. We're in like this battle of truth isn't the eye of the behold or truth is in the eye of what political party you are. America's really not supposed to be there. Justice is supposed to be fair and we're supposed to have a waiting period. But was so polarized as a country that DHS, not cooling it down, sent 2,000 more troops into the area, into Minnesota. And the escalation seems to be rising here. Minnesota is a radical left. Mayor Jacob Fry, he's defiant. He's suing with the governor. The governor Walz has decided not to run again. So that's chaotic everywhere in one of our states. How's it going to play out for the midterms? I don't know. I don't see it playing out well because too many of these visuals are hurting, not looking great. And that's not a good place to be when you're the income, when you're the majority party, when you're the party in charge. But I want to welcome my next guest and it's Elizabeth Whitney Ruble first time on Media Exposed. She's a political strategist. Elizabeth, thanks for joining us on Media Exposed.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
Adam, thank you for having me.
Adam Wise
Elizabeth. You know, we can't seem to get Minnesota out of the news but there's this big group in this Kirsten Fleming shoe for credit from the post and other people saying these new agitators, these lots of women seem to be screaming, jumping on cars. We don't know if they're paid. They're definitely organized because they're coming out of the woodwork, these women. It's just non stop causing chaos. And I want to show you this cut here. It's cut seven because we're talking about these agitated women and they're such agitated. We had a bleep dog, almost a whole video. But watch cut seven. These moms from Minnesota, Get the out of here. New type of agitator. What we used to call soccer moms have now become these agitator moms. And somehow they've always seemed to have pink hair or blue hair or some kind of color their hair in different manners. But what's the rage? It seems that left and the women have such rage. You know, what is it with them and where does that come from? Let me get the insight because we know a bunch of them that come from New York too. But this rage, maybe it's so cold out they get. So maybe that pushes, maybe that pushes their rage a bit too. Give me your thoughts on that.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
I think any physical attributes aside, the thing that they all have in common is that they have totally bought into this abused narrative from the radical left. They have become radicalized and it's shocking, especially from mothers because they obviously feel much like Renee Goode, they feel almost that ICE is posing a threat to their children and their children's safety. And I think that we're all trying to figure out why they're putting themselves in these life threatening situations. And to me the question isn't is it warranted to send in these 2000 people from Department of Homeland Security? But how did we get here in the first place, right?
Adam Wise
I mean, how do we get it? Because the behavior, there's no year, decade, decade or more ago, it was simple. My parents taught you, a cop comes up to you, pulls you over, have respect. Don't curse at them, don't answer them back. Respect that's been thrown out the window. I think they're taught spit, yell, curse, do whatever you can to be an agitator. Because what that disrupt them and that'll get them depressed. That's their, that's what they teach and that's not healthy. What does that actually do when you're confronting them back? A lot of them get arrested because they're being manipulated by left in the system and a lot of them getting hurt and getting criminal records and it's. And they're just taking marches like dumb skunks, right? What do you think about that?
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
And most importantly, if you look at instructions from people like Jacob Frey, from Ilhan Omar, they are encouraging people to put themselves between federal agents and the federal agents being able to do their job. This isn't Peaceful protesting. It is impeding with law enforcement and it's breaking federal law. And it's encouraging people to put themselves in harm's way. And it leads to tragedies like what happened to Renee Goode. Because I don't believe that anybody on the political right does not believe that what happened to that woman was a tragedy. It was indeed. She's not going to go home to her children. And I think it's just a terrible confluence of this abused narrative being encouraged by local government. And it's very, very dangerous to put yourself between federal law enforcement because how are they supposed to know what your intentions are? You saw from this video, people are beating at their cars. There are so many videos of people throwing rocks. It's extremely dangerous for them. And I think that it puts them on edge.
Adam Wise
Yeah, it's not good because. Not good for our society. It's not good for a system of democracy. It's not good for a civil society. But we're watching, and you're right, the Democratic leadership, they don't teach what's right and wrong. They can't even teach simple respect law enforcement. It's sad that they've become so radical. The leadership we're not talking about. We're not talking about the radicals. We're not talking about the activists. We're talking about the actual governor and mayor. But I want to show you cut six. It's Fox News, Griff Jenkin. And he, he really pointed out to the mayor, which I got pointed out because finally DHS started sending me their press releases. And if you don't have this info, you don't realize what they're doing. They're getting a pedophile, they're getting a drug trafficker, they're getting. But you don't know that if you watch the media. But let me show you cut six with Fox News, Griff Jenkins and the mayor of Minneapolis. Scores of illegal criminal aliens that have been apprehended in the past few days that have included everyone.
