Late Night just got dangerous. After Hours with your host, Alex Stein starts right now.
Alex Stein
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to After Hours with Alex Stein, right here on Real America's Voice. And tonight, we got a great episode for you. We talked to Harrison Smith about the total and complete ending of a once great chapter called Infowars. That's right. You know the media company started by Alex Jones? Well, it's officially over, and now they are transitioning to the Alex Jones Network. So we talked to longtime host Harrison Smith, all about the future of the company and what went wrong and why they got targeted and basically shut down. All right, before we get into Harrison Smith, I got to talk about the news. We got to talk about everybody on freaking Twitter just posting and going on long diatribes all about the California governor's race. Last night, we had the first debate of the entire election. And I'll just say this. Things are spicy. I think they should have been a little spicier. But after seeing this group of candidates, now I know how Gavin Newsom became governor. Because all of these people look like idiots. I mean, even the ones that we think are kind of conservative. Sheriff Bianco, whatever. I mean, he's an okay guy, but he looks like a cartoon character. I mean, could he be governor? Probably. Probably do it better than other people. But my point is this. They still look like extras from central casting. I don't care what you say. And then if you put Gavin Newsom next to him, the guy's evil. The guy slept with his head staffer's wife when he was mayor of San Francisco. And the guy has no moral character whatsoever. But at least he's decently looking. He can put a sentence together. He can Communicate a point, even if it's a dumb point. And seeing these people on the stage last night really kind of made me nervous about the future of California. Now, every single candidate was asked to say one word on what they think about Gavin Newsom's leadership. And believe it or not, they were not too congratulatory with the adjectives they used to describe Gavin Newsom's candidacy or his term as governor of California. So let's play what some of the candidates had to say last night. I want to talk about California Governor Gavin Newsom, who's about to leave office after eight consequential and at times, controversial years. To all of you, what is one word you would use to describe Governor Newsom's performance as governor? We will go down the line, starting with you, Mayor Villaragosa. One word to describe Governor Newsom's performance as governor.
Harrison Smith
Performative.
Katie Porter
Bold. Progressive.
Alex Stein
Failed. Steve?
Sheriff Bianco
Failure. You can't take my word.
Katie Porter
Game changing
Alex Stein
incomplete. There's just so much about that clip that annoys me. It annoys me when they use game changing. That's two words, not one. It's just a simple question. Use one word, and then two of the candidates use the word failure. You fail, and then failure, you use the same word. If you think that you're going to be the governor of California, I would hope that you have the tiniest bit of creativity, that you would hear somebody else say the word that you're contemplating saying, and you would be able to adjust in real time and say a different word. Scumbag. Liar. Cheater. What is it? Adulterer. I mean, anything. There's so many other words you could have used, but a guy says fail and you go failure. And then he even used the proper tense when he said fail. Epic fail. Or it was a failure. It. Listen, everything about that pissed me off. Now, I do like Sheriff Bianco. Of all of them, he seems to be the most likable, but at the same time, the guy does look like a cartoon character. I know I just said that, but, I mean, there is something about him where you're kind of like, is this guy really a sheriff, or does he just play one on tv? So I want to play Sought two. And I did like this clip. And this is Sheriff Bianco calling out the Democrats for constantly always trying to overtax and not just tax the middle class, but specifically how they're targeting and taxing the rich. Let's play the club.
Sheriff Bianco
So these Democrat policies of tax everybody to death and make them leave is how we started this program off to begin with. Everyone is leaving California and is because of their horrific policies. I agree with Katie that this is a horrific tax bill, but she is wrong on one thing. This is not a billionaire tax bill. You just have to read it and, and read what it is. I have spent my career suffering the consequences of their decisions and their policy that they love talking about. I am the one that deals with it. And this, the 140,000 people that are paying 50% of the taxes are going to leave. And then the wording of that bill makes the middle class and the lower middle class make up all those taxes. Thank you.
Alex Stein
Now, I like what he's saying there. I mean, living in California has become impossible, especially if you're a Fortune 500 company, because the tax, the way that they tax you to death, you just constantly have to pay more money, more money, more money. And it never ends. And it makes it almost impossible to create a small business, or a big business for that matter, and be successful. So Bianco is making some sense. Now. There were a few kind of spicy, juicy moments and I like this moment between Katie Porter and Tom Steyer because it got a little spicy. And you know, both of these people try to pretend like they're on the same side of the aisle. But I like to see everybody so happy when it's Candace and Tucker versus Ben Shapiro and yada yada, yada. I don't really like that that much because I kind of get thrown into the middle of it and then I have to defend people and it's not really that fun for me. But what is fun for me, what I enjoy very much so, is watching liberals go at each other's throat. Let's play the club.
Katie Porter
I have said that billionaires like me should pay more taxes and the big corporations should pay more taxes.
Tom Steyer
Excuse me.
Katie Porter
You literally said, if this proposition is on the ballot in November, I'll vote for it. But going forward, we do need to go further. This is a one time tax and it also doesn't spread the money across the government the way everything else does. And specifically it doesn't go to education and teachers and students, which is a critical need in the state of California. The tax I'm proposing to close a corporate real estate tax loophole. Thank you.
Harrison Smith
More money and it's spread through candidates, balance budgets.
