Let's do a little this. Let's just mark here Monday morning Monday afternoon, 4 o' clock in Eastern C Bar. Markets are closed. Check it out. Dow is all very quiet again today because Trump is still figuring out what we're going to do. We heard the deal that the Iranians presented Trump over the weekend yesterday specifically said absolutely no go, non starter. So we're kind of back at square one. Original oil ran up to $100,000,000 a barrel. $100.5 a barrel this morning backed off still higher. But Dow Jones industrial end up about 90 points. Very quiet. S P up a 13, 14 points, not much. And the 27 point rally in the Nasdaq, not much across the board. Again, that oil market is the one that's got everyone kind of perplexed. A hundred dollars 98 right now. So got to one almost 101 overnight. 98 right now. Everyone's waiting, the holding their breath. That's still up. It's a couple of bucks a barrel. So nothing's easing yet, but I do believe it will. And then you jump over. Gold is very, very quiet as well. And the, the crypto market saw a little bit of strength. We hit 82,000, 82,000 in Bitcoin, if you notice. Every day it's kind of moving, moving up a little bit. A little bit, A little bit. Trump is going to speak in a little bit. We will go to that. But in the meantime, if the last few years have taught us anything, it's that the systems we rely on can and sometimes do fail. And when they do, we're on our own. That's why I want to tell you about my Patriot Supply. America's original Patriot preparedness company. They've helped over 3 million American families get prepared since 2008 with more than 90,000 five star reviews. And right now they've got a special offer that you really need to check out. Four weeks of emergency food, water filtration and much more. All four free. It's in stock and ready to ship right away. But with everything going on right now, there's no telling how long it'll be available. So go to preparewithrav.com preparewithrav.com right now to see everything you can get for free. Don't wait until it's too late. Get your complete preparedness set up today@ preparewithrav.com again, preparewithrav.com all right, let's bring in our next guest, former CIA covert operations officer, now CEO of Portman Square Group. He Also has a daily podcast called the President's Daily Brief. Happy to bring back Mike Baker to the show. Mike, so much moving right now. Let me just start with this because we know that President Trump tomorrow afternoon will leave for Beijing trying to sit down with Xi Jinping. We also know that Xi Jinping, along with Iranians and the Russians, are the new evil, axis of evil. What is the expectation coming out of that meeting, at least from your end? What do you think should come out of that? Especially how it affects the Iranian situation, Maybe our gas prices.
Mike Baker
Yeah. Well, I tell you what I'd like to see. I'd like to see a couple of things. I'd like to see President Trump be very direct with Xi Jinping about an issue that's popped up occasionally but has cost the US Untold billions and billions of dollars in lost jobs. And that's their theft of economic intelligence, their theft of research and development, intellectual property. I would like him to really hammer that point home that, you know, you can't keep going now, it won't stop because that's just kind of what they do. They'll continue. But I would like to see it front and center. The other thing is I would like to see him be a little more direct with Xi Jinping about our intentions with Iran and that we have. I'd like to see more economic pressure on Iran because, look, honestly, dropping more munitions and bombs isn't going to change that regime. But I would like sort of a frank and open discussion with Xi about the Chinese support for Iran. Again, I'm not sure that's going to happen. I have very low expectations. Anytime you're talking about a summit of any sort or for that matter, a committee hearing or an investigation in Washington, D.C. i really just don't think a lot gets done in these sort of big public open moments.
Steve Bannon
Mike, last week, late last week, one of the foreign, Chinese foreign ministers, I believe it may even been Xi Jinping or quoting Xi Jinping, somehow it got to the top saying that America is now a giant with a limp, meaning that we're expending all these munitions, kinetic munitions, on Iran. That does that open the door possibly for China to look at, I don't know, maybe perhaps starting up in the United States in some sort of war type fashion?
Mike Baker
Well, I, I think it's a really important point you raise. I don't think it's necessarily, you know, between the US And China, but I think they look at our actions in Venezuela, our actions in Iran, possibly our actions in Cuba. And I think if they look at their own sphere and they look at Taiwan, and perhaps they're processing it, perhaps as well. Look, you, you're kind of doing what you want to do in, in your, you know, playground. We're going to do what we want to do in our. Or have influenced here. And so perhaps they're processing that way. But look, there's no doubt about the fact that Xi Jinping, the Chinese Communist Party, they enjoy the moments when the US Is distracted and tied up in a conflict, whether that's Iraq, Afghanistan, now Iran. And they are taking serious note of the way that we're burning through stockpiles. That's an important issue for them.
Steve Bannon
Yeah. The other issue that I would say that should come up, and I know Trump has got an agenda of his own, but this idea of Taiwan, you know, we've, We've, you know, almost, I guess we have a treaty that we have to protect Taiwan, but more importantly, that than that, we know there's a massive, massive AI race with China right now. And I know Trump is very focused on winning that, that race against China to be the, the global leader in AI. Couple of issues are pending. So China's economy is hurting because of the price of oil. They don't have oil. We do. So that helps. So the longer that thing drags out, it actually helps us in the AI space. But more importantly, the Taiwan, Taiwan produces about 85 to 90% of the chips that are needed for, for the AI race, let's call it. And if China decides to take Taiwan, Mike, hands down, they, they will win the air race. So how do you play that game if you're Trump and you go in there, is it protect Taiwan at all costs? Because at one point, Biden said he may not be interested in protecting Taiwan.