Griff Jenkins
Hang on a second.
Adam Wise
From murders to sex assault of minors. These individuals were roaming free in your city because your policies did not cooperate with detainers. And so ICE is then going to get these people off the street. You would agree that the streets are safer without these individuals on your streets.
Griff Jenkins
Look, in Minneapolis and in Minnesota, we are anti murder, we are anti crime.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
We are for improving the safety wherever we can.
Griff Jenkins
And by way, the, the way we have worked with administrations, both present and past to drive down crime.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
We've worked with the dea, but he's.
Adam Wise
A sanctuary city, isn't he? In Minnesota, you don't work with them at all, I believe. Hiding criminals. Yeah, exactly.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
And he's also called for his own citizens to go against ICE being able to do their job. He has no legal right to tell ICE not to enforce federal law. And under no other administration in my lifetime have I ever seen people having difficulty with a president wanting to enforce the law. In fact, it was Democratic policy and soundbites. If we remember back to when Obama was running in 2008, he said that the Bush border was a problem and that he had allowed too many illegal immigrants to come over the border and use that as a sign of Republican weakness when it came into immigration law. Breaking immigration law is breaking the law. If you are a nonviolent criminal, it was Democratic policy for quite some time that you still had broken the law and could be deported. Under President Trump and Kristi Noem, 70% of the people who have been arrested by ICE, 70% have charges pending against them or have convictions. In the United States, it's never been controversial to deport criminals. And as you said, it is the irresponsibility of the media and leadership not to make that information known to the public. Public, because I believe that it would change their mind.
Adam Wise
Basically why there's this flood of DHS agents in Minnesota, because they found all that fraud, right? The daycare fraud, stealing of the money, daycare centers by the dozens that don't exist, that have no kids, and just funneling millions. So there are only a lot of illegal immigrants that are getting this funds, funding it back to their country to who knows who. Could be terrorist organizations, supposedly. And that's why DHS is there. It's Homeland Security, right? So that's why they're in there. They have to find out the fraud that's happening. And it doesn't seem like it's just Minnesota people saying Ohio's right before it, California. And who knows what's happening in New York. Because when I went and got my driver's license, when I lost it right before the convention, I went in there in Riverhead, which is the north fork of eastern Long Island. They didn't ask me for ID to get a new license. And all the other hundreds of immigrants behind me, all they kept asking was, am I registered to vote? So there's probably all sorts of fraud all over New York State. And we know our glorious new mayor, who somehow was chummy with Trump a few weeks ago, is on a tear, right? His first couple of weeks, he's after he's demonizing landlords. He's demonizing, you know, standing against hospitals. You know, how is commie. Elizabeth, let me ask you, how is our new Zoran Mandani doing his first month on the job? Give me your thoughts.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
I think that he's doing exactly what we expected him to do, which is to cause unrest. Any person who is powerful, any person that is independent, any person that is an advocate for free markets or freedom, even of property ownership is somebody that is being gone after by this administration. And certainly he's gone after ICE as well. Any person that threatens this new socialist agenda that he has is on the chopping block.
Adam Wise
Right. It was right off the bat, it wasn't even a day or two. He was demonizing landlords like most landlords are not 80 story building owners. They own a couple of little small apartment building. They're just making the rent. And he, he went in and started demonizing them like he was the activist. I don't think he'll grow out of that. Let's see if he ever grows out of that activist chair. As ELIZABETH But I want to thank you for joining us first time and I'll see you soon. Thanks again.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
Thank you for having me.