Tom Steyer
Congressman, I'm confused. Do you support the billionaires tax that is going to be on the ballot in November? Yes or no?
Katie Porter
Katie? I just said I will vote for it if it's on the ballot in November. So, and so what I've said is, but you just said it doesn't go far enough.
Alex Stein
I've never seen two people agree on a political viewpoint that looked like they disagreed so much. That was very weird and very odd. And I think the state of California is totally cooked. And I hope that that is not the case. I hope they're able to recover. But if you just kind of watch any clips from last night, or if you watch the entire thing, you realize that maybe the brightest people in the room are not going to be the ones that are actually running the state of California. Now we got to talk about another legendary woman that used to live in California for a little bit. Her name is Megyn Kelly. Now, Megyn Kelly is currently under a targeted attack with cancellation after cancellation. People are going after sponsors. People are labeling her as anti Semitic. People are getting mad at her for not going after Candace. People are getting mad at Megyn Kelly for being friends with Tucker. And basically it's nothing to do with her viewpoints when it comes to any domestic policy. All of the criticisms towards Megyn Kelly have been based on her foreign policy viewpoints. And I know that that seems to be the point of contention with all conservatives right now on whether or not we are supporting Israel too much. And I think it's a conversation that we should all have, and I don't think it's a conversation that we should have and be labeled an anti Semitic for having that conversation. But sadly, that's not how the media works. And I know a lot of people are very pro war that are watching the show. I'm still kind of, you know, waiting to see how it all shakes out. But I want to play this two minute clip from Megyn Kelly where whether you like her or not, she's just speaking the truth. And it's hard to debate her on a lot of the points that she makes. Let's play it.
Megyn Kelly
And that's been one of the main sticking points in actually having a ceasefire ever since Israel at every turn turns to warlike behavior, more deaths of civilians. Look at the journalists who are being killed in Lebanon, not to mention the children who are getting bombed. Some of it is on camera. And every time just, oh, well, we tried not to. Well, I listened to that. I listened to that for a good year, two years. And now I see you doing it in location after location and Lebanon and Beirut is starting to look like Gaza and you're unapologetic about it and you won't work with us and you definitely goaded our president into this, though. He has agency and is equally to blame. And now I'm sick of it. And I don't care. And I think Tucker doesn't care. And I think you don't care. Insane people don't care. Call me whatever the hell you want. I don't care. I've been called a bigot by the trans people. I've been called a racist by the Blmers. I've been called now an anti Semite by you folks.
Alex Stein
Yeah, it's the same tactic, isn't it?
Megyn Kelly
Truly disgusting person. Or I just have political takes based on reality that are mainstream. This has been a disaster for the Trump administration and for our country and for the world. I mean, the global fuel supply. Just take a look at the numbers. You've got American European Airlines, Middle East Airlines, now completely revamping their forecast for this year. We reported this morning that American airlines had projected a 4 billion doll profit expected this year. It's all been wiped out, they said. The entire thing has been wiped out by the rising price of jet fuel. Spirit Airlines just went over here in America. They were already struggling for years, but this didn't help. And all of that's going to eventually get passed on to the consumer. So, and that's. And that's just one example. That's airline fuel. I mean, forget prices at the actual gas pump and the cost of oil in general, which tends to skyrocket energy and other prices. All of that's coming even if we end the war today. So my best advice to the president would be give the Iranians the deal they want. They seem to be willing to deal on the Strait of Hormuz, which, of course is an absurd place to be. It was open before this war. If we just left them alone, we would never have this problem. But give them a deal to get that thing back open, because it does need to open back up. And let them give you a fig leaf on nuclear ambitions. Because, look, we already devastated their ability to develop a nuclear weapon back in June with the, with the strike on the plants. We know that. We know they were nowhere near getting a new nuclear bomb from our own intelligence community, who told that to President Trump just before we unleashed this war on them. So we don't need much from the Iranians.
Alex Stein
Now. I really disagree with Megyn Kelly. I don't care about the rising prices of gas because I think that that is just, you know, it's what we have to pay to support the troops. But there always are some happy Surprises because everybody's been Talking about the 711 prophecy for years and now it has finally come true. The price of a gallon of gas is now $7.11. And when the founders created Seven Eleven, which is a company that was started right here in Dallas, Texas, that's a fact. It got sold to some like Chinese hedge, hedge fund firm or something about 20 years ago. But before it was owned by the Chinese, it was started by a guy from Dallas, a family. But my point is this. It was all worth it. So I disagree with you, Megan. And I think things are going to be a okay, we're going to get the straight open, the gas prices are going to go down and then we're not going to have these cool memes anymore of the 711 prophecy. But you know what? We're all going to survive. And you will too, Megan. So I don't think you're an anti Semite. I just think that you're wrong and that sometimes mistakes can be happy miracles. All right, guys, coming up after the break, we sit down with Harrison Smith from Infowars to tell us about how they got canceled and shut down and what's the future hold for the once great Alex Jones. Still great Alex Jones, dare I say. Coming up next.

Welcome back to after hours. Unreal america's voice.
