Ahead on American Sunrise this morning, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani remains critical but stable after being admitted to the hospital over the weekend. We're going to have the latest on his condition straight ahead. Plus, President Trump indicates he will not sign off on the latest peace deal proposal from the Islamist leaders in Iran. He argues the country hasn't paid a big enough price. We'll have the latest and later redistricting efforts set to erupt across the country following the Supreme Court's ruling on the Voting Rights act last week. We will talk about how congressional maps can be reshaped as early as this year. Those stories and more as American SUNRISE starts on a Monday morning right now. Good morning America.

David Brody
Good morning, Gina.
Terrence
Madam, good morning, David. Good morning to you and welcome back. It's good to see your smiling face.
Dr. Gina

David Brody
Well, thank you. I was in the witness protection program, but I'm fine. Thanks for asking.
Terrence
Well, Dr. Gina, I hope we're not in danger now that he's resurfaced out of the Witness protection program. Don't you usually stay in that long term, David? I'm a little frightened.
David Brody
It depends on the day, but yes, yes.
Congressman Ralph Norman
Okay.
Terrence
So look, let's get to a story that a lot of people are buzzing about this morning. And David, you mentioned it earlier on in your teases. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, still in critical but stable condition after being hospitalized over the weekend. At this point, that is the latest information we have to go on. We Are of course continuing to work to see if we can get any updates on his condition. Also no word which hospital he's in. This morning, President Trump paying tribute to his former top aide in a truth social post, though writing our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a true warrior and the best mayor in the history of New York City by far, has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the radical left lunatics, Democrats all, and he was right about everything, writes the president. David and Gina, we of course are going to continue to monitor this story for updates throughout the day. But Rudy Giuliani, 81 years old, David, and you know, let's hope he pulls through, let's hope he improves. We don't know exactly how bad it is, but again, he isn't critical but still stable condition.
David Brody
Yeah, we expect more details later today. Look, Rudy, right? I mean, there was a movie, right? Rudy the hero. That's what Rudy is. I mean, he is a hero in this country. And liberals, shame on you for saying anything different. Pulling us through 9, 11 and so much more. Cleaning up New York. I grew up in New York. I saw the streets in the 1970s and Times Square disgusting and all of that. And Rudy Giuliani came along in the 90s and cleaned it all up. So let's pray, Gina and we love him. We just love. There's not much more to say about him.
Dr. Gina
Well, I have a couple things.
David Brody
I'm sure you do.
Senator Ron Johnson
Go ahead.
Dr. Gina
No, he's a cigar smoking buddy of mine. I smoked probably one of my very first cigars with him going back a long time ago. Very, very good friend for a long time. Of course, his longtime partner, Maria, Dr. Maria has been on shows many times. And of course, the mayor spends a lot of time here. And so I've gotten to hang out with him quite a bit and done some pretty crazy fun things with him. And so I'm just going to trust that he's going to get better. He's 81, but he's a fighting 81. I know 81 sounds. I mean, but think about it. I mean, president's almost that old. You know, he is a fighting 81 year old. And I just, I got to believe all that healthy nicotine he has flowing through his veins is going to get him through this.
David Brody
Well, and you know, let me just say one other thing. I've interviewed him about, I don't know, 20, 25 times or so. And I've known Rudy since he ran for president back in the day. And you know, he's so authentic. You know, there's no one going to be like Trump. But he was Trump before Trump.
Dr. Gina
That's true. I mean, he with the same kind of spine. Same thing. In fact, same thing. Don't you think, David, in a way kind of set a bar on just having spine and being who you are, 100%.
David Brody
And I remember, you know, he was getting ripped at the time for some of, some of his past. From a morality standpoint, we'll leave it at that. I'm talking about back in the 70s and 80s and then he ran for president and he didn't, when I say he didn't care, he was like, let's bring it on. You know what? Let's bring it up and let's talk about it. And that's fine. I mean, he never backed down on anything. And that's what I love about Rudy. I remember he actually says he wanted to be a priest actually before he got into politics, and that never happened.
Terrence
Anyhow, we're going to continue to pray for Rudy Giuliani and his full recovery, and I think that's a perfect segue. Dr. Gina, to get to our Bible
Dr. Gina
verse today, as we continue to pray for the mayor, let's also add in Joe Hoft and Jim Hoft into our prayers. They are, Jim is a longtime friend of mine, founder of the Gateway Pundit that many of us have come to know and love, one of the true leaders back in the Breitbart days regarding all of the Tea Party stuff. Anyway, and both brothers, if you can believe it, they're twins. Both of them are hospitalized right now for different reasons. Don't go crazy, conspiracy theorists. It's not that. But with that, for the mayor, for the hoft brothers, Psalm 29:2. Give unto the Lord the glory due his name, worship the Lord and the beauty of holiness. President Trump launching a new US Naval operation in the Strait of Hormuz as tensions with Iran remain on edge and global shipping through the region stays disrupted. The operation, called Project Freedom, will begin this week with the US Navy helping guide foreign commercial ships through the Strait, a vital waterway, of course, that handles major sharehold of the entire world's supply of oil. This move comes after months of the conflict, blockades and attacks on commercial vessels in the region. Joining us now with reaction, South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman. Congressman, good morning. Before I get to Iran, I really wanted to give you a chance to comment on both the Gateway punch, Hoff brothers and Mayor Giuliani. If you had any thoughts or prayers for Them?
Congressman Ralph Norman
Well, yeah. I mean, you know, you look at somebody like Rudy Giuliani and the courage that he had to clean up New York City, which they're going to wish Rudy was back or that somebody was taking the city to new heights as he did. It's not going to happen under Mondavi. The Haas brothers the same. They have courage. They have, you know, they contribute so much. And we'll miss people, we'll pray for their recovery. But, you know, you miss people who are willing to step out of the box and do the right thing and they qualify for all of that. And, you know, life well lived with both of them. Let's hope to get better.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, absolutely. You want to respond and see how you think Iran's going to respond to. Do you think hostilities are likely to resume? Is that where we are, Congressman?
Congressman Ralph Norman
You know, you wonder the president has pretty much broken down Iran. I mean, you've got a few lunatic leaders who care nothing about the innocent people in that country. And, you know, but they're going to suffer the wrath if they keep blocking the Straits of Hormuz. And I think you'll see a lot of that play out this week as the president puts the Navy in charge and puts people that put the ships where they need to be. And Iran, you know, you keep wondering why they're doing what they're doing. They're a broken country, but if they have to be totally demolished, that's what this president will do. He's not letting them enrich uranium and have a bomb that's going to hurt this country and other countries around the globe.
David Brody
Congressman, let's turn to that seismic Supreme Court decision about redistricting and the battle that is really going to impact several states. We have now House Speaker Mike Johnson pushing for Southern states to withdraw or, excuse me, redraw their congressional maps ahead of this year's midterm elections. In the wake of that decision, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster indicated he may follow suit. Where are you on all of this?
Congressman Ralph Norman
You know, I've been calling for redistricting district 6, which is Jim Clyburn's seat, when I announced for run for governor, it's something time is due and it's great the Supreme Court did what they did. Now we need to act on it. But you know, it's going to take the public getting involved and saying we need it, we need it now. And the people in District 6 are desperate for it. You know, of the 14 counties that make up this district in South Carolina, eight of them are split like a jigsaw puzzle. You have to be a surveyor, a land surveyor to figure out where to go vote and which precinct to go to. So the time has come for the people and let them choose who they want. And, you know, you keep hearing it's going to go all Republican. Well, we'll just see. I hope it does because what the Democrat Party is now is so destructive and so socialistic that they don't identify with people in South Carolina. But I think all over the country, the people are getting a wake up call to what this Democrat Party has become.
Terrence
Congressman, want to ask you a question about military operations overseas. And I think you've got a unique perspective as a congressmember from South Carolina, which of course includes Fort Jackson, a major military installation. A major, excuse me, military installation. President Trump just last week ordering a reduction in the number of US Troops that are stationed in Germany. Many of those troops from Fort Jackson go to Germany and come back. It's kind of one of those transition points lawmakers are pushing back, though, including the chairs of both the House and Senate Armed Services Committees. They're arguing that a reduction of that scale sends the wrong message to Russia specifically, which of course continues to press its aggressive war against Ukraine. Where do you stand on withdrawing troops from Germany or Europe in general, particularly at that sort of scale when we're talking about thousands of troops?