Mike Baker
Yeah, yeah. You can never really be sure with Biden. He was kind of all over the map. He just sort of wandered out there and say at one point, we have troops to protect Taiwan. Other times, no, he wouldn't. But I think you're absolutely right to point out this issue. Look, I'm very bullish on the idea that the US Is going to win the AI race. The only caveat there is the effectiveness of the Chinese intel apparatus to steal information. Again, I go back to what my original comment was, and also this issue of the importance of Taiwan in chip production. And so how do you get around that? Well, we were kind of late to the game in saying we've got an onshore chip production in the States, and that's an effort that's ongoing and we're trying to make that happen. But I do think that look from, from Xi Jinping's perspective, he probably looks at Taiwan in terms of his own legacy. So you have to look at Xi Jinping's health and his potential to hold on to power. And those, those indicators. Right. Will tell you when there may be a move on Taiwan, whether it's a sort of more of a soft approach or whether it's more of a kinetic attempt to bring Taiwan, from their perspective, back into the fold.
Steve Bannon
So, so what do you do? Let's just say, and a lot of people are looking at 20, 27 as soon as we're finished with our midterms for if China is going to make a move on Taiwan. They, they've indicated they want to, they've indicated they will, you know, one China. And if they do, I mean, are we going to be involved in Venezuela, we're going to be involved in Iran, we're going to be involved now on the Chinese mainland as well, or at least protecting Taiwan and out in the sea, I mean, we're getting spread pretty thin. Mike.
Mike Baker
Yeah, I think that there's, there's a strong likelihood, like the, the Chinese regime, the Communist Party does not like uncertainty. They don't like chaos. They don't like uncertainty. So there's every chance that they would look and kind of in a way that I think Iranian regime is currently doing and saying, we'll just outweigh Trump. We'll just outweigh them. Right. Because he is a bit of, he's a wild guard. He's an unknown in terms of his, his reactions and his response to things. And so they're not, they're not comfortable with that. So I think that there is every chance that they may say, look, we, we definitely want to bring Taiwan back where we believe it should be, but we're going to, we're going to wait. And, and we think that the next administration we got, whether it's Democrat or Republican, will be more predictable, will be easier to read. And from the Chinese Communist Party.
Steve Bannon
Here, I'm just gaming this out a little bit. So Trump had indicated he wanted to finish this thing in Iran, but then all of a sudden he's leaving tomorrow afternoon, I believe, 2pm Eastern to go to China. We'll meet with Xi Jinping on Wednesday, but maybe he's just holding off with the Iranians right now to keep that pending. So he has a little bit more of a, I don't know. Would you, would you say he's got some negotiating points if, if the blockade is still in place with Xi Jinping on Wednesday.
Mike Baker
Well, I think it's a point of order. It's a point of talk. I don't know that there's a strategy that says he's holding off on any further action with Iran until he finishes this summit, perhaps. I think part of the problem is that they may have at the White House, they may have been a little too confident in the estimation that with sufficient pressure, with sufficient munitions, they were going to get a regime change or at least a government that they could work with. They haven't got that. They've got the Islamic Republic, they've got an existing regime, new faces, but it's a hardline regime. It's become more centralized within the irgc, the Revolutionary Guard Corps. Personally, I think Mashtab Al Khamenei, the new supreme leader, is basically a rubber stamp. The clerics have been moved aside. So I think this has not worked out the way that they imagined. And now they're basically working on how do we, how do we get out of this so we don't get, you know, completely done up during the midterm elections. They really are keen to get this thing done so that they can put.
Steve Bannon
I wish, Mike, I wish they would. I wish they would they have the opportunity. They just wish they would. Mike. Mike Baker, the President's Daily Brief. We're going to peek in to see where Trump is in the White House. Appreciate your time, Mike Baker.
Mike Baker
Take care, man.
Steve Bannon
I folks, two and a half minutes. We'll be right back.

All righty folks. There's a rose garden waiting on President Trump and I believe national champions Indiana Indiana Football College all right. Are we verge of yet another pandemic? The same way that all eyes were on New York City as we watch the Big Apple Lose its way to blatant socialism and embrace of jihad. We're watching the potential of something on the other end of the spectrum happening out in la. LA is run by Marxist globalist Karen Bass, who cares far more about illegals and wokeism to actually do what's right for the city that desperately needs the help. Seemingly out of nowhere, this guy Spencer Pratt, we talked about him last week, he's bubbling up. He stepped up with common sense policies and ideas that make no sense to who? The Democrats, as you can imagine. And it shows. Just watch this ad that's been meant to be an attack on Pratt.
Spencer Pratt Ad Narrator
Republican Spencer Pratt is the last thing Los Angeles needs for mayor. Pratt opposes using taxpayer money to build brand new houses for our unhoused neighbors, saying it's time for the homeless to get help or get out. Pratt thinks LA needs thousands more police officers rather than more social workers and Republicans. Republican Spencer Pratt thinks public employee unions should have less power, not more. LA is on the right track and needs to stay the course. Vote no on Republican Spencer Pratt.