Alex Stein
Welcome back to After Hours with Alex Stein right here in real America's Voice. And guys, I had the opportunity to speak to Harrison Smith, who's been a longtime employee of Alex Jones at Infowars and the host of the American Journal about the cancellation and ending of a once great media company, still a great media company that won the only Infowars. That's right. They are done. It's over. And now they've transitioned to the Alex Jones network. And we talked to Harrison Smith all about it. Check it out. Right now, ladies and gentlemen, I want to introduce my next guest. He's an incredible guy. He's been working for Alex Jones for years and he was just unfairly targeted by the Department of Justice and was a victim of a one billion dollar lawsuit. That's right. You love him. The host of American Journal, the one, the only Harrison Smith. Harrison. Is it still American Journal though, or do we have a new name on the show?
Harrison Smith
Well, I moved, I moved over to the War Room. So I'm on the war room now. It's the afternoon show. So I was the host of American Journal for about five years, but about months ago I started doing the War Room and I still do it 3 to 6pm Monday through Friday at Alex Jones live dot com. Yeah, thanks so much for having me on.
Alex Stein
Well, I think that's the big news. I mean, obviously everybody's heard about the court case. Everybody heard about the rumors about the Onion taking it over. Is Infowars dead? And you have the new app Alex Jones Network ajn. So can you give us what is the latest update? What is the truth? Not some gay Tim Heidecker video of him trying to pretend to be Alex Jones. What is the real truth about what's going on with Infowars and AJ in?
Harrison Smith
Yeah, when you say rumors about the Onion taking over, what you mean is despicable lies from the Onion about taking us over. Yeah, it's the most brazen thing ever. And the crazy thing is it happens over and over. They could have taken us down years ago if they just weren't insane criminals. And this is just my personal view. I'm expressing my own opinion here, and I gotta be concerned about, you know, justifying that. Now all of this is alleged or whatever people say, but it's like they tried to buy us two years ago during an auction, but they rigged the auction and it was a totally fraudulent auction. Now, to me, it seems like if the. The winner of the auction was actually colluding with the auctioneer and didn't have the highest bid, you would think it would just then automatically go to the actual highest bid. But for some reason, that's not what happened. But they like under bid, even though they have infinite amounts of money. I mean, They've already spent $325 million trying to bring us down. They could have just. I mean, I think. I think the bid was like $3 million. They could have bid four. They would have had Infowars clear and free and, you know, sign on the dotted line, it would have been done. But it's like they can't do that. It's like they can't just do things normal. They can't just go, oh, here's the highest bid. We'll bid higher. Problem solved. They have to go in and go, well, we're going to do this maneuver where we're actually going to put forward future earnings of Alex Jones that we have on no decision. I mean, it's. It's all insane. And so the same thing happens again where if they had just quietly gone and made a deal in the background and, and purchased Infowars from the judge, it would have been corrupt. They probably would have gotten away with it. But they went out two weeks before the deal was over. And start telling everybody we own Infowars. We're in the studios, the brand is ours. It was. And so, of course, we go, what the hell? And we go and put an emergency stay. And of course, it never happened. They never had an agreement. They never owned infowars. They just lied about it. It's like they can't help themselves. They have to try to do something underhanded, and it screws them over every time. So the latest is that the Alex Jones Network is. Is live and running. It is everything Infowars was. All the people have moved over all the. The new studio that we have is sort of. It's small, but it's functional. It looks really great. It's a temporary spot as we build out bigger studios. So we are continuing. We are building, we are expanding, and they can't stop us because we don't do things that are wrong. We don't break the law, we don't hide money. And so they keep trying to screw us, and it just doesn't work.
Alex Stein
No, you're exactly right, though, with that last statement. They can't stop us because I know that they can take the millions of dollars in camera equipment and digital boards and studio equipment, but they can't take Alex Jones. They can't take Harrison Smith. You guys have both built, you know, big audiences. Obviously, Alex Jones is one of the biggest content creators, broadcasters of the last, you know, few decades, or at least the last few generations. Excuse me. So my point is, what do they get? What does the Onion even get? They just get to use the InfoWars logo. They get the intellectual property. Because I'm confused on what they're actually buying. If you don't get Alex Jones, no offense, it seems not worth that much of that.
Harrison Smith
AJ no, yeah. Alex Jones is the brand. He is the legend, he is the icon. It's. But it's a. You know, infowars is a standard, like a Roman standard, like a flag. They wanted to capture that flag and grind it into the dirt. They wanted to confuse people by pretending to be us to discredit the name Infowars. On top of that, they want to be able to take down our information on the Internet. So legally, Alex Jones, for the last 25 years, has told everybody, and there's been contracts and, like, legal postings on the website saying, all of this is free to air. None of. All of this is copyright free. Everything that Infowars produces is a gift to humanity, and it can. You can't retroactively go back and say, oh, actually, Never mind, we own it now and all of that is ours. You can't do that. So. But you know, the big tech companies don't necessarily have to play by the rules. And if they get an official takedown order from the owners of Infowars, they might just comply with it, even though it wouldn't be legally enforceable. So. And they could also get access to our servers and information. They could scroll around and try to find stuff to screw us over that way. Obviously they've done that before and they're probably doing that again. But what they would get would be like the brand and like the social media platforms like Infowars, the account on X or something like that, which is a huge account.