Welcome back to Media Explanation. Suppose it was a major case before the Supreme Court this week, the trans case, Trans athletes in sports was finally brought from the Supreme Court. But I caused the media, caused this problem. I begin with I'm driving away through our culture to the country and making a more controversial than ever it should have been. It'd have been a simple thing. I want to welcome my next guest. Bo Davidson is the host of Real America's Voice News Boat. Thanks for joining us. I wanted to touch on this because midweek, mid midweek was a, you know, that was brought before the Supreme Court and I blame it solely, a lot of it on the media because for years and years we had shows about celebrating trans kids Shows about pushing the transgender. If you said anything negative, they would go after you to cancel. They would cancel you if you said common sense that this is normal, this is crazy behavior. And yet we were told it's normal to just decide your own sex and allow people into sports. And women's trophies were being taken away. Their dignity was being taken away. Finally, we're. I can't believe it took this, this long to get in front of the Supreme Court. And yet we had a willing culture and media pushing this, and Hollywood, too, right at one swoop and so, so strong when the three of them come together, how powerful they can change culture. Give me your thoughts on that. We're following the court.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
Isn't it ironic, Adam, that they're harassing people, or like, as you just said, the media culture harassing people for questioning transgenderism? And I think that's sad because transgenderism has sadly become a trend, or it's a fad that's been popularized by our culture, by our media, by pop culture, by entertainment, TV shows, films, that sort under the guise of just being yourself or individualism. And I think the worst part of that, Adam, perhaps, is that it's glorifying what is most likely a mental illness or a form of dysmorphia. And that's not something to treat lightly at all. But, Adam, I find it also ironic that when Judge Alito, Justice Alito of the Supreme Court, was questioning the ACLU lawyers about this very case, they said, isn't it important that we define what sex, biological sex, actually is? And even the ACL lawyers agreed with that, but they could not provide that distinction or that definition. So here they come before the Supreme Court, and they don't even have a definition. Adam, I don't know how we're at this point in early 2026, why this conversation is still even going on. But fortunately, it seems that the largely conservative majority of the Supreme Court is going to decide in the state's favor on this to uphold this ban, which I think is correct. They'll probably narrowly define whatever decision they're going to issue. But I think Alito, Justice Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, even that I got to bring up. I mean, he coached women's sports teams. He coached women's basketball teams. And I think he, of all people, understands, he hates it, that anybody would be prevented from playing a sport. But at the same time, he recognizes, Adam, that there's harm done. There's actual harm done and discrimination when someone doesn't make a roster slot. And when you have Boys thinking that they're girls, they're using hormone therapies, puberty blockers, things that you cannot reverse. In some cases, you know, that irreversible harm is actually being done.
Adam Wise
You know, when a boy acted up, but it was 13, 14, way back in the day, they had to figure out, usually they'd be gay later in their life. They'd used to be gay. Now they have changed thousands of males into females. And they wake up and say, what the hell happened to me? And we took away that. We took away their dignity, what their, you know, their private parts and other things, because we pushed this craziness onto our society. And somehow it's even got to the Supreme Court. So I don't know if Gorich or Kavanaugh was following the mantra of, like, using pronouns and cisgender and talking on their terms, which is ridiculous. I think the vote will probably come our way, sanity's way. But they even talk it on their terms. Some of their language, ridiculous. I saw this story. Bo was Washington Post, the fashion editor. And the headline, she dissed Eric Kirk. She said, eric's out on the tour. We all know that. She's the CEO of Turning Point. She feels, look, somebody shouldn't criticize the widow of Charlie Kirk if she wants. If this is the way she wants to grieve, to go out and take the reins as CEO, and she feels that's what her husband wanted to do. That's her right. That's the board's right. But she's still getting attacked by the media. Washington Post in their heading said, you know, Erica Kirk is an absent parent and wearing too much glitter, like, come on, would you do that? Both. Simple question. Would they do that to a liberal icon, a Michelle Obama or Hillary or somebody on the left who.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
No, not whatsoever. I think we know that if the shoe were on the other foot. If the shoe were on the other foot, and you had a liberal woman who was a widow and was now returning to any sort of public stage of any sort, no matter what she was wearing, it doesn't matter. They would say, oh, it's empowerment. This is. She's reclaiming her individualism and her power as a mother and as a widow and as a, you know, and as a. A person of. A notary, you know, someone of notoriety, basically. I think completely the media has got this wrong, and I think it's unfortunate that they've chosen to attack someone's personal aesthetics. However she dresses is up to her to think that she's being an absent parent. Is absurd. How do they know? How do they know what's going on and.
Adam Wise
Exactly, Bo. And we're on to the Hollywood awards season. And one of the first big Hollywood award gal is the Golden Globes. And I know the leadership said trying they want to bring in some parts swaths of America. That's usually not representative. They want to keep politics out of it. And the host this year was Nikki Glaser. I think she kept politics out of it mostly, but she did take a swipe at someone. Let's go to cut 8 and watch our first swipe as the host.