Steve Bannon
There you go. Thousands more police officers in a city littered with crime. Well, that would be madness, wouldn't it? Public employee unions with less power. Ah, you mean the city won't be able to held prisoner, be held prisoner by the communist whims of power hungry city workers who do nothing stand around but collects taxpayer funded paychecks? Say it ain't so. Spencer Pratt bubbling up for a reason. Spencer Pratt's slow but steady rise is clearly rattled. His fellow mayor or candidate, Nifia Raman, as in the noodle Ramen's Twitter post backed in 2020 was pretty damn crystal clear. And I'm quoting, the path is not complicated. Fund services, fund housing, fund care, defund the police. Right there, black and white. But Rahman, sensing blood in the water, she's clearly backtracking real decisions that will
Lee McGowan
deliver real services for people.
Donald Trump
So you no longer believe in defunding the police?
Lee McGowan
No.
Lee McGowan (continued)
And what caused you to change your mind?
Lee McGowan
You know, I think we need to be able to ensure that the city can respond to calls for service and we have to make sure that we are able to respond to calls for help around public safety issues. And I think in order to do that at this moment with our response system, we need to be able to maintain the size of our police force.
Steve Bannon
All right, I believe we're going to. Ben, is president coming out right now? Is that what I'm seeing? Yes, sir, I believe he's over there. And this again, the University Indiana Hoosiers number one national champion with the number one draft pick, Fernando Mendoza. Folks, President Trump.
Donald Trump
Well, thank you very much, everybody. This is an honor. I watched that game. I watched these guys. They can play. They can play. And they were a little underestimated, but I just said. But not anymore. They're not underestimated anymore. They were incredible talents. So today it's my great honor to welcome the 2025 College Football national champions, the Indiana University Hoosiers. And I want to say that JD Is right over here. He likes Indiana. We won Indiana by a lot. It always helps when you win it by a lot. I think we won them all by a lot. You want to know the truth? But they just forgot to put that down. But we won by a lot. We just had a big victory. We beat seven out of eight candidates that were running against Trump. That was good. And the only reason we lost the other one is they had two people running. They split up that vote. I can't believe I let that happen. But we're joined today by Vice President J.D. vance. He's fantastic. J.D. stand up for a second, will you? And his sons, Ewan and Vivek, as well as Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum. Doug, great secretary. We're doing now the reformation reflective pond. And we saved about $600 million or something. It's going to be beautiful. It'll open about two weeks and it's going to be incredible. They've been trying to get it open for years. They had no idea what they were doing. But we know how to do it, Doug. And it took us two weeks versus the projected four years. People would not understand it, but you've done a fantastic job. Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins. Brooke, thank you. Get those prices down. They're coming down. I see prices. We inherited the worst inflation in history. She's getting the prices down big. Thanks, Brooke. Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick. Doing a wonderful job. Thank you, Howard. Acting Secretary of Labor, Keith Sonderling. Thank you, Keith. Good job. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright. Supposed to be the best in the business. Well, you know what? It's. It was. I figured it would triple when we did. We had to make an excursion to the beautiful country of Iran. We didn't want to let them have a nuclear weapon. And we made the right decision and we've got it pretty good. And those prices are going to come crashing down as soon as that's over and we'll get taken care of. We're going to take care of business. Great job. You know, doing a great job. Thank you. Chris Hud Secretary Scott Turner, former NFL player, by the way, a great guy. U.S. trade Representative Jamison Greer, one of the most important men anywhere in the world. We need more tariffs. Jameson, we need more tariffs. And SBA administrator who's fantastic, Kelly. Kelly Loeffler. Thank you, Kelly. And I see Kevin over there. I don't know if they have your name down. Jeff, can we just stand up? You were so good on television over the weekend. Thank you. Kevin Hassett. Thank you, Kevin. Thanks also to Senators Todd Young. Where's Todd? Thank you. Thank you, Todd. You have a great group of people. What a group. This is a big day for the. Todd and Jim Banks. Jim, stand up. Where are you? Senator Banks, my friend for a long time. And Representatives Marlon Stutzman, Jim Baird, Rudy Yakim, Erin Houchen and Nick Begich. Thank you all. Warriors. We also have Mark Messmer, Jefferson Sheriv and Victoria Spratz. Where? Hi, Victoria. Victoria Spartz. She's been very good on occasion. She gets a little bit bad, a little nasty, but she is good and she's smart and she's always with us. Right? Thank you, Victoria. I appreciate it. Also with us is speaker of the Indiana House, Todd Hudson. Thank you, Todd. Thank you, Todd. You guys have been great. Indiana Senate Majority Floor Leader Chris Garten. These are all people that were with me. Right, Chris? We don't have any of those insurgents, do we? We had a big day. They don't know what I'm talking about behind me because they're into football. But we had a little insurgency in Indiana that didn't last very long. We had what. What a great group of people we have. We have many of the Republican patriots from the great state of Indiana, including Trevor Devries, Brian Schmutzler, Blake Feechter, Tracy Powell, Jeff Ellington, Michelle Davis, who last week had a big primary election. They've all are you by the people. I love you people. What? That was carried all over the world. They ran against people that were there for 20, 25 years. And they were, let's see. Yeah, I'd say young. Certainly young. But they were not expected to win. They were down by 25 or 30 points. We endorsed them and they won in a landslide. Thank you very much. Congratulations. You'll be there a long time. Thank you very much. That was a story heard round the political world, wasn't it? Huh?
Kurt Sigetti
Wow.