Alex Stein
Wait, Aarson, that's a huge deal. They would have access to an account that is one of the biggest accounts. I mean, I'm sure there's some bigger accounts, but you don't. I mean it's a very influential account. So they would actually have the Infowars social media handles and all the in control over all of that, I believe.
Harrison Smith
So the, the thing is though, the much bigger account is a real Alex Jones and they tried to get that. And that's why, if you remember back during the bankruptcy auction and everything, Elon Musk actually got involved and his lawyers came down. Lawyers for X came down because they had to determine like wait, are you going to get to take this guy's personal Twitter account? Because of this law. And it would basically be a violation of the 13th Amendment. And they really are trying to basically abolish the 13th amendment for Alex Jones specifically. Right, the, the amendment abolishing slavery.
Alex Stein
They're basically abolished the First Amendment. Harrison. That's the amendment. That's the big one. I mean, literally, I'm not even trying to kiss your derriere, but I think that when it comes to the first Amendment, some argue the second amendment is more important because you need the second one to defend the first. But Alex Jones is the first free speech absolutist that I ever really started following. A true guy that was actually speaking freely and you know, people can talk about Sandy this, Sandy that. He never did anything to any of the families. He never went after them. He talked about it, he had some conspiracy theories, but I thought that that would be protected under the First Amendment. So I think forget about the 13th Amendment. This is a direct assault on the First Amendment. And that's why I'm frustrated that more people aren't getting behind Alex Jones. Even all these leftist libtards that act like, they like free speech. Those should be the ones that are championing Alex Jones. Jones the most.
Harrison Smith
In my opinion, 100%. No, you're exactly right. And this is. This is a very serious attack against the First Amendment. And it's just the latest against Alex Jones. Remember, he was the one that was DE platformed in 2018 off of every social media platform within a week. That was a major pressure campaign. And they thought that would have done it. Right. They thought they could take him out by taking his platforms. But of course, he had banned out video. He had the Infowars store that, you know, kept revenue coming in. So we were able to survive that. And so they moved on to their next attack, which was the lawsuits to bring us down. And this is something that they could do to anybody. And they have already taken this sort of precedent, this sort of template that they used on us and used it against people like Mike Lindell doing the default judgments where you don't even get to present a case. They just say they. And with Infowars, what they did was they demanded things that don't exist. So they demanded marketing material that showed how Sandy. How you changed your coverage about Sandy Hook because it was profitable, which a. We don't have marketing material. You've been to Infowars. You've been behind the scenes. You know that it is. It's chaos. There's no control whatsoever. Nobody is going over the numbers and going, geez, Sandy Hook really got us a lot of money. We should talk about that one. It just doesn't happen. And so. But they're asking for that type of information, which if it did exist, which it doesn't, but if it did, it would be basically them asking for us to prove their case. Right. It's like we're suing you because we think that you covered Sandy Hook purposefully to make money. Now give us the documents that showed you covered Sandy Hook purposely to make money. It's. It was just absurd on. In a number of ways. But that default judgment template they have now used against Michael and Dell and other political people. So this is very real in terms of destroying the First Amendment. And it's not just you point out, like, where are the liberals on this? I completely agree. The conservatives have thrown Alex under the bus just as much as anybody else. And really, to me, it's about the legal experts in the legal professions. Because when you look into these trials and this. What has occurred, and they weren't even really trials, so I shouldn't even say that.
Alex Stein
Yeah, well, the Judge was at. Was on the red carpet of the Netflix documentary. I saw your tweet about that. He never had a chance in the court courtroom.
Harrison Smith
No, they never had a chance. And, like, they had a jury there. But the jury wasn't deciding guilt or innocence. They were deciding how much money he owed. He was already guilty. Then they brought in the jury and said, we're going to ask you how guilty he is, but he is guilty. Which is why Alex would always say, instead of guilty until proven innocent, or, you know, it's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Sometimes it's guilty until proven innocent. We were guilty until proven guilty. Right. It's. It's beyond absurd. Every step of the way, the legal malpractice, the legal malfeasance has been astronomical. So I look at the, you know, the YouTube lawyers out there and go, are you not, like, having an existential crisis about your profession when you see the way that the law just has been destroyed over this case? It's insane.
Alex Stein
Guys, that's not the end of it. After the break, Harrison tells us about the future of the Alex Jones Network and what went wrong and why they got canceled and ended. That's coming up after the break. Thank you so much for staying up late and watching After Hours with Alex Stein right here in Real America's Voice. Here is the other half of my interview with the host of the American Journal on the new Alex Jones Network, Harrison Smith. Harrison, I want to just thank you, and I know this doesn't feel like a thing that I should be congratulating you for, but I'm sure you do feel a little sense of relief that now it's kind of over and now you can start the new chapter because it wasn't being in limbo a pain in the butt? You know, I'm good friends with Rex, Alex's son, and you know, he's not happy about the situation. I know you're not happy, Alex. Not happy, but at least I guess we're starting a new chapter, even if we don't know how that chapter is going to go. Doesn't that feel like. Like a little closure is good, or. How do you honestly feel about this transition?