Congressman Ralph Norman
Terrence, we have leaders now, Pete Heckstead, Raising Cain. General Raising Cain. They're experts at what they do. I listened to some of the hearings that Pete Hecstaff had to suffer through. And you know, they know what they're doing. And I trust President Trump has got this where it needs to be. And if it's 5,000 troops that need to be leave Germany, that's the way it ought to be. He's arranging things that make sense for America. And look at the past. Look at all the strikes that he has done from Venezuela to Iran. They've all succeeded and they've been dangerous missions, but they put the people in place to make decisions. So I trust them 100%. And the doubters need to come forward with, you know, what are they doubting? What do they know that Pete Hecks death and Raising Cain don't know and President Trump. So I trust them. And look at the track record of the success that this military has had. And I think it's a pretty impressive string of successes.
Dr. Gina
All right. Well, Congressman Ralph Norman, we always love having you on the show. Thanks for being with us this morning.
Congressman Ralph Norman
My pleasure.
Terrence
Thank you, Congressman.
Dr. Gina
Thanks a lot okay. Coming up, we're going to check out the hottest headlines from the RAV newsroom. That'll be with tbase. Also later, President Trump will take the latest peace deal proposed by Iran. No, I'm not saying that he will. That was actually supposed to be a question as it was written in this prompter. Do you think President Trump will hold out and use the art of the deal? There's more American Sunrise and maybe Gina will learn to read in two minutes.

That is the American flag. Or if you've got blue hair and you're a far leftist, it's a flag that has some red and some blue and some white on it. Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. Terrence Bates
The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older.
Terrence
AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can right the course of America. We're expecting an update today on former New York City mayor and Trump confidant Rudy Giuliani, who remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition. Taking the true social President Trump lamenting the 81 year old's condition, adding what a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the radical left lunatics, Democrats all. And he was right about everything. They cheated on the elections, fabricated hundreds of stories and did everything to destroy our nation. And no. And now look at Rudy. So sad. He writes there's still no word what is ailing Giuliani. But we'll update you on his condition as soon as we get new information today. Meantime, Project Freedom is underway in the Strait of Hormuz. It is President Trump's latest effort to get maritime traffic in the disputed waterway, moving despite the ongoing U.S. blockade. The commander in chief is offering to guide ships through the strait, saying that Iranian efforts to block them will be dealt with forcefully. The U. S. Led Joint Maritime Information center is advising ships to cross the strait in Oman's waters. The secure passage effort could involve guided missile destroyers, more than 100 aircraft and some 15,000 service members. However, at this point, the administration is not being specific about the amount of resources being set aside for what's being called an enhanced security area in the strait. The president calls the effort a humanitarian gesture on behalf of the United States after Iran has recently fired on ships trying to navigate through the U.S. s blockade. And Europe is reacting to President Trump's decision to pull 5,000American troops out of Germany, 47 also indicating that he may cut troop numbers by even more than that. The move comes amid a dispute with German Chancellor Friedrich Matz over the US Israeli war with Iran. Germany and other European allies have been reluctant to support the United States in this conflict, which has led to the immense criticism from the United States commander in chief. This morning, European leaders are meeting in Armenia and assessing their next steps.
Dr. Gina
There has been a talk about withdrawal of US Troops for a long time from Europe, but of course, the timing of this announcement comes as a surprise. I think it shows that we have to really strengthen the European pillar in NAT and we have to really do more.
Terrence
Some EU and NATO members see the US Troop drawdown as a sign that Europe will have to take care of its own security. The idea is especially pronounced given the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. That's a quick check of your headlines. We'll have more headlines coming your way in just a little bit. But now let's get a quick check of your forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. By the way, a quick reminder. Go to our various social media sites, be at Ghetto Rumble, YouTube, let us know where you're hanging out. And in our next hour, Tracy might hook you up with the hometown forecast. TT Good morning to you.
Tracy Anthony
Hey, good morning. Yeah, drop them in the chat. You know, I know we have a few viewers that chime in from Illinois. Look at this, Terrence. This was a dust storm in Illinois yesterday.
Terrence
Oh, wow. That looks like snow or rain, not dust. You can barely see. That's crazy.
Dr. Gina
Yeah.
Tracy Anthony
You know, I don't think I've ever covered the blowing dust advisory in Illinois, only in the desert southwest. But I found out that it's typically this time of year when it's dry, it's windy, and during that spring agricultural cycle, when there's exposed soil, it kicks up all of that loose dust and soil and dirt and debris and causes visibility under, you know, a quarter of a mile in some spots. You can see it off on the horizon here in this video from Illinois as well. So just kind of some cool weather stuff to round out the weekend. But we still do have the blowing dust advisory in effect for parts of Illinois and even a few counties in Indiana. So be mindful of that if you're getting out on the roadways. That blowing dust advisory will be in effect through this evening. Out west, it's going to be a different story. We are talking a significant amount of moisture working in across the desert Southwest. And Terrence, that means I have an update for your forecast here in just a minute. But we're also tracking severe storms across the Central Plains for the next three days. So Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday as a cold front stretches farther down towards the Gulf. But temperatures today pretty seasonable across the board. We're starting to have some heat, heat building here across the Central Plains. Portland dropping from the 90s yesterday back down to the 80s. So it's going to feel a little bit nicer for you. But Terence, I wanted to get this on your radar because I know you like the heat, you like summer, but Denver under some winter storm watches.
Terrence
Yeah. Am I going to get snow? I was trying not to make this about me, but I'm sorry, folks, I've got to, I heard the that we're about to get some more winter weather. Is it going to be snowy or is it going to be more in higher elevations in the Denver area?
Tracy Anthony
So the higher elevations are expecting to get up to 2ft. As for i25, it's going to be that heavy wet snow. Not quite sure just how much yet, but once this low pressure center gets over the Southwest, I'll be able to kind of fine tune that forecast.
Terrence
Okay. All right, Tracy, thank you. Thank you so much. All right. I'm going to go into hibernation, folks. I'll see you guys next week after this winter weather passes. Tracey, thanks so much. Coming up, President Trump says he's going to most likely reject the latest peace deal proposal from Iran. We'll have the latest on the conflict and what could reignite hostilities. That's all after the break.

Is this town Vicksburg, Mississippi, named after Michael Vick? Michael Vicksburg? Are there any pit bulls in this? Oh, I'm sorry, that was two seconds soon. My bad. Welcome back everybody, to American Sunrise. All right. New diplomatic efforts are underway to ease tensions in the Middle east, but President Trump says he's not ready to accept Iran's latest offer. Iran's proposed deal would reopen shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, or as he says, the Strait, and end the US Naval blockade while Delay Delane, excuse me, talks over its nuclear program until later negotiations. So in a true social post, President Trump wrote the following. I will soon be reviewing the plan that Iran has just sent to us, but can't imagine that it would be acceptable and that they have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to humanity and the world over the last 47 years. You know, only President Trump can write posts like that. God bless him. Joining us now with analysis is emergency physician, Air Force Reserve colonel and North Carolina candidate for lieutenant governor, Dr. Josh McConaughey. Dr. Wakonki, good morning. What do you think Project Freedom here and everything going on. We're waiting for the other shoe to drop in Iran. Whether or not he'll actually, the president will finish the job or is the job actually finished? Good morning.
Dr. Josh McConaughey
Well, Iran has really had. Good morning. Iran has painted themselves into a corner. So, you know, with the recent firing on vessels, you know, having some of those small crafts laying a few mines, they're really not putting themselves in a good position. Certainly the, the, they're holding the entire world economy hostage right now. And their 14 piece plan that they had submitted, it's, it's almost a joke. I mean, they want assets unfrozen, they want access to money. We've seen what they've done with that money in the past under Obama and Biden. You know, the $6 billion that Biden released. So anything that has those types of demands, in addition to them still refusing to give up their nuclear program, that's just a non starter.