Donald Trump
That's so nice that you're here. Actually, they're my favorite people right now in the audience. I don't care about that. Jim Banks. They're my favorite people. Right. We're also joined by the great Sage Steele, who's a fantastic person and a supporter and a friend of mine. Thank you. Thank you. And former NFL quarterback Trent Green. Great quarterback. Where's Trent? Hi, Trent. Great job. That's a good quarterback. This was a year that will live forever in the hearts of Indiana football fans. It was an exciting year for football, but maybe you're the biggest story. I think, Coach, you're the biggest story. There's no story like this. The Hoosiers delivered the program's first ever undefeated untied season and capped it off with their first ever national title. That's amazing. Good job, though. A lot of muscle out there. The national signing day. Think of this, the press conference in 2023 shortly after joining Indiana. Kurt. Who's Kurt? Kurt Signetti. Where is Kirk Signetti? Right here. Huh? Oh. Come here. Come here. Kurt Signetti has turned out to be, I believe, I think he's the coach of the last decade because he took a team, nobody knew him, nobody knew the team, and he ended up taking this team all the way. People were betting against you all the way, Kurt. He took over in 2023 following a really bleak 39 season and immediately set a tone that few people have seen, I think, in the history of college football. At the national signing day press conference in 2023, shortly after joining Indiana, Kurt was asked how he communicates his vision to recruits. And he said, it's pretty simple. I win. I just know how to win. That's a very cocky guy. I don't like people like that. I like this guy. Just two years later, he brought home the national championship. So, you know, when you do that stuff, you have to be able to produce when you act that way. Muhammad Ali used to get, get up there and you know, over the years, I've seen people that did it better than Muhammad Ali. The problem is they couldn't fight properly. They lost. You can't do that and lose, right? But he's a very special coach, I'll tell you that. I just got to know him a little bit backstage, and he's a winner. Every player in this team shared their coaches winning mindset and they executed with unbelievable skill. They're skilled people. This season was also historic because starting quarterback Fernando Mendoza, now the reason he's not here, he was so nice. He called because he has. Actually, JD Is a big fan of ours. You wouldn't believe it because he didn't show up. I'm not happy, but that's okay. The reason he didn't. Because he's at spring training, right? Correct. And I actually said, you really let him. He's got to win. And I think he's going to win pretty early, coach. Right. You think pretty good.
Kurt Sigetti
Time will tell.
Donald Trump
He's going to be a good one. A lot of people said they're going to win, but I think he will. No, he's been great. And he's at spring training like his first day or something. I said, you better go there. But he became Indiana's first. Otherwise if I didn't do that, I, believe me, I wouldn't have even talked about him. I would have not if, if he was not here for other reasons like he didn't like Trump or he didn't want to come. I wouldn't even mention him. I'd go through the whole. I'd talk about how great. I wouldn't even mention the quarterback's name. But he's a great guy actually. And he is actually a big fan of what we're doing for our country. But he became Indiana's first ever Heisman Trophy winner. Right, Coach? And Fernando completed 226 of 360, 16 passes. That's good. Throwing for 2,980 yards. Let's round it off for 3,000. Okay. I'm going to round that off a little bit, coach. 3,000 yards and a nation leading 33 touchdowns. Fernando couldn't be here today because as I said, he's now a member of the Las Vegas Raiders. And let's see how good a team they have. And I think he's going to do great. He's a winner. With Fernando's help and a stacked lineup, Indiana utterly dominated in the regular season, winning 10 out of 12 games by double digit margins. In the first three games, Indiana outscored their opponents. Wow. 156 to 23. I think they have a good coach. And they closed the regular season by crushing their in state rival Purdue. Always a good team. 56 to 3. That's pretty good. Nice memories. But things weren't as straightforward in the Big Ten championship against Ohio State. That was a tough one. Indiana entered the game known for its rock solid defense and actually known for college basketball, to be honest with you. And now I think they're going to be known for football. But they entered the game against Ohio State and, and people really, I think they thought of Ohio State as being almost unbeatable and brought back one of the most explosive offenses in the nation. Ohio State did. But in the end The Hoosiers prevailed over the Buckeyes junior linebacker, Isaiah Jones. Where's Isaiah? I said, how good is he, Coach? He said, he can play. Let me see. He's a good looking guy. I don't like good looking people. I don't like good looking men at all, believe me. But he recorded two of Indiana's first five sacks. Think of that. So he had five sacks. Well, helping the team secure a hard fought 13 to 10 victory. Really, against a great football power. That's a big honor. Next up was the Rose bowl, where Indiana delivered a commanding 383 victory over Alabama.
Kurt Sigetti
Coach, roll time.
Donald Trump
You got to be. You got to be kidding. That's right. Over Alabama. That's a big one. After a scoreless first quarter, the Hoosiers broke through and never looked back. Defeating the Crimson Tide is no small feat. And it wouldn't have been possible without starting center Pat Coogan. Where's Pat? Oh, he's at training camp. Forget this. Forget training camp. But he's a good fan, coach, right?
Kurt Sigetti
Absolutely.
Donald Trump
Okay, good. I'm glad I mentioned. Glad I mentioned his name. That's good. Say hello to him. That's a big deal. In recognition of his dominant performance, Pat became the first offensive lineman since 1944 to be named the Rose Bowl's Most Valuable Player. Pat is busy today in training camp. That's. That's great. Is he that good? Oh, yeah. Is Pat Coogan that good?
Kurt Sigetti
We got 15 of them in training camp.
Donald Trump
Wow. Is that right?
Spencer Pratt Ad Narrator
Yeah.