Harrison Smith
I'm so happy it's over, man. I'm not. I'm not sure about this now. For Rex, it's different. He grew up there. It's very personal to him. I mean, they stole his inheritance. That's what you have to understand. They robbed him of a fortune. Okay? So, like, for him, it's probably a lot More personal for me. You know, the way I explain it is for the last two years, every couple of months, we're led out to the execution block. We put our head down the hood over, we get the last rights, and then they go, yeah, not today. And at a certain point, you're just like, drop. Drop the guillotine already.
Alex Stein
Just kill me already. Like, yeah, misery.
Harrison Smith
Yeah, yeah. So, I mean, so it's just been interminable, and now it's finally over. We've moved to the new place. We're, like, firing on all cylinders. Everybody in the office, like, feels this new sort of rejuvenated energy. It's been amazing. And then. And like, again, if the Onion hadn't done. If, if the Onion had done it the right way, they would own us by now. But they're are just weasels, so they can't do that. Or if they had not said anything, we would have, like, quietly closed down. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal. But because the Onion came in to make a big deal out of it, got a ton of eyes on it, it's like, it's crazy that everything our enemies do end out working out for us, end up boosting us, and, and doing better for us, because we're not trying to play games. We're not trying to screw people over. We're not Machiavellian. We're just plowing forward, being honest, delivering the news, just, you know, loving our audience, and that's. That's just what works. And it doesn't matter what they throw in front of you. You can blast through it. So, you know, all glory to God, obviously, but all credit to Alex Jones for seeing this attack coming and preparing the sort of systems necessary to maintain operation despite all of the attacks. And of course, the InfoWars audience, the Alex Jones network audience. TheAlexJonStore.com TheAlexJonStore.com Harrison, if you want to let them know who sent you. But because of y' all support, we have really made the most out of this and, and are actually going to be better off at the end of it. It's really amazing.
Alex Stein
Well, I'm happy that we got a. I mean, I guess it doesn't feel like a fairy tale happy ending, but we're getting there. We're trending toward that direction now. You keep on bringing up Machiavelli, and I was watching a YouTube video about Machiavelli, and he did say something so brilliant that I agree with 100. He said, Most people are good but the people in power are most are mostly bad because at some point they had to do something bad to get to that position. They had to screw somebody over, they had to be greedy. They had to, you know, stab somebody in the back to get to that level of power. So I understand that Alex Jones isn't, you know, playing some 60 chess this and that, but Tim Heidecker making those cringe videos to me is the best marketing campaign that Alex Jones could ever have. So I think everything will be okay as Alex Jones just stays cool. Is the good guy. Which in my, my eyes has always been. I feel like there is a saying good guys finish last. But in this one I think Alex being good. Good will triumph over evil. But what do you think about that statement, Harrison?
Harrison Smith
Yeah, you know, Machiavelli is a cynic and, and really Alex Jones disproves all of that. And that's probably like most of what's, you know, inspiring the outrage and the, and the hate and the attacks against us is that Alex Jo, totally independent dude that never had to sell out, never had to partner with the elite and yet stands toe to toes, toe to toe with the big guys. I mean we have more influence than them. They hate that, that an independent random dude from Texas can actually build a company that can compete with the big guys. It's supposed to be you have to serve them if you ever want to get ahead. Alex Jones disproves that, which makes him so much, you know, more dangerous than anything else. The example that he represents of what anybody can do if you're, you know, motivated and, and honest, you know, you can really achieve incredible stuff. And look, people get black pilled about how evil and wicked and, and despicable our system is and how malleable it is and manipulatable and how it, it destroys good organizations like Infowars and good men like Alex Jones. And what I always say to that is they have to be that bad, otherwise we can't be the heroes, right? Nobody would care about Harry Potter or Voldemort wasn't killing kids, right? Like you need the bad guys, you need the evil. They have to be ruthless, they have to be unreasonable because we have to be able to defeat them and have somebody to stand up against. So in a weird way it's like of course these people are the worst. Of course everything they do is, is despicable. If they weren't, then we wouldn't be the good guys and we wouldn't have anybody to fight against. They, we need them to to sharpen our steel. You know what I mean? You gotta. You gotta always look on the bright side of things. You gotta always try to. Try to look on the bright side of life.
Alex Stein
I agree. Glass half full. Okay, before you go, this is my last question. You and I did a great debate. Boomers versus millennials. Brandon Straka from the Walkaway movement. Do we have any inside information on when that thing's going to come out? It's been like a month, and we did that debate. I'm ready to watch it every couple of days.
Harrison Smith
I'm like, should I text and be like, when's that coming out? Because I know it was. We covered a lot of, like, pertinent material. I mean, I think since the Iran war.
Alex Stein
A lot has changed in the last month. Just with the Iran war and all this stuff. I'm like, why have we put that debate out?
Harrison Smith
I think we did too well. I think we did too well. We destroyed the boomers too thoroughly, and it was embarrassing for him. That's what I'm going with.
Alex Stein
Well, let's be honest. Time out, because I know you got to go. I know you're in a hurry. We agreed with the boomers on every domestic policy. The only thing we didn't agree with them on was some of our foreign policy issues, specifically Israel. But even that, there was some other foreign policy stuff we didn't agree on. But domestically, we all have the same problems and we all want the same solution. So that's why I'm frustrated that we all can't come together and save our country instead of trying to save Iran or Israel or Saudi Arabia. It's just really frustrating. So, Harrison, before you go, how can people find you and how can they support you on the new Alex Jones Network?