Terrence
Doc, what do you make of President Trump's foreign policy as it relates to these various war zones around the world? Obviously you just talked about Iran, but it seems that he's also now leaving security in Europe up to the Europeans and NATO given the ongoing threat from Russia in Ukraine and elsewhere. And, and then you of course, can never forget about China, which is a consistent and ongoing threat as well.
Dr. Josh McConaughey
You know, so that's all part of that, that chess match that's going on right now. When you look all the way down to Venezuela and choking China off from that oil to now Iran, it puts, it puts China in a very difficult position. And at the end of the day, either completely, it delays or stops their invasion of Taiwan. So strategically that, that's very big. And then just looking at NATO and I've mentioned on this show before on American Sunrise, you need every member of that team to step up, pay their 2%. 2%. And I had referenced the Chicago Bulls, you know, we need NATO to step up and play some of those partner Roles, you know, Steve Kerr, Scottie Pippen. It's one thing entirely to pull Michael Jordan right off the court from one of those teams. And those threats of pulling American service members out, I know it caught the senior leadership at the Pentagon by surprise. I think it's really important to show that solidarity with Europe because Putin capitalizes on those types of things. But at the end of the day, it's just about using leverage to get NATO to pay their share and get their military readiness up to par.
Dr. Gina

Oh, Josh, what would a takeover of Cuba really look like? I was like, well, who's going to ask the question? Oh, that would be me. And what really, though, does the US Stand to gain from it? Talk about what this would look like. I think many of us have forgotten what we would expect in a situation like that.
Dr. Josh McConaughey
You know, first off, the mainstream media just jumps on those. I mean, people are laughing. It's clearly said in jest that I don't believe the President has plans to invade Cuba right now. But looking at a long term national defense, having that regime just 90 miles from the Florida border has always been a thorn in our side. And I'm not sure how the media doesn't remember, but they try to spin this. This has been American foreign policy for almost 70 years. So when you look back as far as President Eisenhower and President Kennedy, not only did they authorize the CIA for regime change and, you know, trying to get rid of that, that Fidel Castro regime, they actually authorized assassination attempts. So, you know, having a secured partner, a democracy in Cuba is clearly in our best interests. This has been American policy for 60 to 70 years. So nothing has really changed other than President Trump is the first president who's actually had enough economic pressure and ramping up these sanctions, again, choking Cuba off from that Venezuelan oil and now the Iranian oil. They're in a very bad spot. And at some point we need to affect that change.
David Brody
Dr. McConkey, before we let you go, how does it look down there for the lieutenant governor race. Obviously, you're running down there in North Carolina. What about the redistricting, Supreme Court decision, how that affects North Carolina? Yeah.
Dr. Josh McConaughey
You know, things are looking very good. We are one on one with Rachel Hunt right now. I tie her to the three amigos. You've got Cooper, Josh Stein, and Rachel Hunt. They were all part of those policies to shut down schools, burn businesses to the ground, and we have to hold them accountable. So, number one, this 2026 U.S. senate race, it cannot be Covid Cooper. We need Whatley to pull through this. And then talking about that ruling. North Carolina has had fair maps. We had our redistricting in 2022 and had some minor redistricting in 2024. That Supreme Court ruling doesn't really change what we do in North Carolina. We've had very fair maps and we're all excited about this 2026 midterm election.
David Brody
Very nice. You've been an emergency physician. Now you're trying to do some surgery there in North Carolina. We appreciate you. Thank you, sir.
Dr. Josh McConaughey
Thank you.
Terrence
Nice play, David.
David Brody
Well, thank you. I've been working all segment for that. I haven't been listening to anything anybody's been saying. I've just been coming up with that line, that's not true. Thank you so much.
Dr. Gina
Thank you, Doc.
Terrence
Thanks, Doc.
David Brody
All right, coming up, a common knee surgery is now coming under scrutiny after new studies suggest it actually may not help patients at all. Wait, hold on. I want to hear the story. I hope you do, too. We're back in a moment.

Dr. Gina
Hi. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Tina. Thank you for joining us. It is time now for for today's health news sponsored by the wellness company under the microscope. Today, a major news study raising questions about one of the most common knee surgeries in the world. Oh, you guys. These kinds of stories just frustrate me. Researchers say a procedure known as partial meniscectomy is used to treat torn meniscus cartilage. May not even improve pain or mobility long term and could increase the risk of arthritis and future knee replacement surgeries. Yeah. Well, this ten year study followed patients who received the surgery and compared them to others who underwent a sham procedure. Researchers found little to no long term benefit. These findings now sparking a broader debate inside the medical community about whether some common procedures are overused and whether patients are being given the best options before going under the very expensive knife. Yes, just take this for what it's worth. If there are surgeries that are commonly done that you are considering, make sure you have. I would at least speak to a functional medicine doctor first for these kinds of studies that are not put out there widely, especially regarding cancer because the cancer industry is one of the is, if not the probably most profitable in the entire world. There's a lot of money to be made keeping people having knee surgeries and cancer surgeries and all the rest. All right. There's a groundbreaking new study that shows that there is a safe, inexpensive potential cancer treatment. It's a drug many of us already know about, Ivermectin. This new study shows individuals who took ivermectin parasite fighting medication. This gained some fame, you know, during COVID We all remember that along with the drug membendazine, a little different from fenbendazole. This one's membendazole. These patients saw incredible results with their battles with cancer. This incredibly promising result has many Americans wondering where they can get us made Ivermectin and menbendazole combination. That is where the wellness company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time in this network. You know their products are the gold standard keeping you and your family safe, safe and healthy. The wellness company is making 100American made ivermectin menbendazole available to rap viewers at a very affordable price point. Say no to big pharma's greed and to big pharma's poisons. Then say yes to a company that you can trust to bring you safe, affordable Effective treatments. If you are someone you love interested in trying this combination, I urge you to go to TWC Health. Rav. Give it an order. That's TWC Health, Raph. Use the promo code Raph. It'll save you 10%. Right, Debro.
David Brody
Correct. I have a quick question for you. In your contract to do the show, do you get paid more for pronouncing those words? Membenvazole, bazinvazole, all those you do so well.
Nicole Kripilov
I could never do it.
Dr. Gina
Thank you. Yes. No. You know, it's weird. I was raised in a very medical family and my family all traditional Rockefeller medicine. But I learned those words just because here I went on house calls with my grandpa, heard my mom and dad talking about it just, it's sort of. It's a weird like second language to me or something. I don't know.
David Brody
Well, you do a great job. I just want to. Seriously? You really do. I stick to two syllable words. Okay, let's move on. This is a great medical story. So a woman. Well, I say great. Listen to this story. A woman who never smoked is sharing her shocking lung cancer diagnosis. Doctors say her story is actually part of a growing trend that many Americans still don't know about. So here's the deal. She lived a healthy lifestyle. She never used tobacco. She had no reason to suspect lung cancer until persistent symptoms led to a devastating diagnosis. Experts say as many as 20% of lung cancer cases now occur in people who never smoked. Researchers say possible causes include radon exposure, air pollution, secondhand smoke, certain genetic mutations without women appearing to be, or I should say, women appearing to be disproportionately affected. Joining us now to talk more about this is the founder of Cancer Doesn't Care. She's also the author of the book One Scan Saved My Life. Shira Bowler is with us here on American Sunrise. Shira, thanks for being here. I tell you what, so let's start with your diagnosis. So you had no reason to believe that you were at risk. So tell us more about that. Fascinating.
Shira Bowler
Yeah, you're right. I have never puffed a cigarette. I'm an active runner. Very healthy. You go for the fridge, not the pantry, as I tell my children when they come home from school every day. And my husband and I just did a full body scan together. I am from a medical family. Both parents are doctors. My dad's actually a lung doctor. And both my brothers are doctors. And my husband and I have a healthcare investment firm. So we say yes to all the opportunities that are in front of us right now. We had our full genome sequenced. We did 23andMe. I did the blood test, the gallery grail and everything from my genetics to the blood test all showed that I was low risk for any sort of cancers, things like that. I ultimately did an MRI. It came back with a 3.8 centimeter mass in my lung. But the doctors kind of dismissed it. They said, you're never smoker. You ran six miles this morning. Don't worry about it unless symptoms appear. I think having a family in the medical world, I asked more questions, I talked to my dad about it. I ultimately woke up one morning, had a low dose CT after my other six mile run, walked into the doctor and they told me I had lung cancer. And what I realized was that lung cancer is killing more young, healthy women than breast cancer and ovarian cancer and colon cancer combined. We're not talking about it. So I was the luckiest girl in the world to find it in stage one without any symptoms, but also not unique in my diagnosis. And that's when I went full steam ahead and wrote a book.