Donald Trump
Wow. Fifteen in training camp. Wow. How many potentials do you have back there? A lot. Quite a few. Quite a few potentials. In the Peach ball, Indiana shattered Oregon's confidence. So that was another one. Oregon was supposed to be a hot team. I watched it. I said, what's going on here? But they shattered Oregon's confidence right out of the gate. When during the first play of the game, cornerback d' Angelo Pons. What a good name. Intercepted the ball. Where's d'? Angelo?
Kurt Sigetti
Training camp.
Donald Trump
Oh, I can't believe it. No wonder you won.
Kurt Sigetti
He was a junior.
Donald Trump
Wow. How good? Really good. Really good. Intercepted the ball, ran it back for the game's first touchdown. After securing a commanding 56 to 22 victory, this team was off to the championship. In the championship game against Miami, Indiana held a narrow 10 nothing lead at halftime, controlling the pace but unable to pull away. The score remained low for most of the game, but everything changed in the fourth quarter. That's true. With under 10 minutes remaining, Indiana faced a critical fourth and five. No coach in America would have done what this guy, they said, this guy is making such a mistake and he won. That was a hell of a play. You know, that's the kind of play if they don't do that play, if it doesn't work, that's like career threatening, right?
Kurt Sigetti
Got to play to win.
Donald Trump
You got to play. It was great. On Miami 13 yard line, Fernando took the snap and powered through the defense past the first down marker before launching himself into the end zone, extending Indiana's lead 24:14. But Miami wasn't done yet. The Hurricanes took possession and scored, cutting Indiana's lead 24 to 21. Indiana got the ball once more and put three more points on the board, pushing the score to 27 21. I mean, you have to see this game. I would say that coach, I know he's got a good reputation. This guy is called in the wrong place, but he kept winning, he kept. They kept scoring, they kept doing all this stuff, the things that weren't supposed to happen. You're just lucky you won that game because if you didn't, they would have said, this coach is crazy with just 51. That's why he's a great coach. With just 51 seconds left to tie the game, and deep within Indiana's territory, Miami's quarterback fired off a 30 yard pass only to be intercepted by Junior Jamari Sharp. Where's Jameri? Jamari. Jamari, come on up. Come here. Look at this. Go ahead, tell them how good they coach. Sig's a very good coach. You know, once he first came to Indiana, I didn't know if I was going to stay, but I stayed and I'm glad I stayed because we won a national championship. He doesn't want to leave the stage. Good looking guy, huh? Thank you, thank you. He didn't want to leave the stage. He's a natural. So the Hurricanes are great. The team is so great. Jameri, I want to thank you for getting up and making such a rousing speech. By the way, a lot of people don't do that. You know, a lot of times they'll do that and say, I don't want to talk, but he's got a future. A lot of things, probably football, first of all. From there, the outcome was sealed and the Hoosiers became national champions. Think of that, right? I was there. They would. You went through a lot of great teams. When you think. And real football powerhouses over the years.
Kurt Sigetti
That's pretty top ten teams.
Donald Trump
Yeah, amazing top tens. This team lifted the Indiana football program from A historic low. It really didn't have a good reputation over there, but tells you what coaching means, too. But your grit and discipline and your belief and your strength of character. The coaches, I think he's just incredible. I think it's an incredible story. When I heard they were coming today, I said, I got to meet that coach because he came out of, like, high school, a great high school program, but you made it good. But what you did is something that I don't think anybody has ever really done in college football, College football history. How is your. How is your team going to be this year, Coach, what do you think?
Kurt Sigetti
Well, we got a chance. If we commit and if we have discipline and a great work ethic and. And if we can handle success and we can handle failure and we're consistent day in, day out, we might have a chance.
Donald Trump
How about this guy? Is he central casting or what? He's. I'm going to watch you. I've got to watch you. You're amazing. You have made the fans really proud and inspired millions, all of you, the coach and the players, and reminded everyone that with determination and lots of hard work, anything's going possible. And I said to the coach, you know, we have a very special area. Well, that's very special. We're building a beautiful ballroom. You can see it's not too small, Coach. We need it. For 150 years, they've wanted a ballroom. We're going to give them the greatest ballroom anywhere in the country. I'm very good at ballrooms. I'm very good at building things. But I said to the coach, there's a special place here, and it's called the Oval Office. Everything sort of begins, ends and re. Begins again. And I said, if you like, Coach, I'll take your entire team back. And we're going to go to the Oval Office, show them the Oval Office, and we're going to give him a very, very special medal. And I said, so what do you want to do, Coach? He said, we want to go. Hold it. Do you guys want to go to the Oval Office? Yes, sir. I had a feeling. Did I say that? I had a feeling. So, coach, say a few words. You know, I'm really honored to be with this guy because he took something from. It's not like he inherited a great program. He inherited something that was less than great, and he made it into something that probably has never been done at this level. Never been done before. Congratulations, Coach.