Harrison Smith
Well, you got to follow us on X. You can follow me at Harrison H. Smith at AJN Live is the Alex Jones Network. You can go to Alex Jones live.com, alex Jones app.com, i think. Or maybe it's Alex Jones Live dot app. But there's.
Alex Stein
They can figure it out. You guys, you guys can't find Alex Jones's social media. You don't know how to work the Internet.
Harrison Smith
Yeah, get on. You get on your telephone, type in Alex Jones Network and on the App Store. Yeah, it'll. It'll pop up. So we're still out there. We're still available. Rumble as well. Alex Jones live on Rumble. War Room. Live on Rumble. War Room show on X. Follow us. Share the content. You know, we. We need you to get the Word out. And as always, everything is free to air. So I tell people all the time, start clipping Alex Jones clips and make a monetized X account. I mean, you could be making money off.
Alex Stein
Genius should be doing that. All the Clippers are doing clavicular, and Nick and all these other guys, they need to do some AJ clips. And that's genius. And I just want to say this before you go. So not only has Alex Jones helped me, but, Harrison, you have personally helped me out a lot. You kind of helped blow me up during the pandemic. So I'm happy that this is just another chapter, not the end of the story, which I knew it was going to be the end of the story. But I'm just, you know, I'm saying that in a positive way, trying to put a positive spin on it, because when one door closes, there's oftentimes a better door that opens.
Harrison Smith
Well, let me just say, I mean, you, Savannah Hernandez, I mean, the list is innumerable. The number of major right wings figures out there right now doing incredible stuff that either got their start at Infowars or through Infowars. I remember you coming on and doing the prank calls about your maid. You were making your maids get vaccinated and they kept dying, and you kept having to import more illegal immigrants. I mean, it was. And people were like, what is. Who is this guy? They thought you were real. I mean, that was really fun. So, yeah, we've. We've watched you since the beginning. And I gotta say, with. With a media landscape so fraught with frauds and feds and all this sort of stuff. Alex Stein, you are, like, one of the most real and pure dudes out there. And. And, you know, I say that in absolute confidence because, you know, a lot of these people, I wouldn't say that. But, you know, we gotta. We gotta stick to the real guys and support the real people out there actually doing the work, actually telling the truth. You are a premier exemplar of that. And I've just been lucky enough to be involved with. With you guys.
Alex Stein
I. Shut up. I'm sick of kissing each other's butt. But I wouldn't be where I am without Harrison saying, I want Alex sign on my show. So I owe you, and you're the man. Everybody go support Harrison. You can listen to him three to six every single day, Monday through Friday, and he sometimes has to work some Sunday, so you get him six days a week. He's, you know, if he's putting in the extra work. So all Right, Harrison, I'll talk to you again soon. This is good news, not bad news. So let's not throw a funeral. Let's have a party. And everybody go support Alex Jones and Harrison Smith and the Alex Jones network. Thank you, Harrison.
Harrison Smith
Thank you, sir.
Alex Stein
Guys, everybody needs to go and support Harrison Smith. They're doing great work. Support Alex Jones. He is a true to me hero. I know that sounds crazy, but I believe in the First Amendment and the fact that he was targeted, I think is a huge story that not enough people are rallying against. So, guys, coming up after the break, we talk even a little bit more about the dang California governor's debate, and we react to some crazy videos that you don't want to miss. That's coming up next. You know what time it is, guys? You're watching After Hours with Alex Stein right here in Real America's Voice. But it's late and you're like, alex, how do you stay up so late? How do you party so hard? This is my little secret. It's called Soldier Fuel. And not only does it help our soldiers in the battlefield, it helps me in the culture war battlefield and helps me dominate. So when you see a debate and you see me just owning libtards, just know that I was fueled by this delicious zero sugar five total calorie energy drink that I love so much. Make sure to go to buy soldierfuel.com and order a case today. And if you upload yourself by going to soldierfuel.comchallenge and you just make a little video, you chugging it, having some fun. I'm getting, you know, really soldier fueled out. Not only will we play it on the show, we'll also send you a free case of Soldier Fuel. So you can't beat that free $99. That's everybody's favorite price. All right, now we got to talk about a little bit more about this stupid debate for governor of California. Now, this clip to me is, I think it is just a little bizarre that every single candidate cannot campaign on their political agenda, but they have to campaign that they are campaigning against Donald Trump because that's what they want. They want the anti Trump person to vote for him. They don't care about the person that's on the fence, the moderate, the undecided voter. They're not trying to get them. They're trying to get the most polarized radical leftists to support them by saying, one of my campaign promises is that I will make sure to go after Donald Trump. And for some people, that strategy probably does work. But if you look at the mayor of New York City, Mamdani, he seems to be good friends with Trump and Trump always speaks highly of him, which is a little bizarre. But I mean, that's how friends are. If you kind of personally like a guy, you might not bash him publicly. And that's why it's important to make personal relationships with powerful people. But with Katie Porter specifically, she is a woman that is famous for berating her staff. She's had to apologize for it. It comes up constantly. So for Katie Porter, if you kind of look at her history, she's a little unhinged. Now, I think if I'm the California voter, she's probably the woman we need to go against Donald Trump. We need some psycho Karen to really yell at Donald Trump. And I think this clip is very telling because Katie Porter, instead of putting over the president saying, you know, anything neutral, she just talks about all the bad things that Donald Trump does for the state of California because she knows that her constituents more than likely on average don't like Donald Trump. So instead of campaigning on her agenda, she's creating a new agenda that is just basically anti Trump. Let's play the clip from the debate last night.