Dr. Gina
I literally have so many questions, I can't even organize them in my brain. Number one, did you have symptoms? Because I'm a little confused on that. Number two, what was your treatment? And number three, what is your prognosis?
Shira Bowler
Great. So I had no symptoms. I honestly ran six miles the day I did that scan. I remember my girlfriend and I went for a six mile run. I went in and had that ct and then I walked into the pulmonologist and when he said, you have lung cancer, I said, oh, wrong person. And he said, no, you have lung cancer. I said, no, wrong person. I honestly have sweaty hair because I just ran six miles. I think you have the wrong scan and it's confusing something. I have no symptoms. I went in and had a pulmonary function test. And I remember the thoracic surgeon said, I've never seen such strong lungs. I think our lungs, our healthy parts, can compensate for the parts that are sick. And so my body could handle it. And I continued to exercise and run and never had a single symptom.
Dr. Gina
What was your treatment?
Shira Bowler
Yeah, the treatment. I had a lobectomy. So they removed my middle right lobe of my right lung and as well as the lower part of my upper lobe. And I ended up with clear margins and nothing in my lymph nodes. Today I actually am just on an aggressive surveillance. So I get scanned every three months and have blood work every six weeks. To be honest with you, lung cancer Research is a decade or two behind other cancers. A lot of times we thought of it as a deserved disease because it was considered a lifestyle choice. So it's just behind. So there isn't actually a great medicine for me today. But that's okay because I'm stage one and I'm considered no evidence of disease and I'm just being watched. And I'm sure that if it comes back, which it hopefully never will, they'll have a medicine for me then. But I'm back to running six miles multiple days a week about five weeks after surgery. My surgery was in October and I'm doing great. And I, I'm honestly one of the luckiest people I know because finding lung cancer survivors is a hard thing to find since most people find it in stage four once they're symptomatic, and then the chance of survival is less than 10%.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. My mother died of lung cancer. That also was not related to any of the above factors that you're talking about. That's why I'm very curious about this and I really would love a copy of your book. But it makes you wonder almost. First of all, the money in breast cancer. Cancer is ridiculous. A lot of people make a lot of money in that. Makes you wonder if the money is not the same in lung cancer research since we don't have a lot of answers and we know that it can be genetic. And also makes you wonder if there would have been some natural courses you could have taken that many of us wouldn't have even thought of because none of us are diagnosed this soon. Very interesting. Thank you so much for your book, Cher Boaler. Appreciate you.
Shira Bowler
Thank you.
Dr. Gina
All right, coming up, New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdami says the city has set aside cash to pay reparations, but he also says the big apple's broke. Oh, whoops. That story's next right after the break.
Filler Host/Announcer
Welcome back. Coffee pods are easy, but most of them are just caffeine and nothing else. Rejuvenate pods are built differently. They're clean pods infused with caakg, a compound linked to longevity, metabolism and deep cellular energy. It's the easiest way to get better focus, smoother energy, and long term benefits without changing your routine. I choose them because they match the lifestyle. I want more energy, more clarity, and more intention in how I start my day. If you're going to drink coffee anyway, make it one that actually supports the life you're building. Head to 1775 coffee.com/rav and try rejuvenate pods today. Don't just drink coffee. Rejuvenate. All right, now that we are caffeinated, it's time to stay awake, not woke. And who is yet again woke today? New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, who is under fire after allocating 500,000 taxpayer dollars to fund community discussions on reparations, money that internal documents show will also cover refreshments and cash incentives for attendees. You can't make this up. This comes as the city stares down a $5.4 billion budget deficit over the next two fiscal years, with New Yorkers already getting hammered by rising crime, soaring rents, and higher tax bills. On top of that, Mandani's preliminary budget requests more than $10 million combined for the Commission on Racial Equity and the Office of Racial Equity, a roughly $3 million increase over the last year, even as he calls on Albany to help close the city's massive budget gap.
Nicole Kripilov
Gap.
Filler Host/Announcer
Let's bring in Dr. Gina, David, and Terrence for discussion. Terrence, we were saying this last week to make it make sense. I mean, this is just an egregious waste of money.
Terrence
Yeah, it's a huge waste of money, but it is what Zoran Mandami is. He told you what he was going to do, and he is now following through on all of that. It's called fiscal irresponsibility, not fiscal responsibility. Fiscal irresponsibility. And the taxpayers of New York are not only footing the bill, but they're also going to pay for it in terms of the policies that come out of this and in terms of loss of resources that should be going to normal city duties and normal city services. David. Yeah.
David Brody
Look, New York City has, quote, a budget crisis of historic proportion. And I put it as a quote. You know who said that? Quote, Mayor Zoran Mamdani said that himself, literally. He admits there's a budget crisis of historic proportion. Look, I'm from New York. This is personal for me. I want New York to get better. I want it to succeed. But quite frankly, if I'm being fully honest, I wouldn't necessarily mind if New York got far worse. And it will get far worse under Mamdani, because people need to learn a lesson. I don't think they necessarily will. Not the leftists, but maybe more folks that are on the fence. Gina, will realize that socialism does not work. Oh, by the way, neither does communism.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. When someone tells you who they are, believe them. He told us who he was. And just as Terrence said. And, you know, you watch him, though. He goes on these, like New York morning shows, right? And he talks about all the signs. He's just. They. They Let him be Mr. Personality. Right. They don't ask him any hard questions. They're not asking him budget questions. Right. I'm sorry. My hair is driving me crazy today. Just one of those days where just. And I can't stop touching it. You're never supposed to do that on tv. So don't do this, children. But, you know, so you. You. You realize that they're just. They're totally giving him a pass, that New Yorkers don't know the difference, by and large. If you. If you went out on the streets, Emily, and you just asked random Joes, you know, hey, how do you like Madami? Oh, he's such a nice guy.
Filler Host/Announcer
Yeah.
Dr. Gina
You know, and that's as far as
Filler Host/Announcer
they can go, though. They can't talk about any of the policies and the thing. Thing, Gina, that was so disappointing in this election. It was young women that were really carrying this guy. And it's like, if you look at New York City, the rising crime, young women are the ones that are victimized in New York City. And it's just. It's such a. So, so ignorant. Gina. It's so frustrating.
Dr. Gina
Can we be bigger than to fall for charm? He's charming. He's. He's very nice.
Filler Host/Announcer
Swag something nice.
Dr. Gina
I don't know. He's got a little swagger. You know what? So what? So do most sociopaths. Okay, so let's.
Filler Host/Announcer
So did Ted Bundy.
Dr. Gina
Exactly. Look, start right there.
David Brody
Yeah, good points. I'm sorry. I have nothing to say. I'm just talking to myself. Go ahead.
Terrence
I'll just add one really quick thing, though, so all of these ideas, like, in this particular case, he wants to have conversations. Like, if you're going to spend my money, at least spend it on something beyond conversations. And not that I necessarily agree with this, but let's put some action behind it. I don't want to talk. Don't spend billions of millions of dollars on conversations and snacks. Put that money towards some actual action. And in this particular case, I think he's just talking a big game. But he doesn't really want to do
Dr. Gina
much, but he goes to the homeless shelters and hands out Twinkies. Terrence, He's a hero.
Filler Host/Announcer
I was going to say those guys really do snap for all of that
Terrence
money looks good, but you ain't really trying to do anything like, give me a Twinkie and I don't have a home. That doesn't go very Far for me, just my thoughts.
Filler Host/Announcer
All right. Great discussion, you guys. Coming up, our moment of faith. As Americans across the country observe the National Day of Prayer, we'll look at the history behind the tradition and why many say it still matters today. We'll be right back. Stay with us.
David Brody
God bless the usa.
Public Podcast Sponsor
In the beginning, God created the heavens.