Kurt Sigetti
Thank you. Got a lot of Hoosiers in the stands here and behind me we gotta give him one. 1, 2, 3, who, who, who, who? Right. 1, 2, 3, WHO, who, who? You got that? Okay, thank you. That's a lot of nice accolades there. Appreciate all that. It. It all starts with Pam Whitten, our president. Scott Dolson, our athletic director. You gotta have a commitment. Without a commitment at the top, nothing's possible. Okay, 20, 25 Indiana Hoosiers. All right. You know, 24 was a fluke, right? College football playoffs start out 10 and 0. You know, they won't be very good. All right, 16 and. Oh, that's the best record in college football since 1894. That's 132 years. That's before the NCAA. So safe to say that's the greatest record in college football history. Beat six top 10 teams. All right, and how did we get that done? All right? We had great people on the staff that thought alike in the locker room that thought alike. Great leadership, good talent, great character. Coachable 11 guys doing their job. Play in, play out. All right? The sum becomes greater than the whole, becomes greater than the sum of its parts. And the most consistent day in, day out, meeting in, meeting out, practicing, practice out, group I've ever seen in my life. And when. To me, it's a simple message, all right? Prepare the right way every single day to a high standard, and anything is possible in life. The only limitations are those between your ears, and you can't have any of those either. So go iu. Now it's my pleasure to introduce junior wide receiver Charlie Becker from Nashville, Tennessee, or as Gus Johnson would say, Charlie B. From Nashville, Tennessee.
Charlie Becker
How's it going, everybody? First of all, I just would like to thank Mr. President. Thank you so much for having us. This is an honor. I know I speak behalf of my team by saying we're going to remember this for the rest of our lives. And secondly, I would just like to thank all the Hoosier fans out there. You know, from the start of the season to the end of the season, y' all were there through the highs and the lows, and none of this is possible without y'. All. So thank you guys. And go iu.
Kurt Sigetti
All right, in our appreciation for this great visit today for President Trump, we have some Hoosier gear, which a couple years ago they were giving away. Now, you got to pay a lot of money for this stuff. So really appreciate this great opportunity and this great day. Thank you very much.
Donald Trump
Thank you very much. I like this guy. That's great, coach. Thank you. What else do you have over there? How About a helmet.
Kurt Sigetti
Here we go. We got a signed football 16 0. Fast, physical, relentless. Go IU. Kurt Signetti and player.
Donald Trump
That's great, Kurt. That's great.
Charlie Becker
We just got an IU helmet also.
Donald Trump
Thank you.
Kurt Sigetti
No, we'll let you keep the trophy for an nil country.
Donald Trump
I'll do that for nil. Boy, oh, boy, did the court screw us up, huh? It's all right. It's. Whatever happened, it seems to be working for you and you're going to. You're going to make it very successful. You're going to create something very, very successful. I have no doubt. So we're going to take the players now to the Oval Office and they're going to get a little glimpse at some. I think it's the most important piece of real estate anywhere in the world in terms of. In terms of victory and in terms of winning and in terms of things that are happening. Things are happening right now. Our country, you know, a little bit like your team. Our country a year and a half ago was laughed at. We were mocked. And now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. There's nobody close. We're the greatest military in the world. We're unparalleled and we're doing a job. We've made America great again and this team has got a tremendous future. Don't lose the coach. She said we can't lose the coach. It's a piece of work, right? We're not going to lose him. But I just want to thank everybody. It's a great turnout. It's a great turnout. But, you know, we do this a lot and there's always. Forward to. Because the story of Indiana University is really a legendary story. It's a very unusual story. We have a lot of teams where they win and they keep winning and they keep. Where they don't know what it is. And you have some that lose and get a little bit lucky. This is a team that came out from really a program that was a basketball program largely, and now it's a great, great football program and you're going to have a tremendous year. It's a fantastic group and I look forward to watching. It's going to be a very interesting. But you're going to have a great year. And I know people like this. There are very few of them. Never bet against a guy like this. I'm telling you. Never bet against a guy like Kurt. So thank you, Kurt, and coach very much. Okay, thank you very much. Thank you, everybody. We're going to take them to The Oval Office. Thank you.
Steve Bannon
Well, that's President Trump entertaining the crowd at the Rose Garden, it looks like. Yeah, that's a rose Garden. And University of Indiana, Hooers national champion and no Mr. Trump. I bet them. I bet them months before the season started. Fernando Mendoza. I bet if you watch this show, you know, I was getting 11 to 1 betting University of Indiana. I had them all the way through. Stay with them. Yeah, Mendoza is going to be a great NFL player. All right, let's get back to Spencer Pratt, shall we? On the west coast in Los Angeles. He's gaining traction in the Los Angeles mayor race because I don't know if he's doing so well. Met with much admiration, admiration and joy on the left. As you can imagine, they hate him. It's almost as if Democrats enjoy it when cities are reduced to crime ridden rubble. They're enraged. Like CNN panelist Lee McGowan who essentially breaks down on national television when she hears praise for Spencer Pratt.
Lee McGowan (continued)
I mean, his odds are going up. We'll see. This is a really uphill battle for him. But I think Republicans should be taking copious notes because he's literally, you just got to embrace common sense and be normal. And he is calling out the fact that leftists in LA seem to be fine with letting people, you know, shoot up in front of school. Schools, they're fine with dogs getting injected with fentanyl. They're doing nothing. And he's calling out some very obvious things that the vast majority of Americans can agree on. And he's going viral because of it. People want common sense.
Lee McGowan
Is this common sense for real? Like as an LA voter, as someone that will vote for mayor in Los Angeles? I'm telling you, this is the opposite of common sense. This is so embarrassing. I am so exhausted of being surrounded by this level of idiocy. It is not. This guy is not practical. Man's plan was to live off his reality fame. When that dwindled, he wanted to be an influencer. When that dwindled, he tried to make his wife a singer. It didn't work. So now he's going to be mayor of la. He says he's going to end corruption. How? He says he's going to have no more homeless. How? He says he's going to have renters rights.