Tom Steyer
When Donald Trump hurts California, as he has again and again, then I will absolutely stand up to him 100%. He has denied wildfire funding to help disaster victims here in California. He has made it clear that he is seeking to specifically punish California in canceling green energy projects here that create good, high paying jobs while he's allowing them to continue in other states. We absolutely have to be clear about the risk that Donald Trump presents to Californians and to our economy and to our ability to change California for the better. So if he's going to attack California, yeah, F him,
Alex Stein
yeah. Fm but this is what frustrates me about that. Katie Port. Katie Porter, Is it Donald Trump's fault that the fire hydrants didn't work? Is it Donald Trump's fault that they didn't have water in the reserved reservoirs that are used to put out wildfires. How is that Donald Trump's fault? What, do you want him to grab a hose and start filling it up? No, it's your fault. And then you want to blame the economy on Donald Trump. No, the economy is bad because people can't afford to live in your state because there's no middle class or either an elitist tech bro that's super rich or you're doing doordash and Uber eats to make ends meet. And you know you know what? Usually those ends don't ever meet, and you're still struggling and you're in debt and you're stressed out. That's what it's like to live in California right now. If you're not going to get shanked by a homeless fentanyl addict, you're going to go into massive debt just trying to live in a studio apartment and fill up your gas station tank. So none of that, in essence, is Donald Trump's fault. Now, I believe that Donald Trump is obviously the leader of the free world, and I think that he probably should, you know, help out the state more. I mean, I could argue that Texas needs some more help from the federal government. Every state probably wants a little more help from the federal government if we're just being intellectually honest. But the things that you are complaining about are bare necessities that every single citizen should be afforded. And you're blaming that on Donald Trump. You're blaming wild, wildfire money on Donald Trump when you can't even make the fire extinguishers turn on or work. California is being ran by idiots. The prisoners are now in charge and they're forgetting to do the simplest of things, like have working fire trucks that can actually plug in to the fire extinguishers and get working water and put out devastating fires that not only killed human beings, but killed tons of wildlife and burned the cherished memories of very rich people. And on top of that, none of the houses basically have been rebuilt. Two years on from it, I believe less than three houses have even been rebuilt. So to me, it seems like you are the problem. You are the ones that are making it difficult. You are the ones that when people go to the permitting office, you say, no permit for you. We don't approve that. You can't build a new house. It's all of the retarded red tape in your state that has made it impossible to live in and has become a laughing stock because everybody used to love California and now everybody's scared of it. So, Katie Porter, it's not Donald Trump's fault that your state sucks. It's your fault and every other citizen that allows politicians like you to call the shots for him. So I implore all the citizens of California, if you're not happy with the current state of affairs, you need to do something drastically different. And I would love to see the first conservative Republican president since Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably not very conservative, but still, it would be nice. And if things continue to Go bad. Then you can blame it on the Republican and put in some lib tart, you know, in a few years after the fact. So I think it's a win win situation. Trying something new is the only way that I think the state of California can be saved. All right, now I also want to play this clip. This. This is insane. This is Obama walking back, him talking about how he accidentally told us that aliens are real. I don't even believe what they tell us about UFOs. If UFOs exist, they're already here. They're probably living in the ocean. They probably have some sort of technology where they can can be hidden from us. They have some sort of invisibility cloak or they're skinwalkers. They can just take over our body. Maybe the queen, she did live to like 101. Maybe that's how they live so long. Maybe they have a parasite alien living inside them, controlling all the levers. But let's play this clip of Obama walking back his alien UFO disclosure.
Barack Obama
Here's the thing for those of you who still think that, you know, we've got little green men underground somewhere.
Alex Stein
Yeah.
Barack Obama
One of the things you learn as president.
Harrison Smith
Yes. Is
Barack Obama
government is terrible at keeping secrets. This idea of conspiracy theories. If there were aliens or alien spaceships or anything under the control of the United States government that we knew about, seen photographs, what have you. I promise you, you. Some guy guarding the installation would have taken a selfie with one of the aliens and sent it to his girlfriend in prison.
Harrison Smith
It would leave or there'd be like, hints.
Alex Stein
There'd be like certain hints out there. Like a presidential center would look like a scout ship that's just come down from low orbit and landed in Chicago. That would happen.
Barack Obama
Something like that. It could happen.
Alex Stein
And do you wish they were real?
Barack Obama
I actually do. All right, I'm putting in a plug now.
Alex Stein
Okay.
Barack Obama
First contact. I think I would be a good emissary for
Announcer
the planet to represent me.
Harrison Smith
Yeah.
Barack Obama
I mean, I've got diverse background.