Terrence
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our moment of faith, which is brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. In focus today, the National Day of Prayer. It's an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, when Americans of all faiths are invited to come together and pray for our nation, our leaders, and our communities. Established by Congress in 1952 and signed into law by President Harry Truman, the National Day of Prayer carries on a tradition as old as America itself. It's one that has shaped our country from the Founding Fathers to this very day. For further discussion, let's bring in historian Bill Federer to the show. Good morning to you, Bill. How are you?
Terrence Bates
Hey, Terrence. Great to be with you.
Terrence
So is there a moment that inspired the birth, if you will, of the National Day of prayer in 1952? Is there something that specifically inspired that?
Trevor Comstock
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
Well, the Cold War, matter of fact, I put together a book called Prayers and Presidents, and I go through it all, really. The tradition goes back to the colonial era, and they would have days of prayer when things got bad, days of fasting and prayer when things were really bad, and then days of thanksgiving when things turned around. One time there was a day of fasting and a ship of supplies pulls in the harbor and they go, cancel the fasting. We're having a day of thanksgiving. And then you had the Revolutionary War and the Continental Congress had days of prayer, days of fasting, days of thanksgiving, all the time through the marriage and mediation of Jesus Christ. And then Washington had a day of prayer during the Whiskey Rebellion. Right. This was the first internal crisis that their country was facing. And then a quasi war with France. And John Adams has two days of fasting and prayer in 1798 and 99. Then you have the War of 1812, and the British burned the White House. And James Madison has a day of fasting and prayer, Civil war before it. James Buchanan had a day of fasting and prayer. Lincoln had two days of fasting and prayer. Matter of fact, a lot of people are familiar with some of the wording. Lincoln said, we have forgotten God. We have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our hearts that all these Blessings were produced by some superior wisdom of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we've become too proud to pray to the God that made us. Anyway. Then you have World War I and Woodrow Wilson has a day of fasting and prayer in 1918. And then Franklin Roosevelt has a D Day prayer. Matter of fact, I sent out a daily email, American Minute, and Chris Long with the Ohio Christian alliance got it. And saw how I mentioned that there was zero mention of God on the World War II memorial. Well, he gets his Congressman Bill Johnson, Senator Rob Portman, they put forth a Bill, it takes 10 years and he finally got it approved. And they have 50 yards, yards away from the World War II memorial, the circle of remembrance, where they have a bronze plaque of Franklin Roosevelt's D Day prayer. Almighty God, our sons, pride of our nation, this day set upon a mighty endeavor to preserve our republic, our religion and our civilization. And of course, what religion? Well, FDR is passing out Gideon's New Testaments by the millions and Book of Psalms. Then you have the Cold War. And that brings up to the date that you mentioned, it's Truman and he's contrasting America with the Soviet Union. And so Truman makes the day of prayer an annual event and then Nixon makes it the first Thursday in May. So just a fascinating history of our country turning to God in times of crises.
Terrence
Absolutely. One nation under God. And we see it in action here this coming Thursday. Bill, always good to see you, my friend. Thanks so much for the history lesson. Appreciate it.
Congressman Ralph Norman
It.
Terrence Bates
Well, thank you.
Terrence
Absolutely. We're back with the second hour of American Sunrise right after this.
David Brody
Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise here on a Monday morning, did the Supreme Court just save the GOP from certain doom in the midterms? Well, the race is on to change the congressional map in red states after a huge high court ruling. We're gonna break it all down. Plus, Anthony Fauci's former right hand guy was just indicted over a Covid cover up. Should Fauci be next? Senator Ron Johnson joining us to explain his latest effort to bring Fauci to justice just days before the statute of limitations runs out to charge him. And later, gas prices skyrocket over the weekend as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. The latest on the conflict with Iran. Those stories, so much more as the second hour of American Sunrise kicks off right now. Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's Coke, we have breaking news to share with you.

I'm David Brody.
Terrence
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. I am in D.C. let's bring in Dr. G in West Palm Beach. T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Hello. My triple box BFFs. Good morning.
Dr. Gina
Hello, David. Just trying to calm the hair down this morning. That's been the goal from the beginning of the show. So it doesn't take up the whole screen. I don't know.
David Brody
That's the goal of the show.
Dr. Gina
I did kind of double washed my hair yesterday. Maybe that's what made. I don't know. Anyway, sorry, everyone.
David Brody
No, let's do a separate segment.
Terrence
There's not much I can say. I've got no real perspective on that. Haven't in decades. Sorry.
David Brody
And I'm about to have no perspective.
Dr. Gina
You with hair, Terence. I think that would be a great thing. You should bring one of those.
David Brody
Oh, yes. Oh, yes. That's one to watch. I'm sure at the end of the show.
Terrence
I'm sure I can find one like. Unfortunately, those pictures are post pre Facebook and any other sort of social media that keeps all of your pictures. But I'm sure I can dig one up somewhere.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I googled it, never found it.
David Brody
We want to see it.
Terrence
Probably won't. All right, well, that will be something I'll work on here over the next couple of days. In the meantime, we're expecting an update today. On Friday, former New York City mayor and Trump confidant Rudy Giuliani, who remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition. There's still no word what's ailing Giuliani. Taking to truth social though President Trump lamenting the 81 year old's condition, adding, what a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the radical left lunatics, Democrats all. And he was right about everything. They cheated on the elections, fabricated hundreds of stories and did everything to destroy our nation. And now look at Rudy. So bad. He writes. Meantime, Project Freedom is underway in the Strait of Hormuz. It is President Trump's latest effort to get maritime traffic in the disputed waterway moving despite the ongoing U.S. blockade. The commander in chief is offering to guide ships through the strait, saying that Iranian efforts to block them will be dealt with, quote, forcefully. The U. S Led Joint Maritime Information center is advising ships to cross the strait in Oman's waters. The secure passage effort could involve guided missile destroyers, more than 100 aircraft and some 15,000 US servicemembers. Europe is reacting to President Trump's decision to pull 5,000American troops out of Germany, 47 also indicating that he may cut troop numbers by even more than that. The move comes amid a dispute with German Chancellor Friedrich Matz over the U. S Israeli war with Iran. Germany and other European allies have been reluctant to support the US in the conflict, which has led to immense criticism from the US Commander in chief. Some EU and NATO members see the US Troop withdrawal as a sign that Europe will have to take care of its own security. The idea is especially pronounced given the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. That's a quick check of your headlines. We'll have more headlines coming your way shortly. But now let's get a quick check of your forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. Tracy, you also have some hometown forecasts for us.
Public Podcast Sponsor
Good morning.
Tracy Anthony
Hey, good morning. We are going to start off in Michigan, Orangeville, Michigan, to be exact, where enjoy the warm temperatures today, 76 degrees, a mix of sun and clouds. We're cooling down though come Tuesday a high of only 56 degrees. So we're going to drop 20 degrees overnight. Temperatures are going to drop into the 30s. So you're going to want to bundle up, especially if you're out early in the morning. This coming in via rumble from eyes am I? I think that's MI at the end for Michigan, I'm not quite sure. But Witchita, Kansas, that's our second stop. We are going to be talking similar forecast. Look at this, 86 degrees today. So this is where the heat is building. But we do have cooler temperatures in the forecast. So this cold front is actually going to impact a good majority of us across the Central Plains all the way down to Missouri and Kansas. So this one coming in from BrensNow5874 on YouTube. Now here's a look at that cold air by Wednesday. Notice Denver 43, St. Louis going to be in the 60s but a lot of us still trending below average for this time of year. So overnight temperatures and overnight lows by midweek going to be a whole lot cooler. But Tara. Need the rain. I know, but you desperately need that moisture for areas like Denver, the Southeast, a similar situation.
Terrence
Absolutely. Just look at my lawn and you can tell how much rain we need. And we just found out that we're going to be under water restrictions this summer as well. I think we get to water twice a week. So yeah, this ain't going to be a good year for the Bates lawn, but it probably never is. Anyway, thanks so much, Tracy.
Tracy Anthony
Yep, definitely. And make sure you download the Weather Nation app for all your details.
Terrence
All right, thank you so much. Let's get you over to David. David, are you guys going to be under water restrictions up there in Maryland as well? And are you kind of the person on your block that has the best lawn, or are you the neighbor that people look at and like this guy right here? That would be me.