Donald Trump
How?
Lee McGowan
I'm so sick of having politicians come in here with zero experience telling us they're going to fix everything. Have we learned nothing?
Steve Bannon
Let me just. Okay, calm down, McGowan, calm down. How about Gavin Newsom guaranteeing he was going to end homelessness. When he was mayor of San Francisco 15 years ago, he guaranteed the end of homelessness. He failed his way up to governorship and now he's going to try and fail his way up into the presidency. Democrats are saying it out loud, the quiet part. This is how important elections are and why it's so important to protect our elections. We can't let them do this. They can't cheat. They'll do everything dirty in the power to win the midterm so they can work to reverse every single bit of policy that President Trump and Republic Republicans have put in place to fix what they broke. California Congressman Ted Lieu says it out loud after being surprisingly called out by Margaret Brennan on cbs.
Donald Trump
Democrats are going to reduce health care costs, lower costs across the board, reduce your energy costs. That's the message.
Lee McGowan
How are you going to do that? Democrats shut down the government to have an argument over health care and they didn't get any policy concessions and premiums went up.
Donald Trump
You lost that fight. Well, actually we passed through the House an extension of ACA tax credits for three years. We urge the Senate to pass that legislation as well. Democrats, when we get control, we're going to reverse the massive Medicaid cuts, the Medicare cuts and the cuts of ACA that Trump and Republicans put in last year.
Steve Bannon
No doubt they're going to do all that policy change, but they do one thing first and then the second thing second. Those are impeach Trump and then impeach Trump again for something else.
Donald Trump
Just watch.
Steve Bannon
That's all they want to do. They just want the ball back so they can impeach Trump. The policy stuff they'll worry about later, guarantee it. And that's you may lose the House at this point, hopefully not. But you may lose the House, but you cannot lose the Senate because you lose the Senate, it goes to an impeachment. Senate confirms impeachments in the House. More Democrat promises of power hungry corruption on the Sunday shows, this time from adult diaper wearing Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, who really wants to pack the Supreme Court.
Lee McGowan
Would you, Senator, support an effort to add more seats to the Supreme Court to extend expand the court?
Cory Booker
Well, remember, there's a corrupt shadow hanging over the Supreme Court. These, some of these same members that are voting on decisions like this are accepting gifts from billionaires. We have RVs, lavish vacations. It's a corrupt court. The highest court in our land has the lowest ethics laws. Number two is the Supreme Court clearly within our power. I lead one of these pieces of legislation with Senator Whitehouse and others to give term limits to a Supreme Court. Supreme Court members that could go a long way in curing this. The Supreme Court desperately needs reform. It is a corrupt court and in my opinion, it is a court that needs reform. And I will continue to lead on those things.
Steve Bannon
That's corrupt to you, Cory Booker, because it's 6:3. Well, I shouldn't say 6:3. It's almost 6:ish. 3:ish. Conservative. I'm not sure what John Roberts is and I'm not really sure what the other two, Gorsuch and, and Amy Coney Barrett are. They kind of conservative, but they don't really vote the right way. A lot of times, very quickly, Democrats think that changing the words for things changes their meaning. We know this. One of the words they hate the most is illegal alien, even though that's actually the real legal term for those who are here in this country illegally, whether or not they like it, it's enjoyable. Watch Scott Jennings, school liberal poster child Cameron Keskey
Donald Trump
anymore.
Martha Stewart
You have the divorce.
Lee McGowan
The person.
Donald Trump
Who are you to tell me what I can and can't?
Public Podcast Announcer
I've never met you, brother. I can say whatever I want. They're illegal aliens.
Donald Trump
And that's what the law calls them.
Stephen K. Bannon
Illegal aliens.
Kurt Sigetti
That's what I'm going to call them.
Mike Baker
As for our conversation.
Steve Bannon
Yeah. Yep. Don't. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight, Mr. Cameron, whatever the hell your name is. He's right, Scott James.
Mike Baker
Right.
Steve Bannon
That's the legal definition. You want to change it, go ahead and change it. But you got to change it first before you start accusing people of being racist or bigoted. We'll be back. Two and a half minutes.
Donald Trump
Foreign.
Steve Bannon
So if you haven't been noticing, we've been doing a lot of work in the war room. In the morning, I'm joining Stephen Band. And we've been talking about this war. It's so many things that we've talked about weeks and weeks and weeks ago. Remember, we're on date 72 or 87. Ten weeks of this with so many things we talked about weeks ago happened to come to fruition later on. That's why I always say watch the war room. Could you find out what's happening next? Not what happened last week. When you watch mainstream media news, including Fox, you find out what just happened. We are exploring into what things that are happening next. Reason why I put this up is 2 weeks ago I put up this. We talked about it. Seaman and I talked about. I was like, hey, you know what? I'm watching the Villages and I'm watching Trump say no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on other things. I'm like, you know what, how about no tax on gasoline? That'll touch every single American. So I put this, this tweet up and I posted across all the four and a half million social media followers I have. And that was a couple of weeks ago on a Friday. Well, I sent it in to Pete Hegseth, I sent it in to Susie Wiles to talk to Steven Bannon about it. And look at what happened today, folks. Play that sound bite, if you don't mind. Ben, are you going to suspend the federal gas tax?