Emily Rose Finn
And the award for most editing goes to CBS News.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
Yes.
Emily Rose Finn
CBS News, America's newest place to CBS News.
Adam Wise
We needed another. She got a little bit of a big applause there, but what. I don't know what she's talking about. First of all. Oh, it's on cbs. So why are you attacking Paramount and cbs? The Golden Globes is on cbs. Nikki, you know, have some respect for the people that give you the job. And if you're trying, if you're going after who I think you're going at, because Barry Weiss is in charge now. She's been on the job, what, two or three months? Give me a break. Give me your thoughts on. Give me your thoughts on Nikki Glaze's overall, you know, overall hosting gig, but her shots there.
Mint Mobile Sponsor
Yeah, first of all, I think Nikki actually did a pretty good job. You're right. She stayed largely out of politics. I think she's good. I watched the whole monologue. I thought she was pretty good. You know, there's a lot of funny moments. She said there's a lot of a listers here, like a list that has been heavily redacted, obviously referring to Epstein. That was kind of a Ricky Gervais moment. I liked it. But when you say best editing goes to the Justice Department, Adam, that's. That's not just a low blow. It's a dumb blow. It's a dumb joke. To think that the Justice Department has somehow edited the footage in Minneapolis to make it look like the ice officer wasn't attacked. I thought that was just a dumb, stupid thing to see. Glen Powell just, you know, clapping, laughing, dumb. It's just. It's exactly what we think of Hollywood. This insulated bubble of idiocy and lunacy and a clique inculcated by a liberal ideology. It's just everything that's bad about Hollywood. But I gotta say that we're talking about CBS here, right? It's the same organization that edited Kamala Harris to look better. Right? It's the same organization that edited four minutes out of Kristi Noem speech. Why is it that no one had a problem? They were editing then, but they have a problem editing now. Touche.
Adam Wise
You know, I used to. The Golden Globes was such a prestigious thing. And the Oscars, all of America used to watch it get 30, 40, 50 million views. You go up to people now because of what they've done and attacking half America over and over. A lot of people don't even know what the Golden Globes are anymore. Or a lot of people say, oh, Hollywood, I don't want to go there. That's a shame because it's such a big part of America, the film industry that we had the golden age of film. The people that the stars that we had, we built the world's entertainment. America built the world's entertainment. And when we built it in the twenties, stars was the. It wasn't political. It was just sitting back and people enjoyed it, people danced to it, people loved it. People marriages were created, all sorts of things. But somehow along the line they've gotten so radical and political. And Jess, this guy, you know, what's the thing? Johnny Belsario. I want to show you his clip. He had some great funny moments on the red carpet from Fox. Let's go to cut nine. We're back. Golden Globes, red carpet. Hollywood's biggest stars are gonna walk on this very carpet. And you know where they're gonna go? Straight to Johnny. Bonjour, George. It's me now it's you again. I'm shaking.
Johnny Belsario
I remember Batman and Robin is my Wanda.

David Zier
Really?
Adam Wise
You asking me how to Wanda? Why don't you watch MSNBC and find out how's the country doing? How's the country doing? So beautiful. That's where we want to talk about. Let's talk about something easier, like what my funeral plans are. What are your funeral plans? I think I'm going to be cremated. I decided with my best friend Elaine Hendricks that I'm going to be cremated and she's going to make me into a diamond. I'd like to be taxidermed.
Elizabeth Whitney Ruble
Okay.
Adam Wise
What are you doing on the Golden Globes red carpet? Who knew this could happen?
Johnny Belsario
You know, in life, poo poo happens.

It's pretty funny. But like Orlando Bloom and Wanda Sykes, it's like they're all giving the talking points, right? What's America's. Everything's down economically is doing pretty good. But they're all giving their talking points.

How about this, Adam? How about the fact that they are on the red carpet of the Golden Globes in the United States of America where they can say anything they want. They can wear their suitcase stupid little be good pens, which is the latest virtue signal because it's not Ukraine, it's not Palestine. It's be good now about all about Renee Goode. They're in the best country in the world that allows them to make bookus of money off of their art and they can't say anything good about how our country is doing. Are you kidding me?
Adam Wise
You're right. They've reached the pinnacle of society and they're still complaining. That is a fabulous day, fabulous place and they're still complaining. Bo, maybe we'll be there next year.