David Brody
We're not those people. No, no, we're not those folks. We're not the best manicured lawn on the block. But I'll tell you what. We're in the top three. I'll be honest with you. I just took a survey.
Terrence
Okay.
David Brody
Yeah, I took a survey. All right, teammates, let's shift back over to Iran. President Trump has officially informed Congress that the hostilities there have ended. But hold on. The Iran conflict, obviously far from over. President Trump has announced a new operation in the Strait of Hormuz to escort ships through the strait. Iran promises retaliation. Let's bring in Wisconsin U.S. senator Ron Johnson. Senator Johnson, help us through this. So is this going to end? When is it going to end? How is it going to end? You know, we've heard we're going to blow Iran to smithereens. And, you know, he wants to give peace a chance. Where does this land eventually? Where do you think this is going? Good morning.
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, I can barely hear you. Maybe you can turn up. But you asked me about Iran. Listen, I never thought this would be easy. I agree with President Trump that Iran has posed an existential threat to America. It does. He had to act before we could no longer act, before they became a nuclear power, before they had so many missiles, so many drones, that this kind of action would have devastated the region. Now we're seeing how they're able to hold the Strait of Hormuz hostage and the world economy hostage. This awful regime, this brutal regime needs to come to an end. And what I primarily want is I want to. Now that President Trump has started this action, he needs to finish the job, and it looks like he's willing to do that. I take heart in the fact that they keep proposing a half measure. He's standing strong, saying, no, you need to end your nuclear program. You need to turn over your enriched uranium. You cannot be nuclear power, and you have to stop sponsoring terror. So, again, I support the president. It's a tough decision. There's no guarantees here. Everybody hoped for a short conflict, but let's face it the guys with the guns in Iran, they're the ones in charge.
Dr. Gina
Senator, we had hoped to see a lot of people in handcuffs by now over all the COVID stuff, but there's one, so I guess that's better than zero. One of Tony Fauci's former top aides was indicted for trying to cover up the origins of the COVID virus, canceling, destroying, falsifying records. But I'm telling you this. We have chats, we follow during the show. It is full of. They want to see Fauci indicted. There are only days left, not very many. I want to say like four. For if the math in the back of my head is at all appropriate. Will he be indicted, Senator?
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, again, unfortunately, President Biden issued a part on all federal charges. You have the possibility some states, but I haven't heard any states moving toward indicting him. By the way, it was my staff that pulled the needle out of the haystack in terms that David Morin's email. Not from the. Any production of documents from hhs.
David Brody
From.
Senator Ron Johnson
From binds hhs. This is one of the universities they were dealing with. 115,000 page document production. My staff pulled that email that showed David More and Dr. Morin said they had a foil lady that was teaching him how to make documents disappear, emails disappear, and if he has something sensitive, send it to his Gmail. So that's really what set this all up. The Biden inspector general office did nothing. Is the Trump Inspector General office took that very seriously. Now, the other thing I want to talk about is on Wednesday, we held a hearing and I issued my report. This ought to be blockbuster news. The report title is unmasked How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a blind's eye toward COVID 19 vaccine safety signals. It's sick what these guys did. The head of cber, which is in charge of vaccines, he was warned on March 1, less than three months after the mercy user authorization, that their surveillance system was going to match safety signals. 26 days later, an updated algorithm analyzing VAERS showed 25 safety signals on incredibly serious adverse events. Sudden cardiac death, pulmonary infarction, Bell's palsy, different types of stroke. They hit it, but they didn't put a. They didn't pin a medal on Dr. Anna Sharman's chest. What they did is they shunned her off the side. They told her to cease and desist. This should be a major scandal. A blockbuster, blockbuster story. The legacy media is not covering it at all. I hope you guys stay on it. This is Again, it's sick what these folks did. They need to be held accountable as well.
Terrence
Senator Johnson, we are going to stay on this and I'd like you to detail your report a little bit more. But even before we get to that, this is an issue that could be addressed. Plus this week you and your colleagues are off work, you're back home in your district. You could and the argument I guess would be that you could stay and address these issues as well as others. Yes, DHS funding is a victory. You got that passed. But there's still so much work to do and there's frustration, quite honestly, Senator, that members of Congress and the Senate aren't still in D.C. working on so many other issues that need to be addressed. Is that fair?
Senator Ron Johnson
There's a reason that I support and the filibuster. Every Republican would like to have the filibuster when the minority to block awful Democrat legislation that will destroy this country. But they're going to end it as soon as they have the opportunity to do it anyway. So I say end it first. If we're going to do it, we're doing to secure elections to make America more prosperous. When the Democrats end the filibuster, they're doing it to turn America into one party nation. That's why they slotted millions of people unveiled in this country, sanctuary cities, bust up the census, give more members of Congress. They will pass the Supreme Court, they will turn D.C. puerto Rico into states, they'll nationalize elections, automatic registration, mail and balloting. Again, we need to stop them beforehand. And one of the reasons our base is pretty frustrated is because we are relying on Democrats to give us votes to do good things for this country. They won't. Democrats want chaos. So we need to end the filibuster, pass Save America act, do more things to benefit the American public like we did in the one big beautiful bill. Everybody's seeing those tax returns or tax refunds right now. So we Democrats want chaos. All they're interested in is power. We need to prevent them from gaining that power.
Dr. Gina
But Senator, I mean is it going to happen? I mean are we going to see any more productive work done before the midterms regardless of party? Are we going to see see anything else done? Because I mean Thune isn't exactly ushering all this in.
Senator Ron Johnson
Well, again what we can do is we can now that the House passed the 90% DHS funding bill, we can pass a skinny reconciliation bill that funds CBP and ICE through fiscal year 2029. Beyond that, unless we end the filibuster. Understand Democrats want chaos. They don't care how much pain they're willing to inflict on the American public. Remember, under Biden's administration, gasoline prices hit $5 a gallon in June 2022. Because their policies, not. Not because we're trying to end a existential threat to this country like President Trump's trying to do. So again, Democrats shut down the government to create cash. They shut down DHS because they refused to fund ICE and cbp, just like they wanted to defund police. Again, Democrat policies are insane. But again, all they want is power. They want chaos. They want the American people pretty upset. So it's a change election, so they regain power. Let's not let them get away with it.
David Brody
Senator Ron Johnson, thanks for being here and that Covid report. We'll make sure we take care of it. We'll go ahead and get some major exposure on that for sure. Thank you.
Senator Ron Johnson
Have a great day.
Terrence
Thanks, Senator Johnson.
David Brody
All right, coming up, Democrats hope to flip a Republican U.S. senate seat by running. Wait for it. A Communist with Nazi tattoos. That's the strategy, folks. You can't make it up. We'll be back in a moment to talk about it. Take a guess. Who's the communist with the tattoos.
Filler Host/Announcer
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm American Sunrise contributor Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out Democrat Senator John Fetterman, who is warning of a small communist takeover in Maine as Senate candidate Graham Platner, who once wrote I got older and became a communist, closes in on the Democratic nomination. Platner's path opened up after Governor Janet Mills dropped out despite reports of a controversial tattoo and past posts that he now brushes off as Internet posting. Fetterman also ripped far left groups like Code Pink, as financed by the Chinese Communist Party, saying Democrats are slipping into a, quote, orgy of socialism. With November approaching, all eyes are on Maine, a race that could reshape the Democratic Party and balance the Senate. For discussion, let's now bring in Dr. Gina David and Terrence. David, want to go to you first. I think I misspoke. I don't think we were flushing Fetterman. I think we are giving him some praise for calling out all of this craziness on the left.
David Brody
Yes. No, I agree. By the way, thanks for the quote, orgy of socialism. Now I've got that quote in my head for the rest of the show. I appreciate that. No, just kidding.
Filler Host/Announcer
Weird to say David Weird to say.
David Brody
Yeah, no, that's a good point. You had the burden there. You had to say it. That's true. All right, where do I begin? Well, you know, first of all. So let me get this straight. So the guy from Maine, I forgot his name. Now Grant forgot his name. Can you believe I forgot his name?
Terrence
It's not a name worth remembering.