Donald Trump
Yeah, I'm going to reduce until the let me tell you, as soon as this is over with Iran, as soon as it's over, you're going to see gasoline and oil drop like a rock. Going to be dropping down like a rock. I mean, already, look, just on the basis of, you know, things have happened, when it first came, about 20% of the oil came out of Hormuz. That's a lot. But you know, with time, it's like they go into Texas, they're going to Louisiana, they're going to Alaska, a lot of Alaska. Alaska is, you know, sort of, it seems like very far away from the, from Asia.
Steve Bannon
We'll come out. Bring in Stephen K. Bannon because Steve, again, again, your show tells your audience folks what's coming, what's coming next. How cool is that? That some we talked to many of them, some. But the most recent one happened today, a couple of weeks ago. We talked about. Steve.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, I think the reason is that you're a trader. You've been a trader in the, in, in oil for what, three decades along, over 30 years. You look at it from a trader's perspective, which is what's driving a lot of this. And that's why your comments in the morning are so important, not just that you've already come up with, I think the biggest, this is fantastic. You, you brought this up. You brought a lot more. But the biggest one you brought up is where eventually I think we'll end up, which is some sort of, you know, some sort of relationship with the oil situation over there like we had with, you know, Saudi Aramco and you know, these others on the Arab side. I think you're over talking about overall deal because right now, you know, it's President Trump's between Iraq and a hard place. They Axios got access to the West Wing like the Artist they laid out, Eric, alternatives today. And most of those alternatives are either increased economic war through the blockade or to go back to alternatives on being kinetic. So I think President Trump, being a dealmaker, may use some of those as leverage, may have a discussion in Beijing, which I think is very necessary. But it looks like go kinetic. He's going to be looking for alternatives. I think your alternative, you laid out, I think, in the second week of the war, would probably be something that comes to play.
Steve Bannon
We did, and what we said was, how about you negotiate a deal for our oil companies, come in and increase their production in both Iran and also Venezuela, and then we get access to that increased production at market prices. Our oil companies will love it, our economy will love it. And Trump will always be known as a guy who brought energy independence to the United States when no one else could. Steve Xi Jinping. He's meeting Xi Jinping Wednesday. You're on the fence on whether this meeting should have taken place. But here's my question here. I think the big thing that could come out of this isn't even the Iran war or energy prices. Stephen, One of the most important things we got going on right now is this competition with China to, to win the AI race. If China takes Taiwan back and we're, we're there by treaty, we're supposed to protect Taiwan. But if they take Taiwan back, we lose that because somewhere around 90% of the global chip production, especially ours, comes from Taiwan. It's such an important island. Your thoughts on how strong he should be with, with Xi Jinping on Taiwan?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, we don't actually have, I don't think, a formal treaty, but we have, you know, historically, I think people would consider them an ally or a protectorate. Yes, I think it has to be very strong. There is, unfortunately, rumors in the course today. There's a piece or the other day by Oren Cass saying that President Trump's going to have discussions about China, the ccp, actually investing up to a billion dollars or trillion dollars in the United States. There's other discussions. You saw who he's taken on the plane. He's got many Chinese agents of influence, Scott of Apple and Elon Musk and others. He's got Fink, he's got Schwarzman, who have financed the Chinese Communist Party. It's not a great collection going on there. I hear that they're actually looking, they're elements in the administration trying to push President Trump to have some sort of language that accommodates Xi so that she can get the military off him about Our. You know, our adamant defense. But you're 100% correct. Artificial intelligence is number one. If we want to stop the race for artificial intelligence, what we have to do is 100% cut off the advanced chips. We got to tell Jensen Huang, who I notice is not on the plane. That's a big deal. That he no longer. We selling any advanced chips to the Chinese. We're not allowing 350,000 students to come here to our engineering schools. Nobody in the companies. Larry Fink and Schwarzman can't finance them anymore. The big investment banks can't finance them. It's all got to stop. So I think in China, I think you got to throw. My recommendation is throw down hard. In fact, while you're in Beijing, I think I'd take a carrier strike group and put it through the Strait of Taiwan, which we have not done in, I think, 30 or 30 years. So it's nice.
Steve Bannon
I like the way
Public Podcast Announcer
that was.
Steve Bannon
Oh, by the way, you know, we're being escorted. Just a touch. Just the hair. I like. Jensen Huang is. His arch enemy, is. Is the. You know, the Chinese chip maker that they're both fighting for global dominance on their own ships. So, yeah, I can see why you'd want to bring Jensen Long just yet, but that. That's a great point. With the strike group through the straight of Taiwan. Awesome.
Stephen K. Bannon
You like that? I thought you like that.
Steve Bannon
Bowling.
Stephen K. Bannon
That's up. That's up to your alley.
Steve Bannon
You're up my alley. I mean, where's Steve Band? In the White House, Damn it. Get him back in there. Let's, you know, knock some heads around. Feelings or anything. Come on.
Donald Trump
I'm.
Stephen K. Bannon
I'm happy in my purch. It real America's voice during the war room. That's where I'm doing the Lord's work, brother, and doing the handoff with you. What's better?
Donald Trump
You.
Steve Bannon
You have some breaking news, right? You're going to take care of this in the war room. So I'm going to hand it off to you so you don't miss any. Any time here. Some big news coming out of Supreme Court, perhaps?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yes, right now. In fact, we're trying to get Mike Davis on. The Democratic party has filed an emergency.