Alex Stein
Nothing makes me more upset than when people try to argue that conspiracies are not real. Because the secret would be too hard to keep considering we had the Manhattan Project. They were able to build a nuclear bomb in downtown Manhattan without anybody knowing the fact that they had the Tuskegee syphilis experiment where they gave poor black sharecroppers or ex sharecroppers syphilis and didn't tell them. Even when they had a cure for syphilis, they still didn't give them the cure. Just because they wanted to do a medical experiment to see the effects that it had on that community and other communities. So believe it or not, Obama, there's classified levels of information, you know, that the public might not know that. They should know that. So believe it or not, you have top level security clearance. People can get in legal trouble. You, as a president, if you release classified information, you could potentially go to jail. Now, the likelihood of them arresting a president is basically zero. But you understand the point I'm trying to make is that there are levels of information within the United States government and other governments for that matter, that keep secrets from the American people. So it's not that hard. So when he tells you that most conspiracies are not true because the secrets would be too hard to keep, just know that he's lying to you. And that is a manipulation tactic to make conspiracy theorists look dumb. And to see the Fox News boomers just eat it up. Oh, look, I'm a CNN boomer. I'm vaccinated. Oh, I love the vaccine. Well, keep taking your vaccine and keep believing that secrets are not being kept by people in power because they want to send selfies of it to their girlfriend. Give me a freaking break, Barack. Seriously. All right, guys, we got a great event coming up on Memorial Day right outside of Dallas in Bartonville, Texas. It's called the Celebrate Freedom event. The pimp on a blimp. Episode Title: ONGOING ONION–INFOWARS BATTLE, BEST & WORST OF THE CA GOVERNOR’S DEBATE
Host: Alex Stein
Guests: Harrison Smith (Infowars/Alex Jones Network), with clips from Megyn Kelly, California gubernatorial debate participants, and Barack Obama
Date: May 6, 2026
Theme:
A high-energy, irreverent late-night breakdown of current headlines and political drama with a focus on the demise of Infowars and the contentious California governor’s debate. The episode features insider reflections on the Infowars legal saga, insights into cancel culture and free speech, a sharp critique of California’s political class, and punchy, often comedic reactions to political and media developments.
Mismanagement & Legal Sabotage:
The Infowars Brand & Transition:
Free Speech Framing:
Impact and Resilience:
“Alex Jo[nes], totally independent dude that never had to sell out, never had to partner with the elite and yet stands toe to toe with the big guys...The example that he represents of what anybody can do if you're, you know, motivated and, and honest, you know, you can really achieve incredible stuff.”
– Harrison Smith [28:02]
Sheriff Bianco’s Tax Critique:
Bianco stands out for his direct attack on California’s tax system and warnings about driving out the wealthy, with Stein agreeing: “Living in California has become impossible, especially if you're a Fortune 500 company, because the tax, the way that they tax you to death, you just constantly have to pay more money.” [06:07]
Liberal Infighting:
Stein delights in snippy exchanges:
“What I enjoy very much so, is watching liberals go at each other's throat.” [07:02]
Anti-Trump Posturing:
Later, Stein skewers the candidates—especially Katie Porter—for campaigning against Trump rather than on their own merits:
“Instead of campaigning on her agenda, she's creating a new agenda that is just basically anti Trump.” [37:51]
“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to After Hours with Alex Stein...The future of California...now I know how Gavin Newsom became governor. Because all of these people look like idiots.”
— Alex Stein [01:06]
“If you think that you're going to be the governor of California, I would hope that you have the tiniest bit of creativity, that you would hear somebody else say the word that you're contemplating saying, and you would be able to adjust in real time and say a different word.”
— Alex Stein [03:54]
“Sheriff Bianco: So these Democrat policies of tax everybody to death and make them leave is how we started this program off to begin with. Everyone is leaving California and is because of their horrific policies...”
— Sheriff Bianco [05:20]
“This is a very serious attack against the First Amendment. And it's just the latest against Alex Jones. Remember, he was the one that was DE platformed in 2018 off of every social media platform within a week. That was a major pressure campaign. And they thought that would have done it.”
— Harrison Smith [21:06]
“The example that [Alex Jones] represents of what anybody can do if you're, you know, motivated and, and honest, you know, you can really achieve incredible stuff.”
— Harrison Smith [28:02]
“You are the problem...It's all of the retarded red tape in your state that has made it impossible to live in and has become a laughing stock because everybody used to love California and now everybody's scared of it. So, Katie Porter, it's not Donald Trump's fault that your state sucks.”
— Alex Stein [37:51]
“Nothing makes me more upset than when people try to argue that conspiracies are not real. Because the secret would be too hard to keep...”
— Alex Stein [43:03]

This episode delivers a whirlwind tour of current controversies, with Alex Stein’s signature blend of blunt humor and combative skepticism. The Infowars/Onion saga is portrayed as emblematic of a wider war on dissent and free speech, while the California debate is lampooned for its lack of substance and creativity. Megyn Kelly’s foreign policy critiques serve as a springboard for a discussion on cancel culture on the right, and Obama’s remarks fuel classic conspiracy counter-narratives.
Above all, the episode stands out for its raw, comedic energy, populist streak, and flagrant defense of controversial voices—even as it skewers political opponents and media narratives with unfiltered abandon.