David Brody
Yeah. Anyhow, that guy Platner. Thank you. Jason Grant Platner. So as he's getting older, he's now becoming a communist. I thought as you get older, you become a conservative, but he's becoming a communist, so go figure on that. All I know is that the Democrats who have a shot to win that Senate seat in Maine now pretty much don't because of this guy, number one. So that's a problem for them. They also have a problem in Michigan where they could possibly pick up a Senate seat, but they've got a guy there that is the leading Democrat candidate who's so anti Israel, I mean, he's anti Semitic, and he's got Hasan Piker coming in. So that's a problem. And so if you go down the list of the battleground states in the Senate, Democrats are literally, Terrence, shooting themselves in the foot here in places where they could pick up Senate seats. They're running these type of candidates.
Terrence
Let's just hope that common sense truly does prevail in all of those races that you just mentioned there. Because, and I hate to bring this up, but the reality is we said the same thing about Zoran Mamdami in New York. We were like, this guy is crazy. His office rocker. Even though we knew he was still gonna get elected, but those that all came to fruition, he ultimately was elected. And so let's hope that common sense rules the day in those markets in Maine and in other of these districts where we've got these extremist candidates running. Hopefully they don't get elected. I'm hopeful. I'm not gonna say I'm positive about it, because unfortunately, we've seen recently that some of these crazies still get into office.
Dr. Gina
Dr. Gina, I can't say that I don't. That I hope that they don't, because as long as we're gonna have a Democrat, I guess I'd rather have a crazy Democrat like Mamdani who can expose the absolute insanity of the left, rather than somebody who sits there and acts like a moderate and talks like a moderate, and then nobody realizes how bad they really are. This dude has a Nazi tattoo, so he can't Decide where he's coming from, where he looks like he just came out of a homeless encampment. I mean, he just wants to be a radical of something. I wish someone would just give this guy a cause. Maybe he could be like, you know, a radical tea drinker or a radical, you know, something that doesn't actually try and destroy our republic. That would be a nice place to start. Somebody give the guy a little radical label so he can be pleased with himself because apparently that's what he's going for.
David Brody
Instead, he's hanging out at the orgy of socialism.
Filler Host/Announcer
Stop saying it. No, stop saying it.
Terrence
You get one and you get one and one for you.
Filler Host/Announcer
No more. No more.
David Brody
Ok, I'm sorry.
Filler Host/Announcer
We're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
Dr. Gina
All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thank you for joining us this morning. We invite you to get in our conversation over on Gatter and Rumble. It is time now to take the political pulse of America. Well, here's the beat today. Race based redistricting was struck down in the state of Louisiana by the Supreme Court, opening up all states to discard their old racially gerrymandered maps. This allows states to draw their districts according to, well, the Constitution without regard to skin color. Imagine that. This has left the left in a panic. Red states across America are now rushing to redraw their congressional maps. Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, possibly Georgia in the future. Florida has already begun this process. Each of those states will add Republican leaning seats in Congress. That's huge for midterms and for future elections, of course. Guys, let's bring in Nicole Kripilov from the Independent Women's Forum. Nicole, this is a big deal, this Supreme Court decision and some redistricting is imminent, but will it have to time to affect the midterms?
Nicole Kripilov
I don't know if it'll affect the midterms, but definitely as we go into 20, 20, 2030, we're going to begin to see the results of this, of this SCOTUS decision. I think what's particularly interesting here is that the Democrats are putting forth this patronizing argument in response to what we're seeing right now. They're claiming that the ruling is racist, it's anti minority, which essentially rests on this idea that minority voters or black voters can't effectively participate or organize without federal intervention shaping districts. And that's just a very patronizing argument. It's gaslighting. On another level, I think it's really important to understand that so that the American people can see exactly what you said. We're getting closer to what the Constitution originally intended. And what the Democrats are saying in response to this is just really abhorrent. But this is the framework they rely on. They want to keep communities locked into this narrative of vulnerability and victimhood rather than competing for people's votes through results, economic opportunities, safer communities. So when the Democrats are talking about the SCOTUS ruling, they really are lamenting this loss of a system that helped guarantee political outcomes. And so this has nothing to do with the loss of anyone's ability to vote or be heard. So going forward again, especially into 2028, 2030, we're going to be seeing a lot more fairer representation across the entire country. And that's something that everyone should be championing.
David Brody
Yeah. I mean, what they're doing, the way I see it, is racist. There's no doubt about it. Nicole, look, the billionaire tax in California. Let's talk about that, because that's officially garnered enough signatures now to be on the ballot, which is interesting because ironically, Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom was actually coming out hard against it, warning that job creators are already leaving the state in droves. So what's going on here with Gavin? Here we go. Trying to be a moderate. We know he's a liberal. He's gonna run for president. Where is he today? It's like, you know, he's a human jigsaw puzzle that doesn't have a puzzle to fit.
Nicole Kripilov
Yeah. Well, Gavin, I wonder why they're leaving your state. What a mystery, right? I mean, the highest gas prices in the country in California, the highest overall tax burdens in the country. Housing costs, I believe, are about 50% higher than the national average. The largest homelessness population. The list goes on and on. California has created this regulatory environment where it's just easier to leave than to try and succeed. And it's all because of leadership, failed leadership like that of Gavin Newsom's. And Newsom here is, with this billionaire tax, he's basically admitting here that progressive tax policy shocker is driving economic flight. His policies have been an absolute disaster for California. That's why you see in California, high earners, businesses leaving. And these policies have. This is what I find ironic. Ironic. They've actually eroded the very tax base that is funding these expansive government programs. Right. This is essentially the contradiction of progressive economics. You can't simultaneously target wealth aggressively and then also depend on it to sustain your system. So I don't know, maybe Newsom is waking up to that reality, but frankly, it's too late.
Terrence
Nicole, you said something just a while ago that resonated with me. I'm somewhat paraphrasing, but you basically made the point that our elections should be decided based on platform and policy, not redrawing maps. So to that end, how much confidence do you think the American people should and can have in both Senate and House Republicans given their inaction on some major issues or given what they have done on major issues? And do you see the midterms being ok, we're going to vote for Republicans based on the fact that they're an alternative to Democrats or are they basing, do you think that voters will base their decisions on action and outcomes in the House and Senate?
Nicole Kripilov
I think that there is a very good reason why the American people have completely lost their trust in the House and in the Senate and Congress. And that's because of what you're essentially getting at is which, which is that we are not seeing nearly enough results as we should have been. Look, it's been a year and a half into a Republican majority in both chambers and there's still so much that has to be done. The president, his administration are working day and night to ensure that they're pushing through policies that benefit the American people. But those policies need to be codified. And so a great example of that we've been talking on and on about it is the Save America Act. I have said from the very beginning, nuke the filibuster in the Senate and get it passed through. And it's not just the Save America act, it's so many more policies that would codify the president's America first agenda. Because ultimately that's what the people want to see. The people are thinking long term as well. 2028, God forbid we don't have a Republican president. We want to ensure that we can put into place these policies now that will be sustainable and last for many more years to come to ensure that we never get to the place that we were under the Biden administration.
Dr. Gina
Nicole Kiprilov, we appreciate you being here. Thank you.
Terrence
Thanks, Nicole.
Shira Bowler
Thanks for having me.
Dr. Gina
All right, guys. You know, I'm on the Maha bandwagon. That's really the worst kept secret on this show. And I love all the great new health advancements and research happening right now at the tip of the spear. A true patriot, Trevor Comstock from Sacred Human, and he joins us Now, Trevor, give us the elevator speech for the Sacred Human. For those of us who haven't heard it yet.
Trevor Comstock
Yeah, great to see you, Dr. Gina. And real quick, I did want to mention that we are currently running our Mother's Day sale. So if you did want to take advantage of it, you can use Code Mother at checkout for 15 off any one time order. Like I said, I just want to mention that before I forget, but to your point, for anyone that doesn't know about us, the real reason we created Sacred Human was really just to offer health products that are clean, natural and made with integrity. So when we launched about two years ago, our main goal is really just to provide, you know, people with high quality and affordable products while kind of breaking away from the big corporate model that usually prioritizes profit over health, as you can imagine. But unfortunately, kind of what we saw throughout the market was that a lot of the, the companies within the industry were cutting corners. So they'll market their products as healthy. But then you take a closer look, look at the label and you'll find things like preservatives, food dyes, artificial additives, and just a lot of other ingredients that really don't do anything beneficial for your health. And then on top of that, many of these companies tend to outsource their production overseas, usually to China, where the quality control obviously can be pretty questionable. So in that regard we just kind of took the opposite route. And we, you know, always promise to make sure that everything is produced right here in the USA and we only use ingredients that we trust. And then going off that too. I just wanted to highlight our, our flagship product which is our 100 grass fed beef liver. Of course, I know many people still aren't familiar with the benefits of beef liver. A lot, a lot of people don't know how powerful it is when it comes to overall health. But I always like to make the analogy that it's oftentimes called nature's multivitamin and for a pretty good reason. That's mainly because it's packed with highly bioavailable nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin A, B12, CoQ10, folate, which are all essential for things like healthy skin, hair, heart, immune system, as well as brain function. And then on top of that, it also contains many other critical vitamins and minerals that most people are deficient in. So you'll get things like selenium, K2 as well as copper within it. And then of course, I always like to mention one of the biggest value adds to the beef liver is Just the natural energy boost that you good after taking it. So a lot of people, you know, we get reviews and emails every day of people just letting us know how much their energy levels have improved and how great they feel after taking the beef liver. So that's always a huge plus to the product. And what makes the product really stand out is that because it is a whole food supplement, your body can actually absorb and retain these nutrients as opposed to just flushing them out, which is usually the case if you're taking something like a synthetic multivitamin or anything like that. So right off the bat, you're getting a much better bang for your buck. And again, I think it's why people love the product so much.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. And remind them where they can find the products.
Trevor Comstock
Yeah. You can go to sacredhumanhealth.com Like I mentioned, if you want to take advantage of the sale that we have going on. You can use Code Mother at checkout for 15 off any one time order. Of course, for all the mothers out there, we have our tallow moisturizer which is also extremely popular. It's all natural, made with the two ingredients, which is the 100American grass fed and finished beef tallow and then the ramenuka honey from New Zealand. And it's just amazing for overall, you know, daily hydration for your skin. If you have eczema or any redness, it helps bring that down quite a bit. And again, there's no synthetic ingredients within that. And the reviews on that product have been amazing. We're actually almost sold out of it, but we're trying to restock soon, so I'm hoping we don't have to list as out of stock shortly.
Dr. Gina
All right, Trevor Comstock, have a happy Mother's Day. Thanks for being with us.

Today, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is speaking out, telling Tucker Carlson that too many Republicans are bought and paid for and no longer represent the American people who put them in office. In a wide ranging sit down with Carlson, Greene called out New York Congressman Mike Lawlor, saying he puts on a loyal face for President Trump in public but mocks him behind closed doors. It's the latest in Greene's bold media tour since leaving Congress, where she's called out DC Corruption head on and even encouraged Tucker Carlson to launch a 2028 presidential run. With midterms approaching, Greene's comments are already drawing attention across Washington and could shape the conversation inside the GOP in the months ahead. Let's bring in.

He was welcomed in by everybody. I mean, he was propped up as the guy we have to fight for one of the most critical races as an incoming Republican candidate because it was a very close district and it was so important. We were told it was so important to win this district. Well, I learned a lot about him very quickly. He as a Catholic, Mike Lawler as a Catholic, was heavily supported and funded by the Jewish community there and was heavenly being supported by all the Christian Zionists. And he instantly had more support from pretty much every fundraising mechanism that there is in Washington, D.C. that supports Republicans. He had more help than I could have ever dreamed of having ever in my entire political career. And I was like, wow, what is going on with this guy? And it turns out he did win his race. It was a narrow victory, but he did win it. And of course, he instantly came into the House of Representatives completely bought and paid for by all of the establishment donor class that had supported him. He hated Donald Trump, made fun of him, constantly mimicked him, making fun of his voice. He used to attack me, make fun of me, come and find me on the House floor and make fun of me for supporting Donald Trump. And this was. This was in the four years before Trump got elected as president again in 2024.

We want to know what you, our viewers, think about all of this. Let us know on Rumble or Getter or in our chat on YouTube. Hop on and let your voice be heard. Coming up, our own David Brody is standing by with the top story he's keeping his eye on today. The One to Watch is after the break. Stick around.
Dr. Gina
All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks so much for being with us this morning. It is time now for the One to Watch. David, you've been gone, so we're gonna let you tell us what you have your eye on today.
David Brody
Well, take a wild guess, and I wanna run a Tucker Carlson clip. Of course I do.
Dr. Gina
Imagine.
David Brody
I know, I know you're shocked. He was asked why he called Trump the Antichrist. He says he didn't call Trump the Antichrist. But take a look at this.
Terrence
What I was saying, which is you
Trevor Comstock
cannot mock other people's gods and put yourself in their place, period.
Terrence
That is a deal killer for me. That's worse than the war with Iran, in my opinion.
David Brody
Yeah.
Dr. Gina
But I ask because, you know, you've been talking on your show about whether Trump is the Antichrist.
David Brody
I have not said that.
Dr. Gina
On your show, the day after Easter, you noted he did not put his hand on the Bible during his swearing ceremony as president.
Shira Bowler
You said, and I'm quoting, maybe he
Dr. Gina
didn't put his hand on the Bible
Shira Bowler
because he affirmatively rejects what's inside that book.
Dr. Gina
And then on a recent show, you went further, saying, here's a leader who's mocking the gods of his ancestors, mocking
Shira Bowler
the God of gods and exalting himself above them, could this be the Antichrist?
Trevor Comstock
I actually did not say could this be the Antichrist? Here's a leader who's mocking the gods of his ancestors, mocking the God of gods and exalting himself above them.

Could this be the Antichrist?
Trevor Comstock
Well, who knows?
Terrence
I don't know where that comes from,
David Brody
but I know that those words never
Trevor Comstock
left my lips because I'm not sure I fully understand what the Antichrist is.
Terrence
If there's just one.
Trevor Comstock
I actually tried to understand it. I may have said some are asking that I'm not weighing in on that because I don't understand it.

Just to be totally.
David Brody
She read the exact quote to Tucker Carlson of what he said. He said he didn't say it and then he said it did say it. He was wrong. I don't think it's innocent, but we'll leave that up to folks. Here's my point. In the interview he went on to say that Mike Huckabee is far worse than Nick Fuentes. Listen, if you think Mike Huckabee is a worse person than Nick Fuentes, then I am not listening to a word you're saying at that point. That's my view. Anybody? Anyone? Bueller?
Terrence
Hello?
David Brody
Anybody?
Terrence
You know, I think that he's just out here, you know, sometimes just saying things that are inflammatory maybe to get a reaction and sometimes not even realizing what he said. It's just something that comes off the top of his. You don't buy that? I'm going to give him a little bit of grace in that respect. I. And especially as it relates to what we just heard. I don't even think he may have realized he said it, it sounded good, it felt like the right thing to say. And he went on to the next thought and when reminded of it he was like, yeah, that really is out of bounds. I can't believe I would have said something like this. And you just showed the receipts, David, as you often do, that he did in fact say what he denied saying.
Dr. Gina
I normally do try to watch Tucker and all the rest of them that we criticize on the show. Cuz I really want to know things in context. I almost, I will say I had not watched the Tucker and MTG interview yet on the agenda. It's just hard to get things done. Got weddings and stuff. But on this I actually did listen to this in context and I knew immediately when she went down that line of questioning that he actually had said something very similar to that. I almost wonder if he misspoke, not making excuses for him but if he didn't mean end times, because that's been a big topic lately and it kind of fits that, if that's what he meant. I don't know that. You know, here's the thing, Terrence. I guess I kind of have to agree with you that I wouldn't want to be held responsible for the 20 years I've spent in media and all the things that I may have said just in a mind flow that could be taken in a, you know, smaller context. Anyway, you know, here's the thing. If we agree with people on most things, then we should probably be circling wagons instead of circling fire. Let's send prayers out to Rudy Giuliani, to Joe Hoft, to Jim Hoft. We will keep you posted on those things as the day progresses. Also, happy birthday, Zen Junior Parker. Happy to be on your team every day. You guys, war room is up next. Hug your children, love God, go boldly, make it a great day.
David Brody
See you.
